The 5th Internal Monad -- During and Completed Posted by Geraldine B on June 17, 2013 at 11:44pm in ADVANCED TEACHINGS I've decided to start a discussion thread on the 5th Internal Monad. I'll try to include relevant articles and/or at least the links to other material on the topic. I'll be discussing my own observations of how it has affected me, and I'm hoping that other 5th IMers will chime in with their own experiences and/or observations of either what's going on during the Stages of the IM or how it seems to have affected them afterwards. While so many of the TLE Students are in some Stage of the 4th Internal Monad, as that is completed in positive poles, all will be interested in the next Internal Monad, even if there is a 30 years pause between them. I would characterize the 5th Internal Monad of Re-creation to be one of late middle age, facing retirement. With so many processing the 4th IM during their 20s, that idea may be 100% off the mark. But, the channeling we have currently mentions women and menopause, which is a later life stage of the body. Also, with all of the younger people going through their 4th IM, depending on how they are able to live those decades following it may have huge impact post-4th IM, and they'll enter the 5th from a very different perspective than those who are doing it now. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to have discarded most of my imprinting pre-30s and lived the next 20 years or so as a much more self-empowered person with a regularly occurring conscious connection to Essence, lessened Ego, Maya, and False Personality, and being regularly in positive poles. I hope some of you keep diaries or Journals. MY STORY I had completed both my 4th IM and 5th IM in Negative Poles by the time I was introduced to the Michael Teachings in late 2006 at age 62. I've not asked, but it's even possible that the 3rd was in a similar condition. It wasn't that I hadn't spent a fair amount of energy attempting to grow and develop, but I was locked into a particular mindset of rigid thinking, which didn't acknowledge Essence or Guides. Similarly, I held rigid beliefs about a series of "truths," which included my religious, spiritual, and political worldviews. And, of course, I held some equally rigid views about myself, which kept me in depression on a regular basis. I had bought into a series of lies about myself and couldn't break free. Michael caused an almost instantaneous paradigm shift within a couple of years, anyway. I was awakened to use their term. Suddenly accepting that I wasn't alone, wasn't unlovable, wasn't "wrong," etc,. caused a whole series of slides from negative to positive poles. I've previously likened it to a Pachinko machine that has all kinds of bells and sounds, lights flashing as the balls drop. If it had had sound effects, it might have sounded like the electronic doors that slam open in a prison. This makes my story different from many others as I didn't go through the Stages of these IMs consciously. I'd already gone through them as part of aging, but not as a Michael Student. So, I have no means of looking backwards and seeing what happened when. Within a few years, I was "reborn" to snag a term from elsewhere. Similarly, my Life Task and Goal kicked in but not really under my conscious control. As they say, the rest is history. Most who have interacted with me since 2009 can see the changes as I've moved more in sync with my Life Task of "to draw soft conclusions," and a diminishment of my Self Karma of "to always be right." My sense of absolutism in thinking has been greatly diminished. Being willing to accept many others' viewpoints as being at least valid for them has become noticeable. I'm far more accepting that each of us has choice, and I use mine more consciously and allow others the freedom to be themselves. The pain I'd carried throughout my life about choices made early in life turned out to be part of Abandonment Monads, and were resolved and let go. While I remember some unhappy events, they don't replay on autoloop. They are gone and not worth examining any further. My 30-year marriage to George is similarly defused. Recreation for me has been to take all that I've been and done and create a "new" me that is consistent with ideas I've held for a long time but were crowded out due to pain. The Open Michael Workshops have been very helpful, too. Step by step, month after month, I've opened up my awareness to include new things. The Rejection aspect of Discrimination is nearly gone, or at least not nearly as knee-jerk. But, I still don't LIKE parsnips! Post-5th Internal Monad [Excerpt from TT: 2010-08-04] [Geraldine] I feel as though I’m floating through in between Internal Monads. But, I suspect that’s not quite possible, too. Where am I in the process? [MEntity] Your description is one way of describing such an experience as not being in an Internal Monad. Internal Monads are not back-to-back. Your 5th Internal Monad is complete. Your 6th Internal Monad is the comprehension of the onset of what it is that will help you exit the life. In other words, now that the 5th Internal Monad has been fulfilled, and in the positive pole, you are simply not “working on” anything, and the point of that positive pole fulfillment is the enjoyment of what you have built from it. [Geraldine] thank you — it definitely feels that way [MEntity] This “floating” sensation is actually the result of losing all attachments to not only your own ideas about who you “should be, or should have been,” but to the ikons, attachments, and cording relative to others who had made such determinations about you. Reply by Geraldine B on June 17, 2013 at 11:45pm The Start of the 5th Internal Monad [Excerpt from TT: 2007-01-07] [Kathryn] How does one recognize the start of the 5th IM and what are the various steps/levels experienced as one progresses through the monad? [Michael Entity] Though this question requires a session devoted to it entirely, we can respond briefly here. One can recognize most easily the entrance to the 5th Internal Monad by a strong emphasis in the life to RECREATE IT. The 5th Internal Monad is a process of evaluating the life and all of its accomplishments, fulfillments, agendas, goals, experiences, etc. and then RECREATING the life from a place that could be said to be from a philosophy of “If I knew then what I know now.” If one equates one’s age with a sense of conclusion or lack of time, then one has either NOT completed the Fourth Internal Monad, or one has completed it in a Negative Pole (which are virtually the same thing.) If one looks up and feels an inspiration to experience the freedom gained from knowledge extracted from previous experiences, then one is probably entering the 5th Internal Monad from a place of strong integration of the 4th Internal Monad. The 5th Internal Monad could be said to have a Positive Pole of RECREATION, and a Negative Pole of RESENTMENT. If I understand the concept of 4th internal Monad (and my life) correctly, I did mine twelve years ago. Or at least started it. That happened rather dramatically. Now my life has come to of halt, like the end of a road. Could this be my 5th monad? The Monads remind me of the acts in an opera, or the movements in a symphony. How to dif erentiate between 4th and 5th internal Monad, or Monads generally? That is my question. [Michael_Entity] The 4th Internal Monad has an emphasis on REGAINING INNOCENCE, or put another way, Growing Into Your Own Idea of YOU. The 5th Internal Monad has an emphasis on RECREATING YOUR LIFE, or put another way, HAVING FUN. Your life has come to a halt simply for the sake of your “catching your breath.” There are 7 stages to every cycle of growth whether described in terms of a Monad or in terms of a relationship; 3 Exalted stages, 3 Ordinal stages, and 1 Pivotal/Neutral point. The Pivotal/Assimilative/Neutral Point is a point that can be called upon at ANY TIME during the process of the other 6 stages. This allows the Personality to gain its footing after a particularly difficult stage, if necessary. It is also the point in which you finalize a cycle so as to gain the benefits of the whole process you just completed. Some would call this point THE VOID. We agree with that phrase. [Tibtyc] Is the 4th stage like catching your breath? I mean the Neutral point. [Michael_Entity] What you are describing as a “halt” is more like a moment or period of time much like having your foot between two rungs on a ladder; except that you have forgotten that there is movement. With your emphasis on the suspension between steps, you may feel you are at a halt or even terribly ungrounded or non-directional. But we assure you that you