OMW - Jun 15, 2012 - Tending To your 7 Basic Rights Troy Tolley, Channel [MEntity] What we are asked to discuss today is rather vital to the health and well-being of a lifetime of incarnation, and is fairly directly hooked into the capacity for Personality to Manifest Essence for any extended period of time. For the sake of clarity, we will state here that while Chakras and Centers have resonance that can draw meaningful and relevant correlations, they are not the same system. Chakras are inherent energy management systems of varying complexities that are formed by bodies as a means to sustain form of some kind, whereas "Centering," in our teachings, while referencing Chakras, describes one's "center of gravity," or how one navigates the physical plane while in the body. Primary Centering is how one takes in the world around the body, while the Part is how one tends to emit themselves back out into the world. So while one may have Emotional Centering as a form of navigation, this would not necessarily mean that one has a strong or emphasized Heart Chakra, for instance. Nor would it mean one has an underused or de-emphasized Heart Chakra. We point the difference out here because there are Correlations and then there are Resonances between the systems, and they are not consistent with each other. We will not get into those differences here, but it will be important not to draw tight parallels between the two while exploring both systems, as they are, indeed, different systems. For today, we discuss the Chakras, and if we draw parallels to the Centers, it would be relevant in that context, but not necessarily in another context. The Chakras, then, are the connecting portals between Essence and Personality, or the Essence and Bodies. We speak in plural of the bodies, as there are various layers of the body that vary in density and function, and these bodies are the parts that bring the whole to "life," but each body, or density, could function on its own. Each body has a different experience of time and space and dimension, and each has a different emphasis of management for what and how to share with Essence, and each may have a different agenda, different wounding, different version of history, etc. And each body is in charge of fulfilling its own "right." We are speaking of these bodies as delineated, only for the sake of convenience and comprehension, but they function seamlessly and as a whole. It will not be helpful to think of these as separate, except insofar as it helps you to first grasp this particular topic. In other words, in much the same way that we could speak to you about how your fingers function as very specific tools as compared to your arms, they do not function without each other, and to focus on one over the other would be pointless. In order for Essence to experience the various Planes of Existence, there must be bodies. Essence, alone, has no bodies, no form, no location. As Essence is FIRST Cast from Tao, its most amorphous "form" is actually something more like a recording device: the Instinctive Center, or what would become the Root Chakra in a Physical Body. This is because Essence is actually "formed" from the Akashic Plane, which, in itself, is the only "plane" that is not a Plane. There is no incarnation or processing through that "plane," as it is only a memory bank and probability generator. This Instinctive Center is inherent in ALL that is Cast from Tao, which means that if it is "not" Tao, then it has an Instinctive Center, and if it is on the Physical Plane, no matter what it is, there is a Root Chakra, at the very least. In terms of Rights, then, this would be the very basic Right To Exist. Once a portion of energy is Cast from Tao, it is "forever" its own thing. We know of nothing that has lost that Right, regardless of form, return and exit from Tao, etc. It would be important, here, to define what we mean by "Rights." We mean the term in much the same way that it is already understood. These Rights are those qualities and states of Being, Having, and Doing that are fully guaranteed, inherent, and due. Once one is Cast from Tao, these Rights are permanent. For example, there will never be a "when" that you do not Exist. It is permanently your Right as Essence. In much the same way this works for Essence, this Right is inherent in its own creations, as well. So the Personality is always "born" from the memory bank and probability generating Instinctive Center of Essence, and cast with the very basic Right To Exist. This means that "you," as you know you, will "never" go away, even when "you" die. The form may change, the identity may evolve, and the attachments will wane, but the "you" that is you, cannot be undone. This is why we use the term "fragments" as both a reference to your Essence as a part of its higher contexts, but also in reference to the Personalities that exist as parts of an Essence. Essence is a microcosmic Tao. This Right to Exist translates into the individual Personality as its Right to its memories and its capacity for generating probabilities. In short, its Right to Choose. The capacity for choice exists in every known form, even if the contexts for choice are relative. The parameters of choice for an atom, a rock, or a chicken are very different from the choices of a Personality. The parameter of Choice of a Personality is very different from that of Essence, as well. This does not undermine the capacity for choice, though. One way of understanding this is to consider the choices necessary for a fighter pilot to make versus those of a housewife, or the difference in parameters of choice for a child in kindergarten versus those of the college graduate. These are not limitations imposed, but simply contextual. Your Essence must make Choices that a Personality will never have to face. And Personality must make choices that Essence would never have been able to make on its own. Grand Cycle after Grand Cycle, lifetime after lifetime, the Instinctive, or Root Chakra, is the only element carried forth, over and over and over. It becomes multilayered, as each Grand Cycle "stacks" a layer upon a layer so that there is no bleedthrough, and so that there is a fresh layer for recording, but those layers are always accessible by Essence. All other Chakras are new and relative to the Grand Cycle. That is because these other Chakras become the means by which the recording of experiences are funneled to the Instinctive. And those Chakras must be relative to the systems in place for that "universe." As no universe or Essence can be in existence without inherently owning an Instinctive Center, or Root Chakra, this is the only one that is at the root, if you will, of any existence. It is a misnomer to describe Essence as "owning" this, as Essence is, essentially, the same thing, but the same could be said of a Personality in relation to Essence; we delineate for purposes of understanding the parts that are the whole. In the same way that the developing Chakras relative to a Grand Cycle become the funnels for recording experiences to the Instinctive Center, so are Personalities within a specific Sentience funneling experiences to Essence. The first Chakra, then, that is developed, is that which allows for location. That would be the Second Chakra, or the Sacral Chakra. This Chakra is the first form of differentiation within a universe. This is not the same thing as separation. It is the capacity for form within form. Thus, it is also the Chakra of Creation. Because this is a Chakra that allows for location and form and creation, it is also the first body that "feels." Form within Form allows for intimacy, unison, oneness. We describe the Highest Plane, which inherently has these qualities, as the Buddhic Plane. This Right is vital for the use of Existence. It is the capacity for Existence to have location, and to create form. Everything "feels," then. Everything. However, what is often thought of as "feelings" are not the same thing here. Having the capacity for form within form means being aware of the self in relation to something else. All matter has that capacity to some degree. We refer to it as Consciousness. A rock, flea, and chicken have a consciousness just as your Essence does, and "you" do. The capacity for choice determines the capacity for Consciousness. A rock has a very different parameter of Choice from a chicken or a Sentient Human, so there are varying degree of Consciousness involved in each. However, for an Essence to ever move into a Sentient Species, it must evolve though all of those parameters of choice, or degrees of Consciousness, before considering Sentient exploration. Before doing so, the first "form within form" or creation of Essence is its formation of Entity, Cadre, and Energy Ring, etc. This is its first experience of location. And this is done through "feeling." Every Essence, then, could be said to "feel" its way through the universe to find its Entity Mates, old friends from other Grand Cycles, and the formation of what is the actual "Casting" begins. "Feeling" here, then, is the inclination toward the organizing of patterns, or the creation of harmony and resonance. When this is carried into a Physical Lifetime, or a Personality, this Right to Feel translates into your Right to Intimacy, to Creativity, to Pleasure. The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 6th Chakra, or the Brow Chakra. This is first time that "Time" begins to be experienced. It is often said that "time is an illusion," but that is another misleading cliche. "Time" is simply a term that describes the organizing of experiences. Time for Essence is very different than Time for Personality, because they organize experiences very differently. Time for a gnat is very different from Time for a rock for the same reasons. This organizational capacity must be in place early on, if you will, so that experience can be funneled into Essence in a way that can be comprehended, for that is the "entire point" of Existence. In terms of Personality, this Right is quite similar, in that it is your Right to see beyond any circumstances, beyond the self, beyond the moment, to dream, to imagine, to be visionary, etc. The next Chakra that is developed, then, is the 7th Chakra, or the Crown Chakra, as this is the means through which Essence will comprehend its experiences of existence. It is the Right to Evolve. This