  1. MMW - November 17, 2018 - Your 2018 MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. We are asked for assistance in assessing or reviewing your time frame of 2018 so as to extract that which might be meaningful enough to you to carry into 2019. In doing so, this may help "make the best" of 2019. Reviews are always beneficial, even if very little is extracted, and even if what is extracted is not terribly pleasant or exciting. There are many ways one can approach a review and most of those will be used in various ways in various reviews, but today we are going to focus on the TRIAD REVIEW. We suggest that each of you be prepared for responses to questions we will pose. We suggest documenting these separately for later consideration, but we invite you to share here, as well, if you choose to do so. What we suggest as a technique for a Triad Review is to start with a Triad set that is the most intimate and personal and then we will work our way with you through other Triad sets that broaden in assessment and consideration. The most intimate and personal tier for review using a Triad Set is to use the POSITIVE/NEGATIVE/ASSIMILATIVE set. This Triad asks of you to consider these questions: Positive = WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE BEST OF 2018? Negative = WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE WORST OF 2018? Assimilative = WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU LEARNED IN 2018? There are going to be many BESTS and probably more WORSTS, depending on your perception, but truly own these in your review. Feel and recall the best. Wince and cringe at the worst. For those who wish to participate and share here, we will pose the first question and you can respond below it. WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE BEST OF 2018? Susan: A reconnection with a very special friend Janet: Being a new grandmother Bogi: Opening myself up to new possibilities in intimate relationships. Uma: Having my own space again DianeC: Bonding in my family Bobby: Being willing to try different opportunities whether or not much came of them or not ClaireC: Similar to Bogi, learning more about myself through new relationships. Maureen: Sharing time with a nephew and helping to "save his life' with my sister. MEntity: As your mind begins to focus on the best of 2018, you may find that it is a struggle at first, but as you settle into the idea of one best experience, you may begin to see it triggers a chain of connections or resonance to other best experiences. Before the end of the year, we suggest posing this question again and letting yourself follow those threads and let them weave a blanket of goodness to carry with you into 2019. It is not a futile or pointless exercise. It is a practice in neural therapy, if you will. Your neural pathways strengthen and grow based on your repetitive thinking and in a year like 2018, your neural pathways have strengthened to sort reality primarily in how bad it is. The next question may be difficult, not because you cannot come up with a WORST, but because you can come up with many or difficult concepts that are so big they are difficult to put into words. WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE WORST OF 2018? Susan: loss of a parent and the impending loss of a friend Bobby: Seemingly hopeless familial relationships Uma: fuckface is still president and corruption is more rampant than ever Janet: on a purely personal level: a health issue that is finally forcing me to accept prescription meds ClaireC: It feels like a year where not many of my expectations have been met. DianeC: Serious health concerns for me and for my youngest son and also feeling distance from some family members Bogi: Confusing myself with other people´s supposed motivations. Maureen: The stress of staying on track (focused) with all the awareness and patience I could muster. ClaireC: I should change that to desires rather than expectations. MEntity: In this assessment, let this be the worst of 2018. No need to follow threads or connections. Shift away from the neural pathways that have you seeing the worst in many ways in many places. Let this be the worst. Hold this worst of 2018. Cup it in your hands in some symbolic form. Think about this worst of 2018 in the most loving way you can. You have nothing to lose here. Wash this worst thing in your love, your light, and your kindness and patience and understanding. This does not mean you love that thing or give permission to that thing or like that it happened. You are merely bombarding it with love and symbolic light in a way that helps to repair the inner damage caused to you by the experience. Love the people affected. Love the people who need more strength. Love the person who died and not the dying. Add imaginary light to a very real dark pattern in the world, not because it will magically alter reality, but because you need that kind of relationship to the darkness you experience. You need to remember and find and connect with whatever light there is when you can only see darkness. These may seem to be rather poetic and "new agey" terms for us to use, but we trust our students to know that these are symbolic methods for helping to shift a perspective and dynamic. Love that your body is hanging in there, doing its best, and that there are resources that can help when your body needs it. Love the worst of 2018 with as much love as you can for any reason you can. Because that is what you want to take with you into 2019. Let the worst of 2018 prompt for just a moment the greatest love from you and this is what you can take into 2019. You can get back to being frustrated and angry and hurt and struggling soon enough. For just a moment, hold the most ridiculous amount of love for your worst of 2018 and let it be okay that you can love that much. NEXT, ask yourself: WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I LEARNED IN 2018? You will have learned a great deal, but what stands out at the moment or stands out as a theme? "Good" or "bad." Janet: I am strong enough to face whatever comes. Susan: I am still a conduit for healing and a necessary asset Maureen: I learned there is so much love and support, everywhere, it's mind blowing. Bobby: That my source of support is very broadly based and not limited to a special few Bogi: I learned that clear communication is vital. Uma: Recognizing the spectrum between Patience/Restraint and Withdrawal due to fear DianeC: That you need to be where you need to be ClaireC: I've learned that I have to be true to myself. MEntity: What comes to mind that describes what you learned in 2018 gives you an idea for what you wanted to learn. Not every experience is shaped by what you seek to learn and what you learn is not always based on what you wanted to experience, but when you look at a block of time in review and determine what you learned, it does reveal to you what you WANTED to learn. This is because you would have learned something different from the same experience if you wanted to learn something else. This is why each of you are describing different things that you learned in 2018. When you can look back on 2018 and see what you learned and own this as something you wanted to learn, it can help you to soften the edges of your experiences that were more difficult. Maureen: I like that! MEntity: This is what you want to carry with you into 2018. Not the jagged edges of experiences that challenged or hurt you, but that core strength within you that found a way to make the best of difficult experiences. Uma: Seems like 'owning' it is the key MEntity: Again, we do not suggest that you created experiences to suit what you wanted to learn, but we do suggest that you wanted to learn and this is what you learned. This is your first and most intimate Triad set for reviewing your year so that you can take the best and the worst and what you learned and launch into a new block of time with some peace, healing, and enthusiasm. Because you will do this again. And you have done this for many years. You will always have the best and worst of a year, and you will always learn. For the sake of time, we will describe these next Triad sets and then you can assess these on your own to share in your discussion thread for this topic. The next Triad set would be in terms of LOVE, BEAUTY, and TRUTH. These can be fairly self-explanatory and may build upon the first Triad. LOVE = WHAT/WHO EXPANDED MY CAPACITY TO LOVE IN 2018? BEAUTY = WHAT/WHO POINTED TO MORE BEAUTY IN 2018? TRUTH = WHAT TRUTHS DID I DISCOVER IN 2018? (this is bit different from "what did I learn?" in that this question asks what you discovered as already true that you did not know was true about you, someone else, the world, people, etc? It may be the same answer, but it may not be.) The next Triad set would go into even broader assessment and address your GOAL, MODE, and ATTITUDE. GOAL = What did you do to further accomplish your Goal in 2018? MODE = How did you find yourself relating to people in 2018 in terms of your Mode? ATTITUDE = Do you think you interpreted 2018 from the positive or negative pole of your Attitude? The final Triad set we can suggest using for reviewing your year is the Triad of BONDS, BOUNDARIES, and BREAKTHROUGHS. What bonds did you nurture in 2018? What Boundaries did you establish in 2018? And what Breakthroughs did you make? These sets of Triads can cover the various levels of you and your year and your inner and outer worlds. The answers you have already shared in response to the first tier are plenty for consideration and can do most of the work of helping you to start your 2019 with the most beneficial approach. The other tiers can help explore broader themes and experiences to add to your depth of value to gain from a year. You can also take your responses from your first set of questions and see how they contribute to the other Triad sets. For example, did the Best contribute to your Goal? Did the Worst contribute to your Boundaries? Did what you learn contribute to Beauty? DianeC: Amazing! MEntity: However much you gain from your assessment and review of 2018 as a way to better enter 2019, it is most important to know that of everything you take into 2019, you are the best of the year before. This is not said as a way to flatter you or provide false notions. It is simply true. You are the meeting ground of everything good and bad, best and worst, loving and fearful, etc. You are a universe of everything and you will continue being that meeting ground, sorting and learning and growing. And what comes out of all of this will always be the best. Will always be you. We must conclude here for today. Good day to each of you. Good year to each of you. Good life to each of you. Good Work from all of you. Goodbye.
  2. August 3, 2003 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS (Online) – Energy Report with Q&A [MichaelEntity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with the Energy Report as requested: It appears the more intense energy of June and July is waning as a lull is settling in. This comes after a great deal of physical and mental activity during June and July. As many of you already know the months of June and July brought with them a great deal of Clarity and Implementation. Most of our students dealt with some form of serious change during those months with some form of revelation being implemented. As we had mentioned in our previous report, it is not unusual to implement a serious change, but the difference was in the fact that so many of you participated in such an investment. After June’s and July’s activities and shifts, August should bring about some relief, some “down time”, a short break. For most of our students (especially those in the United States) calmness is moving through the collective consciousness, and while this is an opportunity to simply relax, most will find this calm to be unsettling and distrustful. Because this year is rooted in the energies of the Moving Center, it may be difficult for you to simply relax and peacefully go about the routines of your life right now. A momentum is in place and calmness may be difficult to settle into, even if only briefly. Even for those who are quite sedentary, you may be associated with another fragment who will keep you restless along with him or her. Our suggestion for the next 3 weeks or so is to take advantage of the calm, to make a decision that for at least one of the weeks, you will trust your life; you will simply do the routines of your day, and know that you are safe. For those who have made a major change in July or June, then August can be seen as a Maintenance month, continuing the implementation of your changes, getting comfortable after some of your personal shifts. In light of the opportunity to choose Calmness over the next three weeks or so, we will not complicate matters by elaborating the Energy Report too much. We already know that many of you will choose to follow your restlessness and that is as valid a choice as choosing to rest. We will help in your ability to consciously make your choice by stating that if you find you are choosing restlessness, or if you seem to not be able to relax even when you try, that you can help generate peace for even a few hours at a time by simply reminding yourself that YOU ARE SAFE. In most cases restlessness is due to some form of control issues, and if you let your guard down for “one second” things will “fall apart”. Many times those who are restless don’t even know what it is they worry about, but in many situations that worry is simply rooted in feeling unsafe. Those who “worry” to the point of being unable to relax are the same children who were usually punished in some way for behaviors deemed unacceptable. “Worry” and restlessness are only for superficial appearances then. As long as you are worried, or as long as you are restless, then even if you are judged, rejected, or reprimanded (internally or from external sources), at least your worry and restlessness will show you tried. This is not to diminish the very real worries of life, or the restlessness of certain experiences and bodily/hormonal fluctuations, but when a fragment feels he or she CANNOT choose against these things, it may be rooted in that lack of feeling safe. For those who choose to access and experiment with the energies available over the next few weeks, you can experiment with how often you can look at your life and say with trust and truth that you are safe. While the past couple of months helped support serious changes among most of you, this month’s energy can lend support in your reacquainting yourself with the “groove” of your life from the stance of Trust. We will now take questions from those who have them. QUESTIONS [infoloon] I thought virtually all children in this culture were punished for behaviors deemed unacceptable? [MichaelEntity] And the act of “worrying” is as pervasive. [Whillo333] Is the unsafe feeling from the unstable political and economic status of “the world” and the “fear” that seems to permeate society now? [MichaelEntity] It is actually rare that any older soul (Late Mature through Old) ever feels completely safe within the lifetime. Regardless of the state of any culture, society, country, or planet for that matter, the Older Souls have known many tragedies and have experienced many struggles these souls know all-too-well how easily a life can shift and change. Over many lifetimes the Essence gains experiences in managing these shifts and perils of the physical plane, but each lifetime also brings a new Personality that has never experienced death or struggle. [pitcoozer] That is a revelation – re: late mature and old souls .. and feeling safe. [MichaelEntity]This is a strange dichotomy that will eventually resolve itself as the Personality learns to access and trust what it considers its Essence. [pitcoozer] Explains a lot – the trust is like the candle blowing in the wind .. [Whillo333] Thank you. As an old soul, your comments are very meaningful to me. [MichaelEntity] As that dichotomy resolves itself, the Personality, while still being “new”, will not only find access to the memories of hardship and deaths, but also to the reality of the immortality of its Essence. [pitcoozer] Yes – alleviates the fear of death itself, and increases the zest for living and being .. [MichaelEntity] As we have said many times, but will say again, it is the Personality that “controls” the lifetime, not the Essence. While Essence can offer an overall theme to the lifetime, it is the choices and decisions of Personality that create the path of a lifetime. As each choice is made, Essence can “spin off” versions of that lifetime into “parallels”, allowing thousands of versions of the Personality to fulfill itself. [Whillo333] Can the 2 be at odds throughout the lifetime? [MichaelEntity] There will always be AT LEAST one parallel that will find resonance and recognition of Essence, following the original intent of the lifetime. There will almost always be at least one lifetime that completely rejects the notion of a soul and creates its own path. [Whillo333] In which case, what happens to the soul? [MichaelEntity] So, in answer to the original question, the sense of unsafety we speak of is that which is inherently a part of any life, especially of the older soul. Eventually, and as part of any final cycle of lives, the Personality and Essence become “One”, and a kind of “telescoping” of all lifetimes occurs, with all Personalities across time finally experiencing a sense of Home. In answer to your question, Whillo, the soul observes that lifetime/parallel and learns. [freyaisissuz] Wil’s que: Wil was channeled as having a secondary channeling agreement with Michael. A definition from Michael about a “secondary agreement” and how it differs from primary would help validate the contract for him and others. [MichaelEntity] Different channels will create different ways of describing our Agreements with us. Those who use “secondary” to describe an Agreement with us would usually be describing the seeking of direct contact with us for personal reasons, along with the ability to offer that contact to personal circles of friends or family. A “secondary” Agreement would not include any pull to “go public”, while a Primary Agreement may not only involve publicity, but the use of the Agreement as a source of income. [schleiv] How can we learn to trust the action of just letting your day go by. How do you know its right to just let it flow? At times I feel this, when doing my art but later, I think I could have been much more productive, where does the trust begin and the uncertainty end? [MichaelEntity] As with most distrust, it comes from speculation, not valid perception. Trust begins when you can learn to differentiate and choose between Speculation and Valid Perception. When you are in the middle of your day, trusting, flowing, and generally feeling synchronized with your life and Essence, it can safely be said that you are in a state of Trust. At the end of that same day, upon reinterpretation, you may then find yourself speculating, extracting upon retrospect all of the things you could or should have done; therein lays the source of your distrust and worry. Whether in speculation before or after an experience, you will always find ways that you could or should have done something. The ability to learn and evolve comes with a “double-edged sword”, meaning that along with that ability to evolve, you also have the ability to extract possibilities/probabilities that could/would have worked better or differently. [emberton@…] Thanks Michael, here is my question: If we find ourselves permeated by worry and fear-of-letting-go during this period, what method(s) or technologies do you recommend to facilitate a break in this pattern, beyond what has been mentioned previously? [MichaelEntity] We only suggest making the attempt to consciously choose Trust and to do so with the knowledge of why you may have difficulty doing so. There is no other way to truly make the choice. The most profound method of choosing Trust/Safety is in the simple act of STOPPING. By this we mean to literally stop moving, stop fidgeting, stop thinking about anything distracting, even for one minute or 30 seconds, and stating with as much gentleness as possible… “I AM SAFE. THERE IS NOTHING MORE THAN ME AND MY CHOICES RIGHT NOW. I AM SAFE.” Taking 30 seconds to feel safe and to choose trust can have a calming effect on the body and mind for at least an hour or so. We suggest stating the words once, gently and with as much truth as you can, and HEAR THEM. Repeating them over and over may create a reaction from your Instinctive Center that something is wrong and requires trying to override reality. So state the words calmly, plainly, sweetly to you, and listen to how they sound. It would do you well to understand that the words being stated will not change your life. Instead, they will be words that invite a new perception, which can then change your experiences of your life. Taking those moments to invite the perception, allowing more conscious and loving interpretations of the lifetime, lead to more conscious and loving choices. [H2OSprtlvr] Do you suggest that August is a good month to review personal fears such as with interpersonal relationships? All fears, I suppose. [MichaelEntity] Any Month is always a “good month” for any introspection. In your case, it may actually be a “good time” to give yourself a break from your constant internal scrutiny. While we are not suggesting you choose against your own inclinations, we will say that some of your solutions you seek can be found by not “looking so closely” at the matter at hand. You are submerged in an experience that could be benefited from a bit of distancing from it. The past few months were for such close scrutiny and clarity. August could be used to say, “Why did I ever think anything was ever wrong?” This does not mean you have to dismiss any responsibilities you feel inclined to work through, but it can help you make clearer, gentler decisions and Choices. Modern lives are not wrought with Survival as many of your past lives have been, but are wrought with “Improvement”. The greatest “improvement” you can make on any life or relationship is in freeing yourself from assuming there is some conclusive improvement to be reached. You will ALWAYS “improve” and we have yet to have seen any end to our potential evolution. We quote the word “improve” because of its being a misnomer. There is only Evolution. “Improvement” is relative. Relationships, internally and externally, will ALWAYS Evolve, which may be seen as an Improvement or not. [Anla899] What are ways to synchronize personality and Essence on a day to day basis? [MichaelEntity] There are three very simple and effective ways of synchronizing Essence with Personality: Writing to Essence, Talking to Essence, or Meditating to Essence. [Anla899] How do we do those? [MichaelEntity] Most fragments assume that Essence “knows all” about the lifetime being lived, but that is not the case. Essence only “knows” what YOU inform it of, which is why some lives can seem to spiral out of control, reaching a point where crisis is the only time the Personality seeks to contact its soul. Essence can only experience your life THROUGH you. There are moments within the life called “Instinctive Review” wherein the Personality “uploads” the experiences of the life to-date and Essence can then help to direct the life, if the Personality will allow it. Otherwise, it is up to Personality to keep the lines of communication clear and up-to-date. Keeping any form of a journal, whether daily or weekly or monthly can help keep Personality and Essence in contact and more united. For journaling, simply write about your life, stating clearly what it is you seek to change, stating clearly about areas in which you believe you would like help from Essence. Keep a log of your dreams and observe the changes you are recording by looking at patterns in your days, your choices, and reactions, dreams, etc. Keeping a journal is like remaining gently conscious of what it is you want, need, and keeping Essence included in that. Some of you may benefit from simply speaking out loud to Essence, treating this part of you as an actual “invisible friend” who is humorous and caring. State to your Essence occasionally how you feel your life is going, asking for help, or giving gratitude when it is felt. This can be done as ritualistically as prayer or as playfully as making comments throughout your day. And finally, some may be inclined to use Meditation for continual contact with Essence. We say Meditation as it includes any practice of focus whether through calming of the body and turning inward, or through running, exercising, doing a puzzle, etc. In those instances of Meditation, however you choose to meditate, remember to invite your Essence to access your Instinctive Center where all experiences are stored. These three methods can keep Essence continually updated and your life continually synchronized, instead of having to go through startling revelations during the scheduled Instinctive Reviews. [Additional information: Michael explained later that the reason for writing, speaking, or meditation, rather than just random inner dialogue, is not only due to the fact that those three methods engage all of the Lower Centers, but that they also help refine what it is you wish to communicate, rather than all of the random worries, fears, anxiousness, etc.] [schleiv] how often are those reviews? [MichaelEntity] Val, the Reviews are approximately every 7 years, with the major reviews around the ages of 28 and a 56.

