Not until yesterday, we don’t know how serious it is. Previously, the available info. on media told us this virus would not transmit from people to people and said it’s much weaker than Sars which burst out in southern areas of China in 2003. No temperature test was set in public areas and no one wore masks at train station before yesterday. Then the news suddenly revealed the increasing number of infected people and 14 medical people have infected so far. Thus, they changed the claim to “it can be transmitted from people to people”. I lived far away from downtown Wuhan. It’s quiet here. I don’t attend much social activities, either. But I do think about buying some masks today. Thanks for the concern! @petra@KurtisM

Same with me, Mike. My usual escape and distraction activities suddenly "don't work". I sometimes process my emotions by watching some emotional film or series while knitting, but this past week I just can't decide what to knit. I begin and unravel a sock 15 times and end up doing the dishes and vacuuming instead! That's just crazy, how did my priorities get so wrong! LOL But seriously, I feel lighter. Like I can forgive everyone, even myself, which is the hardest. I don't feel good all the time, but the undercurrent is... softer and warmer and more caring, somehow. Even when I cry for no reason, I feel it's okay.

This morning I dreamed I was out at my brother's place(he lives in the middle of nowhere) but where we were was easier to get to than his current one. I had something to pick up at his house but when I got there, there was a bunch of my extended family visiting as well. I remember getting a really comforting hug from someone who was either an aunt or a cousin(they look very similar), but were taller and larger framed than in the waking world. Lots of people there I haven't seen for ages, as I don't usually go to the family reunions.

MEntity: The more you let yourself have fun, play, and be useless, the more fun and lighthearted the path to feeling meaningful and useful. MEntity: You will create your path to meaningfulness. It is a path, not a place. It is not a destination, but a realization. It is not a reward, but a reality.

I'm very intrigued by the 1980 Convergence. In 1980 the Global Population was 4.4 Billion. We're 40 years after that with about 7 Billion people. That means there's at least 2 Billion people born in that 1980 Bundle that weren't born here merging with us. The number of things those there did is unimaginable. What kind of corporations, organizations, peace deals and movements got started there that didn't occur here? If the main theme of that Bundle is Environmentalism and Climate Action, I imagine that the youth and (now) young adults born from 1980 to 2020 there have made those themes an intrinsic part of their lives now. Though that world, since it's merging into us also has lead to one where Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Vladimir Putin were put in power, or at least people who are similar enough to them. I would guess the point of Divergence in our history for letting that world merge in with ours was the birth of Extinction Rebellion in October 2018. This Convergence is probably going to boost that movement at least two fold. If it wasn't this Convergence, we would have probably been merging towards the Bundle of Parallels where America became Isolationist and Russia & China became the Global Superpowers, which could've branched from our history during WW1, WW2 and the Cold War Space Race tensions. Anyways, we should keep a note of any strange new people or movements or businesses that show up in our lives this year.

@Evelin, I haven't figured out how to point this to you under your name (sigh) Your dream may be indicative of how unsettled things still are now....we see the potential, we can see the future unfolding and we sense the darkness is lifting....that is the hope we are sensing and feeling...

hi Maureen ! thanks for your comments...I feel as if I'm in touch with a deeper part of myself right now and that those around me (especially my daughter and guy) are going to manifest some cool things this year...My role is to be supportive but I am beginning to feel the energy deepen and expand around them! also, I think the male in the dream must have been one of my guides as I felt no fear from all the water on the other floors.

@Tina I am so glad to hear from You!!! Thank You for telling us whats going on, as an Insider, and that You live far away from downtown Wuhan, without attending much social activities. If you can, burn the masks after usage, avoid for now any fresh products and rather eat canned food. Just be more cautious and aware. Big Hug!!!

Welcome to TLE, @zahra ! This is the best and most informative (and welcoming!) Michael community I've ever been in, and I've learned so much from Troy and all the people here. I know you will, too. The library is a great place to start, and don't worry if you feel like you're drinking from a fire hose! There's a lot to take in. Glad to have you with us! (Seconding @Jeroen - the Michael Newton books are great! I love them!)

I have updated the topic list, simplifying it to show only suggestions for which an appropriate setup question could be determined. I have added comments to all the suggestions that are NOT in this list to identify what is needed to make the suggestion usable. And I've locked some very old suggestions that need to be redone as new suggestions made in a way that the topic can be introduced to Michael appropriately for a 1- to 2-hour session. I will be removing these old suggestions -- or moving them to another forum -- sometime soon. This was necessary to make this forum more useful to Troy when he needs to select a topic. I suspect we'll try to do another poll soon to see which of the existing suggestions gain support for possible sessions in 2020. I'm pretty sure we completed the top 3 session ideas from the last poll we had back in 2017. Please think about new topics you may suggest based on more recent sessions. Many of the suggestions are quite old at this point.

I found this session from Geraldine, in which she asked about the probabilities of Ebola going global in 2014. (This session makes me wonder if there is a set of Parallels where Ebola grew into a Pandemic?) "MEntity: In response to the first question: the probability [for a Global Pandemic] is high in terms of the "top three" trends at this time for population reduction, along with effects of climate change and war. This is not to say that this strain or contagion [Ebola] is "it," but it is a possibility." Well, we got all three now. War, Climate Change, Viral Contagion Pandemic We pretty much get to choose which of these we want this year. Or if we want to take the more humanitarian route with a Crisis of Consciousness.

I also relate to the Devotional Higher Emotional energy. It took a long time and great effort for me to get to this point where I no longer deflect and dread the future, but anticipate it with enthusiasm and optimism. Michael told me that I'm one of the few versions of me that are open minded. I am so fucking glad for that. It took hard self-work. I doubt most other versions of me are responding to life as well. So... hell yeah to dreaming big! That 1980 Convergence is a strange one. It follows after our 1775/76, 1999 and 2002 Convergences. I expect these huge convergences will continue. I would not have been born in that world. My mom would have been playing league field hockey then and my dad would have been a kid. If that 1980 convergence is coming into us, it's possible that both my parents died in that parallel line, allowing for them being alive here to safely merge into that world "again". Also of note in 1980 is that the Iraq-Iran War began following the Iranian Revolutions of 1979.