is inherent in all matter, as well. The Rights to Exist, Feel, Dream, and Evolve, then, are inherent in all matter or energy. There are better words that may be considered, but this is a fair enough reference here. Yes, even Rocks have these Rights, at least in terms of the energy and matter that is the Rock. However, something very different begins to happen for those forms of Consciousness who choose to aim for exploration in Sentience (and not all forms of consciousness aim for that). The Chakras, or Rights, that we have described so far are the Rights that come from the very nature of energy as representative of Tao, and this gives all a vast range of exploration in form throughout that universe, since all matter would inherently have these Rights, or portals/chakras. Entire Entities and Energy Rings can then exist as mountain ranges, weather systems, herds of animals, insects, birds, amoeba, fish, water systems, etc. or whatever other terms might be used to describe the planet of interest that may house a candidate species for sentience. All of the Rights inherent in Essence are carried through those forms and implemented in ways that evolve the planet and its species and life forms. Nothing in existence was formed in matter without some consciousness involved in its coming into that existence of form. Nothing in existence of form is evolved without the consciousness that is experiencing that form and its parameters of choice. But what makes Sentience so unique is that it learns to use the inherent Chakras of the denser bodies, and turns those into an extension of Essence Rights. In the exploration through the Physical Plane, there comes a time when the aim for Sentience includes having the Rights of Essence represented through the bodies of that Plane. The first of these to be established is the 3rd Chakra, or the Right to Move, to Change, to Be Free. This tends to prompt the evolutionary chain of events that lead to the candidates for Sentience much later. This is because the Third Chakra is the Second Chakra, made Ordinal. Or, in our terms, the Moving Center begins being used for manifesting the Higher Moving Center. This 3rd Chakra, then, is developed in anything that can move or grow in form, and that Right will exist for anything that can move and grow within the Physical Plane after that Chakra has been developed for that form. Again, at least in terms of the consciousness exploring that form. In a Sentient Species, this Right continues as a similar Right. It is the Right of the Personality to make its own choices, choose its own actions, choose its own directions, grow in its own way, be free on its own terms, etc. The 4th Chakra is developed among species whose wiring has evolved to a point where it can become aware of itself beyond itself. This is not the same thing as self-awareness or Sentience, but a kind of empathy, and an awareness of Time, and a capacity for learning. In non-sentient Species this would be the Right to Nurture, to Care, to Empathize. In a Sentient Species, this becomes the Right to Love. And then the 5th Chakra is developed and explored through species who have gained the capacity for language. This becomes the Right to Communicate in non-sentient species, and becomes the Right to The Truth in a Sentient Species. By "language," we do not mean speaking English, but some form of complex symbols in sound, body, or other form that allows for the transfer of ideas. This 5th Chakra becomes the practice portal for the use of the 7th Chakra of Essence. As an aside: We will not go into detail about the Kingdoms that were developed and then explored on this planet by Essences aiming for Sentience, but we can say that, while this planet was explored by our Design of Sentience before choosing a different planet, and because our bodies were "moved here," many fragments within our Design are wholly unfamiliar with the the Kingdoms here, and therefore have evolved over time with a gross lack of concern for the Rights of the creatures who evolved here. What we have shared with you so far has been an overall picture of these Rights, why they are called Rights, and how they came about. When a species shifts from non-sentient to sentient, it tends to be because of the capacity for that species to not merely be experienced by Essence, but to represent Essence. [GeraldineB] Is this the basic reason that taking a sentient life requires karma to expiate it? The right to life? [MEntity] To some extent, yes. And that is because it is very different to experience a Physical Plane through a form, versus AS a form. We will point out here that before there is an incarnation as a Sentient Species, there is no 3rd, 4th, or 5th Chakra. But once locked into an incarnational cycle as a Sentient Species, that Essence is then locked into a path back to Tao that will require the full exploration of those Chakras AS ESSENCE, which means a process through not only the Physical Plane, as represented by the 3rd Chakra, but the Astral Plane, as represented by the 4th, and the Causal Plane, as represented by the 5th. It is important to understand the greater context for these Rights and the Chakras, but for the point of this workshop, we will now point you toward the ways in which you can use this information on a daily basis so that it is meaningful to "you" "now." [Janet] Do you mean before there is a plan to experience sentience there is no 3rd, 4th or 5th chakra? Earlier you said it was necessary to experience nurturing as non-sentient. [MEntity] Janet, those Chakras are developed as inherent in the species being explored, but only upon Sentience do they then become a part of Essence. That is because, when exploring the Chakras through non-sentience, they are stationary, if you will, in that species, but once Essence is exploring Sentience, those Chakras rise out of the Instinctive Center that is "inserted" into every body of each life. This is the difference between being a fragment that is Sentient, and being a part of a Hive Soul. Those stationary chakras act as portals for the exploring consciousness of that species. That species becomes like a hive of portals, or Chakras, through which various Essences, Entities, or even Energy Rings explore, diving in and out, etc. In Sentience, however, the bodies die without the consciousness that holds them together. To continue: In exploring your Rights as a Personality that is representative of Essence, and having all of the Rights that are inherent in both Essence and Personality, it will help you to understand one simple question for assessing what Right you are either blocking, ignoring, or undermining: What makes you Angry? Anger is the means through which bodies develop the capacity for alerting itself to the violation of Rights. We are using the term "anger" here because it is the most obvious, but anger is another term for helpless, and is the underlying factor in sadness or depression, as well. [Bobby] no offense taken [MEntity] If it helps, then, one can ask, what makes me sad? what makes me depressed? what makes me feel helpless? Most of what makes one helpless, sad, depressed, or angry is relative to one's capacity for fulfilling one's own Rights. None of the reasons or causes are relevant for anything other than your own process of awareness, as there are often limitations in what one can do to change the what, or the who, or the when of anger. [Maureen] How does the “Right to Life” or the “Right to Exist” play into being a Carnivore vs a Vegetarian? Do Humans have more “rights” than Animals? Do Animals have more “rights” than Plants? Is there a pecking order? (no chicken jokes here ) [MEntity] The point would be in helping you to understand how you can bring more fulfillment and flow to your Chakras, or Rights, to help you to Exist, Feel, Grow, Love, Communicate, Dream, and Know. No one species has more Rights than another, but eventually, Sentience begins to acknowledge the spectrum of Rights inherent in all form, and makes choices relative to how those are honored. A Sentient Species is the only species with the capacity to grasp the concept of Rights while in form. A factory animal may know anger, sadness, depression, helplessness because it is aware that its Right to Be Free has been violated, but it does not know that it has that Right. On their own terms, the creatures would exemplify their Right to Be Free, to Nurture, and to Communicate, as these are inherent in the species, but they would not know to defend these until they are violated. This is why many species can be enslaved and farmed, as they know only the instinctive defense of the Rights, but not the Rights. [Janet] Michael, my primary source of anger relates to limitation of choice -- in the form of people seeking to impose their beliefs on others via rules or laws and also in the form of individuals mindlessly accepting whatever their church or peer group say is best. I cannot see how this ties to a specific Right or chakra. It seems to affect all of them. Although, given your last statement, perhaps it most affects my right to be Free -- similar to the animals you have described. [MEntity] Janet, when you cannot seem to clearly identify what Right is in violation, what you might want to do is look at or feel where the anger is felt in the body when noting this violation. Where it is felt in the body is often a sign as to what Chakra is being violated. If you feel this in your stomach, or your gut, it may be that it is the Right to Be Free. [Janet] Well, that is helpful. I do feel it in my gut. [MEntity] Keep in mind, however, that while the "cause" may be consistent, the Right is not always the same one being violated. For instance, another time you may find that it is a violation of truth, or the right to the truth, and all of the variations on the truth. This may be felt in your body by wishing you would say something when you end up not speaking up. And so on. [Maureen] Do Plants "suffer" the same distinction then? [MEntity] As for Plants, they only suffer in terms of their Right to Grow. They do not experience suffering in other ways, for the most part, as they do not have the 4th and 5th Chakras developed. [Maureen] Michael -- Then Headaches may represent that your "Right to Dream" is being curtailed? .. and so on? [MEntity] Maureen, that would be correct, though one must be careful to explore the spectrum of interpretation