    Michael Speaks: May 2005

May 1, 2005 Troy Tolley, Channel MICHAEL SPEAKS – Open Floor [M Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. [freyaisissuz] Michael has said in the past that in the teacher-student relationship we may learn from them and they learn from us. That indicates to me an evolving teaching. Do they still say that is true, and in what ways are we learning from each other today? How are we All doing? [M Entity] Of course we remain learning from you as much as you learn from us. There has come to be known many, many universal truths, routines, patterns, and repetitions that we can easily teach to all of you, but there are always “new” ways to experience life. We will not experience life through a body as you may experience that in your current time frame. We have learned and comprehended a great deal about the Physical Plane, but several of those fragments who have come to be known as our “students” have contributed to our own evolution of understanding the nuances of life on the Physical Plane. For while we are made up of 1050 Essences with an excess of 200,000 lifetimes of experience, there are far more of you collecting data within current times and through different “eyes.” In answer to “how you are all doing,” we would have to say that only you can determine the answer to that question, for we have no investment in a standard against which to measure your lives. [freyaisissuz] Of course that is true ;-), yet in terms of the ‘evolution’ of the teachings? [M Entity] We would say that most of those who claim to be our students have simply found a rest stop and remain stagnant in the comforts of the basic knowledge. Very few of our students actively implement the knowledge we impart. This is not to say that we “mind,” for we do not. We do not impart this information with an expectation. However, for purposes of response to your question, it is valid that few “use” this teaching. As long as there are divisions among those who work with our teaching, we can safely state that there are many who have “missed the point.” “Missing the point,” though, is a valid path of learning and experiencing, and for those fragments who choose that path, other areas of life are the priority. In those instances, it would do those fragments well to consciously acknowledge their true, primary philosophy, so transformation can begin, if they choose. Our teaching runs counter to politics and competition, though its terminology and construct can certainly be used in any arena of life for any purpose, even if counter to the intention. This is not unusual among humans on the path. [freyaisissuz] Point well taken, thank you for that clarification Michael. [M Entity] Many will cloak their true, primary philosophy with the terminology of a more peaceful philosophy, giving room for self-justification and permission for unconscious motives. This is why we suggest identifying the true, primary philosophy, first, if one is truly interested in implementing the philosophy of our own teaching. As with most teachings, the truth can be summed up in a phrase or word, and since ours can be summed up in the phrase “you are here to learn how to choose, and to choose how to learn,” we would say that those who are more concerned with the choices of others, while losing sight of their own, might be “missing the point.” Understanding the motivations, experiences, feelings, reactions, interpretations, within your own ability to choose, is where you will find the most use for our teaching. If that is your choice. We will add something to our response, then. When we refer to your “primary philosophy,” we are referring to two things: Your Attitude and the Structure through which you gather your experiences, such as a teaching, imprinting, cultural biases, etc. Many of our students are greatly influenced by the Young Soul philosophies of your current world, yet are quite unaware of this. In gaining that awareness of influence, the intended philosophies could find stability. When one is using an unconscious philosophy that is counter to the “peaceful, cloaking terminology” of another philosophy, one is in the Negative Pole of the Attitude. [sandt1222] Does that mean there is anything we can or should do to ease tension in the community? [M Entity] The tension among what you call “the community” is merely a reflection of the tension being addressed within each of our students. We do not say this as a new age cliché. Most of our students navigate the Physical Plane through a maze of Young Soul obstacles, battling the want to exclude oneself from “it all,” while wanting desperately to be a part of the game. This is reflected in your community. The division and contention within your “community” is the result of a Young Soul paradigm superimposed over a community of Older Souls who seek nothing beyond that which they have become acclimated… yet. [sandt1222] All these divisions can be physically painful. It does not seem that it “should” be this way. [M Entity] The divisions among your community are based on the very concepts of “individuality” and “specialness,” which are Young Soul philosophies. An insidious fear among many Older Souls who live in your Young Soul paradigm is that they are “not special.” You will find many Older Souls, particularly Mature Souls, among our teaching and among other progressive philosophies, grasping at terms and definitions as a means to desperately capture an image of their specialness. This is a result of Young Soul imprinting from your world, which says that you must prove your “uniqueness” or find some means to stand apart. Many use the Roles and Overleaves and Soul Ages as a means to define these feelings of specialness. Others use Past Life scenarios to compensate for the lack of feeling special. We will clarify that UNIQUENESS is quite different from SPECIALNESS. Uniqueness is what you ALREADY ARE. Specialness is what you THINK YOU SHOULD BE. Uniqueness stands on its own. Specialness requires constant feedback. Many do not care about their uniqueness, and struggle desperately for what could make them special. It could easily be said, then, that the paradigm of Special vs. Not Special (a young soul philosophy) is the root of your community's division. When your community begins to understand the Uniqueness among all of the groups of study, then your community will have implemented an Older Soul philosophy, and our teachings may have more meaning. [Tibtyc] Greetings, Michael. Where do you stand on the subject of copyright? I would like to write about you, or rather the ideas coming from you. This would probably mean quoting from different channels, but the prospect of doing that is kind of scary, from the viewpoint of copyright… Any advice? That was my question. [M Entity] When you are working with material from the physical plane, however inspired from non-physical sources, the question of ownership and copyright is valid. It is quite within the rights of any fragment to quote another. There are very few restrictions upon that freedom. As to where we “stand,” we have nothing to gain or lose by your efforts. We have no cosmic “ATMs” through which we could reap the rewards of the printed word. [Tibtyc] There are unpublished manuscripts, I was partly thinking of those… [M Entity] These manuscripts are not conclusive words trapped by print. The same can come again through any of our valid channels. We are quite available and would remain so for any printed word we wish to impart. [Tibtyc] That brightens the picture… [M Entity] In other words, the concepts can be extracted from the “unpublished manuscripts” and posed to an available channel through which you wish to work with us. We may speak on those same subjects through that channel, allowing for more freedom for public print. [Tibtyc] There are especially beautiful formulations… [M Entity] If you are more concerned with the attachment of the print to the reputations of the fragments who collected it, then we would then have to suggest that your efforts require their participation and permission, for the most part. [Fyredeva11] On another list, someone brought up the question of validity that 2 persons channeled as being in the same entity are ACTUALLY FROM the same entity, given that there must be tens of thousands of cadre groups each with Entity 1/5, for example. I ask this in skepticism of having so many channeled celebrities in our cadre. It seems to fall under the need for “specialness” you just spoke of. [M Entity] It is valid that many fragments channeled as being within the same Cadre and Entity are technically NOT, though the numbers used for convenience are identical. This is especially true of many “celebrities” (historical or current) who are identified as being from among the same Energy Ring as our students. This is simply due to lack of understanding the structure of sentience. Those we call our “students” are wholly limited to a group of 12 Cadres; an Energy Ring. We have approximately 100,000 students. This is not to say that others outside of our Agreements will not become students, but we speak of those with whom we have original. [Fyredeva11] thank you…(I knew Michael Jackson wasn't in my entity!) [M Entity] The confusion as from which Cadre and Entity a fragment comes could be clarified by including the Energy Ring number, but this is still a confusing concept for several of our students and channels. We say this more as a statement of the limitations placed upon the conveyance of the simplicity of the system, rather than as a statement of your ability to understand. For some concepts, our channels are simply limited or uninterested. In other instances, a clear distortion of the system is perpetuated, lending even more confusion to a rather simple construct. While including the Energy Ring number would help in clarifying specific Cadre and Entity, even the count of Energy Rings repeats. This means that an Energy Ring 3, Cadre 7, Entity 4, exists in multiples, as well. To help your understanding of the simple, yet awesome, structure of human sentience, here is how we are cast: 1 Ring = 12 Cadres 12 Rings = 1 Sphere 12 Spheres = 1 Arrangement 12 Arrangements = 1 Composition 12 Compositions = 1 Harmony (up to) 7 Harmonies = 1 Design ALL of a Specific Sentient species we refer to as a “Design.” There are never more than 7 Harmonies in 1 Design. This structure then extends and changes when including other Sentience. One can see why this is confusing to most, not because of complication, but simply by the sheer enormity of the visualization. [Fyredeva11] which one is our energy ring in? [M Entity] Within all of this daunting information, it can safely be said that if you are studying our teaching, you are within the Cadres and Entities of the same Energy Ring, even if that Energy Ring is numbered differently through our different channels. Through this channel, we would call your Ring Number 2, Harmony 1. [Fyredeva11] Artisan flavored? [M Entity] It could be described as so, but this would be quite simplistic, if not explored beyond the assumptions. We are from Energy Ring 1, Cadre 11, Entity 4, Harmony 1. We are part of the same “Sphere” as our students. We are from Sphere 2. The previous Sphere 1 (12 Energy Rings) were part of what has come to be known as “Lemurians” or those less-physically dense, though they were still of “human” consciousness. The mathematical meaning of the numbers referencing your positions is more influential than whether you literally share the same Entity. [Fyredeva11] positions? [M Entity] Your resonance and compatibility among you are difficult to validate in terms of Entity and Cadre accurately. Being “wrong” about whether you are from the same Entity will not slow your progress. Yes, Positions. For instance, a 3rd Entity will still have a specific, mathematical meaning, regardless of its Cadre or Energy Ring. This mathematical meaning can often be the binding force between two fragments who are technically NOT from the same Entity. On the contrary, those technically within the same Entity may find absolutely no resonance during specific lifetimes, especially when interpreted through False Personality. Incidentally, Michael Jackson is in your Entity, Kerrin. Celebrity does not preclude a fragment from being our student. Only Choice can do that. [Annsge] So Michael J could have been a Michael student. [M Entity] Michael Jackson has been exposed to our teaching. The Personality known as Michael Jackson has chosen to abdicate Agreements with us for this lifetime, but this does not alter anything for his Essence. [Annsge] According to some in the Michael community, Jackson was Mozart. [M Entity] It often a mistake to assume that similarities between a past personality and those of a current personality validates a reincarnation. It is more often the case that a fragment creates a spectrum of personalities across a theme, rather than recreating the same for the convenience of recognition. [Fyredeva11] it just seems odd that if there are, say, a few hundred souls incarnate from an entity- that they would be so far removed [M Entity] Kerrin, in what way do you use the words “so far removed?” [Fyredeva11] I mean in so “different” a world. I guess Hollywood seems like a different world, in a sense. [M Entity] We remind you that our students, even among “your world,” are quite unique among themselves and often cannot relate. [Annsge] Does the 7th Internal Monad always mean physical death? [M Entity] No, but only rarely. Those who transit a Soul Age within one lifetime will go through a psychological “death” of sorts, and during the process, despite being alive, the 7th Internal Monad would apply. By extension, a new “Birth” would also result. However, in these rare cases of Soul Age transition within a lifetime, there is also an overall “arc” of the 7 Internal Monads that remain within the context of physical aging. The 7th Internal Monad is almost always a physical death and how that death's impact is processed by the fragment and his remaining family and friends. This Internal Monad, as we said, can also be WITHOUT a physical death, but through a major, pivotal, transitional, transformation in the psychological makeup of a fragment shifting in Soul Age within a lifetime. [Tibtyc] Could you clarify “arc”? [M Entity] Physical Birth to Physical Death could be described as “the Arc of Internal Monads.” Psychological Birth to Psychological Death could be described then as a “Cycle of Internal Monads.” A Cycle is all that is necessary to be completed in the process of moving from one Soul Age or Level to another, so for many Older Souls, physical death is not necessary to begin the new perceptions. This process is not popular. Most fragments choose to reflect from outside of the lifetime, in review, rather than to implement such high awareness from within the demands of Physicality. [Tibtyc] This would be a review within a lifetime, of that lifetime? [M Entity] Yes. Review is always necessary in the process of creating a new cycle of Internal Monads. This process can be quite demanding and challenging while within the lifetime. Once a Soul Age or Level has been transited within a lifetime, it will usually take the next 7 months for Review, and the next 7 years for implementation of the new perception. [slacnj] By my accounting there are 21 extra fragments in your entity. You said there are wild cards, one time, but I wasn't sure if you wanted this information to come out now to explain the difference. I jokingly also speculated that some people have aisle seats and some have window seats. [M Entity] A “Wild Card” is a fragment who “straddles” two casting positions. When a Cadence in “incomplete,” those fragments at the beginning of the following Cadence will then “fill two positions.” slacnj: so you can be in more than one cadence at a time? [M Entity] Yes. Our channels envision this “wild card” scenario quite differently among them, with some visualizing a more condensed perfection of an Entity structure, with wild cards being “stragglers hanging on” from the “edges.” Asymmetry is required of an Entity for it have “wild cards.” However, that same asymmetry is no longer in effect, ultimately BECAUSE of the “wild cards” fulfilling the positions required for symmetry. [slacnj] but 1050 is 21 more than 3 times 343 [slacnj] you have 3 extra cadences [M Entity] While an Entity of 1029 is the most common symmetrical configuration, 1050 is not asymmetrical. We do not have any “wildcards.” If an Entity's count is divisible by 7, there are no “wild cards.” It is not in the “extra” cadences that asymmetry is created, but in the incompletion of a single Cadence. If positions 5, 6, 7 are “empty” in a final Cadence of Sages, then the positions of 1, 2, 3, of the following Cadence of Artisans (for example) will fulfill 5, 6, 7 consecutively. This “straddling” creates a fragment who is at once intensely unstable, while inherently being one of the most stabilizing forces known, as well. How that “wildness” is exhibited is determined by the choice of the Essence and its current Personality. [slacnj] everyone wants to be special here [M Entity] Your humor is not lost on us. [freyaisissuz] unique at least [M Entity] We know of no one more unique than each of you. The spectrum of the beauty among you is as valid as the patterns we perceive in planes even beyond our own. Good night to all of you. We will conclude here.
  4. Michael Speaks Live How Reincarnation Works -- Part I June 28, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we will talk about reincarnation, and how it works. Many of our students come to our teaching with presumptions of how reincarnation works, and most never ask about it. As our teaching is built from the questions of our students, and not from our simply deciding what you should know, the subject of reincarnation has been overlooked, despite its being such an intrinsic premise of this teaching. Much of what we will share today will not be new, but it may come together in a succinct way that is new for many. The primary understanding of how reincarnation works is quite accurate, but is simply not the whole story. Reincarnation IS linear. It does move forward in a way that reflects an evolution. So what has been shared in terms of this linear progression is certainly not misleading. It is just that there is more to it than that. So we will not be contradicting anything you already know from us. If there were no linear progression there would be no Soul Ages. So we will begin in our elaboration by saying that time and space of the Physical Plane are profoundly alive, made of an energy that does not "die," and is dynamic beyond what is currently understood as fact in sciences. It is speculated in many ways through mysticism and quantum physics, but as Essence, it is not speculation or magical. As we deliver this through Troy, there may be pauses as he unpacks new concepts or rearranges them into meaningful ways. Delivery speed will increase as we go. To help you understand how reincarnation works, we will use familiar tools and experiences as analogy. In this case, to start off, think of the Physical Plane as something more like an ocean into which one dives for an incarnation. If the ocean is the Physical Plane, then its container and depths are "space" while currents and movement of waves are "time." When you incarnate, your Essence never truly "dives" into that water. It is represented by its creation. "You." The vessel through which the dive is made possible. The beacon with which Essence remains connected to the Body is the Instinctive Center. Essence cannot swim, so to speak, so it can only "watch" from a distance, metaphorically speaking, of course. Once the body/Personality is created, those first 7 years are almost entirely in the hands of the caretakers raising the child, acting as extensions of the caretakers/parents. Those 7 years are the only years in which the choices of the Personality are not fully its own. There are either choices being made from an anatomic state, or being made on behalf of the child by the caretakers. This anatomic state is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center. It is based on a combination of the programming from Essence, and the survival mechanisms of the body. Over the course of those 7 years, the brain is then capable of generating the field that will be understood as the consciousness of that Personality. But it can take between 3 and 7 years for any body, regardless of Soul Age, to generate the capacity for consciousness to be sustained by the Body and Personality. Until that spark of consciousness lights up, the brain is only remembering in terms of sensory perceptions relative to survival, even if it is storing a great deal more. Anything stored beyond the necessity for survival can be retrieved once the consciousness is activated. To simplify this picture, it is as if Essence programs a disc, pops it into the body as it is being formed, and upon first breath, that body is on its own until it gains its first spark of consciousness. As consciousness expands in that Personality/Body, so does its capacity to give space and time to Essence. As "you" begin to expand in awareness of Essence, then Essence is no longer relegated to a passive position. It can begin to experience the world with you, through you, AS you. This is important to understand as it speaks to the process of the Internal Monads we describe. As each Internal Monad is fulfilled in the Positive Pole, a greater window of time and space is given to Essence through you. The Internal Monads describe how you allow Essence to exist through you, as you. Soul Age, on the other hand, describes how YOU progress toward existing through Essence, AS Essence. In Infant Soul lifetimes, the gap between Essence and Personality is the farthest, if you will, while the gap between Essence and Personality in the older Soul Ages closes. Within each Soul Age, the gap between Essence and Personality is farthest during the 1st Internal Monad, and closes as one moves through the 7th. This will be important to understand in a few moments. The Instinctive Center is something that is born of every Body. It is a blank disc, or "drive," if you will, in every body. Essence does not separate itself from the disc that is "inserted" into a body, but rather gives a COPY to that body. The "original" version remains with Essence. The "copy" is left with the Body/Personality. This is from which the Life Plan, Life Task, Agreements, genetic emphases, and Overleaves will arise for that body. The "copy" and the "original" are on a Frequency that is exactly the same as the Frequency of Essence, which is unique to that Essence and no other. Each of our students are fairly familiar with Frequency in terms of how one processes experiences, and so forth, and you may know your Frequency as 70 or 35 or 55, etc., but in terms of Essences, your Frequency number includes a massive string of decimal points beyond that number, entirely unique to you. That Frequency keeps Essence linked to the Instinctive Center "disc" that was inserted into a life. Regardless of how the brain will function for that Personality, that Instinctive Center will record everything experienced. Everything. It is the local Akashic Records of the body. In even the most resistant and limited of Personalities, the Instinctive Center "uploads" all new data to Essence every 7 years. So even if a Personality actively and effectively rejects Essence, that Essence will still get its updates about that Personality and those updates will "write" onto the original copy of the "disc" that is with Essence. That original copy that is with Essence is always with Essence and is updated in each of these 7 year Reviews, and in after death Review. However, that "copy" that was given to the Personality is forever unique to that Personality. It will not be destroyed, nor lost. Over the course of your incarnations as Essence, the Personalities that "you" were never die, either. In the same way that Entities are comprised of fragments who are Essence, Essence is comprised of fragments who are Personalities. "You," as Essence, are everything you have ever been, while "you" as Personality are utterly and entirely unique to who you are, every single lifetime. There will never be another "you." In either sense of the word. In those early incarnations, and soul ages, when Essence and Personality are at the greater distances apart, this is why the idea of having one life is emphasized. It is not inaccurate. You, as YOU, live but once. But even this is a bit of a misnomer. And this is where we will be venturing into some difficult territory for some. As each lifetime is generated, each Personality brought to life, each copy of a disc made for a Personality as a beacon for Essence, and even as each body dies, Essence is never limited by this in terms of its existence through any given Personality. Every Personality remains "alive" and existing for Essence along the way, easily revisited. It will not matter that for that Personality, it has experienced death of the body. Essence can simply "rewind" without losing its linear progression and revisit each and every Personality. There is a reason for this. Because every single Personality has choice, there will be many along the way that do not choose Essence. Many more than one would think. As part of the process of moving from one Soul Age to the next, it becomes a priority for Essence to scan back across the lifetimes lived as that Soul Age, and "collect" as many of those Personalities as possible. By the time one reaches the 7th Level of any Soul Age, the Personality that is at that 7th Level, even if 7th Level Infant, has expanded its consciousness enough to give room to Essence to move through the Plane of Time and Space to look for those Personalities that had rejected Essence. The 7th Level Personality lives as a kind of conduit, not only for its relationship with its own Essence, but also for all of the Personalities that came before it within that Soul Age. Because of this, not only is Essence linked to all of those previous Personalities and their copies of Instinctive Center, but that 7th Level Personality is, as well. The process of leaving a Soul Age, then, is like a telescoping reunion of sorts, bringing home any Personality that could not do so on its own. Until that happens, regardless of the experience of death for that body, that lifetime is literally being lived, over and over, looping, continuing in multitudes of variation. Because of that looping of the lifetime, the Instinctive Center that is unique to that Personality continues to be filled with data. Continues to transmit to Essence. That Personality evolves on its own. In its own time, at its own pace, and by the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence, enough so to bring them home. Each Soul Age will often continue to have a handful of Personalities "left behind" regardless of that process of reunion because they simply have not expanded in consciousness to the point of allowing Essence to collect them. So at the 7th Level of each Soul Age, it is not only a process of collecting those within that Soul Age, but also a process of collecting from any Soul Age already completed. The 7th Level Old Soul, then, is extremely busy in this regard, linked to every remaining Personality across time that has not yet come to be collected. This is part of why it is difficult for us to give you Past Life information without some qualification, and often only in terms of distinct qualities that defined that lifetime. Because if there is a past life with which you resonate, it is likely a part of you still incarnating, having looped multiple times so that the variations on that lifetime are profound. This becomes more likely the further back in time and space we must look, while more recent lifetimes are fairly clear. That is because, as older souls, there are fewer of these looping anchors in "your" past. When you "cycle" off the Physical Plane, your Essence is then every single Personality it has ever been. Every Personality has come home. Every Personality has evolved to a point of consciousness that allowed for its ride home. This is important to understand because each of you are vital to that process. You are not merely a stepping stone for Essence. You ARE Essence. This is why suicide is useless, as well. It ends nothing. And even if the appeal of "starting over" is high, the disc that is unique to you is loaded back up and you must learn from within that all over again. We have said to our students that each Soul Age LEVEL is the completion of 7 Internal Monads. That