    [Excerpted from Ancient humans: 6 million years of development and Overview of interventions, which are transcripts in the Fringe & Whackadoodle Studies Club.] [Geraldine] Civilizations don't begin during the immediate period. There is a several hundred year period where population explodes, technology rapidly evolves, and changes happen. Since I've been told about the level of human civilization at the 1 million year mark, were there pivotal changes that caused this level of expansion? [MEntity] There is always an intervention factor for every wave of civilizations that have come and gone; even the current civilization (or mankind) as a whole is a result of intervention. Because the human species is a hybrid, there have always come periods of instability in the bodies that make up humans as hosts for sentience, and these usually peak in large cycles, then collapse, and have to be stabilized by intervention, and then rebuilding begins. The interventions happen in two ways: through caretaker intervention, which might be seen as "aliens," and through the bringing of the Logos through the Infinite Soul manifestations. When metaphysical instability begins to be profound, the Infinite Soul manifestation occurs. This metaphysical instability would include emotional, intellectual, and "spiritual" instability of the collective bodies at the time, and the probabilities that those bodies would give rise to even further instability without intervention. When physical instability begins to be profound, such as self-destruction, destruction of great parts of the planet, and degradation of capacities for evolution, then "alien" intervention occurs. On the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual levels, Intervention happens as necessary and has happened multiple times throughout the history of your sentience. ### MEntity: There are usually 2 kinds of Intervention: "Alien" or caretaker intervention, and Infinite Soul intervention. Both tend to be stabilizing, pivotal, and redirectional forces for the entirety of the Sentience being supported. These occur in two ways: hidden or presented. The greater the population, the more hidden these interventions tend to be. Furthermore, each of these are often Insidious and/or Invitational. In other words, slow introductions of change, and usually seeded within relatively small groups.

    [Excerpted from Human evolution, Overview of interventions, and Kendre, which are transcripts in the Fringe & Whackadoodle Studies Club. There are other transcripts in that Club that may be needed to understand some of the references.] Geraldine: I'd like some information about prehistorical TS & IS. For example, Ra is listed as an IS and was a long term "sun god" for Egypt — but what did he actually do that made him a legendary/mythological figure of renown? MEntity: In terms of prehistorical Infinite Souls and Transcendental Souls, there are only mythologies from which to draw references, as those who actually acted as Manifestations were only "recorded" in tales and stories for thousands and thousands of years. The reference to "Ra" would be one of those, having actually manifested approximately 6000 BCE, about 3000 years previous to the culmination of the cults who began to implement formal worship and recording. The original manifestation was focused on the transformation of fear regarding nature and the sky, in particular the Sun, into a means of abundance and resource. Even this reference as a mythological god is one of many "incarnations" of how this Manifestation actually occurred. The stories and myths became embellished over history as a means to tell the story of those telling the story, not of the history, itself. Once that flexible template is in place, any Entity or Cadre can "play" the role for any group or individual as a means to teach, giving rise to a multitude of variations. Geraldine: Are you saying that these TS & IS manifestations aren't part of the Akashic Records? MEntity: No, we are not. We are saying that it is complicated to give you a response with any tangible reference beyond what you have as a reference. For instance, we can tell you that in 4,000,000 BCE Ti'AT manifested the Infinite Soul as a means to bring the Logos regarding nomadal navigation, but the only reference to this in your perspective might be a few of the "alien" etchings of later cultures. ... And upon elaboration, possibly tie them to tangible references in your recorded history. The fragment known as Ti'AT was not a fictional example, by the way. Geraldine: I'm not familiar with Ti`AT MEntity: We know. Geraldine: LOL no one is, I suppose MEntity: That was the first Manifestation. ... The list of human Infinite Soul Manifestations would be: With approximate time frames Ti'AT (female 4,000,000 BCE), Khro'Te (male child 2,000,000 BCE), Ker (female 1,000,000 BCE), Sonad, Kin, Serep (brothers 700,000 BCE), Tinet, TenTen, Tia (sisters 500,000 BCE), Shia (female 150,000 BCE), Kendre (female 75,000 BCE), "Ra" (male 6,000 BCE), "Krishna (6,000 BCE) "Lilith (female 4,000 BCE), "Buddha (male 500 BCE), Lao Tzu (male 4,000 BCE) "Christ (male 5 BCE). We think we have covered them. This was not an easy task for our channel. Many of the names are phonetic and rather insignificant in terms of references for you. Geraldine: So, Lilith was an IS, not a TS? Through Michael Toth, she was given as a TS at about 10,000 BCE. MEntity: In regard to "Lilith," this would also be correct. A Transcendental Soul manifested in a way that then became a thread that the Infinite Soul used for Manifestation. The mythology of "Lilith" includes two past peaks, one in which a Transcendental Soul manifested, and one in which the Infinite Soul manifested. The more recent Manifestation is the more relevant of what has come to be the myth of "Lilith." Geraldine: Her name and lore was really trashed after that manifestation MEntity: Most Manifestations do not take long to be "trashed." We refer to the Manifestation through Christ as a most-recent example. There is much truth in the cliche that the gods of the past religion becomes the devil of the new. That is often the case, particularly when it involves Baby Souls. ### MEntity: There are usually 2 kinds of Intervention: "Alien" or caretaker intervention, and Infinite Soul intervention. Both tend to be stabilizing, pivotal, and redirectional forces for the entirety of the Sentience being supported. These occur in two ways: hidden or presented. In the metaphysical scheme of things, so to speak, there are pods of fragments who work together in Agreement for these interventions throughout the Grand Cycle, and there are many within a Design who actually never have contact with these non-terrestrial, other-sentience species. So there are many who will have these Essence memories, and others who will find them completely foreign. After the initial transfer, a period of approximately 3 million years passed before a return from the caretakers. We refer to these species as "caretakers" because it is a valid term. Every Sentient Species is a Caretaker, at some point, for the introduction and stabilizing of another Sentient Species. At this point, Human Sentience would probably care for the fellow primate Sentience of Gorillas as this continues to grow. 3 Million Years Ago: The return visit found the species in dire shape, in terms of breeding and mental stability, but with great packs of fragments having formed into working tribes that were thriving, otherwise. ... The first Infinite Soul was then introduced through the species, not through Human Sentience, but through one of the integrated caretakers of the time; an Old Priest. ... In fact, the first three were not technically Human, but were of caretakers' species. The second manifestation was King. ... The first of Human Sentience hosting the Infinite Soul were through three brothers in approximately 700,000 BCE. [Sonad, Kin, Serep (brothers - 700,000 BCE] Using this approximate 3 million year point as the first of Interventions, we can say that roughly, each following Intervention/Interaction has followed a pattern: 1.5 million years ago; 750,000 years ago, 325,000 years ago, 150,000 years ago, 75,000 years ago, 30,000 years ago, 15,000 years ago, 7500 years ago, 3000 years ago, 1500 years ago, 700 years ago, 300 years ago, 150 years ago, 60 years ago. These are approximate, as it is difficult to pinpoint across timelines exactly when is "your" when, but these are fair approximations. Not all of these Interventions included collapses, or genetic stabilization, but usually include some form of Hidden or Presented Insidious or Invitational contact. Either from Infinite Soul or from caretakers. The reason for this pattern is because of the maturing species as well as the growing population and spreading of that population. ... In fact, the manifestations of the Infinite Souls through the brothers and the sisters in 700,000 and 500,000 BCE became part of the mythology of the Muses. The means through which these manifestations "taught" were through the capacity to sing, create, and compose music, but more, they were able to help those who listened, to be able to share with others a similar copy of that experience. The joy that this brought to the species is something we cannot convey in words. All survival issues fell by the wayside, and development began to center around these ideals brought about by music and song. ### [Geraldine] I feel that one of the most critical times for human evolution happened during the timeframe of the 7th manifestation of the Infinite Soul, Kendre, about 77,000 years ago, which seems to match up to an Alien Contact Event at about 75,000 years ago. I'd like to know more about this time period, in terms of any major events, what Kendre accomplished, and if I had any lifetimes present. [MEntity] The time period about which you ask was a time period where our Sentience nearly lost all stability of our species, with a mass exodus in several ways, including nomadically, but also physically, as we neared extinction. "Kendre" was a voice that helped direct a large group of peoples of that time away from further dangers, and into lands that would allow for population to stabilize. ... We probably would not have survived if "Kendre" had not pointed out pathways for travel, and revealed to the variations of humans a common language for partnering up. This Infinite Soul brought an Energy/Beauty Logos. ### [Geraldine] The answers that have been given so far for two different manifestations of the Infinite Soul (4th and 5th) have crossover information or a discrepancy. We have both showing as "taught through the capacity to sing, create, and compose music." I'm showing Sonad, Kin, and Serep, brothers, human beings at about 700,000 years, and Tinet, TenTen, Tia, sisters, human beings at about 500,000 years ago, doing exactly the same thing. Please clarify and elaborate. Also, please give approximate locale for each. [MEntity] The information is valid, as far as we can see. Infinite Soul manifestations can show up a multitude of times, close together, and use the same media for influence in conveying the same message, if that is what is necessary. The geographical locations that were involved with these manifestations were first in the areas known as England and the effects moved through Northern Europe and then carried further into the areas of what is known as Greece by the following manifestation. In both instances, each sibling of each set of manifestation specialized in 3 rather specific areas of arts that would eventually come to be the "9 muses" of mythology. Each set brought all three of the universal logos, with one sibling manifesting truth, another love, and another energy.