are never at a halt. [Tibtyc] Actually the “halt” only refers to outer aspects. And I keep thinking of the do-re-mi system, the octave [Michael_Entity] The 4th stage within either of the Monads would be MANIFESTATION, or the stage of tangibility. We will include with Troy’s transcription the 7 stages for the 4th and 5th Internal Monads for your further exploration. I did find "7 Stages of the 4th Internal Monad" in late April and have posted it separately. glb] Reply by Geraldine B on June 17, 2013 at 11:47pm 7 Stages of the 5th Internal Monad [GeraldineB] Similar to past questions on the 7 Stages of Internal Monads, I would like the basic information on the 7 Stages of the 5th Internal Monad and any additional information that indicates non-completion of the 5th IM in positive poles vs completing it in positive poles. [MEntity] The 5th Internal Monad could be described as the RECREATIONAL RITE OF PASSAGE. We mean the term in both the embrace of a playful state and the active creativity that brings the life to a new state of acceptance. The 7 Stages may go as such: INITIATION comes with a Positive Pole of Awareness and a Negative Pole of Anxiety. INTROSPECTION comes with a Positive Pole of Appreciation and a Negative Pole of Regret. REALIZATION comes with a Positive Pole of Acceptance and a Negative Pole of Resentment. MANIFESTATION comes with a Positive Pole of Revitalization and a Negative Pole of Punishment. CONTENTMENT comes with a Positive Pole of Vividry and a Negative Pole of Overwhelm. MAGNETIZATION comes with a Positive Pole of Bonding and a Negative Pole of Burden. EMANATION comes with a Positive Pole of Transcendence and Negative Pole of Collapse. Those who move out of this Internal Monad without completion tend to fall quickly into senility, loss of memory, development of Alzheimer's, and/or regress entirely into memories that are programmed into the body, losing focus on the present as a state of existence. Those who move out of this Internal Monad with successful completion tend to return to the past as means for understanding the present in new, profound ways, using anecdotes and stories to help share wisdom; and rather than being consumed by the natural decline of memory, it is utilized as a form of philosophizing, and can even lead to psychic events and breakthroughs. Whereas the 4th Internal Monad is one in which the individual works through the processes of "liking who I have chosen to be," the 5th Internal Monad is one in which the individual works through the processes of "liking who I am," or "who I've become," regardless of what was chosen or intended. The 3rd Internal Monad might be described as Freeing Yourself; the 4th as Defining Yourself; and the 5th as Being Yourself. We are here. You are welcome to interrupt us in our responses for the sake of a conversational tone, but we will also let you know that we have completed a response. This is to keep you from wondering if we are done when there is a pause. We can begin our responses to your questions now. Kathryn41: I suspect I am in the 5th IM right now and I'm looking for some feedback about where I find myself right now. I feel good about a lot of what I've experienced but I also feel like somehow I am in a holding pattern - that maybe I've 'missed' the boat' so to speak. So I am asking' where am I in my life and how does essence perceive what I/we have experienced/accomplished? Is there something more for us planned, somewhere else for me to go? I find little these days that interest me and that just doesn't feel right, so thank you for any insight you may offer. MEntity: It does appear to us that you are at the beginning stages of your 5th Internal Monad. The fact that you are only at the beginning is part of why you sense a kind of void for now. You are looking forward when the 5th Internal Monad is about looking back. That shift of direction, at first, can feel like a stand-still. You certainly have not "missed the boat," but you are also not so comfortable with the past, at least in this context of revisiting the spectrum between Recreation and Regret/Resentment. Recreation is the point of the 5th Internal Monad, and that means revisiting and recalibrating your momentum, adapting it to a completely revised paradigm, revised set of tools, revised priorities, etc. Kathryn41: I feel like I have no momentum at all . . MEntity: Inertia feels like a lack of momentum. Kathryn41: yes MEntity: But you have momentum. The turning of your focus to the past is one that will have to be embraced before feeling that sense of movement and enthusiasm again. What we mean by "the past" is the revisiting to patterns within and without that literally and figuratively do not contribute to your well-being, if they ever did at all. Kathryn41: there is much about the past that feels more in focus for me now than where I am today. I feel like maybe today I am in the wrong pattern and in the past it was a better pattern for the most part . . . MEntity: In your case, you may be finding yourself looking at how your patterns of busy-ness, or focus on doing, has been a part of your sense of importance, sense of purpose, and sense of definition. Kathryn41: ok, that definitely makes sense. MEntity: Finding yourself in a position that is free from definition is exactly the point of entering into a 5th Internal Monad. Kathryn41: well, I am definitely there! :-D So in a way I am starting the process of 'redefining' myself? MEntity: The 5th Internal Monad is a shedding of immaturity, a release of naivety, a leap into creativity that is quite often similar to "if I had known then what I know now," but then taking that and adapting it to the tools and paradigm of your current position in your life. Kathryn41: that leap into creativity sounds good - if I could get the momentum to leap! :-) MEntity: The "if I had known then" often brings with it a process of grief, because it means that you are older, that your body is not what it used to be, and that so many of the ideals of youth are no longer applicable. That is the negative end of the spectrum for entering into the 5th Internal Monad, and it is a necessary step. Grieving what is no longer applicable is a process of accepting the truth of this, and it frees the psyche to then move into creativity. As you allow the grief to be a process of owning the truth of your past vs current health, current status of body, current tools, current ideals, then the recreation can begin. In other words, you are not leaving the past behind, which is what grief can often feel like it is telling you, but you are building upon it in a new way. An example: A person may have had an ambition for competitive sports, having done well, or not, depending on several standards, but upon entering the 5th Internal Monad, it is realized that it is no longer an ambition or practical goal to continue competing. This is going to be met with romanticizing the past, and grieving that shift away from such ambition. It may even be met with regret and resentment that maybe other choices should have been made because now what does a retired sportsman do with his life? That is where the Recreation comes in, if one chooses to move forward through and into the Positive Poles of this Monad. This person could become a coach, a commentator, a consultant, an advisor, write a book, be a tutor, etc, all building upon his past, but within a new paradigm and using a revised set of tools. Kathryn41: so, it is first defining what was the situation in the past, looking at what it is now, deciding what is no longer viable, then finding a new direction to go from building upon the experiences of the past? MEntity: The positive pole process and completion of the 5th Internal Monad is an acceptance of the validity of age and maturity, along with the use of creativity to adapt passions to a revised paradigm and set of tools. Kathryn41: what if you have no passions now? Or is that just part of being in the first level of the 5th IM? MEntity: You do. Everyone does, even the most passionless. But it is simply not prominent now because you are grieving. There is a sadness that must be moved through before feeling that sense of return to yourself. Kathryn41: ah, ok. I can understand that, and it is in its way reassuring to know that there is a reason. MEntity: Not only that, but there is always a phase where one loses all definition as a means to redefine. Kathryn41: I think I'm there . . . MEntity: There are two key phrases that may help you to focus through this phase: IT IS NEVER TOO LATE. By this we mean that it is vital to remember that life is not "over" just because the youthful part of it has been peaked. The youthful part of it was just