  1. NWM - Feb 20, 2016 - Accepting Death Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin. Today we are asked to speak on the acceptance of death. We will speak to this from both the approach toward your own death and the deaths of others. For most, the experience of death is associated with loss. There is validity to this, but today we will point to some greater truths about death that allow loss to be a PART of death, and not the definition of death. Before we begin, we would pose a question to each of you. With as much honesty and as much stripping of romantic notions as possible, would you consider yourself afraid of, confused by, unaffected by, welcoming, or curious about death? (choose one closest to your usual feelings/thoughts about it) Janet: Curious Bobby: Same, curious PeterK: Confused DianeHB: Curious and a little afraid Maureen: Curious and Afraid (of others dying - not me). Colleen: Sometimes afraid of it such as worried about waking up in my coffin. Maureen: If that is a question ...cremation is the answer. :) Colleen: No, I don't want to be burned up. Maureen: I'm changing my answer to welcoming rather than curious. That was not a test question, but a prompt for a baseline in exploring with us. What we will do is speak to the acceptance of your own death, first, and then the acceptance of death of others can be extrapolated from there. First: you will die. Death is a universal experience, a universal Truth. It is universal in the sense that Death = Transformation, and transformation is a result of evolution, and evolution is a momentum throughout the entire universe and beyond. Death can come in many forms across the universe, but death cannot be escaped. Death exists as a part of the dynamic of the universe and beyond, so that even universes "die." From the perspective of Personality, this can look like loss and "the end." That is because the Body is designed to avoid death. It is designed to extend the experience of living in a body for as long as it can. It is an unconscious design because it is anatomic, or put another way, it is an inherent choice that need not be made on a daily basis because the fact of having a body means that you already chose to be alive. Once the choice is made to incarnate, the choice is made to live in a body. This need not be a conscious choice made every single day or moment, so the body takes on the task to navigate toward life and away from death. This is the negative pole of the Instinctive Center, and a part of all living beings in physical form. This is the most-basic of choices made by all creatures. Most creatures are driven instinctively, or anatomically. The positive pole of the Instinctive Center is Atomic. This is when you learn to make choices that can go beyond programming and "instinct." This is why humans can commit suicide or willingly make choices that override the instinct that would normally keep the body alive. This is not to say that all suicides are conscious choices, but that many are. Whether suicide is a choice or a result of other factors, it is always a matter of overriding the instinct to live. Our point being that death is seen as the opposite of life because of this anatomic dynamic. Death must be understood as the opposite of life until the true nature of life and the universe is understood. If death is ignored and approached with no concern, the quality of life can diminish greatly. This has happened in various cycles of history on Earth. From genocides to witch hunts to manufactured poverty to war, etc. When death is ignored or regarded without concern, it is used as a means of destruction or self-destruction. This is why most fear death, are confused by it, or apathetic to it. If this anatomic sensitivity to death is ignored before there is an understanding of the true nature of life and the universe, the results can be worse than death, itself. We share this with you to help you understand that you fear death, are confused by it, or unaffected by it because you live in a world that has not yet comprehended the true nature of life and the universe. Even as Old Souls, you may have a great sense of the true nature of life and the universe, but when submerged in a world that does not comprehend this, you are bombarded by imprinting that confuses you and has a long way to go toward that understanding. This does not undo your understanding as Essence, but it undoes your understanding as Personality. As an Old Soul you are born with this understanding, but your Personality is inculcated back toward the dependence upon anatomic navigation. You are taught quickly to mourn death, to be sorry for it, to reach out in sympathy and your experiences of death are quickly shown to be painful and deeply horrifying. It is easy to quickly take this stance as your own and remain with it. Even as you Manifest Essence, this is such a deep and instinctive dependency that even the wisest of souls with the greatest number of deaths under her belt can still find death perplexing and upsetting. So today we speak directly to the forgotten core of you who truly comprehends the nature of life and the universe. Maureen: That is making me