OMW - Jun 21, 2014 - You and Your Centers Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to discuss each of the Centers/Chakras, not only in terms of their nature, but in fairly personal terms of where and how you are with the health, function, habits, blocks, and balance of your own. Instinctive Center - Regulates Choice What we will do is speak a bit about the Instinctive Center, then address that Center for each of you who are present, then the Lower Centers, then the Higher Centers. We know that time is limited and that we may not cover all of them, but we will attempt to do so. To help deliver this in as succinct a manner as possible, we will cover these elements of each Center: Basic Function, Most Obvious State of Positive Health, Most Obvious State of Negative Health, Most Direct Means of Healing, and then your assessment. The reasons that the "most obvious" states of health can be useful is because these states can help one to sense fairly easily which direction one is leaning, even if nowhere near the extreme. By "health" here we will mean this in terms of the Center, not necessarily in terms of symptoms in the body, which can often be symptoms of combinations of issues and not specific to a Center. For the most part, the more obvious health of your Centers can be seen in your behaviors long before your bodies. First, we will say that Center and Chakra are often used interchangeably because they are the same systems. However, in our teaching, "Center" is a reference to one's habitual "center of gravity," which is how one navigates the life. It is the funnel through which all experiences tend to first be processed by the Personality. Chakras, on the other hand, are more a teaching of the complex system of circuitry that runs as part of the various bodies, including how that links to Essence. In our teaching, "Center" extends to include all of those that are not your habitual "center of gravity" because each Center still has its use of all of the other Centers, its "Parts." So it is fair and safe to use these systems of understanding interchangeably, but there is a difference. Though none of you here are Centered in the Instinctive, your Instinctive Centers are as active as your Primary Center. No body or Personality can function without the Instinctive Center. It is from the Instinctive Center that the Personality arises. This is the only Center that is ever carried forward from each life. All others "die" with the bodies. Think of this as the "floppy disc," to use a rather outdated technological term that is carried from one life to another. It can also be "copied" easily among Concurrents, and then recombined in Reviews. No matter what your Primary Centering, the Instinctive Center will be your Center that regulates your capacity to CHOOSE. So in its simplest terms for this particular exchange on the topic, we will say that its Basic Function is the means by which the Personality will Regulate Choice. When the Instinctive Center is in its Positive Health, it shows up as owning the responsibility, consciousness, and capacity for choice. This means that the individual understands that, however restrictive the contexts, there will always be levels of choice with which one can work. One can be held captive in a box and still know that there is the capacity for choice for one or more bodies. The Physical Body, in that case, may have been stripped of choice, but the intellectual and Emotional bodies may still utilize Choice. This is an extreme, and disturbing, scenario to be used as an example, but we only do so to illustrate that some of your most restrictive scenarios in your life are nowhere near as restrictive as they could be. And you still have choice. The healthy Instinctive Center knows this. This does not mean you like your choices, or your range of choices, and that you may wish to work on expanding your range of choices, but there is, at no point, a sense that one no longer has a choice. The negative health of an Instinctive Center is when one begins to relinquish the responsibility of choice, and default only to reaction (rather than response). This Instinctive Center functions only as a means of navigating away from perceived or real threats. The life is spent only assessing threats. Possibilities become elusive and lose priority. This is sometimes necessary, so we do not mean "negative health" in terms of "bad," but more in the sense that the capacity for conscious choices has been reduced or honed toward only survival. Depending upon your Primary Centering, this can take the form of Emotional Survival, Intellectual Survival, or Material Survival. You will know if your Instinctive Center is leaning toward the Negative Health if you perceive your Emotional realm, Intellectual (expressive/social) realm, or Material Realm to have been reduced to a point of dependency, defense, or desperation. The most direct means of healing the Instinctive Center when in the Negative State of Health, or when damaged or "blocked" in any way, is to ask for help. Even if one were locked in a box, this is true. And most already know this, regardless of Soul Age, and "instinctively" call out for help, even to unknown or invisible forces when having fallen into Negative Health. We can safely say that each of you here lean toward your Negative end of Health for this Center. This is not a static state, but probably relative to your Primary Centering. [ViP1] i'd estimate i'm at the negative end at least 60 or 70 percent of the time [Janet] I’m very surprised. I would have said I lean toward the positive end [ClaireC] I know I fluctuate a lot. [ViP1] these days, at least, I think I've had times in the not too distant past that may have been closer to the opposite [GeraldineB] I'm somewhat surprised, too as while I have medical issues that are ongoing, I am seeking help for them [Ingun] I'm not surprised, I think most people lean more toward struggling in some way with survival issues, but fluctuating a lot. [ClaireC] Defense and desperation ring a bell. :) MEntity: Janet, we are not speaking in static terms, nor in assessment of more recent times, but in broader terms. However, it should be noted that even as each of you are far more conscious and in Positive Health of the Instinctive Center than most, you would not grow if not for the challenges that the Negative bring. [Ingun] Yes, that makes sense. [Janet] I agree that makes sense. [ViP1] what are those broader terms, Michael? [Maureen] I know I have had anxiety for, oh, about 6 million years or so. It's a hard habit to break. MEntity: It is not a report card, but a fact of incarnation. We could have posed the question as a "test" of your own understanding of this, but we do not think that the Instinctive Center is covered enough for that to be a fair question. [Janet] We incarnate in order to learn to choose. Once we have mastered that, we no longer need the experience. MEntity: It is natural for each of you to dip into the Negative on a regular basis, though some will tend to do so in more extreme ways than others. What may be new to you is the context in which this is most often played out, and this would TEND to be through what you identify as your Primary Centering. [GeraldineB] oops -- I slipped up again and used a standard definition for negative pole, not the Michael one MEntity: Even if someone struggles financially, but is Emotionally-Centered, it is in terms of Inspiration, self-esteem, meaning, etc. that this struggle plays out. Yes, there will still be the material, of course, but this person may have a much more difficult time separating his status from his sense of value. So when each of you sense your move into Negative Health of your Instinctive Center, note that, first, there is likely still a great range of choice, even if not what you would wish for it to be, and that you can make the effort to respond, rather than react, as a means of navigating a scenario, and finally, that you can ask for help. You may not get it, or you may have to ask more than you would like, but remembering that you can ask, that you have a right to ask, and that you may need to ask, is healthy. By "asking for help" here we do not mean coaxing someone else to do the work that you can do. Though we described each of you as leaning toward the Negative Health, we did so to point out its necessity to do so as a part of your living a life. Now we ask that each of you consider your own assessment. Share what you think is your likely percentage of Positive Health vs Negative Health as you see your life right now. [ViP1] for me, same as mentioned earlier - 60 to 70 percent in the reaction/survival in response to "threats" mode, which I understand now as Negative end of health of the instinctive center [GeraldineB] I would say that I'm reasonably healthy both mentally and emotionally, am in a state of wellbeing -- maybe 80% -- but, physical, am declining, so would put that at 50% or less even though I am seeking help [ViP1] by the way, that "right to ask for help" - is that one of the 7 basic Rights, Michael? [ClaireC] I could definitely ask for help a lot more, from my guides and Essence I suppose. [ClaireC] Positive 75% Negative 25%. [Maureen] I would say I may be at 80% Negative Health but I'm finding it hard to put a number to it. [Janet] It is hard for me to ask for help but I think I do it more often than I used to do. I’ve been working to avoid being reactionary. I am generally conscious of my right to choose. I can’t give a percentage for right now. I will have to give it thought. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but between Pos 40 - Neg 60 [GeraldineB] I still am locked into a belief system of "permanent conditions," rather than one that could be changed by other beliefs and/or Essence [ClaireC] I think our physical health affects our emotional health and outlook. MEntity: Visaish, yes. The "right to ask for help" is a subset of the most basic Right to Be Real, to Exist. No one exists in a vacuum. [ViP1] great, thank you (as I saw from other material you shared through Troy, that is indeed the Right that is related to the Instinctive Center.) [Ingun] I would guess I sometimes can be in more than 60% Neg Health also, and also in more than 40% Pos Health [Ingun] I'm also working on asking more for help. [Maureen] I have a hard time asking for help. Half the time I wouldn't even know what to ask for. It's more feelings. MEntity: We would wish to add that "asking for help" includes asking this of yourself. For some, this does not occur to them. There is a complete sense of paralysis, fear, defense, distance, etc. They can even use their conscious choice to refuse to choose. [ClaireC] Our interactions with Michael are a way of asking and receiving help. [ViP1] agreed, Claire MEntity: Claire, we agree. [Maureen] I agree too Claire. MEntity: We would point out that our exchanges with you, in that regard, are not one-way. You help us. Our invitation to our teaching is a request for your help. We cannot evolve without you. [ViP1] oh wow, that really touches me for some reason... [ViP1] but I'm glad to help [ClaireC] That is touching, ViP. MEntity: Existence is never a vacuum. Not even in the High Planes. [ViP1] "Vacuum" and "aloneness" are different things, in the way you use those terms, right Michael? [Maureen] I do ask Essence and my Guides for help and Michael, of course. It's just harder to ask for what I need from a living, breathing person. [Maureen] maybe it's a Priest thing. [ClaireC] But you're really good at offering and giving help, Maureen. MEntity: Correct. Aloneness is recognition of one's existence as singular representative of wholeness, while being a part of a greater wholeness. Vacuum is an emphasis on a false sense of distance between the self and other. Maureen, eventually, it is understood that help is effective and accessible from all realms of relevance. [Maureen] understanding it and asking for it are two different things -- aren't they? MEntity: It is often useless to ask "God" or guides to help one with material concerns, for instance, and much more effective to ask for help from those within the relevant realm. "God" and guides can help one with the less-dense dimensions. We agree, Maureen. [ViP1] you agree that this is a difficulty that Priests especially have, Michael? MEntity: That is the case with any learning. The gap between learning and application. [ViP1] oh sorry, never mind MEntity: It is not unique to Priests. [ViP1] that's what I thought, I misunderstood which of Maureen's comments you were responding to - please ignore, sorry MEntity: We understand. To continue with the Centers: [ViP1] by the way Michael, what do you think of our assessments of ourselves in terms of negative vs positive percentages for the Instinctive centers? MEntity: We think they are fair, even if leaning a bit on the high side for Negative Health. We think that each of you are closer to the middle than that. [ViP1] ok, thank you! MEntity: The assessments we see are when you are at your "worst." To clarify: the assessments each of you offered are more accurate to when you are at your "worst." [Maureen] When I am bad -- I am really bad. :) [ClaireC] :) [Ingun] How will it be played out if an Intellectually-centered person struggles financially? MEntity: This might tend to show up more in terms of how this represents the individual, how others might see that individual, and/or how this person struggles to express himself or herself, to give presence and form to the self in the world. It is a struggle with havingness and self-worth. Which is different from self-esteem, by the way. Self-esteem is how one feels about the self, while self-worth is about how one thinks about the self. Self-esteem is the use of relationships as reflections of self. Self-worth is the use of things as expressions of self. [Ingun] Thanks. Please continue with the centers/chakras ... Moving Center - Linked to Goal MEntity: MOVING CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your movements, directions, and paths. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates WHAT WORKS and WHAT DOES NOT WORK. This is everyone's means of creating or clearing his or her path through life. It is directly linked to the Goal. No matter what your Goal, in terms of Axis, it is your ACTIONS that create or clear your path to fulfilling it. One cannot fulfill their Goal in any lifetime without ACTION. In Positive Health, this shows up as an evolving capacity for LEARNING. Though learning happens among all Centers, there must be application and implementation for true learning while in a body. Regardless of one's Primary Centering, this Center is where one actually learns, at least in terms of the lifetime. Not necessarily how one learns math or how to raise a plant. Those who are Moving Centered will tend to have greater emphasis on the Goal as their priority for the life. When the Moving Center is in Negative Health, it often shows up for the older soul as AGITATION. One of the most direct means of healing this Center is to apply what one has learned. It is that simple. Keep in mind that this prompt for application of learning can come in the form of impulses, a quiet sense of knowing what one "should" do, and often as your means of handling pain. On the scale between AGITATION and APPLICATION/LEARNING, where do each of you feel you might fall in terms of learning? You need not use a number, just a sense of direction. [ViP1] I think I lean more toward agitation, but not too far off the "50/50" mark [Janet] I have been studying and have received many tips from you Michael that would aid in my goal of (self-)Dominance. But the tips are hard to apply so I clearly haven’t learned them. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Maureen] I have one foot in agitation and one foot in application -- on average I'm uncomfortable. [ClaireC] Confusion at times, some Agitation. [ViP1] I think I tend to react to agitation with freneticism and/or tendencies to addictive behaviors as a distraction from the agitation, but I do believe I'm getting better at applying what I am learning [ClaireC] I work on Application constantly. MEntity: The reason there is a Goal is because it will require the use of the Moving Center in some way, even if one is not Moving Centered. When looking at how you are Agitated, look to your Goal. In most cases, it is directly relevant. [Maureen] That makes sense. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but 45-55 [Janet] Oh that’s good advice. MEntity: It would indicate that you may not be applying all that you have learned. [GeraldineB] I could be self-deluded, but I don't feel all that much agitation with my Goal -- I've gotten quite patient with myself MEntity: Agitation tends not to come unless there is Learning that is not being applied. Agitation is a kind of short-circuiting that indicates the gap between action and experience/knowledge. [GeraldineB] I'm in such a constant state of learning, it's like all of it just keeps rolling over and into itself [ViP1] I like that description of Agitation [ClaireC] Me too. [Maureen] Me too [ViP1] :-) [Ingun] I know I'm not applying everything I have learned MEntity: For example, if you you find yourself in a pattern of Agitation with certain "kinds of people," or a circumstance, or relationship, you may not be applying the experiences and knowledge that has come from previous fulfillment of the Goal. [Janet] That definitely happens to me. I’m doing better though. MEntity: Each of you continue to do better. If not, you would not be here. [ClaireC] I would imagine that one's Frequency of processing would help here. MEntity: It is relevant, but one end of the range is not better than another. Not allowing oneself to process at one's natural Frequency can be troublesome, though. [ViP1] you said that when not manifesting Essence, one tends to process closer to the default Frequency of their Role, rather than the Frequency of their Spark/Essence, right Michael? [GeraldineB] I'm not familiar with that idea -- does each role have a default frequency? [ViP1] it appears so, it was in a question that I asked in a Michael Speaks [ViP1] or a default range of frequencies [ViP1] or an Ask Michael, I can't remember which MEntity: In the same way that Bodies are 100% Male Energy when of the male gender or 100% Female Energy when of the female gender (in most cases), so are Roles locked into a range of frequency. This range of frequency is not the same as that of Essence, so Essence will trump that frequency, in the same way that it does in the Body's Energy Ratio. This is how one can find a low Frequency Priest and a high Frequency Priest, even if the default range of frequency for the Priest Role is high. And how one can find a high "female energy" man and a high "male energy" female. When one neglects the care of the body, Energy Ratio starts to move toward the default. When one rejects Essence, the default range of frequency for processing in the Personality is that of the Role. [GeraldineB] Do we have a list of the defaults for each Role? [ViP1] ok, so that is the case when rejecting essence, rather than NOT Manifesting essence then (rejecting Essence is not the same as not Manifesting Essence) [ViP1] Not through Troy, G [ViP1] not that I know of at least [ViP1] sorry if I'm derailing the topic of the session by now though... please continue with the Centers if we can take up Frequency further in a different exchange :-) Emotional Center - Linked to Mode MEntity: The EMOTIONAL CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your intimacy, empathy, and sensitivity. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that is how one navigates between MEANINGFUL and MEANINGLESS. This is everyone's way of infusing or extracting meaning from his or her path/experiences in life. It is directly linked to the MODE. No matter what your Mode, in terms of Axis, it is your EMOTIONS that create or destroy your sense of meaning from your experiences. One cannot fulfill any range of significance in intimacy, sensitivity, without having infused or extracted Meaning. One cannot implement the Mode in any healthy way without evolving one's range of INSPIRATION. The more one limits his or her sense of Inspiration, the less-likely one can relate to others, to see himself or herself in others, and more importantly, less-likely to recognize others in himself or herself. By "others," we speak of any creature, sentient or non-sentient. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as showing up as GIVING/GENEROUS. In Negative Health, it can show up as RESENTFUL. The means by which the Mode is fulfilled at its best is when approached from this state of Giving/Generosity. The trick here is that no lifetime can be experienced without some experience in giving, but when one begins to keep score, to stand in righteousness, to give when not fully capable of giving, then Resentment begins to step in. So the evolution of Giving is a matter of one's evolution of Meaning. As each of you look at your Emotional Center, how often do you feel Resentment? How often do you feel that you Give in meaningful ways? How honest are you in your stating Yes? No? [Janet] ‘Resentful’ feels strong but I recognize it at times. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Janet] I think we are hoping to pursue intellectual center to get a balanced transcript. [GeraldineB] Yes, I agree with Janet MEntity: In that case, we will close on the Emotional Center by stating that the state of your relationships is a fair means of assessing where you are in terms of Health in the Emotional Center. Intellectual Center - Linked to Attitude The INTELLECTUAL CENTER, then, has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your impact, effect, and presence on your path in this life. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates between HONESTY/Innocence and DECEIT/Jaded. This is everyone's way of testing out behaviors, traits, and negotiation in terms of their effects, impact, and presence in form. It is directly linked to the ATTITUDE. No matter what your Attitude, in terms of Axis, it is your INTELLECTUAL CENTER that runs the core of your basic philosophy about this life. One cannot test out one's philosophy without experimenting in the range between Honesty and Deceit, both in terms of others and the self. The Attitude cannot function in any healthy way without this Center moving more and more toward Honesty. The more one limits his or her sense of Expression, which can show up as false personas, lying to oneself, lying to others, not questioning inherited philosophies, avoiding contact, evading society, etc. the more one falls into Deceit. Or Jaded. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as ENCOURAGED. In Negative Health, it can show up as DISMISSIVE. The means by which the Attitude is held in the Positive Pole is at its best when one is Encouraged, or Encouraging. The most direct way of healing this Center is through QUESTIONING. By this we mean that one does not operate from a higher proportion of presumptions and prejudices than one does from curiosity and inquisitiveness. So the questions here, for your assessment of health of the Intellect, is in how often you feel discouraged, jaded, avoiding of contact vs curious, inquisitive, and having an impact. How often do you turn to your sense of encouragement over your sense of dismissiveness? [Janet] This is one center where I think I’m on the positive side. [Janet] Recently anyhow. [ViP1] I think I too might be slightly more on the positive side recently, than the negative [ClaireC] Michael, does this apply to the Intellectual Part as well? MEntity: We are speaking today of these Centers, regardless of Part or Primary. [ClaireC] Okay. [ClaireC] I tend to be on the Positive side here. [GeraldineB] I'm definitely on the more positive side -- it's a major component of post-5th IM MEntity: All of these Centers are functioning in each of you in many ways at all times, though the range varies in terms of health and awareness. [Ingun] I'm sure I have a potential for healing here as well as in all my centers. [Janet] Since yours is an intellectual teaching MIchael, are most of us here more likely to lean toward the positive side of this center? Is there a correlation between being drawn to these teachings and the impact on the intellectual center? MEntity: We think we have shared enough for each of you to consider how these can be checked on for their health, and how to bring them back into positive health, if you choose to do so. It can also help you to understand the point of your falling into negative health, which is not because of failure or doing something "wrong," but that you have a chance to evolve. [Maureen] I'm been focusing on the internal dialogue that goes on in this center as a way towards better health. It isn't always what other people see or how you are in relationships that need "the work". MEntity: Ingun, yes. We will conclude here today by saying that each of you, while allowing yourselves the room for the Negative Health of these Centers, always move back into Positive Health as your integration and evolution. That is the nature of the older souls in positive poles. That is the nature of a true student.

