  1. OMW - Feb 15, 2014 - Intimacy and Me [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. [MEntity] We can begin discussion on the subject of Intimacy, as requested.[MEntity] We have much to say on the subject over our years of communication with our students, so we remind you that the term "intimacy" may have brought with it variations of discussion relevant to the context at the time. There may be differences in what we have to say today because we will be speaking about this subject quite specifically, and in the context of your understanding it as a vital part of your well-being.[MEntity] Intimacy is one of the very few ways that the Personality can be in sync with the Essence, or even remotely Manifesting Essence, even when Essence is fully rejected by the Personality. Even those who are deeply asleep in life will feel the prompt for the experience that is Intimacy.[MEntity] This is because Intimacy is directly linked to the Higher Moving Center.[MEntity] There is a reason for the sequence of Centers/Chakras rising vertically through the body/Personality in a way that puts a Higher Center toward "the bottom." [MEntity] Tucked amid the three Lower Centers, and the Instinctive Center, that are immediately accessible at any point in the life, is the Higher Moving Center.[MEntity] This is because if there were no Higher Center "anchored" in the density that is the Physical Plane, a Body, and Personality, then the circuitry that would allow for true Manifestation of Essence would be lost. The entire cycle of incarnations would be a process of blindly sending out a body that would then blindly store experiences and then die, finally releasing that information to Essence.[MEntity] We know that many may feel that the process of evolution is tedious, but evolution would be made infinitely more tedious and complicated if there was no way for the Personality to know Essence, or for Essence to know Personality. [MEntity] So the Higher Moving Center tucked amid the Lower Centers ensures that there is, at least, an eventual potential for circuitry to be developed that is then built upon and secured over lifetimes.[MEntity] It is also amid the Lower Centers because it is one of the first Centers fully developed in a species, long before any potential for Sentience.[MEntity] The Higher Moving Center exists among nearly all forms of matter, but particularly among all "living" things.[MEntity] If there is procreation or reproduction, there is a Higher Moving Center.[MEntity] This is, actually, how any new Sentience to a planet is able to experience the variations of life on a planet as part of the process for deciding if that is where the cycle of incarnations will begin.[MEntity] We bring all of this to your attention because Intimacy is such a natural default for Essence, and is anchored so deeply into the navigational tactics for the Physical Plane, that even from long before "you" were "you," Intimacy was a primary experience for evolving.[MEntity] In other words, Intimacy IS a part of your life, whether you are aware of it, approving of it, recognizing it, defining it properly, accepting it, consciously pursuing it, or not.[MEntity] And though the concept and complexity of what Intimacy may mean to an individual over the course of many lifetimes, no matter what, INTIMACY WILL BE FULFILLED.[MEntity] When Intimacy is ignored, rejected, or subconsciously sought to be fulfilled, it will tend to be fulfilled through ADDICTION.[MEntity] We will describe Positive Pole of Intimacy here is REALIZATION (or Resonance), and the Negative Pole as NEED.[MEntity] As Intimacy is motivated directly by Essence, and is directly linked to a Higher Center, its Negative Pole is far from "bad," and is still quite comfortable to embrace.[MEntity] However, if Intimacy has fallen into NEED for too long, and that Need is not allowed or addressed, then the shift toward Addiction begins.[MEntity] Addiction is the long way around to REALIZATION.[MEntity] It is both a rejection of Intimacy, and a profoundly deep dive toward it.[MEntity] Personality cannot truly reject Intimacy, so the closest it can come to avoiding it is through Addictions.[MEntity] We will define "Addiction" here as compulsions that interfere with the capacity to choose against that compulsion. In other words, doing a lot of one thing does not mean it is an addiction, but doing it at the expense of other things that you would prefer to do, or should do for your well-being, then it is likely an addiction.[MEntity] Habits are not Addictions, but Addictions can be generated from habits.[MEntity] The reason Addiction is so intimately linked to Intimacy is because even Addiction is a path toward Realization, which is the ultimate goal of Intimacy.[MEntity] We will define "Realization" here as the pursuit/action/choice toward full awareness of something as an undeniable fact.[MEntity] All of these facts, or truths, are those that are of Essence.[MEntity] They are not subject to fears, second-guessing, rejection, etc.[MEntity] Examples of various pursuits for Realization are: I AM LOVED; I AM SAFE; I CAN LOVE; I AM VALUABLE; I LIKE MYSELF; I LIKE OTHERS; I AM NOT ALONE; etc.[MEntity] So as you pursue or allow Intimacy, let yourself play around with what you may be seeking to Realize. Often, that truth, that fact, is not far from your consciousness, and may often be related to your wounding. It will not change the status of your relationship to someone if you finally grasp why you are so attracted to that person, but it can bring about a deep peace and confidence in your self as representing Essence.[MEntity] No pursuit or allowance of Intimacy is all about the other person. It is generally 99% about YOU, and YOUR pursuit or allowance of Realizations.[MEntity] You want to Realize that you are loved, so you pursue relationships that help you realize this. You want to Realize that you are creative, so you pursue or allow relationships that help you realize this. You want to Realize that you are not alone, so you pursue intimacy with those who share in your perspective. And so on.[MEntity] There are 12 FORMS OF INTIMACY in your life.[MEntity] There are the 3 forms that are most dependent upon shared space and time:[MEntity] SENSUAL, PERCEPTIONAL, and MUTUAL.[MEntity] SENSUAL Intimacy is any form of touch, from the most sexual to the kindest of hugs. It is a form of Intimacy that brings Realization to your form in space.[MEntity] PERCEPTIONAL Intimacy is any form of shared perspective, shared truths, shared experiences. It is a form of Intimacy that brings Realization to your form in time.[MEntity] MUTUAL Intimacy is any form of shared support, exchanged help, sharing of resources. It is a form of Intimacy that brings Realization to your form in both space and time.[MEntity] The above forms of Intimacy are what most think of in terms of "Intimacy" and what most try to bring to any relationship of depth and longevity.[MEntity] When the above are missing from the life, Addiction is highly likely to be involved.[MEntity] However, if a fragment realizes that there are likely far more opportunities for Intimacy than those, he or she can let those broader forms of Intimacy be quite beneficial to the healing and opening that would allow for the more intimate forms above.[MEntity] That first group of 3 might be considered your ESSENTIAL forms of Intimacy, while the next 3 forms of Intimacy are what we might consider your FUNCTIONAL forms of Intimacy:[MEntity] These would be your PLAYFUL, PROJECTIONAL, and CORRECTIONAL forms of Intimacy.[MEntity] PLAYFUL forms of Intimacy are with those whom you simply like to play. This is a form of Intimacy. It does not matter if you know one another beyond this; if you share in the joy of playing together, you are experiencing Intimacy.[MEntity] This gives Realization to the joy and pleasure of form in space.[MEntity] PROJECTIONAL forms of Intimacy are those where you share a common goal, common responsibilities, tasks, cause, agenda. [MEntity] It is allows you to Realize your effectiveness of form in time.[MEntity] CORRECTIONAL forms of Intimacy are where you share in mistakes, failing, commiserating, empathy, recovery, and strengths.[MEntity] This form of Intimacy allows you to Realize both the joy and effectiveness of yourself in form through time and space.[MEntity] Keep in mind that Intimacy does not always "feel good." It can be challenging, terrifying, and awkward. This is because it is not a path that leads you directly to bliss. It is a path that leads you directly INTO WHATEVER IS BLOCKING YOUR BLISS.[MEntity] So the Correctional form of Intimacy can be difficult, for example.[MEntity] The Correctional form of Intimacy marks a kind of shift into even broader contexts for Intimacy, and these tend to be prompted toward, within, and from experiences that can often be far from pleasant.[MEntity] We will refer to this next tier as your TRANSFORMATIONAL forms of Intimacy:[MEntity] These would be your PAINFUL, BEAUTIFUL, and TRUTHFUL forms of Intimacy.[MEntity] Your PAINFUL forms of Intimacy are found in the sharing of conflicts, resistance, combat, hatred, agitation, aggrivation, annoyance, etc. The more a person prompts this in you, the more Intimate you are with him or her. This can be one of the most powerful forms of Intimacy to embrace, because this is where you can Realize WHAT YOU RESIST.[MEntity] This is where you have become immovable as a form in space, or put another way: how you have become stuck as a Personality.[MEntity] For many of our students, the Essential and Functional forms of Intimacy, while important, are fairly embraced and realized, but once Intimacy has moved into the broader contexts, the rejection begins to be noticeable.[MEntity] Your BEAUTIFUL forms of Intimacy are with those who share in your tastes, your preferences, your patterns of preference, including music, art, nature, performances, and even in slang, language, culture, social behaviors and expressions.[MEntity] This sounds "beautiful" until we look a bit closer at how rigidly the boundaries are for many of our students who define themselves by these preferences and patterns.[MEntity] What tends to be missed in this form of Intimacy is that it is not about it being only on your terms. It is about SHARING in a pattern of preference. This means, it may not be one of your familiar patterns, but someone else's. It may not be known to you already, and may require time, but there is a pattern here that is an invitation to Beauty, to Intimacy.[MEntity] So this form of Intimacy helps you to Realize how you have become stuck in your patterns across time.[MEntity] The TRUTHFUL form of Intimacy is when sharing in a moment of utter honesty, even if unprompted, unsolicited, and uninvited. It is much like a child's honesty being expressed at the most inappropriate moment. This form of Intimacy is full of surprises and disorientation, and can come from anywhere, anytime, from anyone.[MEntity] This form of Intimacy has been dubbed "brutal honesty" by some, and then hijacked as a form of abuse by others, but there is a difference between sharing in a truth that strikes a chord of validity, and hearing a "truth" that is merely a hurtful opinion.[MEntity] "Brutal Honesty" is innocent in its presentation. It is known that it will be, and needs to be, heard. It is not intended to be hurtful. However, TRUTHFUL Intimacy can often come out in angry words that have withheld the truth, or collaborated in your avoidance of the truth, and can come out in arguments.[MEntity] If you find you are in a moment of sharing Truthful Intimacy, even if it comes in the heat of an argument, you can stop for a moment and hear that truth, and Realize that you have been seen, known, understood, even if it is ugly to you, or unwanted or rejected by you. It is a Realization of the Truth of YOU, another part of your coming home, across time and space.[MEntity] The next tier would be referred to as the DIRECTIONAL, or INSTRUCTIONAL forms of Intimacy.[MEntity] We use thes terms because they capture the effect of these forms of Intimacy in returning one directly to the core of truth, love, and energy of one's Essence.[MEntity] These would be the CATASTROPHIC, PIVOTAL, and UNCONDITIONAL.[MEntity] Catastrophic Intimacy can bring together entire cities, cultures, and societies to a common ground of Intimacy. This is a kind of ultimate Realization of Oneness in form. On an individual level, this can be the intimacy shared with one who must heal you, or be healed by you, or be mutually healing, and there is a Realization of importance to each of you.[MEntity] Pivotal Intimacy is shared as cultures and societies evolve beyond limitations for who and how their peoples are treated, included, excluded, etc, and the move toward equality and enlightenment is secured. It is a form of growing up, maturing. And this is true on an individual level, as well. Pivotal Intimacy is when you finally "get" another person, perspective, or direction that was rejected by you in the past, or misunderstood, or ignored. Pivotal Intimacy is the realization of our evolution.[MEntity] UNCONDITIONAL Intimacy is in the sharing of spirituality, philosophies, the meaning of experiences, and the greater contexts of existence. We refer to this as "Unconditional" because in most instances where these things are shared, very little else is questioned about that person.[MEntity] Of course, then, the other forms of intimacy come into play, and all hell can break loose to evoke many other layers of intimacy, but Unconditional Intimacy presumes such profound similarity, that it lures in all walks of life into the same space and time, and then the real work of Intimacy begins.[MEntity] Many of our students know this.[MEntity] And so, the above are all of the ways in which your Essence will manifest its pursuit and allowance of Intimacy through you as a Personality.[MEntity] Our suggestion to each of you is to look at each form of Intimacy to see if there can be examples listed for each.[MEntity] Keep in mind that the first two tiers are fairly ordinal in their experience, while the second two are fairly cardinal, so you will probably have more examples of the first 6 forms than the last 6, with more of the last 6 being from personal history or even historic.[MEntity] In other words, the first 6 will tend to happen more often in more ways than the last 6.[MEntity] But ALL 12 are active and alive in you, your life, and your relationships.[MEntity] This pursuit or allowance of Intimacy is not just for sharing with another, but also about your internal sense of Intimacy with yourself, as well.[MEntity] Ultimately, if you understand all of the ways in which you gravitate toward intimacy, and how those forms are fulfilled, your expansion of choice can be greater, more responsible, more conscious, and your benefit shared more kindly and meaningfully.[MEntity] We have time through this channel for up to 3 questions that may serve the group. We can take those now.[DianeHB] How does one embrace Painful forms of Intimacy?[MEntity] Remember that "Pain" equals "Resistance." That is all there is to it. Nearly all experiences from which one grows are a product of FRICTION. Some Friction is pleasurable, some is painful. But Pain is still just information. It is true whether emotional or physical or mental. If you burn yourself on the stove, it is the friction of too much heat. The pain is informing you to pull from the heat. You treat the wound and learn from it. Early forms of learning are to simply avoid the stove altogether. Later forms begin to realize there is no danger, but that one need only be careful, conscious, aware, and to use better tools for navigating the stove and its heat. This process is the same for every other body that is you.[MEntity] So as an older soul, it is not about avoiding the source of pain, but about learning to navigate and use better tools.[MEntity] Yes, some people may require the equivalent of a pot holder to deal with, but you can deal with them. And yes, some may be hotter than others, etc. but to embrace Painful Intimacy means embracing what you are learning from the information in the pain.[MEntity] That is what matters.[DianeHB] I see, thank you.[ViP1] Hi Michael[ViP1] You said: 'This pursuit or allowance of Intimacy is not just for sharing with another, but also about your internal sense of Intimacy with yourself, as well.'[ViP1] Do recurring nightmares indicate a lack of intimacy with the self, and if so, which forms of intimacy are involved (and how to gain that intimacy/fix it?)[MEntity] We would not consider dreams or nightmares to fall into the context of Intimacy here, because we are speaking of Intimacy as that which is prompted in the sharing of time, space, and form with another fragment or fragments. Even though others may be involved, Intimacy is still a matter of that which is internal and external, so that is what we meant. However, if you find that your nightmares are prompted by some form of intimacy with another, there may be processes here that relate to Painful or Truthful Intimacy.[Maureen] Without diminishing the complexity and the varied nature of sports, is watching sports, especially contact sports, a way that many people (mostly men) can vicariously experience intimacy?[MEntity] Oh, yes. If this is an experienced being shared with others, even if after a game, in communcation about the game, in celebrating with others, it can easily be Playful, but if done while alone and with no one else, it may simply be a form of entertainment.[MEntity] When it comes to Sports, it can often fall into the Unconditional Intimacy, with wide presumptions of intimacy being shared because of shared support for a team.[MEntity] We will conclude here for today. We think we have shared enough with you so that each of you can look more closely at how Intimacy works in your life, how you might avoid it, where you might not be recognizing it, and how better to embrace it in all of its forms.
  2. Ask Michael Live Chat December 7, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley ViP2: How do neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, dopamine, etc (and drugs which influence neurotransmitter production and handling in the brain, such as Prozac) fit into the spectrum of choice that is available to an individual? For example, if an individual is depressed and feels like there is only a small range of choices available to improve that situation, is taking such a drug a "useful" way to increase the available spectrum of choices? I suppose taking the drug is a choice in itself but I'm curious as to how one's mental condition, which appears to depend partially on neurotransmitter activity, influences or establishes the range of choices available in a given situation. MEntity: In response to the first part of the question: Though this topic is far more complex than the mere minutes we have here to respond, we will say that the primary effects that these neurotransmitters have is not so much on the range of choice, but on the AGREEABLE vs. DISAGREEABLE range of choice. When these neurotransmitters are in a healthy state, there is a tendency to be in a more agreeable state, which makes the range of choice accessible, but not necessarily indicative of a "good or bad" choice, as much as an agreeable choice. When these neurotransmitters are in an unhealthy state, there is a tendency to be in a more disagreeable state, which makes the range of choice seem more inaccessible, even if they are not, because any choice will tend to be opposed. Unhealthy states of neurotransmitters tend to incline one to reject, deny, or battle against options, even if the range is vast, while healthy states of these neurotransmitters tend to incline one to experiment, allow, and accept options of choice, even if the range is quite limited. In terms of influence, choice is still there, of course, even if it may not seem to be so. There is a difference between neurological processes that affect one's mood around the options of choice, and neurological processes that actually reduce the capacity to choose. When there are neurological influences that reduce the capacity to choose, then there is either self-karma taken on, or choices made for this individual become consequences for those who make the choices, not the one who is compromised. The latter would be similar to, say, how a baby or infant might require care, and how its capacity to choose is truly limited. Any choice on that baby's behalf is of consequence to only the one making the choice. We can alway speak more on this subject, but this is our response for now. ClaireC: Hello, Michael. In a similar, health-related vein, is there any validity to homeopathic medicine and the claims made by its practitioners? MEntity: Yes. ClaireC: Could you elaborate? MEntity: In most instances where homeopathic remedies have little effect, they are simply administered or taken incorrectly. One of the benefits of homeopathic remedies is that one cannot be made sick from them if there is a misdiagnosis or poor administration. But, as a whole, the claims and treatments of homeopathy are valid. This is a holistic means of treatment, best used for chronic issues and issues that require long-term treatment, while allopathic (or "western") medicine is best for emergencies. ClaireC: How does the mechanism work? MEntity: One of the ways in which one can validate the legitimacy of homeopathic remedies is that they work on non-human, non-sentient creatures. One does not have to "believe" in their effectiveness. They simply work. Veterinarians have turned to this source of treatment for many chronic ailments of animals. ClaireC: Any examples? MEntity: The means by which most homeopathic remedies work is through a kind of intense "stamping" of a molecular structure into the "memory" of water. There will come to be a better word/phrase for describing how this works, but the long and crude description is that the "essence" of molecular structure is stacked in the water in a way that is almost holographic, though not quite. Because it can be "stacked," the remedy may seem to be quite diluted when viewed through current technology, when, in fact, it is actually highly potent and concentrated. Examples for non-human animals can be seen documented for a number of ailments, from skin conditions to ear inflammations to digestive issues to neurological compromises, etc. Because there is no regulation of any significance for homeopathic remedies, and because the intake of dosage is so unfamiliar, many do not receive quality benefits, but if care is given in the selection of a professional, as well as in how one is using the remedies, profound benefit can come. ckaricai: Thanks, My question: The recent events in Ferguson, MO sparked protests all around the country. More people are opening up to the fact that people of color in this country experience a different America and it seems like emotions surrounding this fact are high for everyone...What can we do, rather what can older souls do--other than protest--to help move this country towards more racial harmony? MEntity: One of the first things that can be done by older souls is to stop pretending that one can understand the entirety and complexity of the subject. Not even those who are directly involved and directly affected can do so. It is an ancient wounding, and while current wounding can be addressed, the ancient wounding cannot. At least, not in any superficial satisfactory way. ckaricai: That seems pretty bleak MEntity: Ancient wounding of a people is valid. It is carried forward in the biological constructs of the Instinctive Center of any considered to be of that people. Even as the Essence brings forth its own Instinctive Center data, it is mixed in with the biology of the "race." While "race" is a social construct, and not a valid biological construct, those social constructs still carry an influence in terms of procreation and lineage. In other words, there is validity to "ancestral memory." However, the older the soul, the less dependency upon ancestral memory. The younger the soul, the more defined one is by ancestral memory. ckaricai: ...How then would african americans as a group move past that collective ancestral memory? MEntity: This is also true in terms of species, which is why there is an ancient wounding among all Humans regarding their place in the cosmos, related to the original relocation from Sirius. Our pointing to the fact that no one can truly comprehend the profundity and complexity of the ancient wounding is not meant to imply or sound bleak. It is meant to point to the fact that many speak AS IF they completely comprehend it, and offer opinions, ideas, and facts that speak only to a fraction of the pain. And this can tend to add to the pain. For the older soul, this inclination to presume a full understanding can be much easier to relieve than for the younger souls. As for the whole of the people in question, one of the ways for this to be healed is to allow for diversity within the whole of the people. ckaricai: I understand. Thanks for your answer. MEntity: One of the greatest internal setbacks of any oppressed group is the negative effects of solidarity. Solidarity is important and effective, but not if it is used as a means for not allowing variations in advancement and growth from within the group. Imagine a group of people seeking to escape a fire. In one scenario, everyone is linked, and shoulder-to-shoulder so that no one can get through the door. In another scenario, some will will get through the door before others, and some may have to wait a moment. This is a crude comparison, but it is simple in that it speaks to the necessity for moving beyond solidarity and into the active nurturing of diversity. ckaricai: That makes a lot of sense. MEntity: Again, this is not a full response, as the scenario is far more complex than this, but it is our best response to the questions in this format for now. MikeClev: Is there currently any other Sentience living in or visiting our Solar System (other than Earth's Humans, Cetaceans and a few Gorillas)? And, is there any NON-sentient life in our Solar System other than on Earth, for instance, on Mars MEntity: There is a great deal of non-sentient life in this system, but not sentient. There was Sentient life on Venus that has long-since cycled off, and there have been stations on Mars and Earth's Moon by non-Solar System sentience, but not as native species. Most of the species in this system would be classified along the lines of "extremophiles." MikeClev: If so, have signs of stations on the moon and mars been seen and recognised by scientists? MEntity: Oh, yes. Though they are not fully understood and debate continues, there are those who know without question that intelligent life has created structures beyond the Earth. Maureen: Is there any relationship, at all, between The Nine Needs and the Chakras / Centers? If so, what are they? I do understand that our time is limited today. If there is no relationship, I’ll pass on this question. Note: I know the numbers aren’t complementary (9 Needs vs. 7 Chakra/Centers) but as I have reviewed The Nine Needs I’m often left wondering if there is a connection as they’re both dependent on choices made that effect the fulfilment of the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual and Spiritual Bodies. MEntity: First, think of the Nine Needs as being fulfilled through the use of the Seven Chakras/Centers. Any single Need can be fulfilled through the use of any combination of Centers/Chakras. Think of the Nine Needs as results, where as the Seven Centers/Chakras are functions. Maureen: That helps. MEntity: Results and functions can always find some correlation, even if the systems are different. But to draw strict correlations between the Centers and the Needs would be like drawing some significance from one set of directions to the grocery store over a different set of directions. The path to the grocery store is a matter of function/navigation. The grocery store is the point/result. Maureen: I see. Thanks Michael. MEntity: Correlations can be drawn between the grocery store and a path taken, but also between the grocery store and a different path. This is true of the Nine Needs and Seven "paths," as well. GeraldineB: I'm asking a Q on behalf of Kurtis who couldn't attend: Hey Michael, I'd like to ask for elaboration on the Jovial Body Appearance, and any celebrities that would show it off well, thanks :) MEntity: The Jovial Body Type, in terms of Appearance, is one that embodies density of intellect and expression. This body type is designed to carry and store a wide range of ideas, feelings, stories, anecdotes, memories, wisdom, and so has a great deal of "space" among its cells that show up as either loosely packed or densely packed. Those that are loosely packed, so to speak, are those that are quite fleshy, fat, round, and what many associate with "jovial." So while one version may be like "santa claus," the loosely packed, another may be like the "dumb bodybuilder." This is not to say that Santa is wise or that bodybuilders are dumb, but the stereotypes are there. There are origins of a "Santa" that was valid, but the the modern version is simply a result of clever marketing. In terms of more specific "celebrity" versions, there is John Goodman, and then there is Arnold Schwarzenegger. We must conclude here for today. As usual, there is more to say about each of these questions, but we abbreviate our responses to accommodate this format. These more abbreviated responses can be helpful in that they prompt incremental steps in contemplation and comprehension so that a topic can be fully explored with some base knowledge, if that topic is of interest for further exploration. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now.