cry. Understanding the nature of life and the universe does not mean that you will override your efforts to stay alive, but to include that effort as a CHOICE, not a reaction or fearful response to threat. When you function from the positive pole of your Instinctive Center you do not ignore the negative pole, you simply repurpose it. When in the Positive Pole, overriding your Instinct to live simply means that you not only trust your body to navigate away from threat, but that you choose to live. And choosing to live is one of the greatest paths toward accepting death. This may seem ironic, but not when you understand the nature of life and the universe. To clarify what we mean by the "nature of life and the universe:" The nature of life and the universe is change, evolution, transformation. Everything you do aims for these things. Everything. Even your resistance to these. Nothing in existence truly avoids change, evolution, and transformation. Nothing. This means that to understand this means to understand the necessity of death as a version of these very aims. Some say that you begin dying as soon as you are born. This is true, but not in the sense that the life is then rendered meaningless. Quite the opposite. If you exchange the term "dying" with "evolving" you can see why your life is immediately aiming for death upon birth. Understanding the nature of life and the universe is to put death into the same category as a beautiful sunset, a blooming flower, a cocoon-to-butterfly, a great night of sleep, a profound trust in existence. However horrific and painful the death, we are speaking of the death, itself. The path toward death is a separate discussion. Every life has its sunset. Every life blooms and then drops its petals. Cocoons into release and transformation. Requires a great rest/review. It is fair to grieve your lack of access to the Person and Personality who you loved in your life. This is natural. This is separate from understanding and accepting death. If you have experienced a break up of a relationship or a divorce or a failed friendship, you know this same grief. You know that this grief is separate from your acceptance of the truth of the change. You must grieve. Grief is not an indication of lack of understanding. Chronic grief may indicate a rejection of the truth of death, but even this is not indicative of a lack of understanding. Things that are understood can be rejected. We must make it clear that you are not obligated to understand or accept death. You will die anyway. Others will die anyway. And you will continue to cycle through remembering and forgetting. If you choose to understand and accept death, here are some key elements to consider: DEATH IS A PART OF LIFE, NOT THE OPPOSITE OF LIFE. Death is normal. It is not a surprise. You know very early in life that it will come. This does not mean you will not be sad or upset when it comes to others or even to yourself, but one of the primary foundations for accepting death is to stop pretending that it is a surprise element of life. DEATH ADDS MEANING, IT DOES NOT NEGATE MEANING. The fact that you will die does not negate the effects of a life lived. There may have been so much more you wanted to do, or that you know someone could have done, but they will do it. You will do it. The ideas survive. The body is recycled. The fact that death will come to all and even to this universe in billions of years does not make that time meaningless. It makes everything on the other side of death and every life beyond that ever more meaningful. This life means more to you than any life has ever meant before this. And future lives will mean even more. This is not because early lives are meaningless, but that death helps comprehend that meaning of every single day of that life lived. You carry this forward into the next life, and the next. LIVE YOUR LIFE SO THAT YOUR DEATH IS A PART OF IT, NOT AN INTERRUPTION OF IT. One of the more comforting ways to accept death is to live life. To truly live it. To make the choices you mean to make. To say the things you wish to say. To reach out to those you wish to reach. To allow room for others to not be what you expect of them. To allow room for you to fail. To allow room for you to succeed. To play, to experiment, to lay around and do nothing, to be irresponsible and upset and annoyed. To be filled with bliss and love and affection. All of this is life. There is nothing that is not life. To live this means to aim for what you prefer, to navigate through that which you do not prefer, and to embrace all of it as yours. GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION ARE FUELS FOR ENTHUSIASM AND KINDNESS, and these build the greatest bridges between life and death. Expressing and acknowledging all that you appreciate and for which you are grateful helps to fuel your enthusiasm and helps to increase the radius of your kindness. This cannot be stressed enough. The practice of this awareness is quite easy to ignore, and in some cases we know it nearly impossible to extract from a difficult life, but even in the darkest of lives there are moments that can be considered. One need not start a