OMW - Sep 4, 2010 - Your Turning Points Troy Tolley, Channel (Note: Two things stand out about this transcript: 1) it triggered huge responses from the participants; so, the questions aren't as well organized or integrated as some other transcripts -- I left it "as is" in order to keep the emotional tone; 2) this topic really integrates well with the more recent "Doing versus Being" workshop held in January, 2011. glb) MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here. We have been asked today to speak about what Troy describes as a "Turning Point" that each fragment may, or may not, have within a lifetime. We will first define "Turning Point" as "the unequivocal, historical comprehension that a correction of course on a Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and/or Spiritual Path is necessary and possible as a result of a particular, pivotal experience or choice." We will further define "correction of course" as meaning "a direction of active preference of path that includes improved health for one or more of the bodies, as opposed to a passive presumption of a path that is not nurturing for one or more of the bodies." A "Turning Point" usually shows up within a life when the original intention for the life is being cut short by the death of one or more of the bodies. And by "bodies," we do mean the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual Bodies, or more accurately, "layers" of the Body. When one of these bodies nears death, and the original intention did not include that death or exit point, then a Turning Point is generated so as to give the entirety of the Body (all layers/bodies) a chance to recover and correct the course of the life. Usually that correction of course is drastic because it is in contrast to the momentum that was leading to death. Each "layer" or Body can experience death, even as the other layers continue beyond that death of one body. For instance, a fragment can experience the death of his or her Emotional Body while continuing Physically, Intellectually, Spiritually. Even when the Physical Body dies, one can continue to "live" through the Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual bodies, and this is most-often reported as a "haunting," of course. Regardless of their lack of tangibility, these bodies are ALL of the Physical Plane in terms of material as a medium for Essence. These materials are not yet understood entirely, but may best be understood by you as various densities, or frequencies, that make up the entirety of The Body. Your Body is made up of these densities, or frequencies, from densest to finest: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, and these are "encased," so to speak, in the matrix that might be called the Etheric Body, which acts as a generator, bridge, and template. Each of these are subject to the scathing that is inherent of the Physical Plane, and thus can be harmed, injured, or die. However, as long as the Etheric Body/casing is intact, not only is the presence in the Physical Plane still intact, but so is the Personality, as the Personality is biological, or more accurately, it is a part of the Bodies. As we said before: a "turning point" is a potential result that comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. [Geraldine] Please describe what the physical body looks like if any of the other three bodies die. MEntity: Therefore how to prevent a Turning Point becomes increasingly interesting to Essence as it grows older, since keeping all of the Bodies healthy also becomes increasingly interesting to the soul. One of the ways to prevent a Turning Point, ironically, is to CREATE a Turning Point. More accurately said, it is how to create one Consciously, as most Turning Points are created unconsciously. [Deb22] Is this not what I did — created a turning point — by taking that recent, extended trip to SE Asia. To the unknown, to being alive because my bodies — the emotional, intellectual and spiritual were nearing death? MEntity: Deb, we would agree. The difference between creating a Turning Point consciously vs unconsciously is profound in terms of catalysts, but equally as profound in terms of impact. It could be said, then, that the Positive Pole of a Turning Point is Transmutation and the Negative Pole is Desperation. One end is fueled by Choice whereas the other end is fueled by Survival. One end is created from conscious recognition whereas the other end is created from unconscious realization. For instance, they are the difference between stating, "something has GOT to change" vs "Oh my god, I almost died." [Deb22] What is hard is the next step. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture — stillness versus movement. It is exciting but scary. Any suggestions.? My turning point felt conscious — was it? MEntity: If you are interested in this workshop with us, you have probably stated at some point: "something has got to change." Or you have experienced a Turning Point already, and just want to understand that process. We will make time for personal questions in a more organized exchange coming up. As we mentioned before: a Turning Point comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. When there is a death of the body, or layer, as long as there is a denser body alive, then the finer body can be "brought back to life." In other words, as long as the Physical Body is intact, then any "death" of any other body can be revived, revitalized. We will define "death" here as "having no active, functioning presence." There are, literally, those whose Emotional Bodies are dead in that regard. As are there some whose Intellectual or Spiritual Bodies are dead. It is not inaccurate then to say that a Turning Point is a Resurrection. Within context, there is validity to the concept of being "born again." Each Soul Age tends toward certain bodies having more trouble surviving the life than other bodies. [Karine] When resurrected, does the body that died come back exactly the same as it was, or is it different than it used to be? MEntity: Karine, it is transmutated. It is always in a higher form if it is resurrected; if the Turning Point is utilized. The Infant Souls tend to have trouble keeping any of the Bodies alive. Baby Souls have the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Body alive. Young Souls have the hardest time keeping the Intellectual Bodies alive. Mature Souls have the hardest time keeping the Emotional Bodies alive. And Old Souls have the hardest time keeping the Physical Bodies alive. Keep in mind that "alive" and "death" here are not entirely literal. For instance, the Older Soul has a hard time keeping the Physical Body "alive" in the sense that we already defined: "having no active, functioning presence." Older Souls are most-prone to hiding away their Physical Bodies from the world, in other words. They have evolved to such a state of spirituality, of spiritual strength, that the emphasis of life tends to move away from Physical presence, and it takes a lot more effort to be alive as a Physical Being. Being "alive", as in, "having active, functioning presence." This helps explain a great deal about much of the turmoil and terror that can often plague the Old Soul. It also helps explain the distractions and overcompensations of the younger Soul Ages. For instance, as the Baby Soul has the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Bodies alive, they tend to have the most resurrections of the Spiritual Body, or an emphasis on being "born again" on that level. The Older Soul often requires this same kind of profound turning point, but on a Physical Level. Therefore, many Older Souls will have their Turning Point generated when in the face of Physical Death. Though it would be difficult to validate, we can say that Older Souls tend to have the "close calls" with physical death more often, proportionally, than other soul ages for that reason. Ironically, they are also more likely to create a Turning Point unconsciously than the other Soul Ages, with Baby Souls being most-prone to creating Turning Points from a conscious intention than other Soul Ages. Before we move further into this topic, and into more personal territory, we now invite you to ask questions about the topic in general, or to comment on your sense of validity about what we have shared so far. [Maureen] Based on this discussion: How does "Energetic Healing" take place/work and what can be done to strengthen it's effect on all the "Bodies/Layers?" [Geraldine] What can cause the "death" of one of the intangible bodies? [Martha] Can you tell if another person has a "dead" body? [Maureen] Lights are on and no ones' home! MEntity: In response to Maureen: Most "Energetic Healing" is fairly useless without the implementation of a counterpart that might be called an "anchor" for a circuit to be fulfilled for that level of healing. [Karine] are the bodies related to the Centers? MEntity: For instance, Physical Healing, which is the most obvious form of healing, has a medium that is tangible in such forms as medicine, bandaging, and active monitoring of the wound. [Deb22] Can you please amplify the response to Maureen's question? What would be a counterpart, an anchor? MEntity: "Energetic" Healing most-often refers to more intangible techniques for providing an exchange of energy for the intent of healing various levels of the Body. However, regardless of the finer body, or the lack of tangibility for the healing, there still needs to be an "anchor," or a counterpart that helps to generate a circuit between healer and healed. [Maureen] What do you mean by anchor - counterpart? MEntity: For instance, the "laying on of hands" or the use of touch, in general, is powerful as an anchor, or counterpart, to many "energetic" healing techniques. [Maureen] From your perspective, what actually takes place with an energetic healing? [Deb22] What about a geometric grid with the elements, the bodies, the directions-- creating a mandala implementing those forms? MEntity: Other examples might be: good conversation as a counterpart to Intellectual Healing; affection as a counterpart to Emotional Healing; the use of symbols, either imaginary or tactile, are quite powerful. For example: if one were to use "at-a-distance" healing as a means to help someone, it would help for that recipient to have a symbol for help in completing that circuit. This could be assigned by the healer for the recipient to visualize or duplicate, or chosen by the recipient for the healer to focus upon. A person carrying a stone that is the anchor for healing energy from a healer is much more likely to receive and benefit from healing than someone who was simply told that the healer would "send" some healing energy. [Martha] whats an anchor for Spiritual healing? [Maureen] With "Hands on Healing" - what can be done to strengthen its effect so it lasts longer? Or has a permanent effect? MEntity: In response to GERALDINE: the death of the Emotional Body can come from emotional overwhelm, self-loathing, abandonment, emotional abuse, etc.; the death of the Intellectual Body can come from Intellectual overwhelm, extreme loss, unprocessed grief, excessive disappointment, philosophical abuse or mindfucking, etc.; the death of the Spiritual Body can come from overwhelming demands of life, lack of capacity to comprehend beyond your own needs and wants, extreme displacement of identity for the sake of compromise and order, etc. [Geraldine] a-ha -- all of those negative poles pile up [Maureen] The North Koreans must suffer from all these the death of the Physical Body, besides the obvious literal death, would come from extreme rejection of physical life, repulsion for the functions of the physical body, terror in realizing the fragility of the body, profound desperation to feel safe, profound misunderstanding that the vastness of the universe equates an insignificance of the self, etc. MEntity: In response to MARTHA: it is often difficult to determine if one of the bodies is dead, but if one is sensitive enough, one can often feel that sense of "emptiness" in a person on the relevant level of Body. