  1. Michael Speaks - Soul Ages and Levels (01/09/11) Troy Tolley, Channel [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We will begin with the discussion on the topic of Soul Ages and Levels. We realize we have shared a great deal of information and insight into this concept, but every aspect of our teaching has dimensions that may resonate at different points in the life, and to different students and different times, so our returning to "basics" does not have to be a review, or rehash, but a new spiral or layer of that concept. One of the reasons we think it is helpful to return to the basics at various points is because our initial sharing of this teaching in the form that you currently understand it was shared in a highly-generalized and simplified way, and through the perspective of the average Soul Age of Young at the time. Our teaching does not change, but the understanding of it changes depending on the perspective that is interpreting it. For instance, there is a very basic way to understand the Role of Sage, in general, and then there are the differentiation of layers or evolution that bring dimension to that Role. For example, understanding the Sage as a goofy, obnoxious, self-indulgent, talkative, attention-seeking Role is highly-generalized, and though accurate as a single dimension of that Role, only describes the Sage as the average Young Soul might manifest the Role. The description, or dimension, of the Role of Sage as an Old Soul will include this Young Soul version, but age affects how a Role is played or manifested, and the Old Soul Sage is often nothing like the general description, or the Young version. Whereas the the Young dimension of the Sage can be a clown and an attention-seeker, the Old version is the wise child whose emphasis is more on the integrity of communication and meaningful exchange, than on the attention that it would bring. And so it goes that the Soul Ages carry within them dimensions that might be fltered or highlighted by your own Soul Age. So, for instance, the Young Soul to an Old Soul looks and feels and is experienced quite differently from how a Young Soul would experience another Young Soul. What we will do today is discuss with you the Soul Ages as they may be experienced by our Students, who are more often Mature and Old, and this may help build upon the generalized concept. Your questions will help us to shape the information more relevantly. First, we will mention the underlying pillars for Soul Age that are relevant regardless of perception: Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement for EXPERIENCE. Nothing more. Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement of Experience based upon that individual Essence's agenda only. There is no one, or no thing, monitoring this beyond that single Essence. To elaborate: one fragment's movement through a Soul Age may include completely different experiences than another fragment's experiences through that same Soul Age. That is because - Soul Age is a measurement of evolution/maturity of the Essence, and any experience can be used to propel that evolution/maturity. Soul Age is ONE INTERPRETATION of the evolution of experiences of Sentience, but is not a singular map that all find relevant or meaningful. It is a map for older souls, and is useless to most before that level of maturity. There are other maps used by younger soul ages. In other words, sharing this map "with the world" would not solve the problems of the world, nor would it encourage awareness beyond the capacity that is already present in younger Soul Ages. Presuming that this concept is as profound a map for the young or baby soul as it is for the mature or old soul, is like presuming that a map of Disney Land is as useful and meaningful for the toddler or teen as it is for the adults. We can go further to say that even many adults, or older souls, may not find the map useful or meaningful. Continuing - Soul Age is not a map that is imposed upon Sentience, anymore than the aging body is imposed upon a Personality. It is simply part of the nature of evolution and maturity. In other words, there are no requirements for that maturity and evolution, only markers. Soul Age is a map that we generated from learning about how our Essences learn and evolve, though that evolution was already long in place before the map was generated. The map of Soul Ages is cyclical, and not linear, despite the apparent progression. Regardless of Soul Age, EVERY Personality is born "reset" to an Infant Soul status of consciousness, and must, if the Personality chooses to do so, find its way back into whatever Age and Level of consciousness and maturity the Essence has reached previously. To some extent, the same could be said for the Essence at every new LEVEL within a Soul Age, and especially at every new Soul Age. For the Personality, this may make sense, since the vehicle is completely new; a new brain and body that must adjust to and share the life with Essence, if it chooses to do so. However, for every new Level, Essence also "resets" and cycles back through what it has learned to that point, and must then build upon that, much like the Personality must regain consciousness over the lifetime to a point that can then draw upon Essence's history. Before we elaborate further, we will take up to 3 questions relevant to what we have shared so far. ***QUEUE OPEN FOR 3 QUESTIONS*** [Question] "Cyclical, not linear" - I visualize the "levels" as being in line with each other, e.g. all 6s "above" each other - a spiral That is "exactly" how it is. We qualify the word "exactly" because we mean it only in terms of a visual interpretation. That is a fair and accurate visual. When one is in the 6th Level of any Soul Age, all other 6th Levels are activated and explored. That "activation and exploration" are on an Essence level for the most part, but would also be relevant to which lifetimes tend to be resonant to that lifetime. We think some insight might be gained from the recursive sequence of what has come to be called the "Fibonacci Spiral." [Question] I would like to ask for an elaboration of Essence resetting when a new level is achieved within the same lifetime, i.e., as XXX did. Is this why she is recycling through earlier levels as Essence resets? That "resetting" is relevant to what we have come to describe as the Internal Monads. There are Internal Monads that the Physical Body and Personality build through, and Internal Monads that Essence builds through. Every Level of Soul Age is a pass through 7 Internal Monads. Every Personality's progress through its own Internal Monads contributes to the progression of Essence through its own Internal Monads. Every Personality starts over with the First Internal Monad in every lifetime, no matter how far a previous Personality has progressed in a previous life. Every Essence starts over with a First Internal Monad in every new Level, because each Level is a completion, or cycle through, 7 Internal Monads. To help clarify: Every Personality goes through a progress of "waking up" within a lifetime because it is a completely new lifetime; Every Essence goes through a progress of "waking up" within a new Level, because it is a completely new Level. A simple metaphor might be that Essence entering a new Level from a previous Level is like an evolving Personality might enter a new relationship after having been in a previous relationship, or moving to a new city after having lived in a different city before. It is not that all is lost, so much as that all that has been learned must now be applied in a fresh context. [Question] How does one explain the soul that remembers a prior life under 5 years of age? Did these essences choose to remember their soul age? It can take UP TO 7 years for a new Personality to embrace and bring through, so to speak, Essence, but for the older souls, that time is often much shorter. The greater the level of maturity or consciousness that Essence brings to a new life, the greater the resource that the new Personality can access, if it chooses to do so. Depending upon the culture and imprinting that is the environment for the new Personality, the child may not only bring Essence in more quickly, but that child's filters may also allow for those "memories" to flow freely. In some societies, such as some within India, reproductive imagination is encouraged in children and they are "allowed" to voice memories that defy reason. In other societies, such as in the United States, those memories are not encouraged, and creative imagination is encouraged over reproductive imagination. Every lifetime, regardless of the fact that it is new, with a new body, and new Personality, will always be built upon the Instinctive Center of the "previous" lifetime, carried forth like a disc from one body to the next by Essence. That Instinctive Disc, if you will, is the mini-Akashic Records of that particular Essence, and depending upon the level of consciousness accessible to the new Personality, can be read and accessed by that new Personality. [Question] Follow up: how do we create a stage for the child to bring in essence and allow memories to flow freely? There is no real way to create that stage in a way that prompts the memories, but there are ways that one can encourage the exploration of those memories when the child begins to speak of them, if he or she does so. A child will either speak of them, or not, depending upon that Personality's personal process of regaining consciousness. If the environment is open to that, and the Personality speaks of these memories, then the validation can occur. However, to prompt a child to speak of past life memories, rather than simply allow for that child to speak of them if he or she does so, can often lead to false memories, confusion, and delusions. In short, simply paying attention and being open is enough. Responding to "Dracula": The impact and extraction of knowledge from experiences is subjective, but the markers are static. [Question] Static, not "objective"? This might be understood through the metaphor of passing through a city that has specific streets that will crossed on the way through, but different speeds and vehicles may be used to pass. In addition to that, some may rest, some may crash, some may backtrack, some may sight-see, but all of those variations will not change the terrain. We chose the word "static" because, though the markers may remain in place, even the interpretation of them will be subjective. Much like the fact that a city may have a definitive terrain, but many maps to highlight various ways through it, depending upon the interest of the one choosing the map. We will continue with the topic and return to questions in a moment. We have already mentioned this in response to questions, but we will elaborate here on the Soul Age process: One Internal Monad is a level of maturity, awareness, consciousness gained by a Personality or multiple Personalties over lifetimes; 7 Internal Monads = 1 Level of a Soul Age; there are 7 Levels within a Soul Age; there are 7 Soul Ages for Essence. An Internal Monad is a process of resolving a division; a kind of return to wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts. For instance, the 1st Internal Monad is the resolution between Physical and Essence that is "life." By the way, just "being born" is not necessarily a completed 1st Internal Monad, but we will elaborate upon the Internal Monads in another discussion. Understanding that Soul Ages are built from these processes of resolution can help one to see the vast beauty and magnitude of what it means to evolve, growing from fragmentation, through resolution, and returning to wholeness. Every Level then is one layer, or one dimension, of fragmentation "healed" for Essence, or more accurately put, "regained." When your Essence chooses a Role, it carries forth its own kind of "disc" into that new Grand Cycle of lives as that new Role and new sentient species, but in every other sense, it fragments itself and loses all "memory" of anything "before." Therefore, it could be said that every fragment is in a process of collecting itself back from the universe in which it is exploring. In the same way that we exist as fragments of Tao that eventually return, so are each of you fragmented "out" into your Grand Cycle "ahead of you," and then the compulsion toward wholeness propels the cycle. In a very simplistic and crude description, every Essence "hides" fragments of itself throughout the universe, and the process of evolution is the recovery of those fragments. That process of recovery is different for every Soul Age. For the Infant Soul, this process comes from tangible contact with the world, a kind of feeling around in the dark, and relies greatly upon TOUCH as the navigating tool. For the Baby Soul, this process of recovery comes from extremes of experiences, a kind of tight-rope walking that can find most of itself in every fall from the rope, relying greatly upon BALANCE as the navigating tool. For the Young Soul, this process of recovery comes from opportunities and investments, or indulgences, toward its greatest idea of itself; a kind of constant following of a frequency or tone, making HEARING one of its primary tools for navigation. For the Mature Soul, this process of recovery comes from recognition and empathy, finding and recovering extensions of the self that reside in others, making SIGHT a primary navigational tool. For the Old Soul, this process of recovery comes from pleasure, reunion, happiness, and play, because it can now recover the parts of self that never stopped to enjoy so many things along the way, making SMELL/TASTE a primary navigational tool. When we associate these senses with the Soul Ages as navigational tools, they are not always so direct and literal, but often they are. For instance, in a Young Soul society, music tends to blossom and evolve as a primary medium because "hearing" is so pronounced. Other Soul Ages enjoy music, of course, but for other reasons. For instance, in the United States, the "music industry" is heavily populated by Young Souls, and Young Souls are attracted to that medium of recovery in droves. The phrase "marching to the beat of a different drummer" is a Young Soul phrase because Identity is so important to the Young Soul. This is NOT to say that music is synonymous with Young Souls, but that Young Souls tend toward SOUND, both literally and figuratively, as a means of recovering fragments of Essence, or finding themselves, so to speak. Young Souls are often the loudest among you. A Mature Soul may use music to explore himself, express, or heal himself, but not necessarily as a way to recover or find himself. As your world moved into Mature Soul consciousness, you can see the shift from Radio to TV, for instance, or from music to videos. Even the phone is on its way to being replaced by video conferencing because the Mature Soul uses SIGHT as a means of navigating for recovery of itself. The Old Soul recovers itself through remembering how to enjoy living and being in a body, so two very primitive senses are called upon: smell and taste, which are fairly dependent upon each other, and help the body and Personality toward that which feels good. Smell and Taste affect the entire system that is the Body and the Personality, bringing a synthesis when allowed. In other words, the more an Old Soul allows itself to enjoy, love, accept, and live through its body, the more it recovers its fragments of self and returns to a wholeness. Briefly, the Transcendental Soul uses Orientation, and the Infinite Soul uses Relationality as navigational tools for the recovery of fragments. Of course, on the scale of the Infinite Soul, those fragments are all Essences relative to that species of Sentience. Another way to understand the Soul Ages from a student's perspective, and not necessarily as a generalized perspective, would be by seeing the polarities of the Soul Ages and how those may manifest through a Personality. To accommodate the limitation of time for this chat, we will quickly share those: The Infant Soul manifests Positively as INNOCENCE, and Negatively as DISSONANCE. The Baby Soul manifests Positively as REFLECTION, and Negatively as REJECTION. The Young Soul manifests Positively as ACCOMPLISHED, and Negatively as ENTITLED. The Mature Soul manifests Positively as PERCEPTIVE, and Negatively as PROJECTIVE. The Old Soul manifests Positively as INCLUSIVE, and Negatively as EXCLUSIVE. Though we can elaborate upon all of these, we will quickly say that the Mature Soul, when manifesting Positively, is capable of seeing beyond the obvious, the logical, the superficial, and does not require "reasons" for what is known. It simply Perceives. It can truly SEE. The Mature Soul manifesting Negatively loses its capacity to Perceive and simply Projects, turning everyone into props and players for his or her own drama, never truly seeing others because of the preoccupation with seeing (finding) the self. The Old Soul manifesting Positively is Inclusive because everything and everyone is experienced as a part of the greater whole, including all of the previous Soul Ages within itself. This leads to an adaptability that allows for finding parts of the self in places and people it never would have thought of on its own, if you will. This Old Soul can draw upon its previous tools for navigation at will because it has accepted those tools, and will use them appropriately to navigate or understand those in younger Soul Ages. Everything is experienced and interpreted as "food for the soul," so to speak. The Old Soul manifesting Negatively become Exclusionary, aligning itself only with the "like-minded," seeking refuge and intimacy only those who feel "safe," and even then keeping a wall of isolation around the self as part of the interaction. This dependence upon the condition of safety never allows the Personality and Body to enjoy the life to the fullest, often resorting to the forming of secrets, imaginary relationships, and the equivalent of soul masturbation. Keep in mind that the Negative Poles we describe are a part of the spectrum and process for any term we are describing, and do not indicate what not to do or be. They simply describe the more limited end of that spectrum, as well as the end through which all will enter in that context. For instance, ALL Old Souls will go through an Exclusionary phase before it will move into an Inclusionary phase. That is natural. [Question] You mean within a single lifetime? ALL Mature Souls will move through a Projective phase before it can Perceive. That would depend upon the individual, but for the most part, yes. Every Old Soul within each of its Old Soul lifetimes will still have to regain the consciousness of that Old Soul awareness, and that means the Personality would go back through a phase of Exclusion before Inclusion. As every Old Soul in this "room" can attest, if there is an honest assessment, the Exclusionary phase is all too familiar. We will open the floor for questions, but will end our responses in 15 minutes to accommodate our channel's and students' time limitations. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** [Question] You said in an earlier chat that Religion was the playground of the baby soul and Politics was the playground of the Young soul. What are the equivalent structures for the other ages (especially Mature Soul)? My guess is "Community" We could say that RELATIONSHIPS are the playground of the Mature Soul, and IMAGINATION is the playground for the Old Soul, and THE UNKNOWN is the playground of the Infant Soul. By extension, "Community" would be included in Relationships. [Question] Hello Michael =) Could you elaborate, or give pointers as to (learn) how to access our mini-Akashic disc you mentioned? The greatest direct access each of you have to your Instinctive Centers/Akashic Records is IMPULSES. Impulses are prompts that stem from the Instinctive Center in a way that each fragment eventually learns to read/interpret, and trust. Impulses are not the same as Compulses, as Impulses always include Choice, whereas Compulsions feel as if one has no choice. Impulses will always lead the Personality along paths that are a part of the higher pattern of its existence, and of Essence. Those Impulses are directly from one's Instinctive Center and directly relevant to the current lifetime in some way. Impulses are not indications of a "right" way to do something, or a "right" thing to do, direction to go, choice to make, etc, but simply indicative of possibilities relevant to what is active in those personal records. [Question] Would that be what feels like that "little voice inside" - same as intuition? Yes, that is often how Personalities interpret the Impulses, however, there is a difference between Intuition and Impulse. Intuition is a synthesis of information gathered from various senses and sources that then must be interpreted, whereas an Impulse is a kind of immediate Knowing. For instance, one might use Intuition to help decided which city or part of city to move to, or which home "feels" right, but an Impulse would be the Knowing that it is time to move. It could be said that Intuition can be a navigational tool for fulfilling an Impulse. [Question] I am 7th Level Old and my husband is 7th Level Mature -- I have been thinking for some time that this is not a coincidence -- from the perspective of our soul levels discussion today and in a way that would be relative to everyone :) -- please comment. That would be valid, Maureen. Fragments will often find themselves in association with, relationship with, attracted to, repulsed by, those who share the same LEVEL, but different Soul Age. This is part of the process for a fragment to cycle (back) through a Level. Though an Essence may be a 5th Level Old Soul, clearly having moved beyond the 5th Levels of the previous Soul Ages, it does not mean the value of revisiting or exploring those levels within is meaningless, concluded, or lost. This is part of the spiral we described earlier. For those who did not get a question in for us, we can suggest posting your question to the forum where this transcript will eventually be posted, and then it will be there for Troy to offer to us as he can for our response to be added. We must conclude here. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
