  1. Michael Speaks - Soul Ages and Levels (01/09/11) Troy Tolley, Channel [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We will begin with the discussion on the topic of Soul Ages and Levels. We realize we have shared a great deal of information and insight into this concept, but every aspect of our teaching has dimensions that may resonate at different points in the life, and to different students and different times, so our returning to "basics" does not have to be a review, or rehash, but a new spiral or layer of that concept. One of the reasons we think it is helpful to return to the basics at various points is because our initial sharing of this teaching in the form that you currently understand it was shared in a highly generalized and simplified way, and through the perspective of the average Soul Age of Young at the time. Our teaching does not change, but the understanding of it changes depending on the perspective that is interpreting it. For instance, there is a very basic way to understand the Role of Sage, in general, and then there are the differentiation of layers or evolution that bring dimension to that Role. For example, understanding the Sage as a goofy, obnoxious, self-indulgent, talkative, attention-seeking Role is highly generalized and, though accurate as a single dimension of that Role, only describes the Sage as the average Young Soul might manifest the Role. The description, or dimension, of the Role of Sage as an Old Soul will include this Young Soul version, but age affects how a Role is played or manifested, and the Old Soul Sage is often nothing like the general description, or the Young version. Whereas the the Young dimension of the Sage can be a clown and an attention-seeker, the Old version is the wise child whose emphasis is more on the integrity of communication and meaningful exchange, than on the attention that it would bring. And so it goes that the Soul Ages carry within them dimensions that might be filtered or highlighted by your own Soul Age. So, for instance, the Young Soul to an Old Soul looks and feels and is experienced quite differently from how a Young Soul would experience another Young Soul. What we will do today is discuss with you the Soul Ages as they may be experienced by our Students, who are more often Mature and Old, and this may help build upon the generalized concept. Your questions will help us to shape the information more relevantly. First, we will mention the underlying pillars for Soul Age that are relevant regardless of perception: Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement for EXPERIENCE. Nothing more. Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement of Experience based upon that individual Essence's agenda only. There is no one, or no thing, monitoring this beyond that single Essence. To elaborate: one fragment's movement through a Soul Age may include completely different experiences than another fragment's experiences through that same Soul Age. That is because Soul Age is a measurement of evolution/maturity of the Essence, and any experience can be used to propel that evolution/maturity. Soul Age is ONE INTERPRETATION of the evolution of experiences of Sentience, but is not a singular map that all find relevant or meaningful. It is a map for older souls, and is useless to most before that level of maturity. There are other maps used by younger soul ages. In other words, sharing this map "with the world" would not solve the problems of the world, nor would it encourage awareness beyond the capacity that is already present in younger Soul Ages. Presuming that this concept is as profound a map for the young or baby soul as it is for the mature or old soul is like presuming that a map of Disney Land is as useful and meaningful for the toddler or teen as it is for the adults. We can go further to say that even many adults, or older souls, may not find the map useful or meaningful. Continuing - Soul Age is not a map that is imposed upon Sentience, any more than the aging body is imposed upon a Personality. It is simply part of the nature of evolution and maturity. In other words, there are no requirements for that maturity and evolution, only markers. Soul Age is a map that we generated from learning about how our Essences learn and evolve, though that evolution was already long in place before the map was generated. The map of Soul Ages is cyclical, and not linear, despite the apparent progression. Regardless of Soul Age, EVERY Personality is born "reset" to an Infant Soul status of consciousness, and must, if the Personality chooses to do so, find its way back into whatever Age and Level of consciousness and maturity the Essence has reached previously. To some extent, the same could be said for the Essence at every new LEVEL within a Soul Age, and especially at every new Soul Age. For the Personality, this may make sense, since the vehicle is completely new; a new brain and body that must adjust to and share the life with Essence, if it chooses to do so. However, for every new Level, Essence also "resets" and cycles back through what it has learned to that point, and must then build upon that, much like the Personality must regain consciousness over the lifetime to a point that can then draw upon Essence's history. Before we elaborate further, we will take up to 3 questions relevant to what we have shared so far. ***QUEUE OPEN FOR 3 QUESTIONS*** [Question] "Cyclical, not linear" - I visualize the "levels" as being in line with each other, e.g. all 6s "above" each other - a spiral MEntity: That is "exactly" how it is. We qualify the word "exactly" because we mean it only in terms of a visual interpretation. That is a fair and accurate visual. When one is in the 6th Level of any Soul Age, all other 6th Levels are activated and explored. That "activation and exploration" are on an Essence level for the most part, but would also be relevant to which lifetimes tend to be resonant to that lifetime. We think some insight might be gained from the recursive sequence of what has come to be called the "Fibonacci Spiral." [Question] I would like to ask for an elaboration of Essence resetting when a new level is achieved within the same lifetime, i.e., as XXX did. Is this why she is recycling through earlier levels as Essence resets? MEntity: That "resetting" is relevant to what we have come to describe as the Internal Monads. There are Internal Monads that the Physical Body and Personality build through, and Internal Monads that Essence builds through. Every Level of Soul Age is a pass through 7 Internal Monads. Every Personality's progress through its own Internal Monads contributes to the progression of Essence through its own Internal Monads. Every Personality starts over with the First Internal Monad in every lifetime, no matter how far a previous Personality has progressed in a previous life. Every Essence starts over with a First Internal Monad in every new Level, because each Level is a completion, or cycle through, 7 Internal Monads. To help clarify: Every Personality goes through a progress of "waking up" within a lifetime because it is a completely new lifetime. Every Essence goes through a progress of "waking up" within a new Level, because it is a completely new Level. A simple metaphor might be that Essence entering a new Level from a previous Level is like an evolving Personality might enter a new relationship after having been in a previous relationship, or moving to a new city after having lived in a different city before. It is not that all is lost, so much as that all that has been learned must now be applied in a fresh context. [Question] How does one explain the soul that remembers a prior life under 5 years of age? Did these essences choose to remember their soul age? MEntity: It can take UP TO 7 years for a new Personality to embrace and bring through, so to speak, Essence, but for the older souls, that time is often much shorter. The greater the level of maturity or consciousness that Essence brings to a new life, the greater the resource that the new Personality can access, if it chooses to do so. Depending upon the culture and imprinting that is the environment for the new Personality, the child may not only bring Essence in more quickly, but that child's filters may also allow for those "memories" to flow freely. In some societies, such as some within India, reproductive imagination is encouraged in children and they are "allowed" to voice memories that defy reason. In other societies, such as in the United States, those memories are not encouraged, and creative imagination is encouraged over reproductive imagination. Every lifetime, regardless of the fact that it is new, with a new body, and new Personality, will always be built upon the Instinctive Center of the "previous" lifetime, carried forth like a disc from one body to the next by Essence. That Instinctive Disc, if you will, is the mini-Akashic Records of that particular Essence, and depending upon the level of consciousness accessible to the new Personality, can be read and accessed by that new Personality. [Question] Follow up: how do we create a stage for the child to bring in essence and allow memories to flow freely? MEntity: There is no real way to create that stage in a way that prompts the memories, but there are ways that one can encourage the exploration of those memories when the child begins to speak of them, if he or she does so. A child will either speak of them, or not, depending upon that Personality's personal process of regaining consciousness. If the environment is open to that, and the Personality speaks of these memories, then the validation can occur. However, to prompt a child to speak of past life memories, rather than simply allow for that child to speak of them if he or she does so, can often lead to false memories, confusion, and delusions. In short, simply paying attention and being open is enough. Responding to "Dracula": The impact and extraction of knowledge from experiences is subjective, but the markers are static. [Question] Static, not "objective"? MEntity: This might be understood through the metaphor of passing through a city that has specific streets that will crossed on the way through, but different speeds and vehicles may be used to pass. In addition to that, some may rest, some may crash, some may backtrack, some may sight-see, but all of those variations will not change the terrain. We chose the word "static" because, though the markers may remain in place, even the interpretation of them will be subjective. Much like the fact that a city may have a definitive terrain, but many maps to highlight various ways through it, depending upon the