There are a limited number of featured items that will show in the space provided for them. If there were not, you'd end up with a whole page of featured articles and then none would get prominence. Newer topics get priority, and that's appropriate. As topics are unfeatured, the Mystery Links should appear again. Tip: The "Unread Content" page (accessed from Activity Feed menu option) has more featured topics than the home page.

@Ingun, I remember reading about her. She sounds like such an interesting person and has done well to make a life for herself outside of being royal. In Michael terms, learning how to choose her own path! These days, it's much rarer to automatically follow in the footsteps of one's parents when it comes to work and career. Yes, there are children of lawyers who become lawyers, political dynasties, etc. but it seems less compelled "My father did X, so I must do X." "My mother was a homemaker and so I have to be." It's not surprising really to see this go all the way up the chain to royalty.

@CurvyWords Jacque Fresco and co.'s site Venus Project is a great read and vital to understanding the RBE. Once you understand how to communicate it to others, do share it. I've talked about the RBE with far more than 100 people now. It's what I intend to contribute to in my life.

I agree that it's not their fault and they shouldn't be blamed or demonized. I do, however, think that "support our troops" is a cultural norm that needs to die. Soldiers are not, by and large, evil people, and through a combination of propoganda and perverse financial incentives, most have been essentially tricked into their service. But they aren't heroes by virtue of their service either. They're generally well-meaning people who have unwittingly contributed to a harmful force in the world. That calls for support in the sense of compassion, but not admiration as is demanded in modern American culture.

@Christian, maybe you are feeling some needed comfort. It would make sense if you are feeling truly relaxed, or need to catch up on rest, that you are allowing your body to relax fully. I find myself relaxing completely at either (? lol) inconvenient or strange times. I put it down to a critical mass effect - your body may have needed to take time to process, so it is placing clear limits on what it is allowing you to do, versus what you *wanted* to do in that moment. It happens to me too, I am grateful for it, but it sometimes happens at inconvenient moments when it is unplanned!

Michael, in today's Michael Speaks we would like to learn more about Abrading Overleaves, both Internal and External, by elaborating on the following: 1) a short Q&A on External Abrasion, 2) a statement you made to The Original Michael Group re: Internal Abrasion, and, 3) some insight you gave in a private session on the Geometry of the Overleaves. 1) All Overleaves in the Negative Poles. All Overleaves on an Axis. Overleaves with numerical values that add up to more than 7. For example, the Exalted Action Axis carries an inherent value of 7 and will tend to have the most abrasion with other Overleaves. A King must learn very quickly how to work with this natural state of abrasion. It is what hones the King into a great leader. The Exalted Inspirational Axis has an inherent value of 6 and can be quite abrasive to all Overleaves not associated with Server (1). The inherent bond of a set of Overleaves on an Axis that "adds up" to 7, such as Re-evaluation (1) and Growth (6) also comes with inherent abrasion by being on an Axis together. This makes for a kind of yin/yang dynamic that helps the personality "slide" between these as necessary. It is a misnomer for us to use a King as an example above. We speak of the Axis that are King Overleaves. Abrasion is rarely between Roles, only the Overleaves and how they are used. 2) Where the "mathematics" are compatible, the contact may be established more easily. Just as the polarities emphasize reciprocity, so the mathematical balances reveal the presentation of the Fragments, by which we mean that the true personality establishes reciprocities within itself. Where this does not occur, we speak of overleaves that abrade inwardly, just as we have often pointed out the problems of overleaves that abrade between individual Fragments. These inward abrasions are occasionally perceived as neurotic aspects of a personality, and there are certainly times that we would agree with the assessment. But when such overleaves are chosen, they are intended to make certain experiences and lessons possible.* 3) The dynamic of his Overleaves would naturally make for a rather complex Personality, in that a great deal of his design is not particularly "straight-forward." If you can imagine the "shape" of Overleaves, many may be more like a faceted egg-shape when working together as a Personality, but some are more like blocks connected by circuitry. In the same way that some of our students explore our system as "Michael Math," there is also a kind of "geometry" to the Overleaves. In some combinations, the system is less cohesive, and relies upon a kind of circuitry among the parts, and this can sometimes break down, or seem disjointed to someone whose Overleaves are more "seamless." (*Thanks for the quote from TOMG @Felicitas Brenner!!)