that: a PART of it. MY PASSION IS AN OCEAN. By this we mean that it will help you to remember that you are like the beach on the shores of the ocean, and the ebb and flow of a tide does not mean the ocean has disappeared. Kathryn41: thank you for the second one especially - that one I can definitely use MEntity: There is a third key that could be used, as well, and that is to allow your lack of obvious passion and your openness/search for it to be its own form of passion. Kathryn41: . . . be passionately dispassionate? hehehe MEntity: By this we mean that your passion can be a kind of curiosity for what is next. And "what is next" is as much a result of your creativity as it is about your life unfolding from Essence. Passion is often sparked by Curiosity, so when you give credit to even the slightest curiosity that you may have about something, someone, or yourself, this can keep the embers of passion, so to speak, glowing enough to be felt. Kathryn41: ok, so find my curiosity and 'run with it' so to speak :-) MEntity: No, there is no need to run with it; merely acknowledging that you are curious is enough. Kathryn41: and don't worry if it relates to who I was or how I was earlier in my life, but find it in the now . . . ok - even easier, hehe MEntity: Your curiosity may not be something that is of interest to run with, but it can remind you that you are still peeking through the eyes of passion. Kathryn41: ok, so I have sort of been tethering my own creativity by not allowing myself just to be 'curious' about what is now rather than trying to make it fit into what was before? MEntity: And greater than all of this is the reminder that you are not defined by your past, not defined by your passions, not defined by your lack of passions, and that having that lack of definition is not a lack of importance, meaning, or self. Kathryn41: thank you. It does help to know what is going on - so much! MEntity: We do not see that you have "not allowed" yourself to be curious as much as we see that you have simply not realized that it was a valid cue. And yes, you have tried to superimpose the past onto the patterns of the present, but as you know, this only confuses the patterns of the present because the current patterns are born of the past, but not duplicates of the past. A vine growing in a pattern on the wall can take branches around a corner into a completely new world, without having left its source. Kathryn41: I like that image MEntity: The 5th Internal Monad is like that corner, and your perspective is like that turn around the corner. It feels inevitable, final, and like a loss because you can no longer see "who you are" from back around that corner, but you are still profoundly connected to who you are, even as you move in such a new direction. Kathryn41: I guess I wasn't seeing until now that it is a corner . .. the analogy works. MEntity: We realize we are using poetic plant metaphors, but we think they are relevant to you. Kathryn41: they are, thank you. I relate well to analogies, LOL MEntity: So to clarify: You are in a process now of looking back, even as you move forward, and this feels like an inertia, but it is just a part of the process. You are looking back as a necessary part of the process so that you can see from where you have come, but not as a means to duplicate that, but more as a way to build upon that in new directions. The lack of passion you feel is directly proportional to what you KNOW about your new directions, and you know nothing of those, yet. You Know about the past, because you already experienced it, and it was a familiar pattern for a long time. But that does not mean your passion is lost to the past. It simply means you are in the process of revitalizing it, rejuvenating it, recalibrating it. During that phase, there is a tenderness, and it is important to allow for that tenderness, if you wish to move into Recreation, because that tenderness is your redefinition, your new malleableness. Kathryn41: a tenderness? The sense of loss, the grief and the coming to terms with it emotionally? MEntity: The 4th Internal Monad is about shedding the ideas of the past, and of others' who do not support your own ideas about who you are and what you do. The 5th Internal Monad is about shedding your own ideas about who you are, and about what you do, and recreating from a clean slate, often including the participation of Essence. Kathryn41: aha! MEntity: The 4th Internal Monad is about Purpose. The 5th Internal Monad is about Play. Kathryn41: ok. Hehehe so what is essence interested in now? And I am only being half facetious here . . I have appreciated our 'partnership' and have long been aware that we - personality and essence - have made a good 'team'. MEntity: The tenderness we speak of is meant to describe the sensitivity that comes with the lack of passion, the look to the past, the feeling of grief, if that is present. We then meant that this softness, tenderness, sensitivity is exactly what allows for the malleability that frees you and lets you redefine yourself anew. Kathryn41: ok, thank you MEntity: Your last question is one that only you can answer, and your curiosity is the first step here. We are being wholly non-facetious. Kathryn41: It's alright - I will let essence speak for itself and we will figure out this 'recreation' together. Yes, I understand. MEntity: As with any passion, inspiration, or creativity, it is generated from within, or discovered externally, often by surprise, stumbled upon, or realized without having intended for it to happen. That is the part you can leave up to Essence. Kathryn41: I will. MEntity: We will conclude here with you today, Kathryn. Kathryn41: This is so good, Michael, Thank you so much. I very much appreciate this insight as it has given me an understanding and a clarity about what is going on. I think this session really clarified that the 5th IM IS a "change of life" due to aging and maturity monad. I don't see how many under 50, especially during our modern times, would be ready for recreation. Everyone is aging more "gracefully." But, I also remember that Michael has said that for women to not accept one's body and allow for menopausal changes is to be in negative poles of the 5rth. This is what HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) does -- it stalls off aging. Many women continue to have their periods due to HRT as they've not shut off the reproductive processes. Others go through cosmetic surgeries, extreme physical fitness regimens, etc., to stall off aging. But, again there is a big difference between adding a regimen that allows one to remain more physically fit so one can "play" and enjoy those later years more fruitfully than avoidance of them and wanting to still be "young." The 5th IM is all about inward looking and changes. It's about acceptance of oneself and then finding things that are "suitable" for the individual, not of social pressures of suitability. Janet? Are you ready? :) Reply by Janet on December 8, 2016: Geraldine added that last question because she knew I had a session scheduled that day in which I planned to ask about my 5th IM. I never responded directly to the original thread, but I will add my material here. From a POF on December 18, 2012: [MEntity] It appears that you have completed your 5th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole over the past 30 days or so, and this is now activating Agreements relative to where you are, both internally and externally. The embrace of who you ARE vs who you think you were supposed to be has come to closure enough to close out this Internal Monad. Once one surrenders to the concept of relieving themselves of, not only the expectations, demands, and imprinting of others, but also the expectations, demands, and impositions from the self, then the blossoming of ones wholeness moves into new levels. From a private session on June 19, 2013: Janet: Geraldine has started a TLE discussion about the 5th internal monad so I thought I should ask a question that has been on my back burner for awhile. You told me that I completed my 5th IM in early 2012, and that I had entered the 7th stage of the 5th IM way back in 2007. I am still on the downside of 60, so perhaps I completed this IM earlier than ‘average’, but I think it’s interesting that just the 7th stage took more than 4 years. Can you please tell me the approximate times and/or ages I passed through my 2nd through 4th IMs and when I started the 5th IM? I’d like to try to associate my IMs with what was going on in my life at the time. I’m also curious about whether I might have completed the 5th IM earlier than most tend to anticipate because the 5th IM was completed