  1. [Bobby] Last month, when I asked if I had completed my 4th IM or not, you responded with "we do not think it is completed. When issues of self-as-resource, or self-confidence, are cleared up, we think there may be rapid movement toward closure." Are the issues of "self-as-resource" and/or "self-confidence" unresolved 3rd IM issues that are holding up the 4th IM? What specifically am I doing or not doing that is keeping me from completing the current IM? [MEntity] The only reason you have not completed this Internal Monad is because you are not finished. It is not that you were blocking or delaying or dropping the efforts. It is, simply, occurring at your particular pace. There have been ebbs and flows of effort and retreat, but no interest in closing this without completion. [MEntity] What you are doing that is helping to contribute to the completion is the taking of responsibility for your self as a resource. The definition of "resource" has come to change over time, and the range of value has expanded to include tangible and intangible contribution and sharing. [Bobby] How exactly is it determined that it is ever completed then? [Bobby] Since this is a personality based IM, I would think there would be certain markers one could go by. [MEntity] It makes a difference if you contribute criticism, badgering, bickering, dismissal, distance, or if you contribute kindness, patience, laughter, playfulness, intimacy, ideas, creativity, and sanctuary. Those "things" count as much as any dollar, if not more. Though all contributions will have their importance for specific effects (you cannot pay rent with laughter, for instance), they are [MEntity] still beneficial resources that must, eventually, be appreciated. [Bobby] I see. So currently then the contributions are still weighted a little more to that negative end of the spectrum then? [MEntity] For most, the markers for completion of the 4th Internal Monad might be: [MEntity] One begins to appreciate one's innocence and the innocence of others, and drops the constant necessity for destructive criticism. [For me, I think this was the key] [MEntity] One begins to like oneself, and others, from a gentler stance that does not require defense. [MEntity] One no longer "hides." [Bobby] What would be an example of a way that I still "hide"? [MEntity] One feels as if there is a stable return to participation, contribution, and creation of the life. [MEntity] One tends to find that the life is flexible and adaptable, instead of fixed by any conclusions at any given time. [MEntity] We are speaking about markers for all who complete this Internal Monad, not specific to you. [MEntity] However, in terms of "hiding," this can be quite literal in that one avoids interaction with the life, or a complete indulgence in the life, so as not to truly be responsible for the life. [MEntity] Or, for the older soul, this can be much more subtle, such as contorting the self to match the expectations of others and to avoid "rocking the boat," or dealing with conflict, or hiding through the presumption that others contort to one's own expectations. [MEntity] In your case, we think your pattern was to "hide" in terms of retreat into the self to avoid conflicts or disappointment. [MEntity] Eventually, the completion of the 4th Internal Monad comes with a realization that disappointment is not the same thing as definition, and conflict is not the same thing as needing to be right or to win. [Bobby] The "to avoid conflicts" though seems to run counter to accepting another's innocence. I balance: do I allow them to be testy and nasty or do I fight back when challenged. [Bobby] I think I do a LOT less of the latter, now, but there is still some of that to some degree. [MEntity] The balance is simple in philosophy, but not always so simple in application. That balance is through lack of defense. [MEntity] If you feel yourself getting heated and reactionary, you are in a state of defense. [MEntity] If you find yourself disengaged and dismissive, you are in a state of defense. [Bobby] Ok, I'll keep on working on it. I have the rest of this lifetime to finish it, if need be :-)
  2. This topic came up in our recent chat on July 13, 2009, and Michael mentioned that I would include a copy of some information about the 4th Internal Monad. This was channeled YEARS ago, so please be lenient with it. I think I need to go through an update some phrasing and grammar to match my own growth and clarity in channeling, but the gist is there. Enjoy! 4th Internal Monad +self-realization -acquiescence MICHAEL: The Fourth Internal Monad is the personal measurement between what was “planned” for the lifetime and what has actually been accomplished to date, and what might now be accomplished based on momentum from the current position within the life. This is where the Personality and Essence become “permanently” aligned or not. The Essence is either allowed freedom of manifestation or it is rejected as a source. To make simple sense of this Monad, it is the “regaining of innocence”. This is where you integrate the childish aspects of you into the adult version of your life as you have become. If major changes are to be a part of the transition to a “smoother” life, these changes can be drastic and threatening to the Personality as judgment may spring forth that its own decisions from the past were “mistakes”. In reality, the decisions were not mistakes; they were simply experiences. These experiences, however harshly judged, have led you to a place of potential self-realization. It is your choice to co-create the changes (the positive passage through the Monad), or to resign yourself to being overwhelmed (negative passage). If this Monad can be seen as an opportunity to free the “child within”, then much is gained in your understanding of how to remain in the positive aspects of the passage. The hallmark of positive passage through this Monad is in freeing yourself from what you think you SHOULD do and, instead, discovering what you love to do, in terms of external reality fulfillment. We remind you that you WILL move through the entire spectrum of the Monad, Positive Poles and Negative Poles, as you progress. It is as necessary as breathing "in" and "out". Reminding yourself that the point of the negative pole is a means to “look at” what you might want to change, upgrade, or accept, will do much in freeing you from severe reactions and Chief Feature "tricks". Those of you who have not completed the 3rd Internal Monad successfully (from the Positive Poles), you may find yourselves having to “go back” to the struggle of learning psychological independence before you can move on. The 3rd Internal Monad deals with the fragment comprehending their independence from the source that supported them through the first part of their life. It is not whether a fragment still depends on their source or not, it is simply whether they recognize they are not defined by that source. A person who would not pass completely though a stage within a Monad will live within that frame of reference for the remainder of the lifetime. Incompleteness, or Negative Pole completion through Monad 4 would find the person living in relentless self-examination and criticism of their choices, possibly reverting to the past as a source of blame for their behavior. This fragment will always feel unfulfilled. We remind you that this information is shared a map, not as another form of fear to be used against the self. If you are driving through a passage up a mountain-side and we would note that to certain routes would give your more challenge or diversion from the destination, this would not take from the absolute choices that you have. It is always possible to complete a Monad in the Positive Poles from any point within the life. You are never trapped beyond your willingness to progress.

    Third Internal Monad

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 3rd Rite of Passage [Internal Monad], which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself.
  4. [excerpt from TT: 2001-05-03] [Anne49] How is it possible to tell if someone is experiencing the positive or negative pole through the 3rd internal monad? [Michael_Entity] The Negative Pole of the Third Internal Monad is heavily marked with issues of Authority and constant battles with that which is perceived as Authority. The Positive Pole is marked by the ability to negotiate with or at least remain detached from the perceived Authority.
  5. [MEntity]: The Third Internal Monad is always about coming to terms with one's own definition of freedom and developing self-reliance, which requires a kind of rebellion from those who have provided structure, shelter, and nurture for any length of time. [MEntity]: In that rebellion, the experience can range between simply establishing new foundations that extend from previous ones, and having to build from scratch the new foundations from ones that have collapsed, have been destroyed, or were realized to have never existed.

    Second Internal Monad

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 2nd Rite of Passage [or Internal Monad], which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility.
  7. [Excerpt from TT: 2010-09-12] [MEntity] The successful completion of Birth is indicated by “staying alive.” For the most part, this is marked by good health. If a body dies before the age of 3, it did not successfully complete the Birth Monad.
  8. [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: November 2008] [Question] Hi, Michael! Completing each Internal Monad in the positive pole is how we navigate thru each Level with-in the Soul Age; incompletion leaves the fragment in the negative pole of whichever “stage” of that IM. It seems to me that where a fragment is in relation to their IM’s would have a lot of impact on the Personality – as much as, say, the Goal & Attitude. There would have to be a strong Agreement, External Monad, or Karma to bring a person in negative completion of their 3rd IM (for example) in close relation to someone positively completing their IMs, no? Comments, please? [Michael_Entity] We would not agree. A relationship with different results from the personal rites of passage in life is simply a spectrum of life. Two people may choose to endure the difference, build on the difference, complement each other, help each other, etc. but this would be a matter of choice, not necessarily a matter of binding through Karma or Monads, though it would be accurate to say that an Agreement in some form would be in place. The Negative Completion of an Internal Monad (rite of passage) is usually the extended impact from the False Personality, rather than the other way around. We wish to clarify that “negative completion” is a bit of a misnomer as every Internal Monad “enters” through the negative pole and eventually completes from the positive pole. It simply happens to be that it may take more than one lifetime for a fragment to move to a point in the positive pole. In other words, if one is in the negative pole, it is not truly “completed.” If enduring relationships were subject to the position two people are within their personal rites of passage, there would be very little learning.
  9. [Excerpt from TT: 2005-03-06] [Tibtyc] Good evening. If I understand the concept of 4th internal Monad (and my life) correctly, I did mine twelve years ago. Or at least started it. That happened rather dramatically. Now my life has come to of halt, like the end of a road. Could this be my 5th monad? The Monads remind me of the acts in an opera, or the movements in a symphony. How to differentiate between 4th and 5th internal Monad, or Monads generally? That is my question. [Michael_Entity] The 4th Internal Monad has an emphasis on REGAINING INNOCENCE, or put another way, Growing Into Your Own Idea of YOU. The 5th Internal Monad has an emphasis on RECREATING YOUR LIFE, or put another way, HAVING FUN. Your life has come to a halt simply for the sake of your “catching your breath.” There are 7 stages to every cycle of growth whether described in terms of a Monad or in terms of a relationship; 3 Exalted stages, 3 Ordinal stages, and 1 Pivotal/Neutral point. The Pivotal/Assimilative/Neutral Point is a point that can be called upon at ANY TIME during the process of the other 6 stages. This allows the Personality to gain its footing after a particularly difficult stage, if necessary. It is also the point in which you finalize a cycle so as to gain the benefits of the whole process you just completed. Some would call this point THE VOID. We agree with that phrase. [Tibtyc] Is the 4th stage like catching your breath? I mean the Neutral point. [Michael_Entity] What you are describing as a “halt” is more like a moment or period of time much like having your foot between two rungs on a ladder; except that you have forgotten that there is movement. With your emphasis on the suspension between steps, you may feel you are at a halt or even terribly ungrounded or non-directional. But we assure you that you are never at a halt. [Tibtyc] Actually the “halt” only refers to outer aspects. And I keep thinking of the do-re-mi system, the octave, [Michael_Entity] The 4th stage within either of the Monads would be MANIFESTATION, or the stage of tangibility. We will include with Troy’s transcription the 7 stages for the 4th and 5th Internal Monads for your further exploration. [Note: The 7 Stages for the 4th and 5th Internal Monads were never added to this transcript — nor on the yahoo group list. I’ve yet to locate that document. I did find “7 Stages of the 4th Internal Monad” in late April and have posted it separately. glb] [Later note: Both those articles are now posted in this library under their respective categories. jk]
  10. [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: September 2009] [Question] Greetings Michael, my question is about the Internal Monads; following is from a private session with Troy: “In fact, the completion of Internal Monads in the negative pole are vital to the process of evolution for the soul. Each Internal Monad will have a lifetime with a completion in the negative pole before a completion in the positive pole….A successful completion of a Soul Level means the successful completion in the Positive Pole for ALL Internal Monads within one life. This can take several lives to figure out how to build through each Internal Monad relative to that Soul Level.” Does every IM actually need to experience a lifetime apiece with each of the 7 IMs incomplete?! Any elaboration of this would be much appreciated. [Michael Entity] Before the late levels of the Mature cycle, it is fair to say that there is a completion in the negative pole for each Internal Monad as part of the evolution. After the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, this is no longer a consistency. In fact, before the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, there are often a multitude of Negative Pole completions of an Internal Monad before a completion in the Positive Pole. We speak in general here, but this is of such consistency that it is fair to speak so generally. There are exceptions to this consistency, but no rules. It simply seems to be the nature of how Essence builds upon experience. Many have heard the cliche that says one cannot appreciate the light without having experienced the darkness, and this is true for most for a long time, but eventually this is found to be an absurd concept. Any child can tell you that he or she does not have to drink soured milk to appreciate ice cream. And so it is that most of you eventually find your means of comprehending that does not require such fracturing, such pain, and struggle as a means to experience wholeness, joy, and ease. [Question] In the later mature, and old cycles, is it necessary (usually) to have many lives to process the first 3 IMs? [Michael Entity] The variations after that point are across the board, so to speak. The variations become a matter of creativity, and not confined to any default. This is because the “Negative Pole” is experienced differently than before. It is not always experienced as a “bad” thing, or a painful thing, but as a matter of experience that brings as much benefit as any other, and it is not avoided any more than it is preferred. It is simply a matter of choice, or a matter of allowing room for Personality to go as “awry” as it chooses. Some of the most exciting and creative adventures have been experienced by Essence through the Personalities who were the most “rogue.” However, the Negative Pole does not always feel so great to the Personality. In Older Soul Personalities that are most rejecting of Essence, the Personality always suspects “something” is not quite valid in that rejection and keeps an eye open for Essence, which allows room for Essence to help navigate within that lifetime.
