    [Question] what is Michael's definition of real purpose / real task / real mission – is this something that is contractual between our essence and our fragment, and essence will come in to communicate it to us… it seems that this “real work” occurs for fragments between the 4th I.M. and 5th I.M. Does it have 7 levels of operation ??? And, if so, what are they??? Maybe some people do it before the 4th and, starting of the 4th – and, do it throughout their lives starting of the 5th – and, do it throughout their lives

    We would think our phrase of “Life Task” may be of relevance here, and we would define that as “the original motivation for the physical form and for the dynamics of the Personality.” There are no contracts in this case, but there are intentions and agreements that are helped along by Essence until the Personality is no longer interested.

     

    The Life Task is what Essence intended to experience in the lifetime through this particular Personality.

     

    What Essence intends NEVER overrides what Personality decides. Essence has no urgency for these intentions because it is fully aware of the fact that it can create another lifetime and body for trying again. In addition to the option for creating new lifetimes for the intent of a task, there are also parallel branches within a single lifetime where, more often than not, at least one version of “you” does co-create the life with Essence and fulfill the task. Essence will never impose its vision upon the Personality beyond the original motivation and design.

     

    Most Personalities can determine their Life Task quite easily because it is more often than not something they already do. The Life Task is a primary consideration in the design of Personality, so whether one experiences the fulfillment of that task, or merely develops fruitless habits and patterns, the clues would still be there.

     

    If one is not already doing something related to the Life Task, then clues are usually found in what one WISHES one were doing.

     

    It is valid that the 4th Internal Monad is usually the stage within the life when a fragment truly questions the alignment of self with soul, or life with essence, or path with presence, depending on the spirituality of the individual. There are 7 stages to the process of fulfilling the Life Task and they correspond to the 7 stages within the 4th Internal Monad.

      Ladislaus: Hello Michael. I would like to ask about the relationship of Greed Chief Feature to Self-destruction CF. How the first relates to the second, and what one can do if the energy turns pitch black and suicidal. That was my question.
       
      MEntity:  Greed and Self-Destructions are methods of protection against one's fears regarding "having." Greed is enlisted as a means for protection against the fear of lack, while Self-destruction can be developed as a protection against the fear that the life is actually being wasted, that one is not even worthy of the life force that animates the self.
       
      Greed will seek to compensate for the lack by obtaining more and more, and will tend to fixate upon something that represents the potential for satisfying that lack.
       
      Self-destruction will seek to compensate for the sense of waste by constantly striving to earn the worth of having anything at all.
       
      Greed says that I am worth more than this. Self-destruction says I am not worth this (or this is not worth it).
       
      Ladislaus: Slightly paradoxical.
       
      MEntity:  There are many degrees of manifestation of these Chief Features, and they range from the most literal and obvious to the most subtle and insidious, as with any Chief Feature.
       
      When one is consumed by the self-protection of Self-Destruction, there are two ways that can help to move through that "black and suicidal" state:
       
      One is to utilize the Positive Pole of the partner Chief Feature of Greed, which is to say that one would focus somewhere, somehow, on something for which one has an appetite. Anything. A great tasting food. A beautiful sky. A television show.
       
      Positive Poles of Chief Features are never "positive" in the sense that Overleaves have positive poles.
       
      This is because the Positive Poles of Overleaves describe a difference between an inclusive state versus an exclusive state. In Chief Features, the "positive" pole is relative because it is more inclusive, but it is still a state of division, defense, and separation.
       
      Using the positive pole of the partner Chief Feature of Greed, which is APPETITE, can bring one back into a state of participation.
       
      And this can help to serve the second suggestion we have, which is to WAIT.
       
      When one is in a "black and suicidal" state, the only option is to wait. It will pass. It WILL pass. It may return again and again, but it will pass. And it is not a conclusive state.
       
      Nothing is.
       
      This is a "heavy" topic that can be further explored, but we think these are insights and suggestions that can be helpful, especially if taken in while not consumed by the Chief Feature, and then called upon.
       
      If there is nothing more that one can do when in that state, repeat: WAIT, JUST WAIT. And do so.
       
      GreenLyon: Hello Michael. I am very interested in the Fragment in Siberia known as Vissarion ( and his following). I have a feeling that in this case " there is more than meets the eye". I'd like your brief take on his chosen path and philosophy. Is he a transcendental soul? thanks.
       
      MEntity:  The fragment in question appears to be a charismatic Early Mature Priest-Cast Sage with a means of packaging delusions so that they are fairly useful, attractive, and generally harmless.
       
      He is not a Transcendental Soul.
       
      We refer to his Idealism as "delusion" here, only in the sense of its claims and conclusions. The idealism, itself, is as most idealism: a perspective that seeks to improve upon that which can be improved upon.
       
      When Idealism cannot be fulfilled, it can turn into Naivete, and either bring about failings or even disastrous consequences, or be repackaged in delusions that can help to sell the ideals.
       
      GreenLyon: hmm alright. so his claims for being enlightened rebirth of jesus are part of the charismatic idealist package? hmm
       
      MEntity:  It plays upon the narrative of persecution, as well, for those who would refute his claims are clearly in denial, or not capable of recognizing the truth of this return.
       
      GreenLyon: haha this brings to focus my own naivete, as i almost/did believed him myself. this brings a lot for me to reflect on.
       
      MEntity:  Of the many who have made this claim, this fragment appears to be fairly harmless, with "good" intentions.
       
      We remind you that your capacity to choose, to believe, and discern is one that you must cultivate, yourself, and consider our input one of many, and not the definitive answer.
       