in my last lifetime. Does completion of IMs in earlier lifetimes of the soul age level help to speed the process and might that help explain why we have a number of young people on TLE who are already in their 4th IM? MEntity: Your 7th Stage took some time because the wrapping up of the 5th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole is about revisiting the past in a way that renews it as a resource, rather than escaping it as a burden, or over-romanticizing with sentimentality. It is a transformation of the past into a fuel for the present, not an anchor. The First Internal Monad appears to have been completed within the first three weeks of life. The Second Internal Monad appears to have been completed between the years of 3 to 6. The 3rd Internal Monad appears to have been completed over the years between 12 and 15. The 4th Internal Monad appears to have been completed over the years between 28 and 35. That is, in general across the various versions of you. Completing Internal Monads in a previous life does help the next Personality to complete those already completed. This is not guaranteed, and depends greatly on the Personality's interest in Manifesting Essence. The more one Manifests Essence, the more the access to that momentum. These previous completions help to contribute to the acceleration among physically-younger fragments who come to the path earlier in the life, yes. However, that early move through the 4th Internal Monad is not dependent upon this. Ultimately, it will always be dependent upon the current Personality and the choices made. There are times when the first Personality of a Soul Age and Level completes all Internal Monads through the 6th, yet the next 10 may not get past the 3rd. Janet: And about when was the start of my 5th IM? MEntity: We think your move into the 5th Internal Monad would have been around 1999. Janet: Oh of course. As I expected. Note from Janet: Did you do the math? My 5th IM took more than 12 years! Finally, I should include material from my most recent session that referenced the 5th IM. From a private session on March 17, 2016: MEntity: Hello to you, Janet. We are here, now. We can begin. Janet: Good morning Michael! I’ve had June 4 2016 as a target for ‘early retirement’ for several years now, and as the time approaches I have very cold feet. I’m too young to really retire, but I think 30 years doing one type of work is long enough. I can’t afford to be without a job for an extended period, so I need (and want) another job, and maybe a new career. I’d prefer to have an income stream of some sort lined up before I give notice. The problem is that I have no criteria for what comes next other than it should provide reasonable income, an outlet for creativity, and hopefully travel or time for travel. It also needs to be something different than my current technical IT job. I can’t search for jobs in online want ads based on those criteria. My imagination is giving me nothing concrete to actively search for other than falling back to editorial and writing work, but is falling back to that type of work just playing it safe? [secondary question omitted due to lack of relevance to this thread] Can you give me any other information or advice about what’s in store ‘post-retirement’? I need a focus as to where to look or listen or go for whatever comes next. Or maybe I just need to have the patience to wait for the solution to appear, if that’s what it takes. End of rambling question MEntity: Your "rambling" is quite coherent and we understand the uncertainty and unknowing quality of such a stage in life. Your concerns and considerations are valid. What you are experiencing is normal and a part of the process of Recreation, or the 5th Internal Monad. It is supposed to be a free fall, a leap into uncertainty, at least in terms of shedding old ideas about the self in ways that allow for new ideas to bloom from deep within. When in the Recreation phase of life, you are processing an internal struggle between how you have come to define yourself in terms of DOING and now look to define yourself in terms of BEING. The "doing" part is still important, but will not be where the satisfaction is fulfilled. For those who intend to complete the 5th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, it can be helpful to note that the qualities that support such manifestation of Essence without the weight of a lifetime of defined parameters are creativity, nurturing, and exploration. Whatever you intend to do as a source of income, it must meet one or more of those conditions for it to be fulfilling. Janet: I must clarify something. You previously told me I had completed the 5th IM, back in 2012. Am I now revisiting it or were there just unfinished components? MEntity: Yes, you have completed it, but there is world on the other side of it, and it is here. Everything you did as part of your intention to complete the 5th Internal Monad in the Positive Pole is now bearing its true fruits, so to speak. Because the 5th Internal Monad is heavy in emphasis on Intellect, it is much "easier" to move through the Internal Monad in concept and truly process all that is required to resolve the struggle between Doing and Being, and freeing oneself from one's own ideas. However, on the other side of this the action and inspiration then come into focus in more obvious ways. In addition to this, once one has completed an Internal Monad, it is quite common to then use what was learned to then "do it again" on deeper or more apparent levels of the life. In other words, what is learned becomes a skill and though you have recreated yourself at one point, you are doing it again and may do it again and again several times before the 6th Internal Monad. You are no longer in any "danger" of remaining stuck in a Negative Pole, but you will still use the same process/stages. So you are again in freefall, uncertainty, and experiencing the Anxiety of the first Stage. It is familiar enough to you that you are not fearful, but this does not remove the necessity for restricted focus that will then broaden as you move toward Awareness. ... [material omitted that was not tied to 5th IM] To move from Anxiety to Awareness you will find yourself moving more and more toward a "fuck it, why not" approach and uncover not only new depths of ideas and creativity and expression, but you will not lose the choreographer who can still anticipate the rhythms of the life and manage the details.

I thought that I had a year or so back, but a fellow student told me that it's possible to NOT complete in positive, in which case I will need to pick up from there in next lifetime. I feel more of a neutral passage than a positive one. Will Michael please comment? <MEntity> Oh, yes. It is often true that "completed" can mean one is done working through the Internal Monads and simply remains where one is, not progressing through the subsequent Internal Monads. However, one can transition into a subsequent Internal Monad, even if one has left a previous Internal Monad in the Negative Pole, but this would mean progression would remain fairly limited to the Negative Poles of that subsequent Internal Monad. For example, one could "complete" the 4th Internal Monad in the Negative Pole (technically meaning incomplete), and move into the 5th Internal Monad, locked into the Negative Poles until the issues related to the 4th are resolved for true completion. In your case, however, your completion was true, and your move into the 5th Internal Monad during the year of 2011 was a freely moving progression. True Completion does not mean one is free from requiring revisits to issues of the past, relative to previous Internal Monads, but one would not be locked into a spiral of Negative Poles in that case. Progression always "enters" the Negative Pole of a Stage, and "exits" the Positive Pole of the Stage, moving into the Negative of the next, and so on. This is the progression toward True Completion. <BC> Good. Now I'm wondering what of the 2nd & 3rd I've left incomplete...I will be revisiting and re-reading about the IM's for sure. <MEntity> Movement through only the Negative Poles can feel like movement, but there is no true completion, just resignation or constant struggles relative the efforts. <BC> I'm familiar with that dynamic. <MEntity> BC, if your 4th Internal Monad was a True Completion, it means it could only have been so if the previous Internal Monads were as well. <BC> That is good to know. I don't feel incomplete, but just remember how I used to struggle in my 20's, 30's, and even 40's. Getting older is much more mellow! <MEntity> Yes, much of the work of your 2nd and 3rd Internal Monads were done during your 4th. It was not easy. You are free, now. <BC> Big sigh.....no wonder that 4th was so hard...makes sense now. And has the ring of Truth <MEntity> Your Rite of Passage (internal monad) now is merely to do the work of re-creating yourself and your life, but free from even the identities secured in the 4th Internal Monad. The 4th Internal Monad is a Rite of Passage for owning your identity and life on your own terms. The 5th is about freeing yourself from even those terms, and re-discovering yourself again.
