OMW - Jan 15, 2011 - Doing Vs Being Channeled by Troy Tolley Michael: Hello to each of you. We are here. We will share what we can in the context of "Doing Vs Being" as Troy has titled this exchange. The emphasis in this exchange will be on your Centering, and your Part of Centering, as well as a quick assessment of yourself and your relationship to your life, and then some solutions or tools for fulfilling your intentions. First, it is to be understood that no fragment is without all Centers. There are 7 Primary Centers, which correlate to what you may know as the 7 Chakras. There are more Chakras/Centers beyond these 7, but they are not developed enough during a Physical Incarnation to be of any practical use as a tool, though they are used and active. Those Centers/Chakras beyond the 7 come into more relevant play in Higher Planes. Though Chakra and Center are interchangeable terms for the most part, we will point out that CENTER is very different in meaning than CHAKRA. A Chakra describes the vortex of energy that acts as a kind of medium, gateway, or filter for certain energies. A Center describes your "Center of Gravity," or how your particular Personality has learned to function, be balanced, and navigate through a lifetime. The correlations between Centers and Chakras and the Overleaves can get confusing for some students, but there is a consistent correlation that we will not have to get into today. As the soul ages, the emphasis over the lifetimes moves from Doing to Being. This is not an easy experience to have while in a Young-Mature World. What tends to happen for the older soul in this paradigm is an internal conflict between that Being and Doing. The internal conflict is a begrudging attitude toward the demands of DOING, while walling up, protecting, and nurturing a rather fragile and unstable sense of BEING. [Brian_W] Michael, could you briefly describe your definitions for "Being" and "Doing" to ensure we are all on the same page? Michael: Yes, we will define BEING as a state of self-acceptance, and DOING as the action that manifests/represents BEING. For many of you, there can often be a disconnect between those two qualities so that you are DOING and BEING in very separate or managed dimensions. There are four Qualities of State that every fragment must exist within while on any Plane: DOING, BEING, HAVING, and KNOWING. These correspond to the Axes. Though the focus here is between Being and Doing, we will bring Having and Knowing into the equations that we may share for insight. Before the Old Soul cycles off, it will have found a way to bring resolution to the division between Doing and Being, regardless of any environment, imprinting, society, etc. That resolution can only come from the Integrity that develops between Doing and Being. When that resolution comes, there is very little difference between Doing and Being. The first step, then, is developing the Integrity, which is simply another word for developing Honesty, or bringing in The Truth as the bridge between those two states. Two additional developments MUST be brought into the equation for bridging two Qualities of State at some point: LOVE, and BEAUTY/Energy. In other words, every Quality of State will eventually find union/bridging through Truth, Love, and Energy. And put another way: it is only through the development of Truth, Love, Energy that one can bring Integrity, Pleasure, and Harmony to what one IS, what one HAS, what one DOES, and what one KNOWS. Until there is conscious development of those building blocks of your universe, applied to the building blocks of YOU, those Qualities of State are usually imbalanced, with one or two over-emphasized while one or more neglected. Though each building block is always in effect, it will almost always be through TRUTH that one gets started. In this case of Doing VS Being, then, the first step would be in assessing with as much honesty as possible just how closely those two states are in your life. Is what you DO representative of what you ARE? Is what you ARE nurtured by what you DO? For most of our students, we would say that approximately 25% of the life that is ACTION/DOING actually represents BEING, and that the sense of BEING is starving, so to speak, because the DOING is not nurturing/feeding BEING. This does NOT mean that because you work in a factory and are an Old Soul, then you are not representing your Old Soulness, or that your interest in the latest fashion does nothing for your Old Soulness. This does NOT mean that because you meditate every morning, do yoga at night, and smile pleasantly with pretty thoughts all day that you are honestly representing your Old Soulness, either. So the key here is not in WHAT you Do, but HOW and WHY you Do. The WHAT of your Doing is inherent in the Doing, but the HOW and WHY is the color and meaning of the What. We realize we are throwing out various familiar terms in correspondences that may be confusing, so we will share that now, so you can copy it, and refer to it as we continue: BEING = Inspirational Axis = Emotional Centering = WHO DOING = Action Axis = Moving Center = WHAT HAVING = Expression Axis = Intellectual Center = HOW KNOWING = Assimilative = Neutral/Instinctive Center = WHY One does not have to be DOING the obvious or the cliche as a means to represent BEING, or to have Integrity between the two. The key is in the Honesty between the Being and Doing, which means how much of YOU is there in what you DO. Because YOU are a spectrum, or because your Being is a spectrum, "YOU" will always be in what you DO, so the question must be even more specific: how much of the True You, True Personality, is in what you DO. Here is where things get interesting. Because YOU are in everything you DO, and because the universe is built from Truth, Love, Energy, it is impossible for your Actions to betray your Being. This is not to say that your Actions represent your True Being, but that they ALWAYS represent your Being. In some way. Everything you DO is to serve BEING. This means that even the most begrudging, routine, tedious, and terrifying tasks that you take on are somehow representing some part of your Being. So the process of bringing Integrity to bridge your Being and Doing is the process of examining exactly how what you are DOING NOW represents you now, so that you know just how far you have to go in bringing resolution. The way to do this is to ask yourself: HOW and WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO? This question can be contextualized so that you ask this in the various contexts of your life. HOW do I do my job? WHY do I do my job? HOW do I manage this relationship? WHY am I in this relationship? Or to keep the wording consistent: HOW do I do this relationship? Why do I do this relationship? This questioning can extend into areas that seem to lack Doing, as well: HOW do I NOT do a relationship? WHY do I NOT do a relationship? Asking the HOW and the WHY of your DOING gives you feedback as to where you are with yourself, and thus gives you some indication as to your current sense of BEING. To start this line of questioning, we would suggest looking at the most problematic and the most pleasant ends of your life. Before we move on, we will open the floor to discussion about what we have shared so far, starting with a question to each of you about how his line of questioning might work for you. There is no need for a queue. *****FLOOR OPEN****** [Geraldine] I'm in a fairly content and balanced state right now -- my doing is in balance with my being to a large extent -- I was much more chaotic when younger. I feel that I'm comfortable in my Old Soul late years post-5th IM. Michael: GERALDINE- we would agree with your assessment. The areas where your Doing and Being remain incongruent are specific to when your Doing is Reactionary, rather than Responsive. One way of understanding DOING as a spectrum can be through polarities of RESPONSE/ACTION vs IRRESPONSIBLE/REACTION. [Brian_W] Michael, I wanted to ask questions on how do I study for my important exam, how do I get into a relationship with a young woman that has recently caught my attention, why am I too generous with time and money, but I think the root of it comes down to: "Why don't I have sustained self-confidence in myself and my abilities?" [Brian_W] Instead of asking "how can I piece my family back together," perhaps I should be asking "why do I feel it is my personal responsibility to piece my family back together, when it seems the others only want to fight" Michael: BRIAN - asking the specific questions of DOING when asking your question will help bring some clarity. For instance: "HOW do I help heal my family?" and "WHY do I help heal my family?" This would help reveal insights that can help you then to make decisions reflective of your True Being. [Brian_W] and for my upcoming exam? Michael: Start with the question that might reveal the most insight. In this, it might be the WHY. [Brian_W] why do I procrastinate and allow myself to become distracted... Michael: Brian, we will suggest the means for your own lines of questioning, using an example, but it would be your responsibility to continue that questioning into other areas. If our example is not clear, we will help to clarify, but we cannot and will not do the extended work, of course. [Brian_W] ok [Diane_H] Brian, the bigger question might be: "why are you taking this class?" Michael: Asking yourself "HOW do I study for an upcoming exam?" and "WHY do I study for an upcoming exam?" can shed light on the Integrity there may be, not be, between your Doing and Being. And then you would recalibrate your choices and actions from there. Your first line of questioning would be in the questioning of the HOW and WHY of NOW. [Brian_W] Diane, that one I believe at least began with what Michael has referred to as "the search," and I will have to ask for later clarification on that, as it is true, but I often feel like I'm trying to search for an unknown object in the dark. I know it exists, but nothing else of it Michael: BACK TO BRIAN - the rest of your questions can be addressed in the same way: HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman? WHY do I get into a relationship with a woman? Both being asked in the context of NOW. [Brian_W] Could