interest of the one choosing the map. We will continue with the topic and return to questions in a moment. We have already mentioned this in response to questions, but we will elaborate here on the Soul Age process: One Internal Monad is a level of maturity, awareness, consciousness gained by a Personality or multiple Personalties over lifetimes; 7 Internal Monads = 1 Level of a Soul Age; there are 7 Levels within a Soul Age; there are 7 Soul Ages for Essence. An Internal Monad is a process of resolving a division; a kind of return to wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts. For instance, the 1st Internal Monad is the resolution between Physical and Essence that is "life." By the way, just "being born" is not necessarily a completed 1st Internal Monad, but we will elaborate upon the Internal Monads in another discussion. Understanding that Soul Ages are built from these processes of resolution can help one to see the vast beauty and magnitude of what it means to evolve, growing from fragmentation, through resolution, and returning to wholeness. Every Level then is one layer, or one dimension, of fragmentation "healed" for Essence, or more accurately put, "regained." When your Essence chooses a Role, it carries forth its own kind of "disc" into that new Grand Cycle of lives as that new Role and new sentient species, but in every other sense, it fragments itself and loses all "memory" of anything "before." Therefore, it could be said that every fragment is in a process of collecting itself back from the universe in which it is exploring. In the same way that we exist as fragments of Tao that eventually return, so are each of you fragmented "out" into your Grand Cycle "ahead of you," and then the compulsion toward wholeness propels the cycle. In a very simplistic and crude description, every Essence "hides" fragments of itself throughout the universe, and the process of evolution is the recovery of those fragments. That process of recovery is different for every Soul Age. For the Infant Soul, this process comes from tangible contact with the world, a kind of feeling around in the dark, and relies greatly upon TOUCH as the navigating tool. For the Baby Soul, this process of recovery comes from extremes of experiences, a kind of tight-rope walking that can find most of itself in every fall from the rope, relying greatly upon BALANCE as the navigating tool. For the Young Soul, this process of recovery comes from opportunities and investments, or indulgences, toward its greatest idea of itself; a kind of constant following of a frequency or tone, making HEARING one of its primary tools for navigation. For the Mature Soul, this process of recovery comes from recognition and empathy, finding and recovering extensions of the self that reside in others, making SIGHT a primary navigational tool. For the Old Soul, this process of recovery comes from pleasure, reunion, happiness, and play, because it can now recover the parts of self that never stopped to enjoy so many things along the way, making SMELL/TASTE a primary navigational tool. When we associate these senses with the Soul Ages as navigational tools, they are not always so direct and literal, but often they are. For instance, in a Young Soul society, music tends to blossom and evolve as a primary medium because "hearing" is so pronounced. Other Soul Ages enjoy music, of course, but for other reasons. For instance, in the United States, the "music industry" is heavily populated by Young Souls, and Young Souls are attracted to that medium of recovery in droves. The phrase "marching to the beat of a different drummer" is a Young Soul phrase because Identity is so important to the Young Soul. This is NOT to say that music is synonymous with Young Souls, but that Young Souls tend toward SOUND, both literally and figuratively, as a means of recovering fragments of Essence, or finding themselves, so to speak. Young Souls are often the loudest among you. A Mature Soul may use music to explore himself, express, or heal himself, but not necessarily as a way to recover or find himself. As your world moved into Mature Soul consciousness, you can see the shift from Radio to TV, for instance, or from music to videos. Even the phone is on its way to being replaced by video conferencing because the Mature Soul uses SIGHT as a means of navigating for recovery of itself. The Old Soul recovers itself through remembering how to enjoy living and being in a body, so two very primitive senses are called upon: smell and taste, which are fairly dependent upon each other, and help the body and Personality toward that which feels good. Smell and Taste affect the entire system that is the Body and the Personality, bringing a synthesis when allowed. In other words, the more an Old Soul allows itself to enjoy, love, accept, and live through its body, the more it recovers its fragments of self and returns to a wholeness. Briefly, the Transcendental Soul uses Orientation and the Infinite Soul uses Relationality as navigational tools for the recovery of fragments. Of course, on the scale of the Infinite Soul, those fragments are all Essences relative to that species of Sentience. Another way to understand the Soul Ages from a student's perspective, and not necessarily as a generalized perspective, would be by seeing the polarities of the Soul Ages and how those may manifest through a Personality. To accommodate the limitation of time for this chat, we will quickly share those: The Infant Soul manifests Positively as INNOCENCE, and Negatively as DISSONANCE. The Baby Soul manifests Positively as REFLECTION, and Negatively as REJECTION. The Young Soul manifests Positively as ACCOMPLISHED, and Negatively as ENTITLED. The Mature Soul manifests Positively as PERCEPTIVE, and Negatively as PROJECTIVE. The Old Soul manifests Positively as INCLUSIVE, and Negatively as EXCLUSIVE. Though we can elaborate upon all of these, we will quickly say that the Mature Soul, when manifesting Positively, is capable of seeing beyond the obvious, the logical, the superficial, and does not require "reasons" for what is known. It simply Perceives. It can truly SEE. The Mature Soul manifesting Negatively loses its capacity to Perceive and simply Projects, turning everyone into props and players for his or her own drama, never truly seeing others because of the preoccupation with seeing (finding) the self. The Old Soul manifesting Positively is Inclusive because everything and everyone is experienced as a part of the greater whole, including all of the previous Soul Ages within itself. This leads to an adaptability that allows for finding parts of the self in places and people it never would have thought of on its own, if you will. This Old Soul can draw upon its previous tools for navigation at will because it has accepted those tools, and will use them appropriately to navigate or understand those in younger Soul Ages. Everything is experienced and interpreted as "food for the soul," so to speak. The Old Soul manifesting Negatively become Exclusionary, aligning itself only with the "like-minded," seeking refuge and intimacy only those who feel "safe," and even then keeping a wall of isolation around the self as part of the interaction. This dependence upon the condition of safety never allows the Personality and Body to enjoy the life to the fullest, often resorting to the forming of secrets, imaginary relationships, and the equivalent of soul masturbation. Keep in mind that the Negative Poles we describe are a part of the spectrum and process for any term we are describing, and do not indicate what not to do or be. They simply describe the more limited end of that spectrum, as well as the end through which all will enter in that context. For instance, ALL Old Souls will go through an Exclusionary phase before it will move into an Inclusionary phase. That is natural. [Question] You mean within a single lifetime? MEntity: ALL Mature Souls will move through a Projective phase before it can Perceive. That would depend upon the individual, but for the most part, yes. Every Old Soul within each of its Old Soul lifetimes will still have to regain the consciousness of that Old Soul awareness, and that means the Personality would go back through a phase of Exclusion before Inclusion. As every Old Soul in this "room" can attest, if there is an honest assessment, the Exclusionary phase is all too familiar. We will open the floor for questions, but will end our responses in 15 minutes to accommodate our channel's and students' time limitations. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** [Question] You said in an earlier chat that Religion was the playground of the baby soul and Politics was the playground of the Young soul. What are the equivalent structures for the other ages (especially Mature Soul)? My guess is "Community" MEntity: We could say that RELATIONSHIPS are the playground of the Mature Soul, and IMAGINATION is the playground for the Old Soul, and THE UNKNOWN is the playground of the Infant Soul. By extension, "Community" would be included in Relationships. [Question] Hello Michael Could you elaborate, or give pointers as to (learn) how to access our mini-Akashic disc you mentioned? MEntity: The greatest direct access each of you have to your Instinctive Centers/Akashic Records is IMPULSES. Impulses are prompts that stem from the Instinctive Center in a way that each fragment eventually learns to read/interpret, and trust. Impulses are not the same as Compulses, as Impulses always include Choice, whereas Compulsions feel as if one has no choice. Impulses will always lead the Personality along paths that are a part of the higher pattern of its existence, and of Essence. Those Impulses are directly from one's Instinctive Center and directly relevant to the current lifetime in some way. Impulses are not indications of a "right" way to do something, or a "right" thing to do, direction to go, choice to make, etc., but simply indicative of possibilities relevant to what is active in those personal records. [Question] Would that be what feels like that "little voice inside" - same as intuition? MEntity: Yes, that is often how Personalities interpret the Impulses, however, there is a difference between Intuition and Impulse. Intuition is a synthesis of information gathered from various senses and sources that then must be interpreted, whereas an Impulse is a kind of immediate Knowing. For instance, one might use Intuition to help decide which city or part of city to move to, or which home "feels" right, but an Impulse would be the Knowing that it is time to move. It could be said that Intuition can be a navigational tool for fulfilling an Impulse. [Question] I am 7th Level Old and my husband is 7th Level Mature -- I have been thinking for some time that this is not a coincidence -- from the perspective of our soul levels discussion today and in a way that would be relative to everyone -- please comment. MEntity: That would be valid, Maureen. Fragments will often find themselves in association with, relationship with, attracted to, repulsed by, those who share the same LEVEL, but different Soul Age. This is part of the process for a fragment to cycle (back) through a Level. Though an Essence may be a 5th Level Old Soul, clearly having moved beyond the 5th Levels of the previous Soul Ages, it does not mean the value of revisiting or exploring those levels within is meaningless, concluded, or lost. This is part of the spiral we described earlier. For those who did not get a question in for us, we can suggest posting your question to the forum where this transcript will eventually be posted, and then it will be there for Troy to offer to us as he can for our response to be added. We must conclude here. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
