Michael Speaks 011010 TOPIC CHAT (new format) Self-Karma MEntity: Despite the complexities that can be involved in Self-Karma, the actual concept, exploration, and resolution are quite simple. That is not to say that the process is "easy," but that describing these elements is fairly simple. First, we will define Karma as "any form of intensity (imbalance) as a result of interference to your capacity for Choice." Interference of Choice is not the only criteria for generating Karma. There must be an intensity, or imbalance, generated from at least one party, and most-often the party who suffered the loss of Choice. The sudden increase for capacity of Choice is also a form of Karma, if intensity is generated. We describe this as Philanthropic Karma, and this form of Karma "feels good," but it is Karma, nonetheless, as it interfered with Choice and generated intensity. When Karma is generated, "Ribbons" are formed as a means to track those intensities. Those Ribbons connect among the Instinctive Centers of all who are involved. It might be more accurate to describe these as "tuned frequencies" that do not lose track of the members of that frequency, but we feel that "ribbons" is easier to image. The resolution of Karma is in the "burning" of the "ribbon," or neutralizing that frequency. The burning of ribbons is always done through role reversal, either with the parties from each side reversing positions, or from the party who generated the karma reversing his or her own actions that generated the Karma. A simplified example of each might be: Reversing Positions = you kill someone, that someone kills you. Reversing Actions = you kill someone, you then save that someone in a later life. We realize that we have been sharing the details about our perception of Karma, but this is helpful in understanding your Self-Karma because much of the same dynamic applies. We will define Self-Karma as being "a dual position within that interferes with your own capacity for Choice, and generates intensity, or imbalance." Often these are also described as "Issues." ALL Self-Karma is contained within a single lifetime and does not carry over in the same way that Ribbons do among fragments. Self-Karma is generated by the Personality within the lifetime. However, Self-Karma can show up as patterns for an Essence, because Essence designs each Personality, and often the patterns of exploration sought by Essence generates similar opportunities across lifetimes for each Personality that tends toward certain Self-Karmic issues. If a Personality resolves his or her Self-Karma within a lifetime, that Self-Karma is usually not repeated, because Essence then has a completed set of new data from which to use for creating a lifetime. Since Essence learns through Personality, it can only progress beyond certain Self-Karmic patterns when a Personality finally figures out how to resolve the issue. That is not to say that a pattern does not repeat, but that it is rarely repeated. When we say that it is not repeated, we are speaking about a specific Self-Karma, but that issue may be a part of a larger category of Self-Karma, which we will explain in a moment. If you are alive, you most-likely have Self-Karma. Self-Karma is so common a development among Personalities that even the hosts for the Transcendental and Infinite Souls carried Self-Karma. However, in the cases of Transcendental and Infinite Soul hosts, the Self-Karma is always resolved within the lifetime. Self-Karma is generated in four categories of your life, which mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System. It would be more accurate to say that Self-Karma is generated in one or more of your four "bodies" that mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System: your Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual/Instinctive Bodies. These categories can help you to identify your Self-Karma by where, how, and when you find yourself divided in a way that interferes with your capacity for Choice. Self-Karma is often paralyzing in its effects. When we say "paralyzing," we include those uncontrollable compulsions that force a choice even when you "know" is not a choice you would prefer to make. We include non-choice, refusal to choose, or the fear to choose, as a means to suspend yourself between two or more choices, as forms of paralyzing. What we will share now is a simple exercise for identifying your Self-Karma in a way that allows for tangibility so that resolution can be made, if you choose to pursue such an endeavor. Draw up a chart in a way that creates the four categories, or bodies: Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual. With merely a glance at your life, considering each category, it might be fairly easy to identify at least one Self-Karma from each category. You could translate each category into a way to help your examination, such as: Expression, Inspirational, Action, and Assimilliation areas of your life. Assimilation might be better understood as your "Learning" or "Comprehension," or the "Lessons" are of life. Another translation: my world view; my relationships; my body; my spirit. Questions to pose for each category, regardless of how one translates that category might sound something like: "What do I get the most upset about in this category?" Or "In this category, what experience repeats for me that keeps me from making the choices I want to make?" Or "In this category, where do I wish something else would change before I can make a choice that I prefer?" Or "In this category, to what do I tend to overreact?" Or "In this category, what triggers reaction in me?" Or "What frustrates me the most about myself, others, life in this category?" At first, your examination may bring up broad categories, and that is a good place to start, but you would eventually want to narrow it down to specific triggers or situations. For instance, you may feel that issues of INJUSTICE is a large context that carries triggers for you, but upon closer inspection, you may find that you are really only triggered when someone does not comply to your way of thinking, or agree with you, or celebrate your passionate stance with the same passion. This might indicate that your issues are not so much about Injustice, but about "Being Right" or "Being Superior." Once one has identified a Self-Karma, then the work of resolution can begin. Resolution is found when there is no longer a sense of division, and your choice is completely owned by you. We will give a very simple example: A fragment identifies that she has "issues" with her body image, detailing that she feels ugly because she does not lose weight, but does not do the work of losing that weight. This would fall under BODY, or Physical. The broader category would be "Body Image," but she might find she is triggered in instances where she is going to be social or intimate. Her Self-Karma then might be the division within that says she is beautiful just as she is, as long as no one sees her. Being "Beautiful As I Am" means to her to never having that concept challenged, so she remains isolated and secluded to sustain that version of herself. Being "As Beautiful as Others Prefer" would mean shaping the body into a new form, which means exercise, diet, and patience, but this is in conflict with "Beautiful As I Am," and to follow through in that direction might mean she really is not beautiful as she is, so reprimanding, self-punishment, self-hate, repulsion replace diet, exercise, and patience. She remains at home, or secretly isolated internally, even when in social situations. The resolution would come only when she MAKES THE CHOICE in one direction or the other, and allows herself to own that choice. If she chooses to "Be Beautiful As I Am" then it would require the work of self-acceptance, self-kindness, accentuating all that is felt to be beautiful, internally and externally, and to build upon that. She would celebrate the beautiful in those people and things that she knows as beautiful beyond any standard in entertainment or social media. She would allow for all forms of beauty, knowing that this is a subjective matter, and never something that can be standardized. If she chooses to "Be as Beautiful as Others Prefer," then she would own the steps necessary to go down that path, and begin a commitment to exercise, diet, patience, and a reality-check that she cannot transform her body to be exactly as someone else's, but that she can make it the best it can be. She would embrace the fact that she may not please everyone, but focus on moving her body into a state that is pleasing to herself. She is simply taking care of herself. In short: the Self-Karma is a division that could be described as "Accept my self as I am/Improve upon my self-image." The resolution is to choose one of those and to own all that goes along with that choice. The irony is that in the commitment to one or the other, BOTH are ultimately included; hence the resolution. Neither side of the division is left behind. Accepting yourself as you are automatically includes an upgrade to your self image. Improving upon your self-image automatically brings a kindness to the process that is an acceptance for who you are all along the way of your improvement. Improving yourself in your own eyes automatically improves your representation of yourself to others, thus improving yourself in their eyes, as well. Improving yourself in a way that others may find appealing often leads to clarity about what must be improved in your own eyes. When choosing a direction for commitment to resolution, it is often more beneficial and efficient to choose the direction over which you have the most control. For instance, taking the route of "Accept Myself As I Am" is far more within the control of that person than if she were to entirely depend upon the external factors for gauging her progress. Both paths could work, but this is why many teachings encourage one to start with the self, since that is where one has the most control, and is almost always guaranteed success. Choosing to go in a direction of lesser control that requires others to comply to your ideal is still a valid path, but a more complicated and challenging path, with less-likely successes. The more time and care given to your examination of your Self-Karma, the more quickly and easily the resolution might come because the solutions are often within the issue, itself. **************Q&A*************** Are there different gemstones with their frequencies that might be utilized to help neutralize the energies of these four self-karma categories? MEntity: If it is understood that these gemstones are merely a supportive energy, and not an energy that actually does the work for you, then there are stones that might help some fragments receptive to that energy. To understand how these work, it might be helpful to think of each gemstone as being a light of specific color, and when that light is shined into your space, it can highlight certain things. It is not that the stone is actually "doing" anything other than being itself. A