you explain what you mean by "the context of NOW?" Michael: This would reveal your motivations and your methods, so that you may then alter them to be more reflective of your True Being. "The context of NOW" would be literal. NOW. [Brian_W] oh, okay Michael: In the case of your seeking a relationship to a woman that you do not already have a relationship with, you would be asking of your NOW in the sense of your what your experiences have been up to NOW. HOW do I get into a relationship with a woman is asked not as an instructional question, but as an assessment. As in: how have I got into relationships, up to now? Why have I got into relationships, up to now? Or to keep the wording consistent: how do I get into relationships, up to now? etc. HOW and WHY do I get into relationships? [Brian_W] the HOW is a very good question, the WHY, ... thankfully the answer to that is starting to shift Michael: Let this first line of questioning be revealing and insightful before the more instructional questioning. [Brian_W] ok, thank you Michael Michael: In your case, it might be that the HOW and the WHY might be answered as "HOW I do relationships is eagerly," and "WHY I do relationships is because I want to feel special, loved, and important." Of course, you may have your own responses, but if these were your responses, then you would want to ask if those are honestly reflective of your BEING. The honesty here is VITAL. We cannot emphasize this enough. [Brian_W] Does it all tie back into my self-dep and self-confidence issues? It seems to be the one thing that I am hearing almost screaming into my ears on this one Michael: And by honesty here, we mean that if the answer is YES to the question, then that is not a bad or wrong answer, even if you wish it were not true. If the answer is "YES, I own the fact that my Being right now is eager to be loved, wanted, special, and important to someone, anyone," then that is far more Integrity than the denying of that. And this is key. For every one of you. By HONEST, by INTEGRITY, we do not mean wishful thinking, or idealizing your responses. In this case for you, Brian, if the honest answer were yes to the question of integrity, then you have brought yourself to a state of self-acceptance that transforms your BEING toward a wholeness that would never come from your denying your current state of being. That Integrity then carries forth into your Doing, and the very act of your accepting those current qualities in the self helps to alleviate your emphasis on someone else having to do that work of accepting you, because you now have the foundation. We think we have responded enough to help bring some insight to the questions you may ask of yourself, and will move on to respond to others. [Brian_W] thank you [Diane_H] I ask myself "why" all the time about the big picture stuff (like why do I want to have a healing practice), but when I look at it, there are many smaller things I do in fear mode. And the "how" of what I'm doing seems to be more confused than anything else. I waver between expressing and hiding. Michael: DIANE - we would say that the fearful undertones to some of your actions within your fulfilling more of your Being are because of some of the lesser-beautiful motivations that you have not fully embraced. And this goes back to what we just shared with Brian: that your answers do not have to be beautiful, noble, or glamorous; they need only be honest. "WHY do I have a healing practice" might actually include the response, "because I am more important than I was led to believe I am, and I want to share that importance in a way that proves it." We SUGGEST our responses to prompt your own, but we are not doing the work for any of you. We say this so that you do not presume we are reading something concrete to you. These are merely suggestions; relevant, but not conclusive. [Diane_H] Wow, ok [Diane_H] I was thinking of embracing the fact that I want to be self-sufficient, ie. make money doing it. Michael: What happens when one does not include the lesser-beautiful aspects of honesty is that those remain like cracks in the foundation of our fulfillments. They will constantly need tending, covering, repair, and monitoring, and this can be exhausting. [Diane_H] I hear ya Michael: Yes, Diane, and the lesser-beautiful parts of your honesty in the WHY can help in securing the HOW. For instance, if one wants to use one's healing skills as a means of self-sufficiency, but one has not embraced the lesser-beautiful motivations behind the intention, then that degree of instability is built into the foundation of fulfillment. So the foundation of fulfillment, or the DOING, will be reflective of the BEING AS IT IS. [Diane_H] Way to poke holes in my Arrogance, I like it. Michael: Keep in mind that the lesser-beautiful is alongside the beautiful. To embrace either to the exclusion of the other would be to build upon shaky foundations. So to return to DIANE specifically, it is not that your only motivation is of lesser-beauty, but that it is fair and honest to own every part of your motivation. [Diane_H] So is it accurate to say that whatever we'd like to do, accepting our "higher" or "lower" intentions is the key to fulfillment, and doing it regardless of what imprinting, society, outside forces say otherwise? Michael: Diane, you have just described the difference between True Peace, and True Defense. If your life is motivated by "in spite of," or "despite," or "regardless of," etc, then your motivation is laced with defense. However, the key to the peace is in allowing that, letting that simply be a part of the equation, not something to rise above and escape or make up for. [Diane_H] Ah, ok Michael: TO ALL OF YOU: In short, NO PERSONALITY or ESSENCE has completely noble reasons for what to DO. EVER. [AnnH] lol!! [Diane_H] :) [Martha3] for sure! [Brian_W] hehe, ah, blind idealism for the fail [AnnH] (this realist has always suspected that) [Martha3] I know that is true for me [Geraldine] Well, I know we have "what's in it for me" beneath everything -- didn't realize Essence was similar :) Michael: By "noble," we mean that there is no such thing as selflessness, sacrifice, or any other of the positive poles of the Chief Features, which are held as indicators that one is somehow "higher" in intentions. We can say this because, as we have said in many instances regarding the nature of "higher" and "positive," that the higher or more positive the pole or intention, the greater its capacity for including the lower and negative. [Diane_H] Interesting Michael: The lower or more negative, the more investment in exclusive, conclusive, and/or elusive. Higher is a sphere, where as Lower is a bowl. [Martha3] I like that, good image for understanding Michael: If you can see positive/higher, and lower/negative in those terms, it can help you to see how the movement through life is either a constant emphasis on the fear not to spill what one has put in the bowl, or the confidence in the embrace of whatever is collected and homogenized in the sphere. [Geraldine] Life is a blender [Maureen] :) [Maureen] ribitt [AnnH] This is ringing a lot of bells! [Martha3] yep Michael: Even the Transcendental and Infinite in your history found their way toward representing their Entity or Tao by embracing the totality of their Being and Doing, and building upon that, not in spite of, because of, regardless of, or despite. The one who is referred to as Buddha built upon his ignorance and naivety, his sheltered and privileged life, using it as a means of contrast and choice, rather than as a showcase for shame and guilt as fuel. So, Diane, if you look to the darker motivations of your intent for providing healing, you would find more room for light in your progress, if you will. [Diane_H] Got it, thank you. Michael: This would resolve your divide between expressing and hiding, because you will not have shame or pride to hide. [AnnH] I am content with my finances and security. My intent is to finish my novel this year, but where I have conflict is WHY I do do (I think). I'm conflicted between doing because I choose to and for my job. Being judged. Also problems with the HOW. (I am also content with how I'm approaching losing weight) Michael: ANN - we think that you have gained insight from the responses to others, but we can say some things to you directly regarding your comments. First, the HOW of your writing your novel is not a mystery: you simply must DO it. It is the WHY that holds you back. Asking the question of WHY in the Now, even if speculative, is insightful. "WHY do I write this novel?" may help you to not only focus the content of the novel, but give you satisfaction in the fulfillment. This WHY has many answers, and it is from those answers that you can either stand them all together, or choose one that feels the most motivating. Your WHY has answers that we can suggest as: "Because I can." or "Because I want to." or "Because it would be the most personal and meaningful representation of my doing something that is entirely for and from myself." We think there is insight in the last suggestion. [AnnH] yes Michael: For the most part, many of your WHYs of life have been answers like "because I have to," or "because I need to," or "because I'm expected to," or "just because," or any other number of responses that leave your part of the equation as the most passive part. Writing your novel would be the single, most representative DOING that reflects everything about your BEING that you know is true of you, and the most proactive, active part of an equation you may ever have felt. The fears that undermine your actions are related to the fears of what you may find out about yourself in the process, but those fears are natural and only seeking to protect you from activating an equation that contradicts every other equation that has worked "just fine" for you. [AnnH] When I read that I keep thinking, ah, finally, then I'll be left alone Michael: Ann, that is insightful: it means that part of your Integrity would include the honesty that you are motivated, in part, by the craving to escape the confines of routine and authority that does not support your Being. Or rather, your sense of True Being. Of course, it DOES already support your Being, but only a part of it. For