At the recent Mid-Atlantic gathering, some of us were discussing the way some of the original Michael terms have been "updated" slave to server for one example. This morning I had a few minutes available to read and I opened MFM at random to read a page or two. The page I happened to open to was the diagram for the centers. It reads Higher Intellectual Intellectual +integration - telepathy +thought - reason Higher Emotional Emotional +empath -intuition +sensibility - sentimentality Moving Sexual +enduring - energetic +amoral - erotic Instinctive +atomic - anatomic It seems to me that the currently used Physical in place of Sexual has totally changed the meaning and I don't even know the poles but I doubt they are similar. Although I understand that Michael does not wish us to be too rigid or hung up on words, it seems that words nonetheless have meanings. I would like to know Michael's take on changing terms in general and the major changes in centering in particular. I have even heard talk of an 8th center purporting to have come from Michael. Could they confirm or deny this? FROM MICHAEL (through Troy): QUESTION I would like to know Michael's take on changing terms in general and the major changes in centering in particular. We do not mind if you become "rigid" or "hung up on words," but we do point out that there is no valid point in enforcing one term over another as a correct term for all of our students. There will be many words that work, and each word may work for some and not work for others. That is the peril and pro of the nuances of language and personal truths. It is valid that words do "have meaning" and that there are drastic differences among the intended definitions of words, regardless of colloquial or personal interpretations. Through some of our channels we are able to convey the words that we choose, while through other channels, the choice is overridden by the preference of the channel, and even further altered by the preferences of our students. Though some students and channels will impose their own words and meaning onto our teaching, many of the changes are valid in terms of this teaching being an evolving teaching and not a static teaching. The changes in terminology over time could be said to be from one or more of the following factors: 1) a "higher" move in terms due to evolution in understanding and application; 2) a lateral move in terms due to accommodation of current language or more precision; and 3) a random move in terms to reflect lack of understanding and application. We will explore a few examples below. Some of the changes over time have come from a growing awareness and consciousness among students and channels, with a term progressing to a "higher" point in the pattern to reflect this. An example of this would be in the case of the Goal of Rejection moving "higher" into its own Positive Pole of Discrimination. With Discrimination as the higher emphasis, Rejection then becomes a Negative Pole, and Discrimination has its own Positive Pole, which could be described as Sophistication. In future versions of our teaching, you might find this Goal to have changed into a Goal of Sophistication, with a Negative Pole of Discrimination and a Positive Pole of Complexity or Enlightenment. Some of the changes are lateral moves based on accommodations of the language of the times or more precision in definition, such as with the Mode of Repression into Reserved. Both terms are valid, but "Reserved" is not only more accessible and empowering within the use of language at this time, but is also more precise, in that Inspiration is not just repressed, but specifically reserved for certain people, scenarios, and intentions. It could be said, then, that "Reserved" is a move that encompasses "Repression" and further describes how that repression works, but that "Repression" excludes "Reservation" and does not describe how that repression lifts in specific instances to a controlled flow. Another example of this lateral move is in "Server" from "Slave." The difference between "Slave" and "Server" is negligible enough, but one is more precise and empowering and encompassing than the other, though both are valid. "Slave" describes an Essence that is entirely dominated by an influence, person, or cause, which is often the case for this soul, and therefore an accurate term, but "Server" is slightly broader in its inclusion and awareness of Choice. The Essence Role of an individual and how that manifests is a choice, not a condemnation of design. Many Older Servers over time have proven that the "Slave" is not always interested in offering any kind of service, bondage, or submission to an influence; the Older soul of a "Server" or "Slave" is inclined toward their presence being offered as a gift; therefore, Server is more accessible and intimate for those who are Older "Slaves" because they are reminded of the choice to Serve (or not to serve) beyond the sense of obligation, programming, or influence. Many younger Essences are accurately described as "Slaves" because the younger the "Slave" the more likely they will manifest in a way that displays their programming or obligation, while the Older "Slaves" have refined their use of Choice and now offer to serve when they know they can serve, and don't offer when they cannot. Some of the changes are reflective of the areas of the teaching that are least-understood and utilized. In all cases of naming energies, it is limited to the experience and