ENERGY REPORT August 2014 2014 OVERLEAVES ROLE: Priest (emphasized all year) CENTER: Intellectual (emphasized all year) GOAL: Growth (emphasized Jan - Mar) MODE: Passion (emphasized Apr - Jun) ATTITUDE: Realist (emphasized Jul - Sep) CHIEF FEATURES: Impatience (emphasized Oct - Dec) AUGUST continues emphasis on the Attitude of REALIST. Reading July’s report is relevant in August, as well, but rather than approaching a state of Realism, most would be “in” that state by now. “Reality” would likely take on a bit sharper of an edge, more focused a vision, more direct a line of sight. For some, this may feel like pressure, for others, this may feel like a sense of clarity. A fairly serious mood looks to be in place for August, both in personal terms and worldly terms. Many of our students appear to be in pivotal or turning point vectors regarding some layer or level of their lives, and this is the case on a larger, collective scale, as well. This is not an ominous report, but a normal process that comes around on a fairly regular basis. Sometimes these come around in ways that are more collective than at other times, and this is one of those more collective vectors. If your experience of the Realist state is feeling pressured, it would likely be a matter of your simply having to make a choice, or focus in a direction, that you feel uncertain about. Considering the Chief Feature of the year, Impatience, it is likely a matter of your feeling you should already be ahead of where you are, having procrastinated, vacillated, or evaded the responsibility that might come with the direction. There is no validity to your concern that you should already be where you may wish to go. Your worry, your pressure, your uncertainty is a natural indicator that there is work ahead, and if you choose that direction, you can and will do the work. You can help relieve the pressure by simply taking a step, and then another, and another. There is no need to measure based on an imagined endpoint, but only on the next step. The imagined endpoint is fair to uphold as a destination, but you must still do the work of getting there. If one were driving from New York City to San Francisco, it would make no sense to use the map local to San Francisco. This is true of your life, your visions, your goals, as well. Use the map local to you. DATES OF INTEREST Aug 04 - 07 -- ENERGY SHIFT - Hyper Focused - This energy shift looks to be a shift into even higher “Male” or “focused” energy than has been experienced in a while. For those who are higher in female/creative energy, this may not feel so pleasant, but it can be used to their advantage by taking on tasks that require this kind of focus. It may not feel pleasant, but only because it is unfamiliar, not because something is wrong. For those who are already high in male/focused energy, this may be a particularly sensual, stimulating, and eager time, with the body in a heightened state of reception for pleasures. This can feel distracting, but it can also be used as a means to sense the directions in which your pleasures truly lie, listening to your “gut,” and considering your happiness as a factor for choices. Aug 25 - 30 -- MAJOR NEXUS - Convergence - This may, or may not, be on an obvious scale, but it looks to be several days wherein parallels converge based on similar realizations on a larger scale than usual. We think this is related to global conflicts, but it could be environmental, as well. In personal terms, we think this would be regarding internal conflicts and indecisiveness regarding commitments, direction, etc. A balance would likely shift so that one direction or another would take emphasis. The more consciously this choice is made, the more likely it would be a direction that is of personal or global fulfillment. The more this is left to entropy, the more likely it would be in a direction of necessary breakdown and rebuilding. HELPFUL THOUGHTS OVER AUGUST: USE YOUR LOCAL MAP - When measuring your steps along the way toward an envisioned destination, it is important to pay attention to your current steps, not compare yourself to the destination or ideal. The more you pay attention to your local steps, the sooner and more directly one can reach a destination, all while being open to any diversions that might actually add to the depth of the experience. CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT - If you are concerned about a choice or direction, you must choose the direction you want. You know what you want. To pretend you do not know what you want is to presume you cannot have what you want. You will gravitate toward what you need no matter what you choose, but choosing consciously in a direction you want helps clear a path to what you need, as well. Even if you find that your choices are limited, choosing what you want from within that range can help you to broaden that range of choice.