  11. OMW - Mar 5, 2011 - Choice Vs Circumstances Troy Tolley, Michael Channel MEntity: Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand that we have been asked to discuss the sometimes-confusing subject of Choice, and how this may or may not conflict with the subject of Circumstances. First we will discuss the concept of Choice: this concept has been discussed to a great extent in our body of information, but much of the concept has been discussed in terms of its foundation, and not its "structure," so to speak. Choice is the most-powerful and immediate tool any consciousness has, and all forms of consciousness have Choice. That is an example of a foundational statement. This is a factual statement. But what is built upon that is often inaccurate and misleading. That fact that Choice is available to every fragment and every form of consciousness does not elaborate upon the DEGREE of Choice that a fragment or form of consciousness may have at its disposal. It also does not account for the degrees of consciousness that a fragment may have to have as a means to increase the capacity for choice. It also does not account for the restricting factors of any given life, relationship, or event. So the concept of choice becomes a painful, confusing, delusional, dishonest, and harmful structure built upon an empowering, clear, aware, honest and healing foundation. We clarify the difference between the "foundational" and the "structure" because there is no paradox and no conflict between the two, but when one is confused for the other, the conflicts and confusion can come. The concept that "All is Choice" is a foundational statement, but not a structural statement. ALL is Choice, but this does not elaborate upon the fact that there are variations on the dimensions of "you" who make these choices, and that while a choice may be made in one dimension, it is not one that is made in another. ALL is Choice, but this does not elaborate upon the fact that this is not a statement of permission, but a simple foundation of existence. It does not elaborate upon the evolution of choice-making, and that fragments learn how to choose in ways that match their growing consciousness and manifestation of Essence. This is why the choice between "murder" and "not murdering" becomes an easy choice as one evolves. So while "All is Choice," and "Choice is the most-powerful tool you have" are true, it will help to understand the structures that are built upon those concepts in varations that can make sense. All forms of consciousness have Choice, from the subatomic to the complexity of Sentience. The degree to which a consciousness is closer to Sentience is the degree to which that consciousness makes choices that range between atomic and anatomic, or put another way: in a range between reactionary to creative. Bacteria have Choice, but can only react to stimuli. Humans have Choice, and that can range between reaction to stimuli all the way to conscious, creative problem-solving and beyond. The more one only reacts to stimuli, the more one is bound by the atomic, or the lack of consciousness. The Soul Ages describe this process of learning how to choose, and choosing how to learn. The Soul Ages describe the widening range of realization for a Sentient Being to excercise its capacity for Choice. The Infant Soul does not have the same capacity for Choice as does an Old Soul. It must be LEARNED. And in a microcosmic reflection, the newborn child does not have the same capacity for choice that an adult has. The Old Soul child does not have the same capacity for choice that an Old Soul adult has. This is because that capacity must be REMEMBERED. The Internal Monads are a description of that remembering process. Every lifetime is a remembering process, and every new Soul Age is as well. Every new Soul Age is the equivalent of a new Personality, in many ways, because it is a new paradigm upon which the Essence must now build from an old paradigm. The first 3 Levels of any Soul Age, and the first 3 stages of the Internal Monads are entirely about regaining consciousness, or "remembering." The 4th Level/Stage is about the application and building upon that memory. The 5th is about the experimentation with those new structures; the 6th is about the integration of those experiments; and the 7th is the comprehension/archiving of all of the experiences gained across that Age or Lifetime or span of lifetimes. We share this with you because it is helpful to understand that process and why it is a part of our mapping of existence, but also because it can help you understand the spectrum that you may have as choice at any given time, in any given circumstance. CIRCUMSTANCES is a term that Troy chose, but we can work with this as a term that describes situations, scenarios, conditions, limitations, etc that appear to be, or are clearly beyond your control in any obvious way. CHOICE will ALWAYS exist in some form in ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. That range of choice will ALWAYS range between atomic to anatomic, or between reactionary to creative. It might even be fair to call the range as being between Reactionary to Conscious, and while that is fair, it is slightly misleading because there would still be some degree of consciousness to your reactionary choices. For instance, your compulsions: doing what you know you do not want to do, but doing it anyway. Compulsions are reactionary. Impulses are Creative. To return to the ideas of Foundation and Structure, like the statements about Choice, it would be true to say that one is born into Circumstances that are not the choices of the Personality, but that would be a foundational statement. It does not elaborate upon the fact that the Personality is a beautiful and brilliant extension of Essence who created the Personality through its capacity of choices, and that the circumstances were chosen as Essence's ideas for how best to explore the life as you. It could be argued, then, that the life is not "your" choice, and that would be true to some degree, but only as true as "you" are not manifesting or allowing Essence into the life. The more one aligns with Essence, manifests Essence, the more the life becomes a creative process, and not a pinball game of reaction to stimuli. Therefore, while Circumstances may be limiting, and your Choices restricted to the context of Circumstances, the CAPACITY for Choice is never limited. Within the most extreme of Circumstances, you will always have the choice ranging between reaction and creativity. You may not "choose" to die from a long-term illness in any way that seems obvious to you, but you CAN choose to react to that experience as a form of survival, or choose creative ways of dealing with it in a way that evolves you. You may not "choose" to be poor in any way that makes sense to you, but you CAN choose between constant reaction to the circumstances, and creative responses to the circumstances. You may not "choose" to grow old in a way that hurts, but you CAN choose between reacting to that pain, and being creative through it, around it, beyond it. You may not "choose" who challenges you, and who may die on you, or who may assault you, or who may praise you, but you CAN choose to default to reaction or to creative response. All of this is summed up in the cliche, but valid, statement that you may not choose what happens to you, but you do have a choice in what to do with what happens to you. The most extreme form of Circumstance within a life is what we will call SUFFERING. Suffering is a relative term, so we will not define any conditions for it beyond the fact that anyone can Suffer for any reason that he or she deems circumstances are beyond their control. SUFFERING is a natural part of being alive. It cannot be avoided, and it will happen to all of you in some way, some how, some time. Not because it is imposed upon you, but because each of you will go through a process of interpreting experiences in a way that cause Suffering. Each of you Suffer in every lifetime in some way. Even the Transcendental and hosts for the Infinite Souls suffer. This is because there will ALWAYS be Circumstances beyond your control in some way. In the same way that we described the Learning and Remembering process of Soul Ages and Internal Monads, so does the approach to Suffering evolve. Suffering is avoided at all costs as an Infant Soul, and as an infant child, but Suffering is eventually and actively embraced as the soul ages, and as the adult comes into maturity. To avoid Suffering is a Survival Reaction, and a valid one within context. To embrace Suffering is to embrace your Creative Force. This is why it is well-known that those who suffer within a lifetime tend to be the most creative. Suffering is one of the most fertile of experiences for generating a return to a Creative Force within. It is NOT the only way, but it is a way that is so often a part of the life that it has come to be counted upon by Essence in many ways. When one abdicates Choice, Suffering is painful and overwhelming. When one enlists Choice to any degree closer to Creativity, Suffering becomes a rich resource, and often a direct path back to the self, and to Essence. All Infinite Souls embraced Suffering in its entirety. All Transcendental Souls, as well. This is NOT because Suffering is "noble," but that it is a part of life, a part of living, a part of being alive, in a body, and within the structures of limitation that are built upon various foundations. To avoid Suffering is to remain locked in Survival Mode. To consciously embrace it as a part of life is to Evolve. This does not mean one must seek it out, though we doubt we need to warn of this since suffering is often found without "looking for it." There are three types of Suffering: Survival Suffering, Denial Suffering, and Conscious Suffering. Survival Suffering is a closed loop of Suffering that is often generated through circular blame, guilt, shame. This is not a "true" suffering, but one that is brought upon the self and can be broken at any moment, though may require support and intervention. Survival Suffering tends to cut one off from others, the world, relationships, and life. Denial Suffering is an open loop of Suffering that drags others into it as a means to help the fragment continue its denials, lies, refusals, delusions. This is not a "true" suffering, but one that is brought upon the self as a means to avoid responsibility and accountability. Denial Suffering often leaves a trail of broken relationships, hurt people, and can lead to sociopathic behaviors. Where Survival Suffering isolates the fragment, Denial Suffering creates closed allegiances and alliances that become defensive fences between the self and "reality." Conscious Suffering, or True Suffering, is when one recognizes that there is nowhere else to go, so to speak. When one "loses" a loved one, there is nowhere to go but to suffer the grief. When one struggles with illness, there is nowehere to go but to suffer the challenges. When one struggles with pain, there is nowhere to go but to suffer the endurance. Conscious Suffering is the willingness to stand in that, and let it be. Conscious Suffering is the willingness to be present for the experience. Willingness to be present is a willingness to own what power one has in the circumstance, regardless of how limited that power may be. Owning the power that one has in the most limited of circumstances is the embrace of Choice and Creativity. Embracing Choice and Creativity means allowing for uncertainty, and paves a rich path back to the core of the self and to Essence. While Suffering is not a "noble" thing, it does lead to noble characteristics that every fragment eventually embraces and evolves. The 7 Nobilities, if you will, are: PRESENCE or Self-Authority; STRENGTH or Endurance; INNOCENCE or Wisdom; CREAVITY or Solvency; EMPATHY or Self-Reflection; FORGIVENESS or Self-Responsibility; and TRUST or Experience. The first two are Action Oriented, resonating to King/Warrior respectively. The second two relate to Expression Axis, and Sage/Artisan respectively. The third set of two relates to the Inspirational, and Priest/Server respectively. And finally the Assimilative and Scholar. The "Nobilities" will tend to be emphasized in various degrees depending on the predominance of