understanding of the channel or student, and some energies are more inclined to be incomprehensible than others. When it comes to the Action Axes, we have very few students or channels living from those Centers, so it comes of no surprise to us that our students and channels have juggled several terms to "try them on for size," so to speak. This happened to be the case when we first began speaking through our channels and continues to be the case in regard to these particular Centers. They are the "hot potatoes" of the Centers. They are Action. It makes sense to us that they have continued to "move," if you will. However, when we look at these Centers in relation to the rest, we see the simplest terminology (Higher Moving/Lower Moving) to be the most effective and in keeping with a practical foundation, but one may use whatever works. One factor that can help in the substantiation of a term as it relates to our intent is to see how it fits into a pattern that we have shared as an obvious foundation for our teaching. For the most part, we have a highly-organized map to share with you and when a term, phrase, or element distracts from that pattern, or interrupts it, then this term, phrase, or element may not be in line with what we intended to describe. This will not mean that the term, phrase, or element is not useful or meaningful to the individual or group, but that it may not be sourced from our intent, if that matters to you to consider. Considering the "pattern vs distraction" can help in cases such as this. For example, the pattern for describing the Centers is simple: 4 Axes, 3 of which are organized as having "higher" and "lower" components and a 4th as a "neutral," or "assimilative" point. We realize that some may find distaste for the concept of "higher" and "lower," but we remind you that this is an Old Soul Teaching. The issues related to the words "higher" and "lower" are usually not issues for the Older Soul. Older Souls have lost the interest and necessity for organizing and comparing within superficial hierarchies and status. The words "higher" and "lower" are describing exactly how the energies operate for the Physical presence and Personality relative to Essence. If you choose to use words that are less-charged by younger soul interpretations, then that will be your choice. Some have suggested "Cardinal" and "Ordinal," and these are acceptable to us. QUESTION: I have even heard talk of an 8th center purporting to have come from Michael. Could they confirm or deny this? MICHAEL: Though our term of "Center" is fairly synonymous with "Chakra," they are not the same. "Center" is used to refer to a "Center of Gravity" and when one is physical, there are 7 of these from which a Personality may be inclined to use out of habit. We have no 8th Center of Gravity in our teaching. However, there is an 8th Chakra because there are hundreds of Chakras throughout the Physical and Non-Physical Bodies, and while this 8th Chakra will be a part of the system of energies flowing through the bodies, it will not be a Center from which the Personality could habitually respond to life.
  2. February 7, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel Education Part One Note from Janet: This transcript refers to the session as 'Part 1', but it does not appear another session on the topic was ever held. [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the Energy Report as it stands for the weeks between February 9th through the 22nd of the same month. You are now well into the energy described as Discrimination, and so far, the energy has seemed to be generally maintained in the Positive Poles for most. The most obvious effect from this energy will be in the heightened awareness of a single or couple of MAJOR choices needing to be made. We said the first couple of weeks looked to be calm and an opportunity for restful interaction with Essence, but the next couple of weeks appear to be focused on making the one or two major choices that will alter the life in some way. It could be said to be a pivotal period of time for many of you on a personal level. The period of time that supported time for restful interaction with Essence apparently was to help in the process of gaining more consciousness in Choice. Although Decisions are made all of the time, Choices are made that alter the life and create Parallels. Decisions lead to Choices. When Decisions are made, Personality can be aligned with Essence or not. When Choice is made, the alignment is seriously examined and this is a strong factor in how Choice is made. This could indicate an upsurge in most people, particular Mature and Old Souls, to implement a regular routine now of communicating to Essence in more personal ways. As this is a Moving Centered Year, as we have said in other contact, this will most likely mean you will be taking into consideration how your immediate environment reflects your relationship to Essence. Symbolism is very high right now, too, in terms of home arrangement, dreams, and “omens.” It is a particularly clear time to consult your favorite oracles, mediums, or channels. It is a particularly clear time to speak to and listen to (communicate with) people around you who might have insight, whether they realize it or not. February 12 appears to be highlighted as significant and pivotal. We realize this is the “Chinese new year,” we believe, but we do not refer to the date because of that. It simply seems to be the most sensitive and unformed