  1. Michael Speaks: Healing and Healers May 8, 2011 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here now. We can begin on the subject of Healing & Healers. We will, first, define "Healing" and "Healers." We will define Healing as "a return to, extraction of, or an imposition of Order from Chaos" and Healer as "that which, or those whom, facilitate the return to, extraction of, or imposition of Order from Chaos." Wounding, however it manifests, is Chaos, or at least seeming Chaos. There are really only 7 ways in which a Body can die, or be wounded. These 7 ways can overlap, and some may be able to refine these to a greater degree than we have through this channel, but those 7 Basic Ways of Wounding/Dying would be: Illness, Poisoning, Impact, Impaling, Suffocation, Starvation/Dehydration, and Natural/Shutdown. Each of these can bring wounding or death, and can be brought to any Body, including the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and "Spiritual" Bodies. Some of the terms would not be so literal in terms of the less-tangible Bodies, but are relevant terms. Death and Wounding are parts of the experience of the Higher Moving Center, which is the spectrum between Chaos and Beauty. Beauty is simply the recognition of patterns versus the lack of recognition of patterns that is Chaos. We use the term "recognition" because often the difference between Chaos and Beauty is a matter of recognition, or perception, and is a relative state. There are those who "suffer" wounding in ways that "should" bring about a great deal of Chaos, but those individuals return to, extract from, or impose a new order from the chaos in a way that is HEALING. There are those who have "no reason" to suffer and have lost all recognition of order, or beauty, in the life, and these individuals can truly be wounded. And so it is that the differences between Wounding and Healing are as "simple" as the differences between Chaos and Beauty. And so it is that the difference between Wounding and Death are the differences between Chaos and Beauty, as well. Wounding is Chaos. Death is Order/Beauty. Every Personality and Lifetime will explore the spectrum between Order and Chaos, but will always end in Order as a means for Review in the afterlife, and Death is that process of returning everything back to Order, or Beauty. Order can also be returned within the life through HEALING, and since not everyone wants to die as a means to regain Order, there is a necessity for HEALERS. This necessity is vital enough that it is one of the 12 Primary Support Positions within any Circle of Support. This means that every single fragment has at least one Healer accessible at all times in every incarnation and beyond. This may seem a rather sweeping generalization as there are many who suffer without apparent access to healing, but this apparent lack of access is a result of complications that are often unnecessary and are products of choice. A society can become rather powerful in imprinting various individuals to only accept the standardized methods and providers of Healing, which may or may not have helped. The Healing that a fragment may require is not always as obvious as his or her wounding. But the Healer and Healing that a fragment most-requires is ALWAYS accessible in some way. The first key in accessing that is through the realization of the fact that no Healer or Healing can actually HEAL; they can only facillitate Healing and Healing Methods. The only one who can ever truly heal you, is you. The individual can always override a Healer and Healing. However, the necessity for Healers is because often the first step to True Healing is in the ASKING FOR HELP. Wounding, or the plunge into Chaos within a lifetime, is a vital part of the experience of living because it is one of the few states or experiences that can be explored that provokes the Universal Truth of Oneness, or in simpler terms, the fact that you are not alone. Ever. Even if the Wounding leads to Death, or if someone's asking for help is still met with Death, the profound validity of that Oneness and the necessity for reaching out, is often registered in ways that are never lost by Essence. The 7 Ways to Die, or 7 Methods of Wounding, correspond to the Axes in ways that can often shed light for Healing and for Healers. Illness and Poisoning are Inspirational-based Woundings/Deaths. Impaling/Impact are Action-based Wounding/Deaths. Suffocation/Starvation are Expression-based Woundings/Deaths; and Shutting Down/Natural methods are Assimilative. Some of these are obvious, and some may not be so clear, and while we offer up these correlations, we will not say that they are rules or static associations. For example, we can say that MOST Illnesses or intaking of Poisons are MOSTLY related to issues of Self-Esteem, which are extensions of the Chief Features of Self-deprecation and Arrogance. This kind of statement can be explored in a multitude of ways. The immune system is directly connected to Self-Esteem, and so it goes that any fluctuation in Self-Esteem is a fluctuation in Immunity. Self-deprecation is almost always at the core of Illness. The toxins that one takes in without question or concern through his or her eating of poor diet, might be an example of Arrogance at the core of slow Poisoning of the body. And so on... There are only 4 ways through which any of these 7 Methods of Wounding/Death can be implemented: Suicide, Homicide, Accident, and Natural, each corresponding to an Axis; Inspirational, Action, Expression, and Assimilative, respectively. Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers. And there are only ever 3 methods of Healing: through Truth, Love, or Energy. Facilitating Order within the Chaos of the Truth, Love, or Energy of an individual. This means that Healers range far beyond those who actively practice Healing, or those who specifically work with the various Bodies. In fact, every single one of you are Healers in at least one other Fragment's Circle of Support in every life. If this were not so, then Healers and Healing would not be so accessible to every fragment. One does not have to identify with being a "healer" to be a Healer. If you help to bring Order to someone's Chaos, you are a Healer. If you help someone to experience, comprehend, see, feel, or hear the Beauty that is inherent in any part of his or her life, you are a Healer. Anyone who can help others to bring Order to the Truth, Love, or Energy in someone's life, is a Healer. Whether this is done actively and consciously, or passively and unconsciously, does not matter. And so it is that each of you will always be in a position to HEAL YOUR OWN LIFE, which by definition simply means to bring Beauty to the Chaos of it, whether this be in Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual form. Bringing Beauty or Order to any part of your life helps to bring that Healing into every Body you are. Often, for instance, the Chaos that is in your Physical Body can only be masked by the treatments offered for the symptoms that this Body exhibits, but the True Healing would come from the Beauty/Order that is brought to your Emotional Body/Life. Much of what passes for Healing is only Treatment. Treatment is necessary, and is not a "bad thing," but it is not Healing. Understanding the various correlations above, and the 3 methods of Healing as they correlate to Wounding, can also shed light on the requirements for True Healing. For instance, those who are Wounded by Illness or Posioning usually require True Love for True Healing. Those who are wounded by Impaling or Impact often require True Order for True Healing; those who are wounded by Suffocation/Starvation often require The Truth for for True Healing. Keep in mind that there is a limitation on language here that can make some of these correlations seem confusing, so we encourage creative understanding here so that the terms are not always literal. For instance, it might sound strange that Impaling or Impact requires True Order/Beauty, but if you think of these Wounding correlations as extensions of Martyrdom and Impatience, both rooted in fears of losing Control, you might see why any healing would require a shift in understanding the nature of Beauty and Order. A fragment who is thrown through a windsheild because of his Impatience might be an example. A fragment who is rendered lifeless because of the "impaling" of her heart by the rejection of a loved one might be another example. Being Wounded and Being Healed are MESSY. There is no hard, clean, perfect correlation, and there is often a great deal of overlapping of correlations, so we offer these insights only as guidelines for those who explore Healing, or need Healing. ALL Wounding is a progression that begins INTELLECTUALLY, then EMOTIONALLY, and then PHYSICALLY. This means that if Wounding has come to the level of Physicality, it is almost assured that there is Wounding "up through" the Emotions and Intellect. When we say "All wounding," we mean ALL. Even "Accidents." This does not mean that Wounding is a fault of the Wounded, but it is often a result of a path of choices, internally and externally, that led to the state that allowed for, or created, the Wounding. Even in cases of Homicide. Again, this is not a matter of fault or choices made on obvious levels, but there is something to the fact that two people can be in the same place at the same time doing the same things and only one is Wounded. [liiona24] Please comment on the validity Of the Reconnection As brought forth by Eric Pearl as " new" Healing energy There is no "new" healing energy. All Healing is essentially the return of Order from Chaos, however that is described or packaged, tangibly or intangibly. There are many illnesses in modern times that are susceptible to "miracles" or "energy healing" because the illness never truly existed in the dimension from which it was diagnosed, such as AIDS, Cancers, several other chronic issues. This is not to say that there are no such things as collapses of immune systems, or Cancers, or other chronic issues, but those categories have a percentage of diagnoses that are valid diagnoses at one point, but because the "illness" is not Physically-rooted, the return of Order to the Emotions, or Intellect, can "cure" the "illness." Often, the return of Order to the Intellect and Emotion does not require Physical Healing, or Treatment, but a simple shift in beliefs or feelings. Energetic Healing can ONLY ever return order to the Intellect or Emotion, which may then result in being reflected Physically, of course. When we say "Energetic" here, we refer to those practices that would not require Physical contact in any way. In short, to clarify with Marion: we think the idea of "The Reconnection" is more likely a "Repackaging" of ideals and energies that have always been available. This is not to say that the repackaging is "bad," because even our own teaching requires repackaging for different students with different capacities for hearing us. [Nicholas] When Dr. Pearl and others refer to "new" healing, could they be referring to the validity that as a collective, we are opening up to more possibilities of healing as a reflection of the shift to Mature Soul paradigm? In response to Nicholas: we cannot speak on the behalf of the fragment who is known as "Dr. Pearl," or his associates, but we can say that a Mature-based Paradigm would have far more validity to the concept of "Energetic" healing, since most Emotional and Intellectual Wounding would also be considered as valid. In a Young-based paradigm, most Healing is only considered valid on the levels of the tangible. It is only in recent years, relatively speaking, that the concept of Therapy was considered something of validity."Therapy," in terms of Psychologists, Pscyho-, etc. [TimW] Can you please elaborate a little more on what you said, "Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers"? Possibly a couple of examples with relation to physical "energetic" healing (if time permits)? For example, Tim, those who are wounded from attempted Homicide would clearly benefit from healing that focuses on the Action Axis, so that a sense of Order for that individual's Time or Space is vital, or put another way: that the Martyrom and Impatience is addressed. Those who suffer from the wounding of attempted Homicides do well to have had their sense of Control brought into focus for their lives in some way, because Homicide, or Impaling/Impact, on a Body CAN throw the entire life into absolute lack of control. For those who are wounded by the methods of Suicide, it is vital that Inspiration is brought back into his or her life. Suicides are usually the result of Inspirational elements collapsing into Chaos, so a return to Order in that context can help bring about True Healing. We realize that "Suicide" is also the Negative Pole of Self-destruction, which is an Expression Axis Chief Feature, but this is another example of Context. In the context of Methods for implementing Wounding, Suicide correlates to Inspiration. In the context of Results of Fear, Suicide correlates to Expression. For those who are Wounded by Accidents, there is a necessity for those fragments to understand "the message" in the "Accident," as all Accidents are Expressions, or Messages. In fact, there are no "accidents," but it is a valid category for understanding how Wounding is implemented, and Accidents equal Messages. Healers, then, would help that fragment to understand what "lesson" or "message" might have been in the accident. [Diane_H] Can you explain the difference between Intellectual and Emotional healing? Are they often intertwined? Intellectual Healing would require the Order returned to the Intellect, or the Intellectual Center to return to the Positive Pole of INSIGHT. This is usually a matter of returning the fragment to a state of honesty about his or her life in a way that brings that Insight, instead of a chronic state of REASON. A chronic state of Reason will bring the Intellect into a constant state of overdrive, looking for patterns that are not there, or creating patterns that are not valid, forcing justifications, reasons, explanations for that which is not understood. This, then, can lead to affect the Emotional Center in a way that pulls the Emotions into a chronic state of Negative Pole, which is Sentimentality. Sentimentality is the confusion and blurring between Symbols and Meanings, and when Symbols and Meanings become confused, Beliefs are generated. And so the Intellect that forced a false pattern then begins to believe it in the Emotions. A simplistic example would be in one who might Think that someone's intentions were to hurt her, and so begins to believe that this person did hurt her, because she can feel that hurt. But the truth will have been that she forced an explanation or a reason for someone else's choices that she did not like, and then the person who symbolized "Love" for her is gone, so that means "love" is also gone, and now she has become Intellectually and Emotionally wounded. To bring Healing to her Emotionally, she will have to regain the Order that allows for a person to symbolize Love, but does not confuse the conduit of Love for Love, itself. [Diane_H] So it could be said that Intellectual wounding comes from one's interpretation of symbols, and Emotional wounding is the emotion that result from it? If the