  3. OMW - Jun 15, 2012 - Tending To your 7 Basic Rights Troy Tolley, Channel [MEntity] What we are asked to discuss today is rather vital to the health and well-being of a lifetime of incarnation, and is fairly directly hooked into the capacity for Personality to Manifest Essence for any extended period of time. For the sake of clarity, we will state here that while Chakras and Centers have resonance that can draw meaningful and relevant correlations, they are not the same system. Chakras are inherent energy management systems of varying complexities that are formed by bodies as a means to sustain form of some kind, whereas "Centering," in our teachings, while referencing Chakras, describes one's "center of gravity," or how one navigates the physical plane while in the body. Primary Centering is how one takes in the world around the body, while the Part is how one tends to emit themselves back out into the world. So while one may have Emotional Centering as a form of navigation, this would not necessarily mean that one has a strong or emphasized Heart Chakra, for instance. Nor would it mean one has an underused or de-emphasized Heart Chakra. We point the difference out here because there are Correlations and then there are Resonances between the systems, and they are not consistent with each other. We will not get into those differences here, but it will be important not to draw tight parallels between the two while exploring both systems, as they are, indeed, different systems. For today, we discuss the Chakras, and if we draw parallels to the Centers, it would be relevant in that context, but not necessarily in another context. The Chakras, then, are the connecting portals between Essence and Personality, or the Essence and Bodies. We speak in plural of the bodies, as there are various layers of the body that vary in density and function, and these bodies are the parts that bring the whole to "life," but each body, or density, could function on its own. Each body has a different experience of time and space and dimension, and each has a different emphasis of management for what and how to share with Essence, and each may have a different agenda, different wounding, different version of history, etc. And each body is in charge of fulfilling its own "right." We are speaking of these bodies as delineated, only for the sake of convenience and comprehension, but they function seamlessly and as a whole. It will not be helpful to think of these as separate, except insofar as it helps you to first grasp this particular topic. In other words, in much the same way that we could speak to you about how your fingers function as very specific tools as compared to your arms, they do not function without each other, and to focus on one over the other would be pointless. In order for Essence to experience the various Planes of Existence, there must be bodies. Essence, alone, has no bodies, no form, no location. As Essence is FIRST Cast from Tao, its most amorphous "form" is actually something more like a recording device: the Instinctive Center, or what would become the Root Chakra in a Physical Body. This is because Essence is actually "formed" from the Akashic Plane, which, in itself, is the only "plane" that is not a Plane. There is no incarnation or processing through that "plane," as it is only a memory bank and probability generator. This Instinctive Center is inherent in ALL that is Cast from Tao, which means that if it is "not" Tao, then it has an Instinctive Center, and if it is on the Physical Plane, no matter what it is, there is a Root Chakra, at the very least. In terms of Rights, then, this would be the very basic Right To Exist. Once a portion of energy is Cast from Tao, it is "forever" its own thing. We know of nothing that has lost that Right, regardless of form, return and exit from Tao, etc. It would be important, here, to define what we mean by "Rights." We mean the term in much the same way that it is already understood. These Rights are those qualities and states of Being, Having, and Doing that are fully guaranteed, inherent, and due. Once one is Cast from Tao, these Rights are permanent. For example, there will never be a "when" that you do not Exist. It is permanently your Right as Essence. In much the same way this works for Essence, this Right is inherent in its own creations, as well. So the Personality is always "born" from the memory bank and probability generating Instinctive Center of Essence, and cast with the very basic Right To Exist. This means that "you," as you know you, will "never" go away, even when "you" die. The form may change, the identity may evolve, and the attachments will wane, but the "you" that is you, cannot be undone. This is why we use the term "fragments" as both a reference to your Essence as a part of its higher contexts, but also in reference to the Personalities that exist as parts of an Essence. Essence is a microcosmic Tao. This Right to Exist translates into the individual Personality as its Right to its memories and its capacity for generating probabilities. In short, its Right to Choose. The capacity for choice exists in every known form, even if the contexts for choice are relative. The parameters of choice for an atom, a rock, or a chicken are very different from the choices of a Personality. The parameter of Choice of a Personality is very different from that of Essence, as well. This does not undermine the capacity for choice, though. One way of understanding this is to consider the choices necessary for a fighter pilot to make versus those of a housewife, or the difference in parameters of choice for a child in kindergarten versus those of the college graduate. These are not limitations imposed, but simply contextual. Your Essence must make Choices that a Personality will never have to face. And Personality must make choices that Essence would never have been able to make on its own. Grand Cycle after Grand Cycle, lifetime after lifetime, the Instinctive, or Root Chakra, is the only element carried forth, over and over and over. It becomes multilayered, as each Grand Cycle "stacks" a layer upon a layer so that there is no bleedthrough, and so that there is a fresh layer for recording, but those layers are always accessible by Essence. All other Chakras are new and relative to the Grand Cycle. That is because these other Chakras become the means by which the recording of experiences are funneled to the Instinctive. And those Chakras must be relative to the systems in place for that "universe." As no universe or Essence can be in existence without inherently owning an Instinctive Center, or Root Chakra, this is the only one that is at the root, if you will, of any existence. It is a misnomer to describe Essence as "owning" this, as Essence is, essentially, the same thing, but the same could be said of a Personality in relation to Essence; we delineate for purposes of understanding the parts that are the whole. In the same way that the developing Chakras relative to a Grand Cycle become the funnels for recording experiences to the Instinctive Center, so are Personalities within a specific Sentience funneling experiences to Essence. The first Chakra, then, that is developed, is that which allows for location. That would be the Second Chakra, or the Sacral Chakra. This Chakra is the first form of differentiation within a universe. This is not the same thing as separation. It is the capacity for form within form. Thus, it is also the Chakra of Creation. Because this is a Chakra that allows for location and form and creation, it is also the first body that "feels." Form within Form allows for intimacy, unison, oneness. We describe the Highest Plane, which inherently has these qualities, as the Buddhic Plane. This Right is vital for the use of Existence. It is the capacity for Existence to have location, and to create form. Everything "feels," then. Everything. However, what is often thought of as "feelings" are not the same thing here. Having the capacity for form within form means being aware of the self in relation to something else. All matter has that capacity to some degree. We refer to it as Consciousness. A rock, flea, and chicken have a consciousness just as your Essence does, and "you" do. The capacity for choice determines the capacity for Consciousness. A rock has a very different parameter of Choice from a chicken or a Sentient Human, so there are varying degree of Consciousness involved in each. However, for an Essence to ever move into a Sentient Species, it must evolve though all of those parameters of choice, or degrees of Consciousness, before considering Sentient exploration. Before doing so, the first "form within form" or creation of Essence is its formation of Entity, Cadre, and Energy Ring, etc. This is its first experience of location. And this is done through "feeling." Every Essence, then, could be said to "feel" its way through the universe to find its Entity Mates, old friends from other Grand Cycles, and the formation of what is the actual "Casting" begins. "Feeling" here, then, is the inclination toward the organizing of patterns, or the creation of harmony and resonance. When this is carried into a Physical Lifetime, or a Personality, this Right to Feel translates into your Right to Intimacy, to Creativity, to Pleasure. The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 6th Chakra, or the Brow Chakra. This is first time that "Time" begins to be experienced. It is often said that "time is an illusion," but that is another misleading cliche. "Time" is simply a term that describes the organizing of experiences. Time for Essence is very different than Time for Personality, because they organize experiences very differently. Time for a gnat is very different from Time for a rock for the same reasons. This organizational capacity must be in place early on, if you will, so that experience can be funneled into Essence in a way that can be comprehended, for that is the "entire point" of Existence. In terms of Personality, this Right is quite similar, in that it is your Right to see beyond any circumstances, beyond the self, beyond the moment, to dream, to imagine, to be visionary, etc. The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 7th Chakra, or the Crown Chakra, as this is the means through which Essence will comprehend its experiences of existence. It is the Right to Evolve. This is inherent in all matter, as well. The Rights to Exist, Feel, Dream, and Evolve, then, are inherent in all matter or energy. There are better words that may be considered, but this is a fair enough reference here. Yes, even Rocks have these Rights, at least in terms of the energy and matter that is the Rock. However, something very different begins to happen for those forms of Consciousness who choose to aim for exploration in Sentience (and not all forms of consciousness aim for that). The Chakras, or Rights, that we have described so far are the Rights that come from the very nature of energy as representative of Tao, and this gives all a vast range of exploration in form throughout that universe, since all matter would inherently have these Rights, or portals/chakras. Entire Entities and Energy Rings can then exist as mountain ranges, weather systems, herds of animals, insects, birds, amoeba, fish, water systems, etc. or whatever other terms might be used to describe the planet of interest that may house a candidate species for sentience. All of the Rights inherent in Essence are carried through those forms and implemented in ways that evolve the planet and its species and life forms. Nothing in existence was formed in matter without some consciousness involved in its coming into that existence of form. Nothing in existence of form is evolved without the consciousness that is experiencing that form and its parameters of choice. But what makes Sentience so unique is that it learns to use the inherent Chakras of the denser bodies, and turns those into an extension of Essence Rights. In the exploration through the Physical Plane, there comes a time when the aim for Sentience includes having the Rights of Essence represented through the bodies of that Plane. The first of these to be established is the 3rd Chakra, or the Right to Move, to Change, to Be Free. This tends to prompt the evolutionary chain of events that lead to the candidates for Sentience much later. This is because the Third Chakra is the Second Chakra, made Ordinal. Or, in our terms, the Moving Center begins being used for manifesting the Higher Moving Center. This 3rd Chakra, then, is developed in anything that can move or grow in form, and that Right will exist for anything that can move and grow within the Physical Plane after that Chakra has been developed for that form. Again, at least in terms of the consciousness exploring that form. In a Sentient Species, this Right continues as a similar Right. It is the Right of the Personality to make its own choices, choose its own actions, choose its own directions, grow in its own way, be free on its own terms, etc. The 4th Chakra is developed among species whose wiring has evolved to a point where it can become aware of itself beyond itself. This is not the same thing as self-awareness or Sentience, but a kind of empathy, and an awareness of Time, and a capacity for learning. In non-sentient Species this would be the Right to Nurture, to Care, to Empathize. In a Sentient Species, this becomes the Right to Love. And then the 5th Chakra is developed and explored through species who have gained the capacity for language. This becomes the Right to Communicate in non-sentient species, and becomes the Right to The Truth in a Sentient Species. By "language," we do not mean speaking English, but some form of complex symbols in sound, body, or other form that allows for the transfer of ideas. This 5th Chakra becomes the practice portal for the use of the 7th Chakra of Essence. As an aside: We will not go into detail about the Kingdoms that were developed and then explored on this planet by Essences aiming for Sentience, but we can say that, while this planet was explored by our Design of Sentience before choosing a different planet, and because our bodies were "moved here," many fragments within our Design are wholly unfamiliar with the the Kingdoms here, and therefore have evolved over time with a gross lack of concern for the Rights of the creatures who evolved here. What we have shared with you so far has been an overall picture of these Rights, why they are called Rights, and how they came about. When a species shifts from non-sentient to sentient, it tends to be because of the capacity for that species to not merely be experienced by Essence, but to represent Essence. [GeraldineB] Is this the basic reason that taking a sentient life requires karma to expiate it? The right to life? [MEntity] To some extent, yes. And that is because it is very different to experience a Physical Plane through a form, versus AS a form. We will point out here that before there is an incarnation as a Sentient Species, there is no 3rd, 4th, or 5th Chakra. But once locked into an incarnational cycle as a Sentient Species, that Essence is then locked into a path back to Tao that will require the full exploration of those Chakras AS ESSENCE, which means a process through not only the Physical Plane, as represented by the 3rd Chakra, but the Astral Plane, as represented by the 4th, and the Causal Plane, as represented by the 5th. It is important to understand the greater context for these Rights and the Chakras, but for the point of this workshop, we will now point you toward the ways in which you can use this information on a daily basis so that it is meaningful to "you" "now." [Janet] Do you mean before there is a plan to experience sentience there is no 3rd, 4th or 5th chakra? Earlier you said it was necessary to experience nurturing as non-sentient. [MEntity] Janet, those Chakras are developed as inherent in the species being explored, but only upon Sentience do they then become a part of Essence. That is because, when exploring the Chakras through non-sentience, they are stationary, if you will, in that species, but once Essence is exploring Sentience, those Chakras rise out of the Instinctive Center that is "inserted" into every body of each life. This is the difference between being a fragment that is Sentient, and being a part of a Hive Soul. Those stationary chakras act as portals for the exploring consciousness of that species. That species becomes like a hive of portals, or Chakras, through which various Essences, Entities, or even Energy Rings explore, diving in and out, etc. In Sentience, however, the bodies die without the consciousness that holds them together. To continue: In exploring your Rights as a Personality that is representative of Essence, and having all of the Rights that are inherent in both Essence and Personality, it will help you to understand one simple question for assessing what Right you are either blocking, ignoring, or undermining: What makes you Angry? Anger is the means through which bodies develop the capacity for alerting itself to the violation of Rights. We are using the term "anger" here because it is the most obvious, but anger is another term for helpless, and is the underlying factor in sadness or depression, as well. [Bobby] no offense taken [MEntity] If it helps, then, one can ask, what makes me sad? what makes me depressed? what makes me feel helpless? Most of what makes one helpless, sad, depressed, or angry is relative to one's capacity for fulfilling one's own Rights. None of the reasons or causes are relevant for anything other than your own process of awareness, as there are often limitations in what one can do to change the what, or the who, or the when of anger. [Maureen] How does the “Right to Life” or the “Right to Exist” play into being a Carnivore vs a Vegetarian? Do Humans have more “rights” than Animals? Do Animals have more “rights” than Plants? Is there a pecking order? (no chicken jokes here ) [MEntity] The point would be in helping you to understand how you can bring more fulfillment and flow to your Chakras, or Rights, to help you to Exist, Feel, Grow, Love, Communicate, Dream, and Know. No one species has more Rights than another, but eventually, Sentience begins to acknowledge the spectrum of Rights inherent in all form, and makes choices relative to how those are honored. A Sentient Species is the only species with the capacity to grasp the concept of Rights while in form. A factory animal may know anger, sadness, depression, helplessness because it is aware that its Right to Be Free has been violated, but it does not know that it has that Right. On their own terms, the creatures would exemplify their Right to Be Free, to Nurture, and to Communicate, as these are inherent in the species, but they would not know to defend these until they are violated. This is why many species can be enslaved and farmed, as they know only the instinctive defense of the Rights, but not the Rights. [Janet] Michael, my primary source of anger relates to limitation of choice -- in the form of people seeking to impose their beliefs on others via rules or laws and also in the form of individuals mindlessly accepting whatever their church or peer group say is best. I cannot see how this ties to a specific Right or chakra. It seems to affect all of them. Although, given your last statement, perhaps it most affects my right to be Free -- similar to the animals you have described. [MEntity] Janet, when you cannot seem to clearly identify what Right is in violation, what you might want to do is look at or feel where the anger is felt in the body when noting this violation. Where it is felt in the body is often a sign as to what Chakra is being violated. If you feel this in your stomach, or your gut, it may be that it is the Right to Be Free. [Janet] Well, that is helpful. I do feel it in my gut. [MEntity] Keep in mind, however, that while the "cause" may be consistent, the Right is not always the same one being violated. For instance, another time you may find that it is a violation of truth, or the right to the truth, and all of the variations on the truth. This may be felt in your body by wishing you would say something when you end up not speaking up. And so on. [Maureen] Do Plants "suffer" the same distinction then? [MEntity] As for Plants, they only suffer in terms of their Right to Grow. They do not experience suffering in other ways, for the most part, as they do not have the 4th and 5th Chakras developed. [Maureen] Michael -- Then Headaches may represent that your "Right to Dream" is being curtailed? .. and so on? [MEntity] Maureen, that would be correct, though one must be careful to explore the spectrum of interpretation that can be attributed to a Chakra and Right, so as not to become too literal in correlation. For instance, a headache might also speak to the refusal to see beyond one's circumstances, to explore imaginative solutions, etc. When one feels that his or her Rights are obstructed in some way, there is only one solution: YOU. [Maureen] Do Creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras then? [MEntity] Not all creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras. Creatures that have developed the capacity for Nurturing have developed the 4th, and Creatures that have developed the 5th have created a means of sharing ideas and concepts. In some way, somehow, you must acknowledge that your Right is actually still intact, or find a means through which you can acknowledge that it is implemented. When one feels that his Rights are violated, by the self or by others or by circumstances, there will ALWAYS be a way that those Rights can be fulfilled, or that are already being fulfilled. This is not the same thing as the Rights that are fought for within societies and communities, though these do represent internal battles within various groups. We are speaking to your Rights as Sentience, the combination of Essence and Personality, and these are always intact. We have gone rather long in our exploration of this topic, and we think that we could do well to follow up with more discussion in your Forum where this will be archived. As you explore the concept of these Rights over the next weeks, we can respond through Troy for further discussion about your questions and experiences. We must conclude here for today. It has been a long journey to Sentience, and these Rights are yours. They will be intact with or without your acknowledgment, but to acknowledge them, and occasionally manage your way back into that acknowledgment, can have profound effects upon your capacity to choose, and to be conscious.
  4. OMW - Sep 4, 2010 - Your Turning Points Troy Tolley, Channel (Note: Two things stand out about this transcript: 1) it triggered huge responses from the participants; so, the questions aren't as well organized or integrated as some other transcripts -- I left it "as is" in order to keep the emotional tone; 2) this topic really integrates well with the more recent "Doing versus Being" workshop held in January, 2011. glb) MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here. We have been asked today to speak about what Troy describes as a "Turning Point" that each fragment may, or may not, have within a lifetime. We will first define "Turning Point" as "the unequivocal, historical comprehension that a correction of course on a Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and/or Spiritual Path is necessary and possible as a result of a particular, pivotal experience or choice." We will further define "correction of course" as meaning "a direction of active preference of path that includes improved health for one or more of the bodies, as opposed to a passive presumption of a path that is not nurturing for one or more of the bodies." A "Turning Point" usually shows up within a life when the original intention for the life is being cut short by the death of one or more of the bodies. And by "bodies," we do mean the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual Bodies, or more accurately, "layers" of the Body. When one of these bodies nears death, and the original intention did not include that death or exit point, then a Turning Point is generated so as to give the entirety of the Body (all layers/bodies) a chance to recover and correct the course of the life. Usually that correction of course is drastic because it is in contrast to the momentum that was leading to death. Each "layer" or Body can experience death, even as the other layers continue beyond that death of one body. For instance, a fragment can experience the death of his or her Emotional Body while continuing Physically, Intellectually, Spiritually. Even when the Physical Body dies, one can continue to "live" through the Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual bodies, and this is most-often reported as a "haunting," of course. Regardless of their lack of tangibility, these bodies are ALL of the Physical Plane in terms of material as a medium for Essence. These materials are not yet understood entirely, but may best be understood by you as various densities, or frequencies, that make up the entirety of The Body. Your Body is made up of these densities, or frequencies, from densest to finest: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, and these are "encased," so to speak, in the matrix that might be called the Etheric Body, which acts as a generator, bridge, and template. Each of these are subject to the scathing that is inherent of the Physical Plane, and thus can be harmed, injured, or die. However, as long as the Etheric Body/casing is intact, not only is the presence in the Physical Plane still intact, but so is the Personality, as the Personality is biological, or more accurately, it is a part of the Bodies. As we said before: a "turning point" is a potential result that comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. [Geraldine] Please describe what the physical body looks like if any of the other three bodies die. MEntity: Therefore how to prevent a Turning Point becomes increasingly interesting to Essence as it grows older, since keeping all of the Bodies healthy also becomes increasingly interesting to the soul. One of the ways to prevent a Turning Point, ironically, is to CREATE a Turning Point. More accurately said, it is how to create one Consciously, as most Turning Points are created unconsciously. [Deb22] Is this not what I did — created a turning point — by taking that recent, extended trip to SE Asia. To the unknown, to being alive because my bodies — the emotional, intellectual and spiritual were nearing death? MEntity: Deb, we would agree. The difference between creating a Turning Point consciously vs unconsciously is profound in terms of catalysts, but equally as profound in terms of impact. It could be said, then, that the Positive Pole of a Turning Point is Transmutation and the Negative Pole is Desperation. One end is fueled by Choice whereas the other end is fueled by Survival. One end is created from conscious recognition whereas the other end is created from unconscious realization. For instance, they are the difference between stating, "something has GOT to change" vs "Oh my god, I almost died." [Deb22] What is hard is the next step. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture — stillness versus movement. It is exciting but scary. Any suggestions.? My turning point felt conscious — was it? MEntity: If you are interested in this workshop with us, you have probably stated at some point: "something has got to change." Or you have experienced a Turning Point already, and just want to understand that process. We will make time for personal questions in a more organized exchange coming up. As we mentioned before: a Turning Point comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. When there is a death of the body, or layer, as long as there is a denser body alive, then the finer body can be "brought back to life." In other words, as long as the Physical Body is intact, then any "death" of any other body can be revived, revitalized. We will define "death" here as "having no active, functioning presence." There are, literally, those whose Emotional Bodies are dead in that regard. As are there some whose Intellectual or Spiritual Bodies are dead. It is not inaccurate then to say that a Turning Point is a Resurrection. Within context, there is validity to the concept of being "born again." Each Soul Age tends toward certain bodies having more trouble surviving the life than other bodies. [Karine] When resurrected, does the body that died come back exactly the same as it was, or is it different than it used to be? MEntity: Karine, it is transmutated. It is always in a higher form if it is resurrected; if the Turning Point is utilized. The Infant Souls tend to have trouble keeping any of the Bodies alive. Baby Souls have the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Body alive. Young Souls have the hardest time keeping the Intellectual Bodies alive. Mature Souls have the hardest time keeping the Emotional Bodies alive. And Old Souls have the hardest time keeping the Physical Bodies alive. Keep in mind that "alive" and "death" here are not entirely literal. For instance, the Older Soul has a hard time keeping the Physical Body "alive" in the sense that we already defined: "having no active, functioning presence." Older Souls are most-prone to hiding away their Physical Bodies from the world, in other words. They have evolved to such a state of spirituality, of spiritual strength, that the emphasis of life tends to move away from Physical presence, and it takes a lot more effort to be alive as a Physical Being. Being "alive", as in, "having active, functioning presence." This helps explain a great deal about much of the turmoil and terror that can often plague the Old Soul. It also helps explain the distractions and overcompensations of the younger Soul Ages. For instance, as the Baby Soul has the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Bodies alive, they tend to have the most resurrections of the Spiritual Body, or an emphasis on being "born again" on that level. The Older Soul often requires this same kind of profound turning point, but on a Physical Level. Therefore, many Older Souls will have their Turning Point generated when in the face of Physical Death. Though it would be difficult to validate, we can say that Older Souls tend to have the "close calls" with physical death more often, proportionally, than other soul ages for that reason. Ironically, they are also more likely to create a Turning Point unconsciously than the other Soul Ages, with Baby Souls being most-prone to creating Turning Points from a conscious intention than other Soul Ages. Before we move further into this topic, and into more personal territory, we now invite you to ask questions about the topic in general, or to comment on your sense of validity about what we have shared so far. [Maureen] Based on this discussion: How does "Energetic Healing" take place/work and what can be done to strengthen it's effect on all the "Bodies/Layers?" [Geraldine] What can cause the "death" of one of the intangible bodies? [Martha] Can you tell if another person has a "dead" body? [Maureen] Lights are on and no ones' home! MEntity: In response to Maureen: Most "Energetic Healing" is fairly useless without the implementation of a counterpart that might be called an "anchor" for a circuit to be fulfilled for that level of healing. [Karine] are the bodies related to the Centers? MEntity: For instance, Physical Healing, which is the most obvious form of healing, has a medium that is tangible in such forms as medicine, bandaging, and active monitoring of the wound. [Deb22] Can you please amplify the response to Maureen's question? What would be a counterpart, an anchor? MEntity: "Energetic" Healing most-often refers to more intangible techniques for providing an exchange of energy for the intent of healing various levels of the Body. However, regardless of the finer body, or the lack of tangibility for the healing, there still needs to be an "anchor," or a counterpart that helps to generate a circuit between healer and healed. [Maureen] What do you mean by anchor - counterpart? MEntity: For instance, the "laying on of hands" or the use of touch, in general, is powerful as an anchor, or counterpart, to many "energetic" healing techniques. [Maureen] From your perspective, what actually takes place with an energetic healing? [Deb22] What about a geometric grid with the elements, the bodies, the directions-- creating a mandala implementing those forms? MEntity: Other examples might be: good conversation as a counterpart to Intellectual Healing; affection as a counterpart to Emotional Healing; the use of symbols, either imaginary or tactile, are quite powerful. For example: if one were to use "at-a-distance" healing as a means to help someone, it would help for that recipient to have a symbol for help in completing that circuit. This could be assigned by the healer for the recipient to visualize or duplicate, or chosen by the recipient for the healer to focus upon. A person carrying a stone that is the anchor for healing energy from a healer is much more likely to receive and benefit from healing than someone who was simply told that the healer would "send" some healing energy. [Martha] whats an anchor for Spiritual healing? [Maureen] With "Hands on Healing" - what can be done to strengthen its effect so it lasts longer? Or has a permanent effect? MEntity: In response to GERALDINE: the death of the Emotional Body can come from emotional overwhelm, self-loathing, abandonment, emotional abuse, etc.; the death of the Intellectual Body can come from Intellectual overwhelm, extreme loss, unprocessed grief, excessive disappointment, philosophical abuse or mindfucking, etc.; the death of the Spiritual Body can come from overwhelming demands of life, lack of capacity to comprehend beyond your own needs and wants, extreme displacement of identity for the sake of compromise and order, etc. [Geraldine] a-ha -- all of those negative poles pile up [Maureen] The North Koreans must suffer from all these the death of the Physical Body, besides the obvious literal death, would come from extreme rejection of physical life, repulsion for the functions of the physical body, terror in realizing the fragility of the body, profound desperation to feel safe, profound misunderstanding that the vastness of the universe equates an insignificance of the self, etc. MEntity: In response to MARTHA: it is often difficult to determine if one of the bodies is dead, but if one is sensitive enough, one can often feel that sense of "emptiness" in a person on the relevant level of Body. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: Some symptoms of each body's death might be: Spiritual Death - addiction, capacity to murder, willingness to enslave or oppress; Intellectual Death - lack of ethics, profound disregard for boundaries, profound lack of concern for the Effects of one's Cause. Emotional Death - extreme depression, apathy, paralysis of isolation (feeling trapped/alone when not trapped/alone) Physical Death - squalor, poor hygiene, extreme wishful thinking (extreme entitlement) In response to KARINE: yes, these Bodies are related to the Centers indirectly, as the Centers are related to the Chakras. Though our channels and students often presume that the Centers are synonymous with the Chakras, we do not use the term Centers to represent Chakras. Therefore, these Bodies are directly related to the Chakras, but indirectly related to the Centers. We use the term "Center" to describe a Personality's "Center of Gravity," and while this can be seen as an extension of the Chakra, it is not about the Chakra, itself. [Maureen] What part does Auric Hygiene play in "warding off" the death of a "Body"? MEntity: So, for instance, a Personality may be Emotionally Centered, but his Emotional Body is "Dead." This would mean that the fragment still navigates life based on attraction and repulsion relative to Inspiration (emotion), but has closed down any vitality to his Emotional Body, hence having "closed down" his Heart Chakra. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: In other words, his other bodies may still move through life in relation to what is or isn't inspiring, but his Emotional Body has cut off contact with his Essence. In response to DEB, we did elaborate on the Anchor/Counterpart, and can do so further if that was not enough. [Karine] so a body's death is basically the rejecting of essence? [Deb22] I was referring to our primary needs: Freedom, Adventure, Exchange, Expression, etc. and was asking for the correlation [Martha] that's a big question Deb [Deb22] I realize that but I think it is most relevant to our discussion MEntity: We are responding to the questions as we see them in order above. We suggest a halt on the questioning now until we have responded to each that has already been posted. [Geraldine] I don't think Needs applies to this -- we'll never get to issues about how to do up a Turning Point consciously at this rate MEntity: We explained what a "counterpart" and anchor is in relation to energetic healing, but the short answer would that a counterpart or anchor is a specific symbol or tangible object that acts as a medium for the energy that is being transmitted for healing purposes. Those symbols and objects are completely subject to the creativity and sense of personal relevance between the healer and healed, and are not specific to the different bodies. We are now to Maureen's question of "what actually takes place during energetic healing?" Whether Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual, any healing is a corrective frequency relative to that body. More specifically, it is a return to order from chaos, or alignment from disarray. When we say that it is a return to order from chaos, we say that in terms of relativity. What may be order, or beauty, to one person's body is chaos to another's. [Martha] Can we hold more questions until we hear about how to consciously create a TP? we're going to run out of time MEntity: For example, what an Older Soul sees in a Baby Soul's being "born again" is "ugly" compared to the beauty the Baby Soul actually experiences in that healing. [Deb22] Suggestion: Why can't we continue this topic next month? It is clear, it is massive. MEntity: Keeping this in mind can help when one acts as a healer, either professionally or as a friend. Healing is something that must be determined by the recipient, not the sender. (We can respond to the remaining questions above, and still cover the "how to" part of our discussion, if everyone has approximately 30 minutes remaining to participate.) [Maureen] OK [Martha] ok [Geraldine] ok [Karine] alright [Deb22] ok MEntity: In response to Deb regarding Mandalas: yes, this would be included in our explanation that symbols are counterparts/anchors for healing. In response to Maureen about hand-on healing and length of effect: We would have to say that it is often wise to consider healing as a matter of "treatment," rather than as a form of miracle. This means that, in most cases, healing is a process, not a product. Each recipient would require different different numbers of sessions, and different degrees of focus for the healing. This is something that would be determined based upon the needs of the individual. In response to Deb regarding the 9 Needs: to the degree that one's Needs are met is a fairly accurate degree to which the bodies are healthy. The less one satisfies his Needs, the more one will degenerate in relation to that Need, depending on how one has prioritized that need and its necessity to satisfy. Though the different Needs could correlate to the different Bodies, it is more accurate to say that for EACH Body the 9 Needs MUST BE SATISFIED to some degree for that Body to be healthy. So, for instance, the Emotional Body will have its Tier of 3 Primary Needs to satisfy, but will still need all 9 to be healthy. In response to Karine about the body's death being a rejection of Essence: No, the Physical Body's death is not always about the "rejection" of Essence, but it is always a result of Essence withdrawing or being blocked from the Body. Death or the Turning Point of any Body is motivated by either Transmutation or Desperation. Therefore, when the Physical Body dies, it can be from the positive morphing into another step of its evolution, or from desperation that might lead to something like suicide. Of course, we can elaborate upon all of our responses as necessary, but we will now speak about the "how to" part of our exchange with you. If any of you can look at any part of your life as represented by the Bodies (Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual) and have found yourselves stating that "something has GOT to change," then you may be in need of a Turning Point. If you are in need of a Turning Point, then it will either happen as a result of Desperation as that particular level of life, or Body, is threatened or dies, or you can choose to generate that Turning Point on your own, and on your own terms. The reason most fragments rely on Desperation to generate a Turning Point is because it is "easier" in that it feels as if it is something that happens TO you, rather than FROM you. And therein lies the difference: consciously choosing/creating a Turning Point means that is must come FROM you, not TO you. One does NOT need to be near death, or dead, in that Body in order to generate a Turning Point. When one is consciously creating a Turning Point, it is not dependent on which Body is near death, but can be based upon your Overleaves and the inherent strength and weaknesses of your own design. When a Turning Point is generated, either consciously or unconsciously, it is a profound redirection of DOING, BEING, HAVING, or KNOWING. These correlate to the Axes of the Overleaves. DOING=Action BEING=Inspiration HAVING=Expression KNOWING=Assimilation If one might choose to consciously create a Turning Point, then one might look at his or her Overleaves and see which Axis is lacking the most emphasis. This would be your first clue or step in generating your Turning Point. For instance, if one is not a King or Warrior, and does not have Submission/Dominance, Perseverance, Aggression, Cynic, Realist, Moving Centering, or a Mars/Venus Body Type, then it might mean that you would most benefit from DOING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. If you are lacking in the Inspiration Overleaves, it might mean that you would benefit most from starting to BE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Expression Overleaves might mean it would benefit you to HAVE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Assimilation might mean KNOWING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. DOING something different is probably the most obvious in terms of what one can do to generate a Turning Point. BEING something different would mean profoundly changing the dynamics of your behavior to reflect what it is that inspires you. BE THAT. HAVING something different would mean profoundly changing what it is that you take/receive from the world around you. KNOWING something different would mean profoundly changing how you interpret your experiences. Of course, no Turning Point can be completed without ALL of those being addressed: Doing, Being, Having, and Knowing. But your Overleaves can help you to see where you might need to start, first. The fact may be that your true Turning Point would come when you reach the KNOWING part of the equation, even if you start with the DOING part. So keep this in mind when you begin your steps. Based on what we have just shared, do each of you understand your Overleaves enough to see what might be your own first step in a Turning Point, if you chose to consciously create one? [LisaC] yes; mine would be Doing [Martha] I think so (Seeing as how I have almost NO action emphasis) [Karine] mine would be doing, too MEntity: And the rest of you? [Geraldine] I think everything hinges on "how I interpret" things [Maureen] I have a mix [Karine] Should one also take a look at what overleaves they are sliding to? (if some of them are on the neutral axis) MEntity: Karine, no, the primary Overleaf should be the primary means for determining this, but we can say that the "sliding" can help to show what area might be a next step in the process. [Karine] ok [Deb22] I did what I always do, DO, but now that I have done; I am BEING. Where am I in my bodies' resurrections? [Geraldine] I'm a little curious how one would DO before one KNOWS? [Martha] I know I need to do something different, but I don't know what it is [Maureen] I walked on "Fire" before I knew MEntity: As we said, all parts of the process will have to be addressed for a complete Turning Point, but a first step is always necessary. In the case where DOING may be addressed before KNOWING, it would mean that it is obvious that certain actions are generating certain results, which would either mean DOING something else more specific to the desired results, or the halting of the Doing that is causing the undesirable results. The reason this might work better for those lacking Action Overleaves is because those Personalities rarely "Know" something (as in, being able to interpret things differently) until they DO something that breaks a pattern. It is not necessary for one to "know" what to do differently, but to DO something profoundly different is the key. This may be as obvious as doing the opposite of what you would normally do, or just doing something "different" for a change, as in taking a random trip, or breaking out in dance in the moment. Keep in mind that for each of these, they are a spectrum: Doing/Not Doing; Being/Not Being; etc. Sometimes the profundity is in the NOT. One way to keep yourself "on your toes" regarding your starting point of Transformation is to mark your more familiar moment with "Maybe I'm Wrong." For instance, "I have to do it this way because my situation demands that I do it this way." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I know it means this because it's obvious that it means this." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I want this and need this because I've earned it and deserve it!" "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I am a big loser." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." If you find that you are frustrated with your direction on any level, it will truly help you to consider that you may be wrong. Suggesting this to yourself can help you to spark your creativity in finding other solutions and directions. Keep in mind that a consciously-created Turning Point is a slower process and one that requires your active participation. Putting a coin of effort into the slot of Doing will not immediately generate a jackpot of success from Being, Having, and Knowing. Your sequence of steps is just a suggestion, and we have already pointed out where to start, but where you will end is often suggested by the Axis where your Overleaves are most concentrated. [Martha] I have been very frustrated lately, wanting to DO something but not knowing what — this should help MEntity: A final thought for you consider is that the force that will keep each step flowing into the next, and generating results that will lead to Transmutation, is FOLLOW-THROUGH. [Geraldine] damn -- but what if I have a CF of procrastination? [Martha] (you're gonna knock Troy out of trance) [Geraldine] (just trying to make Michael laugh) MEntity: There is no Chief Feature of Procrastination, but the humor is not lost on us: we would suggest in response to this that if one is plagued by Procrastination, then one actively create a structure or relationship of Accountability. Accountability is the only solution for Procrastination. With all of this background information, and insight into your Overleaves as a tool for change, we think each of you can set in motion your own Turning Point, if you choose to do so. [Karine] how long does it take to create a successful Turning Point? a few months/years? does it depend on the situation? [Deb22] My bodies — the emotional, the spiritual, the intellectual are experiencing profound changes since my trip to SE Asia. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture. Exciting, but scary. Stillness versus movement. Any suggestions that can help? MEntity: We will respond to these final two questions, but must conclude after that. Karine, the length of time it takes is always relative to the effort, and the magnitude of redirection that is sought. If one wants to take better care of her body so that it moves into a natural state of health, then that can take effect almost immediately; but if one would like to redirect from a career of law enforcement to a career in ballet, it might take more time and commitment. Deb, our best response to your question is to suggest that you now LISTEN TO YOURSELF. That is key in your sustaining your momentum. Listen. And, of course, Follow Through. We must conclude here. If further, more intimate discussion is required, we suggest arranging a follow up discussion/chat within the month that may help. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
  5. Next Wave Michael - Sept 19, 2015 - Your Center of Gravity Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we will speak on a topic that is one of our early pieces of the teaching that made it through fairly concisely during the 20th Century CE. Despite this clarity, the details have become simplified in a way that left behind a great deal of the layers and details that help add dimension to this piece of the teaching. This is the information on the Centers or "brains" of the body. We have said this before, but will say it again here for review: though the correlations between Centers and Chakras are virtually inseparable, the concepts are different. In other words, though the Chakras and Centers can be spoken of in interchangeable ways, Chakras describe the stationary locations/portals of energy as they function relative to the body, while Centers expands upon these and are not stationary or are not necessarily local to the body. One of the reasons we use the term "Center" is that it is short for "Center of Gravity." Center of Gravity describes an average location of the "weight" of an object, by which that object can then be understood in terms of its motion through space and time, as well as an even deeper understanding through how that object is bound in rotation around that Center of Gravity. The "object" here is most often understood as the self, but can extend to refer to events, relationships, time periods, etc. There is a "natural" or starting point Center of Gravity for each "Center," but these change over the lifetime. For example, the Emotional Center of Gravity is in the Heart, or rests in the Heart Chakra. Your Moving Center of Gravity is in the Gut, or the Solar Plexus Chakra. Your Intellectual Center of Gravity is in the throat, the Vishuddhi, or the Throat Chakra. Your Instinctive Center rests at the base of the spine and throughout the spine, or the Root Chakra. This is where they begin, their natural resting point, and this is because your Centering DEVELOPS out of these points. You are born with Chakras. You are not born with Centering. Chakras are the electrical currents or connecting points through which the dimensions of Essence animate and live the life. The Personality, then, develops from those points the Centers of Gravity. To understand the depths of Centering, then, you would want to understand that your Centering describes the "brain" with which you use to process life, or the Center of Gravity around which you "rotate" within yourself, and the PART tends to describe that which you then "orbit" around. For example, an Emotionally-CENTERED person tends to rotate/process within the self in terms of how things, people, events, life moves them, inspires them, and bypasses their prejudices and logic to get to a place of direct perception. An Intellectually-CENTERED person tends to rotate/process within the self in terms of how things are expressed, make sense, are logical, formed, and bring them insight. Now, look at these in terms of Center and PART. The Part tends to describe that which one likes to orbit around as input for the primary Center. But it also describes what one reflects back from the surface of one's self, if you will. So the Emotionally-CENTERED navigates and processes in terms of Inspiration, but its Intellectual PART means that this is both given back to the world in Expression and is taken in from the world of Expression. Think of your Primary Center as that which holds you together, and your Part as that which you tend to gravitate toward and around and reflect. Now, what tends to happen over the course of a lifetime is that your Primary Center of Gravity (and all of your Centers of Gravity) move out and away from the natural resting place in you, and you place these in other people, in events, in the past, in the future, in relationships, etc. So, rather than your Emotional Center being within you in a way that allows you to process on your own terms, you may have placed your Center of Gravity in your Mother, in your mate, in your career, etc. This means that you then begin to look to that which you have placed your Center of Gravity for how to process and navigate. So while you may be Emotionally-Centered, your Center of Gravity for the Emotions is in the PAST, and everything is processed in terms of the gravity of the past. It could be said that there are 7 locations beyond the natural resting point, or the SELF, in which one places one's Center of Gravity: HEALTH or the Material World; CARETAKERS or The Past; LIFE, or the forces bigger than oneself; INDIVIDUALS, or intimacy and relationships; THE WORLD, or the faceless OTHERS; THE FUTURE, or Unknown; and SPIRIT, or non-specific dispersion. These are broad and overlapping categories, but can help our students to look at these areas where Centering may have a gravitational force. Keep in mind that even though you may be Emotionally-Centered, you may have several locations beyond you where there are Centers of Gravity for the Emotions. While it is not "bad" that one's Center of Gravity may beyond the self, it can be difficult for the older soul for this to be the case, because when one's Center of Gravity is in someone else, or in an event, etc., then SELF-AWARENESS IS LOST. For many, the Center of Gravity is a literal gravitational pull that draws one's attention on a regular basis. Does your Health take up a lot of your attention? Do Others take up a lot of your attention? Does your Relationship take up a lot of your attention? Do you find yourself stuck in The Past and comparing everything to that? Do you find yourself worried about The Future, or thinking that there are solutions found only in the Future? And so on. As you can see, none of these are probably unfamiliar to any of you because, regardless of your Centering, your Center of Gravity can be in many locations. To bring your Centers of Gravity back to the SELF is to bring your attention back to yourself. SELF-OBSERVATION is the only way. Self-Observation is Self-Awareness is the awareness of your part in the equation of all dynamics in your life. Self-Observation brings your attention BACK TO YOU, and therefore brings your Center of Gravity back to a resting place, to its origins. This is not to say that The World or your Health or your Past or The Future will no longer be relevant as factors, but that your emotions, thoughts, and actions will no longer be dictated by these. You will no longer rotate and process from within those external factors, but bring that rotation, that calm, that centering, that process back home to you. We know this may be a lot to consider, so we will now open the floor to questions. QUEUE IS NOW OPEN Yes, Maureen. Maureen: I can see I move towards INDIVIDUALS, with my Emotional Centering but interestingly as a Caretaker would. It does feel better when I get my power back. It's more restful. Maureen: I don't think that was a question. MEntity: Caring for others is not the same thing as putting one's Center of Gravity in Individuals. Caring feels good. Placing one's Center of Gravity in Individuals will often feel more like obligation, annoyance, dependency, etc., and one's Emotions (in this case) would be dictated by these Individuals. ClaireC: Michael, I am Emotionally-Centered, Intellectual Part. Although I am concerned about the Future, I feel the gravitational pull towards my heart most of the time. Would that constitute being self-aware according to your description, of bringing the rotation back home? MEntity: Claire, your question brings us to the next area we would have covered. It is important to differentiate between Self-absorbed and Self-aware. Self-aware is a sense of observation of how one is a part of the equation of dynamics in the life, whereas self-absorbed is cutting off of all sense of participation in the dynamics in the life, and a protection or defense of the self against those dynamics and equations. This comes when the Center of Gravity returns to the self, but is then protected or defended. We will leave to each of you to determine how self-aware or self-absorbed you may be, but the difference is usually in the sense of calm vs the sense of defense. To return to your question more specifically, we will say that if you feel that gravitational pull toward your heart, toward that resting place, but there is defense involved around your heart, then you may find that a return to self-awareness means allowing, inviting, and embracing one of those areas outside of the self that may have been the context for your hurt. If you find that the Center of Gravity in your heart brings a sense of calm, healing, and balance, then it is likely a state of Self-awareness. ClaireC: Thank you, that's helpful, Michael. MEntity: Your question prompts another piece of the puzzle, as well: Keep in mind that while each of you receive an indication for your Primary or habitual Centering, ALL Centers are active and working. So while you may be Emotionally-Centered, it may be that your Center of Gravity for the Emotions has returned to the heart, but your Intellectual Center of Gravity is in The Future. Just keep in mind the difference between that which dictates your processes (Center) vs that which your processes rotate around (Part). Diane_HB: So in the case above, the Future would dictate your thoughts but your feelings would be centered within the self? I'm not sure how this works. MEntity: Diane, it can go one of two ways: If there is Self-awareness, then the Emotions are processed on one's own terms, and this is then funneled into what one aims for in The Future. If there is Self-absorption, then the Emotions are still processed within the self, but in defense against and in reflection of the threat of The Future. To be clearer: reflected in what one THINKS and EXPRESSES into form about The Future. Does that make sense? Diane_HB: Yes, thank you Bobby: I'm Moving Center, Intellectual Part and looking at what you've described so far, I would guess that I tend to project my Primary Centering into relationships which would be toward the Intellectual Center? I'm guessing since I know the Mode deals with intimate relationships which falls on the Inspirational Axis. Does this sound like a fair assessment to you? MEntity: We will leave out the Mode for now as a means to help focus on this concept being discussed. Your Center of Gravity is certainly in Relationships. This means that your Actions, Feelings (how your body feels, processes, and moves energy), and your Effectiveness are often dictated by the states of your Relationships, and processed through those Relationships. This is then reflected back in your Expression (or lack of Expression), in your ideas, thoughts, and the form that your expressions take. In other words, in your case, your Moving Center of Gravity is dictated by and processed by your Relationships, and these revolve around the gravitational forces of you where your thoughts, ideas, reasoning, and insights take you, and are reflected in your thoughts, ideas, reasoning, understanding, and insights. If you were to move into Self-observation and awareness, you would bring the Center of Gravity home to you, and realize that how you feel, react, act, and your sense of effectiveness is less about how others understand you, how they express themselves, their ideas and thoughts, but about yours. Bobby: Ok MEntity: You are aware of this and we know that you can feel when your Center of Gravity comes home, and when it is left in Relationships. GeraldineB: I'm Emotionally Centered, Intellectual Part. I interpret Rotation to be regular and/or constant movement, especially as one ages and expands experiences. While I've had severe Health issues and focus during this past year, in many ways I've avoided making it my sole Center of Gravity. I've not felt emotionally “attached” to my health. I think I've approached it far more from an Intellectual perspective. Can you describe the process that I'm using? Or is my Center completely elsewhere? MEntity: One's Center of Gravity tends to be drawn to places outside of the self for three reasons: TO ADD to the self (learn, grow, evolve, experience), to DISTRACT from the self (defense, fear, blame, anger, etc) or to BALANCE the self (healing, comfort, acceptance, understanding, etc). It is not a "bad" thing for one's Center of Gravity to be placed beyond the self. The dynamics of living require great fluctuation of location for the various Centers of Gravity. However, as one grows older in Soul Age, it begins to be more and more important to learn how to bring those home to the self in a way that allows one to be a conscious and aware participant in the life, and not just a receptor that will review later. In your case, your Emotional Center of Gravity is in THE WORLD, in OTHERS. How "others" behave, and what is happening in The World, have great impact on your state and processes of Emotion, Inspiration, and Perception. Your health is demanding and a great focus in the life at this time, but it is not where your Center of Gravity is. Your Center of Gravity still remains in processes that are dictated by Others and The World around you. GeraldineB: I can validate this. MEntity: Your health, however, has been the catalyst for you to bring that Center of Gravity home, to yourself, and a great deal of calm and healing and stability has been generated by these lengthy returns of your Emotional Gravity to the self. You have fluctuated between the Self-aware and Self-absorbed, and you may likely know when each of these are in effect. GeraldineB: Since I know that it's possible to monitor, I will definitely be paying more attention. MEntity: Though "monitor" is not particularly charged, it can be more inviting to consider self-observation rather than monitoring, as observation is participatory, whereas monitoring may provoke a division within. GeraldineB: Well, and Observation is my Mode, too :) MEntity: We will take a final question from Diane. Diane_HB: Would having your self-worth be dictated by others' opinions about you be an example of having one's Emotional Center of Gravity in Relationships? Diane_HB: And if it's not as bad as before but still recurs, is that an example of the fluctuation of the Center? MEntity: It can be, yes. It can also be in the vague and faceless "OTHERS" that are The World. Yes, the fluctuation may be felt in terms of how calm and how well you process on your own terms, or how distracted you are so that your processes are dictated by the terms of a Relationship or Others. Diane_HB: Thank you. This is a lot to think about. MEntity: We understand. That is why we offered this up in the context of "next wave" as it must be built upon and expanded. This transmission is merely a bit of a jumbled glimpse. But it is a beginning. Good day to each of you. We will conclude here for today. Good day to each of you. Goodbye, for now.

    Centers of Gravity

[Reproduction of NWM: Your Center of Gravity, with some participant interaction omitted[ MEntity: Hello to each of you. It could be said that there are 7 locations beyond the natural resting point, or the SELF, in which one places one's Center of Gravity: HEALTH or the Material World; CARETAKERS or The Past; LIFE, or the forces bigger than oneself; INDIVIDUALS, or intimacy and relationships; THE WORLD, or the faceless OTHERS; THE FUTURE, or Unknown; SPIRIT, or non-specific dispersion. You will no longer rotate and process from within those external factors, but bring that rotation, that calm, that centering, that process back home to you. ... Your question prompts another piece of the puzzle, as well: Keep in mind that while each of you receive an indication for your Primary or habitual Centering, ALL Centers are active and working. GeraldineB: I'm Emotionally Centered, Intellectual Part. I interpret Rotation to be regular and/or constant movement, especially as one ages and expands experiences. While I've had severe Health issues and focus during this past year, in many ways I've avoided making it my sole Center of Gravity. ...