flashlight in the dark is not magic, but it can certainly improve one's capacity for seeing. And so it is with such tools as gemstones. With that being understood, the most common stones available for helping support in the process of Self-Karma might be: Rose Quartz or Pyrite for Physical/Body Issues Amethyst Quartz or Citronite for World View/Intellectual/Expression issues Tourmaline or Jades for various Learning/Comprehension/Instinctive Issues Tiger's Eye or Azurites for Emotional/Relationship Issues These stones may help to highlight the areas prone to opportunities for resolution, but they will not resolve the issues for you, or soothe them. There is validity to frequencies generated from inanimate objects, especially from those directly of the planet, but as with any tool, it is what you do with them that makes the difference, not necessarily the properties of that object. A hammer is just a hammer until one picks it up to use with intent, and that intent can have a multitude of outcomes. How do you deal with cases where manifesting is involved and appears to interfere with the resolution? For example: If the woman above decides to get in shape, but then injures herself or gets into a car accident that hurts her back. How to avoid or get past that? I see it a lot. MEntity: The Self-Karma would remain, as well as the resolution, regardless of circumstances along the way. To make this clearer, we will use an example of a man who has lost his legs who feels he is worthless without being able to walk. The Self-Karma is not in whether he can walk, or not, but in how he experiences whether he can walk, or not. If he is divided to such an extent that it paralyzes his capacity for choice, then he has generated Self-Karma. If he embraces his experience, or if he commits to rising above it, then the Self-Karma is resolved. For the woman who has hurt her back after committing to improving the health of her body, she can still commit to the improvement of her health and body. When a commitment in one direction of resolution comes with great obstacles, or surprise obstacles, or challenges, the commitment itself must inherently make room for all of the possibilities of that path, or it is not a commitment. Is there a way of avoiding or lessening the chances of that happening in the first place? It seems to me that it happens when someone forces themselves towards one choice without being ready? You are correct that "forcing a choice" is still included in Self-Karma, as we described it as a compulsion. And that is a good point for differentiation: Resolution comes from EMBRACING YOUR CHOICE, not FORCING your choice. Forcing a choice leads to complications that compound the Self-Karma. Embracing a choice means absolute permission to explore that choice on your own terms at your own pace, and with an invitation to Essence, your friends, your loved ones for support in that choice. Forcing a choice is usually marked by intensity and often secrecy. Embracing a choice is usually marked by a gentleness and an openness without shame. That is not to say that embracing a choice would avoid any surprises, but that embracing a choice inherently brings the strength of adaptability. In addressing self-karma through another channel once, you told me to consider my greatest concern in life and I'll be on my way to identifying my self-karma... then you asked me "how satisfied are you with your response to friendship". Would you elaborate a little more on the why of that particular question and how it relates to my self-karma? MEntity: For examination on a broader level, we would ask about the "greatest concern in life," and this would allow one to find his or her most pressing issue/s. Following this with a question about relationships would help to identify a category. That question would have been asked if we suspected it may be helpful to look into your Emotional or Relationship Category for refinement of that exploration. Thank you, good evening! Could you please give an example of, and resolution to, a spiritual self karma? Would perfectionism be a spiritual self karma? MEntity: A broad example of a Spiritual/Instinctive Self-Karma might be those issues associated with Guilt and Shame. A specific Spiritual Self-Karma within Guilt or Shame might be in the experience of being an Old Soul among family members who are Baby and Young, and having to deal with this in a way that does not leave you feeling divided between "being yourself" and "compromising just to keep the peace." In that case, the choice would be between "being yourself" and letting others deal with that, or "Compromising to keep the peace" as a means of dealing with it on your own. The resolution would be in the fact that regardless of which choice you make, you are ALWAYS "yourself," and no context changes that, regardless of the facet you choose to bring forth appropriately or strategically. In an example you gave, - which is EXACTLY me, lol, and started with back injuries, are both options you gave equally valid for truly resolving the issue? Using that example, what happens if you improve yourself and then later on you end up backsliding or being injured, etc and are once again feeling overweight and unattractive? It seems like loving yourself as you are resolves the situation, whereas changing your body, while healthier physically, could be undone. Self-Karmic resolution is immediate and permanent and not based upon conditions. If the motivations for improving upon the body as a path to resolution is conditional upon reaching some conclusive state that will only THEN be satisfied, then it is merely a perpetuation of the Self-Karma. If one were to choose to improve upon the body as a means for reaching a state considered "beautiful," it would have to include kindness, patience, and a devotion to the self in a way that naturally translates into "beautiful as you are along the way." The embrace of the commitment to improve upon the body as a means to reach a greater state of beauty would mean that you are merely at one point in that spectrum of beauty, rather than its needing a finish line to cross. Another way to understand when one is in Resolution is when you know your choice is because you WANT to make that choice, not because you feel you HAVE to make that choice. "I HAVE to make this choice if I want to be beautiful" is not a choice that resolves Self-Karma. "I HAVE to accept myself as I am in order to feel beautiful" is equally imprisoning. In this case, it would be helpful to understand that the ideal of beautiful cannot be reached without creating steps along the way that are seen as beautiful to you. Much like building a brick house, it must be completed brick by brick. It is never helpful to deny that it is a brick house simply because it is not to a point where you feel you can live in it. For instance, the simple decision to "try to like how I look today" is a beautiful decision. It may not stick, but for now, it is beautiful. The more "for now" moments of beauty you extract from your experiences will add to the materials that build your ideal structure of beauty. The decision not to eat a certain way for the day because you feel this contributes to your better health is a beautiful decision, even if you do not choose that the next day. For now, it is beautiful. Those simple moments build into a matrix that helps to generate moments that are far more pivotal toward resolution. So you often surround yourself with 'conditions' when you are experiencing self-karma? MEntity: Oh yes. Depending on the extent and depth of the Self-Karma, the more conditional your existence. "I can be beautiful as I am, as long as I am invisible." Those "conditions" generate a false reality, and that is what gets exhausting, not the actual process of resolution. Sustaining a false reality as a means to balance the divisions within is literally exhausting. All Self-Karma can be resolved in an instant once the truth of the absolute superficiality and uselessness is comprehended. ALL Self-Karma are simply forms of self-discipline that have gone awry in the self-parenting process. Or put another way, generated during the Third Internal Monad. Is the majority of self-karma generated during or through the 3rd IM or are their other times/experiences that generate a certain amount of self-karma as well? MEntity: Self-Karma is almost entirely generated during the Third Internal Monad, and complicated or refined over the rest of the life. For instance: there may be the experience of being rejected based on appearance, which prompts one to be very concerned about appearance, which then becomes a divide within that acceptance is based heavily upon appearance, which then becomes specific to certain body parts, or spreads to include the entire body. So it might be useful looking at the experiences surrounding the 3rd IM in order to help identify some of the behaviours that are self-karmic? Find their genesis, so to speak, and understanding what has given rise to them, be able to put them into a more proper perspective? MEntity: It is not necessary to understand from where or when these were generated. It will never matter where or when these were generated, as it is the current "you" who make the choices now. It would be similar to trying to understand when, where, and why you have brown hair. It does not matter. You have the choice to embrace that color, or to change it. We pointed out the time frame of origin as a means to point out that many of these issues are "teen age" or "young soul" levels of issues, or even younger, and that their bearing has little validity or relevance to you as an adult or older soul. Self-karma is created by ourselves and not circumstances or others... MEntity: Correct. It is created when one interferes with one's own choices to the point that it generates a divide within. Thanks Michael. You've touched on some of this already, but here's my original question/s: Could you comment on how Self Karma tends to be experienced across all soul ages, or is it more likely to be confronted by us as we mature in soul age? MEntity: If you are alive, you most likely experience Self-Karma. Most Self-Karma is relative to the predominant Soul Age for your planet, or your current society within which you were nurtured. So there are links to Social/Cultural soul age? Relative...? MEntity: All Soul Ages experience Self-Karma, but it is true that there are emphases within each: Infant and Old tend toward Spiritual Issues; Baby tends toward Intellectual/Expression Issues; Young tends toward Physical/Body Issues; and Mature toward Emotional/Relationship Issues. Though Old tends toward Spiritual Issues, they are prone to taking on the predominant issues of the times, and can run that gamut of issues across the soul ages, depending on what is of interest for exploration that has never been resolved. Most Old Souls that we know of have yet to resolve Self-Karmic issues remembered from their Young Soul days and are finally "getting around to them" now. That is because the current society fully supports Young Soul issues involving