From Michael Speaks: November 2012: [Janet] During a recent POF you gave me this: MEntity: There are vortexes on the planet, 'power spots,' as a result of valid 'ley lines,' if you will, that tend to be gravitational points for Essences. … The ley lines of a planet tend to develop along the same lines of the geometry of sentience calling that planet, 'home.' The area of Greece was a birthplace for many archetypes of consciousness." What exactly are ley lines? Are they part of our world's design, or the physical structure of the planet? From the response quoted above, it seems they may be somehow created in association with activities or design of the sentient species? [MEntity] "Ley Lines" is an arbitrary term to describe a valid network of circuitry that exists as part of a planet's chakra system, if you will. In much the same way that a body is still alive, even if not sentient, so can a planet be. However, in the same way that a body then changes because of the Sentience, so does a planet, each reflecting the design of that sentience. Once Sentience becomes a part of a system, it must have a circuitry through which it can manifest and be sustained. This is immediately in place on a rudimentary level upon first incarnation of Sentience, and more often in place previous to that through the work done collectively exploring the Kingdoms of that planet. This circuitry is not imposed, but does evolve and change, and eventually degrade. The first structures are based in what is available, and this quickly evolves. In this case, the carbon molecule was used as the starting point. Cetaceans gave rise to some strengths in the network before human Sentience arrived, lending some comfort in the transition from the Sirius system. As incarnations unfold across the planet, then, this network grows in complexity and strength, based on civilizations, cultures, societies, that rise and fall. Imagine this circuitry as something similar to how an atmosphere works for the body. This must be in place for the body to function, and so this circuitry must be in place for the Essence. That atmosphere MUST be compatible with the body or it will die. This circuitry must be compatible with Essence, or it cannot incarnate at all. This circuitry acts as a kind of gravity for the soul, if you will. Over the course of incarnations, Configurations, Working Groups, Essence Twins, Task Companions, Entities, Cadres, Energy Rings, work to develop various points and lines in this network. That "work to develop" is simply a by-product of incarnation, and the use of the matter of that part of the planet as cycled through the body. This is how one might begin to then find oneself strangely attracted to geographical areas of the planet that have never been visited, or to be moved by those when visited. "Your" matter, literally, is a part of that region, a part of the cycling of matter local to that region. Exploring the carbon molecule and how it functions can lend insight into these "ley lines" and vortexes that is reflective of Human Sentience. We have more to say on this subject, of course.

Hello to each of you. We are here, now. Today we are asked to speak on the subject of cancer. We will begin by clarifying that our perception is not one of a practical and local doctor, and our information shared here is to be considered along with any acute perceptions within the Physical Plane that may prove helpful in navigating and understanding cancer. What we will address today is the broader phenomenon of cancer, and not the variations of named cancers. The types of cancers known are usually indicative of starting points, but all cancer is fairly similar in dynamic. Cancer is considered a disease because of its impact on the body and its seeming effect of turning against the host in a way that is lethal. However, cancer is grossly misunderstood as being only a disease, when it is, in fact, a defense. Cancer is understood as shortening the life or causing the death, and this is true to some extent, but it is the body's overcompensatory method of extending life. It may seem contradictory because of the prognosis for many cancers, but the cancer, ironically, does more to extend the life than it does to end it. Cancer is a response to extreme trauma in the body. This trauma comes in 3 primary forms: practical carcinogens, stress, and diet. Practical carcinogens are those known (and unknown) environmental elements that cause trauma in the body in a way that prompts cancerous growth. This would include such things as certain chemicals, pollutions, radiation, etc. These are causes in many cases, but more often than not they are triggers for activation of cancer that was long in the works before that trigger. This is why one smoker can develop cancer while another does not. In cases where the carcinogen is a "true cause," then the ratio of activation of cancer is fairly predictable. In other cases these carcinogens are merely triggers for activation of cancer more directly caused by the other two forms of trauma. Though it could be said that stress and diet fall under the umbrella of "carcinogen" in many ways, we differentiate these from the practical carcinogens because they are often far more insidious and accepted, though there is an argument that could say the same for pollutions and toxins in the environment. However one might navigate the world of toxic waste and pollution, it is much more difficult to note the degree of trauma one is causing from stress and diet. In other words, you can live as healthy as you can, live in the best of environments and close to nature, but if your diet and stress is not addressed, you are at risk for cancer. Along with higher exposure to practical carcinogens, the higher and more chronic the stress, and the more empty of nutrition the diet, the ratio for cancers increase in that population. Chronic stress and chronic intake of unhealthy foods traumatize the body in ways that are only very minimally understood. We know there is information that speaks to these concepts in terms of choice for health, but they are far more serious than that. They are at the core of what, eventually, kicks the body into an instinctive survival mode that resorts to cancer as its last effort to survive. By "chronic stress" we include self-condemnation , worry, anxiety, self-loathing, hatred, distrust, resentment, denial, delusion, depression, etc. By "chronic stress" we mean that these and similar states are upheld for more than half of your waking state, consciously or subconsciously. This kind of stress destroys the defenses of the bodies. We include the emotional, intellectual, and physical bodies here. We wish to make it very clear that one is not to blame for one's cancer if one has developed it. There is no relevance to blame. If a person were so upset that as he walked he tripped into traffic and was hit by a car, it would be useless to blame him or the car. It is the intersection of two completely separate trajectories that simply must now be dealt with. It is the same with cancer. The trajectory of stress meets with the trajectory of survival. The body wants to live. It is designed to survive. All auto-immune deficiencies, in fact, are efforts to survive, not to turn on the body. There is nothing that body does in any biological sense that is not for the intention to survive. Even aging is included in this, and worth considering discussing at some point as a topic. Stress as a cumulative trauma to the body destroys the defenses over time and cancer can develop as a final effort to survive without those defenses. Diet is the brother to stress, so to speak, and both go hand-in-hand in many ways. The more nutritionally-void the diet, the more likely the consequences can be cancer. The more toxic the diet, the more likely the consequences can be cancer. There is validity to the phrase "eat to live, rather than live to eat." Most modern cultures are lacking in two vital forms of education: how to eat, and how to manage resources. In fact, most are inculcated with diametrically opposed education that diminishes the life force. When the diet is doing more harm than health over time, and there is chronic stress in some form, both of which can be upheld with a great smile and a happy life, can result in cancer. All of this ties back to the Need of Expansion. The relationship of a culture to the Need of Expansion can reveal how at risk a society is for cancer. For many, Expansion is superficially fulfilled. Stimulation, distraction, hoarding, territorialism, etc. These are not the problem. They are part of the spectrum of Expansion. The problem comes in when this Need is not fulfilled to any degree beyond the 3rd Degree. For review, the degrees of expansion are: 1) Physical Tumors/Cancer, 2) Accumulation, 3) Sprawl/Territorial, 4) Conceptual Challenge, 5) Emotional Growth/Maturity, 6) Transformation/Transmutation, and 7) True Prosperity/Gratitude. Every known "cause" of cancer comes from this effort to fulfill the Need of Expansion. From the practical carcinogens of waste and toxins to self-loathing to unconscious eating habits that have no concern for consequences. Expansion is a Need that is often neglected, ignored, shamed, or overcompensated for. Models for those who fulfill Expansion have rarely been of help for education and understanding of this Need. What tends to happen then is the cumulative effects of false Expansion until there is collapse under the weight. And cancer forms. We wish to point out that we speak in broad terms today. We cannot speak to the variations on cancer and the individual or culture and their specific patterns, but we think this overview can be useful. What we speak of today is not to encourage a rise of Expansion to the top of your list for consideration as priority, but that it be included in your spectrum of Needs that you will seek to fulfill, whether you realize it or not. To help simplify the aim away from cancer and toward a true fulfillment of Expansion is to aim toward True Prosperity and Gratitude. True Prosperity is a management of resources in a way that does not dismiss them simply because you could have more or that you need more. Gratitude is the means by which one sustains fuel for enthusiasm and effort. For the older soul, Expansion is the Need to BE HERE. It is that simple. Yes, it is also the Need to grow, expand, evolve, etc, but this is most easily understood in the most intimate of terms when described as your need to BE HERE. You want to be here. You are here. You Are. This Need need not be only fulfilled by reaching false standards set by marketing, or reached through the consuming of foods simply because you can, or through the constant berating of yourself for not being more. If you choose to do so, take the next step upward in the rung of Expansion and challenge your thinking, challenge your notions, challenge your patterns of perception, challenge your habits, challenge your ideas and concepts. Reach beyond those handed down to you and build your infrastructure from active and conscious choice. There will always be risks in the Physical Plane around scathing, harm, and health, no matter what you do, but what you do does matter. This is especially true if already diagnosed with cancer. It is not just a biological reaction to help extend the life. It is an effort to overhaul the entire spectrum of bodies. There are very few who are diagnosed with cancer who are not thrown into a completely new effort to climb the rungs of Expansion toward Gratitude. For most who are diagnosed and move into remission or complete elimination of cancer, it is rarely due to treatments and remedies and far more to do with that successful overhaul. Treatments and remedies support that process, but cannot replace it. Many forms can be "cut out" or "cut down," but the risk of return is much higher if that overhaul is not completed. Sometimes there is a point of no return, but that overhaul is still vital for how the life will transition into Review. This was a particularly uncomfortable topic for our channel and we will close the discussion today without questions and answers. If there is interest, we can continue our conversation with you on this topic in further exchanges. We must conclude here for today, however. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now.

