    GROWTH

GOAL of GROWTH When Growth is chosen, there is an intention to take on new experiences that prompt understanding in many diverse ways. It is the goal of CREATING MEANING in experience, or seeing how experiences can be turned into meaningful events that contribute to your evolution. Growth is about moving from seeking meaningful experiences to creating meaningful experiences. It is about owning your place in the creation of your life. When in -Confusion, Growth feels overwhelmed/terrified to choose from so many open-ended choices, or she feels the choices she’s making/need to make are senseless, pointless, meaningless. It is all too overwhelming to process, to choose, and above all she doesn’t like the unintended or unwanted experiences she’s dealt. Often then, Growth will just recoil, resist or escape from the consequences of her choices, believing she can’t be held accountable for her choices because she’s confused. To move from -Confusion to +Evolution, Growth must +Simplify what an experience means to her. This is as simple as just focusing down to one or two options, choices or directions to act on, and choosing the one that feels the most relevant, meaningful, helpful. Or it could be about coming to an understanding about what an experience is helping her to learn, what she cares about most, what she’s aiming for etc. In +Evolution, she allows for new meanings to form in an experience/relationship and owns the choices she makes and has the right to make.     ACCEPTANCE

GOAL of ACCEPTANCE When Acceptance is chosen, there is an effort to define the life by including everyone in it, and developing not just a tolerance, but a true acceptance of all choices made by the self and others. It is about saying YES, but meaning it with integrity+honesty (Genuinity) ; moving away from any conditions you have for one to be acceptable, or for you to accept. In -Ingratiation, he forces false acceptance, either ingratiating himself to be falsely courteous, wanting to please, be nice, be liked, bending over backwards, altering himself on your terms to be more acceptable etc. OR he ingratiates you, expecting you to accept, to get him, to forgive, forget, get over it, and say YES even if you don’t mean it. Both are done out of fear, or routine, or even from obligation and pressure(internally or externally). Otherwise stated, he turns to Ingratiation in face of Emptiness or Desperation, and this leaves him feeling exhausted, meaningless and powerless. It is not true acceptance. To move from -Ingratiation to +Agape, Acceptance must +Refine, allowing himself to say NO to that which is not in harmony with him; to stand his ground. But also allowing himself to understand the same stance from others. The more comfortably he can accept him or others saying NO to what’s unacceptable, the more unconditionally (and ironically) he can say YES to accepting more than he has. In +Agape, he brings kindness+acceptance to when he, or you say NO- understanding the importance of clear boundaries and the extent of one’s current parameters of acceptance- and he rises beyond the pressure+obligation he expects from himself, or you to say YES.     Moving Center: Linked to Goal

    [Excerpt from OMW: You and Your Centers] MEntity: MOVING CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your movements, directions, and paths. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates WHAT WORKS and WHAT DOES NOT WORK. This is everyone's means of creating or clearing his or her path through life. It is directly linked to the Goal. No matter what your Goal, in terms of Axis, it is your ACTIONS that create or clear your path to fulfilling it. One cannot fulfill their Goal in any lifetime without ACTION. In Positive Health, this shows up as an evolving capacity for LEARNING. Though learning happens among all Centers, there must be application and implementation for true learning while in a body. Regardless of one's Primary Centering, this Center is where one actually learns, at least in terms of the lifetime. Not necessarily how one learns math or how to raise a plant. Those who are Moving Centered will tend to have greater emphasis on the Goal as their priority for the life. When the Moving Center is in Negative Health, it often shows up for the older soul as AGITATION. One of the most direct means of healing this Center is to apply what one has learned. It is that simple. Keep in mind that this prompt for application of learning can come in the form of impulses, a quiet sense of knowing what one "should" do, and often as your means of handling pain. ... The reason there is a Goal is because it will require the use of the Moving Center in some way, even if one is not Moving Centered. When looking at how you are Agitated, look to your Goal. In most cases, it is directly relevant. It would indicate that you may not be applying all that you have learned. [GeraldineB] I could be self-deluded, but I don't feel all that much agitation with my Goal -- I've gotten quite patient with myself MEntity: Agitation tends not to come unless there is Learning that is not being applied. Agitation is a kind of short-circuiting that indicates the gap between action and experience/knowledge. ... For example, if you you find yourself in a pattern of Agitation with certain "kinds of people," or a circumstance, or relationship, you may not be applying the experiences and knowledge that has come from previous fulfillment of the Goal.
  4. December 3, 2011 OMW: Year Review MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here now. The workshop requested today is that of consciously reviewing your year of experiences so that you may carry with you into the next year that which is of benefit to you, and release that which is not. This process of Review happens on a Personality Level almost-yearly, but almost always subconsciously, and not with a great deal of comprehension. There are various levels of Reviews that happen, as signified by some of the planetary Returns in your Astrology, such as the Jupiter and Saturn Returns, and also by any collective Instinctive Centered Year, or major events and choices in your life. In short, Reviews are happening "all the time" in some form, but it usually takes a major event to truly bring comprehension of that Review. Unless you use your power of Choice to bring a Review into comprehension at will. The Review process that we will discuss today is one based upon your Choice, your willingness. It is a conscious Review. Time periods or recurring events (such as holidays) are excellent markers for taking a moment to Review, and the end/beginning of a year is usually quite significant to most. We will define "Review" here as: the process of awareness, integration and comprehension of experiences. Awareness is the Intellectual recall of experience. Integration is the extraction of meaning from experience, or the Emotional/Inspirational element. And Comprehension is the building from those experiences, or the Action element. What most lifetimes/Personalities tend to do is to leave a trail of experiences that are then gathered up only after the death of the body. The cliche that "people never really change" is based upon this, because most fragments while incarnated in a Personality really do not change in any discernible way, because there is a great lack of Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension of Experiences. Most lifetimes tend to be a series of consumed experiences that do not get fully processed. To put this into perspective: imagine that a lifetime equals 100% Experience. Most fragments, while in a body, are Aware of only 10% at most, Integrate only half of that 10% at most, and Comprehend even less. In other words: 90% of what is gained from a lifetime of Experiences comes AFTER the lifetime ends. A lifetime of experiences over a 70 to 100 year span bringing only 3% Comprehension leaves the Personality at the end of the lifetime feeling quite bewildered with "where the time went," what he or she did with his or her life, etc. If Review were a regular part of the lifetime in Comprehensive ways, or if this were considered a valid and vital part of educational systems, lifetimes would look very different. That being said, it is also a glorious luxury that a Personality is NOT required to Review. YOU get to LIVE. That is all you have to do, if that. It is not your responsibility, nor is it particularly appealing to go into Review on any regular basis during a lifetime. The opportunities are there, and