Overleaves across the Axes, and, of course the Role and Casting. We will OPEN THE QUEUE here for your questions regarding what we have shared so far. Type three asterisks *** to indicate that you have a question, and we will call upon you in order. QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [Maureen] What comments would you make re: the axiom – “If you have the choice choose to enjoy” related to today's material? Maureen, we think that is a valid statement, and in MOST of life circumstances, that choice for \enjoyment is present, but it would be a lie to say that it is a choice in every circumstance. It is rare that a fragment would or could choose to "enjoy" Suffering, itself, but one CAN choose to find moments of joy, or to allow moments of joy, however fleeting, to count, even in the midst of Suffering. If someone suffers from cancer, it would be irresponsible to tell that person to choose to enjoy the cancer, but it would be helpful to remind them that there is joy beyond the suffering, or alongside the suffering. Does this response offer some insight, Maureen? [Maureen] move towards inclusion rather than exclusion - yes thanks Yes, Maureen. That is a valid elaboration. [Corinne] Could you explain further the differences between structure and foundation from the beginning part? The difference between Foundation and Structure is the difference between what IS the concept and the DETAILS of that concept. The concept of a foundation for a home is fairly standard, for example, but what the details of that home may be as built upon any foundation is varying. It could be also be said to be the facts within the facts. CHOICE is a foundation for any form of conscious, but the details of how that choice is built, evolved, utilized, applied, etc is as varied as any home. Does this help clarify? [Corinne] Ok...it's clearer. Is this distinction relative to choice similar for the essence and the personality or different? Another example might be that you have a LIFE, and that is a Foundation, but what you DO WITH THAT LIFE is the structure built upon it. [Corinne] AH! I see. You will always have a range of Choice between Reaction and Creativity within any Circumstance, but you will not always understand or consciously choose your Circumstances. [Oscar] Hello Michaelses Would you care to elaborate on "...any way that seems obvious to you", which you mentioned in relation to possibility of Choice? For example, one may not "choose" a certain illness, but the choices made over time during the life may end up resulting in that illness. To that extent, one DOES CHOOSE the illness, but it is no way an obvious process. Another example might be that one may not "choose" to be attacked by a murderer or rapist, but the choices that lead one to be in a certain place at a certain time resulted in being accessible to the attacker. To that extent one DOES CHOOSE the path that leads to the attacker, but in no way that is fair to call an "obvious choice" made by a person. One may not choose to live with the aches and pains of growing older in a finite body, but one DOES CHOOSE to grow older, and thus the inherent conditions that go along with age must be included in that choice. Do these examples help to clarify? [Oscar] yes very much so, thanks [DanR] Michael, could you comment on a bias seen in fragments where they view their own suffering as arising from unfortunate external circumstances while they view other fragments' suffering as arising from poor choices? For example, “I am poor due to a bad upbringing and lack of opportunity while they are poor because they chose not to work hard.” Does overcoming this bias help with Essence evolution? The first example is one of Survival Suffering: blame on the past, on the upbringing, on the past. Survival Suffering is wrought with comparisons for the sake of excuses and alleviation of self-reflection and self-authority, self-responsibility, etc. Comparing Suffering is never insightful. It is about as useless as defining a line between Art and Not Art. By this we mean that while there are three types of Suffering that do have symptoms and behaviors distinct to each, they are still Suffering. Anyone who Suffers can use your help, and if you suffer, you can always use your own help. Therefore, yes, the transcendence of comparisons will always help one to tend to his own Creative solutions for his suffering, rather than to ensure them because they are justified when compared to others'. Comparisons are helpful for navigation, but if not used for navigation, they become the parameters of centrifugal vs creative force. Does this help in answering your question? [DanR] Yes, thank you very much Michael. [Bobbi] Having recently been dropped by a friend of 35+ years, I am left wondering if my change from uneasy ally in her Denial Suffering to offering self-empowerment/self-love suggestions caused the freeze-out. Do I try to get back in, or let her evolution continue without me? Your observations are valid. The "freeze-out" is often the modus operandi of those in Denial Suffering, and if we see the correct fragment, your assessment is valid. As mentioned before, Suffering is Suffering, regardless of Denial, Survival, or Conscious, and any Suffering person can use your help. The choice is yours to make, but there is a risk that it could lead you to your own Suffering in some way. And if you are willing, then that can be a path of Creative Force. We would say that it would be helpful to continue what you have already done, which is to continue along lines that are on your own terms, and not catering to the perceived delusions. [Bobbi] Would the risk be rejection? [Bobbi] Again. There is a way to return to the friendship with more offers of support and intervention without it being consuming, and that would be through calling upon one of the 7 Nobilities that come naturally to you, or that you wish to take on as a challenge. [Bobbi] Thank you. Very helpful. When one moves into uncertainty, risk, and limitation of choice, but recognizes that choice is still an option, then calling upon one of the 7 Nobilities can help one to focus the choices. [Bobbi] Good to know and have in the holster! For instance, in your case, you can make the choice to take the risk because you are willing to challenge your Empathy, or to utilize your Forgiveness, or to encourage her Strength by exemplifying it in yourself, etc. As we said, Suffering is not the Nobility, in itself, but from Suffering comes the 7 Nobilities, and one eventually learns to call upon those actively and willingly in the lifetime. When one actively calls upon a Nobility, then Suffering is minimized, if not diminished entirely. [Bobbi] I must have missed that in the other books. It is not there. Our teaching is not completed in any book. [Jill] Would it be accurate to say that someone who is highly sensitive is highly reactive due to interpretation of experiences? Highly Sensitive does not automatically equate Highly Reactive, though the phrase "highly sensitive" is often imposed upon those who are more obvious in their reactions or creative responses. Highly-sensitive people simply react OR respond quickly. Those who are highly-sensitive require more downtime for calibration and recalibration, since their sensitivity equates quickness. On the surface, and often, yes, this is reactionary, but it can evolve into a quickness of consciousness and creativity just as easily as anyone can. Does this lend insight to your question? [Jill] Is sensitivity due to Overleaves, imprinting etc.? Sensitivity can be a result of any number of combinations, but most-often it is the result of AWARENESS. When one is "sensitive" in the sense that one is offended by the slightest thing, it is NEW, or RAW Awareness, whereas one who is "sensitive" in a sense is intuitive and transcendent of the senses, it is INTEGRATED Awareness. [Jill] Thank you. I have been struggling with the distinction for quite some time Sensitivity is a state that every fragment strives for, and cycles through in terms of rawness vs integration. Being easily upset or offended only means that one has not found acceptable solutions to the awareness that has come to be, and this can be the case in a spectrum of situations. For instance, one can be sensitive to the behaviors of others in a way that upsets one because this emphasizes the differences between oneself and another. What to do with that awareness is then a process of Integration. [Jill] So we can truly feel empathy on the way to agape? One can be sensitive to the plight of animals, or the oppressed, and but raw awareness will be ineffective and reactionary, often exacerbating or defeating the awareness, but integrated awareness will be responsive, effective, creative, and educational on behalf of that awareness. Jill, one cannot be in a state of agape without empathy. We will conclude this workshop with a suggestion for each of you to examine the 7 Nobilities and to look at which ones are more challenging, which ones are natural to you, and which ones have not been considered. Look at the risks you may be willing to take in the life, and call upon one that you feel could help minimize the potential for suffering. Examine where and how in your life you feel you suffer because of circumstances, and see if you can stand in it Consciously so that it is transformed into a path to your Creative Force. [Corinne] What are the differences between the Nobilities you capitalized and those you didn't? While there may be variations in the limitations and freedoms relative to Choice, you will ALWAYS carry with you the spectrum between Reaction and Response/Creativity. Corrine, we added a more personalized sub-description for convenience. It could be said that the capitalized is the foundation, and the lower-case is the structure; or put another way, the concept and the application. [Corinne] I see. Thanks. We must conclude here today. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
  12. Michael Speaks Live June 23, 2013 An Expanded Session on the Third Internal Monad Channel: Troy Tolley Hello, Michael. Today, we'd like a "topic level" comprehensive overview about the 3rd Internal Monad. I'd like the topic to include identifying those who are stuck in negative poles of the 3rd IM and suggestions on how to help someone transition into positive poles, both those who accept the teachings and those who don't. Is there any one stage in particular that seems to cause the most trouble? Just as the 4th IM can be somewhat measured by how well the person is learning to like him/herself, is there something key for the 3rd IM person? [MEntity] We will address each of your questions as we cover the topic. [MEntity] Before we go into the specificities of the Third Internal Monad, we will share a brief review of some of the developmental aspects of the Internal Monads, in general. This is not unrelated, and will help shed light on those specifics of the Third Internal Monad. [MEntity] The 7 Internal Monads can be best understood as the "levels" within a Soul Age LEVEL. So, for example, to move from the first Level of a Soul Age to the second Level, these 7 Internal Monads must be successfully completed within at least one lifetime within that Level. [MEntity] As you know, a Soul Age Level is rarely a single lifetime, and are often several lifetimes. The average being about 7 lifetimes per Soul Age LEVEL. [MEntity] In one lifetime, one may successfully transit only one or two Internal Monads. [MEntity] Though the success for any given Personality/lifetime within a Level may be more or less in terms of how many Internal Monads are successfully transited, the totality of successes are not lost to the progress of Essence. [MEntity] In other words, if the first lifetime within that Level completes the First, Second, and Third Internal Monads, but the next lifetime only completes the Second, it does not regress Essence's progress through the Level. [MEntity] This is because the Personality has its own progress, which contributes to the overall progress of Essence which is never regressive since it is a constant. So if one Personality contributes to Essence's move through a Soul Age Level by progressing through the Third Internal Monad in one life, but the next Personality does not do so in the next, the Essence would still be considered to have evolved