  1. MICHAEL SPEAKS - June 14, 2009 - OPEN FLOOR [Michael Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here now. [QUESTION] Michael. This may seem terribly "basic;" however, due to discussions amongst students, I've become confused about how the various Soul Age Levels apply to Essence's growth and development. When Essence first starts incarnating as an Infant soul, is it actually an Infant soul that then grows and develops as each level is achieved? In other words, do completing Internal Monads in positive pole, Soul Level, and Age, apply to Essence's development? Could you please clarify? [Michael Entity] We think we understand your question and will attempt to respond appropriately. What we would remind you of, first, is that what evolves is the ROLE in Essence. We realize that the terms "Essence" and "Role" are used interchangeably, and fairly so, but they are quite different in technical terms. Much like your Personality and Essence are truly "one," they are still not the same things, technically. For the sake of this response, we will use the terminology of Essence for the part of you that exists with or without a Role. We will use Role to refer to the specific medium through which Essence experiences itself in relation to other fragments sharing a similar agenda, and sharing an intent to be a part of the spiritual ecology of a particular system, such as Earth, all of its life forms, and more specifically, Human Sentience. The PERSONALITY experiences evolution within a single lifetime, from its Infancy to Death. Within that time frame, it goes through rites of passages relative to its physical and psychological age progression and our channels refer to those as Internal Monads. The ROLE also goes through stages that our channels refer to as Internal Monads, which is a different scale than that of the Personality. To help in clarifying this differentiation, we think it would be a good idea to refer to the Internal Monads of the Personality as "The Seven Rites of Passages" as a means to differentiate from the Seven Internal Monads of the Role. The Seven Rites of Passage are still, technically, Internal Monads, but specific to the Personality. Not all stages, or Rites of Passage during a life will be experienced or completed within a single lifetime because of physiological or psychological interruptions, limitations, and interferences. ROLE experiences evolution from its first physical lifetime through its last physical incarnation, even if by proxy (Transcendental or Infinite*). Role's evolution is measured by Internal Monads, as well, but these are relative to the progression through the Soul Levels that you find in the Soul Ages. The Role's evolution through each Level is dependent on each Personality's efforts to progress through its own Rites of Passages. The further a Personality can progress through its Rites of Passages in the positive poles, the further the Role is progressed through its own Internal Monads. The 7 Internal Monads for the Role are the 7 stages of EACH LEVEL of the Soul Ages. Since it can take several Personalities (incarnations) to finally get through the 7 Life Stages, both physiologically and psychologically, it goes that it also takes that many lifetimes for a Role to progress from one level to the next in a Soul Age. With this understanding, you could say that it takes 7 successful Rites of Passages to equate the 7 successful Internal Monads of the Role. The process for the 7 Rites of Passages takes place within the physiological and psychological boundaries of the Personality, whereas the 7 Internal Monads take place within the levels of Essence/Role and is built upon the processes of the Personality. [ADDITIONAL ELABORATION from TROY] There are a couple of ways this evolution happens: COMMON PROCESS (classic process) Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who is just starting the 5th Level. 5th Level Personality # 1 : lives to 12 years old; finishes the 2nd Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 2 : lives to 25 years old; finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 3 : lives to 50 years old: finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 4 : lives to 52 years old; finishes 3rd Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 5 : lives to 60 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 6 : lives to 45 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 7 : lives to 55 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 8 : lives to 72 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (negative pole) 5th Level Personality # 9 : lives to 65 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 10 lives to 25 years old; finishes 6th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 5th Level Personality # 11 lives to 17 years old; finishes 7th Rite of Passage (positive pole) 7 Rites of Passages Completed; 7 Internal Monads Completed = 5th LEVEL Completed NEXT LIFETIME = 6th Level; and a completely new cycle through the 7 Rites of Passage/7 Internal Monads as a process toward the next soul level/age. Notice that a "short" lifetime can still quickly build upon the collection of past Rites of Passage as a means to "quickly" move into the later Passages. It is often the case that if only the 6th and 7th are remaining, a child will generate a terminal illness early in the life, speeding the process of awareness of mortality and impending death as a means to sum up the Rites of Passages, Internal Monads, and Level. RARE or NON-Classic Process: In some lifetimes, it is of interest to the Older Soul to transit a Level WITHIN the lifetime. This is rare, but not so rare for Older Souls. When this happens, the lifetime is quite literally "two lifetimes in one." There are a multitude of reasons for choosing this process, and here's how it works: Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who decides to transit Soul Levels within a lifetime. Only the 6th and 7th Rites were not completed for the 5th Level, so rather than have a short life, or die when the 6th and 7th Rites are completed, the lifetime continues into a new cycle of Rites of Passages. When this happens, the Personality literally goes through a phase of deep awareness of its mortality and senses an impending "death." All Rites of Passages are physiological and psychological. We often think of these as relative to the physical age, but that just so happens to be a classic pattern. The actual Rites can happen at any physical age. It's the psychological levels that are the important dimensions. That's why someone can be stuck in the 3rd Rite of Passage, but be 80 years old. It's also why a 12 year old can be processing the 6th Rite of Passage. So when a person is transiting Soul Levels during a lifetime, it means they are also completing in the positive pole the 7th Rite of Passage. When that happens, the person undergoes a kind of psychological death (7th Rite), the Soul Level transit happens, and a psychological rebirth (1st Rite) happens, regardless of physical age. The following Rites of Passage will now add an interesting process to the lifetime as the person, regardless of physical age, now processes this rebirth, and then attempts the 2nd Rite of Mobility, the 3rd Rite of Independence, etc. as far as they can go with what years are left within the lifetime. Sometimes they only get through the first or second Rite, sometimes further. [END NOTE FROM TROY] [QUESTION] Does this mean that Essence can have multiple Roles incarnating -- what makes up Grand Cycles? [Michael Entity] With all of this being said, the ROLE starts as an "infant" because it is relative to its current cycle of exploration within a specific species, but the Spark who is Essence existed long before this current Role and species. There are other species and systems through which an Essence/Spark has already explored, from the initial choosing of a Role to its reunion with Tao. We refer to the entirety of this process as a Grand Cycle. Your Role does not change during one of these Grand Cycles, but once that Grand Cycle is completed, the Role is discarded, along with all of its dynamics, such as Frequency and Male/Female Energy Ratios, Essence Twins, Task Companions, Entities, Cadres, etc. and when a new Grand Cycle is chosen, all of those elements are chosen anew. [COMMENT] so, it's the Role that cycles off [Michael Entity] The Grand Cycle is to your Essence/Spark, what each Personality is to your Role. Most fragments within the Human Species have an average of 3 Grand Cycles. Most of our students, which is one Energy Ring, or 12 Cadres, share an average of 9 Grand Cycles. Essence does not evolve without the Role and the Role does not evolve without the Personality. Personality does not evolve without the 7 Rites of Passages. We realize we meandered through a response as a means to help provide context for our response. Did this answer you sufficiently for now? [COMMENT] Oh, indeed! Much more than I expected . . .everything clicked into place; thank you! [COMMENT] for me too!:) [COMMENT] Same here [COMMENT] wow; this is amazing good stuff - thank you [Michael Entity] In conclusion, the Essence/Spark DOES evolve, but it is on a different scale of measurement. There is a time when the Essence/Spark is an "infant," so to speak, but it inherently retains all of the qualities of Tao. The Essence/Spark's scale of evolution is of such a scale that the results would be difficult to comprehend. From what we understand, each Essence/Spark eventually runs its own universe, eventually fragmenting itself and continuing the spectacular creativity that is Tao, becoming its own "god," if you will. But this is not something one need concern oneself with as you consider how to pay your bills and get along with your loved ones. The number of Grand Cycles does have some effect on the way a Role will show up, even in its first Infant lifetime. Those with higher Grand Cycles can tend to seem much wiser than those with fewer Grand Cycles, which is why Entities and Cadres who share an average of Grand Cycles tend to incarnate quite tightly at first so that no one "sticks out." As the Role evolves, the Entities and Cadres "spread out" and are more capable of blending in with other fragments who may have more or less Grand Cycles. [COMMENT] Sometimes, I think we incarnate to escape the complexities of it all...we come here to stop and smell the roses so to speak [Michael Entity] We would agree, especially for those lifetimes having a Goal of Flow or Re-evaluation. Next question. [QUESTION] Back to basics 101 - I need a refresher on how to break the hold of the negative pole of Flow - Stagnation/Inertia. Would Michael offer some practical suggestions on dealing with this problem when it is hard just to do/start anything? I hope this is general enough - dealing with the negative pole of Flow. ( And yes, I see NCF playing a role in this as well, :) ) I think I'm stuck smelling the roses in only one place, hehehe [Michael Entity] One of the most effective ways of breaking Inertia is to surrender to it. This may seem counter to the intent, but one of the things that keeps a person locked in Inertia is the sense of "running in place," or "doing a lot of nothing." When one can surrender to the gravity that seems to keep one in place, the footing can be regained, or the sense of productivity and fulfillment can be regained. The point of having a Goal of Flow is to learn how to navigate within the currents that are natural to the life, and often those currents swirl, so to speak, or slow, or eddy. [COMMENT] . . . or get stuck on the rocks, hehe [Michael Entity] One of the greatest challenges for those in Flow is to overcome the pressure to show evidence and justification for their presence. [COMMENT] and NCF gets you on that part, for sure [COMMENT] oh boy do I get that... [COMMENT] me too [COMMENT] same here [COMMENT] It certainly affected me and I'm not in Flow [COMMENT] definitely me too [Michael Entity] When a fragment chooses Flow as a Goal, it is because there is an interest in the nuances and subtleties of existence and this increases the sensitivity of the Personality. [COMMENT] a big Ah [COMMENT] I second that! [COMMENT] So, smell that rose until it blackens, shrivels, and dries :) [COMMENT] .... and then make potpourri! [COMMENT] hehehe [COMMENT] yes! [COMMENT] lol [Michael Entity] This sensitivity is heightened so as to develop an intuitive grasp of the life and its natural flow, much like one might have when navigating a boat, skateboard, or other vehicle of momentum that pulls all of the senses together to calculate navigation without having to over analyze. [COMMENT] I understand this completely [COMMENT] hmm, maybe why this is why I think well while driving, lol; driving alone that is [COMMENT] I absolutely understand the idea of subtle navigation [Michael Entity] However, this sensitivity then leads to an awareness of all of the subtleties of one's "insides," so to speak, so all of the areas within oneself that are not flowing freely are felt, too. [COMMENT] perhaps that is part of the problem - a feeling that the natural flow is being blocked and feeling uncomfortable with that and wanting to 'flow' again - and not quite seeing how to get back there. [Michael Entity] Often, the Personality will turn to external environments for the solution to the lack of freedom within. [COMMENT] hence the inertia... [Michael Entity] Flowing externally and can help the flow, internally, but often it can take internal adjustments, as well. [COMMENT] ok [COMMENT] empty the well - so; it can be refilled [Michael Entity] Both the internal and external are connected, and one can help the other, but when one is neglected over the other, it can cause the sense of inertia, no matter how productive and free the life can seem in one area over the other. One of the most effective ways we've seen our students understand the concept of FLOW is to set alongside it the concept of PERMISSION. [COMMENT] ah to allow the flow...... [Michael Entity] When one feels the life is not flowing, internally or externally, it can help to ask where one has limited his or her sense of Permission. And often that permission is the barrier to the very simple and freeing experience of Relaxation. To relax. To embrace. To allow. To Be. Without apology or proof. [COMMENT] oh geeze, yes [COMMENT] thank you! [Michael Entity] We have more to say about this, especially in terms of how the negative pole can be shifted by using the positive pole of the other Goals, but we will elaborate on that in other sessions. Next Question [COMMENT] thank you very much, Michael [COMMENT] that was excellent; thank you :) [COMMENT] it was very freeing for me [COMMENT] quite excellent! :) [COMMENT] :heart: it [COMMENT] Today is a joy! [QUESTION] Hello Michael, my question has to do with choosing overleaves. In reviewing [between lives] does the fragment look over the whole series of incarnations to decide, or find a particular lifetime where something got missed... could you give me an example of how I chose this life's overleaves? [Michael Entity] There are basically three ways a fragment will choose its Overleaves: Randomly, Out of Curiosity, and Through Calculation. Earliest Personalities of the Infant Soul are a product of Randomness, with "random" simply meaning that no intent or calculation was involved in the choice, though choice was still involved. Late Baby through Early Mature bring Personalities that are products of Curiosity, meaning that there is more involved in the choice of Overleaves, but often with an "I wonder what would happen if..." kind of perspective. Mid Mature through Late Old can bring the most calculated Personalities, as the intent for final comprehension, integration, and commitment to the path for that fragment ensues. 7th Level Old is a free-for-all, which is why many who are truly 7th Level Old do not appear to be Old at all, since the Personalities are not of those you would presume to be so wise. But that is a perk of "getting older," in that one is no longer constrained by fears, obligations, ties, etc. and one can finally play with lifetimes in a way that are thoroughly understood as safe. [COMMENT] the perks of Old Age.....:) [Michael Entity] Some of the oldest souls on your planet are simply annoying and bring nothing of obvious value to society or to their social circles. Some of the "wisest," most spiritual and grounded of souls on your planet are far younger in soul age than one might presume, but many of these guru-like fragments are caught in the maya of what "wise" should look like, and play the role quite well. [COMMENT] I have always felt I planned all this since I was a kid [Michael Entity] The mapping of a lifetime, and the adherence to that map, vary from fragment to fragment, Personality to Personality. It would be accurate to say that you are of the more calculated choice in Overleaves and that your Personality found the mapping of your life to be of value, and adheres to that map within reason. Next question [QUESTION] abandonment - we all do this a lot , we come together, we go apart , that is life, as we know it... so, what can you tell me, that would help all of us, with this type of issue involved with our passages through our lives -- i am sure, it is a theme for many -- how deeply rooted is ABANDONMENT/does it have 7 levels; and; how do each of the 7 chief dragons affect it, like impatience, arrogance, self dep; self destruction, etc [Michael Entity] True Abandonment is of such popularity for exploration by souls that it is within the 30 "Classic" (external) Monads: the Abandoned and the Abandoner. It is quite popular for the same reasons that the other relationships are popular: it is an accelerated experience that holds great potential for learning about oneself. True Abandonment is an experience that eventually leads to a discovery of self-value and empowerment that, when discovered, is unprecedented. True Abandonment is antithesis to the truth of your resonance with others, and to experience it pushes one to question the value of oneself in ways that few other experiences push one to question in that way. The process of being abandoned, and the process of questioning, can be extremely painful until the lies are worked through and the truth is finally comprehended: that the value of self is never dependent upon the relative position one is within a relationship; and that the experience of abandonment is, ironically, due to the overblown value one has placed upon another fragment over self. [COMMENT] BINGO! [COMMENT] wow [COMMENT] (no wonder why sometimes, it is so easy to just detach) [COMMENT] what will the wind blow in next LOL sort of the like the ocean tide that deposits its treasures [COMMENT] I learned a lot of that in this go-round with my Father was a double-edged sword understanding intellectually why but an emotional hile [Michael Entity] There are 7 Circles of Abandonment that one can initiate or experience: Survival Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that is necessary for the survival of another, such as a mother abandoning a baby in a ditch. Sexual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that nurtures another in an intimate way, either literally sexually, or simply as embracing the Other as Oneself. Physical Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that was necessary for the mobility and productivity of another fragment. Emotional Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that embraces another fragment with room to Be without explanation or apology. Intellectual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of communication and exchange with another. Intuitive Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of encouragement for upholding the fulfillment of visions, dreams, and wishes. Spiritual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of guidance and clarity for the bigger picture and pattern of the life. [COMMENT] wow-this is very deep stuff--you are writing a book of great value troy/michael-as, you do this [COMMENT] that alone gives me mucho food for ponderings [Michael Entity] In instances of True Abandonment, Karma is often created. When we say True Abandonment, we mean that one has instilled oneself as a provider for a particular context, and then bails on the responsibilities of that position upon which another became dependent. When one experiences True Abandonment, the effects are valid and we do not mean to suggest that they are not, though we do suggest that most of the contexts can be overcome as the individual fragment finds his or her own sense of value. In the first context of Survival, the exploration of value is dependent upon Essence, not the Personality. The Essence will either let the life go as a means to start again in another life, or find a way to get help to the Personality that has been abandoned, if the Personality is receptive to that help. [COMMENT] And all the 7 seems to relate somehow with the 7 chakras and centers too [Michael Entity] Yes, there is a relevant parallel to the Chakras. [COMMENT] (you can NOT make someone else into something of value-they must learn to do that for themselves-otherwise, they do NOT appreciate it , as, they would, if they earned the rite of passage for themselves) [QUESTION] Every Personality can experience many abandonments which are only experience -- not Monadal levels of True Abandonment? [Michael Entity] The Monadal process of Abandoned/Abandoner would focus on a single Circle, or context, emphasizing, for instance, Sexual Abandonment or Intuitive Abandonment. The Monad of Abandoned/Abandoner can be played out multiple times across different relationships for emphasis on the different Circles, or contexts. We would also wish to clarify that we use the term True Abandonment to refer to the legitimate relinquishing of responsibilities for a position that was originally, mutually agreed upon. This is to differentiate from the INTERPRETATION of Abandonment that is merely a reaction to the disappointment that someone did not fulfill your expectations. Most instances of True Abandonment are thoroughly explored by mid to late Mature. Most instances of abandonment after that are those of interpretation and directly related to self-karmic issues (personal, internal divisions within) that one is working on resolving. Last question. [QUESTION] An Infant soul has certain characteristics. Are these Infant Soul characteristics similar to what is experienced at each level. So that a person at a level one Old soul age, will be orienting to this