  1. Michael Speaks: Healing and Healers May 8, 2011 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here now. We can begin on the subject of Healing & Healers. We will, first, define "Healing" and "Healers." We will define Healing as "a return to, extraction of, or an imposition of Order from Chaos" and Healer as "that which, or those whom, facilitate the return to, extraction of, or imposition of Order from Chaos." Wounding, however it manifests, is Chaos, or at least seeming Chaos. There are really only 7 ways in which a Body can die, or be wounded. These 7 ways can overlap, and some may be able to refine these to a greater degree than we have through this channel, but those 7 Basic Ways of Wounding/Dying would be: Illness, Poisoning, Impact, Impaling, Suffocation, Starvation/Dehydration, and Natural/Shutdown. Each of these can bring wounding or death, and can be brought to any Body, including the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and "Spiritual" Bodies. Some of the terms would not be so literal in terms of the less-tangible Bodies, but are relevant terms. Death and Wounding are parts of the experience of the Higher Moving Center, which is the spectrum between Chaos and Beauty. Beauty is simply the recognition of patterns versus the lack of recognition of patterns that is Chaos. We use the term "recognition" because often the difference between Chaos and Beauty is a matter of recognition, or perception, and is a relative state. There are those who "suffer" wounding in ways that "should" bring about a great deal of Chaos, but those individuals return to, extract from, or impose a new order from the chaos in a way that is HEALING. There are those who have "no reason" to suffer and have lost all recognition of order, or beauty, in the life, and these individuals can truly be wounded. And so it is that the differences between Wounding and Healing are as "simple" as the differences between Chaos and Beauty. And so it is that the difference between Wounding and Death are the differences between Chaos and Beauty, as well. Wounding is Chaos. Death is Order/Beauty. Every Personality and Lifetime will explore the spectrum between Order and Chaos, but will always end in Order as a means for Review in the afterlife, and Death is that process of returning everything back to Order, or Beauty. Order can also be returned within the life through HEALING, and since not everyone wants to die as a means to regain Order, there is a necessity for HEALERS. This necessity is vital enough that it is one of the 12 Primary Support Positions within any Circle of Support. This means that every single fragment has at least one Healer accessible at all times in every incarnation and beyond. This may seem a rather sweeping generalization as there are many who suffer without apparent access to healing, but this apparent lack of access is a result of complications that are often unnecessary and are products of choice. A society can become rather powerful in imprinting various individuals to only accept the standardized methods and providers of Healing, which may or may not have helped. The Healing that a fragment may require is not always as obvious as his or her wounding. But the Healer and Healing that a fragment most-requires is ALWAYS accessible in some way. The first key in accessing that is through the realization of the fact that no Healer or Healing can actually HEAL; they can only facillitate Healing and Healing Methods. The only one who can ever truly heal you, is you. The individual can always override a Healer and Healing. However, the necessity for Healers is because often the first step to True Healing is in the ASKING FOR HELP. Wounding, or the plunge into Chaos within a lifetime, is a vital part of the experience of living because it is one of the few states or experiences that can be explored that provokes the Universal Truth of Oneness, or in simpler terms, the fact that you are not alone. Ever. Even if the Wounding leads to Death, or if someone's asking for help is still met with Death, the profound validity of that Oneness and the necessity for reaching out, is often registered in ways that are never lost by Essence. The 7 Ways to Die, or 7 Methods of Wounding, correspond to the Axes in ways that can often shed light for Healing and for Healers. Illness and Poisoning are Inspirational-based Woundings/Deaths. Impaling/Impact are Action-based Wounding/Deaths. Suffocation/Starvation are Expression-based Woundings/Deaths; and Shutting Down/Natural methods are Assimilative. Some of these are obvious, and some may not be so clear, and while we offer up these correlations, we will not say that they are rules or static associations. For example, we can say that MOST Illnesses or intaking of Poisons are MOSTLY related to issues of Self-Esteem, which are extensions of the Chief Features of Self-deprecation and Arrogance. This kind of statement can be explored in a multitude of ways. The immune system is directly connected to Self-Esteem, and so it goes that any fluctuation in Self-Esteem is a fluctuation in Immunity. Self-deprecation is almost always at the core of Illness. The toxins that one takes in without question or concern through his or her eating of poor diet, might be an example of Arrogance at the core of slow Poisoning of the body. And so on... There are only 4 ways through which any of these 7 Methods of Wounding/Death can be implemented: Suicide, Homicide, Accident, and Natural, each corresponding to an Axis; Inspirational, Action, Expression, and Assimilative, respectively. Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers. And there are only ever 3 methods of Healing: through Truth, Love, or Energy. Facilitating Order within the Chaos of the Truth, Love, or Energy of an individual. This means that Healers range far beyond those who actively practice Healing, or those who specifically work with the various Bodies. In fact, every single one of you are Healers in at least one other Fragment's Circle of Support in every life. If this were not so, then Healers and Healing would not be so accessible to every fragment. One does not have to identify with being a "healer" to be a Healer. If you help to bring Order to someone's Chaos, you are a Healer. If you help someone to experience, comprehend, see, feel, or hear the Beauty that is inherent in any part of his or her life, you are a Healer. Anyone who can help others to bring Order to the Truth, Love, or Energy in someone's life, is a Healer. Whether this is done actively and consciously, or passively and unconsciously, does not matter. And so it is that each of you will always be in a position to HEAL YOUR OWN LIFE, which by definition simply means to bring Beauty to the Chaos of it, whether this be in Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual form. Bringing Beauty or Order to any part of your life helps to bring that Healing into every Body you are. Often, for instance, the Chaos that is in your Physical Body can only be masked by the treatments offered for the symptoms that this Body exhibits, but the True Healing would come from the Beauty/Order that is brought to your Emotional Body/Life. Much of what passes for Healing is only Treatment. Treatment is necessary, and is not a "bad thing," but it is not Healing. Understanding the various correlations above, and the 3 methods of Healing as they correlate to Wounding, can also shed light on the requirements for True Healing. For instance, those who are Wounded by Illness or Posioning usually require True Love for True Healing. Those who are wounded by Impaling or Impact often require True Order for True Healing; those who are wounded by Suffocation/Starvation often require The Truth for for True Healing. Keep in mind that there is a limitation on language here that can make some of these correlations seem confusing, so we encourage creative understanding here so that the terms are not always literal. For instance, it might sound strange that Impaling or Impact requires True Order/Beauty, but if you think of these Wounding correlations as extensions of Martyrdom and Impatience, both rooted in fears of losing Control, you might see why any healing would require a shift in understanding the nature of Beauty and Order. A fragment who is thrown through a windsheild because of his Impatience might be an example. A fragment who is rendered lifeless because of the "impaling" of her heart by the rejection of a loved one might be another example. Being Wounded and Being Healed are MESSY. There is no hard, clean, perfect correlation, and there is often a great deal of overlapping of correlations, so we offer these insights only as guidelines for those who explore Healing, or need Healing. ALL Wounding is a progression that begins INTELLECTUALLY, then EMOTIONALLY, and then PHYSICALLY. This means that if Wounding has come to the level of Physicality, it is almost assured that there is Wounding "up through" the Emotions and Intellect. When we say "All wounding," we mean ALL. Even "Accidents." This does not mean that Wounding is a fault of the Wounded, but it is often a result of a path of choices, internally and externally, that led to the state that allowed for, or created, the Wounding. Even in cases of Homicide. Again, this is not a matter of fault or choices made on obvious levels, but there is something to the fact that two people can be in the same place at the same time doing the same things and only one is Wounded. [liiona24] Please comment on the validity Of the Reconnection As brought forth by Eric Pearl as " new" Healing energy There is no "new" healing energy. All Healing is essentially the return of Order from Chaos, however that is described or packaged, tangibly or intangibly. There are many illnesses in modern times that are susceptible to "miracles" or "energy healing" because the illness never truly existed in the dimension from which it was diagnosed, such as AIDS, Cancers, several other chronic issues. This is not to say that there are no such things as collapses of immune systems, or Cancers, or other chronic issues, but those categories have a percentage of diagnoses that are valid diagnoses at one point, but because the "illness" is not Physically-rooted, the return of Order to the Emotions, or Intellect, can "cure" the "illness." Often, the return of Order to the Intellect and Emotion does not require Physical Healing, or Treatment, but a simple shift in beliefs or feelings. Energetic Healing can ONLY ever return order to the Intellect or Emotion, which may then result in being reflected Physically, of course. When we say "Energetic" here, we refer to those practices that would not require Physical contact in any way. In short, to clarify with Marion: we think the idea of "The Reconnection" is more likely a "Repackaging" of ideals and energies that have always been available. This is not to say that the repackaging is "bad," because even our own teaching requires repackaging for different students with different capacities for hearing us. [Nicholas] When Dr. Pearl and others refer to "new" healing, could they be referring to the validity that as a collective, we are opening up to more possibilities of healing as a reflection of the shift to Mature Soul paradigm? In response to Nicholas: we cannot speak on the behalf of the fragment who is known as "Dr. Pearl," or his associates, but we can say that a Mature-based Paradigm would have far more validity to the concept of "Energetic" healing, since most Emotional and Intellectual Wounding would also be considered as valid. In a Young-based paradigm, most Healing is only considered valid on the levels of the tangible. It is only in recent years, relatively speaking, that the concept of Therapy was considered something of validity."Therapy," in terms of Psychologists, Pscyho-, etc. [TimW] Can you please elaborate a little more on what you said, "Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers"? Possibly a couple of examples with relation to physical "energetic" healing (if time permits)? For example, Tim, those who are wounded from attempted Homicide would clearly benefit from healing that focuses on the Action Axis, so that a sense of Order for that individual's Time or Space is vital, or put another way: that the Martyrom and Impatience is addressed. Those who suffer from the wounding of attempted Homicides do well to have had their sense of Control brought into focus for their lives in some way, because Homicide, or Impaling/Impact, on a Body CAN throw the entire life into absolute lack of control. For those who are wounded by the methods of Suicide, it is vital that Inspiration is brought back into his or her life. Suicides are usually the result of Inspirational elements collapsing into Chaos, so a return to Order in that context can help bring about True Healing. We realize that "Suicide" is also the Negative Pole of Self-destruction, which is an Expression Axis Chief Feature, but this is another example of Context. In the context of Methods for implementing Wounding, Suicide correlates to Inspiration. In the context of Results of Fear, Suicide correlates to Expression. For those who are Wounded by Accidents, there is a necessity for those fragments to understand "the message" in the "Accident," as all Accidents are Expressions, or Messages. In fact, there are no "accidents," but it is a valid category for understanding how Wounding is implemented, and Accidents equal Messages. Healers, then, would help that fragment to understand what "lesson" or "message" might have been in the accident. [Diane_H] Can you explain the difference between Intellectual and Emotional healing? Are they often intertwined? Intellectual Healing would require the Order returned to the Intellect, or the Intellectual Center to return to the Positive Pole of INSIGHT. This is usually a matter of returning the fragment to a state of honesty about his or her life in a way that brings that Insight, instead of a chronic state of REASON. A chronic state of Reason will bring the Intellect into a constant state of overdrive, looking for patterns that are not there, or creating patterns that are not valid, forcing justifications, reasons, explanations for that which is not understood. This, then, can lead to affect the Emotional Center in a way that pulls the Emotions into a chronic state of Negative Pole, which is Sentimentality. Sentimentality is the confusion and blurring between Symbols and Meanings, and when Symbols and Meanings become confused, Beliefs are generated. And so the Intellect that forced a false pattern then begins to believe it in the Emotions. A simplistic example would be in one who might Think that someone's intentions were to hurt her, and so begins to believe that this person did hurt her, because she can feel that hurt. But the truth will have been that she forced an explanation or a reason for someone else's choices that she did not like, and then the person who symbolized "Love" for her is gone, so that means "love" is also gone, and now she has become Intellectually and Emotionally wounded. To bring Healing to her Emotionally, she will have to regain the Order that allows for a person to symbolize Love, but does not confuse the conduit of Love for Love, itself. [Diane_H] So it could be said that Intellectual wounding comes from one's interpretation of symbols, and Emotional wounding is the emotion that result from it? If the Healing is not addressed Intellectually or Emotionally, it can then move into Physicality, and she will either open up to, or create a path to, Homicide, Suicide, Accident, or Natural methods of implementing one of the 7 Woundings. Yes, Diane, that could be one way of describing a pattern, though we might clarify the statement to read: Intellectual Wounding can come from False or Forced Interpretation, and Emotional Wounding is the Belief/Feelings that support in that Falsehood or Forced Interpretation. [Kathryn41] I assume that 'wounding' can also be a 'choice' for a life experience, but how often does the choice to experience one type of wounding lead to a collateral type of wounding, for example, a consequence of choosing a body type that allows for the chosen wounding to occur but experiencing an additional injury/illness that came along because of that body type? We will say here that it is rare that Wounding is CHOSEN, though sometimes, it is. What is a more accurate way to understand the nature of Choice, in this regard, is that Wounding is often a RESULT of Choices. [Kathryn41] the example I can use is a child with type 1 diabetes - born with the condition - a chosen condition more easily manifested in lunar body and then later in life experiencing another type of injury for which the lunar body is especially susceptible A Body Type is chosen that may have predispositions to certain health issues or deformities, but it was not necessarily the health issues or deformities that were chosen, but that they were hooked in to other choices that were more important as priorities. For instance, an Essence may have thought it was a great idea, or a great method for balancing Karma, to choose a Body Type that may lend itself to a sort of dependency that allowed for kindness, patience, and Love to come into the experiences of the Personality, from within and without. Often these "great ideas" go in all kinds of directions once the life is in motion, but that is part of the Chaos and Beauty that is inherent in any life, even in the most-perfect of body with the most-perfect of plans and Karma-free life. [Oscar] What would those wounded by natural/shutting down need for True Healing, or is there no healing possible since it's natural? UNDERSTANDING. That is all. Those who are Wounded by Natural Causes/Shutting Down can often do best with a simple bit of comfort in Wisdom shared with him or her or from him or her. In terms of Wounding/Dying, Natural Causes/Shutting Down is about bringing comprehension to the moment about the life before exiting, and this can show up as the life "flashing before their eyes," or from loved ones around the bed side, etc. In terms of Wounding/Dying, it might even be better understood as "Gratitude" that is a part of the Healing. In terms of Implementation, with something like a Natural Disaster which may bring Impact, Impaling, Illness, Poison, etc, it can still be helpful for those who experienced that Implementation to grasp the nature of Nature, so that it is not seen as personal. Though it will always be the most-helpful to focus on the actual Method of Wounding, for Healing purposes. [VLS] Is there any healing that can be done with the dying involving touch, if so can you advise the best approach-thank you ALL Physical forms of Healing affect Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies, whereas Emotional Healing can only affect Emotional and Intellectual Bodies, and Intellectual Healing is limited to Intellectual Bodies. This is because the denser the form of Healing, the more it can be accessed by the subtler Bodies. This is not to say that Emotional Healing cannot bring about Physical Healing, but it would not be direct. Physical Healing, or rather, having a Physical Medium for Healing, can bring about multiple layers of Energy for use in the multiple bodies. For instance, your Touch can bring with it the Comfort that is of the Physical Level of Healing, the Affection that is the Emotional Level of Healing, and the Permission that is the Intellectual Level of Healing. We are speaking to you about a very specific kind of Touch that you bring, and not all Touch would bring that same kind of Healing. A simple resting of the hand on the person who is exiting is enough, and in some cases, the moving of the energy of the bodies through use of swirls and various contact points, can be the form that is used. We will clarify here that all Bodies are interconnected in many ways, so the Healing that is offered without Physicality does not mean it will not help the Physical Bodies. And not all Physical contact is a form of Healing, but is often forms of Treatment. For instance, the Emergency Room of a Hospital is mostly-filled with Treatments, not Healing. Healing often comes later. [DavidB] Someone asked me to pose this question: "What makes one healer more effective than another?" RESONANCE. There is no Healing between a Healer and The Wounded without Resonance. This is why even the most "whackadoodle" of false healers can bring about such "miracles" (which is a term to describe false or misunderstood forms of Beauty from Chaos) because there is Resonance between the two fragments. And it is why the consistency of even the most powerful Healers cannot facilitate Healing for everyone, because there must be Resonance. Resonance can only come through Empathy, which is built from Experience, which may or may not always come from within the current lifetime. In other words, one can only truly facilitate Healing for that which he or she has already healed within himself or herself, even if that healing came in other lives. We know this is a rather broad topic, but we think we have covered enough tonight for some provocation of thought and exploration that may shed insight into the experience of Healing and Wounding. We will conclude here. Goodnight to each of you. Goodbye.