    [Excerpt from CF Report received on December 3, 2014; shared with permission] MEntity: First, we will discuss the Primary Chief Feature: Arrogance. Your Primary Chief Feature describes how one protects oneself "from the world," so to speak. It is often the most visible of the Chief Features, and is used as a defensive front/persona against any threats "from the world." Because the Goal of the Personality tends to encompass how one's actions interact with the world, the Primary Chief Feature affects the Goal. So the Primary Chief Feature describes your obstacles to being effective in both the world and in reaching your Goal. ... Arrogance is the means that one decides upon when it is determined that "the world" is looking too closely at you, or that you were exposed to the world in some way that threatened your trust in vulnerability. Arrogance often goes hand in hand with Acceptance because of the inherent nature of the Goal of Acceptance. Acceptance is the goal of second, third, and fourth (or more) chances as a way to try to accept someone, or as a way to convince someone that you are acceptable.This vulnerability is fueled by a form of innocence for a long time, but if that vulnerability is betrayed or brings too much attention to you in a way that leaves you exposed, the protection against vulnerability begins to build. For those in Acceptance with Arrogance, the shift tends to move away from BEING Accepted, to being Accepting. ... For those in Acceptance, the capacity to see everything is high, but this is not a skill many have. So it is easy to begin to show others only what you choose to show them. Arrogance then begins to make an art of appearing as personable and open as possible so that everyone thinks there is nothing being hidden. But for those in Arrogance, there is always something hidden, and it is a dark secret among those in Arrogance that they are just waiting for someone to see past the facades and into the dark. This is when they "know" they might finally be loved. But even when those in Arrogance are finally seen, there is defense is so entrenched that the love is not felt. This is most often seen in if there are symptoms where compliments are dismissed or shrugged off as if they are pandering or misguided social gestures. Arrogance/Acceptance learns how to keep others at a distance by turning the attention back onto others with kindness, compliments, or help, so any gestures of this nature in their own direction are determined to be insincere. Eventually, Arrogance/Acceptance decides that only he or she truly knows how to love and to accept others, but that others will never truly know how to love and accept them. For the older soul, this is how Vanity, the Negative Pole shows up. "I am better at loving than you are." A carefully orchestrated facade is constantly maneuvered between the self and the world and then it is wondered why no one truly sees you. When Arrogance moves into the positive pole of Pride, this often shows up for the older soul in his or her appearance. There is a certain amount of investment in taking care of the self so that it is presentable. For those in Arrogance, as soon as there is any streak of time when interactions decline, appearance, self-care, hygiene, clothing choices, etc., all begin to lose significance. Only if one is being seen, even if superficially, do these things matter anymore. ... For those in Arrogance as primary chief feature, it can be helpful to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE - go be around people; go do something, and better yet, interact with people. This is not the same thing as tolerating people and being superficial, but actually being a part of a group who shares interests, hobbies, goals, etc. Let this idea of "get out of the house" extend into "house" meaning anything into which you find yourself hiding. For example, it may mean "get out of your skin" or "get out from behind your children" or "get out of your routines." Anything that actively exposes you to the world again in a way that you choose. Another way that you can help transform Arrogance is to LET PEOPLE LIKE YOU. By this we mean that you actively embrace every kind gesture sent your way, regardless of its depth. If someone smiles at you, let that in. If someone thanks you, let that in. And, of course, anything deeper in meaning, let that in, as well. And, finally, for those in Arrogance/Acceptance, this one can be the most painful and difficult aspect to accept and transform as a way to move up and out of Arrogance: STOP BEING BETTER THAN THE WORLD We say that in a tongue-in-cheek way, but it is true that many in Arrogance, particularly in Arrogance/Acceptance, sense that they are simply not a part of the world, that they are simply enduring it, and that they are better than most. For the older soul, this does not show up in the same way that it shows up for younger souls. In younger souls, this shows up as blatantly self-indulgent and entitled, over-confident, offensive, etc. But for the older soul, this shows up as "why can't you see what I see" and "people are stupid" or "the world has gone insane" or "I guess I will do all of the loving, thinking, and feeling that others don't seem to be able to do" etc. So if similar thoughts or words pass through you, stop for a moment and put yourself back into the world, back into the picture, and embrace that you are a PART of the world, not above it or beyond it.     [Extracted from a private session on November 11, 2007.] Geraldine: Do you see any particular negative pole that is especially impacting me? MEntity: In terms of the negative pole to which you most gravitate, we would see you as being slightly addicted to the negative pole of the Observation Mode of Surveillance. There is often a sense of disconnection from the world around you, or more accurately from the world-at-large. You have resolved the differences between your inner and outer world, but part of your experiences of incarnating are now focused on being a part of the world-at-large (for lack of a better phrase). Geraldine: Yes, I have become quite reclusive and thereby non-participating IN life. MEntity: For the most part, there has come to be a kind of glass wall, or two-way mirror, so to speak between you and the world, rendering you invisible to some extent, or at least removed. Observing, but ineffective; Observing, but not a part; Observing, but not inspired; hence your sliding into Passion Mode as your means to move out of Surveillance. ... When you move into Self-Actualization, the positive pole of Passion, you have found that meaning is created by you, not handed to you, and then what you are observing becomes what you wish for it to be as relevant to your Being. This is Passion. You may have thought that Passion meant excited or wildly enthusiastic, and while those things are part of Passion, they are not the only part. The core of Passion and Reserve is CREATING MEANING, but with Passion, it is CREATING MEANING and ABSORBING THAT MEANING as an extension of who you are. Self-actualizing. In other words, it is the circuit of energy that is created by creating meaning in what you observe, and observing that the meaning you create is an extension of you, a part of you manifested, actualized. Through Self-Actualization, there is then a movement from the negative pole of Observation's Surveillance, and a move into the positive pole of CLARITY. This happens for you because you no longer distance yourself from that which you observe, but find that you are a part of what you observe, as well, bringing clarity to your observation, rather than a disconnection. ### You may discuss this content in the private session post.     [Excerpted from Infinite and Transcendental Souls, the Logos, Pathos and Ethos, which is a transcript in the Fringe and Whackadoodle Studies Club.] [Geraldine] We'd like topic-length information on what the Infinite Soul/Transcendental Soul does and how the Logos operates. We've had 3 non-terrestrial IS and the remainder have been human. Have those all been from the human design? How does the Logos separate into Truth, Love, Energy. Why have some IS only been after disasters? Why are others apparently in the middle of prosperity? MEntity: The non-terrestrial Infinite Souls were not of Human Design, but the manifestation of the Infinite Soul as it is represented by another species' Sentience (Design) is rather standard for any early Sentience of another Species. This is because there are no cycled-off Essence or Entities from that "new" Design capable of hosting the Infinite Soul. However, because the Infinite Soul only ever represents Universal Truths, it does not matter that it initially manifests through a different species' Design. Every species' eventually takes on the responsibility for providing its own Transcendental and Infinite Soul manifestations, for no other reason than that this is a natural evolutionary process of incarnation for Essences, as in Soul Ages, for cycled off Entities and Cadres. While there is great emphasis on the 5 Soul Ages, there are actually 7, and all of "you" will go through those in some way, in some when. As mentioned in another exchange with you, it is fairly standard that any new Sentience is accompanied by a stabilized Sentience already in cycle. In other words, no new Design in introduced without the guidance of fragments from at least one other Design. Depending on the evolutionary "speed," population, and geography/demographics of the new Sentience, the caretaker Sentience/Design would host between 1 and 12 Infinite Soul manifestations as necessary in the beginning. We have not seen more than 12. 3 appears to be average. As you may have noticed throughout the Design of Sentience, there are a multitude of ways through which Fragments, Entities, Cadres, and Energy Rings resonate mathematically as part of the initial dynamics, which are then expanded upon through Monads, Karma, and Configurations throughout the incarnational cycles, all contributing to the gravity that will eventually reunite all in the high planes. It could be said that Designs are originally organized mathematically, but then build from that the musical resonances that compel the reunion. Musical Resonance is Mathematical Resonance, exalted. In that same way, Designs are also linked, both mathematically and eventually musically, in a way that draws them together in the high planes. The Mathematical Resonance is built in as part of another level of organization of Sentience that supersedes the system familiar to you now, and includes "Pods," which we will explore at another time; part of the Musical Resonance is generated by the relationships generated by the Infinite Soul manifestations in those early incarnations. This Musical Resonance among Designs is generated by the interventions that tend to save the species from extinction. This is a rather profound experience for both parties, of course. In terms of how Logos is brought to bear: Because teaching of a high order tends to require a form that is relevant to a species, the Infinite Soul tends to emphasize the Higher Intellectual, or Logos, the Truth, Higher Expression because there has to be a relevant delivery system. Most manifestations would then include speech, writing, or other form of Expression that delivers the higher knowledge. This is why we tend to refer to these manifestations as bringing the Logos to bear, but in other species, the Ethos or Pathos may be the primary delivery system. In ALL instances, regardless of the emphasis for delivery, Logos, Ethos, and Pathos will be built in. Or the Truth, Beauty/Energy, and Love, respectively. Every Infinite Soul manifestation brings one of these three THROUGH Logos, much like Center/Part might be understood. Because your species is rather Expressive/Intellectual, the delivery system accommodates this by being Expressive, Intellectual, The Word. Transcendental Souls will tend to be more flexible in this, and act as pathways or preparations to the Infinite Soul manifestations. It could be said, then, even if crudely, that the Transcendental Souls, or high Causal bodies, emphasize Ethos, Logos, and/or Pathos, as potential paths to the Infinite Soul, or high Mental bodies, if that manifestation would be necessary. As if Transcendental acts as "parts" for the "centering" that is the emphasis for Infinite Soul. Again, this is a crude analogy, but can work in helping to understand the dynamic. Though we use the term Logos to describe that delivery system, Logos can emphasize the Truth, Love, or Energy that are Universal and necessary for help of a species. For instance, Lao Tzu emphasized Truth, while Jesus emphasized Love, and Buddha emphasized Energy/Beauty. Logos, Pathos or Ethos are packaged and delivered almost always through the Logos as a primary delivery system. We would also clarify that though there are emphases on Truth, Love, or Energy as it varies among the Infinite Soul manifestations and as it comes through the Logos, there will also always be Truth, Love, and Energy combined in some way. The Infinite Soul tends to manifest in both extremes of disaster and danger, and in times of prosperity, much in the same way that any higher understanding finds a platform. Most species only tend to open to higher perspectives when faced with peril, or prosperity. Especially en masse. ... [Oscar] How long do ISs 'live' and how do they accomplish their goal in such a short time? MEntity: The fragments who host the Infinite Soul live as long as they choose, but manifestation of the Infinite Soul is never more than approximately 30 days. The effects are long-term, and not always as intended; this is understood as part of the dynamic of Choice, of course. The intentions are rarely accomplished within the lifetime of the host, or during the time of manifestation, but act more like seeds. These "seeds" are then dismissed, hoarded, destroyed, nurtured, hidden, etc as relative to the choices of those exposed to them. However powerful a manifestation of Infinite Soul, it cannot "save" anyone; it can only offer the Logos. [Brian_W] Perhaps this is more of a question on human nature than the TS / IS, but it seems with each incarnation of a TS / IS, a new religion is formed and much of the original ideas taught by the TS / IS are lost (perfect example being Jesus and teaching love, not dogma / rituals). Has there been a case where the original ideas taught were not "lost" upon those who heard the message from the TS / IS, or where the original ideas were continued to be carried down through generations? MEntity: Your perception is valid. When the teacher dies, so does the teaching, and turns into literature or interpretation, and as such is subject to the influences of those who convey that literature or interpretation. There tends to remain the original "seed," no matter what, but often clouded and distorted. Taoism remains the least-distorted of these seeds. [Bobby] Why did an IS manifest during Jesus' time? There wasn't any peril pending so was it because it was an especially prosperous period for mankind? MEntity: The impending shift from Baby to Young on the planet at that time was heading for disastrous consequences. The manifestation through Jesus was an attempt to bring the Logos of Love and Agape to the planet, not only for the sake of helping transition retain some sense of compassion and empathy, but to help those who would naturally fall into the lower economic or social positions create and nurture meaning in ways other than material. Christianity is an example of how those "seeds" were lost overall against the prevailing patterns of choices, and the use of such seeds by a Young Soul population, but remained intact for those who chose otherwise. However painful the transition was from Baby to Young, the alternatives were far worse. By "worse," we mean that in those parallels where the Infinite Soul did not manifest, or where the Logos was rejected entirely, all sense of meaning and empathy were lost to those who did not have a material means of reflecting personal value. This is disastrous, even to the early Young Souls, as the system and symbols for those material reflections must be worked out, agreed upon, and explored before being utilized. If there is no patience, compassion, and empathy along the way, a halt to any interest in "being alive" comes in. Mass suicides and genocides, along with a sudden drop in birth rates, ended some parallels of exploration at that time. Much of the biblical accounts are the struggles between the use of patience, empathy, and compassion as applied through Order and Authority (Baby Soul) while forging ahead with competition, oppression, materialism, and exploitation, often tied up in fertility rites and roles for propagating populations that would comply (Young Soul). These distractions with fertility rites and population growth/control were partially in response to the known fear that the species might have been affected by this shift. [Geraldine] Once the IS has manifested, and I presume has undergone Review after the death of its host body, does it remain separate from its Cadre or remerge back in? MEntity: The Infinite Soul requires no review, at least in the same way that we understand a review to entail. The Infinite Soul is Tao, manifested, but as such, is hosted first through the emphasis of the plane of Logos (truth, love, or energy), which can come from any three of the high planes, which is then hosted through the high Mental bodies (usually a Cadre) from the Mental Plane, which is then hosted through a 7th Level Old Essence in a body. This process is a means by which Tao can manifest into denser forms that can then be utilized by the densest of those forms. Though Tao is "everywhere," to manifest the Logos in such a way requires a kind of stepping down of the energy in a way that can accommodate the final host. As such, there is no real "remerging" necessary, but there is a kind of conversion or dispersion of the energy that was used in the process, and this becomes the "seeds" of which we spoke earlier. The host of any Infinite Soul would go through the usual processes of Review and reunion with Entity, etc. The period of time used for Manifestation is not a part of the Review. [Oscar] Does the host always die after the manifestation of the IS, or are there also cases where the IS leaves and the host continues? MEntity: In response to OSCAR: the host does not always die after manifestation, but this depends upon many factors. Often the manifestation is intentionally timed for the ending of the life, so as not to interfere with the choices of the fragment hosting, and sometimes the manifestation, itself, is rejected so profoundly that the host is killed. Often, there is no physical death involved, such as is the case with Jesus, but the rejection takes on symbolic form and becomes a kind of legend or myth, to support the rejection. It is true that there was an attempt to kill this fragment, but he did not die, and continued on with a "normal" life of study, teaching, and development of a family for many years beyond "the crucifixion." This is acceptable, as it frees the host from continued linkage to the Manifestation. [Bobby] In India? What were the equivalent teachings for Lao Tzu and the Buddha (Siddhattha Gotama) MEntity: In response to Brian: Tao te Ching in general is rather "pure" overall in its capacity for adapting to the intelligence of any individual for use as an oracle for guidance. In terms of Buddha, all parts of the teachings regarding the consistency of Energy, Change, and Cause and Effect tend to be "pure." [Maureen] So the actual Logos - as a Teaching - is aimed at the People and Time Period in which the IS appears? MEntity: In response to Maureen: that would be valid to some extent. The Logos, as a delivery system, always accommodates the overall capacity of intelligence and means of access for those incarnating at the time, but is always Intellectual/Expressive, and will always be True, regardless of time or population. [Geraldine] Since both Ra and Krishna appeared at about 6,000 BCE -- were they a) actually simultaneous manifestations of the IS; and b) what was the common core message that they were trying to teach? MEntity: In response to Geraldine: Ra and Krishna, each, were manifestations that emphasized partnerships and understanding of human origins as being from off planet, though from different angles. Ra emphasizing this almost literally, but through Energy/Beauty emphasis in the Logos, and Krishna through Ethos and Truth. Krishna is one of only a few examples of a Transcendental Soul manifesting Infinite. [AnnH] If Earth is transitioning again from Young to Mature, and we've had two TS manifestations since the last IS, and the Earth is in some peril regarding population and its health, why is no IS showing up now? Or soon, anyway. MEntity: In response to ANN: so far, in parallels of which "you" are aware, there has always been a precarious balance kept in place that has neither removed the possibility or necessity for an Infinite Soul manifestation, nor required one. This thin line continues to be walked. There are several candidates who continue to remain potential hosts for the Infinite Soul if it were to manifest, and at this time, this continues to be the state. In other words, so far, the species appears to continue toward using its own capacity for pulling up from peril, and does not require intervention. This does not mean that there is no need for some social transformations, and so the planet may see more and more Transcendental manifestations over the next 50 years or so. MEntity: In response to Oscar: the manifestation appears to have happened halfway through his intentions to be "enlightened" through persistent meditation, and then about 2 weeks beyond that, giving rise to the "four noble truths," which were then built upon.

The key, however, is that it is not a static state. It is an evolving, shifting, and adaptive state of seeing and being seen. Intimacy for Observation Mode is killed if someone locks him or her in one version of himself or herself. If the one in Observation does not allow for the variations and facets of others, but locks them into one preference or expectation, this begins to repel the other.

Is there anything in particular that is helpful in working with the 2nd CF? How does it affect relationships–and/or does it affect relationships more than the Primary CF? MEntity: We would, then, say that there are three tiers to the effects of a Chief Feature, making a Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Chief Feature system. Primary Chief Feature affects the GOAL; the Secondary affects the MODE; the Tertiary affects the Attitude. It is NOT that there are three distinctly different Chief Features in your Overleaves, but that there are three AREAS in which a Chief Feature will be distinctly visible. Although these areas may very well have three distinctly different Chief Features, it is also quite common to have one Chief Feature rule all three areas. These areas, then, would be the areas of Self-Fulfillment, Relationship-Fulfillment, and Philosophical Fulfillment, or the Goal, Mode, and Attitude, respectively. The Chief Feature that affects the Mode is the Chief Feature that affects your experience of EXPRESSION. In addition, then, the Chief Feature that affects your GOAL affects your experience of ACTION, while the Chief Feature that affects your Attitude affects your experience of INSPIRATION.

Imagination is incorrectly distrusted, when in reality it is your highest form of contact with various nonphysical aspects of life. There IS a difference between delusion and perception, however. Delusion requires you to enforce a vision, while a memory of a past life, or perception, “happens.” [JNelson] But can’t you create things completely original with your imagination? [Michael_Entity] Yes, you can create something completely original with imagination. Past Life Recall, as we said, “happens,” while creativity is actively pursued, which can lead to delusions. If you are seeking recall, for instance, in meditation, your differentiation will be more difficult, but the validity can come in the determination of the “past life’s” significance NOW. If you are more entertained than empowered, it is more likely delusion. If there is relevance and meaning even if only symbolically to you NOW, then it is more than likely a Past Life Recall in some form. We refrain from saying “it might be your imagination,” simply because Imagination is a large context that includes both delusion and memory/perception. Most of your own memories within a lifetime are based on Imagination. Most valid past lives, though, as they become available and however vague, will have direct relevance to your life. They are recalled for a reason. Active pursuit of past lives can lead to delusion, only because most have expectations and scripts for what they must experience.

These are excerpted in this article. MEntity: As many of you already understand, the Overleaves that we use to describe a year do not describe energies that are being imposed upon a frame of time, but rather a description of the energies being generated collectively during that frame of time. The same could be said of your own Overleaves: your own overleaves are descriptions of genetic dynamics that have a spectrum of manifestations that are described by the Overleaves. You are not "confined" by those Overleaves any more than you are "confined" by the fact that you are human, for instance. In other words, Overleaves for a year, or for a person, describe patterns that are generated from within the structure, but how those patterns are used, directed, rejected, exploited, etc., are still rather limitless. ... When a student receives or deciphers his or her Overleaves, it will never truly matter if those Overleaves are 100% "correct" if the aim of that student is to aim for the Positive Poles. This is not to say that there are not correct Overleaves, but that it is the aim that makes the difference, not the words. If a Sage thinks he is a Warrior and aims for Persuasion instead of Dissemination, the mere act of aiming for his idea of a Positive Pole Warrior will make him a Positive Pole Sage. ... [Angela] Earlier you mentioned overleaves being a description of genetic DYNAMICS, can you explain more about these dynamics and their influences? MEntity: All Overleaves are genetic, in that they can be found in the DNA of every individual, and this is what springs forth in creating the body and Personality. There is more "nature" to a person than "nurture," in other words, even though there is a mix, and the choices of the individual can affect how either are emphasized. If one were to use our system alongside the study of genetic markers, there would be a time when Overleaves can literally be found in the DNA of an individual. Personality structures are rooted and blueprinted in genetics, but built from the experiences of the life. [Angela] could ALL overleaves be encoded in an individual's DNA? or only the ones specific to that person In the same way that a Body is predesigned to a great degree, but experiences such as food, climate, activities can alter that design, so are Personalities born and raised. The entire set of Overleaves could be found in every individual, but only certain markers to activate code combinations. We are speaking through a non-medical channel, so our terminology is limited. [Kathryn41] so this is how a walk-in can essentially 're-wire' the genetic markers over time to reflect the new overleaves - makes sense MEntity: Those Overleaves that are not the individual's would be dormant, and are rarely activated in replacement of others. When there is an alteration of the active overleaves, it is usually limited to the axis. For instance, a "walk in" might activate Growth over Re-evaluation, etc. [Angela] can beliefs be used to activate these code combinations? MEntity: The alteration of one's DNA by beliefs is about as easy as concentrating hard to change your hair color, or skin color. One can always mask or alter those things, but cannot truly change them.

Cadre 2, Entity 2 often draws conclusions before true wisdom has come. However, when that integration does come, Cadre 2, Entity 2 fragments can be profound sources of insight, knowledge, and wisdom for the Cadre and Energy Ring. We are speaking of Cadre 2, Entity 2 in terms of collective themes as a whole and not specific to one fragment or another.

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: March 2002] [essencess] How can one shift the cellular memories and all that that brings up to a new truth of peace on this planet now… I mean memories of war. [M_Entity] Until all fragments on the planet have been touched on all levels in deeply important ways by war, then there will continue to be war. With the shift from Young to Mature Soul Consciousness on the planet, a great deal of Late Baby and Early Young are feeling anxious and in need for making their marks. They have not been touched emotionally by war, only intellectually or physically. We speak of these fragments in terms of their collective lifetimes, not this particular one. All Souls engage in war, willingly, at some point in the incarnational cycle for varying reasons and on varying levels and degrees. You may not be able to change the choices of those fragments wishing to participate in or create war, but you can personally make choices and decisions in ways that will alleviate the impact on you as much as possible. There is no way to “escape” the physical plane, but you will always have choices. With that being said, we believe CHOICE then is the best way to “shift cellular memories.” Many of you who have experienced what might be called atrocities of war, are now quite repulsed by the entire concept. Making conscious choices can change anything, even if only on a personal level. Within the context of War, we think taking time out to resonate harmony outward and to the planet is much more than a fantastical daydream; THIS DOES CONTRIBUTE. Closing yourselves off from the reality of the situation on the planet will not change anything. There is a war occurring on your planet and you are affected, whether only energetically or specifically. Decide to what degree you feel you can contribute to the emphasis of certain choices available and act on that. By this we mean, if you feel volunteering time in some way helps make the world a better place, and then do it. If you feel meditating and inviting harmony for all will help, then do it. Many of you have clever and appropriate and affecting ideas, but do not implement them. The physical plane requires Action; therefore, in some way, the body must be used to help bring change. We remind you that we do not have an investment in whether you participate or not, whether you care or not. We are merely responding to your question. We do not share this to tell you what to do, but rather to point out the discrepancies between wanting change and making change. Choice and Action will be your tools, whether relieving your cells or your local neighbor. [JNelson] If the entire world decided that gravity did not exist, would it cease to exist? [M_Entity] Yes. It really is that simple. But we doubt any Sentience will choose that route of destruction when there are more creative paths requiring less patience and time. What most will do when in want of overriding a World Truth, such as Gravity, are to find means to defy those Truths, such as flying, space travel, etc. This does not change the Truth, but it does change how you relate to the Truth. [JNelson] Have many such drastic changes happened in the past? [M_Entity] We have never seen a change in a World Truth on that scale. There are truly “root assumptions” hardwired into the fabric of a soul that allow the game to be played. We would call these Natural World Truths. On the other hand, Generated World Truths, such as War, do change.

The term “subtle energy” has been used quite frequently lately and many of us are curious, from a physical standpoint, what frequency and energy range does it fall under on the electromagnetic spectrum for us to detect and harness it? Does it propagate on, parallel to, or perpendicular to the existing electromagnetic spectrum? [MEntity] We may fall short again in terminology through this channel, but we can say that subtle energies fall just beyond the range of what you would call Electric and Magnetic Fields and frequencies. At this point, we know of no reliable means for detecting these without a living system involved, such as the musculature responses of a human body, which convert these into something observable, and without considering the concept of a empty space, or a vacuum in the calculations. We do think it is valid to consider subtle energies as being a kind of “vertical” energy vs the “horizontal” energy of observable energy. All subtle energy would require conversion, if harnessing or directing it were to be an aim. We are doing our best to convey the details through this channel, and we would suggest continuing to ask these questions in different ways at different times to help in generating a clearer picture.

