  1. OMW - Apr 20, 2013 - How You Matter and Why This Matters To You 9:45 AM 4/20/2013 Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We may begin discussing with you the suggested concept of how you "matter" and how this might matter to you. [MEntity] Before exploring the nuances of "matter" as a matter of study and self-reflection, it is important to note, first, that there is no such thing as someone not mattering. Everyone matters. Everyone. There are no exceptions. [MEntity] As we explore the nuances of this, the validity of this may become clear. [MEntity] This quality of mattering starts to become clearer as one exits the Young Soul Age, and enters the Mature Soul Age. [MEntity] This is because it is when the Essence and the Personalities begin to truly grasp the impact of oneself and others in both figurative and literal senses. [MEntity] There are two ways in which one finds one matters: figuratively, or perceptually; and literally, or directly. [MEntity] As with nearly everything, there are ways to matter in positive ways and in negative ways. [MEntity] Keep in mind that our polarities are not degrees between "good and bad," but degrees between expansion and contraction, openness and closure, inclusivity and exclusivity, etc. [MEntity] In earlier lifetimes with earlier Soul Ages one tends to focus on how one matters from the negative pole. This brings an emphasis on how one matters to those defined as significant, as opposed to the older Soul Ages were it begins to matter to you if you matter to even the broadest range of strangers. [MEntity] As one grows in Soul Age, it will continue to matter if you matter to those you have deemed significant, but this will be included in the broader scheme of things regarding how you matter to the world, how your life matters, etc. [MEntity] In earlier Soul Ages, it will tend not to matter at all how one matters to "the world," as long as one matters to those deemed significant. [MEntity] Another way the Negative Pole can manifest is if one is only concerned with how one matters to "the world" over how one matters to those deemed signficant. [MEntity] Again, the poles are about inclusivity over exclusivity. [MEntity] How one matters to "the world" overshadows how one matters to those deemed significant is a hallmark of the Young Soul. [MEntity] The weight of how one matters begins to grow heavy for the Mature and Old Soul because how one matters to "everything and everyone" comes into consideration, and the balancing that can be required of this can be quite challenging. [MEntity] It is particularly heavy for the Mature Soul, and begins to lighten for the Old Soul over the Levels. [MEntity] This is because during the Mature Soul Levels, this is constantly measured and there is a constant monitoring and balancing in place that can be exhausting, but during the Old Soul Levels, the assumption that (every) one matters begins to integrate as part of one's base line. [MEntity] Depending upon where one is in Manifesting Soul Age, then the consideration of how one matters will take on different degrees of emphasis and weight. [MEntity] For most Old Souls, there is still some weight and emphasis to the concept because it has been a Young Soul world shifting to Mature Soul for a long time. It is difficult to transcend the resonance of considering how one matters. [MEntity] The first part of this workshop's activities is to respond to the following question: CREATE A LIST OF 5 THAT MATTERS TO YOU. This list is not definitive, but a sampling. Let whatever comes to your mind or heart be heard in this moment, and list those 5. It is okay if more come to you after that list. [MEntity] *****LIST OF 5***** [brian] 5 people, topics, events? [MEntity] We leave that to you. [GeraldineB] Things that matter to me: the internet, my computer, the Michael Teachings, the Project, completing my 5th IM [DianeHB] Tex, my family, friends, the Michael Teachings, sustaining prosperity [brian] security, self-expression, ability to make a positive lasting impact to others by helping and teaching, figuring out where I "belong" in the world, and being accepted and relatable to others [Janet] Supporting my daughters in pursuing their life goals, Ensuring that my Mom and Dad are okay , Leaving a positive legacy in my work, Being perceived as a pleasant person, Being creative whenever possible in things I do at home or at work [Bobby] (in no particular order) Marty, my home, my cats, my freedom, this teaching [ClaireC] Family, friends, Ecology - all animals, plants, oceans, communication and Love. [IngunD] Joy, me, my sons, family/friends, the earth [Maureen] That “everything” be understood, people’s health and well-being that I come into contact with, sleep, rest, physical “security” [MEntity] We will return to these. [MEntity] As we stated in the beginning of our discussion: there are two primary ways one tends to matter: perceptually/figuratively, and directly/literally. [MEntity] How one matters perceptually/figuratively is how one contemplates how one matters when alone. [MEntity] It could be described as how you see yourself. [MEntity] How you interpret yourself. [MEntity] But not just how you interpret yourself, but how you interpret yourself in the SPACE between EVENTS. [brian] could you give an example of what you mean by the "space between events?" [MEntity] Though only a minor play on words, "Matter" is always, almost completely, made up of SPACE. [MEntity] The depth you determine you matter is often defined in that space/time between experiences, between events, in your "down time," your aloneness, your fragmentation. [MEntity] No Essence or Personality is bombarded with experience 100% of the time; there is always space/time between those experiences, and this where perceptual matter comes in. [MEntity] This is inclusive of your Reviews, both within life and between lives, and your time between relationships, between events, within your boredom, your meditation, your dreams, etc. [MEntity] MOST of your life is aloneness. MOST of your life is the space between. This is because you are never where you are not, but you can often be where others are not, or where nothing is happening. This is not a sad or bad thing. It is a natural function of this universe. [MEntity] How you matter to you, then, is often determined in that space between, reflective of how matter exists in the universe. You are made up of the same materials, functions, and properties that can be found in the physics and quantum physics of matter, and so it is not merely novel to draw parallels to how you define the depth and degree of your own matter. [MEntity] This degree and depth of perceptual matter helps define the degree and depth of Manifestation of True Personality and Essence. [MEntity] It is the medium through which Essence Manifesting, and True Personality emerge. [MEntity] This entire function of perceptual matter is managed in the Personality by the ATTITUDE. [MEntity] How you perceive and interpret the world through your primary philosophy helps to determine the space between events, people, experiences, and how you determine how you matter to you. [MEntity] If your Attitude is in the Negative Pole, how you feel you matter may decline in value. [MEntity] If your Attitude is in the Positive Pole, how you feel you matter may increase in value. [MEntity] We describe this angle on how you matter as being perceptual or figurative, because it is not truly measurable. It is self-determined, and cannot be determined by anyone but you. [MEntity] However, it WILL BE what you present to others. [MEntity] Your Attitude is the first Overleaf offered up when interacting with others. [MEntity] In nearly every social exchange, it is the Attitude that is the primary medium. [MEntity] It is where you display your self-esteem, your trust, your confidence. [MEntity] It is how you display how you matter to you. [MEntity] And this is determined by you in your aloneness. [MEntity] Depending upon where one is in this determination can play out as activating the Chief Negative Features for protection of one's values, or for expressing, representing one's values. [MEntity] This is one of the reasons why Meditation is considered seriously as a matter of healthfulness for being extant, as it brings to the forefront of your consciousness the truth of your aloneness, your existence, and when you can sit with this, you increase your capacity for matter. [MEntity] Keep in mind that "meditation" includes a spectrum of methods that is not limited to simply sitting in a lotus position, but is a practice in allowing singularity, both in focus and in presence. [MEntity] Regardless of your Attitude, its poles, or where it may "slide," a quick check in with your Intellectual Center can help you to determine in the moment where you are in your Attitude and its expression of how you matter. [MEntity] Regardless of your Centering, the Intellectual Center is hooked into the Attitude Overleaf. [MEntity] The Intellectual Center is polarized by INSIGHT vs REASON. [MEntity] So a quick check in with yourself in terms of where you are in how you matter to you is to pay attention to how you interact socially, but also whether you bring Insight to those exchanges, or Reason. [MEntity] REASON is expressed in justifications, explanations, causes, usually removing oneself or another from an equation. [MEntity] INSIGHT is the capacity for accurate, intuitive comprehension of a person or event, inclusive of all parts of the equation. [MEntity] Insight will include Reason, but Reason will function differently than when it is exclusive of Insight. When Reason is a part of Insight, it is logical, critical, rational thinking, whereas when Reason is exclusive of Insight, it tends toward defense, excuses, blame. [MEntity] Reason within Insight is the parts that helped bring the whole of Insight, the bricks that build the platform. Reason without Insight is still bricks, but usually just thrown from where one stands, if you will. [MEntity] Does this make sense? [Janet] The description of insight vs. reason makes sense. [Janet] I don't yet see application to the topic. But I'm sure it's coming. [DianeHB] yes, it makes sense [MEntity] We will try to clarify here, then. [IngunD] yes [MEntity] How one perceives oneself in terms of matter is expressed through the Attitude. The degree to which one is in the positive pole of the Attitude is the degree to which one has determined one matters, and the degree to which one might be in the negative pole is the degree to which one may still feel one does not matter. [MEntity] This plays out in social scenarios and exchanges. [Janet] I see that. [brian] I understood that part [MEntity] This is because this is where one carries self-esteem, confidence, and trust, and how that is built, which is determined by how one matters to oneself, or perceives she matters. QUESTIONS [MEntity] We will take your question, then, to help us determine if we can clarify further, or if it is a matter of continuing on. [brian] I think I know what the answer will be, but I'll ask the question anyway [brian] how do we figure out how we matter to ourselves? [MEntity] Brian - here are a few considerations for determining your perceptual matter, or how you matter to you: the degree to which one can be alone without being lonely; the degree to which one can express his values without defense; the degree to which one allows trust; the degree to which one is confident. [MEntity] Keep in mind that we say "HOW" one matters, not "whether" one matters. You will always matter, but HOW you matter is what may matter to you. How one matters is described by your determination of how you "matter to the world," and/or "matter to others." [brian] That may explain why I think of "utility" when you say "how one matters" because I am seeing it through the lens of the pragmatist attitude [MEntity] When one of those excludes the other, it can be painful and heavy, or when there is a lack of connection between the two as extremes. [MEntity] Whomever may wish to ask a question at this point can do so, regarding what we have shared, so far. [GeraldineB] Does one's CF trigger the negative pole of Attitude or vice versa? [MEntity] Geraldine, it is the latter. Chief Negative Features are passive. They can only be activated by another Overleaf. [MEntity] We will continue. [MEntity] The other way one matters is in terms of Direct or Literal ways. [MEntity] This is managed in the Personality by the GOAL. [MEntity] This tends to play out in how you impact "the world" or "others." [MEntity] The emphasis here is on "impact." [MEntity] That is because the Moving Center is hooked into every Goal, regardless of your Centering. [MEntity] You can determine how you feel you matter in terms of impact by checking in with the Positive and Negative Poles of the Moving Center. [MEntity] This is a spectrum between PRODUCTIVE and FRUSTRATED. [MEntity] Your Goal is something that is never completed, with no finish lines, but is a state or quality your Essence/Personality aims to create, sustain, and share as an impact on the world and others. [MEntity] The more one tends toward the Positive Pole of the Goal, toward being Productive, the more one tends to determine that one matters. [MEntity] To the degree that you feel you create, sustain, and share the impact of your Goal, is often the degree to which you feel your presence and participation matter to the world and to others. [MEntity] Though the Goal, in itself, is not always something obvious and tangible, the impact of the effort to create, sustain, and share it is entirely measured in tangibility. [MEntity] Your Productivity or Frustration at any given moment helps to describe where you are in that aim for the Goal. [MEntity] And this, in turn, helps you to determine how you matter. [MEntity] OUR NEXT QUESTION: [MEntity] Do you see a similarity or a discrepancy between how you feel you matter to you, and how you feel you matter in impact? Do you feel they are difficult to differentiate? [GeraldineB] I think that's a nuance that's too fine for me to really grasp [Janet] I really think how I matter to me has an effect on how I matter in impact. [brian] I'm still seeing / experiencing so much through the negative poles that it seems the same to me. I haven't built up a gradient to be able to see the difference yet [Maureen] I feel there is a direct correlation between my impact in the world and how I see I matter. I wish it didn't matter to me -- but it does. [IngunD] How I matter to me influences how I matter in impact [brian] the only distinction I have is when others tell me that I'm making an impact, but it doesn't feel like one to me [GeraldineB] I think I'm usually at a place of just assuming that I have an impact, regardless of whether or not I can see it [DianeHB] I matter to me, though I have more doubts about how I matter in impact. [MEntity] The next part of our discussion on how you matter may bring this together into some realizations for each of you. [MEntity] As with most of our teaching, there is no isolation of parts, but a circuitry and networking that is beautiful and vast. [MEntity] In terms of how one matters, to the self, or in impact, to others, to the world, or both, and whether those are positive or negative, all ties back to your MODE. [MEntity] The MODE is the fuel for both the Goal and the Attitude in the circuitry for how one feels one matters at all. [MEntity] That is because the Mode is where you develop your CORE VALUES. Your Core Values are at the hub of what you use for determining how you matter in all ways. [MEntity] Your list of 5 is relevant here. [MEntity] To the degree that you IMPACT or EXPRESS those values is the degree to which you feel you matter. [MEntity] Core Values develop from how one RELATES, which is described by the Mode. [MEntity] The Emotional Center, or Inspiration, is hooked into the Mode, and thereby one's Core Values, regardless of one's Centering. Therefore, Core Values describe the medium that you use for REFLECTION or PROJECTION. [MEntity] HOW YOU MATTER IN IMPACT, TO YOU, TO OTHERS, TO THE WORLD is dependent upon your pursuit, fulfillment, creation, nurturing, sharing, etc. of those Core Values. These are either Reflected in your impact, in yourself, in others, and in the world, or you Project those Core Values upon those things. [MEntity] Even in your short list of Core Values, you will see the clues that shape your sense of matter. [MEntity] That list shifts, changes, evolves, updates, etc. but there is always a list. [MEntity] OUR NEXT QUESTIONS: Do each of you see how your list fuels your sense of how you matter? Do you see how these play into your Attitude and Goal, as they are expressed or used for motivation for impact? [MEntity] This list is not just about what matters to you, but how you wish to matter in the world, to others, and to yourself. [brian] under that guidance yes (took the thoughts and question right out of my head again) [Maureen] yes -- I do. It's like an entangled loop. [Janet] I see the connections [DianeHB] I can see it [ClaireC] Yes. [Bobby] I'll think on it some more [GeraldineB] I see the correlation [MEntity] ANOTHER QUESTION: Does it matter to you that you can map out the ways in which you determine you matter? [brian] yes [DianeHB] yes [ClaireC] Yes. [Janet] The connections you have pointed out between centers and attitude, goal and mode are enlightening and the interconnection makes mapping out the ways I matter valuable. [Bobby] yes [MEntity] Your Overleaves are far more than quaint Personality characteristics. It is a simple system that holds many truths about you. [IngunD] yes [Janet] I see those awesome connections more and more. [MEntity] The discussion of how one matters in a life is not a trivial discussion for comfort, but is entirely relevant to how one uses the Overleaves, how