is true. And it will take as many lifetimes as necessary, since not every Personality will complete the set of 7 Internal Monads. But Essence does not progress beyond a LEVEL within a Soul Age until at least one Personality completes all 7 Internal Monads within that single lifetime. However, with this new understanding you may have about how Personalities remain locked in a loop of incarnations, building upon its unique Instinctive Center, we can now tell you that every single Personality ever created will, eventually, complete every Internal Monad. That is how each of them go home, reuniting with its source, Essence. We have much more to say on this subject, of course, and we have yet to address concurrents and parallels, but this is a start. We will open the floor now for a few questions, but must conclude fairly soon for Troy. ***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** Janet: if the 'spark of consciousness' never lights up before the death of a child, what happens to the child's copy of its Essence 'disc'? Is it still a personality to be collected? MEntity: Yes. That incarnation will "loop" again and again for the sake of eventually living a full life. Keep in mind that there are parallels where that child may not have died, and this helps allow for the looping to be avoided, if possible. We misread your question. If the child is under 3 years old, or that spark of consciousness does not ignite, there is almost always a parallel where the life is longer, and the spark ignites. However, when that is not the case, and there are no parallels generated to accommodate the life, that "disc" will be used as "the next life." This is often the case in crib deaths, for instance. Does this answer your question? Janet: Yes. Thank you. BillG: Question: what is the fate of the focus personality after death of the body since it is the essence, not the personality, which is reincarnating? MEntity: For those Personalities who complete Review and reunite with Essence, it is quite similar to how one reunites with one's Entity as an Essence. The Essence houses the Personality in a way that allows for that Personality to continue evolving, but on the Astral Plane. It basically gets to "do whatever it wants." It is how the concept of "heaven" came about. The Personality gets to play, explore, create, and generate fantastical worlds to share. In many cases, a Personality will come to be the contact point for another fragment still incarnating, and that is how your own Essence can act as a "guide" for others. That is also how guides can often still have "personality.” The mid-Astral Plane is where your Personalities "live" once they are done in the Physical Plane, and they become accessible to "you" as part of your own network of support, guidance, wisdom, etc. as you expand your consciousness. You are never alone, in that regard, and what is "Essence" is forever changed by each one that comes home. Does this answer your question? BillG: Yes., thank you. Just wondering if those personalities include future selves as well as past ones MEntity: It can be complicated to explain, but yes, there are "future selves" there, as well, especially for those Personalities that are looping in their incarnations. That is a topic in itself, but the concept is valid. There is more to say, and we can always elaborate upon all of the various things a Personality can do after Review. Paulyboy: Hi Michael – Bill's question answered my original, so – Could you expand please upon the various things a personality can do after review? Like, have other lifetimes, be born as a dragon in some fantasy world, fly a starship in some sort of “Star Trek” like universe, be born a different gender on an alternate 20th century Earth, etc.? Expand please I find this awesome and interesting Rather, in the mid Astral plane, after "coming home" Thank you Watch versions of your favorite movie where the ending didn't "suck" from a slightly different parallel? Etc.? Anyway, just prattling on here. MEntity: All of the above, and then some. Keep in mind that this will have been within the Astral Plane. It is as real as the Physical Plane, of course, but simply in a different way with different physics. In addition to all of the creative ways one can live in the Astral, the Personality can also visit any of the previous Personalities still incarnating, act as a guide, support, etc. This is often the case for most who are 6th Level. This is why those at the 6th Level feel a bizarre sense of feeling protected and safe, even if life crumbles around them. There is a knowing that is new, and that is partially because that Personality is connecting with the truth of its many selves beyond any challenges. Surprisingly, many Personalities find themselves eager to help, support, and learn in ways that are not escapist. There are phases of adaptation that we can delineate that each Personality goes through once residing in the Astral. We can explore this in further exchanges with you. ConnorB: What role does a Personality play, if any, in the planning of a subsequent lifetime? MEntity: Connor, they play a vital role, if there is reunion. If the Personality remains in a loop, then Essence will use the data gathered so as to evolve itself and create further lifetimes, but in the case where a Personality returns to Essence, or when a Personality is manifesting Essence, then there is high involvement in creating "the next" lifetime. That is, if they choose to be. ViP1: I hope this question doesn't come across the "wrong" way but I've had it queued up for some time. Some spiritual teachings hold that it is possible, while physically incarnated, to cut the experience of reincarnation short by bringing oneself (through meditation or possibly other practices) into a state of experiencing oneself as being the "creator", or I suppose what would be called Tao in your teaching, and training oneself to stay in that state, even as the physical body and what it experiences via the senses is still perceived. And that there would eventually come a point where that state would become self-perpetuating, with no further individual effort required. And that upon the death of the physical form, one will remain in the experience of oneness with Tao, with no further reincarnations or experiences on any of the planes. (Not including Grand Cycles.) Is such a thing actually possible, irrespective of whether it might be considered desirable or not? If not, then what would you say these teachings might actually be describing, if it would be something you could comment on? MEntity: First, the concept is absurd. There are no shortcuts. Second, the concept is generated to bring false comfort. It is the equivalent of spiritual suicide. Those who would subscribe to the concept will be in for a big surprise. Bobby: By the time there is a Personality at the 7th Level of that Soul Age, many of these previous Personalities that were locked into a loop of learning are now accessible to Essence. Does the review only take place at the 7th level or does it happen for each personality just after death? MEntity: Review will happen after every death, but that Review determines if there is return to Essence, or continuation in the loop. It is not *quite* that simple, but it is the response we can get through for now. We must conclude here for tonight. We have exhausted our channel. Good evening or good day or good morning to each of you. July 6, 2015 Question asked during Ask Michael session JanaK: I have a followup question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” thrown out, which I would like more clarification on. I will state how I understood it, so please correct anything that I have misunderstood. So if I understand it correctly, what determines whether the Personality is stuck, is whether they do or don’t complete the Review and reunite with Essence. If they don’t complete it and don’t unite with Essence, then they keep literally reincarnating, living through variations on the same lifetime (presumably this happens in separate parallels). They keep doing this, until they evolve enough to be able to reunite with Essence, in which they sometimes need to be helped. You have also said, that in this way they all do get to eventually complete all 7 IMs. Yet, I also thought one can complete Review and reunite with Essence without completing all 7 IMs? Are all personalities stuck until they have lived in some way (parallel or looping) till 7th IM in positive? MEntity: Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc., will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. Those Personalities that fall into a loop are those that do not complete an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, or resign to the Negative Pole of an Internal Monad. That Personality will "loop" until it has completed the Internal Monad relative to what it had been trying to complete, and then it can move into Review. However, it is quite common that these Personalities will just continue to completion of all 7 Internal Monads, however many loops that would take. It Reviews, but mostly for the sake of updating Essence. The Personality is not quite capable of full comprehension until there is at least one Personality that has completed all 7 Internal Monads. Then the gathering of all Personalities from the Soul Age compile experiences for Review that launches the Essence into the next Soul Age. Because of the uniting of experiences and processes, then all Personalities that are a part of that benefit and, technically, each completes all 7 Internal Monads relative to their own lives. Those Personalities in a loop will have done so for themselves by this time, and will join the evolution into the next Soul Age, or will remain and continue in their loops, until either the completion of the 7th Internal Monad on their own, or help comes. Each of you will likely have several "loops" that will need to be collected from across your Soul Ages when you get to your 7th Level of the Old Soul Age. How Reincarnation Works -- Part II
  5. OMW - Jun 14, 2013 - Getting The Most Out of Your Platform Channel: Troy Tolley BRIDGE TO REMEMBERING MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here, now. We will begin our discussion with you regarding the concept, function, and application of the Platform. [Bobby] how do we really know it's you? [GeraldineB] Hello, Michael - have been thinking a lot about you lately [Bobby] I'm just kidding, proceed MEntity: We regard that as a valid question. We are asked this by Troy on a regular basis. Our response can only be that identity is already difficult to pinpoint with any staticity within a closed system, and even more difficult to do so from outside of that dense and temporal systems. Staticity: Any static force must act instantaneously, since any finite speed of propagation would destroy the force's staticity There are unique consistencies to every fragment and form of consciousness that are known to all of us, inherently, even from within the densest forms of our consciousness. In most cases, that consistency can only be experienced as a "knowing," or a kind of remembering that is difficult to reject, from within the denser planes. We think the questioning of the validity of our presence and identity is valuable for sustaining sensitivity to that state of remembering. It is also how you grow to remember who you are, as well, from beyond the beautiful limitations of your current form. This is not unrelated to the subject requested for discussion. It is part of the point of the Platform: a bridge to remembering. The concept of a Platform is brought to incarnations as a means for Essence to gain from the lifetime the intentions for birthing that lifetime. For most of one's incarnations, the Personality rules each lifetime, including the various parallel versions. The Personality is asleep more often than not. This is not a "bad thing." It is expected, and inherent within the denser planes. Regardless of the intentions for a lifetime, the Personality will create that lifetime from its choices, which may or may not be in alignment with the original intentions of Essence. This is an exciting part of the incarnational process for Essence. It is a microcosmic reflection of how Tao experiences each of its Essences. Your lifetimes are "fragments" of your Essence, as each Essence is a fragment of Tao. However, regardless of all of the newness and experimentation brought to Essence from each Personality's process of choice and awakening, the Platform ensures that the intentions of Essence can extract from those experiences anything that contributes to the greater intention, without interfering with the lifetime or Personality. The Platforms are broad enough to "catch in its net" a great deal that supports the greater intentions. [GeraldineB] Question: Then why does there need to be a Review at 7-year intervals? MEntity: Along with the Platforms come the built-in cycles of Review. Those are built in based upon the life span of the species, as well as its astronomical and astrological dynamics. Even if a Personality has completely rejected the notion and existence of Essence, the general 7 year cycle for access to the Instinctive Center will allow Essence to be updated, and to contribute to the life, if it feels this is necessary, or if it is requested (even subconsciously or unconsciously). The experiences gained and collected through the Platforms cannot be accessed between those Reviews, unless the Personality allows for it. For the younger souls, and for those who reject Essence, those Reviews tend to be rather dramatic, because it is a fairly massive "upload" and calibration period. The Platform and Reviews, then, work together, and are often the only access Essence has to the lifetime of a Personality. Keep in mind that we differentiate these levels of the self as a means of simplicity, but in the larger context, they are not experienced as so divided and independent. Over the course of incarnations, there begins to grow a consistency of awareness that starts with the questioning of "who am I; why am I here?" Those questions can only come when Essence is present, Manifested. Those questions come because in the earlier states of Manifestation, it is bewildering for Essence to finally "see" through "your" eyes, through the eyes of its creation. A new dynamic of consciousness is birthed in those moments. Once the conduit of consistency has formed from those moments, the Soul Age is shifting toward Mature. By the time one is an Old Soul, it is quite difficult NOT to have that dynamic conduit between the Personality and Essence. Reviews are no longer dependent upon biology, astronomy, or astrology, or death. Access to the experiences of the life comes to be freely available, along with calibration and collaboration. This is not to say that Manifestation is consistent, sustained, welcomed, or easy for the older soul, but that it is relatively more so. Platforms come on a fairly regular basis in cycles that last between May of one year to April of the next. This cycle is based on precedence set long ago in the species relative to the seasons. There is a Platform for each of you based in 100-year cycles, as well, and one for the entire species/Design, as well. [Bobby] why that cycle, Michael? MEntity: This is based upon the general cycle of Review that the species moves through as a whole. Every 100 years there tends to be a collective Review on a grand scale. This is due in large part to the average lifespan of the bodies over eons, sometimes spanning much longer, sometimes far fewer in years. 100 worked well as a means for large groups to incarnate, live, gain experiences, die, and contribute to Review. As our students have come to be aware of Platforms, and for those who comprehend the concept, they help to bridge between Essence and Personality on a scale that can bring about full Manifestation more consistently than any other single concept in our teaching. Every part of our teaching contributes to that full Manifestation, if used as a tool for living, choice, and consciousness, but when one actively notes the Platform for a cycle, notices the patterns, and contributes to the understanding of those patterns, the conduit between Essence and Personality can grow in ways that even understanding the concept of Essence cannot. This tends to be because the Platform includes the mundane elements of life, and not just the internal workings of the self. Noting the Platform helps bring to the life an acute, curious, and willing awareness that tends to enjoy the process of the patterns that can contribute to the Platform. In addition to this, because of the conscious awareness brought to one's patterns, choices, and experience, the feedback to Essence is on-going and alive, which naturally fuels the Personality in a way that it is not fueled when rejecting of Essence. The Platform you received from us tells you a part of your story, not just as potential for Personality, but as intention from Essence. Even if only one experience in your Platform Cycle were to contribute to a Platform, it is valued and cherished by Essence. The ecstasy for Essence when a Personality openly invites Essence to the life is already fairly profound, and never "gets old," but then the willingness of Personality to grasp the general patterns of intentions through the Platform, is enthusiastically blissful. Essence loves to be loved, accepted, and included, as much as "you" do. Though you and Essence are the same, the experience is similar to when you stop for a moment to truly accept yourself. You are the one doing the accepting of yourself, but that does not diminish the power of doing so. As you have seen through our discussions with you regarding polarities, Love in its simplest description is merely inclusion. The greater the circle and depth of inclusion, the greater the practice and experience of Love. We offer all of this information and insight to you today before taking your questions because your questions may take on a new light, new depth and meaning, when understanding just what these Platforms mean for Essence and you. QUESTIONS and ANSWERS [Maureen] Michael, interestingly, I am going through my second (and may be my last) Saturn Return and my 2013/14 Platform is RETURN. I see teeth as being representative of Saturn (for instance in dreams). In “real” life a dental bridge (Platform) in my mouth has just recently failed and I am having to get more dental implants. One side of the bridge was not “supported” at all. Is this just a coincidence or is the symbology to be noted and incorporated (a pun…) into this period of RETURN? If this symbology is relevant -- what is this communicating to me? MEntity: Maureen, the symbology and significance would be yours to determine, and these are not necessarily messages as much as they are reflections of a process. In other words, teeth would not necessarily be the same important symbolism to another who is in a Saturn Return, or a Platform of Return. [Maureen] I even had a picture fall off a wall with a "failed" bridge. Maybe I'm just skittery these days. LOL MEntity: The Personality tends to develop symbolism as a means of packaging concepts, and these can then be used for communication, not only with others, but within. [GeraldineB] (teeth and bridges? snort. . .Michael is getting funny again) MEntity: We think your system of symbols and their use for communication is fully functional and intact, with the emphasis on "bridges" and the Platform of Return all contributing to the extraction of experiences regarding a peace in ownership of the wholeness of the self. As reflections of the process, these seem to indicate that your attention is being brought to the areas of the life that have been taken for granted, have been ruled by presumption, even prejudices. Even the oldest of souls "nods off" in life, and presumes he or she has no more to learn, no more to offer, or that things are going to stay where they are because that is where they have been. But pictures can fall. Teeth can loosen. Surgeries can require revisits. And none of these are about failures. They are about caring, tending, and the patience that is required for revisits to that which one thought was already set. Does this make sense to you, Maureen? [Maureen] I felt a burst of love and realization with that Michael. . .and some tears [Janet] My platform is True Realization. I have been trying to practice what you call vividry on frequent occasions. It's often useful for bringing me back to what's really important in my life. On several occasions, my intent to really focus hasn't worked. It can be a lovely day, and I try to take it in, but for some reason it feels like I'm outside looking in and nothing seems fully colored in, so to speak. Nothing seems real. It has occurred to me that perhaps this is because what I'm seeing ISN'T real, but it's somewhat frustrating because it makes me feel like I'm observing rather than participating in my life at that moment. Is this in any way related to my platform? MEntity: Yes, Janet, it is related. (Note from GLB -- I SO wanted to just leave that answer "as is" and type NEXT) MEntity: When one wishes to truly grasp a concept, there tends to be a necessity for contrast, experimentation, and degrees, which then allow for the truth to be known, not just speculated or forced. In your case, your efforts for moments of Vividry are resulting in your realizing: One - they cannot be forced; Two - that sometimes you miss the point. What we mean by the latter is that your moment of vividry may not open you to the sunlight, color, and texture of the exterior of you, but it put you directly in touch with your inner landscape that is just as important for bringing vividry. Sometimes when one cannot bring oneself into the vividry of the external world, there are internal landscapes drawing your attention. In your case, Janet, there are tears that have been withheld, ignored, or dismissed. These are as important to the inner landscape as the rain is to the outer. [Janet] Hmmm. I'm pretty stoic as a rule. But this makes some sense and I will consider this. MEntity: In those moments where you find your vividry turning you inward, let yourself go there, bring that vividry within, and turn your feelings, thoughts, and energy into symbolic landscapes of beauty. [Bobby] In my Platform, in the last sentence, you stated "There may be some surprising moments of harmony over this Cycle that are remembered for lifetimes to come." I found this statement very intriguing. Would you elaborate on what you meant by this a little more, especially the part linking to future lifetimes? MEntity: Many students begin their search across lifetimes for the resonances that may be the cause of pain, Karma, etc, but what truly link together lifetimes is the resonance, the harmonies. In fact, once a Karma is balanced, or a pattern of struggle that activates a Past Life is completed, these unlink those lifetimes, if you will. But those links of harmony and resonance are binding, permanent, and become that which Essence uses for wholeness in the reunion in higher planes. Over this Platform Cycle, there would tend to come more noticeable moments of harmony and resonance that come, in general, but it is those moments of harmony and resonance that are brought from those moments when they would otherwise have difficulty being nurtured that you may find the surprise, and those would be memorable. [Bobby] Has there been one of these yet that I can reflect back on? MEntity: This is when the power of choice is truly brought to light. If you cannot answer that for yourself, then there probably has not. [Bobby] lol, ok MEntity: Keep in mind that there is a difference between using choice to pacify a situation, to divert a situation, and when choice is used for nurturing harmony and resonance within, or between yourself and another. The surprise factor might come in the form of, "oh my. that worked!" "Worked" referring to a return to, or a creation of, a state of harmony and resonance. [GeraldineB] The only Question I have at this time would be: Is it possible to have a 100 Year Platform as a report where it wouldn't be prohibitively expensive due to being too time consuming for Troy? And, would it include all incarnations and concurrents for that period? The theme or pattern of their life tasks as it were. MEntity: We have provided these in general form through Troy as "uber platforms." If details were to be explored regarding the various lifetimes contributing to the Uber Platform, it could include the lifetimes contributing to that cycle, their Life Tasks, but the year-by-year detail of each Personality's Platform Cycles would be tedious, though not impossible. [GeraldineB] Oh -- so 100-year Platform is a year by year rather than an overarching view? MEntity: They are not year-by-year in terms of uber platform, but there are year-by-year Platforms within those that tend to contribute to the uber platform. All of you are in a new Uber Platform as of the general vicinity of the year 2000, as is the whole of incarnating Sentience, having moved from an Uber Platform of Debt to an Uber Platform of Choice. [GeraldineB] And, boy oh boy, are the Choices becoming "interesting" MEntity: In closing for this subject, we can suggest that as each of you move forward in your Platform Cycle, that you move gently, lightly, and without concern. It is not a description of prediction or obligation. It is an invitation, if anything, and always open, never demanding or obligatory. Are there any further questions before we close? Do each of you feel more intimate with your Platform than before this exploration on the subject? [Maureen] yes [GeraldineB] I do [Bobby] yes, I'm looking forward to working with it MEntity: Good day to each of you, then. We will conclude here. [Bobby] Thank you, Michael. And by the way, I really knew it was you all along ;-) MEntity: Goodbye. Another Note from GLB: As you can see, this was a very relaxed session; so, I decided to leave in most of the humor. Now. The real reason for this note: I will be following the idea of Uber Platform/100 Year Report down with Troy. At this point, ALL reports will be tested out in advance of offering them. SCR was the latest whose scope was envisioned on such a large scale that it became too time-consuming and if priced according to the time would have to have been priced in excess of $500. The Essence Reports started out similarly, but did finally stabilize into a do-able timeframe after doing enough of them. But, let's see what I can work out with Troy as I know the interest would be there; however, since we've just started a 100 Year Platform (well, 2000) there may not be all that much to report, too. I'll keep you all apprised. Also, when this gets posted, Maureen has some Astrology information to add in a comment, which I will insert into this about Saturn's return being about Return and in 7-year cycles (hence, the Review cycle for earthlings. (Note from Kasia: the Astrology information from Maureen is below.) Comment from Maureen: From Wikipedia: "In Astrology a Saturn return is an astrological transit that occurs when the planet Saturn returns to the same place in the sky that it occupied at moment of a person’s birth. While the planet may not reach the exact spot until the person is 29 or 30 years old, the influence of the Saturn return is considered to start in the person's late twenties, notably the age of 27. Psychologically, the first Saturn return is seen as the time of reaching full adulthood, and being faced, perhaps for the first time, with adult challenges and responsibilities. The phenomenon is described by Western astrologers as influencing a person's life development at roughly 29.5 year intervals, though the planetary influence may be felt for a few years before the exact conjunction, and variable orbits of the planets can also make the time period longer or shorter. These intervals or "returns" coincide with the approximate time it takes the planet Saturn to make one orbit around the sun, roughly 29.5 years. Western astrologers believe that, as Saturn "returns" to the degree in its orbit occupied at the time of birth, a person crosses over a major threshold and enters the next stage of life. With the first Saturn return, a person leaves youth behind and enters adulthood. With the second return, maturity. And with the third and usually final return, a person enters wise old age. These periods are estimated to occur at roughly the ages of 27-31, 56-60 and 84-90. A fourth return occurs for very few people - those who live to see the age of 114-118."