      We share with you our perspective, and this will always only ever be another version of the truth, even if seen from a higher, clearer, more informed position; it is still only a version.

      Diane_HB: Michael, a lot of us in our 20s and 30s have had or are having trouble figuring out careers that are right for us. What suggestions do you have for how to go about choosing a satisfying career path?
       
      MEntity:  It is always advisable to explore career options from two different angles: that of experience, and that of experiments.
       
      Experience gives you information based on your hobbies, inclinations, interests, fascinations, and all that those bring to you.
       
      Experiments include the obvious exploration of the unknown, either intentionally or unintentionally, but also includes giving a chance to various positions of work or study that are available and accessible that may not have been given a chance.
       
      The "Do what you love and the money will follow" is not always true, as many will attest. There must be an audience, a market, a demographic, a need, even if these are created by you, yourself, as part of a launch or nurturing of a career.
       
      Along the way of working with Experience and Experimentation, regardless of one's age, it is important to keep in mind that there will most likely be pressure to draw an income or sustain independence in some way while figuring out what one wishes to do.
       
      Doing what one must do, is not the same thing as doing what one will do.
       
      Though there are many ways to dispute, delineate, or deny this, there will always tend to be only the 7 broad categories of pursuit for careers as described by the Roles:
       
      CREATIVE, COMMUNICATION, GUIDANCE, HEALING, LEADERSHIP, LAW, and RESEARCH
       
      There are many combinations of these things, of course, and subcategories, but from this simplified breakdown, one can begin to help oneself discern a direction.
       
      Diane_HB: Leadership = Warrior and Law = King? or vice versa?
       
      MEntity: These may or may not correspond to one's Role (or Casting,) as there will always be imprinting, accessibility, need, etc.
       
      Artisan/Sage, Priest/Server, King/Warrior, Scholar
       
      Because the career of an individual, or source of income, is relative to Personality, using one's Overleaves as they fall on any dominant Axis or Axes can help more than one's Role.
       
      This is a good start for helping one with this process, though there can be more discussed on this subject, or more help on individual bases.

      carolynbe: Hi Troy/Michaels, I would like to know more about Mary Magdalene. Any information that you would consider important that would pertain more to our current paradigm. I am particularly interested in her role/connection with Jesus, how they worked/supported each other. Thanks
       
      MEntity:  Though an individual will manifest the Infinite Soul, it is still a fragment, an individual fragment, who acts as the conduit for that manifestation. The life of the individual is not forced or formed by that Infinite Soul, but the choices, realizations, and actions of that fragment help to create the point necessary for the Manifestation. Those choices, realizations, and actions are certainly informed by a definite thread of awareness "direct" from Tao.
       
      However, the fragment incarnating is still Human, at least in this case.
       
      In most Manifestations of Infinite Soul, there is the necessity for the complete Support Circle of that fragment to be intact, active, and available, as well as (at least) one fragment who will act as "the savior" for that individual.
       
      The fragment known as "Mary" was the Anchor Position in the King's Support Circle, and was this individual Personality's "savior."
       
      There must be that one person who fully grasps and allows for the utter despair, fear, and confusion, as well as the profound bliss, wisdom, and enlightenment as it is experienced by that Human and individual Sentient hosting.
       
      Mary was that fragment for this King.
       
      The spectrum between "darkness and light" was allowed with her, and she presented to him the acts of permanent forgiveness, tranquility, redemption, and agape that was not found in any other relationship.
       
      For every Manifestation of the Infinite Soul, there is a "Mary."
       
      After the recovery from the Manifestation, these fragments went on to form a union and to live out a rather peaceful life in sanctuary, raising children.
       
      Maureen: Michael, I have the following question, and if it is quick (for you), was Mary Magdalene the Essence Twin of Jesus?
       
      MEntity:  Yes. That is correct.
       
      ViP: hello Michael, I'd like to ask, regarding making choices, how to distinguish between choosing from Essence, vs choosing the path of least resistance.
       
      MEntity:  That would be difficult, as they are often the same thing.
       
      However, it may be helpful to think more in terms of choosing AS Essence the path of most desirable flow. We say this because one never has to choose *between* Essence and a path of least resistance, and while one may choose the path of the most desirable flow, it will not necessarily be a path of no resistance.
       
      Choosing AS Essence simply means making the choices that appeal to you while grasping the greater impact of those choices to the best that one can grasp that. Choosing the path of greatest desire simply means creating a path by listening to one's quiet impulses, questioning the more demanding compulsions, and trusting yourself along the way.
       
      ViP: what if the lack of resistance itself is what causes the appeal
       
      MEntity:  These paths are not so definitive as "Essence" vs "path of least resistance," but we can say that as one begins to make choices AS Essence, the level of resistance in the life tends to reduce. By resistance here, we do not refer to the level of challenges, effort, or obstacles, but to one's resistance, one's experience of pain, suffering, etc.
       
      There is a difference between "path of least effort" and "path of least resistance." Water cannot be faulted for its flow. Essence and Personality cannot be, either. It is natural. It is gravity. The path of least resistance, however, is not always the path of choice, and the path of least resistance is not always the path of least effort.
       
      Mountains are divided by the natural flow of water and its meeting with resistance, even as it follows its path of least resistance.
       
      However, water is always flowing toward the larger body, and it will cut through mountains to do so, and this is also how Essence functions. With that in mind, it can be helpful to consider asking which is the path of least movement vs the path of fulfillment.
       
      Which path seems to be moving you toward something greater, and which path seems to distance you further from that.
       
      "Something greater" can be defined by you.
       
      If you do not know of something greater, or if you have no inclination to flow, move, make an effort, or act on desires, then it can be helpful to LET yourself simply sit there in that, be with it, until you are done with it.
       
