  1. Michael Speaks Live The Nine Karmic Sequences October 27, 2013 Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] We will discuss the subject of The Nine Karmic Sequences today. [MEntity] As is often the case with our sharing insight or information, we will, first, clarify some terms and context. [MEntity] First, we will expand upon the term "Karma." This is a term we use to describe imbalance and intensity, often as a product of the interference of choice. [MEntity] While Karma is imbalance and intensity, it is also the striving for a return to balance. [MEntity] Ribbons and Karma are not the same things. This is why we use the phrase "Karmic Ribbons." Not all Karma has Ribbons, and though we have rarely spoken to this, not all Ribbons are Karmic. [MEntity] Anything "Karmic," then, is speaking to the imbalance and intensity that strives for a return to balance. [MEntity] These kinds of clarifications are not often necessary because we speak in fairly broad terms about Karma and Ribbons as they apply to the contexts that most of our students ask about, such as the arc of lifetimes and the process of returning to Tao. [MEntity] The significance of NINE is part of the consistency of what sets of factors or elements do for the fragment evolving. [MEntity] For example: 3 is a persistent state of imbalance that propels a fragment forward through Positive, Negative, and Neutral. 7 is the use of 3 as a form of evolution through Positive, Negative, and Neutral in Exalted and Ordinal States that are then integrated and build into the misnomer of "octaves." [MEntity] Octaves are actually repeating groups of 7. [MEntity] 9 is a set of factors that are about one's independent self-development, such as the 9 Needs, 9 Karmic Sequences, 9 Pillars. [MEntity] This must be, can be, and will be fulfilled by the individual, regardless of any relationship or circumstance, and often do not require many resources to do so. [MEntity] 12 is about one's more dependent, or more interdependent self-development, such as the 12 Support Circle Positions. [MEntity] We can explore all of these variations in another session, but for help in understanding why there are 9 Karmic Sequences, it is because these Sequences are not dependent, and are propelled only by the effort, or momentum, of the individual fragment. [MEntity] Karmic Ribbons often contribute to one of the Karmic Sequences, but not always. [MEntity] When we say "often" here, we mean nearly every Karmic Ribbon. [MEntity] But because not all contribute to these Sequences, we must state that not all Ribbons are part of these themes. [MEntity] In earlier lifetimes, Karmic Sequences are nearly synonymous with Karmic Ribbons. [MEntity] The process of stumbling into, creating, or imposing Karmic Ribbons, experiencing them, burning the Ribbons, and bring[ing] closure, however many lifetimes this takes, is in some way contributing to one of these Nine "stories" that are quite irresistible to every fragment. [MEntity] In fact, for some of our students, the use of the phrase "The Nine Stories" may be more appealing. [MEntity] As the Soul ages, these Karmic Sequences shift from a more literal and external dynamic to becoming more symbolic and internal, with Self-Karma contributing the the stories. [MEntity] In any given lifetime, at any point in your life, you are actively within some stage of at least one Sequence, and often in, at least, 3. Your Essence is always at some point in the stages of ALL of the Sequences, even if not actively exploring them within a particular lifetime. [MEntity] For some, a Sequence can take the entire cycle of incarnations to complete just once. For some, all of the Sequences have repeated over and over in variation throughout the cycle of lifetimes. THE SEVEN STAGES [MEntity] The Stages for each of the 9 Sequences are the same. We will share these, then, before elaborating upon the individual Sequences. [MEntity] STAGE ONE: OPPOSITION with a Negative Pole of Insularity and a Positive Pole of Inquisitive [MEntity] STAGE TWO: DECONSTRUCTION with a Negative Pole of Rebellion and a Positive Pole of Endurance. [MEntity] STAGE THREE: RESISTANCE/PAIN with a Negative Pole of Imbalance and a Positive Pole of Orientation. [MEntity] STAGE FOUR: COMPLIANCE with a Negative Pole of Somnambulist and a Positive Pole of Awakened [MEntity] STAGE FIVE: EXPERIMENTATION with a Negative Pole of Fragility and a Positive Pole of Solutions. [MEntity] STAGE SIX: COMPREHENSION with a Negative Pole of Defensiveness and Positive Pole of Adaptivity. [MEntity] STAGE SEVEN: RELEASE with a Negative Pole of Liberation and a Positive Pole of Wholeness. [MEntity] Regardless of whether Ribbons are involved, or not, each of you are somewhere at one or more of these Stages in relation to one or more Sequences, or Stories in your life. THE NINE KARMIC STORIES/SEQUENCES [MEntity] The Nine Karmic Sequences, or the Nine Stories of Your Life are as follows, with a brief synopsis for each, before we open the floor to questions. [MEntity] THE TEACHER STORY/SEQUENCE - The Sequence moves from being an Insular Student to being a Teacher of Wholeness. This is not always obvious or literal, and the Sequence of Study can be anything. Many of our Students are in this Sequence at some Stage. [MEntity] Keep in mind that "teacher" here can be a life of example, embodying the values learned across this Sequence. [MEntity] THE HEALER STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Sickness/Illness to Holistic Health. This can be for any of your bodies, such as the Emotional, Intellectual, etc. [MEntity] THE ENLIGHTENMENT STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Darkness/Myopia to Whole Confidence/Perspective. [MEntity] THE CREATIVITY STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Despair to Emanation of Wholeness. [MEntity] THE DSISEMINATOR STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Hoarding to Whole Communication. [MEntity] THE GUARDIAN STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Destroyer to Wholeness of Sanctuary/Home. [MEntity] THE INTEGRATOR STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Bigot to Acceptance of the Whole, or Wholeness. [MEntity] THE RESPONSIBILITY STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Sociopath to Equality of Wholeness. [MEntity] THE LEADERSHIP STORY/SEQUENCE - This Sequence moves from Insular Poverty to Whole Prosperity. [MEntity] These, then, are the Nine Stories/Sequences in extremely short description. Each will have the 7 Stages described earlier, and most of you will recognize these Stories in your life to some degree, or in the lives of those around you. PURPOSE OF KNOWING ONE'S STORY [MEntity] The point for knowing these Stories is that this understanding is yet another way to free you from the distractions and hangups of being Human, being incarnated. What often looks as if your life is not being lived, or is a distraction, or is a detour, is EXACTLY a part of your story, your journey, and your navigation of your story is what writes the story. Your stories are utterly unique, regardless of the universal themes. [MEntity] However utterly unique your story, you are surrounded by these stories, as well, and are not alone in yours. [MEntity] These are stories that cannot and will not be "escaped," but that you grow to love to tell through your life, and that you learn to appreciate in the lives of others, however dramatic, however inconvenient, however difficult and rewarding. They are of the many things that we do together as Sentience. [MEntity] Understanding where someone may be in his or her story frees you from presuming he or she should be at the same chapter as your own. It also helps you to understand why others may be able to manage their stories differently from you. You cannot compare your stories. You can only share them. [MEntity] The expansion of description for each of the Sequences is important, but we can do this over time. For now, this introduction can help you to begin exploring the concept and seeing how it might apply to your life. [MEntity] There is no effect from this knowledge but a sense of peace. There are no tricks, tips, methods for alleviating or avoiding or accelerating. This knowledge of your Story, your Sequence, can help bring you peace so that the writing of your story can be moved into brilliance, enthusiasm, interest, instead of exhaustion, confusion, and daunting. Questions and Answers [MEntity] We will open the floor now to your questions about this topic: QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [Maureen] Michael – Do we have all Nine Stories or Sequences going on in our lives, all at the same time, with differing levels of completion or do we pick and choose? [MEntity] Here is an example of how these might show up in a lifetime: [MEntity] ALL Sequences/Stories are in effect in some way, but some are Active, some are Passive, and some are Inactive. [MEntity] A fragment may have 3 Active Sequences in the current lifetime, which would mean these stories are clear, obvious, and fairly easy to identify. He has 3 Passive Sequences in the current life, which means that they are not at the forefront of the life, but might cycle up and down in emphasis over the life, or only come to be noticeable in certain circumstances. He might the have 3 Inactive Sequences, which are those Sequences just completed, (which can be within the current life, or from the previous life), and have not begun a new cycle. [MEntity] So Active, Passive, and Inactive, but always cycling in some way. [MEntity] Does this respond to your question? [Maureen] yes it is [Maureen] Thanks [Janet] I don't quite see the connection between the Leadership story and poverty/prosperity. [MEntity] The phrase "MASTERY STORY" might be more resonant here. It is a Sequence that moves from abject failure to complete fulfillment, in any level of pursuit. [Janet] That helps. Thank you. [MEntity] The "Leadership" term comes from the fact that the story begins in pursuit of self-fulfillment, but ends in a broader state that benefits far beyond the self. [MEntity] No Mastery, no Leadership, can be ultimately fulfilled in any insular, self-absorbed, self-serving way. [MEntity] We chose the term Prosperity because this is inclusive of fulfillment on a multitude of levels that can be shared. [MEntity] Does this make sense? [Janet] Absolutely [Brian_W] Is there any preference in terms of soul ages or roles towards some stories / sequences vs others. Ie, leadership is preferred by kings, creativity preferred by artisans, healer preferred by server, disseminator preferred by sages, teacher preferred by priests? [MEntity] Yes. This is, actually, one of the main points for these Sequences. Every Role will have its inherent inclination toward a Story, and all of that Role will contribute to that Story, but rather than a Role being limited to its inherent inclinations, and to how life is experienced AS that Role, these Stories allow all Roles to experience the Stories of every Role. [Brian_W] Much like archetypes? [MEntity] So the most-grounded and solid of Kings with no Artisan influences of any sort from any angle can STILL experience the Artisan Story/Sequences. It will be his own version of such, but that is the way of all experiences anyway. [MEntity] Though the spectrum of factors of design, and the myriad of influences within a lifetime would seem to be extremely broad enough, these Stories ensure that no fragment is left without the option for experience as related to any other Role. [MEntity] This is vital for eventual reunion. Mathematical resonance is the magnetic draw for reunion, but this is not enough for True Reunion/Oneness. We must, as fragments, as Entities, as Cadres, have developed an empathy that becomes the key for our return to Tao. [MEntity] Mathematical resonance is the magnetism, but Agape, empathy, is the embrace. [Maureen] Would our choice of Overleaves, Astrological choices, etc. help us along with our stories as well? [MEntity] Maureen, yes, everything is a part of your Stories. [MEntity] Where you are in the cycle of Sequence contributes to how the life is planned, and what you do with that life is what contributes to