  1. NWM - Feb 21, 2015 - 7 Stages of Goal Channel: Troy Tolley 09:14:40 AM MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We will begin. Today we are asked to delineate the Goals in terms of measuring one's progression toward a state of fulfillment. To understand the nature of the Goal as an Overleaf, one must understand that there is no end to it, no final state, no ultimate state. There are only polarities, which describe a more objective state, and then there is your experience of those polarities, which are more subjective states. If there were an ultimate state, a Goal could only be used a few times across a few lifetimes. Because there are objective states, the nature of the Goal can be mapped and understood, but because there are subjective states, the same Goal for different people in different lifetimes can bring very different results and experiences. The polarities you see described by our system is objective. Any Soul Age and any Role can use that map for understanding the nature of the Goal. So, Acceptance will always have Agape as a positive pole and Ingratiation as a negative pole for all Roles and Soul Ages. But what "Agape" looks like, feels like, and IS for the Young Soul is very different from what it looks like, feels like, and IS for the Old Soul, because of the subjective state. And even among Old Souls, Agape can bring different experiences because of that subjectivity. So what we will describe today is an elaboration on the objective state because all of you can use that for understanding where you are in the fulfillment of your Goal. To fully understand the nature of a Goal, you must think in terms of a wheel within a wheel. Imagine a circle within a circle, or a donut, if you are so inclined. The inner wheel would be the mapping of the negative pole. The outer wheel would be the mapping of the positive pole. The space between the circles, or the dough of the donut, is the Goal, itself, or the neutral state. For some of our versed students, this mapping might make sense in that the Positive Pole will always be inclusive of the Negative, while the Negative will be restricted and exclusive of the Positive. There is no way for either pole not to be connected, but one is "inside" the other. The donut HOLE, if you will, is a kind of negative space, then. If we are inadvertently encouraging snacking, feel free to do so; the visuals will help. Bobby: lol DianeHB: LOL MEntity: Rather than seeing the Goal as a progression of steps that lead to an end, the Goal is more like a gear that either runs smoothly, or does not. It is your key to your motivation for the lifetime. It is how you use the fuel of experiences. The inner wheel/negative pole, then, is more like a gear that rotates and has a positive wedge, negative wedge, and neutral wedge. We know we are mixing metaphors and analogies, but it is rather necessary. There is no point in the life beyond the first 7 years when the Personality is not working on the Goal. But there does tend to be a "beginning," and that beginning tends to be within that inner gear, or negative pole. The positive and negative wedges of that inner gear are extremes. They are not polarities, but extremes in terms of how that negative gear/pole is functioning. The positive wedge is how that extreme shows up in the outer world, and the negative wedge is how that extreme affects the inner world. The neutral here is how one either brings balance to those extremes, or gets stuck in that gear/pole. GeraldineB: I really don't understand your analogy of using wedges -- the wheels are a good visualization, though MEntity: We are using the gear within a gear, and the parts of each gear because the fulfillment and experience of the Goal is not linear, and one's extremes "rotate" in terms of experiences from one extreme to another and into being stuck or balanced. The gears are always moving. We will build upon and replace this clunky visual in a few moments, but this is an important part of the foundation for understanding what we will share later. Beyond the negative gear/pole and its internal/external extremes and balance/locking parts, there is the Goal, itself. The dough of the donut. Or the space between the inner and outer wheels/gears. No matter where one is in terms of emphasis on the gears, the Goal is present, in effect. Whether one is in Ingratiation or Agape, it is still ACCEPTANCE. In other words, no matter how poorly one is fulfilling Acceptance or how well one is Accepting, the work is still being done on Acceptance. The outer circle/gear, also, has its extremes, its three parts/wedges that reflect the extremes in affecting the outer and inner world. And the balance. GeraldineB: ok -- I "got" wedges finally -- like a pie-chart -- sections of the round MEntity: Yes GeraldineB: I was thinking of a different type of wedge :) MEntity: NOW. To simplify and streamline all of the above, we ask you to toss all of those visuals aside. The gears and donut were only to point out the circular dynamic of each part, and how these function in non-linear ways. We may return to those visuals, but below will be a much cleaner way of understanding how the Goal is mapped, keeping in mind that it is NOT NECESSARILY LINEAR. Continue with the visual of concentric circles, or circles within circles, and this is the order in which a Goal can best be understood and mapped for personal assessment, We will list from the inner-most circle to the outer-most circle. 1 - INNER NEGATIVE EXTREME; 2 - BALANCE or LOCK; 3 - OUTER NEGATIVE EXTREME; 4 - GOAL; 5 - INNER POSITIVE EXTREME; 6 - BALANCE/LOCK; 7 - OUTER POSITIVE EXTREME What tends to be the progression through a Goal is Inner Negative/Outer Negative, Lock/Balance, Inner Positive/Outer Positive, Lock/Balance. This progression is only in terms of introduction through the Goal, but not a linear path that ends. In other words, one will tend to "enter" through the Inner Negative, and then move to the Outer Negative, find herself Locked in the Negative Pole, and eventually find Balance that moves her into Inner Positive Extremes, etc. but she may now easily cycle back to an Inner Negative extreme. ViP2: Is there an inner balance/lock (number 2) and an outer balance/lock (number 6), which are separate? Or are 2 and 6 the same state? MEntity: Visaish, they are different. When locked, they are separated. When in balance, they are connected. So, for example, if one finds balance between the negative extremes, she can now "slide" into the balance of the positive extremes. It may be more accurate to describe "balance" as "resolution." When there is a lock in place, the Goal functions like a gear that is stuck. Motivation starts to halt, and the effort required for moving forward tends to exponentially grow. ViP2: OK thanks, that helps MEntity: When there is resolution, or balance, the gears move again. Since we have used Acceptance as an example, we will delineate Acceptance, first. Though we expect further elaboration upon the terms shared, we will cover them quickly here so that they are on record. Elaboration can come over time. Corresponding to the concentric circles mapped above, we will delineate each Goal now. ACCEPTANCE Inner Negative = EMPTINESS LOCK/BALANCE = INGRATIATION Outer Negative = DESPERATION GOAL – Acceptance Inner Positive = BLIND PERMISSION BALANCE/LOCK = AGAPE Outer Positive = AMORPHOUS LOVE Before continuing to the other Goals, we will elaborare upon the circles above so that the later Goals can benefit from the understanding. Inner Negative Extreme is the very prompt that a fragment will use to launch into a lifetime of Acceptance. This is Emptiness. The most extreme negative of Acceptance is prompted by a sense of emptiness, no form, and s drive to create or discover that form. This is on an inner level and may or may not affect anyone else. When it shifts toward a negative outer extreme, it shifts into Desperation. Both Emptiness and Desperation are parts of Ingratiation, which is the idea that love must be found, earned, deserved. While Ingratiation is the Negative Pole of Agape, it can either be LOCKED or used as a means of passage into the Positive Pole. It may be helpful to think of this in terms of LOCKED/UNLOCKED rather than Locked/Resolution, but both will work because in order to unlock, one must ACCEPT this state of Ingratiation. As soon as one owns his state of Ingratiation, he is unlocking/balancing/resolving this state. Because he is now moving into a more inclusive state, a more positive state. However, as one progresses through Acceptance, there will tend to be a swing between the extremes of the Negative and into the extremes of the Positive. So as one moves away from Ingratiation, he will tend to leap into BLIND PERMISSION. Suddenly, his capacity to love means allowing himself to be, do, say, act in any way he feels motivated. Everything is excused, permissible, justified. He loses a sense of accountability because he is now "loving himself." And this is true. It IS a form of Agape. It is a form of Acceptance. But it is an inner extreme. He will then swing to the outer extreme of "loving everyone" as long as he does not really know them. Facelessness is one of the easiest ways to love. Again, it is still a form of Agape, but it is an outer extreme. It does not have to do the work of loving. He can then LOCK himself into Agape as Blind Permission and Amorphous Love, never truly knowing the fullness of Acceptance. Agape is unlocked and the extremes resolved when he can love in detail, as well as on a large scale. For some in Acceptance, Blind Permission can show up as loving only one or two or three people without question or accountability, but with no effort or interest beyond that. Many who are in abusive relationships can be locked in Agape as Blind Permission. QUESTION: are each of you following what we are sharing, and is this making sense to you? DianeHB: I think so ClaireC: Yes. AnnH: yes Bobby: mhmmm Janet: I think so. Maybe if you provide the stages of another goal so we can see if we can work it out. Most here have Growth. MEntity: We will move to Growth, then. GeraldineB: I think once started, we're going to need all 7 Goals for our full student body Janet: Well, and at least Geraldine and I would appreciate Discrimination and Dominance for ourselves today. Janet: Oh and Flow for Diane ViP2: I feel that this is making sense for me so far, yes - I'd like to apply what was explained for Acceptance to the other goals to understand more fully MEntity: Growth Inner Negative = ESCAPE LOCK/BALANCE = CONFUSION Outer Negative = RESISTANCE GOAL - GROWTH Inner Positive = STIMULATION/FRICTION BALANCE/LOCK = EVOLUTION Outer Positive = RECOGNITION Discrimination Inner Negative = LOATHING LOCK/BALANCE = REJECTION Outer Negative = IMPOSITION GOAL - DISCRIMINATION Inner Positive = EXPECTATION BALANCE/LOCK = REFINEMENT Outer Positive = RIGHTEOUSNESS Dominance Inner Negative = CHAOS LOCK/BALANCE = DICTATORSHIP Outer Negative = DISTRUST GOAL - DOMINANCE Inner Positive = WORTH BALANCE/LOCK = LEADERSHIP Outer Positive = ORDER Flow Inner Negative = DIVISION LOCK/BALANCE = INERTIA Outer Negative = DISTANCE GOAL - FLOW Inner Positive = DIRECTION BALANCE/LOCK = FREEDOM Outer Positive = CONTRIBUTION QUEUE OPEN: we can now take questions about these delineations, terms, or anything regarding the topic. Bobby: You said: Inner Negative Extreme is the very prompt that a fragment will use to launch into a lifetime of (fill in the blank Goal). Why is that? What is it that prompts this? MEntity: The Inner Negative of each Goal is an inherent quality in fragmentation. As fragments, there will always be these inner extremes. To activate a Goal for a Personality, Essence sets up prompts in the life that will play on those inner extremes as a means to jump start the Goal, the motivation of exploration and experience for the life. Because birthing is a manifestation of that fragmentation, it is easy to access these inner extremes quite early in the life, and even subconsciously. These wane in intensity as Essence evolves, but the validity of these qualities remain and can be used for every lifetime. AnnH: I am perhaps being too literal here. But for example in Growth... The Outer Extreme is Recognition. Whose recognition and how is it manifested? MEntity: In all inner or outer states, the term can be used to describe how you bring that to others, or how others bring that to you. For example, in RECOGNITION as an Outer Extreme, it can play out as either your receiving feedback that recognizes your evolution, but that your evolution is dependent upon that feedback, or it may show up as your evolution depending upon your recognition of the growth of others. In either way it shows up, it is about recognizing that you have grown, that you have evolved. AnnH: How does Righteousness for Discrimination work with this? MEntity: It is an "extreme" because the sense of evolution can often be locked until this growth is brought to your attention. Righteousness is an outer positive extreme because those in Discrimination learn that they truly are often RIGHT. But their idea of what is right can go to extremes in that they consciously or subconsciously shut out insight, input, and challenge. Their righteousness is upheld as a means of Refinement, but it can be locked if that righteousness is locked as the only standard, however accurate it may be. This can be experienced in the other direction, as well, when the person in Discrimination bumps up against the Righteousness of others. That input of Righteousness can either call into question that person's sense of Right, or prompt an impasse if that person's own Righteousness is upheld without flexibility. Are these making sense? Janet: yes ClaireC: They are to me. AnnH: Yes. AnnH: It helps to see the movement--how it slides around and is NOT linear. Janet: In general I think I recognize the states of Dominance. I just want to clarify one thing: For Acceptance you said that to unlock the negative pole, "one must ACCEPT this state of Ingratiation". Did you use the verb ACCEPT because the goal was Acceptance? For example, does the verb change to DOMINATE for Dominance? (Dominate a state of Dictatorship?) Or does the word ACCEPT apply to all? MEntity: The verb changes. Janet: Somehow that seems right. I can’t explain it, but this makes sense to me — at least in terms of my own goal of Dominance. MEntity: We will elaborate: DOMINANCE is the process of learning to use influence and presence. When you are in Chaos or Distrust, you are in extremes and Dictatorship seems to be the answer, or imposing absolute authority. To unlock oneself from Dictatorship, you must INFLUENCE, not CONTROL. You must DOMINATE your Dictatorship, or bring your presence and influence back into the picture rather than locking yourself away from the chaos and distrust through control or absolutes. In other words, take control over your control. Does this make sense to you? Janet: Oh yes. Absolutely. MEntity: We will conclude with this final question, and complete the delineation of the Goals outside of this exchange. ViP2: hi Michael - can you provide similar elaboration for Growth as you just did for Dominance in response to Janet's question? MEntity: Yes, we can. ViP2: Would you, then? :-) MEntity: GROWTH is the process of learning how to create meaning. When you are in Escape or Resistance, you are in CONFUSION. Or, rather, when you are Resistant or seeking Escape, CONFUSION seems to be the answer or solution. CONFUSION is the rejection of the consequences of choice. As long as you are confused, you cannot be held accountable for your choices. That is the theory, at least, when in the negative pole. Confusion can come when one does not like the choices from which to choose, or when one has generated so many directions of choice, it is terrifying to choose. To unlock oneself from Confusion, it can be helpful to GROW UP. GROWTH is all about creating meaning, but there is responsibility in the creation of meaning, so Growth is also about owning one's responsibility. In other words, your confusion is your own, not that of someone else's. Your confusion is yours to resolve, not to use for hiding until someone else makes your choices for you. So if you think in terms of GROW UP, this helps one to make even the most incremental of moves toward responsibility and this is Evolution. Does this make sense to you? ClaireC: Yes, it does. AnnH: Yes indeed. ViP2: Partly, but it feels like a fine line between growing up "from the inside", and growing up based on external/societal expectations. ViP2: Or not a fine line, but something that would require constant attention to not fall into. The latter wouldn't really be growing up, I think. ViP2: The former being growing up based on what one really wants, not what is expected from the outside. ViP2: Otherwise, it does make sense. MEntity: That may be because of the charged phrasing. We are not stating it as a shaming, but as a way to use the term GROWTH as a verb in helping you move out of Confusion. By "GROW UP" here we mean that YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO CHOOSE. USE IT. EVEN IF THAT CHOICE IS NOT TO CHOOSE. IT IS A CHOICE, AND YOU OWNED IT. AND THAT IS EVOLUTION. Did that help clarify? ViP2: Yes. I feel that I get that and it is inclusive, and not narrow in focus. ViP2: Yes, thank you Michael ClaireC: Excellent definition of Growing up. MEntity: We know Troy expected a linear delineation of the Goals in a way that could help navigate progress, but Goals do not function in such a way. We think our delineation will help each of you to understand the broad variations of how you have progressed in your Goal, cycled through, moved around, and how better to take actions to your liking and benefit so that your motivations runs smoothly. ViP2: Do the other overleaves/role/casting function in a similarly nonlinear way (for future questions?) MEntity: Each functions differently, and each is worth exploring in their delineation. Good day to each of you. We will conclude here, for today. 12:26:47 PM [Edit: added by Troy - Submission and Re-Evalutation] Submission Inner Negative = INVISIBILITY LOCK/BALANCE = SUBSERVIENCE Outer Negative = OBSESSION GOAL - SUBMISSION Inner Positive = FAITH BALANCE/LOCK = DEVOTION Outer Positive = INVESTMENT Re-evaluation Inner Negative = LONELINESS LOCK/BALANCE = WITHDRAWAL Outer Negative = REPELLING GOAL - RE-EVALUATION Inner Positive = SEDENTARY BALANCE/LOCK = SIMPLICITY Outer Positive = SENSITIVITY
  2. May 21, 2001 Troy Tolley, Channel Open Floor THANKS TO MaryBV for Moderating and Transcribing! [Michael_Entity] We are here. One moment. Hello to all of you. The format tonight appears to be set in the “open floor” context, so we will simply open the floor and begin taking your questions as they come. You may begin. We do not have any comments to begin with. [MaryBV] I would like to know if there are any combination of Overleaves that cause people to be tardy for things, i.e., those perpetually late people. [Michael_Entity] Though there can be many factors involved, it is usually the effects of the “exalted” Overleaves that creates a lack of linear perception of Time. Ordinality is usually “closer” to comprehending Time and its implications, since Ordinality is more focused. This is not completely consistent, but it is a factor to consider. The primary Overleaf determining the experience and utilization of Time is the ATTITUDE. Exalted Attitudes can become quite “lost” in the restricted frameworks. Many who have an Exalted Attitude with a self-karmic situation to contend with concerning Time will create a challenge through the Chief Features of Martyrdom and Impatience. This will create the wonderfully-charged issues around Time and Space for them. We would think many would assume that the more exalted Roles might have “trouble” with Time, or that the more Inputs an Essence has, the more trouble they might have, but this is not consistent and is surprisingly more of the opposite. Those with One Input (Warriors, Kings, and Scholars) will have more trouble with Time than other Roles. Priest and Servers will be next, and Sages and Artisans having the least. Again, this is not a rule, but a reference. We have observed that those with one input are more likely to have trouble “multitasking” or “shifting gears” as they create routines and schedules to accommodate life. Those with more Inputs can gauge Time while they function on other levels. What we have mentioned in our response are just suggestions, not answers. Observe these for validation, if you choose. It is a place to start. [Nick] Is there a method that can be used to become more creative? [Michael_Entity] There is never a time when you are not being Creative. What most are asking when they ask such a question is, “how can I feel more alive?” Determining the context in which you are trying to specifically channel your creativity is a first step. This can be done by noticing what it IS that makes you “feel alive.” Therein lies the clues to what you may have “inside you” longing to take form. We believe understanding your Role in Essence is a good place to start. Each Role has a basic NEED to create and a default Creation. PRIESTS and Servers NEED to create Inspiration, with the Priest defaulting to Guidance in the Positive and Steering in the Negative; Servers with Nurturing in the Positive and Manipulation in the Negative. Sages and Artisans NEED to create Expression, with Sages defaulting to Fun in the positive and Turbulence in the Negative; Artisans to create Structure in the Positive Pole and in the Negative, Stricture. Kings [and Warriors] NEED to create ACTION, with Kings defaulting to creating Progression in the Positive Pole and Enforcement in the Negative; Warriors creating Cohesion in the Positive, while creating Protection in the Negative. Scholars NEED to create ASSIMILATION, with Transformation in the Positive and Consumption in the Negative. There are many words to choose from to capture the spectrum from positive to negative in terms of anything, but these words are accurate to their point. Knowing your Role will give you, at least, a context to get started in permitting yourself to FEEL the creativity that is “natural” to you. As with many questions asked in an “open floor” forum, we will only be able to touch partially on the vastness of what is possible to explore. [ShannonB] I'm asking this for a friend, so I hope I get the gist of it right. Up to what point do roles remain significant or cohesive? Do Cadres have roles, or do the fragments in them retain their roles? [Michael_Entity] Although the Roles will remain a part of Essence throughout an entire Cycle, Essence Roles remain meaningful only as long as there are attachments to the individual Personalities in differentiation. To help explain: Essence as ROLE is the functioning aspect of “you” that is geared toward experiencing division/resistance, while CASTING is geared toward experiencing union/surrender. Essence as ROLE will “think” of all of its incarnations in the way a mother may think of her children. This sense of regard for all of the Personalities experienced lasts through the Causal to some degree. Up to and through the Causal, ROLE will be a reference, though less and less. Upon graduating the Causal, (and even while experiencing the Causal Plane) Casting becomes your primary reference. Once an Entity is entering the Causal, the experiencing of all of the Personalities shifts to a far more united mind, so to speak. Once the Entity begins “thinking as one,” (again, so to speak) only your position within the Entity is then referenced. Entities do not have Roles, though a predominance of Roles does give each Entity a “flavor.” Your ROLE is what you came to incarnations to make “shine” and “manifest,” while Casting is what you simply ARE. To put it another way, you will find that you PLAY your Role, and LIVE your Casting. [JNelson] Michael has mentioned that it is one of their agendas to redefine the current context of the educational system. Would Michael care to elaborate? [Michael_Entity] It is not a primary agenda as we have come across in some of our channeling and channels, but it is an impact we have chosen as our context in most of our incarnations in other parallels as a Transcendental Soul, so this “spills” into our parallels as a nonphysical teacher as well. We believe the incorporation of comprehending the various learning natures of each Essence could do greatly in healing much of the intellectual divisions on your planet. Currently the schooling system is geared toward the methods of Scholars, Warriors and Kings, though the Personality Overleaves may concur or not. Artisans, Sages, Priests, and Servers have no means to learn in a way that is conducive to them. Because of their fluidity, they can manage, but there is a toll. We believe it not to be GOOD WORK to identify children as Roles and start them along an education geared toward that Role, but rather allow the children to gravitate toward and define their Role as they discover it, making all forms of education available in some form at least through the age of 7. It will be obvious early on as to what direction a child may gravitate. Currently, all education before the age of 7 is geared toward the four Roles that are then “left out” as “formal” education begins. We would be willing to outline our entire concept of this in a session focusing on this topic, but this is a glimpse at our basic premise. [Dewliet] Hi Michael – Since I’m due with my second child in July, I was wondering if you could give me some tips on pain management and/or other aspects of childbirth, including techniques and medication that might not be covered in traditional texts? [Michael_Entity] Most of these techniques and medications or meditations for that matter, have been covered. There have been many births on your planet. Ourselves, having given birth hundreds of thousands of times, found that chewing on licorice root relieved a great deal of stress during labor, while the pain was found to be surprisingly easily forgotten. You have medications now that we did not have, and while we do not wish to affect your choice, we do believe enduring the “natural” pain is worth the health of the child. Many children have been given birth while the mother is under heavy medication and the results are not conclusive or consistent, so this would be your choice to use them or not. In your case, we see your knowledge that it is a passing pain, however lightly experienced or difficulty endured, will help. There will be a “knowing” in you that will be calming. This is not a prediction, but rather a comment on your nature. If you look at most of your most painful and difficult changes in your life, most mothers can see a parallel in their birthing. In your case, regardless of what appears, you have a calming knowing that it will pass and you are safe. [Annette] I know that there are special cameras that photograph the aura, and I have witnessed and photographed pictures with shapes, shadows/clouds, and orbs in them 11 days after my father passed away. Are these guides or spirit entities and can you comment on why we are able to see them like this? Are they making attempt to communicate? [Michael_Entity] The Kirlian Photography is a special technique, while flash photography is simply flash photography. Kirlian Photography allows you to see the bioenergetic (etheric) fields of your body in much the same way that iodine allows certain photography to see into the body. In the case of Kirlian Photography, there is a high frequency, electrical charge run through the object to help amplify its energetic emissions. Any camera that is used to photograph the “aura” that does not include the electricity running through the object is simply an EMULATION or simulation and is invalid. They are the equivalence of a kaleidoscope, to some degree. In Flash Photography, there is validity to much of what is seen as a paranormal phenomenon. Much of what are seen as “orbs” are actually microscopic dust particles in that moment, amplified by the flash. When the images are valid, they are not necessarily consciousness trying to communicate, but rather energetic emissions in the environment. When mourning is involved, the emissions can be great. Much of what are valid orbs, in the case of mourning, are merely the releasing of energetic “pockets,” if you will, that allow the fragment passing to “gather themselves.” Letting go of someone is most literal in mourning, even if the fragment being “let go” is still incarnating. Though some patterns are a form of consciousness, most are not, at least in terms of guides and spirits. If a “guide” or “spirit” is able to be photographed, then it is not of Essence, but of Personality as it is attached to the object of interest. That would mean they are not actually guides or spirits, but more like “echoes” of living aspect of themselves. [Annette] How do you know the difference then? [Michael_Entity] Again, another topic that we will not be able to exhaust in this forum. In being able to tell the difference, if there is a consciousness involved in those terms, dreams are more likely their medium of exchange. We dare say that Spirits and Guides (as we know the term) do not hover mid-physical making pretty lights. [JNelson] Would Michael care to outline the ways in which various Roles in Essence learn? [Michael_Entity] In another chat or as a topic on your list, as the time constraints on this session will not permit. We will add, before leaving, that looking at the Needs of Creation we outlined in the beginning will help in seeing the different learning methods. We will conclude here. Goodnight.