  2. [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Mother and Child and the 1st Internal Monad] MEntity: We will share the details of the 1st Internal Monad, which may shed light on this process as both a matter of gravity and momentum, and as one that evolves to include choice and consciousness. Keep in mind that as one moves through the 1st Internal Monad, most of this is being done BEFORE physical birth. Only the final stage is fulfilled post-birth. However, as with all other Internal Monads, if any of the Stages remain in the Negative Pole, so do the subsequent Stages, rendering that Internal Monad incomplete until all Stages have moved into the Positive Pole. For the most part, the mothering host is passive in this event, evolving from complete passivity (obligation, survival motivations) to active passivity (embracing the consciousness and choice involved, while allowing room for this new life) The first Stage, then, would be INITIATION, with the Positive Pole being CONCEPTION, and Negative Pole being ORCHESTRATION. As we are sharing these through Troy now, we may find the words to require refinement at some point, but these are quite acceptable. This might be considered the Stage of the Zygote. As with all Positive and Negative Poles, there is always "entrance" through the Negative and a move through to the Positive. Therefore, Orchestration is always necessary for the Conception to be. The Positive will always be inclusive of the Negative, but if the move into the Positive is not made, then the Negative tends to exclude the Positive. Orchestration is "negative" in that it still a division, a manipulation of parts, a maneuver of all into alignment with this intention. When those parts come together, there is Conception. Those parts include a massive amount of considerations that the Personality may boggle to comprehend. In the earlier Soul Ages, these considerations are usually left to the gravity and momentum of biology, so as long as the mother is in any way open, Conception can come to be. In later Soul Ages, probabilities, astrology, past lives, genetics, geography, fellow fragments, Cadre and Entity mates, and so on, come to be considered as part of the Orchestration, and only then can Conception come to be. Conception, then, is basically the acceptance and success of what has come to be Orchestrated. In other words, Conception does not occur if that first pole of the first stage is stuck. Once Conception is successful, then the move into the second Stage can begin through INTROSPECTION. This Stage of Introspection is marked by a Negative Pole of INVASION, and a Positive Pole of FORMATION. The first Stage is primarily a function of biology and Essence, but Personality, or the mothering host has not come into full awareness or comprehension of this process, yet. This Stage of cellular division begins as Invasion because there is now a separate consciousness/Essence working with the materials of the mother's body. This is necessary, but eventually comes to be embraced as Formation, the Positive Pole. If this Stage remains at Invasion, there tends to come the first of many challenges, not only for the developing embryo, but for the mothering host, as well. This Stage leads into the 3rd Stage of REALIZATION. This is, usually, the first time the mothering host comes to realize she is pregnant. Though one can detect pregnancy very early in the process, this is actually when it is REALIZED, not just known or suspected. This is marked by a Negative Pole of DISRUPTION, and a Positive Pole of AWARENESS. Disruption can take the form of realizing the impact that having a child will have on the life, either in immediate or long-term ways, but can also include the point where the rejection from the mothering host is instilled, either through abortion or rejection of the position as nurturer. This Stage reveals the formation of the Embryo. Even if pregnancy is known quite early, a sonogram, or definitive physical sensation, usually attends the Realization of this Stage. Disruption will always be a part of pregnancy, but if it shifts into Awareness, it can continue smoothly. Awareness is when the negotiation with the host Personality is secured. In earlier Soul Ages, this is where obligation or resignation to survival or religious motivations tend to take over, and the Awareness is within that context. In later Soul Ages, this is when the Personality of the mother, her Essence, and the Essence/s involved with the Embryo, come to allow room for this event in the life. Awareness is then based in CHOICE, not obligation. This has no bearing on the intention to release for adoption. If this choice is determined as part of the Realization Stage, the Essence knows this, and it may actually have been intended. However, if this Awareness is not secured, it can lead to resentment from the Disruption, either by the mother, or by the child, if eventually born. Because birthing is so dependent upon passivity by the mother, part of the entire point of the 1st Internal Monad is to gain a greater understanding of its host and to work WITH that host. If this is not done, the Stages can either be interrupted, or remain in the Negative Pole through birth. In other words, it is part of the evolving process of birthing to learn how to move beyond Invasion and Disruption to work with the plans, hopes, fears, and body of the mother. The 4th Stage If the Embryo forms, and Realization has come, whether left in the Negative Pole, or moved through to the Positive, it will now begin to move toward MANIFESTATION. This Stage is parallel to the gestational period, and is marked by the Positive Pole of PRESENCE, and a Negative Pole of DIVISION. Division is necessary for the recognition that a new life is actually growing and forming, and that this growing and forming life is dependent upon another. If this Stage remains in Division, then it can build upon resentments, and usually falls into obligation. Depending on the Soul Age of the Essence being born, this may lead to a kind of exploitation of the mother for the sake of just being born if a younger Soul Age, but will lead to a halting of the process if an older Soul Age. Even if the mother has determined to allow the pregnancy, if it is from obligation, the older Soul would rather move on to more willing hosts. However, that is not always the case, and if probabilities, geography, genetics, etc. are more important for the greater intention of the life, even the older soul will continue. By this time in Soul Age, the capacity for choice is present, and even if the Personality begrudges the birth, it is known that it was chosen. Otherwise, the mother can terminate. The Positive Pole, PRESENCE, is reached when both are not just aware of one another, but accept the realization, the physical presence. The 5th Stage This then moves on into CONTENTMENT, or the embryonic period, marked by DEVELOPMENT in the Negative Pole, and MUTUALISM in the Positive Pole. Development is, basically, the natural gravity of biology fulfilling a momentum. Development will happen, unless stopped. Even if the pregnancy is unwanted, Development will happen. Development moves into Mutualism when both begin to experience the benefit, or potential benefit, of their mutual efforts, acceptance, and presence. The 6th Stage If the baby has continued to survive into the second trimester, then MAGNETIZATION begins. This is marked by a Negative Pole of COOPERATION, and Positive Pole of AGREEMENTS. Cooperation here is either a path into Agreements, or another form of tolerance for the invasion, disruption, and/or development of the previous Stages. Cooperation is minimal in communication and exchange between the Personality and any Essences or bodies involved. Agreements begin when all are on board, so to speak. Agreements can have been made long before this point, but this is when they come to be more substantiated, adapted, and updated with all involved with the Life Plan. Those who will be a part of the life from birth through death are alerted, and begin their draw toward the fragment attempting to be born. For those further into the life, the "marking of their calendars," if you will. The 7th Stage The final Stage of the 1st Internal Monad, EMANATION, begins in the third trimester, and is marked by a Positive Pole of VITALITY and a Negative Pole of DISINTEGRATION. The actual birthing process is symbolic of this Negative Pole, as the breaking of the placenta, cutting the umbilical cord, and separation of baby from mother comes into full Emanation. To this point, Essence has only been able to manage the process, but could never Emanate through the body. There is never an Essence "in" the body of any stage of a birth, until the first breath outside of the body. Upon first breath, there is the bonding and anchoring, and the body begins its activation as representative of Essence. If all Stages to this point have been in the Positive Pole, then that first breath is one of Vitality. If any previous Stage remains in the Negative Pole, then the body begins its life in a state of Disintegration. Disintegration can be literal, but can also be a process of further division from the mother as it prepares for adoption. The new body has up to three years to reach Vitality. If a child has not moved into that final Stage of the 1st Internal Monad, death is almost always a result. In the best of environments and circumstances, with the most willing and loving of parents, this can still be the case. The Internal Monad process is a personal process, not one that can be altered, hindered, or helped by those around the individual beyond what is allowed. This can also be reflected in the experience of "postpartum." If the baby has not breathed in Vitality, it can leave the mother grieving. Or angry, resentful, and experiencing her own version of disintegration. If you are alive and attending this gathering, you have probably completed the 1st Internal Monad successfully. Disintegration can also be a stage when there is a shift from the managing Essence to a new Essence. A kind of "walk-in" process, which can then shift into Vitality after. Though the Personality is already "programmed" into the body, it does not come fully-formed upon birth. It is activated over time. For the first three years, the child reflects the parents' or caretakers' overleaves and fears. Until the 2nd Internal Monad begins, the Personality of the child is fairly latent. The Personality comes to be activated more between the 3rd and 7th years of life.