that can be attributed to a Chakra and Right, so as not to become too literal in correlation. For instance, a headache might also speak to the refusal to see beyond one's circumstances, to explore imaginative solutions, etc. When one feels that his or her Rights are obstructed in some way, there is only one solution: YOU. [Maureen] Do Creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras then? [MEntity] Not all creatures have developed 4th and 5th Chakras. Creatures that have developed the capacity for Nurturing have developed the 4th, and Creatures that have developed the 5th have created a means of sharing ideas and concepts. In some way, somehow, you must acknowledge that your Right is actually still intact, or find a means through which you can acknowledge that it is implemented. When one feels that his Rights are violated, by the self or by others or by circumstances, there will ALWAYS be a way that those Rights can be fulfilled, or that are already being fulfilled. This is not the same thing as the Rights that are fought for within societies and communities, though these do represent internal battles within various groups. We are speaking to your Rights as Sentience, the combination of Essence and Personality, and these are always intact. We have gone rather long in our exploration of this topic, and we think that we could do well to follow up with more discussion in your Forum where this will be archived. As you explore the concept of these Rights over the next weeks, we can respond through Troy for further discussion about your questions and experiences. We must conclude here for today. It has been a long journey to Sentience, and these Rights are yours. They will be intact with or without your acknowledgment, but to acknowledge them, and occasionally manage your way back into that acknowledgment, can have profound effects upon your capacity to choose, and to be conscious.
OMW - Jan 15, 2011 - Doing Vs Being Channeled by Troy Tolley Michael: Hello to each of you. We are here. We will share what we can in the context of "Doing Vs Being" as Troy has titled this exchange. The emphasis in this exchange will be on your Centering, and your Part of Centering, as well as a quick assessment of yourself and your relationship to your life, and then some solutions or tools for fulfilling your intentions. First, it is to be understood that no fragment is without all Centers. There are 7 Primary Centers, which correlate to what you may know as the 7 Chakras. There are more Chakras/Centers beyond these 7, but they are not developed enough during a Physical Incarnation to be of any practical use as a tool, though they are used and active. Those Centers/Chakras beyond the 7 come into more relevant play in Higher Planes. Though Chakra and Center are interchangeable terms for the most part, we will point out that CENTER is very different in meaning than CHAKRA. A Chakra describes the vortex of energy that acts as a kind of medium, gateway, or filter for certain energies. A Center describes your "Center of Gravity," or how your particular Personality has learned to function, be balanced, and navigate through a lifetime. The correlations between Centers and Chakras and the Overleaves can get confusing for some students, but there is a consistent correlation that we will not have to get into today. As the soul ages, the emphasis over the lifetimes moves from Doing to Being. This is not an easy experience to have while in a Young-Mature World. What tends to happen for the older soul in this paradigm is an internal conflict between that Being and Doing. The internal conflict is a begrudging attitude toward the demands of DOING, while walling up, protecting, and nurturing a rather fragile and unstable sense of BEING. [Brian_W] Michael, could you briefly describe your definitions for "Being" and "Doing" to ensure we are all on the same page? Michael: Yes, we will define BEING as a state of self-acceptance, and DOING as the action that manifests/represents BEING. For many of you, there can often be a disconnect between those two qualities so that you are DOING and BEING in very separate or managed dimensions. There are four Qualities of State that every fragment must exist within while on any Plane: DOING, BEING, HAVING, and KNOWING. These correspond to the Axes. Though the focus here is between Being and Doing, we will bring Having and Knowing into the equations that we may share for insight. Before the Old Soul cycles off, it will have found a way to bring resolution to the division between Doing and Being, regardless of any environment, imprinting, society, etc. That resolution can only come from the Integrity that develops between Doing and Being. When that resolution comes, there is very little difference between Doing and Being. The first step, then, is developing the Integrity, which is simply another word for developing Honesty, or bringing in The Truth as the bridge between those two states. Two additional developments MUST be brought into the equation for bridging two Qualities of State at some point: LOVE, and BEAUTY/Energy. In other words, every Quality of State will eventually find union/bridging through Truth, Love, and Energy. And put another way: it is only through the development of Truth, Love, Energy that one can bring Integrity, Pleasure, and Harmony to what one IS, what one HAS, what one DOES, and what one KNOWS. Until there is conscious development of those building blocks of your universe, applied to the building blocks of YOU, those Qualities of State are usually imbalanced, with one or two over-emphasized while one or more neglected. Though each building block is always in effect, it will almost always be through TRUTH that one gets started. In this case of Doing VS Being, then, the first step would be in assessing with as much honesty as possible just how closely those two states are in your life. Is what you DO representative of what you ARE? Is what you ARE nurtured by what you DO? For most of our students, we would say that approximately 25% of the life that is ACTION/DOING actually represents BEING, and that the sense of BEING is starving, so to speak, because the DOING is not nurturing/feeding BEING. This does NOT mean that because you work in a factory and are an Old Soul, then you are not representing your Old Soulness, or that your interest in the latest fashion does nothing for your Old Soulness. This does NOT mean that because you meditate every morning, do yoga at night, and smile pleasantly with pretty thoughts all day that you are honestly representing your Old Soulness, either. So the key here is not in WHAT you Do, but HOW and WHY you Do. The WHAT of your Doing is inherent in the Doing, but the HOW and WHY is the color and meaning of the What. We realize we are throwing out various familiar terms in correspondences that may be confusing, so we will share that now, so you can copy it, and refer to it as we continue: BEING = Inspirational Axis = Emotional Centering = WHO DOING = Action Axis = Moving Center = WHAT HAVING = Expression Axis = Intellectual Center = HOW KNOWING = Assimilative = Neutral/Instinctive Center = WHY One does not have to be DOING the obvious or the cliche as a means to represent BEING, or to have Integrity between the two. The key is in the Honesty between the Being and Doing, which means how much of YOU is there in what you DO. Because YOU are a spectrum, or because your Being is a spectrum, "YOU" will always be in what you DO, so the question must be even more specific: how much of the True You, True Personality, is in what you DO. Here is where things get interesting. Because YOU are in everything you DO, and because the universe is built from Truth, Love, Energy, it is impossible for your Actions to betray your Being. This is not to say that your Actions represent your True Being, but that they ALWAYS represent your Being. In some way. Everything you DO is to serve BEING. This means that even the most begrudging, routine, tedious, and terrifying tasks that you take on are somehow representing some part of your Being. So the process of bringing Integrity to bridge your Being and Doing is the process of examining exactly how what you are DOING NOW represents you now, so that you know just how far you have to go in bringing resolution. The way to do this is to ask yourself: HOW and WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO? This question can be contextualized so that you ask this in the various contexts of your life. HOW do I do my job? WHY do I do my job? HOW do I manage this relationship? WHY am I in this relationship? Or to keep the wording consistent: HOW do I do this relationship? Why do I do this relationship? This questioning can extend into areas that seem to lack Doing, as well: HOW do I NOT do a relationship? WHY do I NOT do a relationship? Asking the HOW and the WHY of your DOING gives you feedback as to where you are with yourself, and thus gives you some indication as to your current sense of BEING. To start this line of questioning, we would suggest looking at the most problematic and the most pleasant ends of your life. Before we move on, we will open the floor to discussion about what we have shared so far, starting with a question to each of you about how his line of questioning might work for you. There is no need for a queue. *****FLOOR OPEN****** [Geraldine] I'm in a fairly content and balanced state right now -- my doing is in balance with my being to a large extent -- I was much more chaotic when younger. I feel that I'm comfortable in my Old Soul late years post-5th IM. Michael: GERALDINE- we would agree with your assessment. The areas where your Doing and Being remain incongruent are specific to when your Doing is Reactionary, rather than Responsive. One way of understanding DOING as a spectrum can be through polarities of RESPONSE/ACTION vs IRRESPONSIBLE/REACTION. [Brian_W] Michael, I wanted to ask questions on how do I study for my important exam, how do I get into a relationship with a young woman that has recently caught my attention, why am I too generous with time and money, but I think the root of it comes down to: "Why don't I have sustained self-confidence in myself and my abilities?" [Brian_W] Instead of asking "how can I piece my family back together," perhaps I should be asking "why do I feel it is my personal responsibility to piece my family back