  2. March 7, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel Racism [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the topic tonight to be “Racism.” We can begin by stating that we believe Racism, as it is understood, is simply a subcategory of a larger categorical rejection of, abuse of, neglect of, or dismissal of a particular group. We believe Racism is included along with Sexism, Species-ism, and other minor “-isms” within the larger context of “Classism.” Classism exists across the board, so to speak, and is included even within the sub-groups who claim to be victims of any particular “-ism.” To understand Racism, one must first understand Classism. Classism is not particular to any Soul Age as it might be guessed to be of Young Soul origin. It is not. Classism exists even within the gentler Old Soul communities, as well. We will define Classism as “the inherent need for identity that creates the illusion of division within social constructs.” Classism in not linked to particular Soul Ages because it is actually linked to particular Overleaves, which can be used in any lifetime by any Soul Age or Essence. Classism tends to be rooted in the interesting dynamic within a society as it is defined by the predominant Centering. In nearly all cases, the Classism moves in this direction: Intellect over Emotional over Moving. Inherent within Races, there ARE certain genetic inclinations that make that particular Race more potentially Moving, Intellectual, or Emotional in Centering. Naturally, the darker the pigmentation of skin, the more inclined that Race is toward Moving. The lack of pigmentation tends an inclination toward Intellect. This is NOT a rule, but an INCLINATION. We do not say, nor do we mean to imply, that there is a rule to define Centering based on skin color. In nearly all cases of Slavery and Racism within your history, the basis has almost entirely been based in differing Centers. When Centers are the same, the Classism moves to division based next on the PART. So, even within a society of intellectually centered Caucasians, the Emotional PARTs will usually take dominance over the Moving PARTs. This seemingly “natural” hierarchy is NOT VALID, of course, but is based in the vague longing toward “perfection.” Inherent in all fragments is that “longing”, however vague or clear. This longing is from the sense of separation and the apparent struggle to rise beyond that that seems to epitomize that separation: the Physical Plane. The Physical Plane is the most “separated” you will EVER be from anything; even internally there is the greatest rift you will ever experience as the division between “you” and Essence. If there could ever be an “original sin” identified, we believe it would be more accurate to identify the unconscious misinterpretation of the Physical Plane as a trap that must be risen above. By extension, this misinterpretation has manifested in many divisive ways. ALL “-isms” are a means to gain that illusory rise above what is most symbolic of what has trapped you here. If you examine your films, literature, history, you will find that most forms of SERIOUS praise and awards are given to those of intellectual stature. Frivolous forms of praise and awards are given to the more emotional categories of entertainment, charity, and the more moving centered sports. As we said that Classism is not exclusive to any Soul Age, we CAN say that the Mature Soul Age does the greatest work in alleviating as much of this as is possible within a Sentient Species. As can be seen in your world today, more and more methods of honoring all forms of Centering are coming forth and being taken far more seriously. With all of this being said, we must make it clear that Classism IS NOT a result of Centering, but a result of Fear, or Chief Feature. This fear is simply justified through the tool of Centering. The Exalted Chief Features will almost always be the dominant oppressor over the Ordinal Chief Features, many times despite the Centering. We will continue now with your questions for us. Otherwise, this is a strong foundation for beginning to understand the dynamics behind divisions within Class, Race, Gender, etc. QUESTIONS? [sam-nemo] What is the origin of races? How did they begin? I read a story in the Urantia book. [M_Entity] The origins of races is a grand topic, but we can say that we agree that the species eventually used by what is our Sentience began approximately 8 million years ago in what is now known as East Africa. [sam-nemo] To shorten the topic, did they pop up at one time or were they affected by genetic manipulation or alien experiments? [M_Entity] The varying Races had their development in part due to nomadic movement across lands, but more due to the genetic splicing effects when our Sentience moved to this planet. To respond to your question “in short,” we believe the “genetic manipulation” had more to do with varying Races than anything. Approximately 6 million years ago, the most dramatic divisions began. This was based on the genetic splicing and the care that the “aliens” had in creating the most effective and practical genetic bodies for the varying locations seeded. [MaryBV] How much of racism is based on bad past life experiences with or as part of a culture/people? [M_Entity] We would have to say that ANTI-racism is more indicative of past life experiences with or as part of a culture/people. Racism in its truest form is based in LACK of experiences. [Val] Please expand on the word “trapped” in your explanation and Exalted chief features, what is your meaning is? [M_Entity] We meant the word “trapped” literally, as in a confining and unchosen/unwanted condition of which there is great difficulty in escaping. The Exalted Chief Features are Greed, Arrogance, and Impatience. Because “you” exist primarily as “spirit,” the confines of the Physical Plane from the very beginning are quite uncomfortable and the challenges inherent to the Physical Plane are quite a shock to Essence. This affects the lifetimes in ways that are conscious and unconscious, leading nearly all extant to seek a vague sense of “somewhere else,” or “home,” be that in another person, a career, another location, or even another life, etc. This seeking eventually finds a balance and turns into “spirituality,” and eventually, as well, you realize you have never actually left “home.” [JNelson] Why would genetics predispose certain people towards certain overleaves? [M_Entity] Overleaves ARE genetic. Personality, while affected by environment, education, conditioning, is primarily based in genetics, in the same way a Body is. There is, literally, a gene that predisposes a Personality toward Intellect, as there is also a gene that predisposes a Personality toward Moving. We remind you that we say PREDISPOSES. This is overridden or flowed with as the life unfolds and choices and reactions are experienced. The Personality, even as it is defined by our system, is a biological description. In some parallels where genetic identification and manipulation is more accurate and acceptable, Personalities can be altered or at least identified and described quite early in a child’s life. This can and will be abused, of course, but as its more practical uses are found in some parallels it is a form of healing and/or preparation for a child’s life. [JNelson] So do fragments incarnate into specific bodies simply because they’re programmed with the desired overleaves already or would the fragment reprogram the overleaves itself upon incarnation? [M_Entity] The Overleaves are chosen first, as the Soul ages, and then the closest parental genetic pool is chosen to create the body. In early incarnations, predominate Essence dynamics usually determines the body a Soul uses, based on an already-defined Personality developing. For instance, a female body is 100% Female Energy (or Creative Energy) when a Soul is not using it. An Essence with predominantly Creative Energy in its ratio will be inclined to have female bodies in their earlier lives. Later, the Essence will more consciously choose against this as a means to learn balance and other various lessons. Eventually, the Energy Ratio can be used effectively regardless of the body’s gender. Infant Souls do not discriminate their choices of bodies as they would simply rather be born as soon as possible to escape the discomfort of being dead. Eventually, as the lessons of survival teach, they learn to choose and create more and more consciously. As the Soul learns, the creation of a lifetime and a body becomes an art form. If there are no more questions, we will say good night.
  3. Michael Speaks Live How Reincarnation Works -- Part I June 28, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we will talk about reincarnation, and how it works. Many of our students come to our teaching with presumptions of how reincarnation works, and most never ask about it. As our teaching is built from the questions of our students, and not from our simply deciding what you should know, the subject of reincarnation has been overlooked, despite its being such an intrinsic premise of this teaching. Much of what we will share today will not be new, but it may come together in a succinct way that is new for many. The primary understanding of how reincarnation works is quite accurate, but is simply not the whole story. Reincarnation IS linear. It does move forward in a way that reflects an evolution. So what has been shared in terms of this linear progression is certainly not misleading. It is just that there is more to it than that. So we will not be contradicting anything you already know from us. If there were no linear progression there would be no Soul Ages. So we will begin in our elaboration by saying that time and space of the Physical Plane are profoundly alive, made of an energy that does not "die," and is dynamic beyond what is currently understood as fact in sciences. It is speculated in many ways through mysticism and quantum physics, but as Essence, it is not speculation or magical. As we deliver this through Troy, there may be pauses as he unpacks new concepts or rearranges them into meaningful ways. Delivery speed will increase as we go. To help you understand how reincarnation works, we will use familiar tools and experiences as analogy. In this case, to start off, think of the Physical Plane as something more like an ocean into which one dives for an incarnation. If the ocean is the Physical Plane, then its container and depths are "space" while currents and movement of waves are "time." When you incarnate, your Essence never truly "dives" into that water. It is represented by its creation. "You." The vessel through which the dive is made possible. The beacon with which Essence remains connected to the Body is the Instinctive Center. Essence cannot swim, so to speak, so it can only "watch" from a distance, metaphorically speaking, of course. Once the body/Personality is created, those first 7 years are almost entirely in the hands of the caretakers raising the child, acting as extensions of the caretakers/parents. Those 7 years are the only years in which the choices of the Personality are not fully its own. There are either choices being made from an anatomic state, or being made on behalf of the child by the caretakers. This anatomic state is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center. It is based on a combination of the programming from Essence, and the survival mechanisms of the body. Over the course of those 7 years, the brain is then capable of generating the field that will be understood as the consciousness of that Personality. But it can take between 3 and 7 years for any body, regardless of Soul Age, to generate the capacity for consciousness to be sustained by the Body and Personality. Until that spark of consciousness lights up, the brain is only remembering in terms of sensory perceptions relative to survival, even if it is storing a great deal more. Anything stored beyond the necessity for survival can be retrieved once the consciousness is activated. To simplify this picture, it is as if Essence programs a disc, pops it into the body as it is being formed, and upon first breath, that body is on its own until it gains its first spark of consciousness. As consciousness expands in that Personality/Body, so does its capacity to give space and time to Essence. As "you" begin to expand in awareness of Essence, then Essence is no longer relegated to a passive position. It can begin to experience the world with you, through you, AS you. This is important to understand as it speaks to the process of the Internal Monads we describe. As each Internal Monad is fulfilled in the Positive Pole, a greater window of time and space is given to Essence through you. The Internal Monads describe how you allow Essence to exist through you, as you. Soul Age, on the other hand, describes how YOU progress toward existing through Essence, AS Essence. In Infant Soul lifetimes, the gap between Essence and Personality is the farthest, if you will, while the gap between Essence and Personality in the older Soul Ages closes. Within each Soul Age, the gap between Essence and Personality is farthest during the 1st Internal Monad, and closes as one moves through the 7th. This will be important to understand in a few moments. The Instinctive Center is something that is born of every Body. It is a blank disc, or "drive," if you will, in every body. Essence does not separate itself from the disc that is "inserted" into a body, but rather gives a COPY to that body. The "original" version remains with Essence. The "copy" is left with the Body/Personality. This is from which the Life Plan, Life Task, Agreements, genetic emphases, and Overleaves will arise for that body. The "copy" and the "original" are on a Frequency that is exactly the same as the Frequency of Essence, which is unique to that Essence and no other. Each of our students are fairly familiar with Frequency in terms of how one processes experiences, and so forth, and you may know your Frequency as 70 or 35 or 55, etc., but in terms of Essences, your Frequency number includes a massive string of decimal points beyond that number, entirely unique to you. That Frequency keeps Essence linked to the Instinctive Center "disc" that was inserted into a life. Regardless of how the brain will function for that Personality, that Instinctive Center will record everything experienced. Everything. It is the local Akashic Records of the body. In even the most resistant and limited of Personalities, the Instinctive Center "uploads" all new data to Essence every 7 years. So even if a Personality actively and effectively rejects Essence, that Essence will still get its updates about that Personality and those updates will "write" onto the original copy of the "disc" that is with Essence. That original copy that is with Essence is always with Essence and is updated in each of these 7 year Reviews, and in after death Review. However, that "copy" that was given to the Personality is forever unique to that Personality. It will not be destroyed, nor lost. Over the course of your incarnations as Essence, the Personalities that "you" were never die, either. In the same way that Entities are comprised of fragments who are Essence, Essence is comprised of fragments who are Personalities. "You," as Essence, are everything you have ever been, while "you" as Personality are utterly and entirely unique to who you are, every single lifetime. There will never be another "you." In either sense of the word. In those early incarnations, and soul ages, when Essence and Personality are at the greater distances apart, this is why the idea of having one life is emphasized. It is not inaccurate. You, as YOU, live but once. But even this is a bit of a misnomer. And this is where we will be venturing into some difficult territory for some. As each lifetime is generated, each Personality brought to life, each copy of a disc made for a Personality as a beacon for Essence, and even as each body dies, Essence is never limited by this in terms of its existence through any given Personality. Every Personality remains "alive" and existing for Essence along the way, easily revisited. It will not matter that for that Personality, it has experienced death of the body. Essence can simply "rewind" without losing its linear progression and revisit each and every Personality. There is a reason for this. Because every single Personality has choice, there will be many along the way that do not choose Essence. Many more than one would think. As part of the process of moving from one Soul Age to the next, it becomes a priority for Essence to scan back across the lifetimes lived as that Soul Age, and "collect" as many of those Personalities as possible. By the time one reaches the 7th Level of any Soul Age, the Personality that is at that 7th Level, even if 7th Level Infant, has expanded its consciousness enough to give room to Essence to move through the Plane of Time and Space to look for those Personalities that had rejected Essence. The 7th Level Personality lives as a kind of conduit, not only for its relationship with its own Essence, but also for all of the Personalities that came before it within that Soul Age. Because of this, not only is Essence linked to all of those previous Personalities and their copies of Instinctive Center, but that 7th Level Personality is, as well. The process of leaving a Soul Age, then, is like a telescoping reunion of sorts, bringing home any Personality that could not do so on its own. Until that happens, regardless of the experience of death for that body, that lifetime is literally being lived, over and over, looping, continuing in multitudes of variation. Because of that looping of the lifetime, the Instinctive Center that is unique to that Personality continues to be filled with data. Continues to transmit to Essence. That Personality evolves on its own. In its own time, at its own pace, and by the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence, enough so to bring them home. Each Soul Age will often continue to have a handful of Personalities "left behind" regardless of that process of reunion because they simply have not expanded in consciousness to the point of allowing Essence to collect them. So at the 7th Level of each Soul Age, it is not only a process of collecting those within that Soul Age, but also a process of collecting from any Soul Age already completed. The 7th Level Old Soul, then, is extremely busy in this regard, linked to every remaining Personality across time that has not yet come to be collected. This is part of why it is difficult for us to give you Past Life information without some qualification, and often only in terms of distinct qualities that defined that lifetime. Because if there is a past life with which you resonate, it is likely a part of you still incarnating, having looped multiple times so that the variations on that lifetime are profound. This becomes more likely the further back in time and space we must look, while more recent lifetimes are fairly clear. That is because, as older souls, there are fewer of these looping anchors in "your" past. When you "cycle" off the Physical Plane, your Essence is then every single Personality it has ever been. Every Personality has come home. Every Personality has evolved to a point of consciousness that allowed for its ride home. This is important to understand because each of you are vital to that process. You are not merely a stepping stone for Essence. You ARE Essence. This is why suicide is useless, as well. It ends nothing. And even if the appeal of "starting over" is high, the disc that is unique to you is loaded back up and you must learn from within that all over again. We have said to our students that each Soul Age LEVEL is the completion of 7 Internal Monads. That is true. And it will take as many lifetimes as necessary, since not every Personality will complete the set of 7 Internal Monads. But Essence does not progress beyond a LEVEL within a Soul Age until at least one Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads within that single lifetime. However, with this new understanding you may have about how Personalities remain locked in a loop of incarnations, building upon its unique Instinctive Center, we can now tell you that every single Personality ever created will, eventually, complete every Internal Monad. That is how each of them go home, reuniting with its source, Essence. We have much more to say on this subject, of course, and we have yet to address concurrents and parallels, but this is a start. We will open the floor now for a few questions, but must conclude fairly soon for Troy. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** Janet: if the 'spark of consciousness' never lights up before the death of a child, what happens to the child's copy of its Essence 'disc'? Is it still a personality to be collected? MEntity: Yes. That incarnation will "loop" again and again for the sake of eventually living a full life. Keep in mind that there are parallels where that child may not have died, and this helps allow for the looping to be avoided, if possible. We misread your question. If the child is under 3 years old, or that spark of consciousness does not ignite, there is almost always a parallel where the life is longer, and the spark ignites. However, when that is not the case, and there are no parallels generated to accommodate the life, that "disc" will be used as "the next life." This is often the case in crib deaths, for instance. Does this answer your question? Janet: Yes. Thank you. BillG: Question: what is the fate of the focus personality after death of the body since it is the essence, not the personality, which is reincarnating? MEntity: For those Personalities who complete Review and reunite with Essence, it is quite similar to how one reunites with one's Entity as an Essence. The Essence houses the Personality in a way that allows for that Personality to continue evolving, but on the Astral Plane. It basically gets to "do whatever it wants." It is how the concept of "heaven" came about. The Personality gets to play, explore, create, and generate fantastical worlds to share. In many cases, a Personality will come to be the contact point for another fragment still incarnating, and that is how your own Essence can act as a "guide" for others. That is also how guides can often still have "personality.” The mid-Astral Plane is where your Personalities "live" once they are done in the Physical Plane, and they become accessible to "you" as part of your own network of support, guidance, wisdom, etc. as you expand your consciousness. You are never alone, in that regard, and what is "Essence" is forever changed by each one that comes home. Does this answer your question? BillG: Yes., thank you. Just wondering if those personalities include future selves as well as past ones MEntity: It can be complicated to explain, but yes, there are "future selves" there, as well, especially for those Personalities that are looping in their incarnations. That is a topic in itself, but the concept is valid. There is more to say, and we can always elaborate upon all of the various things a Personality can do after Review. Paulyboy: Hi Michael – Bill's question answered my original, so – Could you expand please upon the various things a personality can do after review? Like, have other lifetimes, be born as a dragon in some fantasy world, fly a starship in some sort of “Star Trek” like universe, be born a different gender on an alternate 20th century Earth, etc.? Expand please I find this awesome and interesting Rather, in the mid Astral plane, after "coming home" Thank you Watch versions of your favorite movie where the ending didn't "suck" from a slightly different parallel? Etc.? Anyway, just prattling on here. MEntity: All of the above, and then some. Keep in mind that this will have been within the Astral Plane. It is as real as the Physical Plane, of course, but simply in a different way with different physics. In addition to all of the creative ways one can live in the Astral, the Personality can also visit any of the previous Personalities still incarnating, act as a guide, support, etc. This is often the case for most who are 6th Level. This is why those at the 6th Level feel a bizarre sense of feeling protected and safe, even if life crumbles around them. There is a knowing that is new, and that is partially because that Personality is connecting with the truth of its many selves beyond any challenges. Surprisingly, many Personalities find themselves eager to help, support, and learn in ways that are not escapist. There are phases of adaptation that we can delineate that each Personality goes through once residing in the Astral. We can explore this in further exchanges with you. ConnorB: What role does a Personality play, if any, in the planning of a subsequent lifetime? MEntity: Connor, they play a vital role, if there is reunion. If the Personality remains in a loop, then Essence will