Ask Michael Live Chat April 5, 2015 Channel: Troy Tolley Kurtis: Hi Michael, today i'd like to continue with the Idealist in a social situation. I especially liked your additions of "What did you expect" and other such phrases last time, so if you can include those I'd appreciate. Kurtis: The phrases were in the response to the Realist question btw, just to jog your memory MEntity: The Idealist in social situations is constantly measuring against an ideal. Both the self and others are being assessed, sized up, compared, measured, and calculated in ways that can be mind-boggling to those not an Idealist. Idealists can be of the most clearly and strongly-opinionated of the Attitudes, with some of the strongest arguments in support of those opinions and perspectives. MEntity: Idealists can tend to read the languages of your body in ways that go far beyond the use of your words. Idealists will often respond more to what was not said than to what was said, because Idealists can see/hear beyond the facades or measured responses. MEntity: Idealists are so prone to looking beyond what IS and into the projected patterns from what is, that they can sometimes be out of sync with the experiences of others around them. In other words, while others may see/hear exactly what is being said/shown, the Idealist is accessing dimensions that extend from there. MEntity: In the Positive Pole, there is Coalescence. This is the pulling together of the necessary parts that fulfill the ideal or the assessed pattern. MEntity: This means that the Positive Idealist may compare, measure, assess, and predict accurate patterns, but always remembers that there is more. There will always be more. This Idealist may be very clear and accurate in her understanding of the self or another person, but always makes room for variables. MEntity: The Positive Idealist is not conclusive. MEntity: This lack of conclusivity and room for variables is also what makes them of the most Naive, the Negative Pole. MEntity: Idealists will often "see the best" in you, in herself, even as there is neglect, abuse, and pain. MEntity: Idealists can, also, hold you or the self to a standard of expectation that is often unmatched, leading to another version of Naivety that is constantly pitting you against what SHOULD be. MEntity: So Naivety can show up here as the inability to discern what further parts might be necessary for fulfilling an ideal, or show up as the inability to see that there are no further parts so the ideal cannot be fulfilled. MEntity: Idealists will always tend to challenge your resting place for what is expected of yourself, themselves, and others. MEntity: As usual, there is always more to explore in these topic-length questions, but this can be added to the explorations. Janet: I believe you have said that after death the personality experiences -- for awhile at least -- whatever that personality expected to experience after death. So, for instance, if they believed there was no life after death, they would experience nothingness until they finally woke up and realized that there was something there after all. Janet: I am wondering about people whose personalities are more or less gone well before death. Those with Alzheimer’s, for instance, don’t show any trace of the beliefs the personality had before losing touch with reality, but of course it’s hard to tell what they actually believe when they are lost to the condition. Janet: Do those with Alzheimer’s or dementia experience their personality’s core beliefs after death? Or maybe even before death? Or do they become more in touch with the truth about what happens after death due to what I assume is more astral activity after the personality loses touch with physical reality? MEntity: Janet, many who die experience a very different death from what was expected, even if they professed to know what to expect. Death brings the truth to the surface. Many Personalities cloak their inability to comprehend death by embracing others' stories of death, or ignoring it, or distracting themselves. So even if someone professes to believe in a heaven after death, this heaven is not necessarily what is experienced because the Personality did not truly believe there is a heaven. Or a hell, for that matter. But it is true that when the Personality is truly invested in and believes in an after-death expectation, it is generated and experienced. MEntity: The after-death reality is as varied as cities in the Physical Plane, so the Astral is populated with "cities" dedicated to the more sustained versions of after-life. There even variations on themes, so that there are multiple "heavens" and "hells" to accommodate. They remain a hoot to visit. MEntity: As for those who disconnect from a life over a greater length of time, the realization and waking up is less about the after-life, but about the current life. MEntity: The etheric body loses its anchor in time, and is free to explore within the timeline of that lifetime. MEntity: Review tends to be the theme for most, as the life is replayed, revisited, and recreated. MEntity: This can leave the Body as an anchor point in time that is, quite literally, hosting for the Personality as it existed throughout the life. MEntity: All sub-personalities are freed. MEntity: It is both chaotic and beautiful, but "death" is not experienced until the body is no longer breathing. MEntity: As long as the body is breathing, or "alive," the Personality is, too. MEntity: Though the Personality is not anchored in time, it is processing the life, not the death. GeraldineB: This is from Brian: I'd like some basic level information on how can we recognize and stop thinking of things in terms of "black and white" / polarized thinking? MEntity: First, it is fairly impossible not to think in terms of "black and white," as duality is natural and helpful. We describe polarities for this reason. However, one way to help keep one from locking into one or the other is to always remember that one is inclusive of the other. There will always be one part of a duality that is inclusive of the more exclusive part. "White" is the presence all color, whereas "black" is the absence of color. However, it could be said that there is nothing inherently "wrong" with black or white, only differences in function or nature. MEntity: White reflects, and Black absorbs. Positive reflects, and Negative absorbs. Love remembers and Fear forgets. MEntity: So thinking in polarities is not the problem. It is when one does NOT think in polarities that the problems come. MEntity: In other words, if one thinks that one should only aim for light, then shadows will be terrifying. If one thinks that there are only shadows, then one cannot see. MEntity: If black is consuming your life, you are merely forgetting about what is reflecting, what is present, and what is color. If one only thinks that white is pure, then he is forgetting that white cannot exist as itself. It is a higher sum from the parts. MEntity: So when you feel as if you are thinking only terms of black and white, or polarized, remember that it is not the polarity that is the problem, it is that the polarity now presents you with the responsibility of CHOICE. MEntity: Choice is the color between the extremes of black and white. ViP: Do the body types influence how Centering operates, or vice-versa? For example, if a person has a passive/negative Nature body type, does that influence the types of forms or feelings that are generated from the Part of the Center that one habitually operates from? This was just to illustrate one possible example, but any more general explanation would be great as well. MEntity: Yes, there are some consistent correlations to consider, but they are only for consideration, not presented as rules: MEntity: Martial and Venusian TEND to require and generate TANGIBLE effects from the processes of their Centering, regardless of the Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of affection, touch, and seeing/feeling the impact of their presence. MEntity: Mercury/Jovial TEND to require and generate FEEDBACK from the processes of their Centering, regardless of Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of conversation, expression, and exchange of ideas. ViP: Are these in terms of these body types as Nature, or just based on which body type is Primary/highest percentage? MEntity: Lunar/Saturn TEND to require and generate ALLIANCE from the processes of their Centering, regardless of Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of mutual interests, raw honesty, and consistency. MEntity: All of the above are in terms of the Body Type that dominates, regardless of Nature, Appearance, or Health. MEntity: However, there will always be a mix. MEntity: The above are tendencies as described in very simplistic and short paragraphs, but you may be able to see the validity that can lead to more detailed exploration. Luciana: "Could you explain the potential reasons for unjustified fears in life, such as a fear of dogs despite not having been attacked or bitten by one?" MEntity: We cannot explain them with one explanation, no. We can suggest that phobias are often symbolic of deeper issues, or speak to imprinted ideas that have origins that are forgotten. Many phobias are as simple as having heard a loud sound at the same time as the object of phobia being presented for the first time. For instance, many who fear buttons do so because of the experience of MEntity: rushed buttoning of clothes while toddlers or younger. Many who are afraid of dogs when one has no obvious cause for it are afraid because a parent was afraid. These instances can register and remain intact as indications of threat, even as there is no threat. Many fear snakes, not because they have been threatened by snakes, but because "everyone" is afraid of snakes. MEntity: Some phobias are inherent in the Instinctive Center and activated by those around the individual through imprinting. Some phobias are taught. Some are deeply symbolic. Some are not relevant to the object of phobia at all, but the object just happens to work. For example, if someone has a fear of intimacy that is repressed, he might redirect this as an allergy to cats, denying his fear of intimacy. MEntity: Many who are afraid of dogs are afraid of people. MEntity: Dogs become the focus of that fear. MEntity: A distrust in people translates into this phobia for dogs. MEntity: One must deal with people on a regular basis, so the fear is repressed to a great degree and redirects toward "man's best friend," since this can quite easily play out the actual fears and distrust of "being bitten" by people. MEntity: This is because dogs have come to regarded as extensions of people. MEntity: It is then "safer" to fear dogs and to navigate around them than it is to cripple oneself to the fears and distrust of all people. MEntity: Some phobias come up because of triggers that resonate with past lives, of course, when that which is feared is somehow linked to harm or death that went unresolved. However, it will still be true that this is relevant to issues in the current life. Experiences from Past lives are not imposed on a life, but they can be activated by the current life. MEntity: The above are some broad examples to help understand the nature of phobias.