sometimes they are vital (signified most of the time by near-death experiences prompting Review), but they are not required. However, as the Soul Ages, and the Personalities grow more and more conscious during the living of a lifetime, manifesting Essence more and more, the process of Review becomes quite an interesting prospect. YOU want to Review because YOU equals Essence. "You" always equates Essence, but not always consciously, which is the differentiation between "manifesting Essence" and not. Today, then, we will share with you ways that you can Review using tools that are useful as Personality, as well as methods that are used by Essence, usually reserved for after death. Before we go into those, we will first suggest the methods for settling into your Review. You do not have to do these during this workshop. Draw from memory at least 3 significant events of your past year. There are always 3 or more, whether you realize that or not. There a multitude, in fact, but in terms of memory, there should always be available at least 3 with which will come to AWARENESS. Divide your previous year into four sections of three months each (i.e., Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). To the best of your memory, determine in which section the events occurred. [Martha] event meaning some particular occurrence, or could it be some longer term theme/project etc? MEntity: Martha, "significant" is the key here. It could have been a moment, it could have been a project, it could have been a word, it could have been a day, etc. The degree of significance to you is what is important. By "significant," we mean that it meant something to you that stayed with you in some way. If it was a long-term event of significance, it can be noted as to where it began, but it can also be noted as to which sections it spanned. By just doing these steps, you have worked through the Awareness and Integration elements of Review. The next steps, then, will have more immediate significance and resonance, if this process works for you, as your examples can be worked with. A continuation on the Integration element: The four sections of the year are now labeled by the Overleaf emphasis that the season tends to bring with it. This may be different for those in the different Hemispheres, and whether the climate is rather steady, or not, there will still be these "seasons." For simplistic purposes, we will describe the climates where most of our students are, and this can then be translated appropriately. Jan-Mar=Winter=GOAL Apr-Jun=Spring=MODE Jul-Sep=Summer=ATTITUDE Oct-Dec=Fall=CHIEF FEATURES Obviously, these are not exact to the shifts in Seasons, and in fact there are more "seasons" when technically speaking, but this is a symbolic mapping that need not be confused with more technical differences. [Maureen] Is it your personal Overleaves in effect or is this only the "effect" of the yearly, transiting Overleaves? MEntity: In extreme climates that transcend the more "traditional" shifts in insolation for the year, such as closer to the poles and equator, we would still suggest dividing up your year for Review as suggested, as it is symbolic, as we said, but there are some differences in your process that we will address. There a multitude of ways to define "seasons" on the planet, so we will use this mapping that helps to cover the point of Review, rather than as a way to describing shifting temperatures and cycles of the planet, itself. In your identifying where in your "seasons" your significant events occurred, you have gained insight into which of your Overleaves was being activated as a primary process for that event. If your significant event occurred in Jan-Mar, it is directly and most-significantly linked to your GOAL. If your significant event occurred in Apr-Jun, it is directly, and most-significantly, linked to your MODE. And so on. To expand upon these: GOAL = the state or quality that every action in your life is aimed at comprehending. MODE = the method through which you access inspiration, and use that for developing Relationships. ATTITUDE = the means through which you communicate/express yourself to your world, and interpret the communication and expressions from your world. CHIEF FEATURES = the habits used to protect yourself from presumed dangers and threats to any of the above. All of this falls into the elaboration for Step Three, by the way. [Maureen] So if you went into "action" during the Oct-Dec time period -- would that be in "reaction" to your Chief Features? MEntity: We do not understand your question. [Maureen] If this time period is related to the CFs -- and you "act" or create at that time -- is this related to the Cfs? MEntity: No. When we get into examples, this may be clearer. Before we continue, we will take one of you as an example for how to utilize step three, and help you walk through the assessment. Who will volunteer? Just one, for now. [Maureen] me? MEntity: Yes, Maureen. [Maureen] do you want me to give you what I have? MEntity: Share one significant event and in what time frame it occurred. [Maureen] OBSERVATION, PASSION/RESERVE, REALIST, CFs (STUBBORNNESS, SELF-DEP, IMPATIENCE): People “insisting/wanting” to pay me Apr-Jun($), Jul-Aug(barter), Oct-Dec($). MEntity: So that we are clear: these are the same events of significance, occurring at different points in the year? [Maureen] yes - similar events / so the "same' – yes MEntity: This would then count as ONE significant event, even if it is cycles or repetition, and we would go with where it began: in the realm of your MODE. However, it will still "mean something" that it occurred in these other seasons, and we can address that. The arcing of significance, though, would be in that this is a Significant Event regarding Inspiration, your Mode, and Relationships. Our walkthrough with you will lead to step FOUR) Comprehension. What will lead to Comprehension, is the full Integration from step THREE, which is making sense of what this means to you. In this case, having the symbolic context of your Mode, Inspiration, and Relationships, it seems almost "too obvious" that this Significant Event is a process that is inviting you to relate in ways that bring the circuit of Inspiration to a wholeness in your Relationships regarding your services. It was an opportunity for you to Comprehend that your services have value that, while difficult to quantify, CAN be quantified in a way that helps that Comprehension. Therein lies the Comprehension, or Step Four: you are PART of the equation of value, not the entire equation, in a Relationship, in any terms of exchange. In terms of your own Mode of Observation, then, it would mean that this Significant Event should be glaring, obvious, and clear, and if it is rejected, you are not seeing clearly, or refusing to see clearly what is so obvious. [Maureen] I can see it – lol MEntity: Yes, you can. And by using this Review, you can then build from the Experience in a way that changes you, rather than hints at possibilities that you refuse, deny, or resist. Does all of this make sense to you? [Maureen] yes it does MEntity: Another example from another student is requested. Yes, Janet. Share as Maureen shared. [Janet] I participated in a dance competition in June, first in many years. I did not do well for a variety of reasons. But it haunts me now. I'm in Power mode. Might be my self-dep that alters my impressions of it now. MEntity: What part of June? The closer to July, the more one would want to consider the next" season" as well; in this case, the Attitude. [Janet] Mid-June. But I am Stoic. MEntity: NOTE: Any Significant Event that resides on the cusp of a "season" would do well to consider the context next to it. [Janet] And goal of Dominance to complete the sequence... MEntity: A fair span of consideration for a cusp is 3 days before the next context. In assessing your Significant Event, Janet, one would consider the event in context: in your case, in the context of Power Mode. Keeping in mind that "MODE = the method through which you access inspiration, and use that for developing Relationships," and that Power Mode is about relating through your degree of PRESENCE, we can begin to extract the significance of this event, or Integrate it. In this case, you went on full display, not only for others to see, but for you to see, just how PRESENT you are with yourself. Were you fully merged into the movements of your dance? Were you present with yourself *as a dancer*, or were you distracted by your past performances