    A bit on Spiritualist

[Extracted from OMW: The Truth, Love & Energy of You & Your Life] MEntity: The Spiritualist SEES LIFE AS IF THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE. All Attitudes and their Positive Poles describe the rising above what is seen, and knowing that there is more, in some way. For instance, the path to truth for the Spiritualist, then, is VERIFICATION, because he or she will measure what is seen against experience, information, history, etc., rather than just presuming that because it is seen, it is true.
  2. [Extracted from Ask Michael: November 2014] Brian: Hi Michael. How can one create an effective anchor to ground themselves during anxiety or stress? MEntity: There are two ways to do so, Brian- internally and/or externally. It would always do one well to nurture the internal grounding, first, considering that external forms are not always accessible, but it is helpful to identify external forces for grounding that one can use for support. Internal grounding methods to counter stress and anxiety would vary from individual to individual, but one can turn to the Attitude for help in determining methods for help with anxiety and stress. When one is anxious or stressed, it is often a result of falling into the negative pole of one's Attitude. The key to grounding for recovery from that stress and anxiety can come from the positive pole of the partner Attitude. For example, the Spiritualist has fallen into BELIEF. Anxiety can come from deciding what is true over knowing what is true. When one decides what is true without knowing what is true, it can be quite precarious in terms of anxiety and stress. To help the person in BELIEF to move back into VERIFICATION, the use of TRANQUILITY (the positive pole of Stoic) can be key. Internal Tranquility can come in the form of conscious breath, stopping all action, closing the eyes, and visualizing flying or floating. External Tranquility can come in the form of a bath, a conscious shower, with the flow of water moving over the body coming into focus to help dissolve the hardened beliefs that are causing stress. Then the Spiritualist can ask himself or herself again, "is this really true, or do I just think it is?" From that grounded space, Verification can come.

    You And Your Attitude

[Reproduction of Michael Speaks: You and Your Attitude] [M_Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here. We understand the topic to be that of Attitudes as they are defined within our teaching. Of course, there are 7 Attitudes, as there are 7 of every other Overleaf in our system. The 7 Attitudes are the Neutral or Assimilative PRAGMATIST, the Inspirational Stoic and Spiritualist, the Expressional Skeptic and Idealist, and the Actional Cynic and Realist. The Attitudes are specifically your personal means to interpret reality. The Attitudes could easily be said to be The 7 Basic Philosophies, as much of what is our more complete system now has been found isolated in various teachings throughout the ages. Each Attitude can easily find a correlation of a philosophy, which can shed a great deal of light on your personal Attitude. The Attitude could be said to be the “pivot” or “hinge” within our Personality System around which all other facets of your Personality move. Because the Attitude is intrinsically linked to your Intellect, the Attitude can “make or break” your sense of peace, trust, wholeness, etc. Whether you are Intellectually Centered or not, you still have an Intellect, and that Intellect works hard to interpret and make sense of reality. So, too, does your Attitude. It will go a long way toward freeing you from the traps of the Attitude and Intellect if you understand that it is not necessarily “the point” to “make sense” of reality, because literally, it is the opposite: your senses MAKE reality. Though we say your Attitude “interprets” reality, it may be more effective to understand that your Attitude “filters” reality. Both are valid descriptions. Though an Attitude is far from an imposition, it CAN be a limitation if you find you are not able to function within your ;particular Attitude's full spectrum of use. It can easily be said that, from the absolute worst struggles, to the most trivial of frustrations, these experiences are directly a reflection of how you are using your Attitude. When your Attitude is in its Negative Pole, regardless of what that may be, you have determined that you have completed your need for input for your basic philosophical stance. When the Negative Pole of the Attitude is in control, reality loses its creativity and flexibility, and instead becomes a tangled mess that must be understood immediately, even if the means to do so have not even come to pass. We can speak generally of Attitudes because the basic experience is quite consistent; it is the HOW of it all that is different among them. For instance, an Idealist in the Negative Pole and a Cynic in the Negative Pole will both share the struggle of trying to understand something within a limitation of input, but the Idealist will “naively” bumble his way through, while the Cynic will use “denigration” to destroy anything outside his comprehension. In the case of the Cynic, we do not mean an