use the data gathered so as to evolve itself and create further lifetimes, but in the case where a Personality returns to Essence, or when a Personality is manifesting Essence, then there is high involvement in creating "the next" lifetime. That is, if they choose to be. ViP1: I hope this question doesn't come across the "wrong" way but I've had it queued up for some time. Some spiritual teachings hold that it is possible, while physically incarnated, to cut the experience of reincarnation short by bringing oneself (through meditation or possibly other practices) into a state of experiencing oneself as being the "creator", or I suppose what would be called Tao in your teaching, and training oneself to stay in that state, even as the physical body and what it experiences via the senses is still perceived. And that there would eventually come a point where that state would become self-perpetuating, with no further individual effort required. And that upon the death of the physical form, one will remain in the experience of oneness with Tao, with no further reincarnations or experiences on any of the planes. (Not including Grand Cycles.) Is such a thing actually possible, irrespective of whether it might be considered desirable or not? If not, then what would you say these teachings might actually be describing, if it would be something you could comment on? MEntity: First, the concept is absurd. There are no shortcuts. Second, the concept is generated to bring false comfort. It is the equivalent of spiritual suicide. Those who would subscribe to the concept will be in for a big surprise. Bobby: By the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence. Does the review only take place at the 7th level or does it happen for each personality just after death? MEntity: Review will happen after every death, but that Review determines if there is return to Essence, or continuation in the loop. It is not *quite* that simple, but it is the response we can get through for now. We must conclude here for tonight. We have exhausted our channel. Good evening or good day or good morning to each of you. July 6, 2015 Question asked during Ask Michael session JanaK: I have a followup question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” thrown out, which I would like more clarification on. I will state how I understood it, so please correct anything that I have misunderstood. So if I understand it correctly, what determines whether the Personality is stuck, is whether they do or don’t complete the Review and reunite with Essence. If they don’t complete it and don’t unite with Essence, then they keep literally reincarnating, living through variations on the same lifetime (presumably this happens in separate parallels). They keep doing this, until they evolve enough to be able to reunite with Essence, in which they sometimes need to be helped. You have also said, that in this way they all do get to eventually complete all 7 IMs. Yet, I also thought one can complete Review and reunite with Essence without completing all 7 IMs? Are all personalities stuck until they have lived in some way (parallel or looping) till 7th IM in positive? MEntity: Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc., will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. Those Personalities that fall into a loop are those that do not complete an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, or resign to the Negative Pole of an Internal Monad. That Personality will "loop" until it has completed the Internal Monad relative to what it had been trying to complete, and then it can move into Review. However, it is quite common that these Personalities will just continue to completion of all 7 Internal Monads, however many loops that would take. It Reviews, but mostly for the sake of updating Essence. The Personality is not quite capable of full comprehension until there is at least one Personality that has completed all 7 Internal Monads. Then the gathering of all Personalities from the Soul Age compile experiences for Review that launches the Essence into the next Soul Age. Because of the uniting of experiences and processes, then all Personalities that are a part of that benefit and, technically, each completes all 7 Internal Monads relative to their own lives. Those Personalities in a loop will have done so for themselves by this time, and will join the evolution into the next Soul Age, or will remain and continue in their loops, until either the completion of the 7th Internal Monad on their own, or help comes. Each of you will likely have several "loops" that will need to be collected from across your Soul Ages when you get to your 7th Level of the Old Soul Age. How Reincarnation Works -- Part II
  4. June 17, 2007 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS – E-mail Alternative Version In the beginning of June, we had a humpback mother whale and her baby swim up the Carquinez Strait (which I can see from my condo's balcony), into the Sacramento river, all the way to the Port of Sacramento. They were the only wild whales that received antibiotics for very bad injuries they received from possibly a keel of a sailboat. They got named Delta & Dawn. Are the Michaels able to find out how well they are doing now, if they are safe, well, and healthy? MEntity: It appears to us that the whales in question are doing well. Although there was disorientation involved to some degree, the main intent of the whales was for fun exploration of an area that has a reputation among whales as being mysterious, fantastic, and full of kind humans with the best interest of whales at heart. The wounds on the whale were sensed to be fairly fatal in the long run, due to infection, so while the “trip” was to be for fun and exploration, there was also the hope that the kind humans could help. Indeed, they did with the antibiotics, allowing for the whales to have validation of this potential among humans and the reports are spreading. We would not be surprised to find more whales exploring this same passage within the next 20 years. It is always assumed these creatures are lost, but it is often not the case. However, the same is assumed of your species while out on the open ocean. Why would you be there? It’s not your natural habitat or home. You must be lost. Often the interaction between whales and boats is from the same concern that humans have for whales in strange territories: they are hoping to redirect you home. Does brushing your skin with a boar bristle brush, brushing in the direction of your heart, really help the lymphatic system? MEntity: While it is not necessary to use the hairs of a dead animal as bristles, any medium-strength bristle brush (synthetic or otherwise) used to brush the skin is beneficial for the lymphatic system, the skin, and the blood. It is not necessary for the direction to be toward the heart, but this can add to the effect in a mental way that is valid as a ritual. I would like to know Michael's opinion on my problem of determining how far one needs to go to know that they are walking the walk rather than talking the talk. I want to live up to my beliefs, but it seems impossible to do 100%. How much is enough not to be a hypocrite? MEntity: “Beliefs” is a word that represents all the things that you presume to be possible or true, and seek to implement within your Being as foundations, but you do not have the experience or comprehension to turn those beliefs into knowledge. When you KNOW something, you implement it 100%. When you BELIEVE something, you may or may not implement the entirety of the belief. Older Souls in particular have a difficult time implementing beliefs until there is a sense of solid knowledge. Until you gain knowledge, all you have is a theory, not a truth. The lack of ability to implement a belief is not a matter of hypocrisy, but a matter of integrity that allows room for further investigation, experience, and eventually knowledge. Hypocrisy is only valid as a reference when one imposes beliefs upon others without doing the work of turning those personal beliefs into knowledge. It is called hypocrisy because there is always a discrepancy between the imposition and the behavior of the hypocrite, with the hypocrite using imposition as his or her way of avoiding knowledge, while enforcing false validation of his or her own beliefs. What is a transcendent soul (not the transcendental soul level)? My understanding is it is the same as what is called in India a Bodhisattva. MEntity: A Transcendental Soul is an Entity that takes on the task of incarnating within the Physical Plane as a means to help prepare for the manifestation of the Infinite Soul. The entire Entity does not incarnate, but one fragment from the Entity incarnates with full access to the entirety of the Entity's knowledge and experience. The fragment speaks and lives on behalf of the Entity. Although it could be said that there are parallels between the description of a bodhisattva and Transcendental Souls, Transcendental Souls are not resisting or avoiding any form of “enlightenment” as a means to remain physical. Most fragments or Entities or Cadres, by the time they reach what might be called a “state of enlightenment,” realize at that point that there is no “state of enlightenment,” as there is always more to learn, experience, and explore. Enlightenment is not a conclusive state. In addition to this difference between bodhisattva and Transcendental Souls, the Transcendental Soul is only concerned with INVITING fragments into a direction that is in alignment with the Logos that is to be brought to bear, but does not have a sense of compulsion to “save humanity.” In most cases of a “bodhisattva,” it is a single fragment who has egocentrically taken on this title as a means to exploit a position with a closed group, but certainly not as a benefit to humanity. We know of no fragment extant who uses the title or nickname of “Bodhi” to be without extreme indulgence in False Personality. In what time frame and location area were the most of us Michael students incarnate & interacting at the same time? MEntity: Nearly all of our students (approximately 100,000 of you) were incarnated within the areas known as The Nile River in Egypt and Mesopotamia between the years of 2500 and 1700 BCE before the invasion by the Hyksos, which ruined what we often refer to as one of our “Golden Ages” with our students. How best can we deal with others, when we find ourselves to be in opposition with their lifestyles and belief systems, to the point of some having physical and emotional pain over it? And, is ignoring their choices, to let them be who they are, somehow reflect that we are encouraging those choices by attending something that they are attached to? (We have been discussing certain celebrities, and the choices they make involving fundamental religions and cults.) MEntity: How one deals with one who is determined as being in opposition to one’s personal lifestyle and belief systems is a matter of choice and part of the experience of being Sentient. Soul Age plays a great part in how one deals with those who represent opposition to one's personal lifestyle and beliefs. Infant Souls would not have an inclination to be concerned with differences in lifestyles and beliefs, as they are more concerned with their own survival and superstitions; in fact, any oppositions would simply be seen as mythical forces representing demons of a sort that should be avoided at all costs. Baby Souls are the most violent and dominant against those in opposition to their lifestyles and beliefs, generally seeking any method possible to impose their own world over those around them. Young Souls are usually not concerned with whether others share in their beliefs and lifestyle, since they presume they are inherently “right” in how they view the world, anyway. They know “the truth” and there is a smug conclusiveness about their behavior, which in itself can be dominating and imposing. Mature Souls are very concerned about shared perceptions of reality and supporting those of which are beneficial to all. When there is a belief or lifestyle presented in the world that is in opposition to the benefit of all, this often creates a literal, physical pain within the Mature Soul. This pain comes from the personal history (within the life, or past lives) that knows the pain of oppression, rejection, and imposition. The process of taking stances against beliefs or lifestyles that are in opposition to the benefit of all is a process of healing one's own personal wounds, while increasing one's circle of compassion in a tangible way. Old Souls within your world at this time are still manifesting a great deal of the self through Mature Soul contexts, so you will find many Old Souls still working through Mature Soul stances, not only because many Old Souls are manifesting at the Mature Soul Age, but also because this helps the process of the Mature Soul world to take root permanently. Part of the point of being an Old Soul is in use of the ability to manifest from any previous Soul Age as a means to relate to all aspects of the world. The dominant energy in the world for most at this time is the Mature Soul context, so many Old Souls will find themselves still very passionate about issues in which they would otherwise find neutrality (not indifference, but neutrality). So in speaking about Old Souls, it makes sense to speak of them in terms of the Mature Soul at this time, which means that most will be contributing to any movement that is linked to the benefit of all. As long as the world is moving in the direction of Maturity, the active stance one takes on issues that inhibit compassion and freedom for all is quite important in terms of rooting Maturity in the world. No one is obligated to take a stance or to contribute to this rooting of Maturity, of course, but the contribution to this Maturity does accelerate for all, the more actively the species invests in those beliefs and lifestyles that benefit all. This stance is not a confusing issue for the Mature Soul, but for the Old Soul, it can be confusing as he or she stands in support of the lifestyles and beliefs that support the benefit of all, but still feels a sense of higher perspective that trusts that all lifestyles and beliefs are valid, even if destructive, and will eventually be of benefit to all, anyway. The Mature Soul still knows how important it is to invest in the betterment of life on the Physical Plane, while many Old Souls can often forget the importance of that, since they are “leaving soon,” anyway.
  5. MICHAEL SPEAKS - June 14, 2009 - OPEN FLOOR [Michael Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here now. [QUESTION] Michael. This may seem terribly "basic;" however, due to discussions amongst students, I've become confused about how the various Soul Age Levels apply to Essence's growth and development. When Essence first starts incarnating as an Infant soul, is it actually an Infant soul that then grows and develops as each level is achieved? In other words, do completing Internal Monads in positive pole, Soul Level, and Age, apply to Essence's development? Could you please clarify? [Michael Entity] We think we understand your question and will attempt to respond appropriately. What we would remind you of, first, is that what evolves is the ROLE in Essence. We realize that the terms "Essence" and "Role" are used interchangeably, and fairly so, but they are quite different in technical terms. Much like your Personality and Essence are truly "one," they are still not the same things, technically. For the sake of this response, we will use the terminology of Essence for the part of you that exists with or without a Role. We will use Role to refer to the specific medium through which Essence experiences itself in relation to other fragments sharing a similar agenda, and sharing an intent to be a part of the spiritual ecology of a particular system, such as Earth, all of its life forms, and more specifically, Human Sentience. The PERSONALITY experiences evolution within a single lifetime, from its Infancy to Death. Within that time frame, it goes through rites of passages relative to its physical and psychological age progression and our channels refer to those as Internal Monads. The ROLE also goes through stages that our channels refer to as Internal Monads, which is a different scale than that of the Personality. To help in clarifying this differentiation, we think it would be a good idea to refer to the Internal Monads of the Personality as "The Seven Rites of Passages" as a means to differentiate from the Seven Internal Monads of the Role. The Seven Rites of Passage are still, technically, Internal Monads, but specific to the Personality. Not all stages, or Rites of Passage during a life will be experienced or completed within a single lifetime because of physiological or psychological interruptions, limitations, and interferences. ROLE experiences evolution from its first physical lifetime through its last physical incarnation, even if by proxy (Transcendental or Infinite*). Role's evolution is measured by Internal Monads, as well, but these are relative to the progression through the Soul Levels that you find in the Soul Ages. The Role's evolution through each Level is dependent on each Personality's efforts to progress through its own Rites of Passages. The further a Personality can progress through its Rites of Passages in the positive poles, the further the Role is progressed through its own Internal Monads. The 7 Internal Monads for the Role are the 7 stages of EACH LEVEL of the Soul Ages. Since it can take several Personalities (incarnations) to finally get through the 7 Life Stages, both physiologically and psychologically, it goes that it also takes that many lifetimes for a Role to progress from one level to the next in a Soul Age. With this understanding, you could say that it takes 7 successful Rites of Passages to equate the 7 successful Internal Monads of the Role. The process for the 7 Rites of Passages takes place within the physiological and psychological boundaries of the Personality, whereas the 7 Internal Monads take place within the levels of Essence/Role and is built upon the processes of the Personality. [ADDITIONAL ELABORATION from TROY] There are a couple of ways this evolution happens: COMMON PROCESS (classic process) Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who is just starting the 5th Level. 5th Level Personality # 1 : lives to 12 years old; finishes the 2nd Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 2 : lives to 25 years old; finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 3 : lives to 50 years old: finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 4 : lives to 52 years old; finishes 3rd Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 5 : lives to 60 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 6 : lives to 45 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 7 : lives to 55 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 8 : lives to 72 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 9 : lives to 65 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 10 lives to 25 years old; finishes 6th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 11 lives to 17 years old; finishes 7th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 7 Rites of Passages Completed; 7 Internal Monads Completed = 5th LEVEL Completed NEXT LIFETIME = 6th Level; and a completely new cycle through the 7 Rites of Passage/7 Internal Monads as a process toward the next soul level/age. Notice that a "short" lifetime can still quickly build upon the collection of past Rites of Passage as a means to "quickly" move into the later Passages. It is often the case that if only the 6th and 7th are remaining, a child will generate a terminal illness early in the life, speeding the process of awareness of mortality and impending death as a means to sum up the Rites of Passages, Internal Monads, and Level. RARE or NON-Classic Process: In some lifetimes, it is of interest to the Older Soul to transit a Level WITHIN the lifetime. This is rare, but not so rare for Older Souls. When this happens, the lifetime is quite literally "two lifetimes in one." There are a multitude of reasons for choosing this process, and here's how it works: Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who decides to transit Soul Levels within a lifetime. Only the 6th and 7th Rites were not completed for the 5th Level, so rather than have a short life, or die when the 6th and 7th Rites are completed, the lifetime continues into a new cycle of Rites of Passages. When this happens, the Personality literally goes through a phase of deep awareness of its mortality and senses an impending "death." All Rites of Passages are physiological and psychological. We often think of these as relative to the physical age, but that just so happens to be a classic pattern. The actual Rites can happen at any physical age. It's the psychological levels that are the important dimensions. That's why someone can be stuck in the 3rd Rite of Passage, but be 80 years old. It's also why a 12 year old can be processing the 6th Rite of Passage. So when a person is transiting Soul Levels during a lifetime, it means they are also completing in the positive pole the 7th Rite of Passage. When that happens, the person undergoes a kind of psychological death (7th Rite), the Soul Level transit happens, and a psychological rebirth (1st Rite) happens, regardless of physical age. The following Rites of Passage will now add an interesting process to the lifetime as the person, regardless of physical age, now processes this rebirth, and then attempts the 2nd Rite of Mobility, the 3rd Rite of Independence, etc. as far as they can go with what years are left within the lifetime. Sometimes they only get through the first or second Rite, sometimes further. [END NOTE FROM TROY] [QUESTION] Does this mean that Essence can have multiple Roles incarnating -- what makes up Grand Cycles? [Michael Entity] With all of this being said, the ROLE starts as an "infant" because it is relative to its current cycle of exploration within a specific species, but the Spark who is Essence existed long before this current Role and species. There are other species and systems through which an Essence/Spark has already explored, from the initial choosing of a Role to its reunion with Tao. We refer to the entirety of this process as a Grand Cycle. Your Role does not change during one of these Grand Cycles, but once that Grand Cycle is completed, the Role is discarded, along with all of its dynamics, such as Frequency and Male/Female Energy Ratios, Essence Twins, Task Companions, Entities, Cadres, etc. and when a new Grand Cycle is chosen, all of those elements are chosen anew. [COMMENT] so, it's the Role that cycles off [Michael Entity] The Grand Cycle is to your Essence/Spark, what each Personality is to your Role. Most fragments within the Human Species have an average of 3 Grand Cycles. Most of our students, which is one Energy Ring, or 12 Cadres, share an average of 9 Grand Cycles. Essence does not evolve without the Role and the Role does not evolve without the Personality. Personality does not evolve without the 7 Rites of Passages. We realize we meandered through a response as a means to help provide context for our response. Did this answer you sufficiently for now? [COMMENT] Oh, indeed! Much more than I expected . . .everything clicked into place; thank you! [COMMENT] for me too!:) [COMMENT] Same here [COMMENT] wow; this is amazing good stuff - thank you [Michael Entity] In conclusion, the Essence/Spark DOES evolve, but it is on a different scale of