as a dancer, or your future assessment as a dancer? [Janet] Oh bingo MEntity: This is significant to you because it let you see where you are in your use of that Mode, in your use of Power, in your willingness to Be Present (in relationships). [Janet] So if you do not or cannot make full use of your mode, you may miss opportunities? Is this a way of evaluating how to approach future events? MEntity: And therein lies your Comprehension, or Step Four. That you fall into Oppression of yourself to protect yourself from the presence and power of others, rather than stand in your own Authority and confidence with whatever, however, and wherever you are with yourself NOW. [Janet] Very valid. And in retrospect all my previous good showings at comps made full use of Power mode. I see it now. MEntity: You will always make "full use" of your Mode. It is your Mode. It is functioning in one way or another, be it in Authority, or in Oppression. The key here is in your Conscious Review: continue to condemn your performance and lose all useful meaning (Integration) from it, or retroactively allow THAT PERFORMANCE to be OKAY. Take back your Authority, and bring yourself back to you (Presence), by understanding that it was its own performance, and not a defining moment the wipe out all other performances, past, future, or present. [Janet] A most helpful Review. Thank you. [Maureen] So is that how the CFs come into "play" -- at the end of the year? As we look back we "assign" a "negative" or "positive" reaction/response to our events? MEntity: Maureen, that is valid. The "season" of Chief Features tends to be when most do any kind of Review, but when done without Consciousness, there tends to come only a review of what went wrong, what needs to change, what you will do differently, etc. And then the cycle perpetuates in the new year. [Maureen] and I just saw Janet "shift" -- so if you allow yourself to shift from a "negative" to a "positive" view you can pull your OLs into the positive? MEntity: Yes, Maureen; it is an immediate effect. [Janet] But is it also valid to use what you know about the seasonal impact of the overleaves to prepare yourself for a coming event? MEntity: Janet, because this mapping is based in Review, it tends to be the case that it is only useful in retrospect, rather than in anticipation. [Janet] Ah. But I imagine some awareness won't hurt in the future. MEntity: However, knowing the "seasonal emphasis" can help you to gauge your anticipated events in a way that then allows for more immediate Integration from within the Experience. [Janet] I can see that. MEntity: For instance, had you known about this before your dance, you could have brought a consciousness to your dance that embraced your Power and presence. But that is also a realization that one can make at any time of the year. When your Reviews are only based upon what went wrong, what needs to change, etc, then it tends to be the case that your entire next year begins with Actions/Goals that stem from disappointment, failings, etc, and the stories repeat in many ways then. When you are RELATING, consider your Mode. When you are fulfilling intentions, consider your GOAL. When you are socializing and communicating, consider your ATTITUDE. and so on. What we have shared so far is a symbolic mapping of your Year in Review that helps you to bring Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension. Keep in mind that nearly all of what you have labeled as "significant events" comes with great benefit, if Comprehended. When there is lack of Comprehension, even the best of events can be dismissed. When Comprehension is involved, everything is amazing and beneficial. However, it is not lost on Essence that many events of significance simply cannot be Comprehended while within the confines of time and space, and in those instances, the freedom you give yourself NOT to comprehend (until you can) is a Comprehension in itself. To clarify our mapping of the year, the reason Chief Features are assigned to Fall, is that it is an Assimilative time of year, and therefore brings up the Instinctive Center, which often prompts fears. Assimilation is a process of filtering and organizing experiences, and this often means letting things die for the sake of rebirth, if you will. What we have shared with you is a process that is a crude parallel to how Essence Reviews an entire lifetime, except in far more detail and analysis, but your participation while from "inside" the life adds a level of profundity to afterlife Review that can only come from your participation now. Imagine the difference between walking a path through a grove of fruitful trees carrying a basket for collecting those ripened fruits, and taking time to eat many of them along the way, versus walking through that same path without a basket, and only carrying a few fruits in hand, able to maybe eat part of one along the way. The basket and the eating are your Awareness and Integration, which naturally lead to Comprehension, or a full basket at the end of the life. To continue with our metaphor, it would be similar to handing over whatever fruits are in your arms at the time, but leaving many uncollected. Some fragments "hand over their fruits" as their arms fill, and some just keep piling on top until older fruits drop off, and only recent fruits are then collected, or the other way around. [GeraldineB] What about the ongoing Reviews with Essence, i.e., the 7-year Review? MEntity: Geraldine, in most instances of Review, it is merely an uploading process, if you will, for Essence to sort through. It is not a Comprehension on the level of Personality. [Oscar] Do Scholars collect more due to their more frequent uploading? MEntity: Oscar, in keeping with the metaphor, Scholars come with their very own truck, but again, their collecting and uploading does not equate Comprehension. To share with you more creative, Personality-based Review, one can also use such things as intentional synchronicities, or oracles. Creating a layout for a Tarot Card reading of your year can be helpful. Looking at significant Transits in your Astrology can be helpful. Casting Runes, etc. [Janet] I'm sorry but what is an "intentional synchronicity"? MEntity: Janet, we used that phrase to describe the intent for a system of randomness to act as a representation or reflection of specifics. [Janet] Oh, like tarot cards or the like. MEntity: That is an example, yes. [hanna3175] iching! MEntity: Correct. Intentional Synchronicity. The intentional aspect is important, as it defines the circuit used for symbolic communication. Anything can be used when using Intentional Synchronicity. This is how dreams and omens can become significant to some. It is a valid means of establishing a language between Personality and Essence, or "the universe," etc. [Maureen] The question posed "creates" the answer -- that is why the "question" is so important -- even with you Michael! MEntity: Even the arrangements of toppings on a pizza can be "read," if there is a system defined/intended. Tea Leaf reading is no different from reading toppings on a pizza, for that matter. This process is a use of the Higher Moving Center, or the capacity for extracting Beauty. The ability to recognize patterns from within randomness. It is a skill that requires honesty, however, because it can also lead to "seeing" anything in everything. In conclusion today: By using the map we have described, and the steps for moving through Awareness, Integration, and Comprehension, you can begin your 2012 on a higher cycle, if you choose, rather than as a repeated cycle, or as an extended cycle. By "higher cycle" we simply mean that it continues to build upon what has come, rather than circles back to it. We will work with Troy in sharing in our next Open Monthly Workshop then just how one might start a higher cycle after a Comprehensive Review. NOTE: in your process of Review, we suggest taking your time, playing with various ways of understanding your significant event in terms of how it benefited you, and not simply making note of them and then discarding the process if it is frustrating. It can be daunting, we know, but it is an exercise of a "muscle" that is latent and fairly ignored, so it will not always seem easy or fun, at first. If you find you are not making any sense of your Review, or not getting to your point of Comprehension, as revealed by a sense of relief, "a-ha" moment, or enthusiasm, then set it down and come back to it later. Your life will still be there.