  2. OMW - Jan 15, 2011 - Doing Vs Being Channeled by Troy Tolley Michael: Hello to each of you. We are here. We will share what we can in the context of "Doing Vs Being" as Troy has titled this exchange. The emphasis in this exchange will be on your Centering, and your Part of Centering, as well as a quick assessment of yourself and your relationship to your life, and then some solutions or tools for fulfilling your intentions. First, it is to be understood that no fragment is without all Centers. There are 7 Primary Centers, which correlate to what you may know as the 7 Chakras. There are more Chakras/Centers beyond these 7, but they are not developed enough during a Physical Incarnation to be of any practical use as a tool, though they are used and active. Those Centers/Chakras beyond the 7 come into more relevant play in Higher Planes. Though Chakra and Center are interchangeable terms for the most part, we will point out that CENTER is very different in meaning than CHAKRA. A Chakra describes the vortex of energy that acts as a kind of medium, gateway, or filter for certain energies. A Center describes your "Center of Gravity," or how your particular Personality has learned to function, be balanced, and navigate through a lifetime. The correlations between Centers and Chakras and the Overleaves can get confusing for some students, but there is a consistent correlation that we will not have to get into today. As the soul ages, the emphasis over the lifetimes moves from Doing to Being. This is not an easy experience to have while in a Young-Mature World. What tends to happen for the older soul in this paradigm is an internal conflict between that Being and Doing. The internal conflict is a begrudging attitude toward the demands of DOING, while walling up, protecting, and nurturing a rather fragile and unstable sense of BEING. [Brian_W] Michael, could you briefly describe your definitions for "Being" and "Doing" to ensure we are all on the same page? Michael: Yes, we will define BEING as a state of self-acceptance, and DOING as the action that manifests/represents BEING. For many of you, there can often be a disconnect between those two qualities so that you are DOING and BEING in very separate or managed dimensions. There are four Qualities of State that every fragment must exist within while on any Plane: DOING, BEING, HAVING, and KNOWING. These correspond to the Axes. Though the focus here is between Being and Doing, we will bring Having and Knowing into the equations that we may share for insight. Before the Old Soul cycles off, it will have found a way to bring resolution to the division between Doing and Being, regardless of any environment, imprinting, society, etc. That resolution can only come from the Integrity that develops between Doing and Being. When that resolution comes, there is very little difference between Doing and Being. The first step, then, is developing the Integrity, which is simply another word for developing Honesty, or bringing in The Truth as the bridge between those two states. Two additional developments MUST be brought into the equation for bridging two Qualities of State at some point: LOVE, and BEAUTY/Energy. In other words, every Quality of State will eventually find union/bridging through Truth, Love, and Energy. And put another way: it is only through the development of Truth, Love, Energy that one can bring Integrity, Pleasure, and Harmony to what one IS, what one HAS, what one DOES, and what one KNOWS. Until there is conscious development of those building blocks of your universe, applied to the building blocks of YOU, those Qualities of State are usually imbalanced, with one or two over-emphasized while one or more neglected. Though each building block is always in effect, it will almost always be through TRUTH that one gets started. In this case of Doing VS Being, then, the first step would be in assessing with as much honesty as possible just how closely those two states are in your life. Is what you DO representative of what you ARE? Is what you ARE nurtured by what you DO? For most of our students, we would say that approximately 25% of the life that is ACTION/DOING actually represents BEING, and that the sense of BEING is starving, so to speak, because the DOING is not nurturing/feeding BEING. This does NOT mean that because you work in a factory and are an Old Soul, then you are not representing your Old Soulness, or that your interest in the latest fashion does nothing for your Old Soulness. This does NOT mean that because you meditate every morning, do yoga at night, and smile pleasantly with pretty thoughts all day that you are honestly representing your Old Soulness, either. So the key here is not in WHAT you Do, but HOW and WHY you Do. The WHAT of your Doing is inherent in the Doing, but the HOW and WHY is the color and meaning of the What. We realize we are throwing out various familiar terms in correspondences that may be confusing, so we will share that now, so you can copy it, and refer to it as we continue: BEING = Inspirational Axis = Emotional Centering = WHO DOING = Action Axis = Moving Center = WHAT HAVING = Expression Axis = Intellectual Center = HOW KNOWING = Assimilative = Neutral/Instinctive Center = WHY One does not have to be DOING the obvious or the cliche as a means to represent BEING, or to have Integrity between the two. The key is in the Honesty between the Being and Doing, which means how much of YOU is there in what you DO. Because YOU are a spectrum, or because your Being is a spectrum, "YOU" will always be in what you DO, so the question must be even more specific: how much of the True You, True Personality, is in what you DO. Here is where things get interesting. Because YOU are in everything you DO, and because the universe is built from Truth, Love, Energy, it is impossible for your Actions to betray your Being. This is not to say that your Actions represent your True Being, but that they ALWAYS represent your Being. In some way. Everything you DO is to serve BEING. This means that even the most begrudging, routine, tedious, and terrifying tasks that you take on are somehow representing some part of your Being. So the process of bringing Integrity to bridge your Being and Doing is the process of examining exactly how what you are DOING NOW represents you now, so that you know just how far you have to go in bringing resolution. The way to do this is to ask yourself: HOW and WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO? This question can be contextualized so that you ask this in the various contexts of your life. HOW do I do my job? WHY do I do my job? HOW do I manage this relationship? WHY am I in this relationship? Or to keep the wording consistent: HOW do I do this relationship? Why do I do this relationship? This questioning can extend into areas that seem to lack Doing, as well: HOW do I NOT do a relationship? WHY do I NOT do a relationship? Asking the HOW and the WHY of your DOING gives you feedback as to where you are with yourself, and thus gives you some indication as to your current sense of BEING. To start this line of questioning, we would suggest looking at the most problematic and the most pleasant ends of your life. Before we move on, we will open the floor to discussion about what we have shared so far, starting with a question to each of you about how his line of questioning might work for you. There is no need for a queue. *****FLOOR OPEN****** [Geraldine] I'm in a fairly content and balanced state right now -- my doing is in balance with my being to a large extent -- I was much more chaotic when younger. I feel that I'm comfortable in my Old Soul late years post-5th IM. Michael: GERALDINE- we would agree with your assessment. The areas where your Doing and Being remain incongruent are specific to when your Doing is Reactionary, rather than Responsive. One way of understanding DOING as a spectrum can be through polarities of RESPONSE/ACTION vs IRRESPONSIBLE/REACTION. [Brian_W] Michael, I wanted to ask questions on how do I study for my important exam, how do I get into a relationship with a young woman that has recently caught my attention, why am I too generous with time and money, but I think the root of it comes down to: "Why don't I have sustained self-confidence in myself and my abilities?" [Brian_W] Instead of asking "how can I piece my family back together," perhaps I should be asking "why do I feel it is my personal responsibility to piece my family back together, when it seems the others only want to fight" Michael: BRIAN - asking the specific questions of DOING when asking your question will help bring some clarity. For instance: "HOW do I help heal my family?" and "WHY do I help heal my family?" This would help reveal insights that can help you then to make decisions reflective of your True Being. [Brian_W] and for my upcoming exam? Michael: Start with the question that might reveal the most insight. In this, it might be the WHY. [Brian_W] why do I procrastinate and allow myself to become distracted... Michael: Brian, we will suggest the means for your own lines of questioning, using an example, but it would be your responsibility to continue that questioning into other areas. If our example is not clear, we will help to clarify, but we cannot and will not do the extended work, of course. [Brian_W] ok [Diane_H] Brian, the bigger question might be: "why are you taking this class?" Michael: Asking yourself "HOW do I study for an upcoming exam?" and "WHY do I study for an upcoming exam?" can shed light on the Integrity there may be, not be, between your Doing and Being. And then you would recalibrate your choices and actions from there. Your first line of questioning would be in the questioning of the HOW and WHY of NOW. [Brian_W] Diane, that one I believe at least began with what Michael has referred to as "the search," and I will have to ask for later clarification on that, as it is true, but I often feel like I'm trying to search for an unknown object in the dark. I know it exists, but nothing else of it Michael: BACK TO BRIAN - the rest of your questions can be addressed in the same way: HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman? WHY do I get into a relationship with a woman? Both being asked in the context of NOW. [Brian_W] Could you explain what you mean by "the context of NOW?" Michael: This would reveal your motivations and your methods, so that you may then alter them to be more reflective of your True Being. "The context of NOW" would be literal. NOW. [Brian_W] oh, okay Michael: In the case of your seeking a relationship to a woman that you do not already have a relationship with, you would be asking of your NOW in the sense of your what your experiences have been up to NOW. HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman is asked not as an instructional question, but as an assessment. As in: how have I got into relationships, up to now? Why have I got into relationships, up to now? Or to keep the wording consistent: how do I get into relationships, up to now? etc. HOW and WHY do I get into relationships? [Brian_W] the HOW is a very good question, the WHY, ... thankfully the answer to that is starting to shift Michael: Let this first line of questioning be revealing and insightful before the more instructional questioning. [Brian_W] ok, thank you Michael Michael: In your case, it might be that the HOW and the WHY might be answered as "HOW I do relationships is eagerly," and "WHY I do relationships is because I want to feel special, loved, and important." Of course, you may have your own responses, but if these were your responses, then you would want to ask if those are honestly reflective of your BEING. The honesty here is VITAL. We cannot emphasize this enough. [Brian_W] Does it all tie back into my self-dep and self-confidence issues? It seems to be the one thing that I am hearing almost screaming into my ears on this one Michael: And by honesty here, we mean that if the answer is YES to the question, then that is not a bad or wrong answer, even if you wish it were not true. If the answer is "YES, I own the fact that my Being right now is eager to be loved, wanted, special, and important to someone, anyone," then that is far more Integrity than the denying of that. And this is key. For every one of you. By HONEST, by INTEGRITY, we do not mean wishful thinking, or idealizing your responses. In this case for you, Brian, if the honest answer were yes to the question of integrity, then you have brought yourself to a state of self-acceptance that transforms your BEING toward a wholeness that would never come from your denying your current state of being. That Integrity then carries forth into your Doing, and the very act of your accepting those current qualities in the self helps to alleviate your emphasis on someone else having to do that work of accepting you, because you now have the foundation. We think we have responded enough to help bring some insight to the questions you may ask of yourself, and will move on to respond to others. [Brian_W] thank you [Diane_H] I ask myself "why" all the time about the big picture stuff (like why do I want to have a healing practice), but when I look at it, there are many smaller things I do in fear mode. And the "how" of what I'm doing seems to be more confused than anything else. I waver between expressing and hiding. Michael: DIANE - we would say that the fearful undertones to some of your actions within your fulfilling more of your Being are because of some of the lesser-beautiful motivations that you have not fully embraced. And this goes back to what we just shared with Brian: that your answers do not have to be beautiful, noble, or glamorous; they need only be honest. "WHY do I have a healing practice" might actually include the response, "because I am more important than I was led to believe I am, and I want to share that importance in a way that proves it." We SUGGEST our responses to prompt your own, but we are not doing the work for any of you. We say this so that you do not presume we are reading something concrete to you. These are merely suggestions; relevant, but not conclusive. [Diane_H] Wow, ok [Diane_H] I was thinking of embracing the fact that I want to be self-sufficient, ie. make money doing it. Michael: What happens when one does not include the lesser-beautiful aspects of honesty is that those remain like cracks in the foundation of our fulfillments. They will constantly need tending, covering, repair, and monitoring, and this can be exhausting. [Diane_H] I hear ya Michael: Yes, Diane, and the lesser-beautiful parts of your honesty in the WHY can help in securing the HOW. For instance, if one wants to use one's healing skills as a means of self-sufficiency, but one has not embraced the lesser-beautiful motivations behind the intention, then that degree of instability is built into the foundation of fulfillment. So the foundation of fulfillment, or the DOING, will be reflective of the BEING AS IT IS. [Diane_H] Way to poke holes in my Arrogance, I like it. Michael: Keep in mind that the lesser-beautiful is alongside the beautiful. To embrace either to the exclusion of the other would be to build upon shaky foundations. So to return to DIANE specifically, it is not that your only motivation is of lesser-beauty, but that it is fair and honest to own every part of your motivation. [Diane_H] So is it accurate to say that whatever we'd like to do, accepting our "higher" or "lower" intentions is the key to fulfillment, and doing it regardless of what imprinting, society, outside forces say otherwise? Michael: Diane, you have just described the difference between True Peace, and True Defense. If your life is motivated by "in spite of," or "despite," or "regardless of," etc, then your motivation is laced with defense. However, the key to the peace is in allowing that, letting that simply be a part of the equation, not something to rise above and escape or make up for. [Diane_H] Ah, ok Michael: TO ALL OF YOU: In short, NO PERSONALITY or ESSENCE has completely noble reasons for what to DO. EVER. [AnnH] lol!! [Diane_H] :) [Martha3] for sure! [Brian_W] hehe, ah, blind idealism for the fail [AnnH] (this realist has always suspected that) [Martha3] I know that is true for me [Geraldine] Well, I know we have "what's in it for me" beneath everything -- didn't realize Essence was similar :) Michael: By "noble," we mean that there is no such thing as selflessness, sacrifice, or any other of the positive poles of the Chief Features, which are held as indicators that one is somehow "higher" in intentions. We can say this because, as we have said in many instances regarding the nature of "higher" and "positive," that the higher or more positive the pole or intention, the greater its capacity for including the lower and negative. [Diane_H] Interesting Michael: The lower or more negative, the more investment in exclusive, conclusive, and/or elusive. Higher is a sphere, where as Lower is a bowl. [Martha3] I like that, good image for understanding Michael: If you can see positive/higher, and lower/negative in those terms, it can help you to see how the movement through life is either a constant emphasis on the fear not to spill what one has put in the bowl, or the confidence in the embrace of whatever is collected and homogenized in the sphere. [Geraldine] Life is a blender [Maureen] :) [Maureen] ribitt [AnnH] This is ringing a lot of bells! [Martha3] yep Michael: Even the Transcendental and Infinite in your history found their way toward representing their Entity or Tao by embracing the totality of their Being and Doing, and building upon that, not in spite of, because of, regardless of, or despite. The one who is referred to as Buddha built upon his ignorance and naivety, his sheltered and privileged life, using it as a means of contrast and choice, rather than as a showcase for shame and guilt as fuel. So, Diane, if you look to the darker motivations of your intent for providing healing, you would find more room for light in your progress, if you will. [Diane_H] Got it, thank you. Michael: This would resolve your divide between expressing and hiding, because you will not have shame or pride to hide. [AnnH] I am content with my finances and security. My intent is to finish my novel this year, but where I have conflict is WHY I do do (I think). I'm conflicted between doing because I choose to and for my job. Being judged. Also problems with the HOW. (I am also content with how I'm approaching losing weight) Michael: ANN - we think that you have gained insight from the responses to others, but we can say some things to you directly regarding your comments. First, the HOW of your writing your novel is not a mystery: you