September 12, 2010 Troy Tolley, Channel Internal Monads [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We can begin now. We have been asked to speak about the processes we have named “The 7 Internal Monads.” We can define “Monad” in many ways, but here we will describe it as “the natural process toward wholeness,” or “the structure provided for two parts of a whole to eventually manifest even greater than the sum of those parts.” A Monad will always have two parts that are vital to the whole, but are eventually resolved, or comprehended, so that those two parts ARE the whole, and not divided. There are Internal and External Monads: the External Monads are variations on relationships between fragments; whereas Internal Monads are variations on relationships with the self, or within the self. These Monads are ALWAYS about “manifesting,” or generating a material counterpart as representation for that structure, process, and eventual wholeness. The External Monads are obvious in that they deal with the space and time between two incarnated fragments, but the Internal Monads are not often understood as having physical/manifested counterparts or representations, because they are often more abstract. However, these Internal Monads’ physical/manifested counterparts are THE LIFE, ITSELF. As we describe each Monad, this may become more clarified and obvious. The 7 Internal Monads are processed and manifested by the Personalities across lifetimes, and these processes and manifestations then contribute to the higher processes of the Essence that must complete a set of 7 Internal Monads for each Level of each Soul Age. In every lifetime, the Personality starts “from scratch” in initiating and taking on these Internal Monads, but the Essence retains the benefit of each Personality’s effort and does not have to start from scratch. Therefore, in any given lifetime, the Essence may be at the 4th Internal Monad, while the current Personality is in the 3rd Internal Monad, for instance. If that same Personality progresses to successfully process the 5th Internal Monad, then it progresses the Essence closer to completion of that particular Soul Level. If it helps one to differentiate between the Essence process of these, and the Personality process, it could be said that the Essence integrates Internal Monads, and the Personality contributes to that by processing as many of the 7 “Rites of Passages” as possible within a lifetime. “Internal Monads” and “Rites of Passages” are rather interchangeable here, but to make it easier to understand, this differentiation may help. It is rare that any Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads, or Rites of Passages within one lifetime. Even if a Personality lives to 80 years old, he or she may still have not completed any Rite of Passage beyond the 2nd, or 3rd, for instance. Using a very simple analogy: Imagine that the successful completion of a Rite of Passage is akin to a Personality filling a basket for Essence. Let us use Oranges as that which must fill the baskets. Personality One within a Soul Age Level will begin the process by fulfilling the First Rite of Passage in being successfully born. This fills the first basket of oranges for Essence. Personality One is also able to process Rite of Passages Two and Three, filling two more baskets with Oranges collected. Personality One takes on the beginning of the Fourth Rite of Passage and begins putting Oranges in the basket for Essence, but never really gets past this Rite of Passage, even though she lives to 90. She will remain locked in a mindset, behavior dynamic, and local perspective that is akin to having never evolved beyond a 30-something year old, despite her physical age. Personality One dies, and Essence now moves that row of baskets out of the way, sets up a new row of baskets for Personality Two, and Personality Two now begins his or her process of gathering Oranges for those baskets. Even though the new Personality must start from scratch in filling the baskets, it is easier now that there is precedence and experience that the new Personality would have access to, if open to Essence. In short, there must be AT LEAST one Personality/incarnation that can fill all the baskets successfully within one lifetime as a means to move Essence on to the next Level of Soul Age. In some rare instances when an Essence moves from one Soul Age Level into the next Level within the same lifetime, then that Personality not only filled the baskets enough to allow for Essence to move to the next Level, but now that there is a new Level, the Personality actually starts again from scratch in filling the baskets relevant to that new Level. This is similar to living “two lifetimes in one.” We say that it is similar, but it is not literal, though often it actually does appear to be a distinct line that defines that transition and then the lifetime seems to be divided into two very different lives. When this happens, the Personality will go through a kind of psycho-emotional “death” as its completion of 7 Internal Monads, and then a kind of psycho-emotional “birth” as it begins the next Level. There are 7 Rites of Passages/Internal Monads, and we will briefly describe each now. Each Internal Monad has 7 Stages within it. Each Stage has a Positive and Negative Pole. Every process through an Internal Monad will mean entering the Negative Pole, then exiting from the Positive Pole for each Stage. This means that a “successful” Internal Monad would be completing the 7th Stage in the Positive Pole, leaving the entire Monad in the Positive Pole. In keeping with the baskets of oranges analogy, a Negative Pole would simply be an unfilled basket. The 7 Internal Monads are: Birth, Autonomy, Independence, Manifestation, Recreation, Comprehension, and Death. These may be called by different names through our various channels, but the basic information should remain consistent. Although each Rite of Passage is associated with various time frames represented by the ages of the Body, they are not specifically tied to those time frames. Different cultures and different societies and different Body Types will affect how the process of these Passages go. For certain cultures where life spans are only 20 years, vs other cultures where a lifespan may be 100 years, one can see how the Monads may play out differently. Those cultures and societies where life is more condensed tend to attract those who are working through Infant, Baby, and Young Levels, whereas Late Young, Mature and Older Souls tend toward cultures, societies, and bodies that emphasize length of life. We include in these differentiations the reference to “society” because social constructs, even within the same culture, may emphasize life at different paces, and thus have different time frames relative to the Passages. That being said, in general: Birth is obviously at Birth, where Autonomy is usually relative to the individual taking his or her first steps, and Independence is relative to an individual separating his or her identity and primary resources from the influences of his or her caretakers (parents); Manifestation is relative to an individual returning to a sense of innocence and personal meaning about the self and life; Recreation is relative to an individual freeing himself or herself from the momentum of “purpose” and shifts into an emphasis on “enjoying life,” or re-creating it; Comprehension is relative to the onset of whatever will end the life, and the individual’s ability to come to terms with his or her mortality; and Death, of course, is exiting the Physical Plane. Many of our students presume that Birth and Death are Internal Monads that are a given, but that is not accurate. The successful completion of Birth is indicated by “staying alive.” For the most part, this is marked by good health. If a body dies before the age of 3, it did not successfully complete the Birth Monad. The successful completion of Death is indicated by the impact one’s death has on those who remain physical. If those who remain are left devastated, deeply attached, and profoundly tied to the physical version of oneself, then one has not