  3. September 12, 2010 Troy Tolley, Channel Internal Monads [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We can begin now. We have been asked to speak about the processes we have named “The 7 Internal Monads.” We can define “Monad” in many ways, but here we will describe it as “the natural process toward wholeness,” or “the structure provided for two parts of a whole to eventually manifest even greater than the sum of those parts.” A Monad will always have two parts that are vital to the whole, but are eventually resolved, or comprehended, so that those two parts ARE the whole, and not divided. There are Internal and External Monads: the External Monads are variations on relationships between fragments; whereas Internal Monads are variations on relationships with the self, or within the self. These Monads are ALWAYS about “manifesting,” or generating a material counterpart as representation for that structure, process, and eventual wholeness. The External Monads are obvious in that they deal with the space and time between two incarnated fragments, but the Internal Monads are not often understood as having physical/manifested counterparts or representations, because they are often more abstract. However, these Internal Monads’ physical/manifested counterparts are THE LIFE, ITSELF. As we describe each Monad, this may become more clarified and obvious. The 7 Internal Monads are processed and manifested by the Personalities across lifetimes, and these processes and manifestations then contribute to the higher processes of the Essence that must complete a set of 7 Internal Monads for each Level of each Soul Age. In every lifetime, the Personality starts “from scratch” in initiating and taking on these Internal Monads, but the Essence retains the benefit of each Personality’s effort and does not have to start from scratch. Therefore, in any given lifetime, the Essence may be at the 4th Internal Monad, while the current Personality is in the 3rd Internal Monad, for instance. If that same Personality progresses to successfully process the 5th Internal Monad, then it progresses the Essence closer to completion of that particular Soul Level. If it helps one to differentiate between the Essence process of these, and the Personality process, it could be said that the Essence integrates Internal Monads, and the Personality contributes to that by processing as many of the 7 “Rites of Passages” as possible within a lifetime. “Internal Monads” and “Rites of Passages” are rather interchangeable here, but to make it easier to understand, this differentiation may help. It is rare that any Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads, or Rites of Passages within one lifetime. Even if a Personality lives to 80 years old, he or she may still have not completed any Rite of Passage beyond the 2nd, or 3rd, for instance. Using a very simple analogy: Imagine that the successful completion of a Rite of Passage is akin to a Personality filling a basket for Essence. Let us use Oranges as that which must fill the baskets. Personality One within a Soul Age Level will begin the process by fulfilling the First Rite of Passage in being successfully born. This fills the first basket of oranges for Essence. Personality One is also able to process Rite of Passages Two and Three, filling two more baskets with Oranges collected. Personality One takes on the beginning of the Fourth Rite of Passage and begins putting Oranges in the basket for Essence, but never really gets past this Rite of Passage, even though she lives to 90. She will remain locked in a mindset, behavior dynamic, and local perspective that is akin to having never evolved beyond a 30-something year old, despite her physical age. Personality One dies, and Essence now moves that row of baskets out of the way, sets up a new row of baskets for Personality Two, and Personality Two now begins his or her process of gathering Oranges for those baskets. Even though the new Personality must start from scratch in filling the baskets, it is easier now that there is precedence and experience that the new Personality would have access to, if open to Essence. In short, there must be AT LEAST one Personality/incarnation that can fill all the baskets successfully within one lifetime as a means to move Essence on to the next Level of Soul Age. In some rare instances when an Essence moves from one Soul Age Level into the next Level within the same lifetime, then that Personality not only filled the baskets enough to allow for Essence to move to the next Level, but now that there is a new Level, the Personality actually starts again from scratch in filling the baskets relevant to that new Level. This is similar to living “two lifetimes in one.” We say that it is similar, but it is not literal, though often it actually does appear to be a distinct line that defines that transition and then the lifetime seems to be divided into two very different lives. When this happens, the Personality will go through a kind of psycho-emotional “death” as its completion of 7 Internal Monads, and then a kind of psycho-emotional “birth” as it begins the next Level. There are 7 Rites of Passages/Internal Monads, and we will briefly describe each now. Each Internal Monad has 7 Stages within it. Each Stage has a Positive and Negative Pole. Every process through an Internal Monad will mean entering the Negative Pole, then exiting from the Positive Pole for each Stage. This means that a “successful” Internal Monad would be completing the 7th Stage in the Positive Pole, leaving the entire Monad in the Positive Pole. In keeping with the baskets of oranges analogy, a Negative Pole would simply be an unfilled basket. The 7 Internal Monads are: Birth, Autonomy, Independence, Manifestation, Recreation, Comprehension, and Death. These may be called by different names through our various channels, but the basic information should remain consistent. Although each Rite of Passage is associated with various time frames represented by the ages of the Body, they are not specifically tied to those time frames. Different cultures and different societies and different Body Types will affect how the process of these Passages go. For certain cultures where life spans are only 20 years, vs other cultures where a lifespan may be 100 years, one can see how the Monads may play out differently. Those cultures and societies where life is more condensed tend to attract those who are working through Infant, Baby, and Young Levels, whereas Late Young, Mature and Older Souls tend toward cultures, societies, and bodies that emphasize length of life. We include in these differentiations the reference to “society” because social constructs, even within the same culture, may emphasize life at different paces, and thus have different time frames relative to the Passages. That being said, in general: Birth is obviously at Birth, where Autonomy is usually relative to the individual taking his or her first steps, and Independence is relative to an individual separating his or her identity and primary resources from the influences of his or her caretakers (parents); Manifestation is relative to an individual returning to a sense of innocence and personal meaning about the self and life; Recreation is relative to an individual freeing himself or herself from the momentum of “purpose” and shifts into an emphasis on “enjoying life,” or re-creating it; Comprehension is relative to the onset of whatever will end the life, and the individual’s ability to come to terms with his or her mortality; and Death, of course, is exiting the Physical Plane. Many of our students presume that Birth and Death are Internal Monads that are a given, but that is not accurate. The successful completion of Birth is indicated by “staying alive.” For the most part, this is marked by good health. If a body dies before the age of 3, it did not successfully complete the Birth Monad. The successful completion of Death is indicated by the impact one’s death has on those who remain physical. If those who remain are left devastated, deeply attached, and profoundly tied to the physical version of oneself, then one has not successfully “died.” The death, itself, is only the beginning, and the stages involved are done post-death, by working with those still incarnated in processing their grief. Completing all 7 Rites of Passage within a single lifetime takes practice, effort, and commitment to an extent that is often not available or an inclination of every Personality, so an Essence will remain within a single Level of Soul Age as long as it takes. Within a lifetime where the Personality does not complete an early Rite of Passage, such as, say, the 3rd Internal Monad of Independence, it means that this person has left that Internal Monad paused in the Negative Pole, and every Internal Monad attempted beyond that will be locked in the Negative Pole, as well. Using the baskets of oranges as an analogy, it would mean that no matter how hard that Personality tries to fill baskets 4, 5, and 6, they will only be able to fill them to the extent that basket 3 is filled. In cases such as this, which are not uncommon, it is possible to “go back” and fill the unfilled basket, or to complete the 3rd Internal Monad, freeing up the capacity to complete the next. This would mean, even if the Personality is in her 50s, that she can work through her issues related to Independence, self-reliance, and her relationships with Authority, as a means to then work on her 4th Internal Monad, and so on. In short, it is a valid and relevant statement that “it is never too late to have a happy childhood,” as an example for completing incomplete Passages. We wish to point out here that while our teaching can be understood and made useful at any age, it is not until the successful completion of the 4th Internal Monad that the full extent of its application can be comprehended. This is why you see so few fellow students among you, or even that you see so few interested in our teaching, in general; it is simply not very interesting or truly applicable to those who “do not know themselves.” This is not a judgment, but a matter of fact. For this teaching to have its full effect, one must be awake, and most who have not completed the 4th Internal Monad are still in some degree, if not completely, asleep. By “asleep” and “awake,” we simply mean the spectrum between self-absorption and self-awareness. Self-absorption, or being asleep, is marked by a preoccupation with the self, such as through defensiveness, self-indulgence, presentation, brooding, consuming, etc. And self-awareness, or being awake, is marked by, for example, valued sensitivity, right intuition, concentric compassion, enthusiastic curiosity, a kind presence, patient resonance to others, and no defenses or shields. Those are examples, but there are others, of course. We have covered Birth and Death in terms of successful or unsuccessful completion, and we will now quickly describe the other 5 Internal Monads in terms of the same. The 2nd Rite of Passage, which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility. The 3rd Rite of Passage, which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself. The 4th Internal Monad, or Rite of Passage, which is Manifestation, is initiated by one’s mid-life assessment as a means to determine the meaning of the life lived so far, and then calibrating the life to an updated course or path so that Essence may manifest. Part of that process and assessment means looking into the past as far back as childhood, and in that looking, finding all of the things that you determined have defined you, made you happy, that have fulfilled you as a child or teen, and then nurturing that same innocence in your life as an adult. A successful completion means truly liking who you are, and embracing the playfulness of your life as you move deeper into it as an embodiment of your Essence, or core Being. An incompleted 4th Internal Monad is often marked by an attempt to replicate the life that was once seen as so innocent, locking the person into a state that desperately seeks meaning, importance, and purpose. The 5th Internal Monad of Recreation is marked by a realization of relief from the need for purpose, meaning, and importance, but finds the emphasis being upon those little things that make the life worth living (on your terms). The life is literally “re-created” in a way that is a new paradigm, free from the burdens of navigation and direction, but entirely embracing of wandering, coasting, and “enjoying the view,” so to speak. The successful completion would often show up as a new enthusiasm for a layer of life that was once cluttered and clouded by over-eagerness and over-anticipation. There is a softness to the life in a way that was never experienced before, and a true joy in many things that would otherwise be dismissed. An incompleted 5th Rite of Passage might show up as bitterness, regret, anger, resentment, and disgust, sometimes concluding that life has no meaning or point, and therefore condemning anyone or anything to pointlessness and meaninglessness. And finally, the 6th Rite of Passage, Comprehension, is marked by the onset of that which will be the cause of death. This is the only Rite of Passage that can most-often be processed in a matter of seconds. A successful completion would show up as a surrender to the reality of mortality, and a full review of the life in a way that brings comprehension to the fact that one has lived and one is now dying. This can happen in a car crash, or in a long-term illness, etc. Time takes on a completely new dimension in this Passage. The incomplete Internal Monad here would show up as anything representing a rejection of mortality, ranging between resignation, apathy, to delusion, dementia, and denial. In instances such as a car crash, the individual may actually “re-live” the entire life in new ways that account for corrections of betrayals, missed opportunities, etc. before actually exiting. That experience can be a means of review, or as a means of denial. We will conclude here, then, in speaking about the 7 Internal Monads, and open the floor to the first 5 questions, due to time constraints. ****QUEUE IS OPEN**** We will respond to further questions after this transcript is posted in your “TLE FORUMS.” [Geraldine] Michael. I still don’t understand how the “two lifetimes in one” works. If a Personality has to go through all 6 IMs in the same incarnation in order to reach the 7th — How does one get all six of those “oranges” in the basket by age 40 in order to do an early 7th? (such as AnnH). Or my son-in-law Brian Fisher who went through this by age 30. Especially since neither one would have been considered “all in positive poles” at those ages. How would one work with “those still incarnated in processing their grief,” if there is no grief? Would one’s concurrents processing IMs help since we all started our incarnations at the same Soul Level? [MEntity] We did not elaborate fully into the “two lifetimes in one”, or the transiting of Soul Levels within a lifetime, because we had elaborated on this in other transcripts. However, we will try to clarify again here. If an Essence has 5 or more baskets full, so to speak, upon creating a new Personality, then that Personality is only tasked with the potential to fill those remaining baskets. However, to get to those baskets 5, 6, and 7, for example, the body and Personality must still fill baskets 1 through 4 in its own way in order to even get to the 5th basket. After baskets 1-4 have been filled multiple times by multiple Personalities over multiple lifetimes, then each subsequent lifetime/Personality has a potentially easier time fulfilling those same baskets. Although there are physical counterparts to each Monad, which is often associated with age time frames, we have also pointed out that they are not tied to those age time frames. Beyond the factors of culture and society as influences, we can also say that one’s PSYCHOLOGICAL process is just as physical a counterpart as one’s physical aging. Therefore, when one is transiting a Level within a lifetime, that Personality can quickly (by age standards) be Born, Walk, Gain Independence, Manifest Essence, and then begin the Recreation process, all by the end of one’s teen age years. This is because while there are certain physical cues that are tied to the Passages, there are also Psychological cues, and these are just as, if not more, vital than the more obvious Physical cues. This means that rather than having a physical retirement/recreation due to age, it happens due to psyche, and rather than physically dying due to accident, illness, or suicide, there is a psychological “death” that then moves through a “birthing” process. Those who transit a Level within a lifetime are now throwing off the usual cues that one can more obviously see in terms of one “growing up,” so these Personalities can often seem more complicated, difficult, and lacking significant maturing processes that another person might show. They do not necessarily appear to be any wiser or more together than any other, and more often, actually, appear not to be particularly wise, and often quite scattered. This is because the psyche is not only developing at a different pace from the body, but by the time the body is older, then the psyche is reborn again in a way that is quite disorienting. This complex process is why this kind of transition is rare, except in Older Souls. Once the fragment in transition has filled the 7 baskets, then the life is marked with a new set of baskets to begin filling, which are rarely ever filled beyond the 4th basket in those kinds of lifetimes. [Maureen] What “happens” in between IMs – for example: Having successfully completed the 4th IM – one could whiz into the 5th or take a decade – If it takes a decade is it like being on a plateau or is it a mix between the 2 IMs ?? [MEntity] While one is “in” a Passage, there is a definite sense that there is living to do. When one is “between” Passages, there is a definite sense that there is work to do. We are using the term “living” here to describe the experience of submersion into the life that often feels like being underwater, then coming up for air, over and over. We use the term “work” here to describe the experience of finally being on land and moving your way over territories of relevance and meaning. For instance, during the 3rd Internal Monad, there may be waves of great angst, rebellion, and constant inner turmoil, mixed with homesickness, deep gratitude, and a sense of self emerging as one breaks away from the influences of parents. Upon completion of that Monad, then the business of income, maintaining an apartment, paying bills, etc., then comes into focus. It might be more appealing to describe the differences between being In and Between Monads as “living” and “learning,” as what was lived through the Passage is now put into practice before the next Passage. [Oscar] Hello Michael ? Could you please elaborate a little about how exactly Body Type can affect the process? [MEntity] Active Body Types, such as Saturnine, Mercurial, Martial, and Solar tend to process Internal Monads “faster” than the Passive Body Types of Lunar, Jovial, and Venusian. The Active/Positive Body Types of Saturn and Solar being the “fastest” while the Passive/Negative of Lunar being the “slowest.” We speak of these in terms of “pure” Body Types, so it is wise to keep in mind that there are no “pure” Body Types, all having a mix of other energies, and influences. The reason for their “speed” of processing a Passage is relative to the Primary Glandular System that regulates experiences for that Body. For instance, the Anterior Pituitary and the Thymus tend to help the body process experiences far more “quickly” than that of the Pancreatic system. This is because the Anterior Pituitary, for instance, is a stimulus for all other glandular systems, and the Thymus regulates the overall health/immunity of all systems, so their being the primary influence is powerful in these Passages. Whereas the Pancreas is insular in its processes, even though they do ultimately affect the entire system. It is that insularity of the process of consumption and production of fuel that contributes to the slower processing of experiences for the body. [Karine] How can you “predict” when someone will enter a monad? For example, you told me that you think I will begin my 4th internal monad near the end of 2012. Do Essences plan in advance during the course of a life when a personality will enter the next monad? [MEntity] We can only see the same things that you can see in terms of Passages, though we may be able to see it more clearly. So when we can see a time frame for completion of a Monad, using the analogy of the baskets, we are basing this on how full the basket is, and the pace at which you have been filling it. We can then extrapolate from there. The same could be said for those that are slated to begin. We can look at the previous Passage and the factors that went into entering it, filling the basket, and exiting it, and how much time was spent between other Passages, proportionally speaking. That being said, yes, Essence will anticipate a time frame that “looks good” for entering a Passage, and we can see those notes, if they are there. In the end, whether we use calculations, or the notes in your records from Essence, it will always be the Personality that decides whether and when to enter into a Passage. So we may be very far off in our information in the end. [Bobby] In your presentation of the 7th IM, there seems to be far more to it than I realized. For instance, I didn’t realize that to transit it in the positive pole, if those left behind grieved terribly over your passing it could keep you from completing it in the positive. I had an aunt who lost a son and never seemed to get over it. Would that be an appropriate example of him finishing his 7th IM in the negative pole? Joey Williams was his name by the way, if that helps. [MEntity] It is not so much in the depth of the grieving, but in the length of time in grieving, and yes, to the extent that one has not helped to prepare loved ones and friends for one’s death, and to the extent that one lacks the ability to comfort those “left behind,” then the 7th Internal Monad is not completed. There will always be at least one lifetime/Personality who dies within a Level in a way that those who remain physical will fully grasp that that Personality had a full life, and that death was embraced without surprise or regret or terror. Because death is so difficult for even the oldest of souls to experience, it takes only one lifetime for this to happen as a means for the Level to be transitioned. And if one ponders the 7 Passages for a moment, it may become more obvious that one who has moved through each in a Positive Pole, may have generated a life and network of relationships that more easily comes to terms with that death. That is not to say that even the most successful of 7th Internal Monads would leave no one grieving. Grief is natural and important, and is a process of accepting a profound truth that replaces a previous truth. In the case of the fragment you mentioned as an example, we think that fragment is still working on completing that Monad, and remains in the process of support for the one who is grieving. Some fragments choose to remain in that process “as long as it takes.” We will conclude here. Good evening to each of you.
  4. This was originally posted on 6/17/08. Thanks to the hard work of CHERYL for making this possible so quickly! Based on the combined videos of my recorder and Cheryl's phone, we were able to transcribe the session as best we could for your reference and archiving. A document version is attached to this post for your convenience, as well. I have taken the liberty to add or change a very few parts of the session that just did not flow well or make much sense. The spoken word is so different from the written word, so I apologize for the meandering way I channel vocally. I tried to clean it up a bit here. I also forgot to bring up after the session that I KNEW something was mis-channeled; that something had come through that was misinformation, or a mistake, but not until I saw the video did I realize what it was. I've corrected it in this transcript, but it was when Michael was giving examples relating the Goals to the Alive Factors and they related Server/Change to Submission... it should have been Re-evaluation. Nothing huge, but it was still some bad channeling I wanted to correct. I am posting the fairly raw transcript here before posting publicly because I just wanted you to have it asap. I will post it publicly later this week. Enjoy! MICHAEL SPEAKS Mid-Atlantic Region Gathering June 14th, 2008 VIDEO/AUDIO TRANSCRIPT Courtesy of OceanCheryl MICHAEL: We are here, and hello to each of you. Please bear with us as we come through because it takes a little bit of time for us to get a smooth flow going through Troy, but it should be cleared up as we progress. So again, hello to all of you. We understand from Troy that the question posed to us, or the topic posed to us, is that of differentiating between "living your life," and "being Alive." And as with a great many words in our system, in our philosophy, there are nuances that are worth exploring, and this would be one of them: the difference between "living your life" and "being alive." And as with several parts of our teaching, we can put it into a system that can be used by you as a reference so that what we share with you today is within reach of your daily living. And as with a great amount of our teaching, it may or may not seem unfamiliar to you. For most of you it will feel rather familiar, as we put it into a system of seven frames of reference. So first we will define what we would have as the definitions for "living your life" and "being alive." We could say that "living your life" is simply maneuvering through your days in reaction to stimulation. When you are simply living your life, and we are saying this not in a way that is to describe it as "less than" or unappealing, or bad; it is simply a different way of living, and it is a very common way of living, but when you are simply living your life, you are living in states of reaction, for the most part, through being stimulated by events, people, or things. Your choices become less empowering, and more towards the side that we described as reaction, more passive. You react to things that happen in your life and you build upon this. What can happen as you live your life is that you build a foundation based on these things, and then it is very difficult to get out of those patterns. So what we will describe to you as ways "to be Alive" are very simple redirections in your day--to--day living, so that maybe you can make a change that you would prefer. Because while it is quite fine to live your life based in reactions and stimulation, it can get tiring. It can be difficult. And if you don't prefer those, there are other options for you to choose. To "be Alive," then, may be obvious to you in that your day-to-day living would just be a matter of conscious choosing. What you do with your day is your choice. How you respond to the events, and people and things in your life is a matter of response, not reaction. You are present in those experiences, and so you are "Alive." You are experiencing; you are not avoiding. If you are afraid, you embrace that fear as a form of information, and you do not let it dictate your choices for you. So a very simple way of defining "being Alive" is simply being able to consciously make your choices in a direction that you would prefer. Now what we'll do is describe some areas that we feel need to be in place to understand the difference between living and being alive. And the first place we'll start is with the concept of Change. In order for you to feel Alive, to be Alive, change is an important part of existence. It is an important part of being on the physical plane, or on any plane for that matter. Things change. To be alive is to be open to this change, to allow the change, to make an effort to do things differently than what you have been doing, if things are not working. So in order to be alive, to feel alive, allowing for making the effort for change can go a long way, a lot farther than you might have anticipated. When change happens TO you in a way that seems like it is an imposition, you still have the ability in those moments to make conscious choices in those matters, to respond to the change rather than to react to it. But what most of the students that we know do in order to feel alive, which in reality is simply living, is do the counterpart of Change, which is Crisis. In order to feel alive, many of you create, find, attract crisis situations into your life on a regular basis, and this keeps you feeling alive. Whether you like that idea or not, it is an exciting prospect for Essence to have the sense of being alive, whether it is in that form or in the other form, whether it's in crisis, or in active change, or conscious change. But many of you default to allowing life to change only during moments of crisis. As we said at the beginning, there is nothing wrong or bad in that, but it does help you to look at the spectrum of your days in your life to see whether you're living from a matter of default, where crisis is what propels you forward in your life, or whether you are at least countering that with active efforts to make change and conscious choices as a form of direction. As we go through these, if you feel you would like to make a comment or ask a question, feel free to do so. The next area that we feel brings an aliveness to you, to your life, is Beauty. And by this, we mean the ability to look at your life and see the bigger picture, to be able to look at your patterns of existence and find the beauty in them, to be able to understand where you are in relation to your past, and your anticipations of the future. Seeing your life as a tapestry that was created by you, and not just imposed on you. Keeping in mind that the more active your choices are, the more likely your life will look a little prettier, or beautiful, than those who are a little more passive in choices, and living from states of reaction. Often, when living from that state, life doesn't look as beautiful. But at any moment you can shift your perception to find the Beauty by looking at the patterns, looking at what has led up to where you are, and making your active choices from there. This does not just include the bigger picture of your life, but the bigger picture of other people's lives, looking at the beauty in the world as it is, regardless of war, regardless of poverty, regardless of health issues. This does not mean you do not care, but that you find a way to see the beauty, and this can be tough for many of our students, to find a way to see the beauty in the hardships that some or many fragments endure for a lifetime. And by beauty we do not mean that you are literally seeing something pretty, but finding an appreciation for the awe in how it's all ultimately working. When you are not able to make your conscious choices, and live your day--to--day state from a place of being alive, then this particular area that we refer to as "finding the Beauty in life" defaults to Chaos. And this is where you start to break down the patterns that are in your life into what could be termed ugliness, or confusion, feeling as if life is happening TO you, instead of FROM you in your day-to-day living. When you have defaulted to reaction and stimulation, it looks like life is a mess. It looks like the world is a mess, or that others are a mess. Acknowledging that you may not grasp the bigger picture is the first step towards being able to see the bigger picture. Allowing room though, in your consciousness, to trust that you are part of a pattern that you have created, or a part of a pattern that you are interpreting from your experiences, can help you then to move more towards seeing the beauty, and feeling alive again. But most of you know what we are speaking of: where you look at the world and think that it has more symptoms of chaos than beauty. But the truth is that there is beauty in any pattern, when you look at it from a wide enough perspective. The next area that we feel might contribute to your understanding of what it means to be alive is to choose and create Freedom; in your day-to-day living. Each of you requires a certain amount of Freedom for you to feel alive. If that freedom becomes restricted, it can feel unpleasant. This freedom applies to many levels of you, of course, your spiritual freedom, your intellectual freedom, your emotional freedom, and your physical freedom. Understanding what it means for you to be free, or to have a free amount of choice in your day-to-day living, is important. But what many of you do is fall to the default of freedom, and experience Boredom. Because with freedom... most of our students have come to learn that with freedom comes a need for structure. They go hand in hand; they are not mutually exclusive. With freedom comes a sense of responsibility, a sense of discipline. When most fragments start to create a certain amount of freedom within the life, it becomes terrifying, because then issues of responsibility come into play. Issues of discipline, self--discipline (which simply means a heightened awareness of your choice making process) comes into play, and then what you do is you fall into the default structures, which we could describe as routines, repetitive patterns, or Boredom. You check out, and you let life fall into its own shape or a momentum that you've already started, and this can make you feel less alive. In order to break that you simply need to define what it means for you to feel free in your day-to-day living, and then allow yourself the permission to create the structure required for that freedom to be in place. We will go through each of these quickly, but revisit them if you have questions at the end. The next area that we would describe as needing to be in place for you to feel alive is Love. This may seem obvious, but we are not talking about sentimental attachments, we are talking about true embrace, true intimacy, being able to relate, to resonate to something beyond yourself, and allowing that resonance to come to you from other sources. When we are speaking of Love in this context we are talking about your relationships, your connections, to others... your embrace of differences, your embrace of self. What most of you do as a way to feel alive in your day-to-day living is to sort this experience and reduce it down to what we would describe as Contrast, or comparisons. So in order to feel loved, you compare yourself. You stimulate yourself with the idea of who is better and who is worse, how you are better and how you are worse. And then you feel as if you have an idea of what's lovable and what's not lovable. This, of course, inherently divides you from parts of your life, parts of yourself, other people, and it can become quite debilitating when you are constantly comparing. The next area that we would describe as being needed in place for you to feel alive is Truth. And by this we mean that you have a true form of communication happening in your life; that you are able to listen. That you actually take a moment to comprehend your exchanges, your interactions, what's happening in your life. To look at your perspectives more closely, rather than dismissing them. Because we have seen many students decide what is true without examining that decision. And quite often, when you do not like what you see as the truth, you start to break down your circles of communication, so that you can keep the truth that you have decided is true, without getting feedback to contradict it. So the default version of truth, the default that many of you resort to as a form of feeling stimulated, is to simply return to Entertainment. And we call this Entertainment because it is quite often a form of escape. It is a form of checking out from the reality of Truth into places that either distract you from the truth, or help you to put into place a truth that you find more appealing. It could also be described as lying. But in your day-to-day living, so that you could see where your default behavior falls, entertainment could be the easiest way to describe this. This does not mean that if you enjoy entertainment that you are escaping, but that in terms of being stimulated versus being alive, or feeling alive, many of you substitute Entertainment as a form of reality, as a form of truth, as a form of communication. In fact many of you will use entertainment as a medium for communication with others, so that you can talk about TV shows and the latest movie, without having to talk about what is happening in your life. Even the news could be deemed a form of entertainment that distracts you from the truth of your life, and the truth of reality, because what you see on the news does not reflect the entirety of reality. The next area that we would describe as needing to be in place for you to feel alive is to have a Vision. It is very important for people to feel as if they have a Vision of where things could go, possibilities, potentials, dreams if you will, although we wouldn't particularly leave it as just dreams... but a Vision. And by this we mean that you are able to see all the parts of your life and put it together in a way that it works for you as a resource for making happen what you want to happen next. So having vision, having clear vision, can help you to feel alive. What many of you do instead is default to one of the most destructive words that we have seen in language, which is Hope. And as many were shocked by our take on the word Faith, we would also put together similar responses to the word Hope. Many of you default to a form of Hope that things will get better, you Hope that someone will love you, you Hope that you can do what you want to do. Hope is a disengaged form of creating your life. It is a presumption that something else is going to make things better. It's a presumption that life happens TO you, and not FROM you. And the truth is, that it happens in both directions, but when you resort simply to Hope, you've left out your part. What we would suggest for some of you who use the word Hope is to move into a more empowering way of looking at your future, and possibly use the word Trust. We've always encouraged the word "Trust" because this is based on experience; it's based on its being time-tested, and it's personal. And we use the word Trust to describe the fact that you have had similar experiences or patterns in the past and you have survived them. You have made it through. So it is okay to trust that you will make it through again. This is more of an interactive approach to living your life; a more Alive approach, rather than simply sitting back and "hoping for the best." The last area that we would describe as needing to be in place for your sense of being alive is Spirit. Although there are many who would claim to be atheists, or rejecting of concepts of non-physical worlds, that does not need to be in place for a person to have Spirit in the life. By Spirit we mean that you recognize yourself as a part of something bigger, that you recognize yourself in others, as part of being a dynamic that, at this point, is not quite fully understood. It is a sort of surrender to the magnitude of the force that IS life. It is an embrace of the concept that, however much you would like to understand life, people, God, Essence, us, that it is truly, at this point, not completely able to be concluded in concept. So it could be said that to have Spirit in place is to have a sense of open consciousness beyond your personal philosophies. What many of you do (and we are going to make this more specific to our students) is that you'll default to a need for simple stimulation as you live your day-to-day [life], and you resort to what we would describe as the Supernatural. It must be exciting. There must be something supernatural, paranormal, and this is where you get your sense of Spirit, from this place; this playful, if you will, place of approaching Spirit. And as we said at the beginning, this is not bad. It is not a negative thing. But if you reduce the concept of Spirit, if you reduce the concept of your being a part of a bigger source, to the Supernatural, then you are constantly looking for proof, for something that we, at this point, have not seen capable of being proven. This does not mean that you cannot have your personal experience that allows you to validate your experiences; this is not what we are saying at all, but looking for proof of Spirit is quite often a failure, because they are very different dimensions of experience. So allowing room in your day-to-day life for Spirit, for the existing philosophies and perspectives and ideas and ideals, can allow you to feel more alive rather than simply living by looking for proof of Spirit around you. And we realize that we trudged our way through these concepts through our channel, but we will pause here before going into other layers of it to ask you if you have any questions regarding it. And if not, then we may have questions for you. NICK: I have a question. The concept of freedom for people who seem to really have a strong need for freedom in their lives, that's like a recurring theme beneath the freedom, do they tend to also have, or to fall back on, addictions? MICHAEL: Addictions can fall into place for most of these areas. It's not really exclusive to one or another. We are looking to see if there is anything that stands out, but we would have to say that it is not exclusive to the area of freedom, but that the type of addiction that might occur is usually specific to an area, of one of these areas. So if a person has a strong need for freedom and then falls into addiction, that may be a way for them to be finding structure. The addiction forces them into positions where others may intervene to create the structure, and redirect them into a way that brings them back to a place of responsibility and personal choice. So we can't say that it is exclusive to any area. Other addictions may be related to other areas that we could give examples for if there is a necessity for that. If not, does this answer your question? NICK: Yes. MICHAEL: Next question, if there are any. We will give you a moment to think it through. We don't want to put everybody on the spot. GLENN: I am curious to know, what would be the best method to determine how true our Truth is, or whether we are establishing a false Truth and defending that, or actually using a right method of finding Truth. MICHAEL: We would say that if you are bringing a sense of Truth to your days, then that sense of Truth needs no defense. That sense of Truth needs no escape. It need not be imposed. When a person has created a Truth, or has discovered a Truth, or has found an alignment with the Truth, or is sharing a Truth, there is simply no need for it to be defended. That is the clearest and easiest way that we can respond to that question. It does not mean that you have concluded the Truth, but that there is no need for you to protect it. There is no need for another person to accept it. There is no need for another person to understand it. That it is simply your Truth. That does not mean that it is going to be an ultimate Truth, because it's very difficult, as you know from working with our material, that there are various levels of Truth, and most of the time you are going to be dealing with personal Truths, which are not always going to be the same as everyone's around you. Personal Truths are simply that, your personal truths, but you can determine whether these are personal truths that are bringing you a sense of aliveness versus simply living, if you can ask the question, "Do I defend these or do I hide them?" And if you hide them or defend them, or avoid, or escape, then you are probably creating a deceitful approach to your life. You are simply moving into lies and entertainment. Do you understand? GLENN: Yes. MICHAEL: Any other questions? Well, what we can do now is point out another layer of the information that you might find helpful in terms of your overleaves, so that if you look at your role, or your Essence, and your casting, and find which of these particular areas [of aliveness] they match up with, which we'll get into in a moment, it can give you an idea of areas where you tend to default, and where you may have challenges in terms of simply living or being alive. The Servers or Server--cast fragments may have the most difficulty with Change, and defaulting to Crisis. It is very fruitful for many Servers or Server--cast fragments to feel as if they are saving the day, as if there is something being rescued, or challenging the resources of a Server to make things better, and so it can default to Crisis. Actively making choices for Change are inherent qualities for the Server because they CAN make things better, by their own definitions, but quite often this is prompted by Crisis situations. (note: Here Sandy has a fit of coughing, and Server Sheryl goes to get her a bottle of water, saying "here I am, jumping up again" as if to illustrate the point on cue. Michael smiles.) The Artisans or Artisan-cast among you may find Beauty as a form of strength, but also having difficulty with issues of chaos and overwhelm, and trying to control the patterns of life rather than observing and finding the Beauty in them. As we go through these, if you are of the roles, or the casting, you are welcome to chime in if these are resonating with you, or making sense to you, and you are welcome to ask for further details. The Warriors, or those who are Warrior cast, can have the strengths of providing Freedom through structure, but also defaulting to boredom, routine, and confinement. The Scholars or the Scholar-cast fragments resonate