Ask Michael - April 3, 2016 Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. We will begin with ViP VIP: Hi Michael. VIP: I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but do body types have positive and negative poles, and if so, do they vary according to whether the type is present as Nature, Appearance or Body? VIP: And, if so, could you choose one and give a brief description of its positive and negative pole as an example? Yes, Body Types have Positive and Negative Poles. An example could be LUNAR with a Positive Pole of Luminous and a Negative Pole of Pallid regarding Appearance, with Nature having Unattached as a Positive Pole and Childish as a Negative Pole, and Health as Sensitive in the Positive Pole and Resignation as Negative Pole. We will relay this to Troy so that a comprehensive listing can be added to your library. VIP: Ok, thank you Michael! Next, Daniela. DanielaS: Hi Michael. The March Energy Report said that on March 19 there would be a (mini) Nexus - Divergence: "This looks to be a minor shift that may be related to events generated by a high-profile event or person who represents the force of a population/collective. If this occurs, the effects would be in terms of narrowing paths forward." On March 22 th there was a terrorist attack in Brussels. Was this the high-profile event that ushered in the (mini) Nexus and if so could you elaborate on how paths forward were narrowed? Yes. March 19 appeared to us to be the marked shift toward a high profile event, and the event in Brussels seems to have been that event. We can only see that a pattern is emerging, and can assess upcoming probabilities based on that, but we wish to be clear that we did not "predict" this event. We differentiate prediction from assessing probabilities because prediction implies certainty while probabilities inherently consider even "last-minute" choice. This event reflected a shift relative to the recent Nexus in that patterns are growing "tighter and tighter" in regard to a breaking point for many people. The line of division between Soul Ages is deepening, so to speak, creating a void that will, eventually, be filled. As the division deepens it is creating a metaphorical gap, a fault line, throughout populations on a wider scale than has been the case in a long time. That fault line, or gap, is snapping even the most flexible and compassionate and inclusive of individuals to one "side" or the other. That gap is deepening and widening and this cannot be sustained, so it is contributing to the Turning Point of this year when the tension either gives way and erupts abruptly and shockingly among the masses, or a means of relieving that gap is offered up as a more productive solution. So the "narrowing" is in terms of the apparent sense that even if one did not actively choose so, he or she is likely to be forced to one "side" or the other, and that the resolution is leading only toward two scenarios: breakthrough or breakdown. Next, Connor. ConnorB: Hello Michael ConnorB: Can you convey an idea of what the afterlife was like for the first Humans to die? I'm curious because when the "gun jumpers" of our newly incarnating Design lived out their first lifetimes and died, they didn't have any cycled-off, more experienced friends to help them out. Was the afterlife very chaotic in the beginning? Most new Sentience is cared for by an established Sentience, so there are often plenty of experienced fragments ready to greet and support the newly dead of a new Sentient species. Remember that all Sentient species of a planet share the same Astral Plane. For example, Human and Cetacean Sentience has been supporting Gorilla fragments between lives. Mostly Human, but some Cetacean. For Humans, we had our own "caretakers" and then Cetacean. The constructs of these other Sentient species' own ideas of "afterlife" often inform those early lifetimes so that superstitions are born of the experiences between lives. There are two effects that seem to have been the most deeply affecting upon our earliest Human deaths/incarnations: One is along the lines of all variations on Shamanism, and the other is the deep, aching longing for a "home" that seems not to be of Earth. This is because precedence was set in those early afterlives by non-terrestrial relationships, and then Cetaceans informed us of more mystical relationships with the planet and its life forms. Keep in mind that the above is relative to the individual and his/her allowance of Review between lifetimes. In those instances there is teaching from those relationships we describe. However, most Infant Souls scramble desperately to return to a body and do so with little Review. ConnorB: I'm certainly looking forward to hanging out with dead dolphins. It is not unusual for the Astral interval to be "skipped" entirely and have back-to-back birth/death for several lives. ConnorB: Reminds me of waking up in the morning without remembering any dreams. It could be said to be chaotic, but it is a beautiful chaos that eventually leads to an awakening that perpetuates the evolution. ConnorB: Very cool, Michael, thank you. NEXT, Brian Brian_: Hi Michael. I realize this might be simplistic, but what is Truth? What is Love? What is Energy? We will say that Truth is that which True, or that which is in keeping with persistent and consistent understanding. This definition allows room for the 3 Levels of Truth that accommodate the Personal, Planetary, and Universal. Love