Healing is not addressed Intellectually or Emotionally, it can then move into Physicality, and she will either open up to, or create a path to, Homicide, Suicide, Accident, or Natural methods of implementing one of the 7 Woundings. Yes, Diane, that could be one way of describing a pattern, though we might clarify the statement to read: Intellectual Wounding can come from False or Forced Interpretation, and Emotional Wounding is the Belief/Feelings that support in that Falsehood or Forced Interpretation. [Kathryn41] I assume that 'wounding' can also be a 'choice' for a life experience, but how often does the choice to experience one type of wounding lead to a collateral type of wounding, for example, a consequence of choosing a body type that allows for the chosen wounding to occur but experiencing an additional injury/illness that came along because of that body type? We will say here that it is rare that Wounding is CHOSEN, though sometimes, it is. What is a more accurate way to understand the nature of Choice, in this regard, is that Wounding is often a RESULT of Choices. [Kathryn41] the example I can use is a child with type 1 diabetes - born with the condition - a chosen condition more easily manifested in lunar body and then later in life experiencing another type of injury for which the lunar body is especially susceptible A Body Type is chosen that may have predispositions to certain health issues or deformities, but it was not necessarily the health issues or deformities that were chosen, but that they were hooked in to other choices that were more important as priorities. For instance, an Essence may have thought it was a great idea, or a great method for balancing Karma, to choose a Body Type that may lend itself to a sort of dependency that allowed for kindness, patience, and Love to come into the experiences of the Personality, from within and without. Often these "great ideas" go in all kinds of directions once the life is in motion, but that is part of the Chaos and Beauty that is inherent in any life, even in the most-perfect of body with the most-perfect of plans and Karma-free life. [Oscar] What would those wounded by natural/shutting down need for True Healing, or is there no healing possible since it's natural? UNDERSTANDING. That is all. Those who are Wounded by Natural Causes/Shutting Down can often do best with a simple bit of comfort in Wisdom shared with him or her or from him or her. In terms of Wounding/Dying, Natural Causes/Shutting Down is about bringing comprehension to the moment about the life before exiting, and this can show up as the life "flashing before their eyes," or from loved ones around the bed side, etc. In terms of Wounding/Dying, it might even be better understood as "Gratitude" that is a part of the Healing. In terms of Implementation, with something like a Natural Disaster which may bring Impact, Impaling, Illness, Poison, etc, it can still be helpful for those who experienced that Implementation to grasp the nature of Nature, so that it is not seen as personal. Though it will always be the most-helpful to focus on the actual Method of Wounding, for Healing purposes. [VLS] Is there any healing that can be done with the dying involving touch, if so can you advise the best approach-thank you ALL Physical forms of Healing affect Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies, whereas Emotional Healing can only affect Emotional and Intellectual Bodies, and Intellectual Healing is limited to Intellectual Bodies. This is because the denser the form of Healing, the more it can be accessed by the subtler Bodies. This is not to say that Emotional Healing cannot bring about Physical Healing, but it would not be direct. Physical Healing, or rather, having a Physical Medium for Healing, can bring about multiple layers of Energy for use in the multiple bodies. For instance, your Touch can bring with it the Comfort that is of the Physical Level of Healing, the Affection that is the Emotional Level of Healing, and the Permission that is the Intellectual Level of Healing. We are speaking to you about a very specific kind of Touch that you bring, and not all Touch would bring that same kind of Healing. A simple resting of the hand on the person who is exiting is enough, and in some cases, the moving of the energy of the bodies through use of swirls and various contact points, can be the form that is used. We will clarify here that all Bodies are interconnected in many ways, so the Healing that is offered without Physicality does not mean it will not help the Physical Bodies. And not all Physical contact is a form of Healing, but is often forms of Treatment. For instance, the Emergency Room of a Hospital is mostly-filled with Treatments, not Healing. Healing often comes later. [DavidB] Someone asked me to pose this question: "What makes one healer more effective than another?" RESONANCE. There is no Healing between a Healer and The Wounded without Resonance. This is why even the most "whackadoodle" of false healers can bring about such "miracles" (which is a term to describe false or misunderstood forms of Beauty from Chaos) because there is Resonance between the two fragments. And it is why the consistency of even the most powerful Healers cannot facilitate Healing for everyone, because there must be Resonance. Resonance can only come through Empathy, which is built from Experience, which may or may not always come from within the current lifetime. In other words, one can only truly facilitate Healing for that which he or she has already healed within himself or herself, even if that healing came in other lives. We know this is a rather broad topic, but we think we have covered enough tonight for some provocation of thought and exploration that may shed insight into the experience of Healing and Wounding. We will conclude here. Goodnight to each of you. Goodbye.
  2. OMW - Dec 15, 2012 - Your Aura (Part Two) Continuation from OMW: Your Aura (Part One) Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We may continue our discussion with you about the concept, validity, meaning, and utility of the Aura. [GeraldineB] Maureen wants to start today's session with a question, Michael MEntity: Then we will begin with that. [Maureen] I had my Aura photographed last weekend. It was the largest one they saw that day and it was the only one that reached 100% of their scale. Also it was deep green and blue in the 1st photo and 3 shades of blue from medium blue to Indigo in the 2nd photo after the energy healing. I suspect that the size of my Aura is related to being a Priest Essence and I was wondering about the colour. How does the Aura show up for each Role in Essence by size, colour, etc. MEntity: These are two, separate contexts of discussion presented here: that of the novelty for photographing "the aura," and the distinct and consistent characteristics of the aura as relative to each Role. The photography is an effect, not an aura. Currently, we know of no instruments capable of capturing the validity of the aura. Most photography that passes as "aura photography" are using any number of effects inherent in the process, and not relevant to that which is photographed. In other words, with or without you in the picture, there would be an "aura," even on a blank wall. [Maureen] They say it is "Advanced Kirlian" photography MEntity: We know this can be disappointing, but the claims for authentically capturing the aura are false. Kirlian Photography is valid in that it can capture the etheric field of an object, using high frequency electrical charges to "fill in" that field. If you were subjected to a current in your photography session, those currents were interpreted and translated in colors and ways that are inconsistent and irrelevant to the aura. With or without any healing in between, your "aura" in these photographs would be notably different, with little consistency, since the algorithms are random. [Maureen] OK MEntity: If you were not subject to any current, then nothing was photographed at all, but was an internal process, programmed. In any case, we can only share with you our perception and understanding of what appears to be offered up as "aura photography," but we encourage you to validate this through your own tests. What we would suggest this photography be used for is something similar to the synchronicity relied upon in a Tarot Reading, or any oracle of chance. [Maureen] What was interesting to me was what showed up in my 1st and 2nd Chakra -- was exactly what you had spoken to me about the day before Michael. The similarities were quite striking. But I don't want to digress MEntity: Flipping open a favorite book to read a "message of the day," or laying out a spread of cards pulled randomly from a deck, or the casting of iChing, or the creative interpretation of the shape left by tea leaves, all are valid ways to gain insight into the self, the moment, the future, problems, etc. The randomness of the photographing and color effects can be just as insightful and synchronistic. In other words, you could have pulled Tarot Cards for your aura reading and would have the same potential for synchronicity of meaning and relevance as you would in the random processing of color in a photography technique. [Maureen] That's good to know MEntity: Any creative and random process of synchronicity is beneficial for insight and meaning. It is a matter of assigning qualities to symbols, and then "reading" these. This is true of one's own practice in reading or seeing the Aura on his or her own. The imagination is essential here. [GeraldineB] As a minor aside, do those who run the Kirilian equipment know this to be fraudulent? MEntity: We would not consider it "fraudulent" as much as it is a flippant and eager desire for it to be valid by all involved. This is the modern equivalent of the "mood ring," which was once thought to have some relevant meaning, but was merely a response to one's physical body temperature. When it was thought that body temperature may be relative to certain moods, these colors held meaning. [GeraldineB] Maureen -- do you still want the Roles' Aura info? [Maureen] Yes I do! But Michael may want to do that as they go along? MEntity: Mood Rings are valid in that they can convey in color the range of temperature of the skin contact, and in much the same way these photographic techniques are portraying an effect in the process as it reacts to certain stimuli. Mood Rings and "aura photography" would do well to be considered novelties for insight, no different from the depth of insight that a "Magic 8 Ball" can bring, even if all of these are potentially valid for helping bring insight or help in making a decision. To elaborate upon this for a moment: Because these systems are based in randomness and synchronicity, it is vital that one have a clear system in place for how to use them. For example, even a "Magic 8 Ball" can be useful for helping you to make a decision, but only if you set up a system for synchronicity, such as "I will shake it only once for insight," or "I will shake it 3 times." If you continued to shake it, you may get any number of responses, in much the same way that shuffling a deck of cards will tend to bring you different cards. There must be a structure for the synchronicity. So if you choose to use a system of synchronicity for checking in on your aura and chakras, it is helpful to have a structure in place that is clear to you. [Maureen] It is interesting to me -- that my "colours" did correspond to the "system" that I learned years ago through Geraldine Smith- Stringer. So you may be on to something Michael! LOL MEntity: We may be. [Maureen] :) MEntity: Your system is quite clear in many ways. [Maureen] and what I got -- did relate to what we talked about the day before. Very interesting MEntity: Maureen, you have worked with synchronicity for a long time. It would not surprise us that there would be relevance. Continuing... [Maureen] well -- this has put everything upside down -- in a good way! MEntity: There are consistent frequencies that are inherent in the auras of each Role, which can then be "seen" or translated from the aura while in the Physical Plane. For most, the Aura is not something that will ever be seen, but it is still tangible to most in some way. Most of what is experienced as the Aura is the Emotional Body, and so it goes that most who experience the Aura in tangible ways is through the emotions. This means that most tangible relevance of the Aura comes among people through the spectrum that is of the Inspirational. The more resonant an aura to your own, the more inspired, enthused, attracted. The more dissonant the aura from your own, the more reduced those qualities. Most relationships of any significance are based in that spectrum of the aura, or emotional bodies, and how those resonate, far more than any other common ground. This is why one can be friends, or feel close to, even those who do not hold the same perspectives, philosophies, or physical characteristics and actions. Your auras are compatible, resonant. Or put another way: your emotional bodies, or what inspires you, is resonant. This emotional body, or the aura that is most often relevant, is a result of interaction between the Personality and Essence via the Chakras. The body is manifest and sustained via these portals, if you will. The physical body is a final emission, rather than the aura, or emotional body, but the emotional body is the most flexible common ground for all of the bodies. [Nadine_AP2] Michael, you said that the astral or emotional body is reflective of the emotional state and because of that can vary and change on a constant basis. Wouldn't that make relationships instable and volatile? MEntity: It could be said that the Causal (intellectual) Body is Essence, the Emotional/Astral Body is the Role, and the Physical Body is Personality. This then reflects the meeting ground between Essence and Personality in the Role. Nadine, we will respond to your question in a moment, as what we have to say next may address it. [Nadine_AP2] okay MEntity: There are 3 "layers" to the Emotional Body of significance: that layer that reflects the consistency and evolution of the Essence Role; that layer that reflects the realm of relationships and social agreements; and that layer that reflects the processes of the Personality. These layers cannot be compartmentalized, of course, but they are distinct enough to describe in this way. The Personality layer is as private as one wishes for it to be, in much the same way that anything about you can be. This layer fluctuates greatly, depending on your processes. These layers might be referred to as the Personal, Public, and True layers. The Public layer is where Agreements are made, is how one chooses to present his or her negotiated and navigated processes from the Personal layer, and tend to be more stable. The Personal layer can reflect the health of the body, whereas the Public can reflect the health of relationships. [Nadine_AP2] well, that would answer my question MEntity: These layers are also why there are Private and Public sets of Overleaves. The "True" layer is reflective of the Role in Essence. This is the backdrop for the other layers, or the more encompassing layer. True > Public > Personal > Body The True layer carries with it the frequency that is relative to the Role, and each Role is consistent in