day within the period of time in question. This tends to imply significance on a larger level. We will take your questions about the Energy Report now. If there are no questions, we will begin on the Topic. [Glenn] I notice a correlation to the period you discuss with the Mayan calendar. According to that, we are just ending a period of “core days,” where we work on core issues. Can you comment? [M_Entity] We have found through many of our students and channels that there tends to be a correlation between our perspective of energy patterns and the Mayan pattern mapped by their calendar. We can only say that this serves to act as validation for us and our students that the Mayan Calendar and its implications are worth examination. The mapping of celestial tides and patterns so far into the future are valid. The interpretations of these patterns, however, are symbolic. This is what makes the validity so uncanny. Astrology as you know it, is certainly not as clear and it does not claim the same detail. The only “flaw” in the Mayan interpretations is when the calendar “ends.” The commonly accepted date is off. [Kieran] Would the teaching of a simple core speaking language (one exists) make a big difference in breaking down cultural barriers and misunderstandings world wide? [M_Entity] Yes, of course. This does not usually occur as a World Truth until the latter part of a Mature Soul Age. Until that time, the focus is from a stronger Young Soul influence on maintaining “culture,” “heritage,” “history,” and “tradition.” The beginning of a Mature Soul world goes through a long and tedious period of “reaching out” in ways to acknowledge and understand all minority groups’ identification. This allows everyone to feel as if they have been included and are a part of the world. Then the task of weaving these differences into cohesion is taken on, and the first method of choice is choosing a common language. This concept is met with less reaction and pride by that time. [Anne49] With reference to the Mayan Calendar’s end date being “off,” will you tell us what the correct date is? [M_Entity] We will look at the Mayan Calendar’s accurate ending as we move through tonight. We are having a block at this time in that area through this channel. [NOTE from TROY: I have not made time to get Michael’s response to this, yet] If there are no more questions, we will begin with the Topic. Education, Part One The topic of Education is a broad one. We will be sharing some basic considerations we believe would help fragments begin a life with optimum potential and development of personal tools. “Education” begins within 48 hours of Physical Birth. The Body is a complete sensory unit and focal point “into” the Physical Plane for Essence at that time. We say the Body is “complete” as a sensory unit at that time because, relative to later influences, certain senses may or may not be heightened or diminished over time. For the first 7 years of a life, in general, the Essence gradually “moves in.” Essence does not live through the Body before that period of time, though there are exceptions. During the first 7 years, past life Personalities of relevance, as well as Essence, “care” for the Body and direct it and those fragments of importance around it for as many opportunities for imprinting as possible. When we say the “Essence and past Personalities direct those of importance,” we do not imply this is done through deceit or imposition. It is done through Agreement formation and fulfillment in most cases, or Karma. However the Body is cared for and guided, between the ages of 2 and 3 the Centering has become habit. This then would become one of its Overleaves. This is the first Overleaf of importance in determining the beginnings of Education on a higher level than primal. Children, then, can easily be said to be from three basic groups: Moving Centered, Intellectually Centered, and Emotionally Centered. There are, of course, those who are Instinctive Centered, and we will address these rare fragments another time. If intentional Education is addressed to fragments before the age of 7, it is helpful to acknowledge their primary Centering during that time as the priority. Moving Centered children, indicated many times by Physical symptoms in the skin (barring basic “diaper rash”) and tendencies to hit, bounce, stand, and/or pull more strongly, would gain more from focus on toys that encourage the EARS or HEARING. Intellectually Centered children, indicated many times by far more vocalizations, screaming, and “tantrums,” would do well with an emphasis on toys that require physical contact, touching. Emotionally Centered children, indicated many times by more quiet, smiling, and “good” babies, would do well with an emphasis on toys which require balance, combining, and color. (Emotionally Centered children see color far earlier than other children.) Before we continue, we will pause for questions about educating children up the age of 7. Are there any questions? [ClaireN] How does the environment affect learning? [M_Entity] If you consider the basic route of education for the child under 7 years of age, then it could be said that any emphasis on the more distracting influences could diminish learning. It could also be said that an OVER emphasis can be damaging. For instance if an Emotionally Centered child has a focus on Hearing, they may lose the important development from the more complementary route of Color, Balance, and Combining. Then again, if