  7. OMW - Jan 15, 2011 - Doing Vs Being Channeled by Troy Tolley Michael: Hello to each of you. We are here. We will share what we can in the context of "Doing Vs Being" as Troy has titled this exchange. The emphasis in this exchange will be on your Centering, and your Part of Centering, as well as a quick assessment of yourself and your relationship to your life, and then some solutions or tools for fulfilling your intentions. First, it is to be understood that no fragment is without all Centers. There are 7 Primary Centers, which correlate to what you may know as the 7 Chakras. There are more Chakras/Centers beyond these 7, but they are not developed enough during a Physical Incarnation to be of any practical use as a tool, though they are used and active. Those Centers/Chakras beyond the 7 come into more relevant play in Higher Planes. Though Chakra and Center are interchangeable terms for the most part, we will point out that CENTER is very different in meaning than CHAKRA. A Chakra describes the vortex of energy that acts as a kind of medium, gateway, or filter for certain energies. A Center describes your "Center of Gravity," or how your particular Personality has learned to function, be balanced, and navigate through a lifetime. The correlations between Centers and Chakras and the Overleaves can get confusing for some students, but there is a consistent correlation that we will not have to get into today. As the soul ages, the emphasis over the lifetimes moves from Doing to Being. This is not an easy experience to have while in a Young-Mature World. What tends to happen for the older soul in this paradigm is an internal conflict between that Being and Doing. The internal conflict is a begrudging attitude toward the demands of DOING, while walling up, protecting, and nurturing a rather fragile and unstable sense of BEING. [Brian_W] Michael, could you briefly describe your definitions for "Being" and "Doing" to ensure we are all on the same page? Michael: Yes, we will define BEING as a state of self-acceptance, and DOING as the action that manifests/represents BEING. For many of you, there can often be a disconnect between those two qualities so that you are DOING and BEING in very separate or managed dimensions. There are four Qualities of State that every fragment must exist within while on any Plane: DOING, BEING, HAVING, and KNOWING. These correspond to the Axes. Though the focus here is between Being and Doing, we will bring Having and Knowing into the equations that we may share for insight. Before the Old Soul cycles off, it will have found a way to bring resolution to the division between Doing and Being, regardless of any environment, imprinting, society, etc. That resolution can only come from the Integrity that develops between Doing and Being. When that resolution comes, there is very little difference between Doing and Being. The first step, then, is developing the Integrity, which is simply another word for developing Honesty, or bringing in The Truth as the bridge between those two states. Two additional developments MUST be brought into the equation for bridging two Qualities of State at some point: LOVE, and BEAUTY/Energy. In other words, every Quality of State will eventually find union/bridging through Truth, Love, and Energy. And put another way: it is only through the development of Truth, Love, Energy that one can bring Integrity, Pleasure, and Harmony to what one IS, what one HAS, what one DOES, and what one KNOWS. Until there is conscious development of those building blocks of your universe, applied to the building blocks of YOU, those Qualities of State are usually imbalanced, with one or two over-emphasized while one or more neglected. Though each building block is always in effect, it will almost always be through TRUTH that one gets started. In this case of Doing VS Being, then, the first step would be in assessing with as much honesty as possible just how closely those two states are in your life. Is what you DO representative of what you ARE? Is what you ARE nurtured by what you DO? For most of our students, we would say that approximately 25% of the life that is ACTION/DOING actually represents BEING, and that the sense of BEING is starving, so to speak, because the DOING is not nurturing/feeding BEING. This does NOT mean that because you work in a factory and are an Old Soul, then you are not representing your Old Soulness, or that your interest in the latest fashion does nothing for your Old Soulness. This does NOT mean that because you meditate every morning, do yoga at night, and smile pleasantly with pretty thoughts all day that you are honestly representing your Old Soulness, either. So the key here is not in WHAT you Do, but HOW and WHY you Do. The WHAT of your Doing is inherent in the Doing, but the HOW and WHY is the color and meaning of the What. We realize we are throwing out various familiar terms in correspondences that may be confusing, so we will share that now, so you can copy it, and refer to it as we continue: BEING = Inspirational Axis = Emotional Centering = WHO DOING = Action Axis = Moving Center = WHAT HAVING = Expression Axis = Intellectual Center = HOW KNOWING = Assimilative = Neutral/Instinctive Center = WHY One does not have to be DOING the obvious or the cliche as a means to represent BEING, or to have Integrity between the two. The key is in the Honesty between the Being and Doing, which means how much of YOU is there in what you DO. Because YOU are a spectrum, or because your Being is a spectrum, "YOU" will always be in what you DO, so the question must be even more specific: how much of the True You, True Personality, is in what you DO. Here is where things get interesting. Because YOU are in everything you DO, and because the universe is built from Truth, Love, Energy, it is impossible for your Actions to betray your Being. This is not to say that your Actions represent your True Being, but that they ALWAYS represent your Being. In some way. Everything you DO is to serve BEING. This means that even the most begrudging, routine, tedious, and terrifying tasks that you take on are somehow representing some part of your Being. So the process of bringing Integrity to bridge your Being and Doing is the process of examining exactly how what you are DOING NOW represents you now, so that you know just how far you have to go in bringing resolution. The way to do this is to ask yourself: HOW and WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO? This question can be contextualized so that you ask this in the various contexts of your life. HOW do I do my job? WHY do I do my job? HOW do I manage this relationship? WHY am I in this relationship? Or to keep the wording consistent: HOW do I do this relationship? Why do I do this relationship? This questioning can extend into areas that seem to lack Doing, as well: HOW do I NOT do a relationship? WHY do I NOT do a relationship? Asking the HOW and the WHY of your DOING gives you feedback as to where you are with yourself, and thus gives you some indication as to your current sense of BEING. To start this line of questioning, we would suggest looking at the most problematic and the most pleasant ends of your life. Before we move on, we will open the floor to discussion about what we have shared so far, starting with a question to each of you about how his line of questioning might work for you. There is no need for a queue. *****FLOOR OPEN****** [Geraldine] I'm in a fairly content and balanced state right now -- my doing is in balance with my being to a large extent -- I was much more chaotic when younger. I feel that I'm comfortable in my Old Soul late years post-5th IM. Michael: GERALDINE- we would agree with your assessment. The areas where your Doing and Being remain incongruent are specific to when your Doing is Reactionary, rather than Responsive. One way of understanding DOING as a spectrum can be through polarities of RESPONSE/ACTION vs IRRESPONSIBLE/REACTION. [Brian_W] Michael, I wanted to ask questions on how do I study for my important exam, how do I get into a relationship with a young woman that has recently caught my attention, why am I too generous with time and money, but I think the root of it comes down to: "Why don't I have sustained self-confidence in myself and my abilities?" [Brian_W] Instead of asking "how can I piece my family back together," perhaps I should be asking "why do I feel it is my personal responsibility to piece my family back together, when it seems the others only want to fight" Michael: BRIAN - asking the specific questions of DOING when asking your question will help bring some clarity. For instance: "HOW do I help heal my family?" and "WHY do I help heal my family?" This would help reveal insights that can help you then to make decisions reflective of your True Being. [Brian_W] and for my upcoming exam? Michael: Start with the question that might reveal the most insight. In this, it might be the WHY. [Brian_W] why do I procrastinate and allow myself to become distracted... Michael: Brian, we will suggest the means for your own lines of questioning, using an example, but it would be your responsibility to continue that questioning into other areas. If our example is not clear, we will help to clarify, but we cannot and will not do the extended work, of course. [Brian_W] ok [Diane_H] Brian, the bigger question might be: "why are you taking this class?" Michael: Asking yourself "HOW do I study for an upcoming exam?" and "WHY do I study for an upcoming exam?" can shed light on the Integrity there may be, not be, between your Doing and Being. And then you would recalibrate your choices and actions from there. Your first line of questioning would be in the questioning of the HOW and WHY of NOW. [Brian_W] Diane, that one I believe at least began with what Michael has referred to as "the search," and I will have to ask for later clarification on that, as it is true, but I often feel like I'm trying to search for an unknown object in the dark. I know it exists, but nothing else of it Michael: BACK TO BRIAN - the rest of your questions can be addressed in the same way: HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman? WHY do I get into a relationship with a woman? Both being asked in the context of NOW. [Brian_W] Could you explain what you mean by "the context of NOW?" Michael: This would reveal your motivations and your methods, so that you may then alter them to be more reflective of your True Being. "The context of NOW" would be literal. NOW. [Brian_W] oh, okay Michael: In the case of your seeking a relationship to a woman that you do not already have a relationship with, you would be asking of your NOW in the sense of your what your experiences have been up to NOW. HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman is asked not as an instructional question, but as an assessment. As in: how have I got into relationships, up to now? Why have I got into relationships, up to now? Or to keep the wording consistent: how do I get into relationships, up to now? etc. HOW and WHY do I get into relationships? [Brian_W] the HOW is a very good question, the WHY, ... thankfully the answer to that is starting to shift Michael: Let this first line of questioning be revealing and insightful before the more instructional questioning. [Brian_W] ok, thank you Michael Michael: In your case, it might be that the HOW and the WHY might be answered as "HOW I do relationships is eagerly," and "WHY I do relationships is because I want to feel special, loved, and important." Of course, you may have your own responses, but if these were your responses, then you would want to ask if those are honestly reflective of your BEING. The honesty here is VITAL. We cannot emphasize this enough. [Brian_W] Does it all tie back into my self-dep and self-confidence issues? It seems to be the one thing that I am hearing almost screaming into my ears on this one Michael: And by honesty here, we mean that if the answer is YES to the question, then that is not a bad or wrong answer, even if you wish it were not true. If the answer is "YES, I own the fact that my Being right now is eager to be loved, wanted, special, and important to someone, anyone," then that is far more Integrity than the denying of that. And this is key. For every one of you. By HONEST, by INTEGRITY, we do not mean wishful thinking, or idealizing your responses. In this case for you, Brian, if the honest answer were yes to the question of integrity, then you have brought yourself to a state of self-acceptance that transforms your BEING toward a wholeness that would never come from your denying your current state of being. That Integrity then carries forth into your Doing, and the very act of your accepting those current qualities in the self helps to alleviate your emphasis on someone else having to do that work of accepting you, because you now have the foundation. We think we have responded enough to help bring some insight to the questions you may ask of yourself, and will move on to respond to others. [Brian_W] thank you [Diane_H] I ask myself "why" all the time about the big picture stuff (like why do I want to have a healing practice), but when I look at it, there are many smaller things I do in fear mode. And the "how" of what I'm doing seems to be more confused than anything else. I waver between expressing and hiding. Michael: DIANE - we would say that the fearful undertones to some of your actions within your fulfilling more of your Being are because of some of the lesser-beautiful motivations that you have not fully embraced. And this goes back to what we just shared with Brian: that your answers do not have to be beautiful, noble, or glamorous; they need only be honest. "WHY do I have a healing practice" might actually include the response, "because I am more important than I was led to believe I am, and I want to share that importance in a way that proves it." We SUGGEST our responses to prompt your own, but we are not doing the work for any of you. We say this so that you do not presume we are reading something concrete to you. These are merely suggestions; relevant, but not conclusive. [Diane_H] Wow, ok [Diane_H] I was thinking of embracing the fact that I want to be self-sufficient, ie. make money doing it. Michael: What happens when one does not include the lesser-beautiful aspects of honesty is that those remain like cracks in the foundation of our fulfillments. They will constantly need tending, covering, repair, and monitoring, and this can be exhausting. [Diane_H] I hear ya Michael: Yes, Diane, and the lesser-beautiful parts of your honesty in the WHY can help in securing the HOW. For instance, if one wants to use one's healing skills as a means of self-sufficiency, but one has not embraced the lesser-beautiful motivations behind the intention, then that degree of instability is built into the foundation of fulfillment. So the foundation of fulfillment, or the DOING, will be reflective of the BEING AS IT IS. [Diane_H] Way to poke holes in my Arrogance, I like it. Michael: Keep in mind that the lesser-beautiful is alongside the beautiful. To embrace either to the exclusion of the other would be to build upon shaky foundations. So to return to DIANE specifically, it is not that your only motivation is of lesser-beauty, but that it is fair and honest to own every part of your motivation. [Diane_H] So is it accurate to say that whatever we'd like to do, accepting our "higher" or "lower" intentions is the key to fulfillment, and doing it regardless of what imprinting, society, outside forces say otherwise? Michael: Diane, you have just described the difference between True Peace, and True Defense. If your life is motivated by "in spite of," or "despite," or "regardless of," etc, then your motivation is laced with defense. However, the key to the peace is in allowing that, letting that simply be a part of the equation, not something to rise above and escape or make up for. [Diane_H] Ah, ok Michael: TO ALL OF YOU: In short, NO PERSONALITY or ESSENCE has completely noble reasons for what to DO. EVER. [AnnH] lol!! [Diane_H] :) [Martha3] for sure! [Brian_W] hehe, ah, blind idealism for the fail [AnnH] (this realist has always suspected that) [Martha3] I know that is true for me [Geraldine] Well, I know we have "what's in it for me" beneath everything -- didn't realize Essence was similar :) Michael: By "noble," we mean that there is no such thing as selflessness, sacrifice, or any other of the positive poles of the Chief Features, which are held as indicators that one is somehow "higher" in intentions. We can say this because, as we have said in many instances regarding the nature of "higher" and "positive," that the higher or more positive the pole or intention, the greater its capacity for including the lower and negative. [Diane_H] Interesting Michael: The lower or more negative, the more investment in exclusive, conclusive, and/or elusive. Higher is a sphere, where as Lower is a bowl. [Martha3] I like that, good image for understanding Michael: If you can see positive/higher, and lower/negative in those terms, it can help you to see how the movement through life is either a constant emphasis on the fear not to spill what one has put in the bowl, or the confidence in the embrace of whatever is collected and homogenized in the sphere. [Geraldine] Life is a blender [Maureen] :) [Maureen] ribitt [AnnH] This is ringing a lot of bells! [Martha3] yep Michael: Even the Transcendental and Infinite in your history found their way toward representing their Entity or Tao by embracing the totality of their Being and Doing, and building upon that, not in spite of, because of, regardless of, or despite. The one who is referred to as Buddha built upon his ignorance and naivety, his sheltered and privileged life, using it as a means of contrast and choice, rather than as a showcase for shame and guilt as fuel. So, Diane, if you look to the darker motivations of your intent for providing healing, you would find more room for light in your progress, if you will. [Diane_H] Got it, thank you. Michael: This would resolve your divide between expressing and hiding, because you will not have shame or pride to hide. [AnnH] I am content with my finances and security. My intent is to finish my novel this year, but where I have conflict is WHY I do do (I think). I'm conflicted between doing because I choose to and for my job. Being judged. Also problems with the HOW. (I am also content with how I'm approaching losing weight) Michael: ANN - we think that you have gained insight from the responses to others, but we can say some things to you directly regarding your comments. First, the HOW of your writing your novel is not a mystery: you simply must DO it. It is the WHY that holds you back. Asking the question of WHY in the Now, even if speculative, is insightful. "WHY do I write this novel?" may help you to not only focus the content of the novel, but give you satisfaction in the fulfillment. This WHY has many answers, and it is from those answers that you can either stand them all together, or choose one that feels the most motivating. Your WHY has answers that we can suggest as: "Because I can." or "Because I want to." or "Because it would be the most personal and meaningful representation of my doing something that is entirely for and from myself." We think there is insight in the last suggestion. [AnnH] yes Michael: For the most part, many of your WHYs of life have been answers like "because I have to," or "because I need to," or "because I'm expected to," or "just because," or any other number of responses that leave your part of the equation as the most passive part. Writing your novel would be the single, most representative DOING that reflects everything about your BEING that you know is true of you, and the most proactive, active part of an equation you may ever have felt. The fears that undermine your actions are related to the fears of what you may find out about yourself in the process, but those fears are natural and only seeking to protect you from activating an equation that contradicts every other equation that has worked "just fine" for you. [AnnH] When I read that I keep thinking, ah, finally, then I'll be left alone Michael: Ann, that is insightful: it means that part of your Integrity would include the honesty that you are motivated, in part, by the craving to escape the confines of routine and authority that does not support your Being. Or rather, your sense of True Being. Of course, it DOES already support your Being, but only a part of it. For you, Ann, you are the only reason you would not finish your novel, and you are the only reason it will be finished. This is a terrifying process of owning your life in a way that means it is ALL UP TO YOU. And however resentful of your routines you may have come to be, they reflect the part of your Being that does not mind others being available for blame and cause. [AnnH] ouch, yes Michael: Owning that, first, is the acceptance of that darker part of the Being that is there, so that you can get on with the business of being more than that. [Bobbbi3] Much of what I enjoy DOING for myself might appear to be escapist to some. And DOING for others is still rewarding after all these years. [Bobbbi3] Rephrasing: Why do I find so much pleasure in escapism (sleep, dvd's, tv, novels) and also in DOING for others? Michael: BOBBI - you have worked hard to embrace the darker aspects of your motivations and your Being over time, and the very same things that worked to fulfill your need for escapism are now the very things that fulfill your more adventurous, exploratory, and curious self that was always there. [Bobbbi3] How so? Michael: You moved through a state of honesty with the self that has brought integrity to your choices, so that now, for the most part, if you choose these "escapist" activities or non-activities, you choose them because you want to, not because you need to. [Bobbbi3] They seem to bring True Peace. Michael: There is a fine line between ESCAPISM and TRUE REST, or Healing. [Bobbbi3] And much joy! [Bobbbi3] Thank you so much! [Bobbbi3] And I have retired, after all... Michael: The only reason they were seen as "escape" in the past is because you had the impression that you should be making up for the time and space you use up by being alive, so any time time not dedicated to that was seen as guilty escape from the responsibility of proving your value to the world. [Bobbbi3] much imprinting/conditioning Michael: There came a revelation at one point, and one that is still being embraced, that you HAVE A RIGHT to BE, just as much as any other, and that there are no conditions or standards against which any person needs to prove himself or herself in order to enjoy that right. [Bobbbi3] I finally got that from your teachings! [Bobbbi3] Knowing I have a place in an entity in a cadre...I AM! Michael: The same could be said for your DOING for others. In the past, this may have been motivated by your need to make up for your being alive at all, but now it is because it just feels good. It is okay to care enough for others because you want to, not because you need to, and this has translated into even greater care for yourself along the way. [Bobbbi3] Many thanks. Michael: You have a place wherever you are, regardless of any non-physical, intangible place beyond this life. You belong where you are, because you are there. You belong where you wish to be or go, because you want to or need to. There is never a context in which one does not belong, if one is there. BELONG does not translate into SUPPOSED TO BE, however. [Bobbbi3] I see. Michael: For example, to say that a child in an abusive household belongs there does not mean he is supposed to be there. It simply means that, wherever one is, one IS. You are never alone, because YOU are there, and you belong to you before any other context, which translates into the RIGHT TO BE. There is a reason our universe is so fragmented from TAO all the way down to the various sub-personalities of Personality, and of Personalities to Essence, and Essences to Entity to Cadre to Energy Ring, etc. Because there is never a dimension beyond Tao wherein one is alone. The most-isolated fragment on the planet still has "himself," whether that be a sense of division within the self, or a sense of self and Essence. The craving for wholeness comes from that vast fragmentation, and the embrace of your dimensions, or fragments, is the process. The process of return to TAO. [Bobbbi3] Alone is the worst feeling. Michael: Alone is a natural feeling. Loneliness, however, is a distortion of Aloneness. Aloneness is a part of every fragment's evolution, however, loneliness is not necessary. To return to our simplified imagery, Aloneness is the sphere; Loneliness is the Bowl. [Bobbbi3] Right! Michael: No fragment can get to know himself without Aloneness. Aloneness is the opportunity to like yourself, care for yourself, be yourself, etc. Loneliness is the rejection of that opportunity. [Bobbbi3] I really do see that. [Bobbbi3] Now. [Bobbbi3] 8) [Martha3] My intent is to finish my screenplay, with the goal of being able to leave my corporate job, and I am concentrating on being myself as much as is feasible in a corp setting. Problem areas are in getting my teenager to handle her responsibilities without having to fight over it. She wears me out Michael: MARTHA - your comments prompt us to remind you that your intentions are greatly motivated by a fantasy solution to many problems. [Martha3] :) Michael: The fact that you know this is Good Work. [Martha3] Prince Charming isn't coming with a winning lottery ticket? Michael: What you do with what you know is important, however, so it is helpful for you to occasionally check yourself in terms of how much pressure you are putting on your creative efforts to be your "ticket out." Knowing that this is part of your motivation is healthy, but to forget that you are also doing this because it is simply what you love to do may undermine your energy and efforts. [Martha3] good point Michael: The same could be said for nearly every other demand upon your energy: you do most of it because you love. That is not the same thing as "love to do it," but because you LOVE. Your exasperating and exhausting time with your child is fair to describe as something you do not love to do, but that you do because you love. [Martha3] yes Michael: This is one of those finer examples of the lesser-beautiful and beautiful being embraced, rather than one or the other defining the DOING. Your BEING is reflected in your DOING, and the WHY of your Doing is because you LOVE, or try to love. This is often forgotten. [Martha3] not sure I completely understand what you are saying Michael: Though we see you have moments of sudden, emotional clarity that bring tears to how much you do love the ingredients of your life, even as you work hard to move them into higher ideals. As we said for each of you, your DOING either REFLECTS YOUR BEING, or your BEING is manifested in your DOING. As one grows in consciousness, the Doing moves from reflection of a part of your Being, and into manifestation of your True Being. So when we said that your Being is reflected in your Doing, we mean to point out that what you do is reflecting your Love, and knowing this is important to your then moving toward wholeness. That wholeness would be the acceptance that what you do (that you do not want to do) is reflecting your capacity to love, so that when you then do what you love, such as your screenwriting, you are fully present, instead of thinking it is only to escape what you (think you) do not want to do. [Martha3] I understand [Maureen] I think I'm 'kinda' where Geraldine is at - sort of - I have some days that are better than others - but generally I am so much better than I used to be at Doing and Being that it is hard to know what I could specifically be changed. Michael: MAUREEN, we would agree with your assessment. One of the last areas for you to let into the wholeness is the tendency toward self-consciousness, or self-monitoring. Sometimes this takes you away from the experiential and into a kind of autopiloting. A heightened awareness without a complete connection to the vehicle, much like driving from point A to point BE, but not remembering the trip. That was a typo, and not a clever pun on our part, by the way, but it works. [Maureen] :) Michael: But this is minimal, Maureen, and we mention it only for the sake of suggestion. [Maureen1] How do I move away from 'auto-pilot'? Michael: MAUREEN, by embracing it. There is no other way. By this we mean that you first know that it is happening when it is happening, and then decide from there whether it is something necessary for concern. Using the analogy of driving from point a to point b, was it really necessary to see the view along the way? Did you arrive safely? Did you tend to anything along the way that was important, such as avoiding a crash or taking the correct turns? Realizing when you are on auto-pilot is one thing, but then you can decide whether it is necessary to be present, or if it is okay to tune out to other dimensions along the way. It is not the autopilot that is the dividing factor, but the self-consciousness that might come from it. The self-consciousness can move to self-awareness when the conscious decision as to whether you want or need to be present is then made. Sometimes your presence is important and you will not want to afford a self-consciousness, and other times your presence can be fragmented into various tasks. Letting that become your choice is the step toward wholeness. [Geraldine] Inserting this for AFTER Maureen. First, I do not see a question posted by Nicholas aka baby-love. And, then as a final question, I would like to ask on behalf of Troy if there is anything you might offer him in terms of his doing versus being with regards to his underlying issues that might be causing his scheduling problems. Any comments that might help him with his intention to get on track and stay on track. Michael: GERALDINE, we think an entire session is in store for dedication to Troy's questions, and questions for Troy, so he will schedule this with you where we can then focus on the issues of interest. [Geraldine] Thank you Michael: Before we move on, what would Nicholas like to say? [baby-love] I am fairly content w/ the areas of my life right now in terms of BEING and DOING...as I am moving through my 4IM, I find that I am re-discovering my BEING and what DOINGS support my new clarity [baby-love] My intention this year is to move to San Diego...the WHY of it, is to be nearer to my ET, Viktor and the ocean:-) [baby-love] I guess I don't have a question other than what tools do you suggest can help me to continue lessening the gap between my BEING and DOING? Michael: NICHOLAS, the WHY of your intention also includes "because I deserve this." The concept of DESERVE is important here because this is another example of RIGHTS. [baby-love] and I want it! "I have a right to live wherever, with whomever, and however I choose and want." Michael: This is because so much of your life, up to the point of your dive into the 4th Internal Monad, was spent guided by SHOULDS, and now you are guided by COULDS. [baby-love] yes, indeed! [Brian_W] so its okay to admit selfishness and wanting something, as long as we keep in mind that getting it is another story? Michael: BRIAN, it is always "okay" to admit to selfishness, but we point out that while there is never an act that purely selfless, it is not always selfish. Selfish and lack of Selflessness are not the same thing. Selfish, in this context, would be a state that might include "regardless of; in spite of; despite;" etc, whereas lack of selflessness simply means that it is okay to admit that it makes you feel good, that you want it, that you gain by doing it, etc. It is "okay" to admit all of that. Admitting that your most selfless of acts actually feel good and that is why you do it, or admitting that you are partially-motivated by a kind of defiance, are all Good Work. Often, there may even be a mix. TO CONTINUE ON. And to work toward concluding our time with you: As you can see, each of you would do well to examine whether you are inclusive of both the darker and lighter, less-beautiful and beautiful, of your intentions. Some of you have emphasized the beautiful and have dismissed or did not realize the value in embracing the less-beautiful. Some of you have emphasized the less-beautiful and did not think you had a right to include the more beautiful, or the lightness of your intentions. So keeping an eye to your intentions in terms of the whole of their motivations can help you to free up energy for fulfillment of those intentions. In terms of CENTERING, your habitual Centering and PART of CENTER can give you clues as to why you have your intentions in the first place: Every Center corresponds to a BASIC RIGHT of PERSONALITY and ESSENCE. The three Lower Centers tend to be of those that an individual will develop habitual uses. Even when one uses a Higher Center, it can never be the habitual Center. The Higher Centers are not designed to be Centers of Gravity for the functions of the body and personality, but only to be *experienced* by the body and personality. Tears, Pleasure, and Laughter are physical manifestations of the Higher Centers. Imagine life lived in tears, pure pleasure, and constant laughter. In theory, this sounds delightful; in reality, that person is "crazy." Therefore, we will point to the Lower Centers as a helpful insight into your motivations. Your PRIMARY CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most-easily SUSTAIN, which means that even without effort, you work to sustain that Right. Your PART of CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most seek to fight for, to defend, to clarify, and this usually takes effort, or is often challenged. The Center that is least-used is one that you NEED the most, as in, you often forget that this is a Right that is missing in your life, needs attention, etc. EMOTIONAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to LOVE and BE LOVED. INTELLECTUAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to SPEAK or HEAR the TRUTH. MOVING CENTERING = your RIGHT to CHOOSE, or your RIGHT to BE FREE, to take action, or do what you want to do. Looking to your own Centering then can lend insight into your motivations, consciously or subconsciously. For instance, one who is Emotionally-Centered, Intellectual Part, might be one who naturally Loves, finds it easy to love, and accepts that she is motivated by desires to love and be loved. It is a given that this is an important part of life, a Right. The Intellectual Part would indicate that this fragment may find herself in positions where speaking up, saying the truth, sharing the truth, her truth, or being honest, is often challenged, an "issue," a Right that must often be stood up for. It would also indicate that this is an area of necessary refinement so that her truth can be heard, and not just something shouted into the world, or imposed, in contrast to some whose are hidden and unspoken. What this fragment, then, might find as a missing key, or a Right that is not practiced, and often forgotten, is the Right to Choose, to Do, to take Action, to be Free. Looking to the PART can give insight into your motivations, and looking to the neglected Centering can give insights into what key might be brought into the equation for fulfillment of your intentions. For instance, this person would forget that her secret resource is in her DOING at all. That she must DO what she wants to do, in order to practice her Right to Freedom, instead of getting caught up in the battle for only protecting her Right to Speak/Hear The Truth. Do each of you understand and find relevance to your Centering? [Maureen1] Yes :) [AnnH] Yessir. Michael: Keep in mind that these are indications of your habits, not something static, and these may change over time, or in certain contexts. [Geraldine] Yes (but I'm Emotional/Intellectual; so I got a bigger explanation) [Diane_H] yep [Bobbbi3] yes [baby-love] yep, absolutely! [Geraldine] Martha is away for a moment Michael: To conclude our little group tonight, we will synopsize: ONE) clarify your intentions TWO) own the whole of your motivations for those intentions, including the darker elements that may not seem fair or "good." They are important parts that, if ignored, may be your undoing. THREE) What you do ALWAYS reflects at least a part of your BEING, but when you choose what to do, you manifest your True Being. FOUR) Understanding the WHY and HOW of your doing can lend insight into the wholeness of your motivations, and then you can embrace that, or alter it. FIVE) Your habitual Centering, Part of Centering, and neglected Centering (or an easier terminology would be your Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Centering) give great insight, not only into your Intentions, but into your basic motivations for every action. SIX) your Being and Doing do not have to be exclusive Quality of States, but brought into harmony to widen your playground of life. And, eventually, they will be. We know there is much more we could discuss in the context of this topic, but we think this is plenty of food for thought, or for doing, and this is a start. Good evening to each of you. We will conclude here. Goodbye.
