  1. NWM - Feb 20, 2016 - Accepting Death Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to speak on the acceptance of death. We will speak to this from both the approach toward your own death and the deaths of others. For most, the experience of death is associated with loss. There is validity to this, but today we will point to some greater truths about death that allow loss to be a PART of death, and not the definition of death. Before we begin, we would pose a question to each of you. With as much honesty and as much stripping of romantic notions as possible, would you consider yourself afraid of, confused by, unaffected by, welcoming, or curious about death? (choose one closest to your usual feelings/thoughts about it) Janet: Curious Bobby: Same, curious PeterK: Confused DianeHB: Curious and a little afraid Maureen: Curious and Afraid (of others dying - not me). Colleen: Sometimes afraid of it such as worried about waking up in my coffin. Maureen: If that is a question ...cremation is the answer. :) Colleen: No, I don't want to be burned up. Maureen: I'm changing my answer to welcoming rather than curious. That was not a test question, but a prompt for a baseline in exploring with us. What we will do is speak to the acceptance of your own death, first, and then the acceptance of death of others can be extrapolated from there. First: you will die. Death is a universal experience, a universal Truth. It is universal in the sense that Death = Transformation, and transformation is a result of evolution, and evolution is a momentum throughout the entire universe and beyond. Death can come in many forms across the universe, but death cannot be escaped. Death exists as a part of the dynamic of the universe and beyond, so that even universes "die." From the perspective of Personality, this can look like loss and "the end." That is because the Body is designed to avoid death. It is designed to extend the experience of living in a body for as long as it can. It is an unconscious design because it is anatomic, or put another way, it is an inherent choice that need not be made on a daily basis because the fact of having a body means that you already chose to be alive. Once the choice is made to incarnate, the choice is made to live in a body. This need not be a conscious choice made every single day or moment, so the body takes on the task to navigate toward life and away from death. This is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center, and a part of all living beings in physical form. This is the most-basic of choices made by all creatures. Most creatures are driven instinctively, or anatomically. The positive pole of the Instinctive Center is Atomic. This is when you learn to make choices that can go beyond programming and "instinct." This is why humans can commit suicide or willingly make choices that override the instinct that would normally keep the body alive. This is not to say that all suicides are conscious choices, but that many are. Whether suicide is a choice or a result of other factors, it is always a matter of overriding the instinct to live. Our point being that death is seen as the opposite of life because of this anatomic dynamic. Death must be understood as the opposite of life until the true nature of life and the universe is understood. If death is ignored and approached with no concern, the quality of life can diminish greatly. This has happened in various cycles of history on Earth. From genocides to witch hunts to manufactured poverty to war, etc. When death is ignored or regarded without concern, it is used as a means of destruction or self-destruction. This is why most fear death, are confused by it, or apathetic to it. If this anatomic sensitivity to death is ignored before there is an understanding of the true nature of life and the universe, the results can be worse than death, itself. We share this with you to help you understand that you fear death, are confused by it, or unaffected by it because you live in a world that has not yet comprehended the true nature of life and the universe. Even as Old Souls, you may have a great sense of the true nature of life and the universe, but when submerged in a world that does not comprehend this, you are bombarded by imprinting that confuses you and has a long way to go toward that understanding. This does not undo your understanding as Essence, but it undoes your understanding as Personality. As an Old Soul you are born with this understanding, but your Personality is inculcated back toward the dependence upon anatomic navigation. You are taught quickly to mourn death, to be sorry for it, to reach out in sympathy and your experiences of death are quickly shown to be painful and deeply horrifying. It is easy to quickly take this stance as your own and remain with it. Even as you Manifest Essence, this is such a deep and instinctive dependency that even the wisest of souls with the greatest number of deaths under her belt can still find death perplexing and upsetting. So today we speak directly to the forgotten