they are overexposed to harsh colors and chaos, they may tend to inhibit all interest in anything to complement their Centering. If an Intellectually Centered child has more of a focus on Hearing and Music, for another example, they may lose the important shaping from the more complementary need for Touch and Physical Interaction; though if they are carelessly touched, or indifferently cared for, they can be greatly damaged. As you can see, most caretakers intuitively provide ALL of the possible complementary toys and methods for education. But we can say that if an emphasis of a healthier development is a consideration, the more specific suggestions are important. Did this answer your question? [ClaireN] Yes, thank you. [M_Entity] You may have noticed that what we have suggested as educational focus is not primary to the Centering that is developing. Instead, it is complementary in that the emphasis will create a contrast to create a “rounding out” of the Center, creating less of an opportunity for the Center to live in a TRAP or PART, later. By the Age of 7, the Part is a habit. The greater the comprehension and strength of the Center by that time, the less it depends on a Part, but instead, uses ALL Parts appropriately. From the Age of 7, the focus of Education would best be geared toward defining the “Primary Essence Influence.” We say “Primary Essence Influence” because Essence may or may not be supported by the Overleaves as they rest on a predominate Axis. When it comes to a lifetime, especially before the 4th Internal Monad, the Personality, as the OVERLEAVES define it, is the most important concern, not necessarily the Role of Essence. Emphasizing discovering the Personality and its focus is key in allowing Essence to manifest as clearly and consistently as possible later in life. With that being said, it must be considered that past the age of 7, Education must address 3 very vital areas of the Personality: The Goal, the Mode, and the Attitude. Currently, those with an emphasis on Overleaves resting on the Inspiration, Expressive Axes are lost to the emphasis on the Moving and Assimilative Axes. Creative, Inspiring activities and outlets are not available in any meaningful way until after what is called High School, in most cases. Because the system is focused on only supporting only the Moving or Assimilative Axes, even if programs are in place for Expression and Inspiration, they are ridiculed, belittled, and under-funded, separating that group of Personalities in potentially detrimental ways. We suggest an overhaul of this basic inconsiderate system of education by not only creating methods of teaching that accommodate each Axis, but also accommodate each area of important development in terms of the Goal, Mode, and Attitude. This would mean teaching children from the primary axis of Inspiration through methods that encourage Emotional associations, feelings, and intuition. Teaching children from the primary axis of Action to be taught through sports, physical interaction, and tactile methods. Teaching Expressive Axis children through stories, expression, acting, communication, art, performance and stage. This is highly simplistic, but we realize the time frame we have through this channel is limited. Using the appropriate methods based on Axis, the school “day” would then be emphasized in 3 segments, each focusing on either the Goal, Mode, or Attitude. This basically means developing and encouraging the basic tendencies and interests of the child as he or she has shown interest (the goal), teaching the very basics of intimacy, sexuality, relationships, and exposure to varying cultures (the Mode). Teaching the 7 basic philosophies on the planet (the attitude). We cannot emphasize enough the importance of teaching the 7 basic philosophies before or during the teen years. If there is one, single aspect of education that condemns a society to unhealthy development and division, it is in the lack of understanding your own personal perceptions/philosophy and those of others. We will add here that we have not forgotten the Assimilative Axis. This Axis, of all of them, is the most adaptable and would gravitate itself toward the Axis most meaningful at varying points of development. The irony is in the “backward” approach to using, instead, the whole of Assimilation as the means to teach, rather than allowing those who are naturally Assimilative to adapt. We will pause here for questions, noting that this topic is far from concluded here, though the time is running out. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here. [JNelson] How do the Overleaves figure into how to teach a specific subject matter that a culture has already decided to teach? For instance, how would you teach Inspiration or Emotionally inclined fragments about math? [M_Entity] The premise of a subject would not change. In the case of Math, of course the focus must be on objects and their relation to each other. For each Axis, it is not necessarily that the means to teach would vary so wildly, but that the emphasis in the environment would change. For instance, the Inspirational children would learn Math based in an environment that is less structured, more intuitive, and made room for feelings. The Expressive children would learn through socializing, acting out the theories in story or song, and playing. A stereotypical classroom for the Inspirational children would be calmer, working with 3 dimensional representations, and using discussion, guessing, and emotional language. A Stereotypical classroom for the Expressive children would be boisterous, loud, using humor, food, and smells and lots and lots of personal associations to learn. The difference we propose is that a room with structure, pen and paper, and facing forward, are only specifically beneficial to Assimilation, and secondarily to Action. Beanbags chairs, toys, and stage, regardless of the subject, would keep a Sage’s or Artisan’s attention in any subject all the way through High School. Although we are not complete on this subject, we will conclude here. We will continue this subject at the request of our students, if the interest is there. Good Night.

