  1. May 16, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel You and your attitude [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the topic to be that of Attitudes as they are defined within our teaching. Of course, there are 7 Attitudes, as there are 7 of every other Overleaf in our system. The 7 Attitudes are the Neutral or Assimilative PRAGMATIST, the Inspirational Stoic and Spiritualist, the Expressional Skeptic and Idealist, and the Actional Cynic and Realist. The Attitudes are specifically your personal means to interpret reality. The Attitudes could easily be said to be The 7 Basic Philosophies, as much of what is our more complete system now has been found isolated in various teachings throughout the ages. Each Attitude can easily find a correlation of a philosophy, which can shed a great deal of light on your personal Attitude. The Attitude could be said to be the “pivot” or “hinge” within our Personality System around which all other facets of your Personality move. Because the Attitude is intrinsically linked to your Intellect, the Attitude can “make or break” your sense of peace, trust, wholeness, etc. Whether you are Intellectually Centered or not, you still have an Intellect, and that Intellect works hard to interpret and make sense of reality. So, too, does your Attitude. It will go a long way toward freeing you from the traps of the Attitude and Intellect if you understand that it is not necessarily “the point” to “make sense” of reality, because literally, it is the opposite: your senses MAKE reality. Though we say your Attitude “interprets” reality, it may be more effective to understand that your Attitude “filters” reality. Both are valid descriptions. Though an Attitude is far from an imposition, it CAN be a limitation if you find you are not able to function within your ;particular Attitude's full spectrum of use. It can easily be said that, from the absolute worst struggles, to the most trivial of frustrations, these experiences are directly a reflection of how you are using your Attitude. When your Attitude is in its Negative Pole, regardless of what that may be, you have determined that you have completed your need for input for your basic philosophical stance. When the Negative Pole of the Attitude is in control, reality loses its creativity and flexibility, and instead becomes a tangled mess that must be understood immediately, even if the means to do so have not even come to pass. We can speak generally of Attitudes because the basic experience is quite consistent; it is the HOW of it all that is different among them. For instance, an Idealist in the Negative Pole and a Cynic in the Negative Pole will both share the struggle of trying to understand something within a limitation of input, but the Idealist will “naively” bumble his way through, while the Cynic will use “denigration” to destroy anything outside his comprehension. In the case of the Cynic, we do not mean an attempt to literally destroy, but that the Cynic will actively fight to remove any contradictions from his determined perception. In the case of each Axis of Attitude, you will find when they are in the Negative Pole, the reaction of the Attitude is to eliminate the Positive Pole experiences. When the Stoic is “resigned,” he will use inspiration to lead others into resignation, to validate his own perceptions. The Spiritualist will use inspiration to impose his beliefs on others as strongly as possible, to remove the need for verifying his perceptions. The Skeptic will simply express strong suspicions, riling others into an insecure space of perception, to remove the need for investigation. The Idealist will naively take on lofty goals and intentions, either with or without awareness, setting himself up for failure, so as to remove the experience of coalescence, which is the bringing together of parts to make a whole. The Cynic will actively remove all that contradicts his own determined perception. The Realist will insist that her perceptions are based in fact, even against the strongest of feedback that she is inaccurate, so as to remove her from having to be Objective. In addition, the Pragmatist will continue doing things, thinking about things, expressing things, exactly as they have worked for her to her satisfaction, regardless of the fact that input is dictating that there are more practical ways for the same things. The reason the Negative Pole is so strongly interested in eliminating the Positive Pole experiences is because the Attitude is the “brother or sister” to the Chief Features. We speak of these traits with anthropomorphic descriptions, only for the sake of relating, but we do not wish for you to mistake this means of description as if these parts of you are a separate consciousness. We do not say that they are, nor do we imply that they are. Because of our limitation of time, we will quickly point out what we believe may be the most important concern for your understanding of the Attitudes. Since the Attitude can be your prison or your means to complete freedom, we believe that when you are struggling in any area of your life, the first place to look would be to your Attitude. In understanding your Attitude, you would clearly be able to see that you may be in the Negative Pole, but the fastest and most effective means to move yourself out of it, is simply to choose a different angle of perception. Since the Attitude, while in the Negative Pole, so intently seeks to remove the experience of the Positive Pole of your Attitude, the “trick” is to use the Positive Pole of the Attitude that shares your Axis. If the effort is made, within minutes your life can change; or at least your attitude toward it, which can then lead to changing your life. When the Spiritualist is lost in her Beliefs and continues to find she is blocked from real, fulfilling Verification of her perceptions, it can free her to “slide” to the Positive Pole of Stoicism, which would be Tranquility. When Belief is in control, there is usually a strong need to get others to share in the belief, even if you, yourself have not Verified its place in your life. When the Spiritualist slides to Tranquility, she relaxes and surrenders gently to her perceptions. This then allows her to Verify things for herself, instead of finding others to do it for her. On the other hand, the Stoic may have given up on his life, resigning, which is a passive stance to the life. If he were to slide to Verification, he would be able to find that much of what he has resigned himself to is not even valid anymore as an imposition. We may not be able to go through all of the Attitudes with examples, but we will note that the Pragmatist has the ability to slide to ANY of the other Attitudes as a means to free himself from Dogma. We will now take any questions you may have, so we can respond to you, rather than use your time teaching what may already be available in print. QUESTIONS [MDFSage_Val] Can you describe a “spectrum of use” for an Idealist, or is this more an individual fragment thing/issue? [M_Entity] An Idealist lives within the spectrum of being “cursed” and “blessed” with the constant want for improvement. The Idealist has such a wider vision of most things that he can see patterns where others cannot. Within those patterns, he can also see how they can be improved, manipulated, or altered for the better. The struggle then comes from the Idealist being able to see the big picture, but not putting the effort into defining the STEPS it will take to get there. Therein lies the spectrum from Naivety to Coalescence. An Idealist can see that he has potential to run a marathon, but instead of taking the steps to prepare, he simply, naively runs in the marathon, until he collapses from the pain he could have avoided. [Suzanne] Michael, How would be best for an idealist & a spiritualist to relate to each other, one expresses while the other inspires? [M_Entity] The Spiritualist will always interpret relationships in terms of how inspiring they are, while the Idealist will interpret the relationships in terms of how much improvement is coming from them. [Suzanne] Rather interesting, as it can compliment. [M_Entity] If the Spiritualist feels her relationships are not inspiring, or that she is not inspiring, she will lose interest. The Idealist must feel as if the relationships are somehow improving each other, or he will feel they are not worth it. [Suzanne] Thank you, I understand better now [M_Entity] We are using pronouns randomly, for the sake of grammar. We are not intending anything to be specifically assigned to a gender. [Suzanne] Understood that too, thanks. [M_Entity] The Spiritualist could be said to be “cursed” and “blessed” with the philosophy that everything has potential. Within that spectrum, you will find the experiences ranging from blind faith or belief to valid verification of those potentials. We will point out one last point for your consideration before concluding tonight. When you are in the Negative Pole of your Attitude, you may find you are behaving more and more like the Attitude sharing your Axis, or attracting, or attracted to, those who share your Axis. This is your inherent move toward balance in perception and even if this is done without awareness, it manages, at least, to continue to give the option of choosing how you interpret your reality. So, an Idealist may tend to be very critical and skeptical as a means to balance his Idealism; the Spiritualist may find she is becoming less and less emotional and more passive as she seeks balance for her Beliefs. We shared as much as we could within your time allotted. We have much more to say about this topic, of course. We will conclude here. Good Night to all of you.