through the Level. [MEntity] In the earlier Soul Ages, there is a fairly high level of stop-start among the various Personalities that contribute to each Level, because their connection to Essence is a bit more distorted or rejected. [MEntity] For example, in the Infant Soul Age Levels, the aim is for Survival, so the First Internal Monad of each Level is often the only Internal Monad completed, over and over, and then the subsequent Internal Monads are approached, slowly and eventually. [MEntity] In the Baby Soul Age, there are more who get "stuck" at the Second Internal Monad, and Young Souls are more prone to getting "stuck" in the Third, while Mature stall in the Fourth, and Old Souls in the Fifth. [MEntity] This is not a "bad thing." This is merely indicative of the themes of emphasis for that Soul Age. [MEntity] With each successful completion of an Internal Monad by one Personality, the momentum is generated for support in successfully completing the next Internal Monads by any subsequent Personality. However, that access to momentum is dependent upon the Personality's access to Essence. [MEntity] This is why the older Soul can complete more Internal Monads within a Level than those who are younger in Soul Age. [MEntity] When there is no access, or limited access, then progression is dependent upon Review between lifetimes. [MEntity] Internal Monads are our way of describing where a Personality is in regaining consciousness, awareness, relative to its Essence. [MEntity] Remember: Soul Age and Level are descriptions of where the Essence is, relative to remembering Tao. Internal Monads describe where one is within the process of remembering Essence. The latter contributes tremendously to the former. [MEntity] We share all of this background and review with you on this subject because this is relevant to how the older soul experiences the use of the information describing the Internal Monads. [MEntity] We share this because it is important to remember that, no matter what Soul Age, EVERY NEW BIRTH OF PERSONALITY IS AN EQUIVALENT OF INFANT SOUL. [MEntity] Everything is reset. [MEntity] The Instinctive Center (or localized Akashic Records) is "inserted" into the new lifetime and new body and new Personality, but it is then up to that Personality to access that, and regain and develop and progress consciousness. [MEntity] The Essence does all it can to set up the life so that remembering can come as easily as possible, but there is no pressure or hurry from the perspective of Essence. [MEntity] Because Humans are social creatures, the progress through the Internal Monads will tend to be relative to the average Soul Age and its influences on the culture, society, and available imprinting. [MEntity] So, regardless of Soul Age, it can be quite difficult to move beyond the Third or Fourth Internal Monad at this time as a Human. [MEntity] No matter how effectively Essence has set up the life of the Old Soul Personality, it is being born into a world dominated by Baby and Young Soul (Second and Third Internal Monad) themes, and only recently supportive of Mature (or Fourth Internal Monad) themes that help one progress and gain awareness. REGAINING CONSCIOUSNESS [MEntity] There are very few ways to prod a return to consciousness earlier than others among the culture or society. [MEntity] One of the only ways to do this is to provide opportunities for struggles and challenges early in the life. [MEntity] The more one is moved into conditions that prompt self-reflection and awareness, the more one regains (or gains) conscuousness. [MEntity] This is risky because the Personality must make the choices necessary for the use of those opportunities, but could easily slip into the development of entrenching Chief Negative Features. [MEntity] This is not to say that Essence plans your pain and suffering as a way to wake up, because pain and suffering are relative to the choices of the Personality, but it is fair to say that any challenges and obstacles early in the life were probably a part of the life plan. [MEntity] Because the Personality is more asleep in those early years of life, it can be fairly easy to stumble into or upon, or to create those opportunities for obstacles, struggles, and challenges that prompt one to wake up. [MEntity] The "It Gets Better" Campaign is an example of how those who have remembered enough, who have awakened enough, are reaching out to those who may be still asleep and struggling, to remind them that the best can be made of the worst. [MEntity] Essence makes the gamble in these older soul lifetimes that one will remember this on some level, and not give up, but continue into the wakefullness that will then allow for the true Manifestation of the life to come fully. [MEntity] All of this may seem a long prelude to the details of the Third Internal Monad, but for our students who are in the Third Internal Monad, or for those who know someone in the Third Internal Monad, or for helping you to understand those in the world who are "stuck" in the Third Internal Monad, it is vital to understand that this Internal Monad is the most asleep any Personality can be, relative to Soul Age. [MEntity] The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you. [MEntity] And no matter how old your soul is, if you are stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or passing through it, this will be the most asleep you can ever be in your life, no matter how awake you may feel you are. [MEntity] We will clarify here that "asleep" and "awake" are convenient ways to describe the difference between navigating the life based on what is happening to you versus navigating the life based on what you do with what happens to you. This is highly simplistic, but fair. [MEntity] For our older students, there will tend to be two lines of consciousness in effect before the completion of the Fourth Internal Monad: one is relative to the growth necessary for that current Personality, and the other is relative to the wisdom that is intuitively accessible from Essence. [MEntity] We think that many of our students will relate to having thought they were quite aware, quite advanced, quite wise in their teen years, and rightly so, but that even that paled in comparison to that which came in the years of life and progress of later Internal Monads. [MEntity] This is because the division between Essence and Personality is much less in the older Soul Ages, but this will rarely usurp the necessary experiences that the current Personality must gain before making that wisdom applicable and have context. [MEntity] So to all of our Third Internal Monad students, we assure you: no matter how wise you feel you are now, you will be wiser, and there are those who are wiser. [MEntity] For those who have successfully completed the Third Internal Monad, and know one who is stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or is passing through the Third Internal Monad, we remind you that you were there, once, too, and to forget this is an indication of where you may be stuck in your own Internal Monad. [MEntity] We will now describe the Third Internal Monad and its passage in detail: [MEntity] The First Stage of INITIATION is begun through REBELLION, the Negative Pole, and eventually moved to the Positive Pole of EXPLORATION. [MEntity] There is no way around the Rebellion as part of the process of the Third Internal Monad, but how that Rebellion plays out is entirely unique to every individul and the determined necessity for what represents rebellion. [MEntity] For the most part, the rebellion will target any of the most signficant influences in the life at the time. This influence can be positive or negative; it will not matter. There will be rebellion. [MEntity] For the older soul, this can even be toward the self, particularly if one feels the self is the most influential force in the life. [MEntity] Most sense of trust is tossed aside during this stage, and this prompts the Personality to begin its search for independence. [MEntity] If one stays in Rebellion long enough, this can be quite ugly, messy, and completely incoherent and chaotic, or the prompt toward independence can move one into Exploration, the Positive Pole of the stage. [MEntity] No matter how close one has been to a resource of nurturing, shelter, food, etc, Rebellion will come, and depending upon how the Rebellion goes, eventually Exploration. [MEntity] Along with the Rebellion and Exploration comes a necessity for creating new bonds of Trust. [MEntity] This comes with the uncomfortable shift away from those inherently trusted sources and toward new sources. [MEntity] For example, no matter how wonderful a relationship one may have had with a caretaker/parent, this stage will bring with it a sense that one needs to create one's own network of trust, rather than depend upon those inherent to birth and upbringing. [MEntity] This is a vital part of the Third Internal Monad because this is how all of you found each other. [MEntity] The bonds one shares with those outside of the bonding born of formative years are vital for finding and sustaining in the life, especially for the older soul whose "family" of Entity Mates and Agreements is often scattered around the planet. [MEntity] As one moves away from Rebellion and into Exploration, Trust begins to return, being built within new networks. [MEntity] The healing of any damage or threat or rejection of the inherent Trust already in place begins, as well. [MEntity] This leads to the 2nd Stage: INTROSPECTION, entered through the Negative Pole of Self-Consciousness, and eventually moved into Consciousness. [MEntity] The sense of movement toward independence has now come, but now the Personality has no idea what that means, how to do it, if it can be done, and why it is even so important. [MEntity] This creates an interesting dynamic where one must now rely upon resources from others, but be establishing independence. [MEntity] Self-Consciousness is a kind of hyper awareness of the self as a body, but without the consciousness to bring grace of movement to it. [MEntity] This extends into communication, thinking, feeling, actions, plans, ideals, etc. [MEntity] It can be quite confusing. [MEntity] The establishment of independence seems contrary to the necessity for dependence on others as a resource. [MEntity] Particularly if that resource was just rejected during Rebellion. [MEntity] Eventually, there comes a shift in consciousness away from the self in a way that begins to return to the inclusion of others. This a shift from self-absorbed self-consciousness to actual Consciousness. [MEntity] Consciousness as the Positive Pole here means bringing awareness to include that beyond the self. This is the beginning of the awareness that independence is more about how one accesses, uses, manages, and contributes resources than it is about simply having or taking as a means to serve the self. [MEntity] This move into Consciousness is a move toward inclusiveness of those whom one must turn to for resources, help, support, etc. and a move away from seeing these as threatening, shaming, or embarrassing people in authority over the life. [MEntity] This shift toward Consciousness brings about the 3rd Stage: REALIZATION. [MEntity] The Realization that one now can turn to others for support, resource, help, etc. and still sustain the momentum of independence leads to DEMANDS, the Negative Pole of this Stage. [MEntity] Now the struggle for independence can mean that others must comply to that process for the one in the Third Internal Monad, work around his or her needs, wants, demands, etc. [MEntity] This begins the process of Realization that is all about Responsibility, and this is one of the only ways one learns about what one IS responsible for, what one CAN be responsible for, and how to work with those who are, can, and will be responsible for you. [MEntity] As one Realizes the parameters of Responsibility through Demands, this shifts toward IDEALS. [MEntity] Again, this is a matter of shifting consciousness toward greater concentric circles of inclusion, so now that one has a better sense of what his or her responsibility is for the self, the planning can now begin for the long-term. [MEntity] Ideals require a coming together of parts, and an awareness of the steps necessary for the cohesion of a vision. [MEntity] This