  8. NYC Michael Speaks LIVE: Freedom from Life Traps May 14, 2011 Note from Janet: This is the transcription (by Elaine) of the live session from video. MEntity: Ok, We can begin now, and hello to each of you. We understand the topic to be a broader context of healing for the life in terms of cumulative effects of wounding over a period of time within the lifetime. We realize that Troy's idea is not quite clarified, so we will build on that as best we can, and share what we think might be helpful relative to the intent of this idea. So first we will say that there is a concept that could be described as a trap, but also described as weight, an anchor, a vortex, emptiness, and so forth, that describes the experience of your life in some way being held back to a degree that you have become aware of this. Some people have these same traps or anchors, or holes or emptiness, that do the same thing. It holds them back, but they are not aware of it and it does not matter to them, and these fragments can function in their lives in a way that is acceptable to them. But for some, who are either self-aware enough or sensitive enough, there is awareness that something is wrong, and by wrong we mean by your standards, and that is why those who have the same conditions that we will talk about today could function and be happy and fulfilled even though they have these same conditions as another person who has become aware of these conditions and feels the necessity for healing it. It is up to you how you deal with those conditions. So when we say that you know something is wrong, we mean that in the most relative and subjective sense possible. On your terms something is wrong. Something is holding you back. In our system of Overleaves we describe centers that help you understand your navigational process through a lifetime. On the most mundane of levels these are the Intellectual, Emotional and Moving centers. By the age of 3, most of you have decided which one of these centers is the most comfortable for your body, for your patterns of choice, for your intentions and so forth, and you will have that centering: Emotional Centering, Intellectual Centering or Moving Centering. This of course is flexible and can change all the time and at any point become replaced by new habits that you implement, but for the most part most personalities tend towards a centering that becomes habitual. This is relevant because as you progress through the lifetime you will develop preferences for your centering, not only primary centering, but a secondary centering, which is often what is described as the part of the centering. The third centering is the most neglected and/or the resolving center that helps to bring balance to the other two that are more habitually used. The goal for those of you who are self-aware enough is to use the centerings appropriately and at will, and consciously so that if you are in a situation that requires intellectual centering, then that is what you can pull up, if you are in a situation that is emotionally centered, then you are able to use that and if action is required then you can use that. All of this is relevant to the concept of healing your life, or freeing yourself from the traps that have developed over a period of time. You tend to try to solve your problems and issues and cumulative effects of wounding, using the most familiar and preferable combination of centering, and what you will end up doing is creating a trap, and that is why that term is relevant in regards to this topic. You will find yourself cycling through two components of your centering in a way that keeps that part of your life stuck and unchanging, becoming a form of weight, or vortex, emptiness, loneliness, unfulfilled intentions and dreams and so on, blocked creativity. What we are talking about today is the chronic aspects of these, not something short term. Are you aware of that sense of a trap that feels like it is holding you back, or blocking a sense of being fully alive, currently in your life now? It is not uncommon and certainly is not unsolvable. First we will point out that your primary centering is how you take in life. The part of your centering is how you put it back out there, and the tertiary centering is how you bring balance to those two — the center and the part — or break the pattern that has become a trap. A very simplistic example would be someone who is Emotionally Centered navigating life through feelings, and directions that pull them towards inspiration, often using perception as the means for navigating the life. Because the emotions do not require logic, they simply require a developing internal trust of Perception, which is the positive pole of the emotional centering. And so this individual would navigate life based on feelings. If it feels right, that person would go in that direction; if it feels wrong, that person may question. And if they are Emotionally Centered with an Intellectual Part, this means that this person would navigate life based on their feelings and then express those feelings because of the Intellectual Part. So this individual would like to talk about these feelings, and find a way to share those feelings and basically create a construct for those feelings. Often using the positive pole of the Intellectual Centering would develop insights based on those feelings, because the positive pole of the Intellectual Center is Insight. And so they are able to make sense of their feelings and then possibly do something with that, by pulling in the Moving Center. Although the centers that we describe correlate quite nicely with the chakra system, we do use the terminology in a different way that the chakra system describes. We describe your centering based on the concept of “center of gravity”. So for those who have Emotional Centering, that is their center of gravity. This can translate into the chakra system, but we want to make it clear that they are not necessarily [interchangeable], in terms of these concepts and terminology. Going back to our example of an Emotionally Centered personality, this individual is going to navigate life through feelings. So this person will feel and then think with the Intellectual Part. So as trauma happens and wounding occurs, it happens first to the emotions and then it has to go through the thinking process or through the thoughts, through the intellect. If insight is not accomplished, then it falls into the negative pole of Reasoning. The experience will often cycle back through the emotions generating new feelings in response to the thoughts that just occurred, which then must pass back through the thought process, and what happens in that case, is a vortex is created, or a loop is created, that we call a trap. Those experiences that you take on as wounding take on in a cumulative effect that becomes what we will describe as your life traps. To differentiate from the centering traps, we'll call it the Life Trap. This person will keep trying to solve the situation by feeling it out, thinking it through, feeling it out, thinking it through, feeling it out, thinking it through, and so on, until it becomes a weight much like the process of generating a pearl within a clam, except this is not as beautiful to each of you. Understanding the origins of what is causing the effects of the Life Trap is not as necessary as what you do in response to that now. In other words it is not necessary to go back and work through or understand or feel out or correct anything obvious or tangible at this point, at the first step. The first would be to free yourself from the effects of that Life Trap. That would be the first step. Often it is the only step necessary because once you have freed yourself from being locked into that Life Trap, it often loses all significance whatsoever, consciously or subconsciously. The way to free yourself from that is to break the pattern that you are using in dealing with it. So the person who has a Life Trap that has been developed from trying to deal with wounding by having feelings about it, trying to make sense of it, which causes more feelings which causes more confusion and so forth, this individual would want to emphasize tremendously the Moving Center, which has been left out of the process. Those of you who are Intellectually Centered Emotional Part, or Emotionally Centered Intellectual Part, probably can attest to the fact that there is very little action that you take to break the cycle of your emotions and your thoughts in regards to what you feel is holding back your life. Would you agree? If you know your center? The same would apply to those who are Intellectually Centered Moving Part or Moving Centered Intellectual Part. That the allowance of feelings and the exploration of feelings and the embrace of inspiration, which is where the emotions and Inspirational Axis are tied together, would be a common neglected area of the life that might be obvious to a person with that centering combination. We realize that this sounds quite simplistic, to say that whatever centering of the three lower centers is neglected is the solution, but it truly is that simple. For an individual whose life feels as if it is blocked who is Emotionally Centered Intellectual Part, more action is necessary in that life to break that cycle and to free that individual from the effects of the Life Trap. Nothing else is required. For the individual who has neglected the Emotional Centering, allowing feelings, allowing affection, allowing anything that related to trusting and perception, would break the cycle. The emphasis on the neglected centering would be proportional to the weight of the Life Trap. So while someone who has neglected the Emotional Center could allow the experience of being hugged to be felt, it would not change the life in that moment. But in the same way that the Life Trap became a Life Trap through cumulative insults and wounding, so would the resolution come in cumulative effects. However it does not take as long as the Life Trap took to develop. It can be changed depending on the commitment and the awareness of the emphasis of the neglected center. Question: So if, using your example, Emotional Center Intellectual Part, having to use the Moving Center, is it in general or does it have to be specific to what your trap is? Moving is moving? MEntity: We would say it has to be the positive pole, so in terms of a neglected Moving Center, you would not want to move to just move in terms of the negative pole of being frenetic or in some cases frustrated. Frustration and frenetic behavior are results of an imbalanced Moving Center. So having random fidgeting, or restlessness, or sexcapades, or masturbation, or simply running errands and so forth, does not bring the resolve that is necessary. You would want to be in the positive pole, which is Productivity. In other words, the actions would show results. The actions that you are taking bring about some sort of result that you intended. And that is our definition of productivity, in that the results that you intended you achieve. Question: Unclear MEntity: Which is where we think we were headed in the elaboration on the difference between the positive and negative poles: the productivity does not necessarily in the beginning relate to something from your past that has caused, or that you feel is at the core of, your Life Trap. At the beginning it is simply doing something that provides positive results for you. However in the process of bringing that centering some emphasis and activity: for instance, simply working out, so that at least something in your life that you feel could benefit from action begins to show results. The ideas and the awareness of more specific actions that might be more connected to the Life Trap could come to the surface and to your awareness, and then end up making more of an impact. But at first it is simply making the effort to focus your actions in a way that brings intended results. The details will come later. Does this answer the question? Audience: Yes thank you Question: (UNCLEAR) — unrelated and left out MEntity: If you know your centering, what do you know has been neglected, and do you have questions about how to emphasize it or how it might show up etc.? Question: (Unclear) about lack of action and why one would not take action? (Why it is neglected?) MEntity: It is not so strange; it is daunting. If there were a structure involved which you can insert your ideas into, your productivity would be more obvious and more immediate. But for many creative fragments often the actual tangible results of that creativity is lost when the structure is not provided. Structure comes easily to Artisans, but to Sages it is a little bit more complicated and difficult. Artisans naturally develop a structure that can become a path to tangibility of the creative process, but for Sages it is a little different, and the structure often has to come from external sources. For any Sage who feels blocked in his or her creativity or in his productivity, it is often that one key element that is left out: the necessity for providing structure. Once in the framework of a structure then you are free to develop a path to tangible results. So you would use that as your first step, seeking resources for the structure, instead of being the one responsible for developing that structure. You might find results come much more quickly and easily. Question: But he is very good at structuring all the other little details in his life MEntity: Those are compensatory structures, to make up for the lack in the area that is not being fulfilled. Question: Yeah I know, but I am saying if he can structure all of these other little doodads… it would seem like he should be able to structure.... MEntity: Compulsive structuring is quite different from creative structuring Audience: Oh Good Point MEntity: One is a form of protection and one is a form of creativity, and the realm of creativity is vastly unknown. The realm of compulsive structuring is vastly familiar, and it is very easy to move in that direction for comfort and security, to compensate for the sadness or the lack of fulfillment in the unstructured creative realms. Does this make sense to you? Question: It makes sense but I am not exactly sure what an outside source of structure is MEntity: This could show up in many different ways: having a friend work with you so there is accountability, having someone who could volunteer the time and the energy to manage your ideas, and help put them into an outlined structure. In other words, asking for help would be the first step, and that help would be from someone who is experienced in doing what you have already done, or rather doing what you intend to do. This could come in a form of asking a person or simply doing the research and seeing if there are already, for instance, programs online that might help to bring that structure for you. But for the most part, Sages require accountability and in the process of having someone to report to, who is also privy to the structure required, productivity can soar. We cannot provide the solution for you as to where that resource is but we can suggest to you that it is a step towards using the action required to break free from that Life Trap. You understand? Question: Yeah, it is something I have thought many times. I wish that I only had someone to help me and then the other part of my inner dialogue says, “Why do you need to have someone to help? Everyone else does it on their own.” I just always had this feeling that if there was someone to help me, I would Just Soar. That is how I felt. MEntity: There is actually no better word. That would be what would occur. In part of the cumulative effect of that trap is the lie that you must do it alone, and convincing yourself that others have done it alone. More often than not, they did not. Even if incremental steps of a successful creative person were done on their own, then eventually other people had to become involved. And depending on the individual, the point at which people are necessary, or that structure or whatever might be necessary for that individual, is relative to that individual. And in your case, it would be helpful from the very start. Any other questions? Question: I have a question about Moving Part of the Intellectual Center. I never really did grasp what it meant not to use Emotional Center, as I don't feel that I am without feelings. I don't really see how it is applied in certain situations. MEntity: All of your centers are present and all of them are active to some degree. Some of them more restricted and in the negative poles and some of them more towards the positive poles and freer flowing of the energy relative to that centering. And in your case, you have continually, from what we can see, moved towards a greater capacity towards the positive poles of your centers, but the Life Trap would have come from frustration and annoyance, not only with others but with yourself, because of that Intellectual Center Moving Part trap. You would have developed many reasons for your experiences, and as you navigate it is based on reasons. And then the Moving Part would be bringing it back out into the world in forms of frenetic activity, doing just to be doing, or even frustration. Often this can also show up as rage and anger, which then of course can flip and become depression and defeat. It is not that you don't feel, but with this cycle being your trap, it is going to keep the emotions in a state of sentimentality, so that you blurred the line between symbols and meaning. That is how we describe the negative pole of the Emotions; that you have lost the differentiation between symbolism and meaning, so that if you are not showing up in a way that you feel you should be, that means something about you. If others do not show up the way that you expect them to show up, that means something about them. Or there may be attachments to figures in your life from the past that you feel have impacted you in some way. That if these individuals had not been that way, or were not that way or are not that way, then you may be clear. We could come up with many examples but we will leave it to you to find more relevant examples or more specific examples. The most obvious way, and the greater context in which the Emotions being neglected would show up for you is in the difference between trust and distrust. In the neglect of the Emotional Center, there is a greater distrust of yourself, of your life, of those in your life. Whereas the positive pole of the Emotions, which is Perception, moves into a state of trust, develops, builds and accumulates experiences that develop a sense of trust in the self in the life and in others. When that part or that centering is neglected, trust is a great issue. Does this ring true? Audience: Absolutely MEntity: So what you would want to do as part of your solution to breaking that cycle is to consciously choose trust in situations that allow for it. By that we mean to fall back on experiential differentiation. You may have developed a distrust based on some things that have happened to you in your life, but every experience has the potential to bring new results. So therefore it is an opportunity to trust yourself, because at least you have that to depend on. You have survived situations, you have risen above situations, you have gotten through situations. You have been there for you. Even if you have been harsh sometimes, you have been there for you, and that is the first place that you can start for developing or choosing trust that at least I trust myself. No reasons, no necessary logic involved. No actions necessary, just the choice to trust. And in doing so, this can begin to extend to people around you and that doesn't mean always trusting in obvious ways. It can sometimes mean trusting that what is frustrating you about this person is okay, because that person has to make the choices necessary for his or her life, and whether they correspond elegantly with your own or not, does not determine your capacity for trust. Question: Unclear Response/Question MEntity: We think this may have provided some insight into how your dynamic works. So the first step then is to free yourself from the experience of that weight of the Life Trap, by emphasizing the neglected center. The second would be to then pay attention to the results of that emphasis and what that brings to your attention, because once you start doing or feeling in a way that you have neglected, new layers of yourself are going to come to the surface. New resources and energy will be brought to the surface, and at first these can be disturbing and frightening and often kick in your self-defense, your chief negative features, your basic fears. So when you feel defensive, or more broadly described, when you feel self-protective, you are probably closer to the breakthrough than not. What you would want to do in that situation then is to make your choices to go forward anyway. That is if you choose to do so, and is not our instruction but is only our information, that you can use however you would like. Once you start to feel defensive, once you start to feel vulnerable, scared, reactionary, etc., allow that experience but choose to go through it, and in so doing you may find yourself completely free from what we would describe as your Life Trap. Again this may take time and repeated efforts over time, but that is the simplest formula for freeing yourself from that weight. Again that weight might then lose its significance altogether so that you do not have to go back and address the issues that might come to the surface. But if they do, you would have the resources, the balanced resources within you to be able to handle that. Right now the reason why it has become a Life Trap is because you do not have the skills or the tools at your disposal for handling going back and dealing with what has accumulated. It will take your breaking that cycle and building on that for you to then have the tools for you to deal with that from your past. Does this make sense to you? If you had the tools and the resources and the skills now, you would have dealt with it. So give yourselves time and free up that energy and then make your choices from there. Again that is if you choose to work on this concept of the Life Trap. We will add one more thing to consider as you break this cycle of the Life Trap and its effects on you. There may come a point where you may experience something that might be considered enlightenment as a result of your efforts. And by this we simply mean that you have a realization or a revelation, a breakthrough, that stunningly sheds light on your life in a way that can bring great amounts of emotion, tears, sometimes a breakdown to some extent. A brief short one, but it is something to consider as a possible result, because once that flow of energy has been allowed that has not been allowed throughout most of your life to this point, it can move you into states of bliss and higher centered experiences that you are not familiar with. This can be disconcerting and sometimes be misread as having done something wrong, or throwing yourself into an abyss of the unknown in a way that is terrifying, but often it is because you've cleaned the slate. You've freed energy, and now you're back to your spectrum of choices that has become far vaster than you've experienced. And that can be terrifying to the personality who has taken comfort in these Life Traps for so long. So we caution you to be aware of this as a part of the process of freeing yourself from your Life Traps, so that when you get to that point you embrace it as a revelation that it is, and not something destructive or life threatening. And with that we will close the topic unless you have questions relative to it. And we can take personal questions for a round or two, if that is what you would like to do. Personal Questions Excluded
  9. January 6, 2000 Troy Tolley, Channel Conscious Connection to Essence Note: This series continues in Michael Speaks -- Conscious Connection to Essence (2 of 3). [Michael_Entity] We are here. One moment. Welcome to your New Year. We realize and understand the significance of this marking, as it is an ingredient of human sentience to measure time with great marks. It also marks the close of one of the more unusual “windows” for a Nexus (parallel shift), which has not gone unnoticed by many of you. As we move into this topic, “creating conscious connection to Essence”, we feel it best to have it an on-going discovery on your part, a journey of remembering, or a journey of re-connection. You will always “embody” or express Essence, even if only minutely. It is never a matter of “finding” Essence or seeking Essence, it is always about becoming CONSCIOUS of Essence. When you, as Personality, are lacking consciousness in direction or action, feelings, thoughts, etc., you are limiting Essence’s expression, but you can never truly limit Essence. You merely limit your personal intimacy with Essence. Essence will freely allow a Personality to run “amok” or fall into fear and pain, though these experiences are ALWAYS as a result of a Personality’s decisions. Essence inherently steers a life away from these, but Personality is invaluable to Essence and Essence can never know what “burns” unless at least ONE version of a Personality touches the “fire” so to speak. For those experiences, Essence is deeply grateful, even if it, itself, is inclined more toward what the nature of a particular universe is. In this case, your universe is EXPANDING, therefore Essence seeks expansion as well. Expansion is recognized in terms of pleasure, fulfillment, happiness, joy, and love… those things that give Personality pleasure are in synchronicity and alignment with Essence. This is so, regardless of temporary social mores, standards and judgments of the time. As we said, the journey toward enhancing your conscious connection to Essence will be paved with your own realizations, questions, and sharing. [debo] Regarding conscious connection to essence–If one is talking to essence and continuing a dialogue going during a day–is this as valid as meditating and connecting to one’s higher self? It seems too easy in a way. We will begin with the question posed by the fragment known as “debo” here. One moment. In answer to debo and her question: You have addressed a very subtle factor in many Personalities seeking conscious contact with Essence. Having and maintaining contact with Essence is always thought of in terms of something “other than” self; something more extravagant, more magickal, more ‘something’ than the Personality, itself. Therefore, it is many times assumed that contact with Essence must be marked by some kind of initiation, ritual, or euphoric sense of knowing, some complicated/complex passage. This is simply not true, though it certainly can be your decision if you require such meaning for your progress. What helps put things into perspective is that Essence not only CREATED you, as you know it, but also NEEDS you. You are its eyes, its heart, its hands, its feet, its face, and its fantastic world of physical sensation. It is blind without you. It is blind in many ways while dealing with the Physical Plane. As you are, in as many ways, without it. This means Essence listens to you with great depth of compassion, commitment, and interest. While Essence can see your larger contexts, your Agreements, your Karma, and many other factors that are not necessary for you, as Personality, to know, it innocently has no idea how important a good night’s sleep is, how important it is to you to be held, or how a bowl of cherries might make your day. You, as Personality, “feed” this information to Essence as you experience it. While some of you “speak” to Essence and continually co-create the life, many of you use your Instinctive Centered years or Instinctive Reviews (individually) for “uploading” or updating your Essence. Many of you may feel you “speak” to Essence to no avail, but we suggest that if you are feeling along these lines, you are not speaking to Essence, you are simply in need of more tangible and physical support. It is valid and important that you seek this out. Essence cannot magickally “rescue” you; it is as interested in your panic and plight. You are all capable of making changes in your life that you seek, and you are all capable of reaching out for others. When it appears Essence isn’t “listening”, try reaching out for or allowing a “spirit in the flesh” into your life. So, in answer to your question or comment, debo, it is usually quite a wonderful experience for a Personality to address its Essence on a daily basis, even if simply in words and thought. It teaches Essence about the more subtle aspects of the life. Otherwise, this is only extracted upon life review, or during Instinctive reviews. What we will be working toward in this journey, is a sense of Essence BEING you, not just being spoken to by you. We will speak more on this later as the class consciousness builds. [Barry] I’m wrestling with the phrase “creating a conscious connection to Essence”. Would you explain what you mean by “conscious”? Do you mean a waking knowledge of the essence that is us? How do we know when we have achieved this? Are there different methods of doing this best suited for each of us? [Michael_Entity] What we mean by ‘conscious’ here is basically a code word for “acceptance”. In many of your cases, Essence is distanced to a great degree, even if honored by you. Another way of describing this class topic may be “choosing to accept your Essence” and all that that implies. [Barry] You make it sound like that implies a lot…. [Michael_Entity] As you progress through this class, you have the opportunity to not only experience your Essence INTIMATELY, but to allow Essence to experience YOUR world intimately. The possibilities to blur your lines of differentiation are high. For each Role, there will be different paths, yes, and when you are maintaining a sense of Essence daily, it will be rare to find your world threatening, unsafe, unloving, or disappointing. This, then, is part of the symptoms that will allow you to “know” of your conscious connection. [Barry] We will be in a “state” of LOVE? [Michael_Entity] We cannot answer that yet as we would need to determine whether we are talking about the same thing. Most of you do not comprehend what Love is as a universal truth but usually refer to the sensations or peripheral counterparts stirred by connections and relief. We might suggest that the sensations are the first signs that you are near Love, but most have not grasped the reality and implications of what Love truly is. We will be outlining the Roles and their potential “paths” to consciousness as we build here tonight. We wanted to hear your questions tonight to help us better customize our interactions with you in regards to this topic. [MBV] I seem to have a hard time seeing through the haze of my Overleaves. Could Michael give me some examples of the artisan role in essence that would help me identify those qualities which is my essence speaking to me? Would these qualities be true for all artisans? [Michael_Entity] You have long survived as Personality “alone” and it is Good Work that you acknowledge your strengths as such. It is a confusion that Essence must be involved in all undertakings while you are Physical or it implies you are “lost”, but this is not true. The entire basis of parallel realities is to allow the Personality its varying versions and ideas about what the life “should”/”could”/”might” be like. Essence has it’s “original plan”, but it relishes in the creativity that a Personality might run with. In your case, Mary, you have “branched” and “branched”, so to speak, far from the “trunk” of your original plans, drawing in realms of extreme experiences that were not necessarily Essence’s “idea”, but are enriching your collective self entirely. You have now found yourself being drawn back into Essence after exhausting a creative path as desired by Personality. This is the motivation behind your questions and feelings. In this process, your first glances in recognizing Essence will appear to be “in a haze” as you have always as Personality been “your own strength”. You now seek Essence as a resource in addition to “you” as you know you. You will have to “get to know” Essence again. In your case, your “unruly”, giddy, untamed flows of energy are your Essence flowing and speaking. In most cases when you’ve “heard this voice” you funnel this energy “reasonably” or hold it off until “appropriate”, as this has become one of your strengths: to “behave”. As you bring more of your Essence in and your world starts to align to it, you will find the balance that will allow safety and peace, with no threat to your security built. For now and over the next three months or so it might be expected that you feel very disoriented, moody, extreme in emotion, as you relinquish some of your Personality’s precious and justified hold. We will address more of this privately and personally. We will also note here that there are, yes, certain qualities that each Role can recognize as being in Essence, but they are only references. It is always an individual discovery. In your case, you, as Personality, are discovering that you and Essence can “play” without getting into “trouble”. [debo] If we are maintaining a sense of Essence and are seeking joy and pleasure but instead feel disappointment, is this due to unrealistic expectation? How do we know what is a valid path for Essence to experience (our chosen source of) joy, and what is not valid? [Michael_Entity] If what you seek is being called “joy” and “pleasure” but ending in disappointment, then you are not perceiving the truth of that situation. Joy ends in Joy. Pleasure ends in Pleasure. There is no exception. If what you seek is based on the IDEA of joy or pleasure, you may want to reassess if the results are proving otherwise. Another valid consideration is that the situation may simply be a larger context than that which gives you joy and therefore must be examined in parts. For instance, to say you love to eat does not mean you enjoy the full, overblown sense after, or the gas, or the heartburn, etc. It may simply be a matter of altering the experience so the emphasis is on the joyful part, EATING, but with more conscious moderation so as to eliminate that which creates a less joyful or even disappointing end. You may enjoy eating, but not eating certain foods, or so much at a time. It usually only takes a moment, but certain commitment, to dissect or clarify exactly what it is that is pleasurable in the seeking, and how to adapt or alter those parts less appealing. “Unrealistic Expectation” does lead to disappointment, but this can be used to your advantage. If EXPECTATION is instead seen as enthusiasm, and DISAPPOINTMENT is seen as knowledge, then much is gained. This is an entire topic unto itself. As for the “validity” of a path for Essence: this is determined through your personal sense of happiness. In fact, that is the main question for the next three months from Essence as the Instinctive is moved through: “does this contribute to my happiness?” Happiness, at least in this universe, is a navigational tool for Personality. If you are unhappy, and you know it, this is good. This means you are honest with yourself. Being honest with you allows empowerment. Empowerment is implemented through planning. Planning is carried out through creativity and enthusiasm. Creativity and enthusiasm is sustained by seeking pleasure/happiness. Pleasure and happiness are guaranteed when being “present” in your life. Being “present” in your life means you are being honest. Though this is a crudely displayed path in words, with some examination you will see its merit. Each of these facets (6) revolve around a central concept that might be considered “living”, completing a septant for change. More on this later. [nemo999] I feel cut off from my essence; is it that I want to control it or I am not accepting/unhappy? [Michael_Entity] You are never truly cut off from Essence, but Essence can be cut off BY you as Personality, at least in terms of conscious connection. In your longing for Essence, it is doubtful you are cut off in any case; Essence responds immediately to any thought in its “direction”. In other words, it may not be Essence you seek or miss, but the “essence” of something else. Nemo, you have experienced losses that still require grieving. Grieving is acceptance of some “hard” truths for the Personality. It would not be amiss at this point in your life to “go back” to what you have lost, indulge in the grief as a process, allowing freedom for that energy, thus making space for something more. For now, it appears you are still hoping or holding out for a revision of a time since passed. You are not alone or cut off from Essence, Nemo, quite the opposite. You are a tremendously sensitive body, it appears, and your Personality and Essence will change your scenario when you are done with the feelings being explored. We remind you all that this forum is difficult to “skim” over your very important and personal lives, so we suggest taking our responses as PART of a larger response, not a complete response. We just do not, through this format and channel, have the space or time available to be effective for all of you on that level. To summarize, Nemo, determine what tangible thing it is in your life you miss. Your answers can be revealed in that. You are looking “UP” for answers when you might want to look “back”. [rion] When meditating I have at times felt a very loving presence which I interpreted to be Essence. However, people channel and are in contact with “other”. What is essence and what is “other”? How does one tell? [Michael_Entity] In all cases of channeling, meditating, etc., it is ALWAYS your Essence which makes first contact. In the same way that you cannot interact with “other” without a Personality while Physically extant, so too is it impossible to contact nonphysical “others” without Essence as the medium. In reaching out during meditation or channeling without specificity, you can rest assured it is Essence in some way. If you seek contact with nonphysical “others” specifically, Essence will act as medium. So our answer is, in creating specificity this allows you as Essence and Personality to differentiate the subtleties between self and other. This can be done only with practice, as many beginning attempts for contact with “other” are almost entirely based on filtering of many sorts. To understand this, observe your experiences when meeting a new stranger, physically, between Personalities. This will lend you insights into how you will differentiate subtleties nonphysically. For some, interaction with another person to determine “who” that person is may last a few minutes, for others a few years or more. In your case, you are adept at “reading” a person and this also spills into your explorations in the non-physical. We can also suggest you attach symbolism to what you know you want to contact. For instance, you can ask that Essence present itself as a certain colour, feeling or sound. This then would help you determine differences when touching other sources. [Sandra51] I understand that the Chakra system and Essence has a connection. Would you describe this in relation to the topic tonight? In a nutshell, ha ha. [Michael_Entity] We will touch on it briefly, but will get a more succinct transcript out for Otterly and your discussion list later. As you explore your conscious connection to Essence, you will also be heightening your sense of self as a Personality. As you explore your sense of self as a person, you will make more room for Essence in your life. It is a two way street, so to speak. In exploring yourself on either level, it is important to examine your “rights” as a physical being and your expression of those “rights” and/or the damage or interference to those “rights”. For each chakra, or Center, there is a basic “right” that the Personality must have tended to fully embody the Essence. We say “embody” as a convenience, as it is actually the opposite. YOU as Personality are embodied in Essence. You most basic “right”, relating to the Instinctive, is your right to exist, or be alive at all. The right to be real. This can also be said to be your right to “have”. Your second Center/Chakra must be examined in terms of your right to feel, experience intimacy, and create. Your third chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to take action, or to make change. Another way to put it is your right to be free. Your fourth chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to be loved, and to love. Your throat chakra, or 5th Center, is your right to the truth, whether speaking it, or hearing it. Your 6th chakra/Center can be examined in terms of your right to perceive, to have vision. This can also be said to be your right to dream, on all levels. And finally, your 7th Chakra/Center is your examination of your right to spirituality, or your right to ” inner knowledge”. Though we skimmed these, the slightest examination of these areas of your life can be revealing in what Centers/Chakras are not being cared for or possibly denied, thus blocking Essence. They may have also been damaged or imprinted with allowances from other fragments in the life. The three “lower centers” (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are all the most obvious and easily examined. They are the keys to balancing Personality. In fact, these centers can potentially be examined with a degree of accuracy, at least as a starting point, in your translating your personal Centering in your Overleaves. When looking at your Centering it might be said that your primary centering is the right you SUSTAIN, while the PART of the centering is the right you “FIGHT FOR”. We remind you that Emotional Centering is your right to feel, Intellectual Centering is your right to speak or hear truth, and Moving is your right to act out or make change. The Instinctive Center is always under examination and use so it is almost always in some form of distortion without conscious guidance. This is balanced through creating a daily balance among your “lower centers”. The “higher centers” (2nd, 6th, and 7th) are keys to your understanding your connection to Essence. With examination, if any of these centers appear to be limited or distorted through fear or imprinting, it will be your task to incorporate experiences which fulfill that level of your rights, if you choose. We will conclude here then. Goodnight.