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2002] [mdfsage_val] How would an Idealist relate to the chief feature of Martyrdom/greed? [M_Entity] The Idealist sees everything in terms of how it can be improved. This can be a benefit, in that it can help a fragment find ways to successfully evolve many things within the life, Personality, and Essence, but it can also lead to tremendously oppressive bouts of comparing. When the Idealist is seeing through the Positive Poles, he can see the patterns that would lead to an evolution of an event, person, or thing, and he will move toward supporting, creating, or altering energy to align with that pattern. When he is seeing through the Negative Poles, he simply reverts to the use of “SHOULD,” and merely sees the major gap between the way things are and how they SHOULD be. Using the Chief Features of Martyrdom and Greed, the Idealist may feel that the gap between where he is and where he should be is too far out of his control and hopeless (martyrdom). He may tend toward being a physical, emotional, spiritual, or intellectual “black hole” that cannot seem to find anything to fill the gap so painfully perceived (greed). This response is but a simplified response, but we believe this will allow you some insights.

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2008] [Question] I am at a cross road in my life path. I am a healer and I don’t know where to go in my life at this moment. I am thinking of moving to New Mexico, but in my heart I want to create and set up a healing center. Also who the heck am I really? What did I come here to do in this life? [Michael Entity] Though we cannot respond to you in any way that is direct and personal through this format, we can say to the last question, in general, that you “came here” to do what you want. There are no assignments. There is only choice. There are ideas that Essence has before the life begins, but these are only ideas, not assignments or anything one could interpret as a “purpose.” You are here to learn how to choose, and to choose how to learn. It really is that simple. In terms of “who am I, really?” we can only say that this question can never have a conclusive answer. All of the answers that we could give or that you could give would be indications and symptoms of who you are, but WHO you are is not so easily defined. You are a conglomeration; an ever-changing creation; a witness to the varying ways of being that you try on. In other words, you are who you feel and think you are at any given moment. If you are confused, be confused. It’s not permanent. If you are lonely, be lonely. It’s not permanent. If you are happy, be happy. It’s not permanent. But these things are “who you are” at the moment. What most fragments do is spend more time on the past or future of themselves so that they miss the moment of who they are. That is all you can ever be: who you are in the moment. And it changes. To answer this more specifically, we would have to speak with you outside of this format, but we can say that your cross-roads is merely an opportunity for creating the path that you most wish to pursue. We would say that you are quite clear about what you wish to do, but simply fear the obstacles that might be ahead. Our telling you that you are “on the right path” will not remove those obstacles. The only thing that can help in clearing your path is your enthusiasm and trust in yourself as you take your next steps. We have more to say on this subject, if sought through another format.

    September, 2008 The 9 Pillars aka “trues” Many of you have heard “True Work (Life Task);” “True Play;” True Rest;” and “True Study.” These are known as the 4 “Pillars of Vitality.” They create a quadrant. These were the most immediately applicable for most of our students once there is comprehension of the Overleaves. In fact, none of the “trues” are very practical if the Overleaves are not validated, accurate, and understood. True Work, or the Life Task, is the core of each Quadrant. This is because the Life Task is anchored to the Goal for the life in the Overleaves and its fulfillment pulls from all layers and dimensions of the Personality, Essence, and Life. The initial triad of Play, Rest, and Study is the first ring of support for the Life Task or Goal of the life, creating the most immediate quadrant. True Work and Life Task can be used interchangeably, though some of our channels and students prefer differentiating the two. True Work is a listing of suggestions for how to fulfill the Life Task through action, but these suggestions often work against the idea of the Life Task because the list is taken literally and is often given as various occupations. All suggestions for any “True” are meant as just that, suggestions, and not as a limited list of assignments. All “Trues” are relative to the current Personality and its relationship with Essence, Others, and Life. “Trues” are not static, even within a lifetime. “Trues” are assessed as a collection of factors that include the history of Essence in other Bodies (past lives), the original intent of the Essence for the lifetime, and the current intent of the Personality. Considering all of these factors helps to generate a self-sustaining matrix through which both Essence and Personality can function and manifest within the Physical Plane. The first quadrant of “Trues” is the Personal Quadrant, or Pillars of Vitality, and they are True Work, True Play, and True Rest, of course (adding the Life Task creates the quadrant). If these are addressed, the Personality co-creates with Essence and feels alive, dynamic, and directed. The awareness and benefit is of the immediate well-being of self. While this quadrant is of use at any point in the process of lifetimes, this quadrant is usually of primary implementation and development during from Mid-Young Soul cycle through Mid-Mature Soul cycle. The second quadrant of Trues is the Community Quadrant, or Pillars of Harmony. If these are addressed, the Personality and Essence co-create in a way that includes consideration of consequences, impact, and exchanged effects on the self as it exists within a body, environment, and community. These Trues are known as True Home, True Health, and True Spirit. While this quadrant is of benefit to know at any point during the incarnational cycles, it is most often implemented and developed from Mid-Mature to Mid-Old Soul. True Home is any variable or element within the immediate environment outside of the Body that tends to create an exchange of harmony. True Home can be described as geographical locations or “zones,” or in terms of elements such as general weather, temperature, types of nature, colors, etc. For the most part, True Home may tend to be a combination of two Zones. There are 7 Zones: “Ocean,” “Desert,” “Wilderness,” “Jungle,” “Plains,” “Urban,” and “Mountain.” One does not have to relocate in order to implement the benefit of True Home. If one’s True Home is in the “Desert Zone,” for example, even if one is geographically located in an “Urban Zone,” decorative elements can be used in the immediate environment to draw in the energy of the Desert Zone. In fact, the type of nature, colors, weather, and temperatures that can help to describe True Home could be said to all be extensions from one of the 7 Zones. Creating one’s True Home can help one to feel in harmony with his immediate environment in a way that brings more of Essence and Personality into the community. True Health is a description using percentages of emphasis that one might consider for optimum physical health in terms of interaction with the environment. These percentages are suggested as divided among 7 categories that describe a physical body’s “diet.” These 7 categories are described by as Exercising, Feeding, Socializing, Sleeping, Schooling, Entertaining, Meditating. One’s True Health may have more of an emphasis of percentage on Feeding, Sleeping, and Socializing as a means to support health, over someone else who might have higher percentages in Schooling, Entertaining, and Meditating. ALL categories are addressed in the daily life of a Personality, but being aware of what most immediately and effectively supports the overall health, one can sustain well-being and balance within the exchanges between the body and community. We can suggest percentages across all 7, but a more practical approach might be to simply be aware that ones True Health could be described as a combination of 2 or 3 categories of emphasis. True Spirit is one’s medium within an environment for encouraging expression of Essence more fully. There are 7 media: Independently-Mobile Beings (e.g. animals), Dependently-Immobile Beings (e.g. plants), Ritual, Labor, Arts, Technology, and Communication. One’s True Spirit is usually a combination of 2 or 3 media. There are 7 “zones,” “diets,” and “media” in the above because they are on the level of interaction with environment and community, and this lends itself to a sort of structuring that is unique to this quadrant. The last quadrant could be described as the Planetary Quadrant, or the Pillars of Transformation. If these are addressed, the Personality and Essence co-create in a way that contributes to the evolution of the self, the planet, and sentience. These are True Love, True Core, and True Gift. While these can be important at any point during a cycle of lives, it is during the Old Soul Age that these begin to feel vital to comprehend. True Love is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together to generate Agape from Personality and Essence into the world. True Core is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together for embedding one’s Truth into the world. True Gift is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together for amplifying one’s Courage into the world. When any of our students ask us about these 9 Trues, or 3 Quadrants/Pillar groups, our responses are always our interpretation and suggestion, but we encourage our students to validate and discover their own interpretations and suggestions. Each Quadrant or group of Pillars would do well to have more elaborate attention.

[MEntity] It is valid that each of the True Work, Play, Study, Love, Core, and Gift can be delineated into 7 broader categories for each, but these would not be as personalized as our choosing more specific terms for you on an individual basis from within those categories. For instance, True Work *could* be described as being the same as your Goal, but this would lend no insight into that specific Life Task, or methods for implementing that Life Task, even as it may fall under the broader umbrella of Growth, Acceptance, etc. Or True Play might be understood as relative to your Attitude, and your means of forming Expression; or True Study as relative to your Mode, and your means of igniting Inspiration. True Love tends to be relative to the Level within Soul Age. True Core tends to be relative to Soul Age. And True Gift tends to be relative to Chief Features (or the means through which one transcends or transforms the Chief Features). We can delineate these in more detail at another time, but this is a start.

Because the Goal of the Personality tends to encompass how one's actions interact with the world, the Primary Chief Feature affects the Goal. So the Primary Chief Feature describes your obstacles to being effective in both the world and in reaching your Goal. ... Arrogance is the means that one decides upon when it is determined that "the world" is looking too closely at you, or that you were exposed to the world in some way that threatened your trust in vulnerability. Arrogance often goes hand in hand with Acceptance because of the inherent nature of the Goal of Acceptance. Acceptance is the goal of second, third, and fourth (or more) chances as a way to try to accept someone, or as a way to convince someone that you are acceptable.This vulnerability is fueled by a form of innocence for a long time, but if that vulnerability is betrayed or brings too much attention to you in a way that leaves you exposed, the protection against vulnerability begins to build. For those in Acceptance with Arrogance, the shift tends to move away from BEING Accepted, to being Accepting. ... For those in Acceptance, the capacity to see everything is high, but this is not a skill many have. So it is easy to begin to show others only what you choose to show them. Arrogance then begins to make an art of appearing as personable and open as possible so that everyone thinks there is nothing being hidden. But for those in Arrogance, there is always something hidden, and it is a dark secret among those in Arrogance that they are just waiting for someone to see past the facades and into the dark. This is when they "know" they might finally be loved. But even when those in Arrogance are finally seen, there is defense is so entrenched that the love is not felt. This is most often seen in if there are symptoms where compliments are dismissed or shrugged off as if they are pandering or misguided social gestures. Arrogance/Acceptance learns how to keep others at a distance by turning the attention back onto others with kindness, compliments, or help, so any gestures of this nature in their own direction are determined to be insincere. Eventually, Arrogance/Acceptance decides that only he or she truly knows how to love and to accept others, but that others will never truly know how to love and accept them. For the older soul, this is how Vanity, the Negative Pole shows up. "I am better at loving than you are." A carefully orchestrated facade is constantly maneuvered between the self and the world and then it is wondered why no one truly sees you. When Arrogance moves into the positive pole of Pride, this often shows up for the older soul in his or her appearance. There is a certain amount of investment in taking care of the self so that it is presentable. For those in Arrogance, as soon as there is any streak of time when interactions decline, appearance, self-care, hygiene, clothing choices, etc., all begin to lose significance. Only if one is being seen, even if superficially, do these things matter anymore. ... For those in Arrogance as primary chief feature, it can be helpful to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE - go be around people; go do something, and better yet, interact with people. This is not the same thing as tolerating people and being superficial, but actually being a part of a group who shares interests, hobbies, goals, etc. Let this idea of "get out of the house" extend into "house" meaning anything into which you find yourself hiding. For example, it may mean "get out of your skin" or "get out from behind your children" or "get out of your routines." Anything that actively exposes you to the world again in a way that you choose. Another way that you can help transform Arrogance is to LET PEOPLE LIKE YOU. By this we mean that you actively embrace every kind gesture sent your way, regardless of its depth. If someone smiles at you, let that in. If someone thanks you, let that in. And, of course, anything deeper in meaning, let that in, as well. And, finally, for those in Arrogance/Acceptance, this one can be the most painful and difficult aspect to accept and transform as a way to move up and out of Arrogance: STOP BEING BETTER THAN THE WORLD We say that in a tongue-in-cheek way, but it is true that many in Arrogance, particularly in Arrogance/Acceptance, sense that they are simply not a part of the world, that they are simply enduring it, and that they are better than most. For the older soul, this does not show up in the same way that it shows up for younger souls. In younger souls, this shows up as blatantly self-indulgent and entitled, over-confident, offensive, etc. But for the older soul, this shows up as "why can't you see what I see" and "people are stupid" or "the world has gone insane" or "I guess I will do all of the loving, thinking, and feeling that others don't seem to be able to do" etc. So if similar thoughts or words pass through you, stop for a moment and put yourself back into the world, back into the picture, and embrace that you are a PART of the world, not above it or beyond it.     [Excerpt from Ask Michael: August 2014] Kurtis: Hi Michael, in the OMW section of this site I found some nifty information on how Aggression and Power Modes evolve intimacy. ... I was wondering if you could provide the same info for how the other modes evolve intimacy like those examples. Particularly Observation, Passion and Reserve, as most students here are or slide to those modes. MEntity: For Passion Mode, intimacy is evolved through each being extensions of the other. This can show up in a range between co-dependency and co-creation. Co-dependency expects the other to represent himself or herself. Behaving in ways that are outside of the range of Passion's own behavior can be startling and divisive. This can still lead to intimacy, depending upon the relationship, because some are drawn to Passion precisely for that context of personal transformation. If this is not an understood dynamic, it can be messy. This is usually the case when Passion is used or sought for teaching. Co-creation is a dynamic of inspiration that feeds from one another as Passion learns about the self through other. This is more appealing, as both are learning then. Both are teachers.

    [Excerpt from The Roles for Mature and Old Souls (Updated)] MATURE PRIESTS Mature Priests tend to find themselves struggling between HAVING POWER and BEING EMPOWERED. The Young Priest has discovered the value of power and control and seeks to use this at any cost to deliver compassion or to fulfill zeal. As the Young Priest evolves, so does the relationship with Power so that it is not a force for them to capture, wield, and impose, but is a force that is shared, nurtured, and invited. Mature Priests realize that Power is not unique and sacred to them in a way that must be protected, guarded, and reserved for their own ideals, but is a resource that can be brought out of others to help create a matrix of empowerment that many can use to effect and affect change. The Mature Priest must reconcile this relinquishing of individual Power for the sake of shared Empowerment. This can come as a relief to many Priests who thought they had to "do it alone," or save the world, or rescue the lives of loved ones, etc. There can also come a great resistance to this as the Mature Priest has been in control for so long, or at least thought she was. This resistance is usually met with a breakthrough when the Priest has a pivotal life where she is suddenly dependent upon the Empowerment of others for her own Power. In other words, the Priest experiences receiving the generosity and willingness of others to support a cause rather than she having to push or impose or force an ideal upon others. Eventually, reconciliation comes for the Priest when she learns that inviting and harnessing the willpower of others is more pleasantly powerful than to merely control and impose power over others as a way fulfill ideals. OLD PRIESTS The Old Priest is now all about Being Empowered. The Old Priest can no longer direct you, rescue you, save you, or push you toward what is best for you, or an ideal, or a great cause. She cannot function without your participation. Though the Old Priest may sometimes revert to the use of Power over others, it is almost vital for them to share in power, to Be Empowered, or they feel they cannot affect or effect change in any way. It is probably more devastating to the Old Priest to see and experience a lack of Empowerment in the self or in others, than to any other Role. It is physically painful for the Old Priest to watch a life or love or even the self not nurture personal power to bring about desired changes. This can sometimes trigger them to revert to old methods of using Power and come across as pushy, bossy, imposing, meddling, and manipulative. This is always a sign for the Old Priest to look at how to nurture the sharing of power rather than being the only one having power. Being the only one with power does nothing for the Old Priest. It is empty and breeds futility. The Old Priest loses almost all interest in TELLING others where they are going, or who they are, or how they are, and finds she is deeply interested in helping others to REMEMBER where they are going, remember who they are, and to remember how they got there.