  3. MICHAEL SPEAKS "Mother and Child" From Conception to the Completion of the 1st Internal Monad March 24, 2013 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We may begin our responses to your questions. We understand the emphasis on an initial topic. However you have arranged this to be explored, we are ready. [GeraldineB] Hello, Michael. I have a large somewhat formless topic about pregnancy and how it affects both the mother and developing fetus all the way through the first year of life for both of them. To paraphrase the Paul Simon lyrics, "Mother and child, a family reunion" might be the title. For many women pregnancy is a time of obsession, hormonal washes, physical issues, expectations and fears. It's as impacting as a full Internal Monad is to many others. Plus, during that same time period of physical, emotional, and mental changes to the mother, there are similar ones occurring to the developing baby, including processing of over half of the stages of the first Internal Monad pre-birth. So, it's the entire combination of mother and child -- a woman's insights and sensitivities due to pregnancy, and are there ongoing discussions with Essence due to the pregnancy, are agreements being rewritten if the original plans changed, i.e., not the same Essence is going to incarnate into the baby than was initially planned for. We know that many plans and agreements are made between Essences, but choices made by the prospective mother can alter those. Similarly, when a baby is born early, how does this affect plans and agreements? It's simply that we don't know much about the entire process that happens from conception onwards nearly as well as we know about dying. There are hormonal washes that affect the zygote (and mother). There can be twins created but one dies and reabsorbs. Many women suffer huge letdowns or postpartum depressions due to the hormonal flipflops and unmet expectations. How much does being pregnant during a time of danger and heightened fears affect the unborn developing fetus? To start, may we have the "7 Stages of the 1st Internal Monad," similar to the other ones I've requested? I realize that not all of these subtopics are framed as questions, but we're seeking a holistic or comprehensive approach to the topic of mother and child from conception through the first year of life for the baby. Your response should elicit far more additional questions than can be answered in a single session. :) NEXT (your cue to take over, Michael) MEntity: The process of birth and death are similar in that each has a gravity and momentum that is quite difficult, if not impossible, to halt, slow, or reverse. As with most processes, these are quite crude and given over more to the gravity and momentum in the earlier experiences of the process, and then this evolves to include more conscious awareness and choice, interjecting higher probabilities for halting, slowing, or reversing the experience. In other words, in earlier Soul Ages, there are rarely Agreements necessary or in place, and there is rarely a sense of choice in the matter, so that a birth is either obligatory, or a product of survival tactic. In later Soul Ages, and in developed cultures and societies, the element of consciousness and choice comes to be prioritized over gravity and momentum, moving away from obligation and survival. The Seven Stages of the First Internal Monad We will share the details of the 1st Internal Monad, which may shed light on this process as both a matter of gravity and momentum, and as one that evolves to include choice and consciousness. Follow-up Questions and Answers We will turn this back over to you for the more specific questions that were not helped by the delineation of this process of birth. [Jana] Why can't some women conceive, despite nothing being physically wrong or at least not detected? I have read many times that there can be "blockages" to feminine/mothering energy, so the child cannot survive. Is there truth to this? And variation on this — some women seem unable to have male babies — again I have read that relationship to men on the whole may be a problem in the mother — is there truth to this? Correction - sometimes they may conceive, but have a miscarriage, sometimes they don't conceive at all, i am asking about both. MEntity: It is dangerous territory to render the capacity for one's biology to be more in control of the individual than it is. We spoke of "gravity and momentum of biology," and this does not go away, even for the most enlightened, conscious, and aware. The capacity to give birth, to sustain birth, the leaning toward genders, etc. are a part of the genetics, and not (usually) having anything to do with the choices or "blockages" generated by the Personality. There is scathing in the Physical Plane that will always have to be factored into the practice and art of Choice, but these cannot always be anticipated. Scathing can be as obvious as losing a leg, to the realization that the body cannot or will not birth. Scathing is our term to describe any friction that brings about challenges to any of your relevant bodies. Beyond the simple nature of biology, there can be a multitude of nuanced causes for those who have challenges to birthing. For instance, one may have fallen prey to the imprinting and pressures to procreate, but the body cannot betray the truth. That fragment may not (really) want to have children. There are times when the timing is off for all, or some, involved, and the process is delayed, altered, or removed as an option to accommodate this. There is no one answer for why one has challenges to pregnancy, or to how that pregnancy is fulfilled, but we can say that it would be rare that it was simply a matter of "blockages" to "energy." If that were the case, babies would never get born at all. [Jana] I think the "fragment may not really want to have children" is what I was asking about - whether that could stop it. (despite physically trying obviously:) MEntity: It can, yes. But it would have to be a fundamental truth for that fragment to the point where the body represents this. Bodies cannot lie. That is not to say that one who has an unwanted pregnancy actually wanted one, but that it was not a fundamental truth for that fragment to not have one. As a society and culture evolves, the options for fulfilling Agreements with other Essences for birth move well beyond the necessity for biology of a mothering host. The pressure to birth, or to impose birth, begins to be alleviated. Those who are born by any other means beyond biological host, such as through cloning or test-tube births, the 1st Internal Monad shifts to BEGIN at first breath, and is completed over the 1st 3 to 7 years of the life. [Jana] that was my alternative question :-) MEntity: CORRECTION: If there is any formation of a body over time before first breath, the 1st Internal Monad is processed as usual. If there is cloning involved, then the process is shifted to be for the first 3 to 7 years of the life. By "cloning" here, we mean in the more advanced processes of replication, not the slow route known now. [Question] How was the IM process for me? I'd expect the uterus be slightly hostile considering I killed her in a past life (accident!) and is there anything left effecting present time? MEntity: As we said before: if you are alive and attending this session, you completed the 1st Internal Monad successfully. The uterus of a new Personality would not reflect or represent a relationship from a past life. By the time a body is capable of sustaining a healthy pregnancy, that body reflects the genetics, biology, and nature of that Personality, not any past Personality's genetics, biology, or nature. [Question] unless there are agreements to do so? MEntity: For the sake of a group format, we will not address your personal history as a zygote or embryo, but we can say that you successfully completed that 1st Internal Monad. [Comment] ok that's enough then :) MEntity: Yes, there can be Karma involved, which can eclipse everything. [Bobby] I'm thinking specifically about a nephew of mine, Cody, who died of SIDS at day 80 post birth. What was at play here either with him specifically or if you care to comment on SIDS generally? MEntity: "SIDS" is often a result of an incomplete 7th Stage of the 1st Internal Monad. There can be many causes or symptoms of this, but it is only one of many ways the incomplete Internal Monad can show up. We know of no valid case of "SIDS" that was not a matter of remaining in Disintegration. The Essence withdraws for any multitude of reasons, and if no other Essence steps in, the body will stop. We can comment more on the details of this individual in another format, but there would seem to have been some timing/geography issues for that fragment that made a difference. [Bobby] ok, will do [Brian_W] Michael, could you discuss briefly on the meaning of a birthmark, if there is one? MEntity: This is one of the few ways that Essence has an option for packaging information from a past life that might be relevant to the intentions of the current life. There could be a system described for helping to interpret birthmarks in some general way, but for the most part they are much like dreams in that the symbolism is ultimately relative to the individual. In a very general sense, birthmarks tend to refer to fairly recent lifetimes. Those that are on the legs or below the waist tend to represent unfinished actions/goals. For those birthmarks above the shoulders, they tend to represent unfinished thoughts, philosophies, ideals. For those on the torso or arms, these tend to reflect unfinished or interrupted relationships. Those birthmarks that can be easily hidden tend to be more subtle in