together, when it seems the others only want to fight" Michael: BRIAN - asking the specific questions of DOING when asking your question will help bring some clarity. For instance: "HOW do I help heal my family?" and "WHY do I help heal my family?" This would help reveal insights that can help you then to make decisions reflective of your True Being. [Brian_W] and for my upcoming exam? Michael: Start with the question that might reveal the most insight. In this, it might be the WHY. [Brian_W] why do I procrastinate and allow myself to become distracted... Michael: Brian, we will suggest the means for your own lines of questioning, using an example, but it would be your responsibility to continue that questioning into other areas. If our example is not clear, we will help to clarify, but we cannot and will not do the extended work, of course. [Brian_W] ok [Diane_H] Brian, the bigger question might be: "why are you taking this class?" Michael: Asking yourself "HOW do I study for an upcoming exam?" and "WHY do I study for an upcoming exam?" can shed light on the Integrity there may be, not be, between your Doing and Being. And then you would recalibrate your choices and actions from there. Your first line of questioning would be in the questioning of the HOW and WHY of NOW. [Brian_W] Diane, that one I believe at least began with what Michael has referred to as "the search," and I will have to ask for later clarification on that, as it is true, but I often feel like I'm trying to search for an unknown object in the dark. I know it exists, but nothing else of it Michael: BACK TO BRIAN - the rest of your questions can be addressed in the same way: HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman? WHY do I get into a relationship with a woman? Both being asked in the context of NOW. [Brian_W] Could you explain what you mean by "the context of NOW?" Michael: This would reveal your motivations and your methods, so that you may then alter them to be more reflective of your True Being. "The context of NOW" would be literal. NOW. [Brian_W] oh, okay Michael: In the case of your seeking a relationship to a woman that you do not already have a relationship with, you would be asking of your NOW in the sense of your what your experiences have been up to NOW. HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman is asked not as an instructional question, but as an assessment. As in: how have I got into relationships, up to now? Why have I got into relationships, up to now? Or to keep the wording consistent: how do I get into relationships, up to now? etc. HOW and WHY do I get into relationships? [Brian_W] the HOW is a very good question, the WHY, ... thankfully the answer to that is starting to shift Michael: Let this first line of questioning be revealing and insightful before the more instructional questioning. [Brian_W] ok, thank you Michael Michael: In your case, it might be that the HOW and the WHY might be answered as "HOW I do relationships is eagerly," and "WHY I do relationships is because I want to feel special, loved, and important." Of course, you may have your own responses, but if these were your responses, then you would want to ask if those are honestly reflective of your BEING. The honesty here is VITAL. We cannot emphasize this enough. [Brian_W] Does it all tie back into my self-dep and self-confidence issues? It seems to be the one thing that I am hearing almost screaming into my ears on this one Michael: And by honesty here, we mean that if the answer is YES to the question, then that is not a bad or wrong answer, even if you wish it were not true. If the answer is "YES, I own the fact that my Being right now is eager to be loved, wanted, special, and important to someone, anyone," then that is far more Integrity than the denying of that. And this is key. For every one of you. By HONEST, by INTEGRITY, we do not mean wishful thinking, or idealizing your responses. In this case for you, Brian, if the honest answer were yes to the question of integrity, then you have brought yourself to a state of self-acceptance that transforms your BEING toward a wholeness that would never come from your denying your current state of being. That Integrity then carries forth into your Doing, and the very act of your accepting those current qualities in the self helps to alleviate your emphasis on someone else having to do that work of accepting you, because you now have the foundation. We think we have responded enough to help bring some insight to the questions you may ask of yourself, and will move on to respond to others. [Brian_W] thank you [Diane_H] I ask myself "why" all the time about the big picture stuff (like why do I want to have a healing practice), but when I look at it, there are many smaller things I do in fear mode. And the "how" of what I'm doing seems to be more confused than anything else. I waver between expressing and hiding. Michael: DIANE - we would say that the fearful undertones to some of your actions within your fulfilling more of your Being are because of some of the lesser-beautiful motivations that you have not fully embraced. And this goes back to what we just shared with Brian: that your answers do not have to be beautiful, noble, or glamorous; they need only be honest. "WHY do I have a healing practice" might actually include the response, "because I am more important than I was led to believe I am, and I want to share that importance in a way that proves it." We SUGGEST our responses to prompt your own, but we are not doing the work for any of you. We say this so that you do not presume we are reading something concrete to you. These are merely suggestions; relevant, but not conclusive. [Diane_H] Wow, ok [Diane_H] I was thinking of embracing the fact that I want to be self-sufficient, ie. make money doing it. Michael: What happens when one does not include the lesser-beautiful aspects of honesty is that those remain like cracks in the foundation of our fulfillments. They will constantly need tending, covering, repair, and monitoring, and this can be exhausting. [Diane_H] I hear ya Michael: Yes, Diane, and the lesser-beautiful parts of your honesty in the WHY can help in securing the HOW. For instance, if one wants to use one's healing skills as a means of self-sufficiency, but one has not embraced the lesser-beautiful motivations behind the intention, then that degree of instability is built into the foundation of fulfillment. So the foundation of fulfillment, or the DOING, will be reflective of the BEING AS IT IS. [Diane_H] Way to poke holes in my Arrogance, I like it. Michael: Keep in mind that the lesser-beautiful is alongside the beautiful. To embrace either to the exclusion of the other would be to build upon shaky foundations. So to return to DIANE specifically, it is not that your only motivation is of lesser-beauty, but that it is fair and honest to own every part of your motivation. [Diane_H] So is it accurate to say that whatever we'd like to do, accepting our "higher" or "lower" intentions is the key to fulfillment, and doing it regardless of what imprinting, society, outside forces say otherwise? Michael: Diane, you have just described the difference between True Peace, and True Defense. If your life is motivated by "in spite of," or "despite," or "regardless of," etc, then your motivation is laced with defense. However, the key to the peace is in allowing that, letting that simply be a part of the equation, not something to rise above and escape or make up for. [Diane_H] Ah, ok Michael: TO ALL OF YOU: In short, NO PERSONALITY or ESSENCE has completely noble reasons for what to DO. EVER. [AnnH] lol!! [Diane_H] :) [Martha3] for sure! [Brian_W] hehe, ah, blind idealism for the fail [AnnH] (this realist has always suspected that) [Martha3] I know that is true for me [Geraldine] Well, I know we have "what's in it for me" beneath everything -- didn't realize Essence was similar :) Michael: By "noble," we mean that there is no such thing as selflessness, sacrifice, or any other of the positive poles of the Chief Features, which are held as indicators that one is somehow "higher" in intentions. We can say this because, as we have said in many instances regarding the nature of "higher" and "positive," that the higher or more positive the pole or intention, the greater its capacity for including the lower and negative. [Diane_H] Interesting Michael: The lower or more negative, the more investment in exclusive, conclusive, and/or elusive. Higher is a sphere, where as Lower is a bowl. [Martha3] I like that, good image for understanding Michael: If you can see positive/higher, and lower/negative in those terms, it can help you to see how the movement through life is either a constant emphasis on the fear not to spill what one has put in the bowl, or the confidence in the embrace of whatever is collected and homogenized in the sphere. [Geraldine] Life is a blender [Maureen] :) [Maureen] ribitt [AnnH] This is ringing a lot of bells! [Martha3] yep Michael: Even the Transcendental and Infinite in your history found their way toward representing their Entity or Tao by embracing the totality of their Being and Doing, and building upon that, not in spite of, because of, regardless of, or despite. The one who is referred to as Buddha built upon his ignorance and naivety, his sheltered and privileged life, using it as a means of contrast and choice, rather than as a showcase for shame and guilt as fuel. So, Diane, if you look to the darker motivations of your intent for providing healing, you would find more room for light in your progress, if you will. [Diane_H] Got it, thank you. Michael: This would resolve your divide between expressing and hiding, because you will not have shame or pride to hide. [AnnH] I am content with my finances and security. My intent is to finish my novel this year, but where I have conflict is WHY I do do (I think). I'm conflicted between doing because I choose to and for my job. Being judged. Also problems with the HOW. (I am also content with how I'm approaching losing weight) Michael: ANN - we think that you have gained insight from the responses to others, but we can say some things to you directly regarding your comments. First, the HOW of your writing your novel is not a mystery: you simply must DO it. It is the WHY that holds you back. Asking the question of WHY in the Now, even if speculative, is