    This material was obtained in a private session on November 24, 2014. Geraldine_B: I've become really aware of some very long time spans between Essence's incarnations, as in a million years or more at times. What do Essences “do” during these long pauses. How or what are they experiencing or learning? MEntity: Essences who spend great lengths of time between incarnations do a multitude of things that are too numerous to describe. It would be like trying to describe a detailed response to "what do people do who are alive?" We can describe both living and in-between lives as having an emphasis on experiences, learning, and choices, and while that is accurate because it can describe the larger context of all lives extant and non-extant, it does not give you a clear idea of the more mundane activities within those larger contexts. But here are some examples: Some act as guides and gain experience by their direct relationship through a fragment who is extant. If you are one of the Primary Guides, that time spent as guide "counts" as a lifetime. You gain the same experiences of the lifetime as the fragment extant, but from a very different angle. Having the experience of being extant, but from such a different angle, helps one to create one's own Personalities with greater insight and planning. This is why some fragments "remember" being a famous historic figure because he or she may have been a part of the network of guides for that fragment. The more influential and "positive" a fragment is in history, the greater the network of guides. The more influential and "negative" the fragment, there are fewer guides, if any. Other activities that span those lengths of time are "lifetimes" on the Astral. These are practice lifetimes, if you will. Groups of fragments will gather and run a simulation of ideas for lifetimes, playing out as many variations as possible. Other activities are that the Essence can pull from the library of lifetimes already processed by any fragment and "live" that lifetime out on the Astral. Not everyone will be a Hitler, for instance, but in much the same way that not everyone will be a murderer, but still enjoy a violent and scary movie with murder as the plot, so will fragments be curious about those extreme lifetimes like that of Hitler. This is pulled and an Essence can play through it like a virtual reality game, trying to gain some insight or understanding from the most extreme of perceptions like this.     [Excerpt from a private session for Maureen on August 15, 2013] Maureen: Would you elaborate on the following statement you made on the Wholeness of Soul course: “Regardless of Soul Age, there will be truly “enlightened” Personalities within each Soul Age, relative to that Soul Age.” MEntity: First: in terms of "enlightened" lifetimes/Personalities, these tend to come in your 6th Level of the Soul Age. It tends to be the pivotal lifetime that helps shift into the 7th Level for that Soul Age. By "enlightened" here, we mean that the Personality loses the conflict between rationale and intuition. The conflicts between rationale and intuition tend to be at the heart of lifetimes where the Personality is asleep, or parts of the Personality are asleep. Rationale is the part of the Personality that is developed from tangible, linear, relative experiences and imprinting, while the intuitive is developed from comprehensive, holistic, and transcendent experience and empathy. Both are necessary for the Personality (and Essence) to navigate a lifetime, but these can be in conflict with one another in all or some parts of the life. When the battle between "what I know" and "what is wise" is shifted toward resolution, enlightenment cascades. Keep in mind that we do not disparage "what I know," and do not find that "what is wise" is helpful without what is known. But every fragment can look at his or her life and see that there are elements that refuse to awaken because of this conflict. Maureen: Is there any co-relation to becoming "enlightened" vs having the ability to be or become a Transcendental Soul? MEntity: For example: one may "know" that it is okay to live however one wishes to live, but there is the "wise" part that begins to comprehend the consequences of those choices in how to live. This is how one evolves. One gains experience upon which to build what she knows, and then learns to extrapolate from that by using wisdom. You would be correct, Maureen. The individual who embodies his or her entity, or hosts the Infinite Soul, will have worked to resolve, or will have resolved, all conflicts between the rationale and intuitive. Maureen: And the Transcendental Soul ...considering that it is experienced at the 7th Level? MEntity: The Transcendental Soul tends to find this as the fuel for the impulse to bring change, whereas the fragment who would host the Infinite Soul finds this as fuel for complete surrender. Maureen: I see... yes. MEntity: A Transcendental Soul would not have "levels" in the same way that we delineate the first five Soul Ages. It is true that there are Levels, but only one within the Physical Plane. Maureen: They would just "manifest"? MEntity: Transcendental Souls are born. Infinite Souls manifest. However, they do function in similar ways for much of the life. The Transcendental Soul gains access to the Entity only upon manifestation of his or her own Essence as representative. A Personality as Transcendental Soul can reject this access to Essence, as any Personality can, but it is rare. It is much easier for the host of the Infinite Soul to reject manifestation than it is for the Transcendental to reject the Essence. The reason for this is because the Infinite Soul must always have a host "on hand" for potential manifestation, but the manifestation is not always necessary, and so it is passed up, and because the Personality will always trump potential manifestation, there must always be "back up." However, the birth of the Transcendental Soul is planned quite specifically, and "everyone" is in on the plan, so it tends to unfold as planned, even if altered by various choices of the Personality.     [July 3, 2007] Although this will be in the podcast, most of you have been waiting for this since February, so I don’t want to delay any longer. I think it is so funny (in a sick kind of way) that the subject of Procrastination took so long to get done! hee hee I’d love for any of you with psychology or psychiatry backgrounds to comment on this! ENJOY! Troy [MICHAEL ON PROCRASTINATION July 2007] Procrastination is often seen as a personal problem to be solved or cured as a means to be more productive or to allow more fulfillment, but we have never seen this as an issue that is necessarily negative, but more an element within the personality that is misunderstood and can be harnessed in ways that do bring more fulfillment and productivity without having to engage in some internal battle. We would define Procrastination as “a preference for pleasure over productivity.” The root of Procrastination is not dread, as many have concluded, but OPTIMISM. There are very few fragments engaging in Procrastination that are not also engaging in a form of optimism; a trust that things will work out, that one will be able to handle the consequences, that others will be understanding, that one can correct a situation, that it is never “too late,” etc. Although this can look to be a negative trait because of the inconvenience it can cause, it is actually a deep trust that is simply misunderstood in your current culture of enforced ambition, time-centric definitions of responsibility, and immediate results. In an Older Soul world, time and productivity are never higher in priority over synchronicity and pleasure, but you do not live in an older soul world, so it is often not appropriate to disregard the current contexts of Young Soul values if one wants to participate in the world. To understand why one has inclinations toward what is called Procrastination can help one to make a more gentle choice to regard time and productivity as equally important values to pleasure and synchronicity. One does not have to choose one extreme over another, but can find a balance. Procrastination, like every other description of energy in your world, could be described as having Positive and Negative Poles: +Deliberation -Avoidance. In the positive pole, one uses Procrastination to simply do things at one’s own pace and sense of priority, ultimately getting things done, even if laced with pressure, disappointments, distress, anxiety, etc. In the negative pole there is either an inclination to busy oneself with trivial or distracting tasks to completely avoid the pressing responsibility, or a paralyzing of choice to do anything, choosing instead to do nothing. For those who engage in Procrastination, there is a similar pattern of imprinting that must be addressed before freeing oneself from the inner battle that is self-imposed. In nearly all cases of chronic procrastination, we have seen 3 influences that have not been fully addressed, each building upon the other: 1. resistance/distaste for authority; 2. by extension, an extreme distaste for absolute obligation; 3. by further extension, a distaste for lack of immediate reward/pleasure from the effort. These three influences are the inspiration behind the fragment’s sense of Optimism. This is because there is a subtle, if not strong, pleasure gained from holding out against the authority, obligation, and while it is not the most ideal reward, it is more rewarding than conceding. Many who practice Procrastination can attest to this habit being linked not only to the obvious obligations, but to experiences that could be seen as pleasurable, and this can be confusing. We suggest that it is not confusing, but that the “pleasurable” agenda that is avoided or delayed still has some kind of air of obligation attached to it, or Procrastination would not be involved. In nearly all fragments who engage in Procrastination, there is a history of some form of oppressive force in the life that required a form of Optimism as a means to endure and get through to the other side. This optimistic force is then used as a means to deal with any form of authority or obligation, to help keep a focus on dealing with the consequences and responsibilities on the other side of the avoidance and delays. For the most part, Procrastination then is harmless, even when it interferes with many obligations and responsibilities. If any procrastinator would look closely at his or her life, it would be evident that procrastination is NOT a factor in all aspects of the life, but in only those areas somehow interpreted as being imposed, even when those impositions are chosen or seen as potentially pleasurable. The pleasurable experiences that are avoided are often attached to the phrase, “I really should get around to doing that; that would be fun.” But even the pleasurable agendas can get categorized into “obligations” once a delay has already begun. The greatest pain caused by procrastination is when the adult becomes his or her own authority, but the distaste for authority and obligation remains without intelligent discernment of the source of authority. In other words, a division is created within the self between the aspect who assigns or chooses the obligations and the one who must carry it out. The distaste for oneself as authority is often overlooked as it is easy to displace this distaste as directed toward those indirectly involved with the choices or assignments one takes on. In addition, the more pain involved with procrastination, the more there is a tendency for that fragment to consume stimulants such as caffeine, sugars, and alcohol as a means to increase valid distractions for the body. It is important to note that the pain of procrastination is not caused by the procrastination, itself, but by the resistance to what has been deemed the “authority,” and when this is inherently the self, it is quite painful to divide oneself in this manner. In effect, the pain is a result of creating an “innocent” side of oneself vs a “bad guy” side of self. Having to manage the energy that it takes to sustain this division, along with the emotional impact of such inner rejection vs protection, can be exhausting. This is why we suggest that this is not a dynamic that is to be cured or overcome, but simply to be understood. Once this unnecessary division is comprehended, a wholeness begins to unfold as a form of freedom, expanding the ability to choose more appropriately to the life’s context. It has been speculated by many of our students that the Moving Center is somehow connected to procrastination as the Moving Center is also connected to productivity and movement, but the Moving Center is rarely the primary energy that is involved. More often than not, it is the Intellectual Center. As Optimism is the root of Procrastination, the Intellectual Center is called upon to be used as the means to justify the procrastination, providing a range between REASONS (negative pole) and INSIGHTS (positive pole) to carry the fragment through time until either the obligation passes, or the obligation is resolved at the “last minute.” The Intellectual Center can find a myriad of “reasons” and “insights” into why one can avoid or delay the obligations. On the negative end (REASON), there is lying involved and a lack of self-regulation that can lead to distractions with stimulations and escapism, which is directly related to the sense of helpless rebellion against authority, while the positive end (INSIGHT) is simply a lack of interest in practical or time-centric obligations as one takes on more important, bigger tasks with bigger rewards as deemed by the self. Soothing the effects of procrastination within the life means soothing the reactions to authority, which means telling the truth about the present, and acknowledging the past as the past. For most procrastinators, there is an element of the self that is locked in past battles with oppressive authorities and any indication in the present of another authority is a reliving of that distaste. Bringing the self into the present with the truth (“I am my own choice, not a result of someone else’s choice”) is a means to draw upon the Higher Intellectual Center as a way to bring wholeness to the process of choice and responsibility. It really is as simple as that. Beyond this, procrastination is a misnomer that describes a way of living life within a culture that upholds ambition and results as being a more stable sign of identity than it does pleasure and freedom. This is not to say that one should fall prey to the effects of procrastination to the point of being incapable of functioning in current times, but more that if one were to understand the inherent division and pattern contributing to procrastination, then one can find one's own definition of productivity and responsibility within the capabilities of the self, and not just defined by external factors. In other words, the external factors that one takes on are CHOSEN in most cases and these can either be chosen with more care and presence, or managed as a whole person telling the truth to oneself, without dividing oneself into authoritarian vs rebel. Tools for helping the body to be more present so that the Intellect and Higher Intellect can bring insight and truth to your choices: 1. scent of oranges, fresh or essential oil 2. removal or cutting down of stimulants 3. shaking meditation (stand, shake out every part of the body in as comical and fun a way as possible for as long as it feels necessary, then sit for focus) And remember: you are your friend, not your authority. This simple phrase could be the most profound in setting you free from the negative impact of procrastination.

[Michael_Entity] Though we do not specialize in that teaching through this channel, we can say that it appears you would be part of what is referred to as the HAWK Working Group. In terms of your Entity’s Theme in general, Entity 7 is geared toward the spectrum between Inculcation and Eclecticism; the positive and negative poles of any Entity 7. The themes within your particular Entity are highly active in Teaching. Most specialize in addressing troubled Personalities in some fashion, offering insight, healing or teaching. There are a great number of psychiatrists, ministers, and therapists (physical and emotional), and musicians with focus on healing as the result of their music. Andreas Vollenweider is a prominent example of the latter.

    [Excerpt from Ask Michael: March 2014] Kurtis: Hi Michael, I'd like to ask for elaboration on ... Reserve Mode.... MEntity: RESERVE MODE is the Ordinal, Inspiration Mode. Modes are how one RELATES, and the HOW of fulfilling the Goal. If Passion Mode is the approach to relationships and to fulfilling the Goal through the freeing of emotions, then Reserve Mode is the approach to relationships and to fulfilling the Goal through the refinement of emotions. Those in Reserve Mode are acutely aware of their feelings and the energy that flows behind those, but are quite selective about what is shared or released or put into use. If you think of emotional energy as a kind of fuel, then those in Reserve prefer to use their "fuel" only when it is necessary, efficient, or relevant. So those in the Positive Pole, RESTRAINT, will find strength in the building up of this energy for those uses where it is more necessary, efficient, or relevant. It is a kind of allocation process, and not one that is intent on ignoring or rejecting emotions. However, if Reserve falls into the Negative Pole, then this allocation process falls away from the strength of Restraint, and into INHIBITION. Inhibition is the same process, but with only the intention for protecting the emotions, or protecting one's "fuel."

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: March 2005] [Tibtyc] Good evening. If I understand the concept of 4th internal Monad (and my life) correctly, I did mine twelve years ago. Or at least started it. That happened rather dramatically. Now my life has come to a halt, like the end of a road. Could this be my 5th monad? The Monads remind me of the acts in an opera, or the movements in a symphony. How to differentiate between 4th and 5th internal Monad, or Monads generally? That is my question. [Michael_Entity] The 4th Internal Monad has an emphasis on REGAINING INNOCENCE, or put another way, Growing Into Your Own Idea of YOU. The 5th Internal Monad has an emphasis on RECREATING YOUR LIFE, or put another way, HAVING FUN. Your life has come to a halt simply for the sake of your “catching your breath.” There are 7 stages to every cycle of growth whether described in terms of a Monad or in terms of a relationship; 3 Exalted stages, 3 Ordinal stages, and 1 Pivotal/Neutral point. The Pivotal/Assimilative/Neutral Point is a point that can be called upon at ANY TIME during the process of the other 6 stages. This allows the Personality to gain its footing after a particularly difficult stage, if necessary. It is also the point in which you finalize a cycle so as to gain the benefits of the whole process you just completed. Some would call this point THE VOID. We agree with that phrase. [Tibtyc] Is the 4th stage like catching your breath? I mean the Neutral point. [Michael_Entity] What you are describing as a “halt” is more like a moment or period of time much like having your foot between two rungs on a ladder; except that you have forgotten that there is movement. With your emphasis on the suspension between steps, you may feel you are at a halt or even terribly ungrounded or non-directional. But we assure you that you are never at a halt. [Tibtyc] Actually the “halt” only refers to outer aspects. And I keep thinking of the do-re-mi system, the octave, [Michael_Entity] The 4th stage within either of the Monads would be MANIFESTATION, or the stage of tangibility.

    [Extracted from: Warriors and Warfare] GeraldineB: ... I'm grappling with the concept of Warriors and warfare. In cultures that do not have organized warfare, i.e., standing armies, what role does the "role of Warrior" play? I would like a brief overview of the expansion of warfare in human history. Expansion from inter-tribal conflicts or refugee movements due to crop failures or climate changes, etc., to outright "empire-building," such as was exhibited by Alexander "the Great." MEntity: First, our choice of the term "Warrior" was chosen from how we learned the term, rather than how the term has come to be fractured. Much like "Slave," the "Warrior" is often mistaken for its cultural and historic stereotype, which is a fraction of the range that is the Role. This is true of all of the Roles, of course, to some extent. Warrior, in our system, refers to those who, at their core, can rally for a cause, bring energy to a direction, encourage loyalty and compassion, invoke courage as a platform for change, etc. All of this can be used in war, but that is not the goal of the Warrior. It just happens that war requires this same kind of energy and loyalty to a cause. So in a culture where there is no war or standing armies, there are always causes, loyalties, need for protection, encouragement of courage, strength, anchoring, grounding, etc, that are needed and provided. GeraldineB: thank you for the clarification MEntity: Warriors, ironically, are often of the most passive and peaceful of Roles, but will burst forth without question or concern if there is necessity for protection, loyalty to an accepted cause, or defense of an underdog. In earlier Soul Ages, the Warrior is much easier to provoke in this regard, and therefore has come to be synonymous with fighting and warring, but it is the Priests who often exploited this in the Warriors. Most wars are are generated by the invocations of Priests. This is one of the reasons there is an inherent distrust between many Warriors and Priests as the Mature Soul Age comes around for them, and these Roles will often keep each other at a distance. Though that distance is kept in place as often as possible, the Karma generated between these Roles compels them to find one another and burn the Ribbons.

I was wondering if this is likely a function of overleaves or some combination of CF and false personality. [M_Entity] This is a particular trait of Artisans. “Missing” people whom you know within a lifetime can be a trait anyone can develop in their varying degrees of attachment, but Artisans tend to be the least likely to attach to an individual identity. Artisans, however, can be the most likely to have a feeling of “missing something” that cannot be defined, which is, of course, linked to their existence at the “edge” of creation and their innate knowing that all are “one.” This can lead to all kinds of fantastical and invalid ideas about who they are or are not “connected” to. This is not to say Artisans do not get attached to people, but usually they will choose a single individual, if any at all, and that person will not have to be “missed” because that Artisan would die before separating from them. We say that metaphorically, of course. The Overleaves themselves are not inherently geared toward or away from attachment, except in how they manifest the Chief Features and create or balance Karma.

In the context of this topic and the context of your question, we would say turn to your need. Your want for order needs to be recognized. Once it is recognized, once the form that you have brought out of the chaos is recognized and honored and (we do not like this word, but we will use it here loosely) respected, it is far easier for you to let go of the necessity for order. It is far easier for you to allow room for the chaos if you feel that that necessity, that want for order, is recognized. It is only when that is not recognized, when that becomes more of a priority, more of a defense, more of an importance to you. Do you understand? [Comment] Yes MEntity: We want to pause here for a moment to say that these needs are also capable of being fulfilled by yourself. They're not dependent on other people. It's nice when others, other fragments, are able to contribute, but you are not stuck meandering through life waiting for someone to recognize you. You can also bring that recognition to yourself. You can also recognize that you have brought order, and that it is beautiful, and that it is enough for now and to allow room for some chaos. Order to an Artisan is the equivalent of Beauty, because Beauty is basically the recognition of patterns within chaos, and in the case of Artisans, often the deliberate maneuvering of patterns to bring that Beauty out of chaos. MEntity: So to further respond to your question as far as detachment and stepping back: recognize that the order and the Beauty that you have sought to bring is actually there and not something that you must continually sustain at all costs. We are not speaking of their being capable of watching TV while sewing. We are speaking of actual life themes as they apply to Essence's digestion of them. Scholars, Warriors, and Kings move steadily and enduringly through their experiences until comprehension is attained. We say "comprehension" as it applies to ESSENCE, not necessarily Personality. Until the Older Soul Ages, Personality is not so concerned with comprehension simultaneously to Essence's comprehension. Question: This is a generic Michael question beyond just Inputs, but I'm wondering how Scholars keep "records" differently from other Roles. MEntity: Scholars not only manage their own Records, but as each Essence updates its own records within the Entity and Cadre, the Scholars update the Akashic Records. In other words, each Essence has its own "personal library", but the Scholar extends on that to make that information "universal". Keeping that information as up-to-date, so to speak, as possible allows many versions of consciousness and sentience to draw from it. This is the stuff of new universes. Scholars have One Input as having One Input increases the durability to indulge in specific experiences, rather than touching briefly on a theme, and then moving to new ones, then returning later with new awareness. Scholars complete their themes so as to have a "purer" experience.