the cycle of the Sequence. [GeraldineB] Is mathematical resonance or magnetism the basis of Magnetic "kingdoms"? [MEntity] Only insofar as the fragment who is Magnetic is at the 6th Level, but otherwise, no, those Kingdoms are evolved over time through experience and choice. [GeraldineB] Is a Magnetic "kingdom" the same story for all participants? [MEntity] Yes. The draw to be a part of a Kingdom is in great part because of the sharing of a Sequence or Sequences. [MEntity] For example, those in the Ram Dass Kingdom share the primary Enlightenment Sequence. This is not to say each are contributing to one another's Story, since most will not interact, but that there is resonance because of the individual stories that foster an empathy. [Maureen] What is the Sequence we share with Troy? [GeraldineB] Teaching I would think [MEntity] We will now ask a couple of questions for each of you. [MEntity] DID YOU FIND AT LEAST ONE OF YOUR STORIES/SEQUENCES AMONG THE NINE SEQUENCES? AND CAN YOU SENSE WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR STAGE OF THE STORY? [Brian_W] I'm guessing teaching, guardian, and responsibility, but unsure on the stage of each [Brian_W] they keep moving around [DianeHB] I see teacher and healer for me, at minimum [GeraldineB] Yes, I know that I'm definitely in at least the Integrator Sequence due to my Configuration, and am probably in the Comprehension Stage [tkmppi] enlightenment/comprehension [Janet] I am leaning toward teacher, enlightenment and leadership. [Dave_92] i saw several. it's confusing. [Maureen] I can see mine - somewhat [Connor] Creativity, I would think. [Mstudent_41] teacher is the only one I am sure of. [Dave_92] it just seems like life to me. beginning something and working through it. [Janet] Possibly experimentation stage for teacher and leadership, comprehension for enlightenment. But these are wild guesses. [MEntity] Now that we have shared an introduction, and you can explore more with the concept, we can expand upon this concept in further exchanges that may help with further assessments.   2. OMW - Oct 18, 2014 - You and Your Realities Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. MEntity: We will discuss with you the concept of "reality" and what this means to you, personally. MEntity: In the broadest sense of the term, "reality" is a term that describes one's experience. Much of what happens, when it happens, etc. is of little relevance to what you think, feel, and do with what happens and when. MEntity: We have spoken with some length about the 9 Realities and how these are navigated and shared. We will not revisit that material as an overview, except where relevant. But we can suggest that a personal review of that material would help to add some depth to what we discuss today. (Note: The transcript for "9 Realities" can be found here.) MEntity: When we shared that information, we shared it more as a map than as something specific to an individual. Today we will work with each of you to get a better sense of your personal reality and what it means to have that personal reality. MEntity: As our first relevant reference to the original material, we will say that each of you exist within and as a Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual Reality. MEntity: While incarnating, the most persistently-shared of Realities is the Physical. MEntity: If you are sharing the same space, you are sharing the same Physical Reality. No one is NOT sharing in the same Physical Reality if you can see that person, hear him or her, or have other sensory input from that individual. MEntity: Spiritual Reality is the synthesis of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Realities. MEntity: If you exist, you share in a Spiritual Reality with everyone else who exists. MEntity: So this densest of Realities and least-dense of Realities are in many ways a Yin/Yang in the universe, or "two sides of the same coin." MEntity: At your densest, you share reality with everyone. At your least-dense, you share reality with everyone. MEntity: No matter how much you wish not to share the Physical Plane with some of your fellow Humans, you do, and you must contend with them. MEntity: No matter how much you may wish not to be evolving toward the same direction alongside those sharing in Sentience, you are intrinsically a part of that collective, and you must contend with that. MEntity: However, your Emotional and Intellectual Realities are of the most personal, unique, and differentiated of "spaces" that you own as individual fragments. MEntity: And so by "Personal Reality" we refer to your Emotional and Intellectual Realities. MEntity: You can be in the same room with 200 other fragments and you cannot NOT share in that Physical Reality. But you can have the most unique, personal, and differentiated emotions and thoughts while in that shared space. MEntity: Your Emotional and Intellectual Realities shape most of what you collect as what you consider "experiences." What you feel and think about everything shapes its value to you. MEntity: Throughout most of life, and for most who are alive, imprinting teaches that an individual is at the mercy of his or her feelings and thoughts. "I was just raised this way." or "That's how I was taught." or "You can't change how you feel." etc. MEntity: Most imprinting within cultures come from Young and Baby Soul mindsets that tell you that you are not in control of your emotions and thoughts, because as long as you do not have control over your own emotions and thoughts, you are much easier to control. MEntity: This is far from the truth, of course, and each of you are completely in control of your emotions and intellect. MEntity: Or, at least, have the capacity to control these. MEntity: Much of what has been described as "creating one's reality" is based on this truth. MEntity: You always have a choice in how you feel and think. MEntity: Even when there are chemical imbalances and disorders, there is choice. MEntity: In much the same way that a legless man can eventually run a race, or wheel a race, or play basketball, or create art, etc. so can those with chemical imbalances and disorders work to expand on possibilities. MEntity: Physical obstacles are valid, and they do have effect, and they do change the degree of difficulty for the individual, but there are degrees of obstacles and successes and inherent strengths in nearly every aspect of life. MEntity: But your Personal Reality is shaped by how you think and feel about everything, including how you think and feel about how you think and feel. MEntity: Choice is key here. Choice is either active or passive. You either create reality or allow it. MEntity: Both are valid forms of choice. MEntity: For instance, when you may wish to "put on a brave face" if you are starting a new job and need to focus on your skills and contributions. This may not remove your anxiety, but it helps, and your choice makes a difference. This is an active/creative choice. But if you are hit by a loss or upsetting news, you may feel sad and fall into grief. You may let yourself do this, and this is healthy. MEntity: This would be an example of a more passive/allowance. You know you must process something, and you allow for that process. MEntity: Because most of you were imprinted with the idea that you are controlled by your emotions and thoughts, or at least that you cannot legitimately change or transform these in an instant, you develop what we will refer to as "triggers." MEntity: How often one is triggered can be an indication for how asleep one is. However, this may not be an overall indication, but may be clear that one is asleep in one part of the life, and quite awake in another part of the life. MEntity: If you are triggered into reactionary states that are not specific to the necessity for survival, you are asleep to some extent. MEntity: So, in terms of your Personal Reality and your capacity to choose how you think and feel, you are, to some degree either more asleep or more awake in the life. MEntity: What we will share today is a way for you to see where you are in that range between being asleep and being awake. MEntity: This range is cyclical in its process, in that for say, the deepest of sleep has its deeper sleep and then its own version of waking up, before moving into the next range of wakefulness, which will have its own deeper sleep and waking up, and so on. These are no different from the Polarities we speak of in much of our teaching, and how those work. MEntity: The reason we are emphasizing your focus on the range between being asleep and being awake is because the more awake one is, the more one can choose one's emotions and thoughts in a way that creates reality to a higher level of fulfillment for you. MEntity: This range of sleep to waking is relative to Soul Age, so while this map can be applied to each Soul Age, an Infant Soul can be "totally awake," but within the context of that Soul Age, which means that a "totally awake" Old Soul will look very different. MEntity: Each of these states will be familiar to most of you, and will have been experienced in some form or another throughout the life. Each state will have its set of triggers so in considering your triggers, you can see not only which state of wakefulness you may be in, but how asleep you are within that state. MEntity: Within the format here, we will emphasize wording to be more relevant to the older soul, but if the subject is of interest for further elaboration, we may word things differently to describe the states for Infant, Baby, and Young. MEntity: We can do that in another exchange with you. 7 Points of Sleeping/Waking MEntity: We will use a bit of geometry to help describe these 7 States of Sleeping/Waking. MEntity: Imagine the most asleep one can be as represented by a POINT. MEntity: We will build from there. MEntity: As a single point of consciousness, the sleep is defined by self-preservation. MEntity: The triggers usually dealt with here are all about THREATS. MEntity: Whether real or imagined, Threats will trigger the person who is experiencing himself or herself as a single point of consciousness. MEntity: The reactions will be all about self-preservation. MEntity: This person will not wake up until he or she feels safe, or that he or she will SURVIVE. MEntity: Keep in mind that no matter how awake a person is, he or she can be knocked into a sleep of self-preservation as a means of aiming for survival against threat. This can come when there is a terminal illness or an environmental catastrophe or car accident, etc. MEntity: You are reduced to a point of consciousness that only seeks to survive. MEntity: So as we speak to you of these states and triggers, keep in mind that you will never be sustaining wakefulness in only one state. You will move about the map of wakefulness and sleep. But understanding this map can help you to make more conscious choices toward wakefulness. MEntity: So the person who has been reduced to a point of consciousness can help himself or herself toward wakefulness by either choosing to trust, or creating a sense of safety and comfort. MEntity: This person's personal reality can shift from feeling and thinking that experiences are only threats, to thinking and feeling that the experiences can be of use in some future. MEntity: And this moves the state into what we will refer to as a LINEAR STATE. MEntity: The Linear State is self-conscious. MEntity: This state is all about how one is contributing, what one is contributing, and the value that one is to life. MEntity: Triggers for this state are time and the future. MEntity: Fragments in this state shape their personal reality by aiming for the future and being sensitive to how time is used. MEntity: The more one is triggered by the passing of time and worry for the future, the more likely one is asleep here. MEntity: The more one consciously creates meaning from the moment, the more one creates a future to one's liking. MEntity: The more one creates meaning in the moment, the more one moves toward the next state of wakefulness, which is all about having. MEntity: We will refer to this third state as a TRIANGULAR STATE. MEntity: The