[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: December 2008]

[Ingun] Kundalini is a word and topic that is attached with so many “pictures” or labels or beliefs for instance coming from the belief that the body is an illusion. I also understand that the Kundalini is a physical energy and can have different effects depending on which chakra or channels in the body it is running through or one intentionally runs it through. I would like Michael to share some information about the Kundalini energy and clear out some misinformation.

[Michael Entity] That is a rather large topic, but we will respond briefly here, and invite further discussion with this as a specific topic at some point.

[Ingun] Yes, some brief information will do well.

    [Michael Entity]
What is called “Kundalini” energy is what we would call Higher Moving Energy; this is the energy that flows to, from, and through the Higher Moving Center and what might be called the Second Chakra/Sacral Chakra. While all Higher Centers are accessible to the Body and Personality, the Higher Moving is the most readily accessible, as it is “rooted deeper” in the Body.

Emphasizing study and consciousness on this particular Energy is Good Work, but is as susceptible to as many misconceptions and misdirections as any other activity for a group or individual. We would simply say that emphasis on this Energy would do well be tempered with awareness of the Higher Emotional and Higher Intellectual Centers/Energies as well.

This Kundalini Energy is just that: Energy. But Energy has both a positive and a negative pole, which could be described as Beauty and Chaos, respectively.

What helps Energy to move toward Beauty are the structures and awareness that are a part of Truth and Love.

In other words, our brief response would be that Energy, Truth, and Love are the building blocks of your Universe, personally and universally, and one cannot be explored without the inclusion of the others.

We have much more to say about this, but will explore this more fully in other discussions.

Excerpt from [Ask Michael: December 2015]

VIP: Does diet have any effect on the ability to access the higher centers, or the ease with which, access to the higher centers can occur? (I understand that the higher moving center is designed to be easy to access as-is, so if it makes no difference with regard to that one, I would like to know about the other two higher centers.).

      [Michael Entity]:
Accessing the Higher Centers is accessible to all under any and all circumstances. They are designed as accessible and functioning regardless of condition of the body or state of consciousness. They must function or the body dies.

However, there is a difference between these Centers functioning in default, and when one consciously begins to access these for use as tools beyond their default.

For most, and for many lifetimes, these Centers are only accessed consciously during extreme conditions, duress, and intense situations.

Profound pain in the body, "heart," or "mind" can open one to these Centers in conscious ways.

Profound pleasure in the body, "heart," and "mind" can open one to these Centers in conscious ways.

Access through extremes of pain or pleasure are forms of intervention in the life, and are not only misunderstood and misinterpreted, but this kind of access can lead to addictions, escapism, fetishes, etc.

Other ways that these Centers are accessed are through Laughter, Tears, and Happiness.

When there is access through these, they can range in degrees of awareness and consciousness, from subconscious to full consciousness.

The reason these Centers are so accessible in so many ways is because there is no interest in a design that withholds higher functioning from any individual based on their choices, behaviors, conditions, health, etc.

With all of this being said, when one begins to seek understanding and use of these Centers in conscious ways, then the degree of conscious use and value can be dependent on several factors that hook into many elements of the life.

In such cases, then diet becomes vital.

We can speak of "diet" in broad terms here to include various ways in which one consumes as a means of "feeding" oneself.

This can be food, relationships, entertainment, exercise, etc.

For example, if one has compartmentalized one's food diet to the point of ignoring the impact it may have on health, other creatures, other people, and the planet, then that compartmentalizing affects how well one can access a Higher Center.

If one is abusive in relationships, or abused, where one's confidence is fed, then one has limitations on his or her conscious use of a Higher Center.

      The equation is rather simple:

The more conscious one is in various areas of the life where one seeks to feed oneself, the greater degree of conscious access one has to the Higher Centers.

      120M Live Session  -  2013.01.24

MEntity:  Hello to you, I. We are here, now. We may begin our exchange with you.

Q: Hello. Please elaborate on the functions of the Moving and Higher Moving Centers, and their 7 Parts

      MEntity:

The Moving and Higher Moving Centers, both, govern the conduction, direction, and form of energies. The Lower Center tends toward the management of Matter, while the Higher Center tends toward the management of the matrix for that matter.

The Moving Center's spectrum is described as functioning between
the Positive Pole of PRODUCTIVE, and the Negative Pole of FRUSTRATIVE.

PRODUCTIVE is meant to describe the result of an action that is intentionally, or unexpectedly, beneficial.
FRUSTRATIVE is meant to describe the results of an action that are not beneficial, despite intention or expectation.

The Higher Moving Center's spectrum is described as functioning between
the Positive Pole of BEAUTY, and the Negative Pole of DESIRE.

BEAUTY is meant to describe the recognition of patterns, and their subsequent benefits and fulfillments.
DESIRE is meant to describe the trust of impulse that generates those patterns.

Lower Centers' Negative Poles can tend to be emphasized as a result of fear, but the Higher Centers' Negative Poles are merely a more focused version of the Positive Pole. They are not affected by fear, but fear can keep one from accessing the Positive Pole of that Higher Center.

Negative Poles are merely a more exclusive part of something being described.

For instance, DESIRE is not "negative" in the sense that it is wrong, but more that while DESIRE is a trust in impulses, it has yet to recognize the patterns that are being generated from those impulses.

BEAUTY, then, is inclusive of Impulses, but knows the BEAUTY of the bigger picture, patterns, and the fulfillment and benefit of those.

Fear cannot squash someone's DESIRES, but can cause them to distrust those DESIRES, turning them into longing and aching, or distorting them, or replacing them with compulsions, rather than impulses.
Keep in mind that we are describing these Centers as experienced from Personality.

The Moving Center manages all energy that moves through the body, which includes the energy generated by the Intellect and the Emotions.
Most tend to presume that Emotions are "feelings," but in technical terms, any "feeling" one has is because of the Moving Center's translation of the energy generated by the Intellect or Emotion.

It is giving form to that energy.
      It is conducting that energy.
The Personality manages the Lower Centers, and Essence manages the Higher Centers.

This means that one always has the choice as to how one "feels" about anything. It is often presumed that one cannot control or choose one's feelings, but that is wholly untrue.

Feelings are no different from any other action conducted by the body.

When one kicks a dog, it is not because his leg betrayed him.
When one feels bad, sad, or angry, it is not because of something that has more control over you than you do.

One can always choose how to direct energy that is flowing through the body.

When one does not choose how to direct energy that is flowing through the body (and the life, by extension), it can lead to Frustration.

When one chooses to manage the energy that flows through the body, and the life, it can lead to Productivity.

Choosing how to manage feelings is not the same thing as denying them, or repressing them.

Managing feelings is no different from the choices that manage any other movement. For instance, if one is in a hurry to get from one destination to the next, one does not have to do so while putting oneself and others in danger. It is not necessary to crash the car. Careful driving, regardless of the necessity for speed, is of utmost importance for reaching the destination, if you will.