appearance, body, health, etc. When most of you were in your Young Soul days, your "Baby" or Intellectual/Expression issues were most explored. We would also point out that now that the planet is technically Mature Soul, newer generations would generate their Self-Karma during the Fourth Internal Monad. In an Old Soul Society, these would be generated during the Fifth Internal Monad. The predominant Soul Age during the lifetime usually indicates when the Self-Karma is generated, and though it can also indicate what kind, it is not necessarily limited to that. Does this mean we would have to wait for society to catch up to work through mature and old soul issues? MEntity: No, we simply speak about the practicality of the times, since Self-Karma is generated and contained within the single Personality, which is most-often imprinted by the current society, but anyone can work on anything at any time. Oh, I misunderstood -- there are four categories of Self-Karma, but one only develops an issue within one category during any given lifetime? MEntity: No. The time frame for when they are usually generated is fairly consistent, and it can indicate the root of many issues, but could include issues from any category. In your response to another question, you mentioned that one must choose between being themselves and compromising to keep the peace. How do you accept that finding that compromise may never occur and to be accepting that your best attempts to rectify a situation will never be enough while accepting that the consequences of the failure of another will happen to them, without it creating the self-karma of guilt or shame? I seem to have this type of pattern repeating through the past five or ten years for me and I'd really like to break it somehow. MEntity: We see that is a helpful question that addresses the nature of resolution when it is valid. In this case, if one were to choose to compromise for the sake of keeping the peace and does not experience this compromise as an assault against one's being, but finds that compromise still does nothing, then the the point of Being Oneself is still intact, as it is clarified that no amount of compromise makes a difference, and that the issue was never about one's Being. From that space within the original resolution, it would be a matter of decisions based on what to do with these individuals, and not to do with oneself. This may lead to another layer of Self-Karma because it might get to the Self-Karma one might have about who "should love me, no matter what." Do you endure the suffering within their presence as a means to receive potential love, or do you remove yourself from those people who should love you. In short, it might move into issues about where love, and what love, is in your life. Is it more loving to remove yourself from the exhausting exchanges, or is it more loving to allow room for their lack of love for your presence as you choose to love anyway. In most instances where one feels one must continually endure the presence of another while feeling exhausted and even damaged, then the question is not about love, but about Rights. Could you explain further on your definition of Rights? MEntity: We will include our Map of Rights in the final transcript, but as an example: every fragment has the Right to Love and Be Loved, and this Right is either supported or removed in the process of a lifetime. So it might be a question of whether those who refuse to love have more of a right to your love than you do? Just curious about the obstacles to resolution of self-karma...what tends to keep us from resolving them? Are these obstacles different for the various soul ages? MEntity: The most-common obstacles to resolution are boredom, specialness, and crisis management: Boredom is the result of rejection of Essence, and like a dog with anxiety cut off from his sense of resource, can chew off his own skin to keep busy with distraction. Specialness is a result of rejection of Uniqueness, and spends all of its energy seeking constant external validation for any sense of value. Uniqueness requires nothing for it to Be; it is inherent. Specialness requires constant feedback. Crisis Management is a result of rejection, or distortion, of one's strengths gained over the lifetime. It becomes far more familiar and routine to manage crises, or patterns of issues, than it is to use those strengths for managing the creation of the life, and new patterns of freedom. Boredom is usually linked to Self-Destruction and Greed; Specialness to Self-deprecation and Arrogance; and Crises to Impatience and Martyrdom. Put another way, Boredom often perpetuates Intellectual issues; Specialness perpetuates Emotional issues; and Crises perpetuates Physical Issues. That is a generality, but it is fairly consistent, keeping in mind that there may be layers within a Self-Karma. Could you give an example of Crisis Management in the final transcript? I am not sure I understand that one. MEntity: We can give an example now: It is much more comforting and familiar to, say, manage the trauma and pain caused by your struggling to accept an invitation where you feel your appearance will be scrutinized, than to simply go, or not. Crisis Management vs Life Management. Crisis vs Choice. Crisis vs Creativity. Hello Michaels & Troy! Initially I wanted to ask WHY self-karma arises and why would we ever want to interfere with our own choices to the point of generating a divide, but I understand that the channel may be tired by now, so will ask instead if you could give an example of the most typical form of self-karma for an Old soul? MEntity: We can answer both: Why one generates Self-Karma is simple to understand if one does not see it as such an imposition, but as a process of learning that moves from the experience of duality and into the experience of a spectrum, or wholeness. In every instance of Self-Karma there is duality, and in every resolution there is a spectrum, or wholeness. Self-Karma generates from over-simplifying, and Resolution comes from embracing complexity. In every lifetime, every Personality is born an Infant Soul in perspective, and seeks to not only return to the greater perspective already reached in previous lives, but to exceed that. However, this process includes a process from Duality to Spectrum, so to speak, so none escape that process. There is no typical Self-Karma for the Old Soul. If the Old Soul lives in an Old Soul world, then the Self-Karma might tend toward Spiritual issues as "typical," but otherwise, the Self-Karma tends toward the predominant Soul Age of the planet or environment. However, for the sake of example, a "typical" Old Soul/Spiritual Issue could be said to be the resolution between the fact of the current Personality as it exists among all Personalities across time for Essence. Recognizing the profundity of how small one really is in the scheme of things while seeking to retain a sense of identity, contribution, and participation can be terrifying. This is why we say that Old Souls learn through Terror. END OF CHAT Map of Rights: The original map referred to in this transcript is not currently available, but the seven basic rights are well covered in OMW: Tending to Your 7 Basic Rights.
OMW - Sep 4, 2010 - Your Turning Points Troy Tolley, Channel (Note: Two things stand out about this transcript: 1) it triggered huge responses from the participants; so, the questions aren't as well organized or integrated as some other transcripts -- I left it "as is" in order to keep the emotional tone; 2) this topic really integrates well with the more recent "Doing versus Being" workshop held in January, 2011. glb) MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here. We have been asked today to speak about what Troy describes as a "Turning Point" that each fragment may, or may not, have within a lifetime. We will first define "Turning Point" as "the unequivocal, historical comprehension that a correction of course on a Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and/or Spiritual Path is necessary and possible as a result of a particular, pivotal experience or choice." We will further define "correction of course" as meaning "a direction of active preference of path that includes improved health for one or more of the bodies, as opposed to a passive presumption of a path that is not nurturing for one or more of the bodies." A "Turning Point" usually shows up within a life when the original intention for the life is being cut short by the death of one or more of the bodies. And by "bodies," we do mean the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual Bodies, or more accurately, "layers" of the Body. When one of these bodies nears death, and the original intention did not include that death or exit point, then a Turning Point is generated so as to give the entirety of the Body (all layers/bodies) a chance to recover and correct the course of the life. Usually that correction of course is drastic because it is in contrast to the momentum that was leading to death. Each "layer" or Body can experience death, even as the other layers continue beyond that death of one body. For instance, a fragment can experience the death of his or her Emotional Body while continuing Physically, Intellectually, Spiritually. Even when the Physical Body dies, one can continue to "live" through the Emotional, Intellectual, and Spiritual bodies, and this is most-often reported as a "haunting," of course. Regardless of their lack of tangibility, these bodies are ALL of the Physical Plane in terms of material as a medium for Essence. These materials are not yet understood entirely, but may best be understood by you as various densities, or frequencies, that make up the entirety of The Body. Your Body is made up of these densities, or frequencies, from densest to finest: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, and these are "encased," so to speak, in the matrix that might be called the Etheric Body, which acts as a generator, bridge, and template. Each of these are subject to the scathing that is inherent of the Physical Plane, and thus can be harmed, injured, or die. However, as long as the Etheric Body/casing is intact, not only is the presence in the Physical Plane still intact, but so is the Personality, as the Personality is biological, or more accurately, it is a part of the Bodies. As we said before: a "turning point" is a potential result that comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. [Geraldine] Please describe what the physical body looks like if any of the other three bodies die. MEntity: Therefore how to prevent a Turning Point becomes increasingly interesting to Essence as it grows older, since keeping all of the Bodies healthy also becomes increasingly interesting to the soul. One of the ways to prevent a Turning Point, ironically, is to CREATE a Turning Point. More accurately said, it is how to create one Consciously, as most Turning Points are created unconsciously. [Deb22] Is this not what I did — created a turning point — by taking that recent, extended trip to SE Asia. To the unknown, to being alive because my bodies — the emotional, intellectual and spiritual were nearing death? MEntity: Deb, we would agree. The difference between creating a Turning Point consciously vs unconsciously is profound in terms of catalysts, but equally as profound in terms of impact. It could be said, then, that the Positive Pole of a Turning Point is Transmutation and the Negative Pole is Desperation. One end is fueled by Choice whereas the other end is fueled by Survival. One end is created from conscious recognition whereas the other end is created from unconscious realization. For instance, they are the difference between stating, "something has GOT to change" vs "Oh my god, I almost died." [Deb22] What is hard is the next step. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture — stillness versus movement. It is exciting but scary. Any suggestions.? My turning point felt conscious — was it? MEntity: If you are interested in this workshop with us, you have probably stated at some point: "something has got to change." Or you have experienced a Turning Point already, and just want to understand that process. We will make time for personal questions in a more organized exchange coming up. As we mentioned before: a Turning Point comes from the near-death, or death, of one or more of the Bodies. When there is a death of the body, or layer, as long as there is a denser body alive, then the finer body can be "brought back to life." In other words, as long as the Physical Body is intact, then any "death" of any other body can be revived, revitalized. We will define "death" here as "having no active, functioning presence." There are, literally, those whose Emotional Bodies are dead in that regard. As are there some whose Intellectual or Spiritual Bodies are dead. It is not inaccurate then to say that a Turning Point is a Resurrection. Within context, there is validity to the concept of being "born again." Each Soul Age tends toward certain bodies having more trouble surviving the life than other bodies. [Karine] When resurrected, does the body that died come back exactly the same as it was, or is it different than it used to be? MEntity: Karine, it is transmutated. It is always in a higher form if it is resurrected; if the Turning Point is utilized. The Infant Souls tend to have trouble keeping any of the Bodies alive. Baby Souls have the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Body alive. Young Souls have the hardest time keeping the Intellectual Bodies alive. Mature Souls have the hardest time keeping the Emotional Bodies alive. And Old Souls have the hardest time keeping the Physical Bodies alive. Keep in mind that "alive" and "death" here are not entirely literal. For instance, the Older Soul has a hard time keeping the Physical Body "alive" in the sense that we already defined: "having no active, functioning presence." Older Souls are most-prone to hiding away their Physical Bodies from the world, in other words. They have evolved to such a state of spirituality, of spiritual strength, that the emphasis of life tends to move away from Physical presence, and it takes a lot more effort to be alive as a Physical Being. Being "alive", as in, "having active, functioning presence." This helps explain a great deal about much of the turmoil and terror that can often plague the Old Soul. It also helps explain the distractions and overcompensations of the younger Soul Ages. For instance, as the Baby Soul has the hardest time keeping the Spiritual Bodies alive, they tend to have the most resurrections of the Spiritual Body, or an emphasis on being "born again" on that level. The Older Soul often requires this same kind of profound turning point, but on a Physical Level. Therefore, many Older Souls will have their Turning Point generated when in the face of Physical Death. Though it would be difficult to validate, we can say that Older Souls tend to have the "close calls" with physical death more often, proportionally, than other soul ages for that reason. Ironically, they are also more likely to create a Turning Point unconsciously than the other Soul Ages, with Baby Souls being most-prone to creating Turning Points from a conscious intention than other Soul Ages. Before we move further into this topic, and into more personal territory, we now invite you to ask questions about the topic in general, or to comment on your sense of validity about what we have shared so far. [Maureen] Based on this discussion: How does "Energetic Healing" take place/work and what can be done to strengthen it's effect on all the "Bodies/Layers?" [Geraldine] What can cause the "death" of one of the intangible bodies? [Martha] Can you tell if another person has a "dead" body? [Maureen] Lights are on and no ones' home! MEntity: In response to Maureen: Most "Energetic Healing" is fairly useless without the implementation of a counterpart that might be called an "anchor" for a circuit to be fulfilled for that level of healing. [Karine] are the bodies related to the Centers? MEntity: For instance, Physical Healing, which is the most obvious form of healing, has a medium that is tangible in such forms as medicine, bandaging, and active monitoring of the wound. [Deb22] Can you please amplify the response to Maureen's question? What would be a counterpart, an anchor? MEntity: "Energetic" Healing most-often refers to more intangible techniques for providing an exchange of energy for the intent of healing various levels of the Body. However, regardless of the finer body, or the lack of tangibility for the healing, there still needs to be an "anchor," or a counterpart that helps to generate a circuit between healer and healed. [Maureen] What do you mean by anchor - counterpart? MEntity: For instance, the "laying on of hands" or the use of touch, in general, is powerful as an anchor, or counterpart, to many "energetic" healing techniques. [Maureen] From your perspective, what actually takes place with an energetic healing? [Deb22] What about a geometric grid with the elements, the bodies, the directions-- creating a mandala implementing those forms? MEntity: Other examples might be: good conversation as a counterpart to Intellectual Healing; affection as a counterpart to Emotional Healing; the use of symbols, either imaginary or tactile, are quite powerful. For example: if one were to use "at-a-distance" healing as a means to help someone, it would help for that recipient to have a symbol for help in completing that circuit. This could be assigned by the healer for the recipient to visualize or duplicate, or chosen by the recipient for the healer to focus upon. A person carrying a stone that is the anchor for healing energy from a healer is much more likely to receive and benefit from healing than someone who was simply told that the healer would "send" some healing energy. [Martha] whats an anchor for Spiritual healing? [Maureen] With "Hands on Healing" - what can be done to strengthen its effect so it lasts longer? Or has a permanent effect? MEntity: In response to GERALDINE: the death of the Emotional Body can come from emotional overwhelm, self-loathing, abandonment, emotional abuse, etc.; the death of the Intellectual Body can come from Intellectual overwhelm, extreme loss, unprocessed grief, excessive disappointment, philosophical abuse or mindfucking, etc.; the death of the Spiritual Body can come from overwhelming demands of life, lack of capacity to comprehend beyond your own needs and wants, extreme displacement of identity for the sake of compromise and order, etc. [Geraldine] a-ha -- all of those negative poles pile up [Maureen] The North Koreans must suffer from all these the death of the Physical Body, besides the obvious literal death, would come from extreme rejection of physical life, repulsion for the functions of the physical body, terror in realizing the fragility of the body, profound desperation to feel safe, profound misunderstanding that the vastness of the universe equates an insignificance of the self, etc. MEntity: In response to MARTHA: it is often difficult to determine if one of the bodies is dead, but if one is sensitive enough, one can often feel that sense of "emptiness" in a person on the relevant level of Body. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: Some symptoms of each body's death might be: Spiritual Death - addiction, capacity to murder, willingness to enslave or oppress; Intellectual Death - lack of ethics, profound disregard for boundaries, profound lack of concern for the Effects of one's Cause. Emotional Death - extreme depression, apathy, paralysis of isolation (feeling trapped/alone when not trapped/alone) Physical Death - squalor, poor hygiene, extreme wishful thinking (extreme entitlement) In response to KARINE: yes, these Bodies are related to the Centers indirectly, as the Centers are related to the Chakras. Though our channels and students often presume that the Centers are synonymous with the Chakras, we do not use the term Centers to represent Chakras. Therefore, these Bodies are directly related to the Chakras, but indirectly related to the Centers. We use the term "Center" to describe a Personality's "Center of Gravity," and while this can be seen as an extension of the Chakra, it is not about the Chakra, itself. [Maureen] What part does Auric Hygiene play in "warding off" the death of a "Body"? MEntity: So, for instance, a Personality may be Emotionally Centered, but his Emotional Body is "Dead." This would mean that the fragment still navigates life based on attraction and repulsion relative to Inspiration (emotion), but has closed down any vitality to his Emotional Body, hence having "closed down" his Heart Chakra. [Deb22] What is the interrelationship between the 9 needs and the death of the bodies? MEntity: In other words, his other bodies may still move through life in relation to what is or isn't inspiring, but his Emotional Body has cut off contact with his Essence. In response to DEB, we did elaborate on the Anchor/Counterpart, and can do so further if that was not enough. [Karine] so a body's death is basically the rejecting of essence? [Deb22] I was referring to our primary needs: Freedom, Adventure, Exchange, Expression, etc. and was asking for the correlation [Martha] that's a big question Deb [Deb22] I realize that but I think it is most relevant to our discussion MEntity: We are responding to the questions as we see them in order above. We suggest a halt on the questioning now until we have responded to each that has already been posted. [Geraldine] I don't think Needs applies to this -- we'll never get to issues about how to do up a Turning Point consciously at this rate MEntity: We explained what a "counterpart" and anchor is in relation to energetic healing, but the short answer would that a counterpart or anchor is a specific symbol or tangible object that acts as a medium for the energy that is being transmitted for healing purposes. Those symbols and objects are completely subject to the creativity and sense of personal relevance between the healer and