core of you who truly comprehends the nature of life and the universe. Maureen: That is making me cry. Understanding the nature of life and the universe does not mean that you will override your efforts to stay alive, but to include that effort as a CHOICE, not a reaction or fearful response to threat. When you function from the positive pole of your Instinctive Center you do not ignore the negative pole, you simply repurpose it. When in the Positive Pole, overriding your Instinct to live simply means that you not only trust your body to navigate away from threat, but that you choose to live. And choosing to live is one of the greatest paths toward accepting death. This may seem ironic, but not when you understand the nature of life and the universe. To clarify what we mean by the "nature of life and the universe:" The nature of life and the universe is change, evolution, transformation. Everything you do aims for these things. Everything. Even your resistance to these. Nothing in existence truly avoids change, evolution, and transformation. Nothing. This means that to understand this means to understand the necessity of death as a version of these very aims. Some say that you begin dying as soon as you are born. This is true, but not in the sense that the life is then rendered meaningless. Quite the opposite. If you exchange the term "dying" with "evolving" you can see why your life is immediately aiming for death upon birth. Understanding the nature of life and the universe is to put death into the same category as a beautiful sunset, a blooming flower, a cocoon-to-butterfly, a great night of sleep, a profound trust in existence. However horrific and painful the death, we are speaking of the death, itself. The path toward death is a separate discussion. Every life has its sunset. Every life blooms and then drops its petals. Cocoons into release and transformation. Requires a great rest/review. It is fair to grieve your lack of access to the Person and Personality who you loved in your life. This is natural. This is separate from understanding and accepting death. If you have experienced a break up of a relationship or a divorce or a failed friendship, you know this same grief. You know that this grief is separate from your acceptance of the truth of the change. You must grieve. Grief is not an indication of lack of understanding. Chronic grief may indicate a rejection of the truth of death, but even this is not indicative of a lack of understanding. Things that are understood can be rejected. We must make it clear that you are not obligated to understand or accept death. You will die anyway. Others will die anyway. And you will continue to cycle through remembering and forgetting. If you choose to understand and accept death, here are some key elements to consider: DEATH IS A PART OF LIFE, NOT THE OPPOSITE OF LIFE. Death is normal. It is not a surprise. You know very early in life that it will come. This does not mean you will not be sad or upset when it comes to others or even to yourself, but one of the primary foundations for accepting death is to stop pretending that it is a surprise element of life. DEATH ADDS MEANING, IT DOES NOT NEGATE MEANING. The fact that you will die does not negate the effects of a life lived. There may have been so much more you wanted to do, or that you know someone could have done, but they will do it. You will do it. The ideas survive. The body is recycled. The fact that death will come to all and even to this universe in billions of years does not make that time meaningless. It makes everything on the other side of death and every life beyond that ever more meaningful. This life means more to you than any life has ever meant before this. And future lives will mean even more. This is not because early lives are meaningless, but that death helps comprehend that meaning of every single day of that life lived. You carry this forward into the next life, and the next. LIVE YOUR LIFE SO THAT YOUR DEATH IS A PART OF IT, NOT AN INTERRUPTION OF IT. One of the more comforting ways to accept death is to live life. To truly live it. To make the choices you mean to make. To say the things you wish to say. To reach out to those you wish to reach. To allow room for others to not be what you expect of them. To allow room for you to fail. To allow room for you to succeed. To play, to experiment, to lay around and do nothing, to be irresponsible and upset and annoyed. To be filled with bliss and love and affection. All of this is life. There is nothing that is not life. To live this means to aim for what you prefer, to navigate through that which you do not prefer, and to embrace all of it as yours. GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION ARE FUELS FOR ENTHUSIASM AND KINDNESS, and these build the greatest bridges between life and death. Expressing and acknowledging all that you appreciate and for which you are grateful helps to fuel your enthusiasm and helps to increase the radius of your kindness. This cannot be stressed enough. The practice of this awareness