    DISCRIMINATION

    *This is a summarized description using my own interpreted understandings and a mix of many quotes from Michael that can be read+studied in the source material below. Feel free to check in for updates, as more information may be gathered on this topic from newer sessions. GOAL of DISCRIMINATION When Discrimination is chosen, there is an effort to define the life on one’s own and make better, more refined choices for yourself that you like. It is about saying NO, but meaning it with integrity+honesty; stripping away all the “bullshit” that you or others create to navigate life with a better understanding, and a clarity of distinction. When in -Rejection, he messily, outright rejects all his choices, or experiences a literal or symbolic rejection from other people or things that leads him to learn to just say NO all the time. He simply says/finds ways to say NO, to avoid having to look at, deal with, or experience what he does not want to. Otherwise stated, he turns to rejection to deal with any Loathing or Imposition, often from a point of protection, overgeneralization or prejudice, leaving him with nothing or very little as his default choice in the end. To move from -Rejection to +Refinement, Discrimination must +Accept and say YES to something in what he's rejecting. He cannot truthfully mean NO, unless he first says YES. As an example, rather than rejecting an entire selection of grapes because a few are bruised, he would reject only those that are bruised, accepting the rest. In +Refinement/Sophistication, he determines+chooses what of his available choices, he resonates with, bringing clarity + refinement to his communication when saying YES, and rising above reactionary rejection when saying NO.   4. January 3, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel State of the Planet THANKS TO MARYBV for Editing and Moderating! Thanks to ANNE for Moderating! Thanks to ALL of you who came! NOTE: This copy includes some clarifications and editing for the purpose of getting more information from Michael. [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are present. We have been asked to address the “state of the planet” as we see it for your year 2002. Though a great deal of this will be extrapolation and probabilities, we will try to remain focused on the more contextual energies, higher probabilities, and how you can use or evade them. We will note here that it will also bear even more light on the effect of the Overleaves for a year’s time when you look at your past year’s Overleaves in retrospect. As we have announced previously through this channel, the Overleaves as they continue to stand for most of the planet at this time are: Priest/Discrimination/Passion/Pragmatist with Moving Center/Intellectual Part and the Chief Negative Features of Impatience/Martyrdom. The time frame of the year ahead will have the general context of Priest Energy and Moving Center. This means, overall, regardless of your ROLE in Essence, you may find yourselves determining your interaction with the world in terms of whether you are serving the Higher Good or not, whatever you or your Community Truths have deemed that to be. The ROLE and CENTER always set the foundation for the general context the world will be using as a medium of expression, inspiration, action, and assimilation. In this case, the year’s emphasis will be more on Inspiration and Action as the filter through which your life will be contributing to, or extracting from, the collective world. Considering the context of the Moving Center, this might mean that many of you will feel moved to literally take part in organizations, groups, outings, travels, activities, etc., as they relate to that collective “higher good.” This Priest-oriented year allows you to take a good, long look at what you believe to be the higher truths in your world and communities as you participate with, contribute to, battle with and/or create those very truths. In a Priest-oriented year combined with the Moving Center, you will find yourselves Physically manifesting what your own Compassion dictates, even if this leads to Zeal. Priest Years, then, bring serious examination of collective beliefs involving Compassion, Inspiration, and Zeal, and how you contribute to them, while a Moving Centered year will provide the medium through which this is all examined and experienced, either Productively or Frenetically. The Moving Center, then, creates a medium in the Physical Plane through your Body, your Environment (including your Pets and Plants you tend as part of your environment), your Physically intimate relationships, your Boundaries, Travel, Transportation, and Health. Of course, there are many more examples we could give, but these are fair enough. We will note here