      Letting yourself be with that can often be the very state one requires so that one can fill again to a point where the flow returns.
       
      To help one determine how well one is choosing AS Essence, one need only look to one's relationship with Choice.
       
      If you refuse the practice of choice, then you refuse Essence. If you embrace the responsibility, effort, and capacity for choice, you tend toward navigation as Essence.
       
      From there, the resistance or flow of the path is fairly moot.
       
      Maureen: Michael, following on Janet’s question about C2E6 being a Resource Beacon, how would you describe Cadre 1 Entity 5 as a Beacon or an “open invitation …that allows for specific benefit to others”?
       
      MEntity:  Cadre One, Entity Five tends to act as a Communication and a Guidance Beacon, but actively covers all Beacons to some degree.
       
      The others are covered to such a great degree that Communication and Guidance are only technically more pronounced <within C1E5>.

      MEntity:
      Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin.
       
      We will discuss with you the concept of "reality" and what this means to you, personally.
       
      In the broadest sense of the term, "reality" is a term that describes one's experience. Much of what happens, when it happens, etc. is of little relevance to what you think, feel, and do with what happens and when.
       
      We have spoken with some length about the 9 Realities and how these are navigated and shared. We will not revisit that material as an overview, except where relevant. But we can suggest that a personal review of that material would help to add some depth to what we discuss today.
       
      When we shared that information, we shared it more as a map than as something specific to an individual. Today we will work with each of you to get a better sense of your personal reality and what it means to have that personal reality.
       
      As our first relevant reference to the original material, we will say that each of you exist within and as a Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual Reality.
       
      While incarnating, the most persistently-shared of Realities is the Physical.
       
      If you are sharing the same space, you are sharing the same Physical Reality. No one is NOT sharing in the same Physical Reality if you can see that person, hear him or her, or have other sensory input from that individual.
       
      Spiritual Reality is the synthesis of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Realities.
       
      If you exist, you share in a Spiritual Reality with everyone else who exists.
       
      So this densest of Realities and least-dense of Realities are in many ways a Yin/Yang in the universe, or "two sides of the same coin."
       
      At your densest, you share reality with everyone. At your least-dense, you share reality with everyone.
       
      No matter how much you wish not to share the Physical Plane with some of your fellow Humans, you do, and you must contend with them.
       
      No matter how much you may wish not to be evolving toward the same direction alongside those sharing in Sentience, you are intrinsically a part of that collective, and you must contend with that.
       
      However, your Emotional and Intellectual Realities are of the most personal, unique, and differentiated of "spaces" that you own as individual fragments.
       
      And so by "Personal Reality" we refer to your Emotional and Intellectual Realities.
       
      You can be in the same room with 200 other fragments and you cannot NOT share in that Physical Reality. But you can have the most unique, personal, and differentiated emotions and thoughts while in that shared space.
       
      Your Emotional and Intellectual Realities shape most of what you collect as what you consider "experiences." What you feel and think about everything shapes its value to you.
       
      Throughout most of life, and for most who are alive, imprinting teaches that an individual is at the mercy of his or her feelings and thoughts. "I was just raised this way." or "That's how I was taught." or "You can't change how you feel." etc.
       
      Most imprinting within cultures come from Young and Baby Soul mindsets that tell you that you are not in control of your emotions and thoughts, because as long as you do not have control over your own emotions and thoughts, you are much easier to control.
       
      This is far from the truth, of course, and each of you are completely in control of your emotions and intellect.
       
      Or, at least, have the capacity to control these.
       
      Much of what has been described as "creating one's reality" is based on this truth.
       
      You always have a choice in how you feel and think.
       
      Even when there are chemical imbalances and disorders, there is choice.
       
      In much the same way that a legless man can eventually run a race, or wheel a race, or play basketball, or create art, etc. so can those with chemical imbalances and disorders work to expand on possibilities.
       
      Physical obstacles are valid, and they do have effect, and they do change the degree of difficulty for the individual, but there are degrees of obstacles and successes and inherent strengths in nearly every aspect of life.
       
      But your Personal Reality is shaped by how you think and feel about everything, including how you think and feel about how you think and feel.
       
      Choice is key here. Choice is either active or passive. You either create reality or allow it.
       
      Both are valid forms of choice.
       
      For instance, when you may wish to "put on a brave face" if you are starting a new job and need to focus on your skills and contributions. This may not remove your anxiety, but it helps, and your choice makes a difference. This is an active/creative choice. But if you are hit by a loss or upsetting news, you may feel sad and fall into grief. You may let yourself do this, and this is healthy.
       
      This would be an example of a more passive/allowance. You know you must process something, and you allow for that process.
       
      Because most of you were imprinted with the idea that you are controlled by your emotions and thoughts, or at least that you cannot legitimately change or transform these in an instant, you develop what we will refer to as "triggers."
       
      How often one is triggered can be an indication for how asleep one is. However, this may not be an overall indication, but may be clear that one is asleep in one part of the life, and quite awake in another part of the life.
       
      If you are triggered into reactionary states that are not specific to the necessity for survival, you are asleep to some extent.
       
      So, in terms of your Personal Reality and your capacity to choose how you think and feel, you are, to some degree either more asleep or more awake in the life.
       
      What we will share today is a way for you to see where you are in that range between being asleep and being awake.
       
      This range is cyclical in its process, in that for say, the deepest of sleep has its deeper sleep and then its own version of waking up, before moving into the next range of wakefulness, which will have its own deeper sleep and waking up, and so on. These are no different from the Polarities we speak of in much of our teaching, and how those work.
       