successfully “died.” The death, itself, is only the beginning, and the stages involved are done post-death, by working with those still incarnated in processing their grief. Completing all 7 Rites of Passage within a single lifetime takes practice, effort, and commitment to an extent that is often not available or an inclination of every Personality, so an Essence will remain within a single Level of Soul Age as long as it takes. Within a lifetime where the Personality does not complete an early Rite of Passage, such as, say, the 3rd Internal Monad of Independence, it means that this person has left that Internal Monad paused in the Negative Pole, and every Internal Monad attempted beyond that will be locked in the Negative Pole, as well. Using the baskets of oranges as an analogy, it would mean that no matter how hard that Personality tries to fill baskets 4, 5, and 6, they will only be able to fill them to the extent that basket 3 is filled. In cases such as this, which are not uncommon, it is possible to “go back” and fill the unfilled basket, or to complete the 3rd Internal Monad, freeing up the capacity to complete the next. This would mean, even if the Personality is in her 50s, that she can work through her issues related to Independence, self-reliance, and her relationships with Authority, as a means to then work on her 4th Internal Monad, and so on. In short, it is a valid and relevant statement that “it is never too late to have a happy childhood,” as an example for completing incomplete Passages. We wish to point out here that while our teaching can be understood and made useful at any age, it is not until the successful completion of the 4th Internal Monad that the full extent of its application can be comprehended. This is why you see so few fellow students among you, or even that you see so few interested in our teaching, in general; it is simply not very interesting or truly applicable to those who “do not know themselves.” This is not a judgment, but a matter of fact. For this teaching to have its full effect, one must be awake, and most who have not completed the 4th Internal Monad are still in some degree, if not completely, asleep. By “asleep” and “awake,” we simply mean the spectrum between self-absorption and self-awareness. Self-absorption, or being asleep, is marked by a preoccupation with the self, such as through defensiveness, self-indulgence, presentation, brooding, consuming, etc. And self-awareness, or being awake, is marked by, for example, valued sensitivity, right intuition, concentric compassion, enthusiastic curiosity, a kind presence, patient resonance to others, and no defenses or shields. Those are examples, but there are others, of course. We have covered Birth and Death in terms of successful or unsuccessful completion, and we will now quickly describe the other 5 Internal Monads in terms of the same. The 2nd Rite of Passage, which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility. The 3rd Rite of Passage, which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself. The 4th Internal Monad, or Rite of Passage, which is Manifestation, is initiated by one’s mid-life assessment as a means to determine the meaning of the life lived so far, and then calibrating the life to an updated course or path so that Essence may manifest. Part of that process and assessment means looking into the past as far back as childhood, and in that looking, finding all of the things that you determined have defined you, made you happy, that have fulfilled you as a child or teen, and then nurturing that same innocence in your life as an adult. A successful completion means truly liking who you are, and embracing the playfulness of your life as you move deeper into it as an embodiment of your Essence, or core Being. An incompleted 4th Internal Monad is often marked by an attempt to replicate the life that was once seen as so innocent, locking the person into a state that desperately seeks meaning, importance, and purpose. The 5th Internal Monad of Recreation is marked by a realization of relief from the need for purpose, meaning, and importance, but finds the emphasis being upon those little things that make the life worth living (on your terms). The life is literally “re-created” in a way that is a new paradigm, free from the burdens of navigation and direction, but entirely embracing of wandering, coasting, and “enjoying the view,” so to speak. The successful completion would often show up as a new enthusiasm for a layer of life that was once cluttered and clouded by over-eagerness and over-anticipation. There is a softness to the life in a way that was never experienced before, and a true joy in many things that would otherwise be dismissed. An incompleted 5th Rite of Passage might show up as bitterness, regret, anger, resentment, and disgust, sometimes concluding that life has no meaning or point, and therefore condemning anyone or anything to pointlessness and meaninglessness. And finally, the 6th Rite of Passage, Comprehension, is marked by the onset of that which will be the cause of death. This is the only Rite of Passage that can most-often be processed in a matter of seconds. A successful completion would show up as a surrender to the reality of mortality, and a full review of the life in a way that brings comprehension to the fact that one has lived and one is now dying. This can happen in a car crash, or in a long-term illness, etc. Time takes on a completely new dimension in this Passage. The incomplete Internal Monad here would show up as anything representing a rejection of mortality, ranging between resignation, apathy, to delusion, dementia, and denial. In instances such as a car crash, the individual may actually “re-live” the entire life in new ways that account for corrections of betrayals, missed opportunities, etc. before actually exiting. That experience can be a means of review, or as a means of denial. We will conclude here, then, in speaking about the 7 Internal Monads, and open the floor to the first 5 questions, due to time constraints. ****QUEUE IS OPEN**** We will respond to further questions after this transcript is posted in your “TLE FORUMS.” [Geraldine] Michael. I still don’t understand how the “two lifetimes in one” works. If a Personality has to go through all 6 IMs in the same incarnation in order to reach the 7th — How does one get all six of those “oranges” in the basket by age 40 in order to do an early 7th? (such as AnnH). Or my son-in-law Brian Fisher who went through this by age 30. Especially since neither one would have been considered “all in positive poles” at those ages. How would one work with “those still incarnated in processing their grief,” if there is no grief? Would one’s concurrents processing IMs help since we all started our incarnations at the same Soul Level? [MEntity] We did not elaborate fully into the “two lifetimes in one”, or the transiting of Soul Levels within a lifetime, because we had elaborated on this in other transcripts. However, we will try to clarify again here. If an Essence has 5 or more baskets full, so to speak, upon creating a new Personality, then that Personality is only tasked with the potential to fill those remaining baskets. However, to get to those baskets 5, 6, and 7, for example, the body and Personality must still fill baskets 1 through 4 in its own way in order to even get to the 5th basket. After baskets 1-4 have been filled multiple times by multiple Personalities over multiple lifetimes, then each subsequent lifetime/Personality has a potentially easier time fulfilling those same baskets. Although there are physical counterparts to each Monad, which is often associated with age time frames, we have also pointed out that they are not tied to those age time frames. Beyond the factors of culture and society as influences, we can also say that one’s PSYCHOLOGICAL process is just as physical a counterpart as one’s physical aging. Therefore, when one is transiting a Level within a lifetime, that Personality can quickly (by age standards) be Born, Walk, Gain Independence, Manifest Essence, and then begin the Recreation process, all by the end of one’s teen age years. This is because while there are certain physical cues that are tied to the Passages, there are also Psychological cues, and these are just as, if not more, vital than the more obvious Physical cues. This means that rather than having a physical retirement/recreation due to age, it happens due to psyche, and rather than physically dying due to accident, illness, or suicide, there is a psychological “death” that then moves through a “birthing” process. Those who transit a Level within a lifetime are now throwing