    Adoption & Future life traumas

Hi everyone, I have the two questions below and wonder if the Micheals ever commented on them: 1) Is adopting another person or being adopted by a family a pre-natal agreement? I think this is something that has an immense effect on one’s life and I wonder if such agreements are made in the astral before we incarnate just like our agreements with our closest support circle. 2) If time is not linear and all our incarnations are being played out simultaneously, why don’t we ever remember our future lives? Why do we mostly suffer from past life trauma but not future life trauma? What’s happening here? Another related question: After this current incarnation, can I for instance incarnate in 12th century if I choose to? I appreciate your input. Thank you
  2. Michael Speaks Live How Reincarnation Works -- Part I June 28, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we will talk about reincarnation, and how it works. Many of our students come to our teaching with presumptions of how reincarnation works, and most never ask about it. As our teaching is built from the questions of our students, and not from our simply deciding what you should know, the subject of reincarnation has been overlooked, despite its being such an intrinsic premise of this teaching. Much of what we will share today will not be new, but it may come together in a succinct way that is new for many. The primary understanding of how reincarnation works is quite accurate, but is simply not the whole story. Reincarnation IS linear. It does move forward in a way that reflects an evolution. So what has been shared in terms of this linear progression is certainly not misleading. It is just that there is more to it than that. So we will not be contradicting anything you already know from us. If there were no linear progression there would be no Soul Ages. So we will begin in our elaboration by saying that time and space of the Physical Plane are profoundly alive, made of an energy that does not "die," and is dynamic beyond what is currently understood as fact in sciences. It is speculated in many ways through mysticism and quantum physics, but as Essence, it is not speculation or magical. As we deliver this through Troy, there may be pauses as he unpacks new concepts or rearranges them into meaningful ways. Delivery speed will increase as we go. To help you understand how reincarnation works, we will use familiar tools and experiences as analogy. In this case, to start off, think of the Physical Plane as something more like an ocean into which one dives for an incarnation. If the ocean is the Physical Plane, then its container and depths are "space" while currents and movement of waves are "time." When you incarnate, your Essence never truly "dives" into that water. It is represented by its creation. "You." The vessel through which the dive is made possible. The beacon with which Essence remains connected to the Body is the Instinctive Center. Essence cannot swim, so to speak, so it can only "watch" from a distance, metaphorically speaking, of course. Once the body/Personality is created, those first 7 years are almost entirely in the hands of the caretakers raising the child, acting as extensions of the caretakers/parents. Those 7 years are the only years in which the choices of the Personality are not fully its own. There are either choices being made from an anatomic state, or being made on behalf of the child by the caretakers. This anatomic state is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center. It is based on a combination of the programming from Essence, and the survival mechanisms of the body. Over the course of those 7 years, the brain is then capable of generating the field that will be understood as the consciousness of that Personality. But it can take between 3 and 7 years for any body, regardless of Soul Age, to generate the capacity for consciousness to be sustained by the Body and Personality. Until that spark of consciousness lights up, the brain is only remembering in terms of sensory perceptions relative to survival, even if it is storing a great deal more. Anything stored beyond the necessity for survival can be retrieved once the consciousness is activated. To simplify this picture, it is as if Essence programs a disc, pops it into the body as it is being formed, and upon first breath, that body is on its own until it gains its first spark of consciousness. As consciousness expands in that Personality/Body, so does its capacity to give space and time to Essence. As "you" begin to expand in awareness of Essence, then Essence is no longer relegated to a passive position. It can begin to experience the world with you, through you, AS you. This is important to understand as it speaks to the process of the Internal Monads we describe. As each Internal Monad is fulfilled in the Positive Pole, a greater window of time and space is given to Essence through you. The Internal Monads describe how you allow Essence to exist through you, as you. Soul Age, on the other hand, describes how YOU progress toward existing through Essence, AS Essence. In Infant Soul lifetimes, the gap between Essence and Personality is the farthest, if you will, while the gap between Essence and Personality in the older Soul Ages closes. Within each Soul Age, the gap between Essence and Personality is farthest during the 1st Internal Monad, and closes as one moves through the 7th. This will be important to understand in a few moments. The Instinctive Center is something that is born of every Body. It is a blank disc, or "drive," if you will, in every body. Essence does not separate itself from the disc that is "inserted" into a body, but rather gives a COPY to that body. The "original" version remains with Essence. The "copy" is left with the Body/Personality. This is from which the Life Plan, Life Task, Agreements, genetic emphases, and Overleaves will arise for that body. The "copy" and the "original" are on a Frequency that is exactly the same as the Frequency of Essence, which is unique to that Essence and no other. Each of our students are fairly familiar with Frequency in terms of how one processes experiences, and so forth, and you may know your Frequency as 70 or 35 or 55, etc., but in terms of Essences, your Frequency number includes a massive string of decimal points beyond that number, entirely unique to you. That Frequency keeps Essence linked to the Instinctive Center "disc" that was inserted into a life. Regardless of how the brain will function for that Personality, that Instinctive Center will record everything experienced. Everything. It is the local Akashic Records of the body. In even the most resistant and limited of Personalities, the Instinctive Center "uploads" all new data to Essence every 7 years. So even if a Personality actively and effectively rejects Essence, that Essence will still get its updates about that Personality and those updates will "write" onto the original copy of the "disc" that is with Essence. That original copy that is with Essence is always with Essence and is updated in each of these 7 year Reviews, and in after death Review. However, that "copy" that was given to the Personality is forever unique to that Personality. It will not be destroyed, nor lost. Over the course of your incarnations as Essence, the Personalities that "you" were never die, either. In the same way that Entities are comprised of fragments who are Essence, Essence is comprised of fragments who are Personalities. "You," as Essence, are everything you have ever been, while "you" as Personality are utterly and entirely unique to who you are, every single lifetime. There will never be another "you." In either sense of the word. In those early incarnations, and soul ages, when Essence and Personality are at the greater distances apart, this is why the idea of having one life is emphasized. It is not inaccurate. You, as YOU, live but once. But even this