  2. NWM - Aug 15, 2015 - Blind Spots of Attitude Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to you each of you. We are here, now. We will begin. ClaireC: Hi! Diane_HB: Hi Michael! MEntity: Today we will speak to the "blind spots" of your Attitude. Though we have clear delineation of each Overleaf in terms of polarities, there can come a time in the evolution of an Essence when all of the "tricks" of fear, Chief Features, and Negative Poles are exhausted as methods defense, division, and isolation. This can take many lifetimes to exhaust because every lifetime brings with it a new Personality, so all of these methods are still "new" every single time. Fearful choices and reactions can be used over and over and then overcome, only to be found anew in the next life. However, the older the soul, the thinner that "veil" is between the Personality and Essence, and you begin to live AS Essence. And Essence knows all of the tricks of fear. We speak in convenient terms here that may seem to personify fear as something independent from you, but that is not the case. We know you know this. As the Personality evolves in a lifetime, and particularly when studying and applying a teaching such as this, it can become quite obvious and clear when one is in the Negative Pole by definition, and choices can be made to remedy this. These means of navigation, choice, and self-observation are quite beneficial to reducing unwarranted fear. And while this can reduce the hold of Chief Features by up to 90% and beyond, it will not address the blind spots that each of you develop. These blind spots are your downfall. They are your bad days. They are your "people suck" scenarios. They are your "I suck" scenarios. They are your haunting undercurrents of pointlessness, or your ominous dread that you keep in check. In short, they are your means of evading responsibility for your fear. The fear we speak of will be relative to your Chief Feature, but we likely not speak to those today. We speak of the means by which that fear gets a hold and becomes acceptable to you in ways that perpetuate the hold of Chief Feature so that it is comforting, addictive, and "sensible." Before we continue: do each of you know your Attitude? Name your Attitude now, if you do. PeterK: Skeptic. Diane_HB: Pragmatist ViP: Spiritualist Maureen: Realist ClaireC: Spiritualist Bobby: Pragmatist Diane_HB: Troy/Geraldine are Idealists MEntity: Keep in mind that you may not like what we have to say today. Diane_HB: LOL ViP: hmm MEntity: We will prioritize details based on the Attitudes here, then expand into those that are not listed, if time permits. PRAGMATIST The Pragmatist, basically, interprets the world in terms of WHAT WORKS. The Pragmatist at his or her best has a keen sense of efficiency and elegance. We have defined "elegance" as that economy of energy that gives the greatest amount of return for the least amount of expenditure. When the Pragmatist is in the Negative Pole, it can be quite obvious as Dogma. The Pragmatist thinks that it is his or her way "or the highway," or they simply continue to repeat and impose methods that work for themselves even as they may not work for others. There are many ways that Dogma can show up, but it is often fairly obvious in that it is immovable and unwavering in perception. However, the Blind Spot can be far more "sensible" and more difficult to call out within the self as a Pragmatist, or for others to call out in the Pragmatist. Because the Pragmatist sees the world in terms of WHAT WORKS, their Blind Spot can be related to any area where they do not wish to do that work. If it is someone else's problem, it is THEIR problem. If it is not an issue that the Pragmatist struggles with, then it is a silly issue. If it is a struggle that the Pragmatist has overcome, then why cannot others do the same? The Pragmatist sensibly falls into Dogma by dismissing, distancing, and even denigrating the oh-so-inefficient struggles of others. The Pragmatist Blind Spot may then be described as INSENSITIVITY. It is the tiresome extra effort necessary to inefficiently empathize. Diane_HB: ? MEntity: Solutions to struggles seem quite obvious to the Pragmatist who is not directly involved with that struggle or that type of struggle: simply stop struggling. Do something else. Walk away. Do not respond. Let it go. When the Pragmatist finds this is his or her response to the struggles of another, it may be the Blind Spot in effect that allows him or her to justify Dogma. This is also true of his or her own struggles. There are times when this same policy is imposed upon the self. Why am I upset? That is so inefficient. I can just walk away and leave it alone. Or "suck it up." The emphasis shifts only to WHAT WORKS and away from the WHY of what is being experienced. Life is inefficient. Experience is not organized. It is messy. For the Pragmatist, the Blind Spot convinces him or her that if it is a struggle, if it is messy, if it is not efficient, it is not worth it. It does not work. As Pragmatists, if you find this oversimplification in effect, you are probably being blind to the messy depths of an experience that is either yours to experience, or yours to help another through. You are being Insensitive. Do the Pragmatists relate? Bobby: Oh yes! Diane_HB: Yes MEntity: SPIRITUALISTS The Spiritualist, basically, sees life as if it has never been seen before. There is an awe as an undercurrent to the basic philosophy of the life when at its best. The Spiritualist looks for signs, interconnectedness, resonance, and meaning in "everything." This is why they must VERIFY, the Positive Pole. So much of "everything" can be interpreted as messages, interconnectedness, signs, etc., that life can become a din of symbolism that drowns out all of the messages. When the Spiritualist is overwhelmed by the messages and meaning of life, they can retreat into an isolating system of BELIEFS that removes the noise of life, and simply decides what is true, decides what people mean, decides what will happen, decides what happened, and that is that. If the Spiritualist believes it, then it happened. That is that. Now the world is interpreted through that system of Belief, and the inconvenience of Verifying lets the Spiritualist simply decide what is true. This is the obvious polarization within the Spiritualist, and most older souls begin to realize this and make the effort to Verify. They do not let themselves simply decide what is true; they ask questions. They question themselves. They are OK with being wrong. They allow room for nuance and context so that nothing is only True or Not True. However, the Blind Spot then comes into play as these polarities come to be navigated more consciously. For the Spiritualist, this Blind Spot is EXCUSES. The Spiritualist can tend to justify his or her behaviors, attitude, and choices by deferring to "the universe" as the force behind the reasoning for those choices, attitudes, and behaviors. By "the universe" we mean circumstances, behaviors of others, obligations, responsibilities, expectations of meaning and message. Though all Attitudes may be use this method, it is often the Spiritualists who "leave it up to the Universe," or "we'll see what happens," etc. The Spiritualist takes a passive seat to the efforts necessary for choice. This allows two things: Beliefs to stay intact, and responsibility to be evaded. In other words, the Spiritualist may find that he or she always has an excuse. If the Spiritualist is upset, there is a "reason." It is not merely that he or she interpreted events through Belief. If the Spiritualist does not succeed at an expectation or intention, then it is "the universe" who decided this, not that the Spiritualist merely need alter or adapt efforts. And so BELIEF remains unquestioned. Do the Spiritualists relate? ViP: yes ClaireC: Oh yes. MEntity: IDEALISTS The Idealist, basically, sees life in terms of how it SHOULD BE, or how it can be improved. Though all fragments will navigate with some level of expectation, the Idealist navigates almost entirely based in expectations. Expectations are healthy. They are a means of navigation and help one to shape choices and actions and feelings in response to the possibilities of life. Both Spiritualists and Idealists are quite familiar with rocky terrain of expectation, but the Idealist takes this to a new level. The Spiritualist can tend to have expectations of the world around him or her as a means of navigating potential, but the Idealist can tend to generate expectations from others of himself or herself that the Spiritualist can avoid. The Idealist in the Negative Pole can be obvious in his or her naive approach to fulfilling an ideal. They set high expectations without considering the necessary components that need to be in place for coming together to fulfill the ideal. While the Spiritualist will make Excuses for his or her disappointments and failing of potential, the Idealist will COMPARTMENTALIZE. The Blind Spot, however, we will describe as REPERCUSSIONS. The Idealist, when in Naivety, will distance himself or herself from the Repercussions of failed expectations by using compartmentalizing. The Positive Pole of the Idealist is a Coalescing of parts that must come together to fulfill the ideal, so when the Idealist is in the Negative Pole, the parts become divided and compartmentalized so that the whole picture can no longer be seen, experienced, felt. The Repercussions are avoided, ignored, or distanced from the self. This is an insidious form of Naivety Troy can attest to his relating to all of this. As may Geraldine. REALIST The Realist, basically, sees life FOR WHAT IT IS. Sometimes "it sucks" and sometimes it does not. When the Realist is in the Positive Pole, it is not personal. They are OBJECTIVE. Life happens. Choices have consequences. Actions have impact. Feelings are important, but not the truth. The Realist knows all of this and interprets life and experiences accordingly. It can be quite obvious when the Realist falls into Subjectivity because then things become personal. The Objectivity