one brings oneself into the world and experiences oneself within. [MEntity] You matter. How you matter, is up to you. [MEntity] A final layer of consideration here is that your list of Core Values of the Mode, and how those play out through your Goal and Attitude, helps determine who and what matters TO you, as well. [MEntity] Today we explored how you matter, and how you matter determines everything about how everything else matters TO you. [MEntity] To conclude today, we will say again that you matter. There is no way around this. How you matter is up to you. The spectrum of how you matter is defined by the impact and expression of your Core Values to yourself, the world, and others. [ClaireC] Thanks for the great material, Michael. [Janet] Really really helpful to me right now. [MEntity] It may be difficult to quantify how one feels or thinks one matters, so this is another example of how the simple effort and consciousness of working with the positive and negative poles of your Overleaves can affect far more than meets the eye. [MEntity] Whatever method works best for you in moving toward True Personality, and Manifestation of Essence, works to define how you matter. [MEntity] Good day to each of you.   2. Michael Speaks: Healing and Healers May 8, 2011 Channel: Troy Tolley MEntity: Hello to everyone. We are here now. We can begin on the subject of Healing & Healers. We will, first, define "Healing" and "Healers." We will define Healing as "a return to, extraction of, or an imposition of Order from Chaos" and Healer as "that which, or those whom, facilitate the return to, extraction of, or imposition of Order from Chaos." Wounding, however it manifests, is Chaos, or at least seeming Chaos. There are really only 7 ways in which a Body can die, or be wounded. These 7 ways can overlap, and some may be able to refine these to a greater degree than we have through this channel, but those 7 Basic Ways of Wounding/Dying would be: Illness, Poisoning, Impact, Impaling, Suffocation, Starvation/Dehydration, and Natural/Shutdown. Each of these can bring wounding or death, and can be brought to any Body, including the Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, and "Spiritual" Bodies. Some of the terms would not be so literal in terms of the less-tangible Bodies, but are relevant terms. Death and Wounding are parts of the experience of the Higher Moving Center, which is the spectrum between Chaos and Beauty. Beauty is simply the recognition of patterns versus the lack of recognition of patterns that is Chaos. We use the term "recognition" because often the difference between Chaos and Beauty is a matter of recognition, or perception, and is a relative state. There are those who "suffer" wounding in ways that "should" bring about a great deal of Chaos, but those individuals return to, extract from, or impose a new order from the chaos in a way that is HEALING. There are those who have "no reason" to suffer and have lost all recognition of order, or beauty, in the life, and these individuals can truly be wounded. And so it is that the differences between Wounding and Healing are as "simple" as the differences between Chaos and Beauty. And so it is that the difference between Wounding and Death are the differences between Chaos and Beauty, as well. Wounding is Chaos. Death is Order/Beauty. Every Personality and Lifetime will explore the spectrum between Order and Chaos, but will always end in Order as a means for Review in the afterlife, and Death is that process of returning everything back to Order, or Beauty. Order can also be returned within the life through HEALING, and since not everyone wants to die as a means to regain Order, there is a necessity for HEALERS. This necessity is vital enough that it is one of the 12 Primary Support Positions within any Circle of Support. This means that every single fragment has at least one Healer accessible at all times in every incarnation and beyond. This may seem a rather sweeping generalization as there are many who suffer without apparent access to healing, but this apparent lack of access is a result of complications that are often unnecessary and are products of choice. A society can become rather powerful in imprinting various individuals to only accept the standardized methods and providers of Healing, which may or may not have helped. The Healing that a fragment may require is not always as obvious as his or her wounding. But the Healer and Healing that a fragment most-requires is ALWAYS accessible in some way. The first key in accessing that is through the realization of the fact that no Healer or Healing can actually HEAL; they can only facillitate Healing and Healing Methods. The only one who can ever truly heal you, is you. The individual can always override a Healer and Healing. However, the necessity for Healers is because often the first step to True Healing is in the ASKING FOR HELP. Wounding, or the plunge into Chaos within a lifetime, is a vital part of the experience of living because it is one of the few states or experiences that can be explored that provokes the Universal Truth of Oneness, or in simpler terms, the fact that you are not alone. Ever. Even if the Wounding leads to Death, or if someone's asking for help is still met with Death, the profound validity of that Oneness and the necessity for reaching out, is often registered in ways that are never lost by Essence. The 7 Ways to Die, or 7 Methods of Wounding, correspond to the Axes in ways that can often shed light for Healing and for Healers. Illness and Poisoning are Inspirational-based Woundings/Deaths. Impaling/Impact are Action-based Wounding/Deaths. Suffocation/Starvation are Expression-based Woundings/Deaths; and Shutting Down/Natural methods are Assimilative. Some of these are obvious, and some may not be so clear, and while we offer up these correlations, we will not say that they are rules or static associations. For example, we can say that MOST Illnesses or intaking of Poisons are MOSTLY related to issues of Self-Esteem, which are extensions of the Chief Features of Self-deprecation and Arrogance. This kind of statement can be explored in a multitude of ways. The immune system is directly connected to Self-Esteem, and so it goes that any fluctuation in Self-Esteem is a fluctuation in Immunity. Self-deprecation is almost always at the core of Illness. The toxins that one takes in without question or concern through his or her eating of poor diet, might be an example of Arrogance at the core of slow Poisoning of the body. And so on... There are only 4 ways through which any of these 7 Methods of Wounding/Death can be implemented: Suicide, Homicide, Accident, and Natural, each corresponding to an Axis; Inspirational, Action, Expression, and Assimilative, respectively. Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers. And there are only ever 3 methods of Healing: through Truth, Love, or Energy. Facilitating Order within the Chaos of the Truth, Love, or Energy of an individual. This means that Healers range far beyond those who actively practice Healing, or those who specifically work with the various Bodies. In fact, every single one of you are Healers in at least one other Fragment's Circle of Support in every life. If this were not so, then Healers and Healing would not be so accessible to every fragment. One does not have to identify with being a "healer" to be a Healer. If you help to bring Order to someone's Chaos, you are a Healer. If you help someone to experience, comprehend, see, feel, or hear the Beauty that is inherent in any part of his or her life, you are a Healer. Anyone who can help others to bring Order to the Truth, Love, or Energy in someone's life, is a Healer. Whether this is done actively and consciously, or passively and unconsciously, does not matter. And so it is that each of you will always be in a position to HEAL YOUR OWN LIFE, which by definition simply means to bring Beauty to the Chaos of it, whether this be in Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, or Spiritual form. Bringing Beauty or Order to any part of your life helps to bring that Healing into every Body you are. Often, for instance, the Chaos that is in your Physical Body can only be masked by the treatments offered for the symptoms that this Body exhibits, but the True Healing would come from the Beauty/Order that is brought to your Emotional Body/Life. Much of what passes for Healing is only Treatment. Treatment is necessary, and is not a "bad thing," but it is not Healing. Understanding the various correlations above, and the 3 methods of Healing as they correlate to Wounding, can also shed light on the requirements for True Healing. For instance, those who are Wounded by Illness or Posioning usually require True Love for True Healing. Those who are wounded by Impaling or Impact often require True Order for True Healing; those who are wounded by Suffocation/Starvation often require The Truth for for True Healing. Keep in mind that there is a limitation on language here that can make some of these correlations seem confusing, so we encourage creative understanding here so that the terms are not always literal. For instance, it might sound strange that Impaling or Impact requires True Order/Beauty, but if you think of these Wounding correlations as extensions of Martyrdom and Impatience, both rooted in fears of losing Control, you might see why any healing would require a shift in understanding the nature of Beauty and Order. A fragment who is thrown through a windsheild because of his Impatience might be an example. A fragment who is rendered lifeless because of the "impaling" of her heart by the rejection of a loved one might be another example. Being Wounded and Being Healed are MESSY. There is no hard, clean, perfect correlation, and there is often a great deal of overlapping of correlations, so we offer these insights only as guidelines for those who explore Healing, or need Healing. ALL Wounding is a progression that begins INTELLECTUALLY, then EMOTIONALLY, and then PHYSICALLY. This means that if Wounding has come to the level of Physicality, it is almost assured that there is Wounding "up through" the Emotions and Intellect. When we say "All wounding," we mean ALL. Even "Accidents." This does not mean that Wounding is a fault of the Wounded, but it is often a result of a path of choices, internally and externally, that led to the state that allowed for, or created, the Wounding. Even in cases of Homicide. Again, this is not a matter of fault or choices made on obvious levels, but there is something to the fact that two people can be in the same place at the same time doing the same things and only one is Wounded. [liiona24] Please comment on the validity Of the Reconnection As brought forth by Eric Pearl as " new" Healing energy There is no "new" healing energy. All Healing is essentially the return of Order from Chaos, however that is described or packaged, tangibly or intangibly. There are many illnesses in modern times that are susceptible to "miracles" or "energy healing" because the illness never truly existed in the dimension from which it was diagnosed, such as AIDS, Cancers, several other chronic issues. This is not to say that there are no such things as collapses of immune systems, or Cancers, or other chronic issues, but those categories have a percentage of diagnoses that are valid diagnoses at one point, but because the "illness" is not Physically-rooted, the return of Order to the Emotions, or Intellect, can "cure" the "illness." Often, the return of Order to the Intellect and Emotion does not require Physical Healing, or Treatment, but a simple shift in beliefs or feelings. Energetic Healing can ONLY ever return order to the Intellect or Emotion, which may then result in being reflected Physically, of course. When we say "Energetic" here, we refer to those practices that would not require Physical contact in any way. In short, to clarify with Marion: we think the idea of "The Reconnection" is more likely a "Repackaging" of ideals and energies that have always been available. This is not to say that the repackaging is "bad," because even our own teaching requires repackaging for different students with different capacities for hearing us. [Nicholas] When Dr. Pearl and others refer to "new" healing, could they be referring to the validity that as a collective, we are opening up to more possibilities of healing as a reflection of the shift to Mature Soul paradigm? In response to Nicholas: we cannot speak on the behalf of the fragment who is known as "Dr. Pearl," or his associates, but we can say that a Mature-based Paradigm would have far more validity to the concept of "Energetic" healing, since most Emotional and Intellectual Wounding would also be considered as valid. In a Young-based paradigm, most Healing is only considered valid on the levels of the tangible. It is only in recent years, relatively speaking, that the concept of Therapy was considered something of validity."Therapy," in terms of Psychologists, Pscyho-, etc. [TimW] Can you please elaborate a little more on what you said, "Extrapolating meaning from those correlation to Axes can shed light on those methods, as well, for Healers"? Possibly a couple of examples with relation to physical "energetic" healing (if time permits)? For example, Tim, those who are wounded from attempted Homicide would clearly benefit from healing that focuses on the Action Axis, so that a sense of Order for that individual's Time or Space is vital, or put another way: that the Martyrom and Impatience is addressed. Those who suffer from the wounding of attempted Homicides do well to have had their sense of Control brought into focus for their lives in some way, because Homicide, or Impaling/Impact, on a Body CAN throw the entire life into absolute lack of control. For those who are wounded by the methods of Suicide, it is vital that Inspiration is brought back into his or her life. Suicides are usually the result of Inspirational elements collapsing into Chaos, so a return to Order in that context can help bring about True Healing. We realize that "Suicide" is also the Negative Pole of Self-destruction, which is an Expression Axis Chief Feature, but this is another example of Context. In the context of Methods for implementing Wounding, Suicide correlates to Inspiration. In the context of Results of Fear, Suicide correlates to Expression. For those who are Wounded by Accidents, there is a necessity for those fragments to understand "the message" in the "Accident," as all Accidents are Expressions, or Messages. In fact, there are no "accidents," but it is a valid category for understanding how Wounding is implemented, and Accidents equal Messages. Healers, then, would help that fragment to understand what "lesson" or "message" might have been in the accident. [Diane_H] Can you explain the difference between Intellectual and Emotional healing? Are they often intertwined? Intellectual Healing would require the Order returned to the Intellect, or the Intellectual Center to return to the Positive Pole of INSIGHT. This is usually a matter of returning the fragment to a state of honesty about his or her life in a way that brings that Insight, instead of a chronic state of REASON. A chronic state of Reason will bring the Intellect into a constant state of overdrive, looking for patterns that are not there, or creating patterns that are not valid, forcing justifications, reasons, explanations for that which is not understood. This, then, can lead to affect the Emotional Center in a way that pulls the Emotions into a chronic state of Negative Pole, which is Sentimentality. Sentimentality is the confusion and blurring between Symbols and Meanings, and when Symbols and Meanings become confused, Beliefs are generated. And so the Intellect that forced a false pattern then begins to believe it in the Emotions. A simplistic example would be in one who might Think that someone's intentions were to hurt her, and so begins to believe that this person did hurt her, because she can feel that hurt. But the truth will have been that she forced an explanation or a reason for someone else's choices that she did not like, and then the person who symbolized "Love" for her is gone, so that means "love" is also gone, and now she has become Intellectually and Emotionally wounded. To bring Healing to her Emotionally, she will have to regain the Order that allows for a person to symbolize Love, but does not confuse the conduit of Love for Love, itself. [Diane_H] So it could be said that Intellectual wounding comes from one's interpretation of symbols, and Emotional wounding is the emotion that result from it? If the Healing is not addressed Intellectually or Emotionally, it can then move into Physicality, and she will either open up to, or create a path to, Homicide, Suicide, Accident, or Natural methods of implementing one of the 7 Woundings. Yes, Diane, that could be one way of describing a pattern, though we might clarify the statement to read: Intellectual Wounding can come from False or Forced Interpretation, and Emotional Wounding is the Belief/Feelings that support in that Falsehood or Forced Interpretation. [Kathryn41] I assume that 'wounding' can also be a 'choice' for a life experience, but how often does the choice to experience one type of wounding lead to a collateral type of wounding, for example, a consequence of choosing a body type that allows for the chosen wounding to occur but experiencing an additional injury/illness that came along because of that body type? We will say here that it is rare that Wounding is CHOSEN, though sometimes, it is. What is a more accurate way to understand the nature of Choice, in this regard, is that Wounding is often a RESULT of Choices. [Kathryn41] the example I can use is a child with type 1 diabetes - born