frequency, or color wave (as interpreted within the visible spectrum of the Physical Plane body). This frequency is relative to the primary portal, or chakra, for the Essence to manifest through the Physical Plane. Server - Instinctive - Red Artisan - Sexual - Orange Warrior - Solar Plexus - Yellow Scholar - Heart - Green Sage - Throat - Blue Priest - Brow - Indigo King - Crown - Violet It may occur to some that the Scholar "should be" the assimilative/instinctive, while the Server "should be" of the Heart, but this is not the case. This is because, as we have already established, the Emotional realm is the best meeting ground for all bodies, and Scholars know this. And Servers must have access to the very basic needs of any individual or group at any given time, and this is most easily accessed through the Instinctive Center, or Root Chakra. It would be rare for even the most "gifted" of those who read auras to, literally, see the True layer, but it can be read in the Public and Personal layers, if looked for. Essence Recognition, however, happens in this layer. When you "remember" someone, or "just know" that you already know someone, you are responding to the resonance that has been established in the True, or Essence, layer. When one dies, and the Physical Body is released, these layers of the Emotional Body continue. This emotional body is the meeting ground of all of your Personalities across time, then. Each new lifetime and Personality adds to this body. The most differentiated layer is the Personal, but the Public is shared across those lifetimes of resonance, and become what you consider your "past lives" when you "remember" one. We will pause here for a moment to ask if our students are feeling a sense of validity to this exploration of the aura, and the relevance of the Emotional Body. [Nadine_AP2] yes, I do. [Diane_HB] Yes [Maureen] I think I will draw a diagram so I will get a better picture of it! but yes -- it's coming to me MEntity: With some examination, you may find it is quite consistent with a great deal of what has come to be explored in our system, and sheds light on some long-established elements. [Nadine_AP2] I have a question about the public layer being shared across lifetimes: [GeraldineB] I have questions about the emotional body - [Nadine_AP2] as one shares this layer with ones future lives, too, would one be able to "remember" future lives, too? MEntity: Yes. It would be more accurate to say "potential future lives," as from any given point in time, the "future" is not set, even if it has already happened. [GeraldineB] That makes no sense, Michael [Diane_HB] LOL MEntity: For example: "you" are here, now, in "the future" of a past version of you in this lifetime. Therefore, "you" have "already happened." That does not mean that a past version of "you" will make the choices that lead to "you." You are only the potential for the past. [Maureen] that makes sense [Nadine_AP2] I think I get it. MEntity: Think of it this way: At any given moment, you are at the hub of potential, both in past and future terms. Your memories are an organization of events that are relevant to you at that moment, but are not necessarily linear to you, but may have come from various versions of you in the past. Some memories are from a consistent and rather linear timeline, some are not. [GeraldineB] Ok -- I'm slowly discovering this aspect with the project MEntity: The same is true of your imagination for the future. It is a spectrum of possibilities that can only snap into shape once "you get there." But, there are many versions of you that will get into your future, just as there are many versions of you that are your past. [Maureen] I love this! [GeraldineB] "will get there" is not the same thing as "already has been there" [Maureen] The plastic metaphysical man MEntity: So when you "remember" or imagine the future, you are tapping into some of the most relevant probabilities, and this can tend to happen the strongest when that "you" in the future is remembering "you." There is a resonance. We realize this can be complicated to comprehend, but we assure you that your Essence manages this much better than any one Personality. [Nadine_AP2] Lol, I can imagine that! [GeraldineB] That is very good -- Essence is a far better switchboard operator than I MEntity: What we have been sharing with each of you is mostly about the functioning and technical aspects of the aura. What we will do now is share with you what we see as the most practical ways to use this information: To learn to "read" your aura, we suggest implementing a synchronistic system, as mentioned before. Using Tarot Cards, a set of cards of color, or any other system of insight, can be helpful for looking at your personal layer of the aura. Creating a clear structure for that synchronicity is vital, so it would do you well to have your techniques clarified before using these systems. Paying attention to your feelings can help you to have the most direct insight as to what is going on in your Personal layer of the aura. Establish color associations with your feelings, or look up systems that associate colors with feelings, and learn to manage these with your imagination. By this we mean that you can help yourself adjust your emotions to be more manageable if you learn the hues and tones that help transform them. For instance, Red might be what you associate with Anger, so you might imagine adjusting the darker Red of anger to being a more pleasant hue and tone, so that it is brighter, lighter, and provoking of a more productive emotion. The reason this can be helpful is because if the management of emotion is within the same color range, it is not a denial of the original feeling, but a way to move it into something more like a positive pole. If you feel sadness and have associated this with a dark blue, you may adjust the color to that which provokes a different feeling of calm and peace. It is never beneficial to ignore, suppress, or deny any feeling, but if one can move that feeling into something useful, the more "negative" feeling gains usefulness rather than simply being a weight or pressure. Most "negative" feelings are born of helplessness, so to transform that feeling into something useful helps that negative feeling to have been informative, instead of debilitating. [Maureen] Michael -- will you be covering the Causal (Intellectual) Body today? and if there is time -- would you be able to do a summary of what was covered today? MEntity: You may not be able to see this in your aura, but that is moot. You need not literally see it to know its impact. One cannot see a soul, either, but it is in effect, regardless. [Maureen] I like your system of "managing" or transforming emotions rather than suppressing them. It is most helpful. MEntity: That process is not magical, and can take practice, but it can be quite effective. In most cases, at first, one might realize just how attached one is to a feeling, and how unwilling one might be to let it transform, but once one has done so once or twice, the benefits become more apparent. Absurdly surreal symbolism in dreams is another way to tap into your Personal layer of the aura. Learning to interpret those symbols in the dream can lend great insight into what is going on for you in the aura. Dreams that tend to have a lot of interaction and communication, even if in the midst of surreal symbolism, are often reflective of the Public layer of the emotional body. Working out Karma and Agreements often happens in dreams, then. Checking in with the health of your relationships can also help you to gain insight into what is going on with your Public layer. If there is a lot of dissonance and distance, your Public layer may be in a protective or defensive state, which keeps people at bay, or attracts those attracted to dissonance. If there is a receptiveness in this layer, it would tend to be reflected in your capacity to find common ground with even the most unfamiliar, distant, and even dissonant of peoples, while holding great appreciation for those who resonate. Many of our students relate almost entirely from this layer, as it helps to transcend distance and time. [Maureen] I can see that -- for many of us MEntity: For those who begin to Manifest Essence, then the True layer, or the Essence layer comes into play. For those who wish to see the effects of this, it tends to show up in what is provoked from others. For instance, Sages tend to help provoke expression, communication, and active use of the Throat Chakra and all that this entails. Priests tend to help provoke inspirational vision, intuition, and active use of the Brow Chakra and all that this entails. Warriors tend to provoke the action, stimulation, productivity, and active use of the Solar Plexus Chakra and all that this entails. And so on. When one is Manifesting Essence, one tends to be attractive to those who want the effects of that Role, and are attracted to those Roles who help to bring benefit to what one wishes to enhance. For example, if a Manifested Priest and Sage are attracted to one another (and by "attracted" we do not imply sexual or romantic attraction), then it might show up as the Priest gaining more beneficial access to her communication set of skills while the Sage gains more beneficial access to intuitive and visionary perceptions. These can show up as obvious benefit, or show up as challenges that bring that eventual benefit. Watching how one feels one is benefited by another, or how one benefits someone else, can help to give you an idea of to what degree you are Manifesting Essence, and in True Personality. This does not mean you will always get along, but the benefit is there in some way, to some degree, and it is usually fairly specific. Much of what we had to say can be said at any other time, as we focused today on our response to the question presented for this exchange. We will not address the Causal Body here, or synopsize, as time is limited. But we feel that the question dove-tailed quite beneficially to all that we might have to say about the nature and concept of the aura. Good day to each of you. We must conclude here for now. ***************** Note from (presumably) Geraldine: I recommend rereading the OMW: Your Turning Points, which contains the information on our multiple bodies. During further research, I discovered the following video which isn't about auras, per se, but really deals with many of the modern illnesses for humans and the animal kingdoms. It's worth a viewing and a contemplation as we may be causing much of our ongoing "stress" issues completely inadvertently due to our desire for instant. Resonance - Beings of Frequency (documentary film) Colors Meditation, Aura, and Healing Levels Reality Creator Reference Book This article is from the Hermes Reality Creator Series Books and or upcoming books. It is © copyright 1995 - 2012 by Tom DeLiso / Hermes Trismegistus. Please follow the copyright link for additional copyright information. The Meditation/Dream level helps you to understand a color or a colored object seen in a dream or meditation. The Aura level helps you to understand the purpose of that color within the human energy field. The Healing level is the way the color works when applied to healing the body or spirit. WHITE Meditation/Dream: Truth of the highest order. Enlightenment. Energy in its most pure form. Divinity. Aura: Never a predominate color in the aura unless you are looking at an angel or an ascended master. However a white layer in the aura or a layer with white streaks indicates a person following the will of God and being directed by it. Healing: Charging the energy field, bringing peace and comfort, divine light or whole white light entering. VIOLET Meditation/Dream: Conjures feelings of enchantment, wishes fulfilled, of dreams made fact. Transformation of the self or of some aspect of your life into a higher form. Connecting to your higher self. The "I am God" presence. Aura: This color in the aura is the highest vibration for the human spirit. A person who is in command of his life and energy. A visionary. Violet with a gold outline is a person who is one with spirit and God and is in service to mankind. Healing: Connecting to spirit, the opening of the third eye, the clearing of the head, purging the auric field of distortions. BLUE Meditation/Dream: Blue is the energy of pacification, self protection, sweetness and tenderness, and of loyalty. It represents contentment and reunion with the Earth. Aura: Blue in the aura represents a teacher or a very sensitive person. They are kind and caring and will do much to help others grow. Healing: Cooling, calming, restructuring of the etheric level, taking away pain when doing deep tissue work and work on bone cells. Blue also helps to expand a person's field to connect to his/her life task. GREEN Meditation/Dream: Taken most directly from nature, these hues often are expressive of constancy, self-affirmation, security, self-esteem, and of deeply rooted pride. A healing meditation may contain green, as it is the color of new growth. Aura: Green in the aura signals a very intellectual person who may possess healing gifts. At the very least it signals a nurturer personality and one that will do what they can to make another comfortable. Healing: Charging the heart chakra, balancing the aura, general healing, sometimes charging the aura to ensure well being and health, and to remove illness. YELLOW Meditation/Dream: Representative of cheerfulness, radiance, relaxation and release from burdens. It is warmth of sunlight, the halo around the Holy Grail. Yellow is hope. Aura: Yellow, like green also signals a very intellectual person, but this person does not possess healing gifts. They are powerful thinkers, and idea makers. Healing: Charging the brow chakra, clearing a foggy head. ORANGE Meditation/Dream: Symbolic of fire, of expanding energy, power and the omnipotence of the sun and the majesty of sunsets. Energy to accomplish one's goals. Aura: A very ambitious person who needs to succeed and has the energy to do so. Healing: Charging the auric field, increasing sexual potency, increasing the immunity system. ROSE Meditation/Dream: In meditation or dreams represents self-love, also resurrection. The color of flesh, of sensuality and emotion, romantic love, and supportive love. Aura: A person in-love with another or in-love with one's created environment. Healing: Subtle healing and love. This energy puts back a sense of self love and self worth. RED Meditation/Dream: Red represents the will to achieve, energy, intensity, and struggle. It is also appetite, desire, and reproduction. It is life in the "now." Aura: People with mostly red in their aura are fiery spontaneous people. They are often fearless, or appear that way. Red's make good police and firemen and soldiers. Red will also be found in the normal aura for brief periods during great anger or passion. Healing: Supercharging the auric field, burning out cancer, warming cold areas. GOLD Meditation/Dream: Divinity transforming lower energy to upper energy. Spiritual power in all aspects operating for the greater good. Aura: Gold in the aura is rarely a predominate color, however you can find it as an outline to another color, like violet. Gold as an outline in the aura adds the dimension of spiritual nobility and rank, a person that has and is achieving great spiritual progress