is lost and Subjectivity is in effect. The distance and clarity is lost in favor of how personal something has become. When things get personal for the Realist, it is unnerving, disorienting, and even paralyzing, though sometimes a lashing out can occur to help force a false distance to return. By "personal" we mean that the individual can no longer see himself or herself as PART of a dynamic, but begin to see themselves as sucked into middle or as the focus of the dynamic The Realist in the Negative Pole can be quite obvious as their defenses tend to rise quite high. But as the soul grows older, the Realist can begin to recognize these defenses and transform a "personal" experience so that it moves from being Subjective to being Objective, and the Realist is returned to be a part of the dynamic, instead of the focus or center of it. But the Blind Spot of the Realist is INCONVENIENCE. The older soul Realist can navigate the precarious balance between Objectivity and Subjectivity, but heaven forbid you interfere with their convenience. This can "set them off" into Subjectivity faster than even your pressing and imposing problems that spill unwelcomed into their space. The more inconvenient you are, the more you can send the Realist into the Negative Pole. The more inconvenienced the Realist, the more he or she can feel he or she has been imposed upon in ways that lock them into Subjectivity. We do not say this mockingly. It is not a superficial term we use here. Convenience is a prized state that the Realist works hard to secure in his or her life. They know life can be hard, so they hone the life into ways, paths, and patterns that uphold the quality and benefit of convenience. This is a natural byproduct of having such an Attitude, and it is a healthy response to the acknowledgement of the range of experience that life can bring. Hardship and struggle WILL happen, so why not secure as many conveniences as possible to help balance that out. This helps the Realist, then, remain Objective. But it can become their Blind Spot, as well. If inconvenienced, Subjectivity can take hold, and then the defenses come up. Does the attending Realist relate? Maureen: Yes ClaireC: And the friend of the Realist too. ? ViP: ? Maureen: I can see all the Blindspots of the other Attitudes, as well. ? MEntity: If we are doing our job correctly, all of these will be clearly represented among you and around you. Diane_HB: I can see them ClaireC: Very clearly. MEntity: SKEPTIC The Skeptic, basically, sees life as if it to be inherently questioned and disproven. Put another way, the Skeptic sees life as something to Investigate. When the Skeptic is in the Positive Pole, the Skeptic is comfortable questioning assumptions, patient in his or her search and research for answers, and does not experience this constant questioning as anything more than a means to learn, understand, and build insights. The effort to disprove is not an effort to tear down, but to ensure that there is strength in the proof. The questioning is a means to flesh out meaning and depth, not to strip of value and integrity. The reason the emphasis is on disproof over proof is because there are far more claims in life than there are lack of claims. When the Skeptic falls into SUSPICION, he or she does not stop questioning or disproving, but does so from the premise that there are inherent and intentional deceit and hidden truths involved. The Blind Spot of the Skeptic, then, is DISSATISFACTION. This is a sense that nothing can truly satisfy the questions, the doubt, the investigation, and leaves the individual locked in Suspicion. The Skeptic can find that this Dissatisfaction is sensible and then continue in Suspicion, never truly learning or expanding in insight, but cycling through layers and layers of presumed deceit and lies and misinformation. This is another of the Attitudes that often has to learn that it is okay to be wrong, or that lack of solid validation and empirical evidence does not imply deceit. Does the attending Skeptic relate? PeterK: Yes, very much so. I have several files on my computer titled, "Investigation of ..." ClaireC: lol MEntity: We know we have not covered all Attitudes, but these are for those in attendance. We will now take your questions. We have about 10 minutes remaining. QUEUE IS OPEN ViP: Hi Michael, if a person slides from one Attitude to another, does that make them open to that Attitude's blind spot, as well as their own "native" blind spot? MEntity: The native Overleaf is key, but the additional Blind Spots can become double-blind spots. If you notice a Blind Spot that is not of your resting Attitude, you can use this insight to then see how that is serving that default Attitude. Bobby: Claire was forfeiting her question, so without elaborating due to time restraints, would you at least name the blind spot of the other two Attitudes: Stoic and Cynic? MEntity: STOIC - DISCONNECT; CYNIC - OBSESSION. PeterK: I often have trouble seeing possibilities. Is this related to my Skeptic blind spot? MEntity: Inherent in the Ordinal Attitudes is a more focused range of perception and interpretation. Inherent in the Cardinal or Exalted Attitudes comes the broader interpretations that require a greater sense of possibilities. Your focus is not a blind spot. You would not be able to truly Investigate if a wide range of possibilities were acceptable to you. It is a strength of Skeptic to narrow possibilities before they propagate into meaninglessness. This does not mean you will always find your answers, but it does mean you will have a greater probability of this than other Attitudes that may allow room for a wide range that is never validated. However, if Dissatisfaction has narrowed your sense of possibilities to such an extent that you are no longer searching for answers, but only searching for evidence to support your suspicions, then, yes, it can be related to that blind spot. We will conclude here for today. Good day to each of you. Goodbye, for now. Blindspot for STOIC was obtained by JanetE on 8/19/2015: MEntity: The Stoic, basically, sees the world as if it has all been seen before. Most things are not surprising. Most people are not surprising. Enthusiasm is not denied, but it is a prized resource that is used quite carefully. When the Stoic embraces the mundanity of life, there is a kind of TRANQUILITY that is embraced. Things and people are not required to be surprising. They are not required to entertain or be more than they are. There is a kind of peace in the familiar, rather than a boredom or resentment. This familiarity is not something that is clung to, but rather accepted as a force in life that is as meaningful as anything new and exciting. However, while the Stoic embraces the mundane, it is done so with the understanding that surprises will happen. They are as built into a life as mundanity. If the Stoic goes too long without a surprise, then the Attitude can fall into Resignation. If the Stoic is overwhelmed with too many surprises, then the Attitude can fall into Resignation. The Stoic, then, has her Blind Spot as DISCONNECT because she is either tired of the same old things being repeated and presented as if new and surprising when she presumes she already knows all there is to know or experience regarding that thing, or the Disconnect comes because too many new and exciting surprises are tossed into the mix that pushes the Stoic into Resignation. It becomes sensible to the Stoic to simply Disconnect, turn off, tune out, because it is all going to be the same things again and again anyway. It becomes sensible to the Stoic to simply Disconnect, turn off, tune out, because too much is too much and rather than navigate it, it simply needs to stop being the focus. When the Stoic finds she is tuning out, turning off, Disconnecting, it is likely because she has found it difficult to process too much of the same thing, or too much of a new thing. The return to Tranquility can come when the "too much" is removed from the equation, and is replaced with moderation, rather than shut down. In addition to this, the Stoic in Disconnect and Resignation can do well to remember Experiential Differentiation. This is the truth that, regardless of how many times one experiences something, there is always potential for that experience to bring something new, meaningful, and valuable. There is more we can say on this subject, of course, but this is a quick synopsis. Blindspot for CYNIC was obtained by Kurtis on 8/23/2015: MEntity: The Cynic, basically, sees the world in terms of opposing the obvious or appearances or common assumptions. The Cynic knows there is almost always more than meets the eye. The Cynic, then, is always looking beyond the surface, always willing to look in the opposite directions, always interested in the contents, not the packaging. This is CONTRADICTION. When in the Positive Pole, the Cynic simply Contradicts the obvious. This is similar to questioning, doubting, and allowing room for being wrong. However, when the Cynic falls into the Negative Pole of Denigration, it is because he cannot accept that what is known is all there is. The simple truth or the lack of complexity can trigger Denigration, or the breaking down of something or someone beyond its capacity to break down. It is Contradiction for the sake of contradiction rather than as a means to know more. The Cynic learns that sometimes, and more often than not, there is nothing more, no hidden or secret meaning, no blind dichotomy. Something or someone is simply what can be seen, experienced, and known. So the Cynic questions and then that is that. However, the Cynic can develop a Blind Spot that prompts them to continue questioning, continue breaking something or someone down, and this turns into an Obsession. Some of the most outlandish conspiracies are perpetuated by Cynics in Obsession. Denigration is seen as a necessary evil that is noble and important to impose, even as it means making up and stretching facts beyond recognition. The Spiritualist and Cynic are similar in their fall into "beliefs" in this regard.