is a bit of a misnomer. And this is where we will be venturing into some difficult territory for some. As each lifetime is generated, each Personality brought to life, each copy of a disc made for a Personality as a beacon for Essence, and even as each body dies, Essence is never limited by this in terms of its existence through any given Personality. Every Personality remains "alive" and existing for Essence along the way, easily revisited. It will not matter that for that Personality, it has experienced death of the body. Essence can simply "rewind" without losing its linear progression and revisit each and every Personality. There is a reason for this. Because every single Personality has choice, there will be many along the way that do not choose Essence. Many more than one would think. As part of the process of moving from one Soul Age to the next, it becomes a priority for Essence to scan back across the lifetimes lived as that Soul Age, and "collect" as many of those Personalities as possible. By the time one reaches the 7th Level of any Soul Age, the Personality that is at that 7th Level, even if 7th Level Infant, has expanded its consciousness enough to give room to Essence to move through the Plane of Time and Space to look for those Personalities that had rejected Essence. The 7th Level Personality lives as a kind of conduit, not only for its relationship with its own Essence, but also for all of the Personalities that came before it within that Soul Age. Because of this, not only is Essence linked to all of those previous Personalities and their copies of Instinctive Center, but that 7th Level Personality is, as well. The process of leaving a Soul Age, then, is like a telescoping reunion of sorts, bringing home any Personality that could not do so on its own. Until that happens, regardless of the experience of death for that body, that lifetime is literally being lived, over and over, looping, continuing in multitudes of variation. Because of that looping of the lifetime, the Instinctive Center that is unique to that Personality continues to be filled with data. Continues to transmit to Essence. That Personality evolves on its own. In its own time, at its own pace, and by the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence, enough so to bring them home. Each Soul Age will often continue to have a handful of Personalities "left behind" regardless of that process of reunion because they simply have not expanded in consciousness to the point of allowing Essence to collect them. So at the 7th Level of each Soul Age, it is not only a process of collecting those within that Soul Age, but also a process of collecting from any Soul Age already completed. The 7th Level Old Soul, then, is extremely busy in this regard, linked to every remaining Personality across time that has not yet come to be collected. This is part of why it is difficult for us to give you Past Life information without some qualification, and often only in terms of distinct qualities that defined that lifetime. Because if there is a past life with which you resonate, it is likely a part of you still incarnating, having looped multiple times so that the variations on that lifetime are profound. This becomes more likely the further back in time and space we must look, while more recent lifetimes are fairly clear. That is because, as older souls, there are fewer of these looping anchors in "your" past. When you "cycle" off the Physical Plane, your Essence is then every single Personality it has ever been. Every Personality has come home. Every Personality has evolved to a point of consciousness that allowed for its ride home. This is important to understand because each of you are vital to that process. You are not merely a stepping stone for Essence. You ARE Essence. This is why suicide is useless, as well. It ends nothing. And even if the appeal of "starting over" is high, the disc that is unique to you is loaded back up and you must learn from within that all over again. We have said to our students that each Soul Age LEVEL is the completion of 7 Internal Monads. That is true. And it will take as many lifetimes as necessary, since not every Personality will complete the set of 7 Internal Monads. But Essence does not progress beyond a LEVEL within a Soul Age until at least one Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads within that single lifetime. However, with this new understanding you may have about how Personalities remain locked in a loop of incarnations, building upon its unique Instinctive Center, we can now tell you that every single Personality ever created will, eventually, complete every Internal Monad. That is how each of them go home, reuniting with its source, Essence. We have much more to say on this subject, of course, and we have yet to address concurrents and parallels, but this is a start. We will open the floor now for a few questions, but must conclude fairly soon for Troy. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** Janet: if the 'spark of consciousness' never lights up before the death of a child, what happens to the child's copy of its Essence 'disc'? Is it still a personality to be collected? MEntity: Yes. That incarnation will "loop" again and again for the sake of eventually living a full life. Keep in mind that there are parallels where that child may not have died, and this helps allow for the looping to be avoided, if possible. We misread your question. If the child is under 3 years old, or that spark of consciousness does not ignite, there is almost always a parallel where the life is longer, and the spark ignites. However, when that is not the case, and there are no parallels generated to accommodate the life, that "disc" will be used as "the next life." This is often the case in crib deaths, for instance. Does this answer your question? Janet: Yes. Thank you. BillG: Question: what is the fate of the focus personality after death of the body since it is the essence, not the personality, which is reincarnating? MEntity: For those Personalities who complete Review and reunite with Essence, it is quite similar to how one reunites with one's Entity as an Essence. The Essence houses the Personality in a way that allows for that Personality to continue evolving, but on the Astral Plane. It basically gets to "do whatever it wants." It is how the concept of "heaven" came about. The Personality gets to play, explore, create, and generate fantastical worlds to share. In many cases, a Personality will come to be the contact point for another fragment still incarnating, and that is how your own Essence can act as a "guide" for others. That is also how guides can often still have "personality.” The mid-Astral Plane is where your Personalities "live" once they are done in the Physical Plane, and they become accessible to "you" as part of your own network of support, guidance, wisdom, etc. as you expand your consciousness. You are never alone, in that regard, and what is "Essence" is forever changed by each one that comes home. Does this answer your question? BillG: Yes., thank you. Just wondering if those personalities include future selves as well as past ones MEntity: It can be complicated to explain, but yes, there are "future selves" there, as well, especially for those Personalities that are looping in their incarnations. That is a topic in itself, but the concept is valid. There is more to say, and we can always elaborate upon all of the various things a Personality can do after Review. Paulyboy: Hi Michael – Bill's question answered my original, so – Could you expand please upon the various things a personality can do after review? Like, have other lifetimes, be born as a dragon in some fantasy world, fly a starship in some sort of “Star Trek” like universe, be born a different gender on an alternate 20th century Earth, etc.? Expand please I find this awesome and interesting Rather, in the mid Astral plane, after "coming home" Thank