healed, and are not specific to the different bodies. We are now to Maureen's question of "what actually takes place during energetic healing?" Whether Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual, any healing is a corrective frequency relative to that body. More specifically, it is a return to order from chaos, or alignment from disarray. When we say that it is a return to order from chaos, we say that in terms of relativity. What may be order, or beauty, to one person's body is chaos to another's. [Martha] Can we hold more questions until we hear about how to consciously create a TP? we're going to run out of time MEntity: For example, what an Older Soul sees in a Baby Soul's being "born again" is "ugly" compared to the beauty the Baby Soul actually experiences in that healing. [Deb22] Suggestion: Why can't we continue this topic next month? It is clear, it is massive. MEntity: Keeping this in mind can help when one acts as a healer, either professionally or as a friend. Healing is something that must be determined by the recipient, not the sender. (We can respond to the remaining questions above, and still cover the "how to" part of our discussion, if everyone has approximately 30 minutes remaining to participate.) [Maureen] OK [Martha] ok [Geraldine] ok [Karine] alright [Deb22] ok MEntity: In response to Deb regarding Mandalas: yes, this would be included in our explanation that symbols are counterparts/anchors for healing. In response to Maureen about hand-on healing and length of effect: We would have to say that it is often wise to consider healing as a matter of "treatment," rather than as a form of miracle. This means that, in most cases, healing is a process, not a product. Each recipient would require different different numbers of sessions, and different degrees of focus for the healing. This is something that would be determined based upon the needs of the individual. In response to Deb regarding the 9 Needs: to the degree that one's Needs are met is a fairly accurate degree to which the bodies are healthy. The less one satisfies his Needs, the more one will degenerate in relation to that Need, depending on how one has prioritized that need and its necessity to satisfy. Though the different Needs could correlate to the different Bodies, it is more accurate to say that for EACH Body the 9 Needs MUST BE SATISFIED to some degree for that Body to be healthy. So, for instance, the Emotional Body will have its Tier of 3 Primary Needs to satisfy, but will still need all 9 to be healthy. In response to Karine about the body's death being a rejection of Essence: No, the Physical Body's death is not always about the "rejection" of Essence, but it is always a result of Essence withdrawing or being blocked from the Body. Death or the Turning Point of any Body is motivated by either Transmutation or Desperation. Therefore, when the Physical Body dies, it can be from the positive morphing into another step of its evolution, or from desperation that might lead to something like suicide. Of course, we can elaborate upon all of our responses as necessary, but we will now speak about the "how to" part of our exchange with you. If any of you can look at any part of your life as represented by the Bodies (Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual) and have found yourselves stating that "something has GOT to change," then you may be in need of a Turning Point. If you are in need of a Turning Point, then it will either happen as a result of Desperation as that particular level of life, or Body, is threatened or dies, or you can choose to generate that Turning Point on your own, and on your own terms. The reason most fragments rely on Desperation to generate a Turning Point is because it is "easier" in that it feels as if it is something that happens TO you, rather than FROM you. And therein lies the difference: consciously choosing/creating a Turning Point means that is must come FROM you, not TO you. One does NOT need to be near death, or dead, in that Body in order to generate a Turning Point. When one is consciously creating a Turning Point, it is not dependent on which Body is near death, but can be based upon your Overleaves and the inherent strength and weaknesses of your own design. When a Turning Point is generated, either consciously or unconsciously, it is a profound redirection of DOING, BEING, HAVING, or KNOWING. These correlate to the Axes of the Overleaves. DOING=Action BEING=Inspiration HAVING=Expression KNOWING=Assimilation If one might choose to consciously create a Turning Point, then one might look at his or her Overleaves and see which Axis is lacking the most emphasis. This would be your first clue or step in generating your Turning Point. For instance, if one is not a King or Warrior, and does not have Submission/Dominance, Perseverance, Aggression, Cynic, Realist, Moving Centering, or a Mars/Venus Body Type, then it might mean that you would most benefit from DOING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. If you are lacking in the Inspiration Overleaves, it might mean that you would benefit most from starting to BE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Expression Overleaves might mean it would benefit you to HAVE SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. Lack of Assimilation might mean KNOWING SOMETHING PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT. DOING something different is probably the most obvious in terms of what one can do to generate a Turning Point. BEING something different would mean profoundly changing the dynamics of your behavior to reflect what it is that inspires you. BE THAT. HAVING something different would mean profoundly changing what it is that you take/receive from the world around you. KNOWING something different would mean profoundly changing how you interpret your experiences. Of course, no Turning Point can be completed without ALL of those being addressed: Doing, Being, Having, and Knowing. But your Overleaves can help you to see where you might need to start, first. The fact may be that your true Turning Point would come when you reach the KNOWING part of the equation, even if you start with the DOING part. So keep this in mind when you begin your steps. Based on what we have just shared, do each of you understand your Overleaves enough to see what might be your own first step in a Turning Point, if you chose to consciously create one? [LisaC] yes; mine would be Doing [Martha] I think so (Seeing as how I have almost NO action emphasis) [Karine] mine would be doing, too MEntity: And the rest of you? [Geraldine] I think everything hinges on "how I interpret" things [Maureen] I have a mix [Karine] Should one also take a look at what overleaves they are sliding to? (if some of them are on the neutral axis) MEntity: Karine, no, the primary Overleaf should be the primary means for determining this, but we can say that the "sliding" can help to show what area might be a next step in the process. [Karine] ok [Deb22] I did what I always do, DO, but now that I have done; I am BEING. Where am I in my bodies' resurrections? [Geraldine] I'm a little curious how one would DO before one KNOWS? [Martha] I know I need to do something different, but I don't know what it is [Maureen] I walked on "Fire" before I knew MEntity: As we said, all parts of the process will have to be addressed for a complete Turning Point, but a first step is always necessary. In the case where DOING may be addressed before KNOWING, it would mean that it is obvious that certain actions are generating certain results, which would either mean DOING something else more specific to the desired results, or the halting of the Doing that is causing the undesirable results. The reason this might work better for those lacking Action Overleaves is because those Personalities rarely "Know" something (as in, being able to interpret things differently) until they DO something that breaks a pattern. It is not necessary for one to "know" what to do differently, but to DO something profoundly different is the key. This may be as obvious as doing the opposite of what you would normally do, or just doing something "different" for a change, as in taking a random trip, or breaking out in dance in the moment. Keep in mind that for each of these, they are a spectrum: Doing/Not Doing; Being/Not Being; etc. Sometimes the profundity is in the NOT. One way to keep yourself "on your toes" regarding your starting point of Transformation is to mark your more familiar moment with "Maybe I'm Wrong." For instance, "I have to do it this way because my situation demands that I do it this way." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I know it means this because it's obvious that it means this." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I want this and need this because I've earned it and deserve it!" "But maybe I'm wrong about that." "I am a big loser." "But maybe I'm wrong about that." If you find that you are frustrated with your direction on any level, it will truly help you to consider that you may be wrong. Suggesting this to yourself can help you to spark your creativity in finding other solutions and directions. Keep in mind that a consciously-created Turning Point is a slower process and one that requires your active participation. Putting a coin of effort into the slot of Doing will not immediately generate a jackpot of success from Being, Having, and Knowing. Your sequence of steps is just a suggestion, and we have already pointed out where to start, but where you will end is often suggested by the Axis where your Overleaves are most concentrated. [Martha] I have been very frustrated lately, wanting to DO something but not knowing what — this should help MEntity: A final thought for you consider is that the force that will keep each step flowing into the next, and generating results that will lead to Transmutation, is FOLLOW-THROUGH. [Geraldine] damn -- but what if I have a CF of procrastination? [Martha] (you're gonna knock Troy out of trance) [Geraldine] (just trying to make Michael laugh) MEntity: There is no Chief Feature of Procrastination, but the humor is not lost on us: we would suggest in response to this that if one is plagued by Procrastination, then one actively create a structure or relationship of Accountability. Accountability is the only solution for Procrastination. With all of this background information, and insight into your Overleaves as a tool for change, we think each of you can set in motion your own Turning Point, if you choose to do so. [Karine] how long does it take to create a successful Turning Point? a few months/years? does it depend on the situation? [Deb22] My bodies — the emotional, the spiritual, the intellectual are experiencing profound changes since my trip to SE Asia. I have the momentum but it is of a different texture. Exciting, but scary. Stillness versus movement. Any suggestions that can help? MEntity: We will respond to these final two questions, but must conclude after that. Karine, the length of time it takes is always relative to the effort, and the magnitude of redirection that is sought. If one wants to take better care of her body so that it moves into a natural state of health, then that can take effect almost immediately; but if one would like to redirect from a career of law enforcement to a career in ballet, it might take more time and commitment. Deb, our best response to your question is to suggest that you now LISTEN TO YOURSELF. That is key in your sustaining your momentum. Listen. And, of course, Follow Through. We must conclude here. If further, more intimate discussion is required, we suggest arranging a follow up discussion/chat within the month that may help. Good day to each of you. Goodbye.