is the gravity of souls. Energy is the indestructible, but infinitely variable and perpetual, fuel and form of a universe. Brian_: Could you expand upon "Love is the gravity of souls" ? In more material terms, it could be said that Love is a force generated by the vacuum of fragmentation. That vacuum cannot be sustained and is in a perpetual process of closing as a means to reunite fragments. In more spiritual terms, it could be said that Love is the process of remembering. There are many ways that we can respond to the questions of what these terms mean, but this is one way. NEXT, Becca. Becca: Hi Michael. I’m hoping you could elaborate on the themes and specialisations of some of the ‘less common’ cadres for us, today. Becca: You have previous provided some great information about cadres 1 and 2 who seem particularly common within these teaching communities (through some channels these are known as cadres 3 and 4, I believe), and I am hoping you might be able to tell us about other cadres, particularly cadres 7 – 9. Is there a reason it is so rare to come across members of these cadres and ‘higher’? Do they have a particular specialisation/focus of their own that draws them away from these teachings (e.g. are they predominantly younger souls, or have they cycled off already)? Thanks, and thanks for the beautiful responses you've given today. We have only one Cadre and Entity numbering system for a Sentience. All others are creative variations relative to an individual. There are variations of numbering and terms when expanding to include other Sentience, but we tend to emphasize the structure of Human Sentience in our teaching. Cadres 1, 2, 3, and 4 are higher in profile among our students because they are at the Cardinal end of the Energy Ring. These Cadres tend to lead the way in clearing paths, pioneering, experimenting, reaching out, exposing, questioning, integrating, inspiring, facilitating, etc. Cadre 4 specializes in mentoring and guiding and because of this has cycled off, acting as a resource of guides and support for all fragments of the Energy Ring. Because of the emphasis on Love by Cadre 1, and Knowledge by Cadre 2, and Compassion by Cadre 3, the fragments from these Cadres tend to create the network that allows the rest of the Energy Ring to explore in ways that bring a deep sense of safety and direction. When an Energy Ring makes its Agreements with its Teachers, the first 4 Cadres tend to "do all of the work" of directly accessing that teaching and this is then shared among the rest of the Energy Ring. In other words, many from Cadres 1-4 actually teach the teaching to the rest of the Cadre. This is not to say that Cadres 5 through 12 will not be among our active students recognizing our teaching, but many from those Cadres will tend to elect ambassadors or representatives, so to speak, who will work directly with us or a student from Cadres 1 - 4 and then make that information accessible to the Entities of that Cadre. While we have Agreements with all of your Energy Ring, the method of teaching you recognize as "channeling" and direct access to us is not how all of our students will learn from us. We focus on those active students who will then carry forward our teaching throughout the Energy Ring across lifetimes. This is an important dynamic because it is not often that such a method of teaching is actually available. It requires relatively prosperous and peaceful times for us to work through a channel, and even if the channel is available for this method, the students may not be. This is easier in older soul populations and paradigms, but there is no reason to wait for "perfect" states to begin our Agreements. So from among 12 Cadres, if we can get a stable "handful" to work directly with us, the teaching Agreements can be fulfilled any number of ways from there. As for Cadres 7, 8, and 9, we will say that Cadre 7 is focused on exploring decadence, pleasure, laughter, paradox, humor, and levity. Cadre 8 is focused on themes relative to profound responsibility, difficult choices, structure as a path of freedom, discipline. Cadre 9 is spread across the planet with many fragments directly involved in issues of social, political, and philosophical security, accountability, reality-checks, and anchoring awareness. A great deal of Cadre 9 perished in the "Twin Towers" of New York City. Though we can continue to expand our response, we will leave that for further exchanges. Becca: Thanks very much :) NEXT. We can take one or two more questions. AnnH: In the recent NYC Michael Speaks, you said “Pick your parallels wisely.” How does one pick a parallel? Can this be done consciously? We did not say that. AnnH: oops. I quoted it from the transcripts. DanielaS: It was a comment from one of the participants. Brian_: Can we though? AnnH: Oh, well. Can we pick parallels? Brian_: Either attract or repel parallels that we want? TyroneT: (lol) Parallels are always chosen and/or generated from choice. AnnH: Can we do this consciously and in what ways? The idea that one may be better than another is superficial speculation based on the degree of anticipated comfort. By the time "you" reach a point where parallels are converging or diverging, the choices that generate or lead you to a parallel have long been in effect. AnnH: ok Parallels are generated from cumulative effect. So our answer to your question is that, yes, you can consciously choose your parallels, but this is not like a menu at a restaurant where you pick and choose, or an intersection of streets at which you choose which way to turn. Instead, your