is the first Stage where one begins to contemplate the concept of "purpose" and what one wants to do with the life in a way that is meaningful to the self, capable of sustaining independence, and contributes. [MEntity] Ideals then lead to the 4th Stage: MANIFESTATION, entered through ANGER, and moved toward CHOICE. [MEntity] Once one has a vision in place, or is fairly set on some Ideals, then the Anger comes. [MEntity] Anger here describes the sense of the daunting tasks, actions, time, energy, etc. that is realized is necessary for fulfilling responsibilities and sense of purpose. It can feel quite overwhelming and one can feel helpless, which is the underpinning of Anger. [MEntity] This is usually when one first begins to depend greatly upon the self as source of income, shelter, food, etc. [MEntity] Eventually, the Anger (helplessness) is found to be alleviated by the capacity to CHOOSE. [MEntity] This is the first time one begins to grasp the magnitude of impact of the power of Choice. [MEntity] "If I choose not to do this, this will happen." "If I choose to do this, that will happen." [MEntity] Biologically speaking, this is the first time the brain is truly capable of independent choice, comprehensive choice. [MEntity] And so the practice of choosing begins. [MEntity] And this leads to the 5th Stage of CONTENTMENT that is first entered through RESENTMENT, and eventually toward RESPONSIBILITY. [MEntity] The Resentment comes from the push/pull experience within that is about the choices having been made so far, recognizing those choices that were harmful versus those that were helpful, and feeling the weight of this power now being solely one's own. [MEntity] However fleeting, the Resentment will come. [MEntity] This can lead to blaming others for the condition of the life as it is, or blaming the self for mistakes, sinking Resentment into regrets. [MEntity] Eventually, one begins to remember that the power of choice does not just come with a trail of exhaustion, mistakes, and regrets, but with the power to heal, create, transform nearly everything. [MEntity] This is when the truth of Responsibility begins to be understood, not just as an obligatory state for independence, but as a powerful ally in creating the life. [MEntity] Love for the life begins to flow again more freely, and with all of the previous Internal Monad Stages completed, one now has Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, and Responsibility as strengths, and this brings the 6th Stage: MAGNETIZATION [MEntity] Once Magnetization activates, it is the first time there is a sense that there are others in the life whom one does not know, still needs to find, and that they are important, as well as that you are important to them. [MEntity] This entrance into Magnetization is often marked by LONELINESS. [MEntity] This is the awareness of separation. [MEntity] While one is fighting so hard for independence, it can be difficult to realize just how far one has pushed others out of the life, or how far one will need to go in nurturing the attraction of support for the new sense of ideals and directions. [MEntity] Loneliness can come on strong, and be overwhelming. [MEntity] But this begins to shift when one begins to put those previous Positive Poles into effect. [MEntity] There comes an awareness that one is not alone just because one is alone, and that the fight for independence and self-sufficiency was not just for the sake of separating oneself from others, but as a way to be there FOR ONESELF. [MEntity] The awareness that one can be alone with the self and not equate that with loneliness shifts toward the Positive Pole of this Stage: Support. [MEntity] This is when one begins to know that one can care for the self along the way to caring for someone else, or being cared for, or along the way to any kind of exchange, support, Agreement. [MEntity] When this internal strength of Support comes into play, then the shift toward the last stage, Emanation, begins. [MEntity] To this point, all Stages can be progressed through, regardless of the Pole. [MEntity] The successful progression would be from Negative to Positive, Negative to Positive, weaving through the Stages from the more limited end to the more expansive, and eventually out of the Internal Monad. [MEntity] If one is in the Positive Pole, then one has explored the Negative Pole. [MEntity] So one cannot move from Positive to Positive to Positive, etc. [MEntity] However, one can move from Negative to Negative to Negative. [MEntity] If one has done this, then one cannot complete the Internal Monad, and will remain with an incomplete, or "stuck" Internal Monad in that final Negative Pole, and all before it. [MEntity] So the person who is with an incomplete 3rd Internal Monad beyond the 7th Stage would be one marked by Rebellion, Self-Consciousness, Demanding, Angry, Resentful, Alone, and Conclusive. [MEntity] And this will Emanate from them. [MEntity] Until one has closed out the Third Internal Monad successfully, these will dominate the life. [MEntity] In most cases, this will show up most obviously when matched against anyone or anything perceived as a threat to ones own authority, status, position, or value, or against anyone or anything that is seen as having more authority, status, position or value. [Maureen] Even if one has completed Stages 1 to 6 in the positive poles Michael -- but is "just" stuck at the 7th Stage? [MEntity] Depending upon the Soul Age where this Internal Monad is stuck, this concept of authority, status, and value is relative. For example, the Mature Soul may see this in the context of relationships and intimacy, whereas the Old Soul may see this in terms of uniqueness, wisdom, spirituality, etc. But both will be preoccupied with issues of responsibility, blame, etc. [MEntity] For one who has moved through the Positive Poles of each Stage before the 7th, Conclusivity tends to be brief, and is usually marked by a panic of questions related to "What if!" [MEntity] "What if I don't want to do this with my life?!" "What if I had made a different choice!?" "What if I am not cut out to do this?" etc. [MEntity] For someone who has completed all previous Stages in the Positive Pole, if he or she were to be stuck at this point, it would tend to remain in that spinning, questioning, uncertainty of life. There is such a terror of Conclusivity that they will, ironically, remain stuck. [MEntity] This would continue until one returns to the power of Choice, and remembers that this is the difference between conclusion and confidence. [MEntity] The Positive Pole of Emanation is Confidence, so the successful closure of the Third Internal Monad is a sustained reliance on those new internal strengths of Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, Responsibility, and Support, all leading to the nurturing of Confidence. [MEntity] The incomplete Third Internal Monad leads one forward into the life in a state of SEPARATION. [MEntity] There will tend to be a feeling as if one is separate, alone, always fighting or struggling against someone or something holding back the life, etc. [MEntity] The successfully completed Third Internal Monad would tend to bring with it DIFFERENTIATION, rather than Separation. This is an acceptance of your differences, the differences of others, and a sense of value for those within and around. [MEntity] It is one thing to feel different from others, and quite another to live in the illusion that you are separate and alone. [MEntity] The unsuccessful completion of the Third Internal Monad is usually marked by a constant need to prove oneself, whereas the successful completion of the Third Internal Monad tends to be an acceptance of oneself. [MEntity] The acceptance of oneself then leads to the 4th Internal Monad where one learns to LIKE oneself. [MEntity] To help someone through the Third Internal Monad can be quite difficult, as this is a time when he or she is most resistant to any help, any insight, and any sense. [MEntity] If you are the one going through the Internal Monad, then it is simply up to you to learn how to make the choices that support yourself toward independence. If you are a loved one of someone going through the Third Internal Monad, then it may often be a matter of allowing yourself to adapt to their process all along the way, and resist taking ANYTHING personally. As soon as you take this person personally, it can be devastating. [MEntity] QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [MEntity] Though we know this session has gone quite long, we will answer questions for the next 10 minutes as best we can. [Diane_HB] What's the difference between accepting oneself and liking oneself? [MEntity] Imagine the difference between accepting the differences between yourself and your family, and liking your family. Or the difference between accepting your job, and liking your job. Or accepting the differences between you and a Republican, and liking that Republican. [Diane_HB] That makes sense. [Jana_K] You have mentioned that "The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad is in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you." Is there something about the third level of any Soul Age that makes one more prone to be stuck/asleep? [MEntity] The Third Levels are marked by Introspection in most cases of any 7 Stages or Levels. This tends to turn one within and away, or become preoccupied with the internal processes, tending only to external processes in ways that serve those internal processes. This can be as obvious as a self-serving, greedy person to as subtle as an Old Soul who turns away from the world for fear it may affect their sense of peace. [MEntity] Even the Young Soul Age is entirely about Introspection, despite its emphasis on the external world. It is about how that external world can serve the self, based on personal need and want. [MEntity] So in an Age, Level and Stage where Introspection is so compounded, the person is quite "asleep." [MEntity] Or rather, can be. [MEntity] One can be awake and as conscious as possible at any Stage, Level, or Age. [MEntity] Some Ages, Levels, and Stages are easier to be more awake, mostly because of the nature of the emphasis of each. [ClaireC] What effect, if any, does "helicopter" parenting have on a child's ability to move through the IM's? [hovering] [MEntity] This would depend entirely upon the nature of the child. For some, this would tend to make the rebellion ever more pronounced, and for others it may delay this Internal Monad indefinitely. [MEntity] For children with more Fluid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more rebellion. [MEntity] For children with more Solid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more delays. [MEntity] By Fluid and Solid we mean Expressive/Inspirational, versus Action/Assimillative. [Kurtis] What are some key ways you can help someone progress at each of the different stages in the 3rd Internal Monad? Other than simply letting them be, since they have a tendency to ignore suggestions and etc... [MEntity] More than just letting them be, BE THERE. That is all you can do. There will be so many moments of embarrassment, confusion, chaos, shame, blame, etc. that what will be remembered and valued most is that people remained, continued to love, to care, and saw beyond the process to the person. [MEntity] That is the single most powerful thing one can do for those in or stuck in the Third Internal Monad, but this would need to be recognised as a choice, not an obligation or imposition. [Bobby] The further one gets past a "typical" time of completion for this monad, especially once they have entered their 4th and even 5th IMs, generally, how would you expect to experience such a personality? [MEntity] That would, again, depend upon the nature of the person. The more Fluid Roles and Overleaves would tend to exemplify the negative traits describing the negative poles of every stage passed through to-date in some way, while the more Solid Roles and Overleaves would tend to project those negative traits onto others and see them as issues within others. [MEntity] We must conclude here for today. We think we have responded to each question, as well as the original set, though we can certainly continue to elaborate in further exchanges. [MEntity] Good evening to each of you.