new Age with some of the perspective of an Infant but specifically to the Old Soul experience. [Michael Entity] That is a valid observation. It could be said that the First Level of any Soul Age is the "infant" level of that soul age, and so on. The 6th and 7th Levels of a Soul Age would resonate to the Transcendental and Infinite Soul Ages, wherein the 6th Level is a process of opening to the collective experiences of your Essence for guidance through the life, and the 7th Level is a process of openness to one's Entity for guidance for the life. We understand that we have been asked to discuss the sometimes-confusing subject of Choice, and how this may or may not conflict with the subject of Circumstances. First we will discuss the concept of Choice: this concept has been discussed to a great extent in our body of information, but much of the concept has been discussed in terms of its foundation, and not its "structure," so to speak. Choice is the most-powerful and immediate tool any consciousness has, and all forms of consciousness have Choice. That is an example of a foundational statement. This is a factual statement. But what is built upon that is often inaccurate and misleading. That fact that Choice is available to every fragment and every form of consciousness does not elaborate upon the DEGREE of Choice that a fragment or form of consciousness may have at its disposal. It also does not account for the degrees of consciousness that a fragment may have to have as a means to increase the capacity for choice. It also does not account for the restricting factors of any given life, relationship, or event. So the concept of choice becomes a painful, confusing, delusional, dishonest, and harmful structure built upon an empowering, clear, aware, honest and healing foundation. We clarify the difference between the "foundational" and the "structure" because there is no paradox and no conflict between the two, but when one is confused for the other, the conflicts and confusion can come. The concept that "All is Choice" is a foundational statement, but not a structural statement. ALL is Choice, but this does not elaborate upon the fact that there are variations on the dimensions of "you" who make these choices, and that while a choice may be made in one dimension, it is not one that is made in another. ALL is Choice, but this does not elaborate upon the fact that this is not a statement of permission, but a simple foundation of existence. It does not elaborate upon the evolution of choice-making, and that fragments learn how to choose in ways that match their growing consciousness and manifestation of Essence. This is why the choice between "murder" and "not murdering" becomes an easy choice as one evolves. So while "All is Choice," and "Choice is the most-powerful tool you have" are true, it will help to understand the structures that are built upon those concepts in variations that can make sense. All forms of consciousness have Choice, from the subatomic to the complexity of Sentience. The degree to which a consciousness is closer to Sentience is the degree to which that consciousness makes choices that range between atomic and anatomic, or put another way: in a range between reactionary to creative. Bacteria have Choice, but can only react to stimuli. Humans have Choice, and that can range between reaction to stimuli all the way to conscious, creative problem-solving and beyond. The more one only reacts to stimuli, the more one is bound by the atomic, or the lack of consciousness. The Soul Ages describe this process of learning how to choose, and choosing how to learn. The Soul Ages describe the widening range of realization for a Sentient Being to exercise its capacity for Choice. The Infant Soul does not have the same capacity for Choice as does an Old Soul. It must be LEARNED. And in a microcosmic reflection, the newborn child does not have the same capacity for choice that an adult has. The Old Soul child does not have the same capacity for choice that an Old Soul adult has. This is because that capacity must be REMEMBERED. The Internal Monads are a description of that remembering process. Every lifetime is a remembering process, and every new Soul Age is as well. Every new Soul Age is the equivalent of a new Personality, in many ways, because it is a new paradigm upon which the Essence must now build from an old paradigm. The first 3 Levels of any Soul Age, and the first 3 stages of the Internal Monads are entirely about regaining consciousness, or "remembering." The 4th Level/Stage is about the application and building upon that memory. The 5th is about the experimentation with those new structures; the 6th is about the integration of those experiments; and the 7th is the comprehension/archiving of all of the experiences gained across that Age or Lifetime or span of lifetimes. We share this with you because it is helpful to understand that process and why it is a part of our mapping of existence, but also because it can help you understand the spectrum that you may have as choice at any given time, in any given circumstance. CIRCUMSTANCES is a term that Troy chose, but we can work with this as a term that describes situations, scenarios, conditions, limitations, etc that appear to be, or are clearly beyond your control in any obvious way. CHOICE will ALWAYS exist in some form in ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. That range of choice will ALWAYS range between atomic to anatomic, or between reactionary to creative. It might even be fair to call the range as being between Reactionary to Conscious, and while that is fair, it is slightly misleading because there would still be some degree of consciousness to your reactionary choices. For instance, your compulsions: doing what you know you do not want to do, but doing it anyway. Compulsions are reactionary. Impulses are Creative. To return to the ideas of Foundation and Structure, like the statements about Choice, it would be true to say that one is born into Circumstances that are not the choices of the Personality, but that would be a foundational statement. It does not elaborate upon the fact that the Personality is a beautiful and brilliant extension of Essence who created the Personality through its capacity of choices, and that the circumstances were chosen as Essence's ideas for how best to explore the life as you. It could be argued, then, that the life is not "your" choice, and that would be true to some degree, but only as true as "you" are not manifesting or allowing Essence into the life. The more one aligns with Essence, manifests Essence, the more the life becomes a creative process, and not a pinball game of reaction to stimuli. Therefore, while Circumstances may be limiting, and your Choices restricted to the context of Circumstances, the CAPACITY for Choice is never limited. Within the most extreme of Circumstances, you will always have the choice ranging between reaction and creativity. You may not "choose" to die from a long-term illness in any way that seems obvious to you, but you CAN choose to react to that experience as a form of survival, or choose creative ways of dealing with it in a way that evolves you. You may not "choose" to be poor in any way that makes sense to you, but you CAN choose between constant reaction to the circumstances, and creative responses to the circumstances. You may not "choose" to grow old in a way that hurts, but you CAN choose between reacting to that pain, and being creative through it, around it, beyond it. You may not "choose" who challenges you, and who may die on you, or who may assault you, or who may praise you, but you CAN choose to default to reaction or to creative response. All of this is summed up in the cliche, but valid, statement that you may not choose what happens to you, but you do have a choice in what to do with what happens to you. The most extreme form of Circumstance within a life is what we will call SUFFERING. Suffering is a relative term, so we will not define any conditions for it beyond the fact that anyone can Suffer for any reason that he or she deems circumstances are beyond their control. SUFFERING is a natural part of being alive. It cannot be avoided, and it will happen to all of you in some way, some how, some time. Not because it is imposed upon you, but because each of you will go through a process of interpreting experiences in a way that cause Suffering. Each of you Suffer in every lifetime in some way. Even the Transcendental and hosts for the Infinite Souls suffer. This is because there will ALWAYS be Circumstances beyond your control in some way. In the same way that we described the Learning and Remembering process of Soul Ages and Internal Monads, so does the approach to Suffering evolve. Suffering is avoided at all costs as an Infant Soul, and as an infant child, but Suffering is eventually and actively embraced as the soul ages, and as the adult comes into maturity. To avoid Suffering is a Survival Reaction, and a valid one within context. To embrace Suffering is to embrace your Creative Force. This is why it is well-known that those who suffer within a lifetime tend to be the most creative. Suffering is one of the most fertile of experiences for generating a return to a Creative Force within. It is NOT the only way, but it is a way that is so often a part of the life that it has come to be counted upon by Essence in many ways. When one abdicates Choice, Suffering is painful and overwhelming. When one enlists Choice to any degree closer to Creativity, Suffering becomes a rich resource, and often a direct path back to the self, and to Essence. All Infinite Souls embraced Suffering in its entirety. All Transcendental Souls, as well. This is NOT because Suffering is "noble," but that it is a part of life, a part of living, a part of being alive, in a body, and within the structures of limitation that are built upon various foundations. To avoid Suffering is to remain locked in Survival Mode. To consciously embrace it as a part of life is to Evolve. This does not mean one must seek it out, though we doubt we need to warn of this since suffering is often found without "looking for it." There are three types of Suffering: Survival Suffering, Denial Suffering, and Conscious Suffering. Survival Suffering is a closed loop of Suffering that is often generated through circular blame, guilt, shame. This is not a "true" suffering, but one that is brought upon the self and can be broken at any moment, though may require support and intervention. Survival Suffering tends to cut one off from others, the world, relationships, and life. Denial Suffering is an open loop of Suffering that drags others into it as a means to help the fragment continue its denials, lies, refusals, delusions. This is not a "true" suffering, but one that is brought upon the self as a means to avoid responsibility and accountability. Denial Suffering often leaves a trail of broken relationships, hurt people, and can lead to sociopathic behaviors. Where Survival Suffering isolates the fragment, Denial Suffering creates closed allegiances and alliances that become defensive fences between the self and "reality." Conscious Suffering, or True Suffering, is when one recognizes that there is nowhere else to go, so to speak. When one "loses" a loved one, there is nowhere to go but to suffer the grief. When one struggles with illness, there is nowhere to go but to suffer the challenges. When one struggles with pain, there is nowhere to go but to suffer the endurance. Conscious Suffering is the willingness to stand in that, and let it be. Conscious Suffering is the willingness to be present for the experience. Willingness to be present is a willingness to own what power one has in the circumstance, regardless of how limited that power may be. Owning the power that one has in the most limited of circumstances is the embrace of Choice and Creativity. Embracing Choice and Creativity means allowing for uncertainty, and paves a rich path back to the core of the self and to Essence. While Suffering is not a "noble" thing, it does lead to noble characteristics that every fragment eventually embraces and evolves. The 7 Nobilities, if you will, are: PRESENCE or Self-Authority; STRENGTH or Endurance; INNOCENCE or Wisdom; CREAVITY or Solvency; EMPATHY or Self-Reflection; FORGIVENESS or Self-Responsibility; and TRUST or Experience. The first two are Action Oriented, resonating to King/Warrior respectively. The second two relate to Expression Axis, and Sage/Artisan respectively. The third set of two relates to the Inspirational, and Priest/Server respectively. And finally the Assimilative and Scholar. The "Nobilities" will tend to be emphasized in various degrees depending on the predominance of Overleaves across the Axes, and, of course the Role and Casting. QUEUE IS NOW OPEN [Maureen] What comments would you make re: the axiom — “If you have the choice choose to enjoy” related to today's material? MEntity: Maureen, we think that is a valid statement, and in MOST of life circumstances, that choice for \enjoyment is present, but it would be a lie to say that it is a choice in every circumstance. It is rare that a fragment would or could choose to "enjoy" Suffering, itself, but one CAN choose to find moments of joy, or to allow moments of joy, however fleeting, to count, even in the midst of Suffering. If someone suffers from cancer, it would be irresponsible to tell that person to choose to enjoy the cancer, but it would be helpful to remind them that there is joy beyond the suffering, or alongside the suffering. Does this response offer some insight, Maureen? [Maureen] move towards inclusion rather than exclusion - yes thanks MEntity: Yes, Maureen. That is a valid elaboration. [Corinne] Could you explain further the differences between structure and foundation from the beginning part? MEntity: The difference between Foundation and Structure is the difference between what IS the concept and the DETAILS of that concept. The concept of a foundation for a home is fairly standard, for example, but what the details of that home may be as built upon any foundation is varying. It could be also be said to be the facts within the facts. CHOICE is a foundation for any form of conscious, but the details of how that choice is built, evolved, utilized, applied, etc is as varied as any home. Does this help clarify? [Corinne] Ok...it's clearer. Is this distinction relative to choice similar for the essence and the personality or different? MEntity: Another example might be that you have a LIFE, and that is a Foundation, but what you DO WITH THAT LIFE is the structure built upon it. [Corinne] AH! I see. MEntity: You will always have a range of Choice between Reaction and Creativity within any Circumstance, but you will not always understand or consciously choose your Circumstances. [Oscar] Hello Michaelses Would you care to elaborate on "...any way that seems obvious to you", which you mentioned in relation to possibility of Choice? MEntity: For example, one may not "choose" a certain illness, but the choices made over time during the life may end up resulting in that illness. To that extent, one DOES CHOOSE the illness, but it is no way an obvious process. Another example might be that one may not "choose" to be attacked by a murderer or rapist, but the choices that lead one to be in a certain place at a certain time resulted in being accessible to the attacker. To that extent one DOES CHOOSE the path that leads to the attacker, but in no way that is fair to call an "obvious choice" made by a person. One may not choose to live with the aches and pains of growing older in a finite body, but one DOES CHOOSE to grow older, and thus the inherent conditions that go along with age must be included in that choice. Do these examples help to clarify? [Oscar] yes very much so, thanks [DanR] Michael, could you comment on a bias seen in fragments where they view their own suffering as arising from unfortunate external circumstances while they view other fragments' suffering as arising from poor choices? For example, “I am poor due to a bad upbringing and lack of opportunity while they are poor because they chose not to work hard.” Does overcoming this bias help with Essence evolution? MEntity: The first example is one of Survival Suffering: blame on the past, on the upbringing, on the past. Survival Suffering is wrought with comparisons for the sake of excuses and alleviation of self-reflection and self-authority, self-responsibility, etc. Comparing Suffering is never insightful. It is about as useless as defining a line between Art and Not Art. By this we mean that while there are three types of Suffering that do have symptoms and behaviors distinct to each, they are still Suffering. Anyone who Suffers can use your help, and if you suffer, you can always use your own help. Therefore, yes, the transcendence of comparisons will always help one to tend to his own Creative solutions for his suffering, rather than to ensure them because they are justified when compared to others'. Comparisons are helpful for navigation, but if not used for navigation, they become the parameters of centrifugal vs creative force. Does this help in answering your question? [DanR] Yes, thank you very much Michael. [Bobbi] Having recently been dropped by a friend of 35+ years, I am left wondering if my change from uneasy ally in her Denial Suffering to offering self-empowerment/self-love suggestions caused the freeze-out. Do I try to get back in, or let her evolution continue without me? MEntity: Your observations are valid. The "freeze-out" is often the modus operandi of those in Denial Suffering, and if we see the correct fragment, your assessment is valid. As mentioned before, Suffering is Suffering, regardless of Denial, Survival, or Conscious, and any Suffering person can use your help. The choice is yours to make, but there is a risk that it could lead you to your own Suffering in some way. And if you are willing, then that can be a path of Creative Force. We would say that it would be helpful to continue what you have already done, which is to continue along lines that are on your own terms, and not catering to the perceived delusions. [Bobbi] Would the risk be rejection? [Bobbi] Again. MEntity: There is a way to return to the friendship with more offers of support and intervention without it being consuming, and that would be through calling upon one of the 7 Nobilities that come naturally to you, or that you wish to take on as a challenge. [Bobbi] Thank you. Very helpful. MEntity: When one moves into uncertainty, risk, and limitation of choice, but recognizes that choice is still an option, then calling upon one of the 7 Nobilities can help one to focus the choices. [Bobbi] Good to know and have in the holster! MEntity: For instance, in your case, you can make the choice to take the risk because you are willing to challenge your Empathy, or to utilize your Forgiveness, or to encourage her Strength by exemplifying it in yourself, etc. As we said, Suffering is not the Nobility, in itself, but from Suffering comes the 7 Nobilities, and one eventually learns to call upon those actively and willingly in the lifetime. When one actively calls upon a Nobility, then Suffering is minimized, if not diminished entirely. [Bobbi] I must have missed that in the other books. MEntity: It is not there. Our teaching is not completed in any book. [Jill] Would it be accurate to say that someone who is highly sensitive is highly reactive due to interpretation of experiences? MEntity: Highly Sensitive does not automatically equate Highly Reactive, though the phrase "highly sensitive" is often imposed upon those who are more obvious in their reactions or creative responses. Highly-sensitive people simply react OR respond quickly. Those who are highly-sensitive require more downtime for calibration and recalibration, since their sensitivity equates quickness. On the surface, and often, yes, this is reactionary, but it can evolve into a quickness of consciousness and creativity just as easily as anyone can. Does this lend insight to your question? [Jill] Is sensitivity due to Overleaves, imprinting etc.? MEntity: Sensitivity can be a result of any number of combinations, but most-often it is the result of AWARENESS. When one is "sensitive" in the sense that one is offended by the slightest thing, it is NEW, or RAW Awareness, whereas one who is "sensitive" in a sense is intuitive and transcendent of the senses, it is INTEGRATED Awareness. [Jill] Thank you. I have been struggling with the distinction for quite some time MEntity: Sensitivity is a state that every fragment strives for, and cycles through in terms of rawness vs integration. Being easily upset or offended only means that one has not found acceptable solutions to the awareness that has come to be, and this can be the case in a spectrum of situations. For instance, one can be sensitive to the behaviors of others in a way that upsets one because this emphasizes the differences between oneself and another. What to do with that awareness is then a process of Integration. [Jill] So we can truly feel empathy on the way to agape? MEntity: One can be sensitive to the plight of animals, or the oppressed, and but raw awareness will be ineffective and reactionary, often exacerbating or defeating the awareness, but integrated awareness will be responsive, effective, creative, and educational on behalf of that awareness. Jill, one cannot be in a state of agape without empathy. We will conclude this workshop with a suggestion for each of you to examine the 7 Nobilities and to look at which ones are more challenging, which ones are natural to you, and which ones have not been considered. Look at the risks you may be willing to take in the life, and call upon one that you feel could help minimize the potential for suffering. Examine where and how in your life you feel you suffer because of circumstances, and see if you can stand in it Consciously so that it is transformed into a path to your Creative Force. [Corinne] What are the differences between the Nobilities you capitalized and those you didn't? MEntity: While there may be variations in the limitations and freedoms relative to Choice, you will ALWAYS carry with you the spectrum between Reaction and Response/Creativity. It could be said that the capitalized is the foundation, and the lower-case is the structure; or put another way, the concept and the application. [Corinne] I see. Thanks.   