simply must DO it. It is the WHY that holds you back. Asking the question of WHY in the Now, even if speculative, is insightful. "WHY do I write this novel?" may help you to not only focus the content of the novel, but give you satisfaction in the fulfillment. This WHY has many answers, and it is from those answers that you can either stand them all together, or choose one that feels the most motivating. Your WHY has answers that we can suggest as: "Because I can." or "Because I want to." or "Because it would be the most personal and meaningful representation of my doing something that is entirely for and from myself." We think there is insight in the last suggestion. [AnnH] yes Michael: For the most part, many of your WHYs of life have been answers like "because I have to," or "because I need to," or "because I'm expected to," or "just because," or any other number of responses that leave your part of the equation as the most passive part. Writing your novel would be the single, most representative DOING that reflects everything about your BEING that you know is true of you, and the most proactive, active part of an equation you may ever have felt. The fears that undermine your actions are related to the fears of what you may find out about yourself in the process, but those fears are natural and only seeking to protect you from activating an equation that contradicts every other equation that has worked "just fine" for you. [AnnH] When I read that I keep thinking, ah, finally, then I'll be left alone Michael: Ann, that is insightful: it means that part of your Integrity would include the honesty that you are motivated, in part, by the craving to escape the confines of routine and authority that does not support your Being. Or rather, your sense of True Being. Of course, it DOES already support your Being, but only a part of it. For you, Ann, you are the only reason you would not finish your novel, and you are the only reason it will be finished. This is a terrifying process of owning your life in a way that means it is ALL UP TO YOU. And however resentful of your routines you may have come to be, they reflect the part of your Being that does not mind others being available for blame and cause. [AnnH] ouch, yes Michael: Owning that, first, is the acceptance of that darker part of the Being that is there, so that you can get on with the business of being more than that. [Bobbbi3] Much of what I enjoy DOING for myself might appear to be escapist to some. And DOING for others is still rewarding after all these years. [Bobbbi3] Rephrasing: Why do I find so much pleasure in escapism (sleep, dvd's, tv, novels) and also in DOING for others? Michael: BOBBI - you have worked hard to embrace the darker aspects of your motivations and your Being over time, and the very same things that worked to fulfill your need for escapism are now the very things that fulfill your more adventurous, exploratory, and curious self that was always there. [Bobbbi3] How so? Michael: You moved through a state of honesty with the self that has brought integrity to your choices, so that now, for the most part, if you choose these "escapist" activities or non-activities, you choose them because you want to, not because you need to. [Bobbbi3] They seem to bring True Peace. Michael: There is a fine line between ESCAPISM and TRUE REST, or Healing. [Bobbbi3] And much joy! [Bobbbi3] Thank you so much! [Bobbbi3] And I have retired, after all... Michael: The only reason they were seen as "escape" in the past is because you had the impression that you should be making up for the time and space you use up by being alive, so any time time not dedicated to that was seen as guilty escape from the responsibility of proving your value to the world. [Bobbbi3] much imprinting/conditioning Michael: There came a revelation at one point, and one that is still being embraced, that you HAVE A RIGHT to BE, just as much as any other, and that there are no conditions or standards against which any person needs to prove himself or herself in order to enjoy that right. [Bobbbi3] I finally got that from your teachings! [Bobbbi3] Knowing I have a place in an entity in a cadre...I AM! Michael: The same could be said for your DOING for others. In the past, this may have been motivated by your need to make up for your being alive at all, but now it is because it just feels good. It is okay to care enough for others because you want to, not because you need to, and this has translated into even greater care for yourself along the way. [Bobbbi3] Many thanks. Michael: You have a place wherever you are, regardless of any non-physical, intangible place beyond this life. You belong where you are, because you are there. You belong where you wish to be or go, because you want to or need to. There is never a context in which one does not belong, if one is there. BELONG does not translate into SUPPOSED TO BE, however. [Bobbbi3] I see. Michael: For example, to say that a child in an abusive household belongs there does not mean he is supposed to be there. It simply means that, wherever one is, one IS. You are never alone, because YOU are there, and you belong to you before any other context, which translates into the RIGHT TO BE. There is a reason our universe is so fragmented from TAO all the way down to the various sub-personalities of Personality, and of Personalities to Essence, and Essences to Entity to Cadre to Energy Ring, etc. Because there is never a dimension beyond Tao wherein one is alone. The most-isolated fragment on the planet still has "himself," whether that be a sense of division within the self, or a sense of self and Essence. The craving for wholeness comes from that vast fragmentation, and the embrace of your dimensions, or fragments, is the process. The process of return to TAO. [Bobbbi3] Alone is the worst feeling. Michael: Alone is a natural feeling. Loneliness, however, is a distortion of Aloneness. Aloneness is a part of every fragment's evolution, however, loneliness is not necessary. To return to our simplified imagery, Aloneness is the sphere; Loneliness is the Bowl. [Bobbbi3] Right! Michael: No fragment can get to know himself without Aloneness. Aloneness is the opportunity to like yourself, care for yourself, be yourself, etc. Loneliness is the rejection of that opportunity. [Bobbbi3] I really do see that. [Bobbbi3] Now. [Bobbbi3] 8) [Martha3] My intent is to finish my screenplay, with the goal of being able to leave my corporate job, and I am concentrating on being myself as much as is feasible in a corp setting. Problem areas are in getting my teenager to handle her responsibilities without having to fight over it. She wears me out Michael: MARTHA - your comments prompt us to remind you that your intentions are greatly motivated by a fantasy solution to many problems. [Martha3] :) Michael: The fact that you know this is Good Work. [Martha3] Prince Charming isn't coming with a winning lottery ticket? Michael: What you do with what you know is important, however, so it is helpful for you to occasionally check yourself in terms of how much pressure you are putting on your creative efforts to be your "ticket out." Knowing that this is part of your motivation is healthy, but to forget that you are also doing this because it is simply what you love to do may undermine your energy and efforts. [Martha3] good point Michael: The same could be said for nearly every other demand upon your energy: you do most of it because you love. That is not the same thing as "love to do it," but because you LOVE. Your exasperating and exhausting time with your child is fair to describe as something you do not love to do, but that you do because you love. [Martha3] yes Michael: This is one of those finer examples of the lesser-beautiful and beautiful being embraced, rather than one or the other defining the DOING. Your BEING is reflected in your DOING, and the WHY of your Doing is because you LOVE, or try to love. This is often forgotten. [Martha3] not sure I completely understand what you are saying Michael: Though we see you have moments of sudden, emotional clarity that bring tears to how much you do love the ingredients of your life, even as you work hard to move them into higher ideals. As we said for each of you, your DOING either REFLECTS YOUR BEING, or your BEING is manifested in your DOING. As one grows in consciousness, the Doing moves from reflection of a part of your Being, and into manifestation of your True Being. So when we said that your Being is reflected in your Doing, we mean to point out that what you do is reflecting your Love, and knowing this is important to your then moving toward wholeness. That wholeness would be the acceptance that what you do (that you do not want to do) is reflecting your capacity to love, so that when you then do what you love, such as your screenwriting, you are fully present, instead of thinking it is only to escape what you (think you) do not want to do. [Martha3] I understand [Maureen] I think I'm 'kinda' where Geraldine is at - sort of - I have some days that are better than others - but generally I am so much better than I used to be at Doing and Being that it is hard to know what I could specifically be changed. Michael: MAUREEN, we would agree with your assessment. One of the last areas for you to let into the wholeness is the tendency toward self-consciousness, or self-monitoring. Sometimes this takes you away from the experiential and into a kind of autopiloting. A heightened awareness without a complete connection to the vehicle, much like driving from point A to point BE, but not remembering the trip. That was a typo, and not a clever pun on our part, by the way, but it works. [Maureen] :) Michael: But this is minimal, Maureen, and we mention it only for the sake of suggestion. [Maureen1] How do I move away from 'auto-pilot'? Michael: MAUREEN, by embracing it. There is no other way. By this we mean that you first know that it is happening when it is happening, and then decide from there whether it is something necessary for concern. Using the analogy of driving from point a to point b, was it really necessary to see the view along the way? Did you arrive safely? Did you tend to anything along the way that was important, such as avoiding a crash or taking the correct turns? Realizing when you are on auto-pilot is one thing, but then you can decide whether it is necessary to be present, or if it is okay to tune out to other dimensions along the way. It is not the autopilot that is the dividing factor, but the self-consciousness that might come from it. The self-consciousness can move to self-awareness when the conscious decision as to whether you want or need to be present is then made. Sometimes your presence is important and you will not want to afford a self-consciousness, and other times your presence can be fragmented into various tasks. Letting that become your choice is the step toward wholeness. [Geraldine] Inserting this for AFTER Maureen. First, I do not see a question posted by Nicholas aka baby-love. And, then as a final question, I would like to ask on behalf of Troy if there is anything you might offer him in terms of his doing versus being with regards to his underlying issues that might be causing his scheduling problems. Any comments that might help him with his intention to get on track and stay on track. Michael: GERALDINE, we think an entire session is in store for dedication to Troy's questions, and questions for Troy, so he will schedule this with you where we can then focus on the issues of interest. [Geraldine] Thank you Michael: Before we move on, what would Nicholas like to say? [baby-love] I am fairly content w/ the areas of my life right now in terms of BEING and DOING...as I am moving through my 4IM, I find that I am re-discovering my BEING and what DOINGS support my new clarity [baby-love] My intention this year is to move to San Diego...the WHY of it, is to be nearer to my ET, Viktor and the ocean:-) [baby-love] I guess I don't have a question other than what tools do you suggest can help me to continue lessening the gap between my BEING and DOING? Michael: NICHOLAS, the WHY of your intention also includes "because I deserve this." The concept of DESERVE is important here because this is another example of RIGHTS. [baby-love] and I want it! "I have a right to live wherever, with whomever, and however I choose and want." Michael: This is because so much of your life, up to the point of your dive into the 4th Internal Monad, was spent guided by SHOULDS, and now you are guided by COULDS. [baby-love] yes, indeed! [Brian_W] so its okay to admit selfishness and wanting something, as long as we keep in mind that getting it is another story? Michael: BRIAN, it is always "okay" to admit to selfishness, but we point out that while there is never an act that purely selfless, it is not always selfish. Selfish and lack of Selflessness are not the same thing. Selfish, in this context, would be a state that might include "regardless of; in spite of; despite;" etc, whereas lack of selflessness simply means that it is okay to admit that it makes you feel good, that you want it, that you gain by doing it, etc. It is "okay" to admit all of that. Admitting that your most selfless of acts actually feel good and that is why you do it, or admitting that you are partially-motivated by a kind of defiance, are all Good Work. Often, there may even be a mix. TO CONTINUE ON. And to work toward concluding our time with you: As you can see, each of you would do well to examine whether you are inclusive of both the darker and lighter, less-beautiful and beautiful, of your intentions. Some of you have emphasized the beautiful and have dismissed or did not realize the value in embracing the less-beautiful. Some of you have emphasized the less-beautiful and did not think you had a right to include the more beautiful, or the lightness of your intentions. So keeping an eye to your intentions in terms of the whole of their motivations can help you to free up energy for fulfillment of those intentions. In terms of CENTERING, your habitual Centering and PART of CENTER can give you clues as to why you have your intentions in the first place: Every Center corresponds to a BASIC RIGHT of PERSONALITY and ESSENCE. The three Lower Centers tend to be of those that an individual will develop habitual uses. Even when one uses a Higher Center, it can never be the habitual Center. The Higher Centers are not designed to be Centers of Gravity for the functions of the body and personality, but only to be *experienced* by the body and personality. Tears, Pleasure, and Laughter are physical manifestations of the Higher Centers. Imagine life lived in tears, pure pleasure, and constant laughter. In theory, this sounds delightful; in reality, that person is "crazy." Therefore, we will point to the Lower Centers as a helpful insight into your motivations. Your PRIMARY CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most-easily SUSTAIN, which means that even without effort, you work to sustain that Right. Your PART of CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most seek to fight for, to defend, to clarify, and this usually takes effort, or is often challenged. The Center that is least-used is one that you NEED the most, as in, you often forget that this is a Right that is missing in your life, needs attention, etc. EMOTIONAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to LOVE and BE LOVED. INTELLECTUAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to SPEAK or HEAR the TRUTH. MOVING CENTERING = your RIGHT to CHOOSE, or your RIGHT to BE FREE, to take action, or do what you want to do. Looking to your own Centering then can lend insight into your motivations, consciously or subconsciously. For instance, one who is Emotionally-Centered, Intellectual Part, might be one who naturally Loves, finds it easy to love, and accepts that she is motivated by desires to love and be loved. It is a given that this is an important part of life, a Right. The Intellectual Part would indicate that this fragment may find herself in positions where speaking up, saying the truth, sharing the truth, her truth, or being honest, is often challenged, an "issue," a Right that must often be stood up for. It would also indicate that this is an area of necessary refinement so that her truth can be heard, and not just something shouted into the world, or imposed, in contrast to some whose are hidden and unspoken. What this fragment, then, might find as a missing key, or a Right that is not practiced, and often forgotten, is the Right to Choose, to Do, to take Action, to be Free. Looking to the PART can give insight into your motivations, and looking to the neglected Centering can give insights into what key might be brought into the equation for fulfillment of your intentions. For instance, this person would forget that her secret resource is in her DOING at all. That she must DO what she wants to do, in order to practice her Right to Freedom, instead of getting caught up in the battle for only protecting her Right to Speak/Hear The Truth. Do each of you understand and find relevance to your Centering? [Maureen1] Yes :) [AnnH] Yessir. Michael: Keep in mind that these are indications of your habits, not something static, and these may change over time, or in certain contexts. [Geraldine] Yes (but I'm Emotional/Intellectual; so I got a bigger explanation) [Diane_H] yep [Bobbbi3] yes [baby-love] yep, absolutely! [Geraldine] Martha is away for a moment Michael: To conclude our little group tonight, we will synopsize: ONE) clarify your intentions TWO) own the whole of your motivations for those intentions, including the darker elements that may not seem fair or "good." They are important parts that, if ignored, may be your undoing. THREE) What you do ALWAYS reflects at least a part of your BEING, but when you choose what to do, you manifest your True Being. FOUR) Understanding the WHY and HOW of your doing can lend insight into the wholeness of your motivations, and then you can embrace that, or alter it. FIVE) Your habitual Centering, Part of Centering, and neglected Centering (or an easier terminology would be your Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Centering) give great insight, not only into your Intentions, but into your basic motivations for every action. SIX) your Being and Doing do not have to be exclusive Quality of States, but brought into harmony to widen your playground of life. And, eventually, they will be. We know there is much more we could discuss in the context of this topic, but we think this is plenty of food for thought, or for doing, and this is a start. Good evening to each of you. We will conclude here. Goodbye.
