[Extracted from OMW: The Truth, Love & Energy of You & Your Life] MEntity: The Spiritualist SEES LIFE AS IF THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE. All Attitudes and their Positive Poles describe the rising above what is seen, and knowing that there is more, in some way. For instance, the path to truth for the Spiritualist, then, is VERIFICATION, because he or she will measure what is seen against experience, information, history, etc., rather than just presuming that because it is seen, it is true.
[Extracted from Ask Michael: November 2014] Brian: Hi Michael. How can one create an effective anchor to ground themselves during anxiety or stress? MEntity: There are two ways to do so, Brian- internally and/or externally. It would always do one well to nurture the internal grounding, first, considering that external forms are not always accessible, but it is helpful to identify external forces for grounding that one can use for support. Internal grounding methods to counter stress and anxiety would vary from individual to individual, but one can turn to the Attitude for help in determining methods for help with anxiety and stress. When one is anxious or stressed, it is often a result of falling into the negative pole of one's Attitude. The key to grounding for recovery from that stress and anxiety can come from the positive pole of the partner Attitude. For example, the Spiritualist has fallen into BELIEF. Anxiety can come from deciding what is true over knowing what is true. When one decides what is true without knowing what is true, it can be quite precarious in terms of anxiety and stress. To help the person in BELIEF to move back into VERIFICATION, the use of TRANQUILITY (the positive pole of Stoic) can be key. Internal Tranquility can come in the form of conscious breath, stopping all action, closing the eyes, and visualizing flying or floating. External Tranquility can come in the form of a bath, a conscious shower, with the flow of water moving over the body coming into focus to help dissolve the hardened beliefs that are causing stress. Then the Spiritualist can ask himself or herself again, "is this really true, or do I just think it is?" From that grounded space, Verification can come.
The Magic of Healing Originally published on July 17, 2012 Although I have spoken to Michael several times about Healing, every time I see something on John of God or other "over-the-top" healers, I start wondering what is actually going on. Do the "rest of us" have the same potential? What is the Magic of Healing? From a Private Live Chat – July 5, 2012 Maureen: have wondered if I could be an even more “powerful” healer – like John of God for example. But when I think about it – I wouldn’t want the numbers of people flocking to see me – like they do to him – in droves. Is that holding me back? Do we all have the same potential? Am I or could I be as powerful an “energy” healer as he is? I don’t think this is Self-Deprecation talking – I am really wondering about this. MEntity: First, True Healers are only facilitators. Ever. It does not tend to be about "power" or "being powerful," and tends to be a matter of igniting an individual's own capacity to heal. This is true even of the most allopathic of healings. MEntity: When one who can Heal then hooks into a broad belief system that is so insidiously inculcated and imprinted, such as the concept of a religious God who is personal and powerful, then the healing that comes can be rather "easy" for triggering. MEntity: Those who would be healed by that healer would be those who share in that belief system. MEntity: The presence and actions of the healer, along with the belief system, and along with the eagerness for results, often trigger valid healing properties that can then be measured. Maureen: That's interesting – but I don't want to buy into that belief system – just to get better results! MEntity: However, in your case, you are stripped of interest in catering to most belief systems that perpetuate beliefs that are often "bullshit," and are often at the very heart of the reasons for illness among those who subscribe to those beliefs. Maureen: Yes – I can see that MEntity: In fact, part of your healing effects would come in the form of helping those immersed in their own "bullshit" to come free of it. THAT is a healing in itself, mind you. MEntity: You have actively worked to heal your self of this, as well. Maureen: Yes. Maureen: so obviously – I'm a different kind of healer then – yes Maureen: it feels a bit "lonely" though sometimes – without all the hocus pocus! Maureen: so many people want that – not the "truth" Maureen: the truth is often too simple and revealing MEntity: Your recipients of healing may not be clamoring at your door with the weight of widespread beliefs and imprinting that can be hooked into for popularity, but your recipients are, nonetheless, still carrying the weight of beliefs, but ones that you can relate to. MEntity: It is not lonely without the hocus pocus, it is informative. It is a part of what you still wish to bring to your healing efforts: how to bring the magic without resorting to tricks. Maureen: Yes – that is what I want Michael MEntity: Part of your healing, then, may include that same point for your recipients. MEntity: Magic is not theatrical. Magic Tricks may be, but not magic. MEntity: Magic is not glamorous. Magic Tricks may be. MEntity: Magic is experiential. It is not impressive. MEntity: Magic is generated, not presented. MEntity: Magic is alive, not given life. MEntity: Magic is the capacity to transform one's life in the blink of perception, not necessarily in the blink of an eye. Maureen: Yes! MEntity: Your recipients are