active participation in consciously creating or moving toward a parallel is directly proportional to you practice in conscious choice on a daily basis. Think of it this way: The paths available upon reaching a branch from a parallel do not indicate options from which to choose at that moment, but indicate all directions that you will already go because of choices along the way. In other words, 3 paths at the intersection are not a prompt for choice, but a product of choice, and all three will be followed. We have worked with Troy on a detailed exploration of how parallels work and we suggest reminding him to direct you to this for more exploration. NEXT, final question Miia: Howdy Michael! Miia: I would like to get some more understanding about choice regarding parenting. Using myself as an example, I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant, and the feeling of responsibility (as I guess is quite normal) is getting almost daunting. I suppose the conflict here, at least for me personally, is the fundamental belief than everyone is responsible for themselves, and yet here I am, making really big decisions for another, very helpless human being. It is hard for me to relax and not feel very stressed about it, and I think one of the main reasons is that it just doesn't sit with the whole philosophy of choice for me. I am trying to think of it as, if something goes wrong, it *is* ultimately also that fragment's choice to agree to that experience. But it doesn't feel quite right, or good enough an explanation. Simply thinking "it is what it is, and just do your best", or "fears are illusion" or "trying to control everything is maya and only brings on anxiety" is just not cutting it in this situation, even if all those things were true. (The only thing I have found truly helpful is focusing on the moment, but that helps, well, for the moment ;)) Miia: So, what is your insight and advice for parents and parents-to-be, how to see through the, I suppose phobia, of possible threats (in my case, mainly but not only toxins, radiation and chemicals in our modern environment, homes and food etc), and the illusion of being solely responsible for the new human's well-being and "destiny"? Thanks! Miia, you are awake, and this is why the empty and inaccurate cliches no longer sit well with you. This is not just about parenting, but about being responsible as a conscious individual. All that happens TO an individual is not his or her choice. What one does with what happens to himself or herself is choice, but not always that which happens TO you. You cannot (always) control what happens TO you. That is simply a part of the dynamic and gamble of the Physical Plane, and what happens to you is often a byproduct of the range and impact of choice that exists for all fragments. In other words, if someone decides to harm you it does not mean you chose that. You may have made choices that led you to be in a position of vulnerability, but that is not the same thing as choosing to be harmed. If you contract an illness, it is not often because you chose to be sick. Illness can form from cumulative choices and behaviors that can lead to illnesses, but that does not mean the choice was to be sick. It is irresponsible and empty for any teaching to teach otherwise. Fears ARE often illusions, but the key element missing from this cliche is that fear is also informative. When you recognize fear, it is not helpful to look away, but rather to look closer. Fear informs you of threats, but your conscious sorting through those fears is the key to differentiating between what is speculative and what is legitimate. As for parenting, it is fair that you are concerned for the well-being of this new body because until that body is at least 7 years old, it is an extension of you on all levels. After 7 years old, the "nature" of the individual activates in a way that can then blend with or overturn the "nurture," but the first 7 years are entirely dependent upon nurture. If something goes "wrong," it is not necessarily because of choice on your part or that of the new Personality and its Essence. It is simply because the Physical Plane is inherently risky and scathing is a part of that risk. If you wish and choose to parent responsibly, let your fears inform you. Look at what concerns you. Educate yourself to your choices. Allow room for surprises and "curve balls" because they will come. Letting your fears inform you gives them a state of usefulness instead of distraction. Life is fragile. Life is messy. Life is chaotic. Miia: Oh man the hours of research and educating myself about all the choices =P Miia: I think its my Idealism that likes to fight against "chance" and "risk' existing. And yet, everything around you lives in some way. However fragile, messy, and chaotic life may be, the point is TO LIVE. And this is the final important note we can share in addition to letting your fears inform you. When you feel distracted by fears, by chance, by risk, by worry, it can be helpful to remind yourself that these are a part of LIFE. And you cannot forget to LIVE. And LET LIVE. In other words, no amount of safety and assurance is worth compromising the quality of living. As long as your fears are informing you so that you and your loved ones can live, then you are doing well. But if they interfere with the quality of living, then they are pointless. Remember to live. Miia: Nice :) Thank you. ! That is the best comfort one can bring to herself when life seems scary. We will conclude here for today. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now.