  3. May 16, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel You and your attitude [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the topic to be that of Attitudes as they are defined within our teaching. Of course, there are 7 Attitudes, as there are 7 of every other Overleaf in our system. The 7 Attitudes are the Neutral or Assimilative PRAGMATIST, the Inspirational Stoic and Spiritualist, the Expressional Skeptic and Idealist, and the Actional Cynic and Realist. The Attitudes are specifically your personal means to interpret reality. The Attitudes could easily be said to be The 7 Basic Philosophies, as much of what is our more complete system now has been found isolated in various teachings throughout the ages. Each Attitude can easily find a correlation of a philosophy, which can shed a great deal of light on your personal Attitude. The Attitude could be said to be the “pivot” or “hinge” within our Personality System around which all other facets of your Personality move. Because the Attitude is intrinsically linked to your Intellect, the Attitude can “make or break” your sense of peace, trust, wholeness, etc. Whether you are Intellectually Centered or not, you still have an Intellect, and that Intellect works hard to interpret and make sense of reality. So, too, does your Attitude. It will go a long way toward freeing you from the traps of the Attitude and Intellect if you understand that it is not necessarily “the point” to “make sense” of reality, because literally, it is the opposite: your senses MAKE reality. Though we say your Attitude “interprets” reality, it may be more effective to understand that your Attitude “filters” reality. Both are valid descriptions. Though an Attitude is far from an imposition, it CAN be a limitation if you find you are not able to function within your ;particular Attitude's full spectrum of use. It can easily be said that, from the absolute worst struggles, to the most trivial of frustrations, these experiences are directly a reflection of how you are using your Attitude. When your Attitude is in its Negative Pole, regardless of what that may be, you have determined that you have completed your need for input for your basic philosophical stance. When the Negative Pole of the Attitude is in control, reality loses its creativity and flexibility, and instead becomes a tangled mess that must be understood immediately, even if the means to do so have not even come to pass. We can speak generally of Attitudes because the basic experience is quite consistent; it is the HOW of it all that is different among them. For instance, an Idealist in the Negative Pole and a Cynic in the Negative Pole will both share the struggle of trying to understand something within a limitation of input, but the Idealist will “naively” bumble his way through, while the Cynic will use “denigration” to destroy anything outside his comprehension. In the case of the Cynic, we do not mean an attempt to literally destroy, but that the Cynic will actively fight to remove any contradictions from his determined perception. In the case of each Axis of Attitude, you will find when they are in the Negative Pole, the reaction of the Attitude is to eliminate the Positive Pole experiences. When the Stoic is “resigned,” he will use inspiration to lead others into resignation, to validate his own perceptions. The Spiritualist will use inspiration to impose his beliefs on others as strongly as possible, to remove the need for verifying his perceptions. The Skeptic will simply express strong suspicions, riling others into an insecure space of perception, to remove the need for investigation. The Idealist will naively take on lofty goals and intentions, either with or without awareness, setting himself up for failure, so as to remove the experience of coalescence, which is the bringing together of parts to make a whole. The Cynic will actively remove all that contradicts his own determined perception. The Realist will insist that her perceptions are based in fact, even against the strongest of feedback that she is inaccurate, so as to remove her from having to be Objective. In addition, the Pragmatist will continue doing things, thinking about things, expressing things, exactly as they have worked for her to her satisfaction, regardless of the fact that input is dictating that there are more practical ways for the same things. The reason the Negative Pole is so strongly interested in eliminating the Positive Pole experiences is because the Attitude is the “brother or sister” to the Chief Features. We speak of these traits with anthropomorphic descriptions, only for the sake of relating, but we do not wish for you to mistake this means of description as if these parts of you are a separate consciousness. We do not say that they are, nor do we imply that they are. Because of our limitation of time, we will quickly point out what we believe may be the most important concern for your understanding of the Attitudes. Since the Attitude can be your prison or your means to complete freedom, we believe that when you are struggling in any area of your life, the first place to look would be to your Attitude. In understanding your Attitude, you would clearly be able to see that you may be in the Negative Pole, but the fastest and most effective means to move yourself out of it, is simply to choose a different angle of perception. Since the Attitude, while in the Negative Pole, so intently seeks to remove the experience of the Positive Pole of your Attitude, the “trick” is to use the Positive Pole of the Attitude that shares your Axis. If the effort is made, within minutes your life can change; or at least your attitude toward it, which can then lead to changing your life. When the Spiritualist is lost in her Beliefs and continues to find she is blocked from real, fulfilling Verification of her perceptions, it can free her to “slide” to the Positive Pole of Stoicism, which would be Tranquility. When Belief is in control, there is usually a strong need to get others to share in the belief, even if you, yourself have not Verified its place in your life. When the Spiritualist slides to Tranquility, she relaxes and surrenders gently to her perceptions. This then allows her to Verify things for herself, instead of finding others to do it for her. On the other hand, the Stoic may have given up on his life, resigning, which is a passive stance to the life. If he were to slide to Verification, he would be able to find that much of what he has resigned himself to is not even valid anymore as an imposition. We may not be able to go through all of the Attitudes with examples, but we will note that the Pragmatist has the ability to slide to ANY of the other Attitudes as a means to free himself from Dogma. We will now take any questions you may have, so we can respond to you, rather than use your time teaching what may already be available in print. QUESTIONS [MDFSage_Val] Can you describe a “spectrum of use” for an Idealist, or is this more an individual fragment thing/issue? [M_Entity] An Idealist lives within the spectrum of being “cursed” and “blessed” with the constant want for improvement. The Idealist has such a wider vision of most things that he can see patterns where others cannot. Within those patterns, he can also see how they can be improved, manipulated, or altered for the better. The struggle then comes from the Idealist being able to see the big picture, but not putting the effort into defining the STEPS it will take to get there. Therein lies the spectrum from Naivety to Coalescence. An Idealist can see that he has potential to run a marathon, but instead of taking the steps to prepare, he simply, naively runs in the marathon, until he collapses from the pain he could have avoided. [Suzanne] Michael, How would be best for an idealist & a spiritualist to relate to each other, one expresses while the other inspires? [M_Entity] The Spiritualist will always interpret relationships in terms of how inspiring they are, while the Idealist will interpret the relationships in terms of how much improvement is coming from them. [Suzanne] Rather interesting, as it can compliment. [M_Entity] If the Spiritualist feels her relationships are not inspiring, or that she is not inspiring, she will lose interest. The Idealist must feel as if the relationships are somehow improving each other, or he will feel they are not worth it. [Suzanne] Thank you, I understand better now [M_Entity] We are using pronouns randomly, for the sake of grammar. We are not intending anything to be specifically assigned to a gender. [Suzanne] Understood that too, thanks. [M_Entity] The Spiritualist could be said to be “cursed” and “blessed” with the philosophy that everything has potential. Within that spectrum, you will find the experiences ranging from blind faith or belief to valid verification of those potentials. We will point out one last point for your consideration before concluding tonight. When you are in the Negative Pole of your Attitude, you may find you are behaving more and more like the Attitude sharing your Axis, or attracting, or attracted to, those who share your Axis. This is your inherent move toward balance in perception and even if this is done without awareness, it manages, at least, to continue to give the option of choosing how you interpret your reality. So, an Idealist may tend to be very critical and skeptical as a means to balance his Idealism; the Spiritualist may find she is becoming less and less emotional and more passive as she seeks balance for her Beliefs. We shared as much as we could within your time allotted. We have much more to say about this topic, of course. We will conclude here. Good Night to all of you.
  4. Michael Speaks Live Topic: “The Colony of You” November 29, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley 12:17:05 PM MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to speak of the micro versions of you that make up what you consider to be "you." There is not a single form of consciousness, in a body, or outside of a body, that is not "made up" of smaller parts, if you will. There is no "beginning" or "end" to this that we can see. We know there must be, but we have not found it, nor have we seen it. There is a kind of fractal beauty in this structure of existence, and "we" are one part of that. By extension, there is not a single one of you who are not part of something larger in context. This subject is far too vast to cover in one sitting, but a valid teaching will always strive to help one to understand the whole that is greater than the sum of the parts, while helping to understand those parts. Today we will speak only of that which makes up your existence unique to being extant. However, your Essence is also a complex structure that is built from parts. It is not merely a sphere that moves from one body to the next. It is an ever-evolving geometry that grows in complexity and beauty as experiences are gained. The same is true of "you" as a Personality and body. Understanding the dynamics of the parts that are you may not change a lot in terms of how you live, but understanding those parts can help you to feel a wholeness, an embrace, a sense of dynamic aliveness that is not simply about getting through the day. You are a complex and beautiful ecosystem of existence. How you feel about those parts makes a difference in how those parts function together as you. The health of one's body is definitely affected by material input, such as healthy or damaging diet, exercise or strain, psychological balance or stress, etc., but it is also affected by "everything" that is you, including your thoughts and feelings. WELLNESS is always directly affected by all of you and how you feel about you. ILLNESS is often a byproduct of you and how you feel about you, but not always. Illness, like any other form of scathing, can come simply because you crossed paths with it. It is simply a part of the obstacles of the Physical Plane. So while illness can be linked directly to one's choices, and intellectual and emotional processes, it is not always the case. You can get sick just because bodies can get sick. We differentiate WELLNESS from ILLNESS here because you can control your Wellness, but not always your Illness. There are many who are Ill, but uphold their Wellness. Wellness is the cohesion of the parts that make up the greater sum that is you. There are many who discover illness and there is no reversing this, leading to death, but this does not mean wellness was missing. Illness does not mean one has done something wrong, and health does not mean one is doing something right. So, the first thing we would suggest for all of our students is to focus on WELLNESS. The wholeness of you, the cohesion and inclusion of all that is you, including illness, forgetting, depression, craving, loving, hating, frustration, joy, etc., ALL of it is you. The more this truth is understood, the more one's wellness increases so that choices can be made that better serve wellness. For example, you may be frustrated and angry, but that is not ALL THAT YOU ARE. But accepting that you are frustrated and angry frees you to include the options for effectiveness and creativity. Being frustrated and angry is not the same thing as being permanently ineffective and incapable of creative problem solving. Focus on your Wellness, your greatest state of inclusion, and this is Love. This helps every part of your Being, both in terms that are limited to biology and being extant, and in terms of existence as consciousness. To return to the more specific discussion of "you" as a collection of parts, we will start with how your body is built in ways that reflect the awesome structure of the universe. Each of you as bodies can be said to be a complex organism that is built from 7 tiers that range from the simple to the wholeness that is complexity. "YOU" exist as YOU because of a vast collection of parts that work together to allow for your existence as consciousness in the media of matter. No matter what your beliefs, your ideologies, your position, your state of mind, your condition, your choices, you cannot escape that you are built from from these 7 tiers: ATOMS, MOLECULES, CELLS, TISSUES, ORGANS, SYSTEMS, and finally, the whole that is the ORGANISM. On the most basic of these tiers, it is the SERVER TIER, the Atoms. In the same way that existence could not be sustained as a Design without Servers, neither could existence in material form. Atoms are not Servers, of course, but this layer of existence in form correlates to the entire concept of Servers. The Artisan Tier is how those Atoms come together. The multitude of combinations of Atoms that become Molecules is the Artisan tier of existence in form. Molecules form into Cells that become the most basic functions and protections of an Organism. This is the Warrior tier of existence in Form. Cells create cohesive networks of Tissue that reflects the Scholar tier of existence in form. Without the vast variations of arrangements that can come from Tissue, there would not be Organs, which run the communication and dissemination systems of the Organism: the Sage tier. Organ Systems are the sympathetic and empathetic combinations of Organs working together for the benefit of the whole, or large parts of the whole. This is the Priest tier. And the wholeness that comes to be the entirety, the wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts, is the King tier. This is where consciousness comes in, and allows for some form of choice to make a difference over all other tiers, either passively or actively. This is the Organism. We wish to clarify here that your own Role or Casting does not give some hidden clue to which tier you relate to the most, or control the most in your body. The tiers we describe are correlations, but nothing more. These tiers are a reflection of the awesome order of the universe, and how it functions from the greatest contexts to the most minute. Before we continue, we will open the floor here for questions or comments on what has been shared so far. AnnaElisa: Hello, Michael! Autoimmune diseases, in which the body attacks its own organs/parts, are becoming more and more common. What makes the body attack itself and, apart from eating right and trying to live as healthy as possible in order to keep the antibodies down, what message do autoimmune disorders carry, if any, to us as individuals and as a community, and how can one learn to live with them or confront them on a deeper level? Thanks! MEntity: Nearly all autoimmune diseases are a result of chronic self-esteem issues. In the same way that the psyche of the individual will "attack" itself in constant destructive criticism, dislike, disgust, and loathing of the self, repulsion of the self, anger at not being like an ideal, eventually take a toll. AnnH: Funny how that happens. MEntity: The programming of the various lower tiers begins to follow the commands of the greater tier. For those who accepted any imprinting of self-loathing from media, caretakers, peers, or even as part of the social contract of false humility, autoimmune issues can develop. Currently, the most prevalent Chief Features among humanity's members are Arrogance and Self-deprecation, the two Chief Features most directly linked to self-esteem. Even if one does not have these Chief Features, the paradigm almost insists that you comply as a part of the social contract of protecting one's vulnerability and never allowing for incompetence or failure. You must hide who you are in some way, and only display your successes. LadTheHun: Facebook! MEntity: This has been in effect for a long time because of the Young Soul paradigm, but this is shifting. The move toward Martyrdom and Impatience will bring a different wave of ailments. TyroneT: How much does Michael have insight on the physical plane bodies and organisms and how consciousness interact with them? TyroneT: As in, what's the limit to their knowledge? TyroneT: (or what can be channeled) TyroneT: In future sessions, I'd like to delve deeply into the mechanisms of how consciousness interacts with our organic matter, but I don't know how detailed Troy can get. TyroneT: If it has to do with his working knowledge and it's possible to extend or help this, I'd like to know how (i.e. can maybe a working group's akashic knowledge help with that? or a scholar's intentional global akashic uploading) MEntity: Troy has no considerable limits in that regard. His limitations would come in the form of terminology that may relate to the medical field, or in terminology that could describe something more succinctly than a long, roundabout description. Sometimes we have to describe what could otherwise have been summed up in one term, if the limitation were not present. A simplistic example might be if we wished to convey the term "fuel" in regard to a discussion about automobiles, but had to use "the liquid that runs through the system that helps the engine move the wheels." Beyond this, we would have to say, we do not know what our limits are, or what Troy's limits are, until the questions have been asked. If one is willing to work around any discovered limitations, then they can almost always be worked around in some way. GeraldineB: I'm just making sure by requesting further explanation during this session for all of the colonies of various viruses and bacteria which inhabit our bodies and act in both what we deem to be beneficial or non-beneficial ways. So, this isn't really a Q -- just a request. MEntity: Yes, we will move into that area next. To continue... In terms of your complex colonial organism that is "you," there is a universe of existence within you that is just as much "you" as any of the tiers. While the condition and state of each tier can make a great difference in one's experience of the body, and affect how you make choices, it is on the microbial level that the effects move into the whole that is the Personality and its behaviors. We will include viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites in this. Viruses represent a kind of dimension of you that deals with the reprogramming of cells, most often in destructive ways. Though a virus can be harnessed for benefit, the virus tends to be detrimental in effect. Viruses correlate to the Inspirational Axis and tend to reflect any imbalances that one is addressing related to Inspiration and Emotion. The "common cold" is a direct and readily available example of this, in that when one does not process grief, sadness, disappointment, etc., it can show up as a "cold." The reason we correlate Viruses to the Inspirational Axis is because they often function similar to how Priests and Servers must function as a means to help one to deal with issues that have been resisted, either in personal terms or even social terms. So the concept of Viruses is reflected in greater contexts, as well, such as religion being a social virus. Bacteria would relate to the Action Axis, functioning in both effective beneficial ways and in destructive ways, all in ways that are reflected by the poles of the Roles on that Axis. Bacteria can be tyrannical and coercive, or help lead wellness and persuade beneficial choices. Of the various microbes, bacteria are the most directly relevant in terms of how the Personality functions as a baseline. The healthier one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated an individual. The more imbalanced one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more agitation, anxiousness, depression, and addictiveness. Bacteria are reflected in society in terms of how groups work together or against one another in their attempts to control, influence, and bring change. Fungi would be the Expressive of the microbes, producing spores that continue to propagate and disseminate. As with Expression Axis, this can come in the form of propagation and dissemination for the sake of itself, or for the benefit of all involved. Parasites would fall into the Assimilation Axis as this can be an umbrella term to include any of the other categories. The parasitic nature of all microbes allows for their sustained existence, "for better or worse" for the host. This subject cannot be fully explored in one exchange, but what we have shared today can help each of you to consider the dimensions of yourself that exist right here, right now, that carry your consciousness. You are not just what existed before and after this incarnation, but you exist as an entire ecosystem of consciousness in various forms. This microbial world contributes to your navigation in terms of DIET, SOCIAL EXCHANGES, STRESS, and FUNCTIONS OF THE BODY. You exist as a complex organism, that hosts other organisms, and that exists as one part of an even larger complex organism. You are atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, systems, and the entirety of these things as the complex organism. You are not just soul, not just Essence, not just Personality. You will live and die just fine without ever considering these other dimensions of existence as "you," but if you choose to explore these as a means of loving the self, as a means of bring cohesion to the parts that are you, and as a means of increasing your wellness, it is all there for you to consider. We must conclude here for tonight. We can explore this topic in more detail in further exchanges with you. Good night to each of you.