you, Ann, you are the only reason you would not finish your novel, and you are the only reason it will be finished. This is a terrifying process of owning your life in a way that means it is ALL UP TO YOU. And however resentful of your routines you may have come to be, they reflect the part of your Being that does not mind others being available for blame and cause. [AnnH] ouch, yes Michael: Owning that, first, is the acceptance of that darker part of the Being that is there, so that you can get on with the business of being more than that. [Bobbbi3] Much of what I enjoy DOING for myself might appear to be escapist to some. And DOING for others is still rewarding after all these years. [Bobbbi3] Rephrasing: Why do I find so much pleasure in escapism (sleep, dvd's, tv, novels) and also in DOING for others? Michael: BOBBI - you have worked hard to embrace the darker aspects of your motivations and your Being over time, and the very same things that worked to fulfill your need for escapism are now the very things that fulfill your more adventurous, exploratory, and curious self that was always there. [Bobbbi3] How so? Michael: You moved through a state of honesty with the self that has brought integrity to your choices, so that now, for the most part, if you choose these "escapist" activities or non-activities, you choose them because you want to, not because you need to. [Bobbbi3] They seem to bring True Peace. Michael: There is a fine line between ESCAPISM and TRUE REST, or Healing. [Bobbbi3] And much joy! [Bobbbi3] Thank you so much! [Bobbbi3] And I have retired, after all... Michael: The only reason they were seen as "escape" in the past is because you had the impression that you should be making up for the time and space you use up by being alive, so any time time not dedicated to that was seen as guilty escape from the responsibility of proving your value to the world. [Bobbbi3] much imprinting/conditioning Michael: There came a revelation at one point, and one that is still being embraced, that you HAVE A RIGHT to BE, just as much as any other, and that there are no conditions or standards against which any person needs to prove himself or herself in order to enjoy that right. [Bobbbi3] I finally got that from your teachings! [Bobbbi3] Knowing I have a place in an entity in a cadre...I AM! Michael: The same could be said for your DOING for others. In the past, this may have been motivated by your need to make up for your being alive at all, but now it is because it just feels good. It is okay to care enough for others because you want to, not because you need to, and this has translated into even greater care for yourself along the way. [Bobbbi3] Many thanks. Michael: You have a place wherever you are, regardless of any non-physical, intangible place beyond this life. You belong where you are, because you are there. You belong where you wish to be or go, because you want to or need to. There is never a context in which one does not belong, if one is there. BELONG does not translate into SUPPOSED TO BE, however. [Bobbbi3] I see. Michael: For example, to say that a child in an abusive household belongs there does not mean he is supposed to be there. It simply means that, wherever one is, one IS. You are never alone, because YOU are there, and you belong to you before any other context, which translates into the RIGHT TO BE. There is a reason our universe is so fragmented from TAO all the way down to the various sub-personalities of Personality, and of Personalities to Essence, and Essences to Entity to Cadre to Energy Ring, etc. Because there is never a dimension beyond Tao wherein one is alone. The most-isolated fragment on the planet still has "himself," whether that be a sense of division within the self, or a sense of self and Essence. The craving for wholeness comes from that vast fragmentation, and the embrace of your dimensions, or fragments, is the process. The process of return to TAO. [Bobbbi3] Alone is the worst feeling. Michael: Alone is a natural feeling. Loneliness, however, is a distortion of Aloneness. Aloneness is a part of every fragment's evolution, however, loneliness is not necessary. To return to our simplified imagery, Aloneness is the sphere; Loneliness is the Bowl. [Bobbbi3] Right! Michael: No fragment can get to know himself without Aloneness. Aloneness is the opportunity to like yourself, care for yourself, be yourself, etc. Loneliness is the rejection of that opportunity. [Bobbbi3] I really do see that. [Bobbbi3] Now. [Bobbbi3] 8) [Martha3] My intent is to finish my screenplay, with the goal of being able to leave my corporate job, and I am concentrating on being myself as much as is feasible in a corp setting. Problem areas are in getting my teenager to handle her responsibilities without having to fight over it. She wears me out Michael: MARTHA - your comments prompt us to remind you that your intentions are greatly motivated by a fantasy solution to many problems. [Martha3] :) Michael: The fact that you know this is Good Work. [Martha3] Prince Charming isn't coming with a winning lottery ticket? Michael: What you do with what you know is important, however, so it is helpful for you to occasionally check yourself in terms of how much pressure you are putting on your creative efforts to be your "ticket out." Knowing that this is part of your motivation is healthy, but to forget that you are also doing this because it is simply what you love to do may undermine your energy and efforts. [Martha3] good point Michael: The same could be said for nearly every other demand upon your energy: you do most of it because you love. That is not the same thing as "love to do it," but because you LOVE. Your exasperating and exhausting time with your child is fair to describe as something you do not love to do, but that you do because you love. [Martha3] yes Michael: This is one of those finer examples of the lesser-beautiful and beautiful being embraced, rather than one or the other defining the DOING. Your BEING is reflected in your DOING, and the WHY of your Doing is because you LOVE, or try to love. This is often forgotten. [Martha3] not sure I completely understand what you are saying Michael: Though we see you have moments of sudden, emotional clarity that bring tears to how much you do love the ingredients of your life, even as you work hard to move them into higher ideals. As we said for each of you, your DOING either REFLECTS YOUR BEING, or your BEING is manifested in your DOING. As one grows in consciousness, the Doing moves from reflection of a part of your Being, and into manifestation of your True Being. So when we said that your Being is reflected in your Doing, we mean to point out that what you do is reflecting your Love, and knowing this is important to your then moving toward wholeness. That wholeness would be the acceptance that what you do (that you do not want to do) is reflecting your capacity to love, so that when you then do what you love, such as your screenwriting, you are fully present, instead of thinking it is only to escape what you (think you) do not want to do. [Martha3] I understand [Maureen] I think I'm 'kinda' where Geraldine is at - sort of - I have some days that are better than others - but generally I am so much better than I used to be at Doing and Being that it is hard to know what I could specifically be changed. Michael: MAUREEN, we would agree with your assessment. One of the last areas for you to let into the wholeness is the tendency toward self-consciousness, or self-monitoring. Sometimes this takes you away from the experiential and into a kind of autopiloting. A heightened awareness without a complete connection to the vehicle, much like driving from point A to point BE, but not remembering the trip. That was a typo, and not a clever pun on our part, by the way, but it works. [Maureen] :) Michael: But this is minimal, Maureen, and we mention it only for the sake of suggestion. [Maureen1] How do I move away from 'auto-pilot'? Michael: MAUREEN, by embracing it. There is no other way. By this we mean that you first know that it is happening when it is happening, and then decide from there whether it is something necessary for concern. Using the analogy of driving from point a to point b, was it really necessary to see the view along the way? Did you arrive safely? Did you tend to anything along the way that was important, such as avoiding a crash or taking the correct turns? Realizing when you are on auto-pilot is one thing, but then you can decide whether it is necessary to be present, or if it is okay to tune out to other dimensions along the way. It is not the autopilot that is the dividing factor, but the self-consciousness that might come from it. The self-consciousness can move to self-awareness when the conscious decision as to whether you want or need to be present is then made. Sometimes your presence is important and you will not want to afford a self-consciousness, and other times your presence can be fragmented into various tasks. Letting that become your choice is the step toward wholeness. [Geraldine] Inserting this for AFTER Maureen. First, I do not see a question posted by Nicholas aka baby-love. And, then as a final question, I would like to ask on behalf of Troy if there is anything you might offer him in terms of his doing versus being with regards to his underlying issues that might be causing his scheduling problems. Any comments that might help him with his intention to get on track and stay on track. Michael: GERALDINE, we think an entire session is in store for dedication to Troy's questions, and questions for Troy, so he will schedule this with you where we can then focus on the issues of interest. [Geraldine] Thank you Michael: Before we move on, what would Nicholas like to say? [baby-love] I am fairly content w/ the areas of my life right now in terms of BEING and DOING...as I am moving through my 4IM, I find that I am re-discovering my BEING and what DOINGS support my new clarity [baby-love] My intention this year is to move to San Diego...the WHY of it, is to be nearer to my ET, Viktor and the ocean:-) [baby-love] I guess I don't have a question other than what tools do you suggest can help me to continue lessening the gap between my BEING and DOING? Michael: NICHOLAS, the