  6. OMW - Aug 18, 2012 - Honest and Accurate Self-Assessment Channel: Troy Tolley Note from Troy: This class idea came from my asking Michael about a personal assessment. I wanted to know "how I'm doing" with this life. Of course, they turned it all around on me and pointed out that they can't really do an assessment like that, not only because they have no interest in describing FOR us what we should or could be doing vs what we are doing, but they also pointed out that their entire teaching is based on having those tools for self-assessment already! So they pointed out that the Positive and Negative Poles were already a way to gauge where we are with ourselves. Still, I wanted to know if they would describe a method, then, for how to go about doing that. They didn't have to do the work, but maybe elaborate upon a method. So get your pens and paper all set. Make a list of: [this thought was never completed] Make a note of the Positive and Negative Poles for each of these next to each. Make sure you are leaving room for going back to write next to the list items. I'm going to turn the class over to Michael for the next part because I think they can explain the method much more eloquently, but also as you go through the assessment, they'll have more access to you for help with it. ******** MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here. We can help facilitate your interest in self-assessment, which is not a new practice for any of you, though these more technical methods may be. Each of you are self-assessing on levels that tend to be fairly constant. Sentience tends to be built from this capacity for self-assessment. Consciousness grows from self-assessment processes, and this evolves the Essence over lifetimes. However, a great amount of self-assessment processes are never completed until Review. Only half of the process is usually initiated, with the second half rarely completing the circuit. We use the term "self-assessment" specifically here, as this is a process of judgment of yourself on your own terms. As we have said many times, Judgment is a healthy function of Personality and consciousness, and is, in fact, vital. The fear of Judgment generates a couple of the Chief Features, but it is not Judgment that is the problem there; it is the fear of it. Judgment is natural and healthy. There is a great difference between condemnation and judgment. So this is the first thing to differentiate. Your Self-Assessment is not self-condemnation. It is a critical eye, and is, therefore also, self-criticism, but again, criticism is a healthy tool, and is not the same thing as condemnation. Most tend to pass off self-condemnation as self-assessment and this makes the process of self-assessment a tedious, exhausting, and fruitless task for your consciousness to sustain. Self-assessment is not asking "what am I doing wrong?" "what am I doing right?" "what needs to be fixed?" Self-assessment is best understood as Self-understanding. The better you understand yourself the better you can then make choices from there regarding your emotions, actions, thinking. Our system is set up so that this self-understanding is encouraged and made accessible, but we do know that even this can become a mere batch of words that once meant something and then become static. Our Teaching is alive, however, and is revived by your participation and use of it, no matter how static the meaning or words have become for you. Self-understanding and self-assessment are not static, either. One does not reach a completed point of saturation for either of these. It is on-going. Time periods, experiences, relationships, careers, etc. constantly prompt relative self-assessments. There is no end-point of enlightenment. No blissful plateau. There is always more. [GeraldineB says plaintively] . . .No Nirvana? MEntity: There are states of bliss and "nirvana," but as with any state, they are not static. After the differentiation between self-assessment and self-condemnation, the understanding for what self-assessment is would be helpful. Self-assessment is simply an understanding of your nature, qualities, and/or abilities at the moment. What you do with that information is a different thing from self-assessment. For instance, if your self-assessment reveals a state that you wish to improve upon, then that effort to improve upon it is a step beyond self-assessment. This is important to understand because self-assessment is passive. It is much like a computer doing a self-assessment to reveal its state, but what you do with that state after it is revealed is a different thing. This is important because self-assessment is not something that should be considered a matter of good or bad, right or wrong. As long as one considers self-assessment to be something that would only reveal what is wrong, then the process can tend toward self-condemnation. Self-assessment only reveals what IS. This may seem a simple idea, but as you assess yourself, understand yourself, the subtle importance of this may become more obvious. And so we will begin. First: ask yourself why you want to understand yourself right now? Turning this assessment directly back toward you as you direct this assessment can help bring that basic state of wholeness necessary for true self-assessment. We encourage you to really feel this question. It is not just an intellectual process. Self-assessment is an honesty that is often avoided or ignored or taken for granted. Bring this honesty into your awareness by meaning the question when you ask it: Why do I want to understand myself right now? [Maureen] Do you want us to tell you Michael -- or just keep it in mind? MEntity: You may share your responses, if you choose to do so. We have posed the question to Troy so that he can participate, as well. Troy's response is as revealing as your own responses may be: "because someone has to." *** Responses *** [Martha] So I can: be happier and healthier and get the most out of my life; be content and confident and find a healthy intimate relationship; accomplish the things I want – writing, being a good mother, being good at my job. So I can feel good. [Janet] I am entering a new phase of my life. I have choices to make on which directions I want to take or to plan for. [Maureen] True Acceptance (not just the words...) [GeraldineB] Hmmmmm . . .Why? Answer could be "because this workshop is being offered today," or "it's part of an ongoing process that I've been working on for sometime." In general, my "goal" is to complete this Soul Age Level all the way through the 7th IM Review, and I think this needs a regular assessment on my conscious contact with Essence. [Bobby] Well, Essence has a plan and in order for me to help fulfill that, I need to understand myself. Also, just from a Personality perspective, it helps to not feel like a leaf blowing in the wind. MEntity: We will point out here that explanations are not the same thing as answers. We do not wish to throw your responses into question, but we will ask you, for the sake of this workshop: how much of your response was an explanation that resisted or cloaked honesty, and how can your response be put into words that are a more direct, simple truth. Or is your response standing as it is? [GeraldineB] A simpler answer is "I seek the truth" MEntity: Look below the explanations to see if there is something that can be described with more honesty. That was for everyone, not in response to Geraldine's simplified answer. [GeraldineB] oh, heck, and I was feeling so special -- was looking for a one-word response ? MEntity: Self-assessment cannot be a completed circuit without honesty. And by "honesty," we mean the inclusion of all of your bodies, not just treating this as an intellectual exercise. [Martha] I want to heal the damaged or neglected parts of me MEntity: Now we are seeing honesty. We are seeing answers. [Maureen] If I can "honestly" Accept my self and others -- that would be my goal. Wait -- it IS my Goal! [StudentX] I want to like myself more [Janet] I'm looking for practical means of using the Michael teachings in everyday life. This self-assessment seems of a practical nature. MEntity: It will not be this complicated or complex in further self-assessments, but this challenge may help reveal to you how you may have been going about self-assessment over this lifetime, so far. [Janet] And I stand by my original answer. MEntity: We will leave it to each of you to determine the degree of honesty in your answers, though we did offer the initial round of challenge for the sake of the possibility that there may be more honest and direct answers. And to help point out the difference between explanations and answers. Explanations tend to be elaborate, while answers are quite simple and direct, in this case, at least. Before we continue: if any of you would like to volunteer yourself up for our feedback about your responses as we progress, we are capable of providing this, but we will not do so as interference or imposition, and it must be understood that any feedback is merely our interpretation, not a trumping conclusion. We will start, then, with your initial responses to the first question. For Troy, we would suggest his response to "why do I want to understand myself right now?" might be a bit more honest in the phrasing of "because I always feel misunderstood." These suggestions, by the way, are not to say that some need correction over others. We do not wish to imply that. We are practiced in distilling information, and we only offer up a different way of saying what you may have already said. What we will share with you today, then, is a means for using self-assessment at any point in your life, and can be used within any context. For instance, Janet's is direct and honest, but may be phrased differently as, "because I want and need to make confident choices again." or "because I want to trust myself again." Martha's is direct and honest, as well, but may be phrased differently as, "because I'm tired of thinking and feeling that I'm damaged and need healing." [Janet] That's fair. [Martha] agreed MEntity: Your feedback about our feedback is welcomed, of course. You may call us out for being completely "off." We would not take offense. [Martha] I don't think I'm totally damaged ? Just in some areas MEntity: That is "good news." StudentX's is direct and honest, but might be phrased as, "because I want to LET myself like me." She is already capable of liking herself, but may still be working out how to permit this and experience it. [StudentX] hmmm...:) [Maureen] Well -- I'm tired of "trying to Accept" -- everything -- ALL the time -- I just want to "Accept" -- I want it to be easier. MEntity: Geraldine's is honest and direct, as well, and may be phrased as, "because now I can." Maureen's is honest, though broad in implication, and might be phrased as, "because I want it to be okay with the fact that not everything or everyone is okay." [Maureen] Yes! MEntity: Combining our feedback with your own is, at least, food for thought and heart, as you proceed with your self-assessment. The next part of your self-assessment is to determine where you may be leading from in your Personality's set of Overleaves. Here are the questions that will help you determine this. One of the following questions would tend to stand out as dominant for you right now: Do I find that I am focused more on accomplishing, doing, and/or planning something? Do I find that I am more focused on trying to understand why or how I, and other people, see and experience the world right now? Do I find that I am more focused on resolving conflicts with others, keeping the peace, being intimate and available to someone, or others? You may find that each of these resonate, because they speak to the three key elements of Personality, but one should tend to be the most dominant in your awareness at the moment's assessment. *** RESPONSES *** [Martha] one [Bobby] it use to be #1 but definitely #2 currently [Maureen] #3 is the highest with #2 running second. [GeraldineB] #2 [Janet] I am uncertain. It's either ONE or TWO but I lean toward TWO. MEntity: Troy would reply that his is 2. [StudentX] #1, normally but also tend to #2 MEntity: ONE reveals that you may be leading your life from the GOAL; TWO reveals that you may be leading your life from the ATTITUDE; and THREE reveals that you may be leading your life from the MODE. Understanding from where you are leading your life can reveal to you most-precisely where the hub of your Personality is at the moment, with the rest of your Personality traits revolving around that hub. Your revolving Personality traits are fed by that hub. All energy taken in from the life is collected by that hub and funneled to the rest of Personality. [GeraldineB] Question -- Since my mode is Observation, I don't see how that would ever be the chosen method for THREE [GeraldineB] I guess that's not a question as much as a comment needing some explanation MEntity: Geraldine, if you were to have found that your relationships were the dominant focus in the life, then Observation would have been leading your Personality, feeding the rest of your Personality. It would mean that you Clarity or Surveillance are affecting your relationships. Understanding where you might be in the poles of Observation would help you to understand those relationships. Do you wish to change your response to "3?" [GeraldineB] Previously, you've said that I tend to be overly in Surveillance, and it's true, relationships aren't the most important thing to me at this time [GeraldineB] No. [GeraldineB] I'm very much in 2 [GeraldineB] I just couldn't even see how to apply Observation to the 3rd option ? MEntity: Relationships and relating are always important. One is always relating, and therefore, everyone as a Mode. One may say that relationships may not be the distraction at the moment, or not the focus, but they will always be important. Right now, there is a peaceful state for most of your relationships, so they are not the distraction, but this has not always been the case, and then Observation would have been leading. But we digress. [Maureen] actually Michael -- to me 2 and 3 are entwined. It's hard to 3 without doing 2 as well. MEntity: It would be true that none of these can be done without the others being involved. However, one would be dominant in focus. For example, if 2 is in focus, then it would be that one is focusing on understanding or dealing with differences in perspective and philosophy as a way to help 1 and 3. If 3 were in dominance, it might mean finding commonalities, resolving distance, and emphasizing resonance as a way to help 2 and 1. We will put this a different way: ONE is "leading with one's Motivations and Actions, and/or aiming to understand another's Motivations and Actions" TWO is "leading with one's Philosophies and Perspectives, and/or aiming to understand another's Philosophies and Perspectives" THREE is "leading with one's Presence and Impact, and/or aiming to understand another's Presence and Impact" Obviously, Motivation, Action, Philosophy, Perspective, Presence, and Impact cannot be isolated, but there are tendencies for emphasis. [Maureen] It sounds like whatever is dominant in your Nine Needs might be showing up here. [Maureen] ...at this time MEntity: If one is leading by the Goal, there would tend to be an emphasis on conflicts and challenges regarding what you are trying to accomplish. If one is leading by the Attitude, there would tend to be an emphasis on conflicts and challenges to how you see the world and other people. If one is leading by the Mode, there would tend to be conflicts and challenges within your relationships and realms of intimacy. We realize the differentiations may be difficult to assess, but keep in mind that this is only for the sake of helping you understand the whole of you, not to choose one over the other as a means to cut out the other two. After our elaborations, do each of you still find your emphasis to be your original choice? *** RESPONSES *** [StudentX] Definitely, #1. [Bobby] yes, 2 [Janet] At work, I am leading by the goal. Otherwise, I believe I am leading by attitude at present. I'd hope that work is not my life. I'm trying to keep work from being my primary focus anyhow. [GeraldineB] Yes, still 2 "at this time" [Martha] still 1 [Maureen] It may be more with #2 -- but I keep on getting pulled into #3 -- and I would rather be doing #1 MEntity: Janet, this is an important differentiation: those areas of the life that are necessary obligations are still important to consider, but would not be the defining factor for assessing your emphasis. [Janet] Agree, Michael, so I think I am primarily focused on #2. [Martha] I can see where I've spent a lot of time on 2 and 3, but I think 1 is in the forefront at the moment MEntity: Your emphasis is what you find yourself drawn to on your own, not what you find yourself obligated to address. For instance, one may be involved in projects at work where #1 is dominant, but underneath all of this, and persistent beyond the workplace, is the challenge of different perspectives and philosophies in emphasis. [GeraldineB] I was using the prism of my interest in TLE and the teachings as this is where my preference is showing up MEntity: There are no "right" answers in your self-assessment, and one can always assess again at another time for ever more insight, trying out different paths of assessment. The point of discerning which Overleaf is leading is to help put into context where your life is at the moment. This means that if you are having problems, troubles, obstacles, there are solutions to be found on what is determining your life right now. For instance, if Janet is looking to bring more confidence to her choices, and she has determined that Attitude is leading, then it is not about what she should or should not DO, but a matter of how she THINKS about what she is doing. If Maureen finds herself torn between the aim for emphasis on her Goal, but finds herself pulled into areas related to her MODE, but has determined that ATTITUDE is leading, then it is helpful to understand that the solutions (and problems) may be found in how she THINKS about what she is DOING and FEELING. [Maureen] that makes sense [Janet] I'm considering that. So since my attitude is Stoic, I should strive for more tranquility in what I'm thinking? MEntity: This may seem quite simplistic, but it is profound in its implications, and helps to hone directly into the heart, head, or body of where you are in your life right now. Using our associations of #1=Goal=DOING, #2=ATTITUDE=THINKING, and #3=MODE=FEELING, we suggest each of you now state your first assessment addressing the response to that first question. For example: Troy - Why do you want to understand yourself right now? "Because I feel misunderstood." Why do you feel misunderstood? "Because of what I THINK about what I am DOING and FEELING." In your own words, share your own dialog of self-assessment in a similar way, if you wish. *** RESPONSES *** [Martha] I want to do something about what I think and feel about being damaged and needing healing (and I am!) [Janet] I want to understand myself because of what (how) I think about my ability to made good choices for myself. [Martha] and I want to look honestly to see if there's something I'm missing or avoiding that could help that process [StudentX] I'm conflicted about thinking I should be "doing more", in general, and accepting that what I do is enough. [GeraldineB] Ok -- using Michael's suggestion: "Because I can now" -- in combo with "I seek the Truth" -- Using #2 Attitude/Thinking -- Truth removes the "should" from Idealism -- it allows Idealism to be "all" as in coalescence MEntity: Janet - Why do you want to understand yourself right now? "Because I want to feel confident, and trust, in my choices again." Why do you not feel confidence and trust in your choices right now? "Because of what I THINK about what I am DOING and FEELING." [Janet] Okay I'll buy that MEntity: We are not looking for answers, yet. Just assessments. [GeraldineB] hmmm . . .my brain's cat's cradle has knots in it MEntity: Geraldine - Why do you want to understand yourself right now? "Because I can." Why can you now? "Because of what I THINK about what I'm DOING and FEELING." These examples should help you to streamline your assessment to this point, then. [GeraldineB narrows her eyes at Michael] -- that seems like some philsophical circle thinking [Bobby] you did suggest # 2 lol [Janet] I have to admit to some skepticism as well Geraldine, but I'm waiting for the application of the assessment. [Janet] But of course I may be THINKING about it all too much. ? [GeraldineB] LOL -- Obviously, I am too [GeraldineB] so, let's keep on going ? MEntity: We will address the confusion or "skepticism" here, before continuing. There is no circular philosophy here. It matters what you think about what you do and feel. It matters what you do about what you think and feel. It matters what you feel about what you do, or think. At various points in the life, one matters more than the others, or dominates and leads more than the others. Whatever dominates, defines the others. If you think your actions and feelings are useless, pointless, and making no difference, that is very different from thinking your actions and feelings are useful, purposeful, and make a difference. If you do not do anything with or about your feelings and thoughts, this is very different from doing something about and with your feelings and thoughts. [GeraldineB] Ok -- I get that -- makes sense MEntity: If your feelings about what you do and think are apathetic, frustrated, or angry, this is very different from the feelings of enthusiasm, eagerness, and excitement. Geraldine, what you THINK NOW makes a big difference in why you "can understand" more now. There was a time when what you thought actually kept you from being able to understand yourself and others. [GeraldineB] I totally agree with that -- I do understand that perception [GeraldineB] I've really been working on imprinting and conditioning MEntity: Janet, there have been other times in your life where the question of what to do was not so much of concern, because there were parameters in place that took the place of having to really "think" about how you felt or what you were "doing." [Janet] This is true. My lack of confidence now I think is associated with how wide open my choices may be. MEntity: As your consciousness has grown, so has your self-consciousness, and parameters are far more inclusive of what is important to you, not just what you should or can do. It is now not just a matter of CHOICE, but a matter of what you THINK about what you are choosing. [Janet] Agreed. I think I see where you're going now. MEntity: "Think," being key. [Janet] lol. It's a common verb for me. MEntity: Now, look to the Overleaf that is specific to this assessment. Each of you can now share that Overleaf that is relative to the leading Goal, Attitude, or Mode. *** RESPONSES *** [StudentX] Growth. [GeraldineB] Attitude - Idealism (sliding to Skepticism regularly) [Janet] Attitude is Stoic [Bobby] Pragmatist [Maureen] Realist [Martha] Flow MEntity: Keeping in mind that the aim is assessment, not solution (just yet), it may be clear to you where you are in your Doing, Thinking, or Feeling right now. Do not consider where you "slide." For StudentX: Is your DOING in Confusion, or is it Evolving? For Geraldine: is your THINKING in Naivety, or in Coalescence? For Janet: is your Thinking Resigned, or Tranquil? and so on. [Janet] My thinking is rarely resigned but not always tranquil. [StudentX] I believe that I strive a lot. [GeraldineB] My thinking is in coalescence [Martha] I don't think I'm in inertia [StudentX] Striving is growing. MEntity: Some Poles may need elaboration for clarity. We will offer some feedback. [StudentX] or evolving. [Martha] I think I need more on "suspension" MEntity: For instance, "resigned" in this context does not mean that you have stopped thinking, but rather that your Thoughts may have you resigned from the process of choice, instead of having you peaceful and tranquil about it. [Martha] Barbara's Taylor's chart says "free-flowing" for the pos pole of Flow, but I have "suspension" on my spreadsheet MEntity: Geraldine, it is true that your Thinking now tends to put the pieces together that allow you to understand much better now, but when you cannot understand, it can be because of naivety, which is when the pieces were expected to come together in a way that is failed or disappointed. [GeraldineB] yes -- a lifelong "work in progress" -- getting better MEntity: Martha, we find the more meaningful terms for the Poles of Flow to be Freedom and Inertia, or Momentum. [Martha] OK, I like those better [Martha] I can see where Momentum applies better than Inertia MEntity: The difference being: Freedom is much like having a paddle for the boat that is moving with the flow of life, as there may not be much that can be done about that flow, but the steering is all your choice. Inertia, or Momentum, is being without the paddle, forced to a narrow trajectory, or using the paddle to try to go against that flow. For the most part, this process of self-assessment can be quick and easy at any point in the life, and will often tend to lead to a realization of patterns in your tendencies for challenges and solutions. Again, this assessment is not for anything other than grabbing a quick snapshot of where you are with yourself. By now, in this practice of assessment, one would have been able to determine the motivation for the quick assessment and the basic context of the life or circumstance at the moment of assessment. Understanding yourself in this way can then help you to make more conscious choices regarding where you are, where you want to go, what you want to do, be, feel, etc. It can also free you from self-condemnation, and free you from the fear of judgments. For example: If Janet wants to understand herself because she wants to return to a sense of confidence in her choices, and reveals that the strength and weakness in her confidence is being dominated by her THINKING, Intellect, and current Philosophy, which is within the spectrum of her Attitude between Tranquility and Resignation, she now knows enough about herself to make more conscious (and confident) choices. What she does with this assessment is her choice, but she might realize that she has only resigned from her strength of confidence and trust in her choices, and and that it might just be time to surrender to, or find Tranquility in, the same trust and confidence that has always served her so well. Your assessment is not an answer or solution, but a basis for finding your answer or solution, if one is wanted or needed. If StudentX wants to understand herself because she wants to let herself like herself more, and she has assessed that it is what she is DOING that is leading her life right now, and that her Doing is either leading her into Confusion, or Evolving her, she can then pay more attention to what she is already DOING, or needs to do, as a means to support her permission to like herself more. Are each of you putting all of this together in a way that is useful and meaningful? [Maureen] yes [Martha] yes [StudentX] Yes [GeraldineB] Yes, very useful -- trying to reword it so I might pass it on [Janet] Is a possible solution -- to switch focus from thinking to doing or feeling or from doing to thinking or feeling -- as a way to move forward, if that seems appropriate to the situation? MEntity: All of what we share tends to be simple equations, even if elaborated upon in words, and "plugging in" the key elements can bring each of you to your own understanding, assessment, and solutions. Janet, for the purposes of Self-assessment, you want to understand what you are already using, or leading the life through, and this tends to be where the strength lies, even if it is also the source of weakness at the moment, however, it will always be important to flank that with the other two. If you are already leading the life by what you think about what you are doing or feeling, then shifting the emphasis to the doing will not change what you think about what you are doing. [Janet] I tend toward thinking always, which leads me to ask if our tendency is tied to our centering. I believe I am intellectually centered. MEntity: However, the key here would be that when you take action, or DO, that you actively choose what to THINK about that. [Janet] You have given a lot to think about today! ? MEntity: For instance, you may not know what is beyond the choices that must be made in the near future, but you know from experience that you CAN make those choices, and that is an important part of what you THINK about making choices. One's Centering and Part do tend to help bring the corresponding Overleaf into lead for the life. There are other rounds and paths of self-assessment that can be done, and we will share these over time. The one we shared today is the most immediately effective and far-reaching in its impact, if one were to truly comprehend and apply its beautiful simplicity. We will conclude here for today. Good day to each of you.