      The reason we are emphasizing your focus on the range between being asleep and being awake is because the more awake one is, the more one can choose one's emotions and thoughts in a way that creates reality to a higher level of fulfillment for you.
       
      This range of sleep to waking is relative to Soul Age, so while this map can be applied to each Soul Age, an Infant Soul can be "totally awake," but within the context of that Soul Age, which means that a "totally awake" Old Soul will look very different.
       
      Each of these states will be familiar to most of you, and will have been experienced in some form or another throughout the life. Each state will have its set of triggers so in considering your triggers, you can see not only which state of wakefulness you may be in, but how asleep you are within that state.
       
      Within the format here, we will emphasize wording to be more relevant to the older soul, but if the subject is of interest for further elaboration, we may word things differently to describe the states for Infant, Baby, and Young.
       
      We can do that in another exchange with you.
       
      7 Points of Sleeping/Waking
       
      We will use a bit of geometry to help describe these 7 States of Sleeping/Waking.
       
      Imagine the most asleep one can be as represented by a POINT.
       
      We will build from there.
       
      As a single point of consciousness, the sleep is defined by self-preservation.
       
      The triggers usually dealt with here are all about THREATS.
       
      Whether real or imagined, Threats will trigger the person who is experiencing himself or herself as a single point of consciousness.
       
      The reactions will be all about self-preservation.
       
      This person will not wake up until he or she feels safe, or that he or she will SURVIVE.
       
      Keep in mind that no matter how awake a person is, he or she can be knocked into a sleep of self-preservation as a means of aiming for survival against threat. This can come when there is a terminal illness or an environmental catastrophe or car accident, etc.
       
      You are reduced to a point of consciousness that only seeks to survive.
       
      So as we speak to you of these states and triggers, keep in mind that you will never be sustaining wakefulness in only one state. You will move about the map of wakefulness and sleep. But understanding this map can help you to make more conscious choices toward wakefulness.
       
      So the person who has been reduced to a point of consciousness can help himself or herself toward wakefulness by either choosing to trust, or creating a sense of safety and comfort.
       
      This person's personal reality can shift from feeling and thinking that experiences are only threats, to thinking and feeling that the experiences can be of use in some future.
       
      And this moves the state into what we will refer to as a LINEAR STATE.
       
      The Linear State is self-conscious.
       
      This state is all about how one is contributing, what one is contributing, and the value that one is to life.
       
      Triggers for this state are time and the future.
       
      Fragments in this state shape their personal reality by aiming for the future and being sensitive to how time is used.
       
      The more one is triggered by the passing of time and worry for the future, the more likely one is asleep here.
       
      The more one consciously creates meaning from the moment, the more one creates a future to one's liking.
       
      The more one creates meaning in the moment, the more one moves toward the next state of wakefulness, which is all about having.
       
      We will refer to this third state as a TRIANGULAR STATE.
       
      The Triangular State is one of self-permission.
       
      This state is all about the self-permission to pursue goals, to aim higher, to have what one desires, to allow pleasure, to have fun, etc.
       
      Triggers for this state are anything competitive, anyone interfering or imposing restrictions, or even shaming or guilting one for his or her ambitions.
       
      Or lack thereof.
       
      The person who is asleep here tends to be pushy, provocative, deceitful, opportunistic, etc.
       
      As the person awakes here, there is a sense of choice in the matter of how one feels and thinks as one pursues desires. Having is not about taking, but about sharing, and this helps to move that person into the next state of wakefulness.
       
      This state is the first state that begins to consider one's part in a collective consciousness.
       
      This state would be the SQUARE STATE.
       
      This Square State is a state of collective harmony.
       
      This is a state that aims for stabilization, solutions, problem-solving, and networking.
       
      Triggers for this state are anything chaotic, out of order, discordant, challenging to the senses.
       
      The more asleep one is here, the more one wishes to ignore differences, impose political correctness, ignore "the news," ignore politics, remove oneself from conflict or debate, etc.
       
      The more one is asleep here, the more one wishes to presume that everyone should just get along at all cost, and to ensure a false stability.
       
      As one awakens here, one begins to cherish differences and to celebrate those, enjoying debate as a means of gaining knowledge and insight. The Personality Reality is experienced as expanding because of these differences, even if wrought from conflict or debate, which leads to the next state of wakefulness.
       
      We will refer to this next state as a CONICAL STATE.
       
      The conical state is an emphasis on Collective Awareness.
       
      Or being aware of each other, not just in terms of differences, but in terms of those differences being vital tools for teaching and learning.
       
      Differences are then owned and shared freely as a means of invitation, teaching, and sharing.
       
      Triggers for this state are any forms of inconsideration or dismissal of boundaries.
       
      Many of our students sustain wakefulness in the square and conical states, with their personal realities entirely shaped by how differences are experienced, both in terms of triggers and the aim for more conscious choice in the matters.
       
      The more one consciously owns his or her differences and allows these to be models of invitation for others to learn from, and embraces the differences of others as invitations to learn, even if these come in the form of "stupidity," inconsideration, or crossing of boundaries, it is the learning that will matter here, and this will help one to move into the next state.
       
      This next state is what we will describe as a SPIRAL STATE.
       
      This state is all about collective evolution.
       
      This state recognizes that we are all in this together, and that all parts contribute to the whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Every element of reality, whether your own or of others, is contributing to the trajectory of evolution, however meandering, slow, or accelerated.
       
      Triggers for this state are indifference and resignation.
       
      If one is asleep here, then apathy, indifference, and resignation can "set this person off" in an instant, hating humanity and humans for not participating collectively and actively toward a common evolution.
       