and work. Healing: The restructuring of the seventh layer of the aura (the God self). GRAY Meditation/Dream: Grey in a dream or meditation signals excessive energy being burnt off. it is also a lifting of intense fear or some life-threatening situation. Aura: A person whose life-force is leaking away due to unhappiness, sadness, depression, or illness. With the color black a person with advanced cancer. Healing: Only used during a healing when excessive energy must be removed because the person can't handle it. BLACK Meditation/Dream: In the shinny black variety it is a closing in of energy and resource to protect oneself. The velvet or shinny black is not a negative color to get in a meditation, especially if you are feeling burnt out. A velvet black light opens up the Aura so that it can accept higher colors. Aura: A dull lifeless black in the aura shows a person who is very far removed from the constructive forces of the universe. With the grey streaks, it shows a person being destroyed by his or her own separation from God. Note: Wearing black is very common and it opens up the human aura to all the other colors. Many students of the occult like to wear black for this reason. Wearing black also protects your energy from leaking out to others. Healing: The velvet black color is used to bring a patient into the state of grace, silence, and peace with God. SILVER Meditation/Dream: Silver relates to the moon, the subconscious, and the female aspect of the universe. Aura: Not a color usually present in the aura in any great quantity. Healing: Used to purge the auric field and to charge the sixth level of being (karmic level), to remove old karma that is no longer needed. INDIGO Meditation/Dream: Purple or indigo in a dream or meditation signals some kind of psychic power or ability or some kind of psychic force. Aura: In the aura shows a very intuitive person, a person with prepackaged abilities that come from before birth to be used physically in this incarnation. These people tend to be square pegs as far as society and fitting in is concerned. This will change as more of the current generation is born with this color and takes its place in society. Healing: The opening up of intuition or of some psychic ability. It is also used to prepare the individual of the entering of the divine spirit. CRYSTAL Meditation/Dream: Transformation into a new form or a higher energy state. Crystals amplify and a crystal light will amplify your own energy to a higher level. Aura: A crystal aura around a person is clear but will have other colors intermingled with it. This is the 'chameleon' aura. People with this aura will take on the attitudes and ways of those around them. The aura of others becomes their own aura. It is important for these crystal people to only surround themselves with the best influences possible, for obvious reasons. A person with a crystal aura must learn how to separate themselves from everybody else. Healing: Sometimes used to fill in an empty spot where some energy was removed, so that nothing unwanted takes it place, till the person's energy field can replace the vacuum with its own energy field.
  3. Michael Speaks Live Psychic Hygiene October 8, 2011 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here now. We can begin with discussion about the topic suggested: "Psychic Hygiene" For most fragments, the physical plane is met with some amount of awareness brought to the importance of Physical and, eventually, Spiritual Hygiene, or maintenance, if you will. Depending on the culture, sometimes one is emphasized over another, or both are emphasized, but these two "bodies" are often considered as priorities, either together or separately. Physical hygiene is fairly clearly understood as a necessity in modern culture and civilizations, and while the methods and motivations may differ across those, the effects are still beneficial. Spiritual Hygiene begins to be considered as a result of survival or prosperity. Rituals and practices come into play as a plea in times of struggle, or as a means to explore in times of prosperity. While the variations in Physical methods and motivations for hygiene tend to have the same effects and benefits, the rituals and practices for Spiritual Hygiene do not. Spiritual Rituals and practices tend to be geared toward the beliefs of the individual, religion, or culture of the time, and so do not act as a means of actual Hygiene, but more as a means of manipulation. Manipulation is not a "bad thing" in itself, but there are many who feel that their Spiritual practices and rituals are quite noble and beneficial, when actually they are often entirely geared toward the manipulation of favors, alleviation of fears, or the fulfillment of duties. The reason the Physical Hygiene can be rather consistent in its benefit, while Spiritual Hygiene can be rather inconsistent in effect is because one has immediate impact, and the other does not. Furthermore, the entire concept of "spirituality" is misunderstood as a body in and of itself, or a realm, or a dimension, etc, when it is not. Therefore, the practices and rituals put in place to directly benefit one's "Spirituality" is often lost as if thrown into a black hole of relevance. "Spirituality," or the Spiritual Body, is a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, and those parts are the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. The Spiritual Body does not exist without those inclusions. So if one dismisses the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies for the sake of aiming for some sort of "Spiritual" ascension, acceptance, acceleration, advancement, etc, one is completely missing the point, and has not come to understand the nature of Spirituality. Spirituality is a concept much like that of Nature. Nature is something that cannot exist without all of the forms that make up what is understood as "Nature." To separate out the concept of Nature from its very nature would be absurd. And so it is that one's Spiritual practices and rituals are useless if they do not include or understand the necessity of inclusion of the hygiene for the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies. Naturally, then, the aim for Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Hygiene automatically benefits "Spirit," or "Spirituality." This is what we mean by "Psychic" Hygiene: the inclusion of the less-tangible aspects that make up your more intimate bodies; those of the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual. Our use of "psychic" may differ a bit from the general definition of the word, but we mean it in the sense of the inclusion of your psyche, or your consciousness, in relation to these Bodies. For instance: most of you know how to bathe your own bodies. This is a task that most of you do weekly, if not daily, in some form, with some of you doing so more thoroughly than others, but doing so, nonetheless. However, often or well you clean your body, we can say with some amount of confidence that most of you do not do so with a kind, thoughtful, loving hand in the process. A routine hand, yes. A thorough hand, yes. A skilled hand, yes. A dutiful hand, yes. And this cleans your Physical Body, but it does nothing for the psychic levels of that Body. By "psychic levels," we mean that there is little consciousness present or involved. All of our suggestions today will be rather simple. They should be rather easy to implement into your daily lives. They are not intended to be a distraction, but a support to your days. Our first suggestion, then, for the Physical Body is to BATHE YOURSELVES AS IF YOU CARE. It is that simple. This is not necessary every time you bathe yourself, but once out of every 4 times you may bathe yourself, include your capacity to CARE in the process. Bring some loving to your body; some appreciation, gratitude, affection. Be there for you on more than a dutiful or routine level. Truly be present in that body you are taking time to clean. However close you may be to somebody else, you will never be as close to any other body than your own. Ever. Bringing that simple shift in awareness to your bathing process is more meaningful to "spirit" and to you than any spiritual practice or ritual could ever be. The Emotional Body is the next-most tangible of all of you Bodies. This is not the case for every person, but for most. If you feel that your Intellectual Body is far more tangible than your Emotional Body, it is not a matter of fact, but a matter of emphasis that you think this is so. Technically, the Emotional Body is denser than the Intellectual Body, and then the Emotional springs from that. Because the Physical Body is so immediately tangible, and the "Spiritual" is of such an aspiration to so many, the Emotional and Intellectual Bodies are the most neglected and abused bodies on the planet. The hygiene of your Emotional Bodies can most often be helped through the use of SOUND. In particular, Tones, or music. Emotional hygiene could do well to take place at least once a month, but as often as you would like. There is a difference between escaping into music or sound, and harnessing it for hygiene. Much like there is a difference between going swimming, and taking a bath or shower. Exploring the tones associated with Chakras, either as vocal expressions or instrumental expressions, is helpful in putting into practice Emotional Hygiene. There is validity to the practice of vocalizing the "all-inclusive sound" of Om. When we say that the Emotional Body can benefit from SOUND, we mean all forms and media of sound, including speaking kind and comforting words to yourself, affirmations, singing spontaneously. The Emotional Body is where the experience of Time is processed, and music/sound is a processing of Time that helps to clean, heal, support, and care for the Emotional Body. For those who are Emotionally-Centered, it may be a regular event to submerge oneself into music or sound, because when one is using that Center as a means for navigating the entire life, it requires far more maintenance and healing, which is why Emotionally-Centered Personalities do tend to develop a far more intimate relationship to music than other Centerings. This is not to say that Moving or Intellectual Centering does not develop relationships to music and sound, but that it is a different relationship, and not one that is born of such necessity as those who are Emotionally Centered. We can explore those relationships in another session. So for the Emotional Bodies, a regular form of hygiene to bring to your every month, or more, is to listen to Chakra-based Toning, speaking kindly to yourself, singing to yourself, vocalizing tones that feel good, etc. And all with an awareness present. For the Intellectual Body, hygiene could do well to be in place as often as one bathes, if not more. The Hygiene of your Intellectual Body can most often be helped through the use of VISUALIZATIONS. There are two important levels of hygiene to consider in this case: One is that every fragment would do well to gift himself with a break from thinking, every day. This is not the same thing as being stupid. Every day, or at least for a few moments as one bathes or showers, the practice of visualizing "nothing" can truly bring some relief to the Intellect. By "nothing," we mean that the focus is on as much space as possible, an openness, such as floating, or flying, being in the sky, among clouds, etc. [Question] Doesn't that require intellectual processes to generate the visualization though? [MEntity] Of course it does. You cannot bathe your Physical Body without using your hands, either. The point is not to escape these Bodies, but to give them gifts, benefits, pleasure, freedom, support. The more one uses these bodies to benefit themselves, instead of being entirely weighted by the processes of living a life, the more those processes of living the life are met with brilliant energy, clarity, enthusiasm, and joy. In other words, your Bodies are not slaves to the lifetime. They are curious, sensitive, fragile, wondrous dimensions of you that are here to explore, not just to endure. The other level of hygiene for this body would come in the form of decording. This is something that can be practiced monthly, or even yearly. This is the practice of using your imagination and visualization to "see" your own back where energetic cords have attached themselves between you and those with whom you are not consciously or relevantly attached. Cording is the process of linking one's Chakras to another for the sake of bonding or binding. When bonding happens, it is usually a mutual experience and these cords are connected to the front of your body, chakras. When binding happens, it is not usually mutual, though allowed, and these cords are connected to the back of the body. All of these terms are not so literal, but they are accurate enough to the reality of those connections that we can use them here. Decording, then, is the use of the imagination to pull or wipe those cords off of your back. Of course, this is all symbolic, but it works when the visualization is applied. We will have to use another chat to elaborate upon the dynamics of Cording, but to begin this practice can often bring sudden freeing of energy and well-being, not only to the Intellect, but to the denser bodies, as well. It may also bring a surprise visit or contact from those who are binded to you in the back, because when those drop, the person who originated the bind senses this drop between you and may suddenly want to contact you, if he or she can. Another daily practice for Intellectual Hygiene would be to put at least one beautiful thing in your most inhabited space so that you can see it, and allow it to remind you to slow the mind, to take in the view, to allow room for your thoughts to come and go, rather than build up. As the Emotional Body processes Time, the Intellectual Body processes Space. As Music/sound is a means of processing Time, so is Visualization a means of processing Space. We must conclude here for today, but can continue this discussion in future exchanges, or in the forum thread where this transcript may be posted. We think that what we have shared today may be of help for bringing some personal sense of management over one's energy and health of his or her bodies, and to help bring a bit more "spirit" to one's Spiritual Body. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye.