gesture and symbol, while those that are more obvious or difficult to hide, there may be a decided focus on the unfinished. From Essence's point of view, these are beautiful methods of communication, but it is easily forgotten how a giant bruise across the face is more than just a clever reminder to complete work on ideals. That is the nature of the "double-edged sword of forgetfulness" that is inherent in life between the Physical and non-Physical. When you are "here," you so easily forget your immortality, and while "there," you so easily forget your temporary pains. [Ingun] I want to ask something about the difference between men and women. In lack of better words, it's only the female body that has a “baby making machine”, and the ability or potential to fulfill a pregnancy. Is there or what is the difference in operating of the centers/chakras and/or the energetics of the Body and between Essence and the Body in men and women? Can you explain to us something about the difference. Have women higher capacity or access in any way due to the ability to go through a pregnancy? MEntity: There is some difference, but not much. There are a multitude of sentient (and non-sentient) species who are not limited to two sexes, or one sex holding the power of birth. Only within the structures of society will there be any difference in terms of power and process, even in terms of the use of Chakras. To attribute a special power to the female who can give birth is about as useful as attributing great meaning to a man who can create a company. We are not diminishing the position, power, or meaning of birthing, but we are simply not attributing anything spectacular or unwarranted to it. A female can give birth without any active participation, while a male cannot create a large company without full, active participation. That does not make one less or more than the other. Just different. Birth and pregnancy is a biological gravity for a species. It is no more or less magical than the growing up of the body after birth. However, there is something to be said for the fact that Human bodies are divided into representations of 100% Female or 100% Male Energy, in terms of how those energies manifest in biology. Without an Essence, a "male" body is 100% Male Energy. Without Essence, a "female" body is 100% Female. This is also known as Focused/Creative. Outside of the imposition of the Essence Ratio, it only means that Female Energy must Focus Creativity, and Male Energy must Create Focus. In other words, birthing is a kind of Focus of 100% Creativity/Female. Starting and running a company is a kind of Creativity for the 100% Focus, or Male Energy. We are being highly simplistic here, but our point is that none of this describes one as having more than the other, but that all have not only the inherent qualities of the body, but the inherent qualities of Essence, blended into a uniqueness that is then further made unique by the choices of the Personality. We must conclude here for today. We must say goodnight here.
  4. September 12, 2010 Troy Tolley, Channel Internal Monads [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We can begin now. We have been asked to speak about the processes we have named “The 7 Internal Monads.” We can define “Monad” in many ways, but here we will describe it as “the natural process toward wholeness,” or “the structure provided for two parts of a whole to eventually manifest even greater than the sum of those parts.” A Monad will always have two parts that are vital to the whole, but are eventually resolved, or comprehended, so that those two parts ARE the whole, and not divided. There are Internal and External Monads: the External Monads are variations on relationships between fragments; whereas Internal Monads are variations on relationships with the self, or within the self. These Monads are ALWAYS about “manifesting,” or generating a material counterpart as representation for that structure, process, and eventual wholeness. The External Monads are obvious in that they deal with the space and time between two incarnated fragments, but the Internal Monads are not often understood as having physical/manifested counterparts or representations, because they are often more abstract. However, these Internal Monads’ physical/manifested counterparts are THE LIFE, ITSELF. As we describe each Monad, this may become more clarified and obvious. The 7 Internal Monads are processed and manifested by the Personalities across lifetimes, and these processes and manifestations then contribute to the higher processes of the Essence that must complete a set of 7 Internal Monads for each Level of each Soul Age. In every lifetime, the Personality starts “from scratch” in initiating and taking on these Internal Monads, but the Essence retains the benefit of each Personality’s effort and does not have to start from scratch. Therefore, in any given lifetime, the Essence may be at the 4th Internal Monad, while the current Personality is in the 3rd Internal Monad, for instance. If that same Personality progresses to successfully process the 5th Internal Monad, then it progresses the Essence closer to completion of that particular Soul Level. If it helps one to differentiate between the Essence process of these, and the Personality process, it could be said that the Essence integrates Internal Monads, and the Personality contributes to that by processing as many of the 7 “Rites of Passages” as possible within a lifetime. “Internal Monads” and “Rites of Passages” are rather interchangeable here, but to make it easier to understand, this differentiation may help. It is rare that any Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads, or Rites of Passages within one lifetime. Even if a Personality lives to 80 years old, he or she may still have not completed any Rite of Passage beyond the 2nd, or 3rd, for instance. Using a very simple analogy: Imagine that the successful completion of a Rite of Passage is akin to a Personality filling a basket for Essence. Let us use Oranges as that which must fill the baskets. Personality One within a Soul Age Level will begin the process by fulfilling the First Rite of Passage in being successfully born. This fills the first basket of oranges for Essence. Personality One is also able to process Rite of Passages Two and Three, filling two more baskets with Oranges collected. Personality One takes on the beginning of the Fourth Rite of Passage and begins putting Oranges in the basket for Essence, but never really gets past this Rite of Passage, even though she lives to 90. She will remain locked in a mindset, behavior dynamic, and local perspective that is akin to having never evolved beyond a 30-something year old, despite her physical age. Personality One dies, and Essence now moves that row of baskets out of the way, sets up a new row of baskets for Personality Two, and Personality Two now begins his or her process of gathering Oranges for those baskets. Even though the new Personality must start from scratch in filling the baskets, it is easier now that there is precedence and experience that the new Personality would have access to, if open to Essence. In short, there must be AT LEAST one Personality/incarnation that can fill all the baskets successfully within one lifetime as a means to move Essence on to the next Level of Soul Age. In some rare instances when an Essence moves from one Soul Age Level into the next Level within the same lifetime, then that Personality not only filled the baskets enough to allow for Essence to move to the next Level, but now that there is a new Level, the Personality actually starts again from scratch in filling the baskets relevant to that new Level. This is similar to living “two lifetimes in one.” We say that it is similar, but it is not literal, though often it actually does appear to be a distinct line that defines that transition and then the lifetime seems to be divided into two very different lives. When this happens, the Personality will go through a kind of psycho-emotional “death” as its completion of 7 Internal Monads, and then a kind of psycho-emotional “birth” as it begins the next Level. There are 7 Rites of Passages/Internal Monads, and we will briefly describe each now. Each Internal Monad has 7 Stages within it. Each Stage has a Positive and Negative Pole. Every process through an Internal Monad will mean entering the Negative Pole, then exiting from the Positive Pole for each Stage. This means that a “successful” Internal Monad would be completing the 7th Stage in the Positive Pole, leaving the entire Monad in the Positive Pole. In keeping with the baskets of oranges analogy, a Negative Pole would simply be an unfilled basket. The 7 Internal Monads are: Birth, Autonomy, Independence, Manifestation, Recreation, Comprehension, and Death. These may be called by different names through our various channels, but the basic information should remain consistent. Although each Rite of Passage is associated with various time frames represented by the ages of the Body, they are not specifically tied to those time frames. Different cultures and different societies and different Body Types will affect how the process of these Passages go. For certain cultures where life spans are only 20 years, vs other cultures where a lifespan may be 100 years, one can see how the Monads may play out differently. Those cultures and societies where life is more condensed tend to attract those who are working through Infant, Baby, and Young Levels, whereas Late Young, Mature and Older Souls tend toward cultures, societies, and bodies that emphasize length of life. We include in these differentiations the reference to “society” because social constructs, even within the same culture, may emphasize life at different paces, and thus have different time frames relative to the Passages. That being said, in general: Birth is obviously at Birth, where Autonomy is usually relative to the individual taking his or her first steps, and Independence is relative to an individual separating his or her identity and primary resources from the influences of his or her caretakers (parents); Manifestation is relative to an individual returning to a sense of innocence and personal meaning about the self and life; Recreation is relative to an individual freeing himself or herself from the momentum of “purpose” and shifts into an emphasis on “enjoying life,” or re-creating it; Comprehension is relative to the onset of whatever will end the life, and the individual’s ability to come to terms with his or her mortality; and Death, of course, is exiting the Physical Plane. Many of our students presume that Birth and Death are