      A large group of our students sustain wakefulness here to a great degree.
       
      The more one wakes up here, the more one begins to see all realities as contributing to the evolution of humanity, and that one reality is not better than another, just different. It is not indifference to recognize this. This can be difficult to sustain in wakefulness because it feels like permission and condoning for fragments to be ever asleep.
       
      But the more one can practice this allowance for differences, not just in culture, race, religions, sexualities, or other tangibilities, but in terms of perception, beliefs, feelings, thoughts, ideas, insights, etc., then the more one begins to wake up into the final state:
       
      The SPHERICAL STATE.
       
      We will refer to this as a "final" state because if one can sustain any wakefulness here, it is inherently inclusive of all other states. It has no sleep. It is utterly awake. It is at peace. It is wholeness. It is no longer triggered.
       
      We have very few students who can sustain this state.
       
      GeraldineB: A coma would seem to help for that state
       
      MEntity:
      Some who are asleep in the Square State may think he or she is here, but is often simply denying or avoiding chaos and conflicts as a means to pretend to be awake.
       
      Geraldine, your humor is not lost on us.
       
      So before we conclude today, we will pose these questions to each of you:
       
      ONE) on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being completely lacking control, how much choice do you feel you have in your range of emotions and thoughts?
       
      TWO) in which state do you feel you are most awake, and in which state do you feel you are most triggered? Are they the same?
       
      You do not have to answer here, but can think about this and answer where this transcript will post.
       
      For all of you here, we can offer up to each of you that you are not without triggers, you are not fully awake, nor are you utterly asleep.
       
      Janet: Are the answers to TWO likely to be states that are next to each other on the scale you provided? Or not necessarily?

      It is important to note that the aim is not for you to wake up, but that waking up is a natural process that occurs the more one owns responsibility for personal reality.
       
      Janet, not necessarily, but often.
       
      There may be elements of the life where one state is dominant, while the rest of the life is at a different state overall.
       
      Janet: I see that certainly. Thank you.
       
      GeraldineB: I see a lot of parallels between FEAR and Sleeping/Waking -- is this another way of describing how fear functions?
       
      MEntity: Oh, of course. When fear is utilized as information, sleep is not necessarily in effect, but if fear is reactionary and habitual, sleep is synonymous here.
       
      GeraldineB: I suppose I "should" have tied it to the triggers
       
      MEntity:
      Yes.
       
      Triggers described here are directly related to fears.
       
      But, again, if used as information for how one can make a more wakeful choice, then it can immediately transmutate.
       
      To conclude for today, we will say that each of you are a walking set of realities from the most-shared to the most exclusive. Your most-exclusive realities are your personal reality, and you have full control over these, based on your willingness to make choices both passively and actively, creatively or with allowance. The more you recognize your triggers and associate these to a state of wakefulness, the more easily you can shift your personal reality into a state of fulfillment over a state of defense.
       
      Bobby: So you're not going to tell us who of your students has reached the sphere state then, right? I had to ask 😉
       
      MEntity: We may no longer share in your Physical Reality, but we will always share in your Spiritual Reality, and this how our friendships with you can continue.

      For those who have reached a Spherical State, it cannot be sustained. It is experienced for stretches of time, but like Love, allows for a full range of experience. Each of you here have reached this at one point in your life, and many of our students have, but very few can sustain it. Those who do so can sustain it for one day to maybe a week before fluctuating. The key effect of this state is that when one falls back into another state, that state is not seen as conclusive or that one is trapped there. One now knows there is more, and allows the current state to be fully alive. That is the nature of the sleeping/waking cycle. None of you can stay awake for long in any literal sense without harming the self, and this is true in a more metaphysical sense, as well. Embrace your sleep as part of your wholeness and the Spherical State becomes easier and easier to access.

      Internal Monads
       
      [MEntity]
      Hello to each of you. We are here. We can begin now.
       
      We have been asked to speak about the processes we have named “The 7 Internal Monads.” We can define “Monad” in many ways, but here we will describe it as “the natural process toward wholeness,” or “the structure provided for two parts of a whole to eventually manifest even greater than the sum of those parts.” A Monad will always have two parts that are vital to the whole, but are eventually resolved, or comprehended, so that those two parts ARE the whole, and not divided.
       
      There are Internal and External Monads: the External Monads are variations on relationships between fragments; whereas Internal Monads are variations on relationships with the self, or within the self. These Monads are ALWAYS about “manifesting,” or generating a material counterpart as representation for that structure, process, and eventual wholeness. The External Monads are obvious in that they deal with the space and time between two incarnated fragments, but the Internal Monads are not often understood as having physical/manifested counterparts or representations, because they are often more abstract. However, these Internal Monads’ physical/manifested counterparts are THE LIFE, ITSELF. As we describe each Monad, this may become more clarified and obvious.
       
      The 7 Internal Monads are processed and manifested by the Personalities across lifetimes, and these processes and manifestations then contribute to the higher processes of the Essence that must complete a set of 7 Internal Monads for each Level of each Soul Age. In every lifetime, the Personality starts “from scratch” in initiating and taking on these Internal Monads, but the Essence retains the benefit of each Personality’s effort and does not have to start from scratch. Therefore, in any given lifetime, the Essence may be at the 4th Internal Monad, while the current Personality is in the 3rd Internal Monad, for instance. If that same Personality progresses to successfully process the 5th Internal Monad, then it progresses the Essence closer to completion of that particular Soul Level. If it helps one to differentiate between the Essence process of these, and the Personality process, it could be said that the Essence integrates Internal Monads, and the Personality contributes to that by processing as many of the 7 “Rites of Passages” as possible within a lifetime. “Internal Monads” and “Rites of Passages” are rather interchangeable here, but to make it easier to understand, this differentiation may help.
       