WHY of your intention also includes "because I deserve this." The concept of DESERVE is important here because this is another example of RIGHTS. [baby-love] and I want it! "I have a right to live wherever, with whomever, and however I choose and want." Michael: This is because so much of your life, up to the point of your dive into the 4th Internal Monad, was spent guided by SHOULDS, and now you are guided by COULDS. [baby-love] yes, indeed! [Brian_W] so its okay to admit selfishness and wanting something, as long as we keep in mind that getting it is another story? Michael: BRIAN, it is always "okay" to admit to selfishness, but we point out that while there is never an act that purely selfless, it is not always selfish. Selfish and lack of Selflessness are not the same thing. Selfish, in this context, would be a state that might include "regardless of; in spite of; despite;" etc, whereas lack of selflessness simply means that it is okay to admit that it makes you feel good, that you want it, that you gain by doing it, etc. It is "okay" to admit all of that. Admitting that your most selfless of acts actually feel good and that is why you do it, or admitting that you are partially-motivated by a kind of defiance, are all Good Work. Often, there may even be a mix. TO CONTINUE ON. And to work toward concluding our time with you: As you can see, each of you would do well to examine whether you are inclusive of both the darker and lighter, less-beautiful and beautiful, of your intentions. Some of you have emphasized the beautiful and have dismissed or did not realize the value in embracing the less-beautiful. Some of you have emphasized the less-beautiful and did not think you had a right to include the more beautiful, or the lightness of your intentions. So keeping an eye to your intentions in terms of the whole of their motivations can help you to free up energy for fulfillment of those intentions. In terms of CENTERING, your habitual Centering and PART of CENTER can give you clues as to why you have your intentions in the first place: Every Center corresponds to a BASIC RIGHT of PERSONALITY and ESSENCE. The three Lower Centers tend to be of those that an individual will develop habitual uses. Even when one uses a Higher Center, it can never be the habitual Center. The Higher Centers are not designed to be Centers of Gravity for the functions of the body and personality, but only to be *experienced* by the body and personality. Tears, Pleasure, and Laughter are physical manifestations of the Higher Centers. Imagine life lived in tears, pure pleasure, and constant laughter. In theory, this sounds delightful; in reality, that person is "crazy." Therefore, we will point to the Lower Centers as a helpful insight into your motivations. Your PRIMARY CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most-easily SUSTAIN, which means that even without effort, you work to sustain that Right. Your PART of CENTERING describes the RIGHT that you most seek to fight for, to defend, to clarify, and this usually takes effort, or is often challenged. The Center that is least-used is one that you NEED the most, as in, you often forget that this is a Right that is missing in your life, needs attention, etc. EMOTIONAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to LOVE and BE LOVED. INTELLECTUAL CENTERING = your RIGHT to SPEAK or HEAR the TRUTH. MOVING CENTERING = your RIGHT to CHOOSE, or your RIGHT to BE FREE, to take action, or do what you want to do. Looking to your own Centering then can lend insight into your motivations, consciously or subconsciously. For instance, one who is Emotionally-Centered, Intellectual Part, might be one who naturally Loves, finds it easy to love, and accepts that she is motivated by desires to love and be loved. It is a given that this is an important part of life, a Right. The Intellectual Part would indicate that this fragment may find herself in positions where speaking up, saying the truth, sharing the truth, her truth, or being honest, is often challenged, an "issue," a Right that must often be stood up for. It would also indicate that this is an area of necessary refinement so that her truth can be heard, and not just something shouted into the world, or imposed, in contrast to some whose are hidden and unspoken. What this fragment, then, might find as a missing key, or a Right that is not practiced, and often forgotten, is the Right to Choose, to Do, to take Action, to be Free. Looking to the PART can give insight into your motivations, and looking to the neglected Centering can give insights into what key might be brought into the equation for fulfillment of your intentions. For instance, this person would forget that her secret resource is in her DOING at all. That she must DO what she wants to do, in order to practice her Right to Freedom, instead of getting caught up in the battle for only protecting her Right to Speak/Hear The Truth. Do each of you understand and find relevance to your Centering? [Maureen1] Yes :) [AnnH] Yessir. Michael: Keep in mind that these are indications of your habits, not something static, and these may change over time, or in certain contexts. [Geraldine] Yes (but I'm Emotional/Intellectual; so I got a bigger explanation) [Diane_H] yep [Bobbbi3] yes [baby-love] yep, absolutely! [Geraldine] Martha is away for a moment Michael: To conclude our little group tonight, we will synopsize: ONE) clarify your intentions TWO) own the whole of your motivations for those intentions, including the darker elements that may not seem fair or "good." They are important parts that, if ignored, may be your undoing. THREE) What you do ALWAYS reflects at least a part of your BEING, but when you choose what to do, you manifest your True Being. FOUR) Understanding the WHY and HOW of your doing can lend insight into the wholeness of your motivations, and then you can embrace that, or alter it. FIVE) Your habitual Centering, Part of Centering, and neglected Centering (or an easier terminology would be your Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Centering) give great insight, not only into your Intentions, but into your basic motivations for every action. SIX) your Being and Doing do not have to be exclusive Quality of States, but brought into harmony to widen your playground of life. And, eventually, they will be. We know there is much more we could discuss in the context of this topic, but we think this is plenty of food for thought, or for doing, and this is a start. Good evening to each of you. We will conclude here. Goodbye.
Michael Speaks Live Topic: “The Colony of You” November 29, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley 12:17:05 PM MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to speak of the micro versions of you that make up what you consider to be "you." There is not a single form of consciousness, in a body, or outside of a body, that is not "made up" of smaller parts, if you will. There is no "beginning" or "end" to this that we can see. We know there must be, but we have not found it, nor have we seen it. There is a kind of fractal beauty in this structure of existence, and "we" are one part of that. By extension, there is not a single one of you who are not part of something larger in context. This subject is far too vast to cover in one sitting, but a valid teaching will always strive to help one to understand the whole that is greater than the sum of the parts, while helping to understand those parts. Today we will speak only of that which makes up your existence unique to being extant. However, your Essence is also a complex structure that is built from parts. It is not merely a sphere that moves from one body to the next. It is an ever-evolving geometry that grows in complexity and beauty as experiences are gained. The same is true of "you" as a Personality and body. Understanding the dynamics of the parts that are you may not change a lot in terms of how you live, but understanding those parts can help you to feel a wholeness, an embrace, a sense of dynamic aliveness that is not simply about getting through the day. You are a complex and beautiful ecosystem of existence. How you feel about those parts makes a difference in how those parts function together as you. The health of one's body is definitely affected by material input, such as healthy or damaging diet, exercise or strain, psychological balance or stress, etc., but it is also affected by "everything" that is you, including your thoughts and feelings. WELLNESS is always directly affected by all of you and how you feel about you. ILLNESS is often a byproduct of you and how you feel about you, but not always. Illness, like any other form of scathing, can come simply because you crossed paths with it. It is simply a part of the obstacles of the Physical Plane. So while illness can be linked directly to one's choices, and intellectual and emotional processes, it is not always the case. You can get sick just because bodies can get sick. We differentiate WELLNESS from ILLNESS here because you can control your Wellness, but not always your Illness. There are many who are Ill, but uphold their Wellness. Wellness is the cohesion of the parts that make up the greater sum that is you. There are many who discover illness and there is no reversing this, leading to death, but this does not mean wellness was missing. Illness does not mean one has done something wrong, and health does not mean one is doing something right. So, the first thing we would suggest for all of our students is to focus on WELLNESS. The wholeness of you, the cohesion and inclusion of all that is you, including illness, forgetting, depression, craving, loving, hating, frustration, joy, etc., ALL of it is you. The more this truth is understood, the more one's wellness increases so that choices can be made that better serve wellness. For example, you may be frustrated and angry, but that is not ALL THAT YOU ARE. But accepting that you are frustrated and angry frees you to include the options for effectiveness and creativity. Being frustrated and angry is not the same thing as being permanently ineffective and incapable of creative problem solving. Focus on your Wellness, your greatest state of inclusion, and this is Love. This helps every part of your