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: Some symptoms of each body's death might be: Spiritual Death - addiction, capacity to murder, willingness to enslave or oppress; Intellectual Death - lack of ethics, profound disregard for boundaries, profound lack of concern for the Effects of one's Cause. Emotional Death - extreme depression, apathy, paralysis of isolation (feeling trapped/alone when not trapped/alone) Physical Death - squalor, poor hygiene, extreme wishful thinking (extreme entitlement) In response to KARINE: yes, these Bodies are related to the Centers indirectly, as the Centers are related to the Chakras. Though our channels and students often presume that the Centers are synonymous with the Chakras, we do not use the term Centers to represent Chakras. Therefore, these Bodies are directly related to the Chakras, but indirectly related to the Centers. We use the term "Center" to describe a Personality's "Center of Gravity," and while this can be seen as an extension of the Chakra, it is not about the Chakra, itself. [Maureen] What part does Auric Hygiene play in "warding off" the death of a "Body"? MEntity: So, for instance, a Personality may be Emotionally Centered, but his Emotional Body is "Dead." This would mean that the fragment still navigates life based on attraction and repulsion relative to Inspiration (emotion), but has closed down any vitality to his Emotional Body, hence having "closed down" his Heart Chakra. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: In other words, his other bodies may still move through life in relation to what is or isn't inspiring, but his Emotional Body has cut off contact with his Essence. In response to DEB, we did elaborate on the Anchor/Counterpart, and can do so further if that was not enough. [Karine] so a body's death is basically the rejecting of essence? [Deb22] I was referring to our primary needs: Freedom, Adventure, Exchange, Expression, etc. and was asking for the correlation [Martha] that's a big question Deb [Deb22] I realize that but I think it is most relevant to our discussion MEntity: We are responding to the questions as we see them in order above. We suggest a halt on the questioning now until we have responded to each that has already been posted. [Geraldine] I don't think Needs applies to this -- we'll never get to issues about how to do up a Turning Point consciously at this rate MEntity: We explained what a "counterpart" and anchor is in relation to energetic healing, but the short answer would that a counterpart or anchor is a specific symbol or tangible object that acts as a medium for the energy that is being transmitted for healing purposes. Those symbols and objects are completely subject to the creativity and sense of personal relevance between the healer and healed, and are not specific to the different bodies. We are now to Maureen's question of "what actually takes place during energetic healing?" Whether Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual, any healing is a corrective frequency relative to that body. More specifically, it is a return to order from chaos, or alignment from disarray. When we say that it is a return to order from chaos, we say that in terms of relativity. What may be order, or beauty, to one person's body is chaos to another's. [Martha] Can we hold more questions until we hear about how to consciously create a TP? we're going to run out of time MEntity: For example, what an Older Soul sees in a Baby Soul's being "born again" is "ugly" compared to the beauty the Baby Soul actually experiences in that healing. [Deb22] Suggestion: Why can't we continue this topic next month? It is clear, it is massive. MEntity: Keeping this in mind can help when one acts as a healer, either professionally or as a friend. Healing is something that must be determined by the recipient, not the sender. (We can respond to the remaining questions above, and still cover the "how to" part of our discussion, if everyone has approximately 30 minutes remaining to participate.) [Maureen] OK [Martha] ok [Geraldine] ok [Karine] alright [Deb22] ok MEntity: In response to Deb regarding Mandalas: yes, this would be included in our explanation that symbols are counterparts/anchors for healing. In response to Maureen about hand-on healing and length of effect: We would have to say that it is often wise to consider healing as a matter of "treatment," rather than as a form of miracle. This means that, in most cases, healing is a process, not a product. Each recipient would require different different numbers of sessions, and different degrees of focus for the healing. This is something that would be determined based upon the needs of the individual. In response to Deb regarding the 9 Needs: to the degree that one's Needs are met is a fairly accurate degree to which the bodies are healthy. The less one satisfies his Needs, the more one will degenerate in relation to that Need, depending on how one has prioritized that need and its necessity to satisfy. Though the different Needs could correlate to the different Bodies, it is more accurate to say that for EACH Body the 9 Needs MUST BE SATISFIED to some degree for that Body to be healthy. So, for instance, the Emotional Body will have its Tier of 3 Primary Needs to satisfy, but will still need all 9 to be healthy. In response to Karine about the body's death being a rejection of Essence: No, the Physical Body's death is not always about the "rejection" of Essence, but it is always a result of Essence withdrawing or being blocked from the Body. Death or the Turning Point of any Body is motivated by either Transmutation or Desperation. Therefore, when the Physical Body dies, it can be from the positive morphing into another step of its evolution, or from desperation that might lead to something like suicide. Of course, we can elaborate upon all of our responses as necessary, but we will now speak about the "how to" part of our exchange with you. If any of you can look at any part of your life as represented by the Bodies (Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual) and have found yourselves stating that "something has GOT to change," then you may be in need of a Turning Point. If you are in need of a Turning Point, then it will either happen as a result of Desperation as that particular level of life, or Body, is threatened or dies, or you can choose to generate that Turning Point on your own, and on your own terms. The reason most fragments rely on Desperation to generate a Turning Point is because it is "easier" in that it feels as if it is something that happens TO you, rather than FROM you. And therein lies the difference: consciously choosing/creating a Turning Point means that is must come FROM you, not TO you. One does NOT need to be near death, or dead, in that Body in order to generate a Turning Point. When one is consciously creating a Turning Point, it is not dependent on which Body is near death, but can be based upon your Overleaves and the inherent strength and weaknesses of your own design. When a Turning Point is generated, either consciously or unconsciously, it is a profound redirection of DOING, BEING, HAVING, or KNOWING. These correlate to the Axes of the Overleaves. DOING=Action BEING=Inspiration HAVING=Expression KNOWING=Assimilation If one might choose to consciously create a Turning Point, then one might look at his or her Overleaves and see which Axis is lacking the most emphasis. This would be your first clue or step in generating your Turning Point. For instance, if one is not a King or Warrior, and does not have Submission/Dominance, Perseverance, Aggression, Cynic, Realist, Moving Centering, or a Mars/Venus Body Type, then it might mean that you would most benefit from DOING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. If you are lacking in the Inspiration Overleaves, it might mean that you would benefit most from starting to BE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Expression Overleaves might mean it would benefit you to HAVE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Assimilation might mean KNOWING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. DOING something different is probably the most obvious in terms of what one can do to generate a Turning Point. BEING something different would mean profoundly changing the dynamics of your behavior to reflect what it is that inspires you. BE THAT. HAVING something different would mean profoundly changing what it is that you take/receive from the world around you. KNOWING something different would mean profoundly changing how you interpret your experiences. Of course, no Turning Point can be completed without ALL of those being addressed: Doing, Being, Having, and Knowing. But your Overleaves can help you to see where you might need to start, first. The fact may be that your true Turning Point would come when you reach the KNOWING part of the equation, even if you start with the DOING part. So keep this in mind when you begin your steps. Based on what we have just shared, do each of you understand your Overleaves enough to see what might be your own first step in a Turning Point, if you chose to consciously create one? [LisaC] yes; mine would be Doing [Martha] I think so (Seeing as how I have almost NO action emphasis) [Karine] mine would be doing, too MEntity: And the rest of you? [Geraldine] I think everything hinges on "how I interpret" things [Maureen] I have a mix [Karine] Should one also take a look at what overleaves they are sliding to? (if some of them are on the neutral axis) MEntity: Karine, no, the primary Overleaf should be the primary means for determining this, but we can say that the "sliding" can help to show what area might be a next step in the process. [Karine] ok [Deb22] I did what I always do, DO, but now that I have done; I am BEING. Where am I in my bodies' resurrections? [Geraldine] I'm a little curious how one would DO before one KNOWS? [Martha] I know I need to do something different, but I don't know what it is [Maureen] I walked on "Fire" before I knew MEntity: As we said, all parts of the process will have to be addressed for a complete Turning Point, but a first step is always necessary. In the case where DOING may be addressed before KNOWING, it would mean that it is obvious that certain actions are generating certain results, which would either mean DOING something else more specific to the desired results, or the halting of the Doing that is causing the undesirable results. The reason this might work better for those lacking Action Overleaves is because those Personalities rarely "Know" something (as in, being able to interpret things differently) until they DO something that breaks a pattern. It is not necessary for one to "know" what to do differently, but to DO something profoundly different is the key. This may be as obvious as doing the opposite of what you would normally do, or just doing something "different" for a change, as in taking a random trip, or breaking out in dance in the moment. Keep in mind that for each of these, they are a spectrum: Doing/Not Doing; Being/Not Being; etc. Sometimes the profundity is in the NOT. One way to keep yourself "on your toes" regarding your starting point of Transformation is to mark your more familiar moment with "Maybe I'm Wrong." For instance, "I have to do it this way because my situation demands that I do it this way." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I know it means this because it's obvious that it means this." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I want this and need this because I've earned it and deserve it!" "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I am a big loser." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." If you find that you are frustrated with your direction on any level, it will truly help you to consider that you may be wrong. Suggesting this to yourself can help you to spark your creativity in finding other solutions and directions. Keep in mind that a consciously-created Turning Point is a slower process and one that requires your active participation. Putting a coin of effort into the slot of Doing will not immediately generate a jackpot of success from Being, Having, and Knowing. Your sequence of steps is just a suggestion, and we have already pointed out where to start, but where you will end is often suggested by the Axis where your Overleaves are most concentrated. [Martha] I have been very frustrated lately, wanting to DO something but not knowing what — this should help MEntity: A final thought for you consider is that the force that will keep each step flowing into the next, and generating results that will lead to Transmutation, is FOLLOW-THROUGH. [Geraldine] damn -- but what if I have a CF of procrastination? [Martha] (you're gonna knock Troy out of trance) [Geraldine] (just trying to make Michael laugh) MEntity: There is no Chief Feature of Procrastination, but the humor is not lost on us: we would suggest in response to this that if one is plagued by Procrastination, then one actively create a structure or relationship of Accountability. Accountability is the only solution for Procrastination. With all of this background information, and insight into your Overleaves as a tool for change, we think each of you can set in motion your own Turning Point, if you choose to do so. [Karine] how long does it take to create a successful Turning Point? a few months/years? does it depend on the situation? [Deb22] My bodies — the emotional, the spiritual, the intellectual are experiencing profound changes since my trip to SE Asia. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture. Exciting, but scary. Stillness versus movement. Any suggestions that can help? MEntity: We will respond to these final two questions, but must conclude after that. Karine, the length of time it takes is always relative to the effort, and the magnitude of redirection that is sought. If one wants to take better care of her body so that it moves into a natural state of health, then that can take effect almost immediately; but if one would like to redirect from a career of law enforcement to a career in ballet, it might take more time and commitment. Deb, our best response to your question is to suggest that you now LISTEN TO YOURSELF. That is key in your sustaining your momentum. Listen. And, of course, Follow Through. We must conclude here. If further, more intimate discussion is required, we suggest arranging a follow up discussion/chat within the month that may help. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
OMW - Apr 3, 2011 - Personality Pathways Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here now. We will share with you some insights about using the Personality Overleaves in a way that may make them more useful and applicable when examining behavior patterns and shared dynamics between yourself and others. What we will begin with then is how your Personality was "designed" in the first place by your Essence. The process of creating a Personality evolves over lifetimes, but begins in the Infant Soul Age as "throwing together" anything that is more compatible with the defaults of the Essence Design already chosen. For instance, a higher "Female" Energy fragment would tend toward beginning lifetimes, literally, in a female body. The higher female and higher frequency Overleaves tend to be the Exalted Overleaves, and the higher male and lower frequency Overleaves tend to be the Ordinal Overleaves. Depending on the combination of Essence Role, Frequency, and Energy Ratio, your "defaults" would be determined. If there are extremes in that Essence design, then the Assimilative Overleaves come in handy. Over lifetimes, this process becomes far more comprehensive because there is more information and experience to consider in the making of a Personality. Over lifetimes, this process becomes far more comprehensive because Essence begins to define certain patterns of exploration and interests, not only based upon its accumulation of experiences gathered through the Personalities, but because there are certain "wishes" to fulfill for some Personalities. This process also becomes far more comprehensive because the positions within the Entity become fleshed out, so to speak, and the contributions to the Entity become important as an intention, rather than as a byproduct. Over the course of lifetimes and Soul Ages, the "core" of Personality will shift. The "core" of a Personality can always be any Overleaf, but there does tend to be a consistency in what is the core relative to Soul Ages. The core of a Personality can be the Goal, Mode, Attitude, or Body Type. By "core," we mean it tends to be the leading Overleaf for that Personality around which all other Overleaves become dependent. The core is what "feeds" the other Overleaves, if you will; the hub around which the other Overleaves revolve or extend. As the soul grows older, its choice of core becomes far more flexible, but the consistency is still set enough to consider it worth knowing the correlations. The MODE is the core of most Infant Souls; the ATTITUDE is the core for most Baby and Old Souls; the GOAL for most Young Souls; and the BODY TYPE (and by extension, Centering) for most Mature Souls. The Mode, by the way is usually the Core for most fragments who host Transcendental Souls, while the Goal is the Core for most fragments who host the Infinite Souls. We will pass over the "reasons" for all of this for now so as to get to the more applicable information, but can discuss the details as time permits. For most Old Souls, the core then is the Attitude. Keeping in mind that what we say for the Old Soul can be applied to the other Soul Ages and their corresponding Cores, we will elaborate. We have said before, without this background elaboration, that the Attitude is the core of the Personality, and for the Attitude to fall into the Negative Poles means that the Chief Features are far more likely to come forth, and the other Overleaves are most likely functioning from the Negative Poles. To bring the Personality from a state of Falseness and into a state of Trueness, the Attitude would have to be moved back into its Positive Pole, which would then feed into the rest of the Personality, in a kind of cascading effect, giving rise to the Positive Poles in the other parts of their Personality. While it is always helpful to understand the Poles for each Overleaf, and how to bring each into the Positive Pole if necessary, the "short cut" is always through the movement of the Attitude back into its Positive Pole, particularly for the Baby and Old Souls. Unless, of course, your Personality is an anomaly among the tendencies. Understanding your Core means understanding your primary platform or navigational tool for living the life. For those who have the Attitude as the Core, it would mean that the life is primarily built upon philosophical platforms, and navigation is done through how experiences, people, and events align with or conflict with your Attitude/Philosophy. For the Baby Souls, this tends toward like-mindedness and absolutes, whereas the Old Soul tends toward challenges and flexibilities. The "manifested" Soul Age can tend to throw the emphasis of a Personality into a different Core, which is part of the process toward wholeness in the Internal Monads; aligning oneself back to one's core. Before we continue into more details, we will take a few questions regarding what has been shared so far, if there are any. QUEUE OPEN FOR QUESTIONS [Oscar] you mentioned "...the positions within the Entity become fleshed out, so to speak, and the contributions to the Entity become important as an intention...", would you elaborate on how that works exactly and how that works for wild cards? MEntity: The Positions within the Entity are chosen by Essence (and to say "within" is not quite a literal term, by the way), and along with those Positions come general functions for the entity. Those general functions are a learned process, and not something that just happens because of a positioning. We will share an analogy: Imagine a bus load of fragments who have discussed along the way what each is