    Energy Report: JULY 2012

ENERGY REPORT JULY 2012 As a cycle of pre-measured time unfolds, such as a year, it can be anticipated in understanding similar to describing and anticipating any Personality. Any system, such as another Personality system, Astrology, and even frequencies and meanings of color, could be used to describe these cycles of time, as they could also be used to describe geographical locations, communities, etc. because if there is a basic understanding of any system, it can be superimposed in a way that is quite useful and empowering. The greater the understanding of the system, the greater the understanding of that which is being superimposed upon. However, a vital, key awareness in any process of interpretation or superimposition is that “the map is never the terrain.” In other words, we can describe the year in Overleaves, Astrological terms, Color, etc, but that year will never exist through only those words; you still must live through the year as a way to know that year. This is true of any map. The ATTITUDE in our system of Personality is the individual’s “map” of the terrain through which they will journey. It is your system of superimposition and interpretation. The Attitude is the lens through which one perceives, interprets, and archives his or her life, but IT IS NOT THE LIFE. When one looks at a map of New York City, it is not the same thing as walking its streets. When one looks at the stories of history books, it is not the same thing as having been there. When one looks through the eyes of his or her Attitude, it is not the same thing as what is being seen. We point this out because the shift in July moves in emphasis from the MODE to the ATTITUDE. Your Attitude is your collection of maps. One’s Attitude is never just one map, but many, and always a collection that supports the same basic system of interpretation and superimposition that you are working to explore. This system is described by the name of the Attitude, One begins to collect maps of the terrain of their life soon after the 2nd Internal Monad, or when one actually begins to develop his or her own stable mobility. The maps used at 10 years old are very different from the maps used at 21 or 45 or 75, but they can be strikingly similar, with the maps building in extensiveness rather than in replacement, though a complete replacement of one’s maps can and does change, depending upon imprinting. As with our own Overleaf System, or any mapping system, the system of interpretation and superimposition is fairly neutral, and cannot determine the experiences that one will have when actually exploring the “terrain.” For example, the Idealist or a Spiritualist Attitude do not have an easier time, or a better perspective, than a Cynic or a Skeptic, but these different Attitudes do have very different systems of interpretation and superimposition; very different maps. One of the reasons we find that the cycles of a year move through an emphasis on the Attitude is so that all Attitudes may have a period of time each year to “see” the maps that may not be their own. We might compare this to one person becoming rather dependent upon a Subway Map of New York City, but then finding themselves looking at a map of walking tours through the Parks of New York City. It is not that one is better than the other, but having exposure to both (and more) can greatly enhance one’s understanding of the city, and this can be said about your own exposure to the different Attitudes and maps that are used around you. You will always return to your own map, but there would come to be a sense of these other maps that can be carried with you and understood, even if not your default map. This allows you to understand the greater collective experience. To deny this expansion would be similar to someone describing New York City only terms of its Subway routes, denying all maps of waterways, Restaurants or Parks or Museums, etc. There is a necessity for multiple maps for a single terrain, because a single terrain offers up multiple layers of experiences. Your Attitude is not the truth, it is merely your means of exploring the truth. Soul Age often corresponds to the number of maps one can carry, if you will. The younger the soul, the fewer the maps, and the more invested and engrossed one is with the maps that are one’s own. However, as the soul grows, the Personalities begin to carry around more maps, or put in terms relative to our Teaching, the Attitude expands. As the soul ages, its corresponding Personalities seek to understand more and more maps that are not one’s own, and this is why we share the Energy Report. Understanding the collective world as it is being explored through a dominant, collective Attitude, helps one to expand upon one’s place within the largest map of all, that eventually includes all of you. As July unfolds, the collective emphasis is moving into the Attitude of Spiritualist. This means that the shift of perspective, or the system of interpretation and superimposition, is one toward POTENTIAL and POSSIBILITY. As with any move through cycle, there tends to come an “entrance” through the more focused, restricted, and often fearful Negative Pole, and eventually a move into the broader, more inclusive, often loving Positive Pole. In this case, it would mean that July will probably begin by exploring Potential and Possibility through the more restricted, fearful, and focused lens. The perspective would be one that still emphasizes Potential and Possibility, but may tend toward the worst-case possibilities and potentials. This is not a bad thing. It is natural, and is intended to be a helpful perspective. One cannot explore the greater and preferable possibilities and potentials without, first, exploring the potential pitfalls and possible hurdles. The Negative Pole of Spiritualist is described as BELIEF. Belief is (consciously or unintentionally) confusing what MIGHT be true for what IS true. Just because something may be true does not mean that it is true, but Belief will insist that something is true, despite all lack of experience, and it often requires a rejection of feedback, facts, and discernment. If Spiritualist Attitude is about “what could be,”, then BELIEF is the insistence on “what could be” as being the same thing as the truth, instead of remaining as a potential truth. Belief is synonymous with Faith, or more accurately, Blind Faith. Beliefs are systems of interpretation and superimpositions that you have decided are true, but either have no evidence or support for that truth or perspective, or have rejected all evidence and support for the contrary. Belief could be understood as a map that has no terrain, or when one insists that the map IS the terrain, and blindly moves about based upon determined symbolism, rather than on feedback, facts, validation, discernment, etc. BELIEF is not necessarily a “bad thing,” as the Negative Pole is entered precisely for the process of discernment, validation, feedback, etc. It is an opportunity to look at what you Believe vs what is true. It is only when one decides to remain there that this Negative Pole is “negative.” Having a set of possibilities and potentials is something that experience helps to weed through so that what is true for you can come to light, not only in terms of a Personal level (what is true for you), but a Global (what is true relative to Earth’s species, sciences, and nature) and Universal level (what is true of the Universe regardless of what is true for a species or planet), as well. Holding on to those possibilities and potentials (whether “good” or “bad”) is not the same thing as remaining in the Negative Pole. Once one has an understanding of all that he or she thinks or knows is possible or potential, then the aim is for the Positive Pole, which is VERIFICATION. Verification is the process of validating what you may have been told, or what you may have decided, is possible and potential. It is the measuring of the map against the terrain, and either updating the map, or replacing it. Verification allows one to see what is true, rather than simply insisting on what is true. Again, if you carry around a set of possibilities and potentials that have no validation, that is not the same thing as Belief. Some truths take time and energy to uncover, build, discover, validate, and know. Everyone carries around a great set of potentials and possibilities, but it is only when there is no interest in Verifying these that there comes to be fear, blind faith, and Belief. And so it is that July may come in as an awkward mix of sensing and anticipating exciting prospects, but finding oneself directing attention toward potential problems or pitfalls. Knowing these are possibilities, you can go forward and Verify, but if you treat these as truths before that, you have fallen into Belief. Remember that while there is an emphasis on the Attitude now, it is being built from the previous emphases of the Goal and Mode, and the Role and Center.... The “season” of the Attitude helps to put together all that has come to be experienced in the first part of the year, by not only and brings in the mapping systems for helping to determine where to go, next. We think that as July unfolds for our students, it might be experienced as an extreme between overwhelming disorientation and striking clarity. This would depend upon how much you might feel you must sort out as you pivot into a direction that is of your choice. As this year is one that we described through the Role of King, Emotional/Instinctive Centering, Goal of Growth, and Passion Mode, then it goes that we are seeing a great portion of our students passively or actively stripping the life of anything that goes against a sense of Mastery, Inspirational Perception, Evolution and Meaning, and Self-actualization, or bringing more of “you” out of you and into the world. July may be the first month where this begins to sink in; that you may be leaving a great deal of “you” behind that is no longer supportive of the directions you would like to grow. If you find that July has launched into a state of overwhelm, we suggest that you consider using your own Attitude, whatever that may be, to interpret your life in the best possible light you can, because the collective Attitude of Spiritualist is supportive of this. For those who are experiencing the greatest overwhelm, we suggest that you are seeing the results of a shift you have been longing for, for a very long time. The next three months would be of some importance to you for stabilizing yourself as you pivot, but allow yourself the freedom for these changes and invite yourself to expand your map, or your collection of maps. When one has been in a momentum for a long time, the shift can seem shocking, but there would be very little chance of avoiding that. Sometimes when one has been traveling a road for a long time in the dark, when the lights come up, the turn that had always been intended is “right there,” and to swerve onto the nearest off-ramp is the only way to get onto it, which means you may find yourself thrown about a bit. If you find that July has launched into a kind of state of clarity, we suggest that you consider using your own Attitude, whatever that may be, to consciously choose your priorities. You may not be in the same position as those who are overwhelmed, but you could easily fall into this if you do not follow through with your own perspective of clarity toward those things that have come to be understood as your priorities. Prioritizing will not eliminate your other potentials and possibilities, but will simply help to fulfill the potential and possibility of that which is most important to you. Keep in mind that our Energy Reports here describe the experiences of those who tend to be actively participating “in the world,” but those who may have more insular lives might not find much relevance here. Helpful thoughts over JULY might be: 1) I CAN HAVE ANYTHING I WANT, BUT I CANNOT HAVE EVERYTHING I WANT This is an important phrase for those seeking to accomplish or fulfill anything that requires time, experience, patience, energy, and effort. Possibilities are always infinite, but you can only do so much, and experience so much. When one presumes that one should be able to have everything one wants NOW, it can halt the progress and effectiveness of nearly every effort. When one presumes one should have all of the priorities of possibility, or none at all, progress and effectiveness can greatly diminish. Organizing possibilities into priorities helps create a circuit of effectiveness and progress that can help one to remain inspired, to grow, to master, and to enjoy this life. 2) THIS MAP IS NOT THE ONLY MAP As July unfolds, it will be helpful to remember that, no matter how invested you are in your truth, even if backed by experience, there are other versions of interpretation and superimposition that exist just as validly as the one with which you have come to be so invested. Often, the greater the change in your life, the more likely the necessity for you to upgrade your way of interpreting your life. You will never be without your map, but you can sometimes find yourself lost in it, instead of living it. Remembering that your map is not the only map, and that the map is not the terrain, can greatly free you to understand and enjoy any great changes that come into your life. DATES OF INTEREST JULY 4th - 7th - this is not a Divergence or a Convergence, but something we might best describe as a “window.” This period of time might be experienced as exploring several possibilities, either in the imagination, or through conversations, etc, or it may simply come as a kind of floating, limbo-like period. These “windows” tend to be generated when there is a sense of a greater collective shift in the year ahead, and this helps to align or move away from that greater shift. JULY 27th - Another “window,” with an emphasis on comparing perspectives (internally or externally) among those closest to you about plans for the rest of the year.