insightful. "WHY do I write this novel?" may help you to not only focus the content of the novel, but give you satisfaction in the fulfillment. This WHY has many answers, and it is from those answers that you can either stand them all together, or choose one that feels the most motivating. Your WHY has answers that we can suggest as: "Because I can." or "Because I want to." or "Because it would be the most personal and meaningful representation of my doing something that is entirely for and from myself." We think there is insight in the last suggestion. [AnnH] yes Michael: For the most part, many of your WHYs of life have been answers like "because I have to," or "because I need to," or "because I'm expected to," or "just because," or any other number of responses that leave your part of the equation as the most passive part. Writing your novel would be the single, most representative DOING that reflects everything about your BEING that you know is true of you, and the most proactive, active part of an equation you may ever have felt. The fears that undermine your actions are related to the fears of what you may find out about yourself in the process, but those fears are natural and only seeking to protect you from activating an equation that contradicts every other equation that has worked "just fine" for you. [AnnH] When I read that I keep thinking, ah, finally, then I'll be left alone Michael: Ann, that is insightful: it means that part of your Integrity would include the honesty that you are motivated, in part, by the craving to escape the confines of routine and authority that does not support your Being. Or rather, your sense of True Being. Of course, it DOES already support your Being, but only a part of it. For you, Ann, you are the only reason you would not finish your novel, and you are the only reason it will be finished. This is a terrifying process of owning your life in a way that means it is ALL UP TO YOU. And however resentful of your routines you may have come to be, they reflect the part of your Being that does not mind others being available for blame and cause. [AnnH] ouch, yes Michael: Owning that, first, is the acceptance of that darker part of the Being that is there, so that you can get on with the business of being more than that. [Bobbbi3] Much of what I enjoy DOING for myself might appear to be escapist to some. And DOING for others is still rewarding after all these years. [Bobbbi3] Rephrasing: Why do I find so much pleasure in escapism (sleep, dvd's, tv, novels) and also in DOING for others? Michael: BOBBI - you have worked hard to embrace the darker aspects of your motivations and your Being over time, and the very same things that worked to fulfill your need for escapism are now the very things that fulfill your more adventurous, exploratory, and curious self that was always there. [Bobbbi3] How so? Michael: You moved through a state of honesty with the self that has brought integrity to your choices, so that now, for the most part, if you choose these "escapist" activities or non-activities, you choose them because you want to, not because you need to. [Bobbbi3] They seem to bring True Peace. Michael: There is a fine line between ESCAPISM and TRUE REST, or Healing. [Bobbbi3] And much joy! [Bobbbi3] Thank you so much! [Bobbbi3] And I have retired, after all... Michael: The only reason they were seen as "escape" in the past is because you had the impression that you should be making up for the time and space you use up by being alive, so any time time not dedicated to that was seen as guilty escape from the responsibility of proving your value to the world. [Bobbbi3] much imprinting/conditioning Michael: There came a revelation at one point, and one that is still being embraced, that you HAVE A RIGHT to BE, just as much as any other, and that there are no conditions or standards against which any person needs to prove himself or herself in order to enjoy that right. [Bobbbi3] I finally got that from your teachings! [Bobbbi3] Knowing I have a place in an entity in a cadre...I AM! Michael: The same could be said for your DOING for others. In the past, this may have been motivated by your need to make up for your being alive at all, but now it is because it just feels good. It is okay to care enough for others because you want to, not because you need to, and this has translated into even greater care for yourself along the way. [Bobbbi3] Many thanks. Michael: You have a place wherever you are, regardless of any non-physical, intangible place beyond this life. You belong where you are, because you are there. You belong where you wish to be or go, because you want to or need to. There is never a context in which one does not belong, if one is there. BELONG does not translate into SUPPOSED TO BE, however. [Bobbbi3] I see. Michael: For example, to say that a child in an abusive household belongs there does not mean he is supposed to be there. It simply means that, wherever one is, one IS. You are never alone, because YOU are there, and you belong to you before any other context, which translates into the RIGHT TO BE. There is a reason our universe is so fragmented from TAO all the way down to the various sub-personalities of Personality, and of Personalities to Essence, and Essences to Entity to Cadre to Energy Ring, etc. Because there is never a dimension beyond Tao wherein one is alone. The most-isolated fragment on the planet still has "himself," whether that be a sense of division within the self, or a sense of self and Essence. The craving for wholeness comes from that vast fragmentation, and the embrace of your dimensions, or fragments, is the process. The process of return to TAO. [Bobbbi3] Alone is the worst feeling. Michael: Alone is a natural feeling. Loneliness, however, is a distortion of Aloneness. Aloneness is a part of every fragment's evolution, however, loneliness is not necessary. To return to our simplified imagery, Aloneness is the sphere; Loneliness is the Bowl. [Bobbbi3] Right! Michael: No fragment can get to know himself without Aloneness. Aloneness is the opportunity to like yourself, care for yourself, be yourself, etc. Loneliness is the rejection of that opportunity. [Bobbbi3] I really do see that. [Bobbbi3] Now. [Bobbbi3] 8) [Martha3] My intent is to finish my screenplay, with the goal of being able to leave my corporate job, and I am concentrating on being myself as much as is feasible in a corp setting. Problem areas are in getting my teenager to handle her responsibilities without having to fight over it. She wears me out Michael: MARTHA - your comments prompt us to remind you that your intentions are greatly motivated by a fantasy solution to many problems. [Martha3] :) Michael: The fact that you know this is Good Work. [Martha3] Prince Charming isn't coming with a winning lottery ticket? Michael: What you do with what you know is important, however, so it is helpful for you to occasionally check yourself in terms of how much pressure you are putting on your creative efforts to be your "ticket out." Knowing that this is part of your motivation is healthy, but to forget that you are also doing this because it is simply what you love to do may undermine your energy and efforts. [Martha3] good point Michael: The same could be said for nearly every other demand upon your energy: you do most of it because you love. That is not the same thing as "love to do it," but because you LOVE. Your exasperating and exhausting time with your child is fair to describe as something you do not love to do, but that you do because you love. [Martha3] yes Michael: This is one of those finer examples of the lesser-beautiful and beautiful being embraced, rather than one or the other defining the DOING. Your BEING is reflected in your DOING, and the WHY of your Doing is because you LOVE, or try to love. This is often forgotten. [Martha3] not sure I completely understand what you are saying Michael: Though we see you have moments of sudden, emotional clarity that bring tears to how much you do love the ingredients of your life, even as you work hard to move them into higher ideals. As we said for each of you, your DOING either REFLECTS YOUR BEING, or your BEING is manifested in your DOING. As one grows in consciousness, the Doing moves from reflection of a part of your Being, and into manifestation of your True Being. So when we said that your Being is reflected in your Doing, we mean to point out that what you do is reflecting your Love, and knowing this is important to your then moving toward wholeness. That wholeness would be the acceptance that what you do (that you do not want to do) is reflecting your capacity to love, so that when you then do what you love, such as your screenwriting, you are fully present, instead of thinking it is only to escape what you (think you) do not want to do. [Martha3] I understand [Maureen] I think I'm 'kinda' where Geraldine is at - sort of - I have some days that are better than others - but generally I am so much better than I used to be at Doing and Being that it is hard to know what I could specifically be changed. Michael: MAUREEN, we would agree with your assessment. One of the last areas for you to let into the wholeness is the tendency toward self-consciousness, or self-monitoring. Sometimes this takes you away from the experiential and into a kind of autopiloting. A heightened awareness without a complete connection to the vehicle, much like driving from point A to point BE, but not remembering the trip. That was a typo, and not a clever pun on our part, by the way, but it works. [Maureen] :) Michael: But this is minimal, Maureen, and we mention it only for the sake of suggestion. [Maureen1] How do I move away from 'auto-pilot'? Michael: MAUREEN, by embracing it. There is no other way. By this we mean that you first know that it is happening when it is happening, and then decide from there whether it is something necessary for concern. Using the analogy of driving from point a to point b, was it really necessary to see the view along the way? Did you arrive safely? Did you tend to anything along the way that was important, such as avoiding a crash or taking the correct turns? Realizing when you are on auto-pilot is one thing, but then you can decide whether it is necessary to be present, or if it is okay to tune out to other dimensions along the way. It is not the autopilot