you Watch versions of your favorite movie where the ending didn't "suck" from a slightly different parallel? Etc.? Anyway, just prattling on here. MEntity: All of the above, and then some. Keep in mind that this will have been within the Astral Plane. It is as real as the Physical Plane, of course, but simply in a different way with different physics. In addition to all of the creative ways one can live in the Astral, the Personality can also visit any of the previous Personalities still incarnating, act as a guide, support, etc. This is often the case for most who are 6th Level. This is why those at the 6th Level feel a bizarre sense of feeling protected and safe, even if life crumbles around them. There is a knowing that is new, and that is partially because that Personality is connecting with the truth of its many selves beyond any challenges. Surprisingly, many Personalities find themselves eager to help, support, and learn in ways that are not escapist. There are phases of adaptation that we can delineate that each Personality goes through once residing in the Astral. We can explore this in further exchanges with you. ConnorB: What role does a Personality play, if any, in the planning of a subsequent lifetime? MEntity: Connor, they play a vital role, if there is reunion. If the Personality remains in a loop, then Essence will use the data gathered so as to evolve itself and create further lifetimes, but in the case where a Personality returns to Essence, or when a Personality is manifesting Essence, then there is high involvement in creating "the next" lifetime. That is, if they choose to be. ViP1: I hope this question doesn't come across the "wrong" way but I've had it queued up for some time. Some spiritual teachings hold that it is possible, while physically incarnated, to cut the experience of reincarnation short by bringing oneself (through meditation or possibly other practices) into a state of experiencing oneself as being the "creator", or I suppose what would be called Tao in your teaching, and training oneself to stay in that state, even as the physical body and what it experiences via the senses is still perceived. And that there would eventually come a point where that state would become self-perpetuating, with no further individual effort required. And that upon the death of the physical form, one will remain in the experience of oneness with Tao, with no further reincarnations or experiences on any of the planes. (Not including Grand Cycles.) Is such a thing actually possible, irrespective of whether it might be considered desirable or not? If not, then what would you say these teachings might actually be describing, if it would be something you could comment on? MEntity: First, the concept is absurd. There are no shortcuts. Second, the concept is generated to bring false comfort. It is the equivalent of spiritual suicide. Those who would subscribe to the concept will be in for a big surprise. Bobby: By the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence. Does the review only take place at the 7th level or does it happen for each personality just after death? MEntity: Review will happen after every death, but that Review determines if there is return to Essence, or continuation in the loop. It is not *quite* that simple, but it is the response we can get through for now. We must conclude here for tonight. We have exhausted our channel. Good evening or good day or good morning to each of you. July 6, 2015 Question asked during Ask Michael session JanaK: I have a followup question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” thrown out, which I would like more clarification on. I will state how I understood it, so please correct anything that I have misunderstood. So if I understand it correctly, what determines whether the Personality is stuck, is whether they do or don’t complete the Review and reunite with Essence. If they don’t complete it and don’t unite with Essence, then they keep literally reincarnating, living through variations on the same lifetime (presumably this happens in separate parallels). They keep doing this, until they evolve enough to be able to reunite with Essence, in which they sometimes need to be helped. You have also said, that in this way they all do get to eventually complete all 7 IMs. Yet, I also thought one can complete Review and reunite with Essence without completing all 7 IMs? Are all personalities stuck until they have lived in some way (parallel or looping) till 7th IM in positive? MEntity: Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc., will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. Those Personalities that fall into a loop are those that do not complete an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, or resign to the Negative Pole of an Internal Monad. That Personality will "loop" until it has completed the Internal Monad relative to what it had been trying to complete, and then it can move into Review. However, it is quite common that these Personalities will just continue to completion of all 7 Internal Monads, however many loops that would take. It Reviews, but mostly for the sake of updating Essence. The Personality is not quite capable of full comprehension until there is at least one Personality that has completed all 7 Internal Monads. Then the gathering of all Personalities from the Soul Age compile experiences for Review that launches the Essence into the next Soul Age. Because of the uniting of experiences and processes, then all Personalities that are a part of that benefit and, technically, each completes all 7 Internal Monads relative to their own lives. Those Personalities in a loop will have done so for themselves by this time, and will join the evolution into the next Soul Age, or will remain and continue in their loops, until either the completion of the 7th Internal Monad on their own, or help comes. Each of you will likely have several "loops" that will need to be collected from across your Soul Ages when you get to your 7th Level of the Old Soul Age. How Reincarnation Works -- Part II
  3. Michael Speaks Live “How Reincarnation Works, Part II” Parallels and Concurrents August 23, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley johnroth: There was material waiting from last time on how looping worked with concurrents and parallels. Could you expand on that. MEntity: Yes. "Looping" (we know there will come a better term for this at some point) works similarly for Concurrents and Parallels as they do for any version of a life. However, there are some distinct differences in how this process functions among the "core" lifetime, parallels, and concurrents. We will elaborate. First, all Concurrents would be considered a "core" lifetime. There is not a core lifetime from which another concurrent "branches.” Concurrents are their own tree, if you will. Internal Monads happen on both the level of Personality and of Essence. For the Personality, these are known as the 7 Internal Monads. For the Essence, these are known as the 7 Levels of a Soul Age. For Essence to evolve from one Level to the next, at least one Personality must have moved through all 7 Internal Monads and completed them in the Positive Pole. This is not some kind of rule in the sense of some imposed structure, but a natural means of progression being described in these terms. We review this so that the following can make sense: Concurrents contribute to the progression of Soul Age Levels of Essence, while Parallels contribute to the Internal Monads of the core lifetime from which the Parallels branched. For example: If one is at 3rd Level Old and has 4 Concurrents, each of these will "start from scratch," if you will, as core lifetimes with their own Personalities. In no particular order of actual birth, we will just describe these as lifetimes 1, 2, 3, and 4 for convenience, not sequence of birth. Lifetime 1 easily progresses to the 4th Internal Monad, but remains "stuck" in