to the issues of Love, and for those of you who are Scholars or who know of Scholars, also know that there is a great deal of struggle with the issue of comparison, or contrast, gauging, and anticipating. Sages and the Sage cast, of course, will resonate to the issues of Truth, and possibly default to Entertainment, as we discussed already. Lies, self-deceit... and we don't describe those words in a way that is particularly as harsh as they sound, but they can be quite subtle, and very simple; that you tell yourself one thing about yourself, and try to prove this to others, or that you tell yourself something about others, and constantly look for evidence of this, and so forth. SANDY: How about telling yourself something about yourself, and then trying to prove it to yourself? MICHAEL: What is your question? SANDY: I was just wondering if that would be similar to what you were saying: if that would be a latent tendency for the Sage, to try to make it true? MICHAEL: If you are trying to make it true? this is a question that's not quite as specific as we... SANDY: Let me try to rephrase. You were saying that the Sage might have a tendency to tell themselves something about themselves and try to make other people believe it, and what I was wondering about was if there is the same tendency to try to make yourself believe it. MICHAEL: Yes, but, we want to make it very clear that there is a difference between trying to better oneself in one's own eyes, or to grow into a concept that one might have about one's self, but usually, if it's in the case that we think you are describing, then the self-deceit is much more difficult to sustain. And so yes, it's true that you can decide what's true about yourself, and then try to convince yourself of this, but we are looking at that, and it's very rare that it doesn't include trying to get others to believe it, so that you can [believe it, too]. Do you understand? It's usually not an isolated event. It's very difficult to lie to yourself without trying to find somebody to mirror that lie back to you. So it could be said that yes, that's a possibility, but it's a little more difficult and usually does include other people. If not, then it goes toward seclusion, isolation, avoidance, and distractions. The Priests and Priest cast, of course, resonate with the Visionary strengths in the world, and in life. Being able to see the potential, bypass logic in order to see how everything can come together as a resource for an idea to be implemented... but they are also the ones who'll be the first to tell you to have faith and Hope, and to blindly move forward in your life and "hope for the best". And the Kings and King cast, of course, resonate with Spirit and often default to a distraction with the Supernatural. And we can go into more details for any of these if any of you would like. Keeping in mind that we are speaking in terms of your role and your casting. If you would like to see where in that system you might have some strengths and some defaults, you can also translate your profile by looking at which axis or role your overleaves resonate with, and interpret it from there... which would be too complicated to interpret for everybody, but if you have a great amount, let's say, under the Server [category/column/axis], that resonates with the Server qualities, then you would also want to look at the issues of Change, Crisis, etc. So did all of this make sense to you, and do you see the differentiation in your own lives? Do you see your defaults? Do you see your strengths? And do you see the options that you might have in your day-to-day living to bring about a greater sense of Aliveness versus Simply Living? You are welcome to speak up. We know we have some Sages here. GLENN: Wouldn't the Goal be a factor in determining this search for truth, for being Alive? MICHAEL: Yes, it can be a factor, as well. We simply point out the Role and the Casting because they will always have a great deal of influence during a life. The Goal, and all of the other overleaves, will have equal influence, but what you can do is take each within a context and say that, for instance, if you have a goal of Re-evaluation or Growth, that you might have issues of Change and Crisis, or Vision and Hope. (We can go through all of the overleaves, but we think you can reference this later.) But within the context of a Goal, we remind you that a Goal does not necessarily describe you, or what you are; it describes the quality of life that you are extracting from the life, that you are looking for within the life to experience, and so if you have a Goal of Re-evaluation, you may be more inclined towards issues of Change and Crises, because it brings about experiences that will lend more to your Goal. SANDY: Michael, I am a Sage with Scholar casting, and from the beginning as you were describing the two sides, in each one, in each pair, I identified with one or the other, and I thought "Oh! Oh yeah, that's what I do! But I'm not a Server, I wonder why?" Then you went to Artisan, and on one side I identified with one more than the other, and I went "ok, why am I doing this?" It's like, I have all of these. Could you help me understand that? I mean, I know what you said about following the numbers and all that, but... MICHAEL: We suggest to you the cross-referencing [by Role/Casting/Overleaves] simply as a way to explore further, but all of these [factors for Aliveness] are relevant to all of you. It is not one area or another, although you may find yourself relating to one more than the other, we tried to put together a picture here that is a picture of an individual experiencing the whole of life. And these seven areas seem... [to offer a picture of what needs to be in place for bring about an Aliveness to the whole of life for everyone.] (battery died on the video and ended mid-channeling) END PART ONE BEGIN PART TWO (taken from video recorded as quickly as possible from Cheryl's phone) MICHAEL: .....to you as a form of helping to bring about a sense of wholeness and aliveness, and ask you a few questions as a form of bringing about doing things a little differently than usual, contributing to your first area of change. So, what we would ask is if any of you would like to share an idea that has come to you while listening to this, that you feel you would like to implement, for instance, starting tomorrow. What first came to mind to you to implement differently? SANDY: Ok, I'll go first. I would have to say that the first thing that really occurred to me that I really wanted to make a part of my life is to stop reacting as though life is something that just happens to me. I would really like to have a more positive attitude towards being in charge and making things happen but at the same time the only things that gets me scared of that is that I also feel its important when things don't go the way I planned, to be able to make the best of what is, and it's hard for me to understand how to reconcile those two things. MICHAEL: How to reconcile trying to create what you want, but allow room for ... Well, this goes back to what we described as simply control. There is a great difference between creation and control. If you look at your days, if you look at your life as something that needs to be controlled, then it will become painful when you lose control, when it's not something that you can manage. But when you look at your life as something that you are creating, what you do instead is that you are contributing to your days, you are participating in your days. You are not dividing yourself from the process as a way to control it, but you are shaping it, you are, for lack of a better word, creating it. When things do not go the way that you would like them to go, it is much like... and we usually do not speak in such poetic ways, but it is much like planting a seed, and having that [plant grow and the] flower bloom, you don't know exactly which direction it's going to grow, or how it's going to grow, or its strength, but your ability to respond to the needs of the moment is a form of creation. But to control a plant's growth, which is possible, we are not going to say that it's not, and it may not be the best analogy, but to control it is a form of monitoring that can become exhausting, and is a matter of stimulation and reaction. If it's going this way or that way, there's a reaction to it, but creation is the ability to respond to the moment's needs, if necessary. And we will also remind you to throw in looking at the spectrum that we have described in these seven areas and see what might help you in your situation, and in this case it might be to remind yourself of the concept of Spirit, that there are parts of this that you are not going to understand, and we are speaking from the lowest levels to the highest levels of it, when we say Spirit. Sometimes you just won't understand. This doesn't mean you can't continue trying to, it doesn't mean that you don't try, that you have to resign from trying to understand, but sometimes you won't, and sometimes you won't like what you've begun to understand fully, and the concept of Spirit can help you to recognize that it is a part of being Alive, is allowing room for those unknown factors. So do you see the difference between creation and control? SANDY: Yes. MICHAEL: And does this help you to look at a situation that may have gone awry, and see how responding to it is different from reacting to it? SANDY: Yes, very much. MICHAEL: Next question. CHERYL: I'm a scholar-cast warrior, and on the point of structure going to confinement, I've found the past few years, I've almost gone into a self imposed confinement, justifying it with things like a broken leg, and not being able to leave the house, or feeling like if I can't do anything about a situation I sort of retire into my "cave", and I'd like to sort of break out of that and be able to put a more productive structure into place rather than finding even physical reasons that I must remain confined. I don't enjoy it particularly, but I find safety in it in a weird way, and I'd like to change that. MICHAEL: And your question is how to break that? CHERYL: How to break the habit of a self imposed confinement when I find myself in situations of change or crisis where it almost becomes an excuse that I can't do anything about it because of this self imposed or physically imposed confinement, and I do have physical issues. MICHAEL: Yes, and that is a reality, that's simply a part of the Truth of your life. And to own that is its own form of Freedom. To work within that structure is its own form of Freedom. To use it as an excuse to retreat is a completely different angle, and you do recognize the difference between acknowledging the truth of the situation, and retreating by using it as an excuse; there is a difference. The way to break out of this is often very simple, and that is simply to do something different; to go to the larger picture of Change and implement something different. We don't think that we are telling you anything you don't already know, but it is very easy not to do the different thing. It is very easy to default, and that is fine. Giving yourself permission to have been doing it that way over time is its own form of Freedom. But implementing something different and following through with it looks like one of the only ways that you could break that pattern. So, to be more succinct, we would say that owning the confinements that are in place, the Truth of the reality of some of your limitations, allowing that to be the Truth, is its own form of Freedom. But if you want to do something within that structure, rather than thinking of it as restrictions or limitations, look at it as a structure, then it becomes a playground of Freedom in itself. Then you can choose within that what you can do differently. There are many things that we can suggest that you could do differently but those are personal matters and we can discuss this with you at another time, but that is the clearest we can get at this point, that you would just need to do something different. There are no magic answers beyond your own efforts. If you are not making the effort, then the change won't happen; then the Freedom won't be there, then the Truth won't be there, and then you'll lose your Vision. Your efforts, your participation, is the key. So if you have resigned to the default, which is fine, and a matter of choice, then there is nothing that is going to rescue you from that, except you. Do you understand? CHERYL: Yes, very much so. I understand that it requires action, but sometimes you don't know which direction to go. MICHAEL: If you are confused about which direction to go, then you would want to look at these options as clearly as possible and simply move in a direction that you feel is most appropriate and then, once you have explored that option, don't condemn yourself to having made a mistake, to give you further proof as to why you should have stayed confined. Retroactive confinement is just as powerful as current confinement, so looking at your past as a pattern of mistakes or as a pattern of bad judgment is its own prison, whereas looking at the opportunities and experiences, and the adventures that have come from these so called mistakes, (and we won't argue with you that it would be easy to call them mistakes, or easy to call them difficult directions,) but there was definitely a beauty in these that you may have overlooked. CHERYL. I agree, there is. MICHAEL: So, when you are looking ahead at all of your options, to avoid choosing those options is still a choice, but it won't move you forward. Moving forward, and knowing you can trust yourself to deal with it, to handle it, to adapt, and giving yourself credit for that, is the only way truly to break out of what you described as your confinement. Sometimes, the options ahead, based on where you are now, which is a result of past choices, can also look like whatever direction you go in, you're going to have to run through fire. CHERYL: (laughing) Yes, it feels like that sometimes. MICHAEL: And we would not disagree with you; we would not say that there was one safer route than another, or to even direct you in one safer route than another, as that would take away your choice, but it is valid that quite often you corner yourself in your life in a way that when you look up everything looks on fire, or everything looks underwater, however you would like to describe it. And you can still get somewhere through that. Getting through that opens up more options, and branching your way forward through your choices is the only way to get out of that space that looks surrounded by fire. We just wanted to throw that in because we don't mean to diminish the experience of being physical and looking up and feeling like your choices are extremely limited, or difficult in making as you move forward, and thinking it must be obvious what to do next, because it should be a beautiful, lovely route that stands out. Quite often, it's not. It's a rickety old bridge that's your only way forward. Next question, if there are any. GLENN: I'm a sage, artisan -cast, and I found great resonance in the concept of retreating into entertainment, distractions, not remaining creative. That's an area I would like to change. I've seen that behavior in myself. I know we are not dealing with polarities, but in the positive sense, you would want to remain creative, and not, as you say default and not let your choices... ...and the other part I resonate with is that, well I have difficulty with actually, is that... how do I see the beauty in many of the choices I have made? Some of them are... you mentioned the word awe, but I would say "awful." I am hoping to find a way to reframe that in a way that, going forward, will give positive results. MICHAEL: We will point out that as you grow within a lifetime, or across lifetimes, you are going to look back and see where things could have gone differently, where choices could have been made in a way that would be more to your liking from your current perspective. It is easy to just look back and see those moments, from "Oh God, look at that hairdo" to the awful, as you say; choices that have been made that impacted others [or yourself] in painful ways. The way to see the awe, and the Beauty is to translate that into the Innocence by looking back at your choices and honoring the Innocence in who you were, or who that person was, in the past. That person did not know, or have the same perception, that you do, now. So, condemning yourself to past choices that were made does not necessarily bring about the opportunity for creativity or the Truth. Instead, it locks you in the past, in a place that is not you anymore. Looking back and finding the Beauty and the innocence can allow the forgiveness that might be needed or required for you to move forward, which of course falls under the aliveness factor of Love. Forgiveness would be included in that. Looking back at yourself and finding the ability to embrace that, to honor the Innocence that was you, however "awful" it may have been, can help you to... telescope, or embrace those fragments [of yourself] that you left in time, to bring about an energy that allows for creativity and the Truth. Does this make sense to you? Does this work a little better? GLENN: Oh yes! Very much so. SANDY: I have a follow up on the same line there. In the process of looking for the Beauty in some of those, as Glenn put it, "awful" decisions, I'm wondering if some of this stuff might not connect with Karmic situations, agreements, monadal relationships. Wouldn't honoring those things some of the time, couldn't they have sometimes caused us to make decisions that from now, to the personality, might look awful, but to the Essence might look validating and fulfilling? MICHAEL: Yes, and that is one of the double--edged swords of being alive, or even living, is that Essence pretty much gets a kick out of everything. And this can be very disturbing to Personality, or to the physical self who has one life, and Essence is enjoying all of the struggles and difficulties and pain that you are going through, in its own way. Not in some sort of sadistic way, but in a way... in the same way that many of you go to the theater, or go to the movies, and lose yourselves in those experiences, knowing you are safe, knowing that you ARE safe and are not actually a part of that movie. Yes, it can resonate with you, it [the movie] can bring out emotions and experiences and fears, but it's not the whole truth, it's not the whole picture. Essence has a little bit of an edge on your life in that regard, that it knows that ultimately, you are safe. This can help you at times in your life, from the angle of looking at the factor that we have described as Spirit. It could also included in that sphere [of Spirit] that you are ultimately safe. You could call it safety, that ultimately, you are safe. That's a quality that falls under the heading of spirit. Recognizing that there is a part of you that may have gained something from what you've experienced, something that you probably at this point, or most likely at this point, do not understand. Give yourself time to understand it, give yourself room to grow into, or grow out of the experience that you've just had, or have had. But we will also point out here, that personality ultimately has the control over the choices within the lifetime. Essence will never override the choices of personality. Essence can have the greatest, most beautiful ideas for a lifetime, and personality is born, and finds itself in many more messes than Essence could have anticipated. So it could be considered a factor that some of the experiences that you go through are a part of a plan, if this is what you mean? SANDY: At least could be, in at least some situations. MICHAEL: You have to be a willing participant in those plans, for them to be implemented. The only time that it's not is in situations of karma, where someone has interfered with your choice. When someone interferes with your choice, in earlier lifetimes [younger soul ages], the karma was created. Karma is easily created, and it is a very dramatic and exciting experience for Essence, because when your choice is interrupted, a lot of reaction comes from this, and karma is basically the balancing of that [energy generated from] reaction. It's not black and white, it's not tit for tat, it's simply a balancing. But, as you grow older in soul age, you tend to RESPOND to interruptions of your choices rather than REACT to them. And so karma is less and less a factor in your life. So keeping that in mind, that there is an intelligence in your personality that goes beyond just this lifetime, or [an intelligence] that you have the capacity to access that goes beyond this lifetime, that can help you look at your daily life and experiences, that can look at the experiences that may have been karma, or created karma, and that your RESPONSES can help create the next moment rather than your REACTIONS causing more karma. So we wanted to throw that in there as an observation for where you are now as older souls, whereas in earlier lifetimes it may be true that you are knocked around a little bit like a pinball [in a pinball] machine, and you learn to, you learn within that structure how to maneuver. But even then, personality is a willing participant. Even in karmic payback, for lack of a better phrase, those [instances] are not imposed on you. SANDY: I think I understood that they weren't imposed, but what I was looking at in this, part is hypothetical, but in an earlier life, something happened between me and person B, and they owed me a karmic debt, let's say they killed me, and they've taken all this time, and that karma was never resolved, the debt was never repaid. Now here I am at an old level, and it may have happened at a baby level, and I happen to run across them again could that not lead me to make a decision in my relationship with that person that a few years later looking back at it I say "How could I have done such an awful thing?" Whereas really I was doing what, if I look at it from the point you're saying now, of awe, if I could understand it I would realize that it's a beautiful thing, that I was balancing this thing, and I shouldn't be kicking myself for what I did, because there was a good reason for it. MICHAEL: Yes, you could look at it from that perspective. SANDY: I am going to be more specific. Michael, is this okay? CYPRUS: They like it when we solve our own problems. SANDY: I have had a karmic relationship with a fragment whose life... I caused their death. I wasn't told that I killed them, but I caused their death, and so I had a debt to pay. An agreement was made to make that repayment by giving that person life this time, where they could be raised by someone who was their Essence twin, to be their parent, and I was going to repay the life by giving the life to that essence by the birth, [but giving the baby up for adoption]. So the debt was repaid by the birth. My personality obviously went along with that, and did all that, but for a good many years after that happened, I was sitting around going "How could I have done that? How could I have given away that child?" I could be in horror of the decision I had made but later with perceptive in the way we are talking about today, you could look at the awe of the whole thing, of how beautifully it all played out, that it didn't have to be an eye for an eye or a death for a death. The repayment was made, I judged myself harshly and wrongly for a really long time, but now I can see the beauty of the whole thing, that I couldn't see before. Not to diminish personality over essence but it is all kind of tied together, Karma and personality and essence, and that's what makes it awesome. CYPRUS: I agree with you that it is beautiful, but let's say you didn't have contact with Michael, and let's say you didn't have that opportunity, I think the concept is to be able to see the innocence in yourself at that time, and forgive that person without that external information, or without the pretty picture that you paint. I'm not saying that's doesn't make it easier, and that it's not the way to do it, but to be able to look at yourself without that knowledge and say "I did this, I did it out of innocence", and see the innocence in that decision ... not just forgiving yourself but forgiving others. So maybe even though it is a beautiful big picture, the concept is that you don't always know what that big picture is, you don't always have that all laid out for you all beautifully. And you have to be able to, in situations where you don't have that, still see the innocence in you. MICHAEL: Yes, as Cyprus points out, you may not have had the luxury of, and we use that word loosely, of having the insights that we would offer to you, (and even then you may have rejected them,) as a way of getting out of the pain that might have been caused by the choice of the past. So with or without the information that was shared with you about the past, it's still a matter of choice as to how you interpret the past, how you look at the past, and how you find the beauty of that. Another fragment may have looked at that and found the beauty or the innocence in his or her own way without our information, or another fragment may have received this picture of an awesome pattern of which he or she has taken a part and still left themselves completely condemned by that past choice. So the point that we are trying to make is that it does not matter what information you have, or lack of information you have, or how choices were made, or what influences may have been involved, your perception of the past is still a matter of choice, it's still a matter of interpretation. It is still a matter of finding the Beauty, the Truth, the Love... all of these factors that we have described as being a part of the whole life or a life that is felt as being Alive. All of these factors need to be owned by you when looking at your past, so that it can be interpreted more productively, more creatively, and with, for some of you, forgiveness. If we get lost in all of the causes, in all of the reasons, then you get lost in the default. You get lost in the stimulation. You can look back at the situation that you described, and see it as a beautiful pattern that essences were involved in, or you can look back at it and say from a very simple perspective "I made that choice, and it was the best choice that I could have made at the time." Whether you would choose differently or not is not a matter of reality, it is not a matter of concern. So we hope that we are conveying to you that all of the ingredients you are describing as being factors in the past are not as important as your perception of the past now. SANDY: I guess what I was trying to say in a very convoluted way is that if one defaults to beauty, if one can achieve a habit of defaulting to looking for the beauty, that whether or not you know those specifics, one can then accept the idea that everything happens in beauty, and if you happen to learn the details of it, that's swell, but even if you can't, if you can get to a place of defaulting to beauty you can make it your task of seeing beauty out of the situation. MICHAEL: Yes, except that you will never default to those areas because they require conscious participation. They require choice. So it will always be an active effort to interpret and see the Beauty in your past. We want to point that out because it is not something that you can work to finally achieve; that it will be [permanently] in place, and from now on everything will be beautiful. SANDY: Well no, I don't mean that's something that will happen, but won't it happen more often if you practice that? MICHAEL: It won't "happen," as much as you will make it happen. SANDY: You have to default to something. CYPRUS: Yeah, but Default is not the conscious choice, default is the automatic... it's the reaction, not the response. You have to learn to respond with seeing Beauty. The default is when you just... SANDY: Well that's what I want to do, to just change the default. CYPRUS: Well you'll have to make that choice time and time and time again. MICHAEL: That [default to being Alive] is not going to happen: it's a manual process, because you are not going to stop life from having chaos, you're not going to keep life from having crisis. You are not going to be able to avoid that part of life. Instead, the part that we described as being Alive, is being conscious, whereas defaulting to an area means you have excluded the possibility of the Aliveness factor; Beauty in this case. When you are in a moment of chaos and you make the choice to find the Beauty in it, then you have created a more spherical experience. We are not saying that once you have reached a place where you are able to see the Beauty in things, that everything will suddenly be beautiful, though it will become easier, or more second- nature if you will, to be able to find those patterns of innocence, Beauty, awe, and you will not feel so trapped in chaos, or any of the other defaults that we have described. CYPRUS: And sometimes you're not always ready to make that choice at the time, and maybe not even ten years later or twenty years later... you look back and you see that you made the choices, and now you feel more comfortable, more accepting, whatever, and you are able to see it, when you weren't able to see it when it was closer. It's not always immediate. MICHAEL: Which would go into the factor we have described as Spirit. Sometimes you simply won't understand at the time. And to give yourself room for that understanding and comprehension is a way of bringing Spirit to it. So it looks to us like we might want to wrap this up and if there is another question we will take it, otherwise we will conclude. KERRIN: I have a quick question. You brought up Spirit, and I'd like to know a little bit about why the supernatural comes as a default. There is much about the supernatural that is real. CHERYL: Just non-physical. MICHAEL: It is not surprising that the King would bring this up. We use the word "supernatural" specifically for the older souls simply because it can become very enticing to look for proof of "other," proof of the beyond, proof of something; another source. But as we said, even in this particular event that you are describing as channeling and we are speaking to you, there is no proof here that we are Michael, there is no proof here that Troy is not accessing some part of his own brain in a creative way that is simply misunderstood. Allowing that unknown factor to be a part of the process is bringing Spirit into the arena of your life. Being distracted with the proof of the experience may have made you miss out on all of the information that we shared here. Looking for the supernatural in this... if you would like us to make the pictures dance on the wall so that the rest of the information is valid, then you have lost Spirit, you have lost your openness to other avenues of information and source. So that is why we have pointed out the supernatural as a default for a lot of the older souls in particular. Because as you grow older and you start to ponder, and truly begin to embrace the idea of having a soul, in a more tangible way than in many of your other lifetimes, then it becomes a conundrum to say " I have accepted that I have a soul, now where is it?" And having contact with us in this way can help bring about the symptoms and the insight and the information that can help you towards that reality, but Spirit will never be able to truly prove itself to you. We will be able to prove to you our existence, for example, when we see you after this life and all of us "wave" at you. GROUP: (laughing) We'll wave right back. UNKNOWN: I have a question about seeing each other after this life. Do we actually get to a level where Michael will be moving on from the causal or another plane, and we have so many other journeys to make, so do we eventually meet up? MICHAEL: Oh, yes. UNKNOWN: Eons from now? MICHAEL: It won't be eons once you are outside of the physical plane because the concept of time takes on a completely different experience and dimension. It's very difficult to convey, but in your linear time it might be quite a while, but outside of this plane it's not quite the same. And as far as your "in between" lives, for instance, we have met with several of you in order to have this group, in general. Not all of you, but a lot of you in this room are here because of agreements that we talked to you about before this life. And it [our having contact with Michael between lives] could be likened to various continents on the same planet, so that there is always communication, and there is the ability to interact, albeit in some ways limited to a certain degree, but none of us are separate, none of us are divided. And eventually, yes, your entity, your cadre, your energy ring, will exponentially grow and learn and do whatever it wants to do in these other planes, and we don't want to use this phrase, but it's appropriate in terms of Time, will "catch up" with us, and merge in a way that, at this point, is a little incomprehensible while divided. UNKNOWN: I have another question. When this happens, do we go on to incarnate in other planets, or other realms? Or once we reach that causal plane and passed that in our own cadre/entity group, do we stop incarnating? MICHAEL: There will be at least two more incarnations for your entity, or your cadre, because you only have, while individuals, the five soul ages, while incarnating on your own... Infant through Old. Infant, Baby, Young, Mature, and Old. But there is still Transcendental and Infinite, and each of you, as an entity, will incarnate one more time somewhere, in some parallel, in some version of your world, to be a part of that experience. That way one fragment will incarnate to represent the experience of the entity as we have described for such people as Gandhi and Socrates being Transcendental. Christ and Buddha, for instance, being popular Infinite soul representations. So there will still be, at least, those two additional incarnations, and most often it will be within the planetary system where most of the rest of the population is still incarnate. UNKNOWN: The planetary system being earth? MICHAEL: Yes. But by the time you are reunited to a point of incarnating as Transcendental or Infinite souls, who knows where your people will be. GLENN: What are Michael's plans for the future? MICHAEL: We have our own relationship to what you could describe as an Entity Twin rather than Essence Twin. Part of our "future" is the merging with our Entity Twin. This twinning is a matter of mathematics and resonance. Within a cadre, for instance, and this is not by any means a constant, if two entities have a predominance of essence twins shared between those two entities, they are Entity Twins. And so, every entity has its own twin, in the same way that almost every essence has its own essence twin. And so, if we were to describe our "future," it's the process of integrating with our Entity Twin and we are working on that. UNKNOWN: Is it exciting? MICHAEL: That would be a matter of interpretation. It is a unique experience. [QUESTION INAUDIBLE, but possibly, "Will you incarnate as a Transcendental Soul and will we be around to experience that?"] MICHAEL: You will be long gone. And that is not a prediction, it is just a matter of looking at the patterns that appear to be in place, or the momentum. But we may incarnate, and we have done so already in a few parallels, incarnated as Transcendental. So it is not a new possibility. We don't really have to do it again in this particular parallel, because we have our channels where we teach in a different way. And in several of our parallels we are working in this same way. But, yes, in some parallels we have already incarnated as Transcendental souls. UNKNOWN: Nobody we'd know, huh? MICHAEL: It's a completely different parallel. [meaning, we wouldn't know the person, because they don't exist "here."] GLENN: I heard there are a couple of issues on what may happen with the next Infinite Soul, including a different Michael channel saying "look at all the trouble Jesus caused when he showed up." And that a soul might incarnate in multiple fragments in various places. So I'd like to hear your insights on all this. MICHAEL: IF the infinite soul manifests, and we've seen it come close a few times, and it usually will incarnate only as a matter of bringing Logos to bear, (which just translates into "helping get everybody back on the same page, to help get everybody moving in a similar shared direction,") but ironically, with the anticipation of the manifestation of the Infinite Soul coming, and having so many fragments being born to be a part of that, many of them very wise and very capable to contribute to humanity even while having a great handful of people causing what you would deem "trouble," has actually helped to bring humanity, people, sentients, back down into a similar perspective, a moving forward together. If you look at the arc of time from approximately the '60s to now, progressively, the world is getting smaller and that awareness in itself is similar to the impact that the Infinite Soul would have brought with the concepts of global village, "green" living; a more responsible dominion with life rather than a dominance over it.... so now all of the fragments who are incarnated are doing just that, so it doesn't require an Infinite Soul intervention, which is basically what an Infinite Soul experience is: a form of intervention for a sentient species. At this point it is looking like humanity is going to right itself in a way that will provide sanctuary for the life that is here currently, and also to help keep humanity, or the human bodies, available for incarnation. We will, however, validate that what we have seen of the next manifestation of the Infinite Soul is looking to show up in five different places because of the population. The amount of people on the planet is different from in the past, and having a representative in different places in the world, all represented by a similar theme of being a minority and represented as a child, a woman, a homosexual... we're not sure what the other two may have been, but the Infinite Soul representatives were what would be deemed a minority, a representative of the minority, and would help bring about the drastic changes that might have been needed. But we don't see that as being so necessary at this point. So, currently, it is a floating possibility. Does this answer your question? GLENN: yes MICHAEL: As humanity, or as a dominant sentient species, grows in maturity, then the forces at work that help sustain environment, that help sustain the life on the planet, (which we regard as devas, or devic energy), those devic energies begin to withdraw to a point where the dominant sentience is then responsible for caring for those life forms on the planet that have cared for by them up to that point. It is a process of any sentient species to gain that responsibility for the planet, for animals, for others, and this is why you are seeing so much upheaval in the environment, because the devic energies are not there to help correct it. There are not these "magical forces" to pick up the slack or repair the damages that the sentient species causes, and so this experience for sentience is very similar to a person over the growth of one lifetime, where a teenage child or rather a young adult, has to, at some point, learn to live on his own, and create his environment with some sense of responsibility. And so that is the case with a collective sentient species as well, on any planet. UNKNOWN: There are a lot of people on the planet who .... have really been trying to reconnect with these elementals and undo the damage that has happened. It was getting exciting and really tapping into that. Do you think we will really start reconnecting with the energies that are pulling out? MICHAEL: It's not a bad thing that they are "pulling out." What you are describing is parts of humanity finding themselves going where certain parts of the population recognizes the intimacy with these forces that will continue to remain in place, because there always will be some of amount of these forces, devas; it's just not of such an abundance that it takes up slack, or heals the impact from humans. So when these fragments are making an effort to reconnect, to communicate, to manage this network of devic energies, that is exactly where we would think your species would go. It's just that it becomes a more intimate and validated form of helping the environment and humanity itself. Do you understand? So it's not that devic energies are leaving because they are in a huff over humanity, but that it is just simply the way that it works when a planet houses a sentient species; there is simply no more room for new souls to be incarnated, and to have the Infant soul lifetimes that are so important to the beginning process of your grand cycle. And for those "new souls" that are here and shifting into bringing sentience to species such as Gorillas, you will find that the awareness of devic energy that is required for your own personal growth on the planet expands to include the possibility that dolphins and whales and gorillas have a similar concept of "soul." The only way that the Gorilla population will be able to continue in its exploration of housing souls is if humanity expands its awareness to consider these subtle energies in nature. To have a lot of species suddenly take sentience might not be easy to do. For instance, Elephants were up for consideration, but it's simply not a possibility that we can see because of many factors. The reason that we bring up the drop in devic energy is because as devic energies are participating in the various kingdoms, the mineral, the plant, the animal, they are exploring the possibilities of sentience within a planet, and as those possibilities diminish, so does their interest in the planet, and they move on to others. LU: Michael I have a question about machines, do machines or electronics have a specific energy? MICHAEL: Yes, eventually they can start to become of high interest to certain energies that you could describe as devic, yes. LU: Does that mean we can begin to communicate with them in some way? Can we as humans communicate with machines and electronics? MICHAEL: In what way are you speaking? LU: I find that when I have printer problems at work, I often ask the equipment what it needs or what it wants, open all the ports and doors and look around and try to communicate to see what has happened. MICHAEL: That is not quite the same thing as devic energies, no. That is just an intuitive process for solving problems. And it is an effective one, because when you are doing it from that angle you are not limiting your insights, you're not limiting your perspective, but you are inviting other perspectives, and this means opening up to Spirit, opening up to other sources that may be of help to you. Whether those are your guides or other spirits who happen to be in the room and helping point you in the right direction of a solution, we don't know, but as far as that printer housing devic energies, we wouldn't say that is necessarily true. We can say that the higher the intelligence of some processors, the more interesting it becomes to some versions of devic energy to explore those. LU: Do some high level CPUs and processors have sort of a hive soul? MICHAEL: Not on this planet, no. CHERYL: I have often wondered about the internet being... Well, I used to joke that God had an internet account because of so many coincidences, or our meeting certain people. Do non-physical energies have any influence over it [the internet], or is it just random when people come together, such as us through a medium such as the internet? Is it somehow directed? MICHAEL: We have talked about this before that there is a theory that is not quite accurate that says that you use ten percent of your brain, and that there is all of this other processing that is unused. And we have responded to say that that is not true, but that in this case, we could say that ninety percent of your brain is generating the reality that you are experiencing, is being used to generate the reality that you keep in place to organize and communicate and work with all of the things that you don't have to deal with in your daily perception. As a species grows, some of these concepts [floating in the reality-generating part of the brain] that are metaphysical or nonphysical come into being and they become tangible objects [through invention, or creation]. They become real life, useful tools such as the telephone [representing clairaudience], such as television [representing clairvision]. The concept of the Astral Plane is not unfamiliar to any of you because all of you have died and reincarnated, died and reincarnated, so you "know" the Astral Plane is there, at least that "ninety percent" of your brain does, and so somebody got the idea to create a network that mimicked or represented the Astral Plane. And so the internet is the physical idea of the Astral Plane made form, or at least into the limited idea of the Astral Plane at this point. The Internet relates to the dream state, to the astral plane, and to emotional and intellectual realms that are not necessarily within reach of your daily life, but the Internet allows that to come into your space in the same way that, when you are on the astral plane, it's always at your fingertips, as well. Except you don't have fingertips there. (laughter) So in answer to your question, no it [meeting people through the Internet] is not always random as there is very little true randomness in the Universe, but it does give you a tangible method of using the intangible parts of your brain to connect to other people around the world. And with that, we will wrap it up. Goodbye.