4. Michael Speaks Live How Reincarnation Works -- Part I June 28, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we will talk about reincarnation, and how it works. Many of our students come to our teaching with presumptions of how reincarnation works, and most never ask about it. As our teaching is built from the questions of our students, and not from our simply deciding what you should know, the subject of reincarnation has been overlooked, despite its being such an intrinsic premise of this teaching. Much of what we will share today will not be new, but it may come together in a succinct way that is new for many. The primary understanding of how reincarnation works is quite accurate, but is simply not the whole story. Reincarnation IS linear. It does move forward in a way that reflects an evolution. So what has been shared in terms of this linear progression is certainly not misleading. It is just that there is more to it than that. So we will not be contradicting anything you already know from us. If there were no linear progression there would be no Soul Ages. So we will begin in our elaboration by saying that time and space of the Physical Plane are profoundly alive, made of an energy that does not "die," and is dynamic beyond what is currently understood as fact in sciences. It is speculated in many ways through mysticism and quantum physics, but as Essence, it is not speculation or magical. As we deliver this through Troy, there may be pauses as he unpacks new concepts or rearranges them into meaningful ways. Delivery speed will increase as we go. To help you understand how reincarnation works, we will use familiar tools and experiences as analogy. In this case, to start off, think of the Physical Plane as something more like an ocean into which one dives for an incarnation. If the ocean is the Physical Plane, then its container and depths are "space" while currents and movement of waves are "time." When you incarnate, your Essence never truly "dives" into that water. It is represented by its creation. "You." The vessel through which the dive is made possible. The beacon with which Essence remains connected to the Body is the Instinctive Center. Essence cannot swim, so to speak, so it can only "watch" from a distance, metaphorically speaking, of course. Once the body/Personality is created, those first 7 years are almost entirely in the hands of the caretakers raising the child, acting as extensions of the caretakers/parents. Those 7 years are the only years in which the choices of the Personality are not fully its own. There are either choices being made from an anatomic state, or being made on behalf of the child by the caretakers. This anatomic state is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center. It is based on a combination of the programming from Essence, and the survival mechanisms of the body. Over the course of those 7 years, the brain is then capable of generating the field that will be understood as the consciousness of that Personality. But it can take between 3 and 7 years for any body, regardless of Soul Age, to generate the capacity for consciousness to be sustained by the Body and Personality. Until that spark of consciousness lights up, the brain is only remembering in terms of sensory perceptions relative to survival, even if it is storing a great deal more. Anything stored beyond the necessity for survival can be retrieved once the consciousness is activated. To simplify this picture, it is as if Essence programs a disc, pops it into the body as it is being formed, and upon first breath, that body is on its own until it gains its first spark of consciousness. As consciousness expands in that Personality/Body, so does its capacity to give space and time to Essence. As "you" begin to expand in awareness of Essence, then Essence is no longer relegated to a passive position. It can begin to experience the world with you, through you, AS you. This is important to understand as it speaks to the process of the Internal Monads we describe. As each Internal Monad is fulfilled in the Positive Pole, a greater window of time and space is given to Essence through you. The Internal Monads describe how you allow Essence to exist through you, as you. Soul Age, on the other hand, describes how YOU progress toward existing through Essence, AS Essence. In Infant Soul lifetimes, the gap between Essence and Personality is the farthest, if you will, while the gap between Essence and Personality in the older Soul Ages closes. Within each Soul Age, the gap between Essence and Personality is farthest during the 1st Internal Monad, and closes as one moves through the 7th. This will be important to understand in a few moments. The Instinctive Center is something that is born of every Body. It is a blank disc, or "drive," if you will, in every body. Essence does not separate itself from the disc that is "inserted" into a body, but rather gives a COPY to that body. The "original" version remains with Essence. The "copy" is left with the Body/Personality. This is from which the Life Plan, Life Task, Agreements, genetic emphases, and Overleaves will arise for that body. The "copy" and the "original" are on a Frequency that is exactly the same as the Frequency of Essence, which is unique to that Essence and no other. Each of our students are fairly familiar with Frequency in terms of how one processes experiences, and so forth, and you may know your Frequency as 70 or 35 or 55, etc., but in terms of Essences, your Frequency number includes a massive string of decimal points beyond that number, entirely unique to you. That Frequency keeps Essence linked to the Instinctive Center "disc" that was inserted into a life. Regardless of how the brain will function for that Personality, that Instinctive Center will record everything experienced. Everything. It is the local Akashic Records of the body. In even the most resistant and limited of Personalities, the Instinctive Center "uploads" all new data to Essence every 7 years. So even if a Personality actively and effectively rejects Essence, that Essence will still get its updates about that Personality and those updates will "write" onto the original copy of the "disc" that is with Essence. That original copy that is with Essence is always with Essence and is updated in each of these 7 year Reviews, and in after death Review. However, that "copy" that was given to the Personality is forever unique to that Personality. It will not be destroyed, nor lost. Over the course of your incarnations as Essence, the Personalities that "you" were never die, either. In the same way that Entities are comprised of fragments who are Essence, Essence is comprised of fragments who are Personalities. "You," as Essence, are everything you have ever been, while "you" as Personality are utterly and entirely unique to who you are, every single lifetime. There will never be another "you." In either sense of the word. In those early incarnations, and soul ages, when Essence and Personality are at the greater distances apart, this is why the idea of having one life is emphasized. It is not inaccurate. You, as YOU, live but once. But even this is a bit of a misnomer. And this is where we will be venturing into some difficult territory for some. As each lifetime is generated, each Personality brought to life, each copy of a disc made for a Personality as a beacon for Essence, and even as each body dies, Essence is never limited by this in terms of its existence through any given Personality. Every Personality remains "alive" and existing for Essence along the way, easily revisited. It will not matter that for that Personality, it has experienced death of the body. Essence can simply "rewind" without losing its linear progression and revisit each and every Personality. There is a reason for this. Because every single Personality has choice, there will be many along the way that do not choose Essence. Many more than one would think. As part of the process of moving from one Soul Age to the next, it becomes a priority for Essence to scan back across the lifetimes lived as that Soul Age, and "collect" as many of those Personalities as possible. By the time one reaches the 7th Level of any Soul Age, the Personality that is at that 7th Level, even if 7th Level Infant, has expanded its consciousness enough to give room to Essence to move through the Plane of Time and Space to look for those Personalities that had rejected Essence. The 7th Level Personality lives as a kind of conduit, not only for its relationship with its own Essence, but also for all of the Personalities that came before it within that Soul Age. Because of this, not only is Essence linked to all of those previous Personalities and their copies of Instinctive Center, but that 7th Level Personality is, as well. The process of leaving a Soul Age, then, is like a telescoping reunion of sorts, bringing home any Personality that could not do so on its own. Until that happens, regardless of the experience of death for that body, that lifetime is literally being lived, over and over, looping, continuing in multitudes of variation. Because of that looping of the lifetime, the Instinctive Center that is unique to that Personality continues to be filled with data. Continues to transmit to Essence. That Personality evolves on its own. In its own time, at its own pace, and by the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence, enough so to bring them home. Each Soul Age will often continue to have a handful of Personalities "left behind" regardless of that process of reunion because they simply have not expanded in consciousness to the point of allowing Essence to collect them. So at the 7th Level of each Soul Age, it is not only a process of collecting those within that Soul Age, but also a process of collecting from any Soul Age already completed. The 7th Level Old Soul, then, is extremely busy in this regard, linked to every remaining Personality across time that has not yet come to be collected. This is part of why it is difficult for us to give you Past Life information without some qualification, and often only in terms of distinct qualities that defined that lifetime. Because if there is a past life with which you resonate, it is likely a part of you still incarnating, having looped multiple times so that the variations on that lifetime are profound. This becomes more likely the further back in time and space we must look, while more recent lifetimes are fairly clear. That is because, as older souls, there are fewer of these looping anchors in "your" past. When you "cycle" off the Physical Plane, your Essence is then every single Personality it has ever been. Every Personality has come home. Every Personality has evolved to a point of consciousness that allowed for its ride home. This is important to understand because each of you are vital to that process. You are not merely a stepping stone for Essence. You ARE Essence. This is why suicide is useless, as well. It ends nothing. And even if the appeal of "starting over" is high, the disc that is unique to you is loaded back up and you must learn from within that all over again. We have said to our students that each Soul Age LEVEL is the completion of 7 Internal Monads. That is true. And it will take as many lifetimes as necessary, since not every Personality will complete the set of 7 Internal Monads. But Essence does not progress beyond a LEVEL within a Soul Age until at least one Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads within that single lifetime. However, with this new understanding you may have about how Personalities remain locked in a loop of incarnations, building upon its unique Instinctive Center, we can now tell you that every single Personality ever created will, eventually, complete every Internal Monad. That is how each of them go home, reuniting with its source, Essence. We have much more to say on this subject, of course, and we have yet to address concurrents and parallels, but this is a start. We will open the floor now for a few questions, but must conclude fairly soon for Troy. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** Janet: if the 'spark of consciousness' never lights up before the death of a child, what happens to the child's copy of its Essence 'disc'? Is it still a personality to be collected? MEntity: Yes. That incarnation will "loop" again and again for the sake of eventually living a full life. Keep in mind that there are parallels where that child may not have died, and this helps allow for the looping to be avoided, if possible. We misread your question. If the child is under 3 years old, or that spark of consciousness does not ignite, there is almost always a parallel where the life is longer, and the spark ignites. However, when that is not the case, and there are no parallels generated to accommodate the life, that "disc" will be used as "the next life." This is often the case in crib deaths, for instance. Does this answer your question? Janet: Yes. Thank you. BillG: Question: what is the fate of the focus personality after death of the body since it is the essence, not the personality, which is reincarnating? MEntity: For those Personalities who complete Review and reunite with Essence, it is quite similar to how one reunites with one's Entity as an Essence. The Essence houses the Personality in a way that allows for that Personality to continue evolving, but on the Astral Plane. It basically gets to "do whatever it wants." It is how the concept of "heaven" came about. The Personality gets to play, explore, create, and generate fantastical worlds to share. In many cases, a Personality will come to be the contact point for another fragment still incarnating, and that is how your own Essence can act as a "guide" for others. That is also how guides can often still have "personality.” The mid-Astral Plane is where your Personalities "live" once they are done in the Physical Plane, and they become accessible to "you" as part of your own network of support, guidance, wisdom, etc. as you expand your consciousness. You are never alone, in that regard, and what is "Essence" is forever changed by each one that comes home. Does this answer your question? BillG: Yes., thank you. Just wondering if those personalities include future selves as well as past ones MEntity: It can be complicated to explain, but yes, there are "future selves" there, as well, especially for those Personalities that are looping in their incarnations. That is a topic in itself, but the concept is valid. There is more to say, and we can always elaborate upon all of the various things a Personality can do after Review. Paulyboy: Hi Michael – Bill's question answered my original, so – Could you expand please upon the various things a personality can do after review? Like, have other lifetimes, be born as a dragon in some fantasy world, fly a starship in some sort of “Star Trek” like universe, be born a different gender on an alternate 20th century Earth, etc.? Expand please I find this awesome and interesting Rather, in the mid Astral plane, after "coming home" Thank you Watch versions of your favorite movie where the ending didn't "suck" from a slightly different parallel? Etc.? Anyway, just prattling on here. MEntity: All of the above, and then some. Keep in mind that this will have been within the Astral Plane. It is as real as the Physical Plane, of course, but simply in a different way with different physics. In addition to all of the creative ways one can live in the Astral, the Personality can also visit any of the previous Personalities still incarnating, act as a guide, support, etc. This is often the case for most who are 6th Level. This is why those at the 6th Level feel a bizarre sense of feeling protected and safe, even if life crumbles around them. There is a knowing that is new, and that is partially because that Personality is connecting with the truth of its many selves beyond any challenges. Surprisingly, many Personalities find themselves eager to help, support, and learn in ways that are not escapist. There are phases of adaptation that we can delineate that each Personality goes through once residing in the Astral. We can explore this in further exchanges with you. ConnorB: What role does a Personality play, if any, in the planning of a subsequent lifetime? MEntity: Connor, they play a vital role, if there is reunion. If the Personality remains in a loop, then Essence will use the data gathered so as to evolve itself and create further lifetimes, but in the case where a Personality returns to Essence, or when a Personality is manifesting Essence, then there is high involvement in creating "the next" lifetime. That is, if they choose to be. ViP1: I hope this question doesn't come across the "wrong" way but I've had it queued up for some time. Some spiritual teachings hold that it is possible, while physically incarnated, to cut the experience of reincarnation short by bringing oneself (through meditation or possibly other practices) into a state of experiencing oneself as being the "creator", or I suppose what would be called Tao in your teaching, and training oneself to stay in that state, even as the physical body and what it experiences via the senses is still perceived. And that there would eventually come a point where that state would become self-perpetuating, with no further individual effort required. And that upon the death of the physical form, one will remain in the experience of oneness with Tao, with no further reincarnations or experiences on any of the planes. (Not including Grand Cycles.) Is such a thing actually possible, irrespective of whether it might be considered desirable or not? If not, then what would you say these teachings might actually be describing, if it would be something you could comment on? MEntity: First, the concept is absurd. There are no shortcuts. Second, the concept is generated to bring false comfort. It is the equivalent of spiritual suicide. Those who would subscribe to the concept will be in for a big surprise. Bobby: By the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence. Does the review only take place at the 7th level or does it happen for each personality just after death? MEntity: Review will happen after every death, but that Review determines if there is return to Essence, or continuation in the loop. It is not *quite* that simple, but it is the response we can get through for now. We must conclude here for tonight. We have exhausted our channel. Good evening or good day or good morning to each of you. July 6, 2015 Question asked during Ask Michael session JanaK: I have a followup question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” thrown out, which I would like more clarification on. I will state how I understood it, so please correct anything that I have misunderstood. So if I understand it correctly, what determines whether the Personality is stuck, is whether they do or don’t complete the Review and reunite with Essence. If they don’t complete it and don’t unite with Essence, then they keep literally reincarnating, living through variations on the same lifetime (presumably this happens in separate parallels). They keep doing this, until they evolve enough to be able to reunite with Essence, in which they sometimes need to be helped. You have also said, that in this way they all do get to eventually complete all 7 IMs. Yet, I also thought one can complete Review and reunite with Essence without completing all 7 IMs? Are all personalities stuck until they have lived in some way (parallel or looping) till 7th IM in positive? MEntity: Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc., will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. Those Personalities that fall into a loop are those that do not complete an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, or resign to the Negative Pole of an Internal Monad. That Personality will "loop" until it has completed the Internal Monad relative to what it had been trying to complete, and then it can move into Review. However, it is quite common that these Personalities will just continue to completion of all 7 Internal Monads, however many loops that would take. It Reviews, but mostly for the sake of updating Essence. The Personality is not quite capable of full comprehension until there is at least one Personality that has completed all 7 Internal Monads. Then the gathering of all Personalities from the Soul Age compile experiences for Review that launches the Essence into the next Soul Age. Because of the uniting of experiences and processes, then all Personalities that are a part of that benefit and, technically, each completes all 7 Internal Monads relative to their own lives. Those Personalities in a loop will have done so for themselves by this time, and will join the evolution into the next Soul Age, or will remain and continue in their loops, until either the completion of the 7th Internal Monad on their own, or help comes. Each of you will likely have several "loops" that will need to be collected from across your Soul Ages when you get to your 7th Level of the Old Soul Age. How Reincarnation Works -- Part II