  10. Michael Speaks Live Psychic Hygiene October 8, 2011 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We can begin with discussion about the topic suggested: "Psychic Hygiene" For most fragments, the physical plane is met with some amount of awareness brought to the importance of Physical and, eventually, Spiritual Hygiene, or maintenance, if you will. Depending on the culture, sometimes one is emphasized over another, or both are emphasized, but these two "bodies" are often considered as priorities, either together or separately. Physical hygiene is fairly clearly understood as a necessity in modern culture and civilizations, and while the methods and motivations may differ across those, the effects are still beneficial. Spiritual Hygiene begins to be considered as a result of survival or prosperity. Rituals and practices come into play as a plea in times of struggle, or as a means to explore in times of prosperity. While the variations in Physical methods and motivations for hygiene tend to have the same effects and benefits, the rituals and practices for Spiritual Hygiene do not. Spiritual Rituals and practices tend to be geared toward the beliefs of the individual, religion, or culture of the time, and so do not act as a means of actual Hygiene, but more as a means of manipulation. Manipulation is not a "bad thing" in itself, but there are many who feel that their Spiritual practices and rituals are quite noble and beneficial, when actually they are often entirely geared toward the manipulation of favors, alleviation of fears, or the fulfillment of duties. The reason the Physical Hygiene can be rather consistent in its benefit, while Spiritual Hygiene can be rather inconsistent in effect is because one has immediate impact, and the other does not. Furthermore, the entire concept of "spirituality" is misunderstood as a body in and of itself, or a realm, or a dimension, etc, when it is not. Therefore, the practices and rituals put in place to directly benefit one's "Spirituality" is often lost as if thrown into a black hole of relevance. "Spirituality," or the Spiritual Body, is a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, and those parts are the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. The Spiritual Body does not exist without those inclusions. So if one dismisses the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies for the sake of aiming for some sort of "Spiritual" ascension, acceptance, acceleration, advancement, etc, one is completely missing the point, and has not come to understand the nature of Spirituality. Spirituality is a concept much like that of Nature. Nature is something that cannot exist without all of the forms that make up what is understood as "Nature." To separate out the concept of Nature from its very nature would be absurd. And so it is that one's Spiritual practices and rituals are useless if they do not include or understand the necessity of inclusion of the hygiene for the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. Naturally, then, the aim for Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Hygiene automatically benefits "Spirit," or "Spirituality." This is what we mean by "Psychic" Hygiene: the inclusion of the less-tangible aspects that make up your more intimate bodies; those of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual. Our use of "psychic" may differ a bit from the general definition of the word, but we mean it in the sense of the inclusion of your psyche, or your consciousness, in relation to these Bodies. For instance: most of you know how to bathe your own bodies. This is a task that most of you do weekly, if not daily, in some form, with some of you doing so more thoroughly than others, but doing so, nonetheless. However, often or well you clean your body, we can say with some amount of confidence that most of you do not do so with a kind, thoughtful, loving hand in the process. A routine hand, yes. A thorough hand, yes. A skilled hand, yes. A dutiful hand, yes. And this cleans your Physical Body, but it does nothing for the psychic levels of that Body. By "psychic levels," we mean that there is little consciousness present or involved. All of our suggestions today will be rather simple. They should be rather easy to implement into your daily lives. They are not intended to be a distraction, but a support to your days. Our first suggestion, then, for the Physical Body is to BATHE YOURSELVES AS IF YOU CARE. It is that simple. This is not necessary every time you bathe yourself, but once out of every 4 times you may bathe yourself, include your capacity to CARE in the process. Bring some loving to your body; some appreciation, gratitude, affection. Be there for you on more than a dutiful or routine level. Truly be present in that body you are taking time to clean. However close you may be to somebody else, you will never be as close to any other body than your own. Ever. Bringing that simple shift in awareness to your bathing process is more meaningful to "spirit" and to you than any spiritual practice or ritual could ever be. The Emotional Body is the next-most tangible of all of you Bodies. This is not the case for every person, but for most. If you feel that your Intellectual Body is far more tangible than your Emotional Body, it is not a matter of fact, but a matter of emphasis that you think this is so. Technically, the Emotional Body is denser than the Intellectual Body, and then the Emotional springs from that. Because the Physical Body is so immediately tangible, and the "Spiritual" is of such an aspiration to so many, the Emotional and Intellectual Bodies are the most neglected and abused bodies on the planet. The hygiene of your Emotional Bodies can most often be helped through the use of SOUND. In particular, Tones, or music. Emotional hygiene could do well to take place at least once a month, but as often as you would like. There is a difference between escaping into music or sound, and harnessing it for hygiene. Much like there is a difference between going swimming, and taking a bath or shower. Exploring the tones associated with Chakras, either as vocal expressions or instrumental expressions, is helpful in putting into practice Emotional Hygiene. There is validity to the practice of vocalizing the "all-inclusive sound" of Om. When we say that the Emotional Body can benefit from SOUND, we mean all forms and media of sound, including speaking kind and comforting words to yourself, affirmations, singing spontaneously. The Emotional Body is where the experience of Time is processed, and music/sound is a processing of Time that helps to clean, heal, support, and care for the Emotional Body. For those who are Emotionally-Centered, it may be a regular event to submerge oneself into music or sound, because when one is using that Center as a means for navigating the entire life, it requires far more maintenance and healing, which is why Emotionally-Centered Personalities do tend to develop a far more intimate relationship to music than other Centerings. This is not to say that Moving or Intellectual Centering does not develop relationships to music and sound, but that it is a different relationship, and not one that is born of such necessity as those who are Emotionally Centered. We can explore those relationships in another session. So for the Emotional Bodies, a regular form of hygiene to bring to your every month, or more, is to listen to Chakra-based Toning, speaking kindly to yourself, singing to yourself, vocalizing tones that feel good, etc. And all with an awareness present. For the Intellectual Body, hygiene could do well to be in place as often as one bathes, if not more. The Hygiene of your Intellectual Body can most often be helped through the use of VISUALIZATIONS. There are two important levels of hygiene to consider in this case: One is that every fragment would do well to gift himself with a break from thinking, every day. This is not the same thing as being stupid. Every day, or at least for a few moments as one bathes or showers, the practice of visualizing "nothing" can truly bring some relief to the Intellect. By "nothing," we mean that the focus is on as much space as possible, an openness, such as floating, or flying, being in the sky, among clouds, etc. [Question] Doesn't that require intellectual processes to generate the visualization though? [MEntity] Of course it does. You cannot bathe your Physical Body without using your hands, either. The point is not to escape these Bodies, but to give them gifts, benefits, pleasure, freedom, support. The more one uses these bodies to benefit themselves, instead of being entirely weighted by the processes of living a life, the more those processes of living the life are met with brilliant energy, clarity, enthusiasm, and joy. In other words, your Bodies are not slaves to the lifetime. They are curious, sensitive, fragile, wondrous dimensions of you that are here to explore, not just to endure. The other level of hygiene for this body would come in the form of decording. This is something that can be practiced monthly, or even yearly. This is the practice of using your imagination and visualization to "see" your own back where energetic cords have attached themselves between you and those with whom you are not consciously or relevantly attached. Cording is the process of linking one's Chakras to another for the sake of bonding or binding. When bonding happens, it is usually a mutual experience and these cords are connected to the front of your body, chakras. When binding happens, it is not usually mutual, though allowed, and these cords are connected to the back of the body. All of these terms are not so literal, but they are accurate enough to the reality of those connections that we can use them here. Decording, then, is the use of the imagination to pull or wipe those cords off of your back. Of course, this is all symbolic, but it works when the visualization is applied. We will have to use another chat to elaborate upon the dynamics of Cording, but to begin this practice can often bring sudden freeing of energy and well-being, not only to the Intellect, but to the denser bodies, as well. It may also bring a surprise visit or contact from those who are binded to you in the back, because when those drop, the person who originated the bind senses this drop between you and may suddenly want to contact you, if he or she can. Another daily practice for Intellectual Hygiene would be to put at least one beautiful thing in your most inhabited space so that you can see it, and allow it to remind you to slow the mind, to take in the view, to allow room for your thoughts to come and go, rather than build up. As the Emotional Body processes Time, the Intellectual Body processes Space. As Music/sound is a means of processing Time, so is Visualization a means of processing Space. We must conclude here for today, but can continue this discussion in future exchanges, or in the forum thread where this transcript may be posted. We think that what we have shared today may be of help for bringing some personal sense of management over one's energy and health of his or her bodies, and to help bring a bit more "spirit" to one's Spiritual Body. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
  11. Hi all, I just shared a technique for protection and healing, that I use, in another forum. Upon finding this club I thought it appropriate to share hear. Very interested in hearing others techniques. I am a Reiki level 2 and have been introduced to an energy healing technique called "Pranic Healing" which I highly recommend for those on this path. My Technique: Starting with the Base Chakra I visualise it expanding and energising as I breath into it, just a 3 - 5 breaths required when you use the technique often, then work my way up through the Chakras visualising them adding to each other to expand the energy bubble around me. I then include the minor energy centres of my palms and knees and feet. I visualise this energy surrounding me then enclose it in the blanket of blue light that I wrap around and then seal with a light beam like a weld. I then repeat to myself 3 times that only light and love may enter with negativity and darkness cannot. I then breath into my safe zone, expending my energy field, pushing and negativity withing out of the blue shield. I do this technique in crowds of unknown energy around negative people and especially if I am around those who have colds or other communicable dis-eases. As and addition to this, if I have a cold or similar starting to rear it's ugly head, I visualise a fine net of light being pulled through my entire energy field, collecting negativity and darkness and when fully clear of me I mentally through it back to the universe and see it burst into sparks of colourful light,or burn in colourful flames. I keep doing this until there is nothing left to collect and expel. I get good results from this! I can do this with little more than then intent nowadays.
  12. Shazam

    Kundalini

This material was obtained by Connor in a private session in 2017. Question: Can you give insight on Kundalini awakenings and how to awaken such energies? MEntity: Kundalini "awakenings" are a process of directing or freeing the Sexual Center, or Higher Moving Center. This is the highest energy immediately accessible to the Personality and Body. It correlates to the second Chakra and is a Higher Energy intentionally set among the Lower Centers. This energy awakens when under extreme duress or extreme pleasure. When one seeks to direct or free this energy in ways that do not depend upon extremes, then it is only a matter of balancing the Lower Centers. When the Lower Centers are balanced, this creates the pathways, or opens the pathways for the Higher Moving energy to move. Balance among the Lower Centers simply means that all are used as they are needed, and the habits of the Trap are broken. Question: the Trap being certain anxieties? MEntity: For instance, if one is Emotionally Centered, Intellectual Part, it can become a habit to rely entirely upon the emotions and the intellect and to move away from the use of the body or moving energy. This moving away from the use of the body can be in literally falling into sedentary states, or more likely that it turns into anxiousness, restlessness, distraction, emphasis on stimulation over true pleasure, etc. So the Personality has a feeling, thinks about it and/or expresses it, generates more feeling, more thought, more feeling, more thought, etc. and no action, no moving forward, no direction. Or frenetic action, sporadic movement, outbursts, etc. So learning to include the body, action, and movement along with feelings, inspiration, thought, and expression is helpful for giving pathways to the Higher Moving Center/Sexual Energy or Kundalini. In addition to that balancing, it is important to free your ideas about what sex *should* be. Sex is not a performance, but an exploration.
  13. March 2, 2000 Troy Tolley, Channel Conscious Connection to Essence 3 of 3 Note: This series begins with Michael Speaks -- Conscious Connection to Essence (1 of 3) [Michael_Entity] Hello to all. We are here. One moment. In our sharing with you our various perspectives of what is and isn’t being conscious of Essence, we believe a practical examination of each Essence Role would be beneficial. In our examination we will share what we perceive are the Maya (or Great Lesson) of that particular role and a more ‘organic’ approach to determining what might be considered rejection of Essence or what might be considered acceptance of Essence. We will note here that the positive and negative poles of the Essence ARE NOT indications of being conscious or accepting of Essence. A fragment in the Negative Poles is just as potentially “in Essence” as a fragment in the positive poles, at least in terms of experiencing its life. What we have sought to exchange with you is what it means to reject Essence or accept Essence as part of your primary being. Those who reject Essence are in deep isolation and a myriad of other traumatic or deteriorating experiences, regardless of how together their life appears or how wonderful their work and relationships and successes are. Those who are accepting and conscious of Essence usually have the enthusiasm to ‘make the best of everything’, even in the midst of what ‘should’ be devastating. Poverty, drama, accidents, horror are NOT signs of disconnection from Essence, they are merely experiences. A positive pole role can still be at its apparent ‘best’ yet still be disconnected from Essence. A negative pole role can be as difficult and trying as expected, and be conscious. The keys are in the act of Decisions and CHOICES. In the moments of your darkest despair, if you can “look up” and recognize that this space is simply where you are at the moment, even if you seek no resolution beyond that realization, half of your battle is completed. When you say “yes, this is where I am right now, I know I could do something but I do not feel like it right now”, you have granted yourself an open door to Essence. Acknowledging your state of mind, your resistance, your struggles, etc. are in that very moment your decision and choice to allow or change, you become immediately centered and present, regardless of your choice in either direction. This will immediately and in that moment connect you consciously to Essence. This does not mean your mood or situation will magically remove itself from your life, but you have opened your world and option for greater probabilities by that single choice, a millionfold. Besides your initial acknowledgment that you may have dropped your connection to Essence, we will say that the most powerful and profound choice you can make next is to ASK FOR HELP. The body is not designed to sustain animation and life without connection to Essence for any extended period of time once sentience has moved in. We want to note at this point that there is no REAL disconnection from Essence; we merely use these terms for convenience, even the term ‘rejection’ is inaccurate in light of the truth, but these terms capture the experience and we will continue to use them with this understanding. We will begin now with each Essence, but first, we will pause for a few questions, if there are any, about what we have shared thus far. [nemo999] What are the most common states of mind? Pleasure, pain, depression, sadness, happiness, attention, boredom … are these states of mind or are they illusion? [Michael_Entity] This set of descriptions are only conveniences to describe whatever a person interprets as their reality in the moment. They are highly subjective and can refer to either illusions or what you have called ‘states of mind.’ They are all ‘real’ to a person experiencing. The definition of ‘illusion,’ or Maya as we prefer, is in the apparent indulgence in a ‘truth’ that is subjectively inappropriate for the fragment. There are some Maya that are shared collectively, some that are individual. Despite the fact that Personal Truth will render all of these experiences “real”, we will share a little of our perception. Depression from your list can be considered a collective ‘illusion,’ and one that is a deep indulgence in Maya, though very ‘real’ when inside of it. Depression is a resigned stance toward the life, an emotional suicide based on one or more of the Chief Features. This is not a judgment. When one is in Depression, we differentiate this from Grief. Depression is literally the consistent and insistent effort to reject the life. If Depression is being experienced, acknowledge that you are where you are in your experience, and ask for help. Depression is one of many Maya that creates a situation where intervention from outside forces is required. Pain from your list can be either Maya or “real”, but is always a symptom of resistance or friction, which we do not see as inherently good or bad, merely resistance to some Growth. Pleasure is always a symptom of higher awareness and connection to Essence. Sadness can be either, though if tears are involved, recognition of a truth on some level is occurring. If there are no tears, this is most likely a form of Depression. Boredom is always a symptom of Maya and is a literal self-lie to remove responsibility. When Boredom is indulged in, you are living in a space of time that was created from want of “having more time”, then when it arrives, you seek to fill it. This all happens because creation on the Physical Plane is denser and slower, therefore the space and time sought “shows up”, but sometimes out of synch with your faster moving mind. Making a note that Boredom is a sign of forgetting your original intentions can help make more of that time. It is not required, of course, that you continue with your original intentions, but release the judgments about EXPERIENCING the slowing of time and take a moment to stop. When we say this is a self-lie to remove responsibility, we mean this in terms of being able to respond, not in terms of discipline. [Azure362] What happens when one fragment is deriving pleasure from another fragment’s pain? Here is where I get confused. This encompasses all these levels, personal or collective, as in when society feels some sort of pleasure at putting some fragment to death, as in capitol punishment. So this would not be true connection to Essence then? So it is safe to say that some pleasures are of Maya? [Michael_Entity] That is difficult to reconcile within the confines of the Physical Plane. We do not expect you to reconcile that, nor do we think it can be. Sometimes events are not understandable by Personality. We will say, however, that True pleasure is rarely experienced at the expense of another, unless both Essences involved have a mutual agreement for something that is otherwise seen as horrific. We will define true pleasure as being that which retains the recognition of the choice of others. If the choice of other is interfered with, then this cannot be true pleasure, it is only stimulation. And, no, it is not correct to say some pleasures are of Maya. Pleasure that interferes with the life, path, or choice of another is stimulation, not true pleasure. [Azure362] And then it is true pleasure that connects to Essence? I think I am getting it. Sorry, lol, but I see some fragments getting pleasure out of stimulation as such ? [Michael_Entity] Consider the image of a person gratified by eating a chocolate bar versus that of one being gratified by stealing the chocolate from a child. You will most likely intuit the difference. It is not complex when examined and the differences between self-stimulation and true pleasure are glaring. Again, the difference is in the lack of interference of choice in another. Our system of Personality and Essence is comparatively quite simple and each part of the system is dynamically linked to other parts, leading to what many have called Michael Math. Each role, attitude, CF, center, etc. are all linked by their axis. For instance, the Ordinal Inspiration will have re-evaluation, reserve, stoic, emotional, self-deprecation, and lunar body types, along with the Server, and the attributes of the number one. Therefore, as we discuss each role tonight in its disconnection from Essence, you might also recognize in that disconnection a link to that role’s inherent Chief Feature. In this instance, though, we might call it “The Great Lesson”. This is not a term we prefer, but it is one our channel found appropriate and we do not disagree, though more creative ways of seeing this will surely come from our sharing with you. Therefore, each Essence will have its “Great Lesson” and this ‘lesson’ will always recur each lifetime in some form. There will be no lifetime that does not struggle with this ‘lesson’, however briefly. Regardless of the dynamics of personality and its chosen emphasis of challenge, the Essence IN ITSELF has its challenges, though it is seen from a very different perspective and eagerly played with. This results from Essence “forgetting” the inherent challenges of the physical plane while being Astral. The body has to regain consciousness each lifetime regardless of soul age and seeks to grow back into the soul age last reached in the previous life. We will also note here that each of these scenarios we might mention in regard to the Roles can be applied to each of you since you may relate it to your own CF that then relates to the Role we are describing. Each Role and CF relates to a Chakra, or Center, and this can also lead to connections. We suggest you only focus on your Role for now, figuring in the consideration as to when or whether you are conscious and accepting of Essence, regardless of these extrapolations. We will begin with the SERVER. For now, we will examine the basics. When a Server is conscious and connected to Essence, regardless of its struggles and fears in the life, its Great Lesson is in discovering that it can take care of other things, nurture them, help them, be tremendously effective in catering to the nuances of needs in another all the while being able to care for self. The Server connected to Essence and conscious of that connection chooses to take care of itself no matter what is happening in the life, knowing inherently that this is the only way to truly be successful in any endeavor. The Server who is not connected to Essence chooses not only to slack in its care of self, but loses its enthusiasm to seek to care for others. This Server will seek in its universe and emphasize in its universe any and all ways to prove that things are not loving, that there is discord and that their own lives are not making a difference. They are self-deprecation, manifest. This Server has its roots in only emphasizing its own and all others inadequacy, or lack of being. This can be overt or subtle, but it will show. Their keys to bringing back a conscious connection to Essence (besides the first vital two steps, recognizing choice for where you are, and then asking for help), is in doing anything physically stimulating. Running, jogging, going dancing, anything with dirt and the ground, and getting a massage. Anything that allows contact PHYSICALLY with what is considered the “outside world” that provides data without judgment. The SERVER more than any other Role can use the past as their world and choose to gauge everything within that context, therefore, it is successful to release the past and choose experiences that bring the Server more “presence.” Next we will comment on the ARTISAN. The Artisan who is conscious of and connected to Essence is one that has learned to allow happiness into the life. This may seem deceptively simple and universally applicable, but any true Artisan can tell you that it is one of their Great Lessons to learn to like receiving and indulging in the pleasures of this world. An Artisan who is connected and conscious with Essence has true joy and enthusiasm for the life, allowing whatever levels of prosperity and abundance are appropriate at that moment. They have admitted to themselves what they wanted, what they needed, and they are allowing themselves to have it, to create it. The Artisan that is disconnected or rejecting of Essence feels their needs are too great, that they will never get what they deserve or are not worth the life used on them. Artisans are clever in their disconnection from Essence because they have helped to construct a culture that supports it. It plays on other fragments, deriving from them false compassion and pity, but nothing of value to make the life seem “worth it.” The Artisan disconnected from Essence is self-destruction, manifest. They have determined that they are not worth what they want. The Artisan can endure for years and years in this state, far longer than any other role disconnected from Essence, because this state eventually requires others to reach out and care for them, even if they are not making changes, themselves. Eventually, the Great Lesson is learned and the life is transformed. At some point, and probably more dramatically than any other role, a shift in the life occurs. This brings the Artisan into a space that says YES to life, to what it wants, recognizes its needs and says they are worth pursing it for. Ways for the Artisan to connect to Essence in times of recognized disconnection are through any form of artistic expression, but most especially painting or sculpting, making a concerted effort to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. They can purchase things that feel fun are usually labeled “trivial”, interact with small animals, or dance privately to music. Next we will comment on the WARRIOR. The Warrior when connected and conscious with Essence finds itself in many a challenge against or within the life where there appear to be imbalances. A Warrior that is Conscious recognizes that their very nature requires them to live intentionally and with purpose of action. This means, regardless of its tediousness or turbulence, they are always out to conquer something. The Warrior connected to Essence finds itself in many situations of chaos and disorder as a means to exercise and emphasize what is and isn’t Power or Empowering. More than any other role they are more perpetually in crisis or challenge because this is truly where their “heart” lies. It may not be acceptable or as “easy” as other roles’ experiences or what the culture supports, but it is their world and it is vital. The symptoms of a Warrior connected to Essence can most likely be seen in gauging the strengths of their relationships. The Warrior disconnected or rejecting Essence feels that their life is one unrolling world of chaos and they determine they are just ‘lucky’ for what they have, relinquishing effort to make a path. More than any other role, even if arguably, the Warrior that is disconnected from Essence spends it life seeking approval and recognition, while consistently remaining in the shadows. The disconnected Warrior lays low, evades conflict, and depends on others heavily. The disconnected Warrior has a deep sense that at some point it needs to do or be something specific in order to be loved or recognized. Most of the time, this Warrior has no idea what that “something specific” is and will continue to close its circle of life down until it learns to make choices for itself, grasping that they are in control of their lives; this is their Great Lesson. The disconnected Warrior is Martyrdom manifest. This is another role that can regain connection to Essence by incorporating or balancing with heavy physical activity. Making contact with life in a physical manner that brings data into the body emphasizing security and control, such as Tai Chi or the Alexander Technique, a sport that requires coordination, or can all bring the Essence back into the picture. Asking to be held, or holding someone important can help, as well. We will address the SCHOLAR now. The Scholar that is connected to Essence and conscious has learned its Great Lesson, which revolves around the reality of shared love. This Scholar has realized with a great amount of profundity that they will not love another until they have sought to love themselves. As we have said, there are many of these Role symptoms you all may find applicable, but for each Role, you will see they are a deeper lesson when specifically considered. All other Roles have an “easier” time at loving and being loved than the Scholar does. The Scholar who is connected to Essence has realized they are whole and complete, that they like themselves and have decided to trust and open their hearts to their life. They recognize that ALL aspects of life are capable of being loved, even themselves and all the hard times passed through. When the Scholar is disconnected or rejecting of Essence, they do their best to ignore their lives, to resist the examination that not everything is fine. This Scholar refuses to examine their vulnerabilities and have not dealt with their shadow feelings, resulting in acts of dominance or power struggles. They have never experienced intimacy of any depth due to these things. They become adept at arguing their points, ignoring the pains of their past, destroying or deteriorating any relationship or person whom touches too closely too personal areas of pain and sensation. They are Stubbornness manifest. They, more than any other Role, truly fear what is called love. The disconnected Scholar can still bring in a definite resource of love into their lives, but this is usually sought only out of need for refuge, a place to securely hold up the walls around their own hearts. The Scholar disconnected from Essence can be one of the most painful and emotionally tormenting of all exchanges for someone trying to love them. Some suggestions for bringing more of Essence in might be to talk to children about their perspective on life, actually play with children or play on a child’s playground. Seeking laughter of any kind brings Essence immediately back in for a Scholar. Seeking the experience of the aroma and visuals of botanical gardens or observing the ocean can help, or having flowers within visual and olfactory range. We will address the SAGE now. The Sage in connection to Essence is the most obvious and closest to what the positive pole describes. They are TALKING. The Sage connected to Essence, regardless of what they are communicating, is at least communicating. They seek to express any and all feelings and thoughts as a means for communication. When they are angry, you know it, when they are sad, you know it, when they are happy, you know it; they will gladly tell you and tell everyone else. The Sage who is disconnected from Essence becomes silent. Of all the roles, the Sage is the most tender and fragile of all roles. We do not imply this negatively. This is simply because they are the “children” of our universe, and no physical age or soul age will ever change this. It is their “job”. As this Role pertains to communication, children, and the Intellectual Center or fifth (Throat) Chakra, you can see the fragility in a child who has been driven or shunned into silence, when the child hangs its head to cover the vulnerable communication center. This can be reflected in all ages of a Sage, as well. When a Sage has gone silent they are rejecting Essence, losing consciousness. In fact, forms of silence can range through all forms of suppression. This means this Role more than most is susceptible to addictions and substance abuses, anything to redirect the energies from having to address what wants to be said. They are Greed manifest, as they fixate on something they feel they do not have enough of, and remain struggling to attain this at the expense of life and self. Their Great Lesson is in realizing their expression and feelings are important, that what they have to say about what they are experiencing is important to someone, even if this starts out being just themselves. Ways for the Sage to regain consciousness and connection are through writing letters, reading personal journal entries to someone who will listen, sharing a personal story or poetry, trusting what you feel about a person when you first meet them, and singing out loud. We will address the PRIEST now. The Priest who has a connection to Essence realizes that life is full of many truths and each experience has its own truth. More than any other role, this role when connected to Essence has a deep and profound trust in life, knowing with true perception how to pass through the next moments and lead others through those confusions in life as well. Life is intuitively navigated. When disconnected, this Essence lives in a world of concepts and ideas, rational thinking and over-analysis. This would normally seem harmless, but the Priest disconnected from Essence enforces these rationales, ideas, and over-analysis to the point of destroying the life or misleading others as a means for false validation of beliefs. They lose their ability to adapt to the nuances of life and seek only to remain in a predefined, structured, and thought out picture of life. This removes their ability to intuit and trust in life, but creates severe judgment and enforcement of fear. This Role more than any other Role can make a lie become a profound but false truth about themselves, life, or others. They are Arrogance manifest. To help bring the Priest back into connection, we suggest to this Role more than any other to literally make time to communicate to what you consider to be your higher self, every day. We also suggest purchasing or making a set of cards with inspirational affirmations or a book of quotes that can be a “message” or “thought for the day”, or whenever in need, to help lend insight from someplace beyond analysis. And finally the KING, we will comment on. The King who has a connection to Essence is keenly aware of the fact of all possibilities, a sense of connection to all of its life. The King connected to Essence does not just live the life, it IS the life as well. This King recognizes that it is the source of all of its life, through choice, creation, and from even higher. This King sees no separation based on time or space, but only the beautiful unfolding of a life as perfect, no matter what. They do not judge the life, themselves, or others for their position in it, but instead recognizes itself in everything around it. This King has dealt with what might be called its “dark side” and now sees through that state in others, recognizing all the illusions. Limitation is never seen as an obstacle, but an important aspect of life to help direct growth. A King who has rejected Essence becomes highly separated from its life, separated within itself, and from others. Its Great Lesson is in acknowledging they are a PART of everything and everyone, not APART. This King is caught in circles of self-gratification and simple distraction for stimulation. They feel they alone are completely responsible for all achievements in life and resist any help in any form, in fact, sometimes violently. This King rejects people outright due to imperfections reflected from self and creates enormous amounts of Space and Time between those who are their most powerful support. They are Impatience manifest. This King who is rejecting of Essence will forever remain in a circle of development since they allow no other influences or support into their lives. Ways for a King to bring back a sense of connection to Essence is through visiting spiritual temples for moments of quiet and reflection, watching or reading information shared by spiritual leaders they resonate with. They can make changes in the life that reflects a commitment to the acknowledgement of the life force in all others, such as through vegetarianism or volunteer work. More than any other Role, we would have to doubly emphasize that this Role could benefit from ASKING FOR HELP. We will conclude here. Since this session ran so long, we will not be able to respond to questions in this forum, but we invite your questions through your list or discussion forum at Otterly’s [aka Troy Tolley] site. Good Night.