And so it is with feelings. One can feel angry, sad, even happy and excited, while not losing the fulfillment of intended and beneficial patterns.

The key is in differentiating between ACTION and REACTION.

Sadness and anger, for instance, can be directed with action, but when sadness or anger are directing you, then you are in reaction.

Allowing one to have any feeling that is generated is important, but keeping those from generated reactions is important if one wishes to maintain the capacity to choose.

Every feeling is information, but they are not the truth.
Feelings are a form of navigation, which is managed, primarily, by the Moving and Higher Moving Centers.

The Moving Center helps one to navigate through the senses, and through feelings generated by those senses.

The Higher Moving Center is used by Essence for navigating larger patterns of incarnations and their matrix.

The more one Manifests Essence, the more one's DESIRE is acted upon, and the more one tends to see the BEAUTY of his or her life, self, and body.

In the same way that Feelings can be managed in healthier ways by discerning between Action and Reaction, one's DESIRES can be managed and directed in healthy, beneficial ways by discerning between Impulses and Compulsions.

Impulses are attractions, magnetic, and inviting, whereas Compulsions are demanding, distracting, and consuming.

Impulses are quieter and more easily ignored because they are inclusive of your capacity to choose. Compulsions are louder and difficult to ignore, often dismissing your capacity to choose.

If one were to manage Feelings and DESIREs by discerning between Reactions/Compulsions vs Actions/Impulses, one would navigate the life with the utmost capacity for benefit and fulfilled intentions.

CENTERS are our way of describing a Personality's "center of gravity." By this we mean that the Personality tends to use that Center as a means for input from the world around him or her, and tends to return to that Center, regardless of the call for the use of any other Center.

PARTS are our way of describing how the input from the Center is then output back into the world.

So if one is Moving Centered, Intellectual Part, he might take in the world through stimulation, senses, feeling, and actions, then organize that input through thoughts, ideas, and expression.

No Center is literally divided into parts. That is merely a description of convenience. Instead, the Center and Part describe the circuit of input/output that is habitual for the Personality. The "part" is merely the output, and is processed through the actual Center that the part describes.

So the Moving Center/Intellectual PART simply means that life is taken in through the Moving Center and then goes back out into the world through the Intellectual Center, itself.

The Personality and Physical Body is only capable of being Centered in a Lower Center and Lower Part, but has full access to the Higher Centers and their Parts throughout the life, both intentionally and through trauma.

The Personality and Body cannot sustain Centering in the Higher Centers as they cannot process that energy for any sustained length of time. This sustained centering in a Higher Center is unnecessary anyway, as they are for the functioning processes of Essence.

Or rather, the ROLE in Essence.

If one thinks of the Essence as having polarities described by the Personality and Role, with the Personality being the more focused and exclusive end of the spectrum of Essence, and the Role being the broader and more inclusive end of the spectrum of Essence, then you may see why the Lower Centers are for Personality to process those denser energies, and the Higher Centers are for the Role to do so.

So the Lower PARTS of the Higher Center are those that of Personality, and the Higher PARTS of a Lower Center are those of Essence/Role.

The Moving Center and its Parts might be described as manifesting in this way, then:

Moving Center/Moving Part – pure stimulation, physical ecstasy, and extreme, consuming, and absolute pain

Moving Center/Intellectual Part – Life is taken in through sensation and feelings and the body, then organized into thoughts, ideas, plans, strategy, and expression.
Act/react First, then Conclude Ideas, Insights, and Reasons from those actions/reactions.

Moving Center/Emotional Part – Life is taken in through sensation and feelings and the body, then used to inspire (provoke) particular interpretations, feelings, and perceptions around him or her.
Act/React First, then conclude what perceptions and sentimentality one wishes to inspire in others/self

Moving Center/Higher Moving Part – Life is taken in through sensation and feelings and the body, then fed directly to Essence and turned over to the greater patterns of the life. Total Trust.

Moving Center/Higher Intellectual Part – Life is taken in through sensation and feelings and the body, then fed directly to Essence for sorting into the levels of Truth. Total Authenticity/Honesty.

Moving Center/Higher Emotional Part – Life is taken in through sensation and feelings and the body, then delivered directly to Essence for greater context. Total Inclusion.

Moving Center/Instinctive Part – navigation based in local experience, imprinting, anticipated and remembered pains and pleasures.

Higher Moving Center/Higher Moving Part – Tao, the spark or pure Essence. Total Resonance.
We must correct a previous statement: Higher Moving/Higher Moving are Physical/Buddhic Bodies.

Higher Moving Center/Higher Intellectual Part – Causal and Mental bodies, communication with Entity and Cadre. Total Truth.

Higher Moving Center/Higher Emotional Part – Astral and Buddhic bodies, processing of inspirational threads and reflections that span from fragmentation to union. Total Clarity.
We must correct a previous statement:  Higher Moving/Higher Emotional are Astral and Messianic Bodies.

Higher Moving Center/Moving Part – manages the health of the Physical Body and its use of energy, fuel, and fulfillment of desires. Impulses are most obvious here, as well as Compulsions.
This is the Part that helps to fulfill Agreements, Karma, and Monads.

Higher Moving Center/Intellectual Part – manages the health of one's clarity in communication, behaviors, and expressions regarding intimacy, honesty, ethics, "morality," and discipline.
This is the Part that helps to activate Agreements, Karma, and Monads.

Higher Moving Center/Emotional Part – manages the health of one's clarity of perception, dreams, aspirations, visions.
This is the Part that helps to magnetize and attract Agreements, Karma, and Monads.

Higher Moving Center/Instinctive Part – navigation based in non-local experience, such as past lives, Essence reviews, unresolved or anticipated Karma, Monads, and Agreements.

These are highly simplistic synopses of the Centers/Parts, but they help to describe the functions and basic emphasis of each combination.
MEntity: Did this cover the whole of the original question, Ingun?
      Q:  yes, I suppose so
MEntity: There will always be more for us to elaborate upon, but this helps to have a starting point for more extrapolation.
MEntity: Good day to you, then, I. We will conclude here.
Q:  good bye and thank you
      MEntity: Goodbye.

      [MEntity]
What we are asked to discuss today is rather vital to the health and well-being of a lifetime of incarnation, and is fairly directly hooked into the capacity for Personality to Manifest Essence for any extended period of time.

For the sake of clarity, we will state here that while Chakras and Centers have resonance that can draw meaningful and relevant correlations, they are not the same system.

Chakras are inherent energy management systems of varying complexities that are formed by bodies as a means to sustain form of some kind, whereas "Centering," in our teachings, while referencing Chakras, describes one's "center of gravity," or how one navigates the physical plane while in the body.

Primary Centering is how one takes in the world around the body, while the Part is how one tends to emit themselves back out into the world.

So while one may have Emotional Centering as a form of navigation, this would not necessarily mean that one has a strong or emphasized Heart Chakra, for instance.

Nor would it mean one has an underused or de-emphasized Heart Chakra.