Internal Monads that are a given, but that is not accurate. The successful completion of Birth is indicated by “staying alive.” For the most part, this is marked by good health. If a body dies before the age of 3, it did not successfully complete the Birth Monad. The successful completion of Death is indicated by the impact one’s death has on those who remain physical. If those who remain are left devastated, deeply attached, and profoundly tied to the physical version of oneself, then one has not successfully “died.” The death, itself, is only the beginning, and the stages involved are done post-death, by working with those still incarnated in processing their grief. Completing all 7 Rites of Passage within a single lifetime takes practice, effort, and commitment to an extent that is often not available or an inclination of every Personality, so an Essence will remain within a single Level of Soul Age as long as it takes. Within a lifetime where the Personality does not complete an early Rite of Passage, such as, say, the 3rd Internal Monad of Independence, it means that this person has left that Internal Monad paused in the Negative Pole, and every Internal Monad attempted beyond that will be locked in the Negative Pole, as well. Using the baskets of oranges as an analogy, it would mean that no matter how hard that Personality tries to fill baskets 4, 5, and 6, they will only be able to fill them to the extent that basket 3 is filled. In cases such as this, which are not uncommon, it is possible to “go back” and fill the unfilled basket, or to complete the 3rd Internal Monad, freeing up the capacity to complete the next. This would mean, even if the Personality is in her 50s, that she can work through her issues related to Independence, self-reliance, and her relationships with Authority, as a means to then work on her 4th Internal Monad, and so on. In short, it is a valid and relevant statement that “it is never too late to have a happy childhood,” as an example for completing incomplete Passages. We wish to point out here that while our teaching can be understood and made useful at any age, it is not until the successful completion of the 4th Internal Monad that the full extent of its application can be comprehended. This is why you see so few fellow students among you, or even that you see so few interested in our teaching, in general; it is simply not very interesting or truly applicable to those who “do not know themselves.” This is not a judgment, but a matter of fact. For this teaching to have its full effect, one must be awake, and most who have not completed the 4th Internal Monad are still in some degree, if not completely, asleep. By “asleep” and “awake,” we simply mean the spectrum between self-absorption and self-awareness. Self-absorption, or being asleep, is marked by a preoccupation with the self, such as through defensiveness, self-indulgence, presentation, brooding, consuming, etc. And self-awareness, or being awake, is marked by, for example, valued sensitivity, right intuition, concentric compassion, enthusiastic curiosity, a kind presence, patient resonance to others, and no defenses or shields. Those are examples, but there are others, of course. We have covered Birth and Death in terms of successful or unsuccessful completion, and we will now quickly describe the other 5 Internal Monads in terms of the same. The 2nd Rite of Passage, which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility. The 3rd Rite of Passage, which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself. The 4th Internal Monad, or Rite of Passage, which is Manifestation, is initiated by one’s mid-life assessment as a means to determine the meaning of the life lived so far, and then calibrating the life to an updated course or path so that Essence may manifest. Part of that process and assessment means looking into the past as far back as childhood, and in that looking, finding all of the things that you determined have defined you, made you happy, that have fulfilled you as a child or teen, and then nurturing that same innocence in your life as an adult. A successful completion means truly liking who you are, and embracing the playfulness of your life as you move deeper into it as an embodiment of your Essence, or core Being. An incompleted 4th Internal Monad is often marked by an attempt to replicate the life that was once seen as so innocent, locking the person into a state that desperately seeks meaning, importance, and purpose. The 5th Internal Monad of Recreation is marked by a realization of relief from the need for purpose, meaning, and importance, but finds the emphasis being upon those little things that make the life worth living (on your terms). The life is literally “re-created” in a way that is a new paradigm, free from the burdens of navigation and direction, but entirely embracing of wandering, coasting, and “enjoying the view,” so to speak. The successful completion would often show up as a new enthusiasm for a layer of life that was once cluttered and clouded by over-eagerness and over-anticipation. There is a softness to the life in a way that was never experienced before, and a true joy in many things that would otherwise be dismissed. An incompleted 5th Rite of Passage might show up as bitterness, regret, anger, resentment, and disgust, sometimes concluding that life has no meaning or point, and therefore condemning anyone or anything to pointlessness and meaninglessness. And finally, the 6th Rite of Passage, Comprehension, is marked by the onset of that which will be the cause of death. This is the only Rite of Passage that can most-often be processed in a matter of seconds. A successful completion would show up as a surrender to the reality of mortality, and a full review of the life in a way that brings comprehension to the fact that one has lived and one is now dying. This can happen in a car crash, or in a long-term illness, etc. Time takes on a completely new dimension in this Passage. The incomplete Internal Monad here would show up as anything representing a rejection of mortality, ranging between resignation, apathy, to delusion, dementia, and denial. In instances such as a car crash, the individual may actually “re-live” the entire life in new ways that account for corrections of betrayals, missed opportunities, etc. before actually exiting. That experience can be a means of review, or as a means of denial. We will conclude here, then, in speaking about the 7 Internal Monads, and open the floor to the first 5 questions, due to time constraints. ****QUEUE IS OPEN**** We will respond to further questions after this transcript is posted in your “TLE FORUMS.” [Geraldine] Michael. I still don’t understand how the “two lifetimes in one” works. If a Personality has to go through all 6 IMs in the same incarnation in order to reach the 7th — How does one get all six of those “oranges” in the basket by age 40 in order to do an early 7th? (such as AnnH). Or my son-in-law Brian Fisher who went through this by age 30. Especially since neither one would have been considered “all in positive poles” at those ages. How would one work with “those still incarnated in processing their grief,” if there is no grief? Would one’s concurrents processing IMs help since we all started our incarnations at the same Soul Level? [MEntity] We did not elaborate fully into the “two lifetimes in one”, or the transiting of Soul Levels within a lifetime, because we had elaborated on this in other transcripts. However, we will try to clarify again here. If an Essence has 5 or more baskets full, so to speak, upon creating a new Personality, then that Personality is only tasked with the potential to fill those remaining baskets. However, to get to those baskets 5, 6, and 7, for example, the body and Personality must still fill baskets 1 through 4 in its own way in order to even get to the 5th basket. After baskets 1-4 have been filled multiple times by multiple Personalities over multiple lifetimes, then each subsequent lifetime/Personality has a potentially easier time fulfilling those same baskets. Although there are physical counterparts to each Monad, which is often associated with age time frames, we have also pointed out that they are not tied to those age time frames. Beyond the factors of culture and society as influences, we can also say that one’s PSYCHOLOGICAL process is just as physical a counterpart as one’s physical aging. Therefore, when one is transiting a Level within a lifetime, that Personality can quickly (by age standards) be Born, Walk, Gain Independence, Manifest Essence, and then begin the Recreation process, all by the end of one’s teen age years. This is because while there are certain physical cues that are tied to the Passages, there are also Psychological cues, and these are just as, if not more, vital than the more obvious Physical cues. This means that rather than having a physical retirement/recreation due to age, it happens due to psyche, and rather than physically dying due to accident, illness, or suicide, there is a psychological “death” that then moves through a “birthing” process. Those who transit a Level within a lifetime are now throwing off the usual cues that one can more obviously see in terms of one “growing up,” so these Personalities can often seem more complicated, difficult, and lacking significant maturing processes that another person might show. They do not necessarily appear to be any wiser or more together than any other, and more often, actually, appear not to be particularly wise, and often quite scattered. This is because the psyche is not only developing at a different pace from the body, but by the time the body is older, then the psyche is reborn again in a way that is quite disorienting. This complex process is why this kind of transition is rare, except in Older Souls. Once the fragment in transition has filled the 7 baskets, then the life is marked with a new set of baskets to begin filling, which are rarely ever filled beyond the 4th basket in those kinds of lifetimes. [Maureen] What “happens” in between IMs – for example: Having successfully completed the 4th IM – one could whiz into the 5th or take a decade – If it takes a decade is it like being on a plateau or is it a mix between the 2 IMs ?? [MEntity] While one is “in” a Passage, there is a definite sense that there is living to do. When one is “between” Passages, there is a definite sense that there is work to do. We are using the term “living” here to describe the experience of submersion into the life that often feels like being underwater, then coming up for air, over and over. We use the term “work” here to describe the experience of