  5. [Excerpt from a private session on January 15, 2015] Question: What remaining issues need to be addressed in order to close out the Fourth Internal Monad? MEntity: There are almost always two elements that remain "floating" that extend this Internal Monad when one is "so close" to successful closure. These elements are part of the entire point of the Internal Monad. The elements related to the shedding of imprinting can come surprisingly easier than these final two. And those elements are: BE YOURSELF, and LIKE YOURSELF. These can sometimes be quite elusive. Just when one feels he or she is making strides, and actually liking the self, something challenges this notion and then you may find yourself angry, frustrated, berating yourself, blaming someone, distracted with defense, etc. The ultimate shift that comes after allowing oneself to BE oneself, and LIKING oneself, is that you lose all defense. You no longer react. No longer defend. We are not speaking in terms of responding to legitimate attack or harm. Defense is not a "bad thing" in and of itself. What we speak of here is retreat, recoiling, lashing out, resigning, helplessness, paralyzation, as a means of reaction to feeling threatened, with or without valid threat The "good news" is that this defense comes up BECAUSE you like yourself. So half of the battle is already won. The other half of the battle is when one realizes: there is no need for a battle at all. You can like yourself on your worst days. You can be yourself even when it is the farthest from what you would prefer yourself to be. Because ALL of it is you. There is no one pushing you to be something you are not. No one defining you anymore. Only you, your thoughts, feelings, actions, reactions, and responses. If you overreact, feel frustrated, angry, then THAT is who you are. If you feel hurt, upset, depressed, then THAT is who you are. If you feel blissful, enthusiastic, playful, then THAT is who you are. None of it is ever NOT who you are. And when that spectrum of who you are is embraced, the defenses drop because "who you are" is no longer seen as being "caused" by someone else's behavior or actions. Keep in mind that one can BE who one is without LIKING who one is. And one can LIKE who one is without BEING who one is. For example, you may not like who you are in some contexts and situations, but you can BE who you are. This helps you to own who you are, which helps to return you to liking yourself. Or, you may find that you are able to LIKE yourself, but worry that you are not Being yourself. This is okay, too, because liking yourself helps you to learn to be even more than you thought you were.   6. This material from a private session was posted on January 17, 2013. [Bobby] Last month, when I asked if I had completed my 4th IM or not, you responded with "we do not think it is completed. When issues of self-as-resource, or self-confidence, are cleared up, we think there may be rapid movement toward closure." Are the issues of "self-as-resource" and/or "self-confidence" unresolved 3rd IM issues that are holding up the 4th IM? What specifically am I doing or not doing that is keeping me from completing the current IM? [MEntity] The only reason you have not completed this Internal Monad is because you are not finished. It is not that you were blocking or delaying or dropping the efforts. It is, simply, occurring at your particular pace. There have been ebbs and flows of effort and retreat, but no interest in closing this without completion. What you are doing that is helping to contribute to the completion is the taking of responsibility for your self as a resource. The definition of "resource" has come to change over time, and the range of value has expanded to include tangible and intangible contribution and sharing. [Bobby] How exactly is it determined that it is ever completed then? Since this is a personality based IM, I would think there would be certain markers one could go by. [MEntity] It makes a difference if you contribute criticism, badgering, bickering, dismissal, distance, or if you contribute kindness, patience, laughter, playfulness, intimacy, ideas, creativity, and sanctuary. Those "things" count as much as any dollar, if not more. Though all contributions will have their importance for specific effects (you cannot pay rent with laughter, for instance), they are still beneficial resources that must, eventually, be appreciated. [Bobby] I see. So currently then the contributions are still weighted a little more to that negative end of the spectrum then? [MEntity] For most, the markers for completion of the 4th Internal Monad might be: One begins to appreciate one's innocence and the innocence of others, and drops the constant necessity for destructive criticism. [For me, I think this was the key] One begins to like oneself, and others, from a gentler stance that does not require defense. One no longer "hides." [Bobby] What would be an example of a way that I still "hide"? [MEntity] One feels as if there is a stable return to participation, contribution, and creation of the life. One tends to find that the life is flexible and adaptable, instead of fixed by any conclusions at any given time. We are speaking about markers for all who complete this Internal Monad, not specific to you. However, in terms of "hiding," this can be quite literal in that one avoids interaction with the life, or a complete indulgence in the life, so as not to truly be responsible for the life. Or, for the older soul, this can be much more subtle, such as contorting the self to match the expectations of others and to avoid "rocking the boat," or dealing with conflict, or hiding through the presumption that others contort to one's own expectations. In your case, we think your pattern was to "hide" in terms of retreat into the self to avoid conflicts or disappointment. Eventually, the completion of the 4th Internal Monad comes with a realization that disappointment is not the same thing as definition, and conflict is not the same thing as needing to be right or to win. [Bobby] The "to avoid conflicts" though seems to run counter to accepting another's innocence. I balance: do I allow them to be testy and nasty or do I fight back when challenged. I think I do a LOT less of the latter, now, but there is still some of that to some degree. [MEntity] The balance is simple in philosophy, but not always so simple in application. That balance is through lack of defense. If you feel yourself getting heated and reactionary, you are in a state of defense. If you find yourself disengaged and dismissive, you are in a state of defense. [Bobby] Ok, I'll keep on working on it.   7. Originally posted June 24, 2014 [MEntity] INITIATION: When one activates the 5th Internal Monad, it often comes with a wave of Anxiety, the Negative Pole. It is the realization that one is not just aging, but one HAS aged. [MEntity] Depending on the individual, this can be nearly debilitating in the Anxiety, or simply a concern. [MEntity] If the fragment moves out of the initial Anxiety about having aged, he or she then shifts into the Positive Pole of Awareness. [MEntity] Suddenly or gradually, there comes to be an awareness of the potential relief from all of the expectations and impositions one had been carrying over the self for so many years. [MEntity] There comes to be a keen sense of perspective, a clarity that one can begin to re-create the self, not just live under the momentum of personal expectations. [MEntity] As the 4th Internal Monad is the shedding of imprinting of others' ideas about who you are and should be, the 5th Internal Monad is about shedding the ideas you had about yourself about who you were and should have been. [MEntity] This Stage is an exploration of the Instinctive Center, and emphasizes a move from Distrust to Trust in one's capacity for re-creation, or put another way, one's capacity to work with what one is and has, not with what one was or expected to have had. [MEntity] From Awareness or Anxiety, one then moves into Regret, the Negative Pole of Introspection. [MEntity ] If one moves into this from Anxiety, then Anxiety comes to be mixed with Regret, and the life comes to be plagued with all of the "should haves" and "what if's" and "could haves" and a grieving begins for the sense that the life was wasted or missed. [MEntity] If one moves into this from Awareness, then there is still an exploration of Regrets, but these are approached with a sense of perspective and understanding about how one cannot judge the past based on the present Awareness. That Awareness is used for releasing the Regrets, rather than amplifying them. [MEntity] The Emotional Center is emphasized here, and one begins to look at his or her past as a source of Inspiration. [MEntity] If in the Negative Poles, then that Inspiration is experienced as Projection. One simply projects onto the past what it could have been, what it should have been, and then uses this against the self. [MEntity] If in the Positive Pole, then this is experienced as Reflection, a means of learning more about the self and building upon that. Looking back at one's life in Reflection can be freeing, and help to release the weight of poor decisions, "missed" opportunities, etc. [MEntity] Eventually one then moves into Realization, the 3rd Stage. [MEntity] This is entered through the Negative Pole, Resentment. [MEntity] If this is entered from the previous Negative Pole, then it brings with it Anxiety and Regret. This experience then will turn to blaming, shaming, and generally disengaging from any responsibility for who one is or what one has in the life. It comes to be someone else's fault, built from the "should haves", "would haves" and "what if's". [MEntity] It can be blamed on vague complaints, as well, such as circumstances, status, etc. [MEntity] When Resentment is entered after having completed the previous Positive Pole, then it is approached in a way that examines where and how one might blame the past, but this is moved into Acceptance, the Positive Pole. Any Resentment for one's status, circumstances, past, relationships, etc. comes to be embraced as a PART of who one is, and what one has, but not as contradictory to who one is or has. [MEntity] The Intellectual Center is explored here, looking at one's beliefs about the form one has come to have taken, and what contributed to that. [MEntity] The Realization here is that one is exactly who one created, needed, or wanted, whether done in reaction to others, to circumstances, to status, etc.. It was still a reality that you are who you are because of you. [MEntity] Eventually, there is the move into Manifestation, the 4th Stage. [MEntity] The Negative Pole here is Punishment. [MEntity] If this is entered from the Negative Poles of previous Stages, then it comes with Anxiety, Regret, Resentment, and someone must pay for that. [MEntity] The search for who or what to blame shifts into who or what to punish. [MEntity] This can become very distracting, and turn inward toward the self, if something external cannot satisfy the compulsion to punish. [MEntity] The level of self-punishment can be quite painful, and begin to manifest as ailments, such as memory loss, isolation, and anger. [MEntity] This is where the Moving Center is emphasized, and it shows up in the body, and in one's actions toward others. This is where the cantankerous begin to show up. [MEntity] When this Pole is entered from the Positive Poles of the previous Stages, it is a look at how one may have wished to punish, or how one has been punishing, and this is released through Revitalization. [MEntity] New life is infused into the past, into memory, into the body in a way that decides that one will no longer carry the weight of punishment for the self, or for others. [MEntity] Nostalgia is implemented and a sense of reverence for one's past comes to be allowed, and better memories, or better ways of remembering are used to help bring vitality to the present. It is a release of anchors to the past that are no longer really relevant. [MEntity] A shift in health tends to happen here so that one begins to feel enthusiastic about new lines of activities and pursuits. [MEntity] The next Stage is that of Contentment. It is entered through Overwhelm. [MEntity] When this is entered from the previous Negative Poles, it is when the past starts to consume the self in a new way. It is relentless. The life as it is now is trapped by everything that happened in the past. [MEntity] The wish to go back and fix things can be Overwhelming, and the prospect of re-creating the life is beyond daunting. It is often rejected as even possible to do so. [MEntity] When entered from the Positive Pole of the previous Stage, it is experienced as more of a range of choices that must now be made. Suddenly, everything seems possible, and this can be Overwhelming. This is often experienced as a kind of pleasant overwhelm, but an overwhelm, nonetheless. [MEntity] The Higher Emotional Center is emphasized here, so one begins to resort to intuition and measuring choices against what makes one happy. The parameters become very simple and clear for how to move through the new spectrum of choices. This leads to Vividry. [MEntity] This is when everything turns brighter, renewed, intriguing, curious, and there is an acute awareness of how the simplest choice in the day actually MAKES the day, and how making a shift in choice toward Awareness, Appreciation, Acceptance, Revitalization, makes tremendous impact. [MEntity] Contentment comes because the nature of the day is owned as being in one's hands. [MEntity] The next Stage is that of Magnetization, and this is entered through Burden. [MEntity ] If this is entered from the Negative Poles of the previous Stages, it brings with it all of the previous Negative Poles, and begins to see others or the self as being a Burden. You are not what you expected, and no one else is, either, so all of it becomes a burden. [MEntity] One begins to feel as if a waste of air, space, life. [MEntity] Or that others are. [MEntity] Health continues to decline here, and memory fades fast. [MEntity] If this is entered from the previous Positive Pole, it is an exploration of Burden in terms of what you no longer can manage on your own, and how to ask for help in that. Part of the process of re-creating the self is in allowing a profound embrace of support and networking that helps care for all that can be cared for. [MEntity] This Stage explores the Higher Intellectual, and it is a process of facing the truth. [MEntity] It is either a process of learning how one must now manage very real burdens, or to go further into denial and bury oneself in the fear of being a burden, or seeing others as burdens. [MEntity] When there is a move to the Positive Pole, Burden comes to be a means of Bonding. [MEntity] The burdens of others are helped by you in a way that you know you can help, and your burdens are allowed to be helped by those who can help. [MEntity] This is a new level of Magnetization of Agreements, focused on a network of honesty, authenticity, and the embrace of variations of truth. [MEntity] Eventually one then moves into Emanation. This is entered through Collapse. [MEntity] If this is entered from the previous Negative Poles, Collapse comes in quite tangible ways. Mental collapses, material collapse, emotional collapse, or a combination of all of the above. [MEntity] Something in the self gives up. It no longer cares to be responsible. It is done. [MEntity] It will live from the Negative Poles of all of the Stages. [MEntity] If this Negative Pole is entered from the Positive Pole of the previous Stage, it is more like a quick check of all of the ways that one is weak, unsure, insecure, ill, in need, etc. and building upon the embrace of help and Bonding of the previous Stage. It is a look at the infrastructure of the self in all levels, and honoring what needs to be addressed. [MEntity] Collapse is not a "bad thing," but a natural thing that happens over time as a means of making room for the new, the evolved, the more natural. Entropy is a beautiful way of understanding the potential of Collapse. [MEntity] In fact, that is what this Stage is about. It is an emphasis on the Higher Moving Center, and an embrace of the awe of who you are, who you have become, and there comes a sense of Transcendence, the Positive Pole. One is now no longer confined by even the personal expectations of the self, but is free to allow the day to bring surprises about who one is, how one is, and this is allowed to be beautiful. [MEntity] This becomes true of others, as well. They are no longer confined by your expectations, but become beautiful in their own right, contributing to a dance of life that is all but invisible in its awesome choreography.     [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 3rd Rite of Passage [Internal Monad], which is Independence, is initiated by the process of separation of identity from one’s caretakers, and establishing the self as its own authority. The successful completion of the 3rd Internal Monad is marked by the capacity to provide for oneself. Providing for oneself does not mean isolating oneself as the only resource, but would include knowing when to ask for help, and how to receive that. The unsuccessful completion of this Internal Monad is marked by either having constant combat with anyone suggesting Authority, and/or resigning from the responsibility of caring for oneself.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: September 2009] [Question] Greetings Michael, my question is about the Internal Monads; following is from a private session with Troy: “In fact, the completion of Internal Monads in the negative pole are vital to the process of evolution for the soul. Each Internal Monad will have a lifetime with a completion in the negative pole before a completion in the positive pole….A successful completion of a Soul Level means the successful completion in the Positive Pole for ALL Internal Monads within one life. This can take several lives to figure out how to build through each Internal Monad relative to that Soul Level.” Does every IM actually need to experience a lifetime apiece with each of the 7 IMs incomplete?! Any elaboration of this would be much appreciated. [Michael Entity] Before the late levels of the Mature cycle, it is fair to say that there is a completion in the negative pole for each Internal Monad as part of the evolution. After the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, this is no longer a consistency. In fact, before the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, there are often a multitude of Negative Pole completions of an Internal Monad before a completion in the Positive Pole. We speak in general here, but this is of such consistency that it is fair to speak so generally. There are exceptions to this consistency, but no rules. It simply seems to be the nature of how Essence builds upon experience. Many have heard the cliche that says one cannot appreciate the light without having experienced the darkness, and this is true for most for a long time, but eventually this is found to be an absurd concept. Any child can tell you that he or she does not have to drink soured milk to appreciate ice cream. And so it is that most of you eventually find your means of comprehending that does not require such fracturing, such pain, and struggle as a means to experience wholeness, joy, and ease. [Question] In the later mature, and old cycles, is it necessary (usually) to have many lives to process the first 3 IMs? [Michael Entity] The variations after that point are across the board, so to speak. The variations become a matter of creativity, and not confined to any default. This is because the “Negative Pole” is experienced differently than before. It is not always experienced as a “bad” thing, or a painful thing, but as a matter of experience that brings as much benefit as any other, and it is not avoided any more than it is preferred. It is simply a matter of choice, or a matter of allowing room for Personality to go as “awry” as it chooses. Some of the most exciting and creative adventures have been experienced by Essence through the Personalities who were the most “rogue.” However, the Negative Pole does not always feel so great to the Personality. In Older Soul Personalities that are most rejecting of Essence, the Personality always suspects “something” is not quite valid in that rejection and keeps an eye open for Essence, which allows room for Essence to help navigate within that lifetime.
  10. [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: January 2007] [Kathryn] How does one recognize the start of the 5th IM and what are the various steps/levels experienced as one progresses through the monad? [Michael Entity] Though this question requires a session devoted to it entirely, we can respond briefly here. One can recognize most easily the entrance to the 5th Internal Monad by a strong emphasis in the life to RECREATE IT. The 5th Internal Monad is a process of evaluating the life and all of its accomplishments, fulfillments, agendas, goals, experiences, etc. and then RECREATING the life from a place that could be said to be from a philosophy of “If I knew then what I know now.” If one equates one's age with a sense of conclusion or lack of time, then one has either NOT completed the Fourth Internal Monad, or one has completed it in a Negative Pole (which are virtually the same thing.) If one looks up and feels an inspiration to experience the freedom gained from knowledge extracted from previous experiences, then one is probably entering the 5th Internal Monad from a place of strong integration of the 4th Internal Monad. The 5th Internal Monad could be said to have a Positive Pole of RECREATION, and a Negative Pole of RESENTMENT.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 4th Internal Monad, or Rite of Passage, which is Manifestation, is initiated by one’s mid-life assessment as a means to determine the meaning of the life lived so far, and then calibrating the life to an updated course or path so that Essence may manifest. Part of that process and assessment means looking into the past as far back as childhood, and in that looking, finding all of the things that you determined have defined you, made you happy, that have fulfilled you as a child or teen, and then nurturing that same innocence in your life as an adult. A successful completion means truly liking who you are, and embracing the playfulness of your life as you move deeper into it as an embodiment of your Essence, or core Being. An incomplete 4th Internal Monad is often marked by an attempt to replicate the life that was once seen as so innocent, locking the person into a state that desperately seeks meaning, importance, and purpose.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: June 2008] [Question] I want to know about the 4th internal monad and how one would know if they were on the way to manifesting their true personality [Michael Entity] The easiest way one can gauge whether one is moving forward through the 4th Internal Monad in a way that is a positive transition, or to gauge whether one has completed a 4th Internal Monad in a way that was in the Positive Pole, is to ask one, simple question: DO I LIKE ME? To the degree that a fragment can honestly say that he or she likes himself or herself, is the degree to which the 4th Internal Monad is being completed, or has been completed, in the Positive Pole. The Positive Pole of the entire 4th Internal Monad is Self-Realization, which is the experience of being present with who you are and generally liking who you are. The Negative Pole is Acquiescence, which is the feeling of being forced or succumbing to “who you are,” and not really liking who that is. In short, if you can answer the question DO I LIKE ME? with an answer of “yes” to any degree, then you are generally manifesting True Personality to that degree.