  4. Michael Speaks 011010 TOPIC CHAT (new format) Self-Karma Despite the complexities that can be involved in Self-Karma, the actual concept, exploration, and resolution are quite simple. That is not to say that the process is "easy," but that describing these elements is fairly simple. First, we will define Karma as "any form of intensity (imbalance) as a result of interference to your capacity for Choice." Interference of Choice is not the only criteria for generating Karma. There must be an intensity, or imbalance, generated from at least one party, and most-often the party who suffered the loss of Choice. The sudden increase for capacity of Choice is also a form of Karma, if intensity is generated. We describe this as Philanthropic Karma, and this form of Karma "feels good," but it is Karma, nonetheless, as it interfered with Choice and generated intensity. When Karma is generated, "Ribbons" are formed as a means to track those intensities. Those Ribbons connect among the Instinctive Centers of all who are involved. It might be more accurate to describe these as "tuned frequencies" that do not lose track of the members of that frequency, but we feel that "ribbons" is easier to image. The resolution of Karma is in the "burning" of the "ribbon," or neutralizing that frequency. The burning of ribbons is always done through role reversal, either with the parties from each side reversing positions, or from the party who generated the karma reversing his or her own actions that generated the Karma. A simplified example of each might be: Reversing Positions = you kill someone, that someone kills you. Reversing Actions = you kill someone, you then save that someone in a later life. We realize that we have been sharing the details about our perception of Karma, but this is helpful in understanding your Self-Karma because much of the same dynamic applies. We will define Self-Karma as being "a dual position within that interferes with your own capacity for Choice, and generates intensity, or imbalance." Often these are also described as "Issues." ALL Self-Karma is contained within a single lifetime and does not carry over in the same way that Ribbons do among fragments. Self-Karma is generated by the Personality within the lifetime. However, Self-Karma can show up as patterns for an Essence, because Essence designs each Personality, and often the patterns of exploration sought by Essence generates similar opportunities across lifetimes for each Personality that tends toward certain Self-Karmic issues. If a Personality resolves his or her Self-Karma within a lifetime, that Self-Karma is usually not repeated, because Essence then has a completed set of new data from which to use for creating a lifetime. Since Essence learns through Personality, it can only progress beyond certain Self-Karmic patterns when a Personality finally figures out how to resolve the issue. That is not to say that a pattern does not repeat, but that it is rarely repeated. When we say that it is not repeated, we are speaking about a specific Self-Karma, but that issue may be a part of a larger category of Self-Karma, which we will explain in a moment. If you are alive, you most-likely have Self-Karma. Self-Karma is so common a development among Personalities that even the hosts for the Transcendental and Infinite Souls carried Self-Karma. However, in the cases of Transcendental and Infinite Soul hosts, the Self-Karma is always resolved within the lifetime. Self-Karma is generated in four categories of your life, which mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System. It would be more accurate to say that Self-Karma is generated in one or more of your four "bodies" that mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System: your Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual/Instinctive Bodies. These categories can help you to identify your Self-Karma by where, how, and when you find yourself divided in a way that interferes with your capacity for Choice. Self-Karma is often paralyzing in its effects. When we say "paralyzing," we include those uncontrollable compulsions that force a choice even when you "know" is not a choice you would prefer to make. We include non-choice, refusal to choose, or the fear to choose, as a means to suspend yourself between two or more choices, as forms of paralyzing. What we will share now is a simple exercise for identifying your Self-Karma in a way that allows for tangibility so that resolution can be made, if you choose to pursue such an endeavor. Draw up a chart in a way that creates the four categories, or bodies: Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual. With merely a glance at your life, considering each category, it might be fairly easy to identify at least one Self-Karma from each category. You could translate each category into a way to help your examination, such as: Expression, Inspirational, Action, and Assimilliation areas of your life. Assimillation might be better understood as your "Learning" or "Comprehension," or the "Lessons" are of life. Another translation: my world view; my relationships; my body; my spirit. Questions to pose for each category, regardless of how one translates that category might sound something like: "What do I get the most upset about in this category?" Or "In this category, what experience repeats for me that keeps me from making the choices I want to make?" Or "In this category, where do I wish something else would change before I can make a choice that I prefer?" Or "In this category, to what do I tend to overreact?" Or "In this category, what triggers reaction in me?" Or "What frustrates me the most about myself, others, life in this category?" At first, your examination may bring up broad categories, and that is a good place to start, but you would eventually want to narrow it down to specific triggers or situations. For instance, you may feel that issues of INJUSTICE is a large context that carries triggers for you, but upon closer inspection, you may find that you are really only triggered when someone does not comply to your way of thinking, or agree with you, or celebrate your passionate stance with the same passion. This might indicate that your issues are not so much about Injustice, but about "Being Right" or "Being Superior." Once one has identified a Self-Karma, then the work of resolution can begin. Resolution is found when there is no longer a sense of division, and your choice is completely owned by you. We will give a very simple example: A fragment identifies that she has "issues" with her body image, detailing that she feels ugly because she does not lose weight, but does not do the work of losing that weight. This would fall under BODY, or Physical. The broader category would be "Body Image," but she might find she is triggered in instances where she is going to be social or intimate. Her Self-Karma then might be the division within that says she is beautiful just as she is, as long as no one sees her. Being "Beautiful As I Am" means to her to never having that concept challenged, so she remains isolated and secluded to sustain that version of herself. Being "As Beautiful as Others Prefer" would mean shaping the body into a new form, which means exercise, diet, and patience, but this is in conflict with "Beautiful As I Am," and to follow through in that direction might mean she really is not beautiful as she is, so reprimanding, self-punishment, self-hate, repulsion replace diet, exercise, and patience. She remains at home, or secretly isolated internally, even when in social situations. The resolution would come only when she MAKES THE CHOICE in one direction or the other, and allows herself to own that choice. If she chooses to "Be Beautiful As I Am" then it would require the work of self-acceptance, self-kindness, accentuating all that is felt to be beautiful, internally and externally, and to build upon that. She would celebrate the beautiful in those people and things that she knows as beautiful beyond any standard in entertainment or social media. She would allow for all forms of beauty, knowing that this is a subjective matter, and never something that can be standardized. If she chooses to "Be as Beautiful as Others Prefer," then she would own the steps necessary to go down that path, and begin a commitment to exercise, diet, patience, and a reality-check that she cannot transform her body to be exactly as someone else's, but that she can make it the best it can be. She would embrace the fact that she may not please everyone, but focus on moving her body into a state that is pleasing to herself. She is simply taking care of herself. In short: the Self-Karma is a division that could be described as "Accept my self as I am/Improve upon my self-image." The resolution is to choose one of those and to own all that goes along with that choice. The irony is that in the commitment to one or the other, BOTH are ultimately included; hence the resolution. Neither side of the division is left behind. Accepting yourself as you are automatically includes an upgrade to your self image. Improving upon your self-image automatically brings a kindness to the process that is an acceptance for who you are all along the way of your improvement. Improving yourself in your own eyes automatically improves your representation of yourself to others, thus improving yourself in their eyes, as well. Improving yourself in a way that others may find appealing often leads to clarity about what must be improved in your own eyes. When choosing a direction for commitment to resolution, it is often more beneficial and efficient to choose the direction over which you have the most control. For instance, taking the route of "Accept Myself As I Am" is far more within the control of that person than if she were to entirely depend upon the external factors for gauging her progress. Both paths could work, but this is why many teachings encourage one to start with the self, since that is where one has the most control, and is almost always guaranteed success. Choosing to go in a direction of lesser control that requires others to comply to your ideal is still a valid path, but a more complicated and challenging path, with less-likely successes. The more time and care given to your examination of your Self-Karma, the more quickly and easily the resolution might come because the solutions are often within the issue, itself. **************Q&A*************** Are there different gemstones with their frequencies that might be utilized to help neutralize the energies of these four self-karma categories? If it is understood that these gemstones are merely a supportive energy, and not an energy that actually does the work for you, then there are stones that might help some fragments receptive to that energy. To understand how these work, it might be helpful to think of each gemstone as being a light of specific color, and when that light is shined into your space, it can highlight certain things. It is not that the stone is actually "doing" anything other than being itself. A flashlight in the dark is not magic, but it can certainly improve one's capacity for seeing. And so it is with such tools as gemstones. With that being understood, the most common stones available for helping support in the process of Self-Karma might be: Rose Quartz or Pyrite for Physical/Body Issues Amethyst Quartz or Citronite for World View/Intellectual/Expression issues Tourmaline or Jades for various Learning/Comprehension/Instinctive Issues Tiger's Eye or Azurites for Emotional/Relationship Issues These stones may help to highlight the areas prone to opportunities for resolution, but they will not resolve the issues for you, or soothe them. There is validity to frequencies generated from inanimate objects, especially from those directly of the planet, but as with any tool, it is what you do with them that makes the difference, not necessarily the properties of that object. A hammer is just a hammer until one picks it up to use with intent, and that intent can have a multitude of outcomes. How do you deal with cases where manifesting is involved and appears to interfere with the resolution? For example: If the woman above decides to get in shape, but then injures herself or gets into a car accident that hurts her back. How to avoid or get past that? I see it a lot. The Self-Karma would remain, as well as the resolution, regardless of circumstances along the way. To make this clearer, we will use an example of a man who has lost his legs who feels he is worthless without being able to walk. The Self-Karma is not in whether he can walk, or not, but in how he experiences whether he can walk, or not. If he is divided to such an extent that it paralyzes his capacity for choice, then he has generated Self-Karma. If he embraces his experience, or if he commits to rising above it, then the Self-Karma is resolved. For the woman who has hurt her back after commiting to improving the health of her body, she can still commit to the improvement of her health and body. When a commitment in one direction of resolution comes with great obstacles, or surprise obstacles, or challenges, the commitment itself must inherently make room for all of the possibilities of that path, or it is not a commitment. Is there a way of avoiding or lessening the chances of that happening in the first place? It seems to me that it happens when someone forces themselves towards one choice without being ready? You are correct that "forcing a choice" is still included in Self-Karma, as we described it as a compulsion. And that is a good point for differentiation: Resolution comes from EMBRACING YOUR CHOICE, not FORCING your choice. Forcing a choice leads to complications that compound the Self-Karma. Embracing a choice means absolute permission to explore that choice on your own terms at your own pace, and with an invitation to Essence, your friends, your loved ones for support in that choice. Forcing a choice is usually marked by intensity and often secrecy. Embracing a choice is usually marked by a gentleness and an openness without shame. That is not to say that embracing a choice would avoid any surprises, but that embracing a choice inherently brings the strength of adaptability. In addressing self-karma through another channel once, you told me to consider my greatest concern in life and I'll be on my way to identifying my self-karma... then you asked me "how satisfied are you with your response to friendship". Would you elaborate a little more on the why of that particular question and how it relates to my self-karma? For examination on a broader level, we would ask about the "greatest concern in life," and this would allow one to find his or her most pressing issue/s. Following this with a question about relationships would help to identify a category. That question would have been asked if we suspected it may be helpful to look into your Emotional or Relationship Category for refinement of that exploration. Thank you, good evening! Could you please give an example of, and resolution to, a spiritual self karma? Would perfectionism be a spiritual self karma? A broad example of a Spiritual/Instinctive Self-Karma might be those issues associated with Guilt and Shame. A specific Spiritual Self-Karma within Guilt or Shame might be in the experience of being an Old Soul among family members who are Baby and Young, and having to deal with this in a way that does not leave you feeling divided between "being yourself" and "compromising just to keep the peace." In that case, the choice would be between "being yourself" and letting others deal with that, or "Compromising to keep the peace" as a means of dealing with it on your own. The resolution would be in the fact that regardless of which choice you make, you are ALWAYS "yourself," and no context changes that, regardless of the facet you choose to bring forth appropriately or strategically. In an example you gave, - which is EXACTLY me, lol, and started with back injuries, are both options you gave equally valid for truly resolving the issue? Using that example, what happens if you improve yourself and then later on you end up backsliding or being injured, etc and are once again feeling overweight and unattractive? It seems like loving yourself as you are resolves the situation, whereas changing your body, while healthier