Triangular State is one of self-permission. MEntity: This state is all about the self-permission to pursue goals, to aim higher, to have what one desires, to allow pleasure, to have fun, etc. MEntity: Triggers for this state are anything competitive, anyone interfering or imposing restrictions, or even shaming or guilting one for his or her ambitions. MEntity: Or lack thereof. MEntity: The person who is asleep here tends to be pushy, provocative, deceitful, opportunistic, etc. MEntity: As the person awakes here, there is a sense of choice in the matter of how one feels and thinks as one pursues desires. Having is not about taking, but about sharing, and this helps to move that person into the next state of wakefulness. MEntity: This state is the first state that begins to consider one's part in a collective consciousness. MEntity: This state would be the SQUARE STATE. MEntity: This Square State is a state of collective harmony. MEntity: This is a state that aims for stabilization, solutions, problem-solving, and networking. MEntity: Triggers for this state are anything chaotic, out of order, discordant, challenging to the senses. MEntity: The more asleep one is here, the more one wishes to ignore differences, impose political correctness, ignore "the news," ignore politics, remove oneself from conflict or debate, etc. MEntity: The more one is asleep here, the more one wishes to presume that everyone should just get along at all cost, and to ensure a false stability. MEntity: As one awakens here, one begins to cherish differences and to celebrate those, enjoying debate as a means of gaining knowledge and insight. The Personality Reality is experienced as expanding because of these differences, even if wrought from conflict or debate, which leads to the next state of wakefulness. MEntity: We will refer to this next state as a CONICAL STATE. MEntity: The conical state is an emphasis on Collective Awareness. MEntity: Or being aware of each other, not just in terms of differences, but in terms of those differences being vital tools for teaching and learning. MEntity: Differences are then owned and shared freely as a means of invitation, teaching, and sharing. MEntity: Triggers for this state are any forms of inconsideration or dismissal of boundaries. MEntity: Many of our students sustain wakefulness in the square and conical states, with their personal realities entirely shaped by how differences are experienced, both in terms of triggers and the aim for more conscious choice in the matters. MEntity: The more one consciously owns his or her differences and allows these to be models of invitation for others to learn from, and embraces the differences of others as invitations to learn, even if these come in the form of "stupidity," inconsideration, or crossing of boundaries, it is the learning that will matter here, and this will help one to move into the next state. MEntity: This next state is what we will describe as a SPIRAL STATE. MEntity: This state is all about collective evolution. MEntity: This state recognizes that we are all in this together, and that all parts contribute to the whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Every element of reality, whether your own or of others, is contributing to the trajectory of evolution, however meandering, slow, or accelerated. MEntity: Triggers for this state are indifference and resignation. MEntity: If one is asleep here, then apathy, indifference, and resignation can "set this person off" in an instant, hating humanity and humans for not participating collectively and actively toward a common evolution. MEntity: A large group of our students sustain wakefulness here to a great degree. MEntity: The more one wakes up here, the more one begins to see all realities as contributing to the evolution of humanity, and that one reality is not better than another, just different. It is not indifference to recognize this. This can be difficult to sustain in wakefulness because it feels like permission and condoning for fragments to be ever asleep. MEntity: But the more one can practice this allowance for differences, not just in culture, race, religions, sexualities, or other tangibilities, but in terms of perception, beliefs, feelings, thoughts, ideas, insights, etc., then the more one begins to wake up into the final state: MEntity: The SPHERICAL STATE. MEntity: We will refer to this as a "final" state because if one can sustain any wakefulness here, it is inherently inclusive of all other states. It has no sleep. It is utterly awake. It is at peace. It is wholeness. It is no longer triggered. MEntity: We have very few students who can sustain this state. GeraldineB: A coma would seem to help for that state MEntity: Some who are asleep in the Square State may think he or she is here, but is often simply denying or avoiding chaos and conflicts as a means to pretend to be awake. MEntity: Geraldine, your humor is not lost on us. MEntity: So before we conclude today, we will pose these questions to each of you: MEntity: ONE) on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being completely lacking control, how much choice do you feel you have in your range of emotions and thoughts? MEntity: TWO) in which state do you feel you are most awake, and in which state do you feel you are most triggered? Are they the same? MEntity: You do not have to answer here, but can think about this and answer where this transcript will post. MEntity: For all of you here, we can offer up to each of you that you are not without triggers, you are not fully awake, nor are you utterly asleep. Janet: Are the answers to TWO likely to be states that are next to each other on the scale you provided? Or not necessariy? MEntity: It is important to note that the aim is not for you to wake up, but that waking up is a natural process that occurs the more one owns responsibility for personal reality. MEntity: Janet, not necessarily, but often. MEntity: There may be elements of the life where one state is dominant, while the rest of the life is at a different state overall. Janet: I see that certainly. Thank you. GeraldineB: I see a lot of parallels between FEAR and Sleeping/Waking -- is this another way of describing how fear functions? MEntity: Oh, of course. When fear is utilized as information, sleep is not necessarily in effect, but if fear is reactionary and habitual, sleep is synonymous here. GeraldineB: I suppose I "should" have tied it to the triggers MEntity: Yes. MEntity: Triggers described here are directly related to fears. MEntity: But, again, if used as information for how one can make a more wakeful choice, then it can immediately transmutate. MEntity: To conclude for today, we will say that each of you are a walking set of realities from the most-shared to the most exclusive. Your most-exclusive realities are your personal reality, and you have full control over these, based on your willingness to make choices both passively and actively, creatively or with allowance. The more you recognize your triggers and associate these to a state of wakefulness, the more easily you can shift your personal reality into a state of fulfillment over a state of defense. Bobby: So you're not going to tell us who of your students has reached the sphere state then, right? I had to ask ;-) MEntity: We may no longer share in your Physical Reality, but we will always share in your Spiritual Reality, and this how our friendships with you can continue. GeraldineB: Probably someone in China we've never heard of -- they do have non-American students MEntity: Regardless of our apparent distance, we are your friends. Bobby: We get by with a little help from our friends Janet: :-) MEntity: For those who have reached a Spherical State, it cannot be sustained. It is experienced for stretches of time, but like Love, allows for a full range of experience. Each of you here have reached this at one point in your life, and many of our students have, but very few can sustain it. Those who do so can sustain it for one day to maybe a week before fluctuating. The key effect of this state is that when one falls back into another state, that state is not seen as conclusive or that one is trapped there. One now knows there is more, and allows the current state to be fully alive. That is the nature of the sleeping/waking cycle. None of you can stay awake for long in any literal sense without harming the self, and this is true in a more metaphysical sense, as well.   3. OMW - Mar 15, 2014 - The Nine Needs Channel: Troy Tolley Previously Posted Article on The Nine Needs [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin discussion with you regarding the chosen topic. [MEntity] One of the reasons the Nine Needs is a fairly important dynamic to understand about yourself, others, and any community or civilization, is that these Nine Needs WILL be fulfilled, in some way, some how, even if destructively. [MEntity] The more conscious one is of these Nine Needs, the more one can direct oneself to more constructive ways of fulfilling those Needs. [MEntity] Needs are a dynamic specific to being incarnated, and having a Personality and Body. These Needs become distracting motivating factors within a lifetime, if not addressed. [MEntity] These Needs will trump all other motivations, if neglected or rejected, and while they may not be obvious, you are always seeking for these to be fulfilled. [MEntity] You are the only one who can fulfill your own Needs, but as you form in groups of 2 fragments or more, there comes a new layer of Needs that are about group fulfillment, and how that group's Needs are fulfilled. [MEntity] And in the same way that these Needs will be fulfilled, even if destructively, on an individual level, so it is also true in groups. [MEntity] There are 7 "degrees" or levels of means for fulfilling a Need. Levels 1-3 are unconscious means for fulfillment. Level 4 is a subconscious neans for fulfillment. And Levels 5-7 are conscious. [MEntity] When fulfillment is done unconsciously, it will tend to mean that this is either a neglected or rejected Need. When fulfillment is done subconsciously, it will tend to mean that this Need is not a priority, but is not a distraction, either. When fulfillment is conscious, it simply means that this Need is fulfilled AS NEEDED, but is not necessary for constant struggle for fulfillment due to rejection or neglect. [MEntity] In other words, the more one rejects of neglects a Need, the more pervasive and constant that Need. [MEntity] When we have spoken to our students about these Needs, we have pointed to a heirarchy of tiers that describe a set of 3 Primary, 3 Secondary, and 3 Tertiary Needs. That heirarchy tends to be based on a heirarchy of assessment based in priorities. [MEntity] In other words, if someone feels he or she has a strong Need for Freedom, then that would be a Primary Need. [MEntity] For Needs that are not such a priority, they would drop to a lower tier. [MEntity] This is just one way of assessing one's Needs. [MEntity] By order of priority, which can fluctuate depending upon circumstances and agenda. [MEntity] What we will suggest to each of you today is to assess your Needs, not based in tiers of priority, but in order from most unconscious to most conscious. [MEntity] This may be similar to your orders of priority, but may not. [MEntity] Keep in mind that the more unconsciously fulfilled a Need, the more obvious and tangible it can tend to be, and often in more destructive or distracting ways. [MEntity] For example, many fulfill Expansion through physical tumors and cancer. This is a literal symptom, and is not random. If Expansion is rejected or neglected, this is one of the most direct effects. [MEntity] This symptom can also be symbolic, but having just as destructive an effect. For example, gangs in neighborhoods can become a kind of cancer and tumorous growth for a community that has not provided adequate means for teens and families to grow. [MEntity] For your convenience, we will post the basic spectrum for each Need now. [MEntity] SECURITY: +Trust/-Fear [MEntity] 7 Degrees of Security: "security found in" 1. Blind Faith; 2. False Hope; 3. Tradition; 4. Theories; 5. Reliable