[Geraldine] I'd like some information on the difference between Essence's memories versus the Akashic Record. How different are the memories or experiences that are collected by each? Why the apparent duplication?
It is not that there are duplications, but that the Akashic Records are dependent upon the memories and experiences of every Essence. The Akashic Records are the Instinctive Center of the Universe, or Tao, if you will, and it is filled by the billions of Instinctive Centers for each Sentient fragment.
In the same way that each Personality contributes to the memories and and experiences of Essence, so does each Essence contribute to the memories and experiences of the Akashic.
The Akashic Records act as a sort of "living library" that holds the shelves that are the Grand Cycle of each Essence, filled with books that represent every version of that Essence, and every chapter with each book representing every Personality. This is a crude metaphor, but it will do.
Each book and chapter is filled only by the delivery of data by each Essence, and by no other means.
Therefore, the Akashic Records are only as accurate as the latest update, but this can be paradoxical when communicating to you, as "the latest updates" are not always a matter of linear time.
Every planet has its own Akashic Records, or more accurately, every localized Sentience has its own Akashic Records, or Plane.
Some of the lessons of the Physical Plane, if you will, are focused on GATHERING the experiences to add to the Akashic Records, while lessons of the Astral are focused on the actual addition of those Records, and the Causal is focused on the accessing of those Records.
The Mental Plane then begins the merging of Akashic Records among all Sentience within the Universe.
So in answer to your question: it is not that Essence memories are different from the Akashic Records, but that they are a step in the process of adding to the Records.