excited about, afraid of, worried about, and feels strongly about experiencing at the amusement park toward which they are headed. Everyone has chosen a "seat" in the bus that corresponds to what each has already decided fits what it thinks he would be interested in, and good at, collecting for the bus load of friends. These positions are based on uncountable cycles of the universe and the capturing of various universal experiences relative to incarnational cycles. But for the sake of simplicity and our amusement park analogy, we will say that one fragment has decided he is in charge of collecting memorabilia, and another is in charge of taking polls, and another is in charge of sampling foods, etc. Every other fragment will also collect memorabilia, take polls, and sample foods, but this particular fragment in this chosen Position will be the one to which the other fragments "report" their experiences, and that particular fragment may have a theme with an emphasis on his function. By "fleshed out," we meant that each fragment then decides and learns how it best handles their function. Some will collect from the other fragments and update records for the entity only between lives; others will seek to find those who are focusing on experiences that are relevant to his function during the lifetime and create a stream of updating via various methods (dreams, meditation, daydreaming, etc). Some will find ways of organizing the data, while others will "pile it up," etc. Eventually, each position will bring his function/records from the park and back onto the bus, and then the process of organizing ALL of that begins. The "wild cards" tend to have between 2 to 7 functions/positions within the entity, with an emphasis on one of them. The task for the wild card then is to create its own system for managing these additional functions/positions, and this can tend to get rather chaotic in the earlier soul ages, and come together in the later soul ages. Wild Cards, ironically, become some of the most-focused, streamlined, and tunnel-visioned of all fragments in the entity during the older soul ages. [TimW] What is the best way to validate where one's "core" focus is? For instance, if my attitude is spiritualist (which I'm still seeking to validate), how would this look different if it is the core focus from when it is not? MEntity: The first consideration for validation would be in terms of how the life is being "built." Regardless of all of the nuances, is the life being built from your Ambitions (goals), your Philosophies (attitudes), your Relationships (modes), or your Behavior (body types). All of these will be involved, of course, and depending on various contexts and where one is with the Internal Monads, any could be emphasized, but there would tend to be an underlying, obvious theme for those who are self-observant. Where you life is RIGHT NOW gives one an idea about the core that it has been built from. Is it primarily actively ambitious, primarily philosophical, primarily relationships, primarily behavioral (empathic, assimilative). We are not finding the "right word" for the Mature Soul core as it relates to the Body Type, but we will eventually get that through. For now, we will refer to it as Behavioral, as this is how we will umbrella the concept of assimilating empathy. To put all of this another way: what matters MOST to you on a more regular and private basis? the accomplishments of the life; the interpretations of life; the relationships of life; or the way life treats you and you treat life? The answer for most of you will be that all of these matter, because you are Older souls, but there is one that should stand out as the most obvious and consistent, especially in your private navigations. The core then is around which all of the others revolve. For most Old Souls, the way life is interpreted is the core, and then relationships, ambitions, and behaviors revolve around that. As we are sharing new information through our channel, we ask now if this is making sense to you? [ClaireC] Could you elaborate on "manifested soul age can tend to throw the emphasis of a Personality into a different core"? MEntity: Over the course of a lifetime, the emphasis of core will evolve, eventually to align with the true core. This process of alignment is the same process for manifesting Essence, or True Personality. If one is in his teens and working through the 3rd Internal Monad, his emphasis of core may have his Goal of the Personality leading him. Everything, then, would be a matter of whether he is accomplishing that Goal, or taking on the challenges relative to that Goal. However, if he is an Old Soul, he would eventually find his Attitude a far more comfortable Core for leading the life, and calibrate the Personality around that Overleaf at some point. Until then, there may be a sense of being skewed, unsettled, restless, etc. because the emphasized core is not the true core. The process of returning to one's core is a natural process, and that process is not one that should be considered necessary to find shortcuts or that there is a standard speed. That process is simply "growing up," if you will. However, the older one gets in physical and psychological age, the more that gap between the emphasized core and the true core can become, and this can become problematic. If your true core is the Attitude because you are an Old Soul, yet you have emphasized the Body Type core (manifesting Mature) or the Goal core (manifesting Young), and you are in your 50's, it can become painful and internally/externally isolating. However, there are flexibilities in the Personality that emphasize the various Overleaves, and this is a healthy functioning of the Personality that does not shift its core. We will speak of this in a moment. When we speak of someone's "manifested" soul age, we are referring to a sustained emphasis, and not just a flexibility of focus for various contexts. So the farther away from ones technical soul age one is "manifesting," the farther away one may be from his core, as well, and the less comfortable and aligned within and without one might feel. We will continue with the topic now. Over the course of lifetimes, your Essence creates your Personalities with more information, experience, and intentions, and that is reflected in the choice of what Core Overleaf is first chosen. In that process, the Core Overleaf becomes the "spokesperson," if you will, for the rest of the design of the Personality. This may be difficult to imagine, and we are limited by analogies here, but we will try to convey the process. Essence would choose the Attitude, first, for example, and so it is that the Spiritualist, for example, is then informed by Essence as to what the plans and intentions and Karma etc. are for the life ahead. The feedback from the Spiritualist is then considered for which Overleaf is chosen next. This naturally changes the Personality immediately, and that combination now chooses the next Overleaf. This second Overleaf chosen is the Support Overleaf. The third Overleaf is the Seed Overleaf. The fourth Overleaf is the Navigational Overleaf. As this is new information for our channel, other terms could be used, such as the Correctional or Calibrational Overleaf. The Support Overleaf does whatever the Core Overleaf leads into and adds to its emphasis, and generally supports the entire Personality. An example: a Spiritualist interprets life as a spectrum of Possibilities, and in its positive pole will Investigate those Possibilities; if that person has his Goal of Acceptance as a Support Overleaf, then the Positive Pole of Agape would embrace whatever opportunity/possibility comes forth from the life. If that same Spiritualist is in the Negative Pole and goes forward into experiences with unquestioned Beliefs, then Acceptance would support this with an inclination for Ingratiation, or doing what is felt to be necessary for accepting/being accepted. The Seed Overleaf is that Overleaf through which all experiences are then funneled into tangibility. For instance, then, the Spiritualist with a Goal of Acceptance has his Seed Overleaf as the Mode of Observation. This would translate into the life primarily being built from philosophies and perspectives, or the interpretation of life, and then supported by the accomplishments or actions of the Goal, and then manifested or played out in Relationships. In other words, the results of the efforts of the Core and its Support could be checked against how well Relationships are going, and what is going on in them, the health of those relationships, etc. In this case, if the Core and Support are in the Negative Poles, then the Relationships/Mode may very well be, as well, and Relationships may be experienced as having a sense of isolation, lack, distance, ineffectiveness, etc. as Observation is in Surveillance, or watching, but not living. In this case, the Calibration Overleaf would be the Body Type, and it could be that the health becomes a factor in how one processes, removes, or corrects the events, situations, or relationships, etc. In the example above, it might be that the Body Type that manages the health of the body is Venusian, and if the Core, Support, and Seed are in the Negative Poles, then the health may fall into "sloppiness," or a rather chaotic collapse that forces attention to it as a means for correction, removal, or full processing. We would like to check in here to see if we are conveying this information clearly enough. Is this pattern of the Personality making sense so far? [TimW] yes, thank you [Jill] yes [Oscar] yes [Mstudent_al] yes, very [Maureen] yes - but complex MEntity: We will continue, then. [ClaireC] yes, very much so MEntity: As each of you experience your life, you will have these patterns of Personality that are core patterns, but there will be certain contexts that require flexibilities, and while this will never usurp your core patterns, the flexibility comes in handy for new experiences. The Overleaf that takes the lead in projects and when working with others sharing an intention that seeks tangibility is the GOAL. The Overleaf that takes the lead in social situations and especially when first introducing yourselves is the ATTITUDE. The Overleaf that takes the lead in relationships and especially when the intention is intimacy (and not limited to romantic intimacy, of course) is the MODE. The Overleaf that takes the lead in bonding and creating common grounds through which experiences can be mutually shared is the Body Type. Understanding these various contexts of emphasis can help in these various contexts. Knowing that upon first meeting someone, regardless of his or her Core, you will most likely share your own, and "meet" his or her, Attitude, first, can be