  5. NYC MICHAEL SPEAKS LIVE: on Death & Dying March 12, 2011 Note from Janet: This session was transcribed by Bobby from the original video of the session. MEntity: Ok, give us a moment to settle in and we'll begin. Ok, Hello to each of you, as we come through, bear with us as we adjust to Troy's opening up to us a little bit more than he usually has to in his day to day channeling of us since it has been awhile since he's gone into a full trance for us so our communication may be halted or skewed in some way that will need correction and we will try to catch those as we communicate. We understand that your discussion subject of today is the afterlife or the process of dying and experience in between lives and we'll try to explain this to you in a way that will not only use our teaching as a map to interpret that experience but if we can we will try to do it in a way that is applicable and not just something to ponder. In other words, knowing certain people in your life that may have died or may die and understanding that process from this exchange with us, may bring some peace to yourself and to the one who has died in a way that might not have been there without this information. It might also come in handy for each of you if you find yourselves in the process of facing your own deaths. However, knowing this or not knowing it will not make much difference because once you die you will have to deal with it anyway. No matter what your beliefs are, no matter what your philosophies are, your consciousness does continue beyond what you recognize as you in your current life. It does not end, it only evolves. The consciousness that you will identify with though beyond this particular version of you is much broader than the you that you recognize in your day to day life and so there is some adjustment period to that. In the same way if you will you'll have to at some point embrace the totality of your lifetime as yourself as you age. It is not much different in that regard. In other words, at 50 years old you still have experience being a 10 year old. And part of the process of living a fulfilled life and having transited all of the Internal Monads to a successful degree, which we will get to in a moment, we will elaborate on how they are involved, in order to have that sense of fulfillment, that sense of wholeness at the age of 50, we are just picking a random age, you must remember the 10 year old within you. You must embrace that. You must acknowledge that part of you has existed and had its own perspectives that have become integrated in who you are at 50 years old. And the same applies beyond this life as a form of consciousness that explores the physical plane as yourself in this lifetime and as all of the other selves that you've been in other lifetimes. The process of that consciousness that existed throughout all of those, goes through stages of development or evolving towards wholeness and that evolution is the process of remembering or integrating all of the variations or all of the personalities that it has been. The experience of your death is often dictated by where you are in the process of your internal monads. All of the internal monads are not properly or appropriately processed during a lifetime so some for instance may be stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad and even at the age of 50 or 60 when that individual dies will have an afterlife that is often relative to the fact that he or she is stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad and the same thing applies to the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. Just to recap and to have it on record as part of the information relative to the topic, we will go over the 7 Internal Monads although we know that most of you are aware of them in our teaching. The 1st one of course is birth, the process of staying alive. The 2nd is your autonomy marked most often by your realization that you can walk or that you're independently mobile from your creator which is your parents or the identified caretakers for you in that lifetime. The 3rd is your independence which is often marked by your rebellion as a teenager in the process of becoming your own personal resource within the lifetime. The 4th is your manifestation of Essence or your becoming yourself and that is the process of relinquishing all of the imprinting that has been imposed upon you by your caretakers, your school, your culture, your society, and deciding from that pool of imprinting and influence on your nature what is true to you and then building upon that. It's basically the process of returning to a sense of innocence and enthusiasm for your life and liking yourself. The 5th Internal Monad is then the process of stripping away even your own sense of identity in the sense that you no longer are attached to who you by your own definition have decided you are and you recreate yourself. This is the recreation stage. This usually happens in what is often referred to as the senior citizen stages of life and this is where you strip yourself of everything you have thought you were and you build from scratch. And this does not mean that you lose everything that you thought you were but that you are not identified with it any longer and you learn how to play with the life that you've created. Where the 4th Internal Monad might be described as your process of discovering or creating your sense of purpose, the 5th Internal Monad would be the process of creating or discovering your sense of play. The 6th Internal Monad is the realization, the profound realization, that you are going to die and quite often includes the onset of what will kill you. In some cases this is obvious and in some cases this is not... and the acceptance of the fact that you will die, the acceptance your mortality. It could be said that the 6th Internal Monad then is your stripping away of the lifetime to allow room for the broader consciousness that you are as you exit the lifetime. Then of course, the 7th Internal Monad is the exiting of the lifetime. Birth and death may seem to be a given as they are correlations to the 1st and 7th Internal Monads but just because you are born does not mean completed or successfully processed the birth monad and just because you died does not mean you completed or processed the 7th Internal monad. Those are just markers for those internal monads and to die does not necessarily mean that you have accepted that you are dead just like being born does not mean that you accept that you are alive. Based on where you are in the process of those personal rites of passage, those 7 Internal Monads, has an effect on what you experience directly after the lifetime. So that if you are in the 2nd Internal Monad, stuck there for the life which would basically mean that you are dependent, co-dependent to a great degree, and having difficulty separating from those who you might think are responsible for you. This would affect how you process your afterlife. So that when you die, your 1st experiences will be the completion or the attempt to complete or process that 2nd Internal Monad. Because what happens is, in every single lifetime you will pick up where you left off in the process of the 7 Internal Monads. So that if you are stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad in this life, in the next life you will catch up to that point. You will still go through the 1st and 2nd Internal Monad but you must move beyond that, into the 3rd Internal Monad, or beyond if possible and if not then the next life you build upon that. Because those 7 Internal Monads but be properly and successfully transited in order for you to be able to move from one soul age level to the next. And this is not a cosmic rule in place, it is simply our way of interpreting the process and that is a consistent process that those 7 rites of passage must be integrated and processed fully before you can move to the next level of awareness or integration that were were just describing earlier. If you are stuck in the 3rd Internal Monad then of course that would more than likely the experience that many have described as the dichotomy as heaven and hell or some push pull that causes the consciousness to have to go through a process of rebellion and fight with itself after the life to come into it's own. And then of course, that process is over, when that process is over, the consciousness can then begin to plan the next life. But those initial moments or years depending on your perspective and what version of time you are translating the experience through are dictated by the personality's experience of the life, the overall consciousness that is your Essence. In other words, just because you have died so many times before does not make the next death an extension of those previous deaths. It is relative to the personality in the current lifetime. Your personality gets to decide what it experiences after it dies. It is not always a sudden realization that you are more than what you thought you were. That is a process after dying. Now before we continue on, we will stop here for a moment to ask if you have any questions about what's been shared so far. Question: If you die and you've only gotten up to the 3rd Internal Monad does that mean that now you're faced with the death monad, you're not going to accept that you're dead? I thought you said the completion of that monad means you've accepted that you're dead. But if you're only gotten up to the 3rd monad in your life, how does that, what does that mean? MEntity: Yes, this is where it gets a little complex in terms of how the levels are processed but we will try to explain it to you that as you progress through the internal monads and you have a personality that is stuck in the 3rd internal monad and it's afterlife is a process of completing that 3rd internal monad or at least processing as much of it as possible, in linear terms, that effort contributes to next lifetime. However, the personality that did not move beyond that remains "alive" in it's own time frame so that when there is finally a personality that does complete the 7th Internal Monad, then it can go back and collect all the personalities from that soul age level. Until then, that personality is for lack of terms, stuck in its own process. Does this makes sense to you? Question: The personality doesn't die with the body? MEntity: No. The personality that is designed as a part of the body dies but the template that the body was created from, which came first, the template came first, continues. When your Essence designed your personality before a lifetime starts, it starts with one of the overleaves and that becomes the core of that personality. For instance, if your Essence decides to choose the Attitude first that Attitude becomes its own form of consciousness around which the rest of the overleaves are constructed. And then, those overleaves are a part of what contributes to the genetics of, or what is activated in the body that is created for the lifetime. Each body is a pool of genes and the overleaves are what plucks out or activates particular genes or DNA that becomes who you are in a lifetime. And so, while that physical counterpart does die, the template or overleaves do not. To make it easier to understand because we sense that you are not fully grasping what we are saying or we are not conveying it clearly enough, think of the concept of a soul that is not the same thing that what we use to reference your Essence so that soul inhabits the body and that soul continues on after the lifetime is over and those could be described as fragments of the Essence. Of course we would not like that to be a terminology or a part of our teaching but it is true that your Essence fragments itself in the same way that the Cadres fragment themselves and the Essence collects those fragments back up in the same way that the Cadre collects its fragments back up. So the you that you are here will extend beyond this lifetime and will be collected with all the other versions of your Essence to make up a whole that is the consciousness that you are. Is there another way that we could describe this that might make it easier to understand or are we being clear? Question: So you're using the word Soul synonymously with personality and its a fragment of your Essence? MEntity: Yes, we just threw that in as a means to help you to see that the personality or the template that activates the personality is a fragment of your Essence and therefore has its own version of consciousness. Question: And it lives on past the body... that is a new concept and I've never heard of it. MEntity: Yes, and this is why, and this may help you to comprehend. This is why there can be "hauntings" while the Essence continues to evolve because the personality remains behind as the haunting and the Essence continues to evolve and once it gets to a point where it is evolved enough it will go back and collect the personality that has remained behind so to speak as a part of that haunting. So just because there is a haunting does not mean that the Essence that is associated with that particular lifetime or personality that might be the haunting is stuck... it does not mean that. It continues. It has its own management system for all of the lifetimes and is not dictated by one personality. If the Essence evolution was dictated by any individual personality, it would be very difficult to get past the 1st lifetime. But at the end of every soul age level, all of the personalities relative to that level are collected, integrated, and the new level is begun. If this is new information it is only because the questions have not been asked. And this is why we qualified the response with the fact that it is a bit complicated because it means that you exist in all of these various forms in microcosmic and macrocosmic fashion so to speak and that can sometimes be difficult to understand. Any other questions? Question: I had one more question on that same topic. So then is it possible for your soul who is stuck here as a ghost we'll say, is it possible for you to reincarnate while there is some part of you stuck someplace else? MEntity: Yes. Your Essence is a vast energy source. And, all of the lifetimes and all of the parallel versions of one lifetime, all of the concurrents which are when you incarnating in multiple bodies on the planet as well as your past and future lifetime, all only take what would be the equivalent of approximately 1% of the focus for your Essence. All of those combined. So that gives you some indication of the vastness of your Essence and why it can manage so many variations of itself and allow for the personalities to evolve on their own time frame in a way that does not interfere with those because its got its own higher perspective. Question: See I knew that, but I think what's new is the separation of the two terms essence and soul. I always thought of them as being synonymous. And also of the concept of the personality outliving the body... that's new, right? MEntity: Yes, we would suggest not being hung up on Soul versus Essence terminology. We only offered that as one way of differentiating between that which is involved in the activation of the personality versus that which created it. But if it helps you to keep things clearer, then keeping with our terminology, it is not amiss to describe it as a fragment of your Essence or as you put it, the personality exceeds the body. Those would be accurate ways of describing it as well. The term Soul can be interchanged with the term Essence but it's a highly charged word so we usually don't usually use it. Question from the chat room: So what is taking place in the time of waiting for the level to complete with the personalities? MEntity: Well, we would like to remind you that time outside of the physical plane is a little bit different in its experience and becomes even more relevant to the individuals personalities perception. Time has an emotional factor. It is an emotional experience therefore the Astral plane where you go in between lives or more accurately we would say you focus between lives is an emotional plane. And therefore, because that becomes the basis of experience, time is extremely flexible and those who are in between lives and the personalities who are "waiting" do not have the same perception of time while you are waiting on the physical plane. So the lifetime, we will give the example that is completely random, randomly chosen, the lifetime that might have been stuck at the 3rd Internal Monad and died will go through its process and contribute to the overall evolution of the Essence. But once its done and by done we mean has had its own version of a realization it can do whatever it wants. And so the personality can realize it has a completely new world with which to create life and it literally lives out another life or as many as it wants on the astral plane. These are purely, for lack of a better term, entertainment or novelty lifetimes in the sense that they do not contribute a great amount of evolution to the Essence. Because once the realization is there that anything can be created in the astral plane which is very malleable and emotions and your thoughts manifest much quicker, then the process is not met with much challenge. So for instance, if there was a part of you that thought you were going to burn in hell when it died, it will burn in hell as long as it thinks it's supposed to and then it will eventually realize that that's not necessary. And on the other side of what that personality though it was suppose to experience relative to where it evolved within the lifetime, it will then be greeted by those fragments who are familiar to it and oriented toward the astral plane so that it then can enjoy itself while it waits. Question: so it's like a really fun waiting room? MEntity: Yes, but not quite. We caution on too much emphasis on the term "wait" because the experience is not one of waiting. It is not quite that experience of time that you perceive it to be from here. But it's process of waiting can give it the opportunity to explore many different ideas and creative endeavors and eventually find an interest in its own origins and its own part in the process of Essence's evolution and becomes integrated eventually. The personality that ends up fulfilling the 7th Internal Monad and all of them within the single lifetime does not have that same "waiting period" because its lifetime became that same process that the others did post lifetime. Because the more consciousness that you bring to your physical plane experiences and to your creation of your lifetime the more Essence is involved and that level of integration of consciousness within the lifetime, having the physical lifetime be the meeting ground between the tangible and the intangible or the personality and the Essence, is the same process that all the other personalities had to go through while they waited while that final personality in that soul age level did it within the lifetime. Question: I have a question. So if, let's say you're at, I mean you're at your soul age and your soul level and in a lifetime does that, goes all the way through, the next lifetime will that also go all the way through or does it automatically bump you up to the next level? MEntity: Re-ask your question. Question: Sorry, so let's say my last, we'll use me, let's say my last lifetime went through all the way and the seamstress completed the 7th Internal Monad. So this lifetime, the one after that, would I also then complete all the way through the 7th level or 7th Internal Monad because she did or... MEntity: Not if it's the first lifetime of the next level... Question: But what if it's not? Well I mean it is for me. MEntity: Once you have had one personality transit all of the 7 Internal Monads successfully, any subsequent lifetime can then do so if it focuses on the perspective of that same soul age level. So while someone may have completed the 7th Internal Monad and completed the 3rd level of the Old Soul age the following lifetime can then focus and more easily accomplish all of those 7 Internal MOnads if the lifetime remains with a perspective of the 3rd level of the Soul age. Even though technically, it is 4th level Old Soul at that point. And that is how the concept of manifesting soul age has come into play. Question: So, if I, since she finished early I think intuitively that because of having connection with her regarding her death I think that she would have completed the 7th Internal Monad and since I had the ability to transfer from the 3rd level to the 4th level this lifetime then I'm thinking she must have. So, if I focus on the 3rd level then I would more easily complete the 7th Internal Monad but if I focus on the 4th level, because I am on the 4th level, then I probably wont? Or do I still have the ability to do that? MEntity: You can knock out so to speak all of the 7 Internal Monads in one lifetime or one level. There is no rule to it and they do become easier with more experience although each lifetime is isolated to what that personality decides or develops into its capacity for processing those rites of passages and they can always be thrown off and get stuck but you could go through all 7 Internal Monads multiple times during one soul age level if you chose to do so. But as your soul ages, the amount of times or the amount of lifetimes it takes to transit a soul age level exponentially becomes less. Question: Could it be one? MEntity: Yes. Question: Or half of one? MEntity: Yes it can. For the most part there are at least on average 7 lifetimes per level your particular Cadre or Energy Ring is not average and we do not say that as a compliment but we say that as a matter of statistics. Another layer that may be of interest in the process of evolution in the lifetimes, the end of each lifetime and the process afterward, is that each of the levels, or rather each of the soul ages, is a process of developing a certain kind of relationship with your Essence. And so, for instance, the entire process of the infant soul age, is a process of developing an instinctive relationship with your Essence. It is a process of developing your instinctive center to a degree that it holds as much experience and memory and wisdom as possible between lifetimes. So the entire Infant Soul age is about programming, if you will, the memory disk that will be taken from each lifetime and moved into the next lifetime and built upon. The Baby soul age is entirely about developing a more cohesive union or co-creative relationship your Essence and this is why those who are Baby souls often have that sense of dichotomy with their Essence because they're developing that relationship with their Essence and they will call it God and they will call it angels, they will call it whatever it is that will personify it in a way that develops that communication and communion that part of themselves. And over the process of the Baby soul age, they will eventually grasp that they are the same thing or that they are one but in that process will personify Essence to whatever degree helps to develop a relationship the Essence. The Young soul age is all about the rebellion from that communion or that co-creative process and during the Young soul age the personalities have the most running amock of any of the soul ages because personality is, now that they have been born from the process of realizing that personality is also as valid and powerful if you will as Essence, then it thinks it can do everything on its own and doesn't need that sense of Essence or that sense of soul. And so during the Young soul phase, the personalities reject Essence more often than not and dive right into the physical plane and try to get as much out of it on their own as a means to prove that they are just as much powerful and valid as they have discovered Essence is. Over time however, the difference personalities that are a part of that Young soul age begin to realize that the materials to work with on the physical plane are quite limiting and that is the nature of the physical plane. And while certain things can be attained physically on the physical plane such as money and wealth and fame and fortune and physical stimulation, it is limited to the physical plane and it does not carry forward to any great degree of satisfaction beyond the physical plane. And that is the process of realizing that there is more to life than the physical plane and then it is a process of developing an emotional relationship with your Essence or an intimacy with your Essence. Where the Baby soul age is about the recognition of the validation of Essence or the soul if you will, the Mature soul age is about the intimacy that develops from that and the emphasis becomes more about co-creative process and working with your Essence to create the lifetime. And the emphasis becomes more about what will be carried forward from the lifetime rather than what will be left behind. Your cars and your cash will be left behind but your relationships will not for instance. The Old soul age then is about the expression of your Essence into the physical plane. It is no longer about the co-creative process. It is no longer about the communion process. It is no longer about accomplishing. But it is about actually being your Essence or being your soul while here. And so, the emphasis turns towards spirituality and a very profound process of manifesting more of who you are outside of the physical plane here and bringing that consciousness to the process than it is about just living. Because your Essence is basically just blind, has no feeling, has no capacity of experiencing the physical plane without the personalities, so overall of those lifetimes it eventually gets invited in a way that is quite profound during the Old soul age. And then, you're faced with the paradox of your Essence of finally being manifested in a way that gets to experience the physical plane fully while the personality craves going home or the integration process that will eventually occur and that wil why so many old souls tend to feel tire or bored with the physical plane or not as fulfilled by it and not as interested in it because it knows there is so much more beyond it. While your Essence is, forgive the pun, thrilled to death that it is able to experience the physical plane so fully. Any other questions regarding... Question: Well XXX and I had a lot of conversation about that TV show that he watched where everybody saw the white light and then people and loved one and stuff like that, so what is your perception or your take on what happens? Do you see loved ones? Are they manifestation of those people coming to greet you or are they just aspects of yourself that shows you what you think you want to see or expect to see? Like the person going to hell, goes to hell. You know, I think that I probably will see other lifetimes waiting to greet me. So, will that be what I'll see because that's what I think I'll see? MEntity: Those who truly die are not always "greeted" on the other side because part of the process of dying includes going through what that individual expected to go through. And not very often does the personality know what to expect or it has become so programmed in what to expect that there is no room for greetings on the other side. But those who have near death experiences quite often have their support groups on the other side because the lifetime is not over and the process is one of escorting if you will the consciousness back to the body in a way that is either part of that life's plans so that it affects the life in a way that gets built upon or just happens to be something that the personality experienced and becomes a part of its experience. So, whether there are those loved ones or fragments of the self, other personalities that you've been on the other side waiting to greet you, the potential is always there for that but it is not consistent and it is always dependent on the personality. Those who return however are quite often greeted because they are not there to experience their afterlife. They are there to be returned. Question: So everybody tends to see what they think they're going to see with their interpretation of what happens to you after life ends. So if somebody isn't coming back and you really are dying but they think they're going to see that then they see that? MEntity: If by "that" you mean loved ones greeting them ... of course, yes. Most of you who are Old souls when you die don't experience much difference from what you're experiencing just before because the consciousness is to a certain degree that allows the transition to feel as if you've shifted perspective. Because the more you manifest Essence within the lifetime, the less shocking the process of dying is because you will already have been who you are on the other side or the larger part of who you are and so the process is quite simple. And so while you know yourself as XXX and you know yourself in this body, that will be part of transition as simply stepping out of context of living but still having everything familiar quite comfortable but a lot more maleable and you will then you will be greeted by those you might want to see or experience and you will still have a relationship with those who are still on the physical plane even if they're not aware of it. By relationship, we mean that they have a counterpart of themselves that can accommodate you in the afterlife in the way that is familiar to you. That does not mean you have a relationship to the physical version. Chatroom question: So if one had a concurrent at say Mature level 7 and he transited the 7th Internal Monad, as *you* as his concurrent and living would you experience the soul age/level intra-life change? MEntity: You could. Yes. If you have overlapping lifetimes which is not uncommon especially with the older soul ages and one lifetime has progressed to a certain point that could contribute to a concurrent's evolution, it can. Very rarely that capitalized upon because it is very important to each personality to feel as if the progress is its own. What it will do is contribute to the Essence's evolution and depending on the concurrent personality that is still alive and its relationship to that Essence, it can pull that in as part of its influence in the lifetime but it is not imposed or suddenly realized in the lifetime. We'll pause for a moment... What we'll talk about next then is how to apply this information that might be useful at some point. To return to a question that was asked earlier about whether one lifetime can be transited as a soul level because all of the internal monads were processed, we would like to add that for the most part, the 1st three internal monads are quite often processed fairly easily and quickly for the older soul. And if there is any point to which it is stuck which extends the need for multiple lifetimes for a level it is at the 3rd rather the 4th or 5th internal monads. It is not uncommon for some fragments to be stuck at the 4th Internal Monad for several lifetimes before they are able to move on. Question: If I could ask you a question that is the reverse of XXX's before you move on. What I was told by a channel who wasn't a Michael channel that my last lifetime was that I died as a young boy in France during WWII. Let's say hypothetically true because I can't validate it, I obviously would have died at the 2nd monad/3rd monad and obviously I haven't transited all my monads when I came into this life so how affect me starting ?into a new lifetime not having completed all the monads in the last lifetime? MEntity: As with most of existence, there are no hard set rules to the process. There are only consistencies and general guidelines and so we cannot say because that happened here is what happened but we can say that the death of a personality early in its lifetime can mean multiple things. It can mean it simply died and yes it did not have a chance to go through many internal monads but this has no bearing on where it had reached in the previous lifetimes even if it were 2 or 3 lifetimes previous to that. If any lifetime previous to that reached or processed an internal monad up to for instance a 6th Internal Monad then if the 3 subsequent lifetimes died early it has no bearing on the following lifetime that may have then lived to go through all 7 Internal Monads. It will not set you back in other words. The life must be, or the personality, the physical body must be alive 7 years for it to have a personality that needs to go through any processing. So any lifetime or any personality that dies before the age of 7, we say this as a general number, its integrated almost immediately with Essence because it did not get to a stage of autonomy. It did not get to a stage of completion of that 2nd Internal Monad for that lifetime. And, it takes up to 7 years for your Essence to even become a part of that personality because it takes at least 7 years for the consciousness to develop a way that can connect to that Essence more directly. The other reasons why it can be because the 7th Internal Monad was not processed and despite the fact that the physical body did not have a linear progression through the rites of passage. If the body is born long enough and has a consciousness and dies, that short life can be specifically to process the 7th Internal Monad. Question: Does that often lead to a walk-in? MEntity: No, if we understand you question correctly, no. Question: My question was if a lifetime was created just for the completion of the 7th Internal Monad would another soul walk in? MEntity: If the body did not die, because with the 7th Internal Monad now it gets a little complicated because there are different arcs of the internal monads that get processed. There is the Essence level, the process of moving through your soul age level and then there is the individual process that happens for each personality. And so, the 7th Internal Monad that was necessary for the Essence to evolve can happen within a lifetime without the body dying. And at that point, yes, the Essence can withdraw from the lifetime and another Essence walk in to take over that physical body. We realize all of this sounds quite creative. Question: Isn't that what it's all about? MEntity: We would agree. so, to answer your question, no it does not necessarily lead to a walk-in situation but if the body or the personality generated would like to stay alive it can take on another Essence for the remainder of that lifetime. By all intents and purposes, it would be a separate person. It would be a different person altogether even if the body were the same. Walk-ins only make up less than 5% of incarnations so it is not quite that common on a cosmic scale. Well, we gave that number as a peak number at any given time it's never more than 5% of incarnations that are occurring. Now what we would suggest for you as far as applying this information if you choose to do so is that in your day to day living it is helpful for you to work on the manifestation of your Essence or the realization that you have an Essence and to explore that concept and to bring that into your day to day functioning in a way that matters to you. You cannot help but be your Essence in a lifetime because that is who you are to some extent whether you reject it or not. But the more you embrace it and the more conscious you become of it, the more tap into resources that are available to you reject the concept of having an Essence. Question: Resources such as? MEntity: Energy, enthusiasm, creativity to name a few. Embracing your Essence means you allow or create opportunities in your life to shine. And by shine, that is the moment where you feel as if you are fully being who you are. Manifesting Essence does not mean that you live everyday as a soul or an Essence with some notion that because you are immortal you can do whatever you want and not suffer the consequences of the physical plane. That is not what we mean by manifesting Essence. Manifesting Essence or your Essence role means creating or allowing moments in your life that may last for great lengths of time or may last for short periods of time where you are exactly who you think you are everything you aspire to be. And those are the moments you are manifesting Essence. It also shows up when you are in any moment for a short period or length of time liking the life that you are living. And sometimes, there are conditions within the life that make it less likeable. But, liking the life does not mean settling with the life. It mean understanding your place in that larger pattern that is your life and knowing that you can navigate it in some way that can create or allow more than what you have or what you like at the moment. So, liking it is not a conclusive state but a process and liking who you are. So to that degree, knowing this information and being able to let the life... the process of bringing more of your consciousness into the experience of physical plane in your life and applying that creatively and using it as a form of navigation for the life and manifesting more of who you are in a way that you like makes the process of dying much more comfortable than if you hate the life, do not like who you are, and feel stuck or trapped. Those particular states within the lifetime are the most difficult or some of the most difficult to process upon death. And so, bringing more of you into the life or more