[ClaireC] Could you fill in, or elaborate, on the seven stages of the 5th IM please, and add anything else that you deem might be useful in helping us navigate through it successfully? There is very little available at this time on this Monad, and many of us are either in it or about to commence it. [MEntity] INITIATION: When one activates the 5th Internal Monad, it often comes with a wave of Anxiety, the Negative Pole. It is the realization that one is not just aging, but one HAS aged. Depending on the individual, this can be nearly debilitating in the Anxiety, or simply a concern. If the fragment moves out of the initial Anxiety about having aged, he or she then shifts into the Positive Pole of Awareness. Suddenly or gradually, there comes to be an awareness of the potential relief from all of the expectations and impositions one had been carrying over the self for so many years. There comes to be a keen sense of perspective, a clarity that one can begin to re-create the self, not just live under the momentum of personal expectations. As the 4th Internal Monad is the shedding of imprinting of others' ideas about who you are and should be, the 5th Internal Monad is about shedding the ideas you had about yourself about who you were and should have been. This Stage is an exploration of the Instinctive Center, and emphasizes a move from Distrust to Trust in one's capacity for re-creation, or put another way, one's capacity to work with what one is and has, not with what one was or expected to have had. From Awareness or Anxiety, one then moves into Regret, the Negative Pole of Introspection. If one moves into this from Anxiety, then Anxiety comes to be mixed with Regret, and the life comes to be plagued with all of the "should haves" and "what if's" and "could haves" and a grieving begins for the sense that the life was wasted or missed. If one moves into this from Awareness, then there is still an exploration of Regrets, but these are approached with a sense of perspective and understanding about how one cannot judge the past based on the present Awareness. That Awareness is used for releasing the Regrets, rather than amplifying them. The Emotional Center is emphasized here, and one begins to look at his or her past as a source of Inspiration. If in the Negative Poles, then that Inspiration is experienced as Projection. One simply projects onto the past what it could have been, what it should have been, and then uses this against the self. If in the Positive Pole, then this is experienced as Reflection, a means of learning more about the self and building upon that. Looking back at one's life in Reflection can be freeing, and help to release the weight of poor decisions, "missed" opportunities, etc. Eventually one then moves into Realization, the 3rd Stage. This is entered through the Negative Pole, Resentment. If this is entered from the previous Negative Pole, then it brings with it Anxiety and Regret. This experience then will turn to blaming, shaming, and generally disengaging from any responsibility for who one is or what one has in the life. It comes to be someone else's fault, built from the "should haves", "would haves" and "what if's". It can be blamed on vague complaints, as well, such as circumstances, status, etc. When Resentment is entered after having completed the previous Positive Pole, then it is approached in a way that examines where and how one might blame the past, but this is moved into Acceptance, the Positive Pole. Any Resentment for one's status, circumstances, past, relationships, etc. comes to be embraced as a PART of who one is, and what one has, but not as contradictory to who one is or has. The Intellectual Center is explored here, looking at one's beliefs about the form one has come to have taken, and what contributed to that. The Realization here is that one is exactly who one created, needed, or wanted, whether done in reaction to others, to circumstances, to status, etc.. It was still a reality that you are who you are because of you. Eventually, there is the move into Manifestation, the 4th Stage. The Negative Pole here is Punishment. If this is entered from the Negative Poles of previous Stages, then it comes with Anxiety, Regret, Resentment, and someone must pay for that. The search for who or what to blame shifts into who or what to punish. This can become very distracting, and turn inward toward the self, if something external cannot satisfy the compulsion to punish. The level of self-punishment can be quite painful, and begin to manifest as ailments, such as memory loss, isolation, and anger. This is where the Moving Center is emphasized, and it shows up in the body, and in one's actions toward others. This is where the cantankerous begin to show up. When this Pole is entered from the Positive Poles of the previous Stages, it is a look at how one may have wished to punish, or how one has been punishing, and this is released through Revitalization. New life is infused into the past, into memory, into the body in a way that decides that one will no longer carry the weight of punishment for the self, or for others. Nostalgia is implemented and a sense of reverence for one's past comes to be allowed, and better memories, or better ways of remembering are used to help bring vitality to the present. It is a release of anchors to the past that are no longer really relevant. A shift in health tends to happen here so that one begins to feel enthusiastic about new lines of activities and pursuits. The next Stage is that of Contentment. It is entered through Overwhelm. When this is entered from the previous Negative Poles, it is when the past starts to consume the self in a new way. It is relentless. The life as it is now is trapped by everything that happened in the past. The wish to go back and fix things can be Overwhelming, and the prospect of re-creating the life is beyond daunting. It is often rejected as even possible to do so. When entered from the Positive Pole of the previous Stage, it is experienced as more of a range of choices that must now be made. Suddenly, everything seems possible, and this can be Overwhelming. This is often experienced as a kind of pleasant overwhelm, but an overwhelm, nonetheless. The Higher Emotional Center is emphasized here, so one begins to resort to intuition and measuring choices against what makes one happy. The parameters become very simple and clear for how to move through the new spectrum of choices. This leads to Vividry. This is when everything turns brighter, renewed, intriguing, curious, and there is an acute awareness of how the simplest choice in the day actually MAKES the day, and how making a shift in choice toward Awareness, Appreciation, Acceptance, Revitalization, makes tremendous impact. Contentment comes because the nature of the day is owned as being in one's hands. The next Stage is that of Magnetization, and this is entered through Burden. If this is entered from the Negative Poles of the previous Stages, it brings with it all of the previous Negative Poles, and begins to see others or the self as being a Burden. You are not what you expected, and no one else is, either, so all of it becomes a burden. One begins to feel as if a waste of air, space, life. Or that others are. Health continues to decline here, and memory fades fast. If this is entered from the previous Positive Pole, it is an exploration of Burden in terms of what you no longer can manage on your own, and how to ask for help in that. Part of the process of re-creating the self is in allowing a profound embrace of support and networking that helps care for all that can be cared for. This Stage explores the Higher Intellectual, and it is a process of facing the truth. It is either a process of learning how one must now manage very real burdens, or to go further into denial and bury oneself in the fear of being a burden, or seeing others as burdens. When there is a move to the Positive Pole, Burden comes to be a means of Bonding. The burdens of others are helped by you in a way that you know you can help, and your burdens are allowed to be helped by those who can help. This is a new level of Magnetization of Agreements, focused on a network of honesty, authenticity, and the embrace of variations of truth. Eventually one then moves into Emanation. This is entered through Collapse. If this is entered from the previous Negative Poles, Collapse comes in quite tangible ways. Mental collapses, material collapse, emotional collapse, or a combination of all of the above. Something in the self gives up. It no longer cares to be responsible. It is done. It will live from the Negative Poles of all of the Stages. If this Negative Pole is entered from the Positive Pole of the previous Stage, it is more like a quick check of all of the ways that one is weak, unsure, insecure, ill, in need, etc. and building upon the embrace of help and Bonding of the previous Stage.     Sixth Internal Monad

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] And finally, the 6th Rite of Passage, Comprehension, is marked by the onset of that which will be the cause of death. This is the only Rite of Passage that can most-often be processed in a matter of seconds. A successful completion would show up as a surrender to the reality of mortality, and a full review of the life in a way that brings comprehension to the fact that one has lived and one is now dying. This can happen in a car crash, or in a long-term illness, etc. Time takes on a completely new dimension in this Passage. The incomplete Internal Monad here would show up as anything representing a rejection of mortality, ranging between resignation, apathy, to delusion, dementia, and denial. In instances such as a car crash, the individual may actually “re-live” the entire life in new ways that account for corrections of betrayals, missed opportunities, etc. before actually exiting. That experience can be a means of review, or as a means of denial.

We understand the subject is further exploration and review of the Soul Age Levels, and that there is an initial question you would choose as a starting point. We can begin our exchange. [Maureen] DESCRIPTION: By request: an exploration of the Soul Age Levels and how these work as descriptions of where one is in the process of expanding consciousness. Michael, would you provide a description for each of the Soul Age Levels focusing on the progressive elements or perceptual states that come into play as we work our way through all the Soul Ages, with emphasis today on the Old Soul Age, with a follow-up of Mature if we have enough time. Would you elaborate on how learning and insight can be complemented, at the same Level, across Soul Ages. For example, are the same Levels at a different Soul Age complementarily equal? Would a Level 4 Mature Soul and a Level 4 Old Soul be in an advantageous position to learn from each other? MEntity: Each Soul Age has 7 Levels. Each Level has 7 Internal Monads. To progress through a Soul Age LEVEL, one must complete/fulfill each of the Internal Monads. Internal Monads may take several lifetimes to fulfill, progressively. This is fairly simplistic and is review for most of you. If one were to complete all 7 Internal Monads in a single lifetime, the Essence took only one lifetime at one Level. If one takes 21 lifetimes to work through all of the Internal Monads, then it took 21 lifetimes to progress through that Level. Common across ALL Soul Age Levels is this process. This is because there is no lifetime that starts completely intact with its memories, experiences, and consciousness. It must be regained, rekindled, accessed, activated. In short, every lifetime is a process of remembering. This loss of memory is not on the scale of Essence, but relative to the new body. A new brain with new cells means that it will take time for that body to represent the consciousness/sentience. The first 7 years of a life is almost entirely about this fusion. So in every lifetime, one must be born and stay alive (first internal monad), then activate independent mobility (second internal monad), then activate self-sufficiency (third internal monad), then shed imprinting and activate self-definition (fourth internal monad), then free the self from self-imposed limitations and recreate the self from wisdom and experience (5th internal monad), then profoundly embrace and comprehend one's mortality (6th internal monad), then exit without attachments (7th internal monad). Some of these are more difficult to complete than others, depending on the Personality, but once one is completed, even if no others beyond that are completed within the lifetime, it is done, and only the remaining would be required for progress through the Level. For example: if one were to complete the 3rd Internal Monad, but not complete any beyond this in that lifetime, then the next lifetime will not only have an "easier" time of moving through the first three, but now only has to complete the 4th (and beyond, if possible.) However, even if that subsequent lifetime only completes the 2nd Internal Monad, it is not a setback for progress through the Soul Age Level. It may be a lull in progress, but only technically. Every lifetime contributes. We know of one fragment who took over 100 lifetimes to move through one Internal Monad. We share the details and review of the Internal Monads as they relate to the Levels because where one is in his or her Internal Monads can help give you an idea of where one is in the Level. Essence is in no hurry, so this information is not to be used as a means for pressure and measurement, but more as a means for orientation and expansion of choice. Of course, if one chooses to use this information against himself or herself, or to use it as a means of feeling better than someone else, it is up to them, but that is a fairly useless use of the information. So these Internal Monads are common among ALL Soul Age Levels. The reason everything is reset upon progression into a new Soul Age Level so that one must now cycle through the progression of Internal Monads for each Level is because each Level is a new context and perception. Though this is a bit misleading, since no grading or approval is involved in any way. Another commonality among all Levels is the polarities of each Level: Regardless of one's Soul AGE, these Polarities will help to define the emphases of COURSES, if you will, relative to the Soul Age. The FIRST LEVEL is always about the spectrum between PURPOSE and SIMPLICITY. The SECOND LEVEL is always about the spectrum between STABILITY and BALANCE. The THIRD LEVEL is always about the spectrum between ENTERPRISE and VERSATILITY. The FOURTH LEVEL is always about the spectrum between CONSOLIDATION and ACHIEVEMENT. For many, there is a pivotal lifetime that we refer to as MID-CYCLE, which combines the elements of the Third and Fourth Levels. The FIFTH LEVEL has as its spectrum the polarities between EXPANSION and ADVENTURE. The SIXTH LEVEL has as its spectrum the polarities of HARMONY and CONNECTION. The SEVENTH LEVEL has as its spectrum the polarities of INCULCATION and ECLECTICISM. All of these are relevant to every Soul Age. Since your interest is in starting with the OLD Soul Age, we will start there for some combining that can help one to see how all of this comes together in helping describe where one is in the process of evolving contexts, perceptions, and consciousness. Because this is an incarnational process, it is not just a process of accepting oneself as BEING Essence, it is a process of accepting the creation of Essence that is YOU. On an Essence Level, this acceptance of BEING is about comprehending one's place in the vastness of the cosmos. This is difficult to comprehend while a Personality is rejecting itself. In order for Essence to learn to accept itself as a creation, it must work through the experiences of Personalities accepting themselves as creations. So every lifetime across the Old Soul Age is about self-acceptance, and this is played out through a multitude of ways. It could be said that every Soul Age, or fragment, works toward self-acceptance, and that is true to some degree, but it is the Old Soul who seeks to accept the unacceptable, to embrace totality of Being, both as Personality and as Essence. The Old Soul does this not through relationships as much as they do through exposure to "the world." This is because the Old Soul has already worked through the myriad forms of relationships during the Mature Soul Age to learn about empathy, but now seeks to work to resolve contradictions, paradoxes, and discrepancies regarding TRUTH. So the Old Soul gets preoccupied with how there are so many different truths when the greater truths are now being seen and comprehended. What is the truth, then? How can one be so invested in "this" truth, when there are "better" truths? It could be said, then, that the "school" of the Young Soul is Energy, and the "school" of the Mature is Love, while the School of the Old is Truth. The Old Soul must make sense of a multitude of conflicting, contradictory, dichotic, and paradoxical truths as a means toward acceptance of one's Being, and the unacceptable. Keeping this larger context in mind as the Old Soul AGE, or this School of Truth, then the Levels are one's map of exploration through that school of truths. So a FIRST LEVEL OLD SOUL would tend to emphasize "the truth" of one's PURPOSE. This tends to be explored through SIMPLICITY, first, and then moves into a sense of direction. It is utterly horrifying to have come "this far" and then find that "we did this just for the fun of it?" That phrasing is in jest, but it is fair. Most fragments who arrive at this Level, or are manifesting at this Level, will succumb to a sense of exhaustion, of a daunting sense that one just wants to "go home," and is dreading the work of making sense of it all, and making sense of the self. Now, adding in the Internal Monads within the Level, one who is, say, at the 3rd Internal Monad within the 1st Level of the Old Soul Age will be a combination of challenges and experiences around Self-sufficiency, Purpose/Simplicity, and Truth. Or put another way: discovering one's Truth of Purpose through Self-Sufficiency. The 4th Internal Monad would be something like refining one's truth of purpose through self-definition. And so on. This gives you the gist of how the combination of terms and levels within levels can have more personal sense made of them. Continuing on, then, the 2nd Level of the Old Soul Age would be about the Truth of Stability, or the Stability of Truth vs the Balance of Truth/Truth of Balance. The 3rd Level would be about the Enterprise or Versatility of Truth. Enterprise here is meant as a term to describe the comprehensive work that is required in an undertaking or project. Versatility is meant here as a scattering of the focus that would otherwise be Enterprising. The 4th Level would be that of the Consolidation or Achievement of Truth. Consolidation here is meant as the full expression of the whole Truth, whereas Achievement is the accomplishment of reaching and expressing the next truth. (We can return to each of these for further elaboration during questions and answers.) The 5th Level is about the Expansion of Truth and the Adventure of Truth. The 6th Level is the Harmony of Truth through the Connections of Truths. The 7th Level is about the Inculcation of Truth and the Eclecticism of Truth. Do each of you see how these simple combination of terms can be relevant to your own Soul Age, presuming it is accurate, and presuming one is not manifesting strongly in focus through a different Soul Age? The Old Soul, even if manifesting at a younger Soul Age, tends to find some conscious resonance to the Soul Age Level. MEntity: As one explores one's relationship to Truth, and the concept of Truth, it tends to be done in steps, or as "Achievements." "I now believe this." "I know this to be true, now." "I understand this, now." "This suddenly makes sense to me." Achievements are the steps, the individual truths upon which greater truths are built. Enterprise is the growing form that is chosen/created through which those truths are expressed. In many cases, this tends to be "the life." The life begins to model the wholeness of the truths. [DianeHB] Ok, I'm starting to see it now. :) MEntity: The 1st Level of any Soul Age is about the exploration of the new perceptions and context. The 2nd Level is about the experimentation with the new perceptions and context. The 3rd Level is about owning those new perceptions and context. The 4th Level is then about bringing that back out into the world in some way. For those who are 4th Level Old, there may be this understanding that one has progressed in the lifetime in definitive steps that lead to plateau, then more steps, another plateau, etc. The steps are achievements; the plateau are Enterprise. It is when one takes a break from learning and moves into applying. Neither is at the expense of the other, of course, but there is emphasis in cycles. Does this help? [DianeHB] Do you mean 3rd Level or 4th Level in that last metaphor? [DianeHB] And yes, it helps MEntity: Correction: we were describing Mid-Cycle, the combination of 3rd and 4th. The Enterprise of Truth as the 3rd Level is the cohesion of one's sense of the truth from all of the Versatility of Truth that one collects across the lifetime. Those at the 3rd Level are learning to own the new perspective and context, but they struggle with many different truths about themselves, about others, about life, the cosmos, etc, eventually pulling them together into a wholeness that is the Enterprise. This is much like the 3rd Internal Monad in that it is one's departure from depending on the truths of others, and collecting one's own. [DianeHB] I see MEntity: This then propels one forward into using one's own truths (enterprise). [DianeHB] I can see this in me as I go through the 4th IM MEntity: The Enterprise aspect is like the infrastructure built of parts collected through Versatility. [royce] I guess what I am looking for is a good definition of what makes adventure more narrow than expansion. for instance, i throw myself into very unfamiliar situations like a recent gathering i went to and from that adventure i feel like a lot of truths came to surface. Adventure leads to truth leads to expansion leads to clearer insight of same truth? thanks MEntity: Polarities often refer to "narrow," but they just as often refer to "divided," or "fragmented." Often these are the same things. You are correct in stating that Adventure can lead to Expansion. It is only when one stays focused on Adventure does one reject Expansion. Expansion will always include Adventure, but Adventure does not always include Expansion. Keep in mind that we are limited in selection of words in various languages, and keep in mind that our use of terms in different contexts can give them different meaning, so the use of Expansion and Adventure here as it refers to the polarities of the 5th Level is different from the use of those terms as Needs. One reaches the Positive Pole "through" the Negative Pole. Only the Negative Pole can be exclusive. The Positive Pole is inclusive. So if you are going on Adventures as means for Expansion, then your Expansion is built from Adventures. For some, though, the emphasis on Adventure is only for stimulation, for distraction, or indulgence and addictions and fetish. Does this help? [royce] very much so, thank you [brian_] Michael could you expand more upon details of the pivotal lifetime that you refer to as MID-CYCLE. What makes it pivotal, why is it important, what tends to occur during this lifetime, what effects does it have in Essence evolution? MEntity: Our earlier response to Diane was for this question, in that the Mid-Cycle is a combination of both the 3rd and 4th Level Polarities because those Polarities are so similar. They are so similar because one is about the cohesion of the infrastructure, or the underlying foundation, upon which, and through which the expression will come. It is unique in that two Soul Levels overlap, if you will. This makes the lifetime and Personality a bit confusing as there is a dance between the introspection and the expression, often as extremes, or at least as contradictions and inconsistencies. It can be a pivotal lifetime because it "makes or breaks" the infrastructure that was secured during the 3rd Level, and there would tend to be a Review within the life, or after, that pulls it apart and rebuilds it. [Maureen] Please elaborate on what is meant by the Inculcation of Truth and the Eclecticism of Truth at Level 7 MEntity: This might be understood as the difference between living your truths as a means of teaching, healing, contributing, versus using them to differentiate yourself from, above, or below others. Inculcation comes from repetition of application and modeling of your truths. Eclecticism is deriving the truth from various sources, often then adjusting one's truths to adapt to others' truths. Eclecticism is also an inconsistency in one's truths so that some are traded for more convenient ones, or appealing ones, or comfortable ones, etc. Eclecticism is that fragmentation of one's truths so that one begins to wonder what the hell one actually really knows. Inculcation is the ownership of the responsibility one now has that comes with wisdom. It is not just something that makes one special, or unique and different. Does this help? [Maureen] Yes it does, Thanks Michael MEntity: We can take one more question, but we must conclude after that. [GeraldineB] As Sage-casted Sage in the 4th Old Soul Level, I can't distinguish which plays a bigger role in my near obsession with truth. In fact, I can see this as a problem with all Old Sages. How do Sages validate being Old Soul vs other Soul Ages? MEntity: Sages tend to always be focused on some exploration and play with the "truth," but it is in the Old Soul Age that INTEGRITY and truth become synonymous. Another way to put this is that honesty becomes priority. By the time one is an Old Soul, or an Old Sage, the spectrum of definition for "the truth" is well-known and understood, so it becomes far more important to the Sage that there is integrity and honesty in one's truth, whatever that truth may be. This sense of honesty and integrity becomes extremely nuanced and sensitive to the Old Sage. More accurate meaning can often be found between the words and behaviors of others than the Sage often cares to deal with, but it grows like a "sixth sense." Does this help? [GeraldineB] Yes -- especially belief systems MEntity: That is one way for how the Old Sage can validate his Old Soulness: the sense of priority for Integrity and Honesty. [GeraldineB] When that is all one has, it's all one knows. [GeraldineB] so, it's not really a validation MEntity: To match that internal validation, it can also be of help to observe or be open to the feedback from others about one's own integrity and honesty. These may tend to be prominent areas of discussion, challenges, or sensitivity from others for the Sage, as well. For many Old Sages, this is a familiar area of defense because others may bring it up about the Sage, as well, in some way. We can elaborate on each Role within the Soul Ages in further exchanges.