Being, both in terms that are limited to biology and being extant, and in terms of existence as consciousness. To return to the more specific discussion of "you" as a collection of parts, we will start with how your body is built in ways that reflect the awesome structure of the universe. Each of you as bodies can be said to be a complex organism that is built from 7 tiers that range from the simple to the wholeness that is complexity. "YOU" exist as YOU because of a vast collection of parts that work together to allow for your existence as consciousness in the media of matter. No matter what your beliefs, your ideologies, your position, your state of mind, your condition, your choices, you cannot escape that you are built from from these 7 tiers: ATOMS, MOLECULES, CELLS, TISSUES, ORGANS, SYSTEMS, and finally, the whole that is the ORGANISM. On the most basic of these tiers, it is the SERVER TIER, the Atoms. In the same way that existence could not be sustained as a Design without Servers, neither could existence in material form. Atoms are not Servers, of course, but this layer of existence in form correlates to the entire concept of Servers. The Artisan Tier is how those Atoms come together. The multitude of combinations of Atoms that become Molecules is the Artisan tier of existence in form. Molecules form into Cells that become the most basic functions and protections of an Organism. This is the Warrior tier of existence in Form. Cells create cohesive networks of Tissue that reflects the Scholar tier of existence in form. Without the vast variations of arrangements that can come from Tissue, there would not be Organs, which run the communication and dissemination systems of the Organism: the Sage tier. Organ Systems are the sympathetic and empathetic combinations of Organs working together for the benefit of the whole, or large parts of the whole. This is the Priest tier. And the wholeness that comes to be the entirety, the wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts, is the King tier. This is where consciousness comes in, and allows for some form of choice to make a difference over all other tiers, either passively or actively. This is the Organism. We wish to clarify here that your own Role or Casting does not give some hidden clue to which tier you relate to the most, or control the most in your body. The tiers we describe are correlations, but nothing more. These tiers are a reflection of the awesome order of the universe, and how it functions from the greatest contexts to the most minute. Before we continue, we will open the floor here for questions or comments on what has been shared so far. AnnaElisa: Hello, Michael! Autoimmune diseases, in which the body attacks its own organs/parts, are becoming more and more common. What makes the body attack itself and, apart from eating right and trying to live as healthy as possible in order to keep the antibodies down, what message do autoimmune disorders carry, if any, to us as individuals and as a community, and how can one learn to live with them or confront them on a deeper level? Thanks! MEntity: Nearly all autoimmune diseases are a result of chronic self-esteem issues. In the same way that the psyche of the individual will "attack" itself in constant destructive criticism, dislike, disgust, and loathing of the self, repulsion of the self, anger at not being like an ideal, eventually take a toll. AnnH: Funny how that happens. MEntity: The programming of the various lower tiers begins to follow the commands of the greater tier. For those who accepted any imprinting of self-loathing from media, caretakers, peers, or even as part of the social contract of false humility, autoimmune issues can develop. Currently, the most prevalent Chief Features among humanity's members are Arrogance and Self-deprecation, the two Chief Features most directly linked to self-esteem. Even if one does not have these Chief Features, the paradigm almost insists that you comply as a part of the social contract of protecting one's vulnerability and never allowing for incompetence or failure. You must hide who you are in some way, and only display your successes. LadTheHun: Facebook! MEntity: This has been in effect for a long time because of the Young Soul paradigm, but this is shifting. The move toward Martyrdom and Impatience will bring a different wave of ailments. TyroneT: How much does Michael have insight on the physical plane bodies and organisms and how consciousness interact with them? TyroneT: As in, what's the limit to their knowledge? TyroneT: (or what can be channeled) TyroneT: In future sessions, I'd like to delve deeply into the mechanisms of how consciousness interacts with our organic matter, but I don't know how detailed Troy can get. TyroneT: If it has to do with his working knowledge and it's possible to extend or help this, I'd like to know how (i.e. can maybe a working group's akashic knowledge help with that? or a scholar's intentional global akashic uploading) MEntity: Troy has no considerable limits in that regard. His limitations would come in the form of terminology that may relate to the medical field, or in terminology that could describe something more succinctly than a long, roundabout description. Sometimes we have to describe what could otherwise have been summed up in one term, if the limitation were not present. A simplistic example might be if we wished to convey the term "fuel" in regard to a discussion about automobiles, but had to use "the liquid that runs through the system that helps the engine move the wheels." Beyond this, we would have to say, we do not know what our limits are, or what Troy's limits are, until the questions have been asked. If one is willing to work around any discovered limitations, then they can almost always be worked around in some way. GeraldineB: I'm just making sure by requesting further explanation during this session for all of the colonies of various viruses and bacteria which inhabit our bodies and act in both what we deem to be beneficial or non-beneficial ways. So, this isn't really a Q -- just a request. MEntity: Yes, we will move into that area next. To continue... In terms of your complex colonial organism that is "you," there is a universe of existence within you that is just as much "you" as any of the tiers. While the condition and state of each tier can make a great difference in one's experience of the body, and affect how you make choices, it is on the microbial level that the effects move into the whole that is the Personality and its behaviors. We will include viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites in this. Viruses represent a kind of dimension of you that deals with the reprogramming of cells, most often in destructive ways. Though a virus can be harnessed for benefit, the virus tends to be detrimental in effect. Viruses correlate to the Inspirational Axis and tend to reflect any imbalances that one is addressing related to Inspiration and Emotion. The "common cold" is a direct and readily available example of this, in that when one does not process grief, sadness, disappointment, etc., it can show up as a "cold." The reason we correlate Viruses to the Inspirational Axis is because they often function similar to how Priests and Servers must function as a means to help one to deal with issues that have been resisted, either in personal terms or even social terms. So the concept of Viruses is reflected in greater contexts, as well, such as religion being a social virus. Bacteria would relate to the Action Axis, functioning in both effective beneficial ways and in destructive ways, all in ways that are reflected by the poles of the Roles on that Axis. Bacteria can be tyrannical and coercive, or help lead wellness and persuade beneficial choices. Of the various microbes, bacteria are the most directly relevant in terms of how the Personality functions as a baseline. The healthier one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated an individual. The more imbalanced one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more agitation, anxiousness, depression, and addictiveness. Bacteria are reflected in society in terms of how groups work together or against one another in their attempts to control, influence, and bring change. Fungi would be the Expressive of the microbes, producing spores that continue to propagate and disseminate. As with Expression Axis, this can come in the form of propagation and dissemination for the sake of itself, or for the benefit of all involved. Parasites would fall into the Assimilation Axis as this can be an umbrella term to include any of the other categories. The parasitic nature of all microbes allows for their sustained existence, "for better or worse" for the host. This subject cannot be fully explored in one exchange, but what we have shared today can help each of you to consider the dimensions of yourself that exist right here, right now, that carry your consciousness. You are not just what existed before and after this incarnation, but you exist as an entire ecosystem of consciousness in various forms. This microbial world contributes to your navigation in terms of DIET, SOCIAL EXCHANGES, STRESS, and FUNCTIONS OF THE BODY. You exist as a complex organism, that hosts other organisms, and that exists as one part of an even larger complex organism. You are atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, systems, and the entirety of these things as the complex organism. You are not just soul, not just Essence, not just Personality. You will live and die just fine without ever considering these other dimensions of existence as "you," but if you choose to explore these as a means of loving the self, as a means of bring cohesion to the parts that are you, and as a means of increasing your wellness, it is all there for you to consider. We must conclude here for tonight. We can explore this topic in more detail in further exchanges with you. Good night to each of you.