physically, could be undone. Self-Karmic resolution is immediate and permanent and not based upon conditions. If the motivations for improving upon the body as a path to resolution is conditional upon reaching some conclusive state that will only THEN be satisfied, then it is merely a perpetuation of the Self-Karma. If one were to choose to improve upon the body as a means for reaching a state considered "beautiful," it would have to include kindness, patience, and a devotion to the self in a way that naturally translates into "beautiful as you are along the way." The embrace of the commitment to improve upon the body as a means to reach a greater state of beauty would mean that you are merely at one point in that spectrum of beauty, rather than its needing a finish line to cross. Another way to understand when one is in Resolution is when you know your choice is because you WANT to make that choice, not because you feel you HAVE to make that choice. "I HAVE to make this choice if I want to be beautiful" is not a choice that resolves Self-Karma. "I HAVE to accept myself as I am in order to feel beautiful" is equally imprisoning. In this case, it would be helpful to understand that the ideal of beautiful cannot be reached without creating steps along the way that are seen as beautiful to you. Much like building a brick house, it must be completed brick by brick. It is never helpful to deny that it is a brick house simply because it is not to a point where you feel you can live in it. For instance, the simple decision to "try to like how I look today" is a beautiful decision. It may not stick, but for now, it is beautiful. The more "for now" moments of beauty you extract from your experiences will add to the materials that build your ideal structure of beauty. The decision not to eat a certain way for the day because you feel this contributes to your better health is a beautiful decision, even if you do not choose that the next day. For now, it is beautiful. Those simple moments build into a matrix that helps to generate moments that are far more pivotal toward resolution. So you often surround yourself with 'conditions' when you are experiencing self-karma? Oh yes. Depending on the extent and depth of the Self-Karma, the more conditional your existence. "I can be beautiful as I am, as long as I am invisible." Those "conditions" generate a false reality, and that is what gets exhausting, not the actual process of resolution. Sustaining a false reality as a means to balance the divisions within is literally exhausting. All Self-Karma can be resolved in an instant once the truth of the absolute superficiality and uselessness is comprehended. ALL Self-Karma are simply forms of self-discipline that have gone awry in the self-parenting process. Or put another way, generated during the Third Internal Monad. Is the majority of self-karma generated during or through the 3rd IM or are their other times/experiences that generate a certain amount of self-karma as well? Self-Karma is almost entirely generated during the Third Internal Monad, and complicated or refined over the rest of the life. For instance: there may be the experience of being rejected based on appearance, which prompts one to be very concerned about appearance, which then becomes a divide within that acceptance is based heavily upon appearance, which then becomes specific to certain body parts, or spreads to include the entire body. So it might be useful looking at the experiences surrounding the 3rd IM in order to help identify some of the behaviours that are self-karmic? Find their genesis, so to speak, and understanding what has given rise to them, be able to put them into a more proper perspective? It is not necessary to understand from where or when these were generated. It will never matter where or when these were generated, as it is the current "you" who make the choices now. It would be similar to trying to understand when, where, and why you have brown hair. It does not matter. You have the choice to embrace that color, or to change it. We pointed out the timeframe of origin as a means to point out that many of these issues are "teen age" or "young soul" levels of issues, or even younger, and that their bearing has little validity or relevance to you as an adult or older soul. Self-karma is created by ourselves and not circumstances or others... Correct. It is created when one interferes with one's own choices to the point that it generates a divide within. Thanks Michael. You've touched on some of this already, but here's my original question/s: Could you comment on how Self Karma tends to be experienced across all soul ages, or is it more likely to be confronted by us as we mature in soul age? If you are alive, you most likely experience Self-Karma. Most Self-Karma is relative to the predominant Soul Age for your planet, or your current society within which you were nurtured. So there are links to Social/Cultural soul age? Relative...? All Soul Ages experience Self-Karma, but it is true that there are emphases within each: Infant and Old tend toward Spiritual Issues; Baby tends toward Intellectual/Expression Issues; Young tends toward Physical/Body Issues; and Mature toward Emotional/Relationship Issues. Though Old tends toward Spiritual Issues, they are prone to taking on the predominant issues of the times, and can run that gamut of issues across the soul ages, depending on what is of interest for exploration that has never been resolved. Most Old Souls that we know of have yet to resolve Self-Karmic issues remembered from their Young Soul days and are finally "getting around to them" now. That is because the current society fully supports Young Soul issues involving appearance, body, health, etc. When most of you were in your Young Soul days, your "Baby" or Intellectual/Expression issues were most explored. We would also point out that now that the planet is technically Mature Soul, newer generations would generate their Self-Karma during the Fourth Internal Monad. In an Old Soul Society, these would be generated during the Fifth Internal Monad. The predominant Soul Age during the lifetime usually indicates when the Self-Karma is generated, and though it can also indicate what kind, it is not necessarily limited to that. Does this mean we would have to wait for society to catch up to work through mature and old soul issues? No, we simply speak about the practicality of the times, since Self-Karma is generated and contained within the single Personality, which is most-often imprinted by the current society, but anyone can work on anything at any time. Oh, I misunderstood -- there are four categories of Self-Karma, but one only develops an issue within one category during any given lifetime? No. The timeframe for when they are usually generated is fairly consistent, and it can indicate the root of many issues, but could include issues from any category. In your response to another question, you mentioned that one must choose between being themselves and compromising to keep the peace. How do you accept that finding that compromise may never occur and to be accepting that your best attempts to rectify a situation will never be enough while accepting that the consequences of the failure of another will happen to them, without it creating the self-karma of guilt or shame? I seem to have this type of pattern repeating through the past five or ten years for me and I'd really like to break it somehow. We see that is a helpful question that addresses the nature of resolution when it is valid. In this case, if one were to choose to compromise for the sake of keeping the peace and does not experience this compromise as an assault against one's being, but finds that compromise still does nothing, then the the point of Being Oneself is still intact, as it is clarified that no amount of compromise makes a difference, and that the issue was never about one's Being. From that space within the original resolution, it would be a matter of decisions based on what to do with these individuals, and not to do with oneself. This may lead to another layer of Self-Karma because it might get to the Self-Karma one might have about who "should love me, no matter what." Do you endure the suffering within their presence as a means to receive potential love, or do you remove yourself from those people who should love you. In short, it might move into issues about where love, and what love, is in your life. Is it more loving to remove yourself from the exhausting exchanges, or is it more loving to allow room for their lack of love for your presence as you choose to love anyway. In most instances where one feels one must continually endure the presence of another while feeling exhausted and even damaged, then the question is not about love, but about Rights. Could you explain further on your definition of Rights? We will include our Map of Rights in the final transcript (see relevant entry here), but as an example: every fragment has the Right to Love and Be Loved, and this Right is either supported or removed in the process of a lifetime. So it might be a question of whether those who refuse to love have more of a right to your love than you do? Just curious about the obstacles to resolution of self-karma...what tends to keep us from resolving them? Are these obstacles different for the various soul ages? The most-common obstacles to resolution are boredom, specialness, and crisis management: Boredom is the result of rejection of Essence, and like a dog with anxiety cut off from his sense of resource, can chew off his own skin to keep busy with distraction. Specialness is a result of rejection of Uniqueness, and spends all of its energy seeking constant external validation for any sense of value. Uniqueness requires nothing for it to Be; it is inherent. Specialness requires constant feedback. Crisis Management is a result of rejection, or distortion, of one's strengths gained over the lifetime. It becomes far more familiar and routine to manage crises, or patterns of issues, than it is to use those strengths for managing the creation of the life, and new patterns of freedom. Boredom is usually linked to Self-Destruction and Greed; Specialness to Self-deprecation and Arrogance; and Crises to Impatience and Martyrdom. Put another way, Boredom often perpetuates Intellectual issues; Specialness perpetuates Emotional issues; and Crises perpetuates Physical Issues. That is a generality, but it is fairly consistent, keeping in mind that there may be layers within a Self-Karma. Could you give an example of Crisis Management in the final transcript? I am not sure I understand that one. We can give an example now: It is much more comforting and familiar to, say, manage the trauma and pain caused by your struggling to accept an invitation where you feel your appearance will be scrutinized, than to simply go, or not. Crisis Management vs Life Management. Crisis vs Choice. Crisis vs Creativity. Hello Michaels & Troy! Initially I wanted to ask WHY self-karma arises and why would we ever want to interfere with our own choices to the point of generating a divide, but I understand that the channel may be tired by now, so will ask instead if you could give an example of the most typical form of self-karma for an Old soul? We can answer both: Why one generates Self-Karma is simple to understand if one does not see it as such an imposition, but as a process of learning that moves from the experience of duality and into the experience of a spectrum, or wholeness. In every instance of Self-Karma there is duality, and in every resolution there is a spectrum, or wholeness. Self-Karma generates from over-simplifying, and Resolution comes from embracing complexity. In every lifetime, every Personality is born an Infant Soul in perspective, and seeks to not only return to the greater perspective already reached in previous lives, but to exceed that. However, this process includes a process from Duality to Spectrum, so to speak, so none escape that process. There is no typical Self-Karma for the Old Soul. If the Old Soul lives in an Old Soul world, then the Self-Karma might tend toward Spiritual issues as "typical," but otherwise, the Self-Karma tends toward the predominant Soul Age of the planet or environment. However, for the sake of example, a "typical" Old Soul/Spiritual Issue could be said to be the resolution between the fact of the current Personality as it exists among all Personalities across time for Essence. Recognizing the profundity of how small one really is in the scheme of things while seeking to retain a sense of identity, contribution, and participation can be terrifying. This is why we say that Old Souls learn through Terror. END OF CHAT
  5. This question was originally posted by Lisa on 6/4/08. I was wondering where the soul resides: does its energy infuse the body totally? Does it have a little corner of the brain that it "lives" in? Or is it completely remote from the body? Just wondering how it interacts, i guess, with the body. FROM MICHAEL: The soul/Essence is a kind of magnetic energy structure that is formless, but can take form, and does generate a form that could be described as the "etheric body," which acts a kind of matrix system that then generates the body you recognize as Physical. In other words, it is not that the body has a soul, but that the soul has a body. The physical body and personality exists within the structure of what is Essence and while Essence houses the body, the body and personality are independent within that structure, much like a scuba diver might swim freely within an ocean. The Essence is the lifeline for the body, much like an air tank might be what allows the diver to swim freely, but the body and personality can choose to acknowledge this and tend to it, or it can ignore it. In the case of human sentience, this "lifeline" or air tank, the soul, resides in the brain, but is not limited to the brain, and actively extends beyond it as it dynamically interacts, magnetizes, and repels other magnetic structures, or Essences.