attempt to literally destroy, but that the Cynic will actively fight to remove any contradictions from his determined perception. In the case of each Axis of Attitude, you will find when they are in the Negative Pole, the reaction of the Attitude is to eliminate the Positive Pole experiences. When the Stoic is “resigned,” he will use inspiration to lead others into resignation, to validate his own perceptions. The Spiritualist will use inspiration to impose his beliefs on others as strongly as possible, to remove the need for verifying his perceptions. The Skeptic will simply express strong suspicions, riling others into an insecure space of perception, to remove the need for investigation. The Idealist will naively take on lofty goals and intentions, either with or without awareness, setting himself up for failure, so as to remove the experience of coalescence, which is the bringing together of parts to make a whole. The Cynic will actively remove all that contradicts his own determined perception. The Realist will insist that her perceptions are based in fact, even against the strongest of feedback that she is inaccurate, so as to remove her from having to be Objective. In addition, the Pragmatist will continue doing things, thinking about things, expressing things, exactly as they have worked for her to her satisfaction, regardless of the fact that input is dictating that there are more practical ways for the same things. The reason the Negative Pole is so strongly interested in eliminating the Positive Pole experiences is because the Attitude is the “brother or sister” to the Chief Features. We speak of these traits with anthropomorphic descriptions, only for the sake of relating, but we do not wish for you to mistake this means of description as if these parts of you are a separate consciousness. We do not say that they are, nor do we imply that they are. Because of our limitation of time, we will quickly point out what we believe may be the most important concern for your understanding of the Attitudes. Since the Attitude can be your prison or your means to complete freedom, we believe that when you are struggling in any area of your life, the first place to look would be to your Attitude. In understanding your Attitude, you would clearly be able to see that you may be in the Negative Pole, but the fastest and most effective means to move yourself out of it, is simply to choose a different angle of perception. Since the Attitude, while in the Negative Pole, so intently seeks to remove the experience of the Positive Pole of your Attitude, the “trick” is to use the Positive Pole of the Attitude that shares your Axis. If the effort is made, within minutes your life can change; or at least your attitude toward it, which can then lead to changing your life. When the Spiritualist is lost in her Beliefs and continues to find she is blocked from real, fulfilling Verification of her perceptions, it can free her to “slide” to the Positive Pole of Stoicism, which would be Tranquility. When Belief is in control, there is usually a strong need to get others to share in the belief, even if you, yourself have not Verified its place in your life. When the Spiritualist slides to Tranquility, she relaxes and surrenders gently to her perceptions. This then allows her to Verify things for herself, instead of finding others to do it for her. On the other hand, the Stoic may have given up on his life, resigning, which is a passive stance to the life. If he were to slide to Verification, he would be able to find that much of what he has resigned himself to is not even valid anymore as an imposition. We may not be able to go through all of the Attitudes with examples, but we will note that the Pragmatist has the ability to slide to ANY of the other Attitudes as a means to free himself from Dogma. We will now take any questions you may have, so we can respond to you, rather than use your time teaching what may already be available in print. QUESTIONS [MDFSage_Val] Can you describe a “spectrum of use” for an Idealist, or is this more an individual fragment thing/issue? [M_Entity] An Idealist lives within the spectrum of being “cursed” and “blessed” with the constant want for improvement. The Idealist has such a wider vision of most things that he can see patterns where others cannot. Within those patterns, he can also see how they can be improved, manipulated, or altered for the better. The struggle then comes from the Idealist being able to see the big picture, but not putting the effort into defining the STEPS it will take to get there. Therein lies the spectrum from Naivety to Coalescence. An Idealist can see that he has potential to run a marathon, but instead of taking the steps to prepare, he simply, naively runs in the marathon, until he collapses from the pain he could have avoided. [Suzanne] Michael, How would be best for an idealist & a spiritualist to relate to each other, one expresses while the other inspires? [M_Entity] The Spiritualist will always interpret relationships in terms of how inspiring they are, while the Idealist will interpret the relationships in terms of how much improvement is coming from them. [Suzanne] Rather interesting, as it can compliment. [M_Entity] If