  14. Michael Speaks 080909 Open Floor [QUESTION] Are there 7 or MORE different types of kingdoms operating on earth -- ie; humanoids, elementals, faeries, angels, etc., and, blendings of them & if so, is this connected to DNA; or what are the 7 kingdoms on earth at this time; like minerals/plants ? etc., it would be nice to know more about this earth, we have all chosen to share together; without plants - we can't breathe, without minerals-we do NOT have good health - so; we must all be interlinked, in some way. [Michael Entity] What we describe as "Kingdoms" are the levels of development of chakras, centering, and sentience within various groups of lifeforms within a planetary system. There are, indeed, 7 Kingdoms. The association of "elementals, faeries, angels, etc." are seen a bit differently from our perspective, but there is some validity within these more mythical interpretations. Ocean and Mineral Kingdom; Vegetation Kingdom; Insect Kingdom; Cold-Blooded Kingdom; Bird Kingdom; Lower Mammal Kingdom; Higher Mammal Kingdom. These are the 7 Kingdoms of Earth's Physical Plane in terms of sentient development and exploration. For each Kingdom there are a multitude of Energy Rings, Cadres, or Entities working within those Kingdoms as a form of support, creativity, and direction for that kingdom. All Sentient Humans have explored each of these Kingdoms before incarnating into the Human cycle of lives. In earlier stages of a planet's hosting Sentience, the Energy Rings, Cadres, and Entities managing these Kingdoms are far more obvious, especially when Sentience is living closely with any one of those Kingdoms. These Energy Rings, Cadres, and Entities managing the Kingdoms are not taking form, but exploring or directing the development of that Kingdom, and when sensed by Humans, are often interpreted into mythological forms. So while we would not say that there is a literal line of faeries or elves or elementals, we would say that these interpretations are not wholly inaccurate to how the non-physical energies work within a Kingdom. Human imagination fills in the more elaborate, magical parts to account for the lack of practical understanding. However, we would say that the imaginative stories serve a practicality in itself, in that it hands down a personification of these energies so that Humans can work with those energies in a way that "makes sense" to them. As a planet's dominant Sentience matures, and the influx of new Sentience slows or stops, so does this network of forces that nurture your planet's kingdoms. At some point in every Sentient species' development, these forces stop taking care of the planet, and the dominant species must then do the work of caring for the planet. It is not unlike the way your own bodies are cared for by forces greater than your own until you reach a certain age, whereupon you must then take care of yourselves. To that point, we say that the realms of faeries, elves, elementals, angels, etc., (however you interpret these forces) are waning, and the shift of responsibility is upon your species now to pick up that line of care and nurturing for the planet and its Kingdoms. [QUESTION] What are the 7 levels of the mind? [Michael Entity] If we define "mind" as that realm of cohesion among all bodies (emotion, intellect, moving, and the higher counterparts), we would could then describe these 7 Levels as: Tangibility; Symbolism; Comprehension; Transition; Telepathic; Intuitive; Wholeness. These 7 Levels could be described many ways, but these are the words we can get through this channel at this time. We will elaborate a bit on each, as well. Tangibility might be the level of Mind that brings cohesion through what can be touched and is tangible. Symbolism might be the level of Mind that brings cohesion through interpretation of symbols as represented in events, patterns, and behaviors. Dreams might be included here. Comprehension might be the level of Mind that grasps the concept of probabilities and the true impact of Choice. Transition might be the level of Mind that that brings cohesion through grasping the patterns of the past and how this contributes to the present. The level of Mind that can change directions and pivot based on what has been learned to date. Telepathic levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought through the recognition and application of the 3 levels of Truth (personal, global, universal) as a means of connecting to other Minds. Intuitive levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought through the transcendence of logic and reason, to the direct perception of the larger contexts of any situation, event, or people. Wholeness levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought by the capacity to absorb, adapt, and embrace any variations on reality, experiences, and directions brought about by the self, others, or the free-unfolding of life. [QUESTIONS] Is Tangibility also what one might term "creating reality"? [Michael Entity] We would agree, though this phrase could be said of any level of Mind described above. Specific to Tangibility, it might be said that Tangibility would "create reality" through the limitations of what one can DO with what one HAS. To put that another way, it could be said that Tangibility is the level that says, "I can create with this hammer because I have a hammer" whereas another level of Mind, such as that of Comprehension, might say, "I can create with this hammer, but I can also get a saw and drill and materials so that I can create even more." The average fragment extant is now in Transition levels of Mind. Our average Student is in the Telepathic levels of Mind. [QUESTION] Hello Michael. Can you talk about the difference between Faith vs. Trust, particularly in regards to Life or "The Universe"? Michael says blind Faith is a negative pole thing, but I have trouble seeing how Trust in something as intangible as "The Universe" is not the same thing as Faith. Please elaborate? [Michael Entity] We see the difference between Faith and Trust as vast. Faith inherently asks of you not to question, and further to turn a blind eye to any discrepancies between what you expected, intended, or wanted vs what you experience. Trust, however, is based in experience that has already been gained, and allows room for questions and redirection from the less-desirable. This is not to say that people will use these words in the same way that we define them; in fact, many use these words interchangeably, with Trust being the more "new age" replacement for Faith. There will always be steps forward into the unknown that require Faith or Trust, depending on your preference. However, Faith would be a free-fall jump into the unknown, whereas Trust would allow for you to use tools that are familiar to you, and allows for a discerning eye along the way. In short, Faith is resignation; Trust is participation. [QUESTION] Yes, I suppose my question has much to do with how to "Trust" the unknown. [Michael Entity] If you are moving into "the unknown," then the Trust that one can pull up would come from experiences that are relevant to the current step into this unknown. For instance: The unknown may be lying ahead, or around you, but it is almost certainly the case that you have stepped into the unknown in your past, as well. Trust, then, could come from the fact that you survived the unknown before, so it is possible that you can do that again. Trust could come from the fact that despite your steps into the unknown, you know of resources for support and guidance that can help you along the way. Trust does not ask you to hope for the best; it allows you to help create the best, as best you can, if you choose to do so. Keep in mind that Surrender is also a form of Trust, which is the recognition of forces larger than your capacity to control, but you know you can do your best to navigate within those forces. For instance, you may not be able to stop a hurricane, but you can Trust that you can do what you can do to protect yourself in that context. [QUESTION] This may be a long shot but I thought worth it if Michael can comment on it, otherwise, you can move on to the next question: I would be interested in Michael's thoughts on something known as the webbot project run by Cliff High at www.halfpasthuman.com. This project appears to have the capability of taking a sampling of the global consciousness and predicting future events. Is there something analogous to a bow shock wave which travels forward and backward in time as a result of major future events that can be picked up on by our global consciousness in the present which permits us to glimpse these future events before they happen? If so, is this due to an awakening in our consciousness as our Earth passes through the galactic plane and its exposure to higher energies? [Michael Entity] As consciousness grows, so does the capacity for recognizing patterns. As the capacity for recognizing patterns grows, so does the capacity for anticipating patterns. As the capacity for anticipating patterns grows, so does the capacity for defining patterns. As the capacity for defining patterns grows, so does the capacity for altering patterns. As the capacity for altering patterns grows, so does the lack of necessity for recognizing, anticipating, defining, and altering. With that in mind, we would say that the theory is fairly sound, as you describe it, though we would not attribute it to any effect from a "galactic plane" or "exposure to higher energies." It is simply a matter of evolved learning and observational capabilities. Your Species no longer throws rocks at the moon during an eclipse, or spears at thunder, not because of some cosmic shift, but simply because eventually someone realized it was silly to do so. By extension, the patterns that are in effect that can be observed in collective consciousness are real, and while the capacity for recognizing, anticipating, defining, and altering these patterns are at various points of development among you, Humans are well on their way to predictive capabilities that would be on par with weather reports. They would need adjustments and updates as each moment/day passes, but could be fairly accurate to a similar degree that weather reports are accurate. Once the patterns of consciousness are found to be legitimately and relevantly connected to patterns of weather, Humans would reach a new paradigm of awareness about the future, past, and state of collective consciousness. [QUESTION] In MFM, it was mentioned that Carl Jung was one of the “mavericks” of psychology in that he incorporated “mysticism” into psychology, which so few westerners given credence too. Of course there are many schools of psychological thought regarding counseling individuals. Psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral theory, humanistic/existential theories are but a few examples. Given that psychology, at least in the west, is still so concerned with “measurable” scientific facts, how can one really tap into the ‘spiritual’ while still being “accepted” by the scientific community? Of course, assuming this is possible, or even desirable for that matter. I know of the work of Viktor Frankl, Ernesto Spinelli and the aforementioned Carl Jung; but it seems they are still largely disrespected by the psychological community. Can Michael provide insight into this topic? For example: who are the “psychological mavericks” of the 21st century who are (or may be in the near future) on the cusp of making real progress on the process of counseling the WHOLE person, spirit included, rather than merely some fragments (no pun intended) of the personality that most of the “scientific” theories like psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral therapy seem to emphasize? I realize this is several questions in one, so it should be noted that I’m not looking for specific answers to each part as much as I am looking for concepts or psychologists to investigate regarding spiritual counseling or what is also called existential or phenomenological psychology, as I feel that counseling one while incorporating the spiritual can potentially do more lasting good than a lot of what passes as psychological intervention currently. Of course this is all speculation on my part, but was curious about Michael's input nonetheless. Sorry for the lengthy question; tis the curse of my scholary-ness I think. [Michael Entity] In terms of practice, there are many who incorporate "spirituality" into whatever method of Psychological Counseling they use, as long as that spirituality is translated into useful terms for the one being counseled. Others incorporate spirituality in a way that is simply an undercurrent within the terminology of the psychological method. For most who truly wish to help another, it is nearly impossible to avoid some form of spirituality, though it is useful to keep this to a minimum until the more tangible elements of the psyche have been explored. Though this channel is limited in terms of psychological theories and descriptions, we can say that Gestalt Psychology is close to "spiritual" within the limitations of the psychological field. We will add that as the Mature paradigm settles in, so would the expansion of concepts within the realm of Psychology. For now, if one were looking for counseling, we would suggest being less concerned with the method, and more concern with your resonance to the individual counselor. We would also add that this division of spirituality from counseling goes both ways, so to speak, in that if one were to go to a proclaimed "spiritual counselor," the more tangible elements of the psyche might be ignored just as smugly as the less-tangible are ignored in Psychology. [COMMENT] definitely true, and there is certainly plenty of literature about the more tangible aspects. [Michael Entity] Those we might consider to be "mavericks" are publicly unknown at this time, but if all moves forward as intended, would most likely rise to awareness within the next 20 years or so. We can also suggest looking back at our 7 Levels of Mind. You would see quite clearly where any psychological theory or method might fall, and this would give you a fair gauge of the higher levels of counseling or theories that might be available. The "mavericks" we see who may move psychology forward to include higher levels of Mind, if you will, would be those who move the field to embrace the Telepathic levels. Currently, it appears to us that most theories and practices remain at Transition levels and below, which do work for most. Good Day to each of you. Goodbye.
  15. OMW - Jun 21, 2014 - You and Your Centers Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to discuss each of the Centers/Chakras, not only in terms of their nature, but in fairly personal terms of where and how you are with the health, function, habits, blocks, and balance of your own. Instinctive Center - Regulates Choice What we will do is speak a bit about the Instinctive Center, then address that Center for each of you who are present, then the Lower Centers, then the Higher Centers. We know that time is limited and that we may not cover all of them, but we will attempt to do so. To help deliver this in as succinct a manner as possible, we will cover these elements of each Center: Basic Function, Most Obvious State of Positive Health, Most Obvious State of Negative Health, Most Direct Means of Healing, and then your assessment. The reasons that the "most obvious" states of health can be useful is because these states can help one to sense fairly easily which direction one is leaning, even if nowhere near the extreme. By "health" here we will mean this in terms of the Center, not necessarily in terms of symptoms in the body, which can often be symptoms of combinations of issues and not specific to a Center. For the most part, the more obvious health of your Centers can be seen in your behaviors long before your bodies. First, we will say that Center and Chakra are often used interchangeably because they are the same systems. However, in our teaching, "Center" is a reference to one's habitual "center of gravity," which is how one navigates the life. It is the funnel through which all experiences tend to first be processed by the Personality. Chakras, on the other hand, are more a teaching of the complex system of circuitry that runs as part of the various bodies, including how that links to Essence. In our teaching, "Center" extends to include all of those that are not your habitual "center of gravity" because each Center still has its use of all of the other Centers, its "Parts." So it is fair and safe to use these systems of understanding interchangeably, but there is a difference. Though none of you here are Centered in the Instinctive, your Instinctive Centers are as active as your Primary Center. No body or Personality can function without the Instinctive Center. It is from the Instinctive Center that the Personality arises. This is the only Center that is ever carried forward from each life. All others "die" with the bodies. Think of this as the "floppy disc," to use a rather outdated technological term that is carried from one life to another. It can also be "copied" easily among Concurrents, and then recombined in Reviews. No matter what your Primary Centering, the Instinctive Center will be your Center that regulates your capacity to CHOOSE. So in its simplest terms for this particular exchange on the topic, we will say that its Basic Function is the means by which the Personality will Regulate Choice. When the Instinctive Center is in its Positive Health, it shows up as owning the responsibility, consciousness, and capacity for choice. This means that the individual understands that, however restrictive the contexts, there will always be levels of choice with which one can work. One can be held captive in a box and still know that there is the capacity for choice for one or more bodies. The Physical Body, in that case, may have been stripped of choice, but the intellectual and Emotional bodies may still utilize Choice. This is an extreme, and disturbing, scenario to be used as an example, but we only do so to illustrate that some of your most restrictive scenarios in your life are nowhere near as restrictive as they could be. And you still have choice. The healthy Instinctive Center knows this. This does not mean you like your choices, or your range of choices, and that you may wish to work on expanding your range of choices, but there is, at no point, a sense that one no longer has a choice. The negative health of an Instinctive Center is when one begins to relinquish the responsibility of choice, and default only to reaction (rather than response). This Instinctive Center functions only as a means of navigating away from perceived or real threats. The life is spent only assessing threats. Possibilities become elusive and lose priority. This is sometimes necessary, so we do not mean "negative health" in terms of "bad," but more in the sense that the capacity for conscious choices has been reduced or honed toward only survival. Depending upon your Primary Centering, this can take the form of Emotional Survival, Intellectual Survival, or Material Survival. You will know if your Instinctive Center is leaning toward the Negative Health if you perceive your Emotional realm, Intellectual (expressive/social) realm, or Material Realm to have been reduced to a point of dependency, defense, or desperation. The most direct means of healing the Instinctive Center when in the Negative State of Health, or when damaged or "blocked" in any way, is to ask for help. Even if one were locked in a box, this is true. And most already know this, regardless of Soul Age, and "instinctively" call out for help, even to unknown or invisible forces when having fallen into Negative Health. We can safely say that each of you here lean toward your Negative end of Health for this Center. This is not a static state, but probably relative to your Primary Centering. [ViP1] i'd estimate i'm at the negative end at least 60 or 70 percent of the time [Janet] I’m very surprised. I would have said I lean toward the positive end [ClaireC] I know I fluctuate a lot. [ViP1] these days, at least, I think I've had times in the not too distant past that may have been closer to the opposite [GeraldineB] I'm somewhat surprised, too as while I have medical issues that are ongoing, I am seeking help for them [Ingun] I'm not surprised, I think most people lean more toward struggling in some way with survival issues, but fluctuating a lot. [ClaireC] Defense and desperation ring a bell. :) MEntity: Janet, we are not speaking in static terms, nor in assessment of more recent times, but in broader terms. However, it should be noted that even as each of you are far more conscious and in Positive Health of the Instinctive Center than most, you would not grow if not for the challenges that the Negative bring. [Ingun] Yes, that makes sense. [Janet] I agree that makes sense. [ViP1] what are those broader terms, Michael? [Maureen] I know I have had anxiety for, oh, about 6 million years or so. It's a hard habit to break. MEntity: It is not a report card, but a fact of incarnation. We could have posed the question as a "test" of your own understanding of this, but we do not think that the Instinctive Center is covered enough for that to be a fair question. [Janet] We incarnate in order to learn to choose. Once we have mastered that, we no longer need the experience. MEntity: It is natural for each of you to dip into the Negative on a regular basis, though some will tend to do so in more extreme ways than others. What may be new to you is the context in which this is most often played out, and this would TEND to be through what you identify as your Primary Centering. [GeraldineB] oops -- I slipped up again and used a standard definition for negative pole, not the Michael one MEntity: Even if someone struggles financially, but is Emotionally-Centered, it is in terms of Inspiration, self-esteem, meaning, etc. that this struggle plays out. Yes, there will still be the material, of course, but this person may have a much more difficult time separating his status from his sense of value. So when each of you sense your move into Negative Health of your Instinctive Center, note that, first, there is likely still a great range of choice, even if not what you would wish for it to be, and that you can make the effort to respond, rather than react, as a means of navigating a scenario, and finally, that you can ask for help. You may not get it, or you may have to ask more than you would like, but remembering that you can ask, that you have a right to ask, and that you may need to ask, is healthy. By "asking for help" here we do not mean coaxing someone else to do the work that you can do. Though we described each of you as leaning toward the Negative Health, we did so to point out its necessity to do so as a part of your living a life. Now we ask that each of you consider your own assessment. Share what you think is your likely percentage of Positive Health vs Negative Health as you see your life right now. [ViP1] for me, same as mentioned earlier - 60 to 70 percent in the reaction/survival in response to "threats" mode, which I understand now as Negative end of health of the instinctive center [GeraldineB] I would say that I'm reasonably healthy both mentally and emotionally, am in a state of wellbeing -- maybe 80% -- but, physical, am declining, so would put that at 50% or less even though I am seeking help [ViP1] by the way, that "right to ask for help" - is that one of the 7 basic Rights, Michael? [ClaireC] I could definitely ask for help a lot more, from my guides and Essence I suppose. [ClaireC] Positive 75% Negative 25%. [Maureen] I would say I may be at 80% Negative Health but I'm finding it hard to put a number to it. [Janet] It is hard for me to ask for help but I think I do it more often than I used to do. I’ve been working to avoid being reactionary. I am generally conscious of my right to choose. I can’t give a percentage for right now. I will have to give it thought. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but between Pos 40 - Neg 60 [GeraldineB] I still am locked into a belief system of "permanent conditions," rather than one that could be changed by other beliefs and/or Essence [ClaireC] I think our physical health affects our emotional health and outlook. MEntity: Visaish, yes. The "right to ask for help" is a subset of the most basic Right to Be Real, to Exist. No one exists in a vacuum. [ViP1] great, thank you (as I saw from other material you shared through Troy, that is indeed the Right that is related to the Instinctive Center.) [Ingun] I would guess I sometimes can be in more than 60% Neg Health also, and also in more than 40% Pos Health [Ingun] I'm also working on asking more for help. [Maureen] I have a hard time asking for help. Half the time I wouldn't even know what to ask for. It's more feelings. MEntity: We would wish to add that "asking for help" includes asking this of yourself. For some, this does not occur to them. There is a complete sense of paralysis, fear, defense, distance, etc. They can even use their conscious choice to refuse to choose. [ClaireC] Our interactions with Michael are a way of asking and receiving help. [ViP1] agreed, Claire MEntity: Claire, we agree. [Maureen] I agree too Claire. MEntity: We would point out that our exchanges with you, in that regard, are not one-way. You help us. Our invitation to our teaching is a request for your help. We cannot evolve without you. [ViP1] oh wow, that really touches me for some reason... [ViP1] but I'm glad to help [ClaireC] That is touching, ViP. MEntity: Existence is never a vacuum. Not even in the High Planes. [ViP1] "Vacuum" and "aloneness" are different things, in the way you use those terms, right Michael? [Maureen] I do ask Essence and my Guides for help and Michael, of course. It's just harder to ask for what I need from a living, breathing person. [Maureen] maybe it's a Priest thing. [ClaireC] But you're really good at offering and giving help, Maureen. MEntity: Correct. Aloneness is recognition of one's existence as singular representative of wholeness, while being a part of a greater wholeness. Vacuum is an emphasis on a false sense of distance between the self and other. Maureen, eventually, it is understood that help is effective and accessible from all realms of relevance. [Maureen] understanding it and asking for it are two different things -- aren't they? MEntity: It is often useless to ask "God" or guides to help one with material concerns, for instance, and much more effective to ask for help from those within the relevant realm. "God" and guides can help one with the less-dense dimensions. We agree, Maureen. [ViP1] you agree that this is a difficulty that Priests especially have, Michael? MEntity: That is the case with any learning. The gap between learning and application. [ViP1] oh sorry, never mind MEntity: It is not unique to Priests. [ViP1] that's what I thought, I misunderstood which of Maureen's comments you were responding to - please ignore, sorry MEntity: We understand. To continue with the Centers: [ViP1] by the way Michael, what do you think of our assessments of ourselves in terms of negative vs positive percentages for the Instinctive centers? MEntity: We think they are fair, even if leaning a bit on the high side for Negative Health. We think that each of you are closer to the middle than that. [ViP1] ok, thank you! MEntity: The assessments we see are when you are at your "worst." To clarify: the assessments each of you offered are more accurate to when you are at your "worst." [Maureen] When I am bad -- I am really bad. :) [ClaireC] :) [Ingun] How will it be played out if an Intellectually-centered person struggles financially? MEntity: This might tend to show up more in terms of how this represents the individual, how others might see that individual, and/or how this person struggles to express himself or herself, to give presence and form to the self in the world. It is a struggle with havingness and self-worth. Which is different from self-esteem, by the way. Self-esteem is how one feels about the self, while self-worth is about how one thinks about the self. Self-esteem is the use of relationships as reflections of self. Self-worth is the use of things as expressions of self. [Ingun] Thanks. Please continue with the centers/chakras ... Moving Center - Linked to Goal MEntity: MOVING CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your movements, directions, and paths. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates WHAT WORKS and WHAT DOES NOT WORK. This is everyone's means of creating or clearing his or her path through life. It is directly linked to the Goal. No matter what your Goal, in terms of Axis, it is your ACTIONS that create or clear your path to fulfilling it. One cannot fulfill their Goal in any lifetime without ACTION. In Positive Health, this shows up as an evolving capacity for LEARNING. Though learning happens among all Centers, there must be application and implementation for true learning while in a body. Regardless of one's Primary Centering, this Center is where one actually learns, at least in terms of the lifetime. Not necessarily how one learns math or how to raise a plant. Those who are Moving Centered will tend to have greater emphasis on the Goal as their priority for the life. When the Moving Center is in Negative Health, it often shows up for the older soul as AGITATION. One of the most direct means of healing this Center is to apply what one has learned. It is that simple. Keep in mind that this prompt for application of learning can come in the form of impulses, a quiet sense of knowing what one "should" do, and often as your means of handling pain. On the scale between AGITATION and APPLICATION/LEARNING, where do each of you feel you might fall in terms of learning? You need not use a number, just a sense of direction. [ViP1] I think I lean more toward agitation, but not too far off the "50/50" mark [Janet] I have been studying and have received many tips from you Michael that would aid in my goal of (self-)Dominance. But the tips are hard to apply so I clearly haven’t learned them. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Maureen] I have one foot in agitation and one foot in application -- on average I'm uncomfortable. [ClaireC] Confusion at times, some Agitation. [ViP1] I think I tend to react to agitation with freneticism and/or tendencies to addictive behaviors as a distraction from the agitation, but I do believe I'm getting better at applying what I am learning [ClaireC] I work on Application constantly. MEntity: The reason there is a Goal is because it will require the use of the Moving Center in some way, even if one is not Moving Centered. When looking at how you are Agitated, look to your Goal. In most cases, it is directly relevant. [Maureen] That makes sense. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but 45-55 [Janet] Oh that’s good advice. MEntity: It would indicate that you may not be applying all that you have learned. [GeraldineB] I could be self-deluded, but I don't feel all that much agitation with my Goal -- I've gotten quite patient with myself MEntity: Agitation tends not to come unless there is Learning that is not being applied. Agitation is a kind of short-circuiting that indicates the gap between action and experience/knowledge. [GeraldineB] I'm in such a constant state of learning, it's like all of it just keeps rolling over and into itself [ViP1] I like that description of Agitation [ClaireC] Me too. [Maureen] Me too [ViP1] :-) [Ingun] I know I'm not applying everything I have learned MEntity: For example, if you you find yourself in a pattern of Agitation with certain "kinds of people," or a circumstance, or relationship, you may not be applying the experiences and knowledge that has come from previous fulfillment of the Goal. [Janet] That definitely happens to me. I’m doing better though. MEntity: Each of you continue to do better. If not, you would not be here. [ClaireC] I would imagine that one's Frequency of processing would help here. MEntity: It is relevant, but one end of the range is not better than another. Not allowing oneself to process at one's natural Frequency can be troublesome, though. [ViP1] you said that when not manifesting Essence, one tends to process closer to the default Frequency of their Role, rather than the Frequency of their Spark/Essence, right Michael? [GeraldineB] I'm not familiar with that idea -- does each role have a default frequency? [ViP1] it appears so, it was in a question that I asked in a Michael Speaks [ViP1] or a default range of frequencies [ViP1] or an Ask Michael, I can't remember which MEntity: In the same way that Bodies are 100% Male Energy when of the male gender or 100% Female Energy when of the female gender (in most cases), so are Roles locked into a range of frequency. This range of frequency is not the same as that of Essence, so Essence will trump that frequency, in the same way that it does in the Body's Energy Ratio. This is how one can find a low Frequency Priest and a high Frequency Priest, even if the default range of frequency for the Priest Role is high. And how one can find a high "female energy" man and a high "male energy" female. When one neglects the care of the body, Energy Ratio starts to move toward the default. When one rejects Essence, the default range of frequency for processing in the Personality is that of the Role. [GeraldineB] Do we have a list of the defaults for each Role? [ViP1] ok, so that is the case when rejecting essence, rather than NOT Manifesting essence then (rejecting Essence is not the same as not Manifesting Essence) [ViP1] Not through Troy, G [ViP1] not that I know of at least [ViP1] sorry if I'm derailing the topic of the session by now though... please continue with the Centers if we can take up Frequency further in a different exchange :-) Emotional Center - Linked to Mode MEntity: The EMOTIONAL CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your intimacy, empathy, and sensitivity. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that is how one navigates between MEANINGFUL and MEANINGLESS. This is everyone's way of infusing or extracting meaning from his or her path/experiences in life. It is directly linked to the MODE. No matter what your Mode, in terms of Axis, it is your EMOTIONS that create or destroy your sense of meaning from your experiences. One cannot fulfill any range of significance in intimacy, sensitivity, without having infused or extracted Meaning. One cannot implement the Mode in any healthy way without evolving one's range of INSPIRATION. The more one limits his or her sense of Inspiration, the less-likely one can relate to others, to see himself or herself in others, and more importantly, less-likely to recognize others in himself or herself. By "others," we speak of any creature, sentient or non-sentient. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as showing up as GIVING/GENEROUS. In Negative Health, it can show up as RESENTFUL. The means by which the Mode is fulfilled at its best is when approached from this state of Giving/Generosity. The trick here is that no lifetime can be experienced without some experience in giving, but when one begins to keep score, to stand in righteousness, to give when not fully capable of giving, then Resentment begins to step in. So the evolution of Giving is a matter of one's evolution of Meaning. As each of you look at your Emotional Center, how often do you feel Resentment? How often do you feel that you Give in meaningful ways? How honest are you in your stating Yes? No? [Janet] ‘Resentful’ feels strong but I recognize it at times. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Janet] I think we are hoping to pursue intellectual center to get a balanced transcript. [GeraldineB] Yes, I agree with Janet MEntity: In that case, we will close on the Emotional Center by stating that the state of your relationships is a fair means of assessing where you are in terms of Health in the Emotional Center. Intellectual Center - Linked to Attitude The INTELLECTUAL CENTER, then, has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your impact, effect, and presence on your path in this life. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates between HONESTY/Innocence and DECEIT/Jaded. This is everyone's way of testing out behaviors, traits, and negotiation in terms of their effects, impact, and presence in form. It is directly linked to the ATTITUDE. No matter what your Attitude, in terms of Axis, it is your INTELLECTUAL CENTER that runs the core of your basic philosophy about this life. One cannot test out one's philosophy without experimenting in the range between Honesty and Deceit, both in terms of others and the self. The Attitude cannot function in any healthy way without this Center moving more and more toward Honesty. The more one limits his or her sense of Expression, which can show up as false personas, lying to oneself, lying to others, not questioning inherited philosophies, avoiding contact, evading society, etc. the more one falls into Deceit. Or Jaded. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as ENCOURAGED. In Negative Health, it can show up as DISMISSIVE. The means by which the Attitude is held in the Positive Pole is at its best when one is Encouraged, or Encouraging. The most direct way of healing this Center is through QUESTIONING. By this we mean that one does not operate from a higher proportion of presumptions and prejudices than one does from curiosity and inquisitiveness. So the questions here, for your assessment of health of the Intellect, is in how often you feel discouraged, jaded, avoiding of contact vs curious, inquisitive, and having an impact. How often do you turn to your sense of encouragement over your sense of dismissiveness? [Janet] This is one center where I think I’m on the positive side. [Janet] Recently anyhow. [ViP1] I think I too might be slightly more on the positive side recently, than the negative [ClaireC] Michael, does this apply to the Intellectual Part as well? MEntity: We are speaking today of these Centers, regardless of Part or Primary. [ClaireC] Okay. [ClaireC] I tend to be on the Positive side here. [GeraldineB] I'm definitely on the more positive side -- it's a major component of post-5th IM MEntity: All of these Centers are functioning in each of you in many ways at all times, though the range varies in terms of health and awareness. [Ingun] I'm sure I have a potential for healing here as well as in all my centers. [Janet] Since yours is an intellectual teaching MIchael, are most of us here more likely to lean toward the positive side of this center? Is there a correlation between being drawn to these teachings and the impact on the intellectual center? MEntity: We think we have shared enough for each of you to consider how these can be checked on for their health, and how to bring them back into positive health, if you choose to do so. It can also help you to understand the point of your falling into negative health, which is not because of failure or doing something "wrong," but that you have a chance to evolve. [Maureen] I'm been focusing on the internal dialogue that goes on in this center as a way towards better health. It isn't always what other people see or how you are in relationships that need "the work". MEntity: Ingun, yes. We will conclude here today by saying that each of you, while allowing yourselves the room for the Negative Health of these Centers, always move back into Positive Health as your integration and evolution. That is the nature of the older souls in positive poles. That is the nature of a true student.