  6. OMW - Nov 17, 2012 - Your Aura (Part One) Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, and we will begin our discussion about the concept of Auras. There are many teachings that focus more directly upon this concept, and many of them are fairly detailed and valid as to how we experience this subject, so what we offer today is a perspective that can be put alongside any of your favorite teachings on this subject for comparison and validation. First, we will define the Aura as an umbrella term to catch all aspects of the Body that go beyond that which can be seen. In more technical terms, these are layers of the body that help to generate and sustain "down" through spectrum the more tangible Body/s that you know so well. In even more accurate terms, these could be said to be your version of every Plane that exists. In other words, your Physical Body is YOUR VERSION of the Physical Plane. The Physical Body that you know is your Essence's idea given form, but its condition, state of health, growth and maintenance are your own actions, ideas, and feelings given form. The Physical Body at any given point is the end result of all actions, ideas, and feelings. Therefore, it is not the body that emits an aura, but your aura that emits a body. What most people see is the densest part of the Aura, but your tangible, Physical body, technically, is still just a part of the Aura. That is because "you" are a projection of Essence into matter. In truth, "you" are not separate from this, and never would be, even in the Personalities who are most-rejecting of Essence. That person, Personality, and Body would not be able to exist if not for its being an extension of Essence. It is helpful to explore the duality of Personality and Essence for the sake of embracing and Manifesting Essence, if one so chooses to do so, but it will always be true that they are, technically, one and the same. YOU are ESSENCE, even if not Manifesting Essence. All forms in the Physical Plane are an emission from another plane. There is nothing of the Physical Plane that is not originated in the "non-physical." [GeraldineB] Question: Does a developing fetus use the mother's essence until the baby is both born AND inhabited by its own Essence? MEntity: The entirety of the Physical Plane is merely ideas and feelings given form, if you will. There are variations in how the development of a fetus comes about. In most instances, though this fetus is technically an extension of the Essence wishing to be born, it is still merely an extension of the body of the mother until the first breath, and is not fully representative of the originating Essence until after 7 years of life. There are many fetuses that are generated without any Essence ever intending to use them, and these are extensions of the mother's body. [Diane_HB] Are those fetuses then miscarried? [Maureen] or stillborn? MEntity: In most instances, yes, or aborted in other ways. When a fetus is taken through birth without an Essence wishing to have used it, it can be sustained by the mother's Essence only for the first 7 years, but this is usually not sustained for more than 3. [Diane_HB] Wow [GeraldineB] Is this the cause of Personalities being stuck in 2nd IM? MEntity: No body is born without representing an extension of an Essence, but it can be born without a commitment to living. Geraldine, in what way do you mean your question. Please elaborate. [GeraldineB] I should have said: When a baby does finally get an Essence later in life, i.e., up to 7 years -- is this the primary cause of being stuck in 2nd IMs -- i.e., very tied to the mother MEntity: No. Not necessarily. When an Essence "walks in," it will live as any other Essence, even with that delay in living through that body. The Instinctive Center for that Body would be extracted to the Essence who had been sustaining that body, and a new one "inserted." The first 7 years are quite easy to "erase" in terms of "baggage," whereas a Walk-In who enters later in the life would have more of the life experiences stored in the cells of that body, and spend up to 7 years sifting through those. We digress. [Maureen] Michael -- can we assume that an actual "walk-in" will also have a different aura? If so -- that would take some adjusting for the "grown-up" body. [Maureen] Michael -- if you want to continue -- please save that question for the end. [MEntity] That would be correct, Maureen, but in all Walk-Ins, there is a shared transitional period between the two Essences who negotiated the exchange. Or the body would die. [Maureen] Thank you MEntity: To continue: As the aura emits a body, the health of that most tangible body is directly connected to what is being fed into the emission, if you will. In the most obvious sense, how you treat your body, how you feed it, what you feed it, how you comfort it, etc., feeds into the health and shape of the body, but this is also true of what you feed it in terms of ideas and emotions. The more intangible the source, the more long-term the impact. In other words, what you DO with your body makes a difference in how your body looks, feels, and lives, and however long of a time you may think that may take, your thoughts and feelings take "even longer" to move into form, and to move out of form. This is why treatments of illness can often require processes that address the intellect and emotion far longer than the physical treatments. For most fragments, the gestation period of the body that is being used for Sentience tends to be the time frame of cycles for coming into physicality. In other words, emotions and thoughts that are sustained for more than 9 months find their way into "birth" into the body. This can tend to mean that it takes AT LEAST that long for healing and transformation of any ideas or feelings looking to be healed or transformed. This is good to know when taking up any effort to make a difference to your body, whether in shape, health, diet, mood, habit, etc. The more tangible parts of the Aura are those that relate to what you relate to as the Action/Physical, and the Emotional/Astral, and to some great extent the Intellectual/Causal. The visibility of these layers is valid, and each has counterparts that are tangible to the Physical Plane, literally or intuitively. For those who worry about whether they can see or not see Auras, we can say to you that your greatest concern is what you "read" in the aura that IS your body that you know. You do not need to see or read the colors and shapes that show up as part of the higher auras. Learning to listen to your body, and to treat it with long-term care, is one of the greatest gifts of "aura reading" one can develop. EVERY fragment has this capacity. Between the Physical and the Astral Bodies is the Etheric Body. The Etheric Body is where the more intangible and tangible is processed and filtered. It is the last stop for filtering and processing of Emotions and Thoughts that are coming into density. It is the body that is most directly linked to the health of the body, and gives rise to everything you know of as your body. It is a kind of matrix for the body, a template that holds the body together in space and time. It could be said to be the atmosphere for your body, and it can be toxic or pure, and usually a mixture. It is a representative of your Instinctive Center. This is the body that remains in space and time, even if that part of the Physical Body is removed, such as in the "phantom limb" effect. In some parallels, and in many probable futures, this Etheric Body is measurable and practical in its use for regrowing lost limbs and organs, or for promoting the growth of them if missing. Most of you can see this Etheric Body, and can do so by holding your hand out over a blank wall in a dimly-lit room. Allowing your eyes to fall into a kind of peripheral vision, or passive state, you may begin to see a blue-ish glow emit from your hand and arm. This is NOT the optical illusion that is left by the hand movements against your sight. The optical illusion is fairly gray in its visual, but the Etheric would be in some hue and brightness of blue. [GeraldineB] Since the Etheric Body is part of our Physical Body -- is it included in our DNA, even if not visible or known at this time? MEntity: DNA is in the Etheric, as DNA is also an extension of the higher layers of the aura, but not the other way around. In other words, DNA has its own Etheric body, if you will. It is a replica of whatever it is holding in time and space. [GeraldineB] and this is why limbs can eventually be regrown MEntity: Yes. [Diane_HB] When healers say they can "update" their DNA, are they really referring to the etheric DNA? MEntity: This is already a natural state for some species on your planet, and would eventually be replicated in your own species through the proper use of electrical stimulations. [Diane_HB] oooh [Maureen] Is it Salamanders that can re-grow a tail that has been clipped off? [Martha] starfish too, right? [GeraldineB] all lizards, I think MEntity: Diane, we do not know what is meant by "updating of DNA." There are many who presume to "unlock" various "advanced" elements of one's DNA, but this is a bogus notion in terms of doing so through one's mere intention. [GeraldineB] even snakes regrow their tips MEntity: Altering one's DNA through intention is about as useful as willing yourself a third arm if you did not already have one. [GeraldineB] LOL [Diane_HB] lol [Maureen] LOL MEntity: It is not that it is impossible to have a third arm, but if it is not already in place, it would take a great deal of effort and intervention to obtain this. It is true that the DNA of an individual can be altered within the lifetime, but we can discuss that subject in another exchange. [GeraldineB] Maureen -- add it to the list ? MEntity: The Astral or Emotional Body is the next-closest to the Physical Body in terms of its density. Its counterparts in the Physical show up as colors, hues, and a kind of various density of fog. This can be intuited through the imagination, or literally seen with the eyes in some individuals. The Astral Body is reflective of the Emotional state of any individual at any given time. It can change and vary on a constant basis. There are three layers to this Body in the Aura: The most-immediate layer is the CHARACTER layer. This is the layer that carries the more long-term moods and feelings that have generated from that person. This is the layer that most sense upon meeting someone for the first time. No matter how delightful or unpleasant someone may be in a social situation, this level of CHARACTER can be sensed, and it may not reflect the more immediate presentation. This layer is where all Agreements are stored, managed, activated, updated, and abdicated. The GOAL is most infused or "programmed" in the Physical Body, whereas the MODE is most infused, or "programmed" in this layer of the Emotional/Astral Body. These are not exclusive to these Bodies, but these are where they tend to function from. This is also where one's active Karma and Self-Karma are stored, managed, updated, or abdicated. This is the layer of the self that gets shared as one "gets to know" another. The Soul Age can be read from this layer. The colors here tend to be fairly steady in mix and hue, but do change as various Agreements are fulfilled and altered. And with any great shifts in perspective of Soul Age or Level. [GeraldineB] Do you read this layer when answering Profiles? MEntity: No. We read the Akashic Records. But many of our channels read from this Body of a student. [GeraldineB] Is this part of the reason for requesting a photo? MEntity: If photos are used, or requirements for in-person, it would tend to be the channel reading and interpreting. This layer is also where one stores and processes most dreams. The next layer "up" in this Astral Body would be the MOOD layer of the fragment. This is far more changeable and colorful, and is less-dense, more immediate in reflection of the emotional processes of the fragment. This is the layer that is often "presented" to others, and more directly in control from the Personality. When your mood changes, so does this layer of the body. This layer helps pick and choose from the Character layer what to deal with, what to ignore, what to consciously process, what not to process, etc. Whatever it is "in the mood" to tend to. Consider the Character Layer to be the Moving Part of the Emotional Body, whereas the Mood Layer is the Instinctive Part of the Emotional Body. It is often driven by aims toward emotional pleasure and away from emotional pain. The highest layer [Contemplation Layer] of the Astral Body then is the Intellectual Part of the Emotional Body, and this is the layer where shift begins from something simply being a theory or idea to becoming a belief. This is where one begins to prove or disprove one's ideas about life, self, and others. In terms of how this works as a whole, once one has built a case for an idea and emotionally charges it, it then moves down into the Mood, and eventually into the Character level. If one is working with others to help alter beliefs, it would need to be on this layer, because once it is past this layer, it cannot be changed, only counteracted. A new belief would need to be brought in, and from there, the choice for which to use would make the difference. Keep this in mind for your own work on altering your repetitive behaviors that reinforce beliefs that you wish to change. Let them be. Allow them to exist. You cannot change them. But you CAN add new ones, and the focus on that is far more effective than battling your unwanted ones. In the end, the effect is the same as altering a belief, but in technical terms, one can only add new ones from which to choose. [GeraldineB] So, for my attempt to quit smoking, it should be to DO something else, rather than stop/prevent smoking? MEntity: In terms of unwanted habits, the physical counterpart can be halted, and that is the "easy" part, but the belief will not change that motivated and secured the habit, which is why new habits might form around that belief, even if more acceptable in form. [GeraldineB] thank you MEntity: In terms of beliefs, whatever motivated you to secure this unwanted habit as a reflection of that belief cannot be changed, but new ones can be added, or brought to light, that allows for greater choice of emphasis. Smoking is almost always a habit born of the belief that one is ultimately alone, on their own, and profoundly lacking intimacy. [GeraldineB] Ahhh . . .when I was choosing double Arrogance MEntity: It is a means for filling the void in the Emotional Center, in the most literal way possible. Inhaling the smoke soothes this void. Though the social contracts are changing now, this habit also helped to bring about the interaction with others that may have been craved, as it was a social habit. [Maureen] very interesting [Martha] all smoking - tobacco and marijuana? MEntity: Only habitual smoking. For those who wish to stop smoking, it can be greatly effective to interact with others when one would otherwise smoke, or to acknowledge the truth of one's importance to others. [GeraldineB] thank you -- I see how it's been playing to isolate me due to the current restrictions and reactions [Maureen] no wonder it's such a hard habit to give up! MEntity: It can be interesting to play out the physical motions that have become familiar with smoking, while lying down new beliefs through considering one's importance, or socializing in whatever way is accessible at the moment. It may then become more obvious that you simply wanted company, not a cigarette. It can become its own meditation. When one is working to build new beliefs, it can be helpful to imagine this layer of your body as a colorful and playful space full of symbols for arranging new beliefs. For instance, if no one is available to talk or socialize, let yourself fake smoke, while playing out social scenarios in your imagination, such as meeting people you think you may never meet, or hugging those you miss, or talking freely in ways that you normally would not. Etc. But we digress. If each of you would like to examine your own Emotional/Astral layers of the body, here are some ways for doing so: First: establish color associations with feelings. These are fairly set for your species now, and can be explored through many teachings on color and mood, but also through one's understanding of Chakras and the color associations there. Second: allow your imagination to interpret your loved ones, relationships, feelings, moods, and experiences as those colors. Let yourself get a sense of what color your day is, what color a relationship is, what color your project or idea is, etc. LET YOURSELF