that ALL qualities of ALL Roles are inherent in ALL fragments in varying degrees, which the Overleaves emphasize or challenge in varying lives. Noting where your own Overleaves fall on their Axis in relation to the Cardinal Inspiration and Ordinal Moving will tend to indicate whether your own year will more “involved” in the world or not. Those who will be drawn into the “mix of things” of world or community events will first be those who are Priests/Servers and those who are Moving Centered, but those who have Growth, Passion, Spiritualist, or Saturn Body Types, and those who are Warrior, or in Submission, Perseverance, Cynic, or with Martial Body Types will play supporting roles in the unfolding of larger events, as well. The more your own Overleaves match these highlighted, the more “meaningful” this year will tend to be for you, whether in your personal life or in your experience of the world. In terms of high probabilities, we do see two “new” Priests taking the spotlight this year; fragments who have never been in the spotlight before, but are intending to play a vital role in the year ahead. One is an Early Mature Priest fragment currently living in South Africa, and the other is a Late Mature Priest residing currently in the North Eastern United States. These fragments have elected to take stances for peace that may or may not be implemented, but the effort and ideas will at least be strongly presented and considered. Some ideas are going to be controversial and upsetting, but most will agree it is time for these approaches, whether you do or not. Both Priests are Female. Interestingly, these fragments are not directly involved in Politics or Religion, as many Priests are realizing these fields no longer hold the respected stances needed for inspiration. We remind you that we are not predicting anything; we merely convey the current, higher probabilities, which contain as much possibility for change as anything Many of you will be continuing to deal with a familiar, yet uncomfortable energy as it carries over from last year: the Moving Center and Intellectual Part. Last year had much of the population in the context of the INTELLECTUAL CENTER, Moving PART, with as many in the Moving Center, Intellectual Part. This year should prove to be more confined to the specific contexts of the Moving Center and Intellectual Part. This looks to be a collective decision that “things DO need to change, but let’s THINK before we DO.” Last year resulted in a great deal of damage from those who were using the Intellectual, Moving PART as their force. In the end, the year found a great heaviness of depression and grief reigning as the Emotional Center energy was all but neglected. You may find the next year as exhausting on your emotions, as well, since there is little emphasis on the Emotional Center again. With the Priest Energy of the year, there will, of course, be a vague, higher context of examination in terms of Love and Empathy from the resonance of the Higher Emotional, but the results of that examination will most likely not feel fulfilling until 2003. So, once again, you enter into a year where the Emotional world could be left behind in favor of ideas, actions, and changes. Many of you may feel the impact of this rapid momentum of energy when it feels there is little time to really reflect before the next event is asking to be dealt with. A Moving Centered year moves quite rapidly in perception and this can be challenging to the Older Souls who are healthy participants in the world, yet wish for a “break”. 2002 will most likely seem to have pockets of emptiness and vague memory as many fragments “ride the energy” through the year in a “waking sleep” when they feel they have to. The Late Mature and Old Souls are most likely to find these gaps in memory, or find that the year seemed to have “disappeared.” These sensitive fragments are having a hard time coping with the world events as they are unfolding. Many of these Older Souls have already been through some of the most horrific carnage this planet has had to face in terms of human loss, war, and grief, so there is a great deal of inner repugnance, repulsion, and disturbance being brought up. “Learning your lessons” in areas of war, death, and harm does not make you apathetic; in fact it makes you much more “sensitive” to these very matters. Many may feel suicidal, depressed, angry, or unhealthy as they feel this intensity in the world currently is far “too soon” occurring and intentions for the life are being reconsidered for many of the parallels as to what to do. Those who genuinely do not find any benefit from remaining, will opt to exit within this year from the Older Soul community, or find magnificent, “magical”, “miraculous” events happening for them that tend to remove them from the collective events in some way. Though this reaction to the planetary growth is not limited to Older Souls, it is stronger in that group. Moving Centered years almost always bring a great deal of death in groups and bizarre disasters, along with extreme manifestations in the Physical Plane, for better or worse. For instance, more “advances and breakthroughs” in the biology and medicine worlds will be announced, with a great deal of emphasis on cloning, of course. This year will also bring to light some new, amazing modes of transportation that have not caught on yet, along with a marketable home robotic “maid/butler” that will most likely be controversial. “Terrorist” attacks