    Energy Report: JULY 2010

ENERGY REPORT JULY 2010 July marks the shift of emphasis from the MODE of the year to the ATTITUDE for the year. We remind you that the energy represented by the GOAL and MODE does not dissipate, but that it is built upon. In this case, the Attitude of Spiritualist is building upon the Goal of Dominance, and the Mode of Power, and of course, the Role of Sage for this year. July through September tends to be a "season" that explores the collective philosophies and general filter of perception that most are using in terms of looking at, and interpreting, the world and world events. Though everyone will have their own filter of interpretation, personal philosophies, Attitudes, etc, there is still a general perception that is generated from the masses, often reflected in world events, news, politics, and other shared phenomena. The Attitude is the "hub" of every Personality. The entire Personality is affected by the Attitude. The Attitude is central to the Personality in the same way that a hub is central to a wheel; the Personality is only ever as strong and capable of movement as the strength of that hub. The Attitude is like the hub in that if it is weak, bent, or heavy, it can throw off the movement of the wheel in ways that range from complete lack of navigation, to a crippling roll. It could be said, then, that these months of July through September are kind of opportunity for tuning up the personal Attitude by examining the collective Attitude. For 2010, we see the collective Attitude best described as SPIRITUALIST. Each of the Attitudes describes one of 7 basic philosophies that have come to be described and studied through history. Spiritualism could be described as the philosophy of the immaterial, intangible, and non-physical as potential forces to consider. This philosophy can range from the more obvious spirituality that is often contained in religion, and personal values that include the concept of a soul with realms beyond the physical, to the intangibilities, hypotheses, and theories of science, along with thought, emotion, and anticipated long-term consequences. The Spiritualist philosophy does not always manifest as stereotypical religious, pagan, new age, or other metaphysical spirituality, but can manifest as a consideration of possibilities, long-term consequences, and the factor of thought and emotion as it plays in the world of action and result. For the most part, we see the latter as how Spiritualist is manifesting in 2010 among people. Regardless of your personal philosophies, or your Personality's Attitude Overleaf, the world is "looking through" the lens of the Spiritualist at this point, with an emphasis on the more mundane aspects of this philosophy. The British Petroleum oil geyser has helped to bring this Spiritualistic Attitude into focus for many people across your species. Many "lessons" are being learned on many levels among people because of this event. This is not to say that the British Petroleum accident was part of any plan to "teach a lesson," because that is simply not the case, and in fact, is never the case with disasters or catastrophes on any level. Personalities and Souls often seek to extract lessons from painful or tragic experiences that are part of the nature of the Physical Plane, but these tragedies are not imposed upon the animals, plants, and people simply for the sake of "learning." They are things that "just happened," and one can learn from, or ignore, these events, and one can learn with or without tragedy and harm. An aside: True "accidents" are rare, and have quite traceable patterns of cause and effect, but this ability to trace the patterns does not mean that such accidental events are generated from some conscious or unconscious intent to learn from them. Often what are deemed "accidents" are merely results that are unwanted, unexpected, and unintended, but still a result of patterns that can be traced back through choices and actions. Keep in mind that we do not consider anything an accident that was anticipated by Essence or Personality, which gives one a wide sphere of vision. A True Accident is one that is not anticipated by Essence or Personality. Learning occurs after-the-fact of any event, whether that event was controlled and anticipated, or chaotic and a complete surprise. The Spiritualist Attitude has the greatest capacity for True Intelligence as it has the natural inclination for grasping the long-term consequences of thought, feeling, and action. It may be thought that those who are professional scientists and researchers are those who would not have Spiritualist as an Attitude, but something more along the lines of Skeptic or Realist, but that is not the case. Truly scientific thought comes from the imagination, visions, and the by-passing of logic that is necessary for breakthroughs. All Attitudes have the capacity for True Intelligence, but Spiritualist defaults to embracing the emotional, intuitive, perceptive forms of navigation, which are important elements of True Intelligence that other Attitudes can tend to reject, resist, or limit to specific contexts. The Spiritualist does not restrict intelligence to logic, and embraces the perceptive and intuitive, and this can be its strength or its weakness. The Positive Pole of Spiritualist is Verification, which allows for possibility, anticipation, and potential, but elaborates upon those qualities and validates them through the combined use of logic, intuition, and feeling. Validation for the Spiritualist is done through a loop of awareness that seeks to match possibility, pattern, and probability against actuality. The Negative Pole is Belief, which throws out all logic, intuition, and feeling and simply decides what is valid, or accepts what has been deemed as valid by others. What we have seen since the blunder that released the oil geyser is a rather somber Spiritualistic look at the far-reaching consequences of this event, and even a look back at the choices that have been made as a species that may have led to this event. For those in the Positive Pole of Verification, this may have provoked a soft look at how one is living, how one's choices add to the collective choices that can build and prompt, even if indirectly, larger events in the personal live, and world events on larger scales, such as the oil geyser. Consequences can become clear to those in Verification, not because there is an obvious, linear track between cause and effect, but that the cause and the effect are obvious, and that is enough. The questions and concerns that have crossed the minds of those interpreting this BP event through the Positive Pole are asking how, if at all, they can break their personal part in that chain of events. The Positive Pole brings a strong, collective sense about this event, with very little sense of blame for its manifestation, but more of a sense of awakening to the critical mass that has led to this kind of event. There may be strong feelings and thoughts about how the situation is being managed in the current state, but that is different from the examination of the patterns that have created the potential for this scenario in the first place. In other words, even the oldest, wisest, and enlightened of souls on the planet participate in daily conveniences that use resources that are drawn from the planet in less-than-savory ways. This may seem daunting to the older soul as a concern, but with some examination, and some embrace of the larger, long-term consequences of smaller, short-term choices and actions, considerations can come into focus that are meaningful. This applies to the personal life and its own "disasters" that can seem overwhelming. As you may see in the review from our last few reports through this channel, this Spiritualism is building upon the examination of Power Mode from the last "season." Those in the Negative Pole of Belief may manifest as having fallen prey to the belief in easy blame, anger, rejecting his or her part in the collective patterns that lead to consequences such as these. This inclination toward Belief is often couched in tones of indignation, dismay, disheartenment, self-righteousness, and of course, blame. This is not to say that those involved with the BP incident are not to be held accountable, if those who can do so will choose to do so, but to presume that one is not a part of the pattern that has led to this event is to cut out a vital part of the equation that could lead to alternatives and solutions. If you are reading this, you are more than likely a part of the pattern that led to the possibility and eventual manifestation of this event. Some fragments may stay away from blame, not because they grasp that it is useless, but because the Negative Pole also leans toward more immediate, self-gratifying Beliefs that avoid feeling, thinking, and acting. Such concepts as "positive energy," "healing light," and "sending good thoughts," etc., while having some validity, do not have validity for most, and certainly do not generate valid solutions for the problem that has prompted these kinds of responses. These concepts are often used as a means to opt out of utilizing perception, using any real thought, and act as an avoidance, suppression, or dismissal of feeling. There is a lack of any overview of consequences, emphasizing making oneself feel better as the priority in the guise of helpful intentions that require little beyond a few quick phrases. All "positive thought," "good intention," or "healing," when valid, must not only be a sustained state that is emphasized, but it must include Physical Plane follow-up and participation in some form. We can say that very little, if anything, happens when a simple "positive" glance of thought, feeling, or gesture in the general direction of an illness, catastrophe, or accident is offered up. This kind of problem-solving and life management is a symptom of Belief, the Negative Pole of Spiritualist. All that we have described here in the context of the BP Oil geyser can be applied on personal scales, as well. As July unfolds, so will the questions and examinations of the larger patterns of the life, and the look at the thoughts, feelings, and actions that contribute to those larger patterns. As that examination and questioning becomes more obvious, we would think that our students might begin to feel uneasy, slightly anxious, and begin a revisiting of some of the original ideas that had been intended for this year to manifest. To the extent that one begins to feel "back on track" before September ends, is the extent to which one would be free of the October through December "season" that examines the collective Chief Negative Features (fears). In light of what we have shared here, we can say that, in short, it can be helpful to understand: 1) A SINGLE CHOICE/DECISION DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY WORLD, EVEN IF THAT DIFFERENCE IS NOT IMMEDIATELY DISCERNIBLE OR TANGIBLE, AND IT CAN MAKE ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE. 2) UNWANTED, UNEXPECTED, ACCIDENTAL, and PAINFUL PERSONAL AND WORLD EVENTS CAN BE MANAGED, REDIRECTED, TRANSFORMED, or SOLVED THROUGH THE REQUIRED MIX OF THINKING, FEELING, and DOING. Those phrases might be helpful for bridging and building upon the explorations and experiences gathered over the first part of your year. KEY DATES over JULY: July 27-30 is a Nexus that is a Convergence of parallels focused on Breakthroughs, Solutions, and implementing long-term plans related to those. KEY PHRASE over JULY: "EVERYTHING I DO, FEEL, or THINK MAKES A DIFFERENCE." We realize we have extended upon the theme from our last report, but this is intentional and relevant as the transition into the Attitude takes root.