  5. OMW - Sep 16, 2012 - The Circuitry of Overleaves Channel: Troy Tolley (Note: The following Chart was referred to - the Overleaf Map.) [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin discussion on the topic of choice. Though the Overleaves function as a whole, they do function in a similar way to how one might understand how the body works. The body works as a whole, but, depending upon circumstances, various parts are of emphasis, serving the whole. Understanding your body as a network of circuitry, all entwined in a way that is inseparable, but distinct in parts, is much the same way that your Overleaves can be understood. What we will discuss, first, is the broader types of circuitry, and then move more into your variations. We are using the term "circuitry" here for this workshop, but we do not mean to imply it as a permanent term within our teaching. It is simply a way to visualize this topic. We have shared a bit about contextual circuitry in previous exchanges with our students, and we will review those, first. The Personality always leads with one Overleaf, however swiftly the circuitry is ignited to cascade throughout the rest of the Overleaves. In various circumstances and contexts, various Overleaves will lead. Those with higher Frequencies may find their circuitry "faster" than those with lower Frequencies. CONTEXTUAL CIRCUITRY The Contextual Circuitries are: PROJECT, SOCIAL, INTIMACY, and MEDITATION. These are fairly straightforward in correlation: When one is working on a project, the Personality will tend to lead with the GOAL. When one is in a social setting, one tends to lead with the ATTITUDE. When one is seeking or nurturing Intimacy, one tends to lead with the MODE. When one is in any state of meditation, one tends to lead with the Centering. This is fairly easy to validate, as well. Consider these contexts in the workplace, for instance. When a project is the priority, one will tend to find one's Goal is challenged and/or fulfilled. When one is socializing, one may find that one's perceptions, philosophy, Attitude are challenged or highlighted. When one finds any eventual bonding, it is usually secured by the Mode. When pondering any of this, the Centering is activated. It will not matter what the project is, if your Goal is Acceptance, you may find that your capacity for Acceptance is challenged and/or fulfilled. It will not matter the social situation, you may find your Spiritualism challenged, revealed, and/or highlighted. And so on. Those are the Contextual Circuits. We will get to how the Body Type, Role, Casting, and Chief features get involved. Before we move on, do each of you find a sense of validation for these contexts? Do you have any questions? [Bobby] Yes, and not yet for me [ClaireC] Ditto [Maureen] yes -- I have a sense of validation for these contexts [MariLynn] moreorless... [GeraldineB] So, far those make pretty good sense -- especially Mode -- my relationships do tend to be more in observation mode, wait and see, few strong emotions (often in surveillance) [Janet] Yes, but I have trouble imagining how my Power mode works (or doesn't work) for Intimacy [MEntity] Janet, keep in mind that Power Mode is about Being Present. It is an Expressive Overleaf, not an action, so it will be about making your presence known in some way. [Janet] I keep forgetting that. Thanks. [MEntity] It is about owning your presence, being comfortable in your skin, "being yourself." [Janet] The names of the overleaves sometimes give first impressions that aren't necessarily accurate [MEntity] In other words, how you might evolve intimacy is in how much of "you" can be present, be permitted, allowed, without shame, silencing, etc. [Maureen] Observation for me -- when I am intimate means yes -- I can truly "see" you. [AnnH] So I would expect others to "see" me? [MEntity] Ann, was that a question about Observation? [MariLynn] thank you. well clarified. [AnnH] Yes [MEntity] Then, yes. For Observation to foster intimacy, each is expected to be willing to "see," to truly see one another. As an aside, for another discussion, for intimacy to be fulfilling, it is key that one understand the Mode, as this gives insight into how you relate, and what you may expect of one who is growing closer to you. [MariLynn] I have a similar question-hard to see how aggression mode bodes well for intimacy! [MEntity] For you, MariLynn, Aggression is an exalted action Overleaf. Aggression evolves intimacy by way of constant change, movement, activity, progress. One must be able to "keep up." Intimacy is nearly impossible with someone who might wish to slow you down, tame you, or fault you for constant change of focus and directions. The Mode also describes what is expected of others, as well, as a means of relating. [MariLynn] yes! and it's been hard to find a partner who can, or wants to [MariLynn] omg, yes!! concur!! [MEntity] MariLynn, that is okay, or, at least, can be "okay." It is a "King" Overleaf, and is not intended to foster superficial intimacy and relationships. In addition to this for Observation, Sages inherently NEED to be seen, so Observation compounds the necessity for it. [MariLynn] is this also true to a large extent if someone is sage casted? [Diane_HB] I often notice myself using Observation in social situations, not necessarily Pragmatism. [MEntity] Diane, keep in mind that Observation Mode is not literal observation. You may find yourself observing others, but this is Pragmatic for you. [Diane_HB] I see [MEntity] Keep in mind that Pragmatism is a philosophy, a filter on reality. In a social situation, that will either manifest as being Practical, in your actual expression of self, in your exchanges, and in your evaluation of the worth of those exchanges, or as Dogma, stuck in routines that you have learned as a way to filter people out. [Janet] Clearly we need that future discussion about modes and intimacy. [Janet] And maybe one about social situations and attitudes. [MEntity] Dogma may show up as an inflexibility in what you find worth talking about, if you talk at all. Many with Pragmatism will be those who walk into a social situation, and then quietly, eventually, exit and wonder why the attempt was even made. Continuing. [Diane_HB] Thank you, that makes sense [MEntity] If there is a leading overleaf, then there would be a second, third, etc. in the circuit. [Bobby] Is this leading overleaf indicative of which one developed first in the life? [MEntity] Bobby, no. Centering is always developed first, in that case. It becomes the Meditative context of the life, then. [Bobby] I think what I may be referring to is for example, K's daughter, you've stated that a certain overleaf was turned on first... [MEntity] That would be one's core overleaf, and we will discuss that, next. [Bobby] lol... ok :-) [Diane_HB] I thought the centering wasn't fixed until the 2nd IM, or are those different things? [MEntity] That would be correct, Diane, except that Centering is habitual, not fixed. The Overleaves are always present, even from birth, but until a fragment is approximately 7 years old, the Personality tends to be reflective of the caretakers, not the actual overleaves. However, Centering tends to be activated upon mobility, and habitual at the close of the 2nd Internal Monad. [Diane_HB] I see [MEntity] The sequence of the Contextual Circuit would tend to be dependent upon the expectations or intentions that are fueling or distracting the leading Overleaf. For instance, to fulfill a Project, the Goal will lead, but if that Project is one that is for the sake of Relating, then the Mode might be secondary; or if it requires a lot of discussion and sharing, the Attitude may be secondary. If it is done alone, it may be from the Meditative Centering. This secondary part of the circuit is vital for how the leading part is sustained in a Positive or Negative Pole. For example, if you are obligated to a Project, the Goal will still lead, and if you are not "into it," you may distract yourself with your Attitude, or more Social contexts. If you are evolving Intimacy, but your Projects are, ultimately, what you feel defines you, then you may be leading with your Mode in that relationship, but your Goal will draw you away from the intimacy. Circuitry is always shorted out by dishonesty. By "dishonesty" we mean it in a fairly clear way: that one is denying a truth by cloaking it. For example, if you are obligated to a Project, it may be true that you are not "into it," but distract yourself with social contexts as a way to avoid that truth. Honesty would either not do the project, or it would call upon the social context as support, not distraction. When a "circuit" is weakened, so to speak, the Chief Features come into play. Can each of you think of examples for yourself? Do you understand this path of circuitry? [Bobby] and others even :-) [GeraldineB] I can remember instances, but I got a lot better quite a few years ago about not committing to something I had no intention of doing [AnnH] I think this happens constantly for me. [AnnH] Since just about everything is "supposed" to be a social context for me. [MariLynn] omg.....I DEFINITELY am in this right now. my 'project' is my obligation to be my father's FT caregiver [MariLynn] and, I am NOT into it. [Janet] Yes I see this. Work projects are often forced by circumstances rather than personal desires. But I can see this effect in past relationships as well. [Maureen] I would rather burn myself out -- rather than not complete something I`ve committed to -- which is another problem! [MariLynn] and, I can see this whole pattern as you've described....incl. the CF's have come up....esp. today [Diane_HB] I used to do this A LOT but have gotten better at being aware of it now. [MariLynn] ditto Maureen! [AnnH] From reading this, I realize in my 20s my goal was career and not so much social. [Maureen] ...which inherently shows a dishonesty with myself -- not good! [MariLynn] another ditto [MEntity] We are not speaking only to projects, but to relationships, social contexts, with secondary distractions or fuel, etc. We ask if you can see how this circuitry is at work in various contexts? [GeraldineB] I've learned to take the flack for saying "no" [Janet] Definitely can see it in all contexts. [MEntity] Even in your Meditative contexts. Can you not find your "center" because you are distracted with projects, relationships, etc? [ClaireC] Yes, Michael, and particularly how the CF's come in. [Janet] Yup. [Bobby] yes [MariLynn] yes [AnnH] yes [GeraldineB] yes [MEntity] The easiest way to determine if your circuitry, regardless of context, is weakened, is the question of whether you are DISTRACTED or ENTHUSIASTIC. [Janet] Oh! Good one! I see that right off. [MEntity] Enthusiastic here is not meant as prancing in pom poms and a perma-grin, but simply a "looking forward." [Maureen] yes! (sorry ...I couldn't find my centering!) [Maureen] :) [GeraldineB] and for Distracted, I would say caught up in the "should" or "ought to" mode of thinking [Maureen] (...that was a joke!) [MEntity] Maureen, we know. [Maureen] LOL [GeraldineB] LOL [AnnH] Yes, G. Very much. [MEntity] Geraldine, that is fair, but the "should" or "ought to" would not be the distraction; it would be what the distraction tried to avoid or ignore. [AnnH] Ah! [GeraldineB] which is . . .I don't want to do this and will PROCRASTINATE to NOT do it [AnnH] I often feel a lot of "I don't want to." [AnnH] Heh, psych [MEntity] There are plenty of "shoulds" and "ought to's" that are important and valid responsibilities, but distractions can make them difficult to fulfill. [Janet] I think of my life in terms of whether I'm bored or not bored. I see correlation to distracted or enthusiastic. [MEntity] That would be fair, Janet, as boredom is a lack of presence and connection to Essence. If Essence is put at a distance, boredom tends to be a result. Often, when one is not enthusiastic, one shuts down the resonance to Essence. We think that each of you see this clearly enough to benefit from the use of it in your choices and contexts, if you choose to apply this insight. We will add here that if one is looking at the Meditative Circuit, it is beneficial to understand that this is the first of the Overleaves to be activated and sustained, even if it is changeable and habitual. Centering will always go back to a more precognitive state of being, and therefore, is a context of innocence. In other words, when one seeks to find his "centering," or to meditate on his life, it is a return to innocence. Techniques and methods are helpful for the meditative state and circuitry, but this circuit is the context in every instance when you are alone. This is why aloneness is vital for the health of any Essence or Personality. Though aloneness is given a bad name in modern, highly-populated and dense societies, it is vital. Every time you are alone, you are leading with Centering, and that is supported or undermined by your distractions or enthusiasms. [AnnH] I am sorry to make this all about me, but I find that emotional centering makes it difficult to get things done when I don't "feel" like it. [MariLynn] I agree Ann [Diane_HB] I'm intellectually centered and I still can't get things done when I don't feel like it [MEntity] So to help heal or strengthen the circuitry of your Meditative context, your return to innocence, it can be as simple as fostering enthusiasm as the secondary circuit. This is a simple circuitry to address: For those who are Emotionally-Centered, there tends to be a necessity to foster or allow enthusiasm for Relationships, or The Mode, as the secondary circuit. For those who are Intellectually-Centered, there tends to be a necessity to foster or allow for Social and philosophical interactions, or the Attitude. For those who are Moving-Centered, there would tend to be a necessity for fostering enthusiasm, or allowing, for Projects to be fulfilled. In other words, the Emotionally-Centered can look at her Mode for how to relate to the self when alone. The Emotionally-Centered must be able to relate to herself as a means to be centered. [Maureen] What do you mean by: ``The Emotionally-Centered must be able to relate to herself as a means to be centered.` [MEntity] The Intellectually-Centered can look to her Attitude for how to interpret her life, how to interpret her place in society, as a means to return to her innocence and centered state. [Maureen] in general or something specific? [MEntity] Maureen, those who are emotionally-centered, when the Meditative circuit is weakened, can tend to wait or want for external inspiration to bring them back into a strengthened circuit of meditation and centeredness. [Maureen] I see [MEntity] They must find themselves to be inspiring again, to relate to themselves again. That is all that "relating" means: being inspired. [Maureen] ..and can look for distractions through other people? [MEntity] Maureen, yes, the Emotionally-Centered can often think that if the right relationship would come along, all would be well with the self. They are most prone to co-dependence. They can be distracted with relationships, which take them away from themselves, their centeredness, their innocence. When the Meditative circuit is weakened, it can greatly affect how the life is digested, how you see and experience yourself, and how divided or fractured you are within. Do each of you find resonance with this insight into these circuits, so far? [Bobby] yes [AnnH] Yes, sort of. [ClaireC] Very much so. [GeraldineB] yes -- it just doesn't "stick" with me -- it makes sense for the moment [Diane_HB] yes [Maureen] yes [AnnH] There's an intellectual resonance, but I can't really get a hold of it. [MariLynn] yes [MEntity] To help it "stick" with you, we suggest carrying with you the simple navigation between Distraction and Enthusiasm. The rest can be put into place after that. We have described contextual circuitry, which changes in any given situation, but there is also a Core Circuitry. CORE CIRCUITRY This is how your Overleaves network when not being led by a context. Though not an exact accuracy in all cases, it is easiest to assess your Core Overleaf by looking at how your various Essence and Overleaf patterns fall in the system. Looking at the "map" that Troy has shared with you, note where your known Overleaves fall. Include your Essence, Casting, Soul Age, and Level in your count. [MariLynn] do you mean what axis is most dominant? [MEntity] Your final assessment would be the count of how many fall into Inspiration, Expression, Action, or Assimilation. MariLynn, yes. [MariLynn] ok. that's what I thought [MEntity] Through a Sage, we can tend to be "wordier" than necessary, though we try to be succinct. [Bobby] lol [Maureen] LOL [Maureen] actually Michael -- that was pretty succinct! [MEntity] Do not include your Chief Negative Features. And only your Primary Centering. [GeraldineB] Michael was peeking again [Diane_HB] how about body types? [MEntity] Only the Primary [MariLynn] I didn't get the map but I have another chart....however what does old soul tend to fall into, ie. what axis? [MEntity] That would be Expression, MariLynn. Share your dominant Axis when you are ready. If you find that there is a tie among them, we will address that, too. [Maureen] I am 2-2-2-2- Michael [AnnH] Assimilation [Janet] Heavy on Expression axis; hardly any in the others (2-6-1-0) [Bobby] Action, followed by Inspiration [MEntity] We are unclear as to the numerical references, so we suggest either clarifying, or simply sharing the dominant, or tied, Axis or Axes. [Maureen] I am even across the board Michael [Diane_HB] I have 3 in Assimilation and 2 in all other axes [MariLynn] I am super dominant expression (5) 3 ins., 3 action and NO assimilation....no wonder I'm on disability!! [GeraldineB] I have big numbers 5s & 6s [MEntity] There should be 9 elements considered in your assessment: Role, Casting, Soul Age, Level, Goal, Mode, Attitude, Centering, Body Type. [Janet] Six of nine on Expression axis for me [AnnH] I have only 1 action [GeraldineB] I don't see anything for Level [MariLynn] with my body types, I am not sure which one is dominant. I feel almost equal in mars/merc. [GeraldineB] I have three and when Michael gives BTs, they're never in any particular order (or so I've seen them say) [MariLynn] yes [MEntity] For those with dominant Action, then the Goal is the Core Overleaf, and the Project Circuitry would tend to be fairly comfortable and appealing. [ClaireC] Can someone enlighten me on how to read this chart? [Maureen] OK -- Bingo!! I have a winner! 