  5. OMW - Nov 15, 2014 - Reaching Your Goal Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. MEntity: Today we are asked to speak on the subject of the Goals, with an emphasis on each of you and how you, individually, are fulfilling your Goals. MEntity: Keep in mind that a Goal is exactly that. It is a Goal. However, like many goals, the mark will always continue to move exponentially as the aim continues. There is never a finish line for a conceptual goal. MEntity: There tangible goals and there are conceptual goals. MEntity: Tangible goals are always fueled by conceptual goals, and conceptual goals are always reached through tangible goals. MEntity: Our system emphasizes the Conceptual Goal, or abstract Goal, which is more like a state to achieve within the lifetime to some satisfaction. MEntity: So, for example, the Goal of Growth will never be reached within a lifetime, except in terms of how satisfying the path is to the individual aiming for Growth. MEntity: Though Goals never describe the Personality, they are inherent in the biology of a Personality because it is a part of the Overleaves. MEntity: The reason Goals never describe the Personality is because they are Goals. They are not already achieved. They are not already an inherent state for that individual. MEntity: However, the motivation is inherent, which means that by understanding one's Goal, one can understand nearly every aspect of the life and why it is generated as an experience. MEntity: For every Goal, there are what we might describe as 7 "versions" or states to describe where one is in aiming for that Goal. MEntity: These 7 versions are not necessarily linear, and are the same across lifetimes, Soul Ages, Levels, and Personalities. In other words, an Infant Soul in its first lifetime might see all of these versions of a Goal. MEntity: One cannot reject the Goal. One can only achieve its various states, and be aiming from the positive or negative poles. MEntity: So someone in Acceptance is never NOT working on Acceptance. MEntity: No matter what your Goal, here are the 7 versions/states: MEntity: DEFAULT - Patterns/Resistance MEntity: This is the least one has to think, notice, or feel about his or her Goal. The Default. MEntity: Experiences are gathered and Essence will sort them out, later. MEntity: By Default, there will be patterns generated in the life because of the Goal, and those patterns may or may not be noticed, but sometimes they will be resisted. MEntity: When there is resistance, there is pain. MEntity: The life "just happens" to bring patterns of Acceptance, Growth, Flow, etc. and one navigates this, or fights it. MEntity: When one experiences the life as a constant state of pain for any of the bodies, the Goal is probably functioning in a Default state. MEntity: This is the least-conscious means of navigation. MEntity: This is not a "bad" thing, but a reality of the spectrum of awareness one is. MEntity: DECISIONS - direction/denial MEntity: The next version of a Goal begins to include more conscious awareness in how to navigate through the Default patterns. This is done through DECISIONS. One begins to notice that one can decide from within those patterns. This is where one begins to learn to say no to a direction. All fragments learn to say no before learning to say yes. MEntity: This is not the same thing as Choice. We will return to the concept of Choice later. MEntity: Decisions pave the paths to Choice. MEntity: So on the positive side of this, one learns to say no so as to bring more consciousness to one's direction, but some may fall into the pattern of saying no, altogether, completely denying one's patterns in the life. MEntity: When one finds that he or she is in a constant state of NO that precludes experiences, then he or she is probably in this version of his or her Goal. MEntity: DIFFERENCE – foresight/apathy MEntity: This is when one begins to notice the patterns of the life in a way that brings about a sense that one can make a difference in those patterns. This is not just about stopping a direction, but changing it. MEntity: This brings about a sense of the future, planning, considering consequences. Where Decisions feel as if one is looking at directions where there is a branch in the path, DIFFERENCE begins to create those branches. MEntity: This is the first version of the Goal where one begins to feel responsible for the path and the state of the Goal. MEntity: This can be a bit overwhelming and the Personality can check out from all this responsibility by falling into Apathy. MEntity: This is where it is presumed that "what happens, happens" or "it is God's will," or in more new age terms, "leave it up to the universe." MEntity: These are forms of Apathy. MEntity: They may not always look like that, because the words can seem poetic or acknowledging, but they are a removal of one's responsibility from creation. MEntity: EFFORT - Willingness/Limbo MEntity: This is the version of the Goal where the patterns slow tremendously without the conscious participation of the Personality. MEntity: Experiences do not come, patterns are repetitive, familiar, and there is very little making its way into the life that is "new." MEntity: For the first time, the Goal requires your participation for generation of experiences. MEntity: This means one must be Willing to make the Effort, to actively generate experiences. Many find this daunting and will fall into familiar patterns that bring very little to the life in terms of experiences, and the life falls into Limbo. MEntity: SHARING - Intimacy/Conflict MEntity: This is the first version of the Goal where one begins to gravitate, either intentionally or unintentionally, toward those who share in the same Goal. MEntity: Finding common ground in experiences helps to bring Intimacy. The Goal, then, becomes a playground of sorts for two or more to share in. MEntity: However, this can also come with a great investment in one's Goal so that one loses the capacity to relate to others who have different Goals, or even to those who are not approaching your Goal in the same way. MEntity: This leads to Conflict, then. MEntity: Some of the greatest conflicts can come among those who share in the same Goal. MEntity: CHALLENGE - Enthusiasm/Frustration MEntity: This is the first time your Goal begins to truly be challenged by external forces. MEntity: You probably own your Goal at this point, know its patterns, are willing, sharing, etc, but then "everything" seems to get in the way. MEntity: This is the first time it is not "easy" to reach some sense of accomplishment of your Goal. MEntity: It is no longer just a default pattern that challenges your Goal, but it is pattern that seems to derail you from any sense of direction related to fulfilling your Goal. MEntity: On the positive side of this, it is optimism and enthusiasm that keeps one aiming for the Goal. Obstacles are embraced as a means of reaching a new level of the Goal, not as a means of derailment. MEntity: On the negative side of this, Frustration might come, feeling defeated, depressed, angry, and assuming that nothing you do can help. MEntity: Rather than negotiate your path and enlist creativity, you just keep doing the same things over and over and expecting different experiences/results. MEntity: CHOICE - Creation/Allowance MEntity: Now your Goal is in a state of Choice. You know your decisions pave the path to your choices, you own your choices that create your experience, and you utilize creativity for any obstacles, difficulties, challenges, etc. MEntity: Allowance is a passive form of Choice in that one recognizes that one may actually not have a choice at all times, and knows this, and is okay with this, because choice is active where it can be. MEntity: Allowance can fall into states of laziness, but consciousness is so present at this point that, even if the laziness is not preferred, it is owned as a choice. MEntity: While it is true that these versions/states are not sequential, they do build upon one another, but one can be in any of these versions at any time. Once you reach CHOICE does not mean you do not fall back into DEFAULT, for instance. This is because the Personality is reset every single lifetime. It is new. It is not a progression. The Personality is designed from progression of Essence, and the more conscious the Personality, the more Essence is involved in the life, so there is evolution, but the Personality can "go backwards," unlike Essence. MEntity: It is difficult to go backwards, even for Personality, but it can happen, and does. MEntity: Often. MEntity: It becomes more