      It is rare that any Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads, or Rites of Passages within one lifetime. Even if a Personality lives to 80 years old, he or she may still have not completed any Rite of Passage beyond the 2nd, or 3rd, for instance. Using a very simple analogy: Imagine that the successful completion of a Rite of Passage is akin to a Personality filling a basket for Essence. Let us use Oranges as that which must fill the baskets. Personality One within a Soul Age Level will begin the process by fulfilling the First Rite of Passage in being successfully born. This fills the first basket of oranges for Essence. Personality One is also able to process Rite of Passages Two and Three, filling two more baskets with Oranges collected. Personality One takes on the beginning of the Fourth Rite of Passage and begins putting Oranges in the basket for Essence, but never really gets past this Rite of Passage, even though she lives to 90. She will remain locked in a mindset, behavior dynamic, and local perspective that is akin to having never evolved beyond a 30-something year old, despite her physical age.
       
      Personality One dies, and Essence now moves that row of baskets out of the way, sets up a new row of baskets for Personality Two, and Personality Two now begins his or her process of gathering Oranges for those baskets. Even though the new Personality must start from scratch in filling the baskets, it is easier now that there is precedence and experience that the new Personality would have access to, if open to Essence. In short, there must be AT LEAST one Personality/incarnation that can fill all the baskets successfully within one lifetime as a means to move Essence on to the next Level of Soul Age.
       
      In some rare instances when an Essence moves from one Soul Age Level into the next Level within the same lifetime, then that Personality not only filled the baskets enough to allow for Essence to move to the next Level, but now that there is a new Level, the Personality actually starts again from scratch in filling the baskets relevant to that new Level. This is similar to living “two lifetimes in one.” We say that it is similar, but it is not literal, though often it actually does appear to be a distinct line that defines that transition and then the lifetime seems to be divided into two very different lives. When this happens, the Personality will go through a kind of psycho-emotional “death” as its completion of 7 Internal Monads, and then a kind of psycho-emotional “birth” as it begins the next Level.
       
      There are 7 Rites of Passages/Internal Monads, and we will briefly describe each now. Each Internal Monad has 7 Stages within it. Each Stage has a Positive and Negative Pole. Every process through an Internal Monad will mean entering the Negative Pole, then exiting from the Positive Pole for each Stage. This means that a “successful” Internal Monad would be completing the 7th Stage in the Positive Pole, leaving the entire Monad in the Positive Pole. In keeping with the baskets of oranges analogy, a Negative Pole would simply be an unfilled basket.
       
      The 7 Internal Monads are: Birth, Autonomy, Independence, Manifestation, Recreation, Comprehension, and Death.
       
      These may be called by different names through our various channels, but the basic information should remain consistent. Although each Rite of Passage is associated with various time frames represented by the ages of the Body, they are not specifically tied to those time frames. Different cultures and different societies and different Body Types will affect how the process of these Passages go. For certain cultures where life spans are only 20 years, vs other cultures where a lifespan may be 100 years, one can see how the Monads may play out differently. Those cultures and societies where life is more condensed tend to attract those who are working through Infant, Baby, and Young Levels, whereas Late Young, Mature and Older Souls tend toward cultures, societies, and bodies that emphasize length of life. We include in these differentiations the reference to “society” because social constructs, even within the same culture, may emphasize life at different paces, and thus have different time frames relative to the Passages.
       
      That being said, in general: Birth is obviously at Birth, where Autonomy is usually relative to the individual taking his or her first steps, and Independence is relative to an individual separating his or her identity and primary resources from the influences of his or her caretakers (parents); Manifestation is relative to an individual returning to a sense of innocence and personal meaning about the self and life; Recreation is relative to an individual freeing himself or herself from the momentum of “purpose” and shifts into an emphasis on “enjoying life,” or re-creating it; Comprehension is relative to the onset of whatever will end the life, and the individual’s ability to come to terms with his or her mortality; and Death, of course, is exiting the Physical Plane.
       
      Many of our students presume that Birth and Death are Internal Monads that are a given, but that is not accurate. The successful completion of Birth is indicated by “staying alive.” For the most part, this is marked by good health. If a body dies before the age of 3, it did not successfully complete the Birth Monad. The successful completion of Death is indicated by the impact one’s death has on those who remain physical. If those who remain are left devastated, deeply attached, and profoundly tied to the physical version of oneself, then one has not successfully “died.” The death, itself, is only the beginning, and the stages involved are done post-death, by working with those still incarnated in processing their grief.
       
      Completing all 7 Rites of Passage within a single lifetime takes practice, effort, and commitment to an extent that is often not available or an inclination of every Personality, so an Essence will remain within a single Level of Soul Age as long as it takes. Within a lifetime where the Personality does not complete an early Rite of Passage, such as, say, the 3rd Internal Monad of Independence, it means that this person has left that Internal Monad paused in the Negative Pole, and every Internal Monad attempted beyond that will be locked in the Negative Pole, as well. Using the baskets of oranges as an analogy, it would mean that no matter how hard that Personality tries to fill baskets 4, 5, and 6, they will only be able to fill them to the extent that basket 3 is filled. In cases such as this, which are not uncommon, it is possible to “go back” and fill the unfilled basket, or to complete the 3rd Internal Monad, freeing up the capacity to complete the next. This would mean, even if the Personality is in her 50s, that she can work through her issues related to Independence, self-reliance, and her relationships with Authority, as a means to then work on her 4th Internal Monad, and so on. In short, it is a valid and relevant statement that “it is never too late to have a happy childhood,” as an example for completing incomplete Passages.
       