enlightening. Knowing that it might take up to three exchanges for the Modes to become involved can be helpful for when it seems that you and the other person suddenly begin revealing a different level or facet of yourselves. Knowing that your Attitudes and Modes may have to be set aside for a project and that your innate skills as relative to your own GOAL are most necessary for that project can help one to not take things personally and to focus on the tasks at hand. Knowing that being around each other in shared physical space, and how that is played out, is a vital factor in how well you can share common ground and process experiences together can be quite helpful. We will refer to these as Contextual Cores. These do not lead to patterns within, as the Core Pattern cannot be usurped, but the Contextual Core would be the part of your Core Pattern that is shared with others. For instance, if someone's Core Pattern is Attitude, Goal, Mode, Body Type, and he is in a project-oriented context, bringing forth the Contextual Core of his Goal, he will still first have chosen this project because of his Core Philosophy, and this project must in some way support that. [Oscar] Could you give the Core Pattern for each of us (Core, Support, Seed, Calibrational/Navigational Overleaves)? MEntity: Before we would share with any of you a Core Pattern based upon our interpretation of you, we would first encourage each of you to assess this for yourself. We can say that for most Old Souls, the Core Pattern tends to be Attitude, Goal, Mode, Body Type, but that is a tendency, not a standard. For Mature Souls, the Core Pattern tends to be Body Type, Mode, Goal, Attitude. For Young Souls: Goal, Mode, Body Type, Attitude. For Baby Souls, Attitude, Modes, Goals, Body Types. For Infant Souls, Mode, Attitude, Body Types, Goals. These, again, are tendencies, and not standards. All of this information shared today would require another round of discussion for elaboration, but this is a start. To help you in assessing your Core Pattern, we will offer a kind of phrase that may help: My life is built and shaped around/by my A) Philosophies/Perspectives, B) Ambitions/Pursuits, C) Relationships/Intimacies, or D) Behaviors and Health, which is supported by or challenged by my A) Philosophies/Perspectives, B) Ambitions/Pursuits, C) Relationships/Intimacies, or D) Behaviors and Health,.... and plays out most obviously in my A) Philosophies/Perspectives, B) Ambitions/Pursuits, C) Relationships/Intimacies, or D) Behaviors and Health, and is sometimes/often corrected by, processed by, or altered by my A) Philosophies/Perspectives, B) Ambitions/Pursuits, C) Relationships/Intimacies, or D) Behaviors and Health. Using that crude phrasing, each of you might be able to share what you feel is your Core Pathway as you understand it currently. To make it easier, you can simply post the lettering associated with the various components. [Maureen] So the 'arrangement' of your Core 'package' would account for the order of what is 'cascaded' when one brings back their True Personality from their False? For example: A/B/C/D [TimW] I'm thinking mine: A/D/C/B MEntity: Yes, Maureen. [Elaine] acbd [Oscar] A/D/B/C [Martha] A/B/C/D? MEntity: For instance, if one has a pattern of A, B, C, D, and it has come to a place where the body's health (d) is reflecting the states of A, B, C, then the process of healing would begin with the Attitude, and then the Goal, and then the Relationships, before the body might show obvious recovery. This would not be the case in every blip of illness, but for those that alter the life in some way. [Maureen] I think I'm standard ~ A/B/C/D [Jill] ACDB [ClaireC] *A/D/C/B ? [Elaine] I am unsure about if I'm ACBD or ACDB MEntity: If you would like to be clearer, translate your post into more relevant correspondences: A = A (attitude), B = G (goal), C = M (mode) D = B (body type). So your pattern may be A, G, M, B in this case. Now that you have this information, you may take it and use it over your next week or so as you observe the patterns of your life, and see if your first assessment is still accurate. [Mstudent_al] I think i'm AGMB; B in behavior more then health MEntity: The information shared here is to allow for you to do the "work" part of "workshop." There is far more to this information that is available for elaboration, such as a more comprehensive definition of Core, Support, Seed, and Calibration Overleaves, as well as what it would mean for the Goal, Mode, Attitude, or Body Type to be in those positions. In addition to the elaborations, we will also mention that one's Core Pattern affects how one provokes or is provoked by another fragment's Core Pattern, and we can share more on that, later. Understanding your Core Pattern can help you to see the hows, whys, and whats of your experiences so that you can more effectively determine how, why, and what you experience. [Elaine] Karoliina received the following information regarding the process of solidifying of overleaves during 2nd IM. "During the 2nd Internal Monad, the first of the Overleaves will begin to manifest, and this will set the stage for the general arc of the entire lifetime. For instance, if the Attitude sets first, then the life would take on a more philosophical or Intellectual tone; whereas if the Mode is activated, then the life may bring more emphasis to the themes of relationships and intimacy, while the Goal would bring a life focused more on the gaining of experiences for the point of that Goal." Would that be different or connected to the core overleaf? Would the overleaf that manifests first during the 2nd IM always be the core overleaf, or not necessarily? MEntity: What you quoted from us is an elaboration without the context that we were able to share with you today. During the 2nd Internal Monad, the Core Pattern begins its arc of manifestation through the Personality, which may or may not set the stage for a challenging lifetime. If the Core Pattern is A/G/M/B, and the pattern initiates as G, then this becomes part of the process of the 3rd and 4th Internal Monad for alignment with the Core. [Elaine] So it is the core pattern which would manifest first during the 2nd internal monad? MEntity: ANY pattern can initially manifest, but it may not be aligned with the Core Pattern already in place; however, for the older souls, the Core is usually manifested during that time as it is already set. This is why it becomes a far more comprehensive project in designing and planning the lifetime the older the soul gets, because imprinting and too many random factors can affect the development of the Personality in ways that can be very difficult to recover from. But there are always parallel versions of the Personality that may do better than others, in terms of aligning with its Core Pattern. The farther the Personality from its Core, the less the Essence is allowed into the life, and Essence must "wait" until the life is over for the experiences to be collected from that Personality. [Oscar] You mentioned: "a Spiritualist interprets life as a spectrum of Possibilities." How do the other Attitudes interpret life? MEntity: The Spiritualist might be best understood as interpreting life as if he has never seen it before; the Stoic interprets life as if he has seen it all before; the Skeptic interprets life as if it can all be disproven; the Idealist interprets life as if it can all be improved; the Cynic interprets life the opposite of what it appears to be; the Realist interprets life as it appears to be; the Pragmatist will use whatever interpretation is most effective (or dogmatic). [Maureen] Is the pattern always the same - forwards and backwards - from False back to True and so on...i.e. A/M/G/B towards True and then B/G/M/A towards False? Is it that predictable? MEntity: Think of the Core Pattern in the same way that body, itself, processes life: food must be taken in and moves through a pattern before releasing what is not of use. So the Core Pattern is just as static, in terms of how it best functions for Essence to manifest. However, as with even the Physical Body, the process does not have to be entirely static, but those times when it is not, the alteration is usually to accommodate an extreme scenario, such as one who may have to have food provided intravenously instead of through chewing. One's Core Pattern is how one naturally uses the Personality for the processing of Life, and using the Personality in its inherent pattern frees it for manifestation of Essence, but only if it chooses to use this inherent pattern. No Personality is required to do so, and its happiness or lack thereof is not dependent upon it; it just tends to be "easier" when allowed. Ironically, it is far more effort to override the Core Pattern than it is to use it, but many people choose to create from themselves someone else' idea about who they should be, rather than naturally being who they are. To fall back into the Core Pattern is a great relief for the bank of energy each of you have for use in a lifetime, which is a finite amount of energy, by the way. If 40% of your energy is being used to sustain someone else' idea of who you should be, this is 40% of your energy that is not being used for creating/nurturing what it is you truly desire. To be more specific in response to your question, it is only the Core that is necessary for concern when focusing on bringing the Personality back into True Personality. So if the Personality's Core is the Attitude, then to focus on bringing the Attitude back into the Positive Pole would naturally cascade through the rest of the Pattern. There is not a real "pattern" for manifesting False Personality, except in that the predominance of Negative Poles describes the degree to which one is manifesting the False Personality. And if there is a pattern, it would tend to be that if the Core is the Attitude, and it falls into the Negative Pole, it would then cascade through the rest of the Core Pattern. The Pathways tend to be unidirectional, and tend to start with the Core, but because they are connected like electrical pathways, the "currents," technically, could travel in either direction in effect. The same could be said of the pathways of the body: inserting something into the anus can cause the mouth to respond. We will conclude here with you today.