the Spiritualist feels her relationships are not inspiring, or that she is not inspiring, she will lose interest. The Idealist must feel as if the relationships are somehow improving each other, or he will feel they are not worth it. [Suzanne] Thank you, I understand better now [M_Entity] We are using pronouns randomly, for the sake of grammar. We are not intending anything to be specifically assigned to a gender. [Suzanne] Understood that too, thanks. [M_Entity] The Spiritualist could be said to be “cursed” and “blessed” with the philosophy that everything has potential. Within that spectrum, you will find the experiences ranging from blind faith or belief to valid verification of those potentials. We will point out one last point for your consideration before concluding tonight. When you are in the Negative Pole of your Attitude, you may find you are behaving more and more like the Attitude sharing your Axis, or attracting, or attracted to, those who share your Axis. This is your inherent move toward balance in perception and even if this is done without awareness, it manages, at least, to continue to give the option of choosing how you interpret your reality. So, an Idealist may tend to be very critical and skeptical as a means to balance his Idealism; the Spiritualist may find she is becoming less and less emotional and more passive as she seeks balance for her Beliefs. We shared as much as we could within your time allotted. We have much more to say about this topic, of course. We will conclude here. Good Night to all of you.
  4. [Excerpt from Energy Report: July 2012] As a cycle of pre-measured time unfolds, such as a year, it can be anticipated in understanding similar to describing and anticipating any Personality. Any system, such as another Personality system, Astrology, and even frequencies and meanings of color, could be used to describe these cycles of time, as they could also be used to describe geographical locations, communities, etc. because if there is a basic understanding of any system, it can be superimposed in a way that is quite useful and empowering. The greater the understanding of the system, the greater the understanding of that which is being superimposed upon. However, a vital, key awareness in any process of interpretation or superimposition is that “the map is never the terrain.” In other words, we can describe the year in Overleaves, Astrological terms, Color, etc, but that year will never exist through only those words; you still must live through the year as a way to know that year. This is true of any map. The ATTITUDE in our system of Personality is the individual's “map” of the terrain through which they will journey. It is your system of superimposition and interpretation. The Attitude is the lens through which one perceives, interprets, and archives his or her life, but IT IS NOT THE LIFE. When one looks at a map of New York City, it is not the same thing as walking its streets. When one looks at the stories of history books, it is not the same thing as having been there. When one looks through the eyes of his or her Attitude, it is not the same thing as what is being seen. We point this out because the shift in July moves in emphasis from the MODE to the ATTITUDE. Your Attitude is your collection of maps. One's Attitude is never just one map, but many, and always a collection that supports the same basic system of interpretation and superimposition that you are working to explore. This system is described by the name of the Attitude. One begins to collect maps of the terrain of their life soon after the 2nd Internal Monad, or when one actually begins to develop his or her own stable mobility. The maps used at 10 years old are very different from the maps used at 21 or 45 or 75, but they can be strikingly similar, with the maps building in extensiveness rather than in replacement, though a complete replacement of one’s maps can and does change, depending upon imprinting. As with our own Overleaf System, or any mapping system, the system of interpretation and superimposition is fairly neutral, and cannot determine the experiences that one will have when actually exploring the “terrain.” For example, the Idealist or a Spiritualist Attitude do not have an easier time, or a better perspective, than a Cynic or a Skeptic, but these different Attitudes do have very different systems of interpretation and superimposition; very different maps. One of the reasons we find that the cycles of a year move through an emphasis on the Attitude is so that all Attitudes may have a period of time each year to “see” the maps that may not be their own. We might compare this to one person becoming rather dependent upon a Subway Map of New York City, but then finding themselves looking at a map of walking tours through the Parks of New York City. It is not that one is better than the other, but having exposure to both (and more) can greatly enhance one's understanding of the city, and this can be said about your own exposure to the different Attitudes and maps that are used around you. You will always return to your own map, but there would come to be a sense of these other maps that can be carried with you and understood, even if not