is quite easy to ignore, and in some cases we know it nearly impossible to extract from a difficult life, but even in the darkest of lives there are moments that can be considered. One need not start a gratitude journal or some other ritual that might reduce the effects of appreciation by turning it into repetitiveness. Simply take a moment as you remember, as you feel it, and hold it for a moment in your consciousness. Let this float from you like energetic spores to share in the world. Many of you make it a common practice to complain, to notice what you do not want, to notice what you do not like, to fight against that which is unfair and ugly, and we can say that this easily becomes 45% to 75% of our students' conscious dynamic. This is not a bad thing. We are merely saying that it is a choice. And that you have other choices. You do not have to stop your good fights, your noticing of injustices, your navigation of preferences and repulsions, but you can lay down alongside all of this the truth of wonder and joy and love of this life. Noticing "the bad" in life fuels your self-karmic dance through life, while a focus on "the good" fuels your enthusiasm, vitality, and kindness. Both are necessary elements, but one tends to be easier to ignore. When the emphasis is primarily on your disappointments, losses, struggles, and on "the bad," then death comes as an interruption that seems to come before you got a chance to live. Allowing room for the enthusiasm, kindness, and vitality lets you fully live so that death comes as a part of life. LIVE FOR MORE THAN LIFE. Live for Joy. Live for Happiness. Live for Love. Live for Meaning. Live for You. Live for Animals. Live for Curiosity. Live for People. Live for more than life. This makes death come as a comma in your existence rather than as a traumatic halt. UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD, YOU ARE ALIVE. Living with a fear of death or a rejection of it can drain you of life force long before death will. So live as if you are alive until you are not. And finally: CONTINUE TO LEARN NEW THINGS LEARNING can sometimes become a passive element in a life that reduces the meaning and quality of life so that death comes looming as an interruption. When you consciously make the effort and choice to continue learning, you are choosing to live not only until you die, but far beyond death. LEARNING is as constant as Change. To hook into the momentum of Learning is to hook into your persistence of existence. You cannot change the fact that change exists. You cannot change the fact that existence exists. You cannot NOT learn. To consciously embrace any of these truths is beneficial, but to embrace and nurture Learning is to embrace all of it. We have spoken to you about the process of death in other exchanges, and we can tell you over and over about the nature of life after death, but today we remind you to live as a path of acceptance of death. You will die. You will live. You will do both. If you die tomorrow, you will want to have known that you lived today. We will open the floor for a few questions: QUEUE IS NOW OPEN Yes, Maureen. Maureen: Michael, is this session today with you, and what we have learned, reference what Troy and I were talking about on January 16th: Maureen: I feel like I'm having to come to terms with death in a way that is "new". Troy: Same here. A new level. Not intentionally, Maureen. But in a year where death will be prominently featured, it is helpful to look at the concept in new ways and meaningful ways that help to bring understanding. Many of our students are finding the necessity to perceive, understand, and accept death in a new way this year. Next, Colleen. Colleen: Could you speak more about exit points? How are these determined? How does a person skip an exit point? How does one recognize that an exit point was avoided? Exit Points are managed by Essence. There have to be Exit Points considered upon creation of a life. This is because death will come. Since this is a fact of life, Essence anticipates various factors that might contribute to "the best deaths" and the timing of those deaths. There tend to be an average of 3 Exit Points set up, and up to 12. These are not hidden from Personality, but Personality does not have the capacity for access to that information or the capacity for processing it. Comprehending Exit Points is the equivalent of "try to think of no color." Every thought of no color is a color. Every effort to consider an Exit Point is redirected toward living, toward life, toward existence. This is because the body is designed to hold its form in matter. YOU may continue to exist, but the matter that forms your physical body returns to the Physical Plane. To consider this is counter to its design to live, to survive. So Essence sets these up and they are coded into the body in various ways that look exactly like life to the body. For lack of a better word, these are fragile threads and dissolve over time. Or they are reinforced, depending upon parameters set by Essence. If the