  • Inputs vs. Senses vs. Chakras

    Janet

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2015]

    ViP:
"Input" has been defined by you, through Troy, as: "a channel or frequency through which an Essence becomes aware, processes, and comprehends."

From this, I assume that perceptions from the five senses of the body (assuming there are only 5, though of course there are probably more) reach Essence via an input.

Can you give a brief idea of how Senses and Inputs and Chakras/Centers are related to one another and work together in order to convey sense impressions to a person's Essence?

(I am quite sure this will require a topic-level response in itself, so if you could give a brief beginning of a response to point further directions for questions, that would be great.)

(Also, I was referring to the basic 5 senses, ie, touch, smell, hearing, etc, not the ones that Maureen just referred to - but please cover anything you consider relevant.)

    MEntity:
To accommodate this format for our exchange, our response will be in terms of shortcut analogies to help convey as much as possible:

First, consider how you process your own day.

Your 5 senses are alive and active at all times.

However, unless you reach for something and seek to TOUCH/FEEL it, you probably do not notice your clothing on your skin, the temperature of the air, the shoes on your feet, etc. For Touch to be meaningful, it tends to require intention or attention.

You are touching all day, but unless that touch grabs your attention or is directed by intention, the touch is passively processed and unnoticed.

Your brain is registering ALL of it, and knows that your butt is on a chair, but "you" do not particularly notice that your butt is on a chair, unless the butt starts hurting or it is a particularly comfortable seat.

So in terms of INPUT, the senses are fed into that input based on ATTENTION or INTENTION.

When the sensory input is ignited by attention or intention, then you are AWARE.

And this is the same way it works for Essence in terms of Input.

Everything is being funneled into your Inputs at all times and "dumped" into a reservoir for reference and processing and review, but when something in funneled through that was based on ATTENTION or INTENTION, then it activates the Awareness.

The 5 senses described here are not specific to an Input, but are a net that is cast for any possible moment of ATTENTION or INTENTION, and then the experience is funneled into the appropriate input where Awareness, Processing, and Comprehension is activated for Essence.

The more one has experiences that draw one's Attention, or where one is guided by active Intention, the greater the use of the Inputs and the greater the clarity of access to the life the Essence has.

Chakras would work in a similar way. In the context of this question, at least, they can be understood as a net that is cast for all dimensions of the self to monitor for Attention or Intention.

As you know, we can always say more on a subject, but we think this may be helpful for now.