and more difficult the older one's Soul Age. MEntity: We will open the queue now for your questions regarding what we have shared so far, and ask each of you to share where you feel you may be in your own version of your Goal. MEntity: QUEUE NOW OPEN Janet: At one point you told me that 12 decisions can lead to a choice that creates a branching or pivotal point in the life. Is there any connection between these states and that correlation to the number 12 Janet: And I think I have reached at least SHARING but CHOICE seems to match also. MEntity: Janet, the 12 Decisions that lead to Choice describes how the pattern of choice is generated in any aspect of the life. The versions of the Goal describe how one progresses in the capacity to choose relative to the Goal; from a passive/less-conscious approach to the Goal to a more active/conscious approach. MEntity: In other words, the 12 decisions to choice will always be in effect, with or without consciousness or active awareness. MEntity: So the description of the versions of the Goal describe a kind of process of ownership of decisions and choices relative to the Goal/experiences. GeraldineB: Since I live with deteriorating joint damage, osteo-arthritis, which seems to be hereditary, too, I don't see the correlation between your statement “When one experiences the life as a constant state of pain for any of the bodies, the Goal is probably functioning in a Default state,” and my current state in using Discrimination. MEntity: We could be clearer in adding "OR the Goal has probably functioned in a default state for a great length of time." When there is chronic pain, it is always indicative of great resistance to "something," and this is often related to experiences generated by the default patterns of the Goal. MEntity: The denser the pain, the more time was likely involved. GeraldineB: Was I experiencing Discrimination more as rejection for a long time? MEntity: Emotional and Physical pain can be results of years of patterns and take as many years to reverse or release these. Intellectual or Spiritual pain can come and go rather quickly and is often more reflective of more local experiences of the Personality in time. MEntity: Oh, yes, Geraldine. Rejection and Rejecting was default for great lengths of time. GeraldineB: And, while I can't see the exact causative patterns right now, I know I didn't finish either my 4th IM or 5th IM in positive poles until into my 60s GeraldineB: thank you -- will cogitate on this MEntity: Keep this in mind: your physical pain is physical pain now. It can help for you to understand what led to this chronic pain, but once it is physical, it is valid to simply deal with it in physical terms. That is why it becomes physical: to give tangibility to the intangible that was difficult to manage at the time. GeraldineB: OH!! MEntity: Your treatments, relief, management are exactly relevant to the past. MEntity: One does not need to unbury ancient patterns as a means to deal with current pain. MEntity: The current pain is a symbolic language that speaks of that pain and all you need to know about it. GeraldineB: Pain = symbolic language? MEntity: We are not saying this to discourage any deeper review, but there is a point to the pain. It is here, now. That is where you would want to be, too. GeraldineB: As a digression, is this also true for all of the pain Troy suffers? MEntity: Yes, pain is a language of the body. It always speaks of one's resistance on some level. Even if that resistance is only that the skin resisted a puncture. MEntity: The more chronic the pain, the greater the patterns of which that pain speaks. MEntity: Yes, Troy is not exempt, of course. His pain is relative to lack of nurturing. This is often represented by his lack of intake of water. Lack of water and hydration generates most of his issues, and these speak to his resistance to allowing care. It does not matter that he can consciously embrace the idea. It is a pattern from long ago that speaks to the "most important" person MEntity: in his life torturing him, and so he carries this forth in an insidious way through neglecting intake of water, a life force for the body. MEntity: We cannot speak further on this subject at the moment. Claire2: I think I am at Challenge, fluctuating between Enthusiasm and Frustration. Lately, I am very aware of choosing "not" to let myself become frustrated, but am struggling to maintain my Enthusiasm. I'm becoming very aware of Choice, but don't always know what my choices are. MEntity: Claire, this is an important question. If one finds he or she is in a negative version of the Goal, solutions can be found in the "previous" version. MEntity: In this case, returning to SHARING is vital. MEntity: You would want to reach out, bond, generate and nurture intimacy with others. Your enthusiasm would come from this challenge, this return to something you miss, which is intimacy. MEntity: If you feel that intimacy is already a part of the life, then you can turn to that as place for your enthusiasm. Just enjoy being with those close to you. This would help you to keep your enthusiasm up, your frustration down, and keep your mind open and creative for when you do see other choices. MEntity: If you feel that Sharing/intimacy is missing, then let that be where you focus yourself as a challenge. MEntity: Find that. Create that. Allow that. Nurture that. Claire2: Yes, thank you, Michael. This is valid advice. KittyMac: I'm still coming to know and understand the Goal of Discrimination, both in general and in my own life. I recognize myself in most of the 7 stages you describe so I can't necessarily tell where I am right now. Is it possible to be all over the place like that? KittyMac: Or am I just blinding myself to seeing where I really am? MEntity: We think you may enjoy the truth that "yes" is true to both of your questions. KittyMac: LOL Yes, I enjoy the truth of that answer. So how can one best unblind oneself? MEntity: First, this is not uncommon for those in Discrimination. Discrimination can be described as being all about the Personality learning how to choose, refining the choices, and most importantly, liking the choices. So when one has not reached a certain degree of refinement of choice, then all choices/directions look valid and relevant. So the spectrum of versions of the Goal look like the spectrum that is you as you learn to choose and refine choices. Discrimination is about learning to say No, and meaning it. Not just saying No to say No. So Discrimination can find she says Yes to everything until then. MEntity: But this sense of relevance to all versions of the Goal can also be a symptom of one being in the state of EFFORT. MEntity: When one is in Effort, she is looking in all directions for guidance, consideration, input, insight, etc. so that the Willingness can be put behind the Effort. Until then, Limbo can be like being scattered and spread thin among the various states. KittyMac: Now that sounds recognizable. MEntity: When you put in the Effort, you would automatically snap into a direction that would look more like movement toward your Goal. MEntity: However, with all of that being said, it is still true that one would find relevance and familiarity with all versions of a Goal if one has been alive and conscious long enough. MEntity: CONTINUING... MEntity: Because each of you can move around these versions of your Goal, it is helpful to understand all versions, and then just note where you are. As described to Claire, if you find that you are in the negative pole of your version of the Goal, look to the previous version for insight into how to move yourself back into a sense of progress. MEntity: If you find you are in the negative version of Default, circle back around to CHOICE and dance between Creation and Allowing as a means to move you out of resistance. Bobby: oh so you had to go and use the "d" word, didn't ya? ;-) MEntity: Your "homework" then is to not just explore this in terms of your own approach to your Goal, but look around your world to see if your understanding of versions of Goals can help you understand people in your life, your world. MEntity: We made our statement. We think each of you are fairly clear on where you might be at any given time, and since these fluctuate, and is not particularly a progression where one settles, it makes more sense for you to assess this on your own. We know Troy invited us to comment on where each of you are in your Goal, but he did not know that we would describe this process as non-static and less-linear. MEntity: We can take your questions. Maureen: I’ve been