with the condition - a chosen condition more easily manifested in lunar body and then later in life experiencing another type of injury for which the lunar body is especially susceptible A Body Type is chosen that may have predispositions to certain health issues or deformities, but it was not necessarily the health issues or deformities that were chosen, but that they were hooked in to other choices that were more important as priorities. For instance, an Essence may have thought it was a great idea, or a great method for balancing Karma, to choose a Body Type that may lend itself to a sort of dependency that allowed for kindness, patience, and Love to come into the experiences of the Personality, from within and without. Often these "great ideas" go in all kinds of directions once the life is in motion, but that is part of the Chaos and Beauty that is inherent in any life, even in the most-perfect of body with the most-perfect of plans and Karma-free life. [Oscar] What would those wounded by natural/shutting down need for True Healing, or is there no healing possible since it's natural? UNDERSTANDING. That is all. Those who are Wounded by Natural Causes/Shutting Down can often do best with a simple bit of comfort in Wisdom shared with him or her or from him or her. In terms of Wounding/Dying, Natural Causes/Shutting Down is about bringing comprehension to the moment about the life before exiting, and this can show up as the life "flashing before their eyes," or from loved ones around the bed side, etc. In terms of Wounding/Dying, it might even be better understood as "Gratitude" that is a part of the Healing. In terms of Implementation, with something like a Natural Disaster which may bring Impact, Impaling, Illness, Poison, etc, it can still be helpful for those who experienced that Implementation to grasp the nature of Nature, so that it is not seen as personal. Though it will always be the most-helpful to focus on the actual Method of Wounding, for Healing purposes. [VLS] Is there any healing that can be done with the dying involving touch, if so can you advise the best approach-thank you ALL Physical forms of Healing affect Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual Bodies, whereas Emotional Healing can only affect Emotional and Intellectual Bodies, and Intellectual Healing is limited to Intellectual Bodies. This is because the denser the form of Healing, the more it can be accessed by the subtler Bodies. This is not to say that Emotional Healing cannot bring about Physical Healing, but it would not be direct. Physical Healing, or rather, having a Physical Medium for Healing, can bring about multiple layers of Energy for use in the multiple bodies. For instance, your Touch can bring with it the Comfort that is of the Physical Level of Healing, the Affection that is the Emotional Level of Healing, and the Permission that is the Intellectual Level of Healing. We are speaking to you about a very specific kind of Touch that you bring, and not all Touch would bring that same kind of Healing. A simple resting of the hand on the person who is exiting is enough, and in some cases, the moving of the energy of the bodies through use of swirls and various contact points, can be the form that is used. We will clarify here that all Bodies are interconnected in many ways, so the Healing that is offered without Physicality does not mean it will not help the Physical Bodies. And not all Physical contact is a form of Healing, but is often forms of Treatment. For instance, the Emergency Room of a Hospital is mostly-filled with Treatments, not Healing. Healing often comes later. [DavidB] Someone asked me to pose this question: "What makes one healer more effective than another?" RESONANCE. There is no Healing between a Healer and The Wounded without Resonance. This is why even the most "whackadoodle" of false healers can bring about such "miracles" (which is a term to describe false or misunderstood forms of Beauty from Chaos) because there is Resonance between the two fragments. And it is why the consistency of even the most powerful Healers cannot facilitate Healing for everyone, because there must be Resonance. Resonance can only come through Empathy, which is built from Experience, which may or may not always come from within the current lifetime. In other words, one can only truly facilitate Healing for that which he or she has already healed within himself or herself, even if that healing came in other lives. We know this is a rather broad topic, but we think we have covered enough tonight for some provocation of thought and exploration that may shed insight into the experience of Healing and Wounding. Today we are asked to speak of the micro versions of you that make up what you consider to be "you." There is not a single form of consciousness, in a body, or outside of a body, that is not "made up" of smaller parts, if you will. There is no "beginning" or "end" to this that we can see. We know there must be, but we have not found it, nor have we seen it. There is a kind of fractal beauty in this structure of existence, and "we" are one part of that. By extension, there is not a single one of you who are not part of something larger in context. This subject is far too vast to cover in one sitting, but a valid teaching will always strive to help one to understand the whole that is greater than the sum of the parts, while helping to understand those parts. Today we will speak only of that which makes up your existence unique to being extant. However, your Essence is also a complex structure that is built from parts. It is not merely a sphere that moves from one body to the next. It is an ever-evolving geometry that grows in complexity and beauty as experiences are gained. The same is true of "you" as a Personality and body. Understanding the dynamics of the parts that are you may not change a lot in terms of how you live, but understanding those parts can help you to feel a wholeness, an embrace, a sense of dynamic aliveness that is not simply about getting through the day. You are a complex and beautiful ecosystem of existence. How you feel about those parts makes a difference in how those parts function together as you. The health of one's body is definitely affected by material input, such as healthy or damaging diet, exercise or strain, psychological balance or stress, etc., but it is also affected by "everything" that is you, including your thoughts and feelings. WELLNESS is always directly affected by all of you and how you feel about you. ILLNESS is often a byproduct of you and how you feel about you, but not always. Illness, like any other form of scathing, can come simply because you crossed paths with it. It is simply a part of the obstacles of the Physical Plane. So while illness can be linked directly to one's choices, and intellectual and emotional processes, it is not always the case. You can get sick just because bodies can get sick. We differentiate WELLNESS from ILLNESS here because you can control your Wellness, but not always your Illness. There are many who are Ill, but uphold their Wellness. Wellness is the cohesion of the parts that make up the greater sum that is you. There are many who discover illness and there is no reversing this, leading to death, but this does not mean wellness was missing. Illness does not mean one has done something wrong, and health does not mean one is doing something right. So, the first thing we would suggest for all of our students is to focus on WELLNESS. The wholeness of you, the cohesion and inclusion of all that is you, including illness, forgetting, depression, craving, loving, hating, frustration, joy, etc., ALL of it is you. The more this truth is understood, the more one's wellness increases so that choices can be made that better serve wellness. For example, you may be frustrated and angry, but that is not ALL THAT YOU ARE. But accepting that you are frustrated and angry frees you to include the options for effectiveness and creativity. Being frustrated and angry is not the same thing as being permanently ineffective and incapable of creative problem solving. Focus on your Wellness, your greatest state of inclusion, and this is Love. This helps every part of your Being, both in terms that are limited to biology and being extant, and in terms of existence as consciousness. To return to the more specific discussion of "you" as a collection of parts, we will start with how your body is built in ways that reflect the awesome structure of the universe. Each of you as bodies can be said to be a complex organism that is built from 7 tiers that range from the simple to the wholeness that is complexity. "YOU" exist as YOU because of a vast collection of parts that work together to allow for your existence as consciousness in the media of matter. No matter what your beliefs, your ideologies, your position, your state of mind, your condition, your choices, you cannot escape that you are built from from these 7 tiers: ATOMS, MOLECULES, CELLS, TISSUES, ORGANS, SYSTEMS, and finally, the whole that is the ORGANISM. On the most basic of these tiers, it is the SERVER TIER, the Atoms. In the same way that existence could not be sustained as a Design without Servers, neither could existence in material form. Atoms are not Servers, of course, but this layer of existence in form correlates to the entire concept of Servers. The Artisan Tier is how those Atoms come together. The multitude of combinations of Atoms that become Molecules is the Artisan tier of existence in form. Molecules form into Cells that become the most basic functions and protections of an Organism. This is the Warrior tier of existence in Form. Cells create cohesive networks of Tissue that reflects the Scholar tier of existence in form. Without the vast variations of arrangements that can come from Tissue, there would not be Organs, which run the communication and dissemination systems of the Organism: the Sage tier. Organ Systems are the sympathetic and empathetic combinations of Organs working together for the benefit of the whole, or large parts of the whole. This is the Priest tier. And the wholeness that comes to be the entirety, the wholeness that is greater than the sum of its parts, is the King tier. This is where consciousness comes in, and allows for some form of choice to make a difference over all other tiers, either passively or actively. This is the Organism. We wish to clarify here that your own Role or Casting does not give some hidden clue to which tier you relate to the most, or control the most in your body. The tiers we describe are correlations, but nothing more. These tiers are a reflection of the awesome order of the universe, and how it functions from the greatest contexts to the most minute. Before we continue, we will open the floor here for questions or comments on what has been shared so far. AnnaElisa: Hello, Michael! Autoimmune diseases, in which the body attacks its own organs/parts, are becoming more and more common. What makes the body attack itself and, apart from eating right and trying to live as healthy as possible in order to keep the antibodies down, what message do autoimmune disorders carry, if any, to us as individuals and as a community, and how can one learn to live with them or confront them on a deeper level? Thanks! MEntity: Nearly all autoimmune diseases are a result of chronic self-esteem issues. In the same way that the psyche of the individual will "attack" itself in constant destructive criticism, dislike, disgust, and loathing of the self, repulsion of the self, anger at not being like an ideal, eventually take a toll. AnnH: Funny how that happens. MEntity: The programming of the various lower tiers begins to follow the commands of the greater tier. For those who accepted any imprinting of self-loathing from media, caretakers, peers, or even as part of the social contract of false humility, autoimmune issues can develop. Currently, the most prevalent Chief Features among humanity's members are Arrogance and Self-deprecation, the two Chief Features most directly linked to self-esteem. Even if one does not have these Chief Features, the paradigm almost insists that you comply as a part of the social contract of protecting one's vulnerability and never allowing for incompetence or failure. You must hide who you are in some way, and only display your successes. LadTheHun: Facebook! MEntity: This has been in effect for a long time because of the Young Soul paradigm, but this is shifting. The move toward Martyrdom and Impatience will bring a different wave of ailments. TyroneT: How much does Michael have insight on the physical plane bodies and organisms and how consciousness interact with them? TyroneT: As in, what's the limit to their knowledge? TyroneT: (or what can be channeled) TyroneT: In future sessions, I'd like to delve deeply into the mechanisms of how consciousness interacts with our organic matter, but I don't know how detailed Troy can get. TyroneT: If it has to do with his working knowledge and it's possible to extend or help this, I'd like to know how (i.e. can maybe a working group's akashic knowledge help with that? or a scholar's intentional global akashic uploading) MEntity: Troy has no considerable limits in that regard. His limitations would come in the form of terminology that may relate to the medical field, or in terminology that could describe something more succinctly than a long, roundabout description. Sometimes we have to describe what could otherwise have been summed up in one term, if the limitation were not present. A simplistic example might be if we wished to convey the term "fuel" in regard to a discussion about automobiles, but had to use "the liquid that runs through the system that helps the engine move the wheels." Beyond this, we would have to say, we do not know what our limits are, or what Troy's limits are, until the questions have been asked. If one is willing to work around any discovered limitations, then they can almost always be worked around in some way. GeraldineB: I'm just making sure by requesting further explanation during this session for all of the colonies of various viruses and bacteria which inhabit our bodies and act in both what we deem to be beneficial or non-beneficial ways. So, this isn't really a Q -- just a request. MEntity: Yes, we will move into that area next. To continue... In terms of your complex colonial organism that is "you," there is a universe of existence within you that is just as much "you" as any of the tiers. While the condition and state of each tier can make a great difference in one's experience of the body, and affect how you make choices, it is on the microbial level that the effects move into the whole that is the Personality and its behaviors. We will include viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites in this. Viruses represent a kind of dimension of you that deals with the reprogramming of cells, most often in destructive ways. Though a virus can be harnessed for benefit, the virus tends to be detrimental in effect. Viruses correlate to the Inspirational Axis and tend to reflect any imbalances that one is addressing related to Inspiration and Emotion. The "common cold" is a direct and readily available example of this, in that when one does not process grief, sadness, disappointment, etc., it can show up as a "cold." The reason we correlate Viruses to the Inspirational Axis is because they often function similar to how Priests and Servers must function as a means to help one to deal with issues that have been resisted, either in personal terms or even social terms. So the concept of Viruses is reflected in greater contexts, as well, such as religion being a social virus. Bacteria would relate to the Action Axis, functioning in both effective beneficial ways and in destructive ways, all in ways that are reflected by the poles of the Roles on that Axis. Bacteria can be tyrannical and coercive, or help lead wellness and persuade beneficial choices. Of the various microbes, bacteria are the most directly relevant in terms of how the Personality functions as a baseline. The healthier one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated an individual. The more imbalanced one's ecosystem of bacteria, the more agitation, anxiousness, depression, and addictiveness. Bacteria are reflected in society in terms of how groups work together or against one another in their attempts to control, influence, and bring change. Fungi would be the Expressive of the microbes, producing spores that continue to propagate and disseminate. As with Expression Axis, this can come in the form of propagation and dissemination for the sake of itself, or for the benefit of all involved. Parasites would fall into the Assimilation Axis as this can be an umbrella term to include any of the other categories. The parasitic nature of all microbes allows for their sustained existence, "for better or worse" for the host. This subject cannot be fully explored in one exchange, but what we have shared today can help each of you to consider the dimensions of yourself that exist right here, right now, that carry your consciousness. You are not just what existed before and after this incarnation, but you exist as an entire ecosystem of consciousness in various forms. This microbial world contributes to your navigation in terms of DIET, SOCIAL EXCHANGES, STRESS, and FUNCTIONS OF THE BODY. You exist as a complex organism, that hosts other organisms, and that exists as one part of an even larger complex organism. You are atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, systems, and the entirety of these things as the complex organism. You are not just soul, not just Essence, not just Personality. You will live and die just fine without ever considering these other dimensions of existence as "you," but if