Michael Speaks 121408 [Michael Entity]: Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with responses to questioning from Sandy. [sandy]: I would like to ask about concurrents. Do they have identical overleaves? I assume role, casting and age would be the same, is that correct? [Michael Entity]: We will respond to your question after clarifying a differentiation: We clarify because there are three terms we see being used by our students: "simultaneous," "concurrent," and "parallel." Variations of a single incarnation (branching out into "parallels" of dimensions) are usually what we prefer to call "parallel lives." These share a single starting point. "Concurrent" is used to represent various incarnations of one essence in various dimensions and space, but during the same time frame. Variations of Essence incarnating within a relatively close proximity of time, but in separate starting points, we prefer to refer to as "Concurrents." While "Simultaneous" lives is often used interchangeably. With that clarified, Concurrents most often do have a completely different design of Personality, though, of course the Essence dynamics are the same. There are no rules, of course, and sometimes Concurrents might share the same Overleaves design so as to have a similar approach to different geo-cultural contexts within the Physical Plane during a time period. The main emphasis is geographical. Concurrents RARELY live within any proximity to each other, Physically. [sandy]: rarely but not never? [Michael Entity]: Sandy, some Concurrents have crossed paths, but this has usually been devastating or "mind-blowing." [Geraldine]: How are IMs handled when two or more lives are being experienced concurrently -- what happens when one finishes an IM -- does it affect the others? [Michael Entity]: There are two arcs of Internal Monads: those related to the physical, emotional, intellectual development of the Personality, and those related to the evolution of Essence. The Internal Monads for the various Concurrents' Personalities would be independent, but each Concurrent would contribute to the arc of Internal Monads for Essence. [luluaussi]: are concurrents ever aware of one another? what if one concurrent died? [Michael Entity]: Toni, yes, some of our students have Concurrents, each of which are aware of the others, but rarely do they find a way to validate this or even to cross paths. When a Concurrent dies, the experience for remaining Concurrents is unaffected unless the remaining Concurrents have a specific interest and sensitivity to the exiting of a Concurrent. [luluaussi]: what of dreamspace? [Michael Entity]: Most Concurrents do have intimate awareness of each other in "dreamspace," or what we would call the Astral Plane. This is because it is nearly vital to remain aware of each other's projected paths of choice so as not to cross paths. [sandy]: so does this mean that when two channels say the John Doe of history is now John Smith and another says he is now Sue Brown they can both be correct? [Michael Entity]: Sandy, sometimes Concurrents contribute to the lack of sequential timelines for Past Life explorations, yes. Parallels do the same. [sandy]: I was thinking of Mozart, different channels have given different current incarnations as being that essence. Can they both or all be correct? [Michael Entity]: Sandy, sometimes this is so, but more often this is the projection and inaccuracy of the channel. [sandy]: any way to tell? [Michael Entity]: We know of few species who can track the incarnations of one Essence over multiple lives. This seems to be a built-in system of protection, so to speak, so that one lifetime's activities are never imposed upon another lifetime. [sandy]: Thank you Michael. [Michael Entity]: So we would say this is a matter of personal scrutiny and self-validation based on the value the information might have for you. [luluaussi]: Yes Thank you Michael this has been very helpful to me. [Michael Entity]: In species where current lifetimes of past Essence incarnations can be tracked, there is a spirituality in place that allows for the consistency of memories to also transcend the space between lives. In some, this is simply part of the world, but in others, it had a devastating effect during the Mature Soul cycle. [luluaussi]: and if there is a sensitivity, does the remaining Concurrent pick up where the other left off...from the perspective of that concurrent? [Michael Entity]: Toni, no, each Concurrent has its own life, independent from the others. There is no "picking up" necessary. [luluaussi]: I see. [Michael Entity]: NEXT QUESTION: Kathryn [Kathryn41]: Scholars are said to hold experience energies in their bodies that may manifest as physical ailments or problems. What advice would Michael offer for releasing these types of energies (I suspect I am experiencing these problems right now) [Michael Entity]: Our response would be two-fold: Absorbing, Carrying, Processing experiences for a Scholar is so intrinsic that for a Scholar to ask this is almost the same as someone asking, "Essences are said to have bodies when they incarnate to the Physical Plane; what advice is there for alleviating Essence from having a body?" We point this out because it is a valid reality and substance that a Scholar contends with more than other Essences. In other words, it is not your imagination. Scholars not only absorb, carry, and process their own experiences, the experiences of those within observational proximity, but they share the work of being "drop points" for Entity members they may never even have known existed. Scholars are the equivalent of hubs and routers in many ways for the Entity and Cadre. [Kathryn41]: So, I guess I am asking about how to process more effectively [Michael Entity]: The second part of our response would be more specific to your question and that would be that Scholars would do well to create a ritual that allows for them to "upload" or "clear their cache." This can be done by simply sitting, standing, opening the arms, feet apart a bit, and consciously feeling the "LIFT" of energy being released to Essence. The wider this sense of openness, the more likely the effect will be profound and valid. Close the eyes, open the arms, and imagine the flow of release from all extremities moving to and through and out the Heart "up" to Essence. For most Scholars, the "tingle" will be tangible as the release flows. [Ingun]: Like surrender it to Essence? [Michael Entity]: Yes, Ingun, that is correct. The reason this is a valid practice for Scholars is because the Personality often "holds on to" all of the collected energy until it is UNDERSTOOD. And much of what is collected cannot and will not be processed by the Personality. [Kathryn41]: oh yes [Kathryn41]: any recommendations on how often to perform this 'ritual'? [marion]: would this work for other roles as well? [Michael Entity]: Adding to the physical actions of this release, a simple, ecstatic phrase/mantra during the release might be: "I don't have to understand it all." [Kathryn41]: (oooo - it works! I just tried it!) [Ingun]: Well isn't that a way all of us could use, like when we don't understand or can't cope with something ... just give it over to Essence? [Michael Entity]: Kathryn, we would suggest doing this any time you felt the impulse. Once it is done, one might begin to sense when one starts to "fill up" and needs to clear. [Kathryn41]: thank you Michael. That is a real help [Michael Entity]: Ingun and Marion: yes, we would agree. All fragments could do well to update, upload, and release accumulated experiences to Essence. In fact, this would help alleviate the burden on your fellow Scholars for doing it for you. What we described here is not the same thing as "surrender" when one is within a situation one cannot control. This is simply a clearing practice for releasing that which Personality does not have the capacity for processing or is already ready for uploading to Essence. Keep in mind that while Essence does have the capacity for observing and being a part of the most intimate details of your life, it is rather blind without the Personality's openness and sustaining of consciousness. [Kathryn41]: makes a lot of sense [Michael Entity]: Many fragments wait until Astral review during dreams, or between lives, to update Essence. The practice we described can help with keeping that line open to Essence and relieving the Body from unnecessary weights to process. [Kathryn41]: Thank you again [Michael Entity]: For Scholars, it can be, as we said, "I don't have to UNDERSTAND it all." For the Expression Axis it can be "I don't have to SAY/CREATE it all." For the Action Axis, it can be "I don't have to DEFEND/LEAD everything!" And for the Inspirational Axis it might be "I don't have to TEND/HEAL it all!" Or more simply put: "I don't have to Understand/Express/Do/Be it all!" Speaking this during the simple meditation we offered, and speaking it with realization, not defense, can be profound. NEXT QUESTION: TONI [luluaussi]: If I am understanding correctly, the Unites States has shifted into the Mature Soul paradigm. My question relates to Soul Age shifts....how does one best navigate into a new Soul Age....I have been told that, like the US, I am evolving from one age to the next (Mature to Old in this case) and would like to understand how we can transition in the most effective manner .... and not hide in a cave til we get our land legs.... [Michael Entity]: We know of only one way to navigate from one Soul Age to the next and "get your land legs," so to speak, and that is through experience, and the collection of experience AT YOUR OWN PACE. There is no hurry. The "cave" becomes less and less necessary as experience is accumulated, but there are no short cuts. "The cave" of which you speak is a valid sanctuary for review and processing of experiences so that when one "peeks out" again, there is confidence. [luluaussi]: what I feel is a precipice...to fall or soar and that is creating a sense of vertigo..... [luluaussi]: both inner world and outer as this country transitions too [Michael Entity]: If one feels that one is hiding, then one would want to explore the self-karmic story that might be related to the pressure one feels in that space between "land legs" and "cave." Transiting a Soul AGE, let alone a Level, is inherently an "unknown," or "precipice." [luluaussi]: is it like womb to walking? [luluaussi]: how would one explore "self-karmic" stories ... Sagely speaking [Michael Entity]: In using an evolutionary theme as an analogy, the Womb is more like the Infant Soul