your default map. This allows you to understand the greater collective experience. To deny this expansion would be similar to someone describing New York City only terms of its Subway routes, denying all maps of waterways, Restaurants or Parks or Museums, etc. There is a necessity for multiple maps for a single terrain, because a single terrain offers up multiple layers of experiences. Your Attitude is not the truth, it is merely your means of exploring the truth. Soul Age often corresponds to the number of maps one can carry, if you will. The younger the soul, the fewer the maps, and the more invested and engrossed one is with the maps that are one's own. However, as the soul grows, the Personalities begin to carry around more maps, or put in terms relative to our Teaching, the Attitude expands. As the soul ages, its corresponding Personalities seek to understand more and more maps that are not one's own, and this is why we share the Energy Report. Understanding the collective world as it is being explored through a dominant, collective Attitude, helps one to expand upon one's place within the largest map of all, that eventually includes all of you.

    Spiritualism

[Excerpt from Energy Report: July 2012] As July unfolds, the collective emphasis is moving into the Attitude of Spiritualist. This means that the shift of perspective, or the system of interpretation and superimposition, is one toward POTENTIAL and POSSIBILITY. As with any move through a cycle, there tends to come an “entrance” through the more focused, restricted, and often fearful Negative Pole, and eventually a move into the broader, more inclusive, often loving Positive Pole. In this case, it would mean that July will probably begin by exploring Potential and Possibility through the more restricted, fearful, and focused lens. The perspective would be one that still emphasizes Potential and Possibility, but may tend toward the worst-case possibilities and potentials. This is not a bad thing. It is natural, and is intended to be a helpful perspective. One cannot explore the greater and preferable possibilities and potentials without, first, exploring the potential pitfalls and possible hurdles. The Negative Pole of Spiritualist is described as BELIEF. Belief is (consciously or unintentionally) confusing what MIGHT be true for what IS true. Just because something may be true does not mean that it is true, but Belief will insist that something is true, despite all lack of experience, and it often requires a rejection of feedback, facts, and discernment. If Spiritualist Attitude is about “what could be,”, then BELIEF is the insistence on “what could be” as being the same thing as the truth, instead of remaining as a potential truth. Belief is synonymous with Faith, or more accurately, Blind Faith. Beliefs are systems of interpretation and super-impositions that you have decided are true, but either have no evidence or support for that truth or perspective, or have rejected all evidence and support for the contrary. Belief could be understood as a map that has no terrain, or when one insists that the map IS the terrain, and blindly moves about based upon determined symbolism, rather than on feedback, facts, validation, discernment, etc. BELIEF is not necessarily a “bad thing,” as the Negative Pole is entered precisely for the process of discernment, validation, feedback, etc. It is an opportunity to look at what you Believe vs what is true. It is only when one decides to remain there that this Negative Pole is “negative.” Having a set of possibilities and potentials is something that experience helps to weed through so that what is true for you can come to light, not only in terms of a Personal level (what is true for you), but a Global (what is true relative to Earth's species, sciences, and nature) and Universal level (what is true of the Universe regardless of what is true for a species or planet), as well. Holding on to those possibilities and potentials (whether “good” or “bad”) is not the same thing as remaining in the Negative Pole. Once one has an understanding of all that he or she thinks or knows is possible or potential, then the aim is for the Positive Pole, which is VERIFICATION. Verification is the process of validating what you may have been told, or what you may have decided, is possible and potential. It is the measuring of the map against the terrain, and either updating the map, or replacing it. Verification allows one to see what is true, rather than simply insisting on what is true. Again, if you carry around a set of possibilities and potentials that have no validation, that is not the same thing as Belief. Some truths take time and energy to uncover, build, discover, validate, and know. Everyone carries around a great set of potentials and possibilities, but it is only when there is no interest in Verifying these that there comes to be fear, blind faith, and Belief. And so it is that July may come in as an awkward mix of sensing and anticipating exciting prospects, but finding oneself directing attention toward potential problems or pitfalls. Knowing these are possibilities, you can go forward and Verify, but if you treat these as truths before that, you have fallen into Belief.