the magicians, and you are the assistant, and the magic they may seek is possible, not through theatrics, tricks, and glamour, but through real effort, patience, and treatments. Maureen: That's helpful. That's a great way of seeing it MEntity: The same magic that was used for the creation or allowance of ailments is the same magic that can relieve them of those things. If it is a physical trauma, then physical "magic" must be utilized. If it is an emotional trauma, then emotional "magic" must be utilized. And so on. MEntity: For example, if someone slams their fingers in a car door, one would want immediate medical treatment to save those fingers and stitch them up. One would not go to a psychologist, in that case. Maureen: Yes – lol MEntity: When your recipients come to you, if there are physical ailments, they must understand that a physical specialist or remedy may be in order to address that, even if only in terms of symptoms, but that your aim is to help relieve, reverse, or transform the subtler elements involved. Maureen: So as a healer – it's good to learn discernment to suss out the "body" or bodies that need to be worked on/with. MEntity: It may be helpful, but not necessary. The only body that would need to be recognized as beyond your aim is the physical body, at least in terms of physical symptoms or traumas. Maureen: I see MEntity: Your work may help support the repair and healing of that body, but you are not an EMT. Maureen: LOL – no I'm not MEntity: It must be understood by you and by your recipient, if you choose to encourage understanding, that you are a facilitator, a healer, and not an emergency repair center.
[Excerpt from Energy Report: July 2012] As July unfolds, the collective emphasis is moving into the Attitude of Spiritualist. This means that the shift of perspective, or the system of interpretation and superimposition, is one toward POTENTIAL and POSSIBILITY. As with any move through a cycle, there tends to come an “entrance” through the more focused, restricted, and often fearful Negative Pole, and eventually a move into the broader, more inclusive, often loving Positive Pole. In this case, it would mean that July will probably begin by exploring Potential and Possibility through the more restricted, fearful, and focused lens. The perspective would be one that still emphasizes Potential and Possibility, but may tend toward the worst-case possibilities and potentials. This is not a bad thing. It is natural, and is intended to be a helpful perspective. One cannot explore the greater and preferable possibilities and potentials without, first, exploring the potential pitfalls and possible hurdles. The Negative Pole of Spiritualist is described as BELIEF. Belief is (consciously or unintentionally) confusing what MIGHT be true for what IS true. Just because something may be true does not mean that it is true, but Belief will insist that something is true, despite all lack of experience, and it often requires a rejection of feedback, facts, and discernment. If Spiritualist Attitude is about “what could be,”, then BELIEF is the insistence on “what could be” as being the same thing as the truth, instead of remaining as a potential truth. Belief is synonymous with Faith, or more accurately, Blind Faith. Beliefs are systems of interpretation and super-impositions that you have decided are true, but either have no evidence or support for that truth or perspective, or have rejected all evidence and support for the contrary. Belief could be understood as a map that has no terrain, or when one insists that the map IS the terrain, and blindly moves about based upon determined symbolism, rather than on feedback, facts, validation, discernment, etc. BELIEF is not necessarily a “bad thing,” as the Negative Pole is entered precisely for the process of discernment, validation, feedback, etc. It is an opportunity to look at what you Believe vs what is true. It is only when one decides to remain there that this Negative Pole is “negative.” Having a set of possibilities and potentials is something that experience helps to weed through so that what is true for you can come to light, not only in terms of a Personal level (what is true for you), but a Global (what is true relative to Earth's species, sciences, and nature) and Universal level (what is true of the Universe regardless of what is true for a species or planet), as well. Holding on to those possibilities and potentials (whether “good” or “bad”) is not the same thing as remaining in the Negative Pole. Once one has an understanding of all that he or she thinks or knows is possible or potential, then the aim is for the Positive Pole, which is VERIFICATION. Verification is the process of validating what you may have been told, or what you may have decided, is possible and potential. It is the measuring of the map against the terrain, and either updating the map, or replacing it. Verification allows one to see what is true, rather than simply insisting on what is true. Again, if you carry around a set of possibilities and potentials that have no validation, that is not the same thing as Belief. Some truths take time and energy to uncover, build, discover, validate, and know. Everyone carries around a great set of potentials and possibilities, but it is only when there is no interest in Verifying these that there comes to be fear, blind faith, and Belief. And so it is that July may come in as an awkward mix of sensing and anticipating exciting prospects, but finding oneself directing attention toward potential problems or pitfalls. Knowing these are possibilities, you can go forward and Verify, but if you treat these as truths before that, you have fallen into Belief.