OMW - Aug 7, 2010 - Me and My Karma Troy Tolley, Channel (Note: At the end, the enthusiasm of asking more questions kept on. Troy is supposed to answer those questions. glb) [MEntity] The subject of Karma can be broken down into the two familiar categories of Karma: Self-Karma and Essence-Karma. Most of our students use the term "Karma" to mean that Karma generated between Essences, or Soul-Karma. But these are two distinct categories of Karma: Self-Karma and Soul-Karma, or Essence-Karma, if you prefer to keep with terminology familiar to our teaching. Karma, regardless of category, is a word that describes an imbalance generated from INTENSITY. The degree to which that Intensity is initially experienced is the degree to which that Karma is sub-categorized further within its own category: Major, Minor, and Sundry. This applies even to the category of Self-Karma. The difference between Self-Karma and Soul-Karma is that one is generated on a scale that is contained within the single lifetime and the current Personality, and the other is on a scale that transcends any particular lifetime or Personality. Self-Karma is generated within a lifetime, is contained within that lifetime, and is either resolved, or not, within that lifetime. Motion in this universe is a result of imbalance, so it could be said that Karma is one of the major evolutionary tools that is used by consciousness to grow and move forward. Aside from Essence Recognition, Karma is one of the only ways through which an Essence does evolve, hence its popularity and appeal, despite how messy or painful it can often be to the Personalities involved. Self-Karma is generated within oneself when one begins to generate issues, interpretations, and/or conflicts that divide oneself in a way that pits part of the self against another part. These Self-Karma may be generated from a burst of Intensity or from a build of Intensity, but it is the Intensity that generates the Karma. An extreme of polarities is what generates the Intensity. We know that most of you are familiar with much of the basics we will share here, but for a succinct delivery here, we will not presume to skip those basics. Soul-Karma is generated between one's Essence and another Essence when Intensity generates Imbalance between oneself and another. The key ingredient within all Karma is INTERFERENCE; more specifically, Interference of Choice. Self-Karma and Soul-Karma are not generated without some degree of Interference of Choice. This is obvious on the scale of Soul-Karma, but it is not as obvious on the scale of Self-Karma. On the scale of Self-Karma, those divisions within the self must be interfering with your own capacity to choose for it to be Self-Karma. And so it is that those three elements must be involved for true Karma to have been generated: INTENSITY, IMBALANCE, and INTERFERENCE. One can have an issue with body image, and not have Self-Karma if those three elements are not involved. One can murder another person and not generate Karma if those three elements are not involved. An example of the former might be one who does not enjoy being overweight, and so he keeps himself on a strict exercise routine. He still has body image "issues," but he is actively choosing how to deal with that. An example of the latter might be in the form of euthanasia wherein the very act of murder is embraced. We give those as obvious examples, but there are more complex examples that may not be as easy to understand. In the end, however awful or complicated an issue or event may be, it may or may not involve Karma. Karma is a very personal thing, if you will. [Geraldine] Are the tit-for-tat External Monads karmic? [MEntity] They may or may not be. They are often excellent contexts for Karma, so most often they are Karmic in generation or resolution, but that is not necessary. When one generates Soul-Karma, we describe the record of that imbalance between two Essences as a "Ribbon." We use that term because it almost-literally describes what remains between two Essences when Karma is generated. From an Astral and Causal perspective, one can see literal ribbons stretching among fragments still entangled in Karma. Since there is no physicality as you experience it, those Ribbons do not get snared or entangled with other ribbons, but remain stretched only between those who have generated them. They are more like frequencies than anything, and lock onto each involved. These are "connected" between the Instinctive Centers, or the Root Chakra. At the end of each lifetime, the Instinctive Center is the only Center that remains, with all other data from the other Centers burned to that disc, and this is "pulled" from the body much like a disc from a computer, and carried forth to be used for review, and in the next lifetime. When that disc is "plugged into" a new life, it does not inherently demand that the new Personality burn the Ribbons that have carried over. And this is very important to understand if one is to understand the nature of Choice and Free Will. One is NEVER affected by Past Lives, and one is NEVER obligated to burn Ribbons generated by a previous Personality. Instead, the current Personality will develop its own interests and directions and choices, and those will act as a kind of play of notes within the lifetime that then may resonate with a past life, and resonate with relevant Karmic Ribbons. [Bobby] sure seems like a lot of chance at play there [AnnH] Do we need to burn our ribbons, however, to cycle off the physical--move beyond the 7th Old and reunite with our Entity? That's been my understanding. [MEntity] So the Past is never imposed upon the Present, but the Present pulls in from the past what is relevant. This same equation applies from within a single lifetime. Your childhood never truly imposes itself upon your adulthood, but your adulthood may draw from childhood what is relevant for the present. To address Bobby and AnnH: Therein lies the art of creating a Personality. Essence learns over time how to create a Personality that is more inclined toward certain themes and interests, and while chance may still be involved, it does help the odds of at least one version (parallel) choosing to be open to the past and Ribbons. The 6th Level of every Soul Age inherently finds interest in the past and begins opening to Karmic Ribbons and the search for balance. As many Ribbons as possible are burned during each 6th Level, but not all get burned and then carry forth into the next Soul Age. ALL Major and Minor Karma will be burned before cycling off from the Physical Plane. By the time one is 7th Level Old, not only has most Karma already been addressed, but what might remain is mostly conceptual or emotional and can be done in dream state. Karmic Ribbons are also burned by generating very appealing pay offs for getting involved. [Bobby] I knew it... bribes! :-) [MEntity] For instance, Sex Karma is a very common, beloved, dramatic lure into burning a Ribbon. This is when one "falls in love" only to find that the one with whom one has had this lovely bonding suddenly springs a Ribbon up for burning. Karmic Ribbons, once brought up, are extremely compelling, much like being on the down-side of a hill on ice. [Brian_W] well, that explains most of the male gender [AnnH] Not just men, Brian. I've been on that slippery slope :) [MEntity] It is difficult to break the momentum once one has begun burning a Ribbon. Once the Ribbon is burned in Sex Karma, the partner suddenly seems like a stranger and one can hardly remember why one would ever be attracted to that person. [AnnH] What is Sex Karma, actually? [MEntity] As mentioned before, there are levels of Karma within Karma, so that there are Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual Karma. These are defined by technicalities, but they are often involving more than one of those areas. For instance, an Intellectual Karma may be when one has been tricked into thinking an investment is brilliant. Technically, this is a Conceptual Karma (Intellectual), but one can see that this will also affect one Emotionally and Physically. But for purposes of simplicity in burning Ribbons, the default context will always go to that technicality. Ann: Within those Karmic Contexts, there are lures that are set up for Personalities to find appealling in pulling up and addressing Karmic Ribbons. One of those lures is Sex. We refer to that as Sex Karma. There are a multitude of lures used. Money Karma, Sex Karma, Love Karma, Affection Karma, Acceptance Karma, Specialness Karma, Talent Karma, Power Karma. Depending on the Soul Age and the Personality, certain lures are planted and appealing over others. Despite our calling them 'lures,' it is important to point out that however compelling a Ribbon may be, one may reject the burning of that Ribbon, so one still has Choice. [Brian_W] But wasn't it just stated that it was much more difficult to stop the burning of a Ribbon once it has started? [MEntity] Much more difficult is not the same thing as lacking choice. [AnnH] Is it more difficult for the one who owes the karma to stop the burning than the one who is owed? [MEntity] It must be a mutual exchange. There are many times when one has set up for the burning of a ribbon "owed" to someone, and that person is not interested in taking that on. Balancing a Karma is just as disruptive as creating one. Or we should say, CAN BE. Continuing: Major Karma is that Karma which affects all levels of one's Being: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual. Minor Karma is that which affects from one to three levels. Sundry Karma is the only Karma that does not actually qualify as Karma, but is included because it is treated the same when it is involved. Sundry Karma never interferes with Choice, but interferes with intentions. It is still an Intensity and Imbalance and Interference, and so is treated as Karma. [Brian_W] would Sundry be considered "those mild annoyances of life?" [MEntity] For instance, you are excited about your wedding and have hired a hairdresser who chops off your bangs and burns your scalp just before the wedding. This is a survivable event on all levels, but certain throws a wrench into the life in a way that generates Imbalance, Intensity, and Interference. Sundry Karma is the only Karma that is not compelling to balance. You may never get to burn off the hair of that hairdresser in another life. Sundry Karma is also often balanced WITHIN the current lifetime and does not carry over. So that the Wedding Fiasco is balanced by a lawsuit or non-payment, etc. All Karma is Imbalance, so all Burning of Ribbons is Balance. To burn a ribbon, or to resolve Self-Karma, the process is always Tri-fold. NEGATIVE-POSITIVE-NEUTRAL, or POSITIVE-NEGATIVE-NEUTRAL. Always resolving in Neutrality. Most "negative" Karma, or those Karma that do not feel so great, are generated from Positive-Negative direction, and received from the Negative-Positive direction. For instance: the one who murders is coming from the Positive-Negative angle, while the one who is murdered receives from the Negative-Positive angle. To bring balance, those polarities must be reversed between the two. [Maureen] In the initial murder - what's