finally being on land and moving your way over territories of relevance and meaning. For instance, during the 3rd Internal Monad, there may be waves of great angst, rebellion, and constant inner turmoil, mixed with homesickness, deep gratitude, and a sense of self emerging as one breaks away from the influences of parents. Upon completion of that Monad, then the business of income, maintaining an apartment, paying bills, etc., then comes into focus. It might be more appealing to describe the differences between being In and Between Monads as “living” and “learning,” as what was lived through the Passage is now put into practice before the next Passage. [Oscar] Hello Michael ? Could you please elaborate a little about how exactly Body Type can affect the process? [MEntity] Active Body Types, such as Saturnine, Mercurial, Martial, and Solar tend to process Internal Monads “faster” than the Passive Body Types of Lunar, Jovial, and Venusian. The Active/Positive Body Types of Saturn and Solar being the “fastest” while the Passive/Negative of Lunar being the “slowest.” We speak of these in terms of “pure” Body Types, so it is wise to keep in mind that there are no “pure” Body Types, all having a mix of other energies, and influences. The reason for their “speed” of processing a Passage is relative to the Primary Glandular System that regulates experiences for that Body. For instance, the Anterior Pituitary and the Thymus tend to help the body process experiences far more “quickly” than that of the Pancreatic system. This is because the Anterior Pituitary, for instance, is a stimulus for all other glandular systems, and the Thymus regulates the overall health/immunity of all systems, so their being the primary influence is powerful in these Passages. Whereas the Pancreas is insular in its processes, even though they do ultimately affect the entire system. It is that insularity of the process of consumption and production of fuel that contributes to the slower processing of experiences for the body. [Karine] How can you “predict” when someone will enter a monad? For example, you told me that you think I will begin my 4th internal monad near the end of 2012. Do Essences plan in advance during the course of a life when a personality will enter the next monad? [MEntity] We can only see the same things that you can see in terms of Passages, though we may be able to see it more clearly. So when we can see a time frame for completion of a Monad, using the analogy of the baskets, we are basing this on how full the basket is, and the pace at which you have been filling it. We can then extrapolate from there. The same could be said for those that are slated to begin. We can look at the previous Passage and the factors that went into entering it, filling the basket, and exiting it, and how much time was spent between other Passages, proportionally speaking. That being said, yes, Essence will anticipate a time frame that “looks good” for entering a Passage, and we can see those notes, if they are there. In the end, whether we use calculations, or the notes in your records from Essence, it will always be the Personality that decides whether and when to enter into a Passage. So we may be very far off in our information in the end. [Bobby] In your presentation of the 7th IM, there seems to be far more to it than I realized. For instance, I didn’t realize that to transit it in the positive pole, if those left behind grieved terribly over your passing it could keep you from completing it in the positive. I had an aunt who lost a son and never seemed to get over it. Would that be an appropriate example of him finishing his 7th IM in the negative pole? Joey Williams was his name by the way, if that helps. [MEntity] It is not so much in the depth of the grieving, but in the length of time in grieving, and yes, to the extent that one has not helped to prepare loved ones and friends for one’s death, and to the extent that one lacks the ability to comfort those “left behind,” then the 7th Internal Monad is not completed. There will always be at least one lifetime/Personality who dies within a Level in a way that those who remain physical will fully grasp that that Personality had a full life, and that death was embraced without surprise or regret or terror. Because death is so difficult for even the oldest of souls to experience, it takes only one lifetime for this to happen as a means for the Level to be transitioned. And if one ponders the 7 Passages for a moment, it may become more obvious that one who has moved through each in a Positive Pole, may have generated a life and network of relationships that more easily comes to terms with that death. That is not to say that even the most successful of 7th Internal Monads would leave no one grieving. Grief is natural and important, and is a process of accepting a profound truth that replaces a previous truth. In the case of the fragment you mentioned as an example, we think that fragment is still working on completing that Monad, and remains in the process of support for the one who is grieving. Some fragments choose to remain in that process “as long as it takes.” We will conclude here. Good evening to each of you.
  5. Michael Speaks Live Online "Seven Emotions" March 23, 2014 (3 Hour Session) Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] We understand the topic of focus is that of the Emotions. First, as you explore the concept of Emotions, we will point out that "feelings" and Emotions are not, technically, the same things. They are so interconnected that they are often considered the same thing, but for the sake of the topic today, it will be helpful to understand that the "feeling" aspect is a bodily reaction/response to the energy that is Emotion. Emotions are more like a surge of energy, a kind of electricity, if you will, and your processing of that is what you call "feelings." All Emotions originate from the Emotional Center. These are then distributed, or processed, through the Parts of that Center, which funnels the energy into the other Centers relative to the Part. So, for example, if an Emotion is a Moving Part Emotion, it still originates from the Emotional Center, is processed by the Moving Part, and directed toward the Moving Center then. We will return to this circuitry a bit later. All Emotions Are Personal -- Only About Oneself Because all Emotions are of the Emotional Center, this means they are always related to ORDINAL INSPIRATION. This means that all Emotions are personal, and they are either a result of PROJECTION or REFLECTION. Emotions are personal (ordinal) in that they only ever tell you about YOU. Emotions never tell you anything about anyone other than yourself. Ever. It is an information circuitry that is entirely unique to you, about you, and is all about your collection of experiences, organized in layers of time, and that are then used to measure against your current experiences. All of this is a form of navigation. This is all true whether one is Emotionally-Centered, or not. When one is Emotionally-Centered, it simply means this form of navigation is relied upon far more than the other two forms (Intellectual and Moving). All fragments will have all three forms inherent to the incarnation, of course No matter how provoked, your Emotions are informing you about you; not the other person or even the event. When we say that they are "informing you about you, we mean that they are sifting through your collection of experiences over time and comparing the current experience to a past one for reference. If you have a painful experience in your records, a current experience might trigger that painful association and the current experience will be regarded as painful, even if it may not be painful. Because Emotions are Inspirational, they are LOADED with POTENTIAL. They are not reality. They only speak to the potential of a reality. So, for instance, this reference to a painful experience from the past is only meant to suggest that the current experience MIGHT BE painful, too. It is not meant to tell you that your current experience IS painful. And therein lies the difference between PROJECTION and REFLECTION. Projection is a reactionary processing of Emotions that presume that what is "felt" is the conclusive truth. If you feel it, it must be true. That is that. This is Projection. This is why we continue to remind our students that Emotions are not the truth. In a sense, Emotions are ALWAYS about the PAST. So the truth that you "feel" is about the past, not the present or the future. This is not a bad thing or a good thing, it is simply how Emotion functions. Even the best of how you feel is a product of the past. For example: you may find that the watching of the setting Sun is one that brings joy. But this is because it is not your first sunset. First sunsets for many fragments (in those early lifetimes) was terrifying. The world was plunged into darkness and new creatures emerged in that darkness, and nothing was ever the same again. Until the morning, of course. But then it would happen again. This was terrifying. Eventually, enough experience with sunsets brings Trust, and it is known that the Sun has not died, and it will rise again in the morning. To be clear, this Trust still cannot speak to the TRUTH. It can only speak to experience. MORE THAN LIKELY the sun will rise, and MORE THAN LIKELY the sun has not died, but there may very well come a night that never ends. As you can see, Trust then becomes an important Emotion for navigating because one cannot constantly fight and fear a sunset. If there comes a day when the sun does not rise, you will deal with that. Until then, you live as if the sun will rise again, because you Trust that it will, and you Trust that it will because you have enough experience to do so. This is no different in processing when it comes to relationships. It is fair to be wary of new relationships if one has experienced pain in one or more. Your Emotions are telling you to be careful, and that another round of relating COULD result in another round of pain. But, remember, Emotions are not the truth. They are only referencing your experience, and your experience, while your own, is not a constant. You lived in terror for years, afraid that the sun may not rise again. That fear and pain and terror was real. It is fair to be wary as the night falls again. But your fear, pain, and terror are not a constant, because you continue to gather experiences. And as your days are found to be filled over and over again, despite the terrors that the night will come, you begin to note this and grow from it, and face each day and night with Trust. The same is true of your