threads are reinforced, they are because the life is collecting the experiences relative to making that Exit Point relevant. If they are dissolving, then that Exit Point is passed. Sometimes one can sense when an Exit Point was passed. These are usually marked by a sharp dive into grief 'for no reason" and then a burst of vitality and focus on moving forward. These are symptoms that can indicate many things, so they are not easy to differentiate from just having a bad day, but some who are sensitive enough and know their dynamic of emotional landscape well, they can sense the Exit Point was passed. DianeHB: What do you mean they are "coded" into the body? in DNA? Diane, the "coding" is subtle energy that is "threaded" in various ways throughout the body. Depending on this placement of threading there is an event triggered. If this is based in illness and aging, then it is in the DNA. If it is relative to a combination of external factors such as disaster, murder, accident, etc. then that thread is part of a network among all involved. DianeHB: wow We will add that while Essence designs Exit Points into the life before birth, Alternate Exit Points are developed through cumulative actions and choices of the Personality outside of that original set. We will conclude with Claire's question. Next, Claire. Claire: "This is not to say that all suicides are conscious choices, but that many are. Whether suicide is a choice or a result of other factors..." Can you elaborate on this statement, in view of the fact that you always stress the importance of Choice in everything? In what way is suicide not a Choice? Suicide will always be a choice, but not a conscious choice. When suicide is seen as the only choice, it is usually not a conscious choice. That is because when awareness is involved, then the range of choice is much clearer. When there is little awareness, or little consciousness, then it may seem that it is the only choice. Claire: Wouldn't that be true of most suicides then? We are speaking here of those who suicide from despair, not from the choice to end a life in a body that is dying. Claire: Yes, those are different. Claire, no. Many make the choice to end their life even as they know there are other solutions. They still make the choice to end the life. When it is thought or felt that there is no other option, then it is not a conscious choice. When it is chosen even as other options are clear, then it is a conscious choice. When suicide is a conscious choice, it is usually not from despair. Consider this analogy: The difference between a sky diver who plummets to the ground and a person who leaps from a bridge is not different in the end, but it is very different in the choice to jump and most of the fall toward death. Both who die on impact will reach the same point, but how and why they got there makes a difference. We must conclude here for today. Good day to each of you. Goodbye, for now.   2. June 21, 2001 Troy Tolley, Channel Open Floor Note: This content has been corrected based on Troy’s acknowledgment of errors on June 26. Although the report is for two weeks, Michael included info regarding a shift in August. [Michael_Entity] Hello. We are here. We will begin with the Energy Report as it stands for the weeks between June 24 through July 7. We will comment momentarily that the energy over the past couple of weeks has built and will peak this weekend, for most of you. We speak in a wider meaning of “you” at this point. This weekend will be a pivotal social experience for some of you. It is suggested that you take part in any events you have been invited to or are considering in any way. We do not wish to infuse any more meaning into this weekend than you, individually, would extract, but the energy is there for this to be a great change in your usual setting. If you are in some way involved in a larger gathering or social event than you have been for a while, we suggest it is in an indication that you are, indeed, considering more of your Needs being responsibly fulfilled. If you are not involved in any events of this nature, it may be simply an indication that you are open to examining the more social aspects of yourself, responsibly considering your personal Needs before exposing yourself to a larger circle. Regardless, the themes over the next couple of weeks are, indeed, about exposure and even further reaching out to other fragments in Agreement, Karma, or any other connection. Many of you older souls shy away from the more “silly” aspects of being “out there,” resigning from indulging in social activities and playfulness. It is not because you do not crave it, but that you feel as if “there are more important things to do.” Even if you believe you are a fairly playful and social person, as our channel here does, we still suggest that there is an opportunity this weekend, and over the next two weeks, to “let your hair down.” Your Chief Features will be highlighted, but only lightly, in relation to how you feel in groups, and as part of a group. August 4 marks your next Parallel