the positive and what's the negative? [MEntity] Murderer=Positive since this is the person who activated/created the Karma. Positive in this case is used as the active force, whereas Negative is the receptive. [Maureen] polarities [MEntity] We are not using the terms as describing "good or bad." For most "positive" Karma, or that Karma which feels good, the reverse is true: it is initiated from Negative-Positive, and received as Positive-Negative. This is because most "positive" Karma, such as Philanthropic Karma, is an act of GIVING, not TAKING, and the recipient is Expanded by the experience, rather than Contracted. However, it is still Karmic because it is still Intensity, Imbalance, and Interference. Consider a fragment who is poor who has decided to live a life inspired by his experiences as a resource for his art. Upon having his first attempts at art discovered, a philanthropic gentleman funds the artist entirely, removing all obstacles and challenges that had initially inspired the artist. The artist is certainly not harmed, but does experience his loss of inspiration and artistic motivation, and while his life is for the better on many levels, he still experiences Intensity, Imbalance, and Interference because now he has a new life that was not anticipated or chosen. This same reversal of Polarities for balancing is important for understanding how to resolve Self-Karma, too. And it is also important to understand that Self-Karma also has such instances of "negative" or "positive" Karma, in that some feel good and others do not. "Negative" Self-Karma is obvious as body type issues, habits, addictions, etc. [Private] The artist though, in this instance, is not a victim. He did have a choice, did he not? And he chose to be helped. Maybe I'm just mincing words here. [MEntity] "Positive" Self-Karma can show up as winning the Lottery, having a completely fulfilling intimate relationship, and even having a beautiful day. In response to Private, it is true that he would have had to have chosen to receive the money, but that does not mean he could have anticipated the effects of that, much in the same way that one may "choose" to invest money in a false promise, only to find total loss. [Private] Thanks for the clarification, it was a little cryptic for me initially. [MEntity] The idea of money being a solution for so many problems is very enticing for many in your culture, so to have a windfall of sorts can often throw the life into a spin that could never have been anticipated, and does not solve any of the problems that exist beyond the paying of bills, or the having of certain things. [Private] Right on. [MEntity] In the same way that many have thought that suicide ends emotional despair, only to discover that those emotions are carried over even into the afterlife, so do many who think that money can solve the problems of life find that only new problems arise and old problems fester, even as the bills are now paid. Now, to lead into more personal territory, we will point out that despite the balancing of Karma, either Self- or Soul-, there tend to be patterns for each fragment. Infant Souls generate mostly Spiritual Karma, Baby Souls generate mostly Intellectual Karma, Young Souls generate the most Physical Karma, while Mature Souls generate mostly Emotional Karma. Old Souls tend to move from the emphasis on Soul-Karma toward Self-Karma. Those are patterns, but they are not rules. Across those Patterns, there can tend to be the patterns of Karma specific to a Fragment. [AnnH] I think money is physical. I'm betting Young (Maddoff). [MEntity] Yes, this was technically a Physical Karma in that case, though, of course, it touched on all levels, and is therefore a Major Karma. Each of you have found certain patterns across your incarnations as "fascinating" patterns for exploration in Karma. [Brian_W] I'm curious what those are, even if "I" as a personality didn't create them. [MEntity] For instance, even though one may learn as an Infant Soul what the effects of murder are, and the subsequent balancing of that, one might then murder again as Baby, Young, Mature, so as to experience it from all Soul Ages. As an Old Soul, those patterns can often turn into Self-Karmic explorations. We will share our perspective of each of your patterns as we can see on record for your past incarnations. ANN appears to have a large pattern that revisited the Karma generated from PILLAGING. BOBBY appears to have a large pattern that revisited the Karma generated from WRONGFUL IMPRISONMENT. BRIAN has a larger pattern that revisited the Karma generated from RAPE. Private has a larger pattern that revisited the Karma generated from POISONING. GERALDINE has a larger pattern that revisited the Karma generated from MIND FUCK. MARTHA has a larger pattern that revisited the Karma generated from ABDUCTION, or Kidnapping. MAUREEN has a larger pattern that revisited the Karma generated from LYING. Each of those patterns are not limited to your initial ideas prompted by the term. [AnnH] I get it, if you look at it differently than just physical pillaging. [Brian_W] uh, can't get too more specific with mine. [Geraldine] actually, it can be mental and physical, Brian. [Geraldine] it's taking something with force. [MEntity] None of these terms are specific other than their larger context that includes all versions of that word. [Bobby] If I'm understanding this, these are things we have done or have had done to us? [Geraldine] and I can see why you'd have a Life Task of "intimacy" -- rape is the antithesis of intimacy. [AnnH] wow, yes. [Geraldine] well, both, Bobby -- a pattern would imply payback, too. [MEntity] For instance, POISONING may be literally poisoning another into death, but we include the times when anything physical, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual was sneaked into another without their consent in a way that caused harm. [Private] that happened this lifetime, did it not emotionally, with my mother's actions? [MEntity] Keep in mind that if we are accurate in our assessment, one should be able to see these patterns reflected in your Self-Karma, in some form. [AnnH] I'm having trouble seeing it in my case. I have a feeling, but I'm not quite sure how it works with Self Karma. [Geraldine] sort of bending over backwards to NOT do it? [Bobby] your accuracy is also validated from the humor we find in it/ourselves. [MEntity] Ann, yours may show up in issues that revolve around what is rightfully yours vs what you think/feel is rightfully yours. Be it positions of recognition, fulfilling relationships, material well-being, etc. [Maureen] I think Geraldine hit on something - I have had the urge and did so all my life - to be so honest it hurt me many times. [AnnH] Ok. Now it just went from funny to painful. [MEntity] Geraldine, yes, often that is the case in these larger patterns: one is either extremely repulsed by association with it, and/or extremely fascinated by it. For instance, Troy's larger pattern is TORTURE. He is actively fighting against all forms of harm against innocent animals and people, yet his favorite genre of film is Horror. Maureen, we would agree with your assessment. Keep in mind that these patterns are not generated because of some kind of morbid interest, but because the exploration adds to the eventual resolve of those experiences for others, as well. [AnnH] I can see this with my creative work, in terms of Self-Karma. [Private] Could you elucidate more about my pattern of poisoning? This life it certainly showed up emotionally by my mother's treatment of me, did it not? And subsequently, the Self-karmic issues with my Realist Attitude. [Brian_W] so how does one work through it, knowing that we get extremely repulsed and / or fascinated by it? [Brian_W] as for me, as soon as I saw it come across my screen, its like the laughter and everything else died inside - rather suddenly too I might add. [MEntity] For instance, the pattern of RAPE is explored by Brian as a contribution to the learning in this universe about the range between literal Rape, all the way to the gentle comprehension and consideration of boundaries that may exist, even if one does not think they should. [Geraldine] but, I think, truly, that your Life Task of intimacy is tied to this pattern -- it's how you perceive being able to be "other." [Bobby] As for me, I'm like, if it balances it out, bring it on baby, bring it on! [Maureen] You Warriors and your challenges! [AnnH] Man, I can feel the domino effect of this all the way through this life. [Bobby] Now, I want to schedule another private with a list of names :-) [MEntity] In response to Brian: to the extent that one is still personally offended by the term we chose may be the extent to which one is in the middle of resolving issues related to that term. The extent to which one could laugh is also an indication as to how far one may have come in resolving, though still recognizing, the experiences related to the term. [Geraldine] I can feel the attraction/repulsion -- being able to perceive others' mindfucks -- absolutely no desire to do one of my own -- other than "maybe" as pranksterisms [Brian_W] Oh I absolutely understood why I was offended by it, it's still the easiest way to make me want to hit the "abort" button and run. [Maureen] Lying and Deception are still a Hot Button for me (well maybe used to be - could be old emotions!) [Geraldine] also, Brian, in our culture, it's considered far more heinous in many ways -- you're conditioned to be more reactive. [MEntity] (BRIAN) To resolve the issues related to the term we chose would mean simply continuing to do what you are doing. There are no shortcuts. In your case, in this current lifetime, it appears to us that the key would be in losing any sense of offense when boundaries are clarified for you. If boundaries are not easy for you to discern on your own, then it is important to receive feedback from others when that is offered, and that has to be seen as a resource of information, not as a source of offense. In response to Private: your interpretation of the term Poisoning appears to be fair, and your resolution would come from the fact that you are aware of the "poisoning." The key to the Poisoning as a pattern of Karma is that it was often injected without the awareness of the one who was poisoned (literally or figuratively). In your case, you are aware of the poisoning and have the opportunity to generate, find, or create an antidote. [Private] As you know, I'm working on it really hard. [AnnH] Somehow I feel like "pillaging" is what happened in some way to my work as a writer. It feels like anything I do is going to be taken and decimated. [MEntity] Private, that is all that one can do, actually. To continue to work through it. [Bobby] and