you choose to explore these as a means of loving the self, as a means of bring cohesion to the parts that are you, and as a means of increasing your wellness, it is all there for you to consider. Today we are asked to discuss each of the Centers/Chakras, not only in terms of their nature, but in fairly personal terms of where and how you are with the health, function, habits, blocks, and balance of your own. Instinctive Center - Regulates Choice What we will do is speak a bit about the Instinctive Center, then address that Center for each of you who are present, then the Lower Centers, then the Higher Centers. We know that time is limited and that we may not cover all of them, but we will attempt to do so. To help deliver this in as succinct a manner as possible, we will cover these elements of each Center: Basic Function, Most Obvious State of Positive Health, Most Obvious State of Negative Health, Most Direct Means of Healing, and then your assessment. The reasons that the "most obvious" states of health can be useful is because these states can help one to sense fairly easily which direction one is leaning, even if nowhere near the extreme. By "health" here we will mean this in terms of the Center, not necessarily in terms of symptoms in the body, which can often be symptoms of combinations of issues and not specific to a Center. For the most part, the more obvious health of your Centers can be seen in your behaviors long before your bodies. First, we will say that Center and Chakra are often used interchangeably because they are the same systems. However, in our teaching, "Center" is a reference to one's habitual "center of gravity," which is how one navigates the life. It is the funnel through which all experiences tend to first be processed by the Personality. Chakras, on the other hand, are more a teaching of the complex system of circuitry that runs as part of the various bodies, including how that links to Essence. In our teaching, "Center" extends to include all of those that are not your habitual "center of gravity" because each Center still has its use of all of the other Centers, its "Parts." So it is fair and safe to use these systems of understanding interchangeably, but there is a difference. Though none of you here are Centered in the Instinctive, your Instinctive Centers are as active as your Primary Center. No body or Personality can function without the Instinctive Center. It is from the Instinctive Center that the Personality arises. This is the only Center that is ever carried forward from each life. All others "die" with the bodies. Think of this as the "floppy disc," to use a rather outdated technological term that is carried from one life to another. It can also be "copied" easily among Concurrents, and then recombined in Reviews. No matter what your Primary Centering, the Instinctive Center will be your Center that regulates your capacity to CHOOSE. So in its simplest terms for this particular exchange on the topic, we will say that its Basic Function is the means by which the Personality will Regulate Choice. When the Instinctive Center is in its Positive Health, it shows up as owning the responsibility, consciousness, and capacity for choice. This means that the individual understands that, however restrictive the contexts, there will always be levels of choice with which one can work. One can be held captive in a box and still know that there is the capacity for choice for one or more bodies. The Physical Body, in that case, may have been stripped of choice, but the intellectual and Emotional bodies may still utilize Choice. This is an extreme, and disturbing, scenario to be used as an example, but we only do so to illustrate that some of your most restrictive scenarios in your life are nowhere near as restrictive as they could be. And you still have choice. The healthy Instinctive Center knows this. This does not mean you like your choices, or your range of choices, and that you may wish to work on expanding your range of choices, but there is, at no point, a sense that one no longer has a choice. The negative health of an Instinctive Center is when one begins to relinquish the responsibility of choice, and default only to reaction (rather than response). This Instinctive Center functions only as a means of navigating away from perceived or real threats. The life is spent only assessing threats. Possibilities become elusive and lose priority. This is sometimes necessary, so we do not mean "negative health" in terms of "bad," but more in the sense that the capacity for conscious choices has been reduced or honed toward only survival. Depending upon your Primary Centering, this can take the form of Emotional Survival, Intellectual Survival, or Material Survival. You will know if your Instinctive Center is leaning toward the Negative Health if you perceive your Emotional realm, Intellectual (expressive/social) realm, or Material Realm to have been reduced to a point of dependency, defense, or desperation. The most direct means of healing the Instinctive Center when in the Negative State of Health, or when damaged or "blocked" in any way, is to ask for help. Even if one were locked in a box, this is true. And most already know this, regardless of Soul Age, and "instinctively" call out for help, even to unknown or invisible forces when having fallen into Negative Health. We can safely say that each of you here lean toward your Negative end of Health for this Center. This is not a static state, but probably relative to your Primary Centering. [ViP1] i'd estimate i'm at the negative end at least 60 or 70 percent of the time [Janet] I’m very surprised. I would have said I lean toward the positive end [ClaireC] I know I fluctuate a lot. [ViP1] these days, at least, I think I've had times in the not too distant past that may have been closer to the opposite [GeraldineB] I'm somewhat surprised, too as while I have medical issues that are ongoing, I am seeking help for them [Ingun] I'm not surprised, I think most people lean more toward struggling in some way with survival issues, but fluctuating a lot. [ClaireC] Defense and desperation ring a bell. :) MEntity: Janet, we are not speaking in static terms, nor in assessment of more recent times, but in broader terms. However, it should be noted that even as each of you are far more conscious and in Positive Health of the Instinctive Center than most, you would not grow if not for the challenges that the Negative bring. [Ingun] Yes, that makes sense. [Janet] I agree that makes sense. [ViP1] what are those broader terms, Michael? [Maureen] I know I have had anxiety for, oh, about 6 million years or so. It's a hard habit to break. MEntity: It is not a report card, but a fact of incarnation. We could have posed the question as a "test" of your own understanding of this, but we do not think that the Instinctive Center is covered enough for that to be a fair question. [Janet] We incarnate in order to learn to choose. Once we have mastered that, we no longer need the experience. MEntity: It is natural for each of you to dip into the Negative on a regular basis, though some will tend to do so in more extreme ways than others. What may be new to you is the context in which this is most often played out, and this would TEND to be through what you identify as your Primary Centering. [GeraldineB] oops -- I slipped up again and used a standard definition for negative pole, not the Michael one MEntity: Even if someone struggles financially, but is Emotionally-Centered, it is in terms of Inspiration, self-esteem, meaning, etc. that this struggle plays out. Yes, there will still be the material, of course, but this person may have a much more difficult time separating his status from his sense of value. So when each of you sense your move into Negative Health of your Instinctive Center, note that, first, there is likely still a great range of choice, even if not what you would wish for it to be, and that you can make the effort to respond, rather than react, as a means of navigating a scenario, and finally, that you can ask for help. You may not get it, or you may have to ask more than you would like, but remembering that you can ask, that you have a right to ask, and that you may need to ask, is healthy. By "asking for help" here we do not mean coaxing someone else to do the work that you can do. Though we described each of you as leaning toward the Negative Health, we did so to point out its necessity to do so as a part of your living a life. Now we ask that each of you consider your own assessment. Share what you think is your likely percentage of Positive Health vs Negative Health as you see your life right now. [ViP1] for me, same as mentioned earlier - 60 to 70 percent in the reaction/survival in response to "threats" mode, which I understand now as Negative end of health of the instinctive center [GeraldineB] I would say that I'm reasonably healthy both mentally and emotionally, am in a state of wellbeing -- maybe 80% -- but, physical, am declining, so would put that at 50% or less even though I am seeking help [ViP1] by the way, that "right to ask for help" - is that one of the 7 basic Rights, Michael? [ClaireC] I could definitely ask for help a lot more, from my guides and Essence I suppose. [ClaireC] Positive 75% Negative 25%. [Maureen] I would say I may be at 80% Negative Health but I'm finding it hard to put a number to it. [Janet] It is hard for me to ask for help but I think I do it more often than I used to do. I’ve been working to avoid being reactionary. I am generally conscious of my right to choose. I can’t give a percentage for right now. I will have to give it thought. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but between Pos 40 - Neg 60 [GeraldineB] I still am locked into a belief system of "permanent conditions," rather than one that could be changed by other beliefs and/or Essence [ClaireC] I think our physical health affects our emotional health and outlook. MEntity: Visaish, yes. The "right to ask for help" is a subset of the most basic Right to Be Real, to Exist. No one exists in a vacuum. [ViP1] great, thank you (as I saw from other material you shared through Troy, that is indeed the Right that is related to the Instinctive Center.) [Ingun] I would guess I sometimes can be in more than 60% Neg Health also, and also in more than 40% Pos Health [Ingun] I'm also working on asking more for help. [Maureen] I have a hard time asking for help. Half the time I wouldn't even know what to ask for. It's more feelings. MEntity: We would wish to add that "asking for help" includes asking this of yourself. For some, this does not occur to them. There is a complete sense of paralysis, fear, defense, distance, etc. They can even use their conscious choice to refuse to choose. [ClaireC] Our interactions with Michael are a way of asking and receiving help. [ViP1] agreed, Claire MEntity: Claire, we agree. [Maureen] I agree too Claire. MEntity: We would point out that our exchanges with you, in that regard, are not one-way. You help us. Our invitation to our teaching is a request for your help. We cannot evolve without you. [ViP1] oh wow, that really touches me for some reason... [ViP1] but I'm glad to help [ClaireC] That is touching, ViP. MEntity: Existence is never a vacuum. Not even in the High Planes. [ViP1] "Vacuum" and "aloneness" are different things, in the way you use those terms, right Michael? [Maureen] I do ask Essence and my Guides for help and Michael, of course. It's just harder to ask for what I need from a living, breathing person. [Maureen] maybe it's a Priest thing. [ClaireC] But you're really good at offering and giving help, Maureen. MEntity: Correct. Aloneness is recognition of one's existence as singular representative of wholeness, while being a part of a greater wholeness. Vacuum is an emphasis on a false sense of distance between the self and other. Maureen, eventually, it is understood that help is effective and accessible from all realms of relevance. [Maureen] understanding it and asking for it are two different things -- aren't they? MEntity: It is often useless to ask "God" or guides to help one with material concerns, for instance, and much more effective to ask for help from those within the relevant realm. "God" and guides can help one with the less-dense dimensions. We agree, Maureen. [ViP1] you agree that this is a difficulty that Priests especially have, Michael? MEntity: That is the case with any learning. The gap between learning and application. [ViP1] oh sorry, never mind MEntity: It is not unique to Priests. [ViP1] that's what I thought, I misunderstood which of Maureen's comments you were responding to - please ignore, sorry MEntity: We understand. To continue with the Centers: [ViP1] by the way Michael, what do you think of our assessments of ourselves in terms of negative vs positive percentages for the Instinctive centers? MEntity: We think they are fair, even if leaning a bit on the high side for Negative Health. We think that each of you are closer to the middle than that. [ViP1] ok, thank you! MEntity: The assessments we see are when you are at your "worst." To clarify: the assessments each of you offered are more accurate to when you are at your "worst." [Maureen] When I am bad -- I am really bad. :) [ClaireC] :) [Ingun] How will it be played out if an Intellectually-centered person struggles financially? MEntity: This might tend to show up more in terms of how this represents the individual, how others might see that individual, and/or how this person struggles to express himself or herself, to give presence and form to the self in the world. It is a struggle with havingness and self-worth. Which is different from self-esteem, by the way. Self-esteem is how one feels about the self, while self-worth is about how one thinks about the self. Self-esteem is the use of relationships as reflections of self. Self-worth is the use of things as expressions of self. [Ingun] Thanks. Please continue with the centers/chakras ... Moving Center - Linked to Goal MEntity: MOVING CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your movements, directions, and paths. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates WHAT WORKS and WHAT DOES NOT WORK. This is everyone's means of creating or clearing his or her path through life. It is directly linked to the Goal. No matter what your Goal, in terms of Axis, it is your ACTIONS that create or clear your path to fulfilling it. One cannot fulfill their Goal in any lifetime without ACTION. In Positive Health, this shows up as an evolving capacity for LEARNING. Though learning happens among all Centers, there must be application and implementation for true learning while in a body. Regardless of one's Primary Centering, this Center is where one actually learns, at least in terms of the lifetime. Not necessarily how one learns math or how to raise a plant. Those who are Moving Centered will tend to have greater emphasis on the Goal as their priority for the life. When the Moving Center is in Negative Health, it often shows up for the older soul as AGITATION. One of the most direct means of healing this Center is to apply what one has learned. It is that simple. Keep in mind that this prompt for application of learning can come in the form of impulses, a quiet sense of knowing what one "should" do, and often as your means of handling pain. On the scale between AGITATION and APPLICATION/LEARNING, where do each of you feel you might fall in terms of learning? You need not use a number, just a sense of direction. [ViP1] I think I lean more toward agitation, but not too far off the "50/50" mark [Janet] I have been studying and have received many tips from you Michael that would aid in my goal of (self-)Dominance. But the tips are hard to apply so I clearly haven’t learned them. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Maureen] I have one foot in agitation and one foot in application -- on average I'm uncomfortable. [ClaireC] Confusion at times, some Agitation. [ViP1] I think I tend to react to agitation with freneticism and/or tendencies to addictive behaviors as a distraction from the agitation, but I do believe I'm getting better at applying what I am learning [ClaireC] I work on Application constantly. MEntity: The reason there is a Goal is because it will require the use of the Moving Center in some way, even if one is not Moving Centered. When looking at how you are Agitated, look to your Goal. In most cases, it is directly relevant. [Maureen] That makes sense. [Ingun] Fluctuating, but 45-55 [Janet] Oh that’s good advice. MEntity: It would indicate that you may not be applying all that you have learned. [GeraldineB] I could be self-deluded, but I don't feel all that much agitation with my Goal -- I've gotten quite patient with myself MEntity: Agitation tends not to come unless there is Learning that is not being applied. Agitation is a kind of short-circuiting that indicates the gap between action and experience/knowledge. [GeraldineB] I'm in such a constant state of learning, it's like all of it just keeps rolling over and into itself [ViP1] I like that description of Agitation [ClaireC] Me too. [Maureen] Me too [ViP1] :-) [Ingun] I know I'm not applying everything I have learned MEntity: For example, if you you find yourself in a pattern of Agitation with certain "kinds of people," or a circumstance, or relationship, you may not be applying the experiences and knowledge that has come from previous fulfillment of the Goal. [Janet] That definitely happens to me. I’m doing better though. MEntity: Each of you continue to do better. If not, you would not be here. [ClaireC] I would imagine that one's Frequency of processing would help here. MEntity: It is relevant, but one end of the range is not better than another. Not allowing oneself to process at one's natural Frequency can be troublesome, though. [ViP1] you said that when not manifesting Essence, one tends to process closer to the default Frequency of their Role, rather than the Frequency of their Spark/Essence, right Michael? [GeraldineB] I'm not familiar with that idea -- does each role have a default frequency? [ViP1] it appears so, it was in a question that I asked in a Michael Speaks [ViP1] or a default range of frequencies [ViP1] or an Ask Michael, I can't remember which MEntity: In the same way that Bodies are 100% Male Energy when of the male gender or 100% Female Energy when of the female gender (in most cases), so are Roles locked into a range of frequency. This range of frequency is not the same as that of Essence, so Essence will trump that frequency, in the same way that it does in the Body's Energy Ratio. This is how one can find a low Frequency Priest and a high Frequency Priest, even if the default range of frequency for the Priest Role is high. And how one can find a high "female energy" man and a high "male energy" female. When one neglects the care of the body, Energy Ratio starts to move toward the default. When one rejects Essence, the default range of frequency for processing in the Personality is that of the Role. [GeraldineB] Do we have a list of the defaults for each Role? [ViP1] ok, so that is the case when rejecting essence, rather than NOT Manifesting essence then (rejecting Essence is not the same as not Manifesting Essence) [ViP1] Not through Troy, G [ViP1] not that I know of at least [ViP1] sorry if I'm derailing the topic of the session by now though... please continue with the Centers if we can take up Frequency further in a different exchange :-) Emotional Center - Linked to Mode MEntity: The EMOTIONAL CENTER has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your intimacy, empathy, and sensitivity. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that is how one navigates between MEANINGFUL and MEANINGLESS. This is everyone's way of infusing or extracting meaning from his or her path/experiences in life. It is directly linked to the MODE. No matter what your Mode, in terms of Axis, it is your EMOTIONS that create or destroy your sense of meaning from your experiences. One cannot fulfill any range of significance in intimacy, sensitivity, without having infused or extracted Meaning. One cannot implement the Mode in any healthy way without evolving one's range of INSPIRATION. The more one limits his or her sense of Inspiration, the less-likely one can relate to others, to see himself or herself in others, and more importantly, less-likely to recognize others in himself or herself. By "others," we speak of any creature, sentient or non-sentient. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as showing up as GIVING/GENEROUS. In Negative Health, it can show up as RESENTFUL. The means by which the Mode is fulfilled at its best is when approached from this state of Giving/Generosity. The trick here is that no lifetime can be experienced without some experience in giving, but when one begins to keep score, to stand in righteousness, to give when not fully capable of giving, then Resentment begins to step in. So the evolution of Giving is a matter of one's evolution of Meaning. As each of you look at your Emotional Center, how often do you feel Resentment? How often do you feel that you Give in meaningful ways? How honest are you in your stating Yes? No? [Janet] ‘Resentful’ feels strong but I recognize it at times. I am definitely on the negative side here. [Janet] I think we are hoping to pursue intellectual center to get a balanced transcript. [GeraldineB] Yes, I agree with Janet MEntity: In that case, we will close on the Emotional Center by stating that the state of your relationships is a fair means of assessing where you are in terms of Health in the Emotional Center. Intellectual Center - Linked to Attitude The INTELLECTUAL CENTER, then, has as its Basic Functions the regulation of your impact, effect, and presence on your path in this life. In its simplest description for this exchange, we can say that it is how one navigates between HONESTY/Innocence and DECEIT/Jaded. This is everyone's way of testing out behaviors, traits, and negotiation in terms of their effects, impact, and presence in form. It is directly linked to the ATTITUDE. No matter what your Attitude, in terms of Axis, it is your INTELLECTUAL CENTER that runs the core of your basic philosophy about this life. One cannot test out one's philosophy without experimenting in the range between Honesty and Deceit, both in terms of others and the self. The Attitude cannot function in any healthy way without this Center moving more and more toward Honesty. The more one limits his or her sense of Expression, which can show up as false personas, lying to oneself, lying to others, not questioning inherited philosophies, avoiding contact, evading society, etc. the more one falls into Deceit. Or Jaded. In Positive Health, this Center could be described as ENCOURAGED. In Negative Health, it can show up as DISMISSIVE. The means by which the Attitude is held in the Positive Pole is at its best when one is Encouraged, or Encouraging. The most direct way of healing this Center is through QUESTIONING. By this we mean that one does not operate from a higher proportion of presumptions and prejudices than one does from curiosity and inquisitiveness. So the questions here, for your assessment of health of the Intellect, is in how often you feel discouraged, jaded, avoiding of contact vs curious, inquisitive, and having an impact. How often do you turn to your sense of encouragement over your sense of dismissiveness? [Janet] This is one center where I think I’m on the positive side. [Janet] Recently anyhow. [ViP1] I think I too might be slightly more on the positive side recently, than the negative [ClaireC] Michael, does this apply to the Intellectual Part as well? MEntity: We are speaking today of these Centers, regardless of Part or Primary. [ClaireC] Okay. [ClaireC] I tend to be on the Positive side here. [GeraldineB] I'm definitely on the more positive side -- it's a major component of post-5th IM MEntity: All of these Centers are functioning in each of you in many ways at all times, though the range varies in terms of health and awareness. [Ingun] I'm sure I have a potential for healing here as well as in all my centers. [Janet] Since yours is an intellectual teaching MIchael, are most of us here more likely to lean toward the positive side of this center? Is there a correlation between being drawn to these teachings and the impact on the intellectual center? MEntity: We think we have shared enough for each of you to consider how these can be checked on for their health, and how to bring them back into positive health, if you choose to do so. It can also help you to understand the point of your falling into negative health, which is not because of failure or doing something "wrong," but that you have a chance to evolve. [Maureen] I'm been focusing on the internal dialogue that goes on in this center as a way towards better health. It isn't always what other people see or how you are in relationships that need "the work". MEntity: Ingun, yes. We will conclude here today by saying that each of you, while allowing yourselves the room for the Negative Health of these Centers, always move back into Positive Health as your integration and evolution. That is the nature of the older souls in positive poles. That is the nature of a true student.
  5. MICHAEL SPEAKS 071309 OPEN FLOOR [Michael Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here now. We will begin with a response to Jon's question. [QUESTION] What is Michael's advice for not just surviving in this economy, but thriving? It seems like there is extra opportunity because everyone else is pulling back. I would like to know we can use those opportunities to their fullest... [Michael Entity] In terms of lucrative ventures, anything focused on the improvement of daily life is going to be received well, especially if it is affordable and has long-term use or impact, from entertainment to practical gadgets. It appears to us that anything connecting an individual to a group is going to be received well, also. We offer that response up as our perspective, but not as a suggestion, or advice. We think that any fragment can "thrive" in any economy when the basics of shelter and food are provided, so the lucrative ventures and "opportunities" are presuming an economy that is fairly thriving by material standards compared to survival. The opportunities that may be most lucrative and beneficial in terms of material well-being would be any that are in keeping with Mature Soul values that continue to be recognized. Any venture that emphasizes improvement of stable position, and positive impact of the individual among groups, may be found to be lucrative. We are describing a broad context because your creativity and personal passions must be the fuel for what is pursued or provided for material abundance. What we would suggest is a process of examining what drives your enthusiasm, or frustrations, and then measure those against the skills and tools you have for either sharing that enthusiasm, or providing a solution for the frustration, and then determining if there is a market for it. If there is no market, then create one, if you choose to do so. It is not necessary to wait for the masses to help shape your investments. It is often the case that the most lucrative ventures have come from sharing what was never considered by the masses at the time. We would suggest never to underestimate your creative impulses, though it is helpful to eventually focus them. To summarize: for the world as it stands now, the areas of high receptions would be those that encourage positive group experiences and/or emphasizes the pleasures of living in a shared environment. Beyond this, we would suggest speaking to a competent investor, as they may have a much closer "finger on the pulse" of any immediate ventures of interest. [QUESTION] Recently much fervor is being talked about over future pandemics (viruses) on the rise. USA is talking mandatory vaccine shots. Is there cause for concern over widespread pandemics and/or the mandatory vaccines? What can we do to protect ourselves and loved ones concerning the shots and/or viruses? Thank You. [Michael Entity] The choice to abide by enforced laws, or not, will still be your choice, though you would have to be willing to take on the potential consequences of either direction. There will always be ways around enforced laws with which you do not wish to comply, however difficult that may be. Mandatory vaccinations appear to be a low probability for enforcement at this point. It would be more likely that incentives would be used. At this point, "fear" is enough of an incentive for most to comply. So the concern over mandatory vaccines appears to be unwarranted at this point, but the concern over "pandemics" is valid concern, at least among metropolitan areas where constant close contact is a daily event. And when we say that the concern is valid, we do not imply that as a prediction, merely that the concern is more valid than that of the concern over mandatory vaccines. Vaccines would have little effect on preventing a "pandemic" or "epidemic." If it were to happen, it would be as a result of a mass lacking of immunity against a fast contagion and no vaccine can predict this. Only after-the-fact of spreading infection would a vaccine become effective. [QUESTION] is the vaccine harmful? [Michael Entity] In the use of any vaccine, there is always a risk, but the risks that are posed are limited to a small percentage of the population. In most cases, a vaccine either works, or has no effect at all. In isolated cases, the effect is not as desirable. [QUESTION] I see, but there will be more viruses on the rise? [Michael Entity] It is valid that viri are morphing and mutating at speeds and volumes unprecedented, but so are immune systems and most are capable of keeping up. In most instances of a viral scare, you would see that it is affecting mostly the elderly or infants or those with already-compromised immune systems. This is not to say that those with weak systems need not be protected, but that this reality helps to alert to any spreading dangers long before the majority would be at risk. [QUESTION] so by not getting vaccinated we are not placing others at risk? [Michael Entity] Choosing not to be vaccinated puts no one at risk but oneself, if you wish to call it a "risk." We say this because your lack of immunity has little to do with the level of immunity in another. The greatest "vaccination," or boost of immunity, that anybody can have is a high level of self-esteem. At the root of all immune deficiencies is a proportional blow or chronic erosion of self-esteem. When medicine and community emphasizes the well-being of the individual's sense of place, purpose, and position within his or her life, then disease and contagion will have all but disappeared. [QUESTION] what is Michael's definition of real purpose / real task / real mission - is this something that is contractual between our essence/and, our fragment and, essence will come in to communicate it to us... it seems that this "real work" occurs for fragments between the 4th I.M. and, 5th I.M., does it have 7 levels of operation ??? and, if so, what are they ??? maybe some people do it before the 4th-and, starting of the 5th - and, do it throughout their lives [Michael Entity] We would think our phrase of "Life Task" may be of relevance here, and we would define that as "the original motivation for the physical form and for the dynamics of the Personality." There are no contracts in this case, but there are intentions and agreements that are helped along by Essence until the Personality is no longer interested. The Life Task is what Essence intended to experience in the lifetime through this particular Personality. What Essence intends NEVER overrides what Personality decides. Essence has no urgency for these intentions because it is fully aware of the fact that it can create another lifetime and body for trying again. In addition to the option for creating new lifetimes for the intent of a task, there are also parallel branches within a single lifetime where, more often than not, at least one version of "you" does co-create the life with Essence and fulfill the task. Essence will never impose its vision upon the Personality beyond the original motivation and design. Most Personalities can determine their Life Task quite easily because it is more often than not something they already do. The Life Task is a primary consideration in the design of Personality, so whether one experiences the fulfillment of that task, or merely develops fruitless habits and patterns, the clues would still be there. If one is not already doing something related to the Life Task, then clues are usually found in what one WISHES one were doing. It is valid that the 4th Internal Monad is usually the stage within the life when a fragment truly questions the alignment of self with soul, or life with essence, or path with presence, depending on the spirituality of the individual. There are 7 stages to the process of fulfilling the Life Task and they correspond to the 7 stages within the 4th Internal Monad. We will include those in the final transcript. [See The 7 Stages of the 4th Internal Monad.] [QUESTION] How is life task related to self karma. Are they the same? [Michael Entity] The Life Task is related to Self-Karma only insofar as Self-Karma is an obstacle to the fulfillment of the Life Task. They are not interlocked, but some fragments can find the distractions of Self-Karma to block or deflect any sense of fulfillment of the Task. Many are capable of managing both the Life Task and the work of Self-Karma, especially if the Life Task is in an unrelated life context from the Self-Karma. [QUESTION] Is there only one life task, or is there typically a bundle of tasks to be completed? [Michael Entity] Some choose to have an arcing Life Task with several tasks to build upon, but the concept of the Life Task is a singular context as a whole. It would help to think of the Life Task as a QUALITY sought to be experienced, much like the Goal is. In fact, the Life Task is simply a more focused detail of the Goal. [QUESTION] I would like to hear you discuss more about choice. From my understanding, every personality has the ability to choose. However, incarnations are planned out ahead of time as well as parents, agreements, TC's, etc. What I would like to know, is what would happen if a baby were to be born when no Essence planned that life out? Is that something that is possible if personality does indeed have free will and choice? Would that baby be born without a soul/Essence? What would that life be like? Can humans really act outside of Essence's influence, has it ever been done, and when? [Michael Entity] In all cases of Incarnation, the first seven years of a life are lived "without a soul," so to speak. By this we mean that the body and Personality are most vulnerable to the choices of others who are fully incarnated and the Essence of that Personality does more in that period of time to help shape the path of the life than at any other time, for most fragments. It takes up to 7 years for the Personality to fully resonate and embrace the Essence, if at all. It could be said another way that it takes up to seven years for the soul to "move in" to the body, though we would not mean that literally. With this 7 year process in mind, it may be more easily understood that a body born despite an Essence's choice to "back out" is then "up for grabs" for any other Essence, and bodies are often grabbed up when they are available like this, much in the same way that one