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 2nd Rite of Passage [or Internal Monad], which is Autonomy and is initiated by the capacity to walk on one’s own, is often tied to one’s sense of Confidence. To the degree that one is Confident is the degree to which this Internal Monad was completed. When we speak of “confidence” here, we are not speaking in terms of your being able to speak well in front of a crowd, but in terms how willing one is in trying anything at all that is unfamiliar. This is not a matter of trying what one has no interest in trying, but in anything unfamiliar to you that you may have even the slightest interest in trying. This would extend into even those areas one must do for oneself because it is known that it is Good Work, even when one does not want to do them. For instance, going to an interview for a job that is important to you, even as you hate the interview process. A successful 2nd Internal Monad would mean that you do it anyway, even as you acknowledge the discomfort. That is Confidence in this context. An unsuccessful completion of a 2nd Internal Monad is often marked by classic Co-dependence, the inability to do much of anything without a reference to someone else. It is the inability to walk on one’s own. We do not refer to those who have physical disabilities, but anyone, regardless of mobility.
  17. [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: November 2008] [Question] Hi, Michael! Completing each Internal Monad in the positive pole is how we navigate thru each Level with-in the Soul Age; incompletion leaves the fragment in the negative pole of whichever “stage” of that IM. It seems to me that where a fragment is in relation to their IM’s would have a lot of impact on the Personality – as much as, say, the Goal & Attitude. There would have to be a strong Agreement, External Monad, or Karma to bring a person in negative completion of their 3rd IM (for example) in close relation to someone positively completing their IMs, no? Comments, please? [Michael_Entity] We would not agree. A relationship with different results from the personal rites of passage in life is simply a spectrum of life. Two people may choose to endure the difference, build on the difference, complement each other, help each other, etc. but this would be a matter of choice, not necessarily a matter of binding through Karma or Monads, though it would be accurate to say that an Agreement in some form would be in place. The Negative Completion of an Internal Monad (rite of passage) is usually the extended impact from the False Personality, rather than the other way around. We wish to clarify that “negative completion” is a bit of a misnomer as every Internal Monad “enters” through the negative pole and eventually completes from the positive pole. It simply happens to be that it may take more than one lifetime for a fragment to move to a point in the positive pole. In other words, if one is in the negative pole, it is not truly “completed.” If enduring relationships were subject to the position two people are within their personal rites of passage, there would be very little learning.
  18. Michael Speaks - Soul Ages and Levels (01/09/11) Troy Tolley, Channel [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We will begin with the discussion on the topic of Soul Ages and Levels. We realize we have shared a great deal of information and insight into this concept, but every aspect of our teaching has dimensions that may resonate at different points in the life, and to different students and different times, so our returning to "basics" does not have to be a review, or rehash, but a new spiral or layer of that concept. One of the reasons we think it is helpful to return to the basics at various points is because our initial sharing of this teaching in the form that you currently understand it was shared in a highly generalized and simplified way, and through the perspective of the average Soul Age of Young at the time. Our teaching does not change, but the understanding of it changes depending on the perspective that is interpreting it. For instance, there is a very basic way to understand the Role of Sage, in general, and then there are the differentiation of layers or evolution that bring dimension to that Role. For example, understanding the Sage as a goofy, obnoxious, self-indulgent, talkative, attention-seeking Role is highly generalized and, though accurate as a single dimension of that Role, only describes the Sage as the average Young Soul might manifest the Role. The description, or dimension, of the Role of Sage as an Old Soul will include this Young Soul version, but age affects how a Role is played or manifested, and the Old Soul Sage is often nothing like the general description, or the Young version. Whereas the the Young dimension of the Sage can be a clown and an attention-seeker, the Old version is the wise child whose emphasis is more on the integrity of communication and meaningful exchange, than on the attention that it would bring. And so it goes that the Soul Ages carry within them dimensions that might be filtered or highlighted by your own Soul Age. So, for instance, the Young Soul to an Old Soul looks and feels and is experienced quite differently from how a Young Soul would experience another Young Soul. What we will do today is discuss with you the Soul Ages as they may be experienced by our Students, who are more often Mature and Old, and this may help build upon the generalized concept. Your questions will help us to shape the information more relevantly. First, we will mention the underlying pillars for Soul Age that are relevant regardless of perception: Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement for EXPERIENCE. Nothing more. Soul Age is an Essence's self-measurement of Experience based upon that individual Essence's agenda only. There is no one, or no thing, monitoring this beyond that single Essence. To elaborate: one fragment's movement through a Soul Age may include completely different experiences than another fragment's experiences through that same Soul Age. That is because Soul Age is a measurement of evolution/maturity of the Essence, and any experience can be used to propel that evolution/maturity. Soul Age is ONE INTERPRETATION of the evolution of experiences of Sentience, but is not a singular map that all find relevant or meaningful. It is a map for older souls, and is useless to most before that level of maturity. There are other maps used by younger soul ages. In other words, sharing this map "with the world" would not solve the problems of the world, nor would it encourage awareness beyond the capacity that is already present in younger Soul Ages. Presuming that this concept is as profound a map for the young or baby soul as it is for the mature or old soul is like presuming that a map of Disney Land is as useful and meaningful for the toddler or teen as it is for the adults. We can go further to say that even many adults, or older souls, may not find the map useful or meaningful. Continuing - Soul Age is not a map that is imposed upon Sentience, any more than the aging body is imposed upon a Personality. It is simply part of the nature of evolution and maturity. In other words, there are no requirements for that maturity and evolution, only markers. Soul Age is a map that we generated from learning about how our Essences learn and evolve, though that evolution was already long in place before the map was generated. The map of Soul Ages is cyclical, and not linear, despite the apparent progression. Regardless of Soul Age, EVERY Personality is born "reset" to an Infant Soul status of consciousness, and must, if the Personality chooses to do so, find its way back into whatever Age and Level of consciousness and maturity the Essence has reached previously. To some extent, the same could be said for the Essence at every new LEVEL within a Soul Age, and especially at every new Soul Age. For the Personality, this may make sense, since the vehicle is completely new; a new brain and body that must adjust to and share the life with Essence, if it chooses to do so. However, for every new Level, Essence also "resets" and cycles back through what it has learned to that point, and must then build upon that, much like the Personality must regain consciousness over the lifetime to a point that can then draw upon Essence's history. Before we elaborate further, we will take up to 3 questions relevant to what we have shared so far. ***QUEUE OPEN FOR 3 QUESTIONS*** [Question] "Cyclical, not linear" - I visualize the "levels" as being in line with each other, e.g. all 6s "above" each other - a spiral MEntity: That is "exactly" how it is. We qualify the word "exactly" because we mean it only in terms of a visual interpretation. That is a fair and accurate visual. When one is in the 6th Level of any Soul Age, all other 6th Levels are activated and explored. That "activation and exploration" are on an Essence level for the most part, but would also be relevant to which lifetimes tend to be resonant to that lifetime. We think some insight might be gained from the recursive sequence of what has come to be called the "Fibonacci Spiral." [Question] I would like to ask for an elaboration of Essence resetting when a new level is achieved within the same lifetime, i.e., as XXX did. Is this why she is recycling through earlier levels as Essence resets? MEntity: That "resetting" is relevant to what we have come to describe as the Internal Monads. There are Internal Monads that the Physical Body and Personality build through, and Internal Monads that Essence builds through. Every Level of Soul Age is a pass through 7 Internal Monads. Every Personality's progress through its own Internal Monads contributes to the progression of Essence through its own Internal Monads. Every Personality starts over with the First Internal Monad in every lifetime, no matter how far a previous Personality has progressed in a previous life. Every Essence starts over with a First Internal Monad in every new Level, because each Level is a completion, or cycle through, 7 Internal Monads. To help clarify: Every Personality goes through a progress of "waking up" within a lifetime because it is a completely new lifetime. Every Essence goes through a progress of "waking up" within a new Level, because it is a completely new Level. A simple metaphor might be that Essence entering a new Level from a previous Level is like an evolving Personality might enter a new relationship after having been in a previous relationship, or moving to a new city after having lived in a different city before. It is not that all is lost, so much as that all that has been learned must now be applied in a fresh context. [Question] How does one explain the soul that remembers a prior life under 5 years of age? Did these essences choose to remember their soul age? MEntity: It can take UP TO 7 years for a new Personality to embrace and bring through, so to speak, Essence, but for the older souls, that time is often much shorter. The greater the level of maturity or consciousness that Essence brings to a new life, the greater the resource that the new Personality can access, if it chooses to do so. Depending upon the culture and imprinting that is the environment for the new Personality, the child may not only bring Essence in more quickly, but that child's filters may also allow for those "memories" to flow freely. In some societies, such as some within India, reproductive imagination is encouraged in children and they are "allowed" to voice memories that defy reason. In other societies, such as in the United States, those memories are not encouraged, and creative imagination is encouraged over reproductive imagination. Every lifetime, regardless of the fact that it is new, with a new body, and new Personality, will always be built upon the Instinctive Center of the "previous" lifetime, carried forth like a disc from one body to the next by Essence. That Instinctive Disc, if you will, is the mini-Akashic Records of that particular Essence, and depending upon the level of consciousness accessible to the new Personality, can be read and accessed by that new Personality. [Question] Follow up: how do we create a stage for the child to bring in essence and allow memories to flow freely? MEntity: There is no real way to create that stage in a way that prompts the memories, but there are ways that one can encourage the exploration of those memories when the child begins to speak of them, if he or she does so. A child will either speak of them, or not, depending upon that Personality's personal process of regaining consciousness. If the environment is open to that, and the Personality speaks of these memories, then the validation can occur. However, to prompt a child to speak of past life memories, rather than simply allow for that child to speak of them if he or she does so, can often lead to false memories, confusion, and delusions. In short, simply paying attention and being open is enough. Responding to "Dracula": The impact and extraction of knowledge from experiences is subjective, but the markers are static. [Question] Static, not "objective"? MEntity: This might be understood through the metaphor of passing through a city that has specific streets that will crossed on the way through, but different speeds and vehicles may be used to pass. In addition to that, some may rest, some may crash, some may backtrack, some may sight-see, but all of those variations will not change the terrain. We chose the word "static" because, though the markers may remain in place, even the interpretation of them will be subjective. Much like the fact that a city may have a definitive terrain, but many maps to highlight various ways through it, depending upon the interest of the one choosing the map. We will continue with the topic and return to questions in a moment. We have already mentioned this in response to questions, but we will elaborate here on the Soul Age process: One Internal Monad is a level of maturity, awareness, consciousness gained by a Personality or multiple Personalties over lifetimes; 7 Internal Monads = 1 Level of a Soul Age; there are 7 Levels within a Soul Age; there are 7 Soul Ages for Essence. An Internal Monad is a process of resolving a division; a kind of return to wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts. For instance, the 1st Internal Monad is the resolution between Physical and Essence that is "life." By the way, just "being born" is not necessarily a completed 1st Internal Monad, but we will elaborate upon the Internal Monads in another discussion. Understanding that Soul Ages are built from these processes of resolution can help one to see the vast beauty and magnitude of what it means to evolve, growing from fragmentation, through resolution, and returning to wholeness. Every Level then is one layer, or one dimension, of fragmentation "healed" for Essence, or more accurately put, "regained." When your Essence chooses a Role, it carries forth its own kind of "disc" into that new Grand Cycle of lives as that new Role and new sentient species, but in every other sense, it fragments itself and loses all "memory" of anything "before." Therefore, it could be said that every fragment is in a process of collecting itself back from the universe in which it is exploring. In the same way that we exist as fragments of Tao that eventually return, so are each of you fragmented "out" into your Grand Cycle "ahead of you," and then the compulsion toward wholeness propels the cycle. In a very simplistic and crude description, every Essence "hides" fragments of itself throughout the universe, and the process of evolution is the recovery of those fragments. That process of recovery is different for every Soul Age. For the Infant Soul, this process comes from tangible contact with the world, a kind of feeling around in the dark, and relies greatly upon TOUCH as the navigating tool. For the Baby Soul, this process of recovery comes from extremes of experiences, a kind of tight-rope walking that can find most of itself in every fall from the rope, relying greatly upon BALANCE as the navigating tool. For the Young Soul, this process of recovery comes from opportunities and investments, or indulgences, toward its greatest idea of itself; a kind of constant following of a frequency or tone, making HEARING one of its primary tools for navigation. For the Mature Soul, this process of recovery comes from recognition and empathy, finding and recovering extensions of the self that reside in others, making SIGHT a primary navigational tool. For the Old Soul, this process of recovery comes from pleasure, reunion, happiness, and play, because it can now recover the parts of self that never stopped to enjoy so many things along the way, making SMELL/TASTE a primary navigational tool. When we associate these senses with the Soul Ages as navigational tools, they are not always so direct and literal, but often they are. For instance, in a Young Soul society, music tends to blossom and evolve as a primary medium because "hearing" is so pronounced. Other Soul Ages enjoy music, of course, but for other reasons. For instance, in the United States, the "music industry" is heavily populated by Young Souls, and Young Souls are attracted to that medium of recovery in droves. The phrase "marching to the beat of a different drummer" is a Young Soul phrase because Identity is so important to the Young Soul. This is NOT to say that music is synonymous with Young Souls, but that Young Souls tend toward SOUND, both literally and figuratively, as a means of recovering fragments of Essence, or finding themselves, so to speak. Young Souls are often the loudest among you. A Mature Soul may use music to explore himself, express, or heal himself, but not necessarily as a way to recover or find himself. As your world moved into Mature Soul consciousness, you can see the shift from Radio to TV, for instance, or from music to videos. Even the phone is on its way to being replaced by video conferencing because the Mature Soul uses SIGHT as a means of navigating for recovery of itself. The Old Soul recovers itself through remembering how to enjoy living and being in a body, so two very primitive senses are called upon: smell and taste, which are fairly dependent upon each other, and help the body and Personality toward that which feels good. Smell and Taste affect the entire system that is the Body and the Personality, bringing a synthesis when allowed. In other words, the more an Old Soul allows itself to enjoy, love, accept, and live through its body, the more it recovers its fragments of self and returns to a wholeness. Briefly, the Transcendental Soul uses Orientation and the Infinite Soul uses Relationality as navigational tools for the recovery of fragments. Of course, on the scale of the Infinite Soul, those fragments are all Essences relative to that species of Sentience. Another way to understand the Soul Ages from a student's perspective, and not necessarily as a generalized perspective, would be by seeing the polarities of the Soul Ages and how those may manifest through a Personality. To accommodate the limitation of time for this chat, we will quickly share those: The Infant Soul manifests Positively as INNOCENCE, and Negatively as DISSONANCE. The Baby Soul manifests Positively as REFLECTION, and Negatively as REJECTION. The Young Soul manifests Positively as ACCOMPLISHED, and Negatively as ENTITLED. The Mature Soul manifests Positively as PERCEPTIVE, and Negatively as PROJECTIVE. The Old Soul manifests Positively as INCLUSIVE, and Negatively as EXCLUSIVE. Though we can elaborate upon all of these, we will quickly say that the Mature Soul, when manifesting Positively, is capable of seeing beyond the obvious, the logical, the superficial, and does not require "reasons" for what is known. It simply Perceives. It can truly SEE. The Mature Soul manifesting Negatively loses its capacity to Perceive and simply Projects, turning everyone into props and players for his or her own drama, never truly seeing others because of the preoccupation with seeing (finding) the self. The Old Soul manifesting Positively is Inclusive because everything and everyone is experienced as a part of the greater whole, including all of the previous Soul Ages within itself. This leads to an adaptability that allows for finding parts of the self in places and people it never would have thought of on its own, if you will. This Old Soul can draw upon its previous tools for navigation at will because it has accepted those tools, and will use them appropriately to navigate or understand those in younger Soul Ages. Everything is experienced and interpreted as "food for the soul," so to speak. The Old Soul manifesting Negatively become Exclusionary, aligning itself only with the "like-minded," seeking refuge and intimacy only those who feel "safe," and even then keeping a wall of isolation around the self as part of the interaction. This dependence upon the condition of safety never allows the Personality and Body to enjoy the life to the fullest, often resorting to the forming of secrets, imaginary relationships, and the equivalent of soul masturbation. Keep in mind that the Negative Poles we describe are a part of the spectrum and process for any term we are describing, and do not indicate what not to do or be. They simply describe the more limited end of that spectrum, as well as the end through which all will enter in that context. For instance, ALL Old Souls will go through an Exclusionary phase before it will move into an Inclusionary phase. That is natural. [Question] You mean within a single lifetime? MEntity: ALL Mature Souls will move through a Projective phase before it can Perceive. That would depend upon the individual, but for the most part, yes. Every Old Soul within each of its Old Soul lifetimes will still have to regain the consciousness of that Old Soul awareness, and that means the Personality would go back through a phase of Exclusion before Inclusion. As every Old Soul in this "room" can attest, if there is an honest assessment, the Exclusionary phase is all too familiar. We will open the floor for questions, but will end our responses in 15 minutes to accommodate our channel's and students' time limitations. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** [Question] You said in an earlier chat that Religion was the playground of the baby soul and Politics was the playground of the Young soul. What are the equivalent structures for the other ages (especially Mature Soul)? My guess is "Community" MEntity: We could say that RELATIONSHIPS are the playground of the Mature Soul, and IMAGINATION is the playground for the Old Soul, and THE UNKNOWN is the playground of the Infant Soul. By extension, "Community" would be included in Relationships. [Question] Hello Michael Could you elaborate, or give pointers as to (learn) how to access our mini-Akashic disc you mentioned? MEntity: The greatest direct access each of you have to your Instinctive Centers/Akashic Records is IMPULSES. Impulses are prompts that stem from the Instinctive Center in a way that each fragment eventually learns to read/interpret, and trust. Impulses are not the same as Compulses, as Impulses always include Choice, whereas Compulsions feel as if one has no choice. Impulses will always lead the Personality along paths that are a part of the higher pattern of its existence, and of Essence. Those Impulses are directly from one's Instinctive Center and directly relevant to the current lifetime in some way. Impulses are not indications of a "right" way to do something, or a "right" thing to do, direction to go, choice to make, etc., but simply indicative of possibilities relevant to what is active in those personal records. [Question] Would that be what feels like that "little voice inside" - same as intuition? MEntity: Yes, that is often how Personalities interpret the Impulses, however, there is a difference between Intuition and Impulse. Intuition is a synthesis of information gathered from various senses and sources that then must be interpreted, whereas an Impulse is a kind of immediate Knowing. For instance, one might use Intuition to help decide which city or part of city to move to, or which home "feels" right, but an Impulse would be the Knowing that it is time to move. It could be said that Intuition can be a navigational tool for fulfilling an Impulse. [Question] I am 7th Level Old and my husband is 7th Level Mature -- I have been thinking for some time that this is not a coincidence -- from the perspective of our soul levels discussion today and in a way that would be relative to everyone -- please comment. MEntity: That would be valid, Maureen. Fragments will often find themselves in association with, relationship with, attracted to, repulsed by, those who share the same LEVEL, but different Soul Age. This is part of the process for a fragment to cycle (back) through a Level. Though an Essence may be a 5th Level Old Soul, clearly having moved beyond the 5th Levels of the previous Soul Ages, it does not mean the value of revisiting or exploring those levels within is meaningless, concluded, or lost. This is part of the spiral we described earlier.     7th Internal Monad