of your Essence into the life is a way of making death more livelier if you will. For those time of when you know of someone who is dying, it can be a direct or indirect form of support if you know anything about that individual's life and where he or she may have come to in his or her process in internal monads. It can help you to psychically or emotionally or even directly help that fragment or that personality in its transition. And, this will not what time you make this realization. If this is somebody from your past, you can actually contribute to their process of transition by offering insight, offering support, remembering that loved one in loving ways and this contributes to their own personal process of evolution. It's not limited by time. If you know someone had difficulty getting beyond their rebellious stage for instance then it might be someone who is also going to go through that in the afterlife. Then if this is something that you know or sense, you can use your imagination as a tool and is not something that just generates fantasies but is actually a tool, an effective tool, can be used to imagine yourself helping this person realize that he or she does not have to burn in hell for instance or suffer beyond the lifetime. If you know of someone who is at least to the point where they have faced the prospect of death and have realized that there is a mortality, you can help in the transition by not holding on to that one version of that person after he or she has died. You can help contribute to their evolution by allowing them to "go" while still missing them or loving them or craving them. But if you are locked onto them in a way that keeps them focused on you and your comfort, it's very difficult to focus on their own process. And so assuring them that you're ok and assuring them that you understand goes to great lengths to contributing to their evolution and their process. So those are the 2 most applicable way we think you could use this information in any way that might be symbolically helpful to you. Though we think it goes beyond symbolic. Being who you are and finding and creating those moments you can be that and letting go of those who have passed while still loving them. Those 2 things quite simple and to some of you, obvious, but very powerful. Question: I'm not sure how this really applies but would holding onto something after it dies, would that affect them continuing on? MEntity: No. There is absolutely no effect... the truth is there is absolutely no effect between you and a deceased animal and between you and a deceased human or sentient, fellow sentient being. When we suggested letting go of an individual who has passed, it is not because of your not letting go hinders the fragment but that personality who has died will more than likely tend to your needs and stick around as a form of support rather than focus on its own process. Not because it has to but because it might want to. And so, you're letting go contributes to the process of their evolution but you're not letting go doesn't hinder it if this is clearer. when it comes to animals that you have become close to, and their passing, because it is a completely different dynamic of consciousness, there is no personality involved that extends beyond the animal itself. There is a consciousness that represents the animal but it is not defined in the way that sentient consciousness has personalities. You may see personalities in your animals because they do personify various overleaves. For instance, a dog will not have a complex personality but may have embodied an Attitude or may have embodied a Mode or may have embodied a Goal depending on its breed. And so, it could be said that animals are made up of one or two of what could be called overleaves so there is not the same template that carries forward as it is quickly absorbed back into the hive soul. And while you as an individual can recognize the consciousness of the animal and still see and interpret a personality from that it is in no way a relationship that is hindered or affected by your hanging onto or letting go. Any other questions regarding this subject? Question: I have a question. For example, my mother died quite young and it seems like she always shows up when I'm with a medium or a channeling session with a medium, my mother always shows up. It seems like she likes to hang around me alot. So I was wondering, if you die in your 40's and you haven't incurred all of your monads would you possibly hang around a child for unfinished business like as oppose to my grandmother who never shows up but she completed all her monads. She died very old. She never shows up. MEntity: Yes, as part of the process of an internal monad, depending on where the individual was in their death, part of that process can be working through emotional elements, not physical ones and not anything relative to the physical plane. Anything that is on an emotional level can be done without bodies and therefore the personality despite of it not having a body can "hang around" and still have an emotional exchange with you. Because, even while you are here physical, every time you sleep, you free yourself and more of your consciousness to astral plane and therefore can work things out in dream state or even if you're conscious in your daily life and you have a rich emotional life it can be the meeting ground for non-physical relationships. If that were not the case, you would not be able to have guides and you would not be able to have the sort of non-physical support each of you do have in every lifetime whether you are aware of it or not. Question: So it made no difference then that she didn't finish all of her monads essentially because if you can have the same relationship with guides as well as a parent it wouldn't have mattered what point she died right? MEntity: Mattered in what sense. Question: The fact that we still have this relationship... nonphysical... MEntity: Yes, relationships can continue after death if the individual such as yourself is open to that and it's a mutual relationship. Sometimes what can happen is that the person who is left behind so to speak in a physical body can stay attached to their idea of the individual who has died and while that individual my have continued evolving and even be in another life, a counterpart or what we'll call a counterpart representative of that other individual can still focus on having a relationship with you for your sake. Because, as we said earlier, it does not take much to generate these personalities and variations of focus. Does this answer your question? Question: Yes. MEntity: To extend upon that, the relationship may not be working on anything but simply being there as a form of support a general form of opportunity for you to evolve your perception of that individual as well. Because, the individual who died within your lifetime died at a certain point in your lifetime that had a certain perspective of that person. That same vision so to speak of that individual will look different in 10 to 15 to 20 years. And so, in 20 years your relationship to what you may remember as your mother may evolve and have worked out issues related to that individual. And so, a counterpart or a version of your mother can still be in a relationship with you even though its non-physical for that reason. Which mean, you can talk to those personalities, you can exchange information. And while you may dismiss it and your imagination or creative thinking it can still be helpful to you in working things out. There is much more to say about this topic and we've touched on it in a rather roundabout way because we did not have a clear subject posed to us by Troy so we just dove in with what seemed the most relevant for this layer of information about this topic but we can be asked again in a different way and reveal more details or more layers that may be of interest to you. We think we have time for one round of personal questions if you choose to use that time. We will do our best to respond and so you may begin with those if there are any. Question: So, I've touched upon this before last time we talked about my job making me really bitchy and aggravated all the time and it's really affected me so strongly. I did take, I heard strongly what you said about, it doesn't have to be. I don't have to commit to it for the rest of my life and so the option for change is there. Its kind of freed me up a little bit. It's gotten a little less horrible for me. But I have noticed that I'm a little uncomfortably jaded I guess maybe and I kind of want back that feeling of, I don't know... it sounds so stupid, sort of like that youthful feeling that everything is going to be ok. It's not that I don't think everything is going to be ok because I do. I'm just a little bitchy about it. It feels so oddly uncomfortable to me and there's got to be some sentence that I can tell myself or remind myself that lets that edge off. Because I keep saying, I should start drinking or something. I gotta do something to take the edge off. I feel like I'm so close and that I want to tip it over and make that extra little bit be back to my usually happy self. I miss that person and I feel like she's withered and died... people stepped on her like gum. I don't know how to ask it. I'm looking for something I can do for myself as a reminder that's going to help click something in my brain or my body or my soul or my Essence or my something... MEntity: Our response to that is a very simple response and that would be to do something more for yourself. And by this we mean, to point out that any you who develop a routine that becomes so entrenching that you've lost your sense of self often you only need to throw a wrench in the works by doing something different by bringing you back to yourself. By that we mean, do not think that your commitment to these routines is a condemnation but first to recognize it is a choice and there is a payoff in that choice that is benefiting you to some degree. But what you would want to do to add to the ingredients of your day to day life is to add something more to compliment it and by that we mean, to do something different with the time that is yours and not your company's. Question: I'm so exhausted by the end of the day I can barely get home. MEntity: Your exhaustion is relative to your lack of doing something more for yourself. It is not just because of the routine. It is because you are not doing more that rejuvenates you. What you need is rejuvenation, not rest. What you would want to do is decide in your month ahead, in your next 30 days for an example, where on your calendar and time frames you can plan and do something that is a gift for yourself or a time that is rejuvenating or doing things that you have decided are rejuvenating. And what you will find, even with an hour of something that is rejuvenating and is your choice can zero out the exhaustion from eight hours of routine. So the irony here is that in your doing so much that you don't like you simple need to do more of what you do like. Question: so I can just start out by doing just one thing a week... MEntity: Yes, but we would say not something that needs to be on a weekly basis but can even be on a monthly basis and even just looking forward to it can negate a great deal of the exhaustion knowing that you have a treat... Question: I have been looking forward to going home to visit my parents and I have felt pretty good this whole because of the excitement about going... MEntity: Rejuvenation returns you to your enthusiasm and your enthusiasm returns you to your Essence and having more of your Essence present is what's considered what you've described as your "youthful, happy-go-lucky self" where everything is ok and so the 1st step then is that rejuvenation. Next question... Question: I have a question. So I a guy named Leo and we've seemed to hit it off and I wanted to know if we have any agreements between each other? MEntity: No. This appears to be one that you would have to generate those agreements after more time together but no pre-existing agreements appear to have been brought to the relationship. Having a lack of pre-agreements does not mean having a lack of capacity for making agreements and so that will be up to you what you do with this relationship. Question: It's interesting that you brought up about trying to live more and asking to bring Essence through and so what I've been really working on this last year is... I have a post-it note of a comment that Michael made and it must have been another chat or another channeling session where you said that old souls live through their body and experience joy and so on... it's still tough for me to embrace Essence. I'm hoping that I will get comfortable enough in my own skin that I may investigate a mate agreement before my last monad. So my question is, do I have any mate agreements in New York City? MEntity: Yes, you do. First we will back up to say that in your process of liking who you are is a reflection of embracing more of your Essence or bringing more of your Essence into the personality and the lifetime and manifesting your true personality. Some of this is relative to physical conditions that you've placed on whether you like yourself or not and we bring this up so that it is not attached those particular things if you can identify them. But that the true manifestation of your Essence, in a way that would be consistent, would have no attachments to conditions and so we bring this up so all of you can add to what were were saying earlier, that manifesting your Essence and being more of who you are, creating or finding those opportunities to shine are ok to have conditions in place for but the less conditions in place, the more consistent the experience of liking who you are. For example, some of you only like yourselves if a lot of people give you feedback that they like you. And this makes you like yourself more... we're speaking generally at this point as an example. That is a valid process in returning you to liking who you are and to expose you to the experience of liking who you are but if it is only dependent on the conditions that others continually feedback that they like you then the consistency of liking yourself is lost. Does this make sense? So your 3 mate agreements appear to be: 1) a Sage who appears to be... our records depend upon many factors in updating for fragments who are still incarnating so we will do the best we can so that there is a validation.... and we will say that this fragment appears to be living on the upper east side currently and one of the validation factors is a nostalgia or a current passion for baseball 2) The other appears to be a Server who is not actively working but aspiring to work in the alternative medicine or healing field. The validation factor for this individual might be a scar that may indicate the removal of an appendix or surgery of some sort but it appears to be on the left side of the body. There is a story that goes with it that is relative to something that got botched 3) And the 3rd agreement looks to be an Artisan. This one, comes with it, some turbulence in getting to know each other so that would be one validation factor. The Artisan... the validation factor... and we don't know why this is a part of the process but is quite offensive at first and has a proud interest in ceramics that have been made that find unappealing and that might be the way you validate that mate agreement. Are there any other questions? Question: I have a quick question. I hope it will be either a yes or no. Did XXX, did I hear her or was that just my imagination or was I dreaming, after she died? MEntity: This appears to have been a valid experience. Your hearing is one of your senses that can get amped to include ranges that would be considered to be physical and... Question: My hearing or one's hearing in general? MEntity: One's hearing in general but we're speaking about you right now so that you hear things that others cannot that have a more subtle range that could be picked up on devices that may or may not be in existence at this time. No, these are not cloaked sounds we are speaking of. If there are no other questions then we will conclude here and say goodbye.
  6. April 1, 2004 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS (Online) [Michael_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the requested energy report. As has been explained in previous reports, this period of time will now begin to emphasize the energy described in terms of the “mode” for the year. In this case, it would be PASSION/RESERVE. Over the next three months or so we can see quite a chaotic pattern forming among humans, especially on an emotional level. Many of you who are older souls have already begun to sense this. The emotional climate of the planet will be more chaotic than usual because of the difficulty in reconciling Passion with the Goal of Re-evaluation; combining those energies with the energy of the Sage you will either find profound fun and wisdom in the year ahead, or high drama and high intensity. April through June may bring disorientation and feelings of being “out of synch”, with bouts of overreaction and/or repression. Most of our students will be finding this time as one that will uncover passions that have been repressed. In general, this is a year of revisiting agenda and intentions that have easily been overlooked in years passed. This will mean that an emphasis may come on all the “little things” that have not been experienced or passed over because of more pressing or “important” agenda. Over the next few weeks then, some of you may also uncover the resentment behind your “little things” you are finally doing for yourself. This may easily “throw you off” because it will be old energy being surfaced, much of it having been stored in you from quite early in this life. This may cause a period of non-specific depression or oddly-timed emotional bouts of release. It will be easy for you to assume our report to be a negative report, but this is not the case at all. Beyond the surface of these resentments, repression, and realizations will be the freeing of parts of you that have lacked permission to participate in this life for a long time. And we remind you that these “parts of you” are NOT obviously profound areas. For instance, it may “seem silly” that you finally take time to get a manicure and would really like to have one on a regular basis. It is not the act of having the manicure that is the issue. For each of you this act would mean something different. For some it might be a simple event that makes your body feel included in your appreciation of beauty. For some it may be about the freedom to spend those few extra dollars without judgment. For others it may be the socializing aspect that may come with the experience. The bottom line will be in whether this “little thing” encourages your feeling happy, nurtured, free, at peace, etc. We suggest reminding yourselves occasionally over the next several weeks that it is “naturally” an awkward time energetically. You may find you are clumsier, more forgetful, with electronics, databases, and appliances malfunctioning sporadically and your inner senses feeling less focused. We further suggest you remind yourselves of these three questions: Will/Does it help me be FREE? Will/Does it help me be HAPPY? Will/Does it help me be INSPIRED? If you remember to ask these specific questions of yourself when you might normally dismiss a “little thing” in your life, then you may find your energy remaining more balanced. Having a focus and a permission to experience these “little things” will return you to a greater sense synchronicity during this time of re-evaluation. You cannot keep all unpleasant life experiences from happening, and we realize there will always be larger issues, but you can manage to weave your energy throughout your life on a level that will adapt to fluctuations and growth. We will take your questions now. Q&A on E-REPORT [mdfsage] What can we do for folks who are caught up in depression, physical pain, pulling back during this period? [Michael_Entity] Depression is inwardly-directed anger. It is a lack of self-permission to feel or express that anger, and the anger is usually rooted in a lack of permission to experience a basic Right. During the next month or so, it may be a healthy opportunity to gently encourage steps toward some basic Rights one might have deemed “wrong” to pursue or allow. In terms of physical pain, this would require a more specific look at the individual. For people who may be linking depression, physical pain, and “pulling back”, all together during this time, it can be most helpful to ask the individual what he/she wants/needs. This may not be an easy question to answer. It may be of help for you to keep in mind the 7 Basic Rights of any Sentient Being. If you can help bring the experience of that Right to a person who has resisted it, then healing can be profound and quick. Troy will include the details in your transcript. EXCERPT about “RIGHTS”: As you explore your conscious connection to Essence, you will also be heightening your sense of self as a Personality. As you explore your sense of self as a person, you will make more room for Essence in your life. It is a two way street, so to speak. In exploring yourself on either level, it is important to examine your “rights” as a physical being and your expression of those “rights” and/or the damage or interference to those “rights”. For each chakra, or Center, there is a basic “right” that the Personality must have tended to fully embody the Essence. We say “embody” as a convenience, as it is actually the opposite. YOU as Personality are embodied in Essence. You most basic “right”, relating to the Instinctive Center, is your right to exist, or be alive at all. The Right to be Real. This can also be said to be your right to “have”. Your second Center/chakra must be examined in terms of your Right to Feel, experience intimacy, and create. Your third chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to take action, or to make change. Another way to put it is your right to be free. Your fourth chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to be loved, and to love. Your throat chakra, or 5th Center, is your right to the truth, whether speaking it, or hearing it. Your 6th chakra/Center can be examined in terms of your right to perceive, to have vision. This can also be said to be your right to dream, on all levels. And finally, your 7th chakra/Center is your examination of your right to spirituality, or your right to “inner knowledge”. Though we skimmed these, the slightest examination of these areas of your life can be revealing in what Centers/Chakras are not being cared for or possibly denied, thus blocking Essence. They may have also been damaged or imprinted with allowances from other fragments in the life. The three “lower centers” (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are all the most obvious and easily examined on a daily basis. They are the keys to balancing Personality. In fact, these centers can potentially be examined with a degree of accuracy, at least as a starting point, in your translating your personal Centering in your Overleaves. When looking at your Centering it might be said that your primary centering is the Right you SUSTAIN, while the PART of the centering is the Right you “FIGHT FOR”. We remind you that Emotional Centering is your right to feel, Intellectual Centering is your right to speak or hear truth, and Moving is your right to act out or make change. The Instinctive Center is always under examination and use so it is almost always in some form of distortion when without conscious guidance. This is balanced through creating a daily balance among your “lower centers”. The “higher centers” (2nd, 6th, and 7th) are keys to your understanding your connection to Essence. With examination, if any of these centers appear to be limited or distorted through fear or imprinting, it will be your task to incorporate experiences which fulfill that level of your rights, if you choose. END EXCERPT [SilverOne126] Does the feeling of unease (and general frustration) I’ve been sensing in others at work have to do with the build up to this shifting and complex energy period? How long may it continue? [Michael_Entity] It does appear to be linked. There is a general sense of things being extreme, with some hours feeling free and happy, followed by a sense of near-comatose sedation, followed by an unfounded want to cry. We only used those extremes as examples, but there may be many extremes experienced. This passionate, untamed energy is escalating and appears to be “stirring” more into April and part of May. Mid-may will most likely be a shift into more clarity, communication, and stability in the emotions. Old and Late Mature Souls will most likely begin feeling a bit more balanced toward the end of April. We remind you that all of this is uneasy energy is an opportunity to do “good work” in terms of uncovering outdated modes, beliefs, behavior patterns, dismissals, etc. Although appearing chaotic, this energy is prevalent because it is apparently necessary for human growth right now. Frustration will experienced as a by-product of denial. Those who are not making the moments to do those “silly things” may be more likely to have bouts of frustration and disorientation throughout their days. This is not a period of time to be overly concerned with controlling time or space. Those with Impatience and Martyrdom, if severely ruled by these Chief Features, may have the most difficult challenges in remaining calm. In fact, over the next three months one may find those with Impatience and Martyrdom being louder, more demanding, and more exasperated (and exasperating) than ever. For those with Impatience and Martyrdom, we would merely suggest that the next few months are a time where one can “safely” “kick up her heels” and occasionally state, “What the hell…” Let people Be, and let yourself Be. [upstate] like painting a lizard on your wall! [Michael_Entity] And to Lori, yes. If seeing that totem will benefit your space, internally or externally, then it may be time to say, “what the hell…” [Anla899] How do we deal with the fear of doing the “silly things’ like spending too much money? [Michael_Entity] Of course, we do not suggest you jeopardize your physical existence, but if you are remotely capable of gifting yourself or another through the means of money, then the experience will “pay for itself”. Your question does bring to light a very important factor in doing these “little things”: This is your time to experience those things, but some of you may easily use these events as a way to further convince yourself to remain constrained. In other words, you may decide to spend “too much money” and then feel the negative impact, “proving” to yourself that you are not free. We are not saying NOT to “spend too much money”, nor are we saying to be too practical, but we are suggesting that you wholeheartedly do whatever you decide and then be at peace with that decision. The point will be that you ENJOY IT. As a matter of maintaining perspective, most of your little things that you have avoided are not elaborate, complicated, or expensive. They are “little things”. If you are worried about spending too much money of a “little thing”, you may be missing the point. We certainly do not intend to encourage all of you to succumb to periods of chaos within the chaos, but we do state that there is a lack of order right now that can allow for many “little things” to be “fit in” to your days. As a side note: We have noticed that several of our students are feeling a rekindled inspiration to write, sing, paint, or otherwise express themselves. [H2OSprtlvr] When you give an energy report via Troy, is it specific to the members in attendance or for people on the East Coast or everyone worldwide? I ask only because some Michael channelers seem to give energy reports based on the region they reside in. [Michael_Entity] In most cases we interpret the energy in terms of the North American continent. If the channel directs this further we may then interpret more specifically in terms of those in attendance, or a country, or the planet. We are describing our work with Troy, but many of our channels are regularly more specific to a region and to those in attendance. Good night to each of you. We will now conclude.
  7. March 21, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel Chief Features Part One Note from Janet: Although this transcript has 'Part One' in the heading, it does not appear that an additional session on the topic ever occurred. [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the Topic to be what we refer to as the Chief Features. We will discuss, then, the nature of each Chief Feature, their paths of development, how they show up, and how each might be remedied or dismantled. First, it will enhance your understanding of how to deal with a Chief Feature if you understand exactly what it is, in general. We define your Chief Feature as a specific description of one of 7 basic fears that blocks Essence and by extension, blocks the expression of True Personality. Chief Features ARE NOT simply to cause trouble, to challenge you, to “teach you lessons,” to keep Essence from being bored. While these descriptions would be accurate to some degree, the primary function of your Chief Features is TO PROTECT YOU. Chief Features are considered FEARS because they are the part of your Personality that feels the most separated from the life being created, and therefore, by default, creates a dynamic of protection from any of the 7 basic, natural experiences relative to a Chief Feature. Chief Features are not curses, they are not something to fight, they are not something to fear, and they are not something to consider as apart from you any more than you would your clothing. Though your clothing is ultimately unnecessary, it does provide a function for the Physical Plane and wearing clothing can be used for many different reasons. Ultimately, clothing is superficial, irrelevant, and “negative” in that the wearing of clothes is primarily based in Fear. By considering this connection, or analogy, you may see that fear actually SERVES you quite nicely, as long as you are CONSCIOUS in your use of it. Chief Features can be used in ways that serve you until you find no use for them. In the same way that wearing clothing is truly optional, so are Chief Features, and until clothing or a Chief Feature is truly not functional in its use, you WILL continue to enlist their functions. Chief Features are not settled upon as habits until after or during the 3rd Internal Monad, but the use of a Chief Feature is implemented as early as you might be wearing clothing. Before the Age of 7, the Personality is absolutely Chief Feature-Free. By this we mean that the fragment is not capable of truly understanding fear and therefore does not respond from their own perception of events. Through the age of 7, in general, ALL Chief Feature behavior is the funneling of parental or a caretaker’s Chief Feature. Before the approximate age of 7, fear generated as a biological/instinctive reaction is considered practical and there is no real judgment of the process. Between the ages of 7 and 14, approximately, the fragment will then tend to develop an awareness of fear in a new way, and either keep the “inherited” Chief Feature, or develop his or her own. Upon embarking on the 3rd Internal Monad, a Chief Feature will then be “owned” by the Fragment and used for the remainder of time that Fragment “needs” it. We note here that ALL Chief Features are potentially used at varying times, depending on certain situations. Though you find one or two to use habitually, ALL Chief Features are accessible when you deem necessary. Two areas of the life are usually the focus of a Chief Feature, or two Chief Features: the area of Life Plans, and the area of Intimacy, or the Goal and the Mode, respectively. We refer to the Chief Feature that protects you from the experiences needed accomplish your GOAL to be the PRIMARY Chief Feature. We refer to the Chief Feature that protects you from the experiences needed to gain Intimacy in your life as the SECONDARY Chief Feature. A Tertiary Chief Feature IS common among Soul Ages Infant to Young (though it is possible within Mature and Old), and a Tertiary Chief Feature protects a fragment from the experiences needed to develop philosophical structures, or in other words, protects the Attitude from evolving. Chief Features, once used habitually, manifest INTERNALLY or EXTERNALLY, or both. This means that whatever the basic fear is for that Chief Feature you have come to own, you will either attract that behavior to you through others, OR you will express the behavior, yourself. In most cases, both Internal and External methods are used. In many cases, people who have companion animals will find that their pets manifest versions of the Chief Feature as a means for the fragment to process these fears. Companion animals will 9 times out of 10 help the primary caretaker “carry the weight” of a Chief Feature. If your companion animal is sick, ill-behaved, depressed, etc., it can do wonders to consider your own Chief Feature and its remedy as a means to help heal your animal. This is not to say that all illnesses in pets, or behaviors in pets, are an extension of your own Chief Feature, but it is consistent enough to consider a valid first step when looking at treatments and solutions. Each Chief Feature is one of 7 basic fears about something in life that is actually quite empowering to incorporate, but seems to threaten the Body in ways that the Fragment develops a want for protection. When looking at what each Chief Feature is a “fear of,” it will be enlightening to realize that what the fear focuses on is actually a part of life, that once accepted, will transform you in ways that are terrifyingly freeing. Since there is a great deal already published and written about these basic fears, we will stop here and open to your questions due to time constraints. [kathryn41] Does it often happen that when one CF is worked through, that there is no one CF that takes over by preference? Does someone use all of them without favouring one? [M_Entity] Though it is rare, there are some fragments who do not settle on one particular Chief Feature, but these are usually cases of what some call “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder,” “Schizophrenia,” and “Multiple Personalities.” This is due to a breakdown in communication among the Physiological aspects of self (Obsessive-Compulsive), the Emotional aspects of self (Schizophrenia), or Intellectual aspects of self (Multiples). Usually a fragment will use their two Chief Features for the entirety of the life, while using the rest when specifically needed. [kathryn41] So usually one CF is just exchanged for another? [M_Entity] If a fragment begins to use a different Chief Feature habitually, the previous one it is replacing would then fall into the more situational need. [ClaireN] Please explain how the fears threaten the body. [M_Entity] The 7 fears are of EXPOSURE (Inadequacy/Vulnerability), HAVING (Too much, Too little), and CONTROL (of Space/Time). And of course, the Fear of Change, which links them all. When looking at the fears as being on these Axes, you can see how the Body may develop needs for protection. For instance, if a fragment deems he or she is Over Exposed, they may choose Arrogance; if they feel Under Exposed, they may develop Self-deprecation. This Over or Under Exposure can be felt in any of the basic bodies, as in Emotionally, Physically, or Intellectually. When we say these Fears protect the Body, we include all of the basic levels of the Body. [ludmila] By attracting that behaviour to you, do you mean my friends and associates will usually have the same CF’s as I do? [M_Entity] No. Regardless of a Person’s own Chief Feature, as part of your own, you may attract or extract that kind of behavior from another. To clarify: A person who has Arrogance will either BE judgmental, have high standards, show no need for others, AND/OR find that others are judgmental toward him or her, act as if the one in Arrogance is not needed, etc. Those who express Arrogance toward the Fragment who actually has Arrogance as a Chief Feature may or may not have that Chief Feature as one of his or her own. The same can be said of yourself; there are certain behaviors you find coming out of you when around certain people that are NOT your normal reactions in general. Do you understand? [ludmila] Yes, thank you. [M_Entity] We will, however, state that most of your closer relationships tend to be based in shared fears. When the fear of another is not understood, this usually creates distance or repulsion. [JNelson] Does the primary chief feature have to be stronger in influence than the secondary? Because I see my secondary show up much more commonly than my primary. [M_Entity] No, we only call the Primary as a means to differentiate. Each will show up as strongly as you need them, in their own contexts. If you find that your Secondary shows up more, it simply means you are more inclined to protect yourself from the perils of Intimacy. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here. We will continue our discussion of this topic when asked, in a later exchange. Good Night.