Mature emphasizes the reconciliation between HAVING and BEING. And Old emphasizes BEING. Understanding this can help lend insights into the various Soul Ages and how the Roles manifest. ... MATURE ARTISANS The Mature Artisan has just come from an Age where it experienced being able to create and have everything it could possibly imagine within the constraints of resources at the time. The Mature Artisan now enters into an Age that must reconcile Having What It Wants and Being Who It Needs. Previous to this Soul Age, simply wanting something was often enough to have it, because it could either be created, or it could be discovered, and most of what was wanted was tangible and all "new" to the Artisan. In the Mature Soul Age, nothing tangible is "new" anymore, and what is most wanted is often intangible. This causes a struggle for the Mature Artisan so that cravings can often show up as a distraction with "things" as a means to compensate for the intangible, or as rejection of "things" as a means to hold out for the intangible. Mature Artisans can often find themselves in desperate relationships, devastating patterns of collapse and destruction, and manipulative methods for finding ways to be special. More than any other Role, this Role, in general, struggles with the inner battle between Specialness and Uniqueness. What the Mature Artisans eventually realize is that it is THEY whom they crave, desire, and want more than anything "in the world." Therein lies the reconciliation between Having and Being for the Mature Artisan. Artisans tend to develop patterns that leave them functioning only as conduits, often feeling as if "they" are left out, or left behind. During the Mature Soul Age, it is the first time in a long time that they "come home to themselves." And recognize their vital part in the equation of their desires and wants. Until that realization has been comprehended, there will be many instances where the Mature Artisan develops symbiotic relationships that continue to enforce the loss, or blurring, of self with environment or another. OLD ARTISANS The Old Artisan is often no longer concerned with creating tangible things, but struggles to make the entire life the creation, the work of art. Everything around the Old Artisan becomes symbolic and every symbol has meaning in relation to the self. The Old Artisan, then, is often tireless in the effort to showcase the life, the Personality, and even the relationships as symbolic extensions of the Soul. They become extremely sensitive to any deviation or distraction from their own symbology, and can often find themselves bewildered, hurting, and profoundly confused by these things. They develop systems of symbology that work, but often do not realize that these are not always the same symbols or meanings that others will tend to use. Eventually the Old Artisan realizes that there are a multitude of symbols and meanings for symbols that cannot be truly standardized, and this is when the Artisan is finally free. In conclusion for the Old Artisan, if the freedom is not found through the realization of various symbolic systems, then that Artisan may find he or she begins to tunnel-vision into a closed network that only supports his or her system of symbols, and anything beyond that is either a threat, or is ignored.

Anyway, thanks MEntity: In your case, we think your Body Type is composed of Venusian, Mercurial, Saturnine and Neptunian. ... Your Venusian Body Type is your Primary Body Type, in terms of Appearance, while your Mercurial is your Glandular/Health, and your Saturnine is Behavior or Nature. In terms of Appearance, the Venus Body Type gives you an approachable, warm, and inviting presence that is difficult to resist for many. The Venus Body Type deeply craves and gives affection, always willing to embrace. This Body Type tends to not only accentuate whatever this person feels is beautiful about himself or herself, but also brings out in others what that person feels is beautiful about himself or herself. ... In terms of diet, besides the obvious that is true for all bodies, such as higher portions of greens, vegetables, and fruits, in your case, the allowance for "comfort foods" is vital. Venusian Body Types require comfort in their diet, or whatever is eaten loses its value. This is not to encourage indulgence, of course, but to say that it important for the overall bodies to ensure that foods and even settings in which one eats those foods, is comforting and securing. Beyond that, we suggest exploring the supportive or detrimental foods that affect the Thyroid. As far as exercise, it would do you well to incorporate a form of Yoga into your lifestyle, and if possible, in a group. Your body "loves" to be around others, and allowing your exercising to be a group experience that is not strenuous, but pleasant and comforting among people, can do wonders for you on all levels.

    This article was originally posted in 2003. GUILT 101 [Michael_Entity]: “Guilt” is simply another funnel for the manifestation of the Chief Features. Guilt is fear-based and, although a valid method for experimentation, does little in regard to what it appears to be accomplishing, which is determined by most as “learning a lesson”. Many believe Guilt helps generate a certain amount of consciousness about one's behavior, but from our perspective, it is a false awareness. There are 7 forms of Guilt, each relating to the Chief Feature from which it stems. There are 2 sources of Guilt: Your own Guilt, related to your Primary and Secondary Chief Features; and The Guilt induced from someone else’s use of their own Chief Features. Based on your own Chief Features, it may be easy to identify what type of Guilt you experience, if any, but the Guilt induced from Others may be more difficult to identify. The depth and intensity of Guilt grows stronger as one progresses through the Chief Features. Self-deprecation Guilt is considered to be the most “useful”, and it is the most common and pervasive of Guilts. We do not agree that Self-deprecating Guilt is “useful”, of course, but many have claimed a benefit for feeling or imposing this type of Guilt, as it helps manage social situations. This Guilt is so acceptable and encouraged that even our own Students may find our perspective surprising. Self-deprecating Guilt can most easily be seen in “apologies”, “accommodation”, and “compromise”. We refer to all these terms in quotes as the ineffective, officious versions reflected from that place of heightened false courtesy. This Guilt is what is commonly considered “healthy” since it appears to allow a flow of events to occur with little interruption, as in “keeping your mouth shut”, or “not rocking the boat”, “not questioning”, “leave well-enough alone”, etc. We state that this Guilt is not truly useful or efficient, as it is not based in mutual consideration. Self-deprecating Guilt is extremely one-sided in its “benefit”. Most “apology” serves only to pacify and relieve responsibility in a situation, certainly not to evolve or resolve the situation. Again, Self-deprecating Guilt is so common and accepted that it may be difficult to see these “courteous gestures” and “sincerity” as Guilt induced. Self-deprecation Guilt stems from false and evasive consideration. Guilt in this form has its focus on irresponsibility. This Guilt says, “I’m so sorry” or “you should be sorry”. Self-destruction Guilt is the second-most common form of Guilt, seen readily in the Third Internal Monad (Teens) as the Chief Features are originally being selected. This Guilt is also the motivation behind most “heroic” acts. Self-destructive Guilt results in such a distortion of what the life is worth that it is left with only one option: to end it. This is due to the basic fear of unworthiness, and further understood as the “fear of using too much”. The Guilt induced from this Chief Feature wants you to know that life is being wasted on him or her; therefore it is his or her responsibility to either relieve the planet of this burden, or sacrifice the life as a means to prove its worth. There may seem to be a lack of “everyday” evidence that this form of Guilt is so pervasive, but this is due to the taboo generated around the deaths of those who have been affected. Whether in this culture or another, suicide, illness of a self-destructive nature, and sacrificial “heroism” become highly regarded and utilized as a catalyst for idols and false projections of importance. This is simply the way the Human Sentient chooses, in most cases, to relieve the reality of this troubling impact. Murder is the result of this Guilt being imposed on another, taking the life away from a fragment that the Self-destructor feels amplifies his or her own worthlessness. Guilt in this form has its focus on “punishment”. This Guilt says, “I’ll show YOU”. Martyrdom Guilt is more obvious when it is in effect and is feels more familiar than Self-destructive Guilt, though in reality it is actually less pervasive. Guilt, here, is based on fearing lack of control of space. This Guilt results in the seeming inability to steer events to a place of satisfaction, for self or for others. When this Guilt is acted out, it seeks immediate manipulation of others so as to divert attention from that which is deemed out of control. In other words, this Guilt will complain, generate aches and pains; dramatize slight emotional wounds. These situations are generated as a means to gain a sense of control over the life, and to force others into supporting this, because if you do not focus on the wounded, you are Guilty, too. This Guilt is focused on false consolation, given or received. This Guilt says, “That wasn’t supposed to happen.” Stubbornness Guilt is still pervasive, but less so than Martyrdom. This Guilt stems, of course, from the fear of change, so the Guilt focuses on “incapacitating” or “immobilizing”. This Guilt convinces those who experience it, or those it is imposed upon, that something he or she has done has had negative effects that halted something positive. This tends to have the fragment who is “guilty” halted immediately. This Guilt says, “You hurt someone.” Greed Guilt is not much less pervasive than Stubbornness, but as you can see from the progression, each type of Guilt becomes more Invasive, rather than Pervasive. The earlier Guilts may be more freely engaged in, supported, and more acceptable, thus more Pervasive, but the latter Guilts become more extreme in their impact, thus more Invasive. Guilt stemming from Greed, of course, is focused on “not having enough”. This Guilt creates a dynamic between fragments that no longer allows giving, but instead turns all forms of sharing into Taking. This Guilt works to chain individuals to events, situations, or people, because of an extreme sense of imbalance in terms of what is Needed. In the case of this Guilt, what would normally be Giving (to or from) is transformed into Taking, because that which is Needed is not truly available from that which is the focus. This Guilt could be said to be “over-obligation” or “over-obliging”. Greed Guilt says, “But I NEED you”, or “But you NEED me”. Arrogance Guilt is even more invasive. It stems from “vulnerability”. This Guilt focuses on false compensation, meaning that it forces a false remedy or false solution to a situation that has not been fully comprehended. This Guilt wants someone to pay for the sense of exploitation of someone’s vulnerabilities. This is the Guilt that says, “You were/are WRONG/BAD”. Impatience Guilt is the most invasive of all Guilts. It stems from a sense of “lacking control of Time”. Since this Guilt senses such extreme overwhelm of Time before true resolutions can be made, or solutions found, it is also then the most generally hostile, if not violent, of all Guilts. If plans, people, things, ideas pass too quickly, or not quick enough, the Guilt develops swiftly and forcefully. This Guilt results either in the premature leaving of a situation, such as a relationship in turbulence, and a strong desire for everything to “just STOP”, or it can result in the constant badgering and belittling of anyone who is apparently not “keeping up with” the Impatient one. This Guilt says, “It’s too late, or doesn’t matter now, anyway”. This Guilt focuses on false resolutions and instant solutions. This Chief Feature and Guilt is the primary contributor of domestic violence. MORE ON GUILT Guilt is taught. Guilt is learned. Not everyone experiences Guilt. Those people who do not experience Guilt, Invasively or Pervasively, are many times a target for those who are Guilt-ridden. It is considered most inappropriate to not obviously show some form of Guilt for something in your life. We disagree and say that those who feel no Guilt are most aware, mutually considerate, comfortable with his or her boundaries, and freely managing his or her Centers as a form of navigation through the life and the lives of others. Though Guilt is linked to a Chief Feature, and in many cases your own Chief Feature may the source of that Guilt, we would suggest that, in most cases, the Guilt experienced has more to do with the person who IMPRINTED the idea of Guilt upon you. This could be a schoolteacher, a parent, a sibling, or a group who shared a Chief Feature freely. Guilt is learned during the second internal monad, along with the word “no”; around the time you learn mobility of your own (about the age of 2). Depending on the ROLE of the Imprinter, your Guilt may be a connected with the Guilt instilled from the Imprinter. Despite the fact that Guilt is linked to Chief Features, each Role can also become adept at inducing a specific Guilt reaction from other fragments, regardless of either party’s habitual Chief Features. Here are the Guilts as they relate to each Role: Servers = Self-deprecating Guilt Artisans = Self-destructive Guilt Warriors = Martyrdom Guilt Scholars = Stubbornness Guilt Sages = Greed Guilt Priests = Arrogance Guilt Kings = Impatience Guilt Imprinted Guilt can carry for generations, beginning with, and retaining the strength induced from the original imprinter’s ROLE. ALLEVIATING GUILT In terms of what you can do to alleviate Guilt, it is best to evaluate exactly which Guilt is being utilized most obviously. It will be easy to think your Guilt is a combination of Guilts, but one will stand out, and that is where you can start. This can take some evaluation, but with a little specific observation, it can be done. Based on your conclusion as to which Guilt you are most prone to inducing in others, or reacting from, you can then learn to dismantle this seductive pattern. Now that we have delineated the types of Guilt, offered some phrases that might help you to recognize their “voice”, and differentiated their possible sources, we will now discuss the means to dismantle Guilt and address some questions. There are many individual ways created to handle Guilt, but we will share three ways that are universally applicable. Before we delve into these areas, we feel it necessary to understand the dynamics of BLAME. Blame is simply “unclaimed” anger or unprocessed anger (anger=disappointment), many times the results of defense against the feeling of Guilt. Blame acts as a holding space, a buffer, for the person who is experiencing Guilt, whether this Guilt is self-imposed or allowed in from another source. Blame creates a false space for “healing” while deflecting Guilt, providing justification for doing nothing. For instance, a person may feel angry because of another person’s behavior, but may then feel self-induced Guilt for feeling angry, deflecting his experience of Guilt through the use of Blame, then internally or verbally taking a stance. This deflection leaves the work of processing to someone else. This method is usually highly ineffective, and even when apparently effective, it is without true resolution. We bring up Blame because in the first tool for dismantling, there may be a tendency to point to a source for your Guilt, and then to Blame that source, rather than do the work to dismantle its hold. Instead, it is a False Personality reaction as a means to make space, to attempt to center the self. Instead of creating space for centering self, the personality finds security in the Blame, and leaves it at that. If you choose the route of Blame, we do not have an inclination to steer you one way or another, but we do mention here that many times, Blame can result in a fragile immune system. In short, Blame is the want for another fragment to claim responsibility for the results of your own choices or reactions. TOOLS FOR DISMANTLING Accepting and Maintaining Your Own Healthy Boundaries When you believe your Guilt has been Imprinted or Induced: ”Photograph” the moments (capture the moment mentally for conscious examination) when/where Guilt is experienced. It is not necessary to determine the form of Guilt, in terms of the Chief Features, unless you choose to delve deeper. All that is required of this method is the realization that some interpretation of an event or action has become based on someone else’s ideas, imprinting, or impositions, and that you are not required to validate someone else’s fears. Guilt can be self-induced or allowed in through the influences of an outside source, but the choice is always yours to utilize it against yourself or not. We can suggest that in situations allowing for some amount of flexibility to state quietly, internally, “This isn’t mine.” If appropriate, this statement can be spoken aloud, gently and peacefully, if you believe the party involved can “hear” you. It is important to note: no matter how much of a benefit you can see Guilt providing, it is still an experience that is not necessary for an individual to endure or grow; therefore, it is your individual choice to release it, retain it, or impose it, but it is never necessary or beneficial. To summarize, the first and most accessible method for dealing with Guilt, which is often induced from external sources, is in the simple noting and releasing of the moment it occurs. This fluidity will generate a “smoother surface” to your self and as Guilt is experienced in the future, or an imposition attempted, the event will “slide off” more and more easily. Transform the Guilt (play along) For some forms of Guilt, you simply may be refusing or avoiding taking the actions that may alleviate that Guilt. You will know if this is the method for you if you have a “haunting” feeling about what you “could have done” or “should have done”, or “could do” to “fix it”. Guilt is only as meaningful as your accommodation of another’s fear, or your own. This means that no Guilt is ever truly valid, however insidiously interpreted, integrated, or implemented. With that in mind, “playing along” and moving through the energy that is the Guilt, can lead to a transformation of that Guilt. This can be further understood in the phrase, “the only way out is through”. It will be your task to determine what steps are needed as a means to follow through and transform the experience of Guilt. A simplified example may be the “giving in” and saying the guilt-induced, expected “Bless you” to the person who has just sneezed, even when you personally feel this form of exchange is silly. That action accommodates the Guilt (plays along), but moves you through to a resolution, nonetheless. You may then find that you can reinterpret the situation as it arises, changing the event to mean more that a sneeze affords you an opportunity to kindly acknowledge someone. You can decide that when you say the “blessing”, you will mean it, rather than feel the pressure and Guilt as your motivation. We never encourage acting against individually defined parameters, however, to accommodate the Guilt to a point that you can then transform an experience, this method can be empowering. Your accommodation of some forms of Guilt may require something far stronger and long-term in its process than our simple example above. It may require that you move the Guilt to a more diffused state, thus creating a more manageable level of Guilt. This can be done through the act of True Apology. True Apology IS NOT the solution. True Apology is dissolution. True Apology is the act of breaking down an accumulated event for the purpose of generating mutual resolve. We do not guarantee its success of course, but we have seen that apologetic acknowledgement, however fearfully induced, can tend to soothe all fragments involved, allowing for progression away from Guilt and into peace. If True Apology is not accepted verbally, it may require that you take meaningful actions, communicate innovatively, allow vulnerability, anything to bring you to the level with which you feel the Guilt is moving you to make something “right”. Apology is not going to remove the Guilt; it will merely make it more manageable, which is why false apologies are mistaken as solutions. Many times, brooding over whether to take an action or not, only breeds more Guilt. Taking actions, thinking things through as to what you can do to “make things better for now”, may very well diffuse a pattern. You can then take ever more appropriate actions to reach freedom and peace. In short, method two would be to “do something about it”, putting Guilt in a position more clearly defined and manageable, acknowledged and potentially less powerful. Accepting and Living with Guilt This is the level with which a person may need to turn if all means for addressing the Guilt are unavailable or too overwhelming. It would not be amiss in this case to resign, surrender to the Guilt. If you are in this position, you have reached a place that some part of you feels “deserves” the Guilt. It is then that you may submit to your experience, indulge, and rest into it. This will stop the internal struggles; allow your “messages” and “lessons” to be heard, moving you to a space where you can eventually take action (as in method two), and finally bring you to the potential capability of alleviating Guilt altogether (as in method one). THE EMPOWERING TRIAD It may have been noticed by some students that this process is the empowering Triad, with method one being Negative, method two being Positive, and method three being Neutral. If you are unfamiliar with this process of the Triad, we can summarize by simply stating that all motion and progress moves through these phases in some order: Positive (the more active aspect of the event), Negative (the more internal or inactive aspect of the event), Neutral (the place between the other poles, allowing the experience to just BE). QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS [Qitara] Is guilt ever appropriate? Say, if one were to murder another, would guilt be the appropriate feeling for that action to keep one from doing it again, or would remorse be more appropriate? [Michael_Entity]: We have never seen Guilt act as a deterrent. It is a delay of many things, including the “lessons” brought to bear through the experience, but certainly not a means for creating valid growth. Guilt’s only “purpose” is to satisfy another fragment’s ideals that you have either allowed or had imposed upon you. As we have stated, it may be falsely satisfying to see a murderer, or even a person who bumps you in line, feeling degrees of Guilt, but it only serves fear. It will always be your choice to choose love or fear, and you are free to choose the false satisfaction fear presents, but we do encourage choices based in Love only because, as sentience, it “feels better” and serves the apparently inevitable search for reunion. What keeps a murderer from murdering again is determined through love, not fear. Guilt, remorse, regret, grief may be a chosen path for many as a means to discover love, but it is inefficient, however popular. As the soul grows, so does its efficiency in gathering and processing experiences for evolution. This is why the Old Soul begins to choose less Guilt and regrets for the life. In the case of a murderer, a larger perspective is needed to truly grasp the nature of the event and this simply is not an easy task, especially in any culture other than an Old Soul culture. The irony is that by the time an Essence can understand the nature of murder, it no longer participates in it. In other words, the act of murdering, itself, removes most capabilities for understanding the event. Thus, Guilt is ineffective and would only serve as a protective measure. The Murderer will have his or her time between lives to grasp the nature of the event to its fullest. Murder is understood through grasping the nature of the event for what it IS, not as it “should be” or “should have been”, and this allows the Murderer to learn new ways of making choices. So in answer to the question as to whether Guilt is ever appropriate, we would say we have never seen it to be appropriate to what its supposed intent is. [Carolyn] Michael said that apology is always fear-based, and I understand that most guilt is useless and counterproductive. But in a perfect world we’d always look where we’re going and never miss appointments & never get so excited that we spill our beer on somebody at a hockey game. However, that is not the case, and with the current trend of rudeness & “in-your-face” verbal exchanges, I can’t see how NOT apologizing for the occasional faux pas we all make is going to improve the situation. Those little apologetic exchanges between strangers, especially, seem to “grease the wheels” of social interactions that might otherwise be highly unpleasant or even violent. Or am I missing their point here? [Michael_Entity]: We have stated clearly that to “apologize” is strongly supported and recognized as important in your culture; it is the only means you have for satisfaction at this point, for certain exchanges. This will continue to be the case as you move from a Young Soul culture to a Mature Soul culture. Passive apologizing can even be attributed to the early Mature Soul thinking, in general, used for the purposes of “improving” basic cultural and social interactions among the soul ages. It is a crossover from the “rudeness” of the Young Soul to the “recognition of others” inherent among the Mature Souls. In this context, apology is seen as meaningful and valid, but as we have stated many times now, it is simply inefficient and serves to support something other than what it appears to be supporting. To make the point: when your culture recognizes “a step on the foot”, or “the spilling of a beer”, or “the lateness of an attendance” as not personally intended, your culture will be free from Guilt. When you no longer require punishment or retribution for simple “faux pas”, you are free. We do not suggest you stop apologizing altogether. To apologize or not, whether passively or truthfully, is your choice. We were merely responding to this within the topic of Guilt. When in a situation that you deem calls for apology from yourself, you may be using method two as described above to process the Guilt and move forward. This, then, can be considered Good Work. It is another situation entirely when you require another fragment, or another fragment expects you, to behave within the confines of Guilt. To use True Apology to move through a situation is valid, but to expect it or to impose it, is the potential weaving of shared karmic ribbons or self-karma. Question 1) Do the different guilt types surface according to different situations? Do they occasionally work in tandem? [Michael_Entity]: Yes, to the first question: Guilt will adjust to circumstances. It is ‘source-induced’, ‘self-induced’ or ‘situational-induced’, each relating to a Chief Feature expression. Source-induced means that another individual was allowed to influence your perceptions, creating conflict internally. The Chief Feature would be related to their source. Self-induced relates to the general impact of your own Chief Features against certain events. Situational-induced means you choose to behave in a way that the situation imposes or requires. This can be called ‘culturally-induced’ as well. This is where the pervasive need for apology can be found. In answer to your second question, yes, more than one Chief Feature can easily be found in many situations of Guilt. Question 2) Would positive affirmations help as a tool in dismantling guilt? I’ve been playing around with affirmations designed to “fit” my Overleaves, esp. the CFs, to try and keep myself closer to the positive poles. Too early to tell if it’s working… [Michael_Entity]: Affirmations are only as effective as an individual believes them to be. Most affirmations are “bridges” across a situation and can allow you to refrain from indulgence in fears, but it is through your actions and responses that a belief (affirmation) becomes personally effective and true. For instance, you may go your entire life hearing repeated affirmations of your Beauty, and with one comment that you are ugly, it is all shattered. It is clear that the power here remains in your ability to respond and act within your own parameters. No amount of affirming will change you, unless actions, thoughts, and feelings are accepting of those affirmations. We see affirmations as a means to carry you briefly through a moment or event, but we have seen little, if any, effect in transforming anything on their own. Question 3) I’m not real clear on Martyrdom Guilt. Would Michael elaborate on this one a little, and/or anybody out there who “gets it,” can you post an example of how it manifests? I’m just not getting a concrete picture of it. [Michael_Entity]: We stated the Guilt as focused on “false consolation” and its voice as being “I didn’t mean to” or “that wasn’t supposed to happen”. To elaborate, this voice comes from having ulterior motives, lack of direction, or a sense of lacking control over an event. When the event unfolds against the ideal, the Martyr Guilt will remove responsibility by stating that he “didn’t mean to have it end up this way”. As an example, those with Martyrdom Guilt can sometimes assume responsibilities of no interest to the fragment. These responsibilities are taken on for various, seemingly noble, reasons, but the Martyr eventually begins to realize he is overwhelmed or uninterested. As the responsibilities unfold, the Martyr reassures himself that “things are under control” or that he will eventually deal with the responsibilities or situation. When asked if events are under control, he becomes defensive or offended at the implications. Meanwhile, responsibilities continue to go unmet, actions taken are inaccurate and miscalculated because of lack of real motivation, and the Martyr begins to formulate more defenses. When the truth surfaces that nothing valid or expected was accomplished, the Martyr states that “I didn’t mean to have this happen!”, or “SEE? I tried and failed!” or “I guess I messed EVERYTHING UP then!” This defense has the potential to send others into a state of reassurance of the Martyr, telling him, “no, you did just fine”, while the Martyr is secretly relieved from the expectations he volunteered upon himself. Another simple example is a parent or spouse who speaks of “failing the family” or relationship, and moving others to relieve him or her. In general, Martyrdom Guilt is used to generate pressured and false consolation so as to avoid recognition that responsibility is being avoided. It can also be used to evade the acceptance and responsibility of the very real changes to the life path, based on the results of previous choices. Martyrdom Guilt can also be used to amplify what little the Martyr has actually done, inducing Guilt from others if they express disappointment, making them painfully aware of “All he’s done for you”. These are simplified and general examples, but we believe these to be clear enough. [Sharon] My questions regarding guilt and the guilt channeling have to do with trying to understand more of this Michael Terminology, the overleaf system, and how to foil the good ole CF in the first place, by understanding when I am in a negative pole of a “leaf” or just doing a Chief Feature. [Michael_Entity]: It is safe to assume yourself as False Personality (in negative poles) when you feel distinctly afraid, reactive, defensive, or any factor that creates a space between yourself and your life or another person. It is safe to assume yourself as True Personality (in positive poles) when you are in awe, asking for help, feeling connected to your life and others of your choice, and feeling safe. Though we would need to spend more time on this topic to fulfill it, we can say a couple of things here. ALL Overleaves sent to the Negative Pole were sent there through the Chief Feature. Your PRIMARY Chief Feature blocks your Goal, whereas your SECONDARY Chief Feature blocks your Mode. The Primary is experienced personally and creates ineffectiveness of the life force used for personal endeavors, related to the Goal. The Secondary is felt as the block between yourself and another, in relationships and intimacy. The Overleaf most effective in dismantling the Chief Feature is the ATTITUDE. Focusing entirely on your Attitude, moving to the Positive Pole, removes all influence from Chief Feature. We realize this is briefly addressed here, but it is a picture that may bring some realization and understanding for now. [Kim] Michael discussed how guilt could manifest through CF’s. I was wondering what about other Overleaves? Because I see how guilt can be related to some of my other Overleaves as well. Does anyone else see how guilt relates to his or her other Overleaves? [Michael_Entity]: The other Overleaves are merely extensions of the Chief Features when they are in the Negative Poles. Chief Features are “not real” without the expression through a vehicle, the Negative Poles of a Personality. Though you may find some correlations in the Overleaves as related to Guilt, it is not as consistent as directly addressing the Chief Features and the tool of Guilt as it relates to them. For instance, a person in Impatience can have a Goal of Acceptance or a Goal of Growth, and it will still be Impatience that sends either Goal to the Negative Pole when in Guilt.