gratitude journal or some other ritual that might reduce the effects of appreciation by turning it into repetitiveness. Simply take a moment as you remember, as you feel it, and hold it for a moment in your consciousness. Let this float from you like energetic spores to share in the world. Many of you make it a common practice to complain, to notice what you do not want, to notice what you do not like, to fight against that which is unfair and ugly, and we can say that this easily becomes 45% to 75% of our students' conscious dynamic. This is not a bad thing. We are merely saying that it is a choice. And that you have other choices. You do not have to stop your good fights, your noticing of injustices, your navigation of preferences and repulsions, but you can lay down alongside all of this the truth of wonder and joy and love of this life. Noticing "the bad" in life fuels your self-karmic dance through life, while a focus on "the good" fuels your enthusiasm, vitality, and kindness. Both are necessary elements, but one tends to be easier to ignore. When the emphasis is primarily on your disappointments, losses, struggles, and on "the bad," then death comes as an interruption that seems to come before you got a chance to live. Allowing room for the enthusiasm, kindness, and vitality lets you fully live so that death comes as a part of life. LIVE FOR MORE THAN LIFE. Live for Joy. Live for Happiness. Live for Love. Live for Meaning. Live for You. Live for Animals. Live for Curiosity. Live for People. Live for more than life. This makes death come as a comma in your existence rather than as a traumatic halt. UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD, YOU ARE ALIVE. Living with a fear of death or a rejection of it can drain you of life force long before death will. So live as if you are alive until you are not. And finally: CONTINUE TO LEARN NEW THINGS LEARNING can sometimes become a passive element in a life that reduces the meaning and quality of life so that death comes looming as an interruption. When you consciously make the effort and choice to continue learning, you are choosing to live not only until you die, but far beyond death. LEARNING is as constant as Change. To hook into the momentum of Learning is to hook into your persistence of existence. You cannot change the fact that change exists. You cannot change the fact that existence exists. You cannot NOT learn. To consciously embrace any of these truths is beneficial, but to embrace and nurture Learning is to embrace all of it. We have spoken to you about the process of death in other exchanges, and we can tell you over and over about the nature of life after death, but today we remind you to live as a path of acceptance of death. You will die. You will live. You will do both. If you die tomorrow, you will want to have known that you lived today. We will open the floor for a few questions: QUEUE IS NOW OPEN Yes, Maureen. Maureen: Michael, is this session today with you, and what we have learned, reference what Troy and I were talking about on January 16th: Maureen: I feel like I'm having to come to terms with death in a way that is "new". Troy: Same here. A new level. Not intentionally, Maureen. But in a year where death will be prominently featured, it is helpful to look at the concept in new ways and meaningful ways that help to bring understanding. Many of our students are finding the necessity to perceive, understand, and accept death in a new way this year. Next, Colleen. Colleen: Could you speak more about exit points? How are these determined? How does a person skip an exit point? How does one recognize that an exit point was avoided? Exit Points are managed by Essence. There have to be Exit Points considered upon creation of a life. This is because death will come. Since this is a fact of life, Essence anticipates various factors that might contribute to "the best deaths" and the timing of those deaths. There tend to be an average of 3 Exit Points set up, and up to 12. These are not hidden from Personality, but Personality does not have the capacity for access to that information or the capacity for processing it. Comprehending Exit Points is the equivalent of "try to think of no color." Every thought of no color is a color. Every effort to consider an Exit Point is redirected toward living, toward life, toward existence. This is because the body is designed to hold its form in matter. YOU may continue to exist, but the matter that forms your physical body returns to the Physical Plane. To consider this is counter to its design to live, to survive. So Essence sets these up and they are coded into the body in various ways that look exactly like life to the body. For lack of a better word, these are fragile threads and dissolve over time. Or they are reinforced, depending upon parameters set by Essence. If the threads are reinforced, they are because the life is collecting the experiences relative to making that Exit Point relevant. If they are dissolving, then that Exit Point is passed. Sometimes one can sense when an Exit Point was passed. These are usually marked by a sharp dive into grief 'for no reason" and then a burst