We point the difference out here because there are Correlations and then there are Resonances between the systems, and they are not consistent with each other.

We will not get into those differences here, but it will be important not to draw tight parallels between the two while exploring both systems, as they are, indeed, different systems.

For today, we discuss the Chakras, and if we draw parallels to the Centers, it would be relevant in that context, but not necessarily in another context.

The Chakras, then, are the connecting portals between Essence and Personality, or the Essence and Bodies.

We speak in plural of the bodies, as there are various layers of the body that vary in density and function, and these bodies are the parts that bring the whole to "life," but each body, or density, could function on its own.

Each body has a different experience of time and space and dimension, and each has a different emphasis of management for what and how to share with Essence, and each may have a different agenda, different wounding, different version of history, etc.

And each body is in charge of fulfilling its own "right."

We are speaking of these bodies as delineated, only for the sake of convenience and comprehension, but they function seamlessly and as a whole. It will not be helpful to think of these as separate, except insofar as it helps you to first grasp this particular topic.

In other words, in much the same way that we could speak to you about how your fingers function as very specific tools as compared to your arms, they do not function without each other, and to focus on one over the other would be pointless.

In order for Essence to experience the various Planes of Existence, there must be bodies.

Essence, alone, has no bodies, no form, no location.

As Essence is FIRST Cast from Tao, its most amorphous "form" is actually something more like a recording device: the Instinctive Center, or what would become the Root Chakra in a Physical Body.

This is because Essence is actually "formed" from the Akashic Plane, which, in itself, is the only "plane" that is not a Plane. There is no incarnation or processing through that "plane," as it is only a memory bank and probability generator.

This Instinctive Center is inherent in ALL that is Cast from Tao, which means that if it is "not" Tao, then it has an Instinctive Center, and if it is on the Physical Plane, no matter what it is, there is a Root Chakra, at the very least.

In terms of Rights, then, this would be the very basic Right To Exist.

Once a portion of energy is Cast from Tao, it is "forever" its own thing.

We know of nothing that has lost that Right, regardless of form, return and exit from Tao, etc.

It would be important, here, to define what we mean by "Rights." We mean the term in much the same way that it is already understood. These Rights are those qualities and states of Being, Having, and Doing that are fully guaranteed, inherent, and due.

Once one is Cast from Tao, these Rights are permanent.

For example, there will never be a "when" that you do not Exist.

It is permanently your Right as Essence.

In much the same way this works for Essence, this Right is inherent in its own creations, as well.

So the Personality is always "born" from the memory bank and probability generating Instinctive Center of Essence, and cast with the very basic Right To Exist.

This means that "you," as you know you, will "never" go away, even when "you" die.

The form may change, the identity may evolve, and the attachments will wane, but the "you" that is you, cannot be undone.

This is why we use the term "fragments" as both a reference to your Essence as a part of its higher contexts, but also in reference to the Personalities that exist as parts of an Essence.

      Essence is a microcosmic Tao.

This Right to Exist translates into the individual Personality as its Right to its memories and its capacity for generating probabilities. In short, its Right to Choose.

The capacity for choice exists in every known form, even if the contexts for choice are relative. The parameters of choice for an atom, a rock, or a chicken are very different from the choices of a Personality.

The parameter of Choice of a Personality is very different from that of Essence, as well.

This does not undermine the capacity for choice, though.

One way of understanding this is to consider the choices necessary for a fighter pilot to make versus those of a housewife, or the difference in parameters of choice for a child in kindergarten versus those of the college graduate. These are not limitations imposed, but simply contextual.

Your Essence must make Choices that a Personality will never have to face.

And Personality must make choices that Essence would never have been able to make on its own.

Grand Cycle after Grand Cycle, lifetime after lifetime, the Instinctive, or Root Chakra, is the only element carried forth, over and over and over.

It becomes multilayered, as each Grand Cycle "stacks" a layer upon a layer so that there is no bleedthrough, and so that there is a fresh layer for recording, but those layers are always accessible by Essence.

All other Chakras are new and relative to the Grand Cycle.

That is because these other Chakras become the means by which the recording of experiences are funneled to the Instinctive.

And those Chakras must be relative to the systems in place for that "universe."

As no universe or Essence can be in existence without inherently owning an Instinctive Center, or Root Chakra, this is the only one that is at the root, if you will, of any existence.

It is a misnomer to describe Essence as "owning" this, as Essence is, essentially, the same thing, but the same could be said of a Personality in relation to Essence; we delineate for purposes of understanding the parts that are the whole.

In the same way that the developing Chakras relative to a Grand Cycle become the funnels for recording experiences to the Instinctive Center, so are Personalities within a specific Sentience funneling experiences to Essence.

The first Chakra, then, that is developed, is that which allows for location.

That would be the Second Chakra, or the Sacral Chakra.

This Chakra is the first form of differentiation within a universe. This is not the same thing as separation. It is the capacity for form within form.

Thus, it is also the Chakra of Creation.

Because this is a Chakra that allows for location and form and creation, it is also the first body that "feels."

Form within Form allows for intimacy, unison, oneness.

We describe the Highest Plane, which inherently has these qualities, as the Buddhic Plane.

This Right is vital for the use of Existence.

It is the capacity for Existence to have location, and to create form.

      Everything "feels," then. Everything.

However, what is often thought of as "feelings" are not the same thing here.

Having the capacity for form within form means being aware of the self in relation to something else.

All matter has that capacity to some degree. We refer to it as Consciousness.

A rock, flea, and chicken have a consciousness just as your Essence does, and "you" do.

The capacity for choice determines the capacity for Consciousness.

A rock has a very different parameter of Choice from a chicken or a Sentient Human, so there are varying degree of Consciousness involved in each.

However, for an Essence to ever move into a Sentient Species, it must evolve though all of those parameters of choice, or degrees of Consciousness, before considering Sentient exploration.

Before doing so, the first "form within form" or creation of Essence is its formation of Entity, Cadre, and Energy Ring, etc.

This is its first experience of location.

And this is done through "feeling."

Every Essence, then, could be said to "feel" its way through the universe to find its Entity Mates, old friends from other Grand Cycles, and the formation of what is the actual "Casting" begins.

"Feeling" here, then, is the inclination toward the organizing of patterns, or the creation of harmony and resonance.

When this is carried into a Physical Lifetime, or a Personality, this Right to Feel translates into your Right to Intimacy, to Creativity, to Pleasure.

The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 6th Chakra, or the Brow Chakra.

This is first time that "Time" begins to be experienced.

It is often said that "time is an illusion," but that is another misleading cliche.

"Time" is simply a term that describes the organizing of experiences.

Time for Essence is very different than Time for Personality, because they organize experiences very differently.

Time for a gnat is very different from Time for a rock for the same reasons.

This organizational capacity must be in place early on, if you will, so that experience can be funneled into Essence in a way that can be comprehended, for that is the "entire point" of Existence.

In terms of Personality, this Right is quite similar, in that it is your Right to see beyond any circumstances, beyond the self, beyond the moment, to dream, to imagine, to be visionary, etc.