Michael Speaks: Healing and Healers May 8, 2011 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here now. We can begin on the subject of Healing & Healers. We will, first, define "Healing" and "Healers." We will define Healing as "a return to, extraction of, or an imposition of Order from Chaos" and Healer as "that which, or those whom, facilitate the return to, extraction of, or imposition of Order from Chaos." Wounding, however it manifests, is Chaos, or at least seeming Chaos. There are really only 7 ways in which a Body can die, or be wounded. These 7 ways can overlap, and some may be able to refine these to a greater degree than we have through this channel, but those 7 Basic Ways of Wounding/Dying would be: Illness, Poisoning, Impact, Impaling, Suffocation, Starvation/Dehydration, and Natural/Shutdown. Each of these can bring wounding or death, and can be brought to any Body, including the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and "Spiritual" Bodies. Some of the terms would not be so literal in terms of the less-tangible Bodies, but are relevant terms. Death and Wounding are parts of the experience of the Higher Moving Center, which is the spectrum between Chaos and Beauty. Beauty is simply the recognition of patterns versus the lack of recognition of patterns that is Chaos. We use the term "recognition" because often the difference between Chaos and Beauty is a matter of recognition, or perception, and is a relative state. There are those who "suffer" wounding in ways that "should" bring about a great deal of Chaos, but those individuals return to, extract from, or impose a new order from the chaos in a way that is HEALING. There are those who have "no reason" to suffer and have lost all recognition of order, or beauty, in the life, and these individuals can truly be wounded. And so it is that the differences between Wounding and Healing are as "simple" as the differences between Chaos and Beauty. And so it is that the difference between Wounding and Death are the differences between Chaos and Beauty, as well. Wounding is Chaos. Death is Order/Beauty. Every Personality and Lifetime will explore the spectrum between Order and Chaos, but will always end in Order as a means for Review in the afterlife, and Death is that process of returning everything back to Order, or Beauty. Order can also be returned within the life through HEALING, and since not everyone wants to die as a means to regain Order, there is a necessity for HEALERS. This necessity is vital enough that it is one of the 12 Primary Support Positions within any Circle of Support. This means that every single fragment has at least one Healer accessible at all times in every incarnation and beyond. This may seem a rather sweeping generalization as there are many who suffer without apparent access to healing, but this apparent lack of access is a result of complications that are often unnecessary and are products of choice. A society can become rather powerful in imprinting various individuals to only accept the standardized methods and providers of Healing, which may or may not have helped. The Healing that a fragment may require is not always as obvious as his or her wounding. But the Healer and Healing that a fragment most-requires is ALWAYS accessible in some way. The first key in accessing that is through the realization of the fact that no Healer or Healing can actually HEAL; they can only facillitate Healing and Healing Methods. The only one who can ever truly heal you, is you. The individual can always override a Healer and Healing. However, the necessity for Healers is because often the first step to True Healing is in the ASKING FOR HELP. Wounding, or the plunge into Chaos within a lifetime, is a vital part of the experience of living because it is one of the few states or experiences that can be explored that provokes the Universal Truth of Oneness, or in simpler terms, the fact that you are not alone. Ever. Even if the Wounding leads to Death, or if someone's asking for help is still met with Death, the profound validity of that Oneness and the necessity for reaching out, is often registered in ways that are never lost by Essence. The 7 Ways to Die, or 7 Methods of Wounding, correspond to the Axes in ways that can often shed light for Healing and for Healers. Illness and Poisoning are Inspirational-based Woundings/Deaths. Impaling/Impact are Action-based Wounding/Deaths. Suffocation/Starvation are Expression-based Woundings/Deaths; and Shutting Down/Natural methods are Assimilative. Some of these are obvious, and some may not be so clear, and while we offer up these correlations, we will not say that they are rules or static associations. For example, we can say that MOST Illnesses or intaking of Poisons are MOSTLY related to issues of Self-Esteem, which are extensions of the Chief Features of Self-deprecation and Arrogance. This kind of statement can be explored in a multitude of ways. The immune system is directly connected to Self-Esteem, and so it goes that any fluctuation in Self-Esteem is a fluctuation in Immunity. Self-deprecation is almost always at the core of Illness. The toxins that one takes in without question or concern through his or her eating of poor diet, might be an example of Arrogance at the core of slow Poisoning of the body. And so on... There are only 4 ways through which any of these 7 Methods of Wounding/Death can be implemented: Suicide, Homicide, Accident, and Natural, each corresponding to an Axis; Inspirational, Action, Expression, and Assimilative, respectively. Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers. And there are only ever 3 methods of Healing: through Truth, Love, or Energy. Facilitating Order within the Chaos of the Truth, Love, or Energy of an individual. This means that Healers range far beyond those who actively practice Healing, or those who specifically work with the various Bodies. In fact, every single one of you are Healers in at least one other Fragment's Circle of Support in every life. If this were not so, then Healers and Healing would not be so accessible to every fragment. One does not have to identify with being a "healer" to be a Healer. If you help to bring Order to someone's Chaos, you are a Healer. If you help someone to experience, comprehend, see, feel, or hear the Beauty that is inherent in any part of his or her life, you are a Healer. Anyone who can help others to bring Order to the Truth, Love, or Energy in someone's life, is a Healer. Whether this is done actively and consciously, or passively and unconsciously, does not matter. And so it is that each of you will always be in a position to HEAL YOUR OWN LIFE, which by definition simply means to bring Beauty to the Chaos of it, whether this be in Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual form. Bringing Beauty or Order to any part of your life helps to bring that Healing into every Body you are. Often, for instance, the Chaos that is in your Physical Body can only be masked by the treatments offered for the symptoms that this Body exhibits, but the True Healing would come from the Beauty/Order that is brought to your Emotional Body/Life. Much of what passes for Healing is only Treatment. Treatment is necessary, and is not a "bad thing," but it is not Healing. Understanding the various correlations above, and the 3 methods of Healing as they correlate to Wounding, can also shed light on the requirements for True Healing. For instance, those who are Wounded by Illness or Posioning usually require True Love for True Healing. Those who are wounded by Impaling or Impact often require True Order for True Healing; those who are wounded by Suffocation/Starvation often require The Truth for for True Healing. Keep in mind that there is a limitation on language here that can make some of these correlations seem confusing, so we encourage creative understanding here so that the terms are not always literal. For instance, it might sound strange that Impaling or Impact requires True Order/Beauty, but if you think of these Wounding correlations as extensions of Martyrdom and Impatience, both rooted in fears of losing Control, you might see why any healing would require a shift in understanding the nature of Beauty and Order. A fragment who is thrown through a windsheild because of his Impatience might be an example. A fragment who is rendered lifeless because of the "impaling" of her heart by the rejection of a loved one might be another example. Being Wounded and Being Healed are MESSY. There is no hard, clean, perfect correlation, and there is often a great deal of overlapping of correlations, so we offer these insights only as guidelines for those who explore Healing, or need Healing. ALL Wounding is a progression that begins INTELLECTUALLY, then EMOTIONALLY, and then PHYSICALLY. This means that if Wounding has come to the level of Physicality, it is almost assured that there is Wounding "up through" the Emotions and Intellect. When we say "All wounding," we mean ALL. Even "Accidents." This does not mean that Wounding is a fault of the Wounded, but it is often a result of a path of choices, internally and externally, that led to the state that allowed for, or created, the Wounding. Even in cases of Homicide. Again, this is not a matter of fault or choices made on obvious levels, but there is something to the fact that two people can be in the same place at the same time doing the same things and only one is Wounded. [liiona24] Please comment on the validity Of the Reconnection As brought forth by Eric Pearl as " new" Healing energy There is no "new" healing energy. All Healing is essentially the return of Order from Chaos, however that is described or packaged, tangibly or intangibly. There are many illnesses in modern times that are susceptible to "miracles" or "energy healing" because the illness never truly existed in the dimension from which it was diagnosed, such as AIDS, Cancers, several other chronic issues. This is not to say that there are no such things as collapses of immune systems, or Cancers, or other chronic issues, but those categories have a percentage of diagnoses that are valid diagnoses at one point, but because the "illness" is not Physically-rooted, the return of Order to the Emotions, or Intellect, can "cure" the "illness." Often, the return of Order to the Intellect and Emotion does not require Physical Healing, or