that Internal Monad for the rest of that life. Parallels that have been generated will have contributed to this progression across the parallels. Though each Parallel will have its own progression, each benefits to a great degree because consciousness expands, and it expands across those parallels. So if one parallel makes a breakthrough, this can cascade a version of a breakthrough to all other parallels (not all, but many). This is why every parallel "counts" and matters, and are not merely disposable adventures. So these Parallels contribute/d to move through to the 4th Internal Monad, and each parallel will continue to work through to complete that Internal Monad, but it is often the case that in the same way that consciousness expands across parallels, so does it plateau. So that Concurrent, and all of its parallels, will remain "stuck" in the 4th Internal Monad. If any one of those parallels makes a breakthrough, it will have effect, and when there are no Concurrents, this is part of the point of the parallels. Lifetime 3 will make it to the 6th, and lifetime 4 might make it through the successful completion of the 7th Internal Monad. Because parallels are branching from a core/trunk, there is much more of an immediate circuitry that allows for the cascading effect of a breakthrough, but Concurrents are only linked via Essence so expansion still happens, but is fed to Essence, rather than across the Concurrents. Concurrents, despite sharing the same timeline and space, are still separate lifetimes, but Parallels are of a single Personality. In other words, Concurrents are separate Personalities existing in the same time and space, while Parallels are separate timelines and space existing within the same Personality. We use the term "within" here, loosely. In terms of "looping," then, when the core/trunk Personality concludes, it will loop and generate new parallels, but all parallels associated with that core are "collapsed" before that looping begins. The Personality builds on all of those parallels for the new loop. However, there comes a point when a branch or parallel becomes so removed from the core that it is not collapsed, but continues on its own trajectory. And this is how Concurrents are "born." What we have shared, so far, is fairly local to what you might think of as "you" and your Essence and its timeline and progress of evolution. On a collective scale, these same effects are in play for the species and its evolution as a whole. A Concurrent for an individual is seeded by Essence from what was gained from parallels that did not/could not collapse into the core Personality. That difference is not discarded, but becomes useful for planting a Concurrent alongside other Concurrents back into the "same" timeline and space. This is a way to help keep the chaos of creativity in some order. However, on the scale of the species, a Concurrent of the entire species cannot be generated within the same space and time based on cumulative variations in collective parallels. So when enough fragments are interested in a shared parallel that has been generated to the point that collapse does not happen, then rather than merely the masses generating a multitude of individual Concurrents, an entirely separate and "permanent" branch is generated by the species. It is a mix of parallel and concurrent. In nearly all cases where this has happened, it is a result of a mass collection of Concurrents generating this branching for the whole species. Because Concurrents are already seeded from their inherent and drastic differences from the parallels generated before them, each will have its own kind of inclination to move with others with similar seeds to generate a collective branching off. For example, one of the more modern examples would be in the 1980's CE. Several versions of World War 2 had come to be generated for individuals/parallels by the 1930s and 40s to the point where collapse was not possible. Concurrents were born then for many who were born in the 40s through 60s. Many of those Concurrents were born of parallels where the war was diverted. No holocaust occurred for those Concurrents even though they were now born into the shared timeline where World War 2 had happened. In the 1980's there was a chance for another World War. Those Concurrents who had "missed out" on the previous war branched parallels from themselves into core focus where there came to be complete nuclear war. For simplicity's sake, if we can even use that term at this point, these are most often referred to us as "parallels" for the species/sentience as a whole. We prefer to call them parallels because while these are generated from Concurrents, Concurrents do not converge and diverge with one another the way parallels do, and these massive, collective variations of the species CAN (though not often) converge again. For example, though there is a World War using nuclear weapons in the 80s and a World War with a holocaust in the 40s, both are wars, and both will have recovery, and there may come a time when there is no need to sustain different variations on the species. These could merge again one day because there are core similarities with which to build that magnetizing that would lead to convergence. Next week is one of these "major" convergences of the species. Geraldine: You've said to Martha that some of her incarnations have concurrents that were generated from “the future.” Is this part of that looping? MEntity: To return to Geraldine's question: "Looping" generated from "the future" happens when a Personality falls into a kind of plateau and remains in a kind of limbo. These are the parts of the self that we refer to as, eventually, requiring being collected. To collect those, the awareness of Essence as it has evolved relative to where that Personality is "stuck," then prompts the looping from that future point. Does this make sense? So it is looping "from the future" to that Personality moving back out of limbo and back into its progression. GeraldineB: yes Martha: Can we go back to the major species merge that's about to happen? ? MEntity: The Convergence next week is of a branch of the species/sentience that branched in the mid to late 1700's CE in which the United States was not founded. This convergence will likely move the United States out of its seat of power fairly (relatively) quickly over the next 20 to 50 years, or escalate it to a heightened position beyond all comprehension. Neither of these scenarios are "good" or "bad," but has a spectrum of possibility built in across the board. Martha: Not as a new country distinct from England, or not settled at all from Europe? MEntity: Martha, these are of the parallels where the settling and establishments failed, at least in terms of what you know as its success since then. Anarchy ruled most of the country for a great deal of time until policing forces came into power over all citizens. An uprising "recently" overturned all these forces and a Constitution was implemented similar to the one you know for the United States. Martha: so are they collapsing now into...us? MEntity: At the point where the United States is "born" is next week. DianeHB: wow Martha: that made me feel a lil swell of tears MikeClev: that doesn't sound compatible enough to merge smoothly, how are differences reconciled? MEntity: To explain how these Convergences work will take its own session, but the forces opposing the United States "here" and the forces building the United States "there" have created a magnetic Yin/Yang that is nearly impossible to merge. Mike, you are correct and this is why we see the next 20 to 50 years as being a bit precarious, not necessarily in obvious ways, but in trajectory. Martha: Can we please somehow lose Ted Cruz in this? MEntity: We must conclude here for today. We can continue this exploration over time. You will not lose us to any parallel or timeline. We are here, now. Goodnight to each of you. Goodbye.