off the usual cues that one can more obviously see in terms of one “growing up,” so these Personalities can often seem more complicated, difficult, and lacking significant maturing processes that another person might show. They do not necessarily appear to be any wiser or more together than any other, and more often, actually, appear not to be particularly wise, and often quite scattered. This is because the psyche is not only developing at a different pace from the body, but by the time the body is older, then the psyche is reborn again in a way that is quite disorienting. This complex process is why this kind of transition is rare, except in Older Souls. Once the fragment in transition has filled the 7 baskets, then the life is marked with a new set of baskets to begin filling, which are rarely ever filled beyond the 4th basket in those kinds of lifetimes. [Maureen] What “happens” in between IMs – for example: Having successfully completed the 4th IM – one could whiz into the 5th or take a decade – If it takes a decade is it like being on a plateau or is it a mix between the 2 IMs ?? [MEntity] While one is “in” a Passage, there is a definite sense that there is living to do. When one is “between” Passages, there is a definite sense that there is work to do. We are using the term “living” here to describe the experience of submersion into the life that often feels like being underwater, then coming up for air, over and over. We use the term “work” here to describe the experience of finally being on land and moving your way over territories of relevance and meaning. For instance, during the 3rd Internal Monad, there may be waves of great angst, rebellion, and constant inner turmoil, mixed with homesickness, deep gratitude, and a sense of self emerging as one breaks away from the influences of parents. Upon completion of that Monad, then the business of income, maintaining an apartment, paying bills, etc., then comes into focus. It might be more appealing to describe the differences between being In and Between Monads as “living” and “learning,” as what was lived through the Passage is now put into practice before the next Passage. [Oscar] Hello Michael. Could you please elaborate a little about how exactly Body Type can affect the process? [MEntity] Active Body Types, such as Saturnine, Mercurial, Martial, and Solar tend to process Internal Monads “faster” than the Passive Body Types of Lunar, Jovial, and Venusian. The Active/Positive Body Types of Saturn and Solar being the “fastest” while the Passive/Negative of Lunar being the “slowest.” We speak of these in terms of “pure” Body Types, so it is wise to keep in mind that there are no “pure” Body Types, all having a mix of other energies, and influences. The reason for their “speed” of processing a Passage is relative to the Primary Glandular System that regulates experiences for that Body. For instance, the Anterior Pituitary and the Thymus tend to help the body process experiences far more “quickly” than that of the Pancreatic system. This is because the Anterior Pituitary, for instance, is a stimulus for all other glandular systems, and the Thymus regulates the overall health/immunity of all systems, so their being the primary influence is powerful in these Passages. Whereas the Pancreas is insular in its processes, even though they do ultimately affect the entire system. It is that insularity of the process of consumption and production of fuel that contributes to the slower processing of experiences for the body. [Karine] How can you “predict” when someone will enter a monad? For example, you told me that you think I will begin my 4th internal monad near the end of 2012. Do Essences plan in advance during the course of a life when a personality will enter the next monad? [MEntity] We can only see the same things that you can see in terms of Passages, though we may be able to see it more clearly. So when we can see a time frame for completion of a Monad, using the analogy of the baskets, we are basing this on how full the basket is, and the pace at which you have been filling it. We can then extrapolate from there. The same could be said for those that are slated to begin. We can look at the previous Passage and the factors that went into entering it, filling the basket, and exiting it, and how much time was spent between other Passages, proportionally speaking. That being said, yes, Essence will anticipate a time frame that “looks good” for entering a Passage, and we can see those notes, if they are there. In the end, whether we use calculations, or the notes in your records from Essence, it will always be the Personality that decides whether and when to enter into a Passage. So we may be very far off in our information in the end. [Bobby] In your presentation of the 7th IM, there seems to be far more to it than I realized. For instance, I didn’t realize that to transit it in the positive pole, if those left behind grieved terribly over your passing it could keep you from completing it in the positive. I had an aunt who lost a son and never seemed to get over it. Would that be an appropriate example of him finishing his 7th IM in the negative pole? Joey Williams was his name by the way, if that helps. [MEntity] It is not so much in the depth of the grieving, but in the length of time in grieving, and yes, to the extent that one has not helped to prepare loved ones and friends for one’s death, and to the extent that one lacks the ability to comfort those “left behind,” then the 7th Internal Monad is not completed. There will always be at least one lifetime/Personality who dies within a Level in a way that those who remain physical will fully grasp that that Personality had a full life, and that death was embraced without surprise or regret or terror. Because death is so difficult for even the oldest of souls to experience, it takes only one lifetime for this to happen as a means for the Level to be transitioned. And if one ponders the 7 Passages for a moment, it may become more obvious that one who has moved through each in a Positive Pole, may have generated a life and network of relationships that more easily comes to terms with that death. That is not to say that even the most successful of 7th Internal Monads would leave no one grieving. Grief is natural and important, and is a process of accepting a profound truth that replaces a previous truth. In the case of the fragment you mentioned as an example, we think that fragment is still working on completing that Monad, and remains in the process of support for the one who is grieving. Some fragments choose to remain in that process “as long as it takes.” We will conclude here. Good evening to each of you.
MICHAEL SPEAKS Online 010707 [stryper] My question deals with what seems to be a mis-definition. In the overleaves for this year it seem that Michael mention there would be much revealing of truths. The biological reaction being tears. Connotatively crying is usually called an emotional reaction. Yet the recognition of Truth is intellectual. So it seems to me that the definition is backwards. What am I missing here? [Michael Entity] Tears are the biological reaction to Truth; more accurately speaking, Tears are the biological response to the ACCEPTANCE of Truth. Acceptance is also Intellectually-based, or resonant to the Higher Intellect. People have come to associate Tears with Emotions because of the feelings that are often involved in the processing of Truth, and while the Emotional Center is used as a part of the process, so are other Centers, but the use of various Centers as a means to help integrate Truth does not mean that the symptom of Tears is linked to those Centers, specifically. Tears associated with sadness, elation, awe-inspiring beauty, happiness, excitement, pain, etc. are still provoked by the TRUTH of those experiences, not in the emotions fluctuating around those experiences. We have never said that Tears are not associated with Feelings, but they are not reactions or responses to Feelings. Another reason Tears are often thought to be associated with Emotion is because part of the blockage to Truth is frequently in the emotional realm. When that emotional blockage is breached, healed, transformed, etc, the acceptance of truth can be had, thus resulting in tears. Tears mean that there is no denying the truth of that moment or experience, ranging from a stubbed toe to the loss of a loved one, from a thrilling moment of clarity to a life-changing realization. [stryper] Would the removal of blockage be part of the relief people often feel after crying? (i.e. having intellectually known the truth, yet emotionally not accepting it) [Michael Entity] There