  8. MICHAEL SPEAKS LIVE CHAT Open Floor December 22, 2013 Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] We will begin with Royce, then. [royce] Hi michael, I have a question concerning OBJECTIVE art ( as stated by gurdjieff and OSHO) vs. Subjective art. What is your description of the differences between them and what centers are utilized? [MEntity] In terms that differentiate the arts as Subjective versus Objective, one is a function of an individual's subconsciousness, various layers of processes, including those that tap into collective consciousness, yet all of which are interpretative and rather metaphorical. Whereas the Objective is utterly its own, standing as itself, with or without meaning, metaphor, and relevance. When the Subjective is referred to as "soulless," it was not intended to mean "less than," but more to represent the perspective of Personality, the temporal. That art which is Objective is of Essence, or at least, of the Personality that is awake. Subjective art represents something. Objective art represents itself. Most of what passes as "art" is not of Essence, is "soulless," if you will. It is of Personality, and that is about as derogatory as saying that a single lifetime is the result of the choices of Personality, not necessarily those of the soul. All of the Lower Centers are involved when Subjective Art is created. ALL of the Centers are involved when Objective Art is created. [EricM] There's recently been an impromptu discussion on the limited remaining resources of fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal, etc) and what the slow decline in their availability will mean to our civilization. Because our civilization has many of its roots in such fuels, the decline of their availability, and the slow response to this decline, seems to be painting a difficult and relatively grim picture of the future. Can you provide some brief ideas of the future probabilities shaping up around this issue, say within the next 50-100 years, and how society as we know it will be affected? [MEntity] The shift toward the shocking reality of declining fuels is within 5 years. It is not something that can be put off or ignored for much longer. Most alternatives that are in place today are not viable for replacing the scale that depends upon the current resources. It is not a grim reality ahead for most probabilities that we can see, but a definite jolt to most modern societies. The better-case probabilities have leaps in technology, waste management, and the processes that depend upon the current fuels. If the replacement of those fuels are depended upon, then the probabilities are fairly grim, as you put it, but for most, there are innovations in HOW those fuels are used that makes the difference. The capacity for greater storage and extension the life of energy for a number of dependent technologies makes a major impact on the time left for generating alternatives to the fuels that must, eventually, be moved away from. In the process of advancing how energy is stored and used, the alternatives then begin to have far more impact, instead of simply being minor contributors to wasteful and inefficient processes now being used for a dominant, declining resource of energy. [Maureen] Was Nelson Mandela (Warrior-cast Server, Level 6 Old) a Magnetic Server, a Transcendent Old Server (not Transcendental), or “something” else? [MEntity] We do not know what the "something else" might be, but he was the former, yes. [Maureen] a Magnetic Server? [MEntity] Does that answer your question? [Maureen] Yes it does. Thanks Michael [MikeClev] I have a question about young kids' experience of life. I have read that kids have imaginary friends (my eldest does) and that some may even remember and describe past lives, and that this fades as they grow up. Sometimes they may tell us about things they see that we can't see. What are kids really experiencing? Is it all about getting parents' attention? [MEntity] It cannot be said that imaginary friends are all about getting parents' attention, though it can be for some, of course. In that case, there tends to be behavior issues that accompany the imagination that speak to the needs of the child and what is of necessity to address. Simply sharing with excitement one's imaginary friend is not an indication of anything other than that excitement to share. For most children, the imaginary friends are a mix of the guides and one's own Essence. This can bring up access to Personalities in the history of the Essence, which would most likely be described as scenarios, not necessarily as a personality. The imagination comes fully intact for most fragments as children, as this is how the Essence and guides work over time to bond with the body, and this open access can show up in ways that are almost literal in the sense of "invisible friends," to simply being a generated creation that represents any number of things relative to the psyche. Think of children as having one foot in the Astral Plane at all times, so the blur between what is "real" (read: tangible, Physical) versus "imagination" (read: intangible, literal or symbolic) is quite wide. [GeraldineB] Michael, yesterday we received the seven elements that prompted our learning in the Sage year of 2013. Could we have the 7 elements for the upcoming Year of the Priest, 2014? [MEntity] How willing were you to share in the enthusiasm that is expressed and exhibited by others? What responsibility did you take for how you reflect the best of others back to them? What responsibility did you take for what you saw reflected about yourself in others? How willing were you to ask for help? How willing were you to see that another may need help, even if not asked? How much freedom did you allow for others to evolve at their own pace, regardless of your contributions from your own position in your own evolution? How much intimacy did you allow in your life, even with your wounds, your shame? How willing were you to allow the wounding and shame of others into your life that is not your own? (counting as one element here) We may elaborate upon these, of course, but these are fair for guiding one through the higher paths of 2014. [GeraldineB] Thank you -- next Dec we might have some good answers for these :) [ViP1] hello Michael. How would you describe the meaning of the term "conscience", and its applicability (or not) in navigating life? [MEntity] We might equate the term Conscience (as opposed to consciousness) to the sense of responsibility one evolves over lifetimes. The greater the conscience, the greater one owns his or her part in the equation of responsibility. This begins with one's self, of course, starting with the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies, and then extending into the responsibilities one would have for the impact of one's choices and actions on others. This sense of responsibility, or Conscience, then would expand to recognize that one's choices and actions have consequences that may never be seen, but would still exist, such as they might be seen on the environment, on exploited and abused animals and humans, on the future, and even on Essence. The Older Souls would tend to find Conscience to be the equivalent of Responsibility AND Compassion, then. The evolution of one's Conscience is the evolution of one's move from Anatomic to Atomic. Navigating the life then moves away from self-preservation, fear, and survival, and toward self-awareness, love, and evolution. There are 7 circles of Conscience that one expands through, and we will share that delineation in another gathering. [Janet] Some time ago you spoke about the number 12 in relation to creation and merging of parallels and energy rings and even universes. You mentioned “universes stacked in groups of 12 that collapse and expand into one another to rotate out themes”. Someone asked me a question about Grand Cycles the other day and it made me wonder: what's the relation between Grand Cycles and universes? Do there tend to be multiple (or perhaps all) Grand Cycles for a spark within a single universe or are universes created to serve the themes proposed for new Grand Cycles? If a simplistic answer can't be easily obtained within 15 minutes, it's okay to pass on this question and I'll follow up at some future time. [MEntity] Grand Cycles of an Essence are specific to a Universe. All that you know of as "you" is of one Universe, even as it is full of parallels, layers, bubbles, and holes, if you will. A different Universe (in terms being used for this conversation) may have very different patterns and cycles that would be unrecognizable or impossible to convey to the consciousness that is of this Universe. This even goes for the idea of how Universes are stacked. From "this" Universe, they are stacked in blocks of 12, but from a different Universe within that 12, the description may be very different in how it is explained. So the number of Grand Cycles "you" may have noted as part of your exploration of Essence is relative to "this" Universe. [Bobby] It's been about 2.5 years since I asked about Fukushima. Would you be able to give us an update as far as how you see things and perhaps a most likely probability that we could chew on? [MEntity] The most likely probability that we can see is that the effects of this event contribute to a great wave of global unity of effort toward responsibility for the well-being of the species and the planet. There have been waves before, of course, and this will be another. Within the next 5 years, the impact will have most likely have come to rather devastating obviousness, and it will likely draw together some great minds for how to move forward. [Bobby] um, how devastating? [MEntity] We are using that term to describe the response to the effects on foods, water supplies, and local genetics. [Martha] You gave VIP some detailed information recently on the Lunar body type. I’d like the same kind of information on the Venusian body type. time permitting :) [MEntity] That is a response we must put off in consideration of our channel, but we can always be asked again. [Martha] OK, no problem! [MEntity] Good evening to each of you, then. We will conclude here for now.
  9. Michael Speaks Live June 23, 2013 An Expanded Session on the Third Internal Monad Channel: Troy Tolley Hello, Michael. Today, we'd like a "topic level" comprehensive overview about the 3rd Internal Monad. I'd like the topic to include identifying those who are stuck in negative poles of the 3rd IM and suggestions on how to help someone transition into positive poles, both those who accept the teachings and those who don't. Is there any one stage in particular that seems to cause the most trouble? Just as the 4th IM can be somewhat measured by how well the person is learning to like him/herself, is there something key for the 3rd IM person? [MEntity] We will address each of your questions as we cover the topic. [MEntity] Before we go into the specificities of the Third Internal Monad, we will share a brief review of some of the developmental aspects of the Internal Monads, in general. This is not unrelated, and will help shed light on those specifics of the Third Internal Monad. [MEntity] The 7 Internal Monads can be best understood as the "levels" within a Soul Age LEVEL. So, for example, to move from the first Level of a Soul Age to the second Level, these 7 Internal Monads must be successfully completed within at least one lifetime within that Level. [MEntity] As you know, a Soul Age Level is rarely a single lifetime, and are often several lifetimes. The average being about 7 lifetimes per Soul Age LEVEL. [MEntity] In one lifetime, one may successfully transit only one or two Internal Monads. [MEntity] Though the success for any given Personality/lifetime within a Level may be more or less in terms of how many Internal Monads are successfully transited, the totality of successes are not lost to the progress of Essence. [MEntity] In other words, if the first lifetime within that Level completes the First, Second, and Third Internal Monads, but the next lifetime only completes the Second, it does not regress Essence's progress through the Level. [MEntity] This is because the Personality has its own progress, which contributes to the overall progress of Essence which is never regressive since it is a constant. So if one Personality contributes to Essence's move through a Soul Age Level by progressing through the Third Internal Monad in one life, but the next Personality does not do so in the next, the Essence would still be considered to have evolved through the Level. [MEntity] In the earlier Soul Ages, there is a fairly high level of stop-start among the various Personalities that contribute to each Level, because their connection to Essence is a bit more distorted or rejected. [MEntity] For example, in the Infant Soul Age Levels, the aim is for Survival, so the First Internal Monad of each Level is often the only Internal Monad completed, over and over, and then the subsequent Internal Monads are approached, slowly and eventually. [MEntity] In the Baby Soul Age, there are more who get "stuck" at the Second Internal Monad, and Young Souls are more prone to getting "stuck" in the Third, while Mature stall in the Fourth, and Old Souls in the Fifth. [MEntity] This is not a "bad thing." This is merely indicative of the themes of emphasis for that Soul Age. [MEntity] With each successful completion of an Internal Monad by one Personality, the momentum is generated for support in successfully completing the next Internal Monads by any subsequent Personality. However, that access to momentum is dependent upon the Personality's access to Essence. [MEntity] This is why the older Soul can complete more Internal Monads within a Level than those who are younger in Soul Age. [MEntity] When there is no access, or limited access, then progression is dependent upon Review between lifetimes. [MEntity] Internal Monads are our way of describing where a Personality is in regaining consciousness, awareness, relative to its Essence. [MEntity] Remember: Soul Age and Level are descriptions of where the Essence is, relative to remembering Tao. Internal Monads describe where one is within the process of remembering Essence. The latter contributes tremendously to the former. [MEntity] We share all of this background and review with you on this subject because this is relevant to how the older soul experiences the use of the information describing the Internal Monads. [MEntity] We share this because it is important to remember that, no matter what Soul Age, EVERY NEW BIRTH OF PERSONALITY IS AN EQUIVALENT OF INFANT SOUL. [MEntity] Everything is reset. [MEntity] The Instinctive Center (or localized Akashic Records) is "inserted" into the new lifetime and new body and new Personality, but it is then up to that Personality to access that, and regain and develop and progress consciousness. [MEntity] The Essence does all it can to set up the life so that remembering can come as easily as possible, but there is no pressure or hurry from the perspective of Essence. [MEntity] Because Humans are social creatures, the progress through the Internal Monads will tend to be relative to the average Soul Age and its influences on the culture, society, and available imprinting. [MEntity] So, regardless of Soul Age, it can be quite difficult to move beyond the Third or Fourth Internal Monad at this time as a Human. [MEntity] No matter how effectively Essence has set up the life of the Old Soul Personality, it is being born into a world dominated by Baby and Young Soul (Second and Third Internal Monad) themes, and only recently supportive of Mature (or Fourth Internal Monad) themes that help one progress and gain awareness. REGAINING CONSCIOUSNESS [MEntity] There are very few ways to prod a return to consciousness earlier than others among the culture or society. [MEntity] One of the only ways to do this is to provide opportunities for struggles and challenges early in the life. [MEntity] The more one is moved into conditions that prompt self-reflection and awareness, the more one regains (or gains) conscuousness. [MEntity] This is risky because the Personality must make the choices necessary for the use of those opportunities, but could easily slip into the development of entrenching Chief Negative Features. [MEntity] This is not to say that Essence plans your pain and suffering as a way to wake up, because pain and suffering are relative to the choices of the Personality, but it is fair to say that any challenges and obstacles early in the life were probably a part of the life plan. [MEntity] Because the Personality is more asleep in those early years of life, it can be fairly easy to stumble into or upon, or to create those opportunities for obstacles, struggles, and challenges that prompt one to wake up. [MEntity] The "It Gets Better" Campaign is an example of how those who have remembered enough, who have awakened enough, are reaching out to those who may be still asleep and struggling, to remind them that the best can be made of the worst. [MEntity] Essence makes the gamble in these older soul lifetimes that one will remember this on some level, and not give up, but continue into the wakefullness that will then allow for the true Manifestation of the life to come fully. [MEntity] All of this may seem a long prelude to the details of the Third Internal Monad, but for our students who are in the Third Internal Monad, or for those who know someone in the Third Internal Monad, or for helping you to understand those in the world who are "stuck" in the Third Internal Monad, it is vital to understand that this Internal Monad is the most asleep any Personality can be, relative to Soul Age. [MEntity] The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you. [MEntity] And no matter how old your soul is, if you are stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or passing through it, this will be the most asleep you can ever be in your life, no matter how awake you may feel you are. [MEntity] We will clarify here that "asleep" and "awake" are convenient ways to describe the difference between navigating the life based on what is happening to you versus navigating the life based on what you do with what happens to you. This is highly simplistic, but fair. [MEntity] For our older students, there will tend to be two lines of consciousness in effect before the completion of the Fourth Internal Monad: one is relative to the growth necessary for that current Personality, and the other is relative to the wisdom that is intuitively accessible from Essence. [MEntity] We think that many of our students will relate to having thought they were quite aware, quite advanced, quite wise in their teen years, and rightly so, but that even that paled in comparison to that which came in the years of life and progress of later Internal Monads. [MEntity] This is because the division between Essence and Personality is much less in the older Soul Ages, but this will rarely usurp the necessary experiences that the current Personality must gain before making that wisdom applicable and have context. [MEntity] So to all of our Third Internal Monad students, we assure you: no matter how wise you feel you are now, you will be wiser, and there are those who are wiser. [MEntity] For those who have successfully completed the Third Internal Monad, and know one who is stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or is passing through the Third Internal Monad, we remind you that you were there, once, too, and to forget this is an indication of where you may be stuck in your own Internal Monad. [MEntity] We will now describe the Third Internal Monad and its passage in detail: [MEntity] The First Stage of INITIATION is begun through REBELLION, the Negative Pole, and eventually moved to the Positive Pole of EXPLORATION. [MEntity] There is no way around the Rebellion as part of the process of the Third Internal Monad, but how that Rebellion plays out is entirely unique to every individul and the determined necessity for what represents rebellion. [MEntity] For the most part, the rebellion will target any of the most signficant influences in the life at the time. This influence can be positive or negative; it will not matter. There will be rebellion. [MEntity] For the older soul, this can even be toward the self, particularly if one feels the self is the most influential force in the life. [MEntity] Most sense of trust is tossed aside during this stage, and this prompts the Personality to begin its search for independence. [MEntity] If one stays in Rebellion long enough, this can be quite ugly, messy, and completely incoherent and chaotic, or the prompt toward independence can move one into Exploration, the Positive Pole of the stage. [MEntity] No matter how close one has been to a resource of nurturing, shelter, food, etc, Rebellion will come, and depending upon how the Rebellion goes, eventually Exploration. [MEntity] Along with the Rebellion and Exploration comes a necessity for creating new bonds of Trust. [MEntity] This comes with the uncomfortable shift away from those inherently trusted sources and toward new sources. [MEntity] For example, no matter how wonderful a relationship one may have had with a caretaker/parent, this stage will bring with it a sense that one needs to create one's own network of trust, rather than depend upon those inherent to birth and upbringing. [MEntity] This is a vital part of the Third Internal Monad because this is how all of you found each other. [MEntity] The bonds one shares with those outside of the bonding born of formative years are vital for finding and sustaining in the life, especially for the older soul whose "family" of Entity Mates and Agreements is often scattered around the planet. [MEntity] As one moves away from Rebellion and into Exploration, Trust begins to return, being built within new networks. [MEntity] The healing of any damage or threat or rejection of the inherent Trust already in place begins, as well. [MEntity] This leads to the 2nd Stage: INTROSPECTION, entered through the Negative Pole of Self-Consciousness, and eventually moved into Consciousness. [MEntity] The sense of movement toward independence has now come, but now the Personality has no idea what that means, how to do it, if it can be done, and why it is even so important. [MEntity] This creates an interesting dynamic where one must now rely upon resources from others, but be establishing independence. [MEntity] Self-Consciousness is a kind of hyper awareness of the self as a body, but without the consciousness to bring grace of movement to it. [MEntity] This extends into communication, thinking, feeling, actions, plans, ideals, etc. [MEntity] It can be quite confusing. [MEntity] The establishment of independence seems contrary to the necessity for dependence on others as a resource. [MEntity] Particularly if that resource was just rejected during Rebellion. [MEntity] Eventually, there comes a shift in consciousness away from the self in a way that begins to return to the inclusion of others. This a shift from self-absorbed self-consciousness to actual Consciousness. [MEntity] Consciousness as the Positive Pole here means bringing awareness to include that beyond the self. This is the beginning of the awareness that independence is more about how one accesses, uses, manages, and contributes resources than it is about simply having or taking as a means to serve the self. [MEntity] This move into Consciousness is a move toward inclusiveness of those whom one must turn to for resources, help, support, etc. and a move away from seeing these as threatening, shaming, or embarrassing people in authority over the life. [MEntity] This shift toward Consciousness brings about the 3rd Stage: REALIZATION. [MEntity] The Realization that one now can turn to others for support, resource, help, etc. and still sustain the momentum of independence leads to DEMANDS, the Negative Pole of this Stage. [MEntity] Now the struggle for independence can mean that others must comply to that process for the one in the Third Internal Monad, work around his or her needs, wants, demands, etc. [MEntity] This begins the process of Realization that is all about Responsibility, and this is one of the only ways one learns about what one IS responsible for, what one CAN be responsible for, and how to work with those who are, can, and will be responsible for you. [MEntity] As one Realizes the parameters of Responsibility through Demands, this shifts toward IDEALS. [MEntity] Again, this is a matter of shifting consciousness toward greater concentric circles of inclusion, so now that one has a better sense of what his or her responsibility is for the self, the planning can now begin for the long-term. [MEntity] Ideals require a coming together of parts, and an awareness of the steps necessary for the cohesion of a vision. [MEntity] This is the first Stage where one begins to contemplate the concept of "purpose" and what one wants to do with the life in a way that is meaningful to the self, capable of sustaining independence, and contributes. [MEntity] Ideals then lead to the 4th Stage: MANIFESTATION, entered through ANGER, and moved toward CHOICE. [MEntity] Once one has a vision in place, or is fairly set on some Ideals, then the Anger comes. [MEntity] Anger here describes the sense of the daunting tasks, actions, time, energy, etc. that is realized is necessary for fulfilling responsibilities and sense of purpose. It can feel quite overwhelming and one can feel helpless, which is the underpinning of Anger. [MEntity] This is usually when one first begins to depend greatly upon the self as source of income, shelter, food, etc. [MEntity] Eventually, the Anger (helplessness) is found to be alleviated by the capacity to CHOOSE. [MEntity] This is the first time one begins to grasp the magnitude of impact of the power of Choice. [MEntity] "If I choose not to do this, this will happen." "If I choose to do this, that will happen." [MEntity] Biologically speaking, this is the first time the brain is truly capable of independent choice, comprehensive choice. [MEntity] And so the practice of choosing begins. [MEntity] And this leads to the 5th Stage of CONTENTMENT that is first entered through RESENTMENT, and eventually toward RESPONSIBILITY. [MEntity] The Resentment comes from the push/pull experience within that is about the choices having been made so far, recognizing those choices that were harmful versus those that were helpful, and feeling the weight of this power now being solely one's own. [MEntity] However fleeting, the Resentment will come. [MEntity] This can lead to blaming others for the condition of the life as it is, or blaming the self for mistakes, sinking Resentment into regrets. [MEntity] Eventually, one begins to remember that the power of choice does not just come with a trail of exhaustion, mistakes, and regrets, but with the power to heal, create, transform nearly everything. [MEntity] This is when the truth of Responsibility begins to be understood, not just as an obligatory state for independence, but as a powerful ally in creating the life. [MEntity] Love for the life begins to flow again more freely, and with all of the previous Internal Monad Stages completed, one now has Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, and Responsibility as strengths, and this brings the 6th Stage: MAGNETIZATION [MEntity] Once Magnetization activates, it is the first time there is a sense that there are others in the life whom one does not know, still needs to find, and that they are important, as well as that you are important to them. [MEntity] This entrance into Magnetization is often marked by LONELINESS. [MEntity] This is the awareness of separation. [MEntity] While one is fighting so hard for independence, it can be difficult to realize just how far one has pushed others out of the life, or how far one will need to go in nurturing the attraction of support for the new sense of ideals and directions. [MEntity] Loneliness can come on strong, and be overwhelming. [MEntity] But this begins to shift when one begins to put those previous Positive Poles into effect. [MEntity] There comes an awareness that one is not alone just because one is alone, and that the fight for independence and self-sufficiency was not just for the sake of separating oneself from others, but as a way to be there FOR ONESELF. [MEntity] The awareness that one can be alone with the self and not equate that with loneliness shifts toward the Positive Pole of this Stage: Support. [MEntity] This is when one begins to know that one can care for the self along the way to caring for someone else, or being cared for, or along the way to any kind of exchange, support, Agreement. [MEntity] When this internal strength of Support comes into play, then the shift toward the last stage, Emanation, begins. [MEntity] To this point, all Stages can be progressed through, regardless of the Pole. [MEntity] The successful progression would be from Negative to Positive, Negative to Positive, weaving through the Stages from the more limited end to the more expansive, and eventually out of the Internal Monad. [MEntity] If one is in the Positive Pole, then one has explored the Negative Pole. [MEntity] So one cannot move from Positive to Positive to Positive, etc. [MEntity] However, one can move from Negative to Negative to Negative. [MEntity] If one has done this, then one cannot complete the Internal Monad, and will remain with an incomplete, or "stuck" Internal Monad in that final Negative Pole, and all before it. [MEntity] So the person who is with an incomplete 3rd Internal Monad beyond the 7th Stage would be one marked by Rebellion, Self-Consciousness, Demanding, Angry, Resentful, Alone, and Conclusive. [MEntity] And this will Emanate from them. [MEntity] Until one has closed out the Third Internal Monad successfully, these will dominate the life. [MEntity] In most cases, this will show up most obviously when matched against anyone or anything perceived as a threat to ones own authority, status, position, or value, or against anyone or anything that is seen as having more authority, status, position or value. [Maureen] Even if one has completed Stages 1 to 6 in the positive poles Michael -- but is "just" stuck at the 7th Stage? [MEntity] Depending upon the Soul Age where this Internal Monad is stuck, this concept of authority, status, and value is relative. For example, the Mature Soul may see this in the context of relationships and intimacy, whereas the Old Soul may see this in terms of uniqueness, wisdom, spirituality, etc. But both will be preoccupied with issues of responsibility, blame, etc. [MEntity] For one who has moved through the Positive Poles of each Stage before the 7th, Conclusivity tends to be brief, and is usually marked by a panic of questions related to "What if!" [MEntity] "What if I don't want to do this with my life?!" "What if I had made a different choice!?" "What if I am not cut out to do this?" etc. [MEntity] For someone who has completed all previous Stages in the Positive Pole, if he or she were to be stuck at this point, it would tend to remain in that spinning, questioning, uncertainty of life. There is such a terror of Conclusivity that they will, ironically, remain stuck. [MEntity] This would continue until one returns to the power of Choice, and remembers that this is the difference between conclusion and confidence. [MEntity] The Positive Pole of Emanation is Confidence, so the successful closure of the Third Internal Monad is a sustained reliance on those new internal strengths of Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, Responsibility, and Support, all leading to the nurturing of Confidence. [MEntity] The incomplete Third Internal Monad leads one forward into the life in a state of SEPARATION. [MEntity] There will tend to be a feeling as if one is separate, alone, always fighting or struggling against someone or something holding back the life, etc. [MEntity] The successfully completed Third Internal Monad would tend to bring with it DIFFERENTIATION, rather than Separation. This is an acceptance of your differences, the differences of others, and a sense of value for those within and around. [MEntity] It is one thing to feel different from others, and quite another to live in the illusion that you are separate and alone. [MEntity] The unsuccessful completion of the Third Internal Monad is usually marked by a constant need to prove oneself, whereas the successful completion of the Third Internal Monad tends to be an acceptance of oneself. [MEntity] The acceptance of oneself then leads to the 4th Internal Monad where one learns to LIKE oneself. [MEntity] To help someone through the Third Internal Monad can be quite difficult, as this is a time when he or she is most resistant to any help, any insight, and any sense. [MEntity] If you are the one going through the Internal Monad, then it is simply up to you to learn how to make the choices that support yourself toward independence. If you are a loved one of someone going through the Third Internal Monad, then it may often be a matter of allowing yourself to adapt to their process all along the way, and resist taking ANYTHING personally. As soon as you take this person personally, it can be devastating. [MEntity] QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [MEntity] Though we know this session has gone quite long, we will answer questions for the next 10 minutes as best we can. [Diane_HB] What's the difference between accepting oneself and liking oneself? [MEntity] Imagine the difference between accepting the differences between yourself and your family, and liking your family. Or the difference between accepting your job, and liking your job. Or accepting the differences between you and a Republican, and liking that Republican. [Diane_HB] That makes sense. [Jana_K] You have mentioned that "The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad is in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you." Is there something about the third level of any Soul Age that makes one more prone to be stuck/asleep? [MEntity] The Third Levels are marked by Introspection in most cases of any 7 Stages or Levels. This tends to turn one within and away, or become preoccupied with the internal processes, tending only to external processes in ways that serve those internal processes. This can be as obvious as a self-serving, greedy person to as subtle as an Old Soul who turns away from the world for fear it may affect their sense of peace. [MEntity] Even the Young Soul Age is entirely about Introspection, despite its emphasis on the external world. It is about how that external world can serve the self, based on personal need and want. [MEntity] So in an Age, Level and Stage where Introspection is so compounded, the person is quite "asleep." [MEntity] Or rather, can be. [MEntity] One can be awake and as conscious as possible at any Stage, Level, or Age. [MEntity] Some Ages, Levels, and Stages are easier to be more awake, mostly because of the nature of the emphasis of each. [ClaireC] What effect, if any, does "helicopter" parenting have on a child's ability to move through the IM's? [hovering] [MEntity] This would depend entirely upon the nature of the child. For some, this would tend to make the rebellion ever more pronounced, and for others it may delay this Internal Monad indefinitely. [MEntity] For children with more Fluid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more rebellion. [MEntity] For children with more Solid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more delays. [MEntity] By Fluid and Solid we mean Expressive/Inspirational, versus Action/Assimillative. [Kurtis] What are some key ways you can help someone progress at each of the different stages in the 3rd Internal Monad? Other than simply letting them be, since they have a tendency to ignore suggestions and etc... [MEntity] More than just letting them be, BE THERE. That is all you can do. There will be so many moments of embarrassment, confusion, chaos, shame, blame, etc. that what will be remembered and valued most is that people remained, continued to love, to care, and saw beyond the process to the person. [MEntity] That is the single most powerful thing one can do for those in or stuck in the Third Internal Monad, but this would need to be recognised as a choice, not an obligation or imposition. [Bobby] The further one gets past a "typical" time of completion for this monad, especially once they have entered their 4th and even 5th IMs, generally, how would you expect to experience such a personality? [MEntity] That would, again, depend upon the nature of the person. The more Fluid Roles and Overleaves would tend to exemplify the negative traits describing the negative poles of every stage passed through to-date in some way, while the more Solid Roles and Overleaves would tend to project those negative traits onto others and see them as issues within others. [MEntity] We must conclude here for today. We think we have responded to each question, as well as the original set, though we can certainly continue to elaborate in further exchanges. [MEntity] Good evening to each of you.