    Ask Michael: February 2015

ASK Michael Live Chat February 1, 2015 Channel: Troy Tolley JeanAU: Hi Michael fragments of your Entity perform the same work, that is channeling? Are you involved in other activities, if so would you mind telling us what they are. Also do you feel any individuality. MEntity: Hello, Jean. All of our fragments are involved in channeling, but in different tiers that help us to accomplish this. In addition to those various tiers, we are also involved in any number of activities and explorations. "Life" as a Causal Entity is as diverse as life as a Physical fragment. In terms of our work through channeling, we have the first tier that works on holding our grounding or Anchoring. These are the fragments who hold our place in time and space relative to our students. Then we have a tier that works on our Cording, or the links that branch out from our fragments to other fragments. These are sustained with students and channels. Then we have a tier that manages our Agreements. Then we have a Tier that handles all Akashic Record research. Then we have our tier that does the work of Communication. Then we have our tier where we sustain our own ideals and vision and aim for evolution, or our Application tier. Then we have our Learning Tier, where we study with our own teachers. All of these Tiers: GROUNDING, CORDING, AGREEMENTS, AKASHIC, COMMUNICATION, APPLICATION, LEARNING, contribute to the dynamic that you experience as "channeling." This is also the case for us in our incarnations as Transcendental Soul. Fragments from among our entity rotate through these tiers. As for other activities, we have everything that would be familiar to you as "travel," "vacations," study, dreaming, bonding, arts, etc. No sense of individuality is ever lost, it is only enhanced to a degree very difficult to comprehend while Physical. It is as difficult to comprehend as it is to comprehend that "you" are a conglomeration of cohesive cells and atoms and microbes that contribute to all of who "YOU" are. We are, at once, completely whole as an Entity, but acutely aware of ourselves as parts within parts. No lifetime or Personality is lost. It is embraced and integrated. Never lost. JeanAU: That mAKES ME FEEL BETTER JeanAU: I believe we were sloth-like in the beginning on Sirius - over millions of years can you give us an idea of how we looked at various stages? MEntity: The species that was "sloth-like" started as large, lumbering, vegetarian, quadrupedal about the size of what you know as Elephants. These evolved into smaller and smaller versions rather rapidly over time, relatively speaking, and because of fruitarian/vegetarian diet, and the change in plant life over time, the species evolved into greater and greater use of the forelegs into forearms, moving from lumbering and into climbing. By the time of our transfer, we were still not entirely bipedal, and quite like Chimpanzees might be seen today, so our splicing with primates was the easiest. Because of the splicing from one species to another, the evolution of Human will always have a "missing link." Maureen: (Question via Rolf) What happens when someone releases a part, or parts, of their body post mortem for reuse? There are reports that organ recipients take over personality traits of the donor. If one is aware that the physical body is the manifestation of spiritual energy it would seem natural that something like an “energetic signature” would persist like a "psychic fingerprint". Maureen: What does this mean for the donor after death and what does this mean for the recipient? MEntity: We have always told you that the Personality is genetic. It is not merely "energetic." It is in the cells of the body. It is a series of switches, so to speak, that are on or off in combinations that are the base Personality. In addition to this, we have always said that the body is a local storehouse for memories, wounding, healing, etc. This is because memory is not local to the brain, though the brain manages it. In addition to this, there is imprinting, which is also not merely "energetic," but a kind of behavior modification that reaches into cellular levels. So an organ that remains alive and moved to a new body will retain whatever memories, programming, and imprinting. This retention is easily overridden, but can take as long as 7 years. Depending on the recipient, whatever has come along with the organ can be integrated, overridden, or ignored. However one would prefer to describe this phenomenon, it is very similar to how a Walk-in process is fulfilled. Except, in reverse. Rather than an Essence walking into a body, a body is walking into an Essence. So to speak. This is a topic that can be explored in a multitude of directions. Do you have further questions for now? Maureen: No, that was perfect Michael. JanaK: Hello Michael, could you please comment on validity/feasibility of pranic nutrition as described and allegedly practised by Henri Monfort, Prahlad Jani, (pratially?) Jasmuheen, and many others? I keep hearing about it and though I know it defies all we have been told about nutrition, the people I hear about it from don't give me impression of lying JanaK: Prahlad Jani was also medically observed in a hospital and confirmed not to eat of even drink for I don't know how long. I know Troy thinks it's bullcrap :) Can you see if these claims are valid and how is it possible if they are? Are they lying? MEntity: Troy's lack of "belief" is well-founded, from what we can see. We know of no humans living without food who can live longer than the usual time frame for the body that lives with no food. No credible proof of this has been offered within the very simple range that would be necessary to exemplify this. Humans do not photosynthesize for their primary nutritional purposes, and no Physical body simply lives off of "spirit energy." It is true that there is a life force that animates the body and is the difference between "living and dead," but that force is not unidirectional. It is part of a circuit. And while there is nourishment from spirit, and light is vital to Humans, neither of these can keep a body alive. Of course these fragments are lying. Either to themselves, to others, or both. In the observations that we know of, foods are still being eaten, however small in quantity. It is true that one can live off of very small quantities of food and extend the life beyond a breaking point if there were no food, but that quality of life force would diminish greatly, and require tremendous relinquishing of participation in life. Bodies are affected by beliefs, this is true, but the will to live does not trump the nature of Physical reality. If that were the case, the delusional man who truly believes he can fly would not crash, or the sheer number of individuals consciously or subconsciously terrified of crashing during a flight would bring down that aircraft. We know that many things are possible, and that the universe is never conclusive, however static its momentum, but if there are Humans who are living with no food and sustaining a healthy and active life by choice to feast only on light and breath, we know of no one. In most cases where this belief is upheld, there is delusion, escapism, and extreme variations on Arrogance at work. JanaK: Interesting, as the people claiming it seem quite humble MEntity: The greatest of arrogance is wrapped in self-deprecation. If you feel you resonate to the claims, it is because there is truth to the possibility, as there are many organisms who can live in such a way. They are not Human, however. If one were to begin training the body to live on minimal food, it would still not be because he were living on light or breath. He would merely be living on minimal food. brian: Hi Michael. I was wondering if you could comment on how the three types of centering affects relationships and how exchanges are processed and interpreted (or misinterpreted) ? MEntity: As with all Overleaves, it is more about the Poles than about the actual Overleaves, in terms of how these work together or work against each other. A Moving-Centered individual partnered with an Intellectual can work very well together from their Positive Poles, while two Emotionally-Centered individuals in the Negative Poles might destroy their relationship. In terms of Centering, this is even more flexible in that when one is in the Positive Poles, there is far more flexibility, as well, so that one is not habitual in Centering. Centering is not static. It can move through all Centers. One can move through all Centers. If you have two Sentimental Emotional fragments together who cannot let go of the past, then each will simply drag their "baggage" around with them and into the relationship, for example, and often presume the other person must do the work of either trumping their own baggage, or the work of relieving them of that baggage. Or two "Reasonable" Intellectuals who constantly justify their behaviors and/or choices without reaching any Insight about the choices and behaviors of the other. That being said, when there are two fragments in a relationship coming from two different Centers, the third Center would tend to be the common ground for help in either bringing resolution, excitement, breaks from patterns and habits, etc. So if an Emotional and Intellectual are in a relationship, some of their greatest common ground might come from the Moving. What that means is different for different fragments. For some, it might mean something as simple as DOING things together. Not just thinking and feeling. Many Intellectual/Emotional pairs can fall into ruts, routine, or second-guessing if there is no action to explore. For others it might mean creating something tangible together as representation of the relationship. So you would want to look to Productivity, or finding a new solution, direction, pattern, anything that might bring a different result. We cannot delineate all combinations here today, but we think this is a start. Bobby: Regarding the last paragraph in January's Energy Report "What Dreams May Come" would you provide some additional detail as far as what you had in mind on that last sentence: Tracking your dreams over January and through March may provide you with some bizarrely wonderful entertainment, at worst, and profound symbolic and prophetic patterns at best MEntity: We were being