might scramble to catch the next bus or plane. However, while it does happen, it is extremely rare that any Body or Personality would be born without the Essence fully committed. That kind of birth happens most often during the Infant Soul Cycle, but when it does happen, the Body dies within a relatively short time of birth if no Essence grabs it up. It is never the case that an Adult Personality or Body is conscious without an Essence. [QUESTION] so, personality is doing the gathering at that stage? [Michael Entity] During the first 7 years of life, the Personality is most passive in its gathering of experiences, and Essence is most powerful, though this will vary from Personality to Personality, of course. [COMMENT] so it seems there are some "limits" to choice in a manner of speaking [Michael Entity] The key here is understanding that Choice exists on all levels, and each level has its perimeters. Essence's level of choice is vast and encompassing of Personality's level of choice. Personality's level of choice is limited by the contexts, tools, and mobility of the lifetime, but always overrides Essence's choices while Physical. When we are quoted as saying "All Is Choice," it is implicit that we spoke of the various levels of "you" that is "all." In addition to that, it is implicit that CHOICE does not automatically mean CREATION or Cause. It can also mean RESPONSE. Not all impact in your life will be of your choice, but what you choose to do with that impact will be your choice. Eventually the experience of Essence and Personality are blurred into each other and the life is a co-creative process that has no sense of division. [QUESTION] what are the 7 levels of real essence contact? [Michael Entity] Becoming more intimate and aware of your Essence could be described by these 7 stages below. We are describing them in terms of the level of consciousness brought to the process of Choice. ONE: Conscious Choice; if you are aware that you are making a choice, you are at least within the first stage of Essence contact TWO: Self-Nurturing Choice; if you are aware that you are choosing, and that your choices are intended to nurture yourself, then you are at least within the second stage of Essence Contact. THREE: Pleasurable Choice: if you are aware that you are choosing, that your choices are intended to nurture, and that your navigation is pointed toward pleasurable experiences, then you are within at least the 3 stage of Essence Contact. FOUR: Causal Choice: if you are aware that you are choosing, that your choices are intended to nurture, that your navigation is intended to bring pleasure, and that all of this can be considered in the context of its impact on others and your probabilities (future), then you are at least within the 4th stages of Essence Contact. FIVE: Truthful Choice: building upon the previous four levels or stages, we would describe the 5th Stage as that of being incapable of deceiving yourself or others, or making choices based upon lies that you have come to rely upon as truths about yourself or others in ways that cause harm, isolation, pain, boredom, or lack of fulfillment. We rarely see a full movement into or beyond this 5th Stage. SIXTH: Trustful Choice: building upon the previous 5 stages, this stage describes a sense of peace and trust, not only in your personal awareness and sense of capabilities within the life, but upon your Essence as a part of your resource for knowledge and history. This is not a blindness or moments of leaping into the unknown, but of a deep peace that your intuition and inner guidance is exactly what is appropriate for you, and that if you were discover differently, you would trust that you simply recalibrate. SEVEN: Playful Choice: this is a level of living that builds upon the previous 6 levels and has no fear. Fear is used as a form of information, not imprisonment or paralyzation. It is a deep recognition of your existence before, within, and beyond this Personality and lifetime, and life is then experienced as a massive opportunity to play, whatever that may mean for you. There are other ways to describe these 7 stages of intimacy and embrace of Essence by Personality, but this is one way that is applicable and valid. [QUESTION] What causes the emotion of being annoyed, and how is it useful? [Michael Entity] Being "annoyed" is often a defense against helplessness, or a wish to control a person, circumstance, context, or time frame; it is an offshoot of the Impatience and Martyrdom Axis, and even if those are not your habitual Chief Features, they are still accessible to all. In short, it is a control issue. Annoyance is only as useful as one takes the opportunity to see it as informative. Annoyance points out where one wishes others would change so that one does not have to. If there is chronic, unwarranted annoyance, keep in mind that the extent to which one is annoyed is the extent to which one is avoiding a truth about oneself. Those truths are usually painful and connected to the past and wounding. Mild annoyances are simply distractions, but if the experiences rise to chronic distraction, or to a clear pattern, there is information in those experiences that are specific to the individual being annoyed. [QUESTION] So the work lies with the one who is annoyed, not the one who is annoying? [Michael Entity] The "work" will always lie with the one who is triggered because there is no real way to control others without the risk of generating Karmic Ribbons. All of this being said, Annoyance is just another form of navigation. If something or someone annoys you, it does not mean there is some deep, dark underbelly of wounding to unveil; it can often simply mean to move in a direction away from that which annoys you. It can often mean speaking up when you normally would not. It can mean offering alternatives, instead of presuming a limitation. It can mean adapting, despite your resistance. The key in most Annoyances is in what you WILL NOT DO because you feel you "shouldn't have to." One way to heal an Annoyance that may be a constant in your life is to recognize that you feel your personal Rights are being violated. If one can identify exactly what Right is being violated and voice that Right internally or externally, and then act most accordingly, then many situations can be relieved that way. And finally, we would say that it is important to note here that the emphasis is not always about relieving the annoyance; this is often not possible in cases where physical danger may lurk, such as speaking up against a band of armed hoodlums who are ruining a movie. The issue is in giving yourself permission to claim back your Right in some way. You may not be able to convince others of your Rights, but you can make the choices that are most serving of your Rights. And once one has begun to understand, reclaim, and nurture his or her own Rights, then the fulfillment of the Rights of others do not seem as offensive or annoying. The hoodlums, for instance, while by most standards would be violating a multitude of social boundaries, are simply overcompensating for Rights that they, too, feel have been violated in their own life. Annoyance then can become Empathy and you would find other ways besides the enjoyment of a movie can help to nurture your own sense of Rights. [QUESTION] This is a carryover from the last chat and may be confusing; however, I'll try and lay some groundwork. Last month's chat, we had a very nice session on how it's the Role in Essence that evolves through the Soul Age Levels, and that it's Roles that go through the various Grand Cycle evolutionary experiences, not Essence, per se. Yet, conversely, we're also told that it's Essence who holds their casting place in Entity, which then recombines as a single being as it were, including recombining the Entities into a Cadre being, and even onwards into an Energy Ring being on the way back to Tao. My question would be a need for clarification about how Essence retains individual integrity enough to have Roles and multiple grand cycles within this larger recombined or integrated structure of Entities to Cadres to Energy Rings. [Michael Entity] We will offer up this analogy for you to consider: Within your single lifetime you are born and live a life full of impact, choices, relationships, foci, paths, environments, experiences, etc. At the end of that lifetime, it could be said that who you are is the culmination of that entire lifetime. Each day, each month, each relationship, each environment, etc., to your Personality in no way loses substantial existence or influence simply because the Personality ages. And so it is for Essence. Every Personality, lifetime, Agreement, Karma, Configuration, Entity, Cadre, Energy Ring in no way lose their relevance at the eventual "end" of a Grand Cycle. To take this further: in the same way that your waking up in the morning and changing clothes does not lose the day before, so it is that Essence does not lose itself. This may be difficult to fathom, but this analogy is as accurate as possible. Each Grand Cycle to Essence is like each day to your Personality, so to speak. Most Essences have only been "awake" for "3 days," then. [QUESTION] Although, how can one go on to be new roles, grand cycles, etc -- are those akin to personalities to Essence types of experiences? [Michael Entity] Yes, when Essence (or Spark) returns to Tao and then chooses a new Grand Cycle, its choice of a new Role and relationships and Casting are similar to the Role's choice of a new Personality, parents, geographical location, and Overleaves in each lifetime. [QUESTION] So when essence recombines in the Causal Plane and above on its way back to Tao, it is still able to access these memories, even after it is Tao? [Michael Entity] Yes, the memories are always there for the "Spark" that is behind the choice of Essence Role, but not necessarily for the Essence Role and Personalities that are distinct to a particular Grand Cycle and Physical Plane. It is a misnomer to call them "memories" in this case, but it is the most accurate word for now. [ELABORATION REQUESTED BY TROY] One of way of understanding this thread of continuity for the Spark, or Essence, is to imagine a box of photographs from your childhood, and a box of videotapes from your youth, and DVDs of your adult life, etc. With each passing stage of life, your memories of the past are not a constant in your mind, but those stored images can trigger those memories in an instant. The same could be said of your Spark, or Essence, as it moves from one Grand Cycle to another. A "box of images" are left with Tao, so to speak, and can be drawn from at any point, or pulled up in between Cycles, but the "memories" are not exactly prominent in the current focus. [QUESTION] So while individuality is 'lost' it is still 'retained' - I love when the rule of paradox applies [Michael Entity] The need for individuality is lost, but not the validity of it. [QUESTION] I have a question about the influence of past cycles. It there are two fragments, A and B. Fragment A has completed 15 cycles as a human being. Fragment B has no previous cycles. If both are beginning a new grand cycle, how would the perspective of A be different from B in the Infant stage? Generally how would the experience of the entire new cycle be different? [Michael Entity] We can only speak from observation of similar phenomenon, and what we have observed is that "fragment A" would manifest Essence and propel through the levels of Soul Age at a rate that could be described as "faster" than that of "fragment B." In most cases of a Sentient Race, the gaps in Grand Cycle experience are bridged by fewer incarnations from those who have more Grand Cycles. In other words, "Fragment A" may have 1 lifetime for every 10 of "fragment B." This is why the lifetime count for many of our students is lower than those who are of a much Younger Soul Age, because the average Grand Cycle count for your species is 3, whereas many of our students average around 9. [QUESTION] Would there be a qualitative difference? For example I read a book at 12 (younger) and then I read the same book at 50. the same experience but so different also. [Michael Entity] Sometimes that is the case, however, most Grand Cycles are not repeated within the same species or planetary system, so it is not a revisit of familiarity, but a completely new experience for all involved. Most of you have never been Human before. [QUESTION] most? that means that some have . . . [Michael Entity] Yes, but Humans exist in other locations of your Universe. [QUESTION] Are they pretty much exactly the same as us, or are there noticeable evolutionary differences? [Michael Entity] When we said "humans exist in other locations," we meant that you would recognize them as exactly like you for the most part. [QUESTION] Why go through it a 15th time? Just for speed? [Michael Entity] Grand Cycles are commitments to completely new species and location, or a new species in the same location, or the same species in a new location, but rarely does Sentience return to both the same species and location. [QUESTION] I understand that animal companions are extremely connected to the human they are with, but do they ever stay (alive) past what they would choose based on the human's needs? And if so, what effect would that have on the animal? [Michael Entity] No. When an animal companion is "done," he or she or it is done. If there is still life, it is because the life is not over. For animal companions who are developing the Emotional Center, the experience of a lengthy process of aging can bring tremendous evolution to that Center. Not only for the animal, but for the caretaker. [QUESTION] "Balance implies obsolescence of the overleaves. Balanced man is no longer stuck. He is free to move in real space where there are no limitations" (Messages from Michael). I can only interpret this to mean that it is possible to change one's overleaves - not easy, but in rare cases, possible. However, the overleaves can be regarded as part of the physical plane, and there is also the common idea that the positive poles of the overleaves represent the true personality. I don't see any real conflict in this (as it sometimes appears in discussions), unless one assumes it is possible to exist on the physical plane without overleaves, as the quote above seems to imply. Comments? [Michael Entity] Overleaves do not change except in very rare instances of Walk-ins, when the body that would normally die is then passed on to a new Essence. It is then that the new Essence can use the next 7 years of recovery for altering the Overleaves. Overleaves are genetic, so the changing of them is not an easy or popular process, and most changes are limited by axis (e.g. Idealist changes to Skeptic, or Growth to Re-evaluation). [QUESTION] So, what does this 'balanced man' mean? [Michael Entity] What is meant by "balance" here could be more easily understood as "choice-driven." When one is choice-driven, then one can choose to act, feel, and be accordingly and not just through the dictations of design. For instance, though one may be an Idealist by design, one can direct that Idealism through various tools of choice, including the entire spectrum of that Axis, through the study of impact from his choices, and even through the search for understanding the primary perspectives (attitudes) of others. When one is "balanced" it simply means that one is no longer restricted by design, only by the capability to choose. Choosing from within a structure or design is not a restriction; it is a necessity. True Freedom does not exist without structure or design. We will point out that while one cannot truly change his Overleaves, he can USE the other Overleaves at will. In other words, just because one is an Idealist does NOT mean one cannot comprehend the perspective of a Pragmatist or a Stoic, or a Cynic. The "balanced" person is capable of empathy and that empathy would be based upon the capability to expand beyond your design. Watching a good actor is an example of these statements. Just because one is born with black hair by design does not mean that he or she cannot wear a blonde wig, and wear it well. You may not be able to change WHO you are, but you can always change HOW you are. [QUESTION] Are sages particularly adept at this? [Michael Entity] We would not say they are particularly adept as much as we would say they are more quickly interested in that path to true freedom of expression. [QUESTION] If someone evolves in their expression of an overleaf, does this capacity ever extend to ability with other overleaves [Michael Entity] Yes, when the use of one Overleaf excels, so does the potential for use of the other Overleaves. The benefit of one benefits the whole. The Attitude is the primary pivotal Overleaf for all Personalities, by the way. [QUESTION] Does all of the hoohah about "raising one's vibrations" or elevating one's dimension have to do with this basic quotation about "real space without limitations"? [Michael Entity] We do not think all conversations, or "hoohah," about raising vibrations relates to our quote, but we can say that our quote has nothing to do with raising vibrations, except insofar as expanding the capabilities of choice might be equated to that concept. [QUESTION] Michael, this may be too personal to be relevant in this forum, but if not, are you able to see any reasons why the 60's Rock n' Roll artist "Jimi Hendrix" resonates so familiarly with me since I learned of his existence as an early teen? [Michael Entity] We can say that this fragment resonated to many for various personal reasons that we can address more directly to you in another format, but on a larger scale this fragment was also a symbolic representation of "possibility," which appealed to a great many beyond the medium through