Shift; this one focusing on arranging, rearranging, adding, and moving away from people in your life. Any relationships that are not fulfilling to you on at least two levels (out of 4; Instinctive, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical), will more than likely dissolve. Any relationships that have been introduced within this year that are “new” and are fulfilling at least two of your levels (and reciprocated, of course), will more than likely take a serious, permanent turn. We include the next ten days or so as a period of time in “finding” some of the “new” relationships, as well. This does not have any bearing on relationships outside of this context, as anyone met after August will have different contexts and “reasons” of their own. We do not mean to imply anything more or less about relationships outside of these parameters in the Energy Report; we are merely commenting on the nature of the energy at this time. During this Nexus, you will be DIVERGING Parallels, primarily, meaning you will be in a period of potentially obvious Choice Making. Your choices will determine the nature of any parallels created or sustained. We realize choice making occurs at all times, but during a Nexus, there are either MERGINGS or DIVERGENCES, primarily, and with Diverging, there is a heightened sense of needing to consider your choices. While during a MERGING, there is a sense of needing to sleep, wait, exhaustion, etc., as with the previous major Nexus. We will begin with your questions, either about the Energy Report, or otherwise. [MaryBV] Well, it is interesting that you brought this up, because I have been wondering about the nature of the TrueView list now that the membership has changed. Can you comment a bit on the purpose of the list now? [Michael_Entity] The “TrueView” list has several “purposes,” many of them personal to the participants. In and of itself, though, “TrueView” has as its “purpose” to house the elements of your Cadre and Energy Ring who are concerned with this Teaching as it can be applied in the lives of others. We do not mean “apply” in terms of recruiting or teaching it, yourselves, but rather, many of you are serious about how to translate the elements of your lives through the lens of this teaching, and utilize that insight as a means to help others. We have seen a common denominator among those of you actively participating with “TrueView,” in that you are “working on yourselves,” not as a means to only “better yourselves,” but as a means to be MORE for others. Each of you appear to be “touchstones” for many in your contact circle, and whether subtly or more openly shared, your perceptions are used as a means to better your relationships, and this extends into helping others with their own. If “TrueView” were to have a “Task,” it could be said to be “to comprehend and embody the importance of being Needed and Wanted.” [ludmila] This changing of relationships you refer to, as happened with people unsubscribing from this list, and still others recently joining, does this mean the agreements have been filled or just changed, or is it that those people who left resonate more to another channeler? [Michael_Entity] Many Agreements were abdicated, while still others simply resonate more to other speakers. Those that have abdicated will find other Agreements to fulfill; those who were left with the abdication will find their second strings of Agreements to fulfill. Agreements are malleable, as you know, and are not Karmic in their fulfillment or abdication, for the most part. Abdication though, does tend to bring out any Self-Karma for examination. The shift in the list you refer to certainly created a wave of self-examination and self-karma, mostly around acceptance and, as we said, the nature of being wanted and needed. [Dewliet] Hi Michael. Aside from what Troy would call “sucky channeling,” what are some reasons for discrepancies in overleaves channeled by different people? [Michael_Entity] There are three facets to a Personality, the Akashic Records (or True Overleaves), the Perceived Overleaves; and the Projected Overleaves. The True Overleaves are just that, the True Overleaves. They are sometimes not understood or agreed with because they do not “match” the behavior the fragment appears to be exuding, but they are the Overleaves, nonetheless. Due to Imprinting, a fragment can appear completely in opposition to his/her True Overleaves. No amount of valid channeling will bring awareness or validation to this fragment or those trying to comprehend them. Perceived Overleaves are the Overleaves of another fragment as they are filtered through your own or a channel’s; it is how YOU see Other. Channeling the Overleaves of a fragment as they are being perceived by those around them can be very freeing and enlightening. This, then, can bring understanding and acceptance for that aspect of them and/or free the Perceived fragment from the confines of the imprinting and bring about the True Overleaves. Projected Overleaves are those being attempted to as a presentation