that is the dividing factor, but the self-consciousness that might come from it. The self-consciousness can move to self-awareness when the conscious decision as to whether you want or need to be present is then made. Sometimes your presence is important and you will not want to afford a self-consciousness, and other times your presence can be fragmented into various tasks. Letting that become your choice is the step toward wholeness. [Geraldine] Inserting this for AFTER Maureen. First, I do not see a question posted by Nicholas aka baby-love. And, then as a final question, I would like to ask on behalf of Troy if there is anything you might offer him in terms of his doing versus being with regards to his underlying issues that might be causing his scheduling problems. Any comments that might help him with his intention to get on track and stay on track. Michael: GERALDINE, we think an entire session is in store for dedication to Troy's questions, and questions for Troy, so he will schedule this with you where we can then focus on the issues of interest. [Geraldine] Thank you Michael: Before we move on, what would Nicholas like to say? [baby-love] I am fairly content w/ the areas of my life right now in terms of BEING and DOING...as I am moving through my 4IM, I find that I am re-discovering my BEING and what DOINGS support my new clarity [baby-love] My intention this year is to move to San Diego...the WHY of it, is to be nearer to my ET, Viktor and the ocean:-) [baby-love] I guess I don't have a question other than what tools do you suggest can help me to continue lessening the gap between my BEING and DOING? Michael: NICHOLAS, the WHY of your intention also includes "because I deserve this." The concept of DESERVE is important here because this is another example of RIGHTS. [baby-love] and I want it! "I have a right to live wherever, with whomever, and however I choose and want." Michael: This is because so much of your life, up to the point of your dive into the 4th Internal Monad, was spent guided by SHOULDS, and now you are guided by COULDS. [baby-love] yes, indeed! [Brian_W] so its okay to admit selfishness and wanting something, as long as we keep in mind that getting it is another story? Michael: BRIAN, it is always "okay" to admit to selfishness, but we point out that while there is never an act that purely selfless, it is not always selfish. Selfish and lack of Selflessness are not the same thing. Selfish, in this context, would be a state that might include "regardless of; in spite of; despite;" etc, whereas lack of selflessness simply means that it is okay to admit that it makes you feel good, that you want it, that you gain by doing it, etc. It is "okay" to admit all of that. Admitting that your most selfless of acts actually feel good and that is why you do it, or admitting that you are partially-motivated by a kind of defiance, are all Good Work. Often, there may even be a mix. TO CONTINUE ON. And to work toward concluding our time with you: As you can see, each of you would do well to examine whether you are inclusive of both the darker and lighter, less-beautiful and beautiful, of your intentions. Some of you have emphasized the beautiful and have dismissed or did not realize the value in embracing the less-beautiful. Some of you have emphasized the less-beautiful and did not think you had a right to include the more beautiful, or the lightness of your intentions. So keeping an eye to your intentions in terms of the whole of their motivations can help you to free up energy for fulfillment of those intentions. In terms of CENTERING, your habitual Centering and PART of CENTER can give you clues as to why you have your intentions in the first place: Every Center corresponds to a BASIC RIGHT of PERSONALITY and ESSENCE. The three Lower Centers tend to be of those that an individual will develop habitual uses. Even when one uses a Higher Center, it can never be the habitual Center. The Higher Centers are not designed to be Centers of Gravity for the functions of the body and personality, but only to be *experienced* by the body and personality. Tears, Pleasure, and Laughter are physical manifestations of the Higher Centers. Imagine life lived in tears, pure pleasure, and constant laughter. In theory, this sounds delightful; in reality, that person is "crazy." Therefore, we will point to the Lower Centers as a helpful insight into your motivations. Your PRIMARY CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most-easily SUSTAIN, which means that even without effort, you work to sustain that Right. Your PART of CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most seek to fight for, to defend, to clarify, and this usually takes effort, or is often challenged. The Center that is least-used is one that you NEED the most, as in, you often forget that this is a Right that is missing in your life, needs attention, etc. EMOTIONAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to LOVE and BE LOVED. INTELLECTUAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to SPEAK or HEAR the TRUTH. MOVING CENTERING = your RIGHT to CHOOSE, or your RIGHT to BE FREE, to take action, or do what you want to do. Looking to your own Centering then can lend insight into your motivations, consciously or subconsciously. For instance, one who is Emotionally-Centered, Intellectual Part, might be one who naturally Loves, finds it easy to love, and accepts that she is motivated by desires to love and be loved. It is a given that this is an important part of life, a Right. The Intellectual Part would indicate that this fragment may find herself in positions where speaking up, saying the truth, sharing the truth, her truth, or being honest, is often challenged, an "issue," a Right that must often be stood up for. It would also indicate that this is an area of necessary refinement so that her truth can be heard, and not just something shouted into the world, or imposed, in contrast to some whose are hidden and unspoken. What this fragment, then, might find as a missing key, or a Right that is not practiced, and often forgotten, is the Right to Choose, to Do, to take Action, to be Free. Looking to the PART can give insight into your motivations, and looking to the neglected Centering can give insights into what key might be brought into the equation for fulfillment of your intentions. For instance, this person would forget that her secret resource is in her DOING at all. That she must DO what she wants to do, in order to practice her Right to Freedom, instead of getting caught up in the battle for only protecting her Right to Speak/Hear The Truth. Do each of you understand and find relevance to your Centering? [Maureen1] Yes :) [AnnH] Yessir. Michael: Keep in mind that these are indications of your habits, not something static, and these may change over time, or in certain contexts. [Geraldine] Yes (but I'm Emotional/Intellectual; so I got a bigger explanation) [Diane_H] yep [Bobbbi3] yes [baby-love] yep, absolutely! [Geraldine] Martha is away for a moment Michael: To conclude our little group tonight, we will synopsize: ONE) clarify your intentions TWO) own the whole of your motivations for those intentions, including the darker elements that may not seem fair or "good." They are important parts that, if ignored, may be your undoing. THREE) What you do ALWAYS reflects at least a part of your BEING, but when you choose what to do, you manifest your True Being. FOUR) Understanding the WHY and HOW of your doing can lend insight into the wholeness of your motivations, and then you can embrace that, or alter it. FIVE) Your habitual Centering, Part of Centering, and neglected Centering (or an easier terminology would be your Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Centering) give great insight, not only into your Intentions, but into your basic motivations for every action. SIX) your Being and Doing do not have to be exclusive Quality of States, but brought into harmony to widen your playground of life. And, eventually, they will be. We know there is much more we could discuss in the context of this topic, but we think this is plenty of food for thought, or for doing, and this is a start. Good evening to each of you. Michael Speaks Live Psychic Hygiene October 8, 2011 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We can begin with discussion about the topic suggested: "Psychic Hygiene" For most fragments, the physical plane is met with some amount of awareness brought to the importance of Physical and, eventually, Spiritual Hygiene, or maintenance, if you will. Depending on the culture, sometimes one is emphasized over another, or both are emphasized, but these two "bodies" are often considered as priorities, either together or separately. Physical hygiene is fairly clearly understood as a necessity in modern culture and civilizations, and while the methods and motivations may differ across those, the effects are still beneficial. Spiritual Hygiene begins to be considered as a result of survival or prosperity. Rituals and practices come into play as a plea in times of struggle, or as a means to explore in times of prosperity. While the variations in Physical methods and motivations for hygiene tend to have the same effects and benefits, the rituals and practices for Spiritual Hygiene do not. Spiritual Rituals and practices tend to be geared toward the beliefs of the individual, religion, or culture of the time, and so do not act as a means of actual Hygiene, but more as a means of manipulation. Manipulation is not a "bad thing" in itself, but there are many who feel that their Spiritual practices and rituals are quite noble and beneficial, when actually they are often entirely geared toward the manipulation of favors, alleviation of fears, or the fulfillment of duties. The reason the Physical Hygiene can be rather consistent in its benefit, while Spiritual Hygiene can be rather inconsistent in effect is because one has immediate impact, and the other does not. Furthermore, the entire concept of "spirituality" is misunderstood as a body in and of itself, or a realm, or a dimension, etc, when it is not. Therefore, the practices and rituals put in place to directly benefit one's "Spirituality" is often lost as if thrown into a black hole of relevance. "Spirituality," or the Spiritual Body, is a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, and