We would think that being an Old Soul in Norway is quite cozy.

This is officially a Mature Soul country, but predominantly late-Mature and early-Old.

As Young Soul paradigms shift across the globe, countries that exhibit a combination of wealth and peace will most likely stand as beginning models for implementing long-term changes.

Norway is on the top of my bucket list, it looks so beautiful. My grandmother was from Norway, and my grandma from my other side of family was from sweden, so all my life i hear about Norway and Sweden and how great they are. I could go for some lefse and schoolbread right now.

So cool! You are Scandinavian-ish Matt!

I have naturally rosy cheeks, and my grandma used to pull on them and say those were my swedish roots coming out, LoL.

Do you know where in Norway your grandmother came and the family name? Just curious. In this little country with only 5 million people it's not that difficult to find people.

And what about your Swedish roots?

I believe she was from Bergen, her name was Emma Heimark. That was my moms side, and on my dads side, grandma name was Mabel Peterson, but not sure where her family came from in Sweden. She died when i was 12, so i would have to research that.

I searched for fun and found 58 people with the name Heimark in the Bergen area :-)

    This could be interesting...

Thats so awesome, i am going to have to get info from my mom on what my grandmas brothers and sisters names were. I know her moms name was something like Raginhild, but that was way long ago. My grandma emma was born in 1910 and she died when she was 92 years old.

Wow, better get all that information from your mom recorded some way. Maybe she wrote and received letters from family in Norway. Her siblings may all be gone but maybe there are still some children and grandchildren out there :-) And by the way Ragnhild is a well used name even today.