    Spiritualists in Social Situations

[Excerpt from Ask Michael - February 1, 2015] [Kurt] Hi Michael, Attitudes appear in social situations, so I was wondering if you could talk about how Spiritualists appear/act in socializing. MEntity: In the positive pole, Spiritualists will tend to be listeners and hear you out, no matter what you are saying. They will tend to be open-minded, and give you the space to share your truth, without feeling compelled to agree with it or challenge it. They do not feel you are asking of them to believe anything, and they do tend to trust that you would do the same for them. In the negative pole, Spiritualists may tend to use you as a launching pad for sharing anything that might add an "oohh or an aahhh" to the exchange. The sharing is far more conclusive and sometimes even competitive in terms of challenging beliefs. In other words, they can tend to stretch the truth just to hear you react in awe, or to drown out your own beliefs if they are not interesting to them. In social situations, look for the Spiritualist to be the most indecisive, or the most decisive if in the negative pole. In the positive pole, they would help make the decision, but will not impose one. There are more symptoms of the Spiritualist in social scenarios, but this is a bit of an idea.
  7. [Excerpt from Energy Report: July 2010] MEntity: Spiritualism could be described as the philosophy of the immaterial, intangible, and non-physical as potential forces to consider. This philosophy can range from the more obvious spirituality that is often contained in religion, and personal values that include the concept of a soul with realms beyond the physical, to the intangibilities, hypotheses, and theories of science, along with thought, emotion, and anticipated long-term consequences. The Spiritualist philosophy does not always manifest as stereotypical religious, pagan, new age, or other metaphysical spirituality, but can manifest as a consideration of possibilities, long-term consequences, and the factor of thought and emotion as it plays in the world of action and result. ... The Spiritualist Attitude has the greatest capacity for True Intelligence as it has the natural inclination for grasping the long-term consequences of thought, feeling, and action. It may be thought that those who are professional scientists and researchers are those who would not have Spiritualist as an Attitude, but something more along the lines of Skeptic or Realist, but that is not the case. Truly scientific thought comes from the imagination, visions, and the by-passing of logic that is necessary for breakthroughs. All Attitudes have the capacity for True Intelligence, but Spiritualist defaults to embracing the emotional, intuitive, perceptive forms of navigation, which are important elements of True Intelligence that other Attitudes can tend to reject, resist, or limit to specific contexts. The Spiritualist does not restrict intelligence to logic, and embraces the perceptive and intuitive, and this can be its strength or its weakness. The Positive Pole of Spiritualist is Verification, which allows for possibility, anticipation, and potential, but elaborates upon those qualities and validates them through the combined use of logic, intuition, and feeling. Validation for the Spiritualist is done through a loop of awareness that seeks to match possibility, pattern, and probability against actuality. The Negative Pole is Belief, which throws out all logic, intuition, and feeling and simply decides what is valid, or accepts what has been deemed as valid by others.