Sources; 6. Experience and Intuition; 7. Tao (or, full allowance of your magnetic, gravitational, and confident path of impulses) [MEntity] ADVENTURE: +Presence/-Drama [MEntity] 7 Degrees of Adventure: "adventure found in" 1. [MEntity] What we suggest for each of you to do, then, is to look as honestly as you can at these Needs, and list them from the most unconscious to the most conscious in terms of how you see these are fulfilled in your life. [MEntity] You do not have to do this here. Take your time and look at these over the next few weeks for a full and accurate assessment. However, at this time, if you feel inclined, we invite you to share any concerns or questions that might help your assessments. [MEntity] QUESTIONS [GeraldineB] When are Needs "chosen" and are they changeable over a lifetime in terms of importance? [MEntity] Needs are built into every lifetime and Personality. These are built in as a way to draw fragments toward experiences and relationships. Needs are a form of inherent magnetism that is essential to the whole experience of what is considered to be "life." [MEntity] The complete set of Nine Needs is a defining factor of Sentience, and the more complex an organism, creature, or species, the more of these Needs are in place. However, for non-sentient Species, it is rare that all Nine are in place. [MEntity] So your Needs are ALWAYS active. However, their place in terms of priority or consciousness does fluctuate over a lifetime, depending upon the Personality and its experiences. [MEntity] Needs are not "chosen," then, by the Personality. [GeraldineB] OK -- I understand [ClaireC] I'm having a lot of trouble assessing my most "unconscious" needs. Are they unconscious because they are being fulfilled, or because they are not being fulfilled? [MEntity] The best way to assess the level of consciousness relative to a Need is to look at the symptoms described by the 7 degrees. If you note more familiarity with the lower 3, it is likely being fulfilled unconsciously. [MEntity] As we said: Needs are ALWAYS fulfilled. [MEntity] So it is merely a matter of fulfillment in terms of unconscious (reationary and destructive), subconscious (auto pilot, comfortable), or conscious (through active choice and sometimes challenging). [MEntity] Next, Maureen. [Maureen] I have my assessment finished. I think I should wait until we can share (what we have individually) as a group. [MEntity] Is that a question? [Maureen] No :) [Maureen] I'll pass [Janet] At the moment, I don't have any need listed below level 4 based on the symptoms you gave. Is this perhaps associated with having completed the 5th IM? Also, it seems that the needs I've listed at the lowest levels are those that I seem to be 'working' on lately, though I haven't noticed this until now. Is that how the needs bubble up for attention? [MEntity] Yes, and Yes. [Janet] Easy answer! Thanks! [MEntity] The more conscious one tends to be, the more one tends to manifest Essence and True Personality, and this means the more one will tend to fulfill Needs from the conscious tier. [MEntity] This is not always true, but often is true. [Maureen] I have a similar assessment too, Janet. I only have one at Level 4+. [MEntity] The pattern tends to be that the more one is fulfilling one's Needs consciously, the more one tends to be Manifesting Essence and True Personality. However, Manifesting Essence and True Personality is not a guarantee that one is fulfilling Needs consciously. That is because, for many, consciousness must come first, and then be applied to the Needs. [MEntity] This is why we think it of benefit to understand these Needs and how they function as a permanent factor in your life. These are not complicated or dependent upon anything but your effort and choice for fulfillment, and can be a rather rapid means of cascading consciousness to all parts of your life so that True Personality and Essence can Manifest. [MEntity] If you find that your Needs are being fulfilled from 4+, this does not mean they will not drop to below that point any longer. [Janet] Is level 7 fairly rare? [MEntity] However, the more one can sustain fulfillment at 5+, the less-likely one will succumb to any lower fulfillment for any length of time before returning to consciousness. [MEntity] Janet, not rare, but often not "as fun." Many hold off on the final degree because it is often a point of no return, stripping all lower levels of any excitement or submersion. [DianeHB] Why is that? [MEntity] For instance, if one were to sustain the 7th degree of Exchange, it is often simply not as fulfilling to Slander someone, or to tolerate Small Talk. [MEntity] Only the range between 5 and 7 remain of interest. [MEntity] That is not to say one cannot fall below that, but it is simply an empty experience or feels "wrong", "icky," or "gross." [MEntity] Does this make sense?   4. OMW - Aug 16, 2014 - You and Your Nine Trues Channel: Troy Tolley (Note: See end-of-session for "The 9 Trues" transcript from September 2008.) [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. [MEntity] Today we are asked to discuss you and your set of "Pillars," as they have come to be called. [MEntity] We have discussed these indepth in various ways that can be accessed for reference outside of this interaction, so we will focus as much on each of you as possible today. [MEntity] First, we will elaborate a bit on each area in a way that we think will add to what is already accessible. [MEntity] The Life Task for an individual is also referred to as True Work or Right Work. [MEntity] This is at the core of the concept of the 9 Pillars. [MEntity] Everything in your set of 9 Pillars is to support the Task. [MEntity] Because this is a concept that requires the Physical Plane, then Action is the hub of the concept. [MEntity] This means that, regardless of how broad or conceptual one's Task, it will require ACTION to fulfill. [MEntity] The point of a Life Task is so that the Personality has an aim for putting into action that which Essence has learned or is interested in learning. [MEntity] This is why the Life Task is not an obligation, and can be rejected. [MEntity] Whatever your Task may be, it is one of the very few specific details describing the idea that Essence had for the current lifetime. [MEntity] Your Overleaves are another area that helps point to the ideas of Essence. [MEntity] Regardless of any ideas Essence had for the lifetime, all of these can be altered, overridden, or rejected by Personality. [MEntity] To choose to fulfill the Task means choosing to be conscious. [MEntity] Choosing to be conscious is, at its very basic, a choice to take care of oneself, to nurture oneself. [MEntity] Though no Pillar is really more vital than any other, it could be said that most other Pillars will suffer if the Inspiration Pillars are not upheld as a priority. [MEntity] This means that your True Rest, Spirit, and Love, are of highest priority among the various Pillars. [MEntity] If you choose to fulfill your Task, you will REQUIRE those Pillars to be upheld. [MEntity] Your LIfe Task can be fulfilled in 3 areas of effect while in a lifetime. Not all areas will be of interest, it can still be important to consider the Inspirational Pillars of all areas. [MEntity] Your Life Task can be fulfilled on a Personal, Community, and/or Planetary area of effect. [MEntity] Depending on your choices, imprinting, passage through Internal Monads, etc. you will fulfill the Task in one, two, or three of these areas of effect. [MEntity] For maximum fulfillment, one MUST fulfill these in ways that build upon each area, or there can be painful consequences of effect in areas of neglect. [MEntity] For example, if one aims for fulfillment of the Task on a Planetary scale, but neglects the Personal scale, "the world" will have benefited from the Task, but the self may never fully grasp the effects of fulfillment. [MEntity] This happens in such cases as that of the fragment known as Robin Williams. [MEntity] This is not uncommon among those whose Personalities emphasize more and more public accessibility and effect. [MEntity] The more public the access, the more the individual can lose sight of the Task as it serves the self. [MEntity] In contrast, the more public one is while restricting fulfillment to the Personal area, the more that public would be more repelled. [MEntity] This can be the case for many politicians who are fulfilling their Task, but have no interest in fulfilling that on a Community or Planetary area of effect. It is only to serve the self. [MEntity] This is why understanding all areas of effect is beneficial because one cannot "go wrong" if each area is considered. [MEntity] So if your True Rest, Spirit, and Love are considered, the other Pillars often come more easily to the range of support for the Task. [MEntity] The suggestions that we give each of you for most of your Pillars are based on cumulative experiences of fulfillment pulled from your Instinctive Center. [MEntity] For instance, if we suggested that your Rest is to "people watch," then it is likely because several other Personalities have found this to be an inspirational, restful experience that has supported a Task of similar or themed nature to the current one. [MEntity] Your True Rest is something that "should" be implemented at least one hour a day. [MEntity] By "should" we mean that it is that important, but we put this in quotes because one does not want True Rest to become an obligation. [MEntity] When we suggest your True Rest, we are by no means giving you an exhaustive list, but are offering up ideas based on what can see as restful. Many of our students do not even realize just how restful some of the suggestions can be because they immediately reject the activity or behavior as not of interest, but that is why we suggest them. We suggest them because you may not have come up with these on your own, and experimenting with actually implementing these restful behaviors can be life changing. [MEntity] We will pause here for interaction and ask each of you what you think or feel about your True Rest suggestions, and share if you actually implement any of the suggestions. [Maureen] I know I have great difficulty with rest in general. [DianeHB] I'm wondering if I have other activities I do that fulfill my true rest. I think I only do reading consciously on a regular basis. Mine are: "floating; reading; running fingers through hair; closing eyes at random" [Bobby] I know I do get a great deal of enjoyment around Observing. Frequently, I like to go to a public place and just "watch" [ViP1] Mine are " learning something new; imagining possibilities; watching the sky/stars". [GeraldineB] The last set is the more inexplicable one to me as I have no idea how to implement - TRUE REST: true stillness and silence; listening to intricate sounds; witnessing/expressing compassion [ViP1] I find that learning something new is actually restful in the sense that it releases mental stress, but I'd like to do it more often. [ViP1] Imagining possibilities is also very enjoyable. [Bobby] My other 2 were Expanding Vividry which I can see doing especially while Observing and Walking. I could do more on the walking ;-) [ViP1] I'd like to be able to make time and relax for these more often. [MEntity] Diane, yes, of course there is True Rest outside of our suggestions. [MEntity] Geraldine, this can be done by noticing the kind things being done by others, or noticing when you do kind things, or when you are hit with empathy in a way that allows you to love another, care for him or her. However obvious or routine, these moments of compassion are all around you. [Maureen] Mine are True Rest: learning; listening to wind; storms. I know I don't do listening to the wind or storms enough. I thought I was OK with "learning" but now I am wondering if I'm actually understanding what "learning" is for me -- related to my True Rest. Also, as Diane, I was wondering if there might be even more accessible ways to gain True Rest. [MEntity] Maureen and Diane, the suggestions we offer have effects, and each should be fairly immediately or regularly accessible. Sometimes there are conditional elements necessary, such