  16. Michael Speaks Open Floor May 23, 2015 Channel: Troy Tolley Luciana: how a person can let go when it became very attached to someone? MEntity: One of the most effective ways for one to "let go" of anything or anyone is "to let it BE." Often what one means when one seeks to "let go" is to alter the investment in a person or thing to be what one expected it to be, not what it IS. To "let go," one must "let BE," which means that you do not have to sever attachments or connections, but learn how to embrace and allow someone or something to be what it is, or what he or she wishes to be on his or her own terms. Your attachments are often not related to the individual at all, but to the ideas projected or infused into that person. If you are grieving the loss of a person to death or to the change or ending of a relationship, then you must allow the grieving process, which is not the same thing as attachment. The grieving process is one's process of accepting a difficult or unwanted truth. One does not have to detach from a person as a means to allow grief. But one does have to LET THE TRUTH BE as a means of "letting go." So when you seek to "let go," instead of focusing on how to detach, ask yourself what the truth is, and do the work of embracing or allowing that truth. Then you will know what to do from there. Of course, this topic is not one that can be so easily summed up in a quick response, but this response can be a place to start. Shazam: I understand that to the essence, all incarnations happen simultaneously. Now does this mean, if I were to make contact with any of my future or past lives, that the personality to whom I am contacting would be the same age as I am at the moment of contact? To say if I were to effect my past life when I am twenty, I would be effecting a 20 year old past life? MEntity: It is a misnomer to say that all incarnations happen simultaneously, because they actually do not. They are not as linear in progression as one would expect, but they are also not happening "all at once." Think of the "all at once" in this way: If you are baking cookies, you still go through the process of mixing the batter, forming the dough, organizing the dough, baking the dough, pulling out the dough, cooling the end product, etc. It could easily be described that you "made all of those cookies 'at once," but there was a progression involved within that "at once." This is similar to how lifetimes work for Essence (and how original Casting works). So while it could be said that many lifetimes are "happening at once," there is still an awesome order to the progression that is not much different from how one may bake a batch of cookies and consider those to be done "all at once." For Essence, the "at once" comes because time is very different on that scale, but each lifetime is its own form and shape within a moment of time that is organized as distinct from every other lifetime. For you, as Personality, baking your batch of cookies from your greater perspective, it is easy for you to say that you baked all of those cookies at once, but only because that is how you experience that frame of time. The reality will still be true that each cookie was formed from a set of steps that were distinct and organized in time. When you speak of your "future" or "past" lives, it may be the equivalent of an oven rack of cookies, then, if you will. The "future" and "past" are only relative to the individual cookie, not to the cookie maker. With that being said, we can respond to your question: Your efforts to communicate or sense or draw in from another life will not be relative to your physical age. You as a 20 year old can contact "you" in another life as a 50 year old. Physical age is not a linking factor. In fact, one of the only and one of the strongest factors of connection across lives is only in terms of related experiences. If you are struggling with an illness at 50 in one life and struggling with an illness at 20 in another life, then that struggle can be a linking factor. Age will be irrelevant. Maureen: Michael, I asked this question in 2011. “How do you see any of our senses, as Roles in Essence, being expanded on in the future - whether through evolution, intervention, etc. – that might surprise us?” Maureen: As part of your answer you said: “In terms of the evolved senses as they relate to Roles, the descriptions would remain the same, but they may manifest as the following ways: …Priests/Orientation, as evolved to allow for easy location of "portals" that include time and space anomalies; and Kings/Relationality, or the capacity for harnessing, stabilizing, and using the time/space anomalies.” Maureen: Would you elaborate on how Priests and Kings would/might work with their senses, Orientation and Relationality, on time and space anomalies in the future? Maureen: If there is not enough time please provide an answer for the Priest Role, only, and I’ll ask about the King Role at another session MEntity: Within 25 to 100 years, the stabilization of access to, and creation of, "wormholes" is highly likely. As that likelihood is realized, so will the necessity for certain senses to evolve. This is because the nature of access and use of increasing control over time and space will require those senses for the phenomena to be used effectively and as a tool. The concept of quantum tunneling, wormholes, "folding" of space/time are not science fiction, but anticipation for valid use of natural occurrences. When a Role evolves its inherent senses, that sense becomes accessible to all other Roles through the Overleaves. So when the King and Priest evolve toward the senses as we describe them, they are "unlocked" for every other Role to access through variations on the Overleaves as they correspond to the Roles/Axes. We point this out because it will not just be Kings and Priests in science working with this leap in understanding and stabilization, but any Role interested in a lifetime working with those senses. Those senses, then, would become tools for mapping out a new layer of reality that is already in place, but not fully understood or known or utilized. Those senses are not necessarily limited to the Roles or the Roles who choose overleaves to access those senses, but can extend into tools that represent those same senses so that "anyone" can access that sense. Our point being that once the senses are unlocked, they can be, eventually, be used by everyone in some way. And the focus of these particular senses are looking at how to make use of the malleable fabric of time/space. If you think your Internet access is amazing, you may be quite shocked at what all of this implies. ViP: "Input" has been defined by you, through Troy, as: "a channel or frequency through which an Essence becomes aware, processes, and comprehends." ViP: From this, I assume that perceptions from the five senses of the body (assuming there are only 5, though of course there are probably more) reach Essence via an input. ViP: Can you give a brief idea of how Senses and Inputs and Chakras/Centers are related to one another and work together in order to convey sense impressions to a person's Essence? ViP: (I am quite sure this will require a topic-level response in itself, so if you could give a brief beginning of a response to point further directions for questions, that would be great.) ViP: (Also, I was referring to the basic 5 senses, ie, touch, smell, hearing, etc, not the ones that Maureen just referred to - but please cover anything you consider relevant.) MEntity: To accommodate this format for our exchange, our response will be in terms of shortcut analogies to help convey as much as possible: First, consider how you process your own day. Your 5 senses are alive and active at all times. However, unless you reach for something and seek to TOUCH/FEEL it, you probably do not notice your clothing on your skin, the temperature of the air, the shoes on your feet, etc. For Touch to be meaningful, it tends to require intention or attention. You are touching all day, but unless that touch grabs your attention or is directed by intention, the touch is passively processed and unnoticed. Your brain is registering ALL of it, and knows that your butt is on a chair, but "you" do not particularly notice that your butt is on a chair, unless the butt starts hurting or it is a particularly comfortable seat. So in terms of INPUT, the senses are fed into that input based on ATTENTION or INTENTION. When the sensory input is ignited by attention or intention, then you are AWARE. And this is the same way it works for Essence in terms of Input. Everything is being funneled into your Inputs at all times and "dumped" into a reservoir for reference and processing and review, but when something in funneled through that was based on ATTENTION or INTENTION, then it activates the Awareness. The 5 senses described here are not specific to an Input, but are a net that is cast for any possible moment of ATTENTION or INTENTION, and then the experience is funneled into the appropriate input where Awareness, Processing, and Comprehension is activated for Essence. The more one has experiences that draw one's Attention, or where one is guided by active Intention, the greater the use of the Inputs and the greater the clarity of access to the life the Essence has. Chakras would work in a similar way. In the context of this question, at least, they can be understood as a net that is cast for all dimensions of the self to monitor for Attention or Intention. As you know, we can always say more on a subject, but we think this may be helpful for now. Janet: There is a set of books called 'The Ra Material', purported to be authored by 'Ra, an humble messenger of the Law of One'. The books contain quite a bit of material that correlates with the Michael material. Both the Ra books and some of the material purported to be from the entity known as Germane speak of spiritual paths referred to as service to others and service to self. Who or what is Ra, and is there any validity to the idea of a spiritual path known as service to self? MEntity: Ra refers to the 8th Manifestation of Infinite Soul approximately 8000 years ago. The material that is shared now is from some fragments who were directly impressed and moved by that Manifestation. However, it is an interpretation and is based on access to the Essence of the individual/s relaying the information, and not on direct access to what was known as Ra. One can see the same from those who claim to carry forth further teachings of Jesus, for instance. It is not the teaching of the Infinite Soul, but an interpretation based on what the original teaching meant or means to the individual. The same has happened even more recently by those touched by Seth and Jane Roberts who now falsely claim to speak on their behalf. So it is not that the teachings are untrue, but that the teachings are their own. Maureen: The Course In Miracles was apparently channeling "Jesus". MEntity: However, in the case of Ra, the base idea is valid in that he taught of the value of the Higher Moving Center and its function, and as the fragment was a King, he was able to teach the ramifications of serving the self vs serving of others. Servers learn the truth of accelerated evolution quite early due to their inclination toward the serving of others. It is the "fastest" path of evolution. However, Servers get hung up near the end because then they must learn how to receive service and how to gain power through themselves, not through others. Kings, on the other hand, are often quite slow to grasp the appeal of serving others, since they can so easily prompt others to serve them. This makes for long arcs of evolution across and within lifetimes. But in much the same way that a revelation eventually comes to a Server that "to serve others" requires a circuit that allows the self to be served, the King eventually realizes that the self is benefited in much healthier ways through their leadership being a service to others. Janet: That makes a lot of sense. Thank you Michael. MEntity: So this fragment was an important pick for the Infinite Soul at the time. Both Service to Self and Service to Other are valid paths, and both must be understood and implemented at some point in every fragment's evolution before cycling off. They are not contradictory terms. We must conclude here for today. We know we did not tend to the entire queue, but we trust we will continue our exchanges with you again soon. Good day to each of you. Goodbye, for now.
  17. April 1, 2004 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS (Online) [Michael_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the requested energy report. As has been explained in previous reports, this period of time will now begin to emphasize the energy described in terms of the “mode” for the year. In this case, it would be PASSION/RESERVE. Over the next three months or so we can see quite a chaotic pattern forming among humans, especially on an emotional level. Many of you who are older souls have already begun to sense this. The emotional climate of the planet will be more chaotic than usual because of the difficulty in reconciling Passion with the Goal of Re-evaluation; combining those energies with the energy of the Sage you will either find profound fun and wisdom in the year ahead, or high drama and high intensity. April through June may bring disorientation and feelings of being “out of synch”, with bouts of overreaction and/or repression. Most of our students will be finding this time as one that will uncover passions that have been repressed. In general, this is a year of revisiting agenda and intentions that have easily been overlooked in years passed. This will mean that an emphasis may come on all the “little things” that have not been experienced or passed over because of more pressing or “important” agenda. Over the next few weeks then, some of you may also uncover the resentment behind your “little things” you are finally doing for yourself. This may easily “throw you off” because it will be old energy being surfaced, much of it having been stored in you from quite early in this life. This may cause a period of non-specific depression or oddly-timed emotional bouts of release. It will be easy for you to assume our report to be a negative report, but this is not the case at all. Beyond the surface of these resentments, repression, and realizations will be the freeing of parts of you that have lacked permission to participate in this life for a long time. And we remind you that these “parts of you” are NOT obviously profound areas. For instance, it may “seem silly” that you finally take time to get a manicure and would really like to have one on a regular basis. It is not the act of having the manicure that is the issue. For each of you this act would mean something different. For some it might be a simple event that makes your body feel included in your appreciation of beauty. For some it may be about the freedom to spend those few extra dollars without judgment. For others it may be the socializing aspect that may come with the experience. The bottom line will be in whether this “little thing” encourages your feeling happy, nurtured, free, at peace, etc. We suggest reminding yourselves occasionally over the next several weeks that it is “naturally” an awkward time energetically. You may find you are clumsier, more forgetful, with electronics, databases, and appliances malfunctioning sporadically and your inner senses feeling less focused. We further suggest you remind yourselves of these three questions: Will/Does it help me be FREE? Will/Does it help me be HAPPY? Will/Does it help me be INSPIRED? If you remember to ask these specific questions of yourself when you might normally dismiss a “little thing” in your life, then you may find your energy remaining more balanced. Having a focus and a permission to experience these “little things” will return you to a greater sense synchronicity during this time of re-evaluation. You cannot keep all unpleasant life experiences from happening, and we realize there will always be larger issues, but you can manage to weave your energy throughout your life on a level that will adapt to fluctuations and growth. We will take your questions now. Q&A on E-REPORT [mdfsage] What can we do for folks who are caught up in depression, physical pain, pulling back during this period? [Michael_Entity] Depression is inwardly-directed anger. It is a lack of self-permission to feel or express that anger, and the anger is usually rooted in a lack of permission to experience a basic Right. During the next month or so, it may be a healthy opportunity to gently encourage steps toward some basic Rights one might have deemed “wrong” to pursue or allow. In terms of physical pain, this would require a more specific look at the individual. For people who may be linking depression, physical pain, and “pulling back”, all together during this time, it can be most helpful to ask the individual what he/she wants/needs. This may not be an easy question to answer. It may be of help for you to keep in mind the 7 Basic Rights of any Sentient Being. If you can help bring the experience of that Right to a person who has resisted it, then healing can be profound and quick. Troy will include the details in your transcript. EXCERPT about “RIGHTS”: As you explore your conscious connection to Essence, you will also be heightening your sense of self as a Personality. You most basic “right”, relating to the Instinctive Center, is your right to exist, or be alive at all. And finally, your 7th chakra/Center is your examination of your right to spirituality, or your right to “inner knowledge”. Though we skimmed these, the slightest examination of these areas of your life can be revealing in what Centers/Chakras are not being cared for or possibly denied, thus blocking Essence. They may have also been damaged or imprinted with allowances from other fragments in the life. The three “lower centers” (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are all the most obvious and easily examined on a daily basis. The Instinctive Center is always under examination and use so it is almost always in some form of distortion when without conscious guidance. END EXCERPT [SilverOne126] Does the feeling of unease (and general frustration) I’ve been sensing in others at work have to do with the build up to this shifting and complex energy period? How long may it continue? [Michael_Entity] It does appear to be linked. There is a general sense of things being extreme, with some hours feeling free and happy, followed by a sense of near-comatose sedation, followed by an unfounded want to cry. We only used those extremes as examples, but there may be many extremes experienced. This passionate, untamed energy is escalating and appears to be “stirring” more into April and part of May. Mid-may will most likely be a shift into more clarity, communication, and stability in the emotions. Old and Late Mature Souls will most likely begin feeling a bit more balanced toward the end of April. We remind you that all of this is uneasy energy is an opportunity to do “good work” in terms of uncovering outdated modes, beliefs, behavior patterns, dismissals, etc. Although appearing chaotic, this energy is prevalent because it is apparently necessary for human growth right now. Frustration will experienced as a by-product of denial. Those who are not making the moments to do those “silly things” may be more likely to have bouts of frustration and disorientation throughout their days. This is not a period of time to be overly concerned with controlling time or space. Those with Impatience and Martyrdom, if severely ruled by these Chief Features, may have the most difficult challenges in remaining calm. In fact, over the next three months one may find those with Impatience and Martyrdom being louder, more demanding, and more exasperated (and exasperating) than ever. For those with Impatience and Martyrdom, we would merely suggest that the next few months are a time where one can “safely” “kick up her heels” and occasionally state, “What the hell…” Let people Be, and let yourself Be. [upstate] like painting a lizard on your wall! [Michael_Entity] And to Lori, yes. If seeing that totem will benefit your space, internally or externally, then it may be time to say, “what the hell…” [Anla899] How do we deal with the fear of doing the “silly things’ like spending too much money? [Michael_Entity] Of course, we do not suggest you jeopardize your physical existence, but if you are remotely capable of gifting yourself or another through the means of money, then the experience will “pay for itself”. Your question does bring to light a very important factor in doing these “little things”: This is your time to experience those things, but some of you may easily use these events as a way to further convince yourself to remain constrained. In other words, you may decide to spend “too much money” and then feel the negative impact, “proving” to yourself that you are not free. We are not saying NOT to “spend too much money”, nor are we saying to be too practical, but we are suggesting that you wholeheartedly do whatever you decide and then be at peace with that decision. The point will be that you ENJOY IT. As a matter of maintaining perspective, most of your little things that you have avoided are not elaborate, complicated, or expensive. They are “little things”. If you are worried about spending too much money of a “little thing”, you may be missing the point. We certainly do not intend to encourage all of you to succumb to periods of chaos within the chaos, but we do state that there is a lack of order right now that can allow for many “little things” to be “fit in” to your days. As a side note: We have noticed that several of our students are feeling a rekindled inspiration to write, sing, paint, or otherwise express themselves. [H2OSprtlvr] When you give an energy report via Troy, is it specific to the members in attendance or for people on the East Coast or everyone worldwide? I ask only because some Michael channelers seem to give energy reports based on the region they reside in. [Michael_Entity] In most cases we interpret the energy in terms of the North American continent. If the channel directs this further we may then interpret more specifically in terms of those in attendance, or a country, or the planet. We are describing our work with Troy, but many of our channels are regularly more specific to a region and to those in attendance. Good night to each of you. We will now conclude.
  18. February 17, 2000 Troy Tolley, Channel (referred to as Otterly in the transcript) Open Floor [Michael_Entity] Yes, we are here. One moment. Tonight, we have an “open floor” and you will take part in shaping the topic terrain. You may begin asking questions in the format set for this forum. We are ready. [Nemo999] If I was to materialize on your plane what would it look like to me? [Michael_Entity] This is a difficult scenario to translate. There are no needs for physical eyes in the Causal Plane, therefore, as a human this “place” may still remain “invisible”. The closest scenario we can come to transferring the experience of the Causal to you is more in terms of your Intellectual “a-ha’s!”… the space where everything suddenly makes sense and is connected clearly. [nemo999] To me dreams are unclear and very hazy–what I picture as your plane of existence. [Michael_Entity] The Plane itself encompasses the Astral and the Physical, with the Astral and Physical simply being more condensed versions of the same energy. It would not be impossible then for you to experience Causality while Physical, but with a tremendous drop in frequency and in circles of realization. To describe it in Physical terms is not possible. It is intellectually based and therefore, as we said, those moments of clarity and insight become foundations and structures “here”. Take a moment one day and make a note of every person you pass; note that their life is filled, has its path and it crossed yours, briefly or deeply. Follow the thoughts that lead from each person and how they must move into spaces that you will never see, filling other lives as well, crossing other paths in brevity or depth. Continue this throughout your day in as solid a way as possible, retaining a count of each person and a brief inner comment on their reality. If you are able to do this for a full 24 hours and grasp the magnitude of your contact, crossings, connections, etc. You will have a moment where you have grasped a reflection of Causality. [nemo999] My picture is of dots of light, sort of a probability cloud of them. [Michael_Entity] A cloudy image will not suffice as a reflection; there would need to be comprehension. This is why it is a goal while Physical to BE Physical, not Causal. We note to you that you will have “plenty of time” to enjoy the Causal when you “get here”. We will still be “here” when you get here, in fact. [MaryBV] For the past couple of weeks, a small group of people have been working with Terri with Motherwave breathing exercises. It appears I have an energy block in my knees. Could Michael tell me what sorts of reasons energy can become bottled up in the body? What sorts of things might we do to keep our energy flowing unimpeded through the body? [Michael_Entity] We would not be able to comment on reasons for energy “blockages” with any meaning unless specifically about a person; the reasons are highly subjective. We can, however, say that on a larger scale this symbolizes where your FOCUS or LACK of focus is. The body is symbolic on a larger scale too, and the location has meaning. You would first determine whether this “blockage” is sensed as having “edges” or if it seems “muffled” and heavy. If it seems sharp or edged, this is an indication of having a seriously distracting FOCUS in that particular area of the life. If the energy seems muffled or cloudy and heavy, this is a serious LACK of attention in that area of the life. The KNEES are an area of the body where an individual deals with the false personality and Chief Feature. In examining this combined symbology, you may find you are either RESISTING looking at an area of the life being run by CF or currently in battle with the area of life run by CF. There are, of course, many other ways of perceiving the meaning of energy when sensed from an inner place, but this is our basic response. Do you have a further question about this? We will respond. [MaryBV] Is it usually this life that causes the energy to become bottled up, or does past life play a part? How does one know? [Michael_Entity] That is a subtle difference. We suggest that if it is coming up, it is certainly relevant within the present life somehow, regardless of past life associations. Each life has its own set of tools and parameters, even if some of its impetus and motivation stem from the “past”. It is always most meaningful to search your present first. The “past” may make more sense of its intensity or history, broadening the contexts, but only THIS life will find its solution. [mamajo] A while back in public chat, you said that to connect with the energy of our entity, we should try to visualize a “Michael central” in a type of meeting house. When I did this, I connected directly with your channel Otterly (who is an entity mate of mine), could you re-define the process for me, perhaps I was doing it wrong. [Michael_Entity] Are you speaking of connecting with your own entity, or us? [mamajo] Well, the context I understood it to be was my own entity, which would allow sharing and learning to take place. I’m not referring to channeling per-se, just connecting to the energy stream to aid in learning. I think I understood it to be analogous to astral school to be. [Michael_Entity] In either case, you were not “doing it wrong”. In fact, what you have energetically and symbolically deemed Otterly IS a “type of meeting house”. You can be more specific in your design, changing this to a literal visual house, or allow your inner picture to be what is more easily recognizable as a resource. By connecting to “Otterly”, this symbol can act as a very meaningful conduit, in this case for your own Entity OR in connection with us (since Otterly is connected to both). If you are distracted by your symbol of the “meeting house”, it is up to you to simply change that symbol. Otherwise, it is valid. [mamajo] Ok, so I didn’t do it wrong then, I thought I had done a “bad thing” there impinging on a “person's energy place”. [Michael_Entity] That is not a possibility. When you “call” on someone, even if specifically, the aspect you call to you, the energy that makes that up, is but an extension of the energy, specifically for you. It has no bearing on the core source and its experience of itself. This is why it is possible to dream of someone intimately without that dream being “shared” or remembered together and how you can “meet” Astrally without both having to be asleep. [Peepo] Why is the period of history we are living in like that of Caesar Augustus? [Michael_Entity] There are many parallels to that time frame, from the dynamics of Government to the culture, from the distribution of wealth, to the methods of taxes and welfare. That is a large topic and one with which we can delve into as a specific when the forum is focused entirely on the topic. We will say that the disruption of your leaders in the U.S. is the most important parallel having to be dealt with. The crux of this disruption has not come full circle yet. We will also note that this channel is not one of our best historians, therefore we are limited here. The parallels in culture are in the celebrations of art and creativity, freedom of expression, and an emphasis on peace. It is also in the development of care for all, not just the wealthy, including free basics in terms of shelter and food and clothing. These things are progressively becoming accessible in the U.S. We do have much more to say on the topic. We will continue at another time. [Deb] Will Michael explain the difference between want and need? [Michael_Entity] We find the differences between WANT and NEED to be profound: WANT is anything you are choosing consciously to ADD to your life, while NEED is anything you seek to FILL or SUSTAIN your life. There are certain areas of your life that are defaulted “pockets” seeking to be filled; these are NEEDS (food, shelter,…) There are certain areas of your life where a foundation is built and additions are sought (such as more relationships, more money, more or anything…), and that seeking is a WANT. There are always NEEDS and WANTS in a life and both add to the sense of searching in a life. NEEDS will always seek to be fulfilled first, at any cost. If they are not met, WANTS then become “dreams” unfulfilled or desperation, longings. [HectorO-C] I wanted to know if an update on the manifestation of the Infinite Soul was possible. [Michael_Entity] Since the beginning of this year, we have seen a tremendous drop in activity around preparations for a manifestation. The Infinite Soul will only manifest in a parallel or time frame when the Sentience is lacking direction and seeks assistance. A “surprising” factor in the last Nexus is in the detailed filtering of reality options that were leading toward more disintegration. This has created a lull in assessment, a pause, to see what humans will create over this year. It appears your species seeks more integration “on your own” than you might have anticipated. The novelty of having a manifestation may be exciting, but the indication that your species and the planet are transiting in Soul Age with little incidence is equally exhilarating to the soul. This can be likened to a teenager whose “father” threatens to pull over to make a point, but then the teenager making its own efforts to grow and communicate. So our update as far as we can see is a holding pattern. We will comment as this unfolds. [Barry] I am asking as proxy for another…. I am concerned with the future generations to come of our young. I believe that many are on the way to faster enlightenment, but still many are having a hard time. How could we as parents and adults help? I have a few ideas but perhaps you might validate or advise something? [Michael_Entity] Each generation of youth, as they mature and reach adulthood, has the same reaction to seeing the following generations of youth. What we would suggest is trusting in their processes. Those before you feared for you and you “survived”. This will not change for the next generation after you. This is more about your maturing than anything else; it is natural and part of your own growth. There is no “faster enlightenment” available now than there was before. We are unclear as to what you refer. The most any parent or adult can do is BE adults and parents, not seek to be saviors or heroes. Realizing your knowing more about the world and your place in it has made you no more or less “safe” will free you to shine as examples of trust, rather than teaching fear and false needs for protection and guidance. By assuming the children are in some form of vague danger in the world, this will be what is taught in your actions, if reaching out with that in your hands. Instead, seek the details of each child’s hopes, dreams, and levels of creativity and trust them, allow them to run with it. Provide as much childhood as possible, full of fun and activity and expression. Many of you interfere with a child’s natural development of confidence and competence by seeking to undermine them with good intentions. A child is as intelligent in its desires as you are. The greatest thing you can do collectively as adults is rally for changes in the educational systems. This is one of our own agendas and we are working with many in the system to change this. It is one of our intentions to redesign the contexts for education. This then is the only real tangible action that can be taken in terms of “generations”. If it is not your “calling”, then your only tangible action can be in creating a sanctuary for your children, creating lines of freedom for their expression, acting as examples of trust in life. In truth, each generation continues to “have it better” than the last. This has been the case for some time. We would not be here otherwise, ourselves. There must be an element of prosperity and peace in the environment for us to work with a channel and speak to masses. Otherwise, all are tending to Needs. [MaryBV] I am under the impression that a person’s aura fluctuates and changes quite a bit. Do the roles in essence have certain signature colors? Does your frequency have any determination in the color of the aura? [Michael_Entity] Yes, you are correct. Each Role can be said to resonate with the colors commonly attributed to the Chakras. It takes some practice to specifically “see” that level, but it can be done. Frequency creates the “hue” of that color. We remind you that as you are Physical, it is impossible to “see” another’s Aura without the colors of your own being used as a filter. If you hold a red film up to yellow, you will get a completely different color than if you held up a blue filter to yellow. Keeping that in mind, you may have to calibrate or adjust your perceptions so they can be interpreted properly. We will conclude here.