  10. Michael Speaks Live Online "Seven Emotions" March 23, 2014 (3 Hour Session) Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] We understand the topic of focus is that of the Emotions. First, as you explore the concept of Emotions, we will point out that "feelings" and Emotions are not, technically, the same things. They are so interconnected that they are often considered the same thing, but for the sake of the topic today, it will be helpful to understand that the "feeling" aspect is a bodily reaction/response to the energy that is Emotion. Emotions are more like a surge of energy, a kind of electricity, if you will, and your processing of that is what you call "feelings." All Emotions originate from the Emotional Center. These are then distributed, or processed, through the Parts of that Center, which funnels the energy into the other Centers relative to the Part. So, for example, if an Emotion is a Moving Part Emotion, it still originates from the Emotional Center, is processed by the Moving Part, and directed toward the Moving Center then. We will return to this circuitry a bit later. All Emotions Are Personal -- Only About Oneself Because all Emotions are of the Emotional Center, this means they are always related to ORDINAL INSPIRATION. This means that all Emotions are personal, and they are either a result of PROJECTION or REFLECTION. Emotions are personal (ordinal) in that they only ever tell you about YOU. Emotions never tell you anything about anyone other than yourself. Ever. It is an information circuitry that is entirely unique to you, about you, and is all about your collection of experiences, organized in layers of time, and that are then used to measure against your current experiences. All of this is a form of navigation. This is all true whether one is Emotionally-Centered, or not. When one is Emotionally-Centered, it simply means this form of navigation is relied upon far more than the other two forms (Intellectual and Moving). All fragments will have all three forms inherent to the incarnation, of course No matter how provoked, your Emotions are informing you about you; not the other person or even the event. When we say that they are "informing you about you, we mean that they are sifting through your collection of experiences over time and comparing the current experience to a past one for reference. If you have a painful experience in your records, a current experience might trigger that painful association and the current experience will be regarded as painful, even if it may not be painful. Because Emotions are Inspirational, they are LOADED with POTENTIAL. They are not reality. They only speak to the potential of a reality. So, for instance, this reference to a painful experience from the past is only meant to suggest that the current experience MIGHT BE painful, too. It is not meant to tell you that your current experience IS painful. And therein lies the difference between PROJECTION and REFLECTION. Projection is a reactionary processing of Emotions that presume that what is "felt" is the conclusive truth. If you feel it, it must be true. That is that. This is Projection. This is why we continue to remind our students that Emotions are not the truth. In a sense, Emotions are ALWAYS about the PAST. So the truth that you "feel" is about the past, not the present or the future. This is not a bad thing or a good thing, it is simply how Emotion functions. Even the best of how you feel is a product of the past. For example: you may find that the watching of the setting Sun is one that brings joy. But this is because it is not your first sunset. First sunsets for many fragments (in those early lifetimes) was terrifying. The world was plunged into darkness and new creatures emerged in that darkness, and nothing was ever the same again. Until the morning, of course. But then it would happen again. This was terrifying. Eventually, enough experience with sunsets brings Trust, and it is known that the Sun has not died, and it will rise again in the morning. To be clear, this Trust still cannot speak to the TRUTH. It can only speak to experience. MORE THAN LIKELY the sun will rise, and MORE THAN LIKELY the sun has not died, but there may very well come a night that never ends. As you can see, Trust then becomes an important Emotion for navigating because one cannot constantly fight and fear a sunset. If there comes a day when the sun does not rise, you will deal with that. Until then, you live as if the sun will rise again, because you Trust that it will, and you Trust that it will because you have enough experience to do so. This is no different in processing when it comes to relationships. It is fair to be wary of new relationships if one has experienced pain in one or more. Your Emotions are telling you to be careful, and that another round of relating COULD result in another round of pain. But, remember, Emotions are not the truth. They are only referencing your experience, and your experience, while your own, is not a constant. You lived in terror for years, afraid that the sun may not rise again. That fear and pain and terror was real. It is fair to be wary as the night falls again. But your fear, pain, and terror are not a constant, because you continue to gather experiences. And as your days are found to be filled over and over again, despite the terrors that the night will come, you begin to note this and grow from it, and face each day and night with Trust. The same is true of your relationships. The fear and pain and terror of your losses when a relationship ends or departs from expectations can make the next relationship seem a breeding ground for more terror, fear, and pain. But a new relationship is like a new day. IT WILL END. AND YOU WILL NOT. And just like the passing of days, you will find that relationships, like your days and nights, are uniquely filled with what you put into them, and are not defined by their beginning and "end." This is REFLECTION, then. PROJECTION is when you impose your past on an experience, relationship, or event. REFLECTION is when you learn from your past, but allow the greatest potential of the present or future. What we have shared, so far, is how Emotions function, how they are processed, what they are for, and what they mean. Though there many words to describe Emotions and how one feels, all Emotions can be traced back to one of seven basic Emotions, or as a combination of two or more of these basic Emotions. Those SEVEN BASIC EMOTIONS are: TRUST, DISGUST, ANTICIPATION, SADNESS, JOY, ANGER, SURPRISE. Trust is of the Instinctive Part. Anticipation is of the Higher Emotional Part. Joy is of the Higher Intellectual Part. Surprise is of the Higher Moving Part. Disgust is of the Emotional Part. Sadness is of the Intellectual Part. Anger is of the Moving Part. FEAR is not an Emotion, technically, anymore than Truth is or Love or Energy, in any technical sense. Many "emotions" that are referenced by other terms are combinations of the above, either in negative or in positive pole combinations. None of these Emotions are bad or good, but all can be experienced in beneficial or harmful ways. QUESTIONS Before we break down these Emotions into polarities, we will open the floor to any questions relative to what we have shared so far. [DianeHB] What IS Fear, if not an emotion? [MEntity] Fear is a "feeling," a secondary response or reaction to the processes of Emotions of Anger and Surprise. Fear, then, could be said to be the body's reaction of protection against negative experiences relative to Anger and Surprise. Keep in mind that the entire concept of Fear is one that is far more insidious and pervasive than this simplified version we speak of. We are speaking of Fear in terms of Emotions here, but we may speak of fear in larger terms in other discussions. But for the point of discussion regarding Emotion, Fear is often that bodily reaction to protections against all that is related to negative experiences of Anger and Surprise. In broader terms, it could be said that Fear is also the bodily response to all of these Emotions in their negative poles. [Juni] I am wondering about the difference between feelings/emotions and intuition. If feelings/emotions only ever tell you about oneself, how do you distinguish that from a "feeling" about another? [MEntity] Intuition is different from Emotions. Again, these are often presumed to be the same things, which is why many who use "intuition" are merely guided by a maze of emotions, and not insights. This is not a bad thing in the end, because when "intuition" is thought to be a process of navigating Emotionally, it can still be helpful, since Emotions always lead one back to the self. This can be just as important as guiding one outwardly. However, to more directly respond to your question, one's "feelings" about another person can still be useful, even if those feelings or Emotions are informing one about the self. It simply means that one has owned the feeling as one's own, and not as having originated from another person. If a person "makes you feel good," it is informing you as to how you feel about that person, but it is not necessarily how anyone else might feel about that person. And it only tells you how you feel about that person RIGHT NOW, not about how you will feel about that person in the future. All of this speaks to your past as a reference, too. If you meet someone and presume that your good feelings are the truth about that person, you have immediately cut yourself out of the picture as a source of those good feelings. This is often the case when "falling in love." Presuming that these Emotions and feelings are sourced by someone else means that there will likely come a day that the other is then blamed for less pleasant feelings. This becomes problematic for relating to someone because then the emphasis shifts away from how you contribute to your range of emotions and feelings, and the emphasis shifts toward how to get the other person to make you feel the way you had expected to feel. So there is no real differentiation here. Your feelings about a person are your own, and are not the truth about another person. There is a big difference between "I feel good" and "You make me feel good." Intuition, however, is another topic, and it is a synthesis of input from all of your senses so that comprehension can be gained. [ViP1] Hi Michael. I've read in psychology articles that insufficient contact or interaction (as an infant) with one's mother (or perhaps both parents) in the form of touch, and responses to facial and other cues, can inhibit peoples' abilities to recognize and describe their emotions (or perhaps, feelings?) And hence, leading to difficulties in dealing with them (emotions - or perhaps feelings, I'm not sure which based on your earlier distinction between them. Probably feelings.) Would you say that there is validity to this, and if so, if someone has had this experience in early life, how the processing circuitry is affected (and if possible, tips on how to rectify it, ie, recognize and process emotions effectively?) [MEntity] Any issues with care taking during the first 7 years can affect the Instinctive Part and, therefore, affect one's TRUST. Trust is reset in every lifetime, but how one is handled, treated, nurtured, born, etc. can skew that function so that it has some range of challenges. All Emotions are reset in every lifetime. But as one progresses through the Internal Monads, these Emotions are explored in a way that locks them into Projection or frees them into Reflection. These are not tied to the Internal Monads in a way that leaves an Internal Monad unfinished if the Emotion is not freed, but there do tend to be periods of the life where the various Emotions are emphasized in exploration. For example, Trust is explored and emphasized between the 1st and the 2nd Internal Monad. The 1st and 2nd Internal Monads can be successfully closed, even if Trust is not freed, but there is a rather high correlation to the level of trust vs distrust that one has in relation to whether one has completed those Internal Monads. In other words, there does TEND to be a much higher level of distrust among those who have not successfully closed their 2nd Internal Monad. DISGUST is explored and emphasized from the 2nd Internal Monad all the way through the 3rd Internal Monad. This is why you will find your toddlers to teens emphasizing this in ways that can be repellent and difficult. ANTICIPATION is explored during these, as well. Whereas SADNESS and JOY are explored and emphasized during the 4th Internal Monad. While ANGER and SURPRISE are explored and emphasized during the 5th Internal Monad. This is not to say that these Emotions do not exist as emphasis at any other time. We did not say that, nor did we imply that. But it is to say that those stages tend to be when those particular Emotions come to be truly resolved and freed, or locked into a more restricted state. Speak to a fragment who is successfully navigating the 5th Internal Monad and you will speak to someone who has all but lost the charge of Anger as a form of helplessness, and has freed it to become a form of motivation. Emotions as Polarities This may be a good segue into these Emotions as polarities. Think of the poles below as describing the Emotion as restricted or freed, and therefore more subject to Projection vs Reflection. TRUST as restricted might be FOOLISH/DISTRUST, and freed as CONFIDENCE/AWARENESS DISGUST as restricted might be CAUSTIC/LOATHSOME and freed as HUMOROUS/PREFERENCE Keep in mind that our polarities here are not necessarily emotions. These are merely adjectives to help understand the spectrum of that particular Emotion. SADNESS is restricted as PATHETIC/SELF-PITY and freed as GRIEF/HONESTY. ANGER is restricted as DEPRESSION/BLAME, and freed as MOTIVATION/PURPOSE. ANTICIPATION is restricted as AGITATION/DISDAIN, and freed as ENTHUSIASM/CONSIDERATION. [ViP1] Michael, just to confirm, you are giving negative poles first, then positive, as usual (eg, ENTHUSIASM: -ve, /CONSIDERATION: +ve?) [MEntity] What we are sharing with the two terms for each pole is the branching that the restriction or freeing can show up as. For instance, some restrictive Trust shows up much more like Foolishness or blind faith than as Distrust. But Foolishness and Distrust are fair ranges to include how the Freed end would show up. JOY is restricted as OBNOXIOUS/SELF-INDULGENT, and freed as INCLUSIVE/INVITING SURPRISE is restricted as RESISTANCE/DISREGARD, and freed as ADAPTIVE/PLAYFUL. To bring further correlation, it could be said that these Emotions are more inherently explored and emphasized in various Essence Roles, as well, though this is certainly in no strict sense of delineation. Scholars - Trust; Servers - Disgust; Artisans - Sadness; Warriors - Anger; Priests - Anticipation; Sages - Joy; Kings - Surprise. These inherent Emotions might be said to be a long-term spectrum for each Role to truly comprehend from its worst to its best. Furthermore, one COULD look at one's overleaves and "translate" his or her profile to show how the Personality might be emphasizing certain Emotions as exploration and emphasis. For example, if one has a greater emphasis down the Moving Axis, one might be exploring the wide range of Anger and how this is both debilitating and motivating. QUESTIONS We will open the floor for 2 or 3 final questions. We think we have covered a good amount on the subject of Emotions tonight, and these can be further explored in other exchanges with us. [Tyrant] Do each of the emotion types when blocked or repressed (or stuck in negative poles) have certain types of illness/ailments to them that manifest/what are they? as in, are there consistent patterns in types of ailments [MEntity] Yes, there can be. However, by the time most ailments are showing Physical symptoms, it is often a mix of two or more Emotions that have remained restricted. We can delineate these in another exchange. We would, first, want to share how illnesses/ailments can be broken down into 7, before correlating. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here for today. Good day to each of you
  11. Michael Speaks 051510 Open Floor [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We will begin the queue now. [QUESTION] Hello Michael, my question is regarding Cadence mates. Could you please elaborate on that connection... How do they function with each other? How do they work together to accomplish their global job? [MEntity] We would first point out that our term "Cadence" refers to any group of 7 with a relative resonance, which means that a Cadre is a Cadence of Entities, for instance. We point this out because we know that many students use the term to refer to the smallest grouping of 7 fragments of a single Role as cast within an Entity. There are many variations on "Cadence" across a Cadre and within an Entity. We point this out not only for clarity, but to say that our response would apply to all Cadences. We use the term "Cadence" to reference not only the rhythmic flow/count of fragmentation from Tao in 7/8 time, but as a musical reference to the culmination and "conclusion" of that flow into what are Cadres. We will also clarify that while we are aware of the terminology, we are not familiar with what is designated as "global jobs" beyond what might be a part of a Configuration of Agreements across a Cadence, which might be global in scope; otherwise, there are no inherent "global jobs." The relationship among Cadence members would be akin to positively-romanticized sibling relationships. Although the entire spectrum of human relationships can be had between Cadence Members, there does tend to be a kinship that is "softer" even in the worst of circumstances, relatively speaking. Those cast in the 1st, 3rd and 5th Positions tend to gravitate toward each other, as do 2nd, 4th, and 6th positions. The 7th position tends to be in a more "aloof" position, so to speak, and often becomes a focal point for other members of the Cadence. For instance, it is not uncommon for the Entities 1 through 6 to generate Personalities who feel they are "in love with" 7th Entity members and the various Personalities that are generated by the Essences of that Entity across lifetimes. The same can be said of a Cadence of Roles within an Entity. This dynamic of focus and support might best be understood if one were to visualize a pyramid with the 7th Position being at the "top" so that all of the energy and focus, gravitationally-speaking, is distributed among the other Positions for that 7th Position. This is not a literal description, but one that helps you to see that inherent dynamic of that Configuration. [QUESTION] Would it be appropriate to say that each of the 7 positions, in conjunction with each other, allow for a more complete understanding and exploration of the various lenses that a Role in essence can perceive, itself? [MEntity] We would agree. We would also agree to that description on the larger scales, as well. For instance, a Cadence of Entities (Cadre) in the Love (first) Position of its Energy Ring (12 Cadres) would collectively bring perspective, experience, and comprehension to that subject for the Energy Ring. [QUESTION] is there a more specific name to indicate we're talking about the smallest group? [MEntity] The Cadence of Roles (which could be called a scale of Notes) would collectively contribute to the whole of that Role's experience, perception, and comprehension within the context of its Greater Cadence (group of 49; 7X7). Greater Cadence might also be called a Chord. Cadence members spend more lifetimes together than any other grouping, and that number of lifetimes is greater on the smallest scale of a Cadence than on the greater scale of Cadence. For example, the Cadence of Roles in an Entity spend the most lives together, and then the Cadence of Raw Numbers. The Cadence of Raw Numbers could be called Octaves that include the Traveling Companions and Essence Twin. All of the Cadence variations could be considered as various "Melodies" within a Cadre. [QUESTION] what is the difference between the cadence of roles and the one of raw numbers? I thought that was one and the same? what is the distinction? [MEntity] A Cadence of Roles would be akin to the Notes on a scale from C to A, whereas a Cadence of Raw Number are like the 7 C Notes in 7 Octaves, or the 7 D Notes, etc. [QUESTION] does that make an entity or cadre a Song? [MEntity] A Cadre could be considered a Song. On the scale that becomes the Design or the Harmonies, the "words" that would be required by definition for a Song are no longer as relevant. On the larger scale, we would describe the grouping in terms of orchestral terms. [QUESTION] I'm going to get less esoteric for a bit. it strikes me that the US is more divided politically/emotionally than I have seen in my lifetime (even the 60's). There seems to be very little being done about real problems. How much does this really matter to individual personalities? What is a helpful point of view on this? [MEntity] The clearest metaphor we can find for describing where your country (and world) is currently would be at the crest atop the first hill of a roller coaster. "Half" of the people would be feeling the momentum forward, while "half" would still be hanging behind the hill, feeling the pull, but not seeing where it is going. The "half" in the front have a clarity that those "in the back" would not have, despite the fact that "everyone" knows they are on a roller coaster. Those "in the back" would have a bit more anxiety and resistance, in real world terms, as the gravity of evolution pulls them forward. We remind you that this "pull" and evolution are not imposed, as it is a choice to get on the "roller coaster" in the first place. We would also add that many "in the front" of the evolution are "egging on" those "in the back" to some degree for fun. "WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!!" is similar to what even some "in the front" are calling out, but on higher levels of perception, we see this as the "brattier" of the Essences who get a kick out of generating drama for the younger souls. Many of the same fragments acting as alarmists fully "know better," but enjoy the drama and humor. It is easier to enjoy such things when there is a higher perception of events and probabilities. In the same way that many Essences will "pull up their lawn chairs" around the section of the Astral Plane allotted to "hell" just for the amusement of watching the younger souls who think they must burn in "hell," so do some fragments carry over that sense of humor into the Physical Plane to play on the younger souls' fears of evolution. The division you sense is valid, but temporary. Now that the Infinite Soul manifestation is less-likely to intervene, the more "obnoxious" of fragments on both ends of the spectrum of evolution will be more obvious, and this "obnoxiousness" does not preclude the possibility of being harmful. [QUESTION] What is "temporary" in this context? [MEntity] For the most part, we see the majority of probabilities "teetering" toward various angles of dramatic destruction, but no fragments are truly interested in going there. Once the planet has moved into a Mature Soul gravity of evolution, even the Infant and Baby among the population begin a sensitivity that recognizes PAIN as a common denominator among everyone. One of the first steps toward unity is the capacity to recognize suffering in another, and even the Oldest of Souls had trouble doing so before the shift into a Mature Soul Paradigm. Once that gravity begins, then compassion becomes a priority over competition (Young vs Mature). [QUESTION] Do you have any ballpark time-frame when things will start to calm down? [MEntity] Those who might still want to harm others as a means to alter or resist evolution may do so, but we have not found any probability where this happens on any scale that has impact. Most Baby and Young Souls are "more bark than bite" in general at this time, but this does not mean there will not be those who represent the extremes. In most probabilities relative to where and when you are asking this question, the full forward momentum that then takes everyone with it onto an evolutionary roll, so to speak, is in approximately 2 years. [QUESTION] It is well known that events on the Physical Plane are linear in time, yet it has been mentioned several times that events on the Astral Planes and above are non-linear, as well as a future on this physical plane parallel in which technology may allow there to be instances of non-linear time. Could you please explain in further detail this concept of non-linear time, and how it works around the concepts we know of as special and general relativity, particularly temporal causality? [MEntity] The concept of non-linear time is best understood in vertical terms rather than horizontal terms, if you will. Linear progression happens "all the way" up and returning to Tao. Linearity is not lost, it is simply not the only perspective. The past is still the past, and the future is still the future, and the present is still the present. However, to help one imagine the concept that is often referred to as non-linear time, we would refer to the imagery of a 365 Day Wall Calendar. Within the Physical Plane, "you" exist within one of the boxes representing the Day. You progress from box to box, day to day, and there is very limited perception of the entirety of the year in front or in back of your point of reference. [QUESTION] so would it be correct to say that as you move up vertically, you see more and more on how actions in the present affect the future, but future events cannot affect the past, so to speak? [MEntity] From the Astral Plane, time is still quite linear in experience, except that it could be said that you have the equivalent of a clear view of the Month, rather than the limitation of the Day. From the Causal Plane, the view is more like being able to see the entirety of the wall calendar for the Year. [QUESTION] so you observe the events simultaneously, rather than individually? [MEntity] Yes, the comprehension, experience, and perception of events is not linear, even though the progression of events are. This is why we use the differentiation between horizontal and vertical: it is merely a matter of perspective that allows for the experience of non-linear aspects. [QUESTION] Wouldn't that interfere with choice though, if an action is seen to create an undesired outcome? [MEntity] No, it would not interfere with choice, but enhance it. Even within your single box, or your single day, you learn from experience how to anticipate the outcome of a choice before it is acted upon. Your capacity to anticipate within a day could be likened to our capacity to see probabilities on the metaphorical scale of the year. To be clearer in our response, we would have to include one more dimension of consideration with our visual. In "reality" there is never one calendar on that wall, but a multitude of calendars superimposed one over the other, over the other. The progression that one makes throughout the "year" would "weave" among those calendar layers, if you will. Each calendar layer representing a probability from the moment. Your choices determine what layer of calendar you are living. For instance, your choice to lash out in defense against an offense vs generating a creative, peaceful solution might be the difference between one layer and another layer of the year's calendar day. [QUESTION] Is this how parallels are constantly splitting off, based on the infinite number of choices that can be made? [MEntity] Yes. Our analogy of the Calendar Layers would be the equivalent of Parallels, or Dimensions. This is why when one might ask about a past life at one point in the current life, there may be a list of pasts that are linearly linked to the current life's moment, but at another point in the life, that moment may have a very different set of linear links to the past, because it is resonant to a different layer of the calendar now. [QUESTION] Though we do not see it on the physical plane, is it possible for us to jump around on different levels based on our choices, or new choices, or are we "stuck" on the same calendar? [MEntity] Shifting Parallels (calendars) happens on a regular basis, and happens on different scales from the Personal to the Global. Personal shifts in parallels can be generated through the accumulation of DECISIONS that then lead to pivotal CHOICES. We differentiate Decision from Choice. A Decision could be akin to HOW one takes the next step, and CHOICE is WHERE one takes the next step. Most Decisions create a path, and that path leads to a Choice. And that Choice can lead to generating a new parallel, or merging with another parallel. We will conclude this response with the clarification that the concept that "everything happens at once" should not be taken as a literal concept, but rather as a description of the capacity to comprehend on larger scales. For instance, when we said that all Roles within an Entity are "cast at once," we did not mean this literaly, but more in the same way that one might say that in the course of a day of baking, the chocolate chip cookies were all baked at once, and the ginger snaps were baked at once, etc. Even on the scale of Tao there is order, and that order has a progression, regardless of how massive the scale of comprehension. Time is simply a means for creating "space" within denser dimensions to allow for comprehension of progression. [QUESTION] You said cadence members spend the most lifetimes together. Is there an average number or percentage range of lifetimes that you spend with your primary cadence and raw # cadence mates? I’ve only asked for shared lifetime counts on a few people, trying to get a sense of how all that fits into things. [MEntity] We would say that Cadence Members spend more than 70% of lifetimes together in some meaningful capacity, in general. That 70% would include those lifetimes where at least one of the fragments is incarnated, but another is acting as non-physical guide or support. [QUESTION] At one of these open forums a while back Michaels mentioned that no one in attendance then had much support in their lives. What exactly is this phenomenon; support that is? What does it look like? Where are we placed with it and without it and what's it mean i.e., its significance? [MEntity] Every fragment has support in its life or it would die, but many do not consciously recognize the support, or do not consciously allow the support. Support could be said to be the network of life forces that are required for any Sentient to manifest in form. Support is active on the smallest of scales, such as within an individual lifetime, but are also vital on larger scales, as in terms of Universes; Universes are organized in groups of 12, and each plays a position of support for the others. The support of which we speak at the moment is the support that exists, with or without your Personality's permission or acceptance. It is dynamic and energetic, yet tangible. For instance, someone had to raise you. Someone had to heal you at certain points. Someone had to teach you. Someone has inspired you. Someone has fed you. The amount of support one has within the life is phenomenal when truly comprehended in terms of what it has contributed to your being here, now. The degree to which one allows, seeks, or invites support is often proportional to the degree of awareness and consciousness. Support occurs on an Intimate Level, Inspirational Level, Comrade or Classmates Level, and a Guiding or Guides Level. We have elaborated upon this in other exchanges regarding the subject of the Support Circle of 12 for every fragment. We will ask Troy to include that article in the final transcript for your further study and application. Note: See Support Circle of 12. A search for 'support circle' is advised as well, since there have been multiple transcripts that reference the concept. [QUESTION] I've just started recognizing the differences in intensity and extremes between different soul ages and different internal monadal experiences as an effect on how Chief Features display. Is this true for all of the various overleaves -- i.e., even frequencies and energies? As a general rule, is the slide between negative and positive poles less dramatic with age and experience? [MEntity] Your observation is valid. What you describe is the spectrum of perspectives, experiences, and comprehensions that range between the poles. As the soul grows older, it moves from a more reactionary bounce between the poles, into a response-oriented pendulum swing between the poles, and then into what might be best visualized as an arc between the poles. This arcing is what could be said to be the "Third Perspective." The older soul still has access to the range between the poles, but from a third perspective, or a perspective that is more "outside" of the self, from a higher elevation, an arc. This allows for a non-attachment to the experiences, comprehensions, and perspectives, while still participating in them. The evolution through the use of the spectrum between the poles of overleaves then could be described as a progression from attachment to detachment to non-attachment, or reactionary to responsive to True Choice, or from bouncing to swinging to arcing. We will conclude here. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