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2008] [QUESTION] How do we let go of judging others? I try so hard not to have those "He is so..." "She is such a ..." thoughts, but they pop in uninvited, like little snarky gremlins. I know that I am doing it and breathe and release the thoughts, but it is like my mind pops back and again says, "Yes, but she IS a ..." [Michael Entity] One cannot "let go" of judging others. It is a natural part of Being. This is why we describe one of the Chief Negative Features as being "fear of judgment." It is not judgment that is the issue or obstacle, but the fear of it. However, one can learn to manage judgment to be a tool and not just a form of entertainment or defense. Judgment is an important part of any sentient being's form of navigation through life. This is one way to help with the problem of judging unnecessarily: to ask if it is helping you to navigate, or if it's just entertaining you or defending you. We use the word "entertain" specifically here, because however uncomfortable or negative one would like to think of those "snarky gremlins," they are often purely for entertainment, much in the same way a cat will hone its hunting skills by swatting at anything moving. Judgment is a SKILL. It requires practice. Most of you practice by entertaining yourselves through judgments of others and of things, but those judgments are not a form of navigation anymore than the swatting cat is actually hunting. Seeing those judgments for what they are can help you to use the skill more effectively when applied as a form of navigation. You are taught that it is wrong to judge and that it is unhealthy, bad, etc, but as with many natural, beneficial elements of life, the problem lies more in the misunderstanding and misuses than in the element, itself. Fighting judgment as if it is bad only complicates the problem of developing the skill to be of benefit to you and others. For most, you are taught that it is wrong to judge because it is not your right, and if you develop the skill of judgment, then your skills of discernment and validation are benefited, and most institutions and religions can do quite fine without your fine-tuned skills of discernment. In addition to this complication of misjudgment, we have yet to see a person be able to "stop judging" without actually using judgment to judge the process. What we would suggest for those who wish to develop the skill of judgment is to simply clarify where that judgment falls in terms of its usefulness: Navigation, Entertainment, or Defense. Making a mental check mark next to the judgment against the mismatched colors of a woman entering the coffee shop as being entertaining can be helpful. Making a mental check mark alongside the judgments against a person that are voiced with intent to hurt as being a form of defense can be helpful. Making a mental check mark next to the judgments that allow you to maneuver your way out of difficult situations as a form of navigation can be quite helpful. Using your judgments to help refine and define your judgments will help you to build it as a skill, but using judgment as a way to suppress your judgments will only enforce the wriggling "gremlins" that do not disappear simply because you judge yourself.

Janet: Michael, you told me that I have been Artisan-cast in every Grand Cycle thus far but this is the first Grand Cycle where I also have the role of Artisan. One of the validating features of Artisan for me is the 5 inputs; I’m sure having this many inputs has a large influence on my life. Who knows if I will choose the role of Artisan again, so I’d like to try to maximize my Artisan experience while I’m awake enough to make the attempt. Do you have tips and techniques for fully implementing ‘Artisanness’? Are there ways to enhance or expand use of all 5 inputs? Does my high frequency provide any benefits toward potentially enhancing my experience as an Artisan? MEntity: Understanding the nature of having 5 Inputs is probably the best way to maximize one's use of them in a way that can fully implement one's "Artisan-ness." What that means to "fully implement" and "Artisan-ness" must be determined by your own standards. Some Artisans would find this implementation to mean full-blown creative chaos and living utterly by impulse, and others may find it to mean strength in structure, order, and constructive directions that have collaborative intentions. We will leave the defining factors of "Artisan-ness" to you, then, as you cannot NOT be an Artisan, you can only be an Artisan who rejects being an Artisan, or one who embraces being an Artisan, and then creating from those stances. Janet: I do embrace it, so let's go from there. MEntity: The point of the 5 Inputs for Artisans is that Artisans are the ports through which the NEW, the ALIVE, and the REVITALIZED are constantly brought into existence in some way. If there is anything that can help determine if one is fully implementing one's Artisan-ness, it would be in the assessment of whether one is actively bringing in Aliveness, Newness, Revitalization in some way. This can show up in any number of ways, such as through ideas, encouragement, spontaneity, impulse, artistic media, etc. The key question being if it manages to bring something or someone TO LIFE. Yes, the core of the Artisan is Creation, but this often translates into "bringing to life," or infusing life into various elements of the life, such as the workplace, a relationship, a community, etc. When the Artisan is not able to, or refuses to, or is blocked in the process of infusing life, or bringing to life, that is when Delusion can set in, and the Artisan resorts to fantasy, an internal world of creation that is more alive and vibrant than the experiences of the outer world. Janet: Oh I have experienced that. MEntity: The Artisan's medium for infusing life, or bringing to life, is CHANGE. To the extent that the Artisan resists, dismisses, or is afraid of CHANGE is the extent to which the Artisan is asleep, or in Delusion. This resistance to Change is not the same thing as having structure and order and routine. Those qualities are often quite vital to the Artisan, but are not defenses against Change. Those qualities actually help in adapting to Change. The Artisan's Inputs are focused on the Task at Hand; generating Creativity; maintenance or nurturing of previous Creations; monitoring of media options; and The Past. Janet: What is meant by 'monitoring of media options'? The other inputs seem self-explanatory. MEntity: This Input on The Past is quite encompassing, and is why it is very difficult for an Artisan who has been wounded to move beyond the wounding. Monitoring of media options could be described as "how can I make this happen?" or "how, where, through what can I create that?" It might be better understood as the Input of Strategy. This is why Artisans and Warriors tend to work so well together, because the Artisan is quite strategic. Or, more accurately, CAN be. Janet: You have thoroughly described my life. I found a session where you said that some Artisans may block inputs in order to "fit in". Are there symptoms of blocking a specific input? MEntity: Yes, there are symptoms relative to the blocking of each. Though we do not prioritize or number the Inputs, for simplicity we will do so here: 1 - inability to focus for any length of time; scattered; 2 - delusions, defensiveness, escapism; 3 - lying, dishonesty, revisionism; 4 - manipulation, anger, frustration; and 5 - inability to heal, terminal illness, psychological damage. This list is not comprehensive, but it is fair.