as an actual storm passing in the case of listening to a storm, or winds, but these happen enough to use them. [ViP1] Bobby's and Maureen's remind me of a couple other things I find restful or at least soothing and very renewing: 1. letting myself sink into the surroundings and hear and feel everything very clearly, with a very slowed-down sense of time passing (is this like vividry?); and 2. listening to wind and rain from indoors. Pretty close :-) (or just rain really, not the wind as much) [MEntity] Maureen, "Learning" as a form of rest is a process rather than a destination in this case. There are many days that you go to bed perplexed, agitated, frustrated, or even worried, and these are elements of Learning. You are in the process of growing, changing, evolving, trying to understand something, trying to make something work, etc. This is Learning. Taking great peace from within that process helps bring Rest to the patterns that eventually lead to what has been LEARNED. [Maureen] Thanks [MEntity] Diane, raking your hands through your hair as a means of massaging your scalp can be done at any point in your day, and the effects may be more beneficial than you may suspect. [MEntity] One of the best points of any day for implementing one's True Rest is an hour before one wishes to retire for the day. [DianeHB] Actually, I take back what I said. I do run my hands through my hair a lot without thinking about it. :) [MEntity] In your case, Geraldine, a way to bookend your days can be to peruse your feelings of closeness and kindness toward those people in your life, from strangers to acquantances to distant friends in Essence to even us. This does not mean you must be sentimental, but noting this "good" in your life can do wonders to keep your sense of Inspiration up and alive. [MEntity] Visaish, many suggestions of Rest can be universally beneficial because many of these are universally experienced as restful and stored instinctively in nearly everyone. [GeraldineB] sounds like a variation on a "gratitude list" [MEntity] Geraldine, a "gratitude list" may be a bit too "cheesy," but a quick smile to think kind thoughts about someone, or to embrace the idea that others may be thinking kind thoughts about you can be quite nurturing. [MEntity] Maureen, for more accessible ways to listen to wind, one can set up wind chimes, or in your modern age, download a windchime app that gently adds ambience to your space. [Maureen] Can one get inured to a True Rest? For example, leaving a CD on all the time with the sound that is restful. [Maureen] To the point where it isn't effective any more. [MEntity] Yes, which is why one would want to do these consciously and in rotation with other Rest. [MEntity] These suggestions are not magickal, so your participation is vital in the effects. This is why making a "gratitude" list is far less effective than a glance of awareness that makes you smile for a moment, for example. [MEntity] Or how Diane's running of the hand through the hair was missed. Habit is not the same thing as conscious. [MEntity] If nothing more is gained from our exchange today except that the use of Rest in a conscious and regular manner can help all other Pillars, each of you would/could drastically increase your sense of fulfillment of the Task. [MEntity] However, to see tangible fulfillment of the Task, it can be helpful to look to one's Goal. The Task is tied to Action, which is tied to one's Goal (regardless of the Axis of the Goal). [MEntity] There must be "real-world" examples of how one is fulfilling the Goal. If one is fulfilling the Goal, one is more than likely fulfilling the Task. [MEntity] By "real-world" we mean that you can see that you are aiming for that Goal. The Goal can never be completed or perfected, but is more like a state that comes to be more and more in effect. The "aiming" would not mean that the Goal is easy or that, for instance, you are already "Accepting," but that you clearly see that you work on Acceptance. [MEntity] When you aim for the Goal, the path for fulfillment of the Task tends to be cleared. [MEntity] Considering the limitation on time, we will now open the floor to your questions about your own Life Task and its Pillars. We can always elaborate further on the dynamics of the Life Task and its Pillars as a concept, but you may have questions that help shape that direction. [ViP1] You gave the following keywords as my planetary quadrate: [ViP1] True Love: Loyalty [ViP1] True Core: Fantasy/Day Dreaming [ViP1] True Gift: Adaptability [ViP1] Could you provide some insight on how these would support my Life Task of "To Embrace Friction"? [ViP1] I can see how Loyalty would be involved in "friction", at least at a surface level and it's important to me, and how Adaptability would help to do so, but less clear on Fantasy/Daydreaming. [MEntity] For most who are not going to be public on a planetary scale, this area of effect described as "planetary" must be considered on the scale of "your world." This would mean your experience of the world and all of those involved in it. [MEntity] So when it comes to the Pillars that support your Life Task in "your world," the way you demonstrate your very ideal of Love is through Loyalty. Loyalty is considered a potential for helping to inspire others and the self through the challenges of friction. The way you demonstrate your very core truth is through your Fantasy and Day Dreaming. You always aim for problem-solving, solutions, [MEntity] ways to work around and with scenarios of friction. Your Truth is that when this is implemented, friction can be made beneficial. So your Fantasy and Day Dreaming shows you a whole range of possibilities. [MEntity] The way you demonstrate your Courage/Gift/Beauty is through your Adaptability. This means that you help others to be strong by demonstrating how to roll with the punches, to lubricate the friction if it gets "too hot," and this is not an easy practice. It takes courage. And it is beautiful. [Bobby] One my True Plays has always given me a chuckle, Mocking Insecurities. It almost seems anti-anything you would condone :-) Would you briefly comment on that particular True Play and its relationship to the Life Task of True Security? [MEntity] Bobby, this Play is one that can help one not to take oneself too seriously, or to take too personally those who would wish to punish you for their own insecurities. If done with malice, it is not Playful, but seeing the comedy in the scenarios is quite helpful. This sets your Attitude back on track. [MEntity] We are not in any position to condone or not condone, but we are always up for a good laugh, and much of what is funny about life is the absurdly serious nature imposed upon the most inconsequential. [Bobby] I would agree with that [MEntity] We used the term "mocking" because that is what it often looks like while incarnated, but it is often just a matter of it being funny. Humor is generated from the resolution of paradox, and in this case the paradox is that something of little consequence is taken as profoundly consequential. [Bobby] Ok, so I can now see then not letting an upset knock me into Confusion that is more than likely how it relates [MEntity] That is a healthy way to use that Play, yes. [GeraldineB] My Life Task is "to draw soft conclusions" and my Goal is Discrimination -- I see a bridging between the two. I've become milder and milder in my discriminating, i.e., more flexible, also a willingness to see subtleties. I'm progressively less "black and white" or extremes of belief or reaction, and far more the myriad shades of gray between. I will accept any suggestions or advice on how I might improve my implementing of any of the Pillars. [MEntity] Geraldine, consider replacing your term "milder" with "more and more refined." You have moved toward refinement in your stances between YES and NO. In earlier days, YES or NO came from defenses or from familiarity. Now your YES's come with consideration, and your NO's come from clarity. The lack of defense has brought about the fulfillment of the Task. [GeraldineB] yes, that is definitely a better way of stating what has happened [MEntity] Your consideration at this point in your fulfillment of the Task is in how it applies to all areas of effect. You have secured good footing in the Personal area of effect, and to a great degree your Community, but now you seek to have this in effect on "your world." You may find that world events are far more inciting to you than may have been in the past, and this is because you now aim for the Task to be fulled in that area. [GeraldineB] inciting? [GeraldineB] but, yes, I'm getting agitated once again :) [GeraldineB] and am seeking more global understanding [MEntity] As in, they are more provocative. [GeraldineB] indeed [MEntity] To help you in keeping your spirits up, your enthusiasm, and your sense of value placed on the world, it can be helpful then to look at your True Love, Gift, and Core. [GeraldineB] thank you -- I only have the first 4 Trues [DianeHB] In the last few weeks I've been thinking about how I've done enough of my own growth that I'd like to do something with my life that has tangible beneficial effect on a larger scale. How could my planetary quadrate support that? I've gotten some elaboration on my planetary quadrate in my 9 Pillars Report, but not how they relate to the life task. [DianeHB] True Love: through creating and nurturing common grounds [DianeHB] True Core: through inspiring one individual at a time [DianeHB] True Gift: through overcoming paralysis of expression [MEntity] Diane, these are fairly self-explanatory in that if you aspire toward work that is for benefit of others on a larger scale, those key Pillars can help you to question if that path is in alignment with these important factors. However, do not confuse the Life Task with the work that you would wish to do as an income or as a career. These go hand-in-hand, of course, but are not the same things. [MEntity] In terms of the Life Task, True Work is often used interchangeably, and we rarely offer suggestions for True Work, since these tend to form most naturally of all of the various "Trues." We also do not offer suggestions because it is too easy to confuse work with True Work, which can be any activity, not just for income or career. [MEntity] But if one looks at the description of the Life Task and it can be applied to a position in caeer or as a job, then that career or job can often be quite fulfilling. [MEntity] In your case, the position as a mediator that generates common grounds for negotiations, communication, and expansion of that common ground can be found in many positions of work and career. [DianeHB] Yes [DianeHB] Except that paralysis of expression is a pain in the butt [MEntity] This is not limited to the obvious, either. [MEntity] Diane, that is why it is so beautiful. That is why it is your Gift and reflects your courage. When you implement that Pillar, it is often pivotal. [MEntity] In the context of your question, you would want to look at where you already feel the most comfortable because of experience in pivoting beyond that paralysis, or consider where you feel paralyzed in expression, and work on generating those moments where you overcome that so that it helps clear your path to your aspiration. We know this is a rather expansive topic, but the points shared today can help you begin to see your Pillars and Task in a more meaningful and useful light. [Maureen] Michael, I came into today’s session thinking that I rarely rest, based on my Trues. If I am actually utilizing my True Rest why don’t I feel more rested? [MEntity] Maureen, keep in mind that Rest here is in the context of Inspired. Your physical rest, though related, can have its own realm of challenges that interfere with it. [MEntity] Implementing your True Rest can help you to keep your spirits up, stay inspired, and sustain your self-care, even as you may not be sleeping well. [Maureen] I see. [MEntity] If the suggestions we have given for your True Rest do not seem to be working, and you have given them a nice try, we will look at other suggestions and share these with you then. ******* The 9 Trues September 