The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 7th Chakra, or the Crown Chakra, as this is the means through which Essence will comprehend its experiences of existence. It is the Right to Evolve.

This is inherent in all matter, as well.

The Rights to Exist, Feel, Dream, and Evolve, then, are inherent in all matter or energy. There are better words that may be considered, but this is a fair enough reference here.

Yes, even Rocks have these Rights, at least in terms of the energy and matter that is the Rock.

However, something very different begins to happen for those forms of Consciousness who choose to aim for exploration in Sentience (and not all forms of consciousness aim for that).

The Chakras, or Rights, that we have described so far are the Rights that come from the very nature of energy as representative of Tao, and this gives all a vast range of exploration in form throughout that universe, since all matter would inherently have these Rights, or portals/chakras.

Entire Entities and Energy Rings can then exist as mountain ranges, weather systems, herds of animals, insects, birds, amoeba, fish, water systems, etc. or whatever other terms might be used to describe the planet of interest that may house a candidate species for sentience.

All of the Rights inherent in Essence are carried through those forms and implemented in ways that evolve the planet and its species and life forms.

Nothing in existence was formed in matter without some consciousness involved in its coming into that existence of form.

Nothing in existence of form is evolved without the consciousness that is experiencing that form and its parameters of choice.

But what makes Sentience so unique is that it learns to use the inherent Chakras of the denser bodies, and turns those into an extension of Essence Rights.

In the exploration through the Physical Plane, there comes a time when the aim for Sentience includes having the Rights of Essence represented through the bodies of that Plane.

The first of these to be established is the 3rd Chakra, or the Right to Move, to Change, to Be Free.

This tends to prompt the evolutionary chain of events that lead to the candidates for Sentience much later.

This is because the Third Chakra is the Second Chakra, made Ordinal. Or, in our terms, the Moving Center begins being used for manifesting the Higher Moving Center.

This 3rd Chakra, then, is developed in anything that can move or grow in form, and that Right will exist for anything that can move and grow within the Physical Plane after that Chakra has been developed for that form.

Again, at least in terms of the consciousness exploring that form.

In a Sentient Species, this Right continues as a similar Right.

It is the Right of the Personality to make its own choices, choose its own actions, choose its own directions, grow in its own way, be free on its own terms, etc.

The 4th Chakra is developed among species whose wiring has evolved to a point where it can become aware of itself beyond itself. This is not the same thing as self-awareness or Sentience, but a kind of empathy, and an awareness of Time, and a capacity for learning.

In non-sentient Species this would be the Right to Nurture, to Care, to Empathize.

In a Sentient Species, this becomes the Right to Love.

And then the 5th Chakra is developed and explored through species who have gained the capacity for language.

This becomes the Right to Communicate in non-sentient species, and becomes the Right to The Truth in a Sentient Species.

By "language," we do not mean speaking English, but some form of complex symbols in sound, body, or other form that allows for the transfer of ideas.

This 5th Chakra becomes the practice portal for the use of the 7th Chakra of Essence.

As an aside: We will not go into detail about the Kingdoms that were developed and then explored on this planet by Essences aiming for Sentience, but we can say that, while this planet was explored by our Design of Sentience before choosing a different planet, and because our bodies were "moved here," many fragments within our Design are wholly unfamiliar with the the Kingdoms here, and therefore have evolved over time with a gross lack of concern for the Rights of the creatures who evolved here.

What we have shared with you so far has been an overall picture of these Rights, why they are called Rights, and how they came about.

When a species shifts from non-sentient to sentient, it tends to be because of the capacity for that species to not merely be experienced by Essence, but to represent Essence.

[GeraldineB] Is this the basic reason that taking a sentient life requires karma to expiate it? The right to life?

      [MEntity]
To some extent, yes. And that is because it is very different to experience a Physical Plane through a form, versus AS a form.

We will point out here that before there is an incarnation as a Sentient Species, there is no 3rd, 4th, or 5th Chakra.

But once locked into an incarnational cycle as a Sentient Species, that Essence is then locked into a path back to Tao that will require the full exploration of those Chakras AS ESSENCE, which means a process through not only the Physical Plane, as represented by the 3rd Chakra, but the Astral Plane, as represented by the 4th, and the Causal Plane, as represented by the 5th.

It is important to understand the greater context for these Rights and the Chakras, but for the point of this workshop, we will now point you toward the ways in which you can use this information on a daily basis so that it is meaningful to "you" "now."

[Janet] Do you mean before there is a plan to experience sentience there is no 3rd, 4th or 5th chakra? Earlier you said it was necessary to experience nurturing as non-sentient.

      [MEntity]
Janet, those Chakras are developed as inherent in the species being explored, but only upon Sentience do they then become a part of Essence.

That is because, when exploring the Chakras through non-sentience, they are stationary, if you will, in that species, but once Essence is exploring Sentience, those Chakras rise out of the Instinctive Center that is "inserted" into every body of each life.

This is the difference between being a fragment that is Sentient, and being a part of a Hive Soul.

Those stationary chakras act as portals for the exploring consciousness of that species.

That species becomes like a hive of portals, or Chakras, through which various Essences, Entities, or even Energy Rings explore, diving in and out, etc.

In Sentience, however, the bodies die without the consciousness that holds them together.

      To continue:

In exploring your Rights as a Personality that is representative of Essence, and having all of the Rights that are inherent in both Essence and Personality, it will help you to understand one simple question for assessing what Right you are either blocking, ignoring, or undermining:

      What makes you Angry?

Anger is the means through which bodies develop the capacity for alerting itself to the violation of Rights.

We are using the term "anger" here because it is the most obvious, but anger is another term for helpless, and is the underlying factor in sadness or depression, as well.

      [Bobby] no offense taken 😉

      [MEntity]
If it helps, then, one can ask, what makes me sad? what makes me depressed? what makes me feel helpless?

Most of what makes one helpless, sad, depressed, or angry is relative to one's capacity for fulfilling one's own Rights.

None of the reasons or causes are relevant for anything other than your own process of awareness, as there are often limitations in what one can do to change the what, or the who, or the when of anger.

[Maureen] How does the “Right to Life” or the “Right to Exist” play into being a Carnivore vs a Vegetarian? Do Humans have more “rights” than Animals? Do Animals have more “rights” than Plants? Is there a pecking order? (no chicken jokes here 😉 )

      [MEntity]
The point would be in helping you to understand how you can bring more fulfillment and flow to your Chakras, or Rights, to help you to Exist, Feel, Grow, Love, Communicate, Dream, and Know.

No one species has more Rights than another, but eventually, Sentience begins to acknowledge the spectrum of Rights inherent in all form, and makes choices relative to how those are honored.

A Sentient Species is the only species with the capacity to grasp the concept of Rights while in form.

A factory animal may know anger, sadness, depression, helplessness because it is aware that its Right to Be Free has been violated, but it does not know that it has that Right.