having a really hard time “accepting” or processing my husband’s state of health and his eventual decline and death. My “usual” anxiety levels have risen sharply and depression has shown up. I think I have been all over the map but have recently (I think) moved into CHALLENGE. I want to break free of the CHALLENGE of the situation and move into CHOICE within Maureen: my Goal of Acceptance. I want to move into a state of True Acceptance and not resist what is inevitable, for all of us, in life. I got a clear message a few weeks ago while I was driving. I heard: Anxiety is resistance. MEntity: First, it is important to note that where one is in one's Goal is where one is. It is not a matter of escaping one version to move to another. You are in a version of your Goal because that is the area you are working on, or how you are working on that Goal. Challenge is exactly where you are because you are amid great challenge. Embracing that challenge is the only way through. MEntity: You are not in a bad place because you are challenged. In addition to that, if you find you are in the negative version of Challenge, then it speaks to your need to return to Intimacy, to reach out, to connect, to be closer to someone. You are right on track with this. MEntity: Having difficulty "accepting" the pain, illness, or death of a loved one is not a weakness. It is life. It is natural. These are challenges no matter where one is in regard to a Goal. MEntity: You are overshooting when you aim to accept death, pain, and illness. These do not require your acceptance. They are of no benefit or peace to you or to the concept for you to accept these. MEntity: Only consciousness need be accepted. MEntity: Whether in the form of sentience, loved ones, or any creature of reason or feeling. MEntity: Accept your loved one. Your mate. Accept YOU. The rest takes care of itself. MEntity: "Anxiety is resistance," is true, but to expand upon that, anxiety is resistance to, or denial of, trust. MEntity: Anxiety is the pain of distrust. MEntity: Life is like a person to those who love it. MEntity: So when life hurts a loved one, or the self, it is a shock, it feels personal, it triggers one to distrust that "person" now. MEntity: YOU have experienced life. That is all you have ever experienced. YOU have never experienced death. You cannot trust death. You have no experience with death. Why would you ever force yourself to trust something without experience. Life is what you trust. You know it well. It does not matter that your Essence has had hundreds of incarnations. Each incarnation only knows life until it dies. It only knows death very briefly. MEntity: Life has not betrayed you. It can still be trusted. But death will come. It is as inevitable as breathing is for living. The only way you can shift into a trust of death is to know that death is to Essence as breathing is to the Personality. Maureen: Thank you. MEntity: You know Essence. You are a part of Essence. You can trust Essence. And, eventually, it takes its breath. It must breathe to live. It is how you are alive, and why you will die. But it is also how and why you will never end. MEntity: We know death and loss is painful. We did not forget. But we can assure you that, while there is no "heaven" in any literal sense, and while the afterlife is less romantic than the imagination might wish for it to be, "you" continue. We are an integrated entity with millions of Personalities milling about among us. They do not go away. Integration is not the same thing as disintegration. MEntity: However, while one is living. Live. While a loved one who is ill is alive, let him or her live. Whatever that means, and that might mean something terrible or beautiful. That is life. Return your trust to life, and you will find your trust returning to your loved one, yourself, Essence, and existence. MEntity: That return of trust can help relieve your anxiety, but not your struggle. Not your challenges. Those are there, however you decide to look at them. MEntity: Look at them differently, and acceptance will come. MEntity: We must conclude here for today. But we will continue again. As will all of you, no matter when your conclusion to a day comes. MEntity: Goodbye, for now. It will always only ever be "for now" for any of you.

We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to discuss with each of you where you are in the fulfillment of your Goal for the lifetime. Though we have covered the mapping of the Goal and the Pathways of Personality, we will use this time for more intimate discussion that goes beyond the logistics and intellect. In this more intimate discussion we may or may not reference the logistics, but will address with you your concerns, confusions, comments, experiences, challenges, successes, more in your own terms of daily navigation of the life. What we will do then is open the floor to your questions about your own or any Goal and any context in which the Goal may be questioned and explored. We will then work from there as to any "workshopping" may be useful. First we will ask each of you to respond to the following questions: DO YOU FEEL YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR GOAL? DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AWARE OF OR SEE YOUR GOAL IN EFFECT ON A REGULAR BASIS? DO YOU CLEARLY SEE ITS CHALLENGES AND ITS MOMENTS OF FULFILLMENT? Maureen: Do you want us to answer here - or just to ourselves - at this point? Janet: I could understand my goal better. I do see it in effect on a regular basis. I see its challenges and am aware of a few moments of fulfillment. (I have a goal of Dominance.) ClaireC: Michael, I feel that I have "hit a wall" in my current exploration of Growth. Am I simply in Re-Evaluation or is it something else? Bobby: Growth - I understand the negative pole of it better I think because it becomes SO obvious when I slip into Confusion as opposed to experiencing Evolution Johanne: I say Yes to the three. I have the goal of acceptance Maureen: I have the Goal of Acceptance. DianeHB: Flow - I understand it but I'm always learning about its nuances CongN: I think I understand my goal of flow (sliding to growth and acceptance). It's almost like a goal of no goal, I will just keep exploring things that are of interesting to me and my essence. I have scholar cast, so this part is quite natural. I will say I see it in a regular basis more and more often. The challenge comes with my passion mode and my high male energy. I want to “enforce” my vision while my goal wants to be more passive and flow. How can passion mode work well with the goal of flow? I feel there is a part of me really like the idea of “let it be”, but there is another part that always hoping for a clear sense of direction and move forward like a straight arrow. CongN: Also I would like to explore in more depth about my other goals of growth and acceptance. The elements are definitely in my life but I might not be paying as much attention. Janet: The implementation of my goal is changing somewhat. I think that I achieved Dominance in a positive pole in my job, and that made leaving the job more difficult. Now it seems I am to be more focused on 'self-dominance' and that is probably harder. Or you can answer in this more chaotic way, too. Janet: lol Janet: Inner Negative Pole of Dominance = Chaos DianeHB: LOL The questions posed help us to see where you are in your relationship to the Goal. What we will do now is open up a queue for you to ask questions. If you posed a question above, presume to ask it again from the queue. Add yourself to the queue with 3 asterisks as usual *** - your questions can be as personal or as broad as you would like, keeping in mind that this is a shared experience and not a private session. QUEUE IS OPEN Yes, Cong. Cong: How am I progressing through the goal so far? I am in passion mode. I want to “enforce” my vision while my goal wants to be more passive and flow. How can passion mode work well with the goal of flow? I feel there is a part of me really like the idea of “let it be”, but there is another part that always hoping for a clear sense of direction and move forward like a straight arrow. First we will say that while there are ways to map out a Goal, there is no end point to the Goal, so measuring progress is difficult to describe. The spectrum between Positive and Negative will always be there and both Poles will be necessary even as one sustains the Positive Pole (which includes the Negative Pole). Next we can say that the more one sustains the Positive Pole while allowing room for the Negative Pole, the more one is