14, 2008 Channel: Troy Tolley This article is the result of a personal question from a student in another part of this forum. FROM MICHAEL: The 9 Trues (or 9 Pillars) True Home is part of the 9 areas of life one can consciously manipulate through choice, creativity, and intent to help one to feel alive, in harmony, and fearless while Physical. In short, it is a way of helping the Personality to experience a sense of confidence, peace, and transformation. Many of you have heard "True Work (Life Task);" "True Play;" True Rest;" and "True Study." These are known as the 4 "Pillars of Vitality." They create a Quadrate. These were the most immediately applicable for most of our students once there is comprehension of the Overleaves. In fact, none of the "trues" are very practical if the Overleaves are not validated, accurate, and understood. True Work, or the Life Task, is the core of each Quadrate. This is because the Life Task is anchored to the Goal for the life in the Overleaves and its fulfillment pulls from all layers and dimensions of the Personality, Essence, and Life. The initial triad of Play, Rest, and Study is the first ring of support for the Life Task or Goal of the life, creating the most immediate Quadrate. True Work and Life Task can be used interchangeably, though some of our channels and students prefer differentiating the two. True Work is a listing of suggestions for how to fulfill the Life Task through action, but these suggestions often work against the idea of the Life Task because the list is taken literally and is often given as various occupations. All suggestions for any "True" are meant as just that, suggestions, and not as a limited list of assignments. All "Trues" are relative to the current Personality and its relationship with Essence, Others, and Life. "Trues" are not static, even within a lifetime. "Trues" are assessed as a collection of factors that include the history of Essence in other Bodies (past lives), the original intent of the Essence for the lifetime, and the current intent of the Personality. Considering all of these factors helps to generate a self-sustaining matrix through which both Essence and Personality can function and manifest within the Physical Plane. The first Quadrate of "Trues" is the Personal Quadrate, or Pillars of Vitality, and they are True Work, True Play, and True Rest, of course (adding the Life Task creates the Quadrate). If these are addressed, the Personality co-creates with Essence and feels alive, dynamic, and directed. The awareness and benefit is of the immediate well-being of self. While this Quadrate is of use at any point in the process of lifetimes, this Quadrate is usually of primary implementation and development during from Mid-Young Soul cycle through Mid-Mature Soul cycle. The second Quadrate of Trues is the Community Quadrate, or Pillars of Harmony. If these are addressed, the Personality and Essence co-create in a way that includes consideration of consequences, impact, and exchanged effects on the self as it exists within a body, environment, and community. These Trues are known as True Home, True Health, and True Spirit. While this Quadrate is of benefit to know at any point during the incarnational cycles, it is most often implemented and developed from Mid-Mature to Mid-Old Soul. True Home is any variable or element within the immediate environment outside of the Body that tends to create an exchange of harmony. True Home can be described as geographical locations or "zones," or in terms of elements such as general weather, temperature, types of nature, colors, etc. For the most part, True Home may tend to be a combination of two Zones. There are 7 Zones: "Ocean," "Desert," "Wilderness," "Jungle," "Plains," "Urban," and "Mountain." One does not have to relocate in order to implement the benefit of True Home. If one's True Home is in the "Desert Zone," for example, even if one is geographically located in an "Urban Zone," decorative elements can be used in the immediate environment to draw in the energy of the Desert Zone. In fact, the type of nature, colors, weather, and temperatures that can help to describe True Home could be said to all be extensions from one of the 7 Zones. Creating one's True Home can help one to feel in harmony with his immediate environment in a way that brings more of Essence and Personality into the community. True Health is a description using percentages of emphasis that one might consider for optimum physical health in terms of interaction with the environment. These percentages are suggested as divided among 7 categories that describe a physical body's "diet." These 7 categories are described by as Exercising, Feeding, Socializing, Sleeping, Schooling, Entertaining, Meditating. One's True Health may have more of an emphasis of percentage on Feeding, Sleeping, and Socializing as a means to support health, over someone else who might have higher percentages in Schooling, Entertaining, and Meditating. ALL categories are addressed in the daily life of a Personality, but being aware of what most immediately and effectively supports the overall health, one can sustain well-being and balance within the exchanges between the body and community. We can suggest percentages across all 7, but a more practical approach might be to simply be aware that ones True Health could be described as a combination of 2 or 3 categories of emphasis. True Spirit is one's medium within an environment for encouraging expression of Essence more fully. There are 7 media: Independently-Mobile Beings (e.g. animals), Dependently-Immobile Beings (e.g. plants), Ritual, Labor, Arts, Technology, and Communication. One's True Spirit is usually a combination of 2 or 3 media. There are 7 "zones," "diets," and "media" in the above because they are on the level of interaction with environment and community, and this lends itself to a sort of structuring that is unique to this Quadrate. The last Quadrate could be described as the Planetary Quadrate, or the Pillars of Transformation. If these are addressed, the Personality and Essence co-create in a way that contributes to the evolution of the self, the planet, and sentience. These are True Love, True Core, and True Gift. While these can be important at any point during a cycle of lives, it is during the Old Soul Age that these begin to feel vital to comprehend. True Love is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together to generate Agape from Personality and Essence into the world. True Core is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together for embedding one's Truth into the world. True Gift is a way to help one grasp those factors that come together for amplifying one's Courage into the world. When any of our students ask us about these 9 Trues, or 3 Quadrates/Pillar groups, our responses are always our interpretation and suggestion, but we encourage our students to validate and discover their own interpretations and suggestions. Each Quadrate or group of Pillars would do well to have more elaborate attention.
  5. Channel: Troy Tolley April 10, 2011 Michael Speaks: Nine Realities MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here. We will begin with the requested topic of "9 Realities." First we will define "reality" here as "realm or dimension of experience." The term "reality" is always used literally in terms of a dimension that is apparently separate from another, but these realities often overlap or exist one within another, and there is nothing static about them. Each of you, regardless of where you "exist" as you know reality, will exist 9 versions of that Reality, and so it might be more accurate to call these "dimensions;" you exist within 9 Dimensions of any given Reality, so to speak. However, your Primary Reality is usually dictated by which of these Dimensions your focus is present, at any given time, or within any given space. There are actually, technically, only 3 Realities, but each of these has 3 Dimensions, or angles, from which that Reality is experienced, and so it is fair to describe these in terms of 9, as each is an exploration of a facet of the self. When we use a system of 9, we are usually describing a part of our teaching that is interpreting one's exploration of facets of the self. That system of 9 is usually built from a stack of 3's. As we discuss with you these variations on Reality and their corresponding Dimensions, we are describing a major part of the structure that is responsible for generating alternate universes, or parallel realities. Parallel Realities converge and diverge based upon the degree to which these 9 Realities are in harmony within the self, within your community, and within your species. As Parallel Realities "spin off" or branch off from the SELF, from COMMUNITIES, and from the Species. For today, we will speak in more direct emphases on the Self as it relates to these Dimensions, but from that, one may extrapolate how this spreads to the community and global levels. As we explore these Dimensions and Realities, we suggest not assigning to them any numerical value, at least in terms of progression, because these are more like Facets, and not steps. The first Reality and its 3 Dimensions we will discuss is the Physical Reality. This is the most-solid of all Realities, of course, and is an anchor for playing out and exploring all other Realities. All other Realities must be out of sync for a Physical Reality NOT to be shared. Each Reality's Dimensions are a form of positive, negative, and neutral (or assimilative) experiences/Dimensions of that Reality. Each Reality is polarized by Positive and Negative attributes that could be described in terms of WANTS and NEEDS. We remind you that "positive" and "negative" are never used in our teaching to indicate anything more than a difference between broader focus and acute focus, or Cardinal and Ordinal, or creative and focused, etc. The Poles describe the spectrum, and the greatest understanding that can from the use of the Poles as a form of navigation is that the more one moves toward the Positive Pole, the more that BOTH Poles are included. That is because the Positive is Inclusive and the Negative is Exclusive, both for very practical functions. Each Reality will then have a ground for resolution, or Assimilation, where Positive and Negative play out. For your Physical Reality, the Negative Reality, or the DIMENSION OF NEEDS is described by your CRAVINGS. For your Physical Reality, the Positive Reality, or the DIMENSION OF PHYSICAL WANTS is described by your DESIRES. For your Physical Reality, your Assimilative Reality, or the DIMENSION OF RESOLVE is in your PHYSICAL HEALTH. These 3 Dimensions are three very different versions of Physical Reality. In other words, every fragment will have a Dimension of Reality that is dictated/created by his Cravings, and one dictated/created by his Desires, and both of these are reflected in his Health. There will never NOT be those 3 Dimensions of Physical Reality for any fragment. Physical Reality, then, can become a powerful factor for with whom one shares his or her Physical Space and Time, as shared Dimensions of Craving, Health, and Desires become important factors for sharing that space and time harmoniously. If one shares Physical Space and Time with any other, then there are AT LEAST shared Cravings and/or Desires, and how these are managed is played out in the collective Health. The next bundle of Dimensions that create Reality could be called the Emotional Reality. Fragments standing in the same room at the same time may have very different Emotional Realities. Again, this Reality is explored through Positive, Negative, and Neutral facets that exist at all times. Again, this Reality is polarized by Wants and Needs. In this case, the Dimension of Want would be your INTENTIONAL DIMENSION, and the Dimension of Need would be your DIMENSION OF LONGING. These Dimensions are then played out, or resolved, in the DIMENSION OF PERCEPTION/RELATIONSHIPS. It could be said that the Assimilative, or meeting ground for the Polar Dimensions of each Reality are always reflected in the Health, so that in the Emotional Reality it is played out in the