    2008 Overleaves

FROM THE ORIGINAL MBLOG ENTRY: It's that time of year again to take a look at how Michael interprets the year ahead in Overleaves! YAY! Before listing the overleaves for 2008, I include below an old excerpt that helps describe how Michael assigns Overleaves to a year. I don't know if you guys know this, but some channels get in the Overleaves for the year as they relate to their particular group/community, or sometimes the entire region around the area of that community, and other times it is just relative to their nation or continent, and then some receive the Overleaves for the globe. All are valid, but I've tended to find the global overleaves to be most relevant for use in the year for more people and helps us understand what is happening outside of our doors and not just in our personal circles. For instance, California can have its own set of overleaves, while the United States might have another set of Overleaves, and the planet having yet another set of Overleaves. Sometimes they are a match, sometimes they are in conflict. This year there is a LOT of pockets of varying Overleaf sets within the global set, which the global set helps explain. If you'd like to know your local Overleaves, just let me know. MICHAEL'S STATEMENT ABOUT THE OVERLEAVES FOR A YEAR Our Overleaves system can be used to describe any collection of energies, ranging from the dynamics of the actual Personality to the general “mood” of a room, society, fictional character, theme of groups, or a planet’s general atmosphere of consciousness. In addition to this, when a block of time is selected, that time frame can be translated into a description of energies based on what we perceive as the momentum of events, consciousness, and choices that will POTENTIALLY contribute to that period of time. The Overleaves for a year, then, are our interpretation of those events, consciousness, and choices as we see that they are most likely to be brought to bear in your world. The more participating one is in “the world,” the more likely these energies will be of concern, though one’s inactivity does not exempt one from world or local energies, anymore than staying inside can take away the fact of a rainstorm. The rainstorm outside can have as much an effect on one inside as on one who is outside, depending on personal interpretations and experiences of that rainstorm. The very basic energy, or basic context, of a year can be described in two Overleaves: the Role and the Center. These two basic energies are those that can contribute to your year feeling "comfortable" or "challenged" during the year unfolding, depending on your own Overleaves and your method of participation in "the world." These two energies are most obvious in the first three months of a year, but their effects will remain steady throughout the year. In addition to these basic energies, the GOAL of the year will become implemented in those first three months, approximately. It can be said that ALL of the Overleaves we use to describe the year are in effect ALL year, but the particular frames of time described below are the "seasonal" emphasis of those particular Overleaf qualities. General “Seasonal” Energy emphasis: The ENTIRE YEAR is based within the energies of the ROLE and CENTERING. January through March implements and emphasizes the GOAL. April through June implements and emphasizes the MODE. July through September implements and emphasizes the ATTITUDE. October through December implements and emphasizes the CHIEF FEATURE. 2008 Global Overleaves ROLE: King Center: Emotional GOAL: Growth MODE: Perseverance ATTITUDE: Spiritualist CHIEF NEGATIVE FEATURE: Arrogance MICHAEL: As the year of 2008 begins, so will the unrolling of the energy that we would describe as KING and EMOTIONAL energies. These energies will more than likely describe the basic context of the coming year, based on our observations of momentum and patterns for your planet. Most fragments intend for this year to emphasize a true shift in leadership, authority, and guidance on a global scale (and on a personal level), but with the exploration rooted in Emotional Centering, the shift might come at some cost to some degree for some who will be disappointed, with near-bliss for others who are not disappointed. In a King year, politics tend to be amplified in the media and brought to an important individual level, and since this appears to be an Emotionally Centered year, we imagine this process will tend toward being "very personal," with reactions and expressions strong in response to the shifts during the year. This could be said to be a year of EXTREMES, emphasizing strong divisions of stance and approach to almost everything, as this is a year of Growth and this would mean to us that everyone will be searching for, and creating, MEANING from their perceptions and experiences. Contrasts in Meaning can indicate Division and Herding will ensue as each person seeks to find the "like-minded" and merge with the sanctuary of that crowd. With Perseverance in the air, we would expect that very few will "back down" in their personal perceptions and meanings when confronted with a difference, leading us to observe high potential for gang wars heightening in activity, political chaos to rise and flow forth, and escalation of war, in general. With