[Extracted from Michael Speaks: Inputs] MEntity: ... First, we will define “INPUT” as a channel or frequency through which an Essence becomes aware, processes, and comprehends. ... 3 of the Roles in Essence have ONE INPUT; these are the Scholar, Warrior, and King Essences. ... The strange distribution of Inputs has to do with the Roles themselves acting as “sensory units,” so to speak, for Tao. Because the Physical Plane is of the most unique and densest of all Planes, three Roles in Essence are distributed with ONE INPUT so as to gain awareness, Process, and Comprehend FROM BEGINNING TO END in a linear fashion inherent to the Physical Plane. ... The Scholars (who are the memory cells of Tao in many ways) have ONE INPUT so as to maintain a direct link to the Akashic Records/Plane. Because Scholars are specifically designed as ambient, experiential “sponges”, this ONE INPUT allows them to act as excellent, direct, recording devices and conduits between the Physical Plane and the Akashic Plane. Although all fragments update their own records (usually having to be done between lives or through conscious awareness), Scholars do so for themselves, their Entity, and/or Cadre. Because Scholars, Warriors, and Kings are by nature inclined to focus on very specific themes for study, conquest, or mastery (respectively), having One Input allows them to excel in the Task at Hand (by standards of Essence.) With this understanding, it would not be amiss to say that ALL FRAGMENTS have at least One Input focused on NOW, or in other words, capable of being focused on the present, the task at hand, the moment, etc. The following information was appended to the original Michael Speaks transcript from which this material was extracted: MEntity: In general, Kings, Warriors, and Scholars, can "only" process one theme at a time, whether the Personality is submerged in several experiential themes or not. If needed, the focus of the Input can change for some lengths of time, but these Roles will not find the comfort and adaptability to be submerged in several themes at once. We are not speaking of their being capable of watching TV while sewing. We are speaking of actual life themes as they apply to Essence's digestion of them. Scholars, Warriors, and Kings move steadily and enduringly through their experiences until comprehension is attained. We say "comprehension" as it applies to ESSENCE, not necessarily Personality. Until the Older Soul Ages, Personality is not so concerned with comprehension simultaneously to Essence's comprehension. Question: This is a generic Michael question beyond just Inputs, but I'm wondering how Scholars keep "records" differently from other Roles. MEntity: Scholars not only manage their own Records, but as each Essence updates its own records within the Entity and Cadre, the Scholars update the Akashic Records. In other words, each Essence has its own "personal library", but the Scholar extends on that to make that information "universal". Keeping that information as up-to-date, so to speak, as possible allows many versions of consciousness and sentience to draw from it. This is the stuff of new universes. Scholars have One Input as having One Input increases the durability to indulge in specific experiences, rather than touching briefly on a theme, and then moving to new ones, then returning later with new awareness. Scholars complete their themes so as to have a "purer" experience.

[Excerpt from Ask Michael: January 2015] Janet: Michael, last year at this time you gave us a list of the 7 elements that prompted learning in the year of the Priest, in the form of questions to ask ourselves. Can you provide the 7 elements that prompt our learning in this Scholar year? MEntity: What efforts did you make to validate your theories through experiences? Were you willing to be wrong as a way to learn? Are you telling the truth, or is your reality telling the truth? (if they are in conflict). (Are you contributing to the creation of your life, or do you feel you are the created result of your life.) Are you participating in life, or presuming you are a separate thing from your life? What conditions have you placed on receiving and giving Love in your life? Is your past a "guidepost" or have you turned it into a "hitchpost?" What do you find yourself distracted with in trying to get others to learn (about you, about themselves, about life)?

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks - Open Floor - February 2000] [MaryBV] I am under the impression that a person’s aura fluctuates and changes quite a bit. Do the roles in essence have certain signature colors? Does your frequency have any determination in the color of the aura? [Michael_Entity] Yes, you are correct. Each Role can be said to resonate with the colors commonly attributed to the Chakras. It takes some practice to specifically “see” that level, but it can be done. Frequency creates the “hue” of that color. We remind you that as you are Physical, it is impossible to “see” another’s Aura without the colors of your own being used as a filter. If you hold a red film up to yellow, you will get a completely different color than if you held up a blue filter to yellow. Keeping that in mind, you may have to calibrate or adjust your perceptions so they can be interpreted properly.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: July 2004] [BingeBuddie] I know this may seem like a very basic question, but I have had a hard time validating my role in essence. With so many factors to consider such as casting, ET influence, overleaves, and entity position, etc. is there any definitive way to determine your role? I’ve went with channels in the past, but that causes confusion because it's difficult to tell what one input is as opposed to many inputs, such as Scholar having one and Artisan having 5. One channel Roles (Scholar, King, and Warrior) can concentrate in the midst of chaos right? So that’s kind of what I try to look at. Is that a good indicator? MEntity: No, we would not suggest using your ability to concentrate as your determining factor. The symptom of concentration vs. distraction in terms of Input is another of the simplifications that can happen when first learning about a part of the teaching. While it is true that an Essence with a single input can usually focus more intently in the midst of chaos, the influence of Personality, Imprinting, and Situations can greatly affect that level of concentration. What we would suggest as part of your validation of your Role in Essence is this: First, study the Roles. It is important to truly comprehend each Role. This means moving beyond the stereotypes that are a part of the initial stage of learning. Next, it is important to understand the vital differences between Essence and Casting. Casting affects how you behave “naturally”, how you express yourself to the world on a DAILY BASIS. Your Essence Role is most obviously comprehended in moments where you feel you SHINE. For instance: A Scholar-Cast Sage: In the daily life of this individual he may appear unkempt, distracted, refined, studious, directed, serious, and maybe even a bit out of synch socially, but this fragment would “shine” as soon as he was able to publicly share what he has gained as experiences in a way that was entertaining to at least a small group. A Sage-Cast Scholar, on the other hand, may be dramatic, socially obnoxious, emotional, depressed, extreme, performing, and chaotic in his daily life, but this fragment would “shine” when he is able to wholly comprehend something that can be finalized as a bit of profound personal knowledge. We do not know of a more appropriate word than “shine”. When you are in Essence, you feel complete, “on”, and you usually feel cohesion between your mundane self and your higher self. When we say “shine”, we do not intend to mean that everyone will see this, but rather that the Personality and Essence open to each other and a sense of lightness and wholeness pervade. We explain all of this to you in the context of an Essence having a different Role than Casting, but of course, there ARE Sage-Cast Sages and Scholar-Cast Scholars, but those fragments usually have little confusion as to their Role. Having explained those basic differences between Casting and Role in Essence, you can then figure out your Role or Casting by first determining if you feel you are more exalted or more ordinal in either of those contexts. In other words, in your DAILY LIFE, are you more one-on-one, but when you “shine”, are you surrounded by people? One-on-One might indicate a more Ordinal position, while being inclined toward groups can be an indication of an Exalted position. Once you have determined how you may behave in either context, you can then determine if you feel you are more compelled to have an inspiring, expressive, or active effect on your environment. This will then give you an indication as to the final role description you might be in your Casting or your Essence. For example, you may notice you are naturally more one-on-one in your daily life, thus indicating that you may be Ordinal-Cast, but when you “shine”, you notice you love to be in a group of people in some way, indicating you may be an Exalted Essence Role. Then you would determine if you are more inclined to be expressive, inspiring, or active in your daily life. If you find you are more concerned with inspiring, you could then safely start trying out the idea that you may be SERVER-CAST. When you “shine”, you may find you are more inclined to be expressive, entertaining, and teaching-oriented, which may indicate a SAGE ESSENCE. This would then be a Server-Cast Sage. We realize this can still be very confusing and difficult to determine, but it is a start. Because the Scholar Role is neutral, it can be the most difficult to determine and we would not be able to convey in this format the depth of questioning that would need to be explored for true validation of the Essence or Casting. One of the most important things you can do while studying our teaching and seeking to validate your Role, Casting, Overleaves, Entity, and Essence Twins, etc. is be open to an evolution of your understanding. You may discover that what you believed was inaccurate channeling is actually profoundly accurate to who you realize you are becoming (as you come into your own identity). Or you may discover that your self-determined Overleaves were highly inaccurate in your initial understanding and you now see that you are someone completely different after all. Never feel as if you must conclude who you are. Our system is designed to help you understand who you are, not complicate your self-perception. If you are thoroughly confused, pick a Role, pick your Overleaves, and begin “living with them”. You will begin to see what does and does not hold validity. [BingeBuddie] But would you have to be past the 4th internal monad to judge completely accurately as to what role you are? (not to ask ANOTHER lengthy question) MEntity: It does help to have completed the 4th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole for true self-awareness in terms of Essence, Casting, and True Personality. But then, that is the very crux of having a completion of the 4th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, so it is not a matter of waiting for that rite to pass before seeking valid self-awareness. We are working with Troy in creating two new ways of determining your own basic profiles: a self-test, and a step-by-step process of elimination method. We believe this will help many of our students. We never sought to have any student dependent on our channels, so this is an important evolution to our sharing of the teachings. We believe we have given you at least some “food for thought” until then.