  12. Michael Speaks Live Chat The Seven Levels of Choice February 28, 2015 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Today we are asked to describe and delineate the 7 Levels of Choice. MEntity: There are several ways that Choice can be delineated, and we have approached these in various ways. We have explored with our students the 7 Methods of Choice, and the 7 Levels of Understanding/Comprehension of Choice, but today we are speaking of the "levels of being" from which Choices are being made. MEntity: We have said that "all is choice," and this is true, but there are caveats involved here, or contexts that help bring understanding to the nature and range of choice. MEntity: For example, while YOU ARE ESSENCE and YOU ARE PERSONALITY and PERSONALITY IS A PART OF ESSENCE, etc. they are still PARTS that add up to the whole of who you are. MEntity: There are parts of you making choices that other parts have little say in making. MEntity: For example, did you choose to be born? Did you design your Personality? Did you choose your parents? MEntity: Technically, yes. MEntity: But practically, no. MEntity: Your Essence did, but "you" did not. MEntity: So, does this mean you had no choice? MEntity: No, it does not. And yes, it does. MEntity: The best way to understand this seemingly conflicting statement is to understand this: MEntity: If you reach for an apple, did your arm and hand have a choice? MEntity: Some may see this as the arm having no choice, but the ultimate truth would be that the arm and hand ARE YOU. MEntity: If you trip and fall forward toward the edge of a staircase and, without thinking, catch yourself before actually falling, did you have a choice? MEntity: Some may say that you did not, but it would not be true. A PART OF YOU made a choice. MEntity: In earlier lifetimes, these parts tend to be separated, compartmentalized, without communication, so when one part makes a choice, another feels it did not. MEntity: As the Soul Ages, the lines between the parts begins to blur, so the arm is no longer a victim of the brain, and "the devil made me do it" no longer flies, and the state of your life is no longer the fault of some force beyond you. MEntity: Compartmentalization breaks down. Separation dissolves. And the parts are no longer divided, even as they may be still recognized as PARTS. MEntity: Communication among the parts expands and moves in all directions, instead of in one direction, or not at all. MEntity: For example, while the arm and hand are now recognized as yourself, too, it is also known that the hand will flinch if it touches something hot and gets burned. So while the choice to reach out takes control of the arm and hand, and it is known that the arm and hand are not separate from "you," it is also considered that the arm and hand do not want to be hurt. MEntity: This is highly simplistic in analogy, but it is fair. It is similar to how Essence evolves in its creation of Personalities and lifetimes. MEntity: Early Personalities may take the brunt of rough lives and "being burned," so to speak, but feedback from the Personalities teaches Essence how better to "reach out" into a lifetime so that Personality is less likely to be burned. MEntity: Personalities and Bodies, then, are like sensory receptors for the Essence. MEntity: Your sensory receptors help you to learn what to touch, what to reach for, what to avoid, etc. and while you will always have the choice to override that input, you will likely not do so because you have grown to understand that to hurt your hand is to hurt YOU. MEntity: And so it is with Essence in the creation of Personalities and lifetimes. Recklessness wanes very quickly. MEntity: And Essence exponentially evolves in its capacity for creating lives that help to navigate the dangers of scathing as much as possible. MEntity: But, whether reckless in the creation of life, or careful and considerate, the power of choice for Essence drops drastically when the Personality is born. MEntity: And Personality then rules the realm of choice. MEntity: Eventually, Personality AND Essence share in that realm of choice within a lifetime, as Personality wakes up and manifests Essence, with Personality embracing the choices that were made in its creation, and Essence enjoying the entire spectrum of choices being made by Personality. MEntity: In addition to the choices being made by Personality and Essence, as mentioned above in our scenarios, your BODY is a part of the spectrum of choice, as well. MEntity: Your Body is making choices. Your Essence is making choices. Your Personality is making choices. MEntity: And, so, with this in mind, here are the 7 Levels of Choice: MEntity: ANATOMIC CHOICE - This is the most rudimentary level of choice, and is reactionary, purely made on the basis of stimuli. MEntity: You bump into a wall, you flinch. Something flies at your eye, you blink and cringe. MEntity: This food tastes good, you eat it. This food tastes bad, you avoid it. MEntity: Now, it is "you" making these choices, but they are rooted deeply in the basic survival navigation of the body. MEntity: Anatomic Choice is pure dependence upon programming. It is still based in choice because there are options, such as which direcction to go based on moving toward a fork on the road, but the direction of choice tends to be directly related to survival. MEntity: The next Level of Choice is ATOMIC CHOICE - This is the level of choice being made consciously and proactively, but still based in the body. For example, it is not merely that you are bumping into a wall that you choose a different direction, but now you choose which direction. It is not merely that you are hungry so you choose to eat, but that you choose WHAT to eat. MEntity: ANATOMIC chooses to eat when hungry. ATOMIC choose what to eat. MEntity: These are based in the Body, the densest, most Physical Levels of you. MEntity: The next Level of Choice is FEAR. MEntity: This Level of Choice is ruled by False Personality. MEntity: False Personality makes choices based in fear. Similar to how the Body makes choices Anatomically in reaction to stimuli, so does the Personality make choices in reaction to stimuli. MEntity: Anatomic choices are based on reaction to physical sensation. Fear choices are made based on reactions to emotional sensation. MEntity: False Personality is fueled by Emotional sensation, regardless of Centering. MEntity: It may be more clarifying to use the phrase False Personality for this Level rather than Fear, because "fear" can be on any level, but either will work. MEntity: Instinctive/Anatomic Fear is very different from False Personality Fear, though. Anatomic Fear is immediate and relevant to threat or pain. False Personality Fear is anticipatory and embellished. MEntity: Most Personalities on the planet make choices from this FEAR/False Personality Level of Choice. MEntity: The next Level of Choice is LOVE, or True Personality. This is the Level in which you make choices that are inclusive and consider both Essence and the Body. MEntity: This Level of Choice does not exclude the pleasures or needs of the Body, nor does it exclude the bliss and vision of Essence. It does not make spirit a priority over body, nor body a priority over spirit. Choices are made that do not put the self as priority over others, nor do others take priority over the self. All choices are considered in terms of how they affect all involved. MEntity: About 25% of our students make choices based from this Level. MEntity: About 10% of the population does. MEntity: This is rapidly changing. Maureen: That's good news. :) [edited to include missing information] MENTITY: The next Level of Choice is CREATIVE. This is the Level of Choice that creates your life out of curiosity, experimentation, exploration, risk, interests, patterns, etc. These are choices made by both Essence and Personality, but initiated by Essence and fulfilled and altered by Personality. When your life is planned by Essence, this is the second thing considered. Ideas, imagination, fantasies, ideals, input from previous lives, input from other Essences, all go into considering the Creative Choices that will shape the overall context of the life. As Personality, you have no immediate choice in the Creative Choices that will generate the context of the life, but Personality will always have the choice in whether to use that to its advantage, to struggle against it, to alter it, to expand upon it, etc. MEntity: The next Level of Choice is KARMIC. MEntity: This is the Level of Choice that creates your life and Personality based out of necessity for balance. MEntity: These are choices made both by Essence and Personality, but initiated by Essence and fulfilled by Personality. MEntity: When your life is planned by Essence, this is the first thing considered. MEntity: All of your Ribbons are considered, as well as missing experiences, imbalances in design, patterns of Personalities, etc. MEntity: As Personality, you have no choice in the matter of the life being created based on these choices, but Personality will always have the choice in whether and how to fulfill the choices made by Essence on this Level. MEntity: This Karmic Level includes consideration for the design of Essence, as well. Essence did not actively choose its design in terms of Frequency, or Energy Ratio, and these are static. They are parts of the design of Essence that Essence must "live with." That design affects the patterns that generate across a Grand Cycle. MEntity: The Karmic Level of Choice is the highest level of choice we know of that has unique elements that prompt all variatons of uniqueness across the universe. MEntity: Beyond this level of choice, there is the highest of all levels of choice: EXISTENCE/EXISTENTIAL. MEntity: This is a Level of Choice that even Essence does not remember making. MEntity: We have come to understand that your individual spark of consciousness was not just randomly generated, but was born of some process of choice that prompted your existence, but we are still learning about how this works. MEntity: We can simplify the burst into existence by saying that Tao fragmented itself, and that Tao made this choice, but that would not explain the vastly profound uniqueness of each spark and its immediate awareness as itself. MEntity: The closest we have come to understanding this fragmentation process is that the fragmentation never, actually, happened. MEntity: Every cell in your body is uniquely its own cell, yet your body would not exist as it does without those cells, and your cells would not exist without the body. Every Personality in your Essence is uniquely its own Personality, yet your Essence would not exist as it does without those Personalities, and your Personalities would not exist at all. Every Essence is a part of Tao, yet MEntity: Tao would not exist as it does without every Essence, and Tao may not exist at all without Essences. MEntity: In other words, we know that the pattern is consistent in terms of creator and created, but we are starting to see that this loops back on itself in a way that is paradoxical. MEntity: As Essences reunited after a Grand Cycle, Tao is born again, so to speak. MEntity: While we are fragmented, it does not exist except as "stretched" across all fragments. MEntity: Therefore, "our" EXISTENCE as fragments is, indeed, a choice not made BY Tao, but AS Tao. ClaireC: Is Tao a web of fragments? MEntity: That is closer to the truth than anything we have yet to understand. MEntity: We never left home. MEntity: We merely stretched it across time and space. MEntity: Before we open to questions, we will state that the power of choice is highest from the lowest level to the highest. MEntity: In other words, your Body will always override Personality. Personality will always override Essence. Essence will always override Tao. MEntity: For example, when you die, you cannot undo dying. Your Body decides this. MEntity: Personality can nuture, care for, feed, protect, and love the Body so that the Body can make the best decisions possible, but if the Body is sick, dying, or dead, Personality can only navigate through this. MEntity: This is true between Essence and Personality, as well. MEntity: Personality makes the choices in a lifetime, not Essence. Essence can create the life, set the stage, be of guidance and accessible, but if Personality choose to override or reject Essence, then Essence must simply navigate through this. MEntity: This is true between Essence and Tao, as well. MEntity: Essence can explore in its vast creativity and dive into Sentience, but Tao can never UN-EXIST us. MEntity: Tao cannot direct or retract us. MEntity: True Personality is the meeting ground of Body, Personality, and Essence. While extant, this is the greatest range of choice and consideration any individual can have. BrianW: Could you go into how one might recognize when they are in False Personality vs True Personality and make choices that allow one to move towards True Personality? BrianW: What might be some examples of False Personality vs True Personality choices? MEntity: False Personality/Fear Choices are made only in terms of exclusion/lack of consideration, self-preservation, defense, emotional reaction, and limited perspective. True Personality/Love Choices are made from inclusion/consideration, self-awareness, embrace, inspirational action, and higher perspective. MEntity: An example of differences might be: MEntity: If one were to lose his job, False Personality will make choices based on feeling rejected, embarrassed, panicked, defensive, and with no trust in anything beyond what is being experienced, and stay there, or at least think he is stuck there. True Personality, however, would allow for all of the same reactions, but would make choices based in nurturing, calming, gathering strength and information, learning from the experience, and knowing that while there may be immediate concerns, there is a bigger picture to consider beyond where he is. MEntity: This is a simplistic, but quite familiar scenario to exemplify False vs True Personality. BrianW: Yes, very familiar, thank you MEntity: Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now
  13. This session took place on June 8, 2008. [Michael Entity] Hello to everyone. We are here. [QUESTION] I see a lot of folks who have bad dreams in my work and have found that while interpretation can be useful, people often find relief just by imagining a better ending for the dream. I don't remember where I learned that (maybe from you?). Anyway it seems to bring relief from nightmares. What is the mechanism by which this works? is it just that I say it will and people believe me? Or is it something astral? or simply the subconscious mind doing its thing? All that seems to be required is a good imagination and being in "alpha" waves. [Michael Entity] There is a level of dreaming that is primarily symbolic and these dreams are where issues from the waking life are being processed or examined. It does not require a fragment to be asleep for those symbols to be meaningful, but the symbols that are recalled from the dream are often the most directly-significant to the issues. For most fragments, the dream state can help resolve these issues being played out symbolically. This symbolic level of dreaming is very similar to how fragments experience and interact on the Astral Plane anyway, but for those fragments who have not resolved the issues being played out in symbolic dreaming, then bringing in the consciousness of the waking personality can help break the worrying cycle that has led to what some describe as "nightmares." This method of resolution is a natural strength for most fragments, which is why it so naturally occurs during sleep where the Personality dissolves to its default nature of strengths and weaknesses. Nearly all fragments assign symbolism to emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical elements of the life, though this symbolism is often lost to the conscious personality (waking state). When you, QUESTIONER, direct a fragment to use those symbols and experiences from the dream in a conscious way to bring about a break in the cycle and to direct toward resolution, it is not only resolving the issue in many ways, but bringing about an alignment between the conscious and subconscious selves. This same method can be used for those who are not having nightmares or remembering dreams: Examining an issue within the waking state and breaking it down into symbolism, then manipulating those symbols into a way that brings about a sense of direction, closure, or change can help implement those very things in the reality. For instance, a fragment may be feeling obstacles or patterns that keep him or her locked into poverty or survival modes. This fragment might choose a symbol to represent himself and the obstacles or patterns, adding in a current idea of a solution, and manipulate these into a way that displays a symbolic solution. Keeping that symbolic sense of solution at hand, in mind, heart, or even visually depicted (drawn out), can help to break the current symbolic pattern. [QUESTIONER] cool! bypasses the intellect setting up barriers I would think [Michael Entity] Your assessment is valid, for it is the Intellect that often keeps movement locked into an undesirable pattern. This is by no means true in all situations, but in many, it is. [QUESTION] Could you give an example of this conscious working with symbols such as the poverty or survival mode idea? [Michael Entity] Questioner, the symbolism would have to be specific to the individual, so our example will not be universal. For instance, one example might be a CAT to represent the individual, a BALL INSIDE A CIRCULAR TUBED TRACK with just a bit of a slit along the inside ring of the tube for reaching at the ball, to represent the pattern/obstacle. The current situation has the cat swatting at the ball over and over and often in a frenzy while the ball is forever locked inside that circular track. No amount of swatting or maneuvering is going to change this ball's circular roll within the tubed track. This person might then change the pattern by realizing that the symbolic pattern of the ball in the track means that everything about what the cat is doing is never going to get anywhere beyond chasing current ideas, actions, and feelings in circles. This situation would either require intervention (maybe a human to come along and break open the track to get to the ball) or to simply walk away to a completely new adventure. For the sake of this example, it might seem to be the most directly implementable action to simply walk away from the current ideas and actions. This person might then imagine the cat walking away wistfully and finding a small tree with accessible branches bearing dollar bills, all dangling in the wind. The cat is seen as having an hilarious and playful time jumping and swatting at the branches and knocking down the dollar bills into a pile. This person, then, might keep that image in mind when he or she begins to feel trapped again within patterns that are obviously not working so that he or she can be open to other, more accessible, inputs and possibilities within the reality. Keep in mind that these symbolic plays are NOT the solution in themselves, but are symbolic shifts toward internal solutions or breaks from patterns in how one is perceiving and interpreting reality, which is then a powerful step toward finding and creating external "real life" solutions and breaks. We would also suggest examining why this person might have chosen himself to be symbolized by a CAT, looking at all that a cat means to that person and applying that insight as a way to discover how he or she sees the self in relation to the issue. We will point out here that this topic could be an entire discussion in itself and one that might be worth examining in the future. [QUESTION] What is meditation? Is it just silencing the internal chattering, or is something else involved? I recently had some personal advice in meditation from Michael, but trying to follow it, I started wondering what meditation actually is. [Michael Entity] From our perspective, "meditation" is a word to describe the work through a triad that leads to adaptable balancing among all centers. This triad could be described as: EXAMINATION, IMPLEMENTATION, REALIZATION. We will describe this in detail now. First, a fragment would Examine the life to determine which Center is seeming least used, least effective, least understood, etc. For simplistic purposes, we will contain this to the 3 Primary Centers. So if one were to see that the MOVING Center is being used the least, or is the least effective, then this would determine the direction of IMPLEMENTATION. This would mean that your "meditation" would be of a Moving-Centered sort. Stillness or stereotypical concepts of "meditation" would not work for this fragment. This fragment could then Implement a moving meditation into his or her days. This moving meditation could be anything that includes the body and movement, which means that meditation could be anything from exercise to dancing to simple movements of the body while seated. Once a method has been Implemented, then the practice of this on a regular basis will lead to REALIZATION, which simply describes the effect of that particular meditation. In this case, a balance within the self that has taught the body how to call upon its moving center in a more effective way. The Implementation stage is the most important stage as it requires some amount of commitment for Realization to come about. The entirety of the experience from Examination to Implementation to Realization is "meditation." In other words, Meditation is not simply a separation from your routines (examination), nor is it simply the clear focus of intent during parts of your day (implementation), nor is it just the benefits on the other side of implementation (realization). It is a triad of effort. [QUESTION] what would be an example of using Emotional as the Center for Implementation? [Michael Entity] Listening to music that stimulates the emotions could be good for some fragments, while watching dramatic movies could be good for others; still others might find a walk through beautiful environments to be a means for implementing Emotional; exploring art could be another example for some. [QUESTION] So it doesn't matter if I think of this and that during implementation, as long as I move? [Michael Entity] The more consciousness one can direct toward that which is being implemented, the greater the Realization. So if one is implementing Movement, one can think and feel whatever one wishes, but allow the consciousness to fully embrace the body, the sensations, the experience of the movement as clearly as possible. It cannot hurt to be as focused as one can be on the implementation, but it is not necessary to block other natural elements within you. [QUESTIONER] I thought so [Michael Entity] Those who experience the Realization will find that one can think, feel, and act in a way that each does not overshadow or block the other. This is another topic worth exploring, if our students wished. [QUESTION] I want to know about the 4th internal monad and how one would know if they were on the way to manifesting their true personality [Michael Entity] The easiest way one can gauge whether one is moving forward through the 4th Internal Monad in a way that is a positive transition, or to gauge whether one has completed a 4th Internal Monad in a way that was in the Positive Pole, is to ask one, simple question: DO I LIKE ME? To the degree that a fragment can honestly say that he or she likes himself or herself, is the degree to which the 4th Internal Monad is being completed, or has been completed, in the Positive Pole. The Positive Pole of the entire 4th Internal Monad is Self-Realization, which is the experience of being present with who you are and generally liking who you are. The Negative Pole is Acquiescence, which is the feeling of being forced or succumbing to "who you are," and not really liking who that is. In short, if you can answer the question DO I LIKE ME? with an answer of "yes" to any degree, then you are generally manifesting True Personality to that degree. [QUESTION] There are different ”schools” teaching how to do psychic readings/how to read energy fields/do energy work. When doing a reading it's sometimes being used different energy techniques for different issues coming up in a reading. For instance: 1.Create and destroy, 2.Removing fear energies, 3.Delete programming, 4.Erasure and 5.Astral healing. If possible I would like Michael make a comment on the use of these techniques and the fact that some of these schools, even today, try to keep some secrecy around the energy techniques. [Michael Entity] Many "schools" who claim secrecy over their techniques are run by, and determined by, Baby Souls. The techniques involved would be beneficial to other Baby Souls, and to some Young Souls, but probably quite ineffective for Mature or Older Souls to use. This is because the techniques and beliefs that make these work are mythological and superstitiously rooted. If one can adapt these Baby Soul concepts into a more mature language and method, then the schooling might not be lost on the Mature or Older soul, but this would have to be kept in mind along the way. For instance, the idea that one can heal another is a Baby Soul concept, but the reality that one can help another to heal himself is a Mature concept. Even on the most physical of levels of intervention, a physical doctor can only do so much in treating a fragment and the fragment "being healed" must ultimately do the healing. Tending, or intervening the impact of wounds is one thing; but healing is always a personal matter. The older souls know this. We mention this as an example because many of the more secretive techniques and schoolings teach as an undercurrent a kind of power over others (whether for "good" or "bad,") and this ultimate power is simply not valid. If your technique for healing is considerate of the dynamic that needs to be in place between healer and wounded, with an holistic awareness, then the technique would be the most effective and valid. Techniques that leave out the choice of another tend to lead to Karma. [QUESTION] I have recently been involved in discussions with a few of my friends regarding political and governmental systems regarding which are the most effective. My friends would gladly describe themselves as “libertarian” whereas I cannot completely proscribe to such an ideology, if only because their description of “libertarianism” seems to give too much authority to the private sector and private interests; of which I am not entirely comfortable. They would likely label me as “socialist” or as “bleeding heart liberal” if they didn't know me better! I guess the questions are: Is there or are there ideal governmental system(s) or ideology for the current average soul age we are in currently, based on what Michael has perceived from other sentient beings? What do these systems look like? Perhaps what the United States and the rest of the world is currently experiencing in their governments are pretty typical for our current soul age development? That would be my perception at least. Also, what do typical governments look like on worlds that have a majority of old souls? Or do they even have governments? [Michael Entity] The politics of any given region or period of time usually describe the friction between the approaching paradigm and the current paradigm, each respectively defined by the approaching dominant Soul Age and the current dominant Soul Age. Many of the names assigned to the varying "parties" are tedious and unnecessary, so we will speak in broader terms here. NOTE FROM TROY: Some editing was done from the original text as I asked Michael for clarifications and questioned a couple of the original details. Also, the true definitions and delineations for all of the political/governmental systems can really get complicated, so Michael's response seems to be exactly what they've said, a "broader" perspective, at best. They did explain to me that there are really only three political systems, but a multitude of systems within those systems. [Michael Entity] It could be said that the following political systems are associated in this way: Infant Souls have no politics or order, and are therefore at the mercy of whatever dominant political system is in place at the time. However, they may be most comfortable with Dictatorship, which would be implemented by Baby Souls. The Baby/Young politics have shown up as Dictatorship, Capitalism, and Socialism. The Young/Mature politics have shown up as Monarchy, Republic, Socialism, and Communism. The Mature/Old politics have shown up as Monarchy, Democracy, and Anarchy. Old Soul politics return to a state of no politics, but more of what might be considered Anarchy. We use the word "anarchy" in its true definition, not as the Young or Mature soul might exploit the term. The anarchy usually takes on a form that would be recognized as Tribalism. In response to your questions: We would say that the politics of your current world are exactly indicative of the shifts from the dominant paradigm/soul age to another. From what we can see of other populations dominated by Old Soul Ages and paradigms, there are no governments that you would recognize beyond being more tribal groups in communication and exchange with one another, but with no discernible leader or authority. This is one of the reasons our teaching is particularly attractive to the older soul, since there is no discernible authority beyond the self, and even the sense of self is held in question to a degree that allows for sensitive consideration of all factors involved in the life. An Old Soul world is similar. [QUESTION] I realize my background in government is obviously lacking when I ask this question, but: Is there any distinguishable difference between a democracy and a republic according to Michael's perception? By including both, it seems to be implied that there is a difference. [Michael Entity] We differentiate a Republic from a Democracy in that a Republic has a more specifically-defined body of qualified voters or elected representatives, while a Democracy seeks to include all people, even those who might not be obviously qualified. The concept of Democracy can get confusing in some cultures such as in the United States because several forms of government are in place. Rather than a pure Democracy, the United States is far more accurately described as a Republic, which is a form of Democracy, but not true Democracy. In addition to this, the general promotion of Democracy is run from an Authoritarian perspective, or as a Plutocracy, to be specific. It could be said that the Physical economy of the United States is run by Plutocratic (authoritarian) politics, while the Emotional economy is run by Republican (Democratic) methods, and this is to be considered when looking at politics. There are Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual levels of Politics and Economy to consider in any system. The closest to an old soul political system that exists in your world today is what is experienced as "the Internet." [QUESTION] How are the Internet and politics related? [Michael Entity] If "politics" is seen as a term to describe how a body of people govern themselves and resolve apparent conflicts, then the Internet could be seen as a system of politics. In this case, as would be the case for the Old Soul world, COMMUNICATION would be at the core of those politics, or the INTELLECT as economy. The Infant Soul uses Freedom; the Baby Soul uses Authority; the Young Soul uses Capital; the Mature Soul uses Well-Being; and the Old Soul uses Communication at the root of their politics. The "ultimate" political system, in the end, will have to utilize all of these factors to govern a mix of soul ages. Hence, the politics of a Democracy or a Republic will include previous political emphases to some degree, but with the more current politics being the emphasis. [QUESTION] And so, just as we are doing here in this chat, everyone determines for themselves, and then relates to the outside world through communication. but as an autonomous being similarly engaged with other autonomous beings/people? Something like this? [Michael Entity] We think we have understood your question and we would agree. It could be said then that the politics of the Old Soul are CONTEXTUAL. Certain politics apply within specific instances, but are not seen as appropriate across the board. And each person determines his or her level of compliance within certain contexts, or freely moves to more appropriate contexts. We realize this is far from being deeply explored, but we will move on now. [QUESTION] Since we acquire new bodies each lifetime, why do we still carry "memories" of injuries from past lives into new lifetimes? How does this work? For ex. my back pain has been channeled as being from an injury from a past life that I am working out. [Michael Entity] One only carries "memories" of injuries into a current life when those injuries or memories are relevant to the current life. They are never random, and never literal. For instance, your back pain is a manifestation of similar patterns being explored within this lifetime that are resonant to other lifetimes of similar exploration. It is not that the injury was literally carried over, but that you are doing similar things in a similar way that then resonate to that other lifetime. That resonance can help in healing the current injury only insofar as insights can be gained from experiences integrated by your Essence from that lifetime. The resonance to the other lifetime is not to give justification or distraction from your current ailments, but to allow a means of direct access to the wisdom stored by Essence from that lifetime. If one can imagine one lifetime as one point on a line, while another lifetime is another point at a distance on that line, and then imagine a line being drawn from one lifetime to another, that line CANNOT be "drawn" without first creating an arc through Essence, which is "above the line." Often Personality can relate to other Personalities before it can relate to Essence, so it "remembers" (or receives through a channel) the reference to another lifetime of similarity, but this is merely a method for indirectly accessing Essence. Keeping that in mind can help the point of that remembering and resonance. However, to be more specific in response to your question, it is not the injury that carries over, nor the memory, but the PATTERNS that are stored in your Instinctive Center, which is pulled from one lifetime and then "inserted" into another lifetime. This is not a literal event, but the image is helpful. It can also hep to think of it as a program, or a collection of programs/software that is now available to the new personality. Depending on the choices of the current personality, certain programs/software/patterns will emerge for use, and many will not. In your case, QUESTIONER, you have called upon a theme of self-esteem issues, and these issues are often ignored or overridden on the emotional or intellectual levels to a degree that physical manifestation helps in tending to that theme of issues. You will then find resonance to lifetimes where a similar physical injury or ailment was being explored for similar reasons. [QUESTION] Could Michael suggest some energy-work on such an issue? [Michael Entity] The "energy work" for any given ailment would have to be relative to the ailment and the individual, but we can say that any chronic aching that is related to self-esteem issues would require "energy work" on the Emotional Body as a focal point, while emphasis of RELIEF on the Physical Body will help in allowing that focus. This energy work on the Emotional Body might be anything from cathartic expression to gestalt therapies to flotation therapies to singing therapies to permission therapies that allow for more of what one craves, etc. We wish to point out here that the patterns carried over from one lifetime to another are only brought into reality by the choices of the current personality. For instance, there have have been lifetimes for the Questioner that have been lived between the past life back injury and the back injury of this lifetime. Back pain was not an issue in those lifetimes between. A more poetic way to understand this might be that the songs heard from other lifetimes depends on the melodies played by this one. [QUESTION] I would like more information on the upcoming (or current??) nexus. It feels to me as if everything over a period of some months has been leading to this (at least for me personally.) Lots of old wounds and even fear patterns (particularly self-esteem, self-worth issues) have been triggered. I recognize them for what they are, but I need to find a way to stay focused on what it is that I want to create, particularly in terms of my career. I am also dealing with a boss who has a very different approach to life than I do. I am guessing she is some combination of sage/priest/warrior - very focused, driven (passion mode?) energy though even though I think she is emotionally centered. Whereas, even though I am a scholar, and intellectually centered, my approach is more fuzzy, diffuse, and go with the flow, or at least it feels that way. Any suggestions here? Please direct your answer in any way that would be helpful to others in general. I can follow up with Troy on the more personal aspects later. [Michael Entity] What we can say about the upcoming Nexus is that there seems to be an exploration of the concept of COMPARISONS/CONTRASTS. This seems to be resulting from the enthusiasm/collapse extremes that we have described for many of our students. The enthusiasm comes from the Persistence energy that pushes beyond the collapsing experience of Unchanging energy. It is fair to compare and contrast the unchanging energy with the persistent energy, or the collapsing energy with the enthusiastic energy, but will not be fair to oneself to presume one is stuck in this pattern indefinitely, or to presume one has to remain in one or the other. In light of this, many of you may find representatives of your inner enthusiasm/collapse around you. In your case, it could be said that your "boss" represents the enthusiasm, while "you" represent the collapses. This then leads to your attributing distaste for enthusiasm because your boss expresses it differently from what you would, and this leads to distaste for yourself since you see most easily the collapse in you. [QUESTION] and how to move beyond this? [Michael Entity] What one could do, using your example, is to try what we suggested in our Energy Report, which is to DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. In this case, it might mean to flip and reverse your perspective and interpretations in a completely enlightening and revitalizing way (instead of in the debilitating way that is your current pattern). Allow your boss to be the wonderful representative of how you create your collapses, and for yourself to represent what actually inspires your enthusiasm. In other words, doing things your way actually leads to productivity, creativity, and meaning, while doing things her way leads to confusion, overwhelm, and hopelessness. [QUESTIONER] I'm not quite grasping this [Michael Entity] If we are seeing the situation clearly, we would say that your collapses come in your comparing yourself to others forms of productivity and trying to implement methods not natural to you, whereas realizing what does and does not work for you allows for you to implement practices that encourage your enthusiasm and do not require you to conform to anyone else's methods. We believe we may be getting into personal territory and will halt our response here, but simply point out that the upcoming Nexus is one that emphasizes CONTRASTS and COMPARISONS and this is to allow for heightened awareness of what IS and IS NOT working for you in various areas of your life. The process of Comparing and Contrasting can often feel like self-judgment or judgment of others, and it is just that, but it is not something to be feared. It is simply a natural method for navigating life. To fear it is to remain stuck. To remain stuck is to remain at the extreme of collapse. We will conclude here, then. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