  7. ENERGY REPORT September 2010 September marks the final month of emphasis on the Attitude aspect of the year, with this year’s Attitude being SPIRITUALIST. As we have covered the meaning of this Attitude in July and August’s Reports, we will not review that here. Instead, we will point out that within the context of this Attitude, there may be a kind of internal pressure to “catch up” with oneself, to “get back on track,” to start what one has put off, and to “get serious” about things not taken seriously. We would describe September as a month of “review and recovery.” As October nears, the emphasis shifts from the Attitude, which describes personal philosophies and how one interprets experiences of the world, to an emphasis on the Chief Negative Feature for the year, which describes the basic fear for the year among the masses. The Chief Negative Feature this year appears to be Arrogance/Self-deprecation, which share the Axis of Inspiration. We will elaborate upon these fears in October’s report. In September of each year, usually just before the shift into the “season” of Chief Negative Feature, there is a close examination of both the general Attitude of the year, and one’s own Overleaf Attitude that may or may not be the same as the year’s. For those who may feel they are not quite on track with their intentions for the year, this examination is usually experienced as a quiet background assessment, or a subtle review, and for others it is a kind of important pause that does not break momentum. For those who have stayed on track to their satisfaction, and if life is looking “okay,” then it is usually experienced as an acceleration and enthusiasm for the potential of the immediate future. For those who are processing a review, it will most likely feel like a simple checks and balances listing of comparisons, with a look at what IS and what IS NOT in terms of intentions for the year, followed by a sense of importance to focus. This sense of importance for focus is linked to the Chief Features that are on the horizon for emphasis from October through December, which are Self-deprecation and Arrogance, both having to do with protecting one’s sense of BEING. Self-deprecation deals with Not Being Enough, while Arrogance is about Being Too Much, and both are about one’s Self-Esteem. In that light, this September is about looking back at the year and assessing where one is with one’s self in terms of fulfilling intentions, and finding that fulfillment or lack thereof is directly linked to how one feels about oneself. What one might find is that these intentions have been fulfilled, but at the expense of certain other areas, things, or relationships in the life, and this is directly linked to the potential amplification of Arrogance in the months ahead because it is realized that one has become self-absorbed and tunnel-visioned in certain areas while neglecting other areas. If that is the case, this person might begin to see those parts of the life calling out for attention, or feeling a distraction to return to tending to those parts of the life. For these people, it means that September could become the month that helps bring a balance back to the life in a way that allows for them to catch up with the parts of the life that have gone neglected, and this would mean that the end of the year would most likely unfold as a rather celebratory and joyful closure to the year. However, if this realization of neglect is met with regret or defensiveness, it would mean that the end of the year might be met with those areas, things, or relationships of the life falling completely out of focus, or moving into states of contention, or becoming extreme forces of distraction that one may then feel threatened by. The rest of the year would then be mixed up with various inner and outer battles regarding how to either protect against the losses that have come from such tunnel-vision, or how to repair and heal those neglected areas, things, and relationships. What others may find is that the intentions have not been fulfilled, and that the year is not turning out as expected, which will directly ignite the issues of Self-deprecation in the months ahead, having realized that energies and focus has been scattered among far too many directions, touching each, but fulfilling none. This might then leave one feeling as if one has fallen short everywhere, failed several intentions, has not lived up to one’s own, or others’ standards, and may even find several areas, things, and/or relationships pointing out these failures, disappointments, and frustrations. The rest of the year would then be mixed with various inner and outer battles regarding how to make up for these failures, disappointments, and frustrations, and how to either defend against the pain of that, or how to repair and heal at least the priorities. For those who feel that life is okay, on track, and this quick assessment period is showing fairly acceptable results about the year passed, then September would simply fall into a sense of acceleration into the enthusiasm for the upcoming holiday seasons. Helpful thoughts over SEPTEMBER might be: 1) NOW, I KNOW. AND THAT’S A GOOD THING. Just because you are now realizing what or who was neglected, or how you may have fallen short, does not mean you are condemned, but that you are now aware. And that is a good thing. Awareness is information for you use for your life, not against it. 2) CALIBRATION IS CELEBRATION. Catching up with yourself, your life, and/or your relationships is a form of calibration, or recalibration, and is cause for celebration, not condemnation. Those phrases might be helpful for bringing one back to the point of such evaluations and assessments during the life, so that one can use the information in a productive and fulfilling way, instead of as a means to punish, defend, or condemn. September does not have any particular dates of note.
  8. OMW - Dec 21, 2013 - What I Learned in 2013 [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. We understand the request is for a review of your past year. [GeraldineB] with the inclusion of "What I learned" [Martha] Hello Michael [MEntity] We can approach this subject any number of ways, but with the emphasis on "what I learned," we have a couple of suggestions for how to go about this review today. [GeraldineB] sounds good [MEntity] We know that we can look to specific instances that you may wish to explore, but to truly grasp what was learned, it can be helpful to explore just how your Overleaves operated over the year, and how they were challenged, supported, and to which pole one tended to lean. YEAR ROLE OF SAGE In a year that was threaded with the energy of Sage, you would want to look at these 7 elements that would tend to be prompted as part of any attempts to learn during the year: ONE - what efforts did you make to bring into your awareness the recognition of innocence in yourself and others? TWO - what efforts did you make to bring levity to your struggles and challenges? THREE - what did you do to bring honesty to your communication? FOUR - what did you do to truly communicate (listen, as well as express)? FIVE - what efforts did you make to own the responsibility of your influence on others who may be affected by how and what you express? SIX - what did you do to play? SEVEN - what truths did you face? In asking these questions of yourself, you will see just how much of your year was about these elements as a thread or undercurrent through nearly everything? Before we move on, how do you feel about these questions in terms of their relevance to your past year? [GeraldineB] all have been highly relevant to me [Janet] I feel I generally had a good year and learned a lot based on these elements [GeraldineB] oddly enough, this is the first time I used the filter of innocence as a conscious attribute [ViP1] I feel that I've seen these elements being present, and may have applied them around 50 percent on average - I felt like I was beginning to become aware of how to bring consciousness to these things over the past year [Martha] I'm not concentrating well today, but most of those sound Sagey to this Sage, for sure, and good points to look at. [Martha] And I definitely can see where I worked on some of those [ViP1] I think I could have let myself do better at the "let myself play", but it wasn't the best year that I've had for that [Maureen] Yes -- I feel after your comments that I may have had quite a delightful year...and I got more "done" than I realized. [Martha] #5 is one I did take a hard look at recently (thank you Troy) [Maureen] A truth I face is there is a Part of me that doesn't want me to "play" -- it wants me to "work". [Maureen] ....but I do anyway. ;) [MEntity] Keep in mind that these questions are not to ask of you if you had a "good" year, or a failed year, or a successful year. These questions are to ask of you which of these elements may have stood out with emphasis, which ones seemed prominent, new, familiar, most challenging, most neglected, etc. [Janet] Some of these elements I feel are inherent to me. Probably FIVE owning my responsibility and SEVEN facing truths were prominent. [MEntity] In terms of what you learned, this list of questions will help you to see the most basic underpinning of the past year's overall "point." [Martha] Based on recent events, I think wrapping up some self destructive elements has been one of the points for me [MEntity] The questions that bring up the most obvious in terms of emphasis, either in conscious priority, or seeming demand on you, would tend to be "what you learned" in the past year. [Martha] as well as looking hard at #4 and #5 [ViP1] I'd say 2 and 6 were neglected for me - 3, 5 and 7 I thought were emphasized more [MEntity] Those areas of neglect do not mean something was missed. You would have emphasized those if there were any interest. So it is those that were of priority to you, or of priority because of demand upon you. [GeraldineB] Accepting the concept of innocence and actively applying it seems to have been what I learned most -- the other elements were already in place [MEntity] For those whose Role (or Casting) is the same as the year, there can tend to be a great familiarity with the energy that threads through the year, but there would tend to be some kind of emphasis on blind spots for that Role, then. Now, bring in your own Role to the mix. The same questions would apply, but in light of your own Role (particularly if different from Sage). In other words, AS A PRIEST, what did you learn is playful to the Priest? What did you learn is the truth about being a Priest? How did you find that you communicate as a Priest? And so forth. [GeraldineB] As sage-casted Sage, I think the reason I resonate with all of those items is that they describe me at this time in my life [MEntity] That would make sense, as you are Manifesting Essence nearly full-time now. Or rather, as often as is relevant and meaningful. In terms of the year and its "lessons," this is the broadest and greatest context with which to assess. [Janet] All of these elements seem to have an impact on me as an Artisan, but the focus of each changes with new experiences. Does completion of the 5th IM mean that we would generally have a different view of these elements than pre-5th? They all seem somewhat natural to me. [MEntity] Play with these questions more over the next few days to see what other ways they might be meaningful and relevant, both in terms of general themes, but also in terms of your own Role as it explored those themes. [GeraldineB] Michael, if you have anything to offer about Troy throughout this session, please do so. He needs these reviews as much as we do [MEntity] If an Internal Monad was completed in this year, this would mean that the themes of the current year would have tended to be relevant to what was necessary for that completion. [Maureen] Michael -- I feel like I was "solidly" in all the 7 Elements. Some days I think I make a better Sage than a Priest. [Maureen] That was a joke -- but there's a lot of truth in it for me. [GeraldineB laughs, well, Maureen . . .I think you could work a bit more on "innocence" :) [Maureen] LOL [Maureen] Actually -- I see the Innocence -- I just don't choose to "act on it" at times. [MEntity] This last exchange is an important prompt for us to remind you that because of your differences in Role, the ease with which these elements come to you are entirely different. For example, the Priest must struggle to see the innocence in others. It is often a useless term to a Priest, whereas the Sage must learn to be more discriminating and refined in how and where to draw the line between innocence and abuse/exploitation. [Martha] oh yeah [GeraldineB] good point [Janet] Whereas for the Artisan it might be a struggle to even see the others, much less whether or not there is innocence? [MEntity] Janet, that is valid. [Martha] would that apply to all I went through with my cat? It took what some people considered an extreme amount of abuse before I could give up on him. [MEntity] Not really. Non-sentient animals are not abusive. There is no intent to harm for benefit, only as defense. [Martha] Oh, I get that. I could still see his beautiful self in there. I know he wasn't trying to be mean. [ViP1] if it would not be digressing, Michael, could you say a little more about this? "For example, the Priest must struggle to see the innocence in others. It is often a useless term to a Priest" [MEntity] The reason the Priest has a harder time with innocence being upheld is because the idea of innocence often equates "excuses," or unaccountability. There is a high standard of accountability in most Priests, particularly after the mid-Mature Levels. [ViP1] I see - when combined with the idea of applying concepts to "self" at Old soul age, that especially sounds familiar [Maureen] Yes -- "Once you see the Truth, Do the Work" [Maureen] [that just popped into my head] [MEntity] The reason that Sages find innocence to be a more natural perspective is because they have counted on that factor in themselves for so long as a way to maneuver through struggles, sometimes in ways that excuse responsibility, and eventually as a standard for honesty. YEAR GOAL OF FLOW To move on to more specific exploration of your year, we would move on to the Goal. In a year that is a Goal of Flow, the combination with your own Goal can be easier to explore. What you would want to ask yourselves is how you managed the navigation between CHOICE and ALLOWANCE in the past year, particularly in terms of how you went about your navigation of events in the past year. There are some events that require your choices as part of your navigation, and some events that require your allowance. This is the difference between knowing when you can control a situation, and when you must simply steer through it. This is what you were learning in the past year. [Janet] That is an interesting question since my goal is Dominance, but I am also a Stoic so ALLOWANCE also seems to be a struggle between Resignation and Tranquility. [MEntity] There are two points to address there, Janet. One is that your Goal, then, is about knowing when and how to lead, how and when to stand as an example, and in a year of Flow, this would mean knowing when and how to lead and represent either steering through forces greater than you, or when and how to relax against the strain of trying to sustain control. The other is that Resignation is a refusal, a giving up, and relinquishing of power, whereas Tranquility is an embrace of a force greater than you as a way to come back to one's center. [Janet] I understand this now Michael. But I had not made these connections with the yearly over leaves until you presented this material. [MEntity] That is why a walkthrough together can be helpful. Together, as in, with others as a means to have more input and perspective. In terms of the Mode of the year, how present do you feel you were to those with whom you are relating, exploring intimacy, working on projects, etc. Did you learn that your presence matters? Did you learn that your helping another to honor the impact of his or her presence made a difference? Those are the themes that would be in effect in your relationships. In terms of the Attitude, did you find that you were able to uphold an ideal, a vision, a dream for fulfillment? Did you find that you were demanding fulfillment without doing the work of the steps? Did you find that there are no short cuts? That you must "do the work?" These may seem like questions that would be valid in any year, and they would be, but in particular to this year, these would be quite insightful for extracting and clarifying just what you learned in the past year. This means from EVERYTHING, not just in general, but from all of your experiences. [Martha] We've had an influx of excited newbies on TLE lately, but some just seem to NOT want to "do the work" [MEntity] We wish to note, as well, that the list of Overleaves we have worked through are from the greatest, broadest context, down to the most tangible and specific. [Maureen] You sound like a Priest Martha... ;) [Martha] Well, they've been very loud about it! [Maureen] [that was a joke...] [GeraldineB] Not everyone knows "how" to do the work -- they think learning the theory is enough [Martha] Or mapping the theory [Maureen] LOL [MEntity] Martha, that is not necessarily valid. Many of the fragments we have seen arrive are new to their Agreements with us, and therefore new to the concept of such "work." To begin studies with us is to begin that process of realization that there is work to do that cannot be done passively. [Martha] So, more "growing pains" then refusal? [Martha] I can see that [Janet] Learning what Michael teaches is different now than when many of us started. There is far more than a single book. It must be overwhelming for those that are new. [Martha] Oh, yes! [Martha] We had to take our little dribbles of info as we could find them. Now, there is a flood. [GeraldineB] When you say new to agreements, Michael, do you mean this is their first lifetime working with you? [Maureen] Well it was "Flow" this year. :) [MEntity] The amount of access to us, or the amount of information available, has no bearing on this. It is a matter of individual consciousness. Some come to the realization that there is work to do, and some come to the realization that they prefer not to do that work. This is how we meet with and secure Agreements with our students. [ViP1] actually I've made a conscious decision to take a break from frequent sessions with Michael and let myself live with what i've learned for a bit, so I can try to apply it instead of most of it remaining theoretical [ViP1] not sure how long that break will last, probably not as long as I think :-) [MEntity] In addition to this, when a new wave of students arrive among those who are already secured as our students, the validity of just what has been learned, and how that is being integrated and applied, comes to light for the older students. [Janet] I definitely can understand that. [MEntity] VIP, the time and experience relevant for integration and application is valid, but the distancing or separation from the teacher is not necessary unless there is an unhealthy exploitation of the teacher as a means of escape. [ViP1] I think there was at one point (and I said as much to Troy once), but not any more [ViP1] it's more that I feel I've gotten to a point where I can't absorb any more new information without trying to put what I already have into real application - then I think that will generate new directions of interest [MEntity] We would describe it as a dependency that turned into a trust, not as an exploitive escape. [ViP1] but I do plan to check in regularly, of course [ViP1] thanks - there I go being hard/accountable on myself again :-) where is the innocence in me!! [MEntity] We are not discouraging your choices, but simply helping to clarify them. [ViP1] that does help and put a more inclusive perspective on it, I'll certainly remember that [Janet] I am wondering if Michael would like to comment on how well (or not) our TLE community handled the most recent situation with the new student who caused an uproar and left after numerous disagreements. I feel an effort was made to apply what we've learned. Is that the case? [MEntity] To respond to Janet: we think the community displayed tremendous application of our teaching, ranging in spectrum from benefit of the doubt to having to own one's limitations. Allowing others the benefit of the doubt may seem obvious as a means to display the effects of a beneficial teaching, but owning one's limitations and boundaries can be much more difficult to do, and to see as a benefit from a teaching. Owning one's limitations and boundaries is very different from defending or justifying them. The most tangible, and the most specific of what was learned over the course of 2013, then, would be relevant to how you may have been convinced that your worthiness and value were dependent upon Sacrifice, at best, and on Suicide, or rejection of a life force, at worst, presuming that the self was not worth the life force being wasted on it. The idea that sacrifice is necessary for the value of something to be increased, is a defense against the fear of unworthiness. Or put another way, that sacrifice somehow adds value. How often did you find your sense of value because of the sense that you are sacrificing something? How often did you find that the sense of value of someone else was dependent upon his or her displaying sacrifice? [Martha] I feel like I sacrificed my peace of mind and sense of safety all year with my poor cat, but did that somehow add value in that sense? Yes, it made me feel like I was doing what a good, loving pet owner "should" be doing, to try my hardest with him, but I didn't feel like it was an ego trip. But would this qualify as Self destruction in action? [MEntity] To respond to Martha, yes, there was sacrifice, but not along the way; only in the end. By this we mean that the path was one of value for life, and that one was not more valuable than another. However, in the end, there was a retroactive interpretation of your actions as "sacrifice" so that your choice could be upheld as justified and noble. That is when the defense came. [Martha] I don't feel noble, but I couldn't live with a wildly unpredictable cat any more. [MEntity] However, as the defense wears off, you will know that you sacrificed nothing. You chose to give the best chance to a life that you deemed as being as worthy as your own. [Martha] and I had no humane alternative [MEntity] You did the same in giving birth. Both have come with their problems. Both have come with their toll. [Martha] laughing through my tears here [Martha] Can I request the cat hive send me an easier friend next time? :D [MEntity] But what you learned this year is that there is/was no sacrifice. Only choice. Allowance. Until your space is free from internal and external chaos, there would still be an effect on a companion animal. [Martha] I'm in no rush to get another MESSAGES FROM MICHAEL [MEntity] We have offered you a broad range of questions that are deceptively simplistic for your use in assessing your year in terms of what you have learned. Spend some time with these questions and What we will do now is offer each of you a quick phrase to help you in your assessment. What we offer here would be placed alongside your own assessments and phrasing for other things learned. Consider these suggestions as examples, but not definitive. GERALDINE: what we see you have learned is THAT IT IS ALL WORTH IT. This can be interpreted in several ways, in several contexts, but it is a valid phrase to capture the range of what was learned. So much is now included in what was "worth it." [GeraldineB] yes, I can see that [MEntity] JANET: what we see you having learned is that I AM NOT DEAD; I AM NOT DYING. We would have liked to use the phrase, "I am still alive," but that is not as to the point. The first phrases describe the internal and external struggle to assert oneself as accepting the continuation of life (and all that the term "life" implies.) [Janet] Wow. That's a lot to ponder. [MEntity] So much of this past year was your about your ownership of your creative forces that are often subtle, but vital. [Janet] That part I can understand. [MEntity] MARTHA: we see what you have learned as being I CAN DO THIS. The past year was themed in taking on challenges that were far "over your head," dependent upon patience, endurance, persistence, optimism, and possibility. So much of this past year was about owning your confidence in your choices, even if your actions were shaky. [Martha] Shaky? [MEntity] Yes: uncertain; not always able to be implemented ideally; requiring you to negotiate, to return to them, etc. [Martha] Oh, yes, I see that [MEntity] MAUREEN: your past year would appear to have brought great learning about: I'M ONLY HUMAN. This was a year that emphasized your blind spots, your trigger points, your necessity for pleasures, intimacy, your limits to compassion, and your humanity. [Maureen] That sounds right. :) [MEntity] The trajectory toward cycling off can be daunting, so there can come a shift in gears toward reminding oneself of the best and worst of being Human. This past year has been an exploration of those things, as painlessly as possible. This "best and worst" of being Human was not only in terms of your person, but in terms of how others exemplify this. [Maureen] Thanks Michael, I love you too. [MEntity] Ironically, this past year helped to build what will most likely be one of your most compassionate years alive as 2014 comes into full swing. [Maureen] I'm looking forward to that. :) [MEntity] VIP, we might describe your past year as having learned: I WAS ALWAYS FREE. This was a year of ownership for your position among others, your position of power, your position of choice, your acceptance of your depths for love and patience, and your recalibrating your sense of direction to own all of this. So much of your past year was not about breaking free, but about knowing what free means and is and what it looks like. [ViP1] you got it [ViP1] i feel "free" expanding mentally by the minute literally since I've been sitting here during the afternoon [MEntity] We would say to Troy that he has learned: THIS IS WHY I LIVED. This is not to describe some end result or reward for the life lived, but to describe the ownership of just what he has created with his choices over the lifetime. This channel has overcome death and abuses to the life in a way that make it hard to understand why he lives, if looked at in terms of rewards or end results. But when the life is looked at in terms of cumulative effects of choice, it is about the path, not the destination. Good evening to each of you. We know that far more has been learned than we can summarize, and we know that far more will be learned even beyond your assessments, but it is Good Work to look back on a block of time and consider how you might extract the best from it. Goodbye.