    Musicianship and reincarnation

Hello Michael, I just watched a documentary about the artist named Amy Winehouse, who died in 2011. Although I was not too much into her music at the time she was alive, as a musician myself I'm always interested in all kinds of music and musicians. So I found out that she was a real prodigy. Her singing style and musicianship were very mature for someone that age. Also, I'm seeing lots of musicians like her nowadays. An example would be 11 year-old jazz pianist Joey Alexander. I can understand a child playing a classical tune which all you need is (lots of) ability, but that's more mechanical, after all you're reproducing something. But jazz is a completely different thing, most people dedicate their entire life to develop their style and technique, and these two examples are from already developed musicians at a very young age. So my question is: was Amy Winehouse a reincarnation of some great jazz singer? I can see the connection not just because of her high developed musicianship and music taste (she said she was always more interested in great musicians from the past and didn't see anything valuable in today's radio music), but also because of her troubled life and drug relation (reminded me of a few great jazz singers from the past). As a musician myself, I'm very interested if I'm gonna forget everything I'm learning in this life on my next lives! Another question is: during my life I was always involved in musical projects that were just a little tiny step of "getting to the next level", as they say. But on uncountable times a little small detail made everything go to the dumpster. Is there a karmic issue preventing me from achieving my artistic goals? Thank you and sorry about my English, I'm not an English native speaker...

    Ask Michael: March 2016

Ask Michael - March 6, 2016 Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. QUEUE IS NOW OPEN JanaK: Here is my boyfriend James's question: Jana brought up a concept of psychological conditions manifesting as physical ones if persistent, and mentioned an example of her male colleague who had a very bitter relationship with women as a whole and eventually developed a testicular cancer. I queried why this doesn't appear to affect others in a consistent way, for example why would someone like Jimmy Saville, who abused and raped vulnerable people and the dead for decades, not develop a physical problem in a similar way. Furthermore, why would seemingly ordinary well-minded people get a cancer? Can you comment? MEntity: First, it is important to consider that illnesses are not punishments. They are not developed as a means of justice. They manifest from among variables that include genetics, environment, the emotional and intellectual bodies. For some individuals there is a factor of guilt that can generate symptoms and ailments that are the symbolic reflection of the stories behind that guilt. For others who may have the same experience, make the same choices, and cause more harm, the absence of guilt means there will be no effects on the body from guilt. The Physical Plane is always a gamble in terms of health. It will always be important to care for the body in ways that are appropriate, but this may not always protect one from the effects of genetics or environment. One way of understanding this is to consider caring for your home. It would make no sense for you to trash your home and set fires within it or neglect it JUST because there may one day be a hurricane. You cannot control the hurricane, but you can control how well you care for your home, even if it ends up in the path of a hurricane. In terms of illnesses reflecting processes, there is always some sort of insight that be gained, but it is not always so wildly philosophical. For example, if three people were to walk out into traffic and be hit by a car, one may have done so because he has a pattern of neglect that was reflected in his recklessness, while another person may have a death wish, and still the other person simply forgot to look up this one time. Our point being that there is broad symbolism associated with illnesses, but we caution against such exact correlations. As for cancer: even good people eat poorly. Even good people live in toxic environments. Even good people carry stress. It is never useful to associate illnesses with punishment or deserving. And it would be helpful to consider that some illnesses that manifest are not always physical. There are some very healthy active individuals who are are barely held together on emotional or intellectual levels. Though there are broad correlations and symbolism between illnesses and cumulative causation, it is far too nuanced to count on an equation of "IF X THEN Y." JanaK: thank you Maureen: There is a lot of chatter going on that Trump is lot like Hitler. A friend of my husband said Trump is more like Mussolini or Peron than Hitler as Trump is more of a populist as he doesn't have a military agenda like an outright Fascist would have. I think Trump is like Hitler more out of opportunity than nature. I can see that Hitler really believed what he was espousing while Trump is an opportunist who doesn't believe in anything but himself. Trump will go to any lengths to gain Trump "brand appeal" in any way he can. It always looked to me as if Hitler, in his heart, thought he was doing what was right for "Aryan" Germany, at the time. What really stands out to many is how alike the followers / supporters of both Trump and Hitler are. Would you comment on this time in history, in regards to Trump and Hitler and their Overleaves if relevant, and what is going on right now for their followers / supporters to be so similar even as we are in different times? MEntity: In technical terms, these fragments are very different in features, but not in function or potential outcome. It is not amiss to compare these fragments in terms of potential for parallel outcomes, even if each are designed differently. Comparing these individuals and the effects/potential effects is similar to comparing the results of driving a car into a crowd or driving a truck into a crowd. Yes, you can point out how different each vehicle is and how one may have harmed more than the other, but it is fair to say that it is rather moot to compare them for differences when the intent, force, and effects are so similar. The greatest difference at this point is the position of power. If the position of power shifts for the King, so would similarities grow ever more similar to that of the Priest's. A military agenda is not within reach at this time for the King, but when it is within reach, more similarities would emerge. In both cases there is a mass Monad at play here involving Serving A Corrupt Master. It is true that much of what the King promotes is merely for the attention and power. We have put his ideology at about 50% in terms of how much he, himself, believes what he says. He is marketing. However, this is not to say that this line is clear to him. If enough power and attention were to be produced by the marketing, then the effort to fulfill the ideology and build upon it would shift that percentage. In