On their own terms, the creatures would exemplify their Right to Be Free, to Nurture, and to Communicate, as these are inherent in the species, but they would not know to defend these until they are violated. This is why many species can be enslaved and farmed, as they know only the instinctive defense of the Rights, but not the Rights.

[Janet] Michael, my primary source of anger relates to limitation of choice -- in the form of people seeking to impose their beliefs on others via rules or laws and also in the form of individuals mindlessly accepting whatever their church or peer group say is best. I cannot see how this ties to a specific Right or chakra. It seems to affect all of them. Although, given your last statement, perhaps it most affects my right to be Free -- similar to the animals you have described.

      [MEntity]
Janet, when you cannot seem to clearly identify what Right is in violation, what you might want to do is look at or feel where the anger is felt in the body when noting this violation.

Where it is felt in the body is often a sign as to what Chakra is being violated.

If you feel this in your stomach, or your gut, it may be that it is the Right to Be Free.

[Janet] Well, that is helpful. I do feel it in my gut.

      [MEntity]
Keep in mind, however, that while the "cause" may be consistent, the Right is not always the same one being violated.

For instance, another time you may find that it is a violation of truth, or the right to the truth, and all of the variations on the truth.

This may be felt in your body by wishing you would say something when you end up not speaking up.

      And so on.

[Maureen] Do Plants "suffer" the same distinction then?

[MEntity] As for Plants, they only suffer in terms of their Right to Grow. They do not experience suffering in other ways, for the most part, as they do not have the 4th and 5th Chakras developed.

[Maureen] Michael -- Then Headaches may represent that your "Right to Dream" is being curtailed? .. and so on?

      [MEntity]
Maureen, that would be correct, though one must be careful to explore the spectrum of interpretation that can be attributed to a Chakra and Right, so as not to become too literal in correlation. For instance, a headache might also speak to the refusal to see beyond one's circumstances, to explore imaginative solutions, etc.

When one feels that his or her Rights are obstructed in some way, there is only one solution: YOU.

[Maureen] Do Creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras then?

      [MEntity]
Not all creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras. Creatures that have developed the capacity for Nurturing have developed the 4th, and Creatures that have developed the 5th have created a means of sharing ideas and concepts.

In some way, somehow, you must acknowledge that your Right is actually still intact, or find a means through which you can acknowledge that it is implemented.

When one feels that his Rights are violated, by the self or by others or by circumstances, there will ALWAYS be a way that those Rights can be fulfilled, or that are already being fulfilled.

This is not the same thing as the Rights that are fought for within societies and communities, though these do represent internal battles within various groups.

We are speaking to your Rights as Sentience, the combination of Essence and Personality, and these are always intact.

We have gone rather long in our exploration of this topic, and we think that we could do well to follow up with more discussion in your Forum where this will be archived. As you explore the concept of these Rights over the next weeks, we can respond through Troy for further discussion about your questions and experiences.

We must conclude here for today. It has been a long journey to Sentience, and these Rights are yours. They will be intact with or without your acknowledgment, but to acknowledge them, and occasionally manage your way back into that acknowledgment, can have profound effects upon your capacity to choose, and to be conscious.

      OMW: Year Review

      MEntity:
Hello to each of you. We are here now.

The workshop requested today is that of consciously reviewing your year of experiences so that you may carry with you into the next year that which is of benefit to you, and release that which is not. This process of Review happens on a Personality Level almost-yearly, but almost always subconsciously, and not with a great deal of comprehension.

There are various levels of Reviews that happen, as signified by some of the planetary Returns in your Astrology, such as the Jupiter and Saturn Returns, and also by any collective Instinctive Centered Year, or major events and choices in your life. In short, Reviews are happening "all the time" in some form, but it usually takes a major event to truly bring comprehension of that Review.

Unless you use your power of Choice to bring a Review into comprehension at will.

The Review process that we will discuss today is one based upon your Choice, your willingness. It is a conscious Review.

Time periods or recurring events (such as holidays) are excellent markers for taking a moment to Review, and the end/beginning of a year is usually quite significant to most.

We will define "Review" here as: the process of awareness, integration and comprehension of experiences. Awareness is the Intellectual recall of experience. Integration is the extraction of meaning from experience, or the Emotional/Inspirational element. And Comprehension is the building from those experiences, or the Action element.

What most lifetimes/Personalities tend to do is to leave a trail of experiences that are then gathered up only after the death of the body. The cliche that "people never really change" is based upon this, because most fragments while incarnated in a Personality really do not change in any discernible way, because there is a great lack of Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension of Experiences.

Most lifetimes tend to be a series of consumed experiences that do not get fully processed. To put this into perspective: imagine that a lifetime equals 100% Experience. Most fragments, while in a body, are Aware of only 10% at most, Integrate only half of that 10% at most, and Comprehend even less. In other words: 90% of what is gained from a lifetime of Experiences comes AFTER the lifetime ends. A lifetime of experiences over a 70 to 100 year span bringing only 3% Comprehension leaves the Personality at the end of the lifetime feeling quite bewildered with "where the time went," what he or she did with his or her life, etc.

If Review were a regular part of the lifetime in Comprehensive ways, or if this were considered a valid and vital part of educational systems, lifetimes would look very different. That being said, it is also a glorious luxury that a Personality is NOT required to Review. YOU get to LIVE. That is all you have to do, if that.

It is not your responsibility, nor is it particularly appealing to go into Review on any regular basis during a lifetime. The opportunities are there, and sometimes they are vital (signified most of the time by near-death experiences prompting Review), but they are not required. However, as the Soul Ages, and the Personalities grow more and more conscious during the living of a lifetime, manifesting Essence more and more, the process of Review becomes quite an interesting prospect. YOU want to Review because YOU equals Essence. "You" always equates Essence, but not always consciously, which is the differentiation between "manifesting Essence" and not.

Today, then, we will share with you ways that you can Review using tools that are useful as Personality, as well as methods that are used by Essence, usually reserved for after death.

Before we go into those, we will first suggest the methods for settling into your Review. You do not have to do these during this workshop.

Draw from memory at least 3 significant events of your past year. There are always 3 or more, whether you realize that or not. There a multitude, in fact, but in terms of memory, there should always be available at least 3 with which will come to AWARENESS. Divide your previous year into four sections of three months each (i.e., Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). To the best of your memory, determine in which section the events occurred.
[Martha] event meaning some particular occurrence, or could it be some longer term theme/project etc?

      MEntity:
Martha, "significant" is the key here. It could have been a moment, it could have been a project, it could have been a word, it could have been a day, etc. The degree of significance to you is what is important. By "significant," we mean that it meant something to you that stayed with you in some way. If it was a long-term event of significance, it can be noted as to where it began, but it can also be noted as to which sections it spanned. By just doing these steps, you have worked through the Awareness and Integration elements of Review. The next steps, then, will have more immediate significance and resonance, if this process works for you, as your examples can be worked with.