    Ask Michael - April 5, 2015

Ask Michael Live Chat April 5, 2015 Channel: Troy Tolley Kurtis: Hi Michael, today i'd like to continue with the Idealist in a social situation. I especially liked your additions of "What did you expect" and other such phrases last time, so if you can include those I'd appreciate. Kurtis: The phrases were in the response to the Realist question btw, just to jog your memory MEntity: The Idealist in social situations is constantly measuring against an ideal. Both the self and others are being assessed, sized up, compared, measured, and calculated in ways that can be mind-boggling to those not an Idealist. Idealists can be of the most clearly and strongly-opinionated of the Attitudes, with some of the strongest arguments in support of those opinions and perspectives. MEntity: Idealists can tend to read the languages of your body in ways that go far beyond the use of your words. Idealists will often respond more to what was not said than to what was said, because Idealists can see/hear beyond the facades or measured responses. MEntity: Idealists are so prone to looking beyond what IS and into the projected patterns from what is, that they can sometimes be out of sync with the experiences of others around them. In other words, while others may see/hear exactly what is being said/shown, the Idealist is accessing dimensions that extend from there. MEntity: In the Positive Pole, there is Coalescence. This is the pulling together of the necessary parts that fulfill the ideal or the assessed pattern. MEntity: This means that the Positive Idealist may compare, measure, assess, and predict accurate patterns, but always remembers that there is more. There will always be more. This Idealist may be very clear and accurate in her understanding of the self or another person, but always makes room for variables. MEntity: The Positive Idealist is not conclusive. MEntity: This lack of conclusivity and room for variables is also what makes them of the most Naive, the Negative Pole. MEntity: Idealists will often "see the best" in you, in herself, even as there is neglect, abuse, and pain. MEntity: Idealists can, also, hold you or the self to a standard of expectation that is often unmatched, leading to another version of Naivety that is constantly pitting you against what SHOULD be. MEntity: So Naivety can show up here as the inability to discern what further parts might be necessary for fulfilling an ideal, or show up as the inability to see that there are no further parts so the ideal cannot be fulfilled. MEntity: Idealists will always tend to challenge your resting place for what is expected of yourself, themselves, and others. MEntity: As usual, there is always more to explore in these topic-length questions, but this can be added to the explorations. Janet: I believe you have said that after death the personality experiences -- for awhile at least -- whatever that personality expected to experience after death. So, for instance, if they believed there was no life after death, they would experience nothingness until they finally woke up and realized that there was something there after all. Janet: I am wondering about people whose personalities are more or less gone well before death. Those with Alzheimer’s, for instance, don’t show any trace of the beliefs the personality had before losing touch with reality, but of course it’s hard to tell what they actually believe when they are lost to the condition. Janet: Do those with Alzheimer’s or dementia experience their personality’s core beliefs after death? Or maybe even before death? Or do they become more in touch with the truth about what happens after death due to what I assume is more astral activity after the personality loses touch with physical reality? MEntity: Janet, many who die experience a very different death from what was expected, even if they professed to know what to expect. Death brings the truth to the surface. Many Personalities cloak their inability to comprehend death by embracing others' stories of death, or ignoring it, or distracting themselves. So even if someone professes to believe in a heaven after death, this heaven is not necessarily what is experienced because the Personality did not truly believe there is a heaven. Or a hell, for that matter. But it is true that when the Personality is truly invested in and believes in an after-death expectation, it is generated and experienced. MEntity: The after-death reality is as varied as cities in the Physical Plane, so the Astral is populated with "cities" dedicated to the more sustained versions of after-life. There even variations on themes, so that there are multiple "heavens" and "hells" to accommodate. They remain a hoot to visit. MEntity: As for those who disconnect from a life over a greater length of time, the realization and waking up is less about the after-life, but about the current life. MEntity: The etheric body loses its anchor in time, and is free to explore within the timeline of that lifetime. MEntity: Review tends to be the theme for most, as the life is replayed, revisited, and recreated. MEntity: This can leave the Body as an anchor point in time that is, quite literally, hosting for the Personality as it existed throughout the life. MEntity: All sub-personalities are freed. MEntity: It is both chaotic and beautiful, but "death" is not experienced until the body is no longer breathing. MEntity: As long as the body is breathing, or "alive," the Personality is, too. MEntity: Though the Personality is not anchored in time, it is processing the life, not the death. GeraldineB: This is from Brian: I'd like some basic level information on how can we recognize and stop thinking of things in terms of "black and white" / polarized thinking? MEntity: First, it is fairly impossible not to think in terms of "black and white," as duality is natural and helpful. We describe polarities for this reason. However, one way to help keep one from locking into one or the other is to always remember that one is inclusive of the other. There will always be one part of a duality that is inclusive of the more exclusive part. "White" is the presence all color, whereas "black" is the absence of color. However, it could be said that there is nothing inherently "wrong" with black or white, only differences in function or nature. MEntity: White reflects, and Black absorbs. Positive reflects, and Negative absorbs. Love remembers and Fear forgets. MEntity: So thinking in polarities is not the problem. It is when one does NOT think in polarities that the problems come. MEntity: In other words, if one thinks that one should only aim for light, then shadows will be terrifying. If one thinks that there are only shadows, then one cannot see. MEntity: If black is consuming your life, you are merely forgetting about what is reflecting, what is present, and what is color. If one only thinks that white is pure, then he is forgetting that white cannot exist as itself. It is a higher sum from the parts. MEntity: So when you feel as if you are thinking only terms of black and white, or polarized, remember that it is not the polarity that is the problem, it is that the polarity now presents you with the responsibility of CHOICE. MEntity: Choice is the color between the extremes of black and white. ViP: Do the body types influence how Centering operates, or vice-versa? For example, if a person has a passive/negative Nature body type, does that influence the types of forms or feelings that are generated from the Part of the Center that one habitually operates from? This was just to illustrate one possible example, but any more general explanation would be great as well. MEntity: Yes, there are some consistent correlations to consider, but they are only for consideration, not presented as rules: MEntity: Martial and Venusian TEND to require and generate TANGIBLE effects from the processes of their Centering, regardless of the Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of affection, touch, and seeing/feeling the impact of their presence. MEntity: Mercury/Jovial TEND to require and generate FEEDBACK from the processes of their Centering, regardless of Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of conversation, expression, and exchange of ideas. ViP: Are these in terms of these body types as Nature, or just based on which body type is Primary/highest percentage? MEntity: Lunar/Saturn TEND to require and generate ALLIANCE from the processes of their Centering, regardless of Centering/Part. They tend toward the benefit of mutual interests, raw honesty, and consistency. MEntity: All of the above are in terms of the Body Type that dominates, regardless of Nature, Appearance, or Health. MEntity: However, there will always be a mix. MEntity: The above are tendencies as described in very simplistic and short paragraphs, but you may be able to see the validity that can lead to more detailed exploration. Luciana: "Could you explain the potential reasons for unjustified fears in life, such as a fear of dogs despite not having been attacked or bitten by one?" MEntity: We cannot explain them with one explanation, no. We can suggest that phobias are often symbolic of deeper issues, or speak to imprinted ideas that have origins that are forgotten. Many phobias are as simple as having heard a loud sound at the same time as the object of phobia being presented for the first time. For instance, many who fear buttons do so because of the experience of MEntity: rushed buttoning of clothes while toddlers or younger. Many who are afraid of dogs when one has no obvious cause for it are afraid because a parent was afraid. These instances can register and remain intact as indications of threat, even as there is no threat. Many fear snakes, not because they have been threatened by snakes, but because "everyone" is afraid of snakes. MEntity: Some phobias are inherent in the Instinctive Center and activated by those around the individual through imprinting. Some phobias are taught. Some are deeply symbolic. Some are not relevant to the object of phobia at all, but the object just happens to work. For example, if someone has a fear of intimacy that is repressed, he might redirect this as an allergy to cats, denying his fear of intimacy. MEntity: Many who are afraid of dogs are afraid of people. MEntity: Dogs become the focus of that fear. MEntity: A distrust in people translates into this phobia for dogs. MEntity: One must deal with people on a regular basis, so the fear is repressed to a great degree and redirects toward "man's best friend," since this can quite easily play out the actual fears and distrust of "being bitten" by people. MEntity: This is because dogs have come to regarded as extensions of people. MEntity: It is then "safer" to fear dogs and to navigate around them than it is to cripple oneself to the fears and distrust of all people. MEntity: Some phobias come up because of triggers that resonate with past lives, of course, when that which is feared is somehow linked to harm or death that went unresolved. However, it will still be true that this is relevant to issues in the current life. Experiences from Past lives are not imposed on a life, but they can be activated by the current life. MEntity: The above are some broad examples to help understand the nature of phobias.

    Ask Michael - April 3, 2016

Ask Michael - April 3, 2016 Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. We will begin with ViP VIP: Hi Michael. VIP: I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but do body types have positive and negative poles, and if so, do they vary according to whether the type is present as Nature, Appearance or Body? VIP: And, if so, could you choose one and give a brief description of its positive and negative pole as an example? Yes, Body Types have Positive and Negative Poles. An example could be LUNAR with a Positive Pole of Luminous and a Negative Pole of Pallid regarding Appearance, with Nature having Unattached as a Positive Pole and Childish as a Negative Pole, and Health as Sensitive in the Positive Pole and Resignation as Negative Pole. We will relay this to Troy so that a comprehensive listing can be added to your library. VIP: Ok, thank you Michael! Next, Daniela. DanielaS: Hi Michael. The March Energy Report said that on March 19 there would be a (mini) Nexus - Divergence: "This looks to be a minor shift that may be related to events generated by a high-profile event or person who represents the force of a population/collective. If this occurs, the effects would be in terms of narrowing paths forward." On March 22 th there was a terrorist attack in Brussels. Was this the high-profile event that ushered in the (mini) Nexus and if so could you elaborate on how paths forward were narrowed? Yes. March 19 appeared to us to be the marked shift toward a high profile event, and the event in Brussels seems to have been that event. We can only see that a pattern is emerging, and can assess upcoming probabilities based on that, but we wish to be clear that we did not "predict" this event. We differentiate prediction from assessing probabilities because prediction implies certainty while probabilities inherently consider even "last-minute" choice. This event reflected a shift relative to the recent Nexus in that patterns are growing "tighter and tighter" in regard to a breaking point for many people. The line of division between Soul Ages is deepening, so to speak, creating a void that will, eventually, be filled. As the division deepens it is creating a metaphorical gap, a fault line, throughout populations on a wider scale than has been the case in a long time. That fault line, or gap, is snapping even the most flexible and compassionate and inclusive of individuals to one "side" or the other. That gap is deepening and widening and this cannot be sustained, so it is contributing to the Turning Point of this year when the tension either gives way and erupts abruptly and shockingly among the masses, or a means of relieving that gap is offered up as a more productive solution. So the "narrowing" is in terms of the apparent sense that even if one did not actively choose so, he or she is likely to be forced to one "side" or the other, and that the resolution is leading only toward two scenarios: breakthrough or breakdown. Next, Connor. ConnorB: Hello Michael ConnorB: Can you convey an idea of what the afterlife was like for the first Humans to die? I'm curious because when the "gun jumpers" of our newly incarnating Design lived out their first lifetimes and died, they didn't have any cycled-off, more experienced friends to help them out. Was the afterlife very chaotic in the beginning? Most new Sentience is cared for by an established Sentience, so there are often plenty of experienced fragments ready to greet and support the newly dead of a new Sentient species. Remember that all Sentient species of a planet share the same Astral Plane. For example, Human and Cetacean Sentience has been supporting Gorilla fragments between lives. Mostly Human, but some Cetacean. For Humans, we had our own "caretakers" and then Cetacean. The constructs of these other Sentient species' own ideas of "afterlife" often inform those early lifetimes so that superstitions are born of the experiences between lives. There are two effects that seem to have been the most deeply affecting upon our earliest Human deaths/incarnations: One is along the lines of all variations on Shamanism, and the other is the deep, aching longing for a "home" that seems not to be of Earth. This is because precedence was set in those early afterlives by non-terrestrial relationships, and then Cetaceans informed us of more mystical relationships with the planet and its life forms. Keep in mind that the above is relative to the individual and his/her allowance of Review between lifetimes. In those instances there is teaching from those relationships we describe. However, most Infant Souls scramble desperately to return to a body and do so with little Review. ConnorB: I'm certainly looking forward to hanging out with dead dolphins. It is not unusual for the Astral interval to be "skipped" entirely and have back-to-back birth/death for several lives. ConnorB: Reminds me of waking up in the morning without remembering any dreams. It could be said to be chaotic, but it is a beautiful chaos that eventually leads to an awakening that perpetuates the evolution. ConnorB: Very cool, Michael, thank you. NEXT, Brian Brian_: Hi Michael. I realize this might be simplistic, but what is Truth? What is Love? What is Energy? We will say that Truth is that which True, or that which is in keeping with persistent and consistent understanding. This definition allows room for the 3 Levels of Truth that accommodate the Personal, Planetary, and Universal. Love is the gravity of souls. Energy is the indestructible, but infinitely variable and perpetual, fuel and form of a universe. Brian_: Could you expand upon "Love is the gravity of souls" ? In more material terms, it could be said that Love is a force generated by the vacuum of fragmentation. That vacuum cannot be sustained and is in a perpetual process of closing as a means to reunite fragments. In more spiritual terms, it could be said that Love is the process of remembering. There are many ways that we can respond to the questions of what these terms mean, but this is one way. NEXT, Becca. Becca: Hi Michael. I’m hoping you could elaborate on the themes and specialisations of some of the ‘less common’ cadres for us, today. Becca: You have previous provided some great information about cadres 1 and 2 who seem particularly common within these teaching communities (through some channels these are known as cadres 3 and 4, I believe), and I am hoping you might be able to tell us about other cadres, particularly cadres 7 – 9. Is there a reason it is so rare to come across members of these cadres and ‘higher’? Do they have a particular specialisation/focus of their own that draws them away from these teachings (e.g. are they predominantly younger souls, or have they cycled off already)? Thanks, and thanks for the beautiful responses you've given today. We have only one Cadre and Entity numbering system for a Sentience. All others are creative variations relative to an individual. There are variations of numbering and terms when expanding to include other Sentience, but we tend to emphasize the structure of Human Sentience in our teaching. Cadres 1, 2, 3, and 4 are higher in profile among our students because they are at the Cardinal end of the Energy Ring. These Cadres tend to lead the way in clearing paths, pioneering, experimenting, reaching out, exposing, questioning, integrating, inspiring, facilitating, etc. Cadre 4 specializes in mentoring and guiding and because of this has cycled off, acting as a resource of guides and support for all fragments of the Energy Ring. Because of the emphasis on Love by Cadre 1, and Knowledge by Cadre 2, and Compassion by Cadre 3, the fragments from these Cadres tend to create the network that allows the rest of the Energy Ring to explore in ways that bring a deep sense of safety and direction. When an Energy Ring makes its Agreements with its Teachers, the first 4 Cadres tend to "do all of the work" of directly accessing that teaching and this is then shared among the rest of the Energy Ring. In other words, many from Cadres 1-4 actually teach the teaching to the rest of the Cadre. This is not to say that Cadres 5 through 12 will not be among our active students recognizing our teaching, but many from those Cadres will tend to elect ambassadors or representatives, so to speak, who will work directly with us or a student from Cadres 1 - 4 and then make that information accessible to the Entities of that Cadre. While we have Agreements with all of your Energy Ring, the method of teaching you recognize as "channeling" and direct access to us is not how all of our students will learn from us. We focus on those active students who will then carry forward our teaching throughout the Energy Ring across lifetimes. This is an important dynamic because it is not often that such a method of teaching is actually available. It requires relatively prosperous and peaceful times for us to work through a channel, and even if the channel is available for this method, the students may not be. This is easier in older soul populations and paradigms, but there is no reason to wait for "perfect" states to begin our Agreements. So from among 12 Cadres, if we can get a stable "handful" to work directly with us, the teaching Agreements can be fulfilled any number of ways from there. As for Cadres 7, 8, and 9, we will say that Cadre 7 is focused on exploring decadence, pleasure, laughter, paradox, humor, and levity. Cadre 8 is focused on themes relative to profound responsibility, difficult choices, structure as a path of freedom, discipline. Cadre 9 is spread across the planet with many fragments directly involved in issues of social, political, and philosophical security, accountability, reality-checks, and anchoring awareness. A great deal of Cadre 9 perished in the "Twin Towers" of New York City. Though we can continue to expand our response, we will leave that for further exchanges. Becca: Thanks very much :) NEXT. We can take one or two more questions. AnnH: In the recent NYC Michael Speaks, you said “Pick your parallels wisely.” How does one pick a parallel? Can this be done consciously? We did not say that. AnnH: oops. I quoted it from the transcripts. DanielaS: It was a comment from one of the