measurement. There is a time when the Essence/Spark is an "infant," so to speak, but it inherently retains all of the qualities of Tao. The Essence/Spark's scale of evolution is of such a scale that the results would be difficult to comprehend. From what we understand, each Essence/Spark eventually runs its own universe, eventually fragmenting itself and continuing the spectacular creativity that is Tao, becoming its own "god," if you will. But this is not something one need concern oneself with as you consider how to pay your bills and get along with your loved ones. The number of Grand Cycles does have some effect on the way a Role will show up, even in its first Infant lifetime. Those with higher Grand Cycles can tend to seem much wiser than those with fewer Grand Cycles, which is why Entities and Cadres who share an average of Grand Cycles tend to incarnate quite tightly at first so that no one "sticks out." As the Role evolves, the Entities and Cadres "spread out" and are more capable of blending in with other fragments who may have more or less Grand Cycles. [COMMENT] Sometimes, I think we incarnate to escape the complexities of it all...we come here to stop and smell the roses so to speak [Michael Entity] We would agree, especially for those lifetimes having a Goal of Flow or Re-evaluation. Next question. [QUESTION] Back to basics 101 - I need a refresher on how to break the hold of the negative pole of Flow - Stagnation/Inertia. Would Michael offer some practical suggestions on dealing with this problem when it is hard just to do/start anything? I hope this is general enough - dealing with the negative pole of Flow. ( And yes, I see NCF playing a role in this as well, :) ) I think I'm stuck smelling the roses in only one place, hehehe [Michael Entity] One of the most effective ways of breaking Inertia is to surrender to it. This may seem counter to the intent, but one of the things that keeps a person locked in Inertia is the sense of "running in place," or "doing a lot of nothing." When one can surrender to the gravity that seems to keep one in place, the footing can be regained, or the sense of productivity and fulfillment can be regained. The point of having a Goal of Flow is to learn how to navigate within the currents that are natural to the life, and often those currents swirl, so to speak, or slow, or eddy. [COMMENT] . . . or get stuck on the rocks, hehe [Michael Entity] One of the greatest challenges for those in Flow is to overcome the pressure to show evidence and justification for their presence. [COMMENT] and NCF gets you on that part, for sure [COMMENT] oh boy do I get that... [COMMENT] me too [COMMENT] same here [COMMENT] It certainly affected me and I'm not in Flow [COMMENT] definitely me too [Michael Entity] When a fragment chooses Flow as a Goal, it is because there is an interest in the nuances and subtleties of existence and this increases the sensitivity of the Personality. [COMMENT] a big Ah [COMMENT] I second that! [COMMENT] So, smell that rose until it blackens, shrivels, and dries :) [COMMENT] .... and then make potpourri! [COMMENT] hehehe [COMMENT] yes! [COMMENT] lol [Michael Entity] This sensitivity is heightened so as to develop an intuitive grasp of the life and its natural flow, much like one might have when navigating a boat, skateboard, or other vehicle of momentum that pulls all of the senses together to calculate navigation without having to over analyze. [COMMENT] I understand this completely [COMMENT] hmm, maybe why this is why I think well while driving, lol; driving alone that is [COMMENT] I absolutely understand the idea of subtle navigation [Michael Entity] However, this sensitivity then leads to an awareness of all of the subtleties of one's "insides," so to speak, so all of the areas within oneself that are not flowing freely are felt, too. [COMMENT] perhaps that is part of the problem - a feeling that the natural flow is being blocked and feeling uncomfortable with that and wanting to 'flow' again - and not quite seeing how to get back there. [Michael Entity] Often, the Personality will turn to external environments for the solution to the lack of freedom within. [COMMENT] hence the inertia... [Michael Entity] Flowing externally and can help the flow, internally, but often it can take internal adjustments, as well. [COMMENT] ok [COMMENT] empty the well - so; it can be refilled [Michael Entity] Both the internal and external are connected, and one can help the other, but when one is neglected over the other, it can cause the sense of inertia, no matter how productive and free the life can seem in one area over the other. One of the most effective ways we've seen our students understand the concept of FLOW is to set alongside it the concept of PERMISSION. [COMMENT] ah to allow the flow...... [Michael Entity] When one feels the life is not flowing, internally or externally, it can help to ask where one has limited his or her sense of Permission. And often that permission is the barrier to the very simple and freeing experience of Relaxation. To relax. To embrace. To allow. To Be. Without apology or proof. [COMMENT] oh geeze, yes [COMMENT] thank you! [Michael Entity] We have more to say about this, especially in terms of how the negative pole can be shifted by using the positive pole of the other Goals, but we will elaborate on that in other sessions. Next Question [COMMENT] thank you very much, Michael [COMMENT] that was excellent; thank you :) [COMMENT] it was very freeing for me [COMMENT] quite excellent! :) [COMMENT] it [COMMENT] Today is a joy! [QUESTION] Hello Michael, my question has to do with choosing overleaves. In reviewing [between lives] does the fragment look over the whole series of incarnations to decide, or find a particular lifetime where something got missed... could you give me an example of how I chose this life's overleaves? [Michael Entity] There are basically three ways a fragment will choose its Overleaves: Randomly, Out of Curiosity, and Through Calculation. Earliest Personalities of the Infant Soul are a product of Randomness, with "random" simply meaning that no intent or calculation was involved in the choice, though choice was still involved. Late Baby through Early Mature bring Personalities that are products of Curiosity, meaning that there is more involved in the choice of Overleaves, but often with an "I wonder what would happen if..." kind of perspective. Mid Mature through Late Old can bring the most calculated Personalities, as the intent for final comprehension, integration, and commitment to the path for that fragment ensues. 7th Level Old is a free-for-all, which is why many who are truly 7th Level Old do not appear to be Old at all, since the Personalities are not of those you would presume to be so wise. But that is a perk of "getting older," in that one is no longer constrained by fears, obligations, ties, etc. and one can finally play with lifetimes in a way that are thoroughly understood as safe. [COMMENT] the perks of Old Age.....:) [Michael Entity] Some of the oldest souls on your planet are simply annoying and bring nothing of obvious value to society or to their social circles. Some of the "wisest," most spiritual and grounded of souls on your planet are far younger in soul age than one might presume, but many of these guru-like fragments are caught in the maya of what "wise" should look like, and play the role quite well. [COMMENT] I have always felt I planned all this since I was a kid [Michael Entity] The mapping of a lifetime, and the adherence to that map, vary from fragment to fragment, Personality to Personality. It would be accurate to say that you are of the more calculated choice in Overleaves and that your Personality found the mapping of your life to be of value, and adheres to that map within reason. Next question [QUESTION] abandonment - we all do this a lot , we come together, we go apart , that is life, as we know it... so, what can you tell me, that would help all of us, with this type of issue involved with our passages through our lives -- i am sure, it is a theme for many -- how deeply rooted is ABANDONMENT/does it have 7 levels; and; how do each of the 7 chief dragons affect it, like impatience, arrogance, self dep; self destruction, etc [Michael Entity] True Abandonment is of such popularity for exploration by souls that it is within the 30 "Classic" (external) Monads: the Abandoned and the Abandoner. It is quite popular for the same reasons that the other relationships are popular: it is an accelerated experience that holds great potential for learning about oneself. True Abandonment is an experience that eventually leads to a discovery of self-value and empowerment that, when discovered, is unprecedented. True Abandonment is antithesis to the truth of your resonance with others, and to experience it pushes one to question the value of oneself in ways that few other experiences push one to question in that way. The process of being abandoned, and the process of questioning, can be extremely painful until the lies are worked through and the truth is finally comprehended: that the value of self is never dependent upon the relative position one is within a relationship; and that the experience of abandonment is, ironically, due to the overblown value one has placed upon another fragment over self. [COMMENT] BINGO! [COMMENT] wow [COMMENT] (no wonder why sometimes, it is so easy to just detach) [COMMENT] what will the wind blow in next LOL sort of the like the ocean tide that deposits its treasures [COMMENT] I learned a lot of that in this go-round with my Father was a double-edged sword understanding intellectually why but an emotional hile [Michael Entity] There are 7 Circles of Abandonment that one can initiate or experience: Survival Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that is necessary for the survival of another, such as a mother abandoning a baby in a ditch. Sexual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that nurtures another in an intimate way, either literally sexually, or simply as embracing the Other as Oneself. Physical Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that was necessary for the mobility and productivity of another fragment. Emotional Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that embraces another fragment with room to Be without explanation or apology. Intellectual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of communication and exchange with another. Intuitive Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of encouragement for upholding the fulfillment of visions, dreams, and wishes. Spiritual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of guidance and clarity for the bigger picture and pattern of the life. [COMMENT] wow-this is very deep stuff--you are writing a book of great value troy/michael-as, you do this [COMMENT] that alone gives me mucho food for ponderings [Michael Entity] In instances of True Abandonment, Karma is often created. When we say True Abandonment, we mean that one has instilled oneself as a provider for a particular context, and then bails on the responsibilities of that position upon which another became dependent. When one experiences True Abandonment, the effects are valid and we do not mean to suggest that they are not, though we do suggest that most of the contexts can be overcome as the individual fragment finds his or her own sense of value. In the first context of Survival, the exploration of value is dependent upon Essence, not the Personality. The Essence will either let the life go as a means to start again in another life, or find a way to get help to the Personality that has been abandoned, if the Personality is receptive to that help. [COMMENT] And all the 7 seems to relate somehow with the 7 chakras and centers too [Michael Entity] Yes, there is a relevant parallel to the Chakras. [COMMENT] (you can NOT make someone else into something of value-they must learn to do that for themselves-otherwise, they do NOT appreciate it , as, they would, if they earned the rite of passage for themselves) [QUESTION] Every Personality can experience many abandonments which are only experience -- not Monadal levels of True Abandonment? [Michael Entity] The Monadal process of Abandoned/Abandoner would focus on a single Circle, or context, emphasizing, for instance, Sexual Abandonment or Intuitive Abandonment. The Monad of Abandoned/Abandoner can be played out multiple times across different relationships for emphasis on the different Circles, or contexts. We would also wish to clarify that we use the term True Abandonment to refer to the legitimate relinquishing of responsibilities for a position that was originally, mutually agreed upon. This is to differentiate from the INTERPRETATION of Abandonment that is merely a reaction to the disappointment that someone did not fulfill your expectations. Most instances of True Abandonment are thoroughly explored by mid to late Mature. Most instances of abandonment after that are those of interpretation and directly related to self-karmic issues (personal, internal divisions within) that one is working on resolving. Last question. [QUESTION] An Infant soul has certain characteristics. Are these Infant Soul characteristics similar to what is experienced at each level. So that a person at a level one Old soul age, will be orienting to this new Age with some of the perspective of an Infant but specifically to the Old Soul experience. [Michael Entity] That is a valid observation. It could be said that the First Level of any Soul Age is the "infant" level of that soul age, and so on. The 6th and 7th Levels of a Soul Age would resonate to the Transcendental and Infinite Soul Ages, wherein the 6th Level is a process of opening to the collective experiences of your Essence for guidance through the life, and the 7th Level is a process of openness to one's Entity for guidance for the life. While this is not a strict correlation, it is one that can help lend understanding to each Level. We will conclude here. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
  6. NYC MICHAEL SPEAKS LIVE: on Death & Dying March 12, 2011 Note from Janet: This session was transcribed by Bobby from the original video of the session. MEntity: Ok, give us a moment to settle in and we'll begin. Ok, Hello to each of you, as we come through, bear with us as we adjust to Troy's opening up to us a little bit more than he usually has to in his day to day channeling of us since it has been awhile since he's gone into a full trance for us so our communication may be halted or skewed in some way that will need correction and we will try to catch those as we communicate. We understand that your discussion subject of today is the afterlife or the process of dying and experience in between lives and we'll try to explain this to you in a way that will not only use our teaching as a map to interpret that experience but if we can we will try to do it in a way that is applicable and not just something to ponder. In other words, knowing certain people in your life that may have died or may die and understanding that process from this exchange with us, may bring some peace to yourself and to the one who has died in a way that might not have been there without this information. It might also come in handy for each of you if you find yourselves in the process of facing your own deaths. However, knowing this or not knowing it will not make much difference because once you die you will have to deal with it anyway. No matter what your beliefs are, no matter what your philosophies are, your consciousness does continue beyond what you recognize as you in your current life. It does not end, it only evolves. The consciousness that you will identify with though beyond this particular version of you is much broader than the you that you recognize in your day to day life and so there is some adjustment period to that. In the same way if you will you'll have to at some point embrace the totality of your lifetime as yourself as you age. It is not much different in that regard. In other words, at 50 years old you still have experience being a 10 year old. And part of the process of living a fulfilled life and having transited all of the Internal Monads to a successful degree, which we will get to in a moment, we will elaborate on how they are involved, in order to have that sense of fulfillment, that sense of wholeness at the age of 50, we are just picking a random age, you must remember the 10 year old within you. You must embrace that. You must acknowledge that part of you has existed and had its own perspectives that have become integrated in who you are at 50 years old. And the same applies beyond this life as a form of consciousness that explores the physical plane as yourself in this lifetime and as all of the other selves that you've been in other lifetimes. The process of that consciousness that existed throughout all of those, goes through stages of development or evolving towards wholeness and that evolution is the process of remembering or integrating all of the variations or all of the personalities that it has been. The experience of your death is often dictated by where you are in the process of your internal monads. All of the internal monads are not properly or appropriately processed during a lifetime so some for instance may be stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad and even at the age of 50 or 60 when that individual dies will have an afterlife that is often relative to the fact that he or she is stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad and the same thing applies to the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. Just to recap and to have it on record as part of the information relative to the topic, we will go over the 7 Internal Monads although we know that most of you are aware of them in our teaching. The 1st one of course is birth, the process of staying alive. The 2nd is your autonomy marked most often by your realization that you can walk or that you're independently mobile from your creator which is your parents or the identified caretakers for you in that lifetime. The 3rd is your independence which is often marked by your rebellion as a teenager in the process of becoming your own personal resource within the lifetime. The 4th is your manifestation of Essence or your becoming yourself and that is the process of relinquishing all of the imprinting that has been imposed upon you by your caretakers, your school, your culture, your society, and deciding from that pool of imprinting and influence on your nature what is true to you and then building upon that. It's basically the process of returning to a sense of innocence and enthusiasm for your life and liking yourself. The 5th Internal Monad is then the process of stripping away even your own sense of identity in the sense that you no longer are attached to who you by your own definition have decided you are and you recreate yourself. This is the recreation stage. This usually happens in what is often referred to as the senior citizen stages of life and this is where you strip yourself of everything you have thought you were and you build from scratch. And this does not mean that you lose everything that you thought you were but that you are not identified with it any longer and you learn how to play with the life that you've created. Where the 4th Internal Monad might be described as your process of discovering or creating your sense of purpose, the 5th Internal Monad would be the process of creating or discovering your sense of play. The 6th Internal Monad is the realization, the profound realization, that you are going to die and quite often includes the onset of what will kill you. In some cases this is obvious and in some cases this is not... and the acceptance of the fact that you will die, the acceptance your mortality. It could be said that the 6th Internal Monad then is your stripping away of the lifetime to allow room for the broader consciousness that you are as you exit the lifetime. Then of course, the 7th Internal Monad is the exiting of the lifetime. Birth and death may seem to be a given as they are correlations to the 1st and 7th Internal Monads but just because you are born does not mean completed or successfully processed the birth monad and just because you died does not mean you completed or processed the 7th Internal monad. Those are just markers for those internal monads and to die does not necessarily mean that you have accepted that you are dead just like being born does not mean that you accept that you are alive. Based on where you are in the process of those personal rites of passage, those 7 Internal Monads, has an effect on what you experience directly after the lifetime. So that if you are in the 2nd Internal Monad, stuck there for the life which would basically mean that you are dependent, co-dependent to a great degree, and having difficulty separating from those who you might think are responsible for you. This would affect how you process your afterlife. So that when you die, your 1st experiences will be the completion or the attempt to complete or process that 2nd Internal Monad. Because what happens is, in every single lifetime you will pick up where you left off in the process of the 7 Internal Monads. So that if you are stuck in the 2nd Internal Monad in this life, in the next life you will catch up to that point. You will still go through the 1st and 2nd Internal Monad but you must move beyond that, into the 3rd Internal Monad, or beyond if possible and if not then the next life you build upon that. Because those 7 Internal Monads but be properly and successfully transited in order for you to be able to move from one soul age level to the next. And this is not a cosmic rule in place, it is simply our way of interpreting the process and that is a consistent process that those 7 rites of passage must be integrated and processed fully before you can move to the next level of awareness or integration that were were just describing earlier. If you are stuck in the 3rd Internal Monad then of course that would more than likely the experience that many have described as the dichotomy as heaven and hell or some push pull that causes the consciousness to have to go through a process of rebellion and fight with itself after the life to come into it's own. And then of course, that process is over, when that process is over, the consciousness can then begin to plan the next life. But those initial moments or years depending on your perspective and what version of time you are translating the experience through are dictated by the personality's experience of the life, the overall consciousness that is your Essence. In other words, just because you have died so many times before does not make the next death an extension of those previous deaths. It is relative to the personality in the current lifetime. Your personality gets to decide what it experiences after it dies. It is not always a sudden realization that you are more than what you thought you were. That is a process after dying. Now before we continue on, we will stop here for a moment to ask if you have any questions about what's been shared so far. Question: If you die and you've only gotten up to the 3rd Internal Monad does that mean that now you're faced with the death monad, you're not going to accept that you're dead? I thought you said the completion of that monad means you've accepted that you're dead. But if you're only gotten up to the 3rd monad in your life, how does that, what does that mean? MEntity: Yes, this is where it gets a little complex in terms of how the levels are processed but we will try to explain it to you that as you