3 are in Action and 2, each, are in the other axis! [GeraldineB] I have three in 5 and three in 6 [MEntity] For those with dominant Expression, then the Attitude is the Core Overleaf, and the Social Circuitry tends to be the most comfortable and appealing. For those with dominant Inspiration, then the Mode is the Core Overleaf, and Intimacy tends to come easily, or is most appealing as a circuitry. For those with dominant Assimilation, the Core Overleaf is Centering, and the Meditative Circuitry (aloneness) tends to be the most comfortable and appealing. If your elements are evenly distributed, you may tend to go with the default HUB of the Personality (which is different from the Core), and that is the Attitude. The HUB of the Personality is similar to the Brain being the hub of the body, but not necessarily the main emphasis of development for an individual. Understanding your Core Overleaf can help you to understand where most of your emphasis is on development. It helps you to understand the state of your moods, your health, and your energy levels. If your Core Overleaf is not fed enough, so to speak, the Personality starves, it begins to deteriorate in circuitry, which reflects in energy levels, health, and mood. So consider this, in light of your Core: if your core is Social, and your life is mostly aimed at Projects, you may find it impacts you in ways that are challenging. If your core is Intimacy, Relating, and your life is focused on Social or Philosophical circuits, you may find yourself challenged in mood, energy, health. And so on. [ClaireC] Michael, with 3 Inspiration and 3 Expression, which would be the Dominant Core? [GeraldineB] Ditto Claire's question -- I, too, am 3 Expression and 3 Inspiration [MEntity] Geraldine, we have stated that if your elements are evenly distributed, you may find that you default to the Hub (the Attitude). [GeraldineB] OK ... I misunderstood [MEntity] That would mean that it is quite important to develop and feed one's philosophies in the life. From this discussion, each of you can now see your Contextual Circuits, understand which Overleaf leads in those, and understand your secondary circuit as being a realm of distraction or as a fulfillment of enthusiasm. We have also shared your Core Overleaf, based on the distribution of elements that make up your Essence and Overleaves, and how this must be developed and tended to for your healthy mood, body, and energy. If one's health, mood, and energy levels may seem compromised, take a look at your Core Overleaf, and determine if you are "feeding" it well enough, tending to it, nurturing it, giving it the experiences it may naturally desire, etc. If one can move the Core Overleaf into some kind of strength of circuitry, it can make a great difference in the body, energy, and mood. [MariLynn] that's for sure!! I thought I *got* it....and then I think I started overthinking it [MEntity] We will conclude here for today. This is an introductory consideration for how the Overleaves work in more useful and meaningful ways beyond their basic definitions. [AnnH] What if we're lacking in one area? [Bobby] the final test will be given on the Causal and it will be open book(Akashic) har har har [Diane_HB] lol [MariLynn] lol Bobby!! [MEntity] Ann, where one tends to be lacking the most, one would tend to attract others who may have that area as dominant. Or one would tend to generate experiences that keep that circuitry alive in some way. (Note: In the editing process, I moved some lines around so they'd make better sense; also, there are a few that were duplicated -- again, to give clarity glb)
  6. February 7, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel Education Part One Note from Janet: This transcript refers to the session as 'Part 1', but it does not appear another session on the topic was ever held. [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the Energy Report as it stands for the weeks between February 9th through the 22nd of the same month. You are now well into the energy described as Discrimination, and so far, the energy has seemed to be generally maintained in the Positive Poles for most. The most obvious effect from this energy will be in the heightened awareness of a single or couple of MAJOR choices needing to be made. We said the first couple of weeks looked to be calm and an opportunity for restful interaction with Essence, but the next couple of weeks appear to be focused on making the one or two major choices that will alter the life in some way. It could be said to be a pivotal period of time for many of you on a personal level. The period of time that supported time for restful interaction with Essence apparently was to help in the process of gaining more consciousness in Choice. Although Decisions are made all of the time, Choices are made that alter the life and create Parallels. Decisions lead to Choices. When Decisions are made, Personality can be aligned with Essence or not. When Choice is made, the alignment is seriously examined and this is a strong factor in how Choice is made. This could indicate an upsurge in most people, particular Mature and Old Souls, to implement a regular routine now of communicating to Essence in more personal ways. As this is a Moving Centered Year, as we have said in other contact, this will most likely mean you will be taking into consideration how your immediate environment reflects your relationship to Essence. Symbolism is very high right now, too, in terms of home arrangement, dreams, and “omens.” It is a particularly clear time to consult your favorite oracles, mediums, or channels. It is a particularly clear time to speak to and listen to (communicate with) people around you who might have insight, whether they realize it or not. February 12 appears to be highlighted as significant and pivotal. We realize this is the “Chinese new year,” we believe, but we do not refer to the date because of that. It simply seems to be the most sensitive and unformed day within the period of time in question. This tends to imply significance on a larger level. We will take your questions about the Energy Report now. If there are no questions, we will begin on the Topic. [Glenn] I notice a correlation to the period you discuss with the Mayan calendar. According to that, we are just ending a period of “core days,” where we work on core issues. Can you comment? [M_Entity] We have found through many of our students and channels that there tends to be a correlation between our perspective of energy patterns and the Mayan pattern mapped by their calendar. We can only say that this serves to act as validation for us and our students that the Mayan Calendar and its implications are worth examination. The mapping of celestial tides and patterns so far into the future are valid. The interpretations of these patterns, however, are symbolic. This is what makes the validity so uncanny. Astrology as you know it, is certainly not as clear and it does not claim the same detail. The only “flaw” in the Mayan interpretations is when the calendar “ends.” The commonly accepted date is off. [Kieran] Would the teaching of a simple core speaking language (one exists) make a big difference in breaking down cultural barriers and misunderstandings world wide? [M_Entity] Yes, of course. This does not usually occur as a World Truth until the latter part of a Mature Soul Age. Until that time, the focus is from a stronger Young Soul influence on maintaining “culture,” “heritage,” “history,” and “tradition.” The beginning of a Mature Soul world goes through a long and tedious period of “reaching out” in ways to acknowledge and understand all minority groups’ identification. This allows everyone to feel as if they have been included and are a part of the world. Then the task of weaving these differences into cohesion is taken on, and the first method of choice is choosing a common language. This concept is met with less reaction and pride by that time. [Anne49] With reference to the Mayan Calendar’s end date being “off,” will you tell us what the correct date is? [M_Entity] We will look at the Mayan Calendar’s accurate ending as we move through tonight. We are having a block at this time in that area through this channel. [NOTE from TROY: I have not made time to get Michael’s response to this, yet] If there are no more questions, we will begin with the Topic. Education, Part One The topic of Education is a broad one. We will be sharing some basic considerations we believe would help fragments begin a life with optimum potential and development of personal tools. “Education” begins within 48 hours of Physical Birth. The Body is a complete sensory unit and focal point “into” the Physical Plane for Essence at that time. We say the Body is “complete” as a sensory unit at that time because, relative to later influences, certain senses may or may not be heightened or diminished over time. For the first 7 years of a life, in general, the Essence gradually “moves in.” Essence does not live through the Body before that period of time, though there are exceptions. During the first 7 years, past life Personalities of relevance, as well as Essence, “care” for the Body and direct it and those fragments of importance around it for as many opportunities for imprinting as possible. When we say the “Essence and past Personalities direct those of importance,” we do not imply this is done through deceit or imposition. It is done through Agreement formation and fulfillment in most cases, or Karma. However the Body is cared for and guided, between the ages of 2 and 3 the Centering has become habit. This then would become one of its Overleaves. This is the first Overleaf of importance in determining the beginnings of Education on a higher level than primal. Children, then, can easily be said to be from three basic groups: Moving Centered, Intellectually Centered, and Emotionally Centered. There are, of course, those who are Instinctive Centered, and we will address these rare fragments another time. If intentional Education is addressed to fragments before the age of 7, it is helpful to acknowledge their primary Centering during that time as the priority. Moving Centered children, indicated many times by Physical symptoms in the skin (barring basic “diaper rash”) and tendencies to hit, bounce, stand, and/or pull more strongly, would gain more from focus on toys that encourage the EARS or HEARING. Intellectually Centered children, indicated many times by far more vocalizations, screaming, and “tantrums,” would do well with an emphasis on toys that require physical contact, touching. Emotionally Centered children, indicated many times by more quiet, smiling, and “good” babies, would do well with an emphasis on toys which require balance, combining, and color. (Emotionally Centered children see color far earlier than other children.) Before we continue, we will pause for questions about educating children up the age of 7. Are there any questions? [ClaireN] How does the environment affect learning? [M_Entity] If you consider the basic route of education for the child under 7 years of age, then it could be said that any emphasis on the more distracting influences could diminish learning. It could also be said that an OVER emphasis can be damaging. For instance if an Emotionally Centered child has a focus on Hearing, they may lose the important development from the more complementary route of Color, Balance, and Combining. Then again, if they are overexposed to harsh colors and chaos, they may tend to inhibit all interest in anything to complement their Centering. If an Intellectually Centered child has more of a focus on Hearing and Music, for another example, they may lose the important shaping from the more complementary need for Touch and Physical Interaction; though if they are carelessly touched, or indifferently cared for, they can be greatly damaged. As you can see, most caretakers intuitively provide ALL of the possible complementary toys and methods for education. But we can say that if an emphasis of a healthier development is a consideration, the more specific suggestions are important. Did this answer your question? [ClaireN] Yes, thank you. [M_Entity] You may have noticed that what we have suggested as educational focus is not primary to the Centering that is developing. Instead, it is complementary in that the emphasis will create a contrast to create a “rounding out” of the Center, creating less of an opportunity for the Center to live in a TRAP or PART, later. By the Age of 7, the Part is a habit. The greater the comprehension and strength of the Center by that time, the less it depends on a Part, but instead, uses ALL Parts appropriately. From the Age of 7, the focus of Education would best be geared toward defining the “Primary Essence Influence.” We say “Primary Essence Influence” because Essence may or may not be supported by the Overleaves as they rest on a predominate Axis. When it comes to a lifetime, especially before the 4th Internal Monad, the Personality, as the OVERLEAVES define it, is the most important concern, not necessarily the Role of Essence. Emphasizing discovering the Personality and its focus is key in allowing Essence to manifest as clearly and consistently as possible later in life. With that being said, it must be considered that past the age of 7, Education must address 3 very vital areas of the Personality: The Goal, the Mode, and the Attitude. Currently, those with an emphasis on Overleaves resting on the Inspiration, Expressive Axes are lost to the emphasis on the Moving and Assimilative Axes. Creative, Inspiring activities and outlets are not available in any meaningful way until after what is called High School, in most cases. Because the system is focused on only supporting only the Moving or Assimilative Axes, even if programs are in place for Expression and Inspiration, they are ridiculed, belittled, and under-funded, separating that group of Personalities in potentially detrimental ways. We suggest an overhaul of this basic inconsiderate system of education by not only creating methods of teaching that accommodate each Axis, but also accommodate each area of important development in terms of the Goal, Mode, and Attitude. This would mean teaching children from the primary axis of Inspiration through methods that encourage Emotional associations, feelings, and intuition. Teaching children from the primary axis of Action to be taught through sports, physical interaction, and tactile methods. Teaching Expressive Axis children through stories, expression, acting, communication, art, performance and stage. This is highly simplistic, but we realize the time frame we have through this channel is limited. Using the appropriate methods based on Axis, the school “day” would then be emphasized in 3 segments, each focusing on either the Goal, Mode, or Attitude. This basically means developing and encouraging the basic tendencies and interests of the child as he or she has shown interest (the goal), teaching the very basics of intimacy, sexuality, relationships, and exposure to varying cultures (the Mode). Teaching the 7 basic philosophies on the planet (the attitude). We cannot emphasize enough the importance of teaching the 7 basic philosophies before or during the teen years. If there is one, single aspect of education that condemns a society to unhealthy development and division, it is in the lack of understanding your own personal perceptions/philosophy and those of others. We will add here that we have not forgotten the Assimilative Axis. This Axis, of all of them, is the most adaptable and would gravitate itself toward the Axis most meaningful at varying points of development. The irony is in the “backward” approach to using, instead, the whole of Assimilation as the means to teach, rather than allowing those who are naturally Assimilative to adapt. We will pause here for questions, noting that this topic is far from concluded here, though the time is running out. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here. [JNelson] How do the Overleaves figure into how to teach a specific subject matter that a culture has already decided to teach? For instance, how would you teach Inspiration or Emotionally inclined fragments about math? [M_Entity] The premise of a subject would not change. In the case of Math, of course the focus must be on objects and their relation to each other. For each Axis, it is not necessarily that the means to teach would vary so wildly, but that the emphasis in the environment would change. For instance, the Inspirational children would learn Math based in an environment that is less structured, more intuitive, and made room for feelings. The Expressive children would learn through socializing, acting out the theories in story or song, and playing. A stereotypical classroom for the Inspirational children would be calmer, working with 3 dimensional representations, and using discussion, guessing, and emotional language. A Stereotypical classroom for the Expressive children would be boisterous, loud, using humor, food, and smells and lots and lots of personal associations to learn. The difference we propose is that a room with structure, pen and paper, and facing forward, are only specifically beneficial to Assimilation, and secondarily to Action. Beanbags chairs, toys, and stage, regardless of the subject, would keep a Sage’s or Artisan’s attention in any subject all the way through High School. Although we are not complete on this subject, we will conclude here. We will continue this subject at the request of our students, if the interest is there. Good Night.