participants. Brian_: Can we though? AnnH: Oh, well. Can we pick parallels? Brian_: Either attract or repel parallels that we want? TyroneT: (lol) Parallels are always chosen and/or generated from choice. AnnH: Can we do this consciously and in what ways? The idea that one may be better than another is superficial speculation based on the degree of anticipated comfort. By the time "you" reach a point where parallels are converging or diverging, the choices that generate or lead you to a parallel have long been in effect. AnnH: ok Parallels are generated from cumulative effect. So our answer to your question is that, yes, you can consciously choose your parallels, but this is not like a menu at a restaurant where you pick and choose, or an intersection of streets at which you choose which way to turn. Instead, your active participation in consciously creating or moving toward a parallel is directly proportional to you practice in conscious choice on a daily basis. Think of it this way: The paths available upon reaching a branch from a parallel do not indicate options from which to choose at that moment, but indicate all directions that you will already go because of choices along the way. In other words, 3 paths at the intersection are not a prompt for choice, but a product of choice, and all three will be followed. We have worked with Troy on a detailed exploration of how parallels work and we suggest reminding him to direct you to this for more exploration. NEXT, final question Miia: Howdy Michael! Miia: I would like to get some more understanding about choice regarding parenting. Using myself as an example, I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant, and the feeling of responsibility (as I guess is quite normal) is getting almost daunting. I suppose the conflict here, at least for me personally, is the fundamental belief than everyone is responsible for themselves, and yet here I am, making really big decisions for another, very helpless human being. It is hard for me to relax and not feel very stressed about it, and I think one of the main reasons is that it just doesn't sit with the whole philosophy of choice for me. I am trying to think of it as, if something goes wrong, it *is* ultimately also that fragment's choice to agree to that experience. But it doesn't feel quite right, or good enough an explanation. Simply thinking "it is what it is, and just do your best", or "fears are illusion" or "trying to control everything is maya and only brings on anxiety" is just not cutting it in this situation, even if all those things were true. (The only thing I have found truly helpful is focusing on the moment, but that helps, well, for the moment ;)) Miia: So, what is your insight and advice for parents and parents-to-be, how to see through the, I suppose phobia, of possible threats (in my case, mainly but not only toxins, radiation and chemicals in our modern environment, homes and food etc), and the illusion of being solely responsible for the new human's well-being and "destiny"? Thanks! Miia, you are awake, and this is why the empty and inaccurate cliches no longer sit well with you. This is not just about parenting, but about being responsible as a conscious individual. All that happens TO an individual is not his or her choice. What one does with what happens to himself or herself is choice, but not always that which happens TO you. You cannot (always) control what happens TO you. That is simply a part of the dynamic and gamble of the Physical Plane, and what happens to you is often a byproduct of the range and impact of choice that exists for all fragments. In other words, if someone decides to harm you it does not mean you chose that. You may have made choices that led you to be in a position of vulnerability, but that is not the same thing as choosing to be harmed. If you contract an illness, it is not often because you chose to be sick. Illness can form from cumulative choices and behaviors that can lead to illnesses, but that does not mean the choice was to be sick. It is irresponsible and empty for any teaching to teach otherwise. Fears ARE often illusions, but the key element missing from this cliche is that fear is also informative. When you recognize fear, it is not helpful to look away, but rather to look closer. Fear informs you of threats, but your conscious sorting through those fears is the key to differentiating between what is speculative and what is legitimate. As for parenting, it is fair that you are concerned for the well-being of this new body because until that body is at least 7 years old, it is an extension of you on all levels. After 7 years old, the "nature" of the individual activates in a way that can then blend with or overturn the "nurture," but the first 7 years are entirely dependent upon nurture. If something goes "wrong," it is not necessarily because of choice on your part or that of the new Personality and its Essence. It is simply because the Physical Plane is inherently risky and scathing is a part of that risk. If you wish and choose to parent responsibly, let your fears inform you. Look at what concerns you. Educate yourself to your choices. Allow room for surprises and "curve balls" because they will come. Letting your fears inform you gives them a state of usefulness instead of distraction. Life is fragile. Life is messy. Life is chaotic. Miia: Oh man the hours of research and educating myself about all the choices =P Miia: I think its my Idealism that likes to fight against "chance" and "risk' existing. And yet, everything around you lives in some way. However fragile, messy, and chaotic life may be, the point is TO LIVE. And this is the final important note we can share in addition to letting your fears inform you. When you feel distracted by fears, by chance, by risk, by worry, it can be helpful to remind yourself that these are a part of LIFE. And you cannot forget to LIVE. And LET LIVE. In other words, no amount of safety and assurance is worth compromising the quality of living. As long as your fears are informing you so that you and your loved ones can live, then you are doing well. But if they interfere with the quality of living, then they are pointless. Remember to live. Miia: Nice :) Thank you. ! That is the best comfort one can bring to herself when life seems scary. We will conclude here for today. Good evening to each of you. Goodbye, for now.

    20140706 Ask Michael

Ask Michael in Live Session Open Floor July 6, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley [Hani] There are claims made of multiple Essences utilizing the same body by switching in and out over the lifetime. Is this possible? I am not talking about walk in and walk out [MEntity] Only one Essence can ever "inhabit" a body. The body cannot act as a revolving door for Essences. Though one body can have been host to 2 or more Essences across a lifetime, it is never at once, and rarely more than 2. The shift between one Essence to another is often traumatic, or at least done through the exploitation of a trauma, and takes up to 7 years for full transition. It is not a process that is taken lightly. [Hani] I understand, thank you [MEntity] However, the Personality and/or Essence of a body can act as a conduit for as many Essences as it wishes. This is how the Transcendental Soul Manifests. It is only one Essence representing the whole of the Entity, but all of the fragments of that Entity have access to all that is that body's experiences and life. This is, also, how Guides work, and Essence Twins when one is not extant. When there is a Personality who senses fragmentation, it is usually relative to the Personality, not variations of Essences. That Personality is likely compartmentalized, divided, fractured, and has evolved into facets that either lose contact with one another, or revolve as distinct facets around a central core trait. Every Personality has sub-personalities, but for some, these can become distinct facets that have no communication with one another, such as is the case with Dissociative Identity Disorder, but if there is communication, the range can be from "normal" variations on Personality to accommodate various contexts of life, to extreme facets that, while still communicating, identify as separate. [Kurtis] Hi Michael, much like in past exchanges I'd like an elaboration of both Perseverance Mode and Power Mode that can cater to all soul ages, and much like before, an explanation of the - and +Poles as well. [MEntity] PERSEVERANCE MODE is the Ordinal, Action Mode. The Mode describes how one fulfills the Goal, and how one Relates. In its Positive Pole, there is Persistence, and in its Negative Pole, there is Unchanging. PERSISTENCE is the capacity to navigate around, over, and through obstacles, whereas UNCHANGING is the capacity to repeatedly confront obstacles. In Persistence, there is a sense of one's position relative to an obstacle or direction, and these are known to be dynamic. There is awareness that both the obstacle/direction and the one acting can change, evolve, alter, etc. In Unchanging, this dynamic is lost. It is no longer a dance, but a matter of pushing forward or into, and knocking down or clearing a path that has been determined. There is only a sense of direction or movement if that obstacle is overcome. Consider the difference between one amputee who has lost her legs and finds a way to work with her obstacles, while another determines that if those legs are gone, then everything on the other side of that is lost, unless those legs are returned. One is Persistence. One is Unchanging. When one is Unchanging, it is the Positive Pole of the partner Mode, Aggression, that will help to move one back into Persistence. The Positive Pole of Aggression is Dynamism. In other words, there is no division between self and obstacle/direction. They are parts of an equation that describe the paths of life. Both contribute to the path. Unchanging is when one has determined that the obstacle is in the way of the path. Power is Presence, then. When one owns one's presence, or power, there is Authority. This is simply the management of expression in a way that is responsible, considered, and aware of its impact on others. When one depends on others as their source of presence, or power, then it falls into Oppression. This is true on the scale of oppression that one sees regarding minorities or non-sentient creatures, as well as in terms of the self. To Oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission one seeks or takes from others. Put another way: To oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission for expression one seeks or takes from others. Or, to oppress others is to draw power and presence from restricting expression of others. For one to move out of the Negative Pole of Power, one needs to slide to the Positive Pole of Caution, Deliberation. When this is regarding self-oppression, it is when one chooses a specific way or context of expressing oneself, rather than not expressing oneself at all. When this is regarding oppression of others, it is the ownership of how one has interpreted the expression or presences of others as deliberately affecting oneself, when, in fact, it has not. Deliberation is merely the slowing down of thought so as to be careful in how one experiences or delivers expression. Though we can continue to elaborate upon these, we must consider the queue. [Maureen] Michael, I can see how Personal Truths line up: HONESTY: Truth, SINCERITY: Love, INTEGRITY: Energy, but I’d like your take on how Global Truths and Universal Truths line up with Truth, Love and Energy. The one that I’m having the most trouble reconciling is the Global Truth of NATIONAL that lines up with Love. I’m not sure how that fits as many of us Older Souls don’t see “Love” of a country or being nationalistic as fitting in with our larger view of “the world”. If there is time, would you provide a short explanation for the Global Truths and the Universal Truths so we can see how they align with Truth, Love and Energy? If not, just an explanation of the Global Truth, NATIONAL: Love, would be appreciated. [MEntity] Nationalism/Nationalistic is not the same thing as Love for one's country. The former tends to be built upon notions of superiority, whereas the latter is built upon gratitude, nostalgia, and appreciation. When one tends to one's home, it can be from notions of superiority to one's neighbors, or it can be from the sense of importance to nurture one's space. This is true on the National scale, as well. The people of a Nation are benefited when there is Love of those peoples. This can be a dividing line in Politics, for example. Self-preservation based in superiority, or nurturing on a grand scale for as many as possible. However, keep in mind that our response for corresponding Truth, Love, and Energy to the variations of truth within each category of truth, is only for convenience, not from literal representation. It may be more accurate to see these as Axes, not as specific terms. So, for example, Honesty is Expressive, Personal Truth. Sincerity is Inspirational, Personal Truth. Integrity is Active, Personal Truth. Remember that Truths are relative here. Community is Expressive Global Truths, or how a Community expresses, represents itself within the spectrum of how other communities do so. National is Inspirational Global Truth, or how a people of a nation feel about their place on the planet among other nations. Planetary is Active Global Truths, or how a planet of people behaves in relation to other planets/off-planet life. In Universal Terms, every single fragment will have a Body, Mind, and Soul, and these are conduits for expression, inspiration, and action, and this is true no matter where, when, or who you would experience. We think we have expanded on these enough for now, but we can further clarify these in further discussions. [JanaK] I have a follow up question regarding the talk on the topic of Reincarnation. It’s about the “stuck” Personalities. There have been a couple of “teasers” throw out, which I would like more clarification on. [MEntity] Here is the distinction we may have not clarified in our initial delivery: Those Personalities that fulfill an Internal Monad in the Positive Pole, regardless of whether the First, the Second, Third, etc. will likely NOT loop, but go through Review and gather on the Astral, being "collected" in the final Level of that Soul Age. [Bobby] Since it's my understanding that after an Entity cycles off that Casting plays a larger part than the Role does, would you briefly describe generally what those of you that are Sage-cast "do"? [MEntity] It is more nuanced than only Casting, with your Casting within the Entity being a contributing factor. In the same way that all Sages will not manifest the same way while incarnating, neither will all Sage-Cast in the Entity. But there will be a common theme of Cardinal Expression. So, regardless of the nuances, those who are Sage-Cast will be those who spread information, communicate, bring levity, offer simple and profound insight. One of the nuances to consider is that the Role then tends to become the function that Casting had while incarnating. So a Sage-Cast Warrior while incarnating might be understood as a Warrior-Cast Sage when cycled off in the Entity. The other nuance would be the Cadence Group and Greater Cadence, of course, as well as Position. But, in general, the Sage-Cast will help tell the stories of the Entity. [ClaireC] Michael, could you tell us where horses are in the hierarchy of the animal kingdom and how their Animal-Companion bond with humans is affected by the fact that they are often "working" animals? Is it any different than trained, performing dogs or circus animals? [MEntity] Though there is hierarchy of intelligence among most domestic or domesticated animals, there is very little difference emotionally. There are differences, but little. The range of intelligence only determines how that species can communicate its emotions, and how it organizes its experiences. This goes for chickens, cows, pigs, horses, birds, dogs, cats, etc. We are going to define "domesticated" as any of those species in captivity with which one can develop a relationship. There are many "pets" that fall outside of that, such as many reptiles or insects, and then there are some that fall outside of the category of "pets" that have evolved relationships with Humans, such as Bees. What the individuals or groups within that domesticated species do only has bearing insofar as how it contributes to their experience of Emotional evolution. Those creatures that are nurtured as a whole tend to evolve faster in their emotional intelligence than those that are not. For example, dogs, cats, and horses have keen emotional worlds that range across a wide spectrum of emotions, while chickens tend to suffer from extreme terror and displacement due to the mass suffering. All non-sentient creatures tend to default to Instinctive methods for managing suffering and pain, and this is for the sake of protection against being seen as weak, vulnerable, etc. to other predators. Even the most intelligent of dogs, horses, cats, pigs, etc. will often refrain from reveal of pain or suffering for that reason. Therefore, working horses who are treated well may feel a great sense of purpose and bonding, while other working horses relegated to strict uses, such as carriage horses or race horses, suffer greatly, even if not in obvious ways. Care and feeding are not all that are necessary for the quality of life for the more emotionally-complex creatures. The more social the species, the more likely the suffering is reduced to strict work and use. Watching horses running freely in a field together versus watching a horse chained to a cart alongside Central Park is all that is necessary to know this, if one is practicing empathy. [ClaireC] "Beast of burden" comes to mind. [MEntity] We wish to be clear that the differentiation between suffering and pain is a matter of time. More emotionally-complex and intelligent creatures can suffer more easily than those that are not. However, the more a creature is exposed to pain, the more it can suffer, even as there is no sense of time. So while a horse or a dog can suffer even when between painful experiences, a chicken that is trapped in terror with injuries and a mutated body is in a constant state of pain, which is its own form of suffering. Animals used for performance, entertainment, circuses, and work often do suffer because most of these scenarios override everything natural to that creature. In cases where work is balanced with care, feeding, shelter, socializing, freedom, expression, and affection can there be the possibility of a "happy" creature. This is true of even Humans. [AnnaYusim] I have a question about St Therese of Lisieux (Born Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin) her book "story of a soul" is a spiritual classic. I have read that its not 100 percent her authentic words is that true?? Also i'd like to know her role, casting and soul age? [MEntity] As this fragment was "sainted," all accounts have come to be embellished for the support of that sainthood. It is true that not all of the words attributed to her are her own. This is not to say they are not in keeping with "the spirit" of her expression, just that embellishments are involved. This fragment is a Priest-Cast Artisan who was 7th Level Young at the time. [royce] marius here: Adyashanti speaks openly about his awakening experiences and i'm curious to know the relationship to this experience of " awakening" and Internal monads. for example if one has awakened in the terms adyashanti describes does one still go through internal monads. [MEntity] If the term is being used as a conclusive state, then it is a misnomer. This "awakening" could be said to be a description of how one completes an Internal Monad, as it is a conscious process of unlearning all that was learned, at least in terms of what was learned that is not serving you. That is what each Internal Monad is: an unlearning. To that extent, each Internal Monad is a process of "awakening," but each awakening is far from conclusive. There is no shortcut through the Internal Monads. Even the oldest and most conscious of fragments must go through them. To teach otherwise is to teach that one does not count as a PART of the whole that is ultimately YOU. [royce] i ask because i hear a lot of " i have no more fear of death" with these experiences at age 29 or something, which sounds like a completely of 6th IM...which seems odd to be there at 30..but that's beautiful to know we always have something to learn completion* [MEntity] Lacking fear of death when one is not confronting it has nothing to do with the completion of the 6th Internal Monad. It is easy not to fear something one cannot comprehend. But when one suddenly feels and knows the impending closure of mortality, it is a very different rite of passage. Even if one has had a close call with death in the middle of the life, it is not the same thing as the closing in on the final call. That close call with death can contribute to the ease of the 6th Internal Monad, but it is not the same as the 6th Internal Monad. The 6th Internal Monad is only valid when the onset of the cause of the exit is finalized. However, even that is not always the case. If one has not completed the 4th Internal Monad, for instance, and has a terminal illness, it will still be necessary to complete the 4th Internal Monad, no matter how distracting the onset of death is.