have these colors. This means, do not push for them, and do not presume there is a right or wrong color. Simply invite it. In your worst-case scenario of blocking imagination, it could be said that if you simply cannot imagine these or see them, ask yourself what they would be IF YOU COULD. Using your color associations, or chakra association, you can begin to build up a fairly good idea about what your Aura "looks like". For now, we will suggest an experiential experiment right now for you to try: Give yourself some breathing room, breathe deeply no less than three times, eyes closed, and let your imagination explore your body, looking for a fairly solid area of color or colors, and note those colors, and where around your body you are "seeing" these. It may come up as a blob to your left, or a soft hint behind you, or a rich color surrounding you, but there is no one way any of you should expect to see this. Once you have a description, you may share it here, if you wish. [Diane_HB] I have a strip of red on the outer edge of my aura at chest height, going all the way around. Also a sky blue blob right on the third chakra/stomach. [Martha] green and purple, but I'm having trouble concentrating as Morgan is here and the TV is on [Maureen] I got soft pink all around -- then it changed to soft blue and purple -- and I had green around the eyes [Maureen] actually -- I got a blue blob on my 3rd chakra as well Diane! [Maureen] LOL [Diane_HB] cool ? [Martha] the green and purple are layered all around, purple is a muted fuschia [Maureen] I thought it might be indigestion! [Maureen] ? [Diane_HB] LOL MEntity: If you choose not to submit a response, please indicate so that we may continue. [GeraldineB] I'm not seeing anything [ClaireC] I'm out MEntity: We offered up this experiment for the point of two things: one, is for you to "see" where our teaching is in the Character of your Aura, and the other is for the experience of how easily or challenged you may be in calling up this imagination on the spot. If you saw Blue in your visualization, you found our part of your Aura, and where our teaching is most used by you. For most fragments, anything associated with what has become a personal guidance system, or teaching, can be found in or around any Blue. [Martha] what's the name for the third layer? We have Character, Mood, and ? MEntity: Character, Mood, and Contemplation Layers. [Martha] Hmmm, my purple was closest to the body, with green as the second layer. I did see some blue early on but when I had to visualize a body to get specific about position I didn't see it MEntity: If you did not "see" it, it is not that it was not there, but that your awareness went to something else. [Martha] yeah, I saw a flash of it at first, a rich blue MEntity: Blue, or one's teaching, is often a part of Green and Purple because of various factors. [Maureen] The colour at my 3rd chakra is a rich deep blue. [Diane_HB] I also saw dark blue going into purple from the eye level up. [Martha] 6th and 7th chakras are traditionally indigo and purple, right? MEntity: For this experiment, after you have a clear description of colors and location, explore various correlations of these color meanings, and how the location may relate to the nearest chakra. Keep in mind that you are looking at the CHARACTER layer, so you are looking at your long-term states of emotion that make up who you are. Your visualizations may change in your assessment of this, but that is not because the body changed, but that you are exploring different angles on it. To explore your MOOD Layer, one of the most tangible ways to do so is through a synchronistic oracle system, such as Tarot, or color-coded cards, or the drawing of keywords, or some other system of randomness that gives you insight into this layer of your emotional body. We have yet to cover the Causal Body, and to go into more exploratory and applicable ways to understand the Aura, so we are arranging with Troy for a "part two" on this subject, for this particular group. It will be scheduled by consensus among you for when this would be. [Maureen] Michael -- would you answer my question about my old friend Geraldine? An old friend Geraldine Smith-Stringer (Mature 5, Server-cast Artisan) could see the Aura remarkably well. The colours she would see represented what you brought in at birth. If she saw photos from throughout your lifetime – she could tell when you had “blocked” certain natural abilities and the times when they had flourished. Because of her influence I tend to pick up “colours” the same way. What layer was she seeing/reading? MEntity: In response to the question, this could be of the Character Layer, but it also sounds like layers from the Causal Body, if these are determined as having been in place since birth. If you are having trouble with using the imagination to "see," it is not a matter of anything other than personal preference. Some do not trust the imagination, or have, long ago, written it off as dangerous territory. Beyond that, some may simply have a hard time visualizing, which means that it may be more helpful to explore the aura in more appealing symbolic forms, such as foods, smells, animals, etc. In other words, IF my aura were to be made up of foods, what comes to mind, and where is that on my body? Or what animals come to mind when I think of my heart, my head, my body as a whole, etc. (Note: It was decided by Michael that there would be a Part 2 or follow up session on the Character Layer. Troy was fading. glb) Note: This session continues in OMW: Your Aura (Part Two).
  7. ENERGY REPORTFebruary 20162016 OVERLEAVESROLE: Server (emphasized all year)CENTER: Moving (emphasized all year)GOAL: Discrimination (emphasized Jan - Mar)MODE: Caution (emphasized Apr - Jun)ATTITUDE: Cynic (emphasized Jul - Sep)CHIEF FEATURES: Self-destruction (emphasized Oct - Dec)FEBRUARY carries forward the high sensitivity that accompanies the Server qualities of the year. This sensitivity is either the undoing of your days or the strength that you use for addressing areas in your life crying out for greater nurturing. This is part of how the Server energies works. When there is resistance to the nature to nurture and care for the self and/or others then there grows a recoiling, a weariness, exhaustion, resentment, and then the sensitivity that was there to help you care becomes a burden (to self and others). When there is an embrace of the nature to nurture and care for the self and/or others then there grows an openness, enthusiasm, energy and kindness, and then the sensitivity that was there to help you care becomes a strength (to self and others). If you find that your year has started out with recoil and resentment, you may be rejecting being responsible for the nurture that is necessary in your life in some way, some area, some relationship. If you find that your year has started out with openness and enthusiasm, you are either already nurturing your life in ways that require little extra attention, or you understand that there are areas that require more of you, more of your nurturing, and more of your care. For many of our students the above may be difficult to sort out if your year has started from within the processes of Grief, but even then the above is helpful because Grief is a separate process from the insight that nurture is needed in your life. In fact, if Grief has been a part of your year, it is even more important to take a moment and note that nurture cannot be compromised when one is grieving. One of the behaviors that extends the process of grief far beyond its natural cycles is the rejection of nurturing and the recoiling from responsibility of caring.Servers know this dance all too well. The dance between the desire to care and the recoiling from the responsibilities that come with caring. Of all Roles, the Server can be of the most effective and caring of souls and of the most apathetic and shut down of souls. In a year where Server is the underpinning of the energy for the year, you may find a wide array of behaviors that range between caring “too much” and caring too little. When there is “too much” care it is usually no longer a matter of caring, but a matter of controlling. One cannot truly care too much, but one can care to an extent that the care distorts into wishing to control that which is the focus of care. But one can care too little. One can disengage, refuse, and reject because the caring is too hard, too inconvenient, too much work, too much energy, too much of something. And then the solution seems practical to simply shut down, enlist apathy or begrudging bitterness until someone else does the work that you could help do.Caring too little, and caring “too much” are the two most effective ways to inadvertently nurture the experience of loneliness.Loneliness is the conscious or subconscious refusal to care appropriately. You have decided that your state of caring is what matters more than the state of caring that is needed. So you care too much or too little and then you are lonely. Humans are of the loneliest creatures of reason in any known Sentient species because of the love/hate relationship with Server energy. Loneliness dissolves as one learns better how to manage the caring side of the self.We will discuss this quality over the year to help our students understand this in useful ways because it will be a factor for the entire year.In addition to the Server qualities of the year, there will also be the emphasis on the Moving Center. This is not a popular Center among our students, so many of our students may find the emphasis brings with it anxiety, agitation, heightened sexual activity or plummeting energy as you reject the Moving Center altogether. This is a year when your Bodies need to be included. In many years the body can be “carried along with you,” but in a Moving Centered year, you ARE your body. Your body will reflect more quickly and effectively exactly where you are with your processes. If you are upset, so will your body be. If you are shutting down, so will your body. If you are angry, your body will react as an extension of this. Your tempers may be high. Your sadnesses may be deep. Your bliss may be amazing. In short, your “feelings” are going to be “all over the place.”Most fragments think of “feelings” as emotions, but they are not. Feelings are by-products of emotion, but they are what you DO with emotional energy. What most people “do” with emotional energy is redirect it into the body and then this is what becomes “feelings.” So you love, and instead of that being a state of informative emotion, it becomes a feeling. You hate, and instead of this being a state of informative emotion, it becomes a feeling. You are angry, and instead of this being an informative emotion, it becomes a feeling. In other words, because emotion is so misunderstood and distrusted because of its amorphous qualities, Humans have learned to immediately give form to emotion in the processes of the body. And this is “feelings.” And this is why “feelings” then are never the truth and cannot be trusted in the same way that intuition can be trusted, even as “feelings” and “intuition” are often mistaken for one another. We will discuss this further with our students over the year, as well. For now, it can be helpful to start with your directing your “feelings” into something grounding, meaningful, and productive. If you are upset, go for a walk. If you are sad, hug a pillow. If you are angry, dance. DO something and allow those feelings to move through you so that your Moving Center can stay clear, clean, and balanced for more effective responses to events and relationships.February brings with it a deeper dive into Discrimination as the Goal for the year. For February, we will simply say that you will either get better at the above or dig deeper into resistance. Because Discrimination is a Goal that emphasizes the practice, art, and skill of Choice, we will only say that it is up to you. It is your choice. Your choice is always important, and it remains important in this case where you may find yourself recoiling further or embracing the care and kindness in the world around and with you.DATES OF INTEREST (dates are approximate):February 06 - 09 -- ENERGY SHIFT - COMPLETIONS/BEGINNINGS - a shift of energy here seems to be all about a sense of endings and a launch into beginnings. This can be experienced a relief, enthusiasm, and refreshing perspective and energy, or it can be experienced as dread, sadness, and overwhelm. The difference in experience is relative to your method of caring. If it is “too much” it may be that you wish to control more than you realize. If it is not caring enough, it may be because you do not want the responsibility of caring. It may be time to learn better how to care, and this is another chance.February 08 - 17 -- NEXUS - DIVERGENCE - This is one of the more major parallel shifts of the year, lasting approximately 10 days or more. This parallel shift involves planetary shifts toward more humanitarian and peaceful paths or toward more turbulent and disruptive paths, or toward more “of the same.” These patterns are already well underway and in momentum. There is nothing more for you to do and various “you’s” will likely explore all directions, but as you pass through this Nexus, you may feel the effects of letting go of directions that “this you” has no interest in, and a renewed focus on the direction of conscious intention.HELPFUL THOUGHTS OVER FEBRUARY:LONELINESS IS AN INVITATION TO CARE DIFFERENTLY - If you experience loneliness, it is not a punishment or permanent state, but a part of you longing to care differently. Loneliness can mean that you would rather control outcomes than to care, or to avoid responsibility rather than care. It may be time for you to surrender and open yourself to possibilities outside of your limited expectations, and/or to stand up, brush yourself off, take a deep breath, and reach out again. And again. And again. Until you retrain your energy and your world to reach back with kindness.YOUR BODIES ARE YOU - It is true that your Physical Body does not carry with you when you die, but until then, it is a part of you. In fact, while Physical, it is fair to say that it IS you. It was never separate from you. It was never hosting you. You were never carrying it. You ARE it. Your Essence loves you and all variations of you. One of the most important experiences you learn as a Personality is how to then love the body that is you, and all of its variations. And by “variations” we mean its states of health, its missteps, its beauty, its ugliness, its distortions, its fluctuations of weight, strengths, and weaknesses, and its aging. Your body is not dying, it is doing. It is doing what it does. Just as you do what you do. Everything you do contributes to your evolution and expansion, and everything that your body is does the same for you. It is a beautiful and symbiotic relationship that stretches across dimensions. Your Astral Body is not shamed or rejected for its processes of Emotion, and your Causal Body is not shamed for its processes of Intellect, and so it goes that your Physical Body requires no shame or rejection for its processes of Action. One of the most important things you can ever do in a lifetime is to evolve your affection and care for your body because it is not a burden. It is your entire arena of this life.