Treatment, but a simple shift in beliefs or feelings. Energetic Healing can ONLY ever return order to the Intellect or Emotion, which may then result in being reflected Physically, of course. When we say "Energetic" here, we refer to those practices that would not require Physical contact in any way. In short, to clarify with Marion: we think the idea of "The Reconnection" is more likely a "Repackaging" of ideals and energies that have always been available. This is not to say that the repackaging is "bad," because even our own teaching requires repackaging for different students with different capacities for hearing us. [Nicholas] When Dr. Pearl and others refer to "new" healing, could they be referring to the validity that as a collective, we are opening up to more possibilities of healing as a reflection of the shift to Mature Soul paradigm? In response to Nicholas: we cannot speak on the behalf of the fragment who is known as "Dr. Pearl," or his associates, but we can say that a Mature-based Paradigm would have far more validity to the concept of "Energetic" healing, since most Emotional and Intellectual Wounding would also be considered as valid. In a Young-based paradigm, most Healing is only considered valid on the levels of the tangible. It is only in recent years, relatively speaking, that the concept of Therapy was considered something of validity."Therapy," in terms of Psychologists, Pscyho-, etc. [TimW] Can you please elaborate a little more on what you said, "Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers"? Possibly a couple of examples with relation to physical "energetic" healing (if time permits)? For example, Tim, those who are wounded from attempted Homicide would clearly benefit from healing that focuses on the Action Axis, so that a sense of Order for that individual's Time or Space is vital, or put another way: that the Martyrom and Impatience is addressed. Those who suffer from the wounding of attempted Homicides do well to have had their sense of Control brought into focus for their lives in some way, because Homicide, or Impaling/Impact, on a Body CAN throw the entire life into absolute lack of control. For those who are wounded by the methods of Suicide, it is vital that Inspiration is brought back into his or her life. Suicides are usually the result of Inspirational elements collapsing into Chaos, so a return to Order in that context can help bring about True Healing. We realize that "Suicide" is also the Negative Pole of Self-destruction, which is an Expression Axis Chief Feature, but this is another example of Context. In the context of Methods for implementing Wounding, Suicide correlates to Inspiration. In the context of Results of Fear, Suicide correlates to Expression. For those who are Wounded by Accidents, there is a necessity for those fragments to understand "the message" in the "Accident," as all Accidents are Expressions, or Messages. In fact, there are no "accidents," but it is a valid category for understanding how Wounding is implemented, and Accidents equal Messages. Healers, then, would help that fragment to understand what "lesson" or "message" might have been in the accident. [Diane_H] Can you explain the difference between Intellectual and Emotional healing? Are they often intertwined? Intellectual Healing would require the Order returned to the Intellect, or the Intellectual Center to return to the Positive Pole of INSIGHT. This is usually a matter of returning the fragment to a state of honesty about his or her life in a way that brings that Insight, instead of a chronic state of REASON. A chronic state of Reason will bring the Intellect into a constant state of overdrive, looking for patterns that are not there, or creating patterns that are not valid, forcing justifications, reasons, explanations for that which is not understood. This, then, can lead to affect the Emotional Center in a way that pulls the Emotions into a chronic state of Negative Pole, which is Sentimentality. Sentimentality is the confusion and blurring between Symbols and Meanings, and when Symbols and Meanings become confused, Beliefs are generated. And so the Intellect that forced a false pattern then begins to believe it in the Emotions. A simplistic example would be in one who might Think that someone's intentions were to hurt her, and so begins to believe that this person did hurt her, because she can feel that hurt. But the truth will have been that she forced an explanation or a reason for someone else's choices that she did not like, and then the person who symbolized "Love" for her is gone, so that means "love" is also gone, and now she has become Intellectually and Emotionally wounded. To bring Healing to her Emotionally, she will have to regain the Order that allows for a person to symbolize Love, but does not confuse the conduit of Love for Love, itself. [Diane_H] So it could be said that Intellectual wounding comes from one's interpretation of symbols, and Emotional wounding is the emotion that result from it? If the Healing is not addressed Intellectually or Emotionally, it can then move into Physicality, and she will either open up to, or create a path to, Homicide, Suicide, Accident, or Natural methods of implementing one of the 7 Woundings. Yes, Diane, that could be one way of describing a pattern, though we might clarify the statement to read: Intellectual Wounding can come from False or Forced Interpretation, and Emotional Wounding is the Belief/Feelings that support in that Falsehood or Forced Interpretation. [Kathryn41] I assume that 'wounding' can also be a 'choice' for a life experience, but how often does the choice to experience one type of wounding lead to a collateral type of wounding, for example, a consequence of choosing a body type that allows for the chosen wounding to occur but experiencing an additional injury/illness that came along because of that body type? We will say here that it is rare that Wounding is CHOSEN, though sometimes, it is. What is a more accurate way to understand the nature of Choice, in this regard, is that Wounding is often a RESULT of Choices. [Kathryn41] the example I can use is a child with type 1 diabetes - born with the condition - a chosen condition more easily manifested in lunar body and then later in life experiencing another type of injury for which the lunar body is especially susceptible A Body Type is chosen that may have predispositions to certain health issues or deformities, but it was not necessarily the health issues or deformities that were chosen, but that they were hooked in to other choices that were more important as priorities. For instance, an Essence may have thought it was a great idea, or a great method for balancing Karma, to choose a Body Type that may lend itself to a sort of dependency that allowed for kindness, patience, and Love to come into the experiences of the Personality, from within and without. Often these "great ideas" go in all kinds of directions once the life is in motion, but that is part of the Chaos and Beauty that is inherent in any life, even in the most-perfect of body with the most-perfect of plans and Karma-free life. [Oscar] What would those wounded by natural/shutting down need for True Healing, or is there no healing possible since it's natural? UNDERSTANDING. That is all. Those who are Wounded by Natural Causes/Shutting Down can often do best with a simple bit of comfort in Wisdom shared with him or her or from him or her. In terms of Wounding/Dying, Natural Causes/Shutting Down is about bringing comprehension to the moment about the life before exiting, and this can show up as the life "flashing before their eyes," or from loved ones around the bed side, etc. In terms of Wounding/Dying, it might even be better understood as "Gratitude" that is a part of the Healing. In terms of Implementation, with something like a Natural Disaster which may bring Impact, Impaling, Illness, Poison, etc, it can still be helpful for those who experienced that Implementation to grasp the nature of Nature, so that it is not seen as personal. Though it will always be the most-helpful to focus on the actual Method of Wounding, for Healing purposes. [VLS] Is there any healing that can be done with the dying involving touch, if so can you advise the best approach-thank you ALL Physical forms of Healing affect Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies, whereas Emotional Healing can only affect Emotional and Intellectual Bodies, and Intellectual Healing is limited to Intellectual Bodies. This is because the denser the form of Healing, the more it can be accessed by the subtler Bodies. This is not to say that Emotional Healing cannot bring about Physical Healing, but it would not be direct. Physical Healing, or rather, having a Physical Medium for Healing, can bring about multiple layers of Energy for use in the multiple bodies. For instance, your Touch can bring with it the Comfort that is of the Physical Level of Healing, the Affection that is the Emotional Level of Healing, and the Permission that is the Intellectual Level of Healing. We are speaking to you about a very specific kind of Touch that you bring, and not all Touch would bring that same kind of Healing. A simple resting of the hand on the person who is exiting is enough, and in some cases, the moving of the energy of the bodies through use of swirls and various contact points, can be the form that is used. We will clarify here that all Bodies are interconnected in many ways, so the Healing that is offered without Physicality does not mean it will not help the Physical Bodies. And not all Physical contact is a form of Healing, but is often forms of Treatment. For instance, the Emergency Room of a Hospital is mostly-filled with Treatments, not Healing. Healing often comes later. [DavidB] Someone asked me to pose this question: "What makes one healer more effective than another?" RESONANCE. There is no Healing between a Healer and The Wounded without Resonance. This is why even the most "whackadoodle" of false healers can bring about such "miracles" (which is a term to describe false or misunderstood forms of Beauty from Chaos) because there is Resonance between the two fragments. And it is why the consistency of even the most powerful Healers cannot facilitate Healing for everyone, because there must be Resonance. Resonance can only come through Empathy, which is built from Experience, which may or may not always come from within the current lifetime. In other words, one can only truly facilitate Healing for that which he or she has already healed within himself or herself, even if that healing came in other lives. We know this is a rather broad topic, but we think we have covered enough tonight for some provocation of thought and exploration that may shed insight into the experience of Healing and Wounding. We will conclude here. Goodnight to each of you. Goodbye.