Throughout all of the lifetimes, heartaches, pleasures, fears, and pains, you are never actually alone. There are groups of souls connected to you on very intimate and deep levels. Your Essence develops varying levels of depth with other Essences as you would as a Personality within a lifetime.Though the dynamics of how Essences are all organized and connected can get very detailed and mathematical, we will stick with just a few introductory terms here. The first terms that will become familiar to you are CADRE and ENTITY.ENTITY: a family of approximately 1000 Essences who share a theme of consciousness. Think of an Entity as a busload of souls who come with you to Earth, and everyone on that bus is your Entity Mate.CADRE (pronounced either KAH-druh or KAD-dree): a group of 7 Entities (or 7 "bus loads"). Entities are organized into groups of 7 acting as "extended family", so to speak. Your Entity, along with these 6 other Entities, makes for a large family of souls sharing a very intimate and specific group consciousness. Everyone in a specific Cadre is called your "Cadre Mate".Why are souls organized into these groups? Because groups of souls are interested in certain themes and adventures, and before you ever start your journey from Tao, you find other souls of similar interests. Many of these souls are souls you have "known" a long long time and some are totally "new" to you, but the common thread will be in your specific themes of interest. An Entity will share a more specific theme among all of its members while a Cadre will have each Entity exploring aspects of an even larger theme. More importantly, the reason you choose these "families of consciousness" before you begin your journey is so that no matter where you incarnate in a lifetime, you will always be able to find at least one or two familiar souls with which you can find comfort and growth. There is a larger structure that contains the Cadre and Entity and that is called your ENERGY RING. This is the largest group you should be concerned with at this time. An Energy Ring is a Group of 12 Cadres. Here is how it all connects: 1 Energy Ring = 12 Cadres 1 Cadre = 7 Entities 1 Entity = approximately 1000 EssencesOf course, there are millions and millions of people in the world, so there are also thousands and thousands and thousands of Energy Rings, Cadres, and Entities. You will interact with all kinds of souls and people from all kinds of Cadres and Entities, but most of your important and moving experiences are shared with Entity members and Cadre Members. In addition, you have your own larger Energy Ring to work with! This gives you at least a total of about 84,000 Essences (12 Cadres, 12 X 7000 Essences) to work with over all of your lifetimes and that's if you chose to only work within your own Energy Ring! The Intimate ConnectionsThere are a few Essences that you work with on world projects and some you work with on specific internal growth. To help with these intense and amazing experiences across so many lifetimes, it takes commitment and dedication from another Essence. There are at least two primary Essence relationships that stand out. Any relationship can be profound and intense, but these are the technical terms for those Essences who have chosen to get to know you "inside and out" and to always seek to push you beyond your limitations. They are your ESSENCE TWIN and TASK COMPANIONS.The ESSENCE TWIN is the one Essence guaranteed to be committed to going through EVERYTHING with you, including all the worst and best experiences. This is not the romantic "soul mate" that the "New Age" and romance novels like to promote; instead this Essence relationship can be described simply as "intense". This is because this relationship does not allow for either individual to "hide" from himself, or to avoid the internal issues that block growth. The relationship with your Essence Twin (ET) can be intensely loving or intensely hateful, but there is rarely neutrality between yourself and that Essence, particularly within a physical lifetime where your Personalities are "between you". You each reflect in each other everything you love and hate about yourself. This "mirroring" ignites growth and encourages a self-awareness because you are so profoundly confronted with yourself, your fears, and your desires. Most Essences spend about 60% to 70% of their lives incarnated with their Essence Twin in some way. Otherwise, if only one of you is incarnated, the other might act as a Spirit Guide.Essence Twins are NEVER from the same Entity. The 7th Entity of a Cadre will usually find its Essence Twins in the 7th Entity of another Cadre within their Energy Ring.Essence Twins are the links that reunite a Cadre, and the 7th Entities are what reunite the Energy Ring (12 Cadres).Around 5% of all Essences choose NOT to even have an Essence Twin! See Surrogates and Traveling Companions, below for how this is accommodated.TASK COMPANIONS are Essences committed to working on external, worldly projects and experiences with you. Your Essence always starts your incarnational cycle with at least one Task Companion, but you also acquire as many as five as you continue to incarnate. You acquire more Task Companions because you "meet" and learn that there are others who are excellent work partners for you, too.Task Companions are always from the same Entity. This is because Task Companions are those Fragments we work with as a means to accomplish things in the external world, to manifest ourselves in some specific way on the Physical Plane. If two Fragments share the exact same Casting, and therefore approaching life from a very similar angle, there would be no balance to the approach of accomplishment. Because your Casting Position affects how you live your daily life, it is vitally linked to how you also manifest your accomplishments when working with a Task Companion. Task Companions will always be one Ordinal and one Cardinal in Casting. Having the different Casting is a complementary union, to help cover both the focused aspects of life and the broader aspects of life. The relationships between Task Companions are what reunite an Entity.TRAVELING COMPANIONSTraveling Companions are those Essences who reside in the EXACT same position as your own position within their own Entity! In other words, if you are the 127th Essence within your Entity, then all of the fragments who are in the 127th position within the other 6 Entities are your Traveling Companions. One of those 6 Essences is actually your Essence Twin, and the deep bond among all of you is very similar to the Essence Twin bond. In fact, it can be hard to differentiate a Traveling Companion from the Traveling Companion who is your Essence Twin. Those fragments without an Essence Twin will still have the Traveling Companions, which are quite similar in effect within the lifetime.CADENCE MATESAnd finally, although there are many many connections that Michael will explain, another good one to know is what are called your Cadence Mates. These are the other 6 Essences that are directly, intimately linked to you WITHIN your entity. This is the smallest named grouping within the Michael Teachings. A Cadence of Essences is ALL the same Role. If you think of an Entity as a Bus, then these are the other 6 Essences that are sitting in the same row as you!Though you will learn many more details about these terms as you study the Teachings, these are good ones with which to start. Be careful not to think that the love of your life is your Essence Twin or that your business partner is your Task Companion. It's not that simple, unfortunately, at least not at first. All kinds of strong relationships get created over time and your Essence Twin and Task Companions are just a few of many.