those parts are the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. The Spiritual Body does not exist without those inclusions. So if one dismisses the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies for the sake of aiming for some sort of "Spiritual" ascension, acceptance, acceleration, advancement, etc, one is completely missing the point, and has not come to understand the nature of Spirituality. Spirituality is a concept much like that of Nature. Nature is something that cannot exist without all of the forms that make up what is understood as "Nature." To separate out the concept of Nature from its very nature would be absurd. And so it is that one's Spiritual practices and rituals are useless if they do not include or understand the necessity of inclusion of the hygiene for the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. Naturally, then, the aim for Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Hygiene automatically benefits "Spirit," or "Spirituality." This is what we mean by "Psychic" Hygiene: the inclusion of the less-tangible aspects that make up your more intimate bodies; those of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual. Our use of "psychic" may differ a bit from the general definition of the word, but we mean it in the sense of the inclusion of your psyche, or your consciousness, in relation to these Bodies. For instance: most of you know how to bathe your own bodies. This is a task that most of you do weekly, if not daily, in some form, with some of you doing so more thoroughly than others, but doing so, nonetheless. However, often or well you clean your body, we can say with some amount of confidence that most of you do not do so with a kind, thoughtful, loving hand in the process. A routine hand, yes. A thorough hand, yes. A skilled hand, yes. A dutiful hand, yes. And this cleans your Physical Body, but it does nothing for the psychic levels of that Body. By "psychic levels," we mean that there is little consciousness present or involved. All of our suggestions today will be rather simple. They should be rather easy to implement into your daily lives. They are not intended to be a distraction, but a support to your days. Our first suggestion, then, for the Physical Body is to BATHE YOURSELVES AS IF YOU CARE. It is that simple. This is not necessary every time you bathe yourself, but once out of every 4 times you may bathe yourself, include your capacity to CARE in the process. Bring some loving to your body; some appreciation, gratitude, affection. Be there for you on more than a dutiful or routine level. Truly be present in that body you are taking time to clean. However close you may be to somebody else, you will never be as close to any other body than your own. Ever. Bringing that simple shift in awareness to your bathing process is more meaningful to "spirit" and to you than any spiritual practice or ritual could ever be. The Emotional Body is the next-most tangible of all of you Bodies. This is not the case for every person, but for most. If you feel that your Intellectual Body is far more tangible than your Emotional Body, it is not a matter of fact, but a matter of emphasis that you think this is so. Technically, the Emotional Body is denser than the Intellectual Body, and then the Emotional springs from that. Because the Physical Body is so immediately tangible, and the "Spiritual" is of such an aspiration to so many, the Emotional and Intellectual Bodies are the most neglected and abused bodies on the planet. The hygiene of your Emotional Bodies can most often be helped through the use of SOUND. In particular, Tones, or music. Emotional hygiene could do well to take place at least once a month, but as often as you would like. There is a difference between escaping into music or sound, and harnessing it for hygiene. Much like there is a difference between going swimming, and taking a bath or shower. Exploring the tones associated with Chakras, either as vocal expressions or instrumental expressions, is helpful in putting into practice Emotional Hygiene. There is validity to the practice of vocalizing the "all-inclusive sound" of Om. When we say that the Emotional Body can benefit from SOUND, we mean all forms and media of sound, including speaking kind and comforting words to yourself, affirmations, singing spontaneously. The Emotional Body is where the experience of Time is processed, and music/sound is a processing of Time that helps to clean, heal, support, and care for the Emotional Body. For those who are Emotionally-Centered, it may be a regular event to submerge oneself into music or sound, because when one is using that Center as a means for navigating the entire life, it requires far more maintenance and healing, which is why Emotionally-Centered Personalities do tend to develop a far more intimate relationship to music than other Centerings. This is not to say that Moving or Intellectual Centering does not develop relationships to music and sound, but that it is a different relationship, and not one that is born of such necessity as those who are Emotionally Centered. We can explore those relationships in another session. So for the Emotional Bodies, a regular form of hygiene to bring to your every month, or more, is to listen to Chakra-based Toning, speaking kindly to yourself, singing to yourself, vocalizing tones that feel good, etc. And all with an awareness present. For the Intellectual Body, hygiene could do well to be in place as often as one bathes, if not more. The Hygiene of your Intellectual Body can most often be helped through the use of VISUALIZATIONS. There are two important levels of hygiene to consider in this case: One is that every fragment would do well to gift himself with a break from thinking, every day. This is not the same thing as being stupid. Every day, or at least for a few moments as one bathes or showers, the practice of visualizing "nothing" can truly bring some relief to the Intellect. By "nothing," we mean that the focus is on as much space as possible, an openness, such as floating, or flying, being in the sky, among clouds, etc. [Question] Doesn't that require intellectual processes to generate the visualization though? [MEntity] Of course it does. You cannot bathe your Physical Body without using your hands, either. The point is not to escape these Bodies, but to give them gifts, benefits, pleasure, freedom, support. The more one uses these bodies to benefit themselves, instead of being entirely weighted by the processes of living a life, the more those processes of living the life are met with brilliant energy, clarity, enthusiasm, and joy. In other words, your Bodies are not slaves to the lifetime. They are curious, sensitive, fragile, wondrous dimensions of you that are here to explore, not just to endure. The other level of hygiene for this body would come in the form of decording. This is something that can be practiced monthly, or even yearly. This is the practice of using your imagination and visualization to "see" your own back where energetic cords have attached themselves between you and those with whom you are not consciously or relevantly attached. Cording is the process of linking one's Chakras to another for the sake of bonding or binding. When bonding happens, it is usually a mutual experience and these cords are connected to the front of your body, chakras. When binding happens, it is not usually mutual, though allowed, and these cords are connected to the back of the body. All of these terms are not so literal, but they are accurate enough to the reality of those connections that we can use them here. Decording, then, is the use of the imagination to pull or wipe those cords off of your back. Of course, this is all symbolic, but it works when the visualization is applied. We will have to use another chat to elaborate upon the dynamics of Cording, but to begin this practice can often bring sudden freeing of energy and well-being, not only to the Intellect, but to the denser bodies, as well. It may also bring a surprise visit or contact from those who are binded to you in the back, because when those drop, the person who originated the bind senses this drop between you and may suddenly want to contact you, if he or she can. Another daily practice for Intellectual Hygiene would be to put at least one beautiful thing in your most inhabited space so that you can see it, and allow it to remind you to slow the mind, to take in the view, to allow room for your thoughts to come and go, rather than build up. As the Emotional Body processes Time, the Intellectual Body processes Space. As Music/sound is a means of processing Time, so is Visualization a means of processing Space. We think that what we have shared today may be of help for bringing some personal sense of management over one's energy and health of his or her bodies, and to help bring a bit more "spirit" to one's Spiritual Body. April 1, 2004 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS (Online) [Michael_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the requested energy report. As has been explained in previous reports, this period of time will now begin to emphasize the energy described in terms of the “mode” for the year. In this case, it would be PASSION/RESERVE. Over the next three months or so we can see quite a chaotic pattern forming among humans, especially on an emotional level. Many of you who are older souls have already begun to sense this. The emotional climate of the planet will be more chaotic than usual because of the difficulty in reconciling Passion with the Goal of Re-evaluation; combining those energies with the energy of the Sage you will either find profound fun and wisdom in the year ahead, or high drama and high intensity. April through June may bring disorientation and feelings of being “out of synch”, with bouts of overreaction and/or repression. Most of our students will be finding this time as one that will uncover passions that have been repressed. In general, this is a year of revisiting agenda and intentions that have easily been overlooked in years passed. This will mean that an emphasis may come on all the “little things” that have not been experienced or passed over because of more pressing or “important” agenda. Over the next few weeks then, some of you may also uncover the resentment behind your “little things” you