fairly literal here. The dreams might be entertaining, which is likely the case if you find waking state references that were from your day, or they may be prophetic in that they describe one of three scenarios: highly probable, highly improbable, or test probabilities. Some of which may come true. Does this address your question? Bobby: Um, ok, I was just testing the waters there MEntity: We understand. We were simplistically rather literal in that instance. DavidB: I noticed that Entity 1/2 has by far the most fragments planning to attend the first TLE gathering in September and that Entity 1/7 has the second largest group of fragments planning to attend. I've also noticed that some in 1/7 (perhaps more than usual?) seem to have their ETs in 1/2 and vice versa (including myself). I remember it being said that most fragments in Entity 7 of one Cadre usually have Essence Twins in the Entity 7s of other Cadres. Is there a unique tie between 1/2 and 1/7 to account for these apparent phenomena, or am I seeing something that isn't there? MEntity: A bout half of Entity 7 is paired with other Entity 7s, particularly of the next Cadre. This leaves about 600 paired across its own Cadre. Entity 2 is not more unique in its twinning with Entity 7, but it happens that 2 and 7 have tended to have a push/pull, love/hate, go/stay type of dynamic between the members when incarnated. Entity 7 is quite keen on completing external monads with as many members as possible from other entities, and entity 2, having been quite an eager and outgoing bunch, tend to be available quite often. In that sense, there is a kind of unique "Heart Linking" in high numbers between fragments of those two entities. Kurt: Hi Michael, Attitudes appear in social situations, so I was wondering if you could talk about how Spiritualists appear/act in socializing. MEntity: In the positive pole, Spiritualists will tend to be listeners and hear you out, no matter what you are saying. They will tend to be open-minded, and give you the space to share your truth, without feeling compelled to agree with it or challenge it. They do not feel you are asking of them to believe anything, and they do tend to trust that you would do the same for them. In the negative pole, Spiritualists may tend to use you as a launching pad for sharing anything that might add an "oohh or an aahhh" to the exchange. The sharing is far more conclusive and sometimes even competitive in terms of challenging beliefs. In other words, they can tend to stretch the truth just to hear you react in awe, or to drown out your own beliefs if they are not interesting to them. In social situations, look for the Spiritualist to be the most indecisive, or the most decisive if in the negative pole. In the positive pole, they would help make the decision, but will not impose one. There are more symptoms of the Spiritualist in social scenarios, but this is a bit of an idea. We will conclude here for today.
  6. Ask Michael Live Chat Open Floor Q&A November 2, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We were not "kidding" about the wave of short-circuiting issues over the next month or so. It is rather pervasive and growing. MEntity: We will leave the order up to Geraldine to manage. We will simply say that you may begin your questions. We are ready. TyroneT: My question is about human psychology. I know the Michael definition or explanation of male and female energy is a matter of focus versus creativity, but I don't remember exactly where I found it (it could have even been from another channel), but I'm sure I've seen somewhere the statement that one difference between human males and females is a tendency towards certain centering. TyroneT: One area that this knowledge for me would be applied are in the issues of the LGBT community, especially the transgender community, so if it's possible, I'd like connections to that. I doubt a full-enough elaboration will fit into fifteen minutes, so just a tidbit or foundational info from which to base later session questions on would be enough. TyroneT: Official Question: What are the psychological differences, tendencies, or characteristics inherent in having a physically male or female body/brain/subtle body? MEntity: First, we find there is little consistency among Gender correlation with Centering, but high consistency with cultural paradigms. Cultures and societies are predominantly of one Centering and/or Part over the others. Centering is not biological in any way. The Centering of an individual is not settled upon as a habitual form of navigation until the 2nd Internal Monad, and is then fairly stable, however, Centering is designed to be flexible and to change, not to be static. MEntity: Next, in response to your "official" question, we will say that the only differences between bodies in terms of male and female are the degrees of consciousness. The less-conscious a Personality, the more it's identity, behavior, processes, and navigation are based from the base functions of the sex. MEntity: To help in understanding this, a male body without an Essence is 100% Male, 100% focused, 100% linear, 100% the stereotype of the pervasive ideal of what it means to be a male Human on Earth. However, the Energy Ratio of an Essence alters this. This alteration begins at birth, and takes about 7 years for a full adjustment. MEntity: There will never be, and never has been, a Human who is 100% male or 100% female. TyroneT: ok. I'll ask about various lbgt phenomena later MEntity: However, regardless of one's Energy Ratio, if the Essence is rejected, then, say, if one has a High Female Energy, but is in a Male Body, that Male/Focused Energy will tend to dominate. MEntity: And by dominate, we do not mean that it would make the individual masculine or necessarily functioning by standards of behavior attributed to "males," but it will dominate in many ways, subtle or obvious. It will be aggressive, forceful, reactionary, etc. MEntity: This subject is far too complex and intricate for us to cover in 15 minutes. We know we have not covered a response to your question, but we suggest this be a topic for further exploration. 01:02:04 PM JanaK: Hello Michael. Can you please give generic tips for someone looking to move a country for the sake of personal and professional growth and adventure - other than obvious research? JanaK: I.e. how to gauge whether a particular place would be good for me - other than visiting it? JanaK: Or whether such radical move would even be good for me? JanaK: Or whether there are more desirable vectors where I am or where I am considering moving to? MEntity: Jana, to make a decision such as this, and to do so "blindly," would mean using one's intuition. Using one's intuition means LISTENING. By "listening" we mean to say that intuition is soft, subtle, and impulsive. It is not loud, pushy, or compulsive. So if you feel compelled to move somewhere, feel pushed to do so, and feel distracted by it, we suggest allowing that to come up and be acknowledged, then set gently aside as you listen to see what is beyond that noise. Your intuition may say the same things, but you just want to check in with that less-distracted, panicked, or anxious part of the self for validation of one's sense of direction. MEntity: In addition to this, if your compulsion to move is motivated by a feeling or idea that life will be better somewhere else, check in with yourself to see if that is valid. A change of scenery and geography can do wonders for altering the life in positive ways, but only if that change of scenery is the actual part that is key. In other words, moving to another location does not leave YOU or your life behind. You will still have to deal with your feelings, history, beliefs, wounds, etc. Our point being that if the move is motivated by escape from the self, then it is often more helpful to direct the movement internally, not externally. MEntity: If you can check in with yourself and listen to the softer voice of impulse and creativity within, and it is not hijacked by anxiousness and overeagerness to escape, then your next step is to look at the locations that appeal to you. MEntity: These locations appeal to you for various reasons, including potential, Agreements, Sequences, Vectors, etc., but they are only a part of the story. MEntity: Potential, Agreements, Sequences, Vectors, can be anywhere, and you could throw a dart at a map and these would spring up in activation relative to wherever you move. But there is validity to your sense of attraction to an area because those areas are already active with those elements. Though you can find Agreements, etc. anywhere, it can make a difference that they are already active and negotiated when you arrive. MEntity: So once you have concluded that you are choosing to move because you want to move, and not as a means of escape (unless there is a valid threat), then you can narrow your choices down by the simple sense of attraction to locations. Narrow these down to 3, and put up a symbolic image of each so that you can see these on a daily basis. MEntity: As you pass these symbols on a daily basis over a week or so, note which one your eye is drawn to the most. Be mindful that your eye may be drawn only because of the image you picked, but this will not matter. Once you notice which one is standing out, and you play with the idea that this is the location you will aim to move, you will feel the pang of resistance to that place versus one of the others. MEntity: From there, it is a matter of honoring your choice. 