fulfilling the Goal. CongN: understood. I also have high frequency. Meaning sometimes I will be impatient if I learn that a goal is endless and limitless. Next we will say that your drive to enforce a vision is not contrary to your Goal of Flow. It is perfectly viable that one push an agenda and uphold a vision while in the Positive Pole of Flow. Flow is not inaction. Flow is not dispassionate. Passion is not imposition. Passion is not overeagerness. Flow is simply choosing the path of least resistance, or creating a path of least resistance. Passion simply means that your fuel and method for fulfilling the Goal and Relationships is that you learn more about yourself. In the Negative Poles one can become Identified with Stagnation and then you may find that you deem yourself not learning because you are not moving, losing yourself in the lack of progress. But once you recognize that lack of progress is not a defining factor, but a part of the ebb and flow of movement, you can learn from those phases of Stagnation and this immediately puts you back in Self-Actualization and Freedom. CongN: yes I feel that quite strongly sometimes, at work and in my relationships with other people. Impatience is its own thing and not related to the Goal and Mode. NEXT, Claire. ClaireC: Michael, I seem to have hit a wall in exploring Growth. Am I in Re-Evaluation or something else? You are in Confusion, the Negative Pole. This is because you have been working on closure of a very long phase of Growth in your life that was quite specifically defined by contexts that no longer apply. To get you into a new cycle of Growth, you have to truly allow for the closure of the previous cycle. What you have done is try to overlap a launch into a new cycle while working on the closure of the previous. ClaireC: Any advice as to how to close the previous cycle? This has moved you into Confusion, which comes because one has either expanded the range of choice so wide that the necessary choices are overwhelming, or because one has reduced one's choices down to directions that are no longer of interest. ClaireC: Which of these applies to me? To bring closure to the past cycle you would want to do two things: assess with total honesty whether you are done with guilt, regret, resentment, and to assess with total honesty whether you can build a new cycle of growth based on choice and not from an eagerness to escape the past cycle. You have "halted" your Growth (which cannot truly be halted) as a means to catch up with yourself, to catch your breath, and to like being with yourself, to like being you. As you move into a state that feels more like curiosity and comfortable confidence vs overeagerness and pressures of deadlines, you will know that your cycles are shifting forward again. ClaireC: Alright, thank you, Michael. And, yes, when in the Negative Pole of Confusion, you are already moving into the Positive Pole of Re-evaluation that is Simplicity because this is how you return to Evolution. You had to strip your mind and heart of all distractions and return to your center. ClaireC: It feels that way to me, but now I'm asking myself, what next? The whole new world open to you was exciting and daunting and tainted by guilt and resentment and escape from panic, but now that time has passed you can return to your center, take a deep breath, and CREATE what is next rather than wait for what is next. This is new to you. It was always presented to you before. Now you must create it, find it, look for it. NEXT, Bobby. Bobby: For Growth, I know you've said that Inner Positive = STIMULATION/FRICTION. How I imagine Evolution to feel as an indicator, compared to Confusion, is a sort of lack of Friction. So when I feel that, am I experiencing Evolution or is that an indicator of something else? Friction is necessary for Evolution, however, when Recognition is included, it is not experienced as painful because there is no Resistance. Recognition is what keeps the Friction from hurting, and this is Evolution. In other words, when one must struggle or when one is met with a challenge, it is understood as a part of life, not a blow to life. Challenges and struggles are understood as part of the gamble in life, not a personal affront from life. They are experienced as invitations to grow, to Evolve, rather than as traps to escape. Does this make sense to you? Bobby: Oh yes. Thank you! We think we missed Janet. NEXT, Janet. Janet: At one point you said that older souls could add the prefix SELF- to their goal, and that made a lot of sense to me. So, as mentioned above, I think that currently my focus is self-dominance, and it's much harder to see how I'm doing. How can I evaluate my progress? I may just be expecting a target that is as visible as career success and that's not likely if the focus is internal. Think of Self-Dominance as Self-Direction. When one is in Dominance across the Soul Ages, the focus can be on how to direct others in ways that bring about the best results, but as an Old Soul this art of direction is turned inward and it is a new world to pull together. Across your lifetimes you would still have had lifetimes at any Soul Age where Self-Direction was explored, but it is in the Old Soul Age that one begins to truly pull all of that experience together and stand in comfortable solitude to be both the guide and the guided. This means you will see a bigger picture and then you must delegate to yourself in terms of actions across time and space, rather than across people. For example, having an idea about what you would like to experience, then researching, planning, pulling together resources, assessing resources, allotting them, and then pursuing the idea, etc. Janet: It’s much harder. I work better with deadlines and now there are no deadlines except those I can set for myself and make myself believe. It is all on you, for the most part, though if delegation is necessary to outsource, this is still a strength. Yes, this is one of the final lessons of Dominance. How to listen to yourself the way you expect others to listen to you. The more you listen to yourself, honor yourself, follow up with yourself, etc, the more you can see the Leadership in fulfillment. Janet: Thank you! NEXT, Diane. They are unique to the conditions of each of your lives. Each assessment must be unique to conditions of the life or the assessment would be absurd. The challenges to one in Acceptance vs another in Acceptance can be vastly different. DianeHB: Good to know. I was thinking I spent more time in the negative pole than that. DianeHB: Based on recent experiences Yes, recent experiences cannot be the only factor for determining an accurate assessment. We are looking at your lifetime, not the past few weeks or months or even years. DianeHB: I see When we can see 65% or higher in our assessment, it is usually because the fragment has been working with Essence, True Personality, Manifesting Essence, and even if this has only begun for some within the past few years, it can drastically change the overall assessment. DianeHB: Thank, you NEXT, Johanne. Johanne: My platform is about: True exchange. Is it a mean chosen by my essence to explore agape (acceptance) in deeper depth? EVERYTHING about the life will be about exploring Agape and Acceptance. There is not a moment when this is not true. True Exchange, however, is a means for exploring deeper, yes. By "deeper" we mean that it will not just be about courtesy and grace, but about true and mutual value fulfillment in your interactions. Means for looking at what you may be holding back, hiding, conserving, and what you can experiment with revealing, expressing, and offering in ways that bring about greater range of meaningful exchanges. There is nothing you DO that does not contribute to your exploration, experimentation, progress or rejection of the Goal. Janet: lol Maureen: I want to clarify that I answered Yes to your questions above, that I do understand where I am at with my Goal, etc., because I am aware of "having" to work on Acceptance around issues, relationships, etc. Acceptance is never totally a "done deal". As Janet stated about her Goal I believe mine, as well, comes down, quite acutely, to Self-Acceptance. To get there, to Self-Acceptance, I have to move through accepting some choices of another, or others, and that hasn't been easy. In my experience, acceptance of others, of other's choices, seems to be inextricably tied to acceptance of self. It's often been a struggle to accept all the nuances a person or a situation to arrive at a state of Acceptance or wholeness for myself that also includes others. It's