  12. Michael Speaks 101109 Open Floor [Michael Entity] We are here. Hello to each of you. [QUESTION] Tremendous amounts of seismic activity have occurred in the south pacific recently. What is the likely outcome of this? Does this portend something bigger to come? [Michael Entity] As you know, we cannot and do not predict, but we can say that the pattern does appear to indicate one of two major directions: That these releases are helping to alleviate a massive plate movement, or that it is leading up to a massive plate movement. The Pacific Plate appears to be shifting more drastically in relation to the Antarctic Plate, due to shifts in temperature and water allocation. At this point, the potential for either direction appears to be equal. The reason we cannot predict the momentum in one direction or the other is because this is one of many factors that would be a part of a Global Nexus building over the next couple of years. In other words, one world would have a massive plate shift, while the other shows a decline in seismic activity altogether. [QUESTION] Is it possible for what is happening to cause a slipping of ice off the Antarctic plate? [Michael Entity] It would be nearly impossible, but not impossible, to have the ice cap "slip," at least in a way that is dramatic. It would more than likely require a meteor impact for that to occur. [QUESTION] How are hive souls different from a human essence with concurrents? Is it the number of incarnations with a human essence having a much smaller number? Or is it a qualitative difference of the character of these different incarnations? Are hive souls also involved with soul levels? [Michael Entity] Hive Souls are different because they are not fragments, and they are not Sentient by standards we use to define Sentience, which would be that one is in the final exploration of the Physical Plane as a Fragment who is evolving Self-Awareness combined with exponential capacity for Choice. Concurrents could be compared to the dynamic of Hive Souls, except that Concurrents have no awareness of one another and each Personality is individual, whereas in Hive Soul dynamics, there is a constant awareness of "the hive," or "species central," so to speak. We use the term "hive" because it is exactly what it is. The consciousness of each animal can come and go to that "hive" as often as necessary, and returns to that hive between lives, much like one might see in a bee hive, where all of the bees come and go as individuals, but always in coordination with one another, and sharing the same central home. In that regard, one could consider all of one's individual lifetimes as the "bees" to the "hive of Essence," but that is where the comparison would end, unless one were to look at the process of Sentience on a much grander scale, then Tao would be the "hive." All forms of consciousness move through some organized process of evolution, but until the level of Sentience, those forms of consciousness can opt back out of the process and return to Tao, move to other planetary systems, remain in one level for as long as is desired. Once there is the leap into Sentience, the commitment is permanent in terms of evolving exponentially. Consider an amusement park as an analogy: All forms of consciousness can ride any and all of the major rides, as often as desired, and even leave the amusement park for other amusement parks, or leave the amusement park circuit altogether and go "home." However, Sentience could be compared to a massive slide that, once boarded, has a natural momentum that pulls one forward and completely to the end, with very little room for abandoning the momentum. [QUESTION] How many essences do most essences choose to do many external monads with? Getting confused with what I've read, can't find much in depth material. I know we do them all at least once, and to get to the love monad you do a certain group of them with the same essence, and some choose to do more than one love monad. That seems like a lot of monads to get through. Also, I can't find any description of the love monad beyond the general experiencing agape, etc, and it's not necessarily a mate thing, could be other relationships, right? Is this something usually done with ET and/or just a few other close essences? [Michael Entity] Most fragments tend to work in all of the major (classic) external monads in a way that leads to a Love Monad with at least 12 other fragments. Once the Love Monad is completed, this fragment becomes what we refer to as a Heart Link. Most fragments tend to develop at least 12 Heart Links. This may seem like a lot of external monads to complete, and it is, but keep in mind that many of these can be completed with multiple fragments within the same lifetime; many can be reciprocated within a single lifetime; and as Essence evolves and experiments with Concurrents, this adds more possibility for fulfillment. Over approximately 100 lifetimes or more, this is easily accomplished. Many fragments choose to fulfill external monads with those Essences most available and/or already linked, such as Essence Twins, Traveling Companions, the Primary Task Companion, and then those Task Companions who are added after the cycle begins. The Love Monad is not necessarily a final monad, but simply the Monad that moves two fragments into a final process of Agape. In other words, the commitment to truly Love one another has now been made. In that commitment, the Love Monad would show up as a commitment within the lifetime to "re-visit" literally or symbolically ALL Monads that have come to be fulfilled with one another. The reason for this is because True Love, or Agape, requires comprehension, and the Personalities attempt to truly grasp the magnitude of each other in the Love Monad. Most try to complete the Love Monad within a single lifetime, but we see that up to three lifetimes tend to be the average. [QUESTION] Does this imply that the Love Monad occurs between fragments of the same soul age? [Michael Entity] Yes, and rarely before the Old Soul cycle. [QUESTION] Are the "classic" ones that full set of about 30 I've seen around various places, or a subset? [Michael Entity] The "classic" set of monads have been listed elsewhere, yes, but we will also include those in the final transcript. [see end of transcript] Though the classics are often preferred, the Love Monad is not limited to having only done the classics. Many Love Monads arise from including a few rather rare or original external monads. Once a Love Monad is completed, ALL "charge" between those fragments is neutralized. In other words, those with Heart Links tend to rarely feel more than soft admiration and embrace of one another. [QUESTION] I'd like a little more insight into the whole enabling deal [how to tell if you are an enabler, and what to do if you are an enabler]. [Michael Entity] There are various forms of "enabling," but the generality is that this is a state of passive or active contribution to the harm of another person in the guise of support. The most definitive factor in determining if one is enabling, or not, is if your presence is contributing to the harm of yourself, or to the other. We emphasize "PRESENCE," as it does not have to be an active presence, but can be a passive one, that helps contribute to the harm to yourself, or to the other. Presence plus Harm equals "Enabling." We will further define "Harm" as systematic or sudden reduction in the capacity for choice. Putting all of this together, one can then help oneself determine if one is "enabling," if one's presence is actively, or passively, contributing to the reduction of another's, or your own, capacity for choice. If one discovers enabling is in effect, the next step is, of course, to make your choice as to whether to continue enabling, which is a valid choice in itself, to remove oneself from that dynamic altogether, or to take action in a way that contributes to the return of choice for both parties. The key in your next step, then, would be CHOICE, which helps to counter all harmful effects of Enabling. If one chooses to continue enabling after one has realized that is the dynamic, it will require a reduction of consciousness and a move into a division within the Personality. This is because, however regressive one's behavior can be, one's awareness cannot be unlearned. You now KNOW you are enabling, and you choose to continue to contribute harm. This will require a division within, as one part is fully aware, and the other part manages the habitual behavior. However, that part that is aware will now always be there, and it will most likely not be able to be ignored, however habitual the behavior continues. This is why we say that even the choice to continue can help counter the effects of enabling. In a sudden moment, everything can change, now that this awareness is in place. In other words, many will continue to enable, until they simply cannot. If you chose to remove yourself from the enabling dynamic, this leaves the other Personality to either find someone else to enable, or to find effective help, or to spiral further into his or her own demise. However, in a situation where one has not only become ineffective in bringing about healing and positive change, but has moved into a dynamic that is actually causing harm to both parties, then the choice to leave is not abandonment. It is love. For many fragments, the choice to step outside of the dynamic of self-harm that is generated by another fragment is one of the most difficult, and most loving choices, a Personality can ever make. It is entirely counter-intuitive to step outside of that dynamic, and often it is met with devastating feelings, but it is a choice that is rooted in absolute love, not only in that it is countering the harm that is built into the dynamic of enabling, but in that it is a trust in both parties to return to a capacity of choice that is higher than when together. The choices made beyond that cannot be guaranteed to bring about beautiful results, but the capacity for choice is there. Beyond continuing to enable, or removing oneself from the enabling dynamic, there is then the choice to take active measures to increase the capacity for choice for both parties. If this choice is made, it does not guarantee that the one who was enabled will be receptive to this increase of choice, but as one is in a state that is decreased capacity for choice, it is a fair and legitimate choice of another fragment to "intervene," if possible. Intervention may, or may not, be received, but the effort to bring this to the previously-enabled fragment's life is a valid choice, if you choose to do so, and if the resources are there to help you to do so. [QUESTION] One wonders whether animals are happy in zoos, but on the other hand zoos are nowadays helping to save threatened species. Does the positive outweigh the negative? [Michael Entity] On a small scale, there are a number of zoos where the impact is for preservation, sanctuary, and rehabilitation, and these zoos are fairly clear and open in that agenda. We see most animals in that scenario to find value in the experience as this contributes to their own evolution of consciousness. Anytime animals can be in close proximity to Sentience while capable of maintaining their own level of capacity for choice, much is gained. However, most zoos do not share this agenda, and simply exist as a business for generating city or personal revenue, contributing to the unnecessary confinement, capture, and harm of those animals involved. We cannot say that the positive outweighs the negative, but we can say that if one is concerned, it is usually obvious which zoos are sanctuaries, and which are businesses. [QUESTION] So one can visit a sanctuary zoo with a clear conscience? [Michael Entity] That would be a question only you could answer. We know that many can visit the most harmful of zoos and still have a "clear conscience," while others can visit the most beneficial of zoos, and leave feeling a deep guilt or sorrow. However, we can say that if one's concern is the comparison between benefit vs destruction, then those zoos focused on sanctuary, etc, may be more comfortable for the compassionate Personality. Compassion and consciousness grow parallel to one another, and are often linked with sensitivity. If one's consciousness and compassion has evolved to a point where these questions are important, and one feels that the participation in one zoo contributes to one's idea of good work, over the work of another, then the choice may be an easy one for that individual. For another fragment who is not emphasizing broad compassion and consciousness, then the choice may simply be as to which one would bring more personal joy or entertainment. We wish to point out that we see all choices as valid, but in terms of contributing to the choices available to non-sentient species vs the reduction of choice for that species, we do see this concern as growing parallel to one's evolution of consciousness. For instance, one can easily remove the choice of a fellow Sentient fragment through murder in earlier lifetimes, but this eventually falls away as a solution as consciousness evolves. The same concern begins to extend to other species as that evolution continues. This is not to say that an Old Soul will not, or cannot, murder, or that an Infant or Baby soul does not have compassion and concern for other species, but that the progression is fairly consistent in terms of your question becoming an important to the fragment. [QUESTION] Hello, Michael. Based on the Teachings we've received so far, I cannot validate the truth of whether or not Cetaceans are an ensouled family of animals for a number of reasons: ...1) Michael has said that Cetacea are a transplanted group of Essences who are finishing off their Grand Cycles started elsewhere, but nearly gone extinct due to technological/civilization abuses. Also, their ensoulment started prior to humans. ...When did cetaceans first ensoul on earth? [Michael Entity] About 40 million years ago by Earth standards of measuring time. The original line of species from the original star system were land and water mammals who would resemble something more like variations of swimming wolves that could walk upright. The line of species on Earth that were used for continued ensoulment of the 3 Harmonies (about 5 million entities) was an Order that had some genetic history of land and water life, as well, but had become water-bound, with no appendages capable of environmental manipulation, and had developed the Intellectual Center to a point where a leap into self-awareness and capacity for choice could be ignited by the ensoulment. ...What was the average soul age level? [Michael Entity] The average Soul Age at the time of the transition was early Young. ...Have they continued to start new infant souls? [Michael Entity] Infant Souls stopped choosing these species millions of years ago, though 1 additional Harmony that had not begun its incarnations in the previous species joined the 3 who transferred, and those fragments know only Earth as their Sentient cycles. Most of the fragments who have become notorious in their curiosity and exchange with Human Sentience come from that Harmony. ...2) Cetaceans is a biological order, not a species -- just as primates is an order, not a species. The order Cetacea contains about ninety species, all marine except for four species of freshwater dolphins. ...Which species of Cetaceans are ensouled? [Michael Entity] The concept of "Species" is a relative concept, and one that is not consistent, complete, or agreed upon, even within your scientific communities. We use the term loosely, as it does have a fair amount of accuracy as a reference. In terms of Cetacea, nearly all species are ensouled, except the various Families known as the River Dolphin. Within the Cetacean world, "species" are experienced more in the way that Humans experience "Race," with no real differentiation between those Whales with teeth and those without. ...3) Michael has said that culture and social interactions are major parts of the evolution of humans' soul ages. The continual use of choice generates intense relationships, and karma. Civilization has grown out of a need to stabilize the effects of weather irregularities and to allow for surpluses. ...While I can understand that civilization may not be necessary in a stable environment and food supply, especially if one is nomadic, the impact of social interactions and karma seems necessary for soul evolution. None of the information about roles, overleaves, or even soul age level seem to apply to cetaceans. Nor do they seem to share a culture. Can you explain? [Michael Entity] The vast variation of cultures among Humans, however foreign, frightening, or familiar, all share mediums that are natural to your species. The same is true of Cetaceans who do not have the same capacity for manipulating their environment in a way that you would recognize their cultures, but in ways that are relative to their capabilities. In many cases, there are common grounds, but even within that common ground, it may not be recognizable to Humans as a "culture" by Human standards. Areas of culture that you might recognize would be in their dance, games, singing, poetry, families, story-telling, etc. These are areas that are handed down, taught, have become tradition, have evolved over time, and could be seen and heard by you for the most part, though it may not make sense to you. Beyond these common areas, art is quite important to Cetacea and this is done in an arena that you might recognize as a telepathic, or psychic, arena. Constructs of thought and feeling can be shaped in ways that can be transferred and shared among the various species. Many of the larger Whales might be experienced as floating art galleries, as they tend to store and collect art. Cetacea do not have religions as Humans do, but they do have their mythologies that could be said to be similar to religious mythology. Most of their mythologies are consistent and shared across species, all being variations of their history of commitment to rise above harm and violence, to cultivate arts, and to find their way home to the stars. Human mythology is similar, since Human Sentience was also transported from species off-planet, but Humans have turned their mythologies away from being a reflection of origin and intent, to being a process and mirror for dysfunction. Soul Age, Levels, Overleaves, etc, are just as valid among Cetacea as they are among Humans. There are instances when our students may recognize the validity of these factors in behaviors that are familiar, or as exchanges between Cetacean and Human. For the most part, your question is similar to a statement such as "all Chinese look alike," when that statement couldn't be further from the truth. That statement, as well as your question, merely reflects a lack of intimate experience with the individuals that make up that group. We can assure you that there is a spectrum of personalities among Cetacea, from wise Whales and wise-ass Whales, and beyond. As with any group of Sentience that has variations of body types, cultures, history, current circumstances, etc, Soul Ages tend to gravitate toward one group or another. For instance, in Humans the "Black Race" used to be primarily Mature Souls as slavery was imposed, and the fight for freedom and rights was building. Once a fair amount of freedom was secured, Young Souls have now moved into that "race" as a means to take advantage of that freedom. For many years, Servers found great value in building up the United States, but once the United States moved into a Young Soul paradigm, Servers shifted their population to China. Now that Mature Souls, and a return of emphasis to family and support is building, Servers are returning to the U.S. This same kind of movement of Souls and Soul Ages is within the Cetacea. The species known as Orca are more exciting to the Infant and Baby Souls, whereas the larger Whales are more appealing to the Older Souls. Now Orcas tend to be popular among Young Souls, and this contributed to an entire entertainment industry on land with Humans, as these Young Souls rebel against their cultures and insist that they can be "stars." Many of the familiar Dolphin tales of rescue and nurturing of stranded humans are Mature Souls, as well as the occasional beached, confused, or tragic incidences among Whales and Dolphins. Whales and Dolphins drawn to Human exchanges tend to be Sages and Scholars. Of course, within all of this are the Overleaves. In short, unless you are able to truly submerge yourself into another group, the things that you find familiar may not be found among that group, but that does not invalidate the reality of their souls or their cultures. ...4) Michael has said that the essential component necessary to a intelligent species to make the leap to sentience and ensoulment is imagination. Choice requires imagination and creative thinking. Whales, dolphins, and porpoises are generally deemed very intelligent, but there seems little evidence of imagination. Humpback whales display creative thinking in their use of encircling herring in a ring of bubbles that forces them into a ball for easy capture. But for all of the millennium that humans and cetacea have co-existed, none of the cetaceans seem to have much understanding or lore about avoiding human hunters. Cetacean language may include song but it doesn't include historical or teaching stories. The oceans are vast and unpredictable; they are not humans' natural element. Yet, they managed to hunt several species of whale to near extinction. How was this possible? [Michael Entity] Humans hunt, enslave, murder, and torture EACH OTHER on small scales and large scales. The fact that this can still occur, even with all that has come to be recorded and learned by your own species, does not negate your imagination, capacity for choice, and sentience. The fact that Humans can extend this violence and impose it upon other creatures, does not, in any way, negate their capacity for feeling or suffering, let alone their capacity for choice, imagination, and sentience. One of the primary motivating factors for Humans is Fear. One of the primary motivating factors for Cetacea is Love. In the same way that most Humans will gauge their options through a filter of fear, Cetacea tend to filter their options through Love. This means that their "lore" and teachings are rooted in trust, open-mindedness, affection, and innocence. Despite the fact that a Cetacean species may be hunted to the point of extinction, Cetacea will not give up the concept that there is hope for peaceful relations with every other species. In addition to this, their concepts of death are quite different from Humans', and their emphasis is on life and living moment to moment, rather than in a way that is entirely based in fear and preservation. Keep in mind that this is a group of Sentience who destroyed themselves and the habitable status of their original planet. They are simply not going to go down any path of choice that hints at war or fear. This is not to say they do not experience fear, or choose fear, but that they do it in other ways unrelated to survival. Every group of Sentience moves through cycles that could be described in terms of Overleaves, and for the past Century, Cetaceans have been in Spiritualist cycle, with Idealism before that. The new century cycle is one of Realism, and this may help temper some of the blind faith and naivety that has been a part of their societies for a couple of centuries. Humans have moved out of a cycle of Cynicism and into Idealism, tempered with Pragmatism. As for imagination, most of this you simply cannot see. To insist that one species use the tools, or the familiar media, that another species uses as a means to determine intelligence and imagination, is simply an invalid method of interpretation. [QUESTION]...Additionally, since karma is created when sentient species kill sentient species, how will the karma be balanced between the whale hunters and the whales? Or even the tuna fisherman and the dolphins? [Michael Entity] Karma is only generated if INTENSITY is generated on at least one side of the scenario and attached to the other. With Cetacea inherently forgiving and naive, very little Karma has been generated. In instances where Karma has been generated, it would be burned in the same way that you understand Ribbons to be burned among Humans. This would either be a reversal of the scenario in another life, or a creative form of balance that is focused on rescue and saving lives. In other words, for example, many Whale hunters from the past are now activists for their protection. *** End of session *Classic External (relationship) Monads Teacher/Student; Parent/Child; Imprinter/Imprinted; Siblings (brother/brother, brother/sister, sister/sister); Husband/Wife; Leader/Follower; Attacker/Victim; Healer/Healed; Rescuer/Rescued; Integrator/Eccentric; Hopelessly Loving/Hopelessly Loved; Passionate/Repressed; Dependent/Independent; Pivotal Facilitator/Facilitated; Slovenly/Meticulous; Passive/Aggressive; Adept/Apprentice; Artist/Patron; Deserter/Abandoned; Profligate/Tempered; Innocent/Sophisticate; Promiscuous/Impotent; Master/Slave; Player/Pawn; Defender/Defended; Hidden/Disclosed; Slander/Slandered; Jailer/Prisoner; Tandem Monad; Love Monad Note from Janet: In the comments following the original posting of this session, the following exchange occurred which may be relevant to those reading this transcript: Comment: Very interesting Troy, I do have a question about humans on occasion incarnating into cetaceans or the other way around. I simply cannot abide Micheal's take that this does absolutely not happen. I tend to feel I have had at least one lifetime in this form while still doing the human rounds, so to speak. Can you comment on why essence might choose to do this and what reasons would predispose essence to do this as opposed to maybe sticking to a one species at a time kind of thing. I imagine that in life there have to be the occasional exceptions to the rule. Look at Bill Gates' wealth, Micheal Jackson's talent, Hitler's atrocities etc etc Response from Troy: My first response is that Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, and Hitler don't represent anything similar to an "exception to the rule" that might be similar to an exception like Sentience leaping around in different species. Those people are still living within the context of being human and using the same playing field we all have access to. They may be exceptional to the average life, but not exceptional to any rule. But Michael has addressed this sense of memory for some as being Cetacean, and Michael has said that these memories vary from fantasy to astral reviews to being friends with other Sentient Essences, and memories other Grand Cycles. FANTASY: Some of us identify strongly with what we see as such innocence and wisdom and peace, so we create fantasies about having been one of them. ASTRAL REVIEW: When it's from astral review, it's usually from between lives when we had taken part in the harm of a Cetacean. Michael has explained that our astral review always includes a complete examination of any harm we caused to any creature. Any time our consciousness gets to a point where we begin considering the consequences of our actions on other creatures, sentient or otherwise, we generate a kind of self-karma that we work through. So if we pointlessly squash a bug, bite into a hamburger, and we realize that our actions contributed to the harm of a creature, or if we are on a whaling boat and start to realize that something is very painful and upsetting about that exploitation, we explore the flip side in our astral review. That means we literally cast a part of our consciousness into an animal, insect, bird, or reptile and experience whatever we did that caused their demise or wounding. If an incarnated animal isn't in any situation that could lend that experience, then it will be done entirely on the astral, and though the physical experience may be compromised a bit, the emotional experience would be equal. This is how we begin to truly grasp compassion beyond the limits of our species. FRIENDSHIP: Michael says it's not uncommon at all for groups of Sentience who are incarnating in different species that do not interact on the physical plane in any meaningful way to still develop friendships outside of the Physical Plane. There are a lot of fragments throughout the body of students of Michael who are good friends with many Cetacean Sentients. And probably just as many who have friends (as Essence) from off-planet, as well. Michael has said that when the species don't interact in a way that can build relationships, then the Essences will explore each others' species and environment during astral review, sometimes even acting as a guide while one is incarnated. GRAND CYCLES: And then Michael has also said that there were other species similar to Cetaceans in our past Grand Cycles that, as we grow older in soul age, we might be remembering. In the end, Michael says that you can believe whatever you want, though, of course. Further comment from Geraldine: I think that something that you're not taking into consideration is the long period of time where your Essence was exploring the beginning of their Grand Cycle and experimenting on the physical plane. This is when each Essence spends time as all of the beginning and simplest elements, minerals, rocks, simple animals and plants -- all the way on up to being Hive Souls and Devas. All seven kingdoms of existence are experienced in order to develop Essence to be ready to ensoul into a species. Not all of these experiences are spent on earth and many Essences who do experience a kingdom or two will move onto another planet elsewhere on the physical plane. While I've read elsewhere that humans and cetaceans experience cross-species ensoulment, I tend to go along with Michael on this one as it's consistent with all of the rest of their teachings about Role in Essence development. It's very possible that you have a whale totem animal and are picking up those "vibes." I know that I have a Blue Whale as one of my totem animals.