progress through the internal monads and you have a personality that is stuck in the 3rd internal monad and it's afterlife is a process of completing that 3rd internal monad or at least processing as much of it as possible, in linear terms, that effort contributes to next lifetime. However, the personality that did not move beyond that remains "alive" in it's own time frame so that when there is finally a personality that does complete the 7th Internal Monad, then it can go back and collect all the personalities from that soul age level. Until then, that personality is for lack of terms, stuck in its own process. Does this makes sense to you? Question: The personality doesn't die with the body? MEntity: No. The personality that is designed as a part of the body dies but the template that the body was created from, which came first, the template came first, continues. When your Essence designed your personality before a lifetime starts, it starts with one of the overleaves and that becomes the core of that personality. For instance, if your Essence decides to choose the Attitude first that Attitude becomes its own form of consciousness around which the rest of the overleaves are constructed. And then, those overleaves are a part of what contributes to the genetics of, or what is activated in the body that is created for the lifetime. Each body is a pool of genes and the overleaves are what plucks out or activates particular genes or DNA that becomes who you are in a lifetime. And so, while that physical counterpart does die, the template or overleaves do not. To make it easier to understand because we sense that you are not fully grasping what we are saying or we are not conveying it clearly enough, think of the concept of a soul that is not the same thing that what we use to reference your Essence so that soul inhabits the body and that soul continues on after the lifetime is over and those could be described as fragments of the Essence. Of course we would not like that to be a terminology or a part of our teaching but it is true that your Essence fragments itself in the same way that the Cadres fragment themselves and the Essence collects those fragments back up in the same way that the Cadre collects its fragments back up. So the you that you are here will extend beyond this lifetime and will be collected with all the other versions of your Essence to make up a whole that is the consciousness that you are. Is there another way that we could describe this that might make it easier to understand or are we being clear? Question: So you're using the word Soul synonymously with personality and its a fragment of your Essence? MEntity: Yes, we just threw that in as a means to help you to see that the personality or the template that activates the personality is a fragment of your Essence and therefore has its own version of consciousness. Question: And it lives on past the body... that is a new concept and I've never heard of it. MEntity: Yes, and this is why, and this may help you to comprehend. This is why there can be "hauntings" while the Essence continues to evolve because the personality remains behind as the haunting and the Essence continues to evolve and once it gets to a point where it is evolved enough it will go back and collect the personality that has remained behind so to speak as a part of that haunting. So just because there is a haunting does not mean that the Essence that is associated with that particular lifetime or personality that might be the haunting is stuck... it does not mean that. It continues. It has its own management system for all of the lifetimes and is not dictated by one personality. If the Essence evolution was dictated by any individual personality, it would be very difficult to get past the 1st lifetime. But at the end of every soul age level, all of the personalities relative to that level are collected, integrated, and the new level is begun. If this is new information it is only because the questions have not been asked. And this is why we qualified the response with the fact that it is a bit complicated because it means that you exist in all of these various forms in microcosmic and macrocosmic fashion so to speak and that can sometimes be difficult to understand. Any other questions? Question: I had one more question on that same topic. So then is it possible for your soul who is stuck here as a ghost we'll say, is it possible for you to reincarnate while there is some part of you stuck someplace else? MEntity: Yes. Your Essence is a vast energy source. And, all of the lifetimes and all of the parallel versions of one lifetime, all of the concurrents which are when you incarnating in multiple bodies on the planet as well as your past and future lifetime, all only take what would be the equivalent of approximately 1% of the focus for your Essence. All of those combined. So that gives you some indication of the vastness of your Essence and why it can manage so many variations of itself and allow for the personalities to evolve on their own time frame in a way that does not interfere with those because its got its own higher perspective. Question: See I knew that, but I think what's new is the separation of the two terms essence and soul. I always thought of them as being synonymous. And also of the concept of the personality outliving the body... that's new, right? MEntity: Yes, we would suggest not being hung up on Soul versus Essence terminology. We only offered that as one way of differentiating between that which is involved in the activation of the personality versus that which created it. But if it helps you to keep things clearer, then keeping with our terminology, it is not amiss to describe it as a fragment of your Essence or as you put it, the personality exceeds the body. Those would be accurate ways of describing it as well. The term Soul can be interchanged with the term Essence but it's a highly charged word so we usually don't usually use it. Question from the chat room: So what is taking place in the time of waiting for the level to complete with the personalities? MEntity: Well, we would like to remind you that time outside of the physical plane is a little bit different in its experience and becomes even more relevant to the individuals personalities perception. Time has an emotional factor. It is an emotional experience therefore the Astral plane where you go in between lives or more accurately we would say you focus between lives is an emotional plane. And therefore, because that becomes the basis of experience, time is extremely flexible and those who are in between lives and the personalities who are "waiting" do not have the same perception of time while you are waiting on the physical plane. So the lifetime, we will give the example that is completely random, randomly chosen, the lifetime that might have been stuck at the 3rd Internal Monad and died will go through its process and contribute to the overall evolution of the Essence. But once its done and by done we mean has had its own version of a realization it can do whatever it wants. And so the personality can realize it has a completely new world with which to create life and it literally lives out another life or as many as it wants on the astral plane. These are purely, for lack of a better term, entertainment or novelty lifetimes in the sense that they do not contribute a great amount of evolution to the Essence. Because once the realization is there that anything can be created in the astral plane which is very malleable and emotions and your thoughts manifest much quicker, then the process is not met with much challenge. So for instance, if there was a part of you that thought you were going to burn in hell when it died, it will burn in hell as long as it thinks it's supposed to and then it will eventually realize that that's not necessary. And on the other side of what that personality though it was suppose to experience relative to where it evolved within the lifetime, it will then be greeted by those fragments who are familiar to it and oriented toward the astral plane so that it then can enjoy itself while it waits. Question: so it's like a really fun waiting room? MEntity: Yes, but not quite. We caution on too much emphasis on the term "wait" because the experience is not one of waiting. It is not quite that experience of time that you perceive it to be from here. But it's process of waiting can give it the opportunity to explore many different ideas and creative endeavors and eventually find an interest in its own origins and its own part in the process of Essence's evolution and becomes integrated eventually. The personality that ends up fulfilling the 7th Internal Monad and all of them within the single lifetime does not have that same "waiting period" because its lifetime became that same process that the others did post lifetime. Because the more consciousness that you bring to your physical plane experiences and to your creation of your lifetime the more Essence is involved and that level of integration of consciousness within the lifetime, having the physical lifetime be the meeting ground between the tangible and the intangible or the personality and the Essence, is the same process that all the other personalities had to go through while they waited while that final personality in that soul age level did it within the lifetime. Question: I have a question. So if, let's say you're at, I mean you're at your soul age and your soul level and in a lifetime does that, goes all the way through, the next lifetime will that also go all the way through or does it automatically bump you up to the next level? MEntity: Re-ask your question. Question: Sorry, so let's say my last, we'll use me, let's say my last lifetime went through all the way and the seamstress completed the 7th Internal Monad. So this lifetime, the one after that, would I also then complete all the way through the 7th level or 7th Internal Monad because she did or... MEntity: Not if it's the first lifetime of the next level... Question: But what if it's not? Well I mean it is for me. MEntity: Once you have had one personality transit all of the 7 Internal Monads successfully, any subsequent lifetime can then do so if it focuses on the perspective of that same soul age level. So while someone may have completed the 7th Internal Monad and completed the 3rd level of the Old Soul age the following lifetime can then focus and more easily accomplish all of those 7 Internal MOnads if the lifetime remains with a perspective of the 3rd level of the Soul age. Even though technically, it is 4th level Old Soul at that point. And that is how the concept of manifesting soul age has come into play. Question: So, if I, since she finished early I think intuitively that because of having connection with her regarding her death I think that she would have completed the 7th Internal Monad and since I had the ability to transfer from the 3rd level to the 4th level this lifetime then I'm thinking she must have. So, if I focus on the 3rd level then I would more easily complete the 7th Internal Monad but if I focus on the 4th level, because I am on the 4th level, then I probably wont? Or do I still have the ability to do that? MEntity: You can knock out so to speak all of the 7 Internal Monads in one lifetime or one level. There is no rule to it and they do become easier with more experience although each lifetime is isolated to what that personality decides or develops into its capacity for processing those rites of passages and they can always be thrown off and get stuck but you could go through all 7 Internal Monads multiple times during one soul age level if you chose to do so. But as your soul ages, the amount of times or the amount of lifetimes it takes to transit a soul age level exponentially becomes less. Question: Could it be one? MEntity: Yes. Question: Or half of one? MEntity: Yes it can. For the most part there are at least on average 7 lifetimes per level your particular Cadre or Energy Ring is not average and we do not say that as a compliment but we say that as a matter of statistics. Another layer that may be of interest in the process of evolution in the lifetimes, the end of each lifetime and the process afterward, is that each of the levels, or rather each of the soul ages, is a process of developing a certain kind of relationship with your Essence. And so, for instance, the entire process of the infant soul age, is a process of developing an instinctive relationship with your Essence. It is a process of developing your instinctive center to a degree that it holds as much experience and memory and wisdom as possible between lifetimes. So the entire Infant Soul age is about programming, if you will, the memory disk that will be taken from each lifetime and moved into the next lifetime and built upon. The Baby soul age is entirely about developing a more cohesive union or co-creative relationship your Essence and this is why those who are Baby souls often have that sense of dichotomy with their Essence because they're developing that relationship with their Essence and they will call it God and they will call it angels, they will call it whatever it is that will personify it in a way that develops that communication and communion that part of themselves. And over the process of the Baby soul age, they will eventually grasp that they are the same thing or that they are one but in that process will personify Essence to whatever degree helps to develop a relationship the Essence. The Young soul age is all about the rebellion from that communion or that co-creative process and during the Young soul age the personalities have the most running amock of any of the soul ages because personality is, now that they have been born from the process of realizing that personality is also as valid and powerful if you will as Essence, then it thinks it can do everything on its own and doesn't need that sense of Essence or that sense of soul. And so during the Young soul phase, the personalities reject Essence more often than not and dive right into the physical plane and try to get as much out of it on their own as a means to prove that they are just as much powerful and valid as they have discovered Essence is. Over time however, the difference personalities that are a part of that Young soul age begin to realize that the materials to work with on the physical plane are quite limiting and that is the nature of the physical plane. And while certain things can be attained physically on the physical plane such as money and wealth and fame and fortune and physical stimulation, it is limited to the physical plane and it does not carry forward to any great degree of satisfaction beyond the physical plane. And that is the process of realizing that there is more to life than the physical plane and then it is a process of developing an emotional relationship with your Essence or an intimacy with your Essence. Where the Baby soul age is about the recognition of the validation of Essence or the soul if you will, the Mature soul age is about the intimacy that develops from that and the emphasis becomes more about co-creative process and working with your Essence to create the lifetime. And the emphasis becomes more about what will be carried forward from the lifetime rather than what will be left behind. Your cars and your cash will be left behind but your relationships will not for instance. The Old soul age then is about the expression of your Essence into the physical plane. It is no longer about the co-creative process. It is no longer about the communion process. It is no longer about accomplishing. But it is about actually being your Essence or being your soul while here. And so, the emphasis turns towards spirituality and a very profound process of manifesting more of who you are outside of the physical plane here and bringing that consciousness to the process than it is about just living. Because your Essence is basically just blind, has no feeling, has no capacity of experiencing the physical plane without the personalities, so overall of those lifetimes it eventually gets invited in a way that is quite profound during the Old soul age. And then, you're faced with the paradox of your Essence of finally being manifested in a way that gets to experience the physical plane fully while the personality craves going home or the integration process that will eventually occur and that wil why so many old souls tend to feel tire or bored with the physical plane or not as fulfilled by it and not as interested in it because it knows there is so much more beyond it. While your Essence is, forgive the pun, thrilled to death that it is able to experience the physical plane so fully. Any other questions regarding... Question: Well XXX and I had a lot of conversation about that TV show that he watched where everybody saw the white light and then people and loved one and stuff like that, so what is your perception or your take on what happens? Do you see loved ones? Are they manifestation of those people coming to greet you or are they just aspects of yourself that shows you what you think you want to see or expect to see? Like the person going to hell, goes to hell. You know, I think that I probably will see other lifetimes waiting to greet me. So, will that be what I'll see because that's what I think I'll see? MEntity: Those who truly die are not always "greeted" on the other side because part of the process of dying includes going through what that individual expected to go through. And not very often does the personality know what to expect or it has become so programmed in what to expect that there is no room for greetings on the other side. But those who have near death experiences quite often have their support groups on the other side because the lifetime is not over and the process is one of escorting if you will the consciousness back to the body in a way that is either part of that life's plans so that it affects the life in a way that gets built upon or just happens to be something that the personality experienced and becomes a part of its experience. So, whether there are those loved ones or fragments of the self, other personalities that you've been on the other side waiting to greet you, the potential is always there for that but it is not consistent and it is always dependent on the personality. Those who return however are quite often greeted because they are not there to experience their afterlife. They are there to be returned. Question: So everybody tends to see what they think they're going to see with their interpretation of what happens to you after life ends. So if somebody isn't coming back and you really are dying but they think they're going to see that then they see that? MEntity: If by "that" you mean loved ones greeting them ... of course, yes. Most of you who are Old souls when you die don't experience much difference from what you're experiencing just before because the consciousness is to a certain degree that allows the transition to feel as if you've shifted perspective. Because the more you manifest Essence within the lifetime, the less shocking the process of dying is because you will already have been who you are on the other side or the larger part of who you are and so the process is quite simple. And so while you know yourself as XXX and you know yourself in this body, that will be part of transition as simply stepping out of context of living but still having everything familiar quite comfortable but a lot more maleable and you will then you will be greeted by those you might want to see or experience and you will still have a relationship with those who are still on the physical plane even if they're not aware of it. By relationship, we mean that they have a counterpart of themselves that can accommodate you in the afterlife in the way that is familiar to you. That does not mean you have a relationship to the physical version. Chatroom question: So if one had a concurrent at say Mature level 7 and he transited the 7th Internal Monad, as *you* as his concurrent and living would you experience the soul age/level intra-life change? MEntity: You could. Yes. If you have overlapping lifetimes which is not uncommon especially with the older soul ages and one lifetime has progressed to a certain point that could contribute to a concurrent's evolution, it can. Very rarely that capitalized upon because it is very important to each personality to feel as if the progress is its own. What it will do is contribute to the Essence's evolution and depending on the concurrent personality that is still alive and its relationship to that Essence, it can pull that in as part of its influence in the lifetime but it is not imposed or suddenly realized in the lifetime. We'll pause for a moment... What we'll talk about next then is how to apply this information that might be useful at some point. To return to a question that was asked earlier about whether one lifetime can be transited as a soul level because all of the internal monads were processed, we would like to add that for the most part, the 1st three internal monads are quite often processed fairly easily and quickly for the older soul. And if there is any point to which it is stuck which extends the need for multiple lifetimes for a level it is at the 3rd rather the 4th or 5th internal monads. It is not uncommon for some fragments to be stuck at the 4th Internal Monad for several lifetimes before they are able to move on. Question: If I could ask you a question that is the reverse of XXX's before you move on. What I was told by a channel who wasn't a Michael channel that my last lifetime was that I died as a young boy in France during WWII. Let's say hypothetically true because I can't validate it, I obviously would have died at the 2nd monad/3rd monad and obviously I haven't transited all my monads when I came into this life so how affect me starting ?into a new lifetime not having completed all the monads in the last lifetime? MEntity: As with most of existence, there are no hard set rules to the process. There are only consistencies and general guidelines and so we cannot say because that happened here is what happened but we can say that the death of a personality early in its lifetime can mean multiple things. It can mean it simply died and yes it did not have a chance to go through many internal monads but this has no bearing on where it had reached in the previous lifetimes even if it were 2 or 3 lifetimes previous to that. If any lifetime previous to that reached or processed an internal monad up to for instance a 6th Internal Monad then if the 3 subsequent lifetimes died early it has no bearing on the following lifetime that may have then lived to go through all 7 Internal Monads. It will not set you back in other words. The life must be, or the personality, the physical body must be alive 7 years for it to have a personality that needs to go through any processing. So any lifetime or any personality that dies before the age of 7, we say this as a general number, its integrated almost immediately with Essence because it did not get to a stage of autonomy. It did not get to a stage of completion of that 2nd Internal Monad for that lifetime. And, it takes up to 7 years for your Essence to even become a part of that personality because it takes at least 7 years for the consciousness to develop a way that can connect to that Essence more directly. The other reasons why it can be because the 7th Internal Monad was not processed and despite the fact that the physical body did not have a linear progression through the rites of passage. If the body is born long enough and has a consciousness and dies, that short life