Into onion mix stir flour, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, stir in broth, thickening slowly to avoid burning on the pot base, and add sage salt and pepper. It is kind of like the work in making a bechamel sauce, balancing the flour, oil, and liquid. Very tasty.