both cases "the heart" is not involved. It is essentially removed from the equation and process. Both are Moving Centered, Intellectual Part. The Emotional element only comes into play as a balance, which most often shows up as "thin skin," easily offended, double-standards, pouting, and tantrums. This is then used to fuel further the locked cycles of Intellect and Action without heart. Erin: Hi Michael, I have a few questions for you, being new. But I am going to go with the least heavy topic since we've covered some heavy topics today. In the transcripts, I have read you mention that felines are most attuned spiritually can you further elaborate on what it is about cats that gives them this natural gift? MEntity: We might not describe this species as "most attuned spiritually," but we do speak of this species as having the capacity for more reception than most species. By "reception" we mean that felines are prone to "trance." They expand and contract in consciousness on a regular basis. Some felines are more inclined toward a "resting point" that is more expanded and receptive while others may be hyper-alert and focused with little room for reception. Most expand and contract in consciousness throughout the day, and this leaves them open to receiving "signals" from various sources beyond themselves. Some tune into reception from only known companions and caretakers. Some are open to access from consciousness well beyond this planet. Some are open to the deceased and act as portals for loved ones who have exited a life. This receptivity is due to their biology. Because they are predators, there are long cycles of rest that are necessary for the surges that come from the hunt. We say "rest" because the feline is rarely fully asleep, but always aware to sensory input to some degree. These long cycles of half-sleep have evolved to be quite receptive to various frequencies of consciousness then. We clarify here that they are receptive. This means the feline is not actively seeking the use of this state as a "gift," but its use comes as a byproduct of its simply existing. In addition to the above, felines cycles of rest and receptivity are quite affected by weather patterns and emotional "weather" patterns of caretakers. We can elaborate further on this topic, but we think this addresses your question. Becca: Hi Michael, thank you for taking the time to talk with us. I'm new to these teachings and have a lot of questions! I recently read a book about reincarnation and children who could remember their past lives and I'm curious about how a person might distinguish dreams, anxieties and identity disturbances in current life from memories of past incarnations. This seems to be an anomaly. Is this somehow linked to the age of their soul or to connections with ‘spirit guides’? MEntity: In children up to the age of 7, it is accurate to assume there are memories involved. In children between the ages of 7 to 14, it is safe to assume there may be memories involved that are embellished or distorted in ways that are sourced from the current life. In anyone over the age of 14, all "memories" would do well to be treated as sources from the current life. The longer one is incarnated, the more likely the "memories" are directly relevant to the current life. This is not to say that the memories are not valid memories of past lives, but they are remembered because of the current life, not because of the past life. If you treat your memories and associations with a past life in terms of how it is relevant to the current life, and not a distraction from the current life, then you gain the benefit and point of the memory. It is not necessary to sort out whether one dream is a memory and another is a symbolic digesting of the day's events. We can say that it is safe to say that if you suspect it is a memory, it is more than likely a memory, but if that memory is used as a distraction or becomes a distraction from the current life, then the healing may delayed or lost. For example: if you have dreams or memories of being a nurse during the Civil War of the United States, it can be treated as simply a snapshot from the family photo album of your soul, or you can look to your current life to see where there is relevant resonance. Are you overwhelmed by the obligations of caretaking and helping others? Are you feeling prompted to move in directions of nurturing and healing others? Are you in a position where you feel you are navigating sick and wounded people in your life? This was a random example and intended as that. The difference between the older individual and the younger children is the input of life experience that triggers past life resonance. Where there is very little life experience to trigger resonance across lives, it tends to mean there is a carry over from another life that is of some importance to continue tending in the current life. In older individuals with more life experience, the resonance is more about insight than it is about continuation. There is more we can say, but we think this is a helpful start. Becca: Definitely, very interesting, thank you :) MEntity: We will take a final question. Juni: A few months ago there was a conversation on one of the Energy reports about how a number of people were having dreams about people in their past whom they'd not seen for a while. It was suggested that this related to cord sorting. For instances where it was, what prompts Essence to engage in it and how is it beneficial, and can you comment on this within the larger context of this year with its theme of endings/beginnings, time allowing? MEntity: Cording evolved long before language, and its effectiveness and practicality transcend limitations of language, time, and space. Cording is still useful for remaining close to those who are far away, or those who have died or those with whom you build a life. The useful and energizing Cords are connected between the "fronts" of the bodies. But as populations have grown and more people share space and time, Cording is sometimes generated as attachments that are not mutual or beneficial and these become draining, exhausting, and even painful. Long after bonding is mutual, Cords can remain. Long after passing glances on a street, Cords can remain. Long after an argument, Cords can remain. Long after exposure to a crowd, Cords remain. These are the Cords that one would sort and release. The Cords that are intended or welcome are energizing, inspiring, and comforting. The Cords that are not intended, outdated, or remain without mutual consent are draining, exhausting, and distracting. The differences between these are in the mutual exchange and circuit of energy shared vs that of simply taking energy and "feeding" off you. For many who have been enduring or tolerating or being lenient with Cords attached that are not mutually beneficial, there has come a realization that it is time to let these go, to cut these loose, and to nurture healthy boundaries. There is a shift in necessity for great clarity about where one stands and how one is receiving/giving energy. We must conclude here for this evening. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now.