which he expressed that possibility. The showcasing of his skills was new and exciting and pleasurable to many, and this ignited a great deal of creative inspiration for many to use within their own lives in meaningful ways. When any fragment is able to be showcased as eloquent, artistic, and talented beyond the apparent obstacles of the times, inspiration is bound to ensue for many. Recent examples of this on a small scale could be said to have been the fragment known as "Susan Boyle" or the captain of the flight that landed in the Hudson River. On an even larger scale than the fragment who was "Jimi Hendrix," many would say that the fragment known as Michael Jackson embodied this inspiration of possibility over obstacles, as well.   6. ENERGY REPORT November 2010 November continues the general exploration of Self-deprecation and Arrogance so that all issues of Self-esteem are coming to the surface for many, even if these issues are not usually yours. Issues of insecurity, exposure, judgement, appearance, vulnerability, adequacy, specialness, uniqueness, meaning, importance, etc. will most likely come up for examination, not only on individual levels, but in communities, companies, and countries. This appears to be manifesting as awkwardness, uncertainty, and some anxiety, especially in terms of commitments and long-term agendas and visions. For the next few weeks, it may seem as if all of your ideas and intentions have lost focus, or are in need or recalibrating, and it may seem a bit overwhelming. However, it is important to note that this time period is emphasizing your need and necessity for COMFORTING. Many of you move along in your life at a pace and a focus that presumes there is no time, space, or energy available to simply reassure you that “everything is going to be okay.” It is over the month of November that your recognition of that need can be shared, displayed, and mutually-exchanged with others in a way that may surprise you with great relief. You are not alone in this. Many of our students, and in fact, people in general, would find a tremendous weight lifted from their minds, hearts, and bodies when they open up to one another that it would be nice to be comforted, reassured, and that being scattered, overwhelmed, and awkward about life right now is “normal.” No one can guarantee your safety, and no one can guarantee that you are on “the right path,” or that you are making the “right choices,” but it will never be a lie to hear from yourself, or from another, that “everything WILL be okay.” For the Older Souls, it will not sound so absurd for us to point out that the “worst” that can happen to you in this life is that you suffer and/or die, but that even those are temporary, with “being okay” always beyond it. With that in mind, even we can assure you that everything will be okay. Keep in mind that many of you “suffer” only from your processes of comparison, which is at the heart of Self-deprecation and Arrogance. Comparing circumstances, body types, standards, goals, accomplishments, relationships, behaviors, etc., is intended to be a tool for helping one to see how and where to improve, change, or replace these things, if you choose to do so, but it is not intended to be used as a means to undermine your current circumstances, body type, standards, goals, etc. Unless you are being held against your will in captivity, then you are who you are, where you are, and how you are because it is serving you in some capacity, and if you wish to change these things, it takes time, space, and energy to do so. For most of you, if you were to look at your life with an honest assessment, there is actually very little to complain about, and you are in rather acceptable, if not great, conditions. This is not a discouragement against complaining, as to complain, or not, would be a choice you must make. We merely point out that many of you only have complaints because of comparisons, not conditions. Embracing and accepting where you are with yourself, with your body, with your life, and with your relationships is not a conclusive embrace, but a kind return to your own terms, an ownership of your own choices, and an encouragement of trust for yourself. As you embrace what IS your life, it becomes easier and more delightful to aim toward your ideals because then you have a stability, a healthy pace, and you are able to extract what it is that is serving you in your current patterns. This, then, is Gratitude, the antidote to complaining, unnecessary suffering, and a most powerful tool for returning you to the driver’s seat of your life, so to speak. Helpful thoughts over November might be: 1) COMPARISONS ARE TO HELP NAVIGATE, NOT UNDERMINE Comparing others to yourself, or yourself to others, and presuming a standard against which you or others must comply, is helpful for your choice-making, improvements, and navigation, but is not as helpful when used to impose suffering or complaining. 2) EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY Confusion, disappointment, disorientation, distraction, uncertainty, insecurity, ill health, loss, etc. can never stand in the way of your eventually “being okay.” You WILL eventually be okay, but the more you are on board with that truth, the more tangible, present, and participatory you are in creating or allowing yourself to be okay again. 3) GIVING AND RECEIVING COMFORT IS A NATURAL RIGHT It is never necessary to feel shame or resistance when desiring, asking for, giving, or accepting comfort. The Physical Body requires food, water, and air for its nutrition; the Emotional Body requires affection, nurturing, and intimacy for its nutrition; the Intellectual Body requires paradox, experience, and comprehension for its nutrition; and the Spiritual Body requires philosophy, intuition, and beauty for its nutrition. Of course, these words can be replaced, and the lists extended for each Body, but COMFORT can be given and received within any of these contexts, and in so doing, affects all of the Bodies. 4) GRATITUDE IS A STEP, NOT JUST A STATE Gratitude is an active process of regaining your wits, your footing, and your presence by embracing what you normally take for granted, judge, or dismiss, which frees up a tremendous amount of energy that could be used for creating more to your liking. DATES OF INTEREST The final week of November may find most of our students lurching into high activity, internally and externally, and the strange limbo of the first few weeks will have been lifted as focus returns, comfort is more readily available, and over-thinking/over-analyzing dissipates. There is no Nexus this month, but there is a convergence of energies among fragments as “the holidays” unfold, and prompts many of you toward Agreements, Karma, and social exchanges that can help to “get you out of yourself.”
  7. ENERGY REPORT October 2010 October marks the “season” of emphasis on the Chief Negative Feature, or the basic collective Fear of the year, with this year’s Fear being Arrogance and Self-deprecation. Regardless of your own Overleaves and Chief Feature, this collective fear would have some impact upon you if you are participating in the world in any meaningful way. It might be more accurate to think of a Chief Negative Feature as your Protector, rather than as your Fear. Although each Chief Negative Feature refers to a basic fear, the terms we chose actually describe how one protects oneself from that particular fear. For instance, Arrogance is how one protects oneself from Vulnerability. Self-deprecation is how one protects oneself from Inadequacy. September brought a close examination of both the general collective Attitude for the year (Spiritualist), and one’s own Attitude, which means that personal philosophies and perspectives about your life, or the world around you, may have come under contemplation. This contemplation of your philosophies and perspectives included the self-assessment of where you are so far this year in relation to your original ideas and intentions. For those who have stayed on track to their satisfaction, and who had decided that life is looking “okay,” then the last two weeks of September may have felt more like a gentle pause, or a coasting along, between the steps in the life. It may not have had much action, but simply moved forward, uneventfully into October. These people are more than likely eager for the new season, for new experiences, for a return to action and tangibility. For those who may have realized that they are not quite on track with their intentions for the year, this self-assessment of intentions eventually moved into a kind of paralysis, or self-hypnotism, during the last two weeks of September. For these people, the launch into the first week of October may feel a bit like finally gasping for breath after realizing one has been holding one’s breath for so long. These people may find a sense of scrambling to catch up, much like waking up from dozing off while driving a moving vehicle. Suddenly, direction and calibration may return, possibilities may suddenly seem feasible again, and quick adaptation is understood to be in order. For both those who are, and who are not, on track with their sense of accomplishment this year, there may be a sudden sense of “now, where was I?” experienced, and a return to focus and presence is felt. Arrogance and Self-deprecation are, both, methods for protecting one’s Self-esteem. Arrogance protects against Vulnerability (being seen too closely), and Self-deprecation protects against Inadequacy (not being seen closely enough). Arrogance is about the over-amplification of the sense of Being so much so that one feels exposed, triggering a need to hide behind the facade of vanity, shyness, or pride. Arrogance is about Being Too Much. Self-deprecation is about the diminishing of one’s sense of Being so much so that one feels eclipsed by disappointments, failures, falling short of expectations and standards set by the self or others, triggering a need to hide behind humility, invisibility, self-abasement. Self-deprecation is about Not Being Enough. The great questions pondered over September then might be summed up as, “Am I actually failing myself, and/or others?” or “Am I actually making a fool of myself, and exposing my weaknesses?” Both are actually asking if your own idea of who you are is matching where you actually are in your life, how you are in your life, and who you are in your relationships. In general, we see that many were facing disappointing responses to those questions during September, but we also see a nice recovery from those realizations now manifesting. Most of our students, and much of the planet, is dealing directly and effectively with the issues of Self-esteem that Arrogance and Self-deprecation bring to the surface, so we do not see the end of this year being consumed by the fears represented by these Chief Negative Features. However, the issues of self-esteem will most likely still find collective examination in your shared world. The issues of self-esteem are already being showcased by the media via the wave of bullying and its effect on others, including suicide. As October unfolds, we see that most of our students might be walking a precarious, but steady, line along the issues of vulnerability and inadequacy, doing their best to keep themselves in check, correcting their perspectives, courses, and steps as necessary. We see most of our students realizing that there will be times that one cannot or does not live up to one’s own expectations or those of others, and that this is okay. We see most of our students realizing that sometimes taking risks and “going for it” can actually leave one looking like a fool, feeling exposed and embarrassed, but that this is okay. Both disappointment and being a fool are a part of life, and worth the value of what is possible to learn from those experiences. For a few who may have a harder time in the months ahead, understanding how the year may be showcasing your issues of self-esteem may help you to better monitor yourself so that you do not trick yourself into thinking that Arrogance or Self-deprecation are your only options as protectors. Being aware of your self-esteem issues can help you to take that ONE MORE STEP, or to hang in there for that ONE MORE DAY, or to try ONE MORE TIME. And then again. And again. Because you CAN. Helpful thoughts over October might be: 1) I AM SAFER and MORE EFFECTIVE WITH CHOICE THAN WITH FEAR As long as you are making the best choices you can make from within any limitations you may feel, you are doing better than you would if you were to hide from the results of previous choices, or lack thereof. Continuing to recognize your capacity for Choice, even when the only choice may be in trying one more time, one more day, one more step, one more way, is a far safer and effective way of Being Who You Are than any fear can protect you from being who/how you feel you are not. 2) BEING IS A PROCESS, NOT A STATE You will never fully BE who you think or feel you wish to be, because there is no conclusion to Being, because Being includes Evolving. Every experience, fear, success, disappointment, setback, loss, illness, bad day, good day, suffering, pleasure, love, hate, indifference, joy, etc is a process of exploring and becoming, and there is no final finish line that secures who you are. Everything you feel, think, and do evolves you in one way or another, and this cannot be stopped, even by suicide. Keeping this in mind may help you to remember that the challenges of life pass just as the pleasures of life do, and both will return as they always do. Knowing this can help bring a sense of sustained peace through any and all versions of who you are, who you may be, how you are, how you wish to be, and through all experiences that happen to you, and from you. DATES OF INTEREST The days between the 11th and the 16th may bring to many of our students a reunion of some sort that triggers a sense of inspiration, or a sense of sentimentality and sadness. Many of you appear to have Agreements to cross paths with fragments from your past that have long been lost, brought back into your awareness because of the Nexus on the 13th where a merge or parallel realities brings those who were separated from you by choices in the past, back together briefly.
  8. ENERGY REPORT September 2010 September marks the final month of emphasis on the Attitude aspect of the year, with this year’s Attitude being SPIRITUALIST. As we have covered the meaning of this Attitude in July and August’s Reports, we will not review that here. Instead, we will point out that within the context of this Attitude, there may be a kind of internal pressure to “catch up” with oneself, to “get back on track,” to start what one has put off, and to “get serious” about things not taken seriously. We would describe September as a month of “review and recovery.” As October nears, the emphasis shifts from the Attitude, which describes personal philosophies and how one interprets experiences of the world, to an emphasis on the Chief Negative Feature for the year, which describes the basic fear for the year among the masses. The Chief Negative Feature this year appears to be Arrogance/Self-deprecation, which share the Axis of Inspiration. We will elaborate upon these fears in October’s report. In September of each year, usually just before the shift into the “season” of Chief Negative Feature, there is a close examination of both the general Attitude of the year, and one’s own Overleaf Attitude that may or may not be the same as the year’s. For those who may feel they are not quite on track with their intentions for the year, this examination is usually experienced as a quiet background assessment, or a subtle review, and for others it is a kind of important pause that does not break momentum. For those who have stayed on track to their satisfaction, and if life is looking “okay,” then it is usually experienced as an acceleration and enthusiasm for the potential of the immediate future. For those who are processing a review, it will most likely feel like a simple checks and balances listing of comparisons, with a look at what IS and what IS NOT in terms of intentions for the year, followed by a sense of importance to focus. This sense of importance for focus is linked to the Chief Features that are on the horizon for emphasis from October through December, which are Self-deprecation and Arrogance, both having to do with protecting one’s sense of BEING. Self-deprecation deals with Not Being Enough, while Arrogance is about Being Too Much, and both are about one’s Self-Esteem. In that light, this September is about looking back at the year and assessing where one is with one’s self in terms of fulfilling intentions, and finding that fulfillment or lack thereof is directly linked to how one feels about oneself. What one might find is that these intentions have been fulfilled, but at the expense of certain other areas, things, or relationships in the life, and this is directly linked to the potential amplification of Arrogance in the months ahead because it is realized that one has become self-absorbed and tunnel-visioned in certain areas while neglecting other areas. If that is the case, this person might begin to see those parts of the life calling out for attention, or feeling a distraction to return to tending to those parts of the life. For these people, it means that September could become the month that helps bring a balance back to the life in a way that allows for them to catch up with the parts of the life that have gone neglected, and this would mean that the end of the year would most likely unfold as a rather celebratory and joyful closure to the year. However, if this realization of neglect is met with regret or defensiveness, it would mean that the end of the year might be met with those areas, things, or relationships of the life falling completely out of focus, or moving into states of contention, or becoming extreme forces of distraction that one may then feel threatened by. The rest of the year would then be mixed up with various inner and outer battles regarding how to either protect against the losses that have come from such tunnel-vision, or how to repair and heal those neglected areas, things, and relationships. What others may find is that the intentions have not been fulfilled, and that the year is not turning out as expected, which will directly ignite the issues of Self-deprecation in the months ahead, having realized that energies and focus has been scattered among far too many directions, touching each, but fulfilling none. This might then leave one feeling as if one has fallen short everywhere, failed several intentions, has not lived up to one’s own, or others’ standards, and may even find several areas, things, and/or relationships pointing out these failures, disappointments, and frustrations. The rest of the year would then be mixed with various inner and outer battles regarding how to make up for these failures, disappointments, and frustrations, and how to either defend against the pain of that, or how to repair and heal at least the priorities. For those who feel that life is okay, on track, and this quick assessment period is showing fairly acceptable results about the year passed, then September would simply fall into a sense of acceleration into the enthusiasm for the upcoming holiday seasons. Helpful thoughts over SEPTEMBER might be: 1) NOW, I KNOW. AND THAT’S A GOOD THING. Just because you are now realizing what or who was neglected, or how you may have fallen short, does not mean you are condemned, but that you are now aware. And that is a good thing. Awareness is information for you use for your life, not against it. 2) CALIBRATION IS CELEBRATION. Catching up with yourself, your life, and/or your relationships is a form of calibration, or recalibration, and is cause for celebration, not condemnation. Those phrases might be helpful for bringing one back to the point of such evaluations and assessments during the life, so that one can use the information in a productive and fulfilling way, instead of as a means to punish, defend, or condemn. September does not have any particular dates of note.