    20140706 Ask Michael

Ask Michael in Live Session Open Floor July 6, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley [Hani] There are claims made of multiple Essences utilizing the same body by switching in and out over the lifetime. Is this possible? I am not talking about walk in and walk out [MEntity] Only one Essence can ever "inhabit" a body. The body cannot act as a revolving door for Essences. Though one body can have been host to 2 or more Essences across a lifetime, it is never at once, and rarely more than 2. The shift between one Essence to another is often traumatic, or at least done through the exploitation of a trauma, and takes up to 7 years for full transition. It is not a process that is taken lightly. [Hani] I understand, thank you [MEntity] However, the Personality and/or Essence of a body can act as a conduit for as many Essences as it wishes. This is how the Transcendental Soul Manifests. It is only one Essence representing the whole of the Entity, but all of the fragments of that Entity have access to all that is that body's experiences and life. This is, also, how Guides work, and Essence Twins when one is not extant. When there is a Personality who senses fragmentation, it is usually relative to the Personality, not variations of Essences. That Personality is likely compartmentalized, divided, fractured, and has evolved into facets that either lose contact with one another, or revolve as distinct facets around a central core trait. Every Personality has sub-personalities, but for some, these can become distinct facets that have no communication with one another, such as is the case with Dissociative Identity Disorder, but if there is communication, the range can be from "normal" variations on Personality to accommodate various contexts of life, to extreme facets that, while still communicating, identify as separate. [Kurtis] Hi Michael, much like in past exchanges I'd like an elaboration of both Perseverance Mode and Power Mode that can cater to all soul ages, and much like before, an explanation of the - and +Poles as well. [MEntity] PERSEVERANCE MODE is the Ordinal, Action Mode. The Mode describes how one fulfills the Goal, and how one Relates. In its Positive Pole, there is Persistence, and in its Negative Pole, there is Unchanging. PERSISTENCE is the capacity to navigate around, over, and through obstacles, whereas UNCHANGING is the capacity to repeatedly confront obstacles. In Persistence, there is a sense of one's position relative to an obstacle or direction, and these are known to be dynamic. There is awareness that both the obstacle/direction and the one acting can change, evolve, alter, etc. In Unchanging, this dynamic is lost. It is no longer a dance, but a matter of pushing forward or into, and knocking down or clearing a path that has been determined. There is only a sense of direction or movement if that obstacle is overcome. Consider the difference between one amputee who has lost her legs and finds a way to work with her obstacles, while another determines that if those legs are gone, then everything on the other side of that is lost, unless those legs are returned. One is Persistence. One is Unchanging. When one is Unchanging, it is the Positive Pole of the partner Mode, Aggression, that will help to move one back into Persistence. The Positive Pole of Aggression is Dynamism. In other words, there is no division between self and obstacle/direction. They are parts of an equation that describe the paths of life. Both contribute to the path. Unchanging is when one has determined that the obstacle is in the way of the path. Power is Presence, then. When one owns one's presence, or power, there is Authority. This is simply the management of expression in a way that is responsible, considered, and aware of its impact on others. When one depends on others as their source of presence, or power, then it falls into Oppression. This is true on the scale of oppression that one sees regarding minorities or non-sentient creatures, as well as in terms of the self. To Oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission one seeks or takes from others. Put another way: To oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission for expression one seeks or takes from others. Or, to oppress others is to draw power and presence from restricting expression of others. For one to move out of the Negative Pole of Power, one needs to slide to the Positive Pole of Caution, Deliberation. When this is regarding self-oppression, it is when one chooses a specific way or context of expressing oneself, rather than not expressing oneself at all. When this is regarding oppression of others, it is the ownership of how one has interpreted the expression or presences of others as deliberately affecting oneself, when, in fact, it has not. Deliberation is merely the slowing down of thought so as to be careful in how one experiences or delivers expression. Though we can continue to elaborate upon these, we must consider the queue. [Maureen] Michael, I can see how Personal Truths line up: HONESTY: Truth, SINCERITY: Love, INTEGRITY: Energy, but I’d like your take on how Global Truths and Universal Truths line up with Truth, Love and Energy. The one that I’m having the most trouble reconciling is the Global Truth of NATIONAL that lines up with Love. I’m not sure how that fits as many of us Older Souls don’t see “Love” of a country or being nationalistic as fitting in with our larger view of “the world”. If there is time, would you provide a short explanation for the Global Truths and the Universal Truths so we can see how they align with Truth, Love and Energy? If not, just an explanation of the Global Truth, NATIONAL: Love, would be appreciated. [MEntity] Nationalism/Nationalistic is not the same thing as Love for one's country. The former tends to be built upon notions of superiority, whereas the latter is built upon gratitude, nostalgia, and appreciation. When one tends to one's home, it can be from notions of superiority to one's neighbors, or it can be from the sense of importance to nurture one's space. This is true on the National scale, as well. The people of a Nation are benefited when there is Love of those peoples. This can be a dividing line in Politics, for example. Self-preservation based in superiority, or nurturing on a grand scale for as many as possible. However, keep in mind that our response for corresponding Truth, Love, and Energy to the variations of truth within each category of truth, is only for convenience, not from literal representation. It may be more accurate to see these as Axes, not as specific terms. So, for example, Honesty is Expressive, Personal Truth. Sincerity is Inspirational, Personal Truth. Integrity is Active, Personal Truth. Remember that Truths are relative here. Community is Expressive Global Truths, or how a Community expresses, represents itself within the spectrum of how other communities do so. National is Inspirational Global Truth, or how a people of a nation feel about their place on the planet among other nations. Planetary is Active Global Truths, or how a planet of people behaves in relation to other planets/off-planet life. In Universal Terms, every single fragment will have a Body, Mind, and Soul, and these are conduits for expression, inspiration, and action, and this is true no matter where, when, or who you would experience. We think we have expanded on these enough for now, but we can further clarify these in further discussions. [JanaK] I have a follow up question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” throw out, which I would like more clarification on. I will state how I understood it, so please correct anything that I have misunderstood. So if I understand it correctly, what determines whether the Personality is stuck, is whether they do or don’t complete the Review and reunite with Essence. If they don’t complete it and don’t unite with Essence, then they keep literally reincarnating, living through variations on the same lifetime (presumably this happens in separate parallels). They keep doing this, until they evolve enough to be able to reunite with Essence, in which they sometimes need to be helped. You have also said, that in this way they all do get to eventually complete all 7 IMs. Yet, I also thought one can complete Review and reunite with Essence without completing all 7 IMs? Are all personalities stuck until they have lived in some way (parallel or looping) till 7th IM in positive? [MEntity] Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc. will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. Those Personalities that fall into a loop are those that do not complete an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, or resign to the Negative Pole of an Internal Monad. That Personality will "loop" until it has completed the Internal Monad relative to what it had been trying to complete, and then it can move into Review. However, it is quite common that these Personalities will just continue to completion of all 7 Internal Monads, however many loops that would take. It Reviews, but mostly for the sake of updating Essence. The Personality is not quite capable of full comprehension until there is at least one Personality that has completed all 7 Internal Monads. Then the gathering of all Personalities from the Soul Age compile experiences for Review that launches the Essence into the next Soul Age. Because of the uniting of experiences and processes, then all Personalities that are a part of that benefit and, technically, each completes all 7 Internal Monads relative to their own lives. Those Personalities in a loop will have done so for themselves by this time, and will join the evolution into the next Soul Age, or will remain and continue in their loops, until either the completion of the 7th Internal Monad on their own, or help comes. Each of you will likely have several "loops" that will need to be collected from across your Soul Ages when you get to your 7th Level of the Old Soul Age. [Bobby] Since it's my understanding that after an Entity cycles off that Casting plays a larger part than the Role does, would you briefly describe generally what those of you that are Sage-cast "do"? [MEntity] It is more nuanced than only Casting, with your Casting within the Entity being a contributing factor. In the same way that all Sages will not manifest the same way while incarnating, neither will all Sage-Cast in the Entity. But there will be a common theme of Cardinal Expression. So, regardless of the nuances, those who are Sage-Cast will be those who spread information, communicate, bring levity, offer simple and profound insight. One of the nuances to consider is that the Role then tends to become the function that Casting had while incarnating. So a Sage-Cast Warrior while incarnating might be understood as a Warrior-Cast Sage when cycled off in the Entity. The other nuance would be the Cadence Group and Greater Cadence, of course, as well as Position. But, in general, the Sage-Cast will help tell the stories of the Entity. [ClaireC] Michael, could you tell us where horses are in the hierarchy of the animal kingdom and how their Animal-Companion bond with humans is affected by the fact that they are often "working" animals? Is it any different than trained, performing dogs or circus animals? [MEntity] Though there is hierarchy of intelligence among most domestic or domesticated animals, there is very little difference emotionally. There are differences, but little. The range of intelligence only determines how that species can communicate its emotions, and how it organizes its experiences. This goes for chickens, cows, pigs, horses, birds, dogs, cats, etc. We are going to define "domesticated" as any of those species in captivity with which one can develop a relationship. There are many "pets" that fall outside of that, such as many reptiles or insects, and then there are some that fall outside of the category of "pets" that have evolved relationships with Humans, such as Bees. What the individuals or groups within that domesticated species do only has bearing insofar as how it contributes to their experience of Emotional evolution. Those creatures that are nurtured as a whole tend to evolve faster in their emotional intelligence than those that are not. For example, dogs, cats, and horses have keen emotional worlds that range across a wide spectrum of emotions, while chickens tend to suffer from extreme terror and displacement due to the mass suffering. All non-sentient creatures tend to default to Instinctive methods for managing suffering and pain, and this is for the sake of protection against being seen as weak, vulnerable, etc. to other predators. Even the most intelligent of dogs, horses, cats, pigs, etc. will often refrain from reveal of pain or suffering for that reason. Therefore, working horses who are treated well may feel a great sense of purpose and bonding, while other working horses relegated to strict uses, such as carriage horses or race horses, suffer greatly, even if not in obvious ways. Care and feeding are not all that are necessary for the quality of life for the more emotionally-complex creatures. The more social the species, the more likely the suffering is reduced to strict work and use. Watching horses running freely in a field together versus watching a horse chained to a cart alongside Central Park is all that is necessary to know this, if one is practicing empathy. [ClaireC] "Beast of burden" comes to mind. [MEntity] We wish to be clear that the differentiation between suffering and pain is a matter of time. More emotionally-complex and intelligent creatures can suffer more easily than those that are not. However, the more a creature is exposed to pain, the more it can suffer, even as there is no sense of time. So while a horse or a dog can suffer even when between painful experiences, a chicken that is trapped in terror with injuries and a mutated body is in a constant state of pain, which is its own form of suffering. Animals used for performance, entertainment, circuses, and work often do suffer because most of these scenarios override everything natural to that creature. In cases where work is balanced with care, feeding, shelter, socializing, freedom, expression, and affection can there be the possibility of a "happy" creature. This is true of even Humans. [AnnaYusim] I have a question about St Therese of Lisieux (Born Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin) her book "story of a soul" is a spiritual classic. I have read that its not 100 percent her authentic words is that true?? Also i'd like to know her role, casting and soul age? [MEntity] As this fragment was "sainted," all accounts have come to be embellished for the support of that sainthood. It is true that not all of the words attributed to her are her own. This is not to say they are not in keeping with "the spirit" of her expression, just that embellishments are involved. This fragment is a Priest-Cast Artisan who was 7th Level Young at the time. [royce] marius here: Adyashanti speaks openly about his awakening experiences and i'm curious to know the relationship to this experience of " awakening" and Internal monads. for example if one has awakened in the terms adyashanti describes does one still go through internal monads. [MEntity] If the term is being used as a conclusive state, then it is a misnomer. This "awakening" could be said to be a description of how one completes an Internal Monad, as it is a conscious process of unlearning all that was learned, at least in terms of what was learned that is not serving you. That is what each Internal Monad is: an unlearning. To that extent, each Internal Monad is a process of "awakening," but each awakening is far from conclusive. There is no shortcut through the Internal Monads. Even the oldest and most conscious of fragments must go through them. To teach otherwise is to teach that one does not count as a PART of the whole that is ultimately YOU. [royce] i ask because i hear a lot of " i have no more fear of death" with these experiences at age 29 or something, which sounds like a completely of 6th IM...which seems odd to be there at 30..but that's beautiful to know we always have something to learn completion* [MEntity] Lacking fear of death when one is not confronting it has nothing to do with the completion of the 6th Internal Monad. It is easy not to fear something one cannot comprehend. But when one suddenly feels and knows the impending closure of mortality, it is a very different rite of passage. Even if one has had a close call with death in the middle of the life, it is not the same thing as the closing in on the final call. That close call with death can contribute to the ease of the 6th Internal Monad, but it is not the same as the 6th Internal Monad. The 6th Internal Monad is only valid when the onset of the cause of the exit is finalized. However, even that is not always the case. If one has not completed the 4th Internal Monad, for instance, and has a terminal illness, it will still be necessary to complete the 4th Internal Monad, no matter how distracting the onset of death is.