      We wish to point out here that while our teaching can be understood and made useful at any age, it is not until the successful completion of the 4th Internal Monad that the full extent of its application can be comprehended. This is why you see so few fellow students among you, or even that you see so few interested in our teaching, in general; it is simply not very interesting or truly applicable to those who “do not know themselves.” This is not a judgment, but a matter of fact. For this teaching to have its full effect, one must be awake, and most who have not completed the 4th Internal Monad are still in some degree, if not completely, asleep. By “asleep” and “awake,” we simply mean the spectrum between self-absorption and self-awareness. Self-absorption, or being asleep, is marked by a preoccupation with the self, such as through defensiveness, self-indulgence, presentation, brooding, consuming, etc. And self-awareness, or being awake, is marked by, for example, valued sensitivity, right intuition, concentric compassion, enthusiastic curiosity, a kind presence, patient resonance to others, and no defenses or shields. Those are examples, but there are others, of course.
       
      We have covered Birth and Death in terms of successful or unsuccessful completion, and we will now quickly describe the other 5 Internal Monads in terms of the same.
       
      The 2nd Rite of Passage, which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility.
       
      The 3rd Rite of Passage, which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself.
       
      The 4th Internal Monad, or Rite of Passage, which is Manifestation, is initiated by one’s mid-life assessment as a means to determine the meaning of the life lived so far, and then calibrating the life to an updated course or path so that Essence may manifest. Part of that process and assessment means looking into the past as far back as childhood, and in that looking, finding all of the things that you determined have defined you, made you happy, that have fulfilled you as a child or teen, and then nurturing that same innocence in your life as an adult. A successful completion means truly liking who you are, and embracing the playfulness of your life as you move deeper into it as an embodiment of your Essence, or core Being. An incompleted 4th Internal Monad is often marked by an attempt to replicate the life that was once seen as so innocent, locking the person into a state that desperately seeks meaning, importance, and purpose.
       
      The 5th Internal Monad of Recreation is marked by a realization of relief from the need for purpose, meaning, and importance, but finds the emphasis being upon those little things that make the life worth living (on your terms). The life is literally “re-created” in a way that is a new paradigm, free from the burdens of navigation and direction, but entirely embracing of wandering, coasting, and “enjoying the view,” so to speak. The successful completion would often show up as a new enthusiasm for a layer of life that was once cluttered and clouded by over-eagerness and over-anticipation. There is a softness to the life in a way that was never experienced before, and a true joy in many things that would otherwise be dismissed. An incompleted 5th Rite of Passage might show up as bitterness, regret, anger, resentment, and disgust, sometimes concluding that life has no meaning or point, and therefore condemning anyone or anything to pointlessness and meaninglessness.
       
      And finally, the 6th Rite of Passage, Comprehension, is marked by the onset of that which will be the cause of death. This is the only Rite of Passage that can most-often be processed in a matter of seconds. A successful completion would show up as a surrender to the reality of mortality, and a full review of the life in a way that brings comprehension to the fact that one has lived and one is now dying. This can happen in a car crash, or in a long-term illness, etc. Time takes on a completely new dimension in this Passage. The incomplete Internal Monad here would show up as anything representing a rejection of mortality, ranging between resignation, apathy, to delusion, dementia, and denial. In instances such as a car crash, the individual may actually “re-live” the entire life in new ways that account for corrections of betrayals, missed opportunities, etc. before actually exiting. That experience can be a means of review, or as a means of denial.
       
      We will conclude here, then, in speaking about the 7 Internal Monads, and open the floor to the first 5 questions, due to time constraints.

      [Geraldine] Michael. I still don’t understand how the “two lifetimes in one” works. If a Personality has to go through all 6 IMs in the same incarnation in order to reach the 7th — How does one get all six of those “oranges” in the basket by age 40 in order to do an early 7th? (such as AnnH). Or my son-in-law Brian Fisher who went through this by age 30. Especially since neither one would have been considered “all in positive poles” at those ages. How would one work with “those still incarnated in processing their grief,” if there is no grief? Would one’s concurrents processing IMs help since we all started our incarnations at the same Soul Level?
       
      [MEntity]
      We did not elaborate fully into the “two lifetimes in one”, or the transiting of Soul Levels within a lifetime, because we had elaborated on this in other transcripts. However, we will try to clarify again here. If an Essence has 5 or more baskets full, so to speak, upon creating a new Personality, then that Personality is only tasked with the potential to fill those remaining baskets. However, to get to those baskets 5, 6, and 7, for example, the body and Personality must still fill baskets 1 through 4 in its own way in order to even get to the 5th basket. After baskets 1-4 have been filled multiple times by multiple Personalities over multiple lifetimes, then each subsequent lifetime/Personality has a potentially easier time fulfilling those same baskets.
       