can be specifically to process the 7th Internal Monad. Question: Does that often lead to a walk-in? MEntity: No, if we understand you question correctly, no. Question: My question was if a lifetime was created just for the completion of the 7th Internal Monad would another soul walk in? MEntity: If the body did not die, because with the 7th Internal Monad now it gets a little complicated because there are different arcs of the internal monads that get processed. There is the Essence level, the process of moving through your soul age level and then there is the individual process that happens for each personality. And so, the 7th Internal Monad that was necessary for the Essence to evolve can happen within a lifetime without the body dying. And at that point, yes, the Essence can withdraw from the lifetime and another Essence walk in to take over that physical body. We realize all of this sounds quite creative. Question: Isn't that what it's all about? MEntity: We would agree. so, to answer your question, no it does not necessarily lead to a walk-in situation but if the body or the personality generated would like to stay alive it can take on another Essence for the remainder of that lifetime. By all intents and purposes, it would be a separate person. It would be a different person altogether even if the body were the same. Walk-ins only make up less than 5% of incarnations so it is not quite that common on a cosmic scale. Well, we gave that number as a peak number at any given time it's never more than 5% of incarnations that are occurring. Now what we would suggest for you as far as applying this information if you choose to do so is that in your day to day living it is helpful for you to work on the manifestation of your Essence or the realization that you have an Essence and to explore that concept and to bring that into your day to day functioning in a way that matters to you. You cannot help but be your Essence in a lifetime because that is who you are to some extent whether you reject it or not. But the more you embrace it and the more conscious you become of it, the more tap into resources that are available to you reject the concept of having an Essence. Question: Resources such as? MEntity: Energy, enthusiasm, creativity to name a few. Embracing your Essence means you allow or create opportunities in your life to shine. And by shine, that is the moment where you feel as if you are fully being who you are. Manifesting Essence does not mean that you live everyday as a soul or an Essence with some notion that because you are immortal you can do whatever you want and not suffer the consequences of the physical plane. That is not what we mean by manifesting Essence. Manifesting Essence or your Essence role means creating or allowing moments in your life that may last for great lengths of time or may last for short periods of time where you are exactly who you think you are everything you aspire to be. And those are the moments you are manifesting Essence. It also shows up when you are in any moment for a short period or length of time liking the life that you are living. And sometimes, there are conditions within the life that make it less likeable. But, liking the life does not mean settling with the life. It mean understanding your place in that larger pattern that is your life and knowing that you can navigate it in some way that can create or allow more than what you have or what you like at the moment. So, liking it is not a conclusive state but a process and liking who you are. So to that degree, knowing this information and being able to let the life... the process of bringing more of your consciousness into the experience of physical plane in your life and applying that creatively and using it as a form of navigation for the life and manifesting more of who you are in a way that you like makes the process of dying much more comfortable than if you hate the life, do not like who you are, and feel stuck or trapped. Those particular states within the lifetime are the most difficult or some of the most difficult to process upon death. And so, bringing more of you into the life or more of your Essence into the life is a way of making death more livelier if you will. For those time of when you know of someone who is dying, it can be a direct or indirect form of support if you know anything about that individual's life and where he or she may have come to in his or her process in internal monads. It can help you to psychically or emotionally or even directly help that fragment or that personality in its transition. And, this will not what time you make this realization. If this is somebody from your past, you can actually contribute to their process of transition by offering insight, offering support, remembering that loved one in loving ways and this contributes to their own personal process of evolution. It's not limited by time. If you know someone had difficulty getting beyond their rebellious stage for instance then it might be someone who is also going to go through that in the afterlife. Then if this is something that you know or sense, you can use your imagination as a tool and is not something that just generates fantasies but is actually a tool, an effective tool, can be used to imagine yourself helping this person realize that he or she does not have to burn in hell for instance or suffer beyond the lifetime. If you know of someone who is at least to the point where they have faced the prospect of death and have realized that there is a mortality, you can help in the transition by not holding on to that one version of that person after he or she has died. You can help contribute to their evolution by allowing them to "go" while still missing them or loving them or craving them. But if you are locked onto them in a way that keeps them focused on you and your comfort, it's very difficult to focus on their own process. And so assuring them that you're ok and assuring them that you understand goes to great lengths to contributing to their evolution and their process. So those are the 2 most applicable way we think you could use this information in any way that might be symbolically helpful to you. Though we think it goes beyond symbolic. Being who you are and finding and creating those moments you can be that and letting go of those who have passed while still loving them. Those 2 things quite simple and to some of you, obvious, but very powerful. Question: I'm not sure how this really applies but would holding onto something after it dies, would that affect them continuing on? MEntity: No. There is absolutely no effect... the truth is there is absolutely no effect between you and a deceased animal and between you and a deceased human or sentient, fellow sentient being. When we suggested letting go of an individual who has passed, it is not because of your not letting go hinders the fragment but that personality who has died will more than likely tend to your needs and stick around as a form of support rather than focus on its own process. Not because it has to but because it might want to. And so, you're letting go contributes to the process of their evolution but you're not letting go doesn't hinder it if this is clearer. when it comes to animals that you have become close to, and their passing, because it is a completely different dynamic of consciousness, there is no personality involved that extends beyond the animal itself. There is a consciousness that represents the animal but it is not defined in the way that sentient consciousness has personalities. You may see personalities in your animals because they do personify various overleaves. For instance, a dog will not have a complex personality but may have embodied an Attitude or may have embodied a Mode or may have embodied a Goal depending on its breed. And so, it could be said that animals are made up of one or two of what could be called overleaves so there is not the same template that carries forward as it is quickly absorbed back into the hive soul. And while you as an individual can recognize the consciousness of the animal and still see and interpret a personality from that it is in no way a relationship that is hindered or affected by your hanging onto or letting go. Any other questions regarding this subject? Question: I have a question. For example, my mother died quite young and it seems like she always shows up when I'm with a medium or a channeling session with a medium, my mother always shows up. It seems like she likes to hang around me alot. So I was wondering, if you die in your 40's and you haven't incurred all of your monads would you possibly hang around a child for unfinished business like as oppose to my grandmother who never shows up but she completed all her monads. She died very old. She never shows up. MEntity: Yes, as part of the process of an internal monad, depending on where the individual was in their death, part of that process can be working through emotional elements, not physical ones and not anything relative to the physical plane. Anything that is on an emotional level can be done without bodies and therefore the personality despite of it not having a body can "hang around" and still have an emotional exchange with you. Because, even while you are here physical, every time you sleep, you free yourself and more of your consciousness to astral plane and therefore can work things out in dream state or even if you're conscious in your daily life and you have a rich emotional life it can be the meeting ground for non-physical relationships. If that were not the case, you would not be able to have guides and you would not be able to have the sort of non-physical support each of you do have in every lifetime whether you are aware of it or not. Question: So it made no difference then that she didn't finish all of her monads essentially because if you can have the same relationship with guides as well as a parent it wouldn't have mattered what point she died right? MEntity: Mattered in what sense. Question: The fact that we still have this relationship... nonphysical... MEntity: Yes, relationships can continue after death if the individual such as yourself is open to that and it's a mutual relationship. Sometimes what can happen is that the person who is left behind so to speak in a physical body can stay attached to their idea of the individual who has died and while that individual my have continued evolving and even be in another life, a counterpart or what we'll call a counterpart representative of that other individual can still focus on having a relationship with you for your sake. Because, as we said earlier, it does not take much to generate these personalities and variations of focus. Does this answer your question? Question: Yes. MEntity: To extend upon that, the relationship may not be working on anything but simply being there as a form of support a general form of opportunity for you to evolve your perception of that individual as well. Because, the individual who died within your lifetime died at a certain point in your lifetime that had a certain perspective of that person. That same vision so to speak of that individual will look different in 10 to 15 to 20 years. And so, in 20 years your relationship to what you may remember as your mother may evolve and have worked out issues related to that individual. And so, a counterpart or a version of your mother can still be in a relationship with you even though its non-physical for that reason. Which mean, you can talk to those personalities, you can exchange information. And while you may dismiss it and your imagination or creative thinking it can still be helpful to you in working things out. There is much more to say about this topic and we've touched on it in a rather roundabout way because we did not have a clear subject posed to us by Troy so we just dove in with what seemed the most relevant for this layer of information about this topic but we can be asked again in a different way and reveal more details or more layers that may be of interest to you. We think we have time for one round of personal questions if you choose to use that time. We will do our best to respond and so you may begin with those if there are any. Question: So, I've touched upon this before last time we talked about my job making me really bitchy and aggravated all the time and it's really affected me so strongly. I did take, I heard strongly what you said about, it doesn't have to be. I don't have to commit to it for the rest of my life and so the option for change is there. Its kind of freed me up a little bit. It's gotten a little less horrible for me. But I have noticed that I'm a little uncomfortably jaded I guess maybe and I kind of want back that feeling of, I don't know... it sounds so stupid, sort of like that youthful feeling that everything is going to be ok. It's not that I don't think everything is going to be ok because I do. I'm just a little bitchy about it. It feels so oddly uncomfortable to me and there's got to be some sentence that I can tell myself or remind myself that lets that edge off. Because I keep saying, I should start drinking or something. I gotta do something to take the edge off. I feel like I'm so close and that I want to tip it over and make that extra little bit be back to my usually happy self. I miss that person and I feel like she's withered and died... people stepped on her like gum. I don't know how to ask it. I'm looking for something I can do for myself as a reminder that's going to help click something in my brain or my body or my soul or my Essence or my something... MEntity: Our response to that is a very simple response and that would be to do something more for yourself. And by this we mean, to point out that any you who develop a routine that becomes so entrenching that you've lost your sense of self often you only need to throw a wrench in the works by doing something different by bringing you back to yourself. By that we mean, do not think that your commitment to these routines is a condemnation but first to recognize it is a choice and there is a payoff in that choice that is benefiting you to some degree. But what you would want to do to add to the ingredients of your day to day life is to add something more to compliment it and by that we mean, to do something different with the time that is yours and not your company's. Question: I'm so exhausted by the end of the day I can barely get home. MEntity: Your exhaustion is relative to your lack of doing something more for yourself. It is not just because of the routine. It is because you are not doing more that rejuvenates you. What you need is rejuvenation, not rest. What you would want to do is decide in your month ahead, in your next 30 days for an example, where on your calendar and time frames you can plan and do something that is a gift for yourself or a time that is rejuvenating or doing things that you have decided are rejuvenating. And what you will find, even with an hour of something that is rejuvenating and is your choice can zero out the exhaustion from eight hours of routine. So the irony here is that in your doing so much that you don't like you simple need to do more of what you do like. Question: so I can just start out by doing just one thing a week... MEntity: Yes, but we would say not something that needs to be on a weekly basis but can even be on a monthly basis and even just looking forward to it can negate a great deal of the exhaustion knowing that you have a treat... Question: I have been looking forward to going home to visit my parents and I have felt pretty good this whole because of the excitement about going... MEntity: Rejuvenation returns you to your enthusiasm and your enthusiasm returns you to your Essence and having more of your Essence present is what's considered what you've described as your "youthful, happy-go-lucky self" where everything is ok and so the 1st step then is that rejuvenation. Next question... Question: I have a question. So I a guy named Leo and we've seemed to hit it off and I wanted to know if we have any agreements between each other? MEntity: No. This appears to be one that you would have to generate those agreements after more time together but no pre-existing agreements appear to have been brought to the relationship. Having a lack of pre-agreements does not mean having a lack of capacity for making agreements and so that will be up to you what you do with this relationship. Question: It's interesting that you brought up about trying to live more and asking to bring Essence through and so what I've been really working on this last year is... I have a post-it note of a comment that Michael made and it must have been another chat or another channeling session where you said that old souls live through their body and experience joy and so on... it's still tough for me to embrace Essence. I'm hoping that I will get comfortable enough in my own skin that I may investigate a mate agreement before my last monad. So my question is, do I have any mate agreements in New York City? MEntity: Yes, you do. First we will back up to say that in your process of liking who you are is a reflection of embracing more of your Essence or bringing more of your Essence into the personality and the lifetime and manifesting your true personality. Some of this is relative to physical conditions that you've placed on whether you like yourself or not and we bring this up so that it is not attached those particular things if you can identify them. But that the true manifestation of your Essence, in a way that would be consistent, would have no attachments to conditions and so we bring this up so all of you can add to what were were saying earlier, that manifesting your Essence and being more of who you are, creating or finding those opportunities to shine are ok to have conditions in place for but the less conditions in place, the more consistent the experience of liking who you are. For example, some of you only like yourselves if a lot of people give you feedback that they like you. And this makes you like yourself more... we're speaking generally at this point as an example. That is a valid process in returning you to liking who you are and to expose you to the experience of liking who you are but if it is only dependent on the conditions that others continually feedback that they like you then the consistency of liking yourself is lost. Does this make sense? So your 3 mate agreements appear to be: 1) a Sage who appears to be... our records depend upon many factors in updating for fragments who are still incarnating so we will do the best we can so that there is a validation.... and we will say that this fragment appears to be living on the upper east side currently and one of the validation factors is a nostalgia or a current passion for baseball 2) The other appears to be a Server who is not actively working but aspiring to work in the alternative medicine or healing field. The validation factor for this individual might be a scar that may indicate the removal of an appendix or surgery of some sort but it appears to be on the left side of the body. There is a story that goes with it that is relative to something that got botched 3) And the 3rd agreement looks to be an Artisan. This one, comes with it, some turbulence in getting to know each other so that would be one validation factor. The Artisan... the validation factor... and we don't know why this is a part of the process but is quite offensive at first and has a proud interest in ceramics that have been made that find unappealing and that might be the way you validate that mate agreement. Are there any other questions? Question: I have a quick question. I hope it will be either a yes or no. Did XXX, did I hear her or was that just my imagination or was I dreaming, after she died? MEntity: This appears to have been a valid experience. Your hearing is one of your senses that can get amped to include ranges that would be considered to be physical and... Question: My hearing or one's hearing in general? MEntity: One's hearing in general but we're speaking about you right now so that you hear things that others cannot that have a more subtle range that could be picked up on devices that may or may not be in existence at this time. No, these are not cloaked sounds we are speaking of. If there are no other questions then we will conclude here and say goodbye.