"Soul Age" describes one of the most immediately practical and useful aspects of Michael's body of information. The Soul Ages describe the very basic stages every soul will go through in the process of its evolution. Your Soul Age helps describe where you are in that process. Soul Ages can also help describe the average perspective of groups of people, communities, countries, etc. Understanding the Age of an Essence, or a group of Essences, can greatly increase your ability to be accepting, adaptable, compassionate, and constructive. Ironically, this part of the Teaching can also tend to be the most susceptible to abuse, misuse, and complete distortion among Students. Remember that the Soul Ages are not hierarchical and that one Soul Age is not better or worse than another. Before an Essence commits to a cycle of lives as a Human, it will go through a long process of energetically exploring the Earth and all of its kingdoms of life forms, along with all the other souls who are considering becoming Human. Some souls decide to move on to other planetary systems and some souls never even choose to incarnate. Since you are reading this, your Essence decided long, long ago that this planet and all it has to offer was just the right place for your adventures! The Essence enters its first lifetime! What happens next is an incredible journey of dedication, intensity, and adventure in the school of Earth and playground of life! Each lifetime gains more knowledge for the Essence and the use of that knowledge is continually improved upon when planning the next lifetimes. As the knowledge and experience grow, so does the maturity of the soul, and that maturity is described as a Soul Age. The progress through the Soul Ages is Essence-determined and no other Essence, or God, or Tao, or institution, or ANYTHING monitors your speed or level of growth. Your Essence is the only one who can determine when to move on, and how long to experience a Soul Age! There are 7 Soul Ages to the experiences of living life as a Human being. We will only cover 5 here as they are the most relevant to you in the beginning. There are 2 additional, extraordinary Soul Ages that are experienced after the completion of all of your lifetimes as an individual soul, but we will not cover these in the Basic Teachings. Each Soul Age can take as many lifetimes as the soul wants or needs to take, but there is an average of 49 lives per Soul Age. Infant, Baby, Young, Mature, and Old INFANT Infant Souls are those that are new to being in bodies and new to the planet. They are usually superstitious and fearful, choosing lifetimes set away from the chaos of modern life, or at least living separately from it, even if in the midst of it. The basic lessons of the Infant Soul are Survival. The lifetimes tend to be centered mostly on learning how to feed, clothe, and keep the body alive. Since the forests and other isolated areas of the world are all but gone, Infant Souls have fewer places to choose for being born and being "left alone"; therefore, they appear to be choosing to be born in more "concrete jungles" over the past 50 years or so. Infant Souls contribute to the rise in the homeless population in metropolitan areas as these souls are learning lessons of survival in the "new jungles". Infants can be as accomplished as anyone else, but there is an edge of instability and even insanity in their eyes. Most modern Infant Souls get into very big trouble, mostly through murders and breaking the civil, unspoken "rules" of a society. There are very few Infant Souls coming to this planet anymore since there are very few places left to incarnate without older soul ages interfering. The Infant Souls who are already committed to a cycle of lifetimes will tend to find it difficult to keep older soul ages from either exploiting them, or being compelled to rescue the Infant from its survival struggles. The Infant Soul Motto might be, "There is ME, and everything is just scary and threatening!" As the Infant begins to learn how to survive, it begins to seek experiences in groups, which leads them to the Baby Soul Age. BABY Baby Souls have fairly mastered the experiences of basic Survival and now seek experiences focused on how to behave in groups. Baby Souls gain experiences through supporting an authority, being civil, enforcing order, being clean, law-abiding, structured, etc. The development of most Religions is rooted in Baby Soul values and ideals. What better way to bring order to a large group of people and to encourage respect but through the mythologies of a vague, scary, parental God who can get angry and punish you if you misbehave? There are many forms of religion, of course, but one can see why Baby Souls would be drawn to this context. There is a security in the churches and the rules and laws are handed out by an unquestioned authority. Baby Souls will rarely question, they simply have the decisions handed to them from a trusted authority, which they will defend blindly. They do not ponder their individuality, except in terms of how they fit into the contexts handed down from an authority. All things based on order, structure and justice are Baby Soul concepts, like the library systems, judicial systems, and police forces. Baby's see the world only in terms of "ME, and NOT ME". This means if you are "NOT ME", you are wrong, bad, and possibly "going to hell". They see everything in terms of black and white, good and bad. Baby Soul's seek such order, it only makes sense to them that you behave within their own terms. Their world is strikingly "black and white", but as the soul grows through the Baby stage, it begins to gain an individual identity, which leads to the Young Soul Age. YOUNG Young Souls have learned all they can from being civil and listening to authority. This Age is like the adolescence of Soul Ages. The Young Soul seeks recognition, fame, excitement, stimulation, material rewards, and they are highly competitive. This is where the soul begins to indulge in the physical plane and really get into some trouble and adventures! This Soul Age tends to be the least spiritual, though they will use religious or spiritual groups for networking or help to maintain a position of authority over other people. It can be very difficult for a Young Soul to be spiritually conscious since the focus is so strongly on being as physical as possible. Young Souls are gaining experiences about individuality, self-expression, competition, self-sufficiency, strength, abundance, endurance, and prestige. They see the world in terms of "there are you and me and I am going to win." When an Essence has indulged in the physical plane, experienced all its riches, there will come a point of realization that "there is more to life than this", and that is the step toward the Mature Soul Age. MATURE Mature Souls have learned all they could from having everything they have ever wanted; they've been rich, been recognized, and extracted whatever they thought was important to obtain from the physical plane. Once they have all of that experience, the soul and personality figuratively look around and say, "now what?" It starts to seek experiences focused on emotional connections and spiritual intimacy, wholehearted trust. The Mature Soul finally confronts the internal sense of separation gained during the Young Soul Age and begins to reach out to others in pain. Most Mature Souls find intimacy through the sharing of intensity and emotions, seeking others who can identify with such personal, inner struggle. Mature Souls are the most intense and dramatic about life, which helps encourage the questions of "who am I?" and "Why am I here?" They begin to turn away from organized religion, preferring a more personal spirituality. They begin to recognize the sources of pain and oppression in society and seek to alleviate those influences in any way; therefore, the Mature Soul actively supports some form of "Rights", such as Gay Rights, Animal Rights, fights against Apartheid and Child Abuse, etc. They crave closeness and meaning in their life. This Age is where the soul begins to want to contribute and "count" for something. The Mature Soul sees the world as "there are you and me and I know how you feel." Many of the Students of the Michael Teaching who are drawn to this teaching are somewhere in their Mature Soul cycle. When the Mature Soul has begun to soften its boundaries, has forged some profoundly intimate relationships, and has built a sense of inner security and peace, that soul then begins to feel a gentle, but haunting, pull to find what feels like "home", and they know it isn't "here". OLD Old Souls now have gained the experiences to help them discover where they fit in, who they love, and they have answered some important questions about why they exist and "who" they are. They now begin to question everything on a larger scale. "Where do we all fit into the scheme of things?" "How does reality work?" "What is Love?" "How do I get Home?" The Old Soul feels a strange sense of being "tired", and knows that one of the last profound experiences will be in finally, utterly, accepting and loving this world, the people in it, and everything about it; the experience of truly unconditional Love. More difficult than discovering a Love for the world, is the final, most difficult experience of all,... the Love of You. That experience can be most terrifying because Old Souls have glimpsed the magnitude of the vastness of the Universe across all of their lifetimes and they realize their tiny place in it. The Old Soul begins to sense a need to understand what I like to call "home"; a vague place that is obviously "not here", but truly a place of oneness with the universe and life. They begin feeling a deep recognition of other people that is not limited by the current lifetime. Old Souls can see the entirety of a person, "remembering" other people from other lifetimes. A challenge for the Old Soul is to now draw wisdom from their souls, using the knowledge gained across all of their own lifetimes, and understand how to live and communicate with all other Soul Ages. They begin seeing past the veil that separates the Physical from the Non-Physical, which draws the Old Soul to mystical and profound spiritual experiences. Eventually, the Old Soul learns to experience life with a uniquely balanced sense of awe and familiarity, as it experiences its last lifetimes and seeks reunion with their spiritual family. A SPECIAL NOTE on Older Souls and "status": Some people may think that those who are claiming to be "Old Souls" are delusional, misinformed, and/or saying they are Old Souls just for attention or status. This is ironic because the people who are overly concerned with this subject are unwittingly revealing that they are the ones who actually interpret Soul Age as a status symbol. A truly Old Soul is not going to be preoccupied with status and labels. It has been said that if an Old Soul were told he is a Young Soul, he would ponder the possibility, but if a Young Soul is told he is a Young Soul, his defenses go up because there are obviously "better", "more advanced" Soul Ages. Soul Age is meaningless as a status symbol to those who study this Teaching as a means to gain an understanding of themselves and others. If someone really is claiming to be "old" as a way to seem better than someone else, you probably won't see them around this Teaching very long, anyway. Using Soul Age as a status symbol would only make sense if all of the students saw that term as indicating one soul age being better than another soul age, but the foundation of the Michael Teachings makes it extremely difficult to maintain that kind of superficial comparison. Another important consideration: Some students have a stereotypical interpretation of how an Old Soul "should" behave or not behave, describing how an Old Soul should feel or express himself, etc. The point that these people are missing is that the reality of being an Older Soul is that you have all other Soul Ages under your belt of experiences! This means you do have more flexibility in choosing how to behave, how to express yourself, what tools to draw from, etc. There will be times when an Old Soul appears to be a Young Soul, simply because he can or needs to use that aspect of himself. In the same way that a physically-aged Adult of 40+ years old can get rejuvenated and heal by playing like a child (or with a child) in that child's games, so can an Old Soul play the Young Soul games, if necessary. Being an Old Soul doesn't mean you avoid material security, living hand to mouth, resisting technological advances, and sit around philosophizing while waiting to die. In fact, since the Old Soul has all of those lives under the belt, it draws strength and wisdom from ALL levels and seeks to LIVE more fully! That means that an Old Soul may just WANT to play out a Mature Soul drama, or have a business that succeeds like a Young Soul, or draw from the Baby Soul experiences as a means to have order and respect within a household and family, and sometimes the Old Soul just might get silly and free with the Infant Self through dancing and drinking! The whole POINT of getting to a place where you are an Old Soul is that you have gained the perspective of each previous Soul Age and can use those perspectives as you wish! Musical Chairs I'd like to share an analogy that helps you to keep in perspective that the Soul Ages are NOT better or worse. Imagine you walk into a room with a stage in the center and 5 chairs all set up in a large circle, all facing the stage, and there is a lot of activity on the Stage for you to watch! The first chair in the circle can be likened to the Infant Soul Age. It's the first time in the room, it's the first time you are seeing the stage, so you sit and stare and fidget and observe and get as comfortable as you can. You watch the Play, but you also look around the room and shift in your own chair, nervous, but getting adjusted, and not really knowing what is going on. At some point, you begin to understand that the key is in sitting still, watching the play, and gaining some insight that way. You then move to the next chair. Now you are in a new position in the same room with the same stage with the same play. BUT, not only has your perspective changed but now that you understand where to focus, this makes the play even more interesting! Someone else has now seated themselves in the chair you previously occupied. You do remember what the room and stage looked like from that previous chair, and what players you could see better, and what activity on which you got a better angle, but now you have a new perspective from your second chair! You can see things in the room you didn't notice before, you now see different props, etc., while the person in the first chair (your previous chair) is observing from the angle you originally had. From your position you now have the memory of the previous chair PLUS the experience of this newly seated perspective. The first person is not better or worse, only in that he/she is seeing the room, the stage, and the play, from a different chair! You now move to the third chair, the fourth chair, etc., all the while learning to see the room and stage and play from a new perspective while also retaining the perspective of the previous chairs occupied. It is important to note that all of the Soul Ages you have experienced (all of the chair perspectives that have come to pass) are now within your grasp to remember and draw from! It wouldn't be very appropriate to turn to the first chair while sitting in the third chair and scowl or judge them because they cannot see from your point in the circle. You, yourself, sat in that chair at one time, and though you gained what you gained from that chair, a new person may even notice things you completely missed, so there can always be something to learn from those sitting in positions you previously occupied. ALL Soul Ages can be recognized for what they are: a different point on the same circle. Your point in the circle has as its capacity for understanding and showing compassion for the previous Soul Ages. For instance, a Baby Soul and an Old Soul in an argument will mean that the Old Soul may have to draw from his/her Baby Soul skills to help the situation along. The Baby Soul has not had the experiences of seeing the "room" from the same place as you, but you can remember what the room might be like for the Baby. This does not make the Older soul better than the Baby Soul, any more than an Adult is better than a Child, but one simply has the ability to be more responsible and adaptable, if he chooses. THE WORLD NOW If you look at the world in terms of the average Soul Age, you will see a much more interesting and compassionate picture than if you simply look at the world as a place of chaos, war, struggle, and division. Some populations will have a higher percentage of one Soul Age, which will give a culture or society a different environment and approach to life than another population. There are Young Soul societies, such as the United States, and there are Old Soul societies, as we can find in Holland. Within a Country, you will, of course, find "pockets" or communities of Soul Ages drawn together. The world is now officially and technically predominated by Mature Souls. This can be seen in the breaking down of boundaries and connecting of people all over the world with telephones, televisions, traveling faster, and even with the Internet. It can be seen in the Berlin Wall coming down, the environment being seen to be Global, not just local, it can be seen in the Human Rights Movements, Gay Rights, Animal Rights, Women's Rights, etc. Though the world is officially "Mature", the United States is just coming out of a long Young Soul phase and is slowly introducing the effects of a more Mature Soul mentality. There are still Young Souls in power making decisions that affect us, and even though it will take a while for Mature souls to find power and leadership appealing, they are making their way into these positions slowly.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: November 2002] [clairen] At what point in Gandhiji’s life did the Transcendental Soul manifest? [M_Entity] A Transcendental Soul is born. It does not manifest in the same way that the Infinite Soul does. This is because the fragment that is “in” the body is already a fragment from the Entity being represented. There will, of course, be a regaining of consciousness, but it will not be as lengthy and troubled as a single fragment's. This is why a Transcendental Soul tends to be so effective and magnetic quite early in the life. While the individual is technically a Transcendental Soul, he still exists with a Personality that will have its challenges based on imprinting or ideals. In his case, he had an emphasis on alleviating the effects of Greed, which would mean he had his own personal fears related to this Chief Feature. His Idealism, at times, would lead him into naivety as he would assume that sexual exchanges somehow “stole” from the energy of another, or himself. We remind you that while Transcendental Souls have a “higher” perspective of everything, they are immediately as susceptible to the confusions of being human as they are of the wisdom from the Entity. [clairen] Why did he feel so guilty about sex with his wife? [M_Entity] It will help to understand that sex was the most immediate indulgence available for the Transcendental Soul to use as a tool and example of restraint against Greed. Since this is a common indulgence, it was more symbolic than literal in his experiences.