Michael Speaks Live Psychic Hygiene October 8, 2011 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We can begin with discussion about the topic suggested: "Psychic Hygiene" For most fragments, the physical plane is met with some amount of awareness brought to the importance of Physical and, eventually, Spiritual Hygiene, or maintenance, if you will. Depending on the culture, sometimes one is emphasized over another, or both are emphasized, but these two "bodies" are often considered as priorities, either together or separately. Physical hygiene is fairly clearly understood as a necessity in modern culture and civilizations, and while the methods and motivations may differ across those, the effects are still beneficial. Spiritual Hygiene begins to be considered as a result of survival or prosperity. Rituals and practices come into play as a plea in times of struggle, or as a means to explore in times of prosperity. While the variations in Physical methods and motivations for hygiene tend to have the same effects and benefits, the rituals and practices for Spiritual Hygiene do not. Spiritual Rituals and practices tend to be geared toward the beliefs of the individual, religion, or culture of the time, and so do not act as a means of actual Hygiene, but more as a means of manipulation. Manipulation is not a "bad thing" in itself, but there are many who feel that their Spiritual practices and rituals are quite noble and beneficial, when actually they are often entirely geared toward the manipulation of favors, alleviation of fears, or the fulfillment of duties. The reason the Physical Hygiene can be rather consistent in its benefit, while Spiritual Hygiene can be rather inconsistent in effect is because one has immediate impact, and the other does not. Furthermore, the entire concept of "spirituality" is misunderstood as a body in and of itself, or a realm, or a dimension, etc, when it is not. Therefore, the practices and rituals put in place to directly benefit one's "Spirituality" is often lost as if thrown into a black hole of relevance. "Spirituality," or the Spiritual Body, is a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, and those parts are the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. The Spiritual Body does not exist without those inclusions. So if one dismisses the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies for the sake of aiming for some sort of "Spiritual" ascension, acceptance, acceleration, advancement, etc, one is completely missing the point, and has not come to understand the nature of Spirituality. Spirituality is a concept much like that of Nature. Nature is something that cannot exist without all of the forms that make up what is understood as "Nature." To separate out the concept of Nature from its very nature would be absurd. And so it is that one's Spiritual practices and rituals are useless if they do not include or understand the necessity of inclusion of the hygiene for the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. Naturally, then, the aim for Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Hygiene automatically benefits "Spirit," or "Spirituality." This is what we mean by "Psychic" Hygiene: the inclusion of the less-tangible aspects that make up your more intimate bodies; those of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual. Our use of "psychic" may differ a bit from the general definition of the word, but we mean it in the sense of the inclusion of your psyche, or your consciousness, in relation to these Bodies. For instance: most of you know how to bathe your own bodies. This is a task that most of you do weekly, if not daily, in some form, with some of you doing so more thoroughly than others, but doing so, nonetheless. However, often or well you clean your body, we can say with some amount of confidence that most of you do not do so with a kind, thoughtful, loving hand in the process. A routine hand, yes. A thorough hand, yes. A skilled hand, yes. A dutiful hand, yes. And this cleans your Physical Body, but it does nothing for the psychic levels of that Body. By "psychic levels," we mean that there is little consciousness present or involved. All of our suggestions today will be rather simple. They should be rather easy to implement into your daily lives. They are not intended to be a distraction, but a support to your days. Our first suggestion, then, for the Physical Body is to BATHE YOURSELVES AS IF YOU CARE. It is that simple. This is not necessary every time you bathe yourself, but once out of every 4 times you may bathe yourself, include your capacity to CARE in the process. Bring some loving to your body; some appreciation, gratitude, affection. Be there for you on more than a dutiful or routine level. Truly be present in that body you are taking time to clean. However close you may be to somebody else, you will never be as close to any other body than your own. Ever. Bringing that simple shift in awareness to your bathing process is more meaningful to "spirit" and to you than any spiritual practice or ritual could ever be. The Emotional Body is the next-most tangible of all of you Bodies. This is not the case for every person, but for most. If you feel that your Intellectual Body is far more tangible than your Emotional Body, it is not a matter of fact, but a matter of emphasis that you think this is so. Technically, the Emotional Body is denser than the Intellectual Body, and then the Emotional springs from that. Because the Physical Body is so immediately tangible, and the "Spiritual" is of such an aspiration to so many, the Emotional and Intellectual Bodies are the most neglected and abused bodies on the planet. The hygiene of your Emotional Bodies can most often be helped through the use of SOUND. In particular, Tones, or music. Emotional hygiene could do well to take place at least once a month, but as often as you would like. There is a difference between escaping into music or sound, and harnessing it for hygiene. Much like there is a difference between going swimming, and taking a bath or shower. Exploring the tones associated with Chakras, either as vocal expressions or instrumental expressions, is helpful in putting into practice Emotional Hygiene. There is validity to the practice of vocalizing the "all-inclusive sound" of Om. When we say that the Emotional Body can benefit from SOUND, we mean all forms and media of sound, including speaking kind and comforting words to yourself, affirmations, singing spontaneously. The Emotional Body is where the experience of Time is processed, and music/sound is a processing of Time that helps to clean, heal, support, and care for the Emotional Body. For those who are Emotionally-Centered, it may be a regular event to submerge oneself into music or sound, because when one is using that Center as a means for navigating the entire life, it requires far more maintenance and healing, which is why Emotionally-Centered Personalities do tend to develop a far more intimate relationship to music than other Centerings. This is not to say that Moving or Intellectual Centering does not develop relationships to music and sound, but that it is a different relationship, and not one that is born of such necessity as those who are Emotionally Centered. We can explore those relationships in another session. So for the Emotional Bodies, a regular form of hygiene to bring to your every month, or more, is to listen to Chakra-based Toning, speaking kindly to yourself, singing to yourself, vocalizing tones that feel good, etc. And all with an awareness present. For the Intellectual Body, hygiene could do well to be in place as often as one bathes, if not more. The Hygiene of your Intellectual Body can most often be helped through the use of VISUALIZATIONS. There are two important levels of hygiene to consider in this case: One is that every fragment would do well to gift himself with a break from thinking, every day. This is not the same thing as being stupid. Every day, or at least for a few moments as one bathes or showers, the practice of visualizing "nothing" can truly bring some relief to the Intellect. By "nothing," we mean that the focus is on as much space as possible, an openness, such as floating, or flying, being in the sky, among clouds, etc. [Question] Doesn't that require intellectual processes to generate the visualization though? [MEntity] Of course it does. You cannot bathe your Physical Body without using your hands, either. The point is not to escape these Bodies, but to give them gifts, benefits, pleasure, freedom, support. The more one uses these bodies to benefit themselves, instead of being entirely weighted by the processes of living a life, the more those processes of living the life are met with brilliant energy, clarity, enthusiasm, and joy. In other words, your Bodies are not slaves to the lifetime. They are curious, sensitive, fragile, wondrous dimensions of you that are here to explore, not just to endure. The other level of hygiene for this body would come in the form of decording. This is something that can be practiced monthly, or even yearly. This is the practice of using your imagination and visualization to "see" your own back where energetic cords have attached themselves between you and those with whom you are not consciously or relevantly attached. Cording is the process of linking one's Chakras to another for the sake of bonding or binding. When bonding happens, it is usually a mutual experience and these cords are connected to the front of your body, chakras. When binding happens, it is not usually mutual, though allowed, and these cords are connected to the back of the body. All of these terms are not so literal, but they are accurate enough to the reality of those connections that we can use them here. Decording, then, is the use of the imagination to pull or wipe those cords off of your back. Of course, this is all symbolic, but it works when the visualization is applied. We will have to use another chat to elaborate upon the dynamics of Cording, but to begin this practice can often bring sudden freeing of energy and well-being, not only to the Intellect, but to the denser bodies, as well. It may also bring a surprise visit or contact from those who are binded to you in the back, because when those drop, the person who originated the bind senses this drop between you and may suddenly want to contact you, if he or she can. Another daily practice for Intellectual Hygiene would be to put at least one beautiful thing in your most inhabited space so that you can see it, and allow it to remind you to slow the mind, to take in the view, to allow room for your thoughts to come and go, rather than build up. As the Emotional Body processes Time, the Intellectual Body processes Space. As Music/sound is a means of processing Time, so is Visualization a means of processing Space. We must conclude here for today, but can continue this discussion in future exchanges, or in the forum thread where this transcript may be posted. We think that what we have shared today may be of help for bringing some personal sense of management over one's energy and health of his or her bodies, and to help bring a bit more "spirit" to one's Spiritual Body. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