  7. Michael Speaks Live June 23, 2013 An Expanded Session on the Third Internal Monad Channel: Troy Tolley Hello, Michael. Today, we'd like a "topic level" comprehensive overview about the 3rd Internal Monad. I'd like the topic to include identifying those who are stuck in negative poles of the 3rd IM and suggestions on how to help someone transition into positive poles, both those who accept the teachings and those who don't. Is there any one stage in particular that seems to cause the most trouble? Just as the 4th IM can be somewhat measured by how well the person is learning to like him/herself, is there something key for the 3rd IM person? [MEntity] We will address each of your questions as we cover the topic. [MEntity] Before we go into the specificities of the Third Internal Monad, we will share a brief review of some of the developmental aspects of the Internal Monads, in general. This is not unrelated, and will help shed light on those specifics of the Third Internal Monad. [MEntity] The 7 Internal Monads can be best understood as the "levels" within a Soul Age LEVEL. So, for example, to move from the first Level of a Soul Age to the second Level, these 7 Internal Monads must be successfully completed within at least one lifetime within that Level. [MEntity] As you know, a Soul Age Level is rarely a single lifetime, and are often several lifetimes. The average being about 7 lifetimes per Soul Age LEVEL. [MEntity] In one lifetime, one may successfully transit only one or two Internal Monads. [MEntity] Though the success for any given Personality/lifetime within a Level may be more or less in terms of how many Internal Monads are successfully transited, the totality of successes are not lost to the progress of Essence. [MEntity] In other words, if the first lifetime within that Level completes the First, Second, and Third Internal Monads, but the next lifetime only completes the Second, it does not regress Essence's progress through the Level. [MEntity] This is because the Personality has its own progress, which contributes to the overall progress of Essence which is never regressive since it is a constant. So if one Personality contributes to Essence's move through a Soul Age Level by progressing through the Third Internal Monad in one life, but the next Personality does not do so in the next, the Essence would still be considered to have evolved through the Level. [MEntity] In the earlier Soul Ages, there is a fairly high level of stop-start among the various Personalities that contribute to each Level, because their connection to Essence is a bit more distorted or rejected. [MEntity] For example, in the Infant Soul Age Levels, the aim is for Survival, so the First Internal Monad of each Level is often the only Internal Monad completed, over and over, and then the subsequent Internal Monads are approached, slowly and eventually. [MEntity] In the Baby Soul Age, there are more who get "stuck" at the Second Internal Monad, and Young Souls are more prone to getting "stuck" in the Third, while Mature stall in the Fourth, and Old Souls in the Fifth. [MEntity] This is not a "bad thing." This is merely indicative of the themes of emphasis for that Soul Age. [MEntity] With each successful completion of an Internal Monad by one Personality, the momentum is generated for support in successfully completing the next Internal Monads by any subsequent Personality. However, that access to momentum is dependent upon the Personality's access to Essence. [MEntity] This is why the older Soul can complete more Internal Monads within a Level than those who are younger in Soul Age. [MEntity] When there is no access, or limited access, then progression is dependent upon Review between lifetimes. [MEntity] Internal Monads are our way of describing where a Personality is in regaining consciousness, awareness, relative to its Essence. [MEntity] Remember: Soul Age and Level are descriptions of where the Essence is, relative to remembering Tao. Internal Monads describe where one is within the process of remembering Essence. The latter contributes tremendously to the former. [MEntity] We share all of this background and review with you on this subject because this is relevant to how the older soul experiences the use of the information describing the Internal Monads. [MEntity] We share this because it is important to remember that, no matter what Soul Age, EVERY NEW BIRTH OF PERSONALITY IS AN EQUIVALENT OF INFANT SOUL. [MEntity] Everything is reset. [MEntity] The Instinctive Center (or localized Akashic Records) is "inserted" into the new lifetime and new body and new Personality, but it is then up to that Personality to access that, and regain and develop and progress consciousness. [MEntity] The Essence does all it can to set up the life so that remembering can come as easily as possible, but there is no pressure or hurry from the perspective of Essence. [MEntity] Because Humans are social creatures, the progress through the Internal Monads will tend to be relative to the average Soul Age and its influences on the culture, society, and available imprinting. [MEntity] So, regardless of Soul Age, it can be quite difficult to move beyond the Third or Fourth Internal Monad at this time as a Human. [MEntity] No matter how effectively Essence has set up the life of the Old Soul Personality, it is being born into a world dominated by Baby and Young Soul (Second and Third Internal Monad) themes, and only recently supportive of Mature (or Fourth Internal Monad) themes that help one progress and gain awareness. REGAINING CONSCIOUSNESS [MEntity] There are very few ways to prod a return to consciousness earlier than others among the culture or society. [MEntity] One of the only ways to do this is to provide opportunities for struggles and challenges early in the life. [MEntity] The more one is moved into conditions that prompt self-reflection and awareness, the more one regains (or gains) conscuousness. [MEntity] This is risky because the Personality must make the choices necessary for the use of those opportunities, but could easily slip into the development of entrenching Chief Negative Features. [MEntity] This is not to say that Essence plans your pain and suffering as a way to wake up, because pain and suffering are relative to the choices of the Personality, but it is fair to say that any challenges and obstacles early in the life were probably a part of the life plan. [MEntity] Because the Personality is more asleep in those early years of life, it can be fairly easy to stumble into or upon, or to create those opportunities for obstacles, struggles, and challenges that prompt one to wake up. [MEntity] The "It Gets Better" Campaign is an example of how those who have remembered enough, who have awakened enough, are reaching out to those who may be still asleep and struggling, to remind them that the best can be made of the worst. [MEntity] Essence makes the gamble in these older soul lifetimes that one will remember this on some level, and not give up, but continue into the wakefullness that will then allow for the true Manifestation of the life to come fully. [MEntity] All of this may seem a long prelude to the details of the Third Internal Monad, but for our students who are in the Third Internal Monad, or for those who know someone in the Third Internal Monad, or for helping you to understand those in the world who are "stuck" in the Third Internal Monad, it is vital to understand that this Internal Monad is the most asleep any Personality can be, relative to Soul Age. [MEntity] The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you. [MEntity] And no matter how old your soul is, if you are stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or passing through it, this will be the most asleep you can ever be in your life, no matter how awake you may feel you are. [MEntity] We will clarify here that "asleep" and "awake" are convenient ways to describe the difference between navigating the life based on what is happening to you versus navigating the life based on what you do with what happens to you. This is highly simplistic, but fair. [MEntity] For our older students, there will tend to be two lines of consciousness in effect before the completion of the Fourth Internal Monad: one is relative to the growth necessary for that current Personality, and the other is relative to the wisdom that is intuitively accessible from Essence. [MEntity] We think that many of our students will relate to having thought they were quite aware, quite advanced, quite wise in their teen years, and rightly so, but that even that paled in comparison to that which came in the years of life and progress of later Internal Monads. [MEntity] This is because the division between Essence and Personality is much less in the older Soul Ages, but this will rarely usurp the necessary experiences that the current Personality must gain before making that wisdom applicable and have context. [MEntity] So to all of our Third Internal Monad students, we assure you: no matter how wise you feel you are now, you will be wiser, and there are those who are wiser. [MEntity] For those who have successfully completed the Third Internal Monad, and know one who is stuck in the Third Internal Monad, or is passing through the Third Internal Monad, we remind you that you were there, once, too, and to forget this is an indication of where you may be stuck in your own Internal Monad. [MEntity] We will now describe the Third Internal Monad and its passage in detail: [MEntity] The First Stage of INITIATION is begun through REBELLION, the Negative Pole, and eventually moved to the Positive Pole of EXPLORATION. [MEntity] There is no way around the Rebellion as part of the process of the Third Internal Monad, but how that Rebellion plays out is entirely unique to every individul and the determined necessity for what represents rebellion. [MEntity] For the most part, the rebellion will target any of the most signficant influences in the life at the time. This influence can be positive or negative; it will not matter. There will be rebellion. [MEntity] For the older soul, this can even be toward the self, particularly if one feels the self is the most influential force in the life. [MEntity] Most sense of trust is tossed aside during this stage, and this prompts the Personality to begin its search for independence. [MEntity] If one stays in Rebellion long enough, this can be quite ugly, messy, and completely incoherent and chaotic, or the prompt toward independence can move one into Exploration, the Positive Pole of the stage. [MEntity] No matter how close one has been to a resource of nurturing, shelter, food, etc, Rebellion will come, and depending upon how the Rebellion goes, eventually Exploration. [MEntity] Along with the Rebellion and Exploration comes a necessity for creating new bonds of Trust. [MEntity] This comes with the uncomfortable shift away from those inherently trusted sources and toward new sources. [MEntity] For example, no matter how wonderful a relationship one may have had with a caretaker/parent, this stage will bring with it a sense that one needs to create one's own network of trust, rather than depend upon those inherent to birth and upbringing. [MEntity] This is a vital part of the Third Internal Monad because this is how all of you found each other. [MEntity] The bonds one shares with those outside of the bonding born of formative years are vital for finding and sustaining in the life, especially for the older soul whose "family" of Entity Mates and Agreements is often scattered around the planet. [MEntity] As one moves away from Rebellion and into Exploration, Trust begins to return, being built within new networks. [MEntity] The healing of any damage or threat or rejection of the inherent Trust already in place begins, as well. [MEntity] This leads to the 2nd Stage: INTROSPECTION, entered through the Negative Pole of Self-Consciousness, and eventually moved into Consciousness. [MEntity] The sense of movement toward independence has now come, but now the Personality has no idea what that means, how to do it, if it can be done, and why it is even so important. [MEntity] This creates an interesting dynamic where one must now rely upon resources from others, but be establishing independence. [MEntity] Self-Consciousness is a kind of hyper awareness of the self as a body, but without the consciousness to bring grace of movement to it. [MEntity] This extends into communication, thinking, feeling, actions, plans, ideals, etc. [MEntity] It can be quite confusing. [MEntity] The establishment of independence seems contrary to the necessity for dependence on others as a resource. [MEntity] Particularly if that resource was just rejected during Rebellion. [MEntity] Eventually, there comes a shift in consciousness away from the self in a way that begins to return to the inclusion of others. This a shift from self-absorbed self-consciousness to actual Consciousness. [MEntity] Consciousness as the Positive Pole here means bringing awareness to include that beyond the self. This is the beginning of the awareness that independence is more about how one accesses, uses, manages, and contributes resources than it is about simply having or taking as a means to serve the self. [MEntity] This move into Consciousness is a move toward inclusiveness of those whom one must turn to for resources, help, support, etc. and a move away from seeing these as threatening, shaming, or embarrassing people in authority over the life. [MEntity] This shift toward Consciousness brings about the 3rd Stage: REALIZATION. [MEntity] The Realization that one now can turn to others for support, resource, help, etc. and still sustain the momentum of independence leads to DEMANDS, the Negative Pole of this Stage. [MEntity] Now the struggle for independence can mean that others must comply to that process for the one in the Third Internal Monad, work around his or her needs, wants, demands, etc. [MEntity] This begins the process of Realization that is all about Responsibility, and this is one of the only ways one learns about what one IS responsible for, what one CAN be responsible for, and how to work with those who are, can, and will be responsible for you. [MEntity] As one Realizes the parameters of Responsibility through Demands, this shifts toward IDEALS. [MEntity] Again, this is a matter of shifting consciousness toward greater concentric circles of inclusion, so now that one has a better sense of what his or her responsibility is for the self, the planning can now begin for the long-term. [MEntity] Ideals require a coming together of parts, and an awareness of the steps necessary for the cohesion of a vision. [MEntity] This is the first Stage where one begins to contemplate the concept of "purpose" and what one wants to do with the life in a way that is meaningful to the self, capable of sustaining independence, and contributes. [MEntity] Ideals then lead to the 4th Stage: MANIFESTATION, entered through ANGER, and moved toward CHOICE. [MEntity] Once one has a vision in place, or is fairly set on some Ideals, then the Anger comes. [MEntity] Anger here describes the sense of the daunting tasks, actions, time, energy, etc. that is realized is necessary for fulfilling responsibilities and sense of purpose. It can feel quite overwhelming and one can feel helpless, which is the underpinning of Anger. [MEntity] This is usually when one first begins to depend greatly upon the self as source of income, shelter, food, etc. [MEntity] Eventually, the Anger (helplessness) is found to be alleviated by the capacity to CHOOSE. [MEntity] This is the first time one begins to grasp the magnitude of impact of the power of Choice. [MEntity] "If I choose not to do this, this will happen." "If I choose to do this, that will happen." [MEntity] Biologically speaking, this is the first time the brain is truly capable of independent choice, comprehensive choice. [MEntity] And so the practice of choosing begins. [MEntity] And this leads to the 5th Stage of CONTENTMENT that is first entered through RESENTMENT, and eventually toward RESPONSIBILITY. [MEntity] The Resentment comes from the push/pull experience within that is about the choices having been made so far, recognizing those choices that were harmful versus those that were helpful, and feeling the weight of this power now being solely one's own. [MEntity] However fleeting, the Resentment will come. [MEntity] This can lead to blaming others for the condition of the life as it is, or blaming the self for mistakes, sinking Resentment into regrets. [MEntity] Eventually, one begins to remember that the power of choice does not just come with a trail of exhaustion, mistakes, and regrets, but with the power to heal, create, transform nearly everything. [MEntity] This is when the truth of Responsibility begins to be understood, not just as an obligatory state for independence, but as a powerful ally in creating the life. [MEntity] Love for the life begins to flow again more freely, and with all of the previous Internal Monad Stages completed, one now has Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, and Responsibility as strengths, and this brings the 6th Stage: MAGNETIZATION [MEntity] Once Magnetization activates, it is the first time there is a sense that there are others in the life whom one does not know, still needs to find, and that they are important, as well as that you are important to them. [MEntity] This entrance into Magnetization is often marked by LONELINESS. [MEntity] This is the awareness of separation. [MEntity] While one is fighting so hard for independence, it can be difficult to realize just how far one has pushed others out of the life, or how far one will need to go in nurturing the attraction of support for the new sense of ideals and directions. [MEntity] Loneliness can come on strong, and be overwhelming. [MEntity] But this begins to shift when one begins to put those previous Positive Poles into effect. [MEntity] There comes an awareness that one is not alone just because one is alone, and that the fight for independence and self-sufficiency was not just for the sake of separating oneself from others, but as a way to be there FOR ONESELF. [MEntity] The awareness that one can be alone with the self and not equate that with loneliness shifts toward the Positive Pole of this Stage: Support. [MEntity] This is when one begins to know that one can care for the self along the way to caring for someone else, or being cared for, or along the way to any kind of exchange, support, Agreement. [MEntity] When this internal strength of Support comes into play, then the shift toward the last stage, Emanation, begins. [MEntity] To this point, all Stages can be progressed through, regardless of the Pole. [MEntity] The successful progression would be from Negative to Positive, Negative to Positive, weaving through the Stages from the more limited end to the more expansive, and eventually out of the Internal Monad. [MEntity] If one is in the Positive Pole, then one has explored the Negative Pole. [MEntity] So one cannot move from Positive to Positive to Positive, etc. [MEntity] However, one can move from Negative to Negative to Negative. [MEntity] If one has done this, then one cannot complete the Internal Monad, and will remain with an incomplete, or "stuck" Internal Monad in that final Negative Pole, and all before it. [MEntity] So the person who is with an incomplete 3rd Internal Monad beyond the 7th Stage would be one marked by Rebellion, Self-Consciousness, Demanding, Angry, Resentful, Alone, and Conclusive. [MEntity] And this will Emanate from them. [MEntity] Until one has closed out the Third Internal Monad successfully, these will dominate the life. [MEntity] In most cases, this will show up most obviously when matched against anyone or anything perceived as a threat to ones own authority, status, position, or value, or against anyone or anything that is seen as having more authority, status, position or value. [Maureen] Even if one has completed Stages 1 to 6 in the positive poles Michael -- but is "just" stuck at the 7th Stage? [MEntity] Depending upon the Soul Age where this Internal Monad is stuck, this concept of authority, status, and value is relative. For example, the Mature Soul may see this in the context of relationships and intimacy, whereas the Old Soul may see this in terms of uniqueness, wisdom, spirituality, etc. But both will be preoccupied with issues of responsibility, blame, etc. [MEntity] For one who has moved through the Positive Poles of each Stage before the 7th, Conclusivity tends to be brief, and is usually marked by a panic of questions related to "What if!" [MEntity] "What if I don't want to do this with my life?!" "What if I had made a different choice!?" "What if I am not cut out to do this?" etc. [MEntity] For someone who has completed all previous Stages in the Positive Pole, if he or she were to be stuck at this point, it would tend to remain in that spinning, questioning, uncertainty of life. There is such a terror of Conclusivity that they will, ironically, remain stuck. [MEntity] This would continue until one returns to the power of Choice, and remembers that this is the difference between conclusion and confidence. [MEntity] The Positive Pole of Emanation is Confidence, so the successful closure of the Third Internal Monad is a sustained reliance on those new internal strengths of Exploration, Consciousness, Ideals, Choice, Responsibility, and Support, all leading to the nurturing of Confidence. [MEntity] The incomplete Third Internal Monad leads one forward into the life in a state of SEPARATION. [MEntity] There will tend to be a feeling as if one is separate, alone, always fighting or struggling against someone or something holding back the life, etc. [MEntity] The successfully completed Third Internal Monad would tend to bring with it DIFFERENTIATION, rather than Separation. This is an acceptance of your differences, the differences of others, and a sense of value for those within and around. [MEntity] It is one thing to feel different from others, and quite another to live in the illusion that you are separate and alone. [MEntity] The unsuccessful completion of the Third Internal Monad is usually marked by a constant need to prove oneself, whereas the successful completion of the Third Internal Monad tends to be an acceptance of oneself. [MEntity] The acceptance of oneself then leads to the 4th Internal Monad where one learns to LIKE oneself. [MEntity] To help someone through the Third Internal Monad can be quite difficult, as this is a time when he or she is most resistant to any help, any insight, and any sense. [MEntity] If you are the one going through the Internal Monad, then it is simply up to you to learn how to make the choices that support yourself toward independence. If you are a loved one of someone going through the Third Internal Monad, then it may often be a matter of allowing yourself to adapt to their process all along the way, and resist taking ANYTHING personally. As soon as you take this person personally, it can be devastating. [MEntity] QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [MEntity] Though we know this session has gone quite long, we will answer questions for the next 10 minutes as best we can. [Diane_HB] What's the difference between accepting oneself and liking oneself? [MEntity] Imagine the difference between accepting the differences between yourself and your family, and liking your family. Or the difference between accepting your job, and liking your job. Or accepting the differences between you and a Republican, and liking that Republican. [Diane_HB] That makes sense. [Jana_K] You have mentioned that "The Young Soul stuck in the Third Internal Monad is in the Third Level of the Soul Age is probably the most asleep fragments among you." Is there something about the third level of any Soul Age that makes one more prone to be stuck/asleep? [MEntity] The Third Levels are marked by Introspection in most cases of any 7 Stages or Levels. This tends to turn one within and away, or become preoccupied with the internal processes, tending only to external processes in ways that serve those internal processes. This can be as obvious as a self-serving, greedy person to as subtle as an Old Soul who turns away from the world for fear it may affect their sense of peace. [MEntity] Even the Young Soul Age is entirely about Introspection, despite its emphasis on the external world. It is about how that external world can serve the self, based on personal need and want. [MEntity] So in an Age, Level and Stage where Introspection is so compounded, the person is quite "asleep." [MEntity] Or rather, can be. [MEntity] One can be awake and as conscious as possible at any Stage, Level, or Age. [MEntity] Some Ages, Levels, and Stages are easier to be more awake, mostly because of the nature of the emphasis of each. [ClaireC] What effect, if any, does "helicopter" parenting have on a child's ability to move through the IM's? [hovering] [MEntity] This would depend entirely upon the nature of the child. For some, this would tend to make the rebellion ever more pronounced, and for others it may delay this Internal Monad indefinitely. [MEntity] For children with more Fluid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more rebellion. [MEntity] For children with more Solid Overleaves or Essences, this would tend to bring more delays. [MEntity] By Fluid and Solid we mean Expressive/Inspirational, versus Action/Assimillative. [Kurtis] What are some key ways you can help someone progress at each of the different stages in the 3rd Internal Monad? Other than simply letting them be, since they have a tendency to ignore suggestions and etc... [MEntity] More than just letting them be, BE THERE. That is all you can do. There will be so many moments of embarrassment, confusion, chaos, shame, blame, etc. that what will be remembered and valued most is that people remained, continued to love, to care, and saw beyond the process to the person. [MEntity] That is the single most powerful thing one can do for those in or stuck in the Third Internal Monad, but this would need to be recognised as a choice, not an obligation or imposition. [Bobby] The further one gets past a "typical" time of completion for this monad, especially once they have entered their 4th and even 5th IMs, generally, how would you expect to experience such a personality? [MEntity] That would, again, depend upon the nature of the person. The more Fluid Roles and Overleaves would tend to exemplify the negative traits describing the negative poles of every stage passed through to-date in some way, while the more Solid Roles and Overleaves would tend to project those negative traits onto others and see them as issues within others. [MEntity] We must conclude here for today. We think we have responded to each question, as well as the original set, though we can certainly continue to elaborate in further exchanges. [MEntity] Good evening to each of you.