are finally doing for yourself. This may easily “throw you off” because it will be old energy being surfaced, much of it having been stored in you from quite early in this life. This may cause a period of non-specific depression or oddly-timed emotional bouts of release. It will be easy for you to assume our report to be a negative report, but this is not the case at all. Beyond the surface of these resentments, repression, and realizations will be the freeing of parts of you that have lacked permission to participate in this life for a long time. And we remind you that these “parts of you” are NOT obviously profound areas. For instance, it may “seem silly” that you finally take time to get a manicure and would really like to have one on a regular basis. It is not the act of having the manicure that is the issue. For each of you this act would mean something different. For some it might be a simple event that makes your body feel included in your appreciation of beauty. For some it may be about the freedom to spend those few extra dollars without judgment. For others it may be the socializing aspect that may come with the experience. The bottom line will be in whether this “little thing” encourages your feeling happy, nurtured, free, at peace, etc. We suggest reminding yourselves occasionally over the next several weeks that it is “naturally” an awkward time energetically. You may find you are clumsier, more forgetful, with electronics, databases, and appliances malfunctioning sporadically and your inner senses feeling less focused. We further suggest you remind yourselves of these three questions: Will/Does it help me be FREE? Will/Does it help me be HAPPY? Will/Does it help me be INSPIRED? If you remember to ask these specific questions of yourself when you might normally dismiss a “little thing” in your life, then you may find your energy remaining more balanced. Having a focus and a permission to experience these “little things” will return you to a greater sense synchronicity during this time of re-evaluation. You cannot keep all unpleasant life experiences from happening, and we realize there will always be larger issues, but you can manage to weave your energy throughout your life on a level that will adapt to fluctuations and growth. We will take your questions now. Q&A on E-REPORT [mdfsage] What can we do for folks who are caught up in depression, physical pain, pulling back during this period? [Michael_Entity] Depression is inwardly-directed anger. It is a lack of self-permission to feel or express that anger, and the anger is usually rooted in a lack of permission to experience a basic Right. During the next month or so, it may be a healthy opportunity to gently encourage steps toward some basic Rights one might have deemed “wrong” to pursue or allow. In terms of physical pain, this would require a more specific look at the individual. For people who may be linking depression, physical pain, and “pulling back”, all together during this time, it can be most helpful to ask the individual what he/she wants/needs. This may not be an easy question to answer. It may be of help for you to keep in mind the 7 Basic Rights of any Sentient Being. If you can help bring the experience of that Right to a person who has resisted it, then healing can be profound and quick. Troy will include the details in your transcript. EXCERPT about “RIGHTS”: As you explore your conscious connection to Essence, you will also be heightening your sense of self as a Personality. As you explore your sense of self as a person, you will make more room for Essence in your life. It is a two way street, so to speak. In exploring yourself on either level, it is important to examine your “rights” as a physical being and your expression of those “rights” and/or the damage or interference to those “rights”. For each chakra, or Center, there is a basic “right” that the Personality must have tended to fully embody the Essence. We say “embody” as a convenience, as it is actually the opposite. YOU as Personality are embodied in Essence. You most basic “right”, relating to the Instinctive Center, is your right to exist, or be alive at all. The Right to be Real. This can also be said to be your right to “have”. Your second Center/chakra must be examined in terms of your Right to Feel, experience intimacy, and create. Your third chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to take action, or to make change. Another way to put it is your right to be free. Your fourth chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to be loved, and to love. Your throat chakra, or 5th Center, is your right to the truth, whether speaking it, or hearing it. Your 6th chakra/Center can be examined in terms of your right to perceive, to have vision. This can also be said to be your right to dream, on all levels. And finally, your 7th chakra/Center is your examination of your right to spirituality, or your right to “inner knowledge”. Though we skimmed these, the slightest examination of these areas of your life can be revealing in what Centers/Chakras are not being cared for or possibly denied, thus blocking Essence. They may have also been damaged or imprinted with allowances from other fragments in the life. The three “lower centers” (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are all the most obvious and easily examined on a daily basis. They are the keys to balancing Personality. In fact, these centers can potentially be examined with a degree of accuracy, at least as a starting point, in your translating your personal Centering in your Overleaves. When looking at your Centering it might be said that your primary centering is the Right you SUSTAIN, while the PART of the centering is the Right you “FIGHT FOR”. We remind you that Emotional Centering is your right to feel, Intellectual Centering is your right to speak or hear truth, and Moving is your right to act out or make change. The Instinctive Center is always under examination and use so it is almost always in some form of distortion when without conscious guidance. This is balanced through creating a daily balance among your “lower centers”. The “higher centers” (2nd, 6th, and 7th) are keys to your understanding your connection to Essence. With examination, if any of these centers appear to be limited or distorted through fear or imprinting, it will be your task to incorporate experiences which fulfill that level of your rights, if you choose. END EXCERPT [SilverOne126] Does the feeling of unease (and general frustration) I’ve been sensing in others at work have to do with the build up to this shifting and complex energy period? How long may it continue? [Michael_Entity] It does appear to be linked. There is a general sense of things being extreme, with some hours feeling free and happy, followed by a sense of near-comatose sedation, followed by an unfounded want to cry. We only used those extremes as examples, but there may be many extremes experienced. This passionate, untamed energy is escalating and appears to be “stirring” more into April and part of May. Mid-may will most likely be a shift into more clarity, communication, and stability in the emotions. Old and Late Mature Souls will most likely begin feeling a bit more balanced toward the end of April. We remind you that all of this is uneasy energy is an opportunity to do “good work” in terms of uncovering outdated modes, beliefs, behavior patterns, dismissals, etc. Although appearing chaotic, this energy is prevalent because it is apparently necessary for human growth right now. Frustration will experienced as a by-product of denial. Those who are not making the moments to do those “silly things” may be more likely to have bouts of frustration and disorientation throughout their days. This is not a period of time to be overly concerned with controlling time or space. Those with Impatience and Martyrdom, if severely ruled by these Chief Features, may have the most difficult challenges in remaining calm. In fact, over the next three months one may find those with Impatience and Martyrdom being louder, more demanding, and more exasperated (and exasperating) than ever. For those with Impatience and Martyrdom, we would merely suggest that the next few months are a time where one can “safely” “kick up her heels” and occasionally state, “What the hell…” Let people Be, and let yourself Be. [upstate] like painting a lizard on your wall! [Michael_Entity] And to Lori, yes. If seeing that totem will benefit your space, internally or externally, then it may be time to say, “what the hell…” [Anla899] How do we deal with the fear of doing the “silly things’ like spending too much money? [Michael_Entity] Of course, we do not suggest you jeopardize your physical existence, but if you are remotely capable of gifting yourself or another through the means of money, then the experience will “pay for itself”. Your question does bring to light a very important factor in doing these “little things”: This is your time to experience those things, but some of you may easily use these events as a way to further convince yourself to remain constrained. In other words, you may decide to spend “too much money” and then feel the negative impact, “proving” to yourself that you are not free. We are not saying NOT to “spend too much money”, nor are we saying to be too practical, but we are suggesting that you wholeheartedly do whatever you decide and then be at peace with that decision. The point will be that you ENJOY IT. As a matter of maintaining perspective, most of your little things that you have avoided are not elaborate, complicated, or expensive. They are “little things”. If you are worried about spending too much money of a “little thing”, you may be missing the point. We certainly do not intend to encourage all of you to succumb to periods of chaos within the chaos, but we do state that there is a lack of order right now that can allow for many “little things” to be “fit in” to your days. As a side note: We have noticed that several of our students are feeling a rekindled inspiration to write, sing, paint, or otherwise express themselves. [H2OSprtlvr] When you give an energy report via Troy, is it specific to the members in attendance or for people on the East Coast or everyone worldwide? I ask only because some Michael channelers seem to give energy reports based on the region they reside in.