Health of Relationships, or Perception. There is never a fragment who exists without each an Intentional, a Longing, and a Relationship Dimension to his or her Emotional Reality. The next Reality then is the Intellectual Reality. Again, this Reality is polarized by Dimensions of Want and Need, which are played out or resolved. The Intellectual Reality includes the Dimension of Ideals, the Dimension of Explanations, and resolved in the Dimension of Comprehension or Insight, which might be more accurately described as the Dimension of Philosophy. There will always be for each fragment a Dimension of Intellectual Reality that is generated from the Ideal, one that is generated from the Explained, and one that is the meeting ground of both of these in the Health of one's Personal Philosophy. We will elaborate by defining some of the terms we used: Desire is that which is Wanted Physically, and is usually motivated by Pleasure. Cravings are that which are Physically Needed, and usually motivated by Survival, or Healing. Intention is that which is brought to any relationship to generate that which is Wanted Emotionally, and is usually motivated by The creation of Meaning. Longing in that which is brought to any relationship that which is Needed Emotionally, and is usually motivated by the lack of Meaning, or fulfillment. Ideals describe the reality generated from what is Wanted Intellectually, and usually motivated by Affection, or collective improvements. Explanations describe the reality that is generated from what is Needed Intellectually, and is usually motivated by Momentum, or that which is presumed to be known. It may also be described as motivated by one's Prejudices. To the degree that one's Physical Reality and its Dimensions are healthy is the easily measured by the consistency and nature to which that fragment LAUGHS. To the degree that one's Emotional Reality and its Dimensions are healthy is easily measured by the degree to which that fragment is HAPPY. To the degree that one's Intellectual Reality and its Dimensions are healthy is easily measured by the degree to which one is at PEACE, or PEACEFUL. We will pause here for questions that may be relevant to the topic. QUEUE IS NOW OPEN ************** [Brian_W_] Regarding the emotional dimension, you mentioned that it has the Negative, Positive, and Neutral Poles. Is there a technique similar to the "hands-across" technique to be able to bring the dimensional pole into the positive? No, because the term "pole" here is used to describe the 3 Dimensions of each Reality that are rather static and existing at all times, so there is no need for moving from one to the other, but that each would be tended to, understood, and regarded as valid Realities for you. [Brian_W_] Okay, I misunderstood how "pole" was applied here. Thank you The same could be said of every Overleaf, as well. Each Pole and its resolution exist at all times, and while an emphasis might be in one Pole or another, each Pole will continue to exist for each person and each overleaf. So while one may move toward the Positive Pole of an Overleaf, this merely means that he is now INCLUDING the entire spectrum of that Overleaf. The same could be said of the Dimensions of Reality: the more one focuses on his Positive Dimension, the more the Negative is managed and healthy. For instance, if one tends to his Wants, it is almost always the case that his Needs are then already taken care of. Or, in a more specific example, if one would like to focus on his Dimension of Desire, he will be including his Dimension of Craving. Or, if one were to focus on his Dimension of Ideals, he would automatically be including his Dimension of Explanations. However, if one were to be focused on the Dimension of Cravings, it is very difficult to tend to the Dimension of Desire. To the degree that you, as an individual, tend to your "higher" Dimensions, or your Positive Pole Dimensions, the greater the Laughter, Happiness, and Peace your experience of Reality becomes. However, this often means emphasizing the Negative Poles, or the "lower" Dimensions of Reality, first, which can then lead to the "higher." Regardless of where one's emphasis or focus is, these 9 Realities or Dimensions will exist, and either be aligned with others' or not. [Oscar] Do the three Realities have any correlation to the Centering, e.g. Moving, Emotional, Intellectual? Only in terminology, for convenience. However, your Centering would exist within each of these Dimensions. [Geraldine] This might apply more to alternate or parallel realities. I know many who are going through memory loss, and not all for the same apparent reasons. As one goes through major mindset changes of any of the three Realities, does this alter one's current reality enough to "forget" parts of one's previous realities? Or, secondarily, is this part of the cause of memory loss? Memory is quite directly linked to and affected by the management of these Dimensions and Realities, because the Personality's memory is biological, and when a parallel is generated, it is because the Intellectual and Emotional Dimensions have moved into such a polarized state that they branch off a Physical Dimensions, which means a new body, so to speak. In either case of Divergence or Convergence, this "new" copy is always different enough to affect the line of (or lack of) memory. However, even within a given set of Realities, or 9 Dimensions, the memory can be affected by the various ways one manages his or her Dimensions. Every fragment will tend to have an emphasis of Dimension in each Reality, so that either the Wants or Desires are active in the consciousness for creation. If one has been emphasizing Cravings, Longings, and Explanations or Prejudices, he will alter his memory of that time when he has moved his emphases into Desire, Intentions, and Ideals. Because the Negative Poles are so acute in focus, when the focus shifts into a broadness, that which was so important or distracting or demanding might be completely lost to memory or even become romanticized to a great degree. It is not that the linear history is lost, in this case, but that the pleasure, meaning, and affection have been extracted and the symbols are no longer necessary. [Geraldine] In fact that happened to me when I finished my 5th IM. On a more practical level, if one is having problems remembering where he has placed his keys, or remembering a phone number, this would simply be a matter of blood flow to the brain and its exercise by the user. We will continue, then. The information shared here can be used in practical ways when one looks at his life through these dimensions, and when others are seen as potentially having very different Realities and Dimensions than those that are yours, or of importance to you. Understanding that the DECISIONS you make to fulfill your Desires leads to moments of CHOICE that either build upon your Reality, branch off your Reality, or join with other Realities. Understanding that the DECISIONS you make to fulfill your Cravings leads to CHOICES that create, branch, or merge Realities, can help you to tend to those smaller steps that lead to larger, pivotal experiences. DECISIONS are the steps to CHOICES, and Choices generate your Realities. And by "generate," we mean Build Upon, Branch, or Merge. Understanding that you can be in a group of people who are in the same room at that same time may not mean that each of you are in the same Intellectual or Emotional Reality, despite your shared Physical Reality. The greater your Peace and Happiness, the greater your capacity to adapt to and embrace variations of Realities, however. We are using "peace" and "happiness" to describe the confidence and trust that is within an individual or group, regardless of influences or factors, and not to describe a romanticized, syrupy, or "new agey" conclusive state. In other words, the greater your capacity to embrace all of YOUR OWN DIMENSIONS, the greater your capacity to embrace others', instead of shooting yourself into another parallel, to speak in humorous terms. These Dimensions, then, can be explored through other aspects of our Teaching, such as what have come to be understood as "the Nine Needs," or "The Nine Pillars," etc. Look to the health of your Body, your Heart/relationships, and your Mind/Philosophies for indications as to which Reality Set is important for your focus. ALL Realities and Dimensions are benefited by the attention given to any one Dimension that is most discordant.   6. MICHAEL SPEAKS 091408 Open Floor Michael Entity: Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with a response to the first question. QUESTION: I can see how anger can be useful (to show you when your boundaries have been breached), but Cruelty would seem to have no use. Why does it exist, and where does it come from? Michael Entity: In the same way that Anger is a defense, so is what you might consider to be Cruelty. However, it is important to note that "Cruelty" is often a relative experience. "Cruelty" is often not an intentional by-product of someone's action or choices, but a fragment who is disappointed might assign the label of "cruelty" to the event. For instance, when one fragment can legitimately sense the necessity of a separation within a relationship, but the other fragment is deeply attached and terrified of solitude, the choice of the fragment to move on can be interpreted as "cruel," when, indeed, it was one of the most loving choices the other fragment might have experienced to-date. COMMENT: Oh, I see. I guess I was thinking of cruelty as intentionally trying to hurt another. Michael Entity: It is very important to differentiate the intentional act of Cruelty from the interpretative act of defense against disappointment. Acts of Cruelty are often not just the result of intentions to hurt, but can be the result of neglect, denial, justification, and apathy. With all of that being said, we can now more clearly respond to your original question of "why does it exist," and "from where does it come." The legitimate act of Cruelty, whether intentional or not, is a product of choice, of course, but a product of choice that is entirely self-preserving. Not "self-serving," but self-PRESERVING. There is a difference. Self-preservation is an act of survival and fear, whereas Self-Serving is an act of giving/receiving. Cruelty, then "exists" because there are a myriad of ways in which the fearful body, mind, or heart can turn for survival purposes when these feel threatened. Even the most intentional, drawn-out acts of torture as a form of Cruelty would still be generated from this very same thing. Although all Chief Negative Features can bring about forms of Cruelty, the most active, intentional forms of Cruelty can generate from Arrogance and Self-deprecation, and the most passive forms of Cruelty can generate from Impatience and Martyrdom. In terms of "Cruelty having no use," we would agree. Cruelty is an unnecessary byproduct of fear and has no value beyond the false sense of defense. QUESTION: Would you say anything about healing our bodies when they have been experiencing physical and emotional cruelty? Michael Entity: The response to your question might find more relevance on an individual basis, but what we can say in general is for any fragment who has experienced Cruelty, whether real or imagined, 50% of the healing would come from the comprehension that the Cruelty had nothing to do with you, or your value, your meaning, your worth, your choices, your past, future, etc. In short, it has nothing to do with you at all. Many who experience Cruelty, real or imagined, healing is delayed by the constant questioning of WHY. Most often there is no answer to this question that would satisfy you. The focus for healing would be more beneficial in the direction of HOW, as in focusing on your rebuilding, your personal compassion and kindness, and your support. QUESTION: Recently it was channeled I have a surrogate task companion because my TC is not available. What reasons would a Task Companion not be available so that a surrogate TC would need to be available, and could the surrogate TC relationship last across lifetimes. Michael