relationships. The fear and pain and terror of your losses when a relationship ends or departs from expectations can make the next relationship seem a breeding ground for more terror, fear, and pain. But a new relationship is like a new day. IT WILL END. AND YOU WILL NOT. And just like the passing of days, you will find that relationships, like your days and nights, are uniquely filled with what you put into them, and are not defined by their beginning and "end." This is REFLECTION, then. PROJECTION is when you impose your past on an experience, relationship, or event. REFLECTION is when you learn from your past, but allow the greatest potential of the present or future. What we have shared, so far, is how Emotions function, how they are processed, what they are for, and what they mean. Though there many words to describe Emotions and how one feels, all Emotions can be traced back to one of seven basic Emotions, or as a combination of two or more of these basic Emotions. Those SEVEN BASIC EMOTIONS are: TRUST, DISGUST, ANTICIPATION, SADNESS, JOY, ANGER, SURPRISE. Trust is of the Instinctive Part. Anticipation is of the Higher Emotional Part. Joy is of the Higher Intellectual Part. Surprise is of the Higher Moving Part. Disgust is of the Emotional Part. Sadness is of the Intellectual Part. Anger is of the Moving Part. FEAR is not an Emotion, technically, anymore than Truth is or Love or Energy, in any technical sense. Many "emotions" that are referenced by other terms are combinations of the above, either in negative or in positive pole combinations. None of these Emotions are bad or good, but all can be experienced in beneficial or harmful ways. QUESTIONS Before we break down these Emotions into polarities, we will open the floor to any questions relative to what we have shared so far. [DianeHB] What IS Fear, if not an emotion? [MEntity] Fear is a "feeling," a secondary response or reaction to the processes of Emotions of Anger and Surprise. Fear, then, could be said to be the body's reaction of protection against negative experiences relative to Anger and Surprise. Keep in mind that the entire concept of Fear is one that is far more insidious and pervasive than this simplified version we speak of. We are speaking of Fear in terms of Emotions here, but we may speak of fear in larger terms in other discussions. But for the point of discussion regarding Emotion, Fear is often that bodily reaction to protections against all that is related to negative experiences of Anger and Surprise. In broader terms, it could be said that Fear is also the bodily response to all of these Emotions in their negative poles. [Juni] I am wondering about the difference between feelings/emotions and intuition. If feelings/emotions only ever tell you about oneself, how do you distinguish that from a "feeling" about another? [MEntity] Intuition is different from Emotions. Again, these are often presumed to be the same things, which is why many who use "intuition" are merely guided by a maze of emotions, and not insights. This is not a bad thing in the end, because when "intuition" is thought to be a process of navigating Emotionally, it can still be helpful, since Emotions always lead one back to the self. This can be just as important as guiding one outwardly. However, to more directly respond to your question, one's "feelings" about another person can still be useful, even if those feelings or Emotions are informing one about the self. It simply means that one has owned the feeling as one's own, and not as having originated from another person. If a person "makes you feel good," it is informing you as to how you feel about that person, but it is not necessarily how anyone else might feel about that person. And it only tells you how you feel about that person RIGHT NOW, not about how you will feel about that person in the future. All of this speaks to your past as a reference, too. If you meet someone and presume that your good feelings are the truth about that person, you have immediately cut yourself out of the picture as a source of those good feelings. This is often the case when "falling in love." Presuming that these Emotions and feelings are sourced by someone else means that there will likely come a day that the other is then blamed for less pleasant feelings. This becomes problematic for relating to someone because then the emphasis shifts away from how you contribute to your range of emotions and feelings, and the emphasis shifts toward how to get the other person to make you feel the way you had expected to feel. So there is no real differentiation here. Your feelings about a person are your own, and are not the truth about another person. There is a big difference between "I feel good" and "You make me feel good." Intuition, however, is another topic, and it is a synthesis of input from all of your senses so that comprehension can be gained. [ViP1] Hi Michael. I've read in psychology articles that insufficient contact or interaction (as an infant) with one's mother (or perhaps both parents) in the form of touch, and responses to facial and other cues, can inhibit peoples' abilities to recognize and describe their emotions (or perhaps, feelings?) And hence, leading to difficulties in dealing with them (emotions - or perhaps feelings, I'm not sure which based on your earlier distinction between them. Probably feelings.) Would you say that there is validity to this, and if so, if someone has had this experience in early life, how the processing circuitry is affected (and if possible, tips on how to rectify it, ie, recognize and process emotions effectively?) [MEntity] Any issues with care taking during the first 7 years can affect the Instinctive Part and, therefore, affect one's TRUST. Trust is reset in every lifetime, but how one is handled, treated, nurtured, born, etc. can skew that function so that it has some range of challenges. All Emotions are reset in every lifetime. But as one progresses through the Internal Monads, these Emotions are explored in a way that locks them into Projection or frees them into Reflection. These are not tied to the Internal Monads in a way that leaves an Internal Monad unfinished if the Emotion is not freed, but there do tend to be periods of the life where the various Emotions are emphasized in exploration. For example, Trust is explored and emphasized between the 1st and the 2nd Internal Monad. The 1st and 2nd Internal Monads can be successfully closed, even if Trust is not freed, but there is a rather high correlation to the level of trust vs distrust that one has in relation to whether one has completed those Internal Monads. In other words, there does TEND to be a much higher level of distrust among those who have not successfully closed their 2nd Internal Monad. DISGUST is explored and emphasized from the 2nd Internal Monad all the way through the 3rd Internal Monad. This is why you will find your toddlers to teens emphasizing this in ways that can be repellent and difficult. ANTICIPATION is explored during these, as well. Whereas SADNESS and JOY are explored and emphasized during the 4th Internal Monad. While ANGER and SURPRISE are explored and emphasized during the 5th Internal Monad. This is not to say that these Emotions do not exist as emphasis at any other time. We did not say that, nor did we imply that. But it is to say that those stages tend to be when those particular Emotions come to be truly resolved and freed, or locked into a more restricted state. Speak to a fragment who is successfully navigating the 5th Internal Monad and you will speak to someone who has all but lost the charge of Anger as a form of helplessness, and has freed it to become a form of motivation. Emotions as Polarities This may be a good segue into these Emotions as polarities. Think of the poles below as describing the Emotion as restricted or freed, and therefore more subject to Projection vs Reflection. TRUST as restricted might be FOOLISH/DISTRUST, and freed as CONFIDENCE/AWARENESS DISGUST as restricted might be CAUSTIC/LOATHSOME and freed as HUMOROUS/PREFERENCE Keep in mind that our polarities here are not necessarily emotions. These are merely adjectives to help understand the spectrum of that particular Emotion. SADNESS is restricted as PATHETIC/SELF-PITY and freed as GRIEF/HONESTY. ANGER is restricted as DEPRESSION/BLAME, and freed as MOTIVATION/PURPOSE. ANTICIPATION is restricted as AGITATION/DISDAIN, and freed as ENTHUSIASM/CONSIDERATION. [ViP1] Michael, just to confirm, you are giving negative poles first, then positive, as usual (eg, ENTHUSIASM: -ve, /CONSIDERATION: +ve?) [MEntity] What we are sharing with the two terms for each pole is the branching that the restriction or freeing can show up as. For instance, some restrictive Trust shows up much more like Foolishness or blind faith than as Distrust. But Foolishness and Distrust are fair ranges to include how the Freed end would show up. JOY is restricted as OBNOXIOUS/SELF-INDULGENT, and freed as INCLUSIVE/INVITING SURPRISE is restricted as RESISTANCE/DISREGARD, and freed as ADAPTIVE/PLAYFUL. To bring further correlation, it could be said that these Emotions are more inherently explored and emphasized in various Essence Roles, as well, though this is certainly in no strict sense of delineation. Scholars - Trust; Servers - Disgust; Artisans - Sadness; Warriors - Anger; Priests - Anticipation; Sages - Joy; Kings - Surprise. These inherent Emotions might be said to be a long-term spectrum for each Role to truly comprehend from its worst to its best. Furthermore, one COULD look at one's overleaves and "translate" his or her profile to show how the Personality might be emphasizing certain Emotions as exploration and emphasis. For example, if one has a greater emphasis down the Moving Axis, one might be exploring the wide range of Anger and how this is both debilitating and motivating. QUESTIONS We will open the floor for 2 or 3 final questions. We think we have covered a good amount on the subject of Emotions tonight, and these can be further explored in other exchanges with us. [Tyrant] Do each of the emotion types when blocked or repressed (or stuck in negative poles) have certain types of illness/ailments to them that manifest/what are they? as in, are there consistent patterns in types of ailments [MEntity] Yes, there can be. However, by the time most ailments are showing Physical symptoms, it is often a mix of two or more Emotions that have remained restricted. We can delineate these in another exchange. We would, first, want to share how illnesses/ailments can be broken down into 7, before correlating. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here for today. Good day to each of you