Age; Potty Training is Baby Soul Age; Walking is Young; Driving is Mature; Flying is Old. [luluaussi]: so am learning to fly?.... told myself that isn't dream once.... [Michael Entity]: Exploring Self-karmic stories is best done through examining the push/pull of the experience; the polarities, which are usually quite obvious. Often these are found in the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" of an issue. [luluaussi]: I see. [Michael Entity]: "Should/But Don't" or "Shouldn't/But Do" [luluaussi]: OK [Michael Entity]: The resolution is often then found in the BUT part of the equation. [luluaussi]: Wow this is sooooo helpful [Michael Entity]: The BUT is often yours; the SHOULDS are someone else's. [Kathryn41]: ah [Michael Entity]: The resolution comes when you embrace your BUT, which then allows clearer room for your SHOULD/N'T, which can then be acted upon, or released as necessary to your choice. We have been lacking in puns for a while, and believe this will help in bring some levity to this equation. [luluaussi]: guess I really need to examine my response to those SHOULDS and stop letting myself get hogtied with BUT? [Michael Entity]: Your statement would be one we agree with, Toni. NEXT QUESTION: Ingun [Ingun]: Kundalini is a word and topic that is attached with so many “pictures” or labels or beliefs for instance coming from the belief that the body is an illusion. I also understand that the Kundalini is a physical energy and can have different effects depending on which chakra or channels in the body it is running through or one intentionally runs it through. I would like Michael to share some information about the Kundalini energy and clear out some misinformation. [luluaussi]: Cool. Thanks this has been most helpful! [Michael Entity]: That is a rather large topic, but we will respond briefly here, and invite further discussion with this as a specific topic at some point. [Ingun]: Yes, some brief information will do well. [Michael Entity]: What is called "Kundalini" energy is what we would call Higher Moving Energy; this is the energy that flows to, from, and through the Higher Moving Center and what might be called the Second Chakra/Sacral Chakra. While all Higher Centers are accessible to the Body and Personality, the Higher Moving is the most readily accessible, as it is "rooted deeper" in the Body. Emphasizing study and consciousness on this particular Energy is Good Work, but is as susceptible to as many misconceptions and misdirections as any other activity for a group or individual. We would simply say that emphasis on this Energy would do well to be tempered with awareness of the Higher Emotional and Higher Intellectual Centers/Energies as well. This Kundalini Energy is just that: Energy. But Energy has both a positive and a negative pole, which could be described as Beauty and Chaos, respectively. What helps Energy to move toward Beauty are the structures and awareness that are a part of Truth and Love. In other words, our brief response would be that Energy, Truth, and Love are the building blocks of your Universe, personally and universally, and one cannot be explored without the inclusion of the others. We have much more to say about this, but will explore this more fully in other discussions. NEXT QUESTION: Ladislaus [Ingun]: This is just perfect. Thank you. [Ladislaus]: Michael, I have a seemingly frivolous question. Humans like to party. To drink, dance, socialize, throwing balls and masquerades, playing party games, go to cocktail parties, discos, formal dinners, etc. From whence comes this party-impulse? Is is just a marginal break from more heavy and important things, a way of "taking a rest" and recuperate? Or is is in itself something central and important? That is my question. [Michael Entity]: As the soul evolves, it continues to have access to all levels and ages accumulated by that soul. One of the first realms of experience gained by Essence is the realm of dance, altered states, celebration, lack of inhibition, and tribal rituals. At whatever Soul Age one is, this level of self is drawn from the Infant Soul aspects of your history and experience. In this same way, the Older souls draw from the Baby Soul Age experiences to sustain civility and law and order; the Young Soul Age to be able to HAVE and contribute and compete; the Mature Soul Age for sensitive empathy and activism and self-awareness. The older one's soul gets, the more one begins to utilizing these levels and ages appropriate to current choices, circumstances, and contexts. It is Good Work for the Older Soul to let down his or her hair and dance with the Infant Soul inside, so to speak. [luluaussi]: en-joy, so to speak/ [Michael Entity]: And it is true that, for some, this is a method for "taking a rest" and "recuperating," because this is a return to the nurturing force from which you spring, finding yourself back in the safety of the womb, figuratively speaking, and embracing the validity of your right to BE. The Right to feeling REAL. For some, it can be used as an escape, of course, but it is also a valid direction for embracing the deepest sense of presence one can have as a Physical Being. We have never been ones to encourage the denial of this level of your experience. It makes little sense to us to deny the very foundation upon which every other important structure and meaning is built. To return to that part of you is to check in on your foundations and correct any shifts. CHAT MUST END... REPAIRMEN HERE! Sorry!
OMW - May 17, 2014 - You and Your Reflections Channel: Troy Tolley [CocteauBoy] ANNOUNCES: okay, I had planned for everyone to receive the OMW in advance so these chats could be used for more interactive time, but that flopped miserably. Just like the other Reports that had been offered over the years, I've come to discover that some things require the presence of others for the channeling to flow. I don't know why that is. [CocteauBoy] CONTINUES: so, for the next OMW, I am going to meet with Bobby and/or Geraldine so we can get the OMW in early. That should work. [CocteauBoy] So to accommodate today's chat, since we are going to get the details live, if anyone feels as if they do not get much interactive time, please feel free to grab a 15M Time Bloc 9:32 AM 5/17/2014 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. [MEntity] The subject of focus today is the Inspirational Axis and how this works for each of you as a source of information. [MEntity] All Axes are in constant effect around and within an individual, regardless of whether these are consciously acknowledged, utilized, or rejected. The Moving, Intellectual, and Emotional, or the Action, Expression, and Inspirational, are constantly at work in a dynamic dance within and without. [MEntity] Even the most sedentary of bodies will still have the Action Axis at work in the functions of the body, for example. [MEntity] Of course, the mere existence and presence and functioning of these Axes do not inherently mean they are serving you well, or helping. Consciousness must often come into play for the benefits to be extracted. [MEntity] Yes, the functions of a sedentary body will automatically continue with or without your effort to move, but your conscious effort to move makes a world of difference. [MEntity] When speaking of Inspiration, it is to speak of what you see as YOU in something or someone. [MEntity] When one feels inspired, it is not a force that is emitting from the inspiring art or person, it is you seeing you in that art or person. [MEntity] In most cases of what people think of as "inspiring," that "you" is a higher "you," better you, different you, full of potential, possibility, and then if this inspiration is utilized, you would seek to match that in your own behaviors, efforts, perceptions, etc. [MEntity] If you see an armless woman creating art with her feet, it is not that you now wish to create art with your feet if you feel inspired by that person. It is most likely that you simply see in her that you, too, can overcome what might have seemed like an obstacle to your own expression or accomplishment, and then you work to bring that "you" to the forefront of your challenges. [MEntity] All forms of Inspiration are inspiring TO YOU because they are telling you something about YOU. [MEntity] If you are inspired by music, it is not often that it is meant that you wish to re-create that music, but that it is music that brings you back to you, to a part of you that may easily be forgotten, overshadowed, etc. So all Inspiration is really about bringing you back to you. [MEntity] What we have mentioned, so far, is Inspiration that is fairly easy to spot. This is what most mean by "inspiring." [MEntity] But Inspiration, like everything, has its spectrum, and not all of it is obvious. [MEntity] If Inspiration is all about seeing yourself around you, and seeing ways to bring you back to you, or to bring more of you out of you, then nearly everything you see is some form of Inspiration. [MEntity] More accurately put: nearly everything that catches your attention is some form of inspiration. [MEntity] On the Positive end of the spectrum of Inspiration, it is REFLECTION. [MEntity] This is the end of the spectrum where you tend to see the best of you in others, in events, in arts. [MEntity] REFLECTION can be broken down into PASSIVE and ACTIVE forms of Inspiration. [MEntity] PASSIVE REFLECTION is basically Empathy. [MEntity] Empathy is triggered in you when you see you in someone or something. It is when there is no differentiation between yourself and that which is benefiting or suffering, successful or failing, happy or sad. [MEntity] It is not that you confuse yourself with that person or thing, but that you simply see yourself through or in that thing or person. [MEntity] There is no effort necessary. It is a dynamic that is inherent in your evolution from experiences. [MEntity] ACTIVE REFLECTION is Awareness. [MEntity] This is a state the comes before the Passive State. [MEntity] This is a kind of inspiration that continues to return to you in a way that seems to be asking for your attention, inviting you to see something different, but that you must actively participate in as a means to truly bring empathy. [MEntity] For instance, it may come to one's attention