    20140706 Ask Michael

Ask Michael in Live Session Open Floor July 6, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley [Hani] There are claims made of multiple Essences utilizing the same body by switching in and out over the lifetime. Is this possible? I am not talking about walk in and walk out [MEntity] Only one Essence can ever "inhabit" a body. The body cannot act as a revolving door for Essences. Though one body can have been host to 2 or more Essences across a lifetime, it is never at once, and rarely more than 2. The shift between one Essence to another is often traumatic, or at least done through the exploitation of a trauma, and takes up to 7 years for full transition. It is not a process that is taken lightly. [Hani] I understand, thank you [MEntity] However, the Personality and/or Essence of a body can act as a conduit for as many Essences as it wishes. This is how the Transcendental Soul Manifests. It is only one Essence representing the whole of the Entity, but all of the fragments of that Entity have access to all that is that body's experiences and life. This is, also, how Guides work, and Essence Twins when one is not extant. When there is a Personality who senses fragmentation, it is usually relative to the Personality, not variations of Essences. That Personality is likely compartmentalized, divided, fractured, and has evolved into facets that either lose contact with one another, or revolve as distinct facets around a central core trait. Every Personality has sub-personalities, but for some, these can become distinct facets that have no communication with one another, such as is the case with Dissociative Identity Disorder, but if there is communication, the range can be from "normal" variations on Personality to accommodate various contexts of life, to extreme facets that, while still communicating, identify as separate. [Kurtis] Hi Michael, much like in past exchanges I'd like an elaboration of both Perseverance Mode and Power Mode that can cater to all soul ages, and much like before, an explanation of the - and +Poles as well. [MEntity] PERSEVERANCE MODE is the Ordinal, Action Mode. The Mode describes how one fulfills the Goal, and how one Relates. In its Positive Pole, there is Persistence, and in its Negative Pole, there is Unchanging. PERSISTENCE is the capacity to navigate around, over, and through obstacles, whereas UNCHANGING is the capacity to repeatedly confront obstacles. In Persistence, there is a sense of one's position relative to an obstacle or direction, and these are known to be dynamic. There is awareness that both the obstacle/direction and the one acting can change, evolve, alter, etc. In Unchanging, this dynamic is lost. It is no longer a dance, but a matter of pushing forward or into, and knocking down or clearing a path that has been determined. There is only a sense of direction or movement if that obstacle is overcome. Consider the difference between one amputee who has lost her legs and finds a way to work with her obstacles, while another determines that if those legs are gone, then everything on the other side of that is lost, unless those legs are returned. One is Persistence. One is Unchanging. When one is Unchanging, it is the Positive Pole of the partner Mode, Aggression, that will help to move one back into Persistence. The Positive Pole of Aggression is Dynamism. In other words, there is no division between self and obstacle/direction. They are parts of an equation that describe the paths of life. Both contribute to the path. Unchanging is when one has determined that the obstacle is in the way of the path. Power is Presence, then. When one owns one's presence, or power, there is Authority. This is simply the management of expression in a way that is responsible, considered, and aware of its impact on others. When one depends on others as their source of presence, or power, then it falls into Oppression. This is true on the scale of oppression that one sees regarding minorities or non-sentient creatures, as well as in terms of the self. To Oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission one seeks or takes from others. Put another way: To oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission for expression one seeks or takes from others. Or, to oppress others is to draw power and presence from restricting expression of others. For one to move out of the Negative Pole of Power, one needs to slide to the Positive Pole of Caution, Deliberation. When this is regarding self-oppression, it is when one chooses a specific way or context of expressing oneself, rather than not expressing oneself at all. When this is regarding oppression of others, it is the ownership of how one has interpreted the expression or presences of others as deliberately affecting oneself, when, in fact, it has not. Deliberation is merely the slowing down of thought so as to be careful in how one experiences or delivers expression. Though we can continue to elaborate upon these, we must consider the queue. [Maureen] Michael, I can see how Personal Truths line up: HONESTY: Truth, SINCERITY: Love, INTEGRITY: Energy, but I’d like your take on how Global Truths and Universal Truths line up with Truth, Love and Energy. The one that I’m having the most trouble reconciling is the Global Truth of NATIONAL that lines up with Love. I’m not sure how that fits as many of us Older Souls don’t see “Love” of a country or being nationalistic as fitting in with our larger view of “the world”. If there is time, would you provide a short explanation for the Global Truths and the Universal Truths so we can see how they align with Truth, Love and Energy? If not, just an explanation of the Global Truth, NATIONAL: Love, would be appreciated. [MEntity] Nationalism/Nationalistic is not the same thing as Love for one's country. The former tends to be built upon notions of superiority, whereas the latter is built upon gratitude, nostalgia, and appreciation. When one tends to one's home, it can be from notions of superiority to one's neighbors, or it can be from the sense of importance to nurture one's space. This is true on the National scale, as well. The people of a Nation are benefited when there is Love of those peoples. This can be a dividing line in Politics, for example. Self-preservation based in superiority, or nurturing on a grand scale for as many as possible. However, keep in mind that our response for corresponding Truth, Love, and Energy to the variations of truth within each category of truth, is only for convenience, not from literal representation. It may be more accurate to see these as Axes, not as specific terms. So, for example, Honesty is Expressive, Personal Truth. Sincerity is Inspirational, Personal Truth. Integrity is Active, Personal Truth. Remember that Truths are relative here. Community is Expressive Global Truths, or how a Community expresses, represents itself within the spectrum of how other communities do so. National is Inspirational Global Truth, or how a people of a nation feel about their place on the planet among other nations. Planetary is Active Global Truths, or how a planet of people behaves in relation to other planets/off-planet life. In Universal Terms, every single fragment will have a Body, Mind, and Soul, and these are conduits for expression, inspiration, and action, and this is true no matter where, when, or who you would experience. We think we have expanded on these enough for now, but we can