will continue to plague the US and Europe, though primarily in the US where it will continue to be confusing as to whether these are related to the extremists of Muslims or simply domestic exploitation for personal causes. We do see a great deal of the attacks coming from “within” and being completely unrelated parties, with a stronger intent than ever to create a civil war. The first three months of your year are in the context of Discrimination. Last year had most of the year focusing on Acceptance issues, while this year will focus on refinement and clarifying of what you have discovered are just not acceptable at this point. This will be the year where more collective communication is required in highly sensitive areas where groups are standing behind their rejection of certain aspects of life and society. The first three months now will be in taking a serious, somber look at what really isn’t working for you in life, either collectively or privately. Most of this will be in the context of what work you are doing, how much of your energy is involved in your life tasks, and how your interaction with the world contributes, as we said, to the “higher good”. These first three months may seem quite rocky to some of you as the energy is implemented and stabilized, but by April, the intensity of scrutiny and defining of boundaries should be eased. Those who consciously work through these energies will most likely find themselves in what would seem to be a “better”, more sound place in their life and material world. Those who resign themselves to overwhelm, or are simply not interested in dealing at all, may find themselves feeling rejected, isolated, and on the fringes of a rapidly-moving year. This is not a rule, of course, nor is it a means to “scare” you; we merely comment on the general possibility of how fragments may react. April through June will focus more on the MODE of the year, and the Goal will have taken footing by then. This year, April through June looks to be the most exciting, volatile, and erratic as fragments find passion for will now start to be indulged in. When you reach the phase of Passion Mode, many will find this time to be where the emphasis is on your most intimate relationships and how “true and meaningful” they are in your life. Considering this is a Passion year, the examination will be on whether you are actually developing more of who you are by being in these relationships, or if you are simply identifying with that person and use them to superficially define you. Neither is good or bad, but the latter will be less comfortable in a year of Discrimination. Relationships will have their struggles during that period of time, and we would suggest keeping this in mind as you unearth all the reasons to remain with or leave your friends, work (coworkers), mate, etc. Try to remind yourself that by bringing knowledge to the surface about what you are getting/receiving from your interactions is simply an opportunity to clarify what it is you want and need. This can be approached, first and foremost, through communication. If there is no ability to communicate about what you want/need, then a more definite decision will feel pressured into needing to be made. April through June seems to be bringing with it a couple of potentially strange natural disasters or accidents, including a most devastating tidal wave to a major city. Humans are still not learning the benefit of keeping population down, and with the recent disasters, the Instinctive Centers of many are scrambling to create even more babies as a life-affirming act. This is not good work, but that is a lesson every species will tend to at some point. Until that area of responsibility by a Species is consciously dealt with, the Instinctive will always opt to leave a life, than to threaten the collective Species that houses Essence through a Cycle. When the population of a Species begins to threaten its own survival, then larger groups of fragments exit in more bizarre and unexpected ways. July through September brings some Pragmatism as the “year-to-date” gets examined through the collective Attitude, or perspective. Those who have created a momentum through the year in the negative poles will now take root in their actions with a severely dogmatic approach. If any violence between groups is going to occur on a larger scale, it will most likely be at this time. Last year found the Cynic Attitude coming to the forefront of perception, ironically from the POSITIVE POLE. We remind you that the Cynic sees the OTHER sides of whatever seems to be the obvious. In the recent tragedies and grief, a great deal of “love” and global camaraderie found its way out from the original denigration of a few. We suspect the same may occur this year, as those who are dogmatic will be faced with those who are truly practical in their perspective of the world. This practicality could create systems that work to appease even the most disgruntled. And quickly, the end of your year will come with the continued energy of Impatience (Intolerance) from last year, while Greed is now replaced with Martyrdom (Victimization). Greed cannot work this year, but highlighting all who are victimized and/or intolerant can work with the other energies being generated. We note here that the Chief Feature part of the year does not necessarily mean that energy will manifest, but that it may simply be the issues and fears of the collective that have the opportunity to be addressed. We