on a regular basis that the suffering of animals is unnecessary and that one can make a difference in that suffering, but it would take effort, action, changes. It is just outside of the edge of empathy. It is not that Reflection is missing, but that there is active resistance. This means active embrace would be needed. [MEntity] One might feel a draw toward the plight of homeless children, but be overwhelmed by what actions could possibly be made to make a difference, so it is kept in the realm of Awareness, but not Empathy. [MEntity] Awareness and Empathy are very close together. This is why there can be some confusion about what one "cares about" versus what one does something about. It is the difference between passive and active, empathy and awareness, but all of those things that matter to you are REFLECTIONS. [MEntity] Awareness is not just in terms of suffering, but also in terms of successes and happiness. One can be fully Aware of how one can make a difference in his or her life when inspired by another, but simply choose not to do so. You are AWARE because you see yourself in the happiness of that person, but you choose not to act. [MEntity] Keep this in mind when inspired by both suffering and pleasures; struggles and successes. Empathy is Passive because you are already there. Awareness is prompting you to do something so you can evolve. [MEntity] Do not pit these against one another, of course. They are merely informative. [MEntity] On the more restrictive end of the spectrum of Inspiration, or the Negative Pole, it could be said to be PROJECTION. [MEntity] Where Reflection invites you to see yourself in things and people around you, Projection is when you impose or superimpose yourself on things and people around you. It is no longer about what you see, but about what you wish to see. [MEntity] PASSIVE PROJECTION could be described as OMENS. [MEntity] "You have seen this before so it must mean this again now." [MEntity] If a person is behaving a certain way, it MUST be because his intentions are "this." [MEntity] Because you know this from your own experience, and your experience is all that matters. [MEntity] If it happened to you, then it must be universally true. Or if you have seen it before, it must always mean the same things. [MEntity] You are no longer reflected in something or someone, but you are projected. This Passive side to Projection is prejudiced, biased, invested, and conclusive. [MEntity] This is still Inspiration because it is still about YOU SEEING YOU. You are still seeing YOU in that person or event or thing. But on this end of the spectrum, it is about protecting yourself from your experiences. [MEntity] On this Passive side of Projection, it is about patterns that you are ready to heal. [MEntity] On the ACTIVE side of PROJECTION, it is DEFENSE. [MEntity] Active Projection is when one does not like what one sees about oneself in others. [MEntity] You see a "weak person" and it disgusts you. This is because you see yourself as weak, and it disgusts you. And the best way to keep from being disgusted with yourself is to be disgusted by others. It is an active defense against that which you refuse to heal. [MEntity] You see an obnoxious or inconsiderate person and you are repulsed. This is because you self-monitor and criticize yourself to such a degree that it angers you that someone else might not have to do so, as well. It is unfair. [MEntity] Your Defensive Projections tell you where you refuse to heal. It tells you where you have gained some righteous footing in your wounding. [MEntity] Your Ominous/Omenous Projections tell you what you are willing to heal, but that you still wish for others to do the work of that healing. [MEntity] Your Aware Reflections tell you where you are in your evolution, and what steps could move you forward in this life. [MEntity] Your Empathic Reflections tell you where you have been, and how far you have come, and where you are, even if you have forgotten. [MEntity] Do each of you see these variations in your life? [ViP1] I do Michael [Maureen] Yes [ViP1] although some stand out more than others [LisaC] yes [Claire2] Oh yes. [GeraldineB] Yes, I see that I'm far more Aware than Empathic -- and do see that Projection issue has still solidly in place [DianeHB] Yes [MEntity] We wish to clarify that this map is a matter of information, not a matter for reprimanding yourselves or assessing where you are lacking or should do differently. That is not our point, and that approach would not be helpful at all. Instead, this is information. It can help you to make the choices you wish to make, to take the steps you wish to take, that you are ready to take, and to accept those areas where you may now realize are helping you to heal. [Jana_K] I can clearly understand Defensive Projections [Jana_K] Still catching up with the other ones (I was a bit behind reading the transcript) [MEntity] All of you are wounded. Most of you will be all the way until your last breath and beyond the last life. Many wounds require Review to fully heal. However, the more consciousness you bring to where you are wounded, and how you project that wounding upon others, the more choice you have within a life to free yourself from that, and to move into awareness and empathy. [MEntity] YOUR HOMEWORK: (if you choose) [MEntity] Look at what inspires you in the most common sense of the word. What elates you, lifts you, makes you feel a return to yourself, "inspired." List a few of these so you can look at how these might reflect your evolution, your experiences that have been integrated, and let yourself embrace that vastness. [MEntity] Look at what keeps coming to your attention for making a change. Something gentle, but somehow important. Haunting you in some way without being nagging. Look at what a few of these might be, and realize that these are messages from you, asking you for that one step or action that might shift you into a different perspective, experience, and empathy. [MEntity] Choose one or two, and let yourself make that leap. [MEntity] Look at what you constantly see around that is irritating and agitating, constantly meaning something distracting to you. Let yourself in on the fact that there is wounding here that may need your attention, and it might be time to do the work of that healing, instead of presuming it is someone else's problem or cause. [LisaC] Are we meant to list them here, or just think about it? [MEntity] In those instances where you are ready to heal, it is often only a matter of choice in that moment when you are next triggered. Do you react? Or do you respond? Let yourself be triggered, but unless you are in some way being truly violated, you may simply be able to soothe your feathers and see the experience in a different way. [MEntity] You do not have to know exactly what the wound is, or how it got there, or what to do to heal it. Just shifting the experience will usually begin that process. [MEntity] (Lisa, this is for you to do on your own.) [MEntity] And finally, look at what you righteously stand on as justified disgust or repulsion. List 3 things that "really get to you." These are almost incapacitating in their effects, angering, or depressing, defeating. [MEntity] These are areas where you refuse to heal because you probably have more work to do in that area of your life, or across lives. [MEntity] This can help you to gain insight into your Self-Karma and Karma. [MEntity] Now, before we leave you with all of that, we will return to the point that this is only INFORMATIVE. [MEntity] For example, if you are repulsed and angered by the raping of a child, there is nothing wrong with you. For most of you, this wounding will carry forward through to the last of your lives, as most of you will have had this experience stored in your Instinctive Centers and networked among the species. Some wounding is IMPORTANT. [MEntity] The quadrants of Inspiration are there to help you sort out your experiences, to use them in ways that evolve you, and to use them in ways that help you to help others. [MEntity] So what you would want to do is look at what wounding may be serving you, and which ones are not. Those that are not serving you are probably those that can be healed, shifted, and moved toward Empathy. [MEntity] If your wounding helps you to navigate, then it is serving you. If it debilitates you and incapacitates you, then it is not. [Maureen] Michael, you said: The quadrants of Inspiration are there to help you sort out your experiences, to use them in ways that evolve you, "and to use them in ways that help you to help others". In what ways can we help others? [MEntity] If it is not serving you, it can move into healing. [MEntity] Maureen, if a child is being raped or abused, or an animal is fighting for its life on a factory farm, and there is repulsion at these ideas, then your prompt to intervene is helpful, not just for yourself, but others. Inspiration is always about you, but it can often be about how you can help others to be more of themselves, too. The point is not to aim for apathy, but empathy, so some wounding will always stay sensitive and raw. [MEntity] Repulsions do not have to be toward such obvious scenarios, but about how another makes choices, behaves, affects others, etc. However, in those more nuanced scenarios, one must do the work of assessing whether this Projection is based on beneficial wounding to help you navigate, or if it is simply a deflection from your own responsibilities to make different choices and behaviors, yourself. [MEntity] As a simplistic example, if one has been threatened when walking down a street at night, it is fair to then reconsider a different route the next time. This is helpful and increased your navigational skills. If you, instead, now never go out at night at all, you have probably fallen into a Self-Karmic or Karmic scenario. [MEntity] As Troy has suggested, if any of you would like to discuss a couple of your forms of Inspiration as both Reflection or Projection, you would now schedule 15 minutes with us so that we may focus on that with you. For now, we will leave you with this mapping of Inspiration to help you take a new look at your spectrum of experiences and how you arrange them. [MEntity] Good day to each of you. 11:22 AM 5/17/2014