further clarify these in further discussions. [JanaK] I have a follow up question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” throw out, which I would like more clarification on. [MEntity] Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc. will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. [Bobby] Since it's my understanding that after an Entity cycles off that Casting plays a larger part than the Role does, would you briefly describe generally what those of you that are Sage-cast "do"? [MEntity] It is more nuanced than only Casting, with your Casting within the Entity being a contributing factor. In the same way that all Sages will not manifest the same way while incarnating, neither will all Sage-Cast in the Entity. But there will be a common theme of Cardinal Expression. So, regardless of the nuances, those who are Sage-Cast will be those who spread information, communicate, bring levity, offer simple and profound insight. One of the nuances to consider is that the Role then tends to become the function that Casting had while incarnating. So a Sage-Cast Warrior while incarnating might be understood as a Warrior-Cast Sage when cycled off in the Entity. The other nuance would be the Cadence Group and Greater Cadence, of course, as well as Position. But, in general, the Sage-Cast will help tell the stories of the Entity. [ClaireC] Michael, could you tell us where horses are in the hierarchy of the animal kingdom and how their Animal-Companion bond with humans is affected by the fact that they are often "working" animals? Is it any different than trained, performing dogs or circus animals? [MEntity] Though there is hierarchy of intelligence among most domestic or domesticated animals, there is very little difference emotionally. There are differences, but little. The range of intelligence only determines how that species can communicate its emotions, and how it organizes its experiences. This goes for chickens, cows, pigs, horses, birds, dogs, cats, etc. We are going to define "domesticated" as any of those species in captivity with which one can develop a relationship. There are many "pets" that fall outside of that, such as many reptiles or insects, and then there are some that fall outside of the category of "pets" that have evolved relationships with Humans, such as Bees. What the individuals or groups within that domesticated species do only has bearing insofar as how it contributes to their experience of Emotional evolution. Those creatures that are nurtured as a whole tend to evolve faster in their emotional intelligence than those that are not. For example, dogs, cats, and horses have keen emotional worlds that range across a wide spectrum of emotions, while chickens tend to suffer from extreme terror and displacement due to the mass suffering. All non-sentient creatures tend to default to Instinctive methods for managing suffering and pain, and this is for the sake of protection against being seen as weak, vulnerable, etc. to other predators. Even the most intelligent of dogs, horses, cats, pigs, etc. will often refrain from reveal of pain or suffering for that reason. Therefore, working horses who are treated well may feel a great sense of purpose and bonding, while other working horses relegated to strict uses, such as carriage horses or race horses, suffer greatly, even if not in obvious ways. Care and feeding are not all that are necessary for the quality of life for the more emotionally-complex creatures. The more social the species, the more likely the suffering is reduced to strict work and use. Watching horses running freely in a field together versus watching a horse chained to a cart alongside Central Park is all that is necessary to know this, if one is practicing empathy. [ClaireC] "Beast of burden" comes to mind. [MEntity] We wish to be clear that the differentiation between suffering and pain is a matter of time. More emotionally-complex and intelligent creatures can suffer more easily than those that are not. However, the more a creature is exposed to pain, the more it can suffer, even as there is no sense of time. So while a horse or a dog can suffer even when between painful experiences, a chicken that is trapped in terror with injuries and a mutated body is in a constant state of pain, which is its own form of suffering. Animals used for performance, entertainment, circuses, and work often do suffer because most of these scenarios override everything natural to that creature. In cases where work is balanced with care, feeding, shelter, socializing, freedom, expression, and affection can there be the possibility of a "happy" creature. This is true of even Humans. [AnnaYusim] I have a question about St Therese of Lisieux (Born Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin) her book "story of a soul" is a spiritual classic. I have read that its not 100 percent her authentic words is that true?? Also i'd like to know her role, casting and soul age? [MEntity] As this fragment was "sainted," all accounts have come to be embellished for the support of that sainthood. It is true that not all of the words attributed to her are her own. This is not to say they are not in keeping with "the spirit" of her expression, just that embellishments are involved. This fragment is a Priest-Cast Artisan who was 7th Level Young at the time. [royce] marius here: Adyashanti speaks openly about his awakening experiences and i'm curious to know the relationship to this experience of " awakening" and Internal monads. for example if one has awakened in the terms adyashanti describes does one still go through internal monads. [MEntity] If the term is being used as a conclusive state, then it is a misnomer. This "awakening" could be said to be a description of how one completes an Internal Monad, as it is a conscious process of unlearning all that was learned, at least in terms of what was learned that is not serving you. That is what each Internal Monad is: an unlearning. To that extent, each Internal Monad is a process of "awakening," but each awakening is far from conclusive. There is no shortcut through the Internal Monads. Even the oldest and most conscious of fragments must go through them. To teach otherwise is to teach that one does not count as a PART of the whole that is ultimately YOU. [royce] i ask because i hear a lot of " i have no more fear of death" with these experiences at age 29 or something, which sounds like a completely of 6th IM...which seems odd to be there at 30..but that's beautiful to know we always have something to learn completion* [MEntity] Lacking fear of death when one is not confronting it has nothing to do with the completion of the 6th Internal Monad. It is easy not to fear something one cannot comprehend. But when one suddenly feels and knows the impending closure of mortality, it is a very different rite of passage. Even if one has had a close call with death in the middle of the life, it is not the same thing as the closing in on the final call. That close call with death can contribute to the ease of the 6th Internal Monad, but it is not the same as the 6th Internal Monad. The 6th Internal Monad is only valid when the onset of the cause of the exit is finalized. However, even that is not always the case. If one has not completed the 4th Internal Monad, for instance, and has a terminal illness, it will still be necessary to complete the 4th Internal Monad, no matter how distracting the onset of death is.