  7. MICHAEL SPEAKS Transcript 110909 Michael Entity: Hello to each of you. We are here with you now. QUESTION: Will Michael please comment on Drunvalo Melchizedek's claims and the flower of life seminar about mass ascension into Christ Consciousness around 2012? Michael Entity: We see this as yet another fantastical, yet attractive, interpretation of a rather insignificant, non-event for the sake of emotional and material capitalization. We say this as a matter of basic fact, and not to cast a negative light on such things. It is quite satisfying to many to have an imaginary end-point toward which to focus personal evolution, and 2012 has been co-opted, interpreted, and hung out as a banner of warning or hope by nearly every angle of spirituality. Simple questioning and investigation can often clarify these ominous predictions to show that there is no validity, so when one is quite willing to "play along" with these scenarios, one has determined that there is some kind of value in that game, or at the very least, a resonance to internal fears that are in need of addressing. As long as calendars exist along with Young and Mature Souls within a population, there will be impending doomsday dates to impose dramatic descriptions for undramatic shifts. QUESTION: Does that mean "ascended masters" did not create a Christ Consciousness grid around the earth and that there will not be a group "awakening"? Michael Entity: We would not be so conclusive as to say "no," but we will say that this interpretation and imagery is rather embellished. Some fragments find theatrical imagery appealing, and the personifications help some to open to support from non-physical guides. From many mythologies, templates are generated from the imagery and then fragments can use those to attract and funnel legitimate support, with entities and fragments playing the role offered by the template. For instance, there is no "Zeus," or "Goddess" per se, but one can use that template as a funnel for Astral fragments and entities to work through. The "ascended masters" are another network of templates that are used by multiple Astral fragments and entities. "Archangel Michael," for example, is not the same source for every group who works with that template. These templates act as accessible, larger-than-life roles within a fragment's life that helps one to connect or resonate to support and forces beyond the immediately-tangible. Even the Judeo-Christian "God" is merely a mythological template. We, ourselves, used the template of "The Sun God" in the Oracles of Delphi as a means to work with our students at the time. Once personification is involved with a non-physical teacher, or source, a template is born and up for grabs for people to use as a medium of contact with entities willing to play the role described by that template. In some cases, that template is used as a means for housing the divided elements of the incarnated person attracted to it. For example, our own name has become a template, and some who claim to channel us simply use that template to deliver their own messages and ideas in the hopes of validating their own perceptions, sense of value, while securing an audience and using the built-in credentials. QUESTION: Speaking of fantastical, yet attractive new aged teachings, does Michael consider A Course in Miracles to be a creation for the purpose of emotion and material capitalization? Michael Entity: We will say that there is personally-valuable information within Drunvalo Melchizedek's and A Course in Miracle's teachings, regardless of the validity of the information, and the use of highly-profitable marketing tactics. We merely responded with a random comment, as requested, and we do see the theatrics of 2012 to be purely for marketing, as that year has no significance in terms of any Mayan Calendar calculations. QUESTION: In Michael's observation/experience are the dramatic descriptions used for the polarity shifts and the earth wobble simply exaggerations for undramatic shifts? Michael Entity: Observations of potential, impending shifts, such as what has come to be known as "global warming," or "earth wobble," or "polarity shifts," meteor impacts, shifts in mass consciousness, etc, are valid to some degree, however, these kinds of events are not on a schedule that can be marked in any way that is predictable at this point, and most of these are shifts that would take longer than any single lifetime. We will add, though, that because of the amount of emphasis on 2012 by such a large mass of consciousness, we do see a high potential for "something" to be significant, though it would most likely be interpreted differently for different groups, depending on their view of reality. QUESTION: This will seem off the wall but I have a reason for asking it: I understand you do not predict so I am interested in probabilities. If an encounter had been planned in, say, oh the next 2 years by what would be considered to us "alien" in nature, it would seem like those plans would have already been put into place due to logistical reasons. Is there a high probability in say the next 2 years of alien contact here on Earth? If so, where would this species be coming from and what are their intentions? Michael Entity: Alien contact has already become a rather substantial part of your world, albeit in ways that are not obvious to the population. There are many reasons for its not being a part of the world-at-large, most reasons being that it is illegal, so to speak, by standards set among traveling species. "Official" contact is with small groups and has a long-term goal that is intended for slow reveal and acclimation, but there are problems that continue to come up for that plan, moving the debate toward a sudden reveal as being more practical. The debate of "sudden vs slow" has been on the table for nearly 30 years, regularly stalled because of world politics that reveal the inherent dangers that already exist among humans toward each other, let alone toward an off-planet species. Your species is seen as extremely vulnerable and dangerous, and nothing in recent history has suggested otherwise to sway the debate. QUESTION: Can you elaborate of the types of small groups? Michael Entity: Though we described the contact with off-planet species as "substantial," we will clarify that it has been minimal in the "official" contexts. The debates are among the off-planet species. There are no regular board meetings with Humans. The "official" contact has been made with military groups, as most already suspect. Tests and observations will continue in the forms of "crop circles" and through observing your media portrayal in both fiction and non-fiction of off-planet species, and various other ways, along with the debate. Those most interested in your well-being are the same circle of species who helped relocate your species here long ago as a means to protect you from extinction. Most of what we are conveying to you is incapable of being validated, so we do not ask you to "believe" us, as we do not ask this of you for any part of our teaching or sharing of our perception. QUESTION: My question concerns overleaves on the Assimilation axis in general, and the Goal of Flow in particular. Michael have said that you can shift from the Negative Pole of an overleaf by using the Positive Pole of the complementary overleaf on the same axis. But with Assimilative overleaves, sometimes it can be difficult to figure out which Positive Pole would be most appropriate to consider depending on the situation. Is there a way to figure that out easily, especially in relation to the Goal of Flow? Michael Entity: We would first say that the Goal of Flow would naturally gravitate toward that which would help lead to Flow, without having to be so strategic, so our first suggestion would be to look at your personal history of choices that led to a sense of freedom. This would bring some personal clarity to your natural process. Next, we would suggest that when one wants to bring an awareness to the process of moving from the negative pole of an Assimilative Overleaf to the positive pole of another overleaf, you would ask yourself if your situation calls for ACTION, EXPRESSION, or INSPIRATION. Once that question has been answered in a way that feels fairly accurate, then one would ask if the situation calls for a focused or broader (ordinal/cardinal) solution. An easier way to interpret this line of questioning might be: Do I need to DO, FEEL, or BE something as a means to be Free? And does this require immediate focus, or long-range planning? For example, with Observation: Do I need to DO, FEEL, or BE something as a means to see with Clarity? And do I require immediate clarity, or a higher clarity? And finally, we would say that you could "throw a dart" at your Overleaf chart and any positive pole would be an effective path from the negative pole of your primary Overleaf. One CANNOT go "wrong" in choosing any positive pole for use in returning to a sense of True Personality and manifestation of Essence. ALL Positive Poles are resonant with every other Positive Pole, therefore allowing a move from one Overleaf to another with ease. QUESTION: Hello Michael, I know that several of us here today are Cadre 1 Entity 2, could you elaborate on how this cadre/entity is manifesting itself, what we are teaching in our current global community? Michael Entity: Cadre 1, Entity 2 appears to be manifesting itself, as usual, in the struggle and implementation of Stability over Balance. Nearly every fragment from that Entity over the physical age of 20 has "pulled back from life" in a way that is figuratively holding Balance in one hand, and Stability in the other. All Entity 2s struggle within the spectrum between Balance and Stability, and eventually the Entity, collectively, "gets it" and a wave of realization moves among the members. Currently, the majority of Entity 2 members of Cadre 1 appear to be in a state of limbo, unsure of how to go forward with Stability in "the real world." Withdrawing from life, so to speak, has given the glimpses of Stability that can now begin to make sense as feasible. How to bring that back out into the world of "living life" still escapes most of the members currently exploring this. What most Entity 2 members learn to do is the equivalent of placing two feet on a plank of wood that rests on a ball, teetering and rocking and rolling on that ball, feet planted squarely, and as long as one does not fall, it passes as Stability. However, all energy goes into just staying atop the ball, and this tends to be exhausting, and most eventually "fall" (get ill, have an accident, move into crisis) as a means to just get some rest, because despite the fact that those experiences are often traumatic, they at least offer a stability that is not a part of life when balancing atop the ball. Stability is when the ball is removed, and both feet are, figuratively. on solid ground. We describe this to you as a process, and not as one way being better than another. Many Entity 2 members will gladly state how exciting the Balance on the ball can be, and the "falling off" gives life meaning. Balance is a state that requires division within for the sake of managing the life. Stability is when the life comes into a state of wholeness that does not require compartmentalization, division, juggling, etc. We know many members of Entity 2 are extremists. Extremism is a form of Balance, going from one extreme to another on a regular basis. All or Nothing. Eventually the realization comes that life does not have to be "all or nothing." This spectrum of manifestation described for Entity 2 is not unfamiliar to many fragments who are not a part of an Entity 2, so this information may be applicable to you, regardless of your Entity number. However, our descriptions for Entity themes do describe the inherent, condensed, and consistent priorities of an Entity within a Cadre. Entity 2 of Cadre 1 is currently themed in the reality and implementation of "growing up," or being a "grown up," regardless of the age of the Personality. Stability, "growing up," and manifesting Soul Age, which has regularly been equated with something akin to death for many in Entity 2, is now starting to be seen as something appealing, even if that appeal is confusing. The teachings of Entity 2, then, could be described as themed in "how to sustain and nurture innocence and joy along with the process of maturing." QUESTION: Could Michael please comment on the experiences of Carl Jung as documented in his recently released “Red Book”? In particular, I'm curious to hear about how Jung induced the "active imaginations" as described in this book. Michael Entity: Jung merely observed a natural phenomenon of the culture of beliefs that are inclined toward personification, and in observing this, sought to harness it. We do not see any particular method for his inducing active imaginations, though he does appear to have developed cues to help, but rather he allowed room for that natural tendency in his therapies. This was revolutionary to some extent since these factors were not given any validity before his theories. We will also add that our channel has not read the book in question, so our comments are limited to our access to, and interpretation of, Jung's records. QUESTION: What are the 7 levels of 'true" mastery on the side of truth ??? ...is there a group collective consciousness occurring, as, well, as, a ...collective consciousness of all the assortment of 7 levels of a fragment ...(where one can tap into going back to an infant - to the current manifested age, ...and, even forward to the ultimate return to the tao) consciously, and, unconsciously- ...as, if past-present-future and now, are occurring in The Pivot of The NOW ? or, does love/and, energy also factor into the sum total (since, it is a trine/or trinity) 3 aspects of a cadre/entity Michael Entity: The 7 stages of Mastery would be the same for all fragments, and this might be described as the process that is the set of Overleaves called GOALS, or in words that are more relevant, such as Focus, Refinement, Commitment, Flexibility, Affection, Meaning, and Embodiment. We also add that these are facets, not stages. The experience of a fragment within the structure of Time can use "the now" as a pivotal point for accessing future and past, though not necessarily in any literal way. The experience of Time is an Emotional reality, so when one "goes back in time," one can affect the present by altering the interpretation an experience of the past. It is true that there is "only the now," and that it is a pivotal power point. In our teachings, we simply use the word "choice" in place of "the now," as Choice is the active element in the experience of time, past, future, and present. QUESTION: Hello Troy/Michael entity. I have a three part question that hopefully will be beneficial to the whole group. I had a personal experience not too long ago with the drug Salvia Divinorum. It is said that drugs like Salvia D and DMT take you to a "different dimension" and I was wondering what happened to me/where I went in my Salvia D experience, how exactly these type of drugs work, and if Michael believes these types of drugs (Salvia D and DMT) are beneficial to aid in the process of "spiritual awakening" because my experience with Salvia D definitely sent me down a path towards my current spiritual awakenings and also to the Michael Teachings. =) Michael Entity: Banging one's head into a wall, or dancing on a mountain top, can also bring a spiritual awakening, so we see all elements of life as potential tools for growth, including drugs. The drug in question appears to stimulate a combination that lowers inhibition and generates increased sensitivity to one's internal symbolism in a way that can be interpreted as "spiritual" and "safe" to explore. We see this as being a means to actively dream, so to speak, and those who actively explore dream imagery (without drugs) can easily share similar spiritual revelations. The use of the drugs in question would be a path of exploration one must choose to explore on one's own, but we can only say that results would vary among those who choose it. Drugs used for active "spiritual" exploration are often proportionally effective to the degree that one has become inhibited in the Personality. The more inhibited one is, the more profound the experience of the release from inhibition might be. In that regard, the choice to explore this option is valid, though one is never guaranteed a profound revelation by accessing what has become hidden. Often that access can be terrifying and even crippling to the life. QUESTION: Years ago in another Michael chat group, there was a lot of discussion about a time in Tonga where there were lots of us Michael students around. While I could certainly relate to the appeal of a beach lifetime, was this valid? I've not seen anything about this since. Michael Entity: It is valid that many students passed through that region in a group for a while as a means to explore Re-evaluation, but because of the nature of a simplified lifetime, it does not "register" high in the "memory" of a current Personality. QUESTION: Would the Michaels care to comment on the channelings of Muhammad, since I feel that it's probable he was a channel rather than what is accepted as a religious prophet. I'd also welcome the Michaels' take on the Islamic mantra "Lakum dinnakum, wallya din" - "to you be your way, and to me be mine" in the context of the push for Islam to dominate the western lifestyle via the enforced implementation of Shariah law which, by Qur'anic implication, should simply be passively available to those who choose to follow it rather than being a requirement. Michael Entity: This King-Cast Priest fragment represented the totality of one reunited Entity's perspective and was, indeed, a Transcendental Soul. We remind you that a Transcendental Soul, unlike an Infinite Soul, is still subject to Maya and Chief Features, and this fragment never rose beyond his Chief Features of Martyrdom and Greed. The imprinting from Artisans and Warriors around this fragment from their wounded views of their position relative to authority, and their lot in life, began the distortion of the teachings that were originally intended for a rise in confidence among the weak, poor, and helpless. The teachings began to attract those who resonated strongly to victimization and their fear of not having enough, turning the teachings into a path paved by resentment and defense, which continues to color the teachings to this day. The mantra quoted might be one of the few moments of clarity from the Priest's entity, but even this mantra was corrupted with a force that best be summed up as an addendum of "....as long as your way is also mine." Muhammad is one of 5 Transcendental Souls of the Common Era. One Transcendental Soul of the 5 who had any significant "positive" effect as intended was that of Gandhi. We will conclude here. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