in my case? :-) [MEntity] There are no shortcuts. [Bobby] how does one balance false-imprisonment except to be falsely imprisoned? [MEntity] To Bobby: your pattern may show up in issues around feeling trapped, isolated, or stuck in a position that is beyond your capacity to free yourself. Your resolution would come through the realization of CHOICE, and the responsibilities that the word implies. [Bobby] I completely understand that, thanks! [MEntity] The range that we include under "False Imprisonment" is between the obvious, literal wrongful imprisonment, to the act of blaming others for effects that were not of their cause. [Geraldine] After Martha's followup -- I'd like to know the difference between Mindfuck and lying -- or is it more of a power and control use? [MEntity] We will quickly leave each of you with our assessment of where you are in terms of your resolving your outstanding Karma in both Self- and Soul- levels. [Bobby] I sometimes feels I am enduring an at home imprisonment due to my lack of options... it makes sense. [MEntity] Our assessment will be in terms of percentages as we calculate how much Karma is outstanding versus how much is resolved. This assessment will be limited to the current life in terms of what it has intended (at this point) to take on. Before that, we will respond to the two remaining questions: In response to Martha: We use the term ABDUCTION to include the range between obvious stealing of another human being against his or her will, all the way to seduction and infidelity. This may show up in the current life as issues related to the latter, in terms of how much power Martha may feel she has in context of winning others over, even in specific cases related to seduction and being seductive, attractive, alluring, etc. In response to Geraldine: Mind Fuck is rooted Spiritually, whereas Lying is Intellectual. Mind Fuck is about convincing another to completely betray himself, whereas Lying is about betraying another. PERSONAL ASSESSMENTS: keep in mind that these are not competitive numbers, but relative numbers, and the higher the number is no indication of "better" or "worse." Keep in mind that one may have resolved 99% of his Self-Karma, yet still be consumed by that 1%. ANN has burned 79% of any Major or Minor Karma for this lifetime, and has resolved approximately 82% of her Self-Karma. BOBBY has burned 98% of his Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime, and has resolved approximately 65% of his Self-Karma. Brian has burned 60% of his Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime and has resolved approximately 80% of his Self-Karma. Private has resolved 77% of her Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime and has resolved 40% of her Self-Karma. Geraldine has resolved 100% of her Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime, and has resolved approximately 79% of her Self-Karma. Martha has resolved 89% of her Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime, and has resolved 90% of her Self-Karma. Maureen has resolved 99% of her Major and Minor Karma for this lifetime, and has resolved 85% of her Self-Karma. Again, keep in mind these numbers and our math are relative in calculation. [AnnH] Relative to...? [Geraldine] It just goes to show: a) have a misspent youth; and 2) live long enough -- and it all works out. [AnnH] Guess I got some livin' to do :) [MEntity] For instance, Geraldine remains with only two self-Karmic issues, but they account for only about 6 that were addressed in this life. [Geraldine] okok -- what are they? [MEntity] "Being Right" and "Being Needed." [Geraldine] lol [AnnH] hehehehe [Geraldine] ok -- I wouldn't have looked there, but those ARE a "bingo!" [Brian_W] eh, self-karma - you won't have to worry about them after this life anyway. [Maureen] What is my 1% of Soul-Karma left? [MEntity] We must conclude here, but your questions do not have to conclude here. We (and Troy) invite you to post your final questions that you would like to have addressed in the final transcript. Do so now, and start that line with QUESTION in all caps before the question. We will conclude with a response to Maureen: The 1% we see as remaining might be described as the issues related to "BEING USEFUL" or "Being Helpful." We will conclude here. Good day to each of you. Goodbye. [Private] QUESTION: Would you break down my Self-Karmic issues? Additionally, any help would be appreciated on major/minor Karma have not completed this lifetime. [AnnH] QUESTION: Could you tell me about "pillaging" in the context of "what's rightfully mine vs. what I think/feel is rightfully mine"? [Brian_W] QUESTION: What is the rest of my major / minor karma and Self-Karma in this life, and is it correct that my particular life task, true studies, and karmic history (in this life and others) are all tied together? [Bobby] Martha Question: What soul karma do I have left? [Maureen] QUESTION: Would you break down my Self Karmic Issues, please? [AnnH] QUESTION: Would you break down my self-karmic issues, too? [Bobby] Question: with 98% major and minor complete, what do I have left? At Old Soul 1, it doesn't seem like there is a lot left to do there. [Geraldine] Manoman . . .I'm convinced that Troy's first book should be on the topic of karma -- it's the most complex issue that I've seen [Geraldine] Bobby -- that was phrased "for this life" [Geraldine] not for ALL lives [Bobby] oh! [AnnH] QUESTION: How often have I chosen not to deal with burning Soul Karma ribbons in this lifetime? Eg., abrogated the opportunity? [Bobby] 1st part still applies though [Brian_W] Not a question, but any thoughts or commentary on how we may consider working through those karmas would be useful as well [Geraldine] you don't get to "volunteer" for karma, per se -- the essences sorta lay it out for you and you get lured in [Brian_W] Geraldine, it's also a topic that would sell well [Private] QUESTION: Is the unresolved major/minor karma have to do with those people in Santa Barbara at the time I met my essence twin, Sabrina? Namely, Jerg Jergensen and his friend? Also, Prasanna's household with Beni and Mary? [Geraldine] especially since so many are taught first in their learning curve that karma is "punishment" [Geraldine] I've also seen some good stuff that karma is still a "you create your own reality" construct, too [AnnH] Do these percentages relate to what Soul-Karma we thought we'd take on this lifetime? [Brian_W] true, I'm still curious what the Philanthropic Karma has been that I've generated over the centuries. [Geraldine] yes, Ann -- Michael prefaced it that way. [AnnH] That's an interesting one, Brian. [Brian_W] might be a good way to counter-balance the thoughts of "bad horrible mean karma." [Geraldine] Our assessment will be in terms of percentages as we calculate how much Karma is outstanding versus how much is resolved. This assessment will be limited to the current life in terms of what it has intended (at this point) to take on. (Note from Kasia: I've included comments from the original post with additional channelled information.) Comment from Troy on August 28, 2015: MIKE S WROTE: I can't quite reconcile these two statements. 1: 'Much of what happens after birth is out of the hands of Essence, so to speak, and a matter of choice, decisions, or lack thereof relative to the Personality.' 2: 'One is NEVER affected by Past Lives, and one is NEVER obligated to burn Ribbons generated by a previous Personality.' TROY REPLIES: Actually, these statements dovetail completely. Try this: 1) after you are born, choice is handed over to Personality. 2) Personality can choose to pick up the ribbons of previous Personality choices/karma, but that's optional, even if compelling. The key here is that Karma and themes/threads are compelling. It is all very enticing. So even though "you" are never obligated to pick up the thread of themes or the ribbons of Karma started by another Personality, those themes and ribbons and the payoff of completing or balancing these is oh so enticing. In very simplistic terms, imagine that one Personality-A walks into a room and bumps a picture hanging on the wall so that it now hangs crooked. Personality-A leaves the room. Now Personality-B walks in and that picture on the wall is crooked, and sure, you can ignore it, but ohhhh mannn, it's so crooked! So you reach out and balance it. Okay, so that's not as complicated as messy Karma, but you get the idea. As for how infant and toddler lifetimes work with Karma, Michael has said this: How do we handle Karma that is created as children? What happens when children are harmed or killed? MICHAEL: Karma is always optional for a Personality, regardless of age. If intensity and interference of choice is registered, Karma is generated. It will not matter if the Personality is fully present, or not. Essence tracks Karma. Personalities do not. Personalities help to generate Karma, forgive Karma, balance Karma, but they do not track Karma. If a child is murdered, the Personality may not have been awake enough to register the event as Karma, but Essence is fully aware, and this interference and intensity is immediately assessed. If a child is abused, tortured, or harmed in a way that interferes with Choice, Essence manages this. This is true of adults, as well, who are not with full cognitive capacity, or mentally unstable. The Personalities are a great part of the dynamic, but Essence has the clearest picture and does the tracking. This is true between Essences, as well. It is a given that any imbalance, intensity, and interference of choice generated in a life is part of what Essences must negotiate and consider across lifetimes. Karma is between Essences, not Personalities, and this is why any lifetime can bring the balance. While it is true that Karma is between Essences, the Personalities that generate Karma are directly involved in the balancing, either through a direct and intimate link to the current Personality doing the balancing, or through Astral replication of that balance. In other words, no Personality can walk away from its Karma. The intensity must be experienced from "both sides" for the Personality to burn that Ribbon. In lifetimes through the Young Soul Age, this balance most often comes in terms of "eye for an eye," but as the Essences mature, the interference of choice is not balanced by a reverse scenario of interference of choice, but is balanced through the return of choice. If one was murdered, then the balance is not found by murdering. Instead, the older souls will set up a scenario where the life is saved, and choices are expanded because of that saving of life. An abuse of a child in a previous life might be balanced by an adoption that provides profound nurturing. And so on. I hope this helps.