Some of you who have been studying w/ the Michaels (through Troy) for a while may be familiar with this piece...but it is the first time I have come across it! I found it in the old TLE Yahoo Group archives. Some great info about how our modes work in interaction with others. Enjoy! MICHAEL: One of the areas that seems to be of most interest to those of you on the Physical Plane, regardless of your Soul Age, is your attractiveness, your matedness, and your levels of Intimacy shared, especially with your own species. It is one thing to drop all barriers with your Dog, or other companion animal, and quite another to engage in this exchange of Intimacy with another Human. Part of the reason for this nagging pull is simply because on one level you realize you “should” be able to interact and engage with others of your species without obstacles. This naive vision is not the case in “real life”. The obstacles to Intimacy is better understood when you stop to realize that you have evolved through a Young Soul phase on your planet for quite some time. Routines have been put in place where isolation was necessary and engaged in willingly so as to promote less compassion, less interaction intimately. With this lack of Intimacy, strides could be made without concern for the harm done to other fragments. Whether an Old Soul or not, you will still have imprinting from this influence, particularly in the U.S., even if it’s just an undertone in your environment. It is frightening to Personality to “reach out” since Other may be “out to get you” or Other may or may not be “worth it”. For Old Souls, “reaching out” sometimes surfaces unconscious or conscious memories registered from other Soul Age Cycles. These experiences may have been devastating, in that your own actions or those of another created or attracted harm on some level. Since you are primarily an aggressive species, physical pain (which, we remind you, is primarily the condensation of emotional pain) is easier to access; therefore Fragments lean toward negative experiences as references for future interaction because pain is valued as a much more tangible memory. This is yet another example of your own species' "hardwiring" that Essence must work to "rise above" as Sentience. Your Essence strives to accomplish Intimacy while on the physical plane in physical bodies. Many of you may reason and dismiss this as trivial when compared to larger tasks or daily routines, but Intimacy is a profound experience and one that could be deemed an ultimate goal for the Essence throughout its Grand Cycle. Having Essence Recognition within or between you and another is Ecstasy to the soul and the only form of true evolution. It is a penetrating experience regardless of brevity or lengthiness. Essence strives for this in any way possible whether through sexual contact, short-term interaction, long-term mate agreements, serial monogamy, promiscuity, chatting to a stranger in line at the grocer’s, etc. Most frenetic movement between partners and relationships whether sexual or not, is a result of resistance to intimacy and the obvious need for Essence’s “fix”. In truth, the biological vehicle, you as Personality, would literally die without contact of some sort that Essence could register as valid and intimate. A brush with someone at the airport making you smile can sustain you for weeks or months. Those moments are “fed” to Essence and by default you are automatiåcally aligned within. That example is one form of Essence Recognition. We mention this since a lot you find Intimacy to be a secondary or trivial pursuit in the shadow of your tasks and daily routines. This couldn’t be further from what your Essence strives and your own compulsion to seek it reveals this importance. What we are going to speak about today is in regards to what you find attractive about a person in general, what is first found attractive about you and how this attraction plays out or is sustained. This is from the most superficial to the most profound. We will define Attraction here as what draws Personality to Personality in pursuit of Essence Contact, or Intimacy. We will also elaborate here and say that when Attraction occurs in its many forms it is always about what is “missing” and being sought by Personality. This is a clever and efficient method for Essence to move Personality toward contact. Though it is true each of you contain or have access to all “answers”, or that each of you are really “one” with all, this does not negate the event of Intimacy and the longing for contact. Inherent in the Personality is “pieces missing”, “longings” or “questions”, however you choose to interpret your map towards Intimacy; they all lead to opportunities for contact. From the stance of the Tao, as we perceive this game, your resisting or neglecting Intimacy is likened to writing a book and not reading it; the Tao relies heavily on our yearning for contact as it experiences itself through us. All of this is not to put pressure on an individual to “find someone” or to present a picture of any importance; this is simply from our perception and the perceptions we have experienced in sharing with many Essences. You may choose any partner, multiple partners, your friends, your children, your companion animals, your backyard, your home, your selves, your souls, anything as opportunities for Intimacy. What we wish to convey here is that it is part of the dynamic fabric of your Universe and disregarding it can be a source of many troubles while Human. To avoid, ignore, or reject Intimacy, even choosing apathy, are all valid and part of the process of exploring Intimacy. They just don’t “feel” as good to Personality or Essence. Intimacy is a large topic to indulge in, but for convenience and specificity, here we are only speaking primarily of attraction between Personalities. The MODE in the Overleaves System is the first thing you “see” in another and what you first present to another, in most cases. It is similar to the astrological Ascendant. First contact of any level of intimacy (speaking, touching, sex, dinner, small gatherings) is almost always in the context of this Overleaf. It is best to understand, if you choose, that ALL of your Overleaves are being used at all times. They are unable to be disconnected or isolated, but certain Overleaves ARE presented or highlighted for certain purposes as leverage to access or utilize other Overleaves more effectively. In the case of interaction and intimacy, you mostly enter through the Mode, and then move to other Overleaves as ways of revealing yourself depending on the context of the exchange, karma, history, etc. Regardless of what Overleaves your relationship explores, your first important contact will be through Modes. The moment you move into an intimate or public setting, as soon as you gauge an exchange, you highlight your Mode. Each Overleaf resonates to a Center, and each set of Overleaves (Attitudes, Body types, Roles, etc.) covers all seven centers. Rather than explain the system, we will simply share and allow the information to reveal itself. Now, even though each Overleaf resonates to a Center, or Chakra, it is a separate influence from the actual CENTERING. We can mix, add, combine and analyze all the various influences of the Overleaf System, but for now we are simply discussing the MODE. We will also note here, and will again at the end, that there is a definite pattern of “entrance” to each other. Based on your Mode, you may or may not seek a person’s Goal, Attitude, Soul Age, etc. We will return to this topic another day. This initial exchange lasts through a great portion of stages toward Intimacy, but is not a constant. Before going into detail, here are the MODES and the corresponding Chakra/Center, in order of Chakra sequence: 1) RESERVED – INSTINCTIVE 2) CAUTION – HIGHER MOVING 3) PERSEVERANCE – MOVING 4) OBSERVATION – EMOTIONAL 5) POWER – INTELLECTUAL 6) PASSION – HIGHER EMOTIONAL 7) AGGRESSION – HIGHER INTELLECTUAL For purposes of reference and review, here are the Modes as they appear in the Overleaf System along with their “partner” Mode (axis). RESERVED/PASSION CAUTION/POWER PERSEVERANCE/AGGRESSION OBSERVATION We will highlight first what is attractive TO a Mode, what is attractive ABOUT a Mode, and last, a brief comment on the dynamics of interaction between them. We’ll start with Reserve Mode and it resonates to the Instinctive Center. Those of you in Reserve Mode are drawn to the “roots” of another individual, your past lives shared, you are more willing and likely to rely on or refer to “past” associations for your identification of each other. You have almost direct, unconscious access to your SOUL, hence the choice for RESERVE. You are Restrained in your output of Essence as you reveal only what is “necessary” for another to “see”. Since you have this vast place to draw from, it makes sense that you would not want another to be overwhelmed, but instead to share what is relevant. In the Negative Pole, you feel overwhelmed, yourself, and Inhibit your output to a point of near-invisibility and can lead to an Automatic pilot type of interaction with others. In the Positive Pole you are not only Restrained, but also highly AWARE of Other. Reserve Mode is then most attracted to an individual’s history, from this lifetime or other’s. This Mode, in the context of our system, “enters” Other through their CENTERING. What others find most attractive about Reserve is their ability to bring focus out of the chaos in Self. What this means simply is that when you find Reserve Mode to be attractive, it is most likely out of a desire to draw a specific sub-personality, facet, or historic memory to the surface for exploration and/or healing. Caution Mode relates to the Higher Moving Center. It can be a most frightening experience to the Personality to feel itself “splayed” throughout all things; therefore you Deliberately express portions of yourself, or allow only “pieces” of another individual into your space. This is a result of having to monitor your potential for “loss” of self. When you so easily and “secretly” connect with your environment, having lost your sense of self, Phobia results. This is all quite different than what is occurring in Reserve Mode. Whereas Reserve Mode is about “Facets of Soul”, Caution is about “Facets of Self”. Caution, then, is most attracted to a person’s sense of motivation; the more complete that is, the more attractive you are. In the context of our system, this Mode “enters” Other through the GOAL. Caution Mode has the potential to be the most sexual in our sense of the word: "moving in unison with something other than self." Of course, all beings have the potential for sexual intimacy in light of that definition and with anything, but Caution has a built-in wiring that allows a sense of Integration of their identity with another. It is highly attractive to Caution to find safe elimination of boundaries. When Caution is in Phobia, and has lost contact with self, or the ability to at least monitor expression, Desire can result (negative pole of Higher Moving). This simply means they are more likely to attract or be attracted to the SAMENESS of an individual, the familiarity. Mostly this will be a matching of “emptiness” and lead nowhere, but CAN lead to some breakthroughs. What is most attractive about Caution, then, is “Safety”. By this we mean that an individual attracted to Caution would be seeking some form of comfort in expressing self AS IS, and Caution can provide that forum. This may not make sense at first since this Mode has to do with Goals, but Goals are NOT about ACTION necessarily, but more about a STATE. Thus, when self trusts life AS IS, fulfillment can occur. Perseverance Mode relates to the Moving Center and IS probably one of the most sexual in the traditional sense, utilizing the body and physical tactics for interaction. Perseverance is concerned with Physical reality and the ramifications of actions; therefore they find what is most attractive in another confidence, or self-esteem. Perseverance as a Mode means making actions “count”, so it is especially attractive if your actions match you. You may speak confidently or “talk big, or sexy”, but your body, how it is held, how you interact is more telling to this Mode even if unconsciously. So, again, Perseverance is attracted to you as your physical expression and mannerisms. This is not superficial by any means, simply a valid medium and level of contact. What can be difficult for some fragments IS the superficiality of being “caught up” in ONLY the level of Physical Reality. This leads to an Unchanging definition of “beauty” and creates judgments, then leading to Chief Feature. In this case, this Mode is most likely to be Frenetic in their sex life and not be “satisfied”, indulging in it feverishly or relinquishing from it altogether. In our system, this Mode “enters” Other through the primary Body type Overleaf. What is most attractive about Perseverance is the same. When you are attracted to Perseverance it may be because you are seeking reflections of your own strengths. When negatively attracted, the results are merely physical and can lead to self-judgments, losing the whole “point”. Observation Mode, the most popular and obvious in your culture, is Emotionally centered. The popularity of this Overleaf and the influence of it’s imprinting (particularly from the Negative Pole), regardless of your own Mode, tends to justify WATCHING “love” pass by or Surveying life rather than participating in it. This lends Sentimentality (or attachments) to your exchanges rather than the use of your own Mode or the positive pole of the Emotional Center, Perception. Those in Observation Mode can “see” Other most clearly and many times will be content just watching, reading about, hearing about, or vicariously experiencing you. This, in itself, is only a limited capability of Observation. It may seem that Observation Mode, a neutral overleaf, could not be Emotionally Centered, but this bias is due to the misunderstanding of Emotions. That misunderstanding also perpetuates the confusion of those in Observation. Emotions allow you to PERCEIVE another, bypassing logic and physicality. It is one of the clearest and unbiased tools you have while being physical. It is thought that EMOTIONS are inaccurate or untrustworthy or inconvenient, but it is REACTIONS that usually pass as emotions. We will digress for a moment here, but we assure you it is relevant. Reactions are bodily functions and fueled by Intellect. Reactions are based on INTELLECTUAL discrepancies in behavior or events, not emotions. Even tears, for example, are the biological reaction to TRUTH, an Intellectual byproduct. All tears relate back to something that has been realized as TRUE, even if it is physical pain. Tears are often related to Emotions, if not exclusively, but it is an Intellectually centered event. Emotions, as they relate to Observation Mode, are about Resonance. Therefore, what is most attractive to Observation is their level of Resonance with you. In our system, this Mode “enters” Other through Other’s Mode. What is most attractive about Observation is the opportunity to be SEEN. When you seek a person in Observation, it is in light of choosing to be “validated”. When Negatively sought, it is merely to “get” this person to see how you WISH to be, not how you ARE. Power Mode presents themselves through Intellect and communication. When Power Mode seeks, it is attracted to your personally validated beliefs, your philosophies, and your viewpoints. When Power is insecure in their beliefs, they seek to build a false system of thought through Reasoning and Oppressing your own beliefs. They can then be attracted to those who have “false” beliefs, high insecurities, or undefined perceptions of life. When secure and comprehensive in their beliefs and communication, Power brings Authority and Insight to exchanges. Power Mode, in our system, “enters” Other through Attitude. What is most attractive about Power is the sense of consolidation of truths or ideas. When seeking a person in Power Mode, it is in lieu of recognition of your “place” in your mental environment and the want for confirmation, regardless of Soul Age. Whatever your Soul Age, if you are attracted to a Baby Soul in Power, it would be for Insight or Authority in understanding your “place” in the social structure. A Mature Soul in Power will provide in the context of “what emotions are for”, of course, and Old Souls in Power might provide exchange about you and the “scheme of things”. Passion Mode resonates with the Higher Emotional Center and has the greatest leaning towards just wanting to “love” everybody. Passion recognizes the inherent lessons found in knowing or exchanging with another and finds not only more love for self, but Self-actualization through Other as well. They are most attracted to the psychic life of another and tend to draw in the most bizarre and unusual people for intimacy. Those who would normally NOT experience intimacy with another Mode will find almost unconditional trial runs with this Mode. Passion Mode has the most intensity around intimacy issues since there is a “no holds barred” mentality. This can be discomforting or elating to the Personality. What is most attractive, then, to Passion is the lack of Time/Space as a reference in your exchanges. In our system, Passion “enters” Other through Soul Age, since this puts you in touch with a field of energy outside of Time/Space. Passion Mode can tend to become tied to the experiences of interaction more than other Modes leading to Identification or loss of all boundaries. You are no longer just a person to Passion Mode, but a REPRESENTATIVE of the person in Passion. YOUR actions, acceptance, rejections, etc, can be used as a reference for the Passion person’s own sense of soul. This also relates to the Negative Pole of the Higher Emotional Center, Intuition, in which a connection has been made to an individual, but only from a specific reference, not considering entirety. This sounds similar to Caution, we realize, but this is vastly different. What is most attractive about Passion Mode is their ability to absorb into anything or anything into them. When seeking a person in Passion Mode, an individual is ready to be PRESENT. If this is sought from fear, it may be from a longing to “disappear”. A SIDE NOTE: Caution, Reserve, and Perseverance are about Facets of Soul, Self, and Body, respectively, whereas Passion, Power and Aggression are about TOTALITY of Soul, Self, and Body. Observation is about both. Aggression Mode relates to the Higher Intellectual Center since this Mode deals with the Dynamics of thought and the shaping of these into thought forms. What is most attractive to Aggression is the totality of your life; not necessarily you as a person, your appearance, your perceptions, your being, but what has BECOME of it. When Aggression cannot find a vision of what they have become or what they will become, they can tap into your chaos of direction and use that energy for Belligerence, shadowing you. We mentioned earlier this Mode being about Totality of Body (or physicality). This is in reference to the results or impact of you as a vehicle; using the body, ultimately, of course. This Mode, then, in our system, “enters” Other through the Role. What is most attractive about Aggression is their innate capability to emit Truth on all three levels: Personal, World, and Universal. Just the wave of a hand can spring to life many truths. This is not always about cognitive or comprehensive truth, but Causal truth. The motion of a hand, the sweep of a gesture, the raising of an eyebrow: all igniting something. When Aggression is sought Negatively, it is for reprimanding, or “correction”. We have only scratched the surface of each of these Modes and their actuality, but this may be enough to spark some of your own validation and discovery. For periods of time, depending on your lifestyle or agenda, you will “rest” in the Mode that is partner to your own. For Observation, of course, you will have Modes you “slide” to habitually for your “rest”. When in the partner Mode, you are “unavailable” for contact. For instance, if you are naturally Passion Mode, but are "resting" in Reserved, you are "off-limits" for the time being and are more likely dealing with inner levels of Intimacy issues and self-karma. So, if you find you in are in a state of isolation or loneliness, check with the Positive Pole of that partner Mode you are resting in, initiate those qualities, and you will “automatically” move back to your own Mode. This will be sustained ONLY if desired or consciously maintained, otherwise, you will revert to the Mode most appropriate for your current state. So, what can you do with all this information? First, understanding your Mode in terms of what you might “naturally” seek as an "entrance" to others can help you understand what you are "looking at/for" in another. Understanding the various Modes and what that might mean in terms of what you find attractive about another, can help you understand what you are seeking to fulfill in general. Additionally you may look at your current Mates and see what each of you “naturally” stimulate in another by how your Modes “enter” each other’s Overleaves. This is likened to plucking a certain string in a piano or guitar: A “note” is brought out of you by another person’s Mode. Understanding your reactions or responses to a Mate or relative can be greatly revealing. And, finally, it is Good Work to determine whether you are seeking from NEED (the Negative Pole of Intimacy), in which case, it is Intimacy with SELF you lack. If seeking a mate brings anxiety, pressure, self-judgment, etc., you are not seeking a mate; you are seeking you. We will talk more about this at a later date.

In other words, the Warrior needs shared "territory" to Love, and The King needs shared "time" to Love.

To the degree that a fragment can honestly say that he or she likes himself or herself, is the degree to which the 4th Internal Monad is being completed, or has been completed, in the Positive Pole. The Positive Pole of the entire 4th Internal Monad is Self-Realization, which is the experience of being present with who you are and generally liking who you are. The Negative Pole is Acquiescence, which is the feeling of being forced or succumbing to “who you are,” and not really liking who that is. In short, if you can answer the question DO I LIKE ME? with an answer of “yes” to any degree, then you are generally manifesting True Personality to that degree.

    [Excerpt from Transforming Chief Features] MEntity: We have had much to say about the subject of the Chief Negative Features, and much more can be said, of course, so what we will offer up today is not definitive, but simply more to consider as you work to understand and embrace your fears, transforming them away from being obstacles and paralysis to being informative and helpful. Fear was never "meant" to be a challenge or something to undermine any fragment's life, but much like anything that exists, it is a tool that can become a pivotal resource toward Agape or a restrictive halt away from everything. Fear, or the Chief Negative Features, are inherently "negative" because they describe the gap between "you" and "other," or "something else." Anything inherently divisive is "negative" in our teaching, but this does not mean it is inherently "bad." Fear is inherent in Personality because Personality is inherently divided from all other things and people, and even from Essence in many ways. From the moment one is born, the first, most primal fear is born along with you: the fear of non-attachment. This fear is biological. It is what keeps "you" alive. It is what clings to the mother, to the caretaker, what keeps the toddler close to the camp, to the tribe, and attached to its resources. It is what keeps the body searching for foods, for water, for tools, etc. Anything that is necessary for survival. So, fear is quite "good" in that regard. Any threat to the attachment of the biological self to its resources is highlighted and avoided, either by fight or flight. Keep this in mind as you explore your own Chief Features, then, because at the heart of everyone's fears, it is this struggle with non-attachment that is key. We will elaborate further upon that consideration as we explore the subject, if time permits. For today's focus, we understand that the interest is in the various ways one can consciously make choices in behavior so as to relieve the effects of a particular fear, or Chief Feature. The point of transforming your relationship to fear is because when fear is informative, it is simply a means of enhancing your capacity to choose. It is not much different from any warning system built in to any vehicle that alerts you as to when you may be in close proximity to a collision. It would not make sense to argue that warning systems are removed from vehicles because the mere presence of those alerts implies something is wrong, flawed, or bad. That warning system is an advantage that increases the capacity for choice, for better navigation, for success in one's direction and endeavors. However, when most struggle with the Chief Features as an issue, it is because the "warning system" goes off randomly, goes off without relevance, goes off constantly, etc. It is no longer associated with an actual threat, or with information. Imagine the difference between enjoying a walk through the woods, watching the birds, the creatures, enjoying the sunlight, the babbling brook, your thoughts, and then noticing a bear in the distance to which you then steer clear of in a smart way, as compared to a walk in the woods where you presume that every twig cracking and every shadow is a bear. Both of these methods are helpful for keeping you alert to bears, but one keeps you from noticing pretty much anything else. If one's "warning system" is random, constant, or irrelevant, then that warning system becomes useless for navigation, and simply keeps you on one end of the spectrum of life. It keeps you on the side of "Being Alive" vs "Living." We will speak of each of the Chief Features now, with a brief synopsis, and then a list of methods for how one can use his or her consciousness to transform that fear so that one is not just being alive, but can live again, so to speak.