01:22:08 PM Kurtis: Hey Michael, like last time with Saturnine body type health, would you please elaborate on the martial body type health? Thanks. MEntity: Martial Body Type Health corresponds to the Adrenals of the body. This means that the Martial Body Type can be greatly affected by its capacity for management of stress. In fact, while stress is a factor for all body types, in the Martial Body Type, it is far more immediately converted into effects. MEntity: Various forms of Catecholamines are released on a regular basis in response or reaction to experiences. This range of hormones are responses and reactions to stress. These tend to have the Martial Body Type health in a constant state of fight or flight, regarding experiences. MEntity: Hormones that manage various minerals and water content of the body are connected to the Adrenals, and have direct effect upon the individual's blood pressure. Other effects from the Adrenals are reflected in the metabolism, as well as the differentiating processes between the male bodies and female bodies in Androgens. MEntity: When this is balanced, the Martial Body Type is long-suffering, enduring, and can manage to navigate some of the most debilitating obstacles of health and existence. MEntity: When this is imbalanced, it can show up as extreme lethargy, constant stress and anxiety, hyper-agitation and over-reaction, along with extremes of anger, temper, and depression. MEntity: In some extremes, there can come to be a developed hatred and self-loathing for the body as it is represented by its gender, and this can lead to self-mutilation and rejection of the gender. MEntity: Overall, the Martial Body Type is all about the physical manifestation of all energy that passes through that body, whether in thought or emotion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catecholamine 01:44:04 PM scott: Michael, i have a question about ORIGINALITY...i'm sure many artists suffer with this block of needing to be original. though upon looking at my favourite artists i wouldn't say their work is at all without influence...so what is it we are responding to when we say something is original? Is it the enthusiasm from the artist making it? Is there such thing as originality? I would love your take on originality to help put an end to this ancient crisis of the artist once and for all." MEntity: Originality is valid. Originality does not preclude influence and inspiration. There is a difference between originality that is inspired, and one who is copying or imitating. If one of our students were to write a book about his or her experiences of our teaching and conveyed that in a way that teaches what was learned, it will not matter that the core of what is being taught did not originate with that student. What matters is his or her original take on that, as he or she was inspired. Not even our own teaching originates from us, but is utterly original. We only teach our take on the truth, love, and energy that originated beyond us. But our teaching is utterly original in its form. MEntity: Originality is what one does with one's inspiration. MEntity: Beyond this, the judgments will continue to be subjective in terms of what is "truly" original, or not, but the dividing line fairly clearoriginality is inspired, while non-originality is a copy, imitation, or mimicking. MEntity: For instance, one does not need be inspired to put together a model airplane, or to sing a song that is a pop formula created by someone else. One may feel inspired, but the form taken is not. It is copied. It is mimicked. It is an attempt to capture what was inspired in the original. MEntity: Andy Warhol was an artist with originality, and he exemplifies the precarious, but clear line between copy and creation. MEntity: Consider one more thing when pondering originalityyou are utterly original. You are utterly unique. You are a single idea that will never be replicated. Yet you are not new. You are an evolution. You are built upon inspiration. You are not a copy, though "you" have existed multiple times. Art is similar. MEntity: Let your art, your originality, be an evolution built upon inspiration, and you will relieve yourself of this perplexing and distracting concern. 01:58:41 PM Juni: From a previous transcript Juni: Though it is rare, there are some fragments who do not settle on one particular Chief Feature, but these are usually cases of what some call "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder," Juni: Schizophrenia," and "Multiple Personalities." This is due to a breakdown in communication among the Physiological aspects of self (Obsessive-Compulsive), the Emotional aspects of self Juni: (Schizophrenia), or Intellectual aspects of self (Multiples). Juni: Can you elaborate further on this with regard to OCD and how it might be possible to get the parts "back in communication" again? MEntity: The breakdown in physiological aspects of the self has to do with the preoccupation with the idea that nearly every single thing one does has a direct and relevant effect upon something else. It is a distraction with absolute control. It develops out of the sense that one is directly responsible for everything in some way. In many cases of "OCD," there was a point in the 2nd Internal Monad where the psyche drew a connection between a terrible thing and a reckless action. MEntity: That reckless action could have been anything, and often it is a completely unrelated and irrelevant action. MEntity: So the body and personality begin to breakdown the sense of cohesive picture of the actions in the life. To manage one part of the life, action in another must be kept under control, and so on, cascading in effect across the life so that the individual is mired in meaningless and repetitive actions that act like a web woven through the life that keeps it in precarious balance. MEntity: To bring these aspects back into cohesion would depend on the extent to which there is fracture. MEntity: For clinical OCD, intervention is often required, with a retraining of the mind and actions so that one can learn that life is not precariously held in balance by these repetitive and consuming actions. MEntity: For milder cases of OCD, it can be a matter of asking for help from a loved one, and making the effort. The help would come in the form of the loved one playing a trusted, but random force in the life. He or she would alter or interrupt patterns, and the one with OCD would do his or her best to LIVE THROUGH IT. MEntity: This is a highly simplistic description of the process, but over time, after one lives through a rearranged towel rack, a messy book shelf, and unmade bed, or had their hand washing, counting, tapping, etc. interrupted enough, the body begins to return to a state of cohesion. MEntity: Again, this is a subject that may require a more dedicated format, but this is our response in this limited format. 02:14:23 PM brian: Hi Michael. How can one create an effective anchor to ground themselves during anxiety or stress? MEntity: There are two ways to do so, Brianinternally and/or externally. It would always do one well to nurture the internal grounding, first, considering that external forms are not always accessible, but it is helpful to identify external forces for grounding that one can use for support. MEntity: Internal grounding methods to counter stress and anxiety would vary from individual to individual, but one can turn to the Attitude for help in determining methods for help with anxiety and stress. MEntity: When one is anxious or stressed, it is often a result of falling into the negative pole of one's Attitude. MEntity: The key to grounding for recovery from that stress and anxiety can come from the positive pole of the partner Attitude. brian: How might that work for the Pragmatist? MEntity: For example, the Spiritualist has fallen into BELIEF. Anxiety can come from deciding what is true over knowing what is true. When one decides what is true without knowing what is true, it can be quite precarious in terms of anxiety and stress. To help the person in BELIEF to move back into VERIFICATION, the use of TRANQUILITY (the positive pole of Stoic) can be key. MEntity: Internal Tranquility can come in the form of conscious breath, stopping all action, closing the eyes, and visualizing flying or floating. External Tranquility can come in the form of a bath, a conscious shower, with the flow of water moving over the body coming into focus to help dissolve the hardened beliefs that are causing stress. MEntity: Then the Spiritualist can ask himself or herself again, "is this really true, or do I just think it is?" MEntity: From that grounded space, Verification can come. MEntity: In a more dedicated format, we can go through all of the Attitudes to offer suggestions, but this is the general idea. Each of you can come up with creative ways to exemplify what it would mean for you to internally and externally use the Positive Pole of the partner Attitude as a suggestion for how to ground yourself from stress and anxiety. MEntity: Look at that partner Positive Pole and ask yourself what it would mean for that to be implemented internally and externally. We trust your creative ideas would help you to find what works for you. 02:30:24 PM DianeHB: Hi Michael, could you elaborate on the Mercurial Body Type Health like you did for Kurtis? MEntity: In much the same way that the Martial Body Type reflects an immediate translation of action/movement into form in the body, the Mercurial Body Type can reflect immediate translation of idea/intellect into form in the body. The Mercurial Body Type health correlates to the Thyroid, and is a communication system throughout the body, since the Thyroid regulates key hormones that relate to brain chemistry. MEntity: For those with Mercurial Body Types of Health, it will be vital to these bodies to always express ideas, to communicate and share and exchange in ways that are not just to satisfy the personality, but to keep the body healthy. Mercurial Body Types are highly susceptible to degradation of health if expression is blocked, ignored, or distorted by misunderstanding or lack of capacity to be clear. MEntity: Mercurial Body Types must keep the ideas and thoughts flowing in and out of the brain in a way that is as vital to that individual as the flow of blood in and out of the heart. MEntity: For those who suffer from an imbalance of the Thyroid, it is often reflective of an imbalance in the life regarding lack of permission for expression, or lack of stimuli for ideas, or panicked and over-eager, hyperactive processes that cannot be expressed well. MEntity: The Thyroid regulates key hormones relative how the brain uses these, which are adrenaline, ephinephrine, and dopamine, so when these are out of balance, the body can start to take on weight alterations that reflect the weight of thoughts, ideas, expressions that are not moved out of the body. MEntity: We will conclude here for tonight. We know that we can only respond briefly to some of your questions that are quite broad, or requiring further exploration, so consider these responses as invitations for further exchange, and not as conclusive responses. MEntity: Good evening to each of you.