are chemical compositions within Tears that are as biologically important to release as any other "waste," and in that release there is often relief. Often the "waste" is directly related to the build up of denials, distractions, false truths, emotional blockages, etc. [tkmppi] If one chooses one's Chief Feature very early, for instance at 12, what are the consequences for one's development? [Michael Entity] The greatest "consequence" we can see as a result of developing a Chief Negative Feature early in life is either a deeply-rooted rejection of the caretakers, or a deeply-dysfunctional attachment to the caretakers. This is because a Chief Negative Feature is usually not a habit of one's own behavior until approximately the teenage years, and the use of a Chief Feature before that time is usually one imposed by a caretaker, either through the modeling of that fear, or in the nurturing of that fear for the child. It is not that the child is the victim of this imposition, but simply that it is learned from a strong influence. Often a child who exhibits behavior that could be described as a Chief Negative Feature has not actually "chosen" this method of protection, but are merely feeding back, embodying, or complimenting the fears of the parents/caretakers. Until a child has begun the Third Internal Monad, it is safe to say that any exhibited fears are usually an extension of the caretakers' fears. [Kathryn] How does one recognize the start of the 5th IM and what are the various steps/levels experienced as one progresses through the monad? [Michael Entity] Though this question requires a session devoted to it entirely, we can respond briefly here. One can recognize most easily the entrance to the 5th Internal Monad by a strong emphasis in the life to RECREATE IT. The 5th Internal Monad is a process of evaluating the life and all of its accomplishments, fulfillments, agendas, goals, experiences, etc. and then RECREATING the life from a place that could be said to be from a philosophy of "If I knew then what I know now." If one equates one's age with a sense of conclusion or lack of time, then one has either NOT completed the Fourth Internal Monad, or one has completed it in a Negative Pole (which are virtually the same thing.) If one looks up and feels an inspiration to experience the freedom gained from knowledge extracted from previous experiences, then one is probably entering the 5th Internal Monad from a place of strong integration of the 4th Internal Monad. The 5th Internal Monad could be said to have a Positive Pole of RECREATION, and a Negative Pole of RESENTMENT. [Jon] What percentage of relationships is karmic (or in some way predetermined)? Does this mean that we are unable to choose whether to enter the relationship, or just that it is easier to enter (and harder to screw up)? [Michael Entity] Soul Age and Level play a great deal in the creation and burning of Karmic Ribbons related to relationships. The Older the soul, the less likely one is creating Karmic relationships, and the more likely one has burned most Karmic relationship ribbons. That being said, NO relationship is ever "predetermined." To engage in the creation of a Karmic relationship is more obviously a result of choice, but the entering into a relationship wrought with already-created Karma is also a result of choice. Karma is compelling because it is the "Food" of the soul. Much is gained from the creation and balance of Karma, not only on a personal level, but on a level that benefits all fragments and universes. So it takes very little to fall into a Karmic relationship for the sake of balance because inherent in all sentience is a default of balance and imbalance as a means of evolving. Personalities may beg to differ as to the benefit of Karma. Often the Personalities involved may stand in the way of balancing Karma and Essence will NEVER push a personality into a situation that is against a Personality's wishes. However, there are clever and enticing elements to Karma that are just as attractive to Personality as they are to Essence, but for different reasons: For the most part, the more "passionate" and "powerful" a relationship is in the beginning, the more Karma involved. The more addictive a person is to another person, the more Karmic that relationship already is. In fact, most of what has passed as "love" is merely Karmic compulsion. Your culture promotes this angle on relationships to the point of actually missing out on non-karmic relationships because those are actually "boring" by comparison. A Non-Karmic relationship may be "boring" by certain standards, but they are JUST as valuable and meaningful to Essence and Personality, especially to the Older Soul who now finds kindness, patience, honesty, intimacy, etc. which encourages a more internal challenge (or friction), to be more appealing than the more external friction of drama and intensity. NO relationship is of interest if it does not include FRICTION, however. What kind of Friction (internal and/or external) and the extent to which both parties are mutually inclined to deal with that Friction is the kind of relationship that will be created, and the extent to which a relationship will be healthy, fulfilling, long-term, etc. In short, with or without Karma, the choice is still yours. [Jon] Thank You, that is most enlightening. Yes... though I am still not sure what a "ribbon" is [Michael Entity] A "ribbon" is our term for the energetic bond that links one fragment to another after an imbalance has been created between the two of you. This "ribbon" is part of how and why each of you “finds” each other again through time and space. The "ribbon" is unbreakable without the mutual balance of the Karma. [Meredith k] I am having trouble getting along with younger souls, mostly around the area of projections, as I see it. I experience younger souls as blaming outer circumstances. I get so defensive. How not to take this so personally and be so upset? Often, in my "karmic relationship" If the "I" language is too personal, then, how to find peace with younger/different souls? [Michael Entity] One method of relating to Younger Souls is to actually embody and use the perception that you wish to impose on those Younger Souls. In that embodiment, there is an ironic freedom and adaptability that will be developed. In other words, you are doing to the Younger Souls what you are so annoyed with in them: Blaming. They merely challenge your personal truths that you have not quite accepted. This is why you find yourself defensive. Their words are merely your own internal voices being offered back to you. When you hear them, you feel anger because those are the same voices you struggle against within your own philosophies. It could be said, then, that your ability to soften your judgments against those who conflict with your truths will be the strength gained for softening your judgments against yourself for feeling victimized when you DID and DO feel victimized. You have taken a long and painful road from a constant sense of violation and victimization to a place of fragile strength and self-love, so these challenges to your developing truths are only a means through which you can gain a solid strength, rather than a fragile strength. There is a certain sense of satisfaction gained in your exchanges with those who challenge you. It helps to encourage your integration of changing personal truths, especially as others may reject those truths. This personal acceptance of your truths alongside the conflicting truths of others is the crux of your challenges, in general, for this life. It is not through others accepting your truths that you will find wholeness, but through your simply living them, yourself. [Meredith k] How can there be less friction/pain in this? [Michael Entity] Friction cannot be avoided. It is at the core of every evolving thing. However, the "pain" is merely a "red light" to alert you to your resistance. Pain is always a result of resistance in some form. Furthermore, Emotional Pain is always a result of INTERPRETATION alongside resistance. Emotional Pain is a result of resistance to the changing meaning that one has come to associate with certain symbols in life. When Emotional Pain is involved, it is an opportunity for bringing consciousness to the shifting structures of meaning within one’s Being. Rather than experiencing this shift as a form of healthy growth, Personalities get attached to one meaning, resisting the shift, and interpreting the experience as loss. In the end, it is not what happens TO you that matters as much as what you do with what happens to you, however much time, patience, and kindness that process may take.