  14. MICHAEL SPEAKS 091309 Open Floor [Michael Entity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We will begin with Martha's question. [QUESTION] I'm curious about how Essences organize concurrents these days, with so many, in terms of ETs, TCs, etc. Seems like a lot of threads to keep untangled, can't wrap my brain around it. It's not "normal" in human history to have so many concurrents as we do now, is that right? Confused and curious. [Michael Entity] The "how" of organizing Concurrents is no less complicated than trying to explain the patterns of branching in a tree that is part of a forest; what you see as PART of the tree is, in fact, what IS the TREE. By this we mean the organization and branching is not complicated to the Tree, nor is the branching out in time and space complicated to Essence. The leaf's understanding of how it can exist as itself among all of the leaves would always have to go back to the trunk, so to speak, and understand that its "individual" existence is PART of its entirety, not its entirety. And so it is with you, as Personality. You can only truly comprehend the vastness of yourself if you comprehend yourself as a FRAGMENT of who you are. It is not necessary for the individual leaf to comprehend the entirety of the Tree for itself to be "whole," and it is not necessary for the Personality to comprehend how Essence functions across and through time. For those Personalities who wish to explore this comprehension, it can be done. Most of that comprehension would come through analogy and metaphor, but it can be done. For instance, the whole of who you are as a Personality is a fragment of your entirety in the sense that you think of as "fragmented." Most of you can comprehend the reality that your body is not just skin, or just bone, or just a finger, or a hand, or foot, or a tongue, or a cell. Your body is that entirety, though each of those things exist as themselves, too. "You" have no problem bringing your attention to your fingertip right now, or to the weight of your tongue, or to the tension in your cheeks under your eyes, or to your ears as you hear the ambient sound around you, etc. No part of your body ceases to exist by focusing on any one part, and "you" do not cease to exist, nor are you less-"real," when Essence is focused on other "you's." There is an awesome order and structure to the universe and we are in the process of comprehending this on larger scales than even we suspected while living from the Physical Plane. To help you glimpse how your Essence manages all of the versions of itself, ponder how your body is whole, while being all of its parts, and then apply that to the larger patterns of your Essence's existence across time, through time, and among many bodies as parts of its wholeness. For the more metaphysically adventurous: in the same way you know your entity members as individuals with whom you resonate and love and find, so is the relationship between you and other you's within your Essence. Your entity members are ultimately the same as you: just other versions our Entity. Your cadre again is the same, and so on. All of us, are You. On a more intimate and personal scale, "you" can also grasp how your Essence manages itself among so many bodies, concurrent, simultaneous, and linear, by seeing how easily you manage yourself through time. You do not exist MORE because you exist today vs yesterday, and you do not exist LESS because you do not yet exist tomorrow. You do not exist LESS when you are physically in an office, while daydreaming about lunch. You do not exist MORE when you finally get to lunch. You are simply where you are at the moment. It is the same for Essence, except the capacity for multitasking by Essence exceeds anything one Personality can do. On a more practical level of understanding, some comprehension can be had when thinking of the Concurrents as similar to how one might raise several children at the same time. Your children exist independent of you, even while being your creations and completely dependent. You have the arcing agenda of nurturing for the children, as well as the specific attention to those moments and individuals who require it. Yet, on a whole, this is your family, a whole body in itself. We realize this can seem a complicated line of thinking to comprehend, but we think what we shared here in these various ways of understanding can lend some insight to that reality. [QUESTION] Hello Michaels, in the Sept energy report ..."September 5th through the 7th is a NEXUS for many of our students, but just as many will experience their Nexus at various points (individually) over the days between the 15th and the 20th. This means some may be the 15th through the 17th, while others may be the 16th through the 18th, etc., but most will be around 3 days....This Nexus is a Community Nexus, which usually means that this shift occurs in pockets of time close together that eventually "add up" to the collective shift of your community. A "Community" would be anyone remotely meaningful within your social or family circle. If you communicate with that person, he or she is a part of your community. This means that those within your more immediate circle would most likely move through the Nexus together, or close together. Keep in mind that having contact with someone is not the same thing as communicating. Not everyone with whom you have contact, even on a regular basis, is someone with whom you communicate (engage in meaningful exchange)." Could you expand on this please, how has the energy changed from the May Nexus to now and how it pertains within this group? [Michael Entity] Though we know Troy and other channels refer to our sharing of perception of patterns as an "energy report," which is a valid description, we can also suggest that it be seen more as an "emphasis report." Following that line of thinking, a Nexus could be understood as a pattern leading to a growing emphasis, or into a scattering of emphases. In this case, with this month's Nexus, there is a scattering of emphases. Nexus points occur regularly, so they are not magical windows of transformative change, though they can be experienced as such during some years. The emphasis, or energy, of May was focused on relationships, and issues of surrender, regret, flow, resentment, and an overall examination of how even the worst of experiences/relationships are contributing to your life in potentially beneficial ways. The emphasis, or energy, now is focused on your internal philosophy about life overall, and what you can DO about fulfilling your ideals, dreams, desires, etc. How it pertains to this group is directly. Each of you are in some way participating in the energies/emphases of the world around you, so it would not surprise us if each of you are internally confronting yourself about your personal philosophy, or interpretation, of life and experience and self. This internal confrontation is the source of the Nexus. The questions that have come up within you will align you more with some people than with others, and this is why it is a Community Nexus. Not only is the questioning happening individually, but along with many who feel the same way, and the outcome of this would be a clarity of direction individually, which adds up when in a group. Most of you will have come to some sense of clarification about your life in a way that might be captures in the phrase, "I can do it!" and this would help to move you forward with an openness that draws you to those whose "doing" is compatible, supportive, and even directly and mutually benefiting each other. Of course, the divergent aspect of this Nexus is that there will also be versions of you who say, "I can do it! But I won't." and this will move groups together in directions of mutual grief, defeat, and general boredom as the comfort in the lack of will is chosen over the effort needed to follow your will. It could be said, then, that May was about grasping the fact that you are in a boat with others in a current that has others in their own boats, and that none of these can be completely controlled. September is about grasping the fact that you do have a means of steering, using an oar, motor, or even a stick if you have to. Just because one cannot control, does not mean one cannot navigate. For some of you, it is exciting to find that oar, and for others it may be a disappointing discovery because steering is not enough, and you preferred the comfort of justified complaint and confusion and may "accidentally" toss that oar off the side. Some simply find the current to be fine as it is. This is why we said in our report that the extent to which you determine the oar is of use is the extent to which your next three months might be relieved of the feelings of Impatience and Martyrdom. Choice is always the "oar." Or more accurately: Choice is always the "current," and Decisions are always the "oar." In terms of "cooperation" vs "isolation," we might use the words "wholeness" and "division," as "cooperation" implies an imposition. The only cooperation most need to be concerned with in a life is the cooperation among the various parts of oneself, or a sense of wholeness and trust, vs a sense of division and conflict within, with one "lazier," or frightened, or angry part dominating other parts. If you desire to DO one thing, but DO another, you are divided. Desire is your navigational alert to where all of you want to go, including Essence. And including the angry, lazy, resentful, and screaming, kicking parts, as well. [QUESTION] Michael has said that some parallels were VERY different than others and won't re-merge back into the total until well into the Causal. Can you give me several examples where history went off on completely different tracks, besides the nuclear war that occurred in one parallel back in our mid-1980s? I was told that I have several parallels that will never merge into this trunk or branch until we've all cycled off. I realize that each parallel considers itself to be the "true trunk." [Michael Entity] Not all parallels consider themselves to be the "true trunk." It is natural to live as if it is, of course, which is exactly how it is designed to be experienced. The older the soul, and the more exploration of this concept, the more likely the sense of such solidity begins to dissipate, which can make for some very interesting lifetimes for a Personality. When conscious awareness and observation of the literal shifts and changes in parallels are explored by a Personality, it can be terrifying and exhilarating. Much of what is experienced as discrepancies among parallels is ignored, briefly noted and then dismissed, or simply experienced as a private confusion. [QUESTION] Schizophrenia? [Michael Entity] In a very few cases, Schizophrenia might result, but that condition is more a result of an internal breakdown of communication among various sub-personalities assigned to different emotional components of the Personality. In response to your broader question: there are a multitude of parallels that have spun off at various points in your history to become fairly incomprehensible to the Personalities experiencing "this" parallel. Some of those examples would be: 1) Your world as a result of the North of America losing its Civil War, wherein slavery is still common, though with compassionate acts passed to protect the well-being of the slaves. The business of buying, selling, breeding, and exporting people has escalated to a scale fairly difficult to imagine or convey. 2) Another branch has emphasized a move away from all physical contact among people and focused on methods for sustaining that lack of contact, particularly through electronics, personal pods, and egg-shaped, stacked housing that holds only one person. "Families" are clustered together, but even babies are encapsulated upon birth and fed through a means that is built in to the pods. Procreation is done through laboratories and children are assigned. 3) Another branch has emphasized a taboo on "celebrity," which has become illegal. Those who gain notoriety beyond a certain population count face various forms of punishment, including death. 4) Another branch has never put to use anything beyond the use of natural elements as they occur naturally, or as close to "naturally," as possible, meaning that living is found in natural creations, such as caves, tree canopies, and some simple structures. There is no electricity and communication is only within shouting distance. The examples can continue, but we can safely suggest that if you can imagine it, it exists in some form. An aside: all parallels have access to each other through that single bridge: Imagination. Imagination is far more a tool than a novelty. The examples we cited today are examples of parallels generated from various points for specific, pivotal reasons: The first example is rather obvious and recent. The second from a point in time you might see as a time of the "Black Plague." The third originated from a Nexus around 2000 years ago as Christianity gained its footing and the taboo of self-serving positions in society were outlawed below the levels of the church, but another Nexus generated from a massive wave of suicides and stalker/murders in the 80s, merging into each other. The fourth from the impact of weather patterns not moving to any extreme to encourage nomadic behavior. The examples could extend into off-planet contact and integration of alien populations, to a parallel where only 4 bodies remain of your species. [QUESTIONS] Greetings Michael, my question is about the Internal Monads; following is from a private session with Troy: "In fact, the completion of Internal Monads in the negative pole are vital to the process of evolution for the soul. Each Internal Monad will have a lifetime with a completion in the negative pole before a completion in the positive pole....A successful completion of a Soul Level means the successful completion in the Positive Pole for ALL Internal Monads within one life. This can take several lives to figure out how to build through each Internal Monad relative to that Soul Level." Does every IM actually need to experience a lifetime apiece with each of the 7 IMs incomplete?! This is because the "negative pole" is experienced differently than before. It is not always experienced as a "bad" thing, or a painful thing, but as a matter of experience that brings as much benefit as any other, and it is not avoided anymore than it is preferred. It is simply a matter of choice, or a matter of allowing room for Personality to go as "awry" as it chooses. Some of the most exciting and creative adventures have been experienced by Essence through the Personalities who were the most "rogue." However, the negative pole does not always feel so great to the Personality. In older soul Personalities that are most rejecting of Essence, the Personality always suspects "something" is not quite valid in that rejection and keeps an eye open for Essence, which allows room for Essence to help navigate within that lifetime. [QUESTION] Hello, Michael. You have begun to answer these questions in many ways throughout this chat. Perhaps, though, you could elaborate more specifically. 