[Excerpt from TT: 2002-04-04] 7 Spheres of Awareness of Essence NOTE: The word “Levels” was not a very accurate word for what Michael was trying to convey in the chat on this Topic. I found when editing the transcript that Michael suggested SPHERES instead. This gives a far more accurate picture to the development of Awareness in a life. [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the topic to be “7 Spheres of Awareness of Essence.” We will share what we can in regard to this within the time available. As many of you are aware, the Physical Plane is not the only Plane of existence. The Personality only exists within the Physical Plane, along with the Physical Body, while Essence exists to some degree in all Planes “at once.” In any given lifetime, the Personality is capable of gaining awareness of its own Essence in varying circles of awareness. A Soul Age or Essence Role or Overleaves do not limit the Sphere of Awareness, though it can be said that these things contribute to the ease or challenge of gaining awareness. The oldest soul may have a particularly difficult lifetime that inhibits awareness while a younger soul may find a blissful connection to Essence on all levels. It is the choice of Personality as to whether it wishes to have a connection to Essence on a conscious level and to what degree. Essence NEVER imposes itself on its Personality. The Personality is too valuable for that kind of relationship. Essence needs the Personality as an extension of itself to explore and learn from the Physical Plane. Essence cannot exist fully where you are incarnated without a body of some sort. For that reason, Essence allows the Personality to seek Essence as Personality sees fit, though Essence is ever-watchful and loving to each version of Personality within the Physical Plane. Though Essence is not as attached to the Physical Plane as a Personality, Essence still finds great empathy and ever-growing love for each Personality. The Tao, and by extension the Essence, finds it to be a far more loving relationship to have what is created seek the creator, rather than the creator enforcing itself on the life. As Personality and the Body grow within each lifetime, it must “re-remember” all of its Soul Levels and Ages and regain that level of consciousness and perspective all over again. It is stored in the Instinctive Center exactly where you are in your development as Essence, but each new Body must regain consciousness as a means to house the perspective of Essence. Some may or may not reach the previous level of Soul Age. It is perfectly possible to have a Young Soul lifetime wherein the fragment is technically an Old Soul, depending on several factors in Personality. The difference is that each Soul Level has its capacity to gain up to and through all 7 Spheres of Awareness. It could easily be said that these Spheres of Awareness are the Levels WITHIN the Soul Levels. The 7 Internal Monads could be said to be the process of INTERNAL rites of passage toward moving through a Soul Level while the 7 Spheres of Awareness may be said to be the EXTERNAL process of moving through a Soul Level. Both must be completed and experienced within as many lives as it takes before moving to a new Soul Level. The 7 Spheres of Awareness then could be described as follows: Sphere One: This is the simplest Sphere of Awareness. This Sphere is basic to any Sentient Being. This is self-awareness on the most rudimentary and mechanical level. You are aware you are alive; that you must feed yourself; that you must protect yourself; that you must interact with life. Sphere One is the most separated, narrow, and isolated of all Spheres of Awareness. There is no real concept of “spirit” or anything more than what is immediately tangible. This would extend into areas of “love” and other such intangible experiences. The fragment perceiving from within this Sphere merely does what it needs to do to survive and to gain the next experience. This fragment usually experiences life solely from the Negative Poles of the Personality and rejects all forms of intervention for helping raise its awareness. There is an absolute disconnection from all life forms around this fragment. It is hard for them to even understand the “point of living.” Sphere Two: This is the Sphere wherein you get a glimpse of life through the Positive Poles of your Overleaves. You gain a bit of awareness as to what your Essence is like, even if not fully defined. You decide you must have a soul. That much is at least considered to be possible. This Sphere of Awareness begins to expand beyond the limitations of the Body and into the realms of possibilities. Imagination becomes more harnessed for creativity, rather than fear and protection, as in Sphere One, and the fragment begins to consider his dreams along with other concepts that are not tangible, yet acknowledged as experienced. It is a Sphere in which the fragment begins to consider his relationship with himself as more than a machine, but a BEING. Sphere Three: Expanding beyond the Spheres previous to this, Sphere Three allows the fragment to begin to consider the intangibilities between it and others, not just within. The fragment begins to long for and seek deeper intimacy. This Sphere is marked with the awareness that other fragments share a history with you that extends beyond the current life and Personality, even if this is not quite understood. The relationship to Time begins to change and there is less emphasis on it as a constraint, but rather as a convenience. Sphere Four: This is the Sphere of Awareness that brings a fragment to the reality its own Past Selves to-date. The fragment becomes capable of acknowledging wisdom gained from outside the confines of the current life and allows influences from The Past and Future Lives alike. This Sphere finds Personality capable of recognizing patterns in the life and the life of others, enabling the fragment to envision probable futures as they are created or as were planned before the life. The fragment begins to realize that the Personality focused on at any given moment does not diminish the reality of MANY versions of that same Personality across Parallel Universes created by Essence to house all of the choices possible. This is the Sphere that the fragment truly has the capability for channeling, healing, directing energy, and using psychic tools. (We will note here that ALL Spheres are capable of Intuition, which is simply the extension and combination of physical senses. True psychic awareness, though, is not the same thing.) Sphere Four is the first time a fragment discovers a true relationship between the Personality and the life and finds a deep sense of trust and safety as the life unfolds. Sphere Five: This is the Sphere in which you begin to see others as extensions of yourself. It is profoundly realized that the helping of others to resolve their own troubles will also contribute to your own lessons on many levels. This Sphere brings with it the realization and awareness that the Personality is a temporary and a beautiful “child” of Essence. A strange double awareness will be experienced here, wherein the trials and challenges of the life indulged in while maintaining a consistent awareness through the perspective of Essence that “all is well”. Sphere Six: This is the Sphere of Awareness that brings with it the realization that the Universe has an awesome structure that can be understood. A new, consistent relationship to what might be called “spirit” then develops. You begin to recognize the “signatures” of different spiritual families, or Entities, and find the lifetime heavily focused on what might be called “the path.” This “path” will be, of course, defined and created by the individual fragment, but a deep recognition that ALL are on variations of similar paths will be incorporated into the life. This is the first time the Fragment begins to recognize the value of life in other species beyond itself. Energy and life force, as expressed in all its forms, begins to become deeply important to the fragment to be in harmony with. While the Fifth Sphere allows the fragment to see other fragments as extensions of self, the Sixth Sphere will build on this and find this extends to animals outside the realm of that fragment’s own Sentient Species. The fragment profoundly grasps that other beings are capable of relative fear and have relative emotional lives, too. From this Sphere a deep longing for what might be called “home” begins to motivate the life. Sphere Seven: This is the Sphere wherein the fragment finally grasps how to use all of the tools of the Body, the Physical Plane, and the Personality and finds the life unfolding, changing, and being created in profoundly acceptable ways. ALL limitations of the lifetime are found to be acceptable while all of the possibilities are recognized as well. There is no division between Essence and Personality in any way. All Levels of Soul Age gained to that point are used effectively and appropriately. This is the Sphere where it is difficult to find anything ugly about life. A childlike innocence is regained and everything becomes new and fun again, without fear of anything. We include the “fear of fear” in that statement. Sphere Seven allows Fear as a tool appropriately. If fear is experienced, it is recognized as simply part of everything that is wondrous about the life. There are, of course, far more detailed descriptions of each Sphere of Awareness available, but we share this for you within the time frame available here. What we have shared should allow for adequate consideration. We will now take any questions you may have for us on this topic. [val] Can one be aware and functioning on several Spheres at once, i.e., I resonate with Spheres three through seven, I feel as if I’ve been there and living these Spheres, or is your essence setting up these stages to bring them to your awareness so that when you get there it feels like home. [M_Entity] Different Spheres of Awareness may be present within different contexts of your life. For instance, you may have Sphere 3 Awareness when in relationships, while having Sphere 4 in your Career. Your Awareness will fluctuate throughout the lifetime and you will recognize different time frames having different Spheres of Awareness as well. Although you progress through the lifetime to gain Spheres of Awareness, you will move “up and down” through the Spheres as relative to your experiences. Sphere One, for example, will ALWAYS be available in any lifetime. It is the Sphere of the heaviest of Karmic relationships. A fragment may have reached the Sphere Seven of Awareness in a lifetime, but a ribbon of Karma may be chosen to burn and the Awareness will then constrict to Sphere One as it is dealt with. [mdfsage] What is meant by “to find other animals outside the realm of that fragments sentience”? [M_Entity] In your case, the Awareness would begin to include strong resonance and recognition to beings who are NON-human. The recognition may only begin with the recognition of other ensouled beings, such as Cetacean and Gorillas, but eventually, would include those beyond that. [val] How do we regain consciousness, and open this instinctive center to better communicate with essence? [M_Entity] In the interest of using the time available efficiently through this channel, we will say we have answered this question in other chats. These transcripts would be available through Troy or his website. Troy, or other students, will direct you to those detailed responses. There are different ways each Essence Roles may find to open connections to Essence. [Kathryn41] If you advance through a soul age level within a life – say Old 3 to Old 4, do you start again at Sphere 1 of awareness and ‘lose’ the previous awareness, or do you overlap and keep that awareness and start over. How does that work? [M_Entity] These are rare and interesting lifetimes when a fragment transitions within a lifetime without taking on a new body. The Older Soul finds this process to be less confusing, but still have a lot of challenges in this shifting. When a transition of Soul Age or a Soul Level occurs within a lifetime, yes, the Personality will undergo a great change in some way, even if only over a brief period of time. Considering that the Body will not have lost its memory, it is quite possible to regain those Spheres of Awareness within minutes. There is a process that occurs for those who move Soul Levels within a lifetime. We refer to that experience as an Octave Ending/Beginning, and would be another topic in itself. But to simplify the response, since the Body will not have been replaced, the evolution through the Monads and the Awareness Spheres will not have been lost when entering the new Soul Level. [sam-nemo] I thought 6 level was the heaviest level of karmic payback and most psychic, not 1or 4. [M_Entity] You are comparing the 6th Level of a Soul Age to the 6th Sphere of Awareness of Essence. They are completely different contexts. When in the 6th Level of a Soul Age, depending on the Soul Age, the lifetime may be submerged in Sphere One of Awareness or not. We realize English is a bit limited in our choices for describing progressions and evolution. We suggest that similar terms do not mean the same thing, necessarily, when in a different context. For most Older Souls, Sphere Five of Awareness is quite common when experiencing the 6th Level of Soul Age. This allows for the life to be lived consciously while still being free to indulge in the Karma. [sam-nemo] Therefore essence awareness lags soul age. [M_Entity] It may help to think of the Spheres of Awareness as being angles of perception toward an experience. In other words, as Awareness progresses, you move from only Personality experiencing, to Essence AND Personality being present for the experience. We are open to suggestions for more appropriately naming these 7 Spheres. And yes, Awareness Spheres may exceed or “lag” behind Soul Age, but eventually, Awareness on the 7th Sphere must be reached as a means to move to the next Soul Level. [ClaireN] Please expand on the “true relationship between personality and the life” as mentioned in Sphere four. [M_Entity] It is the first time a fragment may consider that life happens FROM them, rather than TO them. It is the first time a fragment may realize that he or she may not only be learning how to choose but also be choosing how to learn.

The name, "Michael," is simply a convenient name we use to refer to what we understand as a specific family of consciousness (an "entity" of over 1000 souls) who has experienced thousands of lifetimes and has completed their experiences in what we call "the physical plane," now teaching from another level of existence known as "the causal plane." Most of us refer to "Michael" in plural, since they refer to themselves in plural, but some people use the term "he" and "him." Since we understand Michael as not being a physical presence, thus having no gender, and since they are experienced as a collection of souls, it is simply more convenient to refer to them as a group. Some even prefer to call them "the Michaels," so there is no right or wrong way to refer to Michael.