A continuation on the Integration element:

The four sections of the year are now labeled by the Overleaf emphasis that the season tends to bring with it. This may be different for those in the different Hemispheres, and whether the climate is rather steady, or not, there will still be these "seasons." For simplistic purposes, we will describe the climates where most of our students are, and this can then be translated appropriately.

      Jan-Mar=Winter=GOAL Apr-Jun=Spring=MODE Jul-Sep=Summer=ATTITUDE Oct-Dec=Fall=CHIEF FEATURES
Obviously, these are not exact to the shifts in Seasons, and in fact there are more "seasons" when technically speaking, but this is a symbolic mapping that need not be confused with more technical differences.

[Maureen] Is it your personal Overleaves in effect or is this only the "effect" of the yearly, transiting Overleaves?

      MEntity:
In extreme climates that transcend the more "traditional" shifts in insolation for the year, such as closer to the poles and equator, we would still suggest dividing up your year for Review as suggested, as it is symbolic, as we said, but there are some differences in your process that we will address. There a multitude of ways to define "seasons" on the planet, so we will use this mapping that helps to cover the point of Review, rather than as a way to describing shifting temperatures and cycles of the planet, itself.  In your identifying where in your "seasons" your significant events occurred, you have gained insight into which of your Overleaves was being activated as a primary process for that event.

If your significant event occurred in Jan-Mar, it is directly and most-significantly linked to your GOAL. If your significant event occurred in Apr-Jun, it is directly, and most-significantly, linked to your MODE. And so on.

      To expand upon these:

GOAL = the state or quality that every action in your life is aimed at comprehending. MODE = the method through which you access inspiration, and use that for developing Relationships. ATTITUDE = the means through which you communicate/express yourself to your world, and interpret the communication and expressions from your world. CHIEF FEATURES = the habits used to protect yourself from presumed dangers and threats to any of the above.
All of this falls into the elaboration for Step Three, by the way.

[Maureen] So if you went into "action" during the Oct-Dec time period -- would that be in "reaction" to your Chief Features?

MEntity: We do not understand your question.

[Maureen] If this time period is related to the CFs -- and you "act" or create at that time -- is this related to the Cfs?

      MEntity:
No. When we get into examples, this may be clearer.

Before we continue, we will take one of you as an example for how to utilize step three, and help you walk through the assessment. Who will volunteer? Just one, for now.

      [Maureen] me?

      MEntity: Yes, Maureen.

[Maureen] do you want me to give you what I have?

MEntity: Share one significant event and in what time frame it occurred.

[Maureen] OBSERVATION, PASSION/RESERVE, REALIST, CFs (STUBBORNNESS, SELF-DEP, IMPATIENCE): People “insisting/wanting” to pay me Apr-Jun($), Jul-Aug(barter), Oct-Dec($).

MEntity: So that we are clear: these are the same events of significance, occurring at different points in the year?

[Maureen] yes - similar events / so the "same' – yes

      MEntity:
This would then count as ONE significant event, even if it is cycles or repetition, and we would go with where it began: in the realm of your MODE. However, it will still "mean something" that it occurred in these other seasons, and we can address that. The arcing of significance, though, would be in that this is a Significant Event regarding Inspiration, your Mode, and Relationships.

Our walkthrough with you will lead to step FOUR) Comprehension. What will lead to Comprehension, is the full Integration from step THREE, which is making sense of what this means to you.

In this case, having the symbolic context of your Mode, Inspiration, and Relationships, it seems almost "too obvious" that this Significant Event is a process that is inviting you to relate in ways that bring the circuit of Inspiration to a wholeness in your Relationships regarding your services. It was an opportunity for you to Comprehend that your services have value that, while difficult to quantify, CAN be quantified in a way that helps that Comprehension. Therein lies the Comprehension, or Step Four: you are PART of the equation of value, not the entire equation, in a Relationship, in any terms of exchange.

In terms of your own Mode of Observation, then, it would mean that this Significant Event should be glaring, obvious, and clear, and if it is rejected, you are not seeing clearly, or refusing to see clearly what is so obvious.

[Maureen] I can see it – lol

      MEntity:
      Yes, you can.

And by using this Review, you can then build from the Experience in a way that changes you, rather than hints at possibilities that you refuse, deny, or resist.

Does all of this make sense to you?

      [Maureen] yes it does

MEntity: Another example from another student is requested. Yes, Janet. Share as Maureen shared.

[Janet] I participated in a dance competition in June, first in many years. I did not do well for a variety of reasons. But it haunts me now. I'm in Power mode. Might be my self-dep that alters my impressions of it now.

MEntity: What part of June? The closer to July, the more one would want to consider the next" season" as well; in this case, the Attitude.

[Janet] Mid-June. But I am Stoic.

MEntity: NOTE: Any Significant Event that resides on the cusp of a "season" would do well to consider the context next to it.

[Janet] And goal of Dominance to complete the sequence...

      MEntity:
A fair span of consideration for a cusp is 3 days before the next context.

In assessing your Significant Event, Janet, one would consider the event in context: in your case, in the context of Power Mode. Keeping in mind that "MODE = the method through which you access inspiration, and use that for developing Relationships," and that Power Mode is about relating through your degree of PRESENCE, we can begin to extract the significance of this event, or Integrate it.

In this case, you went on full display, not only for others to see, but for you to see, just how PRESENT you are with yourself. Were you fully merged into the movements of your dance? Were you present with yourself *as a dancer*, or were you distracted by your past performances as a dancer, or your future assessment as a dancer?

      [Janet] Oh bingo

MEntity: This is significant to you because it let you see where you are in your use of that Mode, in your use of Power, in your willingness to Be Present (in relationships).

[Janet] So if you do not or cannot make full use of your mode, you may miss opportunities? Is this a way of evaluating how to approach future events?

      MEntity:
And therein lies your Comprehension, or Step Four. That you fall into Oppression of yourself to protect yourself from the presence and power of others, rather than stand in your own Authority and confidence with whatever, however, and wherever you are with yourself NOW.

[Janet] Very valid. And in retrospect all my previous good showings at comps made full use of Power mode. I see it now.

      MEntity:
You will always make "full use" of your Mode. It is your Mode. It is functioning in one way or another, be it in Authority, or in Oppression.

The key here is in your Conscious Review: continue to condemn your performance and lose all useful meaning (Integration) from it, or retroactively allow THAT PERFORMANCE to be OKAY. Take back your Authority, and bring yourself back to you (Presence), by understanding that it was its own performance, and not a defining moment the wipe out all other performances, past, future, or present.

[Janet] A most helpful Review. Thank you.

[Maureen] So is that how the CFs come into "play" -- at the end of the year? As we look back we "assign" a "negative" or "positive" reaction/response to our events?

      MEntity:
Maureen, that is valid. The "season" of Chief Features tends to be when most do any kind of Review, but when done without Consciousness, there tends to come only a review of what went wrong, what needs to change, what you will do differently, etc. And then the cycle perpetuates in the new year.