MICHAEL SPEAKS Online 080507 [Michael Entity] AUGUST ENERGY REPORT (as given in the upcoming August podcast) August brings with it an ethereal angle, which is not a contradiction to the Realism (attitude) in place. August appears to us to be a time of retrospection and a unique use of the past as a means to build the present in a better way. By "better" we mean with the intent to increase a sense of wider fulfillment beyond the self. August will lean toward being more group- and community-oriented, not only with the sense of how to better interact and build together, but also with a strange sense of surrealism. The retrospection is fairly understandable as part of the process of a year, but the surrealism may be a bit disorienting to some of you. The surrealism is due to a kind of "hyper-realism" as August unfolds, bringing an energy that allows for perception beyond the immediately tangible. Many of you may feel a sense of lightness, or great amounts of space, among your cells and atoms. This could be said to be an extension of the internal exploration started in July, but on vastly broader levels than the immediate life, memories, and experiences. August may easily be described by some of you as a sense of floating, untethered and dreamy, but rooted and serious in its focus on improving QUALITY among your exchanges. Questions that may arise are: DO I CONTRIBUTE TO LIFE IN A WAY THAT I WISH LIFE WOULD CONTRIBUTE FOR ME? DO I CONTRIBUTE TO MY RELATIONSHIPS IN A WAY THAT I WISH THEY WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO ME? DO I REALLY KNOW HOW TO LOVE, TELL THE TRUTH, AND USE MY ENERGY IN A WAY THAT IS ALIGNED WITH WHO I REALLY AM? Looking at these questions over August can bring you some profound insights. The theme could be described, then, as CONTEXT; living, thinking, acting, giving, receiving, communicating, and being in CONTEXT. The ability to realistically discern the appropriate context of your various moments is a form of important evolution for the soul and personality. In the end, August may bring some strength to your ability to keep your perspective clear as to the whole of a context, instead of the limited or distorted contexts that often plague a difficult life. A key phrase for August could be said to be: BE BIGGER. Be bigger than the moment, bigger than the disappointment, bigger than the expectation or the effort or the results, bigger than the day. Just... Be Bigger. Make psychological space in your cells and atoms for all potential and possibility as a means to allow more creativity and acceptance in the life. And then embrace it all. END OF AUGUST REPORT [cimmarron] Hello Michael. Can you discuss helpful ways to build the immune system and some holistic ways Troy can improve his health? [Michael Entity] There are many physical efforts, including activity, diet, and supplements, that can sustain or rebuild an immune system, all of which would be in different forms and intake for each individual, but the one, single aspect that is directly related to the state of an immune system is the state of SELF-ESTEEM. This is true of all fragments. The state of the immune system is proportional to the state of self-esteem. Exercise, diet, and supplements can slightly counter the impact of low self-esteem/low immunity, but without addressing the depth of confidence and acceptance of the self, the immune system can still fluctuate to a state that is just as dangerous to the health. The immune system fluctuates for all fragments, relative to the Personality's sense of self-esteem, and allows for processes to occur on a physical, tangible level that were refused to be addressed on more emotional and intellectual levels. From the most terminal of illnesses to the most trivial of "colds," this is true. It could be said that in the transition of your world from Young to Mature, the greatest plague among you is the perpetuation of low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and acceptance of self, which is the root of all vulnerability to illnesses and injuries. This is not to say that all illnesses and injuries are "your fault" because you simply have low self-esteem, but it is to say that there is an equation at work here that is consistent. In Troy's case, there is a great need to overhaul his concept of self in relation to physical plane and emotional resonances. He is a fine example of the most spirited, lively, and active of Personalities (like many of you) who have adapted to your wounds, instead of healing them, choosing, instead, to focus on crisis, struggle, helping others, expression, or any other means to direct the attention away from those wounds. As with any physical wound that remains open and unattended, even emotional wounds can eventually become "infected" to an extent that demands attention. As we have always stated that one of the final lessons of the Physical Plane is in the experience of loving the self, and embodying agape, it could be said that this is prompted by the many lifetimes of wounding that will eventually find healing from that state. In other words, a major part of why you seek to love and be loved is because you also wish to be complete and healed, which is what you will be in your final lifetimes. This very motivation is also part of why you reject loving and being loved, as this means looking at wounds to which you have ignored or to which you have adapted, fooling yourselves into thinking you are "doing just fine." Without diminishing the beauty of who you are and what you have accomplished in terms of your personal growth, acceptance, and loving, we can easily say that none of you are actually "doing just fine." You all need help. You all need each other. You all can find wholeness in NOT doing just fine, and giving up the imprinting of the Young Soul era of constant justification for your existence. You do not exist alone, nor do you exist as means to only prove your existence was worth it. We realize we have responded more broadly for all of you and not just for Troy, but while his position now is defined the way it is, all of you can do well to address your feelings of self, and your feelings of having a right to simply BE. Our response, while broad, is just as important for Troy as it is for all of you. In terms of the physical plane effortst for supporting the immune system, we would agree with most who are educated about the human body that an increase in fresh fruits, vegetables, and a reduction of processed foods, refined sugars, and stimulants, along with a great increase in intake of water, can do wonders for at least stabalizing the immune system. [Kathryn41] my question feels so frivolous after that wonderful information. VBG! It is actually more of a quick observation, than a question . . . however, would it be fair to say that the August energy report resonates to a "Spiritualist" attitude? [Michael Entity] The energy we described is based in the variations of energy related to REALIST, but this is not in conflict with any other Attitude. The only conflict between Overleaves is always based in the position of expression between the Positive and Negative Poles. Positive Poles are never in conflict, while Negative Poles are almost always in conflict. With that being said, it might be true that those who are Spiritualists will find the more etheric, expanded energy of August to be more familiar than, say, the Cynic. However, because this broader perspective is also rooted in Realism, this can be challenging to the Spiritualist, especially if coming from the Negative Pole. [Ann] I would like to ask more about the notion of "justification of existence". Can Michael say more about how we feel the need to do this? Does it have something to do with toting up our "accomplishments"/ How much of it is imprinting? (sorry for the vagueness. Fying by the seat of my pants here) How does one step away from this justification? [Michael Entity] Part of the dynamic of being a Young Soul is to justify the presence and existence of self. This influence is still quite strong in your world, as you may have observed, despite the actual Soul Age of a fragment. For the Older Soul, this pressure can be a constant weight that makes no sense, but is still addressed with a great amount of attention. We wish to make clear that it is NOT necessary for Young Souls to justify their existence, but that there is a consistent inclination to believe that this is necessary, thus it becomes a part of the dynamic of Young Soul environments. It is an exhausting and daunting way of living for the Older Soul to endure this pressure, falling into the obligation to be tangibly productive, sustaining social standards of success, showing observable ambition, and relegating Play Time to a space and time that is rarely visited. When we say that many feel an obligation to "justify their existence," we mean that it is not enough for most of you to simply breath in life, to embrace love and kindness, to express joy. You must find REASONS for it, or only collect and express these things in relation to how rewarded you feel you deserve to be for what you have contributed. Because the standards for defining your worth are so superficial in most cases (financial stability, recognition, promotion, praise, working hard, rejecting playfulness, indulging in struggle) the Older Soul simply doesn't have the energy or motivation to "play along." This, then, contributes to the division felt between the self and the world. However, the Older Soul still "goes through the motions" of existing in this paradigm since it is so pervasive, thus betraying the self on a daily basis, diminishing the self-esteem. It is not that the Older Soul cannot play along in the current paradigms, but it is only when the Older Soul "buys into" the paradigm as a conclusive, limited space for living that the impact becomes harmful. And most of you do "buy into" it. What we mean by this is that most of you do not "look up" from your struggles for years before asking, "What the hell am I doing??!!" Many of you ask this question and then put your energy back into the same patterns, but some of you ask this and make the changes that allow room for your Being. To step away from the justification for your existence can be as simple as DOING WHAT YOU WANT TO DO (making the choices that lead you toward what you want, not what you think you must have), but more importantly than doing what you want to do is learning how to choose to HAVE FUN DOING WHAT YOU END UP DOING. It is not uncommon for any Soul Age to have to do what one doesn't want to do, but there is never a need to permanently perpetuate your distaste for that part of life. There are ways to always find joy or create joy in some way, either as a complement to the struggle, as a space after the struggle, or as pockets within the struggles. In the end, you exist with or without proving your worth in productivity. Consider this: If your life is an unlimited tap of water, it makes sense to relegate much of it to things you wish to grow around you, (and what you water is what you get), but you must DRINK of this life, too. Many of you continue to water many things around you, but never drink of your own source. All of you may choose to live in whatever way you feel inclined, but we share this with you so that you may also remember that it is your right, your choice, and your eventual evolution to realize that all of this is YOURS, with or without permission, approval, or productivity. It's YOUR life. And you are the source of it. Drink up. [rvolkman] While living in the physical plane, we are faced with choices that may raise fears and cause us to avoid doing things that we believe we truly want to do, or even to become "frozen in place". Knowing that we are completely safe as timeless souls, how can we integrate that knowledge and "feel" that safety at all times and in all things? [Michael Entity] It is quite difficult for most Personalities to reconcile the reality of the Essence's absolute safety vs the temporary, often painful, reality of being Physical as a Personality within a short period of time and space. Even the oldest of souls can be terrified of death, danger, and pain. Knowing "you" are absolutely safe in the scheme of things as an energy does not bring confidence and peace to the Personality who also knows that it will die, can be harmed, and wishes to avoid danger, however, part of the process of evolution for every soul is in the ACCEPTANCE OF BOTH REALITIES. It is not necessary to pretend that you are absolutely safe, because you are not absolutely safe, at least not in terms that the physical body can comprehend, and the physical body will do all it can to preserve itself, with or without your higher perceptions. It is okay to acknowledge the reality of your timelessness and absolute safety in terms of the soul and energy, but it is also part of your evolution to acknowledge that the "you" that "you" are in this life is the only time "you" will be that "you." It makes sense to feel a need to preserve this for as long as possible, as the Body and Personality do so love to be alive. However, what one can do is learn to assess life's choices more accurately than one was taught to do. By this we mean that MOST choices ARE NOT THREATENING to you or your body. Most fragments turn many potential choices into situations of magnitude that are disproportionate to the actual impact of the various potentials. It is a natural form of navigation to anticipate danger and harm within the range of potentials when making choices, but many of you experience these considerations as REALITY and then respond accordingly. Over time, many of you have programmed your navigational skills to simply highlight all danger and then to avoid those potentials. What one must learn to do, eventually, is to assess the potential for joy, for delight, for thrills, for love, and to start finding that most choices are worth the risk, especially when one can honestly see that there is very little potential for actual, physical harm. What one will do, eventually then, is to make choices that have assessed all of the potential possibilities of joy and happiness, rather than only navigating as a means to avoid danger. When one feels "frozen" in the attempt to move forward, especially in a direction that might seem to have potential for joy, one must only acknowledge gently the importance of the fear that only wishes to protect you, and then teach yourself something new for you to know: that you will survive most of your choices, even if they don't pan out the way you imagine. It is not a lie, or a fantastical myth, for us to state that all forms of sentience are designed by default to seek pleasure, happiness, and laughter, NOT to avoid danger. Only the body is designed to avoid danger. This is why we have said that to be embodied is a struggle between the sacred and profane, which must eventually find resolution. That resolution is often found in the sweet comfort of living as your Essence, and finding it your responsibility to understand the moments of fear, helping the self to navigate from a place that teaches the body and Personality that MOST of life is fun and pleasant, if not hilarious and playfully absurd, but not the constant danger that might always be anticipated. We have more to say about this, but we believe this is a good start for pondering the potentials for pleasure over danger in your choices. We will conclude here for now. Good day to each of you.