Spiritualist in effect for the year, it can indicate a great deal of energy generated from unfounded BELIEFS and the efforts to impose those beliefs upon others as a form of validation, rather than seeking the inherent validation of a perception through verification. This could be said to be a year of absolute redirection toward a potential that has yet to have been tapped among the populations of the globe as a whole community, or an extreme set back in entrenching the divisions among various populations. The same could be said among smaller communities and families as those in authority persevere, unchanging in their agendas even at the cost of those who are "below" him or her. What we've described so far has been based on the momentum as it stands at this very point, but it is still a high probability that shifts can occur in the directions that would be deemed more "positive." While extremes will most likely remain a factor of 2008, those extremes could be seen as defining lines among populations and communities as a means to more clearly bring to each what is needed and wanted, using the heart as a bridge across those differences and sharing resources, offering inclusions, and either moving into authority a person who can tend to these variations, or moving the current authority toward a broader consciousness that can then tend to all differences. In another Emotionally-centered year, it might not be surprising that floods, pipe breaks, dehydration, and other water-related issues come up for individuals and smaller communities. As this is not a Higher Centered year, we don't suspect any major disasters resulting from floods, but this could change. From our perception at this point, the highest potential for "disaster" in terms of flooding might come in the form of a dam bursting. This disaster would be relative to the consciousness generating energy around the planet and if the extremes move increasingly toward division and battle, a dam burst would not be surprising. Because of the King energy and the Emotionally-centered year, we also suspect that "discoveries" will be a major theme throughout the year, though many of these discoveries will have happened rather further in the past, it might be deemed that announcements are appropriate now. We say this because when the King is mixed with Emotional Energy, it tends to be important to expose "secrets" as a means to maintain peace. In other words, the more people know (or think they know), the less restless and intent they tend to be in attention toward the authority at hand. Highlights during the year for the Older souls might be in the exciting transcendence of current levels of communication between Gorillas and Humans; a dramatic display of compassion from a pod of dolphins helping a family; and potential resurgence of several papers that were thought to have burned in the fires of Alexandrian libraries. We speak of these not as a prediction, but as having high probability for showing up in your current year. For our students we can suggest as the year unfolds from January through March that most of your emphasis is going to move toward creating or uncovering meaning in your days, your relationships, your work, etc. It will suddenly seem a strong motivating factor to continue doing what you are doing because you realize that you truly bring meaning to your life through its implementation, or you shift directions drastically, finally saying YES to the directions that you know now can generate and support meaning for you. This is the energy of Growth as it brings into emphasis the Evolution that is possible in every experience. Evolution on this level can only occur if one has created meaning for the experience. If no meaning has been created, Confusion occurs. We can say to those who relate to the Confusing energies that we suggest defining what you wish to gain as Meaning from your experiences FIRST before trying to randomly find meaning imposed upon you in ways that make no sense. We see most of our students feeling a burst of "taking charge" of the direction of life and "standing tall" within the chosen context. For instance, those who wish to Love might find a strong emphasis on standing strong and stating with conviction, "I CAN Love. I Love." Those who might have been quieter and more humble in their display of skills and talents might now find the energy to "own" those skills and talents without downplaying or dismissing them, finding better footing for the direction one would like to go with those skills and talents. It could be said that they might now "stand tall" and proclaim, "This IS who I am! I bring this to the world for all of us!" For some, the emphasis might be on finally "standing tall" and doing what has been avoided for years, gaining the strength to proclaim, "I CAN DO and I WILL! I am SAFE!" Regardless of the emphasis, the potential for fulfilling intent is high during 2008 and we can encourage all of you to consider harnessing that energy for leadership, growth, perseverance, potential, and perception. As this century emphasizes more than ever the importance of CHOICE, it could be said that the choice this year for the globe is based in the decisions along personal paths that then lead to choices on larger scales between PEACE and WAR, literally and figuratively. -Michael