[Maureen] and I just saw Janet "shift" -- so if you allow yourself to shift from a "negative" to a "positive" view you can pull your OLs into the positive?

MEntity: Yes, Maureen; it is an immediate effect.

[Janet] But is it also valid to use what you know about the seasonal impact of the overleaves to prepare yourself for a coming event?

MEntity: Janet, because this mapping is based in Review, it tends to be the case that it is only useful in retrospect, rather than in anticipation.

[Janet] Ah. But I imagine some awareness won't hurt in the future.

MEntity: However, knowing the "seasonal emphasis" can help you to gauge your anticipated events in a way that then allows for more immediate Integration from within the Experience.

      [Janet] I can see that.

      MEntity:
For instance, had you known about this before your dance, you could have brought a consciousness to your dance that embraced your Power and presence. But that is also a realization that one can make at any time of the year.

When your Reviews are only based upon what went wrong, what needs to change, etc, then it tends to be the case that your entire next year begins with Actions/Goals that stem from disappointment, failings, etc, and the stories repeat in many ways then. When you are RELATING, consider your Mode. When you are fulfilling intentions, consider your GOAL. When you are socializing and communicating, consider your ATTITUDE. and so on.

What we have shared so far is a symbolic mapping of your Year in Review that helps you to bring Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension. Keep in mind that nearly all of what you have labeled as "significant events" comes with great benefit, if Comprehended. When there is lack of Comprehension, even the best of events can be dismissed. When Comprehension is involved, everything is amazing and beneficial.

However, it is not lost on Essence that many events of significance simply cannot be Comprehended while within the confines of time and space, and in those instances, the freedom you give yourself NOT to comprehend (until you can) is a Comprehension in itself.

To clarify our mapping of the year, the reason Chief Features are assigned to Fall, is that it is an Assimilative time of year, and therefore brings up the Instinctive Center, which often prompts fears. Assimilation is a process of filtering and organizing experiences, and this often means letting things die for the sake of rebirth, if you will.

What we have shared with you is a process that is a crude parallel to how Essence Reviews an entire lifetime, except in far more detail and analysis, but your participation while from "inside" the life adds a level of profundity to afterlife Review that can only come from your participation now.

Imagine the difference between walking a path through a grove of fruitful trees carrying a basket for collecting those ripened fruits, and taking time to eat many of them along the way, versus walking through that same path without a basket, and only carrying a few fruits in hand, able to maybe eat part of one along the way. The basket and the eating are your Awareness and Integration, which naturally lead to Comprehension, or a full basket at the end of the life. To continue with our metaphor, it would be similar to handing over whatever fruits are in your arms at the time, but leaving many uncollected. Some fragments "hand over their fruits" as their arms fill, and some just keep piling on top until older fruits drop off, and only recent fruits are then collected, or the other way around.

[GeraldineB] What about the ongoing Reviews with Essence, i.e., the 7-year Review?

MEntity: Geraldine, in most instances of Review, it is merely an uploading process, if you will, for Essence to sort through. It is not a Comprehension on the level of Personality.

[Oscar] Do Scholars collect more due to their more frequent uploading?

      MEntity:
Oscar, in keeping with the metaphor, Scholars come with their very own truck, but again, their collecting and uploading does not equate Comprehension.

To share with you more creative, Personality-based Review, one can also use such things as intentional synchronicities, or oracles. Creating a layout for a Tarot Card reading of your year can be helpful. Looking at significant Transits in your Astrology can be helpful. Casting Runes, etc.

[Janet] I'm sorry but what is an "intentional synchronicity"?

MEntity: Janet, we used that phrase to describe the intent for a system of randomness to act as a representation or reflection of specifics.

[Janet] Oh, like tarot cards or the like.

MEntity: That is an example, yes.

      [hanna3175] iching!

      MEntity:
      Correct.

Intentional Synchronicity. The intentional aspect is important, as it defines the circuit used for symbolic communication. Anything can be used when using Intentional Synchronicity. This is how dreams and omens can become significant to some. It is a valid means of establishing a language between Personality and Essence, or "the universe," etc.

[Maureen] The question posed "creates" the answer -- that is why the "question" is so important -- even with you Michael!

      MEntity:
Even the arrangements of toppings on a pizza can be "read," if there is a system defined/intended. Tea Leaf reading is no different from reading toppings on a pizza, for that matter. This process is a use of the Higher Moving Center, or the capacity for extracting Beauty. The ability to recognize patterns from within randomness. It is a skill that requires honesty, however, because it can also lead to "seeing" anything in everything.

In conclusion today:  By using the map we have described, and the steps for moving through Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension, you can begin your 2012 on a higher cycle, if you choose, rather than as a repeated cycle, or as an extended cycle. By "higher cycle" we simply mean that it continues to build upon what has come, rather than circles back to it.

We will work with Troy in sharing in our next Open Monthly Workshop then just how one might start a higher cycle after a Comprehensive Review.

NOTE: in your process of Review, we suggest taking your time, playing with various ways of understanding your significant event in terms of how it benefited you, and not simply making note of them and then discarding the process if it is frustrating. It can be daunting, we know, but it is an exercise of a "muscle" that is latent and fairly ignored, so it will not always seem easy or fun, at first. If you find you are not making any sense of your Review, or not getting to your point of Comprehension, as revealed by a sense of relief, "a-ha" moment, or enthusiasm, then set it down and come back to it later.

Your life will still be there.

Note from Janet: Although the intent for the topic was Centers and Body Types, no discussion of Body Types occurred.

      [Michael_Entity]
We are here. Hello to all of you.

We will begin with the Energy Report as we see it for the weeks of December 9 through the 22nd.

It is, of course, not a coincidence that many of you have begun discussing the properties and personal experiences of the Centers, as many of you are shifting into next year’s basic Centering at this time. Though a year’s “Overleaves” are not defined entirely and are not static at any given time, there is an overall set that does appear to have influence over varying levels of consciousness, at least symbolically. In the case of Older Souls, that set of influences can begin to take place in the few months before the new year.

We will also note an unusual phenomenon that is occurring for all of you: currently, in such a short time span between them, another larger Nexus Shift occurs. It is not uncommon for great shifts to occur throughout a year, but another shift is beginning on the 10th, and another in January/February, while this is all following the large shift in November. These shifts with little “breaks” between them are creating a great amount of shifting in levels of Energy among your Overleaves and your ability to participate in the world. There appear to be distinct days when your energy seems quite inspired and above normal, while the next few will find you seeming to be locked in an infinite stream of constricting thoughts and low energy. For some this will feel like “limbo,” while for others this can feel “manic.”

The Center for the next year, at this time, appears to be Moving, with bursts of Higher Moving. Unless you are Moving Centered, yourself, this is going to begin to feel like a time of shifting into OBVIOUS manifestations of what you are DOING.

(We remind you that our Energy Reports are not predictions, they are merely comments on patterns and how you might be able to use them or dismiss them.)