  8. OMW - Feb 16, 2013 - Life Quadrant Positions Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin a discussion about the subject of Quadrates, or Life Quadrant Positions. [MEntity] Life Quadrant Positions are a form of Configuration. [antinius] But are "not the same concept as social or formal Configurations?" [MEntity] Configurations are a broad term for any group of fragments whose dynamic is contributory. [MEntity] Most Configurations discussed among our students are those with long-term projects as emphasis, and are specifically-formed groupings. [MEntity] However, Life Quadrant Positions are how one tends to behave in terms of contribution in ANY dynamic generated between the self and another. [antinius] I can see the distinction. [MEntity] These are default Positions one will tend toward, and are easily usurped when one steps into more formal Positions as part of more formal, or even social, Configurations. [MEntity] The contributory Positions of Configurations beyond Life Quadrant Positions is relative to the Task, or Project. The contributory Positions of the Life Quadrant Position is relative to one's general sense of strength on one's own. [MEntity] Knowing one's Life Quadrant Position is helpful for not only understanding one's personal sense of strength of contribution, but can also help to explain how others tend to respond to you, expect of you, and receive from you. [MEntity] The Life Quadrant Position is not something with an agenda, Task, or Project, but is simply a part of how fragments relate to one another and find the most basic forms of support in any other fragment. [MEntity] The Life Quadrant Positions are not dependent upon an organized dynamic of 4 people, but are Positions inherent in every fragment so that every fragment can have access to that kind of basic input and contribution from any other fragment, regardless of intimacy, freindships, status, distance, etc. [MEntity] For example, wherever you are, and with whomever you are, you can access Love, Knowledge, Compassion, and Power from any and all other fragments with whom you may interact. [MEntity] The reason every fragment defaults to one of these Positions, and the reason every fragment can access the benefit of these Positions through any other fragments is because they are the most vital and persistent Positions that every fragment most often needs as part of a life. [MEntity] These Positions are Intimate Positions, regardless of with whom they are shared. [MEntity] This is why the kindness of a stranger can mean so much, even when you have never known this person before, and may never see that person again. The intimacy is inherent in the dynamic because of the resonance generated. [MEntity] Understanding the social dynamic of a group, or an informal Configuration, can be helpful for understanding the behaviors of individuals within that group, but regardless of their Position as part of that social Configuration, beneath that is their Life Quadrant Position, which then tends to come into effect when outside of that group. [MEntity] This has often been the reason for why someone seems so different when in a social situation, but then relates to you very differently wnen one-on-one. [MEntity] Their Life Quadrant Position is what comes to the surface in those more intimate settings. [MEntity] The same goes for how you function. [MEntity] You may gravitate toward the Power Position when in a social group setting, but one-on-one find that your strength is Compassion, or Love. [MEntity] The Life Quadrant Position often comes from one's Axis of Essence, but is not ruled by that correlation. [MEntity] So Servers and Priest will tend toward the Love Position; Artisans and Sages tend toward the Knowledge Position; Warriors and Kings toward the Power Position; and Scholars toward the Compassion/Support Position. [MEntity] Those correlations can be relevant in terms of Essence, but any particular Personality/lifetime can develop its own Quadrant Position that goes beyond the tendency of Essence. [MEntity] However, the default Life Quadrant Position will still tend to be Axis-related, and so the dynamic of one's Essence and Personality in any given lifetime can give clues to one's default Position. [MEntity] For example, if one is a Priest Essence, this would tend toward the default Love Position, but if the Personality has a great number of Overleaves and influences relative to the Action Axis, then he or she may have a tendency toward the Power Position. [MEntity] We will suggest a moment now for calculating this for yourself. We will offer the correlations here, while you add up the influences. [MEntity] Using the link below, look for your Essence, Role, Casting, Overleaves, Primary Centering, Soul Age, and Level, and determine how much Inspiration, Expression, Action, and Assimilation are in your dynamic: [MEntity] http://goo.gl/3wHMY [MEntity] Use the "value" line for Level. [MEntity] LOVE = INSPIRATION; KNOWLEDGE = EXPRESSION; POWER = ACTION; SUPPORT/COMPASSION = ASSIMILATION [Janet] I'm both Artisan and heavy on the expression axis. So Knowledge for me. [MEntity] WORKSHOP MOMENT [Maureen] So far I have a real mix Michael [GeraldineB] I think I use most of the positions, but I'm definitely dominant on the knowledge one -- followed by compassion, then maybe power, then maybe love [Maureen] I'm Expression/Action, then Inspiration, then Assimilation. So Knowledge/Power, Love, Compassion (based on the chart) [MEntity] What you want to do, if you choose to grasp the nature of your default Position, is to look for that Primary Quadrant Position. There is always Secondary Position, but rarely a Tertiary or Quaternary backup. [MEntity] The Positions describe qualities that every person can call upon, but we are not describing qualities of interest, we are discussing default contributions of strength that affect others. [GeraldineB] Then, for me it's ALWAYS Expression/Knowledge [antinius] The numbers say Expression/Knowledge for me, but intuitively I feel more like Compassion/Assimilation [MEntity] Once you have determined your Primary Quadrant Position based on the math of your personal dynamics, you may then see from that same math what your Secondary Quadrant Position may be. [MEntity] The Secondary only tends to come into effect upon expectation and demand by another fragment. [Maureen] I may be Power as my Primary then and Knowledge as my Secondary (based on specualtion and the chart) -- but I'm not sure [MEntity] For example, your Primary may be Knowledge, but someone is desperate for Love, so you offer Inspiration "in a pinch." [Janet] That helps Michael. So my secondary is probably Love. I have the second highest number of over leaves on the inspiration axis. [MEntity] The Secondary can come up, as well, when you are alongside another with the same Primary, and one of you is enough of that Primary for the receiving fragment, so you can shift to your Secondary to help complement the dynamic. [Maureen] I feel that do whatever is required in a group -- I watch for what's needed. [MEntity] If the math of your Overleaves and Essence do not reveal a Primary and Secondary Position to which you resonate, then this tends to be the case for one or both of these scenarios: [MEntity] Inaccurate channeling or assessment of Essence and Personality dynamics, and/or Imprinting. [MEntity] If your nature is to be more inspiring, but you were always in a position that demanded of you to be action/power, then the Personality will stick with what it has learned, rather than default to its own dynamics. [MEntity] Regardless of how one may naturally default, this can be completely overridden over time. [MEntity] So much so that it feels almost as if it is natural to you. [MEntity] This is not a good or bad thing, but a result of choices made, consciously or subconsciously, that helped shape your sense of contributory strengths. [MEntity] Whatever your Primary may calculate out to be, and regardless of your Secondary, you would want to consider to which of the Positions you feel you most relate and identify. [MEntity] If there is a discrepancy, then it is an opportunity for you to determine if there is an underlying strength that is more natural to you that you may have dismissed, and can learn to own again, or you can wholly embrace your chosen Position over your inherent Position, and know that it is your choice. [MEntity] We will share some key elements of each Position to help in your understanding and assessment: [MEntity] LOVE - Inspiration - tends to wish to reflect, represent, and encourage the most possibility and potential in another person; tends to like to initiate; tends to start many things, but needs the details to be carried out by other Positions; tends to feel obligated to care when others will not; tends to allow room for difficult people, even to their own detriment; [MEntity] KNOWLEDGE - Expression - tends to wish to be exemplary in what has been learned; tends to see the bigger picture and patterns of the life; feels strongly about giving form to ideas and ideals, and not leave them as mere pondering; tends toward easier time making decisions; tends to find the truth not threatening; [MEntity] POWER - Action - tends toward tangible results, plans of action, and sustained motivation; tends to have access to resources that allow for implementing plans; tends to be resourceful and unwavering; tends not to be daunted by what needs to be done; [MEntity] COMPASSION/SUPPORT - Assimilation - tends toward listening and observing; tends to easily see obstacles and challenges that need to be addressed; tends toward allowing room for struggles, but not at the expense of intentions; tends toward empathy in a way that allows for true comprehension and understanding; tends not to be afraid of being wrong or making mistakes. [MEntity] As you can see, each of these are a part of each of you, but one of these is how you best contribute to others. [MEntity] Based on these limited descriptions, where are each of you in terms of your calculated default vs your sense of preference? [Maureen] I'm still struggling Michael [MEntity] What do your calculations reveal, Maureen? [GeraldineB] I'm definitely on target for Knowledge as my primary position and compassion/assimilation for secondary [Maureen] I feel my strength is Love but I gravitate towards Knowledge [GeraldineB] do you use knowledge to "perfect" Love? [Maureen] yes -- I think I do [GeraldineB] Then Love is probably your strength as you work to shore it up [antinius] Three 5's, three 4's (plus a 3 and a 2), so Knowledge and Compassion; a know-it-all Sage with a soft spot. I like to share knowledge, but some of my most intense interactions seem to be more about Compassion. [Maureen] Love can be boring -- LOL [GeraldineB] LOL [antinius] LOL, yes Jesus [Maureen] Hey -- i'm not that far along ...yet [Maureen] :) [antinius] We're all on the path. [GeraldineB] c'mon, Maureen . . .you're a fricken Old 7 Priest -- of course it's "love" [Maureen] but my OLs say it differently [MEntity] Do you find your math reveals your strength as Power, Maureen? [Maureen] Power and Knowledge are tied -- at 3 each [Maureen] Inspiration is 2 [Maureen] or Love [antinius] I get Power and Knowledge from you sitting at a computer in LA, Maureen. ; ) [Maureen] ...and I feel that I play all the positions that Michael mentioned [Maureen] This is frickin hard! LOL [MEntity] We see your math as being 2 Inspiration, 3 Action, 2 Expression, and 1 Assimillation. [Maureen] so I suck at math now! [Maureen] LOL [Maureen] I know what I did -- I included my Mercury Bodytype (that gave me an extra Expression) [Maureen] So yes then -- it would be Power (at 3) Michael [antinius] Power doesn't follow the instructions! [Maureen] it doesn't look like it! [Maureen] The description of the Knowledge position reads as my Life Task -- this isn't easy to figure out! [MEntity] We think we have you, Maureen, as: ROLE and CENTER = Inspiration; CASTING, LEVEL, and ATTITUDE = Action; AGE and GOAL = Expression; MODE = Assimilation [Maureen] Yes Michael -- so Power is my natural position then? [MEntity] If you are having trouble discerning your Life Quadrant Position, you are comparing too many contexts of behavior. Your pursuit of the Life Task is a personal pursuit, and not a general contributory scenario. [Maureen] I'm obviously in the negative pole of my Attitude! (Supposition) [MEntity] However, in your case Maureen, however much you relate to all of the Positions, you may be able to safely say that your default Life Quadrant Position is strongly motivated by GETTING THINGS DONE, effecting tangible results, a constant movement, activity, and calibration for making things happen, not only for yourself, but how those things for yourself affect others. [MEntity] You cannot simply sit by and watch. [Maureen] That sounds spot on Michael -- as tiring as that can be :) [Maureen] ...at times [MEntity] We say that affectionately, not as a fact. Of course you can sit and watch, but it is not in your nature to do so. Even when you choose not to affect a change, it stays with you as somehow your responsibility to do so. [Maureen] yes it does [Maureen] Thanks Michael (with affection) :) [MEntity] If it is valid that your Life Quadrant Position is naturally POWER, then you may find yourself at the hub of a great deal of responsibility, obligation, and demands, even if not explicitly asked of you. [MEntity] And we do not mean this in the sense that one may have duties for a job, but as a part of the basic dynamic of relationships. [Maureen] Yes - I understand [antinius] Michael, would you agree that my default is Knowledge and my secondary is Compassion? [antinius] Or do I have them reversed? [MEntity] Rod, yes, we see your assessment as valid. [antinius] Knowledge, then Compassion? Any further insights on that? [MEntity] Rod, when we share the next set of information in a moment about these Positions, it may shed further insight. [antinius] OK thanks. [Janet] I believe for my default one-on-one position knowledge is probably correct and I concur with love as the secondary. But the Power position resonates strongly -- perhaps that is more the position I gravitate to in groups and 'situations'? [MEntity] Our next set of information may help understand this. We will continue, then. ****** [MEntity] Working with what you have calculated as your Primary Life Quadrant Position, consider what we have to share next, and then bring in the different positions to which you resonate or may feel is more accurate than your calculated position, if that is the case for you. [MEntity] What we share now is a consideration for "taking responsibility" for your Life Quadrant Position. [MEntity] In other words, regardless of any other Position to which you resonate, consider that your Life Quadrant Position is in effect and has an effect, with or without your realizing it. That is because Life Quadrant Positions are in effect whether consciously or not. [MEntity] So if one's Position is Knowledge, regardless of how dismissed that strength is, Knowledge Position will tend to find it expected of him or her to "know better," to have insight, to give advice, to figure things out, to be examples, to be available with wisdom or information. [MEntity] The Knowledge Position will also tend to think that others cannot provide the same kind of insight and knowledge about life that is not already known by the Knowledge Position. [MEntity] Power can tend to be drawn into positions of resource, availability, and presence even as they try to focus on their own work. [MEntity] Power can tend to develop a resentment for the demand and expecation on their energy, if this is not managed well. [MEntity] Love can tend to be drawn into positions of intimacy with complete strangers that often requires awkward and uncomfortable establishing of boundaries, and often expected to be the source of inspiration in others' lives. [MEntity] Compassion can tend to be expected only to listen, but not to contribute. And often to listen to the same things, over and over. Compassion is often "just supposed to be there," but not necessarily do anything. [MEntity] All of the things we described above are parts of the "job" of each Position, and those expectations and demands on the Position do not go away. One can only learn to own his or her Position in more effective ways. And the way to do this is to become more conscious of that Position as it plays out in your life, and then to own it, to be responsible for it, and to let it be a strength, not a burden. [MEntity] You may not like that you are a Power Position, but you are good at it, and when managed as a strength, it becomes free from the weight of demand and expectation. [MEntity] You may not like that you are in a Knowledge Position, but you are good at it, and your ideas, examples, and expression matter to those around you so much so that you are often used as a model for many behaviors in others. [MEntity] You may not like that you are in a Love Position, but you know how to bring out the best potential in yourself and others, and when you dismiss this impact, you can squash potential, both in yourself and others. [MEntity] Taking responsibility for your Life Quadrant Position is profoundly empowering, not only as you embrace the strength as it is experienced by others, but because it frees you to be more of who you actually are, and by contributing more from how you CAN, instead of how you think or wish you can. [MEntity] Think of your Positions in these highly-simplified terms: [MEntity] I AM LOVE - I can help you get started [MEntity] I AM KNOWLEDGE - I can offer you a map [MEntity] I AM POWER - I can help you get there [MEntity] I AM COMPASSION - I can ride with you [MEntity] In those simplistic terms, how do each of you find your calculated Positions resonate? [Janet] I think Power resonates with me far more than Love, although Knowledge is almost certainly my primary [MEntity] Janet, which is your calculated Primary? [Janet] Knowledge. [Maureen] well I am a "super" coach -- so yes it is resonating now Michael [antinius] I think I got it right--Knowledge, with Compassion "in a pinch" [GeraldineB] I was truly laughing at "I can offer you a map" -- that is so me (and it's the way I practice the pinched secondary, compassion) [antinius] I LOL'd at the map comment too! [Maureen] I am noticing Michael, that these positions don't line up with the Support Circle positions (by title). [MEntity] NOTE: if one were calculating and found a tie among the results, we would suggest doubling the count for Essence, first, and if this were not to help, then double the Attitude. If those do not work, then you might resort to simple self-assessment of which tends to be the Primary. [MEntity] In what way do you mean, Maureen? [Maureen] well everyone is their own Power position [Maureen] and Compassion in a Support Circle is much more "outspoken" -- the Quadrate Compassion position reminds me of the Love Position in the Support Circle [antinius] Michael, is there also a “You may not like that you are in a Compassion Position” statement? [Maureen] for example... [MEntity] Yes, since Life Quadrant Positions are part of a vast network dynamic among fragments, they are only contributory, and not central to any Configuration. [MEntity] Maureen, the Compassion Position can be outspoken, but only after listening, regardless of what Configuration. In terms of Life Quadrant Position, the scenario for being in the position to listen is far more often a part of the life than one who only has that Position as part of a Configuration with a task. [MEntity] Rod, we can say: You may not like that you are in a Compassion Position, but your capacity to care matters, makes a difference, for both you and the receiver, even if it inconveniences you for the moment. Caring does not mean having to dimiss your own needs, but dismissing the needs of others does not serve your own, either. [MEntity] We will open the floor for a round of questions regarding this subject before we close, if there are any questions. [GeraldineB] Does the design of Personality include weighing the factors for OLs based on what the Quadrate will be like? [MEntity] Geraldine, Configuration Positions outside of Life Quadrant Positions are relative to the project or task, and while one's position within those Configurations can be served by the strengths of a Life Quadrant Position, they are not dependent upon them. [MEntity] Someone may have a Life Quadrant Position of Love, but shine in a Position of Power for one Configuration, and as Knowledge in another, and fall into the Eccentric Position when at a party. [MEntity] The Positions of Configurations are defined and fulfilled more by their relative position in that group, rather than by the inclinations of a Personality and Essence. Consider the difference between how one may apply oneself in the work place versus how one may behave at home. [Maureen] So how would Power Position in a Quadrate fit into the Support Group -- as the individual takes up that position? [MEntity] Maureen, if one has a Life Quadrant Position of Power, and is the Power Position in a Quadrate Configuration, then one would simply be playing a Power Position in a Configuration who happens to also have a Life Quadrant Position of Power, and who is always at the center of her own Support Circle. [MEntity] Though the same term is used to describe these Positions among different groups, there is no conflict or confusion among them as they are played out. [Maureen] So I wouldn't necessarily play an actual position in someone's Support Circle -- but I would help them to actualize their own position on Power -- like Self-Empowerment? [MEntity] If it helps, think of the Power Position within the Support Circle as the EMPOWERED Position, while the Power Position in other contexts is the EMPOWERING Position. [Maureen] Yes -- Thank you! [MEntity] Your Life Quadrant Position has little relevance to what Position you may play in someone else's Support Circle. [Maureen] I can see that now -- Thanks :) [MEntity] We will conclude here for today, then. Each of you can take your time to consider how you play your Life Quadrant Position in life, and consider how others may randomly play them in your own life. These positions are more obvious when interacting with those not in your personal circle, but as you are a general participant in life. [MEntity] However, when you gather in groups of 4 or fewer, you may also see your Life Quadrant Position come to light, and those of others.