will discuss more about these Overleaves as the year progresses, but we realize your time is limited with us tonight and we are here to respond to your questions, as well. We also realize we will not be able to address all of what this year has in store with its probabilities, but we can at least provide this basic picture. [nemo-sam] If you can see the future, then can you see the past the same way, if you are outside of time? [M_Entity] Yes, we can “view” the past, but it also has probabilities as much as the future. Depending on your current position within your life, your “past” may be a particular timeline that has elements which are NOT a part of your “original” timeline. Some of our Older Soul students may even have the unusual, but natural, experience of “remembering” TWO or more completely different versions of the same event, even within one lifetime’s memory. This can happen individually and collectively. Time, as it is relative to a Personality, is more like the Personality is continually at the hub of a large wheel of probabilities, with as many “spokes” behind as there are before. “Turn the wheel” and you have a new set of probabilities, past and future. [ShannonB] What is the likelihood of armed conflict breaking out in India and Pakistan this year (in this parallel), and is it likely that nuclear weapons will be involved? [M_Entity] The likelihood is quite high at 47%, though the use of Nuclear Weapons only stands at 13%. Though the conflict could be diverted, we have seen the probabilities continue to move toward stronger, armed conflict. The knowledge of Nuclear Weapons being able to be used is sometimes enough to transform a conflict into negotiation, but in a year of potential rejection, identification, and zeal, the odds are higher that someone, somewhere, will want to destroy, rather than compromise. [Annette] Could you please comment on the economy in the United States in 2002? Will we be financially affected by world events (negatively or positively)? [M_Entity] The economy in the US appears to be on a staggering momentum, creating a constant scare, but never truly plummeting. We see the next year as being similar to the past year, though a bit more intense and anxious. The US is “smart” in its collective energy and though the world may appear to be falling apart at times, a large group of Young and Early Mature souls will continue to generate creative, fun, and meaningful prospects for the country. World Events will actually affect the US in “positive” ways because the US will continue to try to work with all governments in creating a more global “village,” than to simply remain in power. This “global village” concept may make some fragments nervous, but the intent is not an overtaking of the world with a single leader or government, but rather a commitment shared between nations that is geared toward compassion, prosperity, and peace. [MajickKat64] What sort of further terrorist attacks are likely in the US this year, and in what states might they most likely occur? [M_Entity] We continue to state that the Mid Western United States are the most vulnerable. There is still energy indicating several large hostage situations, building bombings, and airline disasters. Fear, though, is far more powerful than a bomb, so smaller incidences to create insecurity and panic seems to be the decided method, such as the poisoning of a small town’s water supply. Though this kind of action would be contained and diverted rather quickly, it can be a powerful method to create fear. Even our mentioning of it could do the same, and that is not our intention at all, but this is how powerful these images are. New York City and its mass transit and strong communications are still vulnerable, along with Chicago, and San Francisco. Please note that we are responding to your question, we are not predicting. These events have not come to pass, nor are they inevitable. They are the probabilities that have remained consistent and we share them because we are asked. They are not shared to create fear. Some of you already know this information as your intuitive selves can feel the validity. [Leela] In what country/city is this tidal wave a possibility? [M_Entity] Japan is most vulnerable, though areas south of Japan might be more involved, along the coasts of China, around Shanghai. Alternately, India has a high probability, as well. Either would be created from a devastating earthquake along a fault line in the deep sea. [MajickKat64] Ok thank you, will you briefly comment on the success of the new EURO? [M_Entity] This is one of the more innovative and practical steps toward the sharing of resources and values equally. This is a mature soul concept that will continue to struggle, but only in terms of its understanding. We do believe it will remain and the concept will spread to the US, as well. As more and more of the world thinks Maturely, so will the unifying means of exchanges. In most of your futures, there is a common currency across the planet, as well as a common clock. We will also note here that a great deal of your most positive changes in the world probabilities will come from Early Mature and Late Young Souls as they are both still quite aware of the material world, while striving for peace and equality. Striking that balance as a move forward for your planet is no small task, but one that is helped along when communities seek to understand the proposed changes and benefits. Good Night to all of you.