I would like to know which persons and/or stories, and how they were amalgamated into the stories which are in the Bible. I'd like to use my allotted time for this. [MEntity] We have two responses for this: limiting the event to the validity of the man who was Jesus, stories were spread and extrapolated and retold in ways that incorporated fantasy, hearsay, and eagerness to claim witness to significant events. It was not so much that there were any specific people that could be isolated as reference, but that, like any popular event, the stories will grow with embellishment over time. [MEntity] In addition to these embellishments was an overlapping, or imposing, of previous stories already known, but now attributed to a more personal icon. Those stories were of Osiris, already circulating strongly in the cultures of the time, and used to make sense of the evolving importance placed on this Manifestation. [MEntity] Imagine someone in your time (named "Steve") having a profound message, having it cause a tremendous upset and uproar, but your never really having had any way to meet this person. You hear stories that he can fly, that he can lift great weights, and that he had a hidden identity. The lore of Superman, previously enjoyed only as fiction and fun, now comes to be attributed to this actual figure. [MEntity] So the lore of Superman comes to be the lore of Steve. [MEntity] The lore of Osiris became the lore of Jesus. [Oscar] So what was the real story of his life? [MEntity] Most of the humble beginnings are valid, except for the virgin birth, of course, and the growing conflict within regarding the concept of innocence and sin, prompted by his mother's influence and teaching. [MEntity] Being amid the poverty and suffering while watching divisions grow in society that seemed geared toward punishing and oppressing the poor, or invoking wars among them, the notion of the simple solution of "love one another" came to be upheld as his mission to secure. [MEntity] This was not sappy, or without details, but a serious attempt to encourage responsibility for one another, not just the self, or those similar to self. [MEntity] Over his life, as greater conflict grew within over these anomalies of behavior among people, he turned to the influences of his parents' who were part of the Essene communities of the time. [MEntity] Through his devotion of study and mastery of the Essene school of thought, along with the teachings of his parents', his empathy and compassion was brought to extreme levels of sensitivity. This extended to animals, and the body, and not just to fellow Humans, hence the strict vegetarian diet, regular fasting, and meditation. [MEntity] The Essene were not as strict against the killing of animals for food until Jesus entered for study, so we know this influence was left in ways that were adapted further by later students. [MEntity] The difficulty with hosting an Infinite Soul is that, despite all of the various experiences and challenges that the Personality and Essence take on in the journey to understand, the Logos/Pathos/Ethos ends up as such simplicity that it seems an easy, obvious, and accessible concept for the host to spread as far and as wide as possible. [MEntity] The teaching of Jesus, then, in its simplicity, gave him some amount of confidence and courage. It was not complicated to him. And because he slowly grew to surround himself with those who practiced the teaching, it became increasingly difficult to comprehend the growing hatred for him. [MEntity] He decided to take on great powers beyond him for the sake of his message, and was willing to deal with the consequences, presuming innocently that there would come a realization, a connection, a resonance to his own suffering, if it came to that, because he had so easily grasped the empathy for others' suffering. [MEntity] This is how the myth for his "dying for our sins" came to be. He was willing to suffer so that empathy could be generated, but not for the sake of taking on the burden of "sin" for eternity. [Oscar] What were those great powers? [MEntity] He knew that animals had no choice, no voice to Humans, but that he could endure more and voice that suffering in ways that could be heard, trusting in the humanity at the core of every human. [MEntity] "Great powers," as in the great authorities at the time. [Oscar] ah ok [MEntity] For the most part, his life was spent only trying to generate empathy, for animals, for the body/self, and for each other. This was at the heart of his "love one another, " and his solution to warring, poverty, and social injustices. [MEntity] Keep in mind that empathy was a profound concept at the time, among a Baby Soul mindset. Though this shift was working toward Young, the Logos/Pathos/Ethos will never aim low, since it is based in truth, love, energy. It cannot be. So while empathy may be seem to be well outside of the range of the Baby and Young for implementation, it is not. No Logos, Ethos, or Pathos is beyond any Soul Age for comprehension and application in some way. [MEntity] For the most part, his life was spent only trying to generate empathy, for animals, for the body/self, and for each other. This was at the heart of his "love one another, " and his solution to warring, poverty, and social injustices. [MEntity] The start of the hosting of the Infinite Soul began as he moved through the region of Judea, drawing the crowds that were unprecedented. [MEntity] We can continue to break down the life of the individual fragement's life into further details in other exchanges. Our response here was from a broader perspective of key elements, but for the most part, he had a "normal" life, except that his consciousness would not allow for him to look the other way, to ignore injustices, or to presume that intentional or unconscious causes of suffering was an acceptable part of life. [Oscar] What was the manner of Jesus' death and at what age did he die? [MEntity] Most versions of this fragment died naturally in his 50's and 60's after retreating back to studies, sanctuary, and safety with the Essene, raising a family, and fulfilling all Internal Monads. The deaths were fairly consistently that of age-related slowing of the body and its functions. [MEntity] Some died from complications of wounding, but most did not. [Oscar] Did he travel abroad, or stay in the Palestine area? [MEntity] His travel was fairly limited and did not include any travel abroad. [MEntity] Representatives who felt inclined to pose as him, or to represent his teachings, did travel as a means to help spread the teaching.

    [Excerpt from TT: 2009-09-13] [Question] Michael has said that some parallels were VERY different than others and won’t re-merge back into the total until well into the Causal. Can you give me several examples where history went off on completely different tracks, besides the nuclear war that occurred in one parallel back in our mid-1980s? I was told that I have several parallels that will never merge into this trunk or branch until we’ve all cycled off. I realize that each parallel considers itself to be the “true trunk.” [Michael Entity] Not all parallels consider themselves to be the “true trunk.” It is natural to live as if it is, of course, which is exactly how it is designed to be experienced. The older the soul, and the more exploration of this concept, the more likely the sense of such solidity begins to dissipate, which can make for some very interesting lifetimes for a Personality. When conscious awareness and observation of the literal shifts and changes in parallels are explored by a Personality, it can be terrifying and exhilarating. Much of what is experienced as discrepancies among parallels is ignored, briefly noted and then dismissed, or simply experienced as a private confusion. [Question] Schizophrenia? [Michael Entity] In a very few cases, Schizophrenia might result, but that condition is more a result of an internal breakdown of communication among various sub-personalities assigned to different emotional components of the Personality. In response to your broader question: there are a multitude of parallels that have spun off at various points in your history to become fairly incomprehensible to the Personalities experiencing “this” parallel. Some of those examples would be: 1) Your world as a result of the North of America losing its Civil War, wherein slavery is still common, though with compassionate acts passed to protect the well-being of the slaves. The business of buying, selling, breeding, and exporting people has escalated to a scale fairly difficult to imagine or convey. 2) Another branch has emphasized a move away from all physical contact among people and focused on methods for sustaining that lack of contact, particularly through electronics, personal pods, and egg-shaped, stacked housing that holds only one person. “Families” are clustered together, but even babies are encapsulated upon birth and fed through a means that is built in to the pods. Procreation is done through laboratories and children are assigned. 3) Another branch has emphasized a taboo on “celebrity,” which has become illegal. Those who gain notoriety beyond a certain population count face various forms of punishment, including death. 4) Another branch has never put to use anything beyond the use of natural elements as they occur naturally, or as close to “naturally,” as possible, meaning that living is found in natural creations, such as caves, tree canopies, and some simple structures. There is no electricity and communication is only within shouting distance. The examples can continue, but we can safely suggest that if you can imagine it, it exists in some form. An aside: all parallels have access to each other through that single bridge: Imagination. Imagination is far more a tool than a novelty. The examples we cited today are examples of parallels generated from various points for specific, pivotal reasons: The first example is rather obvious and recent. The second from a point in time you might see as a time of the “Black Plague.” The third originated from a Nexus around 2000 years ago as Christianity gained its footing and the taboo of self-serving positions in society were outlawed below the levels of the church, but another Nexus generated from a massive wave of suicides and stalker/murders in the 80s, merging into each other. The fourth from the impact of weather patterns not moving to any extreme to encourage nomadic behavior. The examples could extend into off-planet contact and integration of alien populations, to a parallel where only 4 bodies remain of your species.

We have been discussing lately the possibility of an Infinite Soul manifesting very soon (as in this month) in the form of a woman. Would you discuss the probability of this occurring? [Michael_Entity] Speculation of that nature can only be that, “speculation.” When the Infinite Soul manifests, it will be known without question. Considering the Infinite Soul is of the utmost compassionate and intelligent capacity, variations in manifesting can fluctuate at any moment. We can say with some degree of accuracy that the female who would host the Infinite Soul is alive, as is the child, who may manifest first. The probability of the Infinite Soul making itself publicly known within this month or the next six months for that matter is quite low. We say this based on our perception at the moment. We do not believe a manifestation would occur before end of 2001, at this point.

    [ShannonB] You told us, long ago, that many of the fragments presently incarnate on this plane were here to witness the Infinite Soul. Now it seems, the IS is not coming in the manner expected. Will all of these millions of incarnates cycle off (or die) and “depopulate” the planet as planned, or have the plans changed? [Michael_Entity] During a period of time wherein the Infinite Soul may manifest, it is not done “lightly.” Though last year appeared to indicate a shift in changes as to whether the Infinite Soul may manifest at all, your coming year may prove to require a continuation as “planned.” In your Time perspective and sense of change, it may appear to be more whimsical than you would think, but it is not. There are parallels where the manifestation has already occurred. There are some where it will not. The probability of a manifestation in this parallel, as it stands tonight, is approximately 44% within 10 years and 67% within 30. As for the “depopulation,” we looked at probabilities approximately 10 years ago for what is now your present and saw a great reduction “by now,” but this has not occurred and does not appear to be. This is a strong indication that Essences are still very eager to enter into exchange while Physical with the Infinite Soul.

    [HectorO-C] I wanted to know if an update on the manifestation of the Infinite Soul was possible. [Michael_Entity] Since the beginning of this year, we have seen a tremendous drop in activity around preparations for a manifestation. The Infinite Soul will only manifest in a parallel or time frame when the Sentience is lacking direction and seeks assistance. A “surprising” factor in the last Nexus is in the detailed filtering of reality options that were leading toward more disintegration. This has created a lull in assessment, a pause, to see what humans will create over this year. It appears your species seeks more integration “on your own” than you might have anticipated. The novelty of having a manifestation may be exciting, but the indication that your species and the planet are transiting in Soul Age with little incidence is equally exhilarating to the soul. This can be likened to a teenager whose “father” threatens to pull over to make a point, but then the teenager making its own efforts to grow and communicate. So our update as far as we can see is a holding pattern. We will comment as this unfolds.

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: September 2008] [Question] I would like clarification re: the 9/12 “Trues”. There are 9 Trues PLUS Life Task/True Work, but the 9 Trues are actually grouped in threes with the True Work to make 3 quadrates. Does that mean there are 3 different aspects to the Life Task/True Work depending on it’s quadrate, thus making 12 Trues, 3 of which are variants of True Work? or is it 9 Trues plus 1 True Work/Life Task? which would make 10 trues . . . [Michael Entity] Both angles of interpretation would work. Technically, there are 9 “Trues” made up of 3 Triads of support for the Life Task in various contexts of “Personal,” “Community,” and “Planetary.” The phrase “True Work” was a kind of shorthand as the original concept was delivered in a consistent way to describe the Personal Quadrate and was interpreted by some as indicating a separate concept from Life Task. However, it is valid to say that the Life Task can be described through various suggestions under a title of “True Work” and each could be more specific to the different Quadrates. In other words, the Life Task would remain the same as an overall arc of description, but methods of action for manifesting the Life Task could be described in terms of True Work on a Personal level, a Community level, and a Planetary level. [Question] so in a sense all 9 Trues combine together as supportive elements of the Life Task which is the summation of the 9 Trues? [Michael Entity] We describe the three Triads as each supporting the Life Task, but the ultimate pattern is one of progressive, though non-linear, evolution, or pyramidal evolution. Any system of 9 is a pyramidal form of evolution in our system, such as the 9 Needs. When a fragment’s Life Task tends to be on a Personal Level, the “base” is built from the Personal Quadrate, or Pillars of Vitality. When a fragment’s Life Task tends to be on a Community Level, the base is built from the Community Quadrate, or Pillars of Harmony. When a fragment’s Life Task tends to be on a Planetary Level, the base is built from the Planetary Quadrate, or Pillars of Transformation. However one “builds” or visualizes this pyramid of evolution, there will be tiers of development that eventually address all Quadrates. We have much more to say about this subject, but will move on for now.     [Excerpt from TT: 2000-03-02] [See Conscious Connection to Essence, Parts 1-3, in their entirety] [Michael_Entity] In our sharing with you our various perspectives of what is and isn’t being conscious of Essence, we believe a practical examination of each Essence Role would be beneficial. In our examination we will share what we perceive are the Maya (or Great Lesson) of that particular role and a more ‘organic’ approach to determining what might be considered rejection of Essence or what might be considered acceptance of Essence. We will note here that the positive and negative poles of the Essence ARE NOT indications of being conscious or accepting of Essence. A fragment in the Negative Poles is just as potentially “in Essence” as a fragment in the positive poles, at least in terms of experiencing its life. What we have sought to exchange with you is what it means to reject Essence or accept Essence as part of your primary being. Those who reject Essence are in deep isolation and a myriad of other traumatic or deteriorating experiences, regardless of how together their life appears or how wonderful their work and relationships and successes are. Those who are accepting and conscious of Essence usually have the enthusiasm to ‘make the best of everything’, even in the midst of what ‘should’ be devastating. Poverty, drama, accidents, horror are NOT signs of disconnection from Essence, they are merely experiences. A positive pole role can still be at its apparent ‘best’ yet still be disconnected from Essence. A negative pole role can be as difficult and trying as expected, and be conscious. The keys are in the act of Decisions and CHOICES. In the moments of your darkest despair, if you can “look up” and recognize that this space is simply where you are at the moment, even if you seek no resolution beyond that realization, half of your battle is completed. When you say “yes, this is where I am right now, I know I could do something but I do not feel like it right now”, you have granted yourself an open door to Essence. Acknowledging your state of mind, your resistance, your struggles, etc. are in that very moment your decision and choice to allow or change, you become immediately centered and present, regardless of your choice in either direction. This will immediately and in that moment connect you consciously to Essence. This does not mean your mood or situation will magically remove itself from your life, but you have opened your world and option for greater probabilities by that single choice, a millionfold. Besides your initial acknowledgment that you may have dropped your connection to Essence, we will say that the most powerful and profound choice you can make next is to ASK FOR HELP. The body is not designed to sustain animation and life without connection to Essence for any extended period of time once sentience has moved in. We want to note at this point that there is no REAL disconnection from Essence; we merely use these terms for convenience, even the term ‘rejection’ is inaccurate in light of the truth, but these terms capture the experience and we will continue to use them with this understanding. We will begin now with each Essence, but first, we will pause for a few questions, if there are any, about what we have shared thus far. Therefore, each Essence will have its “Great Lesson” and this ‘lesson’ will always recur each lifetime in some form. There will be no lifetime that does not struggle with this ‘lesson’, however briefly. Regardless of the dynamics of personality and its chosen emphasis of challenge, the Essence IN ITSELF has its challenges, though it is seen from a very different perspective and eagerly played with. This results from Essence “forgetting” the inherent challenges of the physical plane while being Astral. The body has to regain consciousness each lifetime regardless of soul age and seeks to grow back into the soul age last reached in the previous life. Next we will comment on the ARTISAN. The Artisan who is conscious of and connected to Essence is one that has learned to allow happiness into the life. This may seem deceptively simple and universally applicable, but any true Artisan can tell you that it is one of their Great Lessons to learn to like receiving and indulging in the pleasures of this world. An Artisan who is connected and conscious with Essence has true joy and enthusiasm for the life, allowing whatever levels of prosperity and abundance are appropriate at that moment. They have admitted to themselves what they wanted, what they needed, and they are allowing themselves to have it, to create it. The Artisan that is disconnected or rejecting of Essence feels their needs are too great, that they will never get what they deserve or are not worth the life used on them. Artisans are clever in their disconnection from Essence because they have helped to construct a culture that supports it. It plays on other fragments, deriving from them false compassion and pity, but nothing of value to make the life seem “worth it.” The Artisan disconnected from Essence is self-destruction, manifest. They have determined that they are not worth what they want. The Artisan can endure for years and years in this state, far longer than any other role disconnected from Essence, because this state eventually requires others to reach out and care for them, even if they are not making changes, themselves. Eventually, the Great Lesson is learned and the life is transformed. At some point, and probably more dramatically than any other role, a shift in the life occurs. This brings the Artisan into a space that says YES to life, to what it wants, recognizes its needs and says they are worth pursing it for. Ways for the Artisan to connect to Essence in times of recognized disconnection are through any form of artistic expression, but most especially painting or sculpting, making a concerted effort to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. They can purchase things that feel fun are usually labeled “trivial”, interact with small animals, or dance privately to music.