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2005] [Annsge] Does the 7th Internal Monad always mean physical death? [MEntity] No, but only rarely. Those who transit a Soul Age within one lifetime will go through a psychological “death” of sorts, and during the process, despite being alive, the 7th Internal Monad would apply. By extension, a new “Birth” would also result. However, in these rare cases of Soul Age transition within a lifetime, there is also an overall “arc” of the 7 Internal Monads that remain within the context of physical aging. The 7th Internal Monad is almost always a physical death and how that death’s impact is processed by the fragment and his remaining family and friends. This Internal Monad, as we said, can also be WITHOUT a physical death, but through a major, pivotal, transitional, transformation in the psychological makeup of a fragment shifting in Soul Age within a lifetime. [Tibtyc] Could you clarify “arc”? [MEntity] Physical Birth to Physical Death could be described as “the Arc of Internal Monads.” Psychological Birth to Psychological Death could be described then as a “Cycle of Internal Monads.” A Cycle is all that is necessary to be completed in the process of moving from one Soul Age or Level to another, so for many Older Souls, physical death is not necessary to begin the new perceptions. This process is not popular. Most fragments choose to reflect from outside of the lifetime, in review, rather than to implement such high awareness from within the demands of Physicality. [Tibtyc] This would be a review within a lifetime, of that lifetime? [MEntity] Yes. Review is always necessary in the process of creating a new cycle of Internal Monads. This process can be quite demanding and challenging while within the lifetime. Once a Soul Age or Level has been transited within a lifetime, it will usually take the next 7 months for Review, and the next 7 years for implementation of the new perception.

If those who remain are left devastated, deeply attached, and profoundly tied to the physical version of oneself, then one has not successfully “died.” The death, itself, is only the beginning, and the stages involved are done post-death, by working with those still incarnated in processing their grief.
  21. Michael Speaks 051009 OPEN FLOOR [Michael Entity] Hello to everyone. We are here. We will begin with a response to the question from Geraldine. [Geraldine] Hello, Michael. I've been reviewing information on concurrent incarnations and would like some additional information about their mechanics--such as: 1) what soul age primarily utilizes them; 2) if one concurrent finishes the IMs in positive pole, does this cause the others to undergo a level change; 3) if one concurrent causes karmic ribbons, does this affect the other concurrents; 4) do concurrents have substantially different overleaves, trues to accomplish, and agreements; 5) do concurrents finish out a round of incarnations before beginning a new round of incarnations or is there a more or less continual launching of a new concurrent as another one dies; and/or, of course, anything you might add to explain how concurrents work. [Michael Entity] We will respond to each question: In response to question 1: Though there is no rule to the use of concurrents by an Essence, there does tend to be more use of these in the Mature and Old Soul Levels. Another factor that can contribute to the use of more concurrents is the amount of land that is being utilized by that sentient race. If many fragments from that species are spread in many directions, this can tend to influence any Essence, regardless of Soul Age, to incarnate in multiple bodies. In response to question 2: Keep in mind that Internal Monads happen on two different levels and we will work with our channels to help encourage a clearer differentiation. There are Internal Monads relative to the aging of the body, and there are Internal Monads relative to the aging of the Soul. With that in mind, the Internal Monads of the body are specific to a concurrent, but the Internal Monads relative to Essence are contributed to by all bodies. In response to question 3: While the concurrents are incarnated, the karmic ribbons generated are specific to those bodies and have no bearing on the other bodies incarnated at the same time; however, those unburned ribbons will carry into other lifetimes as usual. In response to question 4: Each concurrent is no different from the idea that you may have for the more linear incarnations. They are each their own. Each will have its own set of Overleaves, "Trues," and Agreements. The degree to which they may be similar or different is simply a matter of agenda for the Essence choosing to incarnate in these multiple bodies. In response to question 5: To Essence, incarnating through multiple bodies is no different from incarnating in a more linear fashion, so the evolution will occur on the terms of Essence, however we do tend to see a pattern of concurrents exiting for the sake of review before launching a new "round" of concurrents, if that would be the choice of Essence to do so again. [luluaussi] does good work by one concurrent affect the progress of the essence as a whole? or is that too specific to the concurrent doing the work? [Michael Entity] In response to Toni: The "Good Work" of a concurrent is relative to that Personality's Life Task, and by extension, the fulfillment of any Life Task is beneficial for Essence. [luluaussi] ok thanks [Martha] IMs relative to the soul - what are those? How we progress through soul levels? [RabidNelson] I think they mean the "External Monads", the teacher/student, master/slave, etc. kind of experiences [Martha] ooohh [Michael Entity] In response to Martha: Yes, each Soul Level is only able to be transited when completing 7 Internal Monads. As many of our students know, there are several lifetimes involved in processing an Internal Monad. The body and Personality may have reached 40 years old and moved on into retirement stages, for instance, but this does not mean the challenges of the 4th Internal Monad were completed in terms of contributing to the evolution of Essence. In fact, the 7 Levels of any Soul Age Level ARE the 7 Internal Monads. In response to Jonathan; no, we were speaking of the Internal Monads, the 7 rites of passage that each fragment passes through in relation to itself as a means of evolution, not only of the body, but of the soul. [luluaussi] Then if I am understanding this, our casting placements in concurrents are the same, but with the "lifetime" particulars different, each having the same global job but through a different lens; the multiple lives serve to accelerate the essences development? [Michael Entity] In response to Toni: Everything relative to the design of Essence remains consistent. Only the Personality dynamics would change. [luluaussi] ok [Geraldine] I definitely would like to see additional differentiation on IMs . . .as I thought that if one incarnation of Personality didn't complete a particular IM in positive, the next incarnation had to complete it before progressing to the next IM -- this would imply that concurrents would then do additional incarnations to complete IMs [Michael Entity] Next Question: "Feisty" [fiestycappy78] I have recently had an inner realization reading a book on Adviata/Non-Duality (The Outrageous Myths of Enlightenment by Stephen Wingate). Where do your teachings fit in with the main teaching of Advaita, which says that Consciousness Is-And we are THAT. There is no separate self. The separate self is an illusion. My question, specifically, is around the idea of CHOICE and FREE WILL. Michael always speaks of CHOICE, but who has CHOICE if there is only ONE...? Isn't choice by the personality/Ego merely an illusion? [jon] good question ? [Michael Entity] Our response to this would be that there is validity to that philosophy, but as with many higher philosophies, they are rather tunnel-visioned. Of course, if one were to look at the original source (Tao, God, All-That-Is, etc.) and see that this ultimate force generated this universe, it could be easy to say, "where was my choice in this?" However, we encourage you to look at your current lifetime for that answer. It may be true that your parents birthed you and therefore, "you" had no choice in being born, but what you have done since that point HAS been your choice. With that in mind, we suggest looking at the parameters of Choice as being more accurately understood as Choices WITHIN. In other words, "you" may not have chosen to be created as a Personality, but you DO have choice WITHIN the life that you have. You may have limitations on certain aspects of life due to physiological, psychological, geographical, socio-economical parameters, but you do have choice WITHIN those limitations. Choice exists on all levels, even down to the cellular and subatomic levels, however the magnitude of impact and parameters increase the "higher" one goes. On cellular levels, for instance, choice is atomic, simply used as a matter of navigation. [fiestycappy78] Who has this choice? The personality/Ego? I have seen that the personality/EGO is not real...it is a collection of memories, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, self-image. So, who has the choice? Essence? [Michael Entity] The "who" of the choice-making is relative to the context. The more limited the context, the more linear the choice-making. The broader the context, the higher the consciousness used, and the more non-linear the choice-making. In the end, it is ALL "you," though the more linear aspects may disagree. And that is their prerogative. The more limited the choice, the more power the choice-maker has in that context. Think of the horse and rider, with the rider being Essence and the Personality being the horse. The horse will always have the specific details about the more limited contexts of where to step next, and can always buck the rider, if he chooses to do so. Or they can work together with one seeing the higher perspective for guidance, while the more focused perspective can navigate the terrain. Within a lifetime, both Essence and Personality have choice. However, Personality has the ultimate power of choice within the lifetime. Essence will not interfere with the choices of Personality. Personality can choose to reject Essence and navigate the life completely "on its own." However, Personality eventually learns how to manifest Essence and co-create the life through choices that are made on the levels of Personality, and leaving the higher patterns to Essence. If any of you choose to see yourselves as illusions and that your lives are merely the products of some higher force's choices, you are missing the point. But that is your choice. We would not agree with the philosophies that render the ego, the personality, or the lifetime as merely illusions. That is a perspective lacking in compassion and awareness, as your collections of memories, thoughts, beliefs, self-image are as "real" to YOU as any other level of reality is "real" to the observer that is "there." We are certain that "Tao" knows of all of us as being as "real" as itself, much like any creator of expression or art, or builder of plans, or teacher of thought would think of the creation, structure, or impact as having as much life and validity as the creator, builder, teacher, etc. We would think it very difficult for any of you to prove you and your experiences are merely illusion, which is not to say that many of you cloud the experiences and often sensationalize the journey with unwarranted fears, but that is part of the human experience and you eventually clear the way. Until you clear the way, even the clouding and distortion is as "real" as it is to you, until it is not. [fiestycappy78] Okay...I understand both perspectives, and I think that I will have to keep looking into my own experience... [Michael Entity] "Feisty," that is a fair analysis: that both perspectives hold valid truths. Next question: Martha [Martha] Last week you talked on TLE radio about it getting uncomfortable for older souls around feeling "authentic". This is something I am currently working on. It feels wrong somehow to not be myself, especially at work, or social settings, but then if I am completely myself in all situations then I out myself as being "not normal". And it's hard to have to deal with that over mundane issues, seems like it would add unnecessary complexity to some aspects of life. Can you elaborate on this issue? [Michael Entity] Martha, this is a common dilemma for the Older Souls and is rooted in what we refer to as Self-Karma, the internal divisions within the self that seek resolution. This particular Self-Karma can be described as a battle between honest expression and censorship. To most Older Souls, censorship feels repulsive, and this is amplified for the Expressive Roles. In fact we would be hard-pressed to find any valid Old Soul who supported any form of censorship. Censoring oneself as a means to "fit in" feels like one is a "walking lie," or liar, and enforcing censorship upon others is something we have never seen an Old Soul impose. [Martha] yes it does feel like that [Michael Entity] How others see you has no bearing on who you are. It is not always a matter of integrity in expression that your Being be clearly reflected back to you through those around you. In fact, being able to adapt to certain social contexts is a skill implemented by the Older Soul (begrudgingly, but a skill, nonetheless) and not a curse. The feeling of "not being yourself" has no bearing on your levels of honesty, nor your integrity of Being. Ultimately, all fragments extant will find themselves in contexts where they can say, "This is who I am," and other contexts where they say, "This is who I must be." In those instances where one feels one "must be," it would then be up to you to determine if this is a context worth sustaining in your life, or if it is time to move from that context. For many, the "must be" context is required for the self to draw an income, maintain peace in a relationship, fulfill responsibilities, etc. Many fragments "must be" a parent, even when they do not want to be. Many fragments "must be" at work, even when they do not want to be. The experience in sustaining these contexts, even through those bad days, is the implementation of your higher perspective, or manifesting of Essence, since you can see the payoff and the necessity of your choice. In those instances that you have decided that the context is worth it, then it would do you well to recognize that you have made an honest choice, ironically upholding the integrity of your Being, your soul and personality, since you know this is a context that gives back to you in a way that is valuable for other areas where you feel you "can be yourself." Eventually, the Personality will find little discrepancy in itself between one context and another, especially as one owns the fact that those contexts are being sustained by choice, even if only "for now." We will also note that every fragment can find at least one other fragment in which to confide and "be herself" in any context where one feels limited. This relationship is one that can be found with some amount of discernment and patience, provided one is not being held captive and against one's will, which is a karmic situation, not a situation of choice. [Martha] clearly then it's crucial to have some areas where you can be yourself [jon] Is it ever truly required for a fragment to stay in one of those contexts? For example, you may need a job to eat and stay alive, or one could be a slave, required to act a certain way or die [Michael Entity] Jon, Slavery is often not a matter of choice, but the same concepts would apply within those stricter limitations: one's imposed environment does not destroy who one IS, even in the most horrific conditions lacking choice, and confidence in at least one other fragment is often available even within those conditions. [Martha] thanks [Diane_H] Great question Martha [Michael Entity] Next question: Toni [luluaussi] hello Michaels. in regard to the approaching nexus: It seems that fear and greed is running neck and neck during these economic times with events such as the bulldozing of foreclosure properties in California which seem not only wasteful but without any real thought to "creating" only destroying ...could you comment on this in terms of the upcoming Nexus....does the radical restructuring of the global economy and our connections to each other, how people view their participation in this process come into play with the new platform? [Michael Entity] In terms relative to the upcoming Nexus and these situations that seem to indicate such destructive factors and forces, the Nexus toward the end of the month may actually bring about some relief, as it appears to be a movement toward generating realities of solutions, choices, and footing. However, in the larger scheme of things, this force of destruction is, so far, a result of resistance by Baby and Young to the Mature Soul paradigm. However painfully or dramatically the evolution moves, we do not see many probabilities where a new paradigm of Resource-Based Economy does not take root in your world.. [luluaussi] how can we proceed to as older souls to navigate through these times most effectively [Diane_H] (Thank God) [luluaussi] yes! [Michael Entity] The loss of so much property, prosperity, and the experience of this being in the hands of forces beyond those of "the people" is no longer of interest to your average level of sentience. [Geraldine] My observation is that most old souls were likely least affected by much of the economic turmoil as they are less material-oriented [fiestycappy78] that is certainly true in my case. I had nothing to lose! [Michael Entity] What we would suggest for the Older Soul as a means to navigate what might seem to be the tougher, challenging times of your economy and society is for the Older Soul to choose the higher perspective of trust in the evolution of your species as a whole, which is in evidence at every turn, despite the media emphasis on the more entertaining snags and dragging of feet, as well as a focus on how to increase the joy in your own life as a means to be a source of what you might consider to be a "positive force" in your world. [Geraldine] me, too -- I already was at the bottom due to early parts of the turmoil a few years ago -- and had already changed my perspective -- my volunteering will continue [luluaussi] ah ....you have indicated to me earlier that my own platform choices have been about balance between responsibility and playfulness I can see where this makes sense [Michael Entity] It is true that many of our Older Students see the impending changes and "destruction" as something that is happening "out there," in much the same way that the parent may see the growing pains of a teen, doing all one can to encourage a healthy direction, but knowing that the teen will do what he will do to learn. [luluaussi] thank you Michael [Michael Entity] Next question: Cheryl [oceancheryl] Could you please share your perspective of the recent Twin Oaks gathering? The energy felt very intense there, and I am wondering what kind of work we all were/are doing on levels other than the physical. I still feel like I am doing a lot of processing from the gathering. [Michael Entity] There are a multitude of levels, agreements, and exchanges that are too many to go into here, but we can say that the overall theme for all involved was one of increasing the experience of, and the implementation of, Agape. To the extent that one may have felt challenges in feeling loved, or being loving, in the true sense of the word, Agape, is the extent to which one may have continued to feel the effects from the gathering. A great amount of healing was generated during the gathering, and this sense of encouraged alignment left one with a clearer internal perspective as to what is inspiring in one's life, what is not, and what one wants to do next, if that internal perspective is willing to be explored. [oceancheryl] thank you michael [Michael Entity] Next Question: Tuija [tkmppi] What is the greatest possible difference in Soul age and level between Essence Twins? [Michael Entity] Tuija, we have never seen the Soul Ages between Essence Twins to be more than 3 Levels in difference, but knowing the flexibility of our universe, there are probably exceptions. Last Question: Jon [jon] What is stress? And what are good ways of reducing it (or at least its harmful effects)? [Michael Entity] We would define Stress, in this case, as Unwarranted Pressure, outwardly or inwardly. Outwardly, this could be said to be Resistance. Inwardly, this could be said to be Anxiety. Resistance and Anxiety are forms of defensiveness against that which has been deemed an imposition of Time or Space. Resistance is a defense against the demands of Space, or your environment, and Anxiety is a defense against the demands of Time. Ways of reducing Stress would be to update your perceptions and actions to relieve you of this unwarranted Pressure. Much of what is experienced as Stressful are situations that are more anticipatory than real. When one can update the perceptions to focus only on that which is tangible, then navigation through time or space can move more comfortably and freely. Friction is a natural part of life. In all lifetimes, through all Soul Ages and by all Essences, Friction will be experienced until the "end." Friction is the experience generated by opposing forces in the life, and in the Positive Pole, it could be said to be Evolution, and the Negative Pole could be said to be Stress. Evolution is the resolution of those opposing forces as a means to move onward; Stress is the defense against those forces as a means to remain in a pseudo state of safety. There are many ways one can relieve stress, such as walking, eating well, meditating, dancing, having outbursts, etc, but the most effective way is in updating the perceptions to manage only that which can be managed, and to allow room for your awareness of the forces of time and space, without the need for defensiveness against them. A more elaborate response might be in order here at some point, but we think this is some food for thought in regard to your question. [jon] Thank you [Michael Entity] We will conclude here.     Fifth Internal Monad

    [Excerpt from Michael Speaks: Internal Monads] [MEntity] The 5th Internal Monad of Recreation is marked by a realization of relief from the need for purpose, meaning, and importance, but finds the emphasis being upon those little things that make the life worth living (on your terms). The life is literally “re-created” in a way that is a new paradigm, free from the burdens of navigation and direction, but entirely embracing of wandering, coasting, and “enjoying the view,” so to speak. The successful completion would often show up as a new enthusiasm for a layer of life that was once cluttered and clouded by over-eagerness and over-anticipation. There is a softness to the life in a way that was never experienced before, and a true joy in many things that would otherwise be dismissed. An incompleted 5th Rite of Passage might show up as bitterness, regret, anger, resentment, and disgust, sometimes concluding that life has no meaning or point, and therefore condemning anyone or anything to pointlessness and meaninglessness.