also been hard to "accept" the choices of another when you haven't been included or "accepted" in their choices. I just realized I'm talking about rejection, from an outside source, and that may be one of the hardest things for someone with the Goal of Acceptance to "accept". When it comes to Acceptance, one of the final lessons of this Goal is that Acceptance INCLUDES accepting when you determine what is unacceptable. Acceptance is not a path toward mindless permissions and blank checks of credibility to the choices and actions of others. It is a long and often painful process of learning what is acceptable and what is not. When something or someone is unacceptable it does not mean that you do not accept them. This may sound like a contradiction, but for those in Acceptance, this can be a rather profound "A HA!" In extreme instances this can be clearly understood when something like rape, murder, incest, child abduction, abuse, torture, etc are put up for examination of their acceptability. Acceptance does not ask you to accept these. It asks you to know what Acceptance IS. It does not ask you to break your spirit trying to accept the most harmful of behaviors, experiences, and life. So Self-Acceptance is the final frontier, so to speak, in determining and accepting your bank of Acceptable vs Unacceptable, and knowing how to appropriately navigate the choices involved around that. True Self-Acceptance does not force you to accept the truly unacceptable. Your soul knows what is truly unacceptable. So as you grow in Soul Age and Manifesting of Essence, this becomes clearer and clearer, not from a superficial position of preferences and pickiness and morality and indignation and righteousness, but from a deep truth that grows from eons of Karma. Acceptance is not in opposition to Justice. The Universe is entirely aligned with both Acceptance AND Justice, or Karma would not exist. Maureen: Sounds like one of the last Paradoxes. The point is not to accept the choices of others if they are harmful, but to know what to do (or not to do) when the choices and actions of others are harmful. The point is not to depend upon an eventual world of acceptable choices and actions of others to find peace and acceptance of the self, but to find that peace and acceptance in the self by trusting the truth of differences in acceptable and unacceptable. The reason this is not an easy path is because you must sort through all of your own superficial and righteous expectations and conditions that misuse the power of Acceptance, Ingratiating yourself or others to fulfill false criteria for Acceptance, and learn to use this power of Acceptance from a place of Agape. GOAL of FLOW When Flow is chosen, there is an interest in noticing the subtleties of life, in learning to relax and take a break and trust in Essence, Intuition and Surrender. Flow is about learning where you have control, and where you must navigate what life “throws”, rather than strain to sustain control over it. As such, Flow often struggles with high levels of stress, anxiety, control issues and panic very easily. In -Inertia/Momentum/Stagnation, Flow feels stuck in a rut,” doing a lot of nothing”, and keeping up a momentum that never changes; or he feels he’s being moved forward/halted against his will, moving in, or being pulled into a direction that he knows is impending as an obligation, resents having to negotiate, or wants to distract from. Otherwise stated, this is the feeling that life is going nowhere, or is moving in a direction he would rather alter. He is being pulled against his will, against his plans and trajectory. Flow can use any other Goal to Struggle against Inertia/Momentum/Stagnation or Bring Peace/Freedom- Re-Evaluation would simplify to the key struggles, reducing life/activity/focus in order to bring clarity on what's wanted/needed for freedom. // Growth would feel confused+overwhelmed, turning those struggles of inertia into opportunities for meaningful growth. Discrimination would want to make better+more refined choices, rejecting until there is a sense of resonance to some means of bringing freedom. // Acceptance would feel ingratiating, removing the pressure to accept something keeping him inert, so that he can truly accept an experience/relationship because he means it and wants to, not because he can or has to. Submission would realize what his struggles are amplifying, redirecting himself to more replenishing(freeing) directions. // Dominance would take charge, dictating direction until turning his challenges into opportunities for leadership. In +Freedom then, Flow can surrender to the forces that sway him, but also work within those forces greater than him to the best of his ability; he no longer tries to control his speed or direction, but makes small changes to create a cumulative effect. When he surrenders, he relaxes and adapts to the flow of life to realign himself and move at a more comfortable pace. GOAL of DOMINANCE When Dominance is chosen, the life is about actively embodying a cause or direction for others or for yourself. It is about learning to take an active role in leading all involved to an end goal accomplishment, fulfillment or satisfaction. In Dominance, you are Motivated and Challenged to learn where+how you’re most needed/effective as an exemplary status; where+how to use your influence, either in leading others/yourself literally, or with a constant self-consciousness you’re setting an example. In -Dictatorship, Dominance imposes a direction of absolute authority/control in face of any chaos/distrust of the parts of self, resources or people involved in making things happen. GOAL of DISCRIMINATION When Discrimination is chosen, there is an effort to define the life on one’s own and make better, more refined choices for yourself that you like. It is about saying NO, but meaning it with integrity+honesty; stripping away all the “bullshit” that you or others create to navigate life with a better understanding, and a clarity of distinction. When in -Rejection, he messily, outright rejects all his choices, or experiences a literal or symbolic rejection from other people or things that leads him to learn to just say NO all the time. He simply says/finds ways to say NO, to avoid having to look at, deal with, or experience what he does not want to. Otherwise stated, he turns to rejection to deal with any Loathing or Imposition, often from a point of protection, overgeneralization or prejudice, leaving him with nothing or very little as his default choice in the end. To move from -Rejection to +Refinement, Discrimination must +Accept and say YES to something in what he's rejecting. He cannot truthfully mean NO, unless he first says YES. As an example, rather than rejecting an entire selection of grapes because a few are bruised, he would reject only those that are bruised, accepting the rest. In +Refinement/Sophistication, he determines+chooses what of his available choices, he resonates with, bringing clarity + refinement to his communication when saying YES, and rising above reactionary rejection when saying NO.     RE-EVALUATION

GOAL of RE-EVALUATION When Re-Evaluation is chosen, the life is set up so the individual focuses on 1 or 2 clearly defined things, states or areas lifelong. These can be physical, emotional or intellectual, but there is always a clear goal that the life is themed around, and often there are impairments in the life that help process these in some way. The states focused on are often based upon past life themes where so much was taken in but little processed, so the Re-Evaluator often also lives with 1 foot in another world, in a high-functioning daydream state so that “real life” seems to pass much slower or faster than for others. It may not seem the personality is doing much processing, but the essence is, and the personality can connect to and benefit from this. When in -Withdrawal, the focus/activity is far too oversimplified, to the point that the Re-Evaluator feels a withdrawal from his life force, and no longer feels alive. This can often be seen in extreme isolation/daydreaming or certain mental illnesses. This loneliness then, repels all other experience. To move from -Withdrawal to +Simplicity, he must slide to +Evolution, and digest and process his experiences to prompt himself to grow and feel inspired to take on new layers of the clearly defined thing/state/area he’s focused on. +Simplicity then, is a state that sees the key issues to be focused on and processed, and he works through them, without losing the vitality and liveliness that keeps him in touch with the world.