  8. [Michael Entity] : Hello to everyone. We are here. [QUESTION] : I see a lot of folks who have bad dreams in my work and have found that while interpretation can be useful, people often find relief just by imagining a better ending for the dream. I don't remember where I learned that (maybe from you?). Anyway it seems to bring relief from nightmares. What is the mechanism by which this works? is it just that I say it will and people believe me? Or is it something astral? or simply the subconscious mind doing its thing? All that seems to be required is a good imagination and being in "alpha" waves. [Michael Entity] : There is a level of dreaming that is primarily symbolic and these dreams are where issues from the waking life are being processed or examined. It does not require a fragment to be asleep for those symbols to be meaningful, but the symbols that are recalled from the dream are often the most directly-significant to the issues. For most fragments, the dream state can help resolve these issues being played out symbolically. This symbolic level of dreaming is very similar to how fragments experience and interact on the Astral Plane anyway, but for those fragments who have not resolved the issues being played out in symbolic dreaming, then bringing in the consciousness of the waking personality can help break the worrying cycle that has led to what some describe as "nightmares." This method of resolution is a natural strength for most fragments, which is why it so naturally occurs during sleep where the Personality dissolves to its default nature of strengths and weaknesses. Nearly all fragments assign symbolism to emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical elements of the life, though this symbolism is often lost to the conscious personality (waking state). When you, QUESTIONER, direct a fragment to use those symbols and experiences from the dream in a conscious way to bring about a break in the cycle and to direct toward resolution, it is not only resolving the issue in many ways, but bringing about an alignment between the conscious and subconscious selves. This same method can be used for those who are not having nightmares or remembering dreams: Examining an issue within the waking state and breaking it down into symbolism, then manipulating those symbols into a way that brings about a sense of direction, closure, or change can help implement those very things in the reality. For instance, a fragment may be feeling obstacles or patterns that keep him or her locked into poverty or survival modes. This fragment might choose a symbol to represent himself and the obstacles or patterns, adding in a current idea of a solution, and manipulate these into a way that displays a symbolic solution. Keeping that symbolic sense of solution at hand, in mind, heart, or even visually depicted (drawn out), can help to break the current symbolic pattern. [QUESTIONER] : cool! bypasses the intellect setting up barriers I would think [Michael Entity] : Your assessment is valid, for it is the Intellect that often keeps movement locked into an undesirable pattern. This is by no means true in all situations, but in many, it is. [QUESTION] : Could you give an example of this conscious working with symbols such as the poverty or survival mode idea? [Michael Entity] : Questioner, the symbolism would have to be specific to the individual, so our example will not be universal. For instance, one example might be a CAT to represent the individual, a BALL INSIDE A CIRCULAR TUBED TRACK with just a bit of a slit along the inside ring of the tube for reaching at the ball, to represent the pattern/obstacle. The current situation has the cat swatting at the ball over and over and often in a frenzy while the ball is forever locked inside that circular track. No amount of swatting or maneuvering is going to change this ball's circular roll within the tubed track. This person might then change the pattern by realizing that the symbolic pattern of the ball in the track means that everything about what the cat is doing is never going to get anywhere beyond chasing current ideas, actions, and feelings in circles. [Michael Entity] : This situation would either require intervention (maybe a human to come along and break open the track to get to the ball) or to simply walk away to a completely new adventure. For the sake of this example, it might seem to be the most directly implementable action to simply walk away from the current ideas and actions. This person might then imagine the cat walking away wistfully and finding a small tree with accessible branches bearing dollar bills, all dangling in the wind. The cat is seen as having an hilarious and playful time jumping and swatting at the branches and knocking down the dollar bills into a pile. This person, then, might keep that image in mind when he or she begins to feel trapped again within patterns that are obviously not working so that he or she can be open to other, more accessible, inputs and possibilities within the reality. Keep in mind that these symbolic plays are NOT the solution in themselves, but are symbolic shifts toward internal solutions or breaks from patterns in how one is perceiving and interpreting reality, which is then a powerful step toward finding and creating external "real life" solutions and breaks. We would also suggest examining why this person might have chosen himself to be symbolized by a CAT, looking at all that a cat means to that person and applying that insight as a way to discover how he or she sees the self in relation to the issue. We will point out here that this topic could be an entire discussion in itself and one that might be worth examining in the future. [Michael Entity] : NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : What is meditation? Is it just silencing the internal chattering, or is something else involved? I recently had some personal advice in meditation from Michael, but trying to follow it, I started wondering what meditation actually is. [Michael Entity] : From our perspective, "meditation" is a word to describe the work through a triad that leads to adaptable balancing among all centers. This triad could be described as: EXAMINATION, IMPLEMENTATION, REALIZATION. We will describe this in detail now. First, a fragment would Examine the life to determine which Center is seeming least used, least effective, least understood, etc. For simplistic purposes, we will contain this to the 3 Primary Centers. So if one were to see that the MOVING Center is being used the least, or is the least effective, then this would determine the direction of IMPLEMENTATION. This would mean that your "meditation" would be of a Moving-Centered sort. Stillness or stereotypical concepts of "meditation" would not work for this fragment. This fragment could then Implement a moving meditation into his or her days. This moving meditation could be anything that includes the body and movement, which means that meditation could be anything from exercise to dancing to simple movements of the body while seated. Once a method has been Implemented, then the practice of this on a regular basis will lead to REALIZATION, which simply describes the effect of that particular meditation. In this case, a balance within the self that has taught the body how to call upon its moving center in a more effective way. The Implementation stage is the most important stage as it requires some amount of commitment for Realization to come about. The entirety of the experience from Examination to Implementation to Realization is "meditation." In other words, Meditation is not simply a separation from your routines (examination), nor is it simply the clear focus of intent during parts of your day (implementation), nor is it just the benefits on the other side of implementation (realization). It is a triad of effort. [QUESTION] what would be an example of using Emotional as the Center for Implementation? [Michael Entity] : Listening to music that stimulates the emotions could be good for some fragments, while watching dramatic movies could be good for others; still others might find a walk through beautiful environments to be a means for implementing Emotional; exploring art could be another example for some. [QUESTION] : So it doesn't matter if I think of this and that during implementation, as long as I move? [Michael Entity] : The more consciousness one can direct toward that which is being implemented, the greater the Realization. So if one is implementing Movement, one can think and feel whatever one wishes, but allow the consciousness to fully embrace the body, the sensations, the experience of the movement as clearly as possible. It cannot hurt to be as focused as one can be on the implementation, but it is not necessary to block other natural elements within you. [QUESTIONER] : I thought so [Michael Entity] : Those who experience the Realization will find that one can think, feel, and act in a way that each does not overshadow or block the other. [Michael Entity] : This is another topic worth exploring, if our students wished. [Michael Entity] : NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : I want to know about the 4th internal monad and how one would know if they were on the way to manifesting their true personality [Michael Entity] : The easiest way one can gauge whether one is moving forward through the 4th Internal Monad in a way that is a positive transition, or to gauge whether one has completed a 4th Internal Monad in a way that was in the Positive Pole, is to ask one, simple question: DO I LIKE ME? [Michael Entity] : To the degree that a fragment can honestly say that he or she likes himself or herself, is the degree to which the 4th Internal Monad is being completed, or has been completed, in the Positive Pole. [Michael Entity] : The Positive Pole of the entire 4th Internal Monad is Self-Realization, which is the experience of being present with who you are and generally liking who you are. The Negative Pole is Acquiescence, which is the feeling of being forced or succumbing to "who you are," and not really liking who that is. [Michael Entity] : In short, if you can answer the question DO I LIKE ME? with an answer of "yes" to any degree, then you are generally manifesting True Personality to that degree. [Michael Entity] : NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : There are different ”schools” teaching how to do psychic readings/how to read energy fields/do energy work. When doing a reading it’s sometimes being used different energy techniques for different issues coming up in a reading. For instance: 1.Create and destroy, 2.Removing fear energies, 3.Delete programming, 4.Erasure and 5.Astral healing. If possible I would like Michael make a comment on the use of these techniques and the fact that some of these schools, even today, try to keep some secrecy around the energy techniques. [Michael Entity] : Many "schools" who claim secrecy over their techniques are run by, and determined by, Baby Souls. The techniques involved would be beneficial to other Baby Souls, and to some Young Souls, but probably quite ineffective for Mature or Older Souls to use. This is because the techniques and beliefs that make these work are mythological and superstitiously rooted. If one can adapt these Baby Soul concepts into a more mature language and method, then the schooling might not be lost on the Mature or Older soul, but this would have to be kept in mind along the way. For instance, the idea that one can heal another is a Baby Soul concept, but the reality that one can help another to heal himself is a Mature concept. Even on the most physical of levels of intervention, a physical doctor can only do so much in treating a fragment and the fragment "being healed" must ultimately do the healing. Tending, or intervening the impact of wounds is one thing; but healing is always a personal matter. [Michael Entity] : The older souls know this. [Michael Entity] : We mention this as an example because many of the more secretive techniques and schoolings teach as an undercurrent a kind of power over others (whether for "good" or "bad,") and this ultimate power is simply not valid. [Michael Entity] : If your technique for healing is considerate of the dynamic that needs to be in place between healer and wounded, with an holistic awareness, then the technique would be the most effective and valid. Techniques that leave out the choice of another tend to lead to Karma. [Michael Entity] : NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : I have recently been involved in discussions with a few of my friends regarding political and governmental systems regarding which are the most effective. My friends would gladly describe themselves as “libertarian” whereas I cannot completely proscribe to such an ideology, if only because their description of “libertarianism” seems to give too much authority to the private sector and private interests; of which I am not entirely comfortable. They would likely label me as “socialist” or as “bleeding heart liberal” if they didn’t know me better! I guess the questions are: Is there or are there ideal governmental system(s) or ideology for the current average soul age we are in currently, based on what Michael has perceived from other sentient beings? What do these systems look like? Perhaps what the United States and the rest of the world is currently experiencing in their governments are pretty typical for our current soul age development? That would be my perception at least. Also, what do typical governments look like on worlds that have a majority of old souls? Or do they even have governments? [Michael Entity] : The politics of any given region or period of time usually describe the friction between the approaching paradigm and the current paradigm, each respectively defined by the approaching dominate Soul Age and the current dominate Soul Age. Many of the names assigned to the varying "parties" are tedious and unnecessary, so we will speak in broader terms here. [Michael Entity] : It could be said that the following political systems are associated in this way: NOTE FROM TROY: Some editing was done from the original text as I asked Michael for clarifications and questioned a couple of the original details. Also, the true definitions and delineations for all of the political/governmental systems can really get complicated, so Michael's response seems to be exactly what they've said, a "broader" perspective, at best. They did explain to me that there are really only three political systems, but a multitude of systems within those systems. If anyone wants to take this on with Michael in the forum, please check out this thread: GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS THREAD [Michael Entity] : Infant Souls have no politics or order, and are therefore at the mercy of whatever dominant political system is in place at the time. However, they may be most comfortable with Dictatorship, which would be implemented by Baby Souls. The Baby/Young politics have shown up as Dictatorship, Capitalism, and Socialism. The Young/Mature politics have shown up as Monarchy, Republic, Socialism, and Communism. The Mature/Old politics have shown up as Monarchy, Democracy, and Anarchy. Old Soul politics return to a state of no politics, but more of what might be considered Anarchy. We use the word "anarchy" in its true definition, not as the Young or Mature soul might exploit the term. The anarchy usually takes on a form that would be recognized as Tribalism. [Michael Entity] : In response to your questions: We would say that the politics of your current world are exactly indicative of the shifts from the dominant paradigm/soul age to another. From what we can see of other populations dominated by Old Soul Ages and paradigms, there are no governments that you would recognize beyond being more tribal groups in communication and exchange with one another, but with no discernible leader or authority. This is one of the reasons our teaching is particularly attractive to the older soul, since there is no discernible authority beyond the self, and even the sense of self is held in question to a degree that allows for sensitive consideration of all factors involved in the life. An Old Soul world is similar. [QUESTION] : I realize my background in government is obviously lacking when I ask this question, but: Is there any distinguishable difference between a democracy and a republic according to Michael's perception? By including both, it seems to be implied that there is a difference. [Michael Entity] : We differentiate a Republic from a Democracy in that a Republic has a more specifically-defined body of qualified voters or elected representatives, while a Democracy seeks to include all people, even those who might not be obviously qualified. The concept of Democracy can get confusing in some cultures such as in the United States because several forms of government are in place. Rather than a pure Democracy, the United States is far more accurately described as a Republic, which is a form of Democracy, but not true Democracy. In addition to this, the general promotion of Democracy is run from an Authoritarian perspective, or as a Plutocracy, to be specific. It could be said that the Physical economy of the United States is run by Plutocratic (authoritarian) politics, while the Emotional economy is run by Republican (Democratic) methods, and this is to be considered when looking at politics. There are Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual levels of Politics and Economy to consider in any system. [Michael Entity] : The closest to an old soul political system that exists in your world today is what is experienced as "the Internet." [QUESTION] : How are the Internet and politics related? [Michael Entity] : If "politics" is seen as a term to describe how a body of people govern themselves and resolve apparent conflicts, then the Internet could be seen as a system of politics. In this case, as would be the case for the Old Soul world, COMMUNICATION would be at the core of those politics, or the INTELLECT as economy. [Michael Entity] : The Infant Soul uses Freedom; the Baby Soul uses Authority; the Young Soul uses Capital; the Mature Soul uses Well-Being; and the Old Soul uses Communication at the root of their politics. The "ultimate" political system, in the end, will have to utilize all of these factors to govern a mix of soul ages. Hence, the politics of a Democracy or a Republic will include previous political emphases to some degree, but with the more current politics being the emphasis. [QUESTION] : And so, just as we are doing here in this chat, everyone determines for themselves, and then relates to the outside world through communication. but as an autonomous being similarly engaged with other autonomous beings/people? Something like this? [Michael Entity] : We think we have understood your question and we would agree. It could be said then that the politics of the Old Soul are CONTEXTUAL. Certain politics apply within specific instances, but are not seen as appropriate across the board. And each person determines his or her level of compliance within certain contexts, or freely moves to more appropriate contexts. [Michael Entity] : We realize this is far from being deeply explored, but we will move on now. NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : Since we acquire new bodies each lifetime, why do we still carry "memories" of injuries from past lives into new lifetimes? How does this work? For ex. my back pain has been channeled as being from an injury from a past life that I am working out. [Michael Entity] : One only carries "memories" of injuries into a current life when those injuries or memories are relevant to the current life. They are never random, and never literal. For instance, your back pain is a manifestation of similar patterns being explored within this lifetime that are resonant to other lifetimes of similar exploration. It is not that the injury was literally carried over, but that you are doing similar things in a similar way that then resonate to that other lifetime. That resonance can help in healing the current injury only insofar as insights can be gained from experiences integrated by your Essence from that lifetime. The resonance to the other lifetime is not to give justification or distraction from your current ailments, but to allow a means of direct access to the wisdom stored by Essence from that lifetime. If one can imagine one lifetime as one point on a line, while another lifetime is another point at a distance on that line, and then imagine a line being drawn from one lifetime to another, that line CANNOT be "drawn" without first creating an arc through Essence, which is "above the line." Often Personality can relate to other Personalities before it can relate to Essence, so it "remembers" (or receives through a channel) the reference to another lifetime of similarity, but this is merely a method for indirectly accessing Essence. Keeping that in mind can help the point of that remembering and resonance. However, to be more specific in response to your question, it is not the injury that carries over, nor the memory, but the PATTERNS that are stored in your Instinctive Center, which is pulled from one lifetime and then "inserted" into another lifetime. This is not a literal event, but the image is helpful. It can also hep to think of it as a program, or a collection of programs/software that is now available to the new personality. Depending on the choices of the current personality, certain programs/software/patterns will emerge for use, and many will not. In your case, QUESTIONER, you have called upon a theme of self-esteem issues, and these issues are often ignored or overridden on the emotional or intellectual levels to a degree that physical manifestation helps in tending to that theme of issues. You will then find resonance to lifetimes where a similar physical injury or ailment was being explored for similar reasons. [QUESTION] : Could Michael suggest some energy-work on such an issue? [Michael Entity] : The "energy work" for any given ailment would have to be relative to the ailment and the individual, but we can say that any chronic aching that is related to self-esteem issues would require "energy work" on the Emotional Body as a focal point, while emphasis of RELIEF on the Physical Body will help in allowing that focus. This energy work on the Emotional Body might be anything from cathartic expression to gestalt therapies to flotation therapies to singing therapies to permission therapies that allow for more of what one craves, etc. We wish to point out here that the patterns carried over from one lifetime to another are only brought into reality by the choices of the current personality. For instance, there have have been lifetimes for the Questioner that have been lived between the past life back injury and the back injury of this lifetime. Back pain was not an issue in those lifetimes between. [Michael Entity] : A more poetic way to understand this might be that the songs heard from other lifetimes depends on the melodies played by this one. [Michael Entity] : NEXT QUESTION [QUESTION] : I would like more information on the upcoming (or current??) nexus. It feels to me as if everything over a period of some months has been leading to this (at least for me personally.) Lots of old wounds and even fear patterns (particularly self-esteem, self-worth issues) have been triggered. I recognize them for what they are, but I need to find a way to stay focused on what it is that I want to create, particularly in terms of my career. I am also dealing with a boss who has a very different approach to life than I do. I am guessing she is some combination of sage/priest/warrior - very focused, driven (passion mode?) energy though even though I think she is emotionally centered. Whereas, even though I am a scholar, and intellectually centered, my approach is more fuzzy, diffuse, and go with the flow, or at least it feels that way. Any suggestions here? Please direct your answer in any way that would be helpful to others in general. I can follow up with Troy on the more personal aspects later. [Michael Entity] : What we can say about the upcoming Nexus is that there seems to be an exploration of the concept of COMPARISONS/CONTRASTS. This seems to be resulting from the enthusiasm/collapse extremes that we have described for many of our students. The enthusiasm comes from the Persistence energy that pushes beyond the collapsing experience of Unchanging energy. It is fair to compare and contrast the unchanging energy with the persistent energy, or the collapsing energy with the enthusiastic energy, but will not be fair to oneself to presume one is stuck in this pattern indefinitely, or to presume one has to remain in one or the other. In light of this, many of you may find representatives of your inner enthusiasm/collapse around you. In your case, it could be said that your "boss" represents the enthusiasm, while "you" represent the collapses. This then leads to your attributing distaste for enthusiasm because your boss expresses it differently from what you would, and this leads to distaste for yourself since you see most easily the collapse in you. [QUESTION] : and how to move beyond this? [Michael Entity] : What one could do, using your example, is to try what we suggested in our Energy Report, which is to DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. In this case, it might mean to flip and reverse your perspective and interpretations in a completely enlightening and revitalizing way (instead of in the debilitating way that is your current pattern). Allow your boss to be the wonderful representative of how you create your collapses, and for yourself to represent what actually inspires your enthusiasm. In other words, doing things your way actually leads to productivity, creativity, and meaning, while doing things her way leads to confusion, overwhelm, and hopelessness. [QUESTIONER] : I'm not quite grasping this [Michael Entity] : If we are seeing the situation clearly, we would say that your collapses come in your comparing yourself to others forms of productivity and trying to implement methods not natural to you, whereas realizing what does and does not work for you allows for you to implement practices that encourage your enthusiasm and do not require you to conform to anyone elses methods. [Michael Entity] : We believe we may be getting into personal territory and will halt our response here, but simply point out that the upcoming Nexus is one that emphasizes CONTRASTS and COMPARISONS and this is to allow for heightened awareness of what IS and IS NOT working for you in various areas of your life. The process of Comparing and Contrasting can often feel like self-judgment or judgment of others, and it is just that, but it is not something to be feared. It is simply a natural method for navigating life. To fear it is to remain stuck. To remain stuck is to remain at the extreme of collapse. [Michael Entity] : We will conclude here, then. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