      Although there are physical counterparts to each Monad, which is often associated with age time frames, we have also pointed out that they are not tied to those age time frames. Beyond the factors of culture and society as influences, we can also say that one’s PSYCHOLOGICAL process is just as physical a counterpart as one’s physical aging. Therefore, when one is transiting a Level within a lifetime, that Personality can quickly (by age standards) be Born, Walk, Gain Independence, Manifest Essence, and then begin the Recreation process, all by the end of one’s teen age years. This is because while there are certain physical cues that are tied to the Passages, there are also Psychological cues, and these are just as, if not more, vital than the more obvious Physical cues. This means that rather than having a physical retirement/recreation due to age, it happens due to psyche, and rather than physically dying due to accident, illness, or suicide, there is a psychological “death” that then moves through a “birthing” process. Those who transit a Level within a lifetime are now throwing off the usual cues that one can more obviously see in terms of one “growing up,” so these Personalities can often seem more complicated, difficult, and lacking significant maturing processes that another person might show. They do not necessarily appear to be any wiser or more together than any other, and more often, actually, appear not to be particularly wise, and often quite scattered. This is because the psyche is not only developing at a different pace from the body, but by the time the body is older, then the psyche is reborn again in a way that is quite disorienting. This complex process is why this kind of transition is rare, except in Older Souls. Once the fragment in transition has filled the 7 baskets, then the life is marked with a new set of baskets to begin filling, which are rarely ever filled beyond the 4th basket in those kinds of lifetimes.
       
      [Maureen] What “happens” in between IMs – for example: Having successfully completed the 4th IM – one could whiz into the 5th or take a decade – If it takes a decade is it like being on a plateau or is it a mix between the 2 IMs ??
       
      [MEntity] While one is “in” a Passage, there is a definite sense that there is living to do. When one is “between” Passages, there is a definite sense that there is work to do. We are using the term “living” here to describe the experience of submersion into the life that often feels like being underwater, then coming up for air, over and over. We use the term “work” here to describe the experience of finally being on land and moving your way over territories of relevance and meaning. For instance, during the 3rd Internal Monad, there may be waves of great angst, rebellion, and constant inner turmoil, mixed with homesickness, deep gratitude, and a sense of self emerging as one breaks away from the influences of parents. Upon completion of that Monad, then the business of income, maintaining an apartment, paying bills, etc., then comes into focus. It might be more appealing to describe the differences between being In and Between Monads as “living” and “learning,” as what was lived through the Passage is now put into practice before the next Passage.
       
      [Oscar] Hello Michael. Could you please elaborate a little about how exactly Body Type can affect the process?
       
      [MEntity] Active Body Types, such as Saturnine, Mercurial, Martial, and Solar tend to process Internal Monads “faster” than the Passive Body Types of Lunar, Jovial, and Venusian. The Active/Positive Body Types of Saturn and Solar being the “fastest” while the Passive/Negative of Lunar being the “slowest.” We speak of these in terms of “pure” Body Types, so it is wise to keep in mind that there are no “pure” Body Types, all having a mix of other energies, and influences. The reason for their “speed” of processing a Passage is relative to the Primary Glandular System that regulates experiences for that Body. For instance, the Anterior Pituitary and the Thymus tend to help the body process experiences far more “quickly” than that of the Pancreatic system. This is because the Anterior Pituitary, for instance, is a stimulus for all other glandular systems, and the Thymus regulates the overall health/immunity of all systems, so their being the primary influence is powerful in these Passages. Whereas the Pancreas is insular in its processes, even though they do ultimately affect the entire system. It is that insularity of the process of consumption and production of fuel that contributes to the slower processing of experiences for the body.
       
      [Karine] How can you “predict” when someone will enter a monad? For example, you told me that you think I will begin my 4th internal monad near the end of 2012. Do Essences plan in advance during the course of a life when a personality will enter the next monad?
       
      [MEntity] We can only see the same things that you can see in terms of Passages, though we may be able to see it more clearly. So when we can see a time frame for completion of a Monad, using the analogy of the baskets, we are basing this on how full the basket is, and the pace at which you have been filling it. We can then extrapolate from there. The same could be said for those that are slated to begin. We can look at the previous Passage and the factors that went into entering it, filling the basket, and exiting it, and how much time was spent between other Passages, proportionally speaking. That being said, yes, Essence will anticipate a time frame that “looks good” for entering a Passage, and we can see those notes, if they are there. In the end, whether we use calculations, or the notes in your records from Essence, it will always be the Personality that decides whether and when to enter into a Passage. So we may be very far off in our information in the end.
       
      [Bobby] In your presentation of the 7th IM, there seems to be far more to it than I realized. For instance, I didn’t realize that to transit it in the positive pole, if those left behind grieved terribly over your passing it could keep you from completing it in the positive. I had an aunt who lost a son and never seemed to get over it. Would that be an appropriate example of him finishing his 7th IM in the negative pole? Joey Williams was his name by the way, if that helps.
       
      [MEntity]
      It is not so much in the depth of the grieving, but in the length of time in grieving, and yes, to the extent that one has not helped to prepare loved ones and friends for one’s death, and to the extent that one lacks the ability to comfort those “left behind,” then the 7th Internal Monad is not completed. There will always be at least one lifetime/Personality who dies within a Level in a way that those who remain physical will fully grasp that that Personality had a full life, and that death was embraced without surprise or regret or terror.
       
      Because death is so difficult for even the oldest of souls to experience, it takes only one lifetime for this to happen as a means for the Level to be transitioned. And if one ponders the 7 Passages for a moment, it may become more obvious that one who has moved through each in a Positive Pole, may have generated a life and network of relationships that more easily comes to terms with that death. That is not to say that even the most successful of 7th Internal Monads would leave no one grieving. Grief is natural and important, and is a process of accepting a profound truth that replaces a previous truth. In the case of the fragment you mentioned as an example, we think that fragment is still working on completing that Monad, and remains in the process of support for the one who is grieving. Some fragments choose to remain in that process “as long as it takes.”

      It would be one way to fulfill the Task, yes.

      There is no SPECIFIC route with which a LIFE TASK must be manifested. In fact, what is most misunderstood about a Life Task is that you SEEK it, or PURSUE it. In reality, you already DO it. It comes naturally. Incidentally, you are, in fact, in Agreement with several thousand Essences for a book.