from the fragment in question. Regardless of the True Overleaves, this fragment may have decided on a way of being and behaving that is conducive to certain tasks or images. This does not change their True Overleaves, but certainly affects how they are perceived. Channeling for that fragment or about that fragment can bring understanding and acceptance about the nature of their Ego and self-perception. It can be said that the Perceived Overleaves can shed light on the nature of the fragment as they are expected to behave, while the Projected Overleaves shed light on how that fragment expects to be accepted. ALL versions of the Overleaves are “valid” in their own contexts. Many channels are not aware of these differences as Facets. So, aside from “sucky channeling,” there is this to consider. [Annette] Psychic Sylvia Brown has stated that the soul chooses three “exit points” for its lifetime – possible “outs” in case life isn’t working out and fragment chooses to return, or when fragment feels work is done. Can Michael comment on this? [Michael_Entity] We have seen the average as being 5 Exit Points. We concur other than that minor point. [Liiona24] During last report on Needs, the statement was made that we should watch our reactions and that those indicated where we needed to be doing more for ourselves, if I interpreted correctly. However, some needs appear to be “other” oriented such as Exchange. How is this resolved then, how does one meet a need for “exchange” unilaterally, for example? [Michael_Entity] ALL Needs are only “Other-Oriented” in that they do require a certain circuitry for their fulfillment. What we mean in terms of these Needs as being the individual’s responsibility to fulfill, for instance: if you believe there is no fulfilling Exchanges in your life, then you would seek out more appropriate “circuits.” If you are trying to have a meaningful, deep, emotionally/intellectually/physically satisfying Exchange in a relationship that is not creating a circuit, then it may be appropriate to lose the expectations of that being your source. Exchange is not just about giving something to someone else, but that you are having True Communication on some level. Exchange can be satisfied even in the realms of financial investments, so it is not simply about Other. Their is no way to “unilaterally” be concerned with the Needs of Others, except in terms of what you feel you are comfortable in offering. You will all find your sources and matches in some way. [JNelson] What emotions are goosebumps and the “chills” a physical manifestation of, not counting responses to temperature? Or intellectual manifestations of, for that matter. [Michael_Entity] This could be called “Instinctive Realization.” It is the result of the Lower Centers responding/reacting simultaneously as PARTS of the Instinctive Center. This experience is always linked to “realization” on a level that bypasses all of the Lower Centers, but creates a release in them as Parts in the Instinctive Center. When this occurs, it is safe to say that the very base part of you has resonated to something rooted in fear or desire. Fear may be obvious, but when the realization is in desire, as it is meant here, is in the connection made on a level wherein you had no previous realization that you were “expecting” something of that nature. [ClaireN] Would Michael please comment on the function of the pineal gland and any disorders that it may cause? [Michael_Entity] The Pineal Gland is related to what might be considered your Higher Emotional Center, 6th Chakra, or “Third Eye.” We have seen its function directly related to dreaming, astral perception, channeling, imagination, and true perception/love. It is highly affected by the amount of sunlight, or any light for that matter, that is taken in through the sense of sight, and as the light permeates the forehead. Those who have a block or “disorder” in this gland can tend to have fertility problems, menstruation problems, and inability to have imagination of an optimistic nature, inability to recall dreams, may have depression and sleep disorders. One of the major contributors to the suppression of this gland’s ability to function properly is in the use of what is called “microwaves.” Food prepared in this fashion tends to carry within it “vortexes” of energy that, when integrated over a short period time, can lead to lack of motivation and lack of clarity for a future. The “vortexes” remain in the body, particularly affecting the Pineal, for an average of 7 years. We do not have a term through this channel to more adequately describe that which is transferred through the act of microwaving, but this will do. The “vortexes” collect in the center of the food prepared, in a size approximately equal to a golf ball. Larger ovens preparing larger foods can create collections in sizes up to a tennis ball. Those who are overexposed or underexposed to sunlight can develop a disorder of this gland. Those who are overexposed to what is called Fluorescent lights are susceptible to this, as well.