Having a field of Moving Centered Energy as the context for a period of time can mean a great deal of attention would be coming to the body and its relationship to its environment. We are speaking of its Physical environment, which can translate into a range from its sources of stimulation, affection, and activity, to its ability to use the finer energies that make up and create the Physical Plane.

Some of you may begin to pull out your old copies of teachings which focus on the concepts of “creating your own reality” and take a more active approach to reality than usual. While others may begin to feel overwhelmed by the “responsibility” that the Moving Centers imply while Physical.

Besides the fact of what you call “the holidays,” a stronger and stronger desire to be with those whom you care for and feel part of will begin to be a priority.

If these basic trends continues and the next year continues with the Moving Centered theme, we will be able to comment more accurately on how it might manifest. For now, a primary theme appears to be those points we just mentioned, along with a heightened awareness of your food intake and ability to literally move (health).

We will conclude the report here and take any questions about it before we discuss the Centers.

[Kathryn] Many of us, myself included, have been feeling very drained and tired or just down lately. Is this the reaction to this energy report influence?

      [Michael_Entity]
We don't believe the Energy Report itself has any influence as such, but the Energy, itself, we are reporting about may very well be what you are responding/reacting to.

For those who have any kind of health deficiencies, however minute, the Moving Center will markedly “force” the body into a position that is more inclined to facilitate recovery. This can be sleep, mental distraction, high activity, anger, etc., but it’s point is to facilitate recovery.

Another important factor to consider is the inherent nature of any Nexus having a sedating effect on the Human body as realities shift and creativity on another level is affecting the body. You do “create reality,” and that still uses energy. Most of the time, that energy is being held preciously by the Personality for reasons it doesn't even understand. The sedation and “tired phase” allows the “grip” to loosen and your reality can then free up some energy for changes to be made.

Most of you have your Personalities quite in charge of your lives, even if it doesn't quite “know” what to do. When a shift is needed and the Personality is choosing to work with Essence, the Personality will gladly concede and “take a nap.” At some point, in some lifetime, a shift will happen wherein the Personality and Essence are aligned enough that control is not shifted from one to the other, but is shared.

If there are no other questions on the Energy Report, we will discuss CENTERING. We feel there is no need to introduce the Centering to you, as many of you are already fairly studied in this area of our teaching. We will, however, respond to all of your questions about this area so as to clarify and help with the application of the information.

[MaryBV] How does centering affect memory?

      [Michael_Entity]
ALL Centers have their form of Memory in storage and retrieval.

The Intellect stores and retrieves memory in the form of Thoughts, Ideas, and is Visually interpreted.

The Emotional memories are stored and retrieved in the form what are commonly understood as Feelings, Emotions, and are Aurally interpreted.

The Moving stores and retrieves its memories in the forms of Health, Activity, and are Sensually interpreted.

Each Center does affect how events are remembered; especially in the mixture of the Centering with the Part.

The Intellect affects the memory with its level of beliefs and justifications; the Emotions affect memory with its sentimentality and attachments; the Moving affects the memory through its levels of vitality and productivity at the time.

For each of these examples above, they are only part of how each Center may affect memory, and those factors always stem from the PRESENT (retrieval), not how or what was stored.

Each Center is involved in Memory, of course, but the habitual Centering will affect how a fragment's memory is used habitually.

Each Ordinal Center is referencing memory of the current lifetime and physicality. If more information outside of that realm is required or resonating, it is then drawn through the Higher of that Center. The Instinctive Center is the communication medium between the Cardinal and Ordinal.

Since the Instinct/Assimilation is usually maintaining the task of protection of the body, most memory filtered there is decidedly fearful or not. This is why most long-standing memories are either decidedly joyful or painful.

We can continue to extrapolate on this topic, but we will ask if we are answering your question appropriate to your intent.

[MaryBV] Well, I should have asked also how the role plays into this, but that is probably a topic for a whole discussion.

[Michael_Entity] The Roles play little part in how memory is used or affected, since each lifetime sets a new design for the body and the Body/Personality is the tool for memory. The Essence's choice of Overleaves is the most direct impact. Since Time is not a factor for Essence, it does not have the need for “memory” as it is experienced on the Physical Plane.

[MaryBV] I see, so what accounts for smell/taste, etc., in memory?

[Michael_Entity] Every Cell and Atom in your body has the ability to “remember,” which means it has the ability to re-create. When the Personality or Body calls on a memory to be reconstructed, it will call on these minute parts of self to participate. It is of no mystery that you can recall a scene in a movie, which is Visual, but it is no more a mystery for the other senses to have that ability to reconstruct, as well.

[WickedBear] Could you discuss the fundamental differences between the two action centers?

      [Michael_Entity]
The most fundamental difference is in that the Ordinal pertains to the immediate environment of the Personality and Body, while the Cardinal pertains to all that encompasses that. The Moving Center, then, would govern and process the events of the actual, Physical Body and its health, activity, manipulation of environment, etc. The Higher Moving Center would then govern and process those similar things, but as they pertain to larger patterns that include everything pertaining to the Essence.

It could be said that the Moving Center is the manifestation/expression of that particular Personality's part in the Higher Moving tapestry of the Essence.

[Elf] Is the Part of Center chosen about the same time as the Centering? And what is most influential in that choice?

      [Michael_Entity]
Centering is chosen by the age of 3 in most cases, while the Part/Trap is a habit by the age of 7 (approximately).

The most influential aspect of that choice is in the major theme then settled on for the lifetime as to how to process events. The Center/Part becomes the Body's primary strength and challenge, and sets the stage for relationships, health, and beliefs for the majority of the life. Depending on your Centering and Part, you will find that your PART/TRAP becomes the defining obstacle to hurdle in coming to peace with a lifetime.

If the balance can be called upon for any Center, regardless of habit, then a great freedom is experienced within the lifetime. The first examination of this is in the 4th Internal Monad when the Part is either simply a Part, or continues to be the Trap. Most will find as the life progresses that the Part becomes the Trap, the more they ignore the need for that third Center to be incorporated. As part of the process for finding that balance, the neglected Center will eventually require attention.

For those lacking in the Moving Center, then health, prosperity, material security, physical need for affection and validation can become stages for its balance.

For those lacking in the Intellectual Center, then over-questioning, overwhelm, isolation, indecisiveness, and unacknowledged dependence on others for direction are examples of where the imbalance can show up.

For those lacking in the Emotional Center, then alienation, hypercriticism, unacknowledged issues of rejection, can tend to be some of the arenas for balance.

[Elf] Thank you. So the Part/Trap of Center is then somewhat a part of the Life Task?

      [Michael_Entity]
Yes, the Centering/Part are intrinsically linked to the Tasks of the Life. Centering habits tend to define how the Personality uses its 4 “pillars,” of which the Life Task (True Work), is one of those pillars. Your True Rest is directly linked to the use of your neglected Center. Your True Work is directly relating to the Goal.

The Centering/Part is not inherently a challenge to your Life Task, but it is a powerful definition of the path.

And with that, we will conclude. Good Night.