  23. May 6, 2003 Here is a basic reference for all of the Internal Monads and the symptoms of a completed or incomplete progression. I have the details of each of the Internal Monads, too, but I will have to pull those out another day. -Troy 7 INTERNAL MONADS Each Monad is specifically a marker for the Essence to gauge within the life where it is in terms of what was planned versus what has come to pass. Essence and Personality can sometimes have very different experiences of the lifetime and these markers, or rites of passage, allow the Personality to “upload” all experiences that have come to pass, so Essence can help in the overall creation of the life. At that point new plans can be made, alterations set in place, new people and Agreements and Karma brought in, etc. The Positive Poles are the ability to adapt to the lifetime, whereas the Negative Poles are resistance and basic refusal to adapt to the results of these evaluations. Within a given lifetime there are 7 “rites of passages” that each person passes through as they grow as Personality. A person can pass through these easily or with struggle, depending on where he is with himself in terms of perceptions and experiences. There is no wrong or right way to pass through these Internal Monads, but getting “stuck” in a Monad or passing through in the Negative Pole, can affect the life in many ways and is usually not pleasant to the Personality. Some people defensively “enjoy” where they are when they are “stuck”, and make the best of it. There is no crime in not completing a Monad. In fact, nearly 80% of all fragments DO NOT get through the fourth Monad within one lifetime. To be specific, a “monad” is used here to refer to anything requiring at least two polarities as a means for progression, and is generating experiences completely within it. During your Internal Monads it will feel as if there are at least “two sides” of you, then. One side will be taking a more Positive stance, while the other side gives you the challenges and takes the more Negative stance. This push/pull can create a lot of internal struggle throughout a Monad. The ultimate resolution and completion of a Monad will be in finding the balance within yourself and coming to peace around that particular Monad’s context. SPECIAL NOTE: There is a HUGE misconception in the Michael Community that to pass successfully through an Internal Monad is good, admirable, and better, and somehow lends you more credibility in your expression, while NOT completing or resisting the process of an Internal Monad is undesirable, bad, and the person is dismissed or downplayed as “less than”. That’s just not true. Interaction and communication among some Michael students has gone as far as dismissing those who are only partially through this particular Monad, regardless of how successfully they are progressing. All of us are dealing with varying levels of success in varying parts of our lives, and the 4th Internal Monad is not a defining factor of an individual’s worth. It is rare that a person completes all 7 Internal Monads within one life. Usually only those who are 6th Level to 7th Level within a Soul Age succeed in transiting the 7 Internal Monads within one life. Otherwise, the passages can span several lives. The 7 Internal Monads are the 7 Stages of each Soul Level within the Soul Ages. As a SOUL, we pass through a Soul Age having 7 Levels. On each of those Levels, we may take several lives to pass through that single Level. The 7 Internal Monads are the SUB-levels of each LEVEL within a Soul Age! And, of course, each Internal Monad has its own 7 phases. In order to transit a Soul LEVEL, one must successfully have gone through the 7 Internal Monads during that particular Level, however many lifetimes that takes. In the same way it may take Essence several lives to deal with the experiences during a LEVEL OF SOUL AGE, it can also take a few lifetimes to pass through and process a SINGLE Internal Monad. An Internal Monad is considered “complete” when you have reconciled and resolved the questions of that passage, coming out the other side through the Positive Pole. ALL Internal Monads are entered through the Negative Pole, and are completed if the experience of the Positive Pole can be included. During the process, both Poles will be experienced. If the Internal Monad is incomplete or resting in the Negative Pole, THAT particular Internal Monad will be the bottom-line context for most of your experiences throughout the rest of the life. ALL subsequent Internal Monads are defaulted to the Negative Pole in progression as well, or never even attempted at all. The cool thing is that an incomplete Internal Monad can be completed at ANY point in a life. This means if you are in the middle of your 4th Internal Monad with issues still emanating from the lack of completion of the 2nd Internal Monad, (which, in turn will affect your 3rd Internal Monad), you can address those issues, complete the 2nd and 3rd Internal Monad, thus allowing the successful passage through the present Monad! I am still gathering the details of each Internal Monad and its process. Here is the general path of a lifetime and each Monad. 1. Birth This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Root Chakra, or Instinctive Center (life force). Some people channeling Michael believe that the first and last Internal Monad are always completed because they just happen. This seems logical since you cannot escape death and if you are born, well, you are just born. I disagree. The manner in which you are born, the environment’s impact on the body, any abuses imposed, even smacking the body to bring the baby screaming into the world, can damage the adjustment of the body in relation to the Root Chakra. The Instinctive Center is the ONE Chakra/Center that is carried over from lifetime to lifetime. It is taken from one lifetime like a floppy disk and “inserted” into the next life, carrying deep memories, your Karmic Records, your plans for the life, etc. Imagine getting a brand new computer and inserting a disk with a program on it, then taking that computer and dropping it, or kicking it. Regardless of how incredible that computer is, or what the program is on the disk, this kind of disruption can wreak havoc on the whole system! The goal of progression through the First Internal Monad is to basically ensure the Instinctive Center is stably intact, in harmony with the body, or Essence will not be able to “move in” when it is ready. A soul rarely moves into a body right away, but rather cares for and guides the development of the body, gradually moving in over the first 7 years. Since being born happens many times and in many ways, the Essence and Body/Personality really do get very good at this and become extremely adaptable. This is why it appears logical to some that Birth and Death are always completed. Because the physical aspects of this event are an unavoidable part of being Human, the event is quite familiar to an Older Soul. Early in the cycle of lifetimes, this Monad can be extremely challenging. As an adult, tell-tale signs of an incomplete FIRST Internal Monad are mental instability and the inability to function in society in any meaningful way, having to depend on an institution or caretaker for your most basic needs, separating you from the “real world”, such as being hospitalized for your mental health conditions. As a child, the incomplete First Monad will show most during when the Second Monad is to be played out, turning into tyrannical tantrums and screaming, brutality and refusal. As an adult, a completed First Monad is indicated by being alive and well, healthy in most respects and able to be a part of life in general. As a child, the completed First Monad will show up most obviously during the Second Monad’s playing out, with the child beginning to ask all of the “Why’s” of every iota of experience, sheer curiosity and want for knowing. 2. Autonomy (age 3 or so) This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Higher Moving Center, or Sexual Chakra. As an adult, Tell-tale signs of an incomplete SECOND Internal Monad are Intimacy issues, lack of social skills, bowel problems, preoccupation with remaining under parental care, or a strong need for approval far into your adulthood. As a child, the incomplete Second Internal Monad will show up as soon as Adolescence, with violence, complete rebellion against all things, sexual promiscuity (defined here as having sex to just have it, usually for attention or acceptance, without meaning, curiosity, or relevance on any level), rape, dropping out from all forms of organization. As an adult, a completed Second Monad is usually seen by being able to have sexual intimacy, affection, and a healthy seeking or allowance of that. Parents are seen as people, not resources or reasons for who you are. As a child, the completed Second Monad will show most during the Third Monad (adolescence) as a healthy and completed separation from parental or guardian care, even if only psychologically, and the beginnings of seeking “true love”, dating, consensual sex. 3. Adolescence (age 12 – 20 or so) This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Moving Center, or Power Chakra. Tell-tale signs of an incomplete THIRD Internal Monad show strongly through the Fourth Monad (and beyond, if not addressed) as “authority issues”, rage, constant involvement in confrontation, a preoccupation with “getting attention” and/or acceptance despite destructive behavior, and finding it very important to rally others alongside them for support against something. A completion of the Third Monad usually finds the adult being able to side-step confrontation, usually doesn’t even attract it, is peaceful about differences, recognizes “authority” for what it is and leaves it to its context and allowing those who wish to play that game to do so, rather than being preoccupied with fighting it. 4. Stabilization (age 30 – 50 or so) This is the adjustment of the body and personality in relation to the Emotional Center, or Heart Chakra. Tell-tale signs of an incomplete FOURTH Internal Monad are depression, feeling a lack of “purpose”, feeling lost, “giving up”, anxiety, great fear and/or severe illnesses, apathy. The incompletion begins to show evidence quite currently in that Monad, but even more amplified during the Fifth Internal Monad where the person then displays pure resignation, constant-voiced resentments and preoccupations with the aches and pains of life. Signs of a completed Fourth Monad are seen in the regaining of a sense of innocence, awe, inspiration and purpose, motivation for personal expression and living as one feels compelled, making life personally meaningful. This completion shows strongly when the Fifth Internal Monad begins and there is a sense of want for travel, exploration, an adventurous new move, beginning fun projects and being in groups of like-minded activities. 5. Recreation (age 45 – 65 or so) This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Intellectual Center, or Communication Chakra. Tell-tale signs of an incomplete FIFTH Internal Monad are seen near the beginning of the 6th Monad as early senility, sporadic memory loss, Alzheimer’s, the stereotypical eccentric elderly, a complete regression to emotional memories of the experiences most programmed into the body. Signs of a completed Fifth Monad show during the 6th Monad when there are stories to tell, teachings and anecdotes to pass on, memories to share, a general conclusion and peace settling over the life. If memory does begin to fail, “senility” is replaced with wild, philosophical explorations throughout the emotional memories of the lifetime, along with valid psychic journeys through folding time and space. 6. Reviewing (age 60 to 80 or so) This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Higher Emotional Center, or Brow Chakra. An incomplete 6th Internal Monad shows up as great regret, searches for desperate reconciliation and forgiveness, death-bed wishes and confessions, having never known or accepted love or support and realizing this profoundly, fearing dying. A completed 6th Internal Monad is experienced as peaceful within and without, at ease with the inevitability death, knows love has been experienced and recognizes this profoundly. 7. Death This is the adjustment of the body and Personality in relation to the Higher Intellectual Center, or the Spiritual Chakra. An incomplete SEVENTH Monad can show up as a literal “haunting”, family members and friends grieving deeply and uncontrollably for great, great lengths of time “holding on” to the fragment, and an immediate or overlapping rebirth in a new body. A completed Monad finds “you” moving on, regardless of your method of death, reviewing the life with/as Essence, comforting and “visiting” those who are still physical for a time, if needed, family and friends experiencing “you” as being safe and at peace, letting you go, and being able to plan the next life with insight from all lives having been experienced.

[MEntity] Your description is one way of describing such an experience as not being in an Internal Monad. Internal Monads are not back-to-back. Your 5th Internal Monad is complete. Your 6th Internal Monad is the comprehension of the onset of what it is that will help you exit the life. In other words, now that the 5th Internal Monad has been fulfilled, and in the positive pole, you are simply not “working on” anything, and the point of that positive pole fulfillment is the enjoyment of what you have built from it. [Geraldine] thank you — it definitely feels that way [MEntity] This “floating” sensation is actually the result of losing all attachments to not only your own ideas about who you “should be, or should have been,” but to the ikons, attachments, and cording relative to others who had made such determinations about you. You are truly free.

    Hospital Psychosis

    [Excerpted from a private session originally posted on February 8, 2016] Question: What causes hospital psychosis? Is this psychosis somehow a breaking down of the wall between the physical and astral plane? Do you have advice for others on how to support or assist a loved one who is experiencing this condition? One of the primary contributing factors to the tendency toward "psychosis" in a hospital is that it is teeming with activity that is at the edge of the Physical and Astral. In concentrated areas of healing, intensity, death, recovery, illness, etc. the activity at the edge is at about the maximum level. This is true of hospitals, sanitariums, many prisons, and some cities. When an individual is in her 6th or 7th Internal Monad, or when an individual is in or returning from a deep state of consciousness, this edge is far more accessible. It is not a cause of accelerated death anymore than getting into a car is a cause for a car accident, but the connections are intertwined in such a way as to make differentiation moot. It does accelerate death, and approaching death does accelerate access. From what we can see, the processes of rewiring and/or unwiring of neural networks in the brain are connected to the intensity of access. We know these may not be technical terms, but they will have to work for now. The rewiring process happens in recovery patients and the unwiring process happens in those declining in health. Rewiring can bring access, but it is fleeting and eventually fades, while unwiring expands and deepens the access in ways that allow for not only visual and auditory access to independent structures, but also to project constructs of internal "demons," fears, fantasies, and memories. It is very much how the Astral works, in general. Many who are nearing exit from a life will begin to access this as a means of adapting to a new dimension of consciousness that will come after the exit from the body. In the Physical Plane, the density of matter and the implementation of Time can help to sort through thoughts, feelings, fears, desires so that choices can be made in a creation process leading toward or away from those fears, desires, etc. In the Astral, these filters of matter and time are not as high, so one can be bombarded and overwhelmed. This is where the "life flashed before my eyes" concept comes from, because that is, literally, what happens near or post-death. Upon death, this will happen many times for some until they can control the process and begin Review. For some fragments, this process begins before exiting. This helps the transition to be less shocking, and the access to Review to be more immediately rewarding. So while in the body, the "psychosis" gives access to the dimension that is coming, and learning how to manage that or understand its existence before death tends to be for those whose Essences already planning the next life. ### end of excerpt Note: You can discuss this material within the original post.