1) Are you aware of another mid-causal teacher who calls itself Abraham? They teach about the law of attraction and how we create our own reality/experience. 2) How do your teachings about karma and essence choices relate to their teaching? They teach about how we create our own reality through our vibrational offering and how we can control much of what comes into our experience by guiding our thoughts in a certain direction and paying attention to how we feel. They teach that what shows up in our experience is always (without exception) a match to our vibrational offering. My main question is 3) How much can we "control" from this PERSONALITY perspective? For example: if essence wants to learn lessons about poverty, would I be able to co-create wealth by my conscious, NOW focusing of my thoughts and attention? [Michael Entity] In response to your questions: 1) Yes, we are aware of this entity, who acts as a "channel" themselves for other entities. The entity who is identified as Abraham is of the Astral Plane, however, and acts as a medium for Causal Plane entities who are the source of the teaching. 2) We find our teachings dovetail quite well with the source of Abraham's teachings, but we see some of that validity is lost in the translation through the channel and furthermore in the reception by the students. The emphasis on emotion and feeling is an emphasis of the Astral entity who is learning all about the dynamics of emotion on that plane, so that entity is teaching what it is learning, but leaving out some key elements that the Causal sources are offering. The emphasis on "vibration" is an Astral teaching, because that is the direct medium of experience in that plane, but this is a difficult and rather intangible term for most to find useful to any extent while Physical. It often leads to frustration and further division within the self as it seems this should be such an easy concept to harness and use. This is not to say that many do not "get it." Many do. But those who truly grasp the teaching also grasp the limitations. In answer to number 3: you have COMPLETE control over your lifetime as Personality. This is said, of course, with the caveat that "complete control" is meant in terms of CHOICE, and choice is often confined to certain parameters imposed by the nature of the Physical Plane, and the impact from others who choose to impact you. However, Essence NEVER imposes. Essence does not impose a lesson of poverty, for instance. Instead, it learns from the choices of Personality when those choices lead to a life of poverty. It is true that Essence may be curious or want to learn about poverty, but it does not impose those lessons. Essence may choose to be born within the conditions of poverty, but from there, the Personality is in control. Everything leading up to the first breath is the choice and creation of Essence. Beyond that first breath, everything is a result of choice made by the Personality. The entire concept of "lessons" is a misnomer, by the way. Essence does not impose lessons, and neither does the universe, god, or any other force. Instead, "lessons" are simply what one chooses to gain from an experience. Twenty children can be in the strictest of classrooms with the greatest of impositions to learn a certain subject, and all will leave having learned something varied, even if all of them can now add 4 plus 4. You can create what you want with this life, within the parameters of what tools you have, what tools you gain, with your intentions, with your call for help and your openness for support, and your use of energy in a direction that is aligned with your desires, and your willingness to deal with the obstacles that arise from within and without. [QUESTION] What are some of those key elements that are left out of Abraham's teachings? [Michael Entity] What is missing is too much to explore here, but can be summed up in being the Causal aspects. The equation of creation that requires Cause, Force, or Action to be a part of it. The emphasis from the entity known as Abraham focuses on vibration, thought, and feeling, with some emphasis on doing, but the doing is then stripped from the teaching in the recipients' interpretation as they are left presuming that reality is created merely from positive feelings and proper thinking. For those who realize that reality is not simply something you wish into existence around you, but is one that is generated from your force in the world that is generated through your acts of choice, and your choice in action, then the teaching can be of great use. [QUESTION] Are there any karmic scenarios that would make it difficult for personality to create what it wants? [Michael Entity] In answer to the reality of karmic scenarios making it difficult for personality to create what it wants: Yes, that is the nature of Karma, which is not only the interference of choice, but the intensity generated from the reaction to that interference. However, as the soul ages, some of what would have been a most karmic scenario simply becomes just another thing. For instance, in early lives if one were to lose his legs because of the impact of choice from another, this could effectively "end" the life and all of the intentions of Personality, but in later lives, this would simply be an obstacle that is tended to on the way to fulfilling those intentions and no Karma is generated. Of course, murder (the most extreme Karma) is difficult to overcome in terms of being able to be overcome by the Personality, so those Karmic scenarios are explored long before the concept of "creating reality" even comes into conscious possibility of a Personality. In other words, in most instances where Karma is the interfering force that limits the intention and choice of a Personality, they are experienced as part of the haphazard navigation of that Personality through a life, but when the Personality begins to conceive of creating reality from choice, vibrations, feeling, thought, to an extent that could be considered "metaphysical," then that Personality is usually beyond the influence of Karma to the degree that it could hinder all choices. [QUESTION] Thank you. Right now we are in a period of 'mercury retrograde'. All sorts of problems/issues involving communications, electronics, transportation, etc. are blamed on 'mercury retrograde'. How much, if any, does the 'appearance' of a planet revolving in reverse direction around the sun really have? Is this a real influence or is this a case of 'finding something because you are looking for it'? Or do we 'create' these incidents by our expectations? [Michael Entity] In the same way that our Energy Reports could be read at any point in the year and find some validity, so can the symbology of Astrological influences. Planets are symbolic representations of general emphases, but they are not literally the causes. Electronics, communication, and transportation issues can be found at any point in the year, as can, in our case, issues of emphasis represented by Goals, Relationships, Attitudes, etc. However, observing synchronicity among patterns, and extracting meaning from those patterns, is valid and an evolutionary perception. In other words, while Mercury does not cause electronic or communication issues, it does symbolize the period of time when awareness toward those areas of life can be most clear. Our Energy Reports do not tell you what will happen in your world, or what is causing it, but what is most obvious and capable of being explored with some amount of clarity, based on valid patterns we perceive. [COMMENT] Ok, so we 'find' those incidents because we are 'looking for' them [Michael Entity] Yes, to some extent that is true; the patterns of clarity in observation of those breakdowns coincide with the movement of the planet, so that "more" of them seem to occur during that time, but more did not happen, it is only that more of them are seen. Keep in mind that the symbology of Astrology is ancient, and the patterns were adapted long ago. This would be true of most planetary systems with different planetary configurations. "In the beginning" these forces were not as aligned, but as observations began to be noted and shared, the Sentient species begins to use the planetary configurations as a kind of clock that will extend through the existence of the species. Planetary configurations, or Astrology, could be said to help with the bridging between Essence and Personality in terms of "keeping track" and planning. The first place this is utilized is in the Body Types, as your Body Types are generated from planet closest to the midheaven upon conception of your body. [QUESTION] and that is more than 'coincidence' or just coincidence, that the patterns leading to those breakdowns coincide with the movement of the planet? [Michael Entity] We would not call any significant connection between the symbolism of Astrology and your real world experiences as being merely coincidence. [QUESTION] so the patterns are not caused by the planetary positioning but have been aligned in human thought to take advantage of the planetary positioning? [Michael Entity] That is close. We would not contain it to human thought, though. It would be more an Essence perception. It is a momentum that is utilized effectively. The clock is turning, so to speak, and Essence has learned how to use that clock for various aspects of creation of the life, Agreements, Karmic patterns, and potentials of Personality. Though this is extremely simplified, think of how the Sun comes up every day and how one times his or her life to work with that cycle. It is not that the Sun causes your day, or your experiences, but one does know that one can see better during the daylight, find sync with more people actively during the daylight, and rest, or play in the night. The Sun does not decide this or cause this, but it is used as a means to emphasize certain areas of life. And so it is with all of the planetary "influences." Mercury does not cause the breakdowns of electronics and communication, but it has been assigned as the symbol and pattern associated with your species exploration and emphasis of what it symbolizes. It is known to some that the more one truly studies Astrology, the less the influence is seen. This is similar to how one can find one is ruled by the momentum of the day's clock, or eventually see the clock as simply indicating opportunities and potential, but it is never the influence in itself. The recognition of patterns is a Higher Moving Center positive pole of Beauty, or Energy. As one recognizes patterns, one begins to comprehend that the current pattern is within other patterns. From the most personal level of omens and signs to astrology to "Michael Math" and beyond, the patterns are valid and exist. We can discuss this further as this then moves into discussion of fractals and their place in understanding the nature of reality. [QUESTION] What benefit is studying the Michael teaching now - from the point of view of future lives - if we shall presumably be completely ignorant of it then? In rare instances it may have helped to deal sensibly with a karmic etc. situation, but otherwise it seems to be mainly theory for most, and thus forgotten after this life. [Michael Entity] We cannot predict how a future life of yours will see a past life of itself, or what a future Personality will allow into its life that was gained from the comprehension you gain in this life, but we can say that the effort to gain comprehension of your life is not a wasted effort, because the concern is not about the future life; it is about you, now. Reincarnation is valid. Simultaneous (parallel) lives, Concurrent lives, Past lives, and Future lives, even "adjacent" lives (which we have barely begun to explore with our students) are all valid, but these have no bearing on what you choose to do for you. Now. In this life. No matter how many lives your Essence lives, this life is yours. It begins and ends in a profound way that is unique only to you and what you do between those points is your choice. However, in terms of how a future life might benefit from what you learn in this life, we can only use you as an example of a future Personality of your own Essence's past. You found us again. You are studying with us again. And you are using what you learn again. You found us faster in this lifetime than in other lifetimes, and you call us by a more accurate name this time. From our perspective, what "you" did as "Madge" or "Buford" in your past is clearly showing up as part of what "you" are building upon in this life. But we would also say that for most, this claim would mean little to the current Personality. [QUESTION] The teaching is mostly just words. [Michael Entity] The interpretation of our teaching as being merely words is a matter of interpretation and application. Some of our students do not choose to apply our teaching, but simply choose to study it, or explore it. For those who apply it, our teaching becomes something very different. All interpretations are valid, as far as we are concerned. We find the truth to be that "everything" is theory, or just words, until it is applied. Keep in mind that many children sit for hours in classrooms learning subjects that are of little interest or understanding of their real world application until they are in situations where that learning is activated and applicable within context. Learning CPR is something many may never have to apply, but the learning was not lost, nor was it merely "words," simply because it was not necessary to apply it somewhere in the future. Many things learned may never have any bearing on your current life in the end. For many of our students, the exploration of our teaching is a wide net that catches what might be used, and a lot of what might not be used within the current lifetime. We can only say to you that what you choose to explore, study, and/or apply is always added to Essence's knowledge, but we will never be able to "prove" this to you, and we would not wish to, anyway. What we wish to emphasize is that you have a choice. A choice in what to explore, a choice in what to apply, and if the power of your choice is the only thing any of you ever learn from us, you have learned what we came to teach. The rest of our teaching is simply our suggestion of tools for how to utilize Choice. We will conclude our session with you here. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