Entity: All fragments have surrogate Task Companions and Essence Twins. There is a spectrum of reasons for why a fragment falls into unavailability, such as death, distraction, change of plans, lack of memory, lack of interest, lack of skills or tools required for the task at hand. An Essence cannot predict the outcome of the choices that a Personality might make within a lifetime, and often those choices are counter to original intentions for the lifetime. As the soul grows older, rather than generate Karmic Ribbons as a result from the impact of another fragment's choices that might alter your plans for a life, it is simply more practical to have a surrogate step in. Surrogate relationships do tend toward consistency and are usually drawn from the closer strings within your circle of support (your Support Group of 12). For instance, a 3rd String Knowledge Position might be your Surrogate Task Companion, and a 2nd String Love Position might tend to be your surrogate Essence Twin. If these terms are unfamiliar to you, Troy can direct you to resources for exploring that Support Group details further. QUESTION: Is it possible to run out of surrogates (if the surrogate is unable to be there for some reason)? Michael Entity: Surrogates do tend to still fall into some kind of mathematical resonance with you in a way that would be similar to the fragment for whom one is stepping in. It has happened to all of you here that, after the life was entered, "no one was around." Those lifetimes can tend to be surprisingly delightful or terrifying, much in the same way one might feel if one were to plan a trip to the mall, or upon arrival to school, and finding oneself in a complete "free-for-all." Those lives are rare, especially after the Baby Soul Age cycle, because the skills for creating a Personality and lifetime becomes an art for Essence, but it has happened to some Older Souls. QUESTION: I would like clarification re: the 9/12 "Trues". There are 9 Trues PLUS Life Task/True Work, but the 9 Trues are actually grouped in threes with the True Work to make 3 quadrates. Does that mean there are 3 different aspects to the Life Task/True Work depending on its quadrate, thus making 12 Trues, 3 of which are variants of True Work? or is it 9 Trues plus 1 True Work/Life Task? which would make 10 trues . . . Michael Entity: Both angles of interpretation would work. Technically, there are 9 "Trues" made up of 3 Triads of support for the Life Task in various contexts of "Personal," "Community," and "Planetary." The phrase "True Work" was a kind of shorthand as the original concept was delivered in a consistent way to describe the Personal Quadrate and was interpreted by some as indicating a separate concept from Life Task. However, it is valid to say that the Life Task can be described through various suggestions under a title of "True Work" and each could be more specific to the different Quadrates. In other words, the Life Task would remain the same as an overall arc of description, but methods of action for manifesting the Life Task could be described in terms of True Work on a Personal level, a Community level, and a Planetary level. QUESTION: so in a sense all 9 Trues combine together as supportive elements of the Life Task which is the summation of the 9 Trues? Michael Entity We describe the three Triads as each supporting the Life Task, but the ultimate pattern is one of progressive, though non-linear, evolution, or pyramidal evolution. Any system of 9 is a pyramidal form of evolution in our system, such as the 9 Needs. When a fragment's Life Task tends to be on a Personal Level, the "base" is built from the Personal Quadrate, or Pillars of Vitality. When a fragment's Life Task tends to be on a Community Level, the base is built from the Community Quadrate, or Pillars of Harmony. When a fragment's Life Task tends to be on a Planetary Level, the base is built from the Planetary Quadrate, or Pillars of Transformation. However one "builds" or visualizes this pyramid of evolution, there will be tiers of development that eventually address all Quadrates. We have much more to say about this subject, but will move on for now. NOTE FROM TROY: Michael also shared this image for me as a way to understand this "pyramid," so I mocked up a copy as best I could. For some of the advanced students, note that the Life Task/True Works are Action; Play, Health, and Core are Expression; Rest, Spirit, and Love are Inspiration; Study, Home, and Gift are Assimilation. See attached image or the image above, if it shows properly. The image isn't static, either, but rotates as necessary or depending on a person's emphasis. [QUESTION]: How does serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, manifest in relationship to Roles and Overleaves? Are they caused by the Overleaves or are the Overleaves masked by the illness, until the illness is successfully treated? Michael Entity: No "mental illness" is caused by the Overleaves themselves, but understanding the Overleaves can help one to manage "mental illnesses." Most breakdowns in Personality however, when not due to any physical damage or developmental distortions, are usually Centering issues. COMMENT: I am going on the research that says these are physical illness. Michael Entity: Schizophrenia, for example, is the inability for the emotional elements of a Personality to communicate with one another, tending to be an Emotionally-Centered, Moving Part issue. Bipolar diagnoses are often the issues of Intellectual Centering, Moving Part. "Mental illnesses" that are diagnosed as being sourced from chemical imbalances are still connected to the Centering issues, and it can be a valid form of healing to use drug intervention on that chemical level to bring about a functioning that can then be sustained by the body in the long run. When physical damage or developmental issues of the body are a cause for a "mental illness," then this is usually a direct result of choice or allowance by Essence and is part of a greater theme of experience. In that case, the Goal is usually involved as the primary consideration, but is not the only consideration, of course. In all cases of legitimate mental illness, it is the result of breakdown in communication among the various facets of the Personality, requiring a third-party bridging for effective communication to be returned. There are a number of ways a fragment can focus a lifetime on issues that require comprehension of interconnectedness, dependency, and the importance for allowing help, so mental illness is one of those ways. Again, this is a question that can be more effectively answered in relation to specific individuals, but we believe our response here will offer some relevance in general. QUESTION: You have told earlier about suitable ways to meditate for people with emotional/intellectual and intellectual/moving centering. What about the rest: intellectual/emotional, emotional/moving, moving/intellectual and moving/emotional? Michael Entity: In nearly all cases for effective meditation, it is not so much about the Primary Center/Part, but about the Centering that is most often neglected. So an Emotionally-Centered/Intellectual Part, and an Intellectually-Centered/Emotional Part could both do well with a MOVING-CENTERED Meditation. Whatever your Centering/Part, you might find the most effective meditations to be in the realm of that third Center of Gravity that is not usually accessed. Moving-Centered Meditations can include anything that involves the Body, from taking a simple walk, to Tai Chi and Yoga to dancing the night away. Intellectually-Centered Meditations can include anything from crossword puzzles and brain teasers to such focused meditations as Transcendental Meditation, to good night of hilarity and comedy. Emotionally-Centered Meditations can include anything from a good listen to music that resonates with you, to cathartic expressions such as can be found in Primal Therapies, to night of tears and intensity at the movies. So a Moving Centered/Emotional Part or Emotional Centered/Moving Part can both do well to get out out the crosswords, brain teasers, or make their way to the nearest comedy venue. The point of meditation, in general, is to bring about a full functioning of all of the lower Centers, so it will always be most effective to focus first on that Centering that is most neglected. However, if one wants to just feel good and bring some awareness to one's natural, habitual processes, one can focus on a meditation that is resonant to the Primary Centering. Rather than compile a list of meditations for each Centering, each of you can consider this fairly accurately on your own: if it tends to emphasize the Body, it can be used as a Moving-Centered meditation. If it tends to draw up and emphasize the Emotions or feelings, it can be used as an Emotionally-Centered meditation. If it tends to bring about emphasis on the Intellect or thinking, it can be used as an Intellectually-Centered meditation. The difference between an experience being just another experience and its being a meditation is AWARENESS. When you are dancing, listening, or laughing, for example, bringing your awareness to the moment can instantly turn it into a kind of meditation. QUESTION: I'm curious about the "coincidence" of someone dying on the birthdate of a loved one; for example, my grandmother died on my birthday, and my mate died on his mother's. My feeling is, it's like a tip of the hat, a sort of spiritual wink, from one soul to another — if it's possible to generalize. Could you comment please? Michael Entity: "Meaning" is always the result of one's creating it, not finding it, or discovering it. Even when the intentions of someone is clear, the interpreted meaning on the receiving end can be quite different from those original intentions. When one dies, one will die on a day that many MANY will be able to claim as their birthday. With that in mind, we would say that when a person from your intimate circle dies on a personally relevant day, there is often an intention there. What that intention is can be very different among those instances, but we have seen that it is valid that there is usually an intended message there. QUESTION: There has been written and discussed much about that the mobile phones are overheating and making damage to our bodies when much used. There are of course also those that deny facts about any effect in one way or the other. How does the energy from the mobile phones influence on our bodies or the head when we use them? :call: :hypno: :) Michael Entity: Though the use of what you call "cell phones" or "mobile phones" is fairly recent in your history, we have not seen any effects of any significance that could be considered dangerous to the physical body, at least in terms of waves or rays, however some have exploded, causing harm, but that is a different category of threat, and minimal at that. The rays of your sun in one day can have far more impact in "negative" or dangerous ways than a lifetime's use of a cellular phone. The use of a microwave for extensive cooking can have more long-term damage to one's body than the use of a cellular phone for a lifetime. QUESTION: So the heat and dizziness some feels in the head when they hold it for a longer period close to the ears is minimal of distortion? Michael Entity: We base our response on the reports we can see relative to damages or harm caused by cellular phones, but we see none beyond those of the explosive variety and some cases of interference with regulators, such as "pacemakers." The heat is legitimate, but the dizziness appears to be individual reactions to holding up the arm for extended periods of time, or walking and talking at the same time. Other reasons can tend to come from the audio effects on the ear drums as many cellular phones can tend to have poor translation from device to ear. We offer our response as reflective of what is on record at this time, but we do not offer it as a conclusive report. The devices in question are undergoing a number of changes that will continue to require monitoring for effects. We will conclude here. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