of vitality and focus on moving forward. These are symptoms that can indicate many things, so they are not easy to differentiate from just having a bad day, but some who are sensitive enough and know their dynamic of emotional landscape well, they can sense the Exit Point was passed. DianeHB: What do you mean they are "coded" into the body? in DNA? Diane, the "coding" is subtle energy that is "threaded" in various ways throughout the body. Depending on this placement of threading there is an event triggered. If this is based in illness and aging, then it is in the DNA. If it is relative to a combination of external factors such as disaster, murder, accident, etc. then that thread is part of a network among all involved. DianeHB: wow We will add that while Essence designs Exit Points into the life before birth, Alternate Exit Points are developed through cumulative actions and choices of the Personality outside of that original set. We will conclude with Claire's question. Next, Claire. Claire: "This is not to say that all suicides are conscious choices, but that many are. Whether suicide is a choice or a result of other factors..." Can you elaborate on this statement, in view of the fact that you always stress the importance of Choice in everything? In what way is suicide not a Choice? Suicide will always be a choice, but not a conscious choice. When suicide is seen as the only choice, it is usually not a conscious choice. That is because when awareness is involved, then the range of choice is much clearer. When there is little awareness, or little consciousness, then it may seem that it is the only choice. Claire: Wouldn't that be true of most suicides then? We are speaking here of those who suicide from despair, not from the choice to end a life in a body that is dying. Claire: Yes, those are different. Claire, no. Many make the choice to end their life even as they know there are other solutions. They still make the choice to end the life. When it is thought or felt that there is no other option, then it is not a conscious choice. When it is chosen even as other options are clear, then it is a conscious choice. When suicide is a conscious choice, it is usually not from despair. Consider this analogy: The difference between a sky diver who plummets to the ground and a person who leaps from a bridge is not different in the end, but it is very different in the choice to jump and most of the fall toward death. Both who die on impact will reach the same point, but how and why they got there makes a difference. We must conclude here for today. Good day to each of you. Goodbye, for now. We are as alive as any of you. We are just not as dense. And the humor is intended. Goodbye, for now.
  2. OMW - Jan 21, 2012 - Nurturing and Finding Your Agreements Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here. Due to some distress in Troy's body, we ask that you be aware that there may be starts and stops in the first many minutes. But we are here. In an effort to move these workshops into a truly "workshop" format, we may be asking more questions of you, and encouraging more obvious and active participation, than usual. We will, first, thank you for your fulfilling your Agreements to be here. There are two sets of Agreements in place here: those between us and you, and those between Troy and you. The Agreements with Troy must be fulfilled before Agreements with us can be fulfilled, at least in terms of working with us through this particular Channel. That is the case with any of our Channels. We may return to that dynamic, later. First, we will define Agreements: ALL Interactions or Impact of Significance and Meaning are Agreements. In other words, nearly every relationship of significance or impact involves some sort of Agreement. However minor or major the interaction, impact, significance, or meaning. When we are asked about Agreements, we tend to sift through to bring to light those that are the most obvious in their impact and meaning on a conscious level, but there are many many more for every one of those that we bring to light. If you interact with any other person, you clearly have Agreements in place, but there are also Agreements in place that are not as obvious. Agreements come in three ways: through Essence, through Personality, through Necessity. There are other ways to describe the process of obtaining Agreements, but for this workshop, this is how we will describe them. AGREEMENTS OF NECESSITY Those made by Necessity are those that are vital for your basic existence. They could also be described as Social Agreements. These are the Agreements that allow you to interact with those who provide services, support, and other basic necessities of your days. Most of the emphasis from our Students and Channels tend to bypass the importance of these Agreements, but they are vital. Even more so than those on a "higher" level, as the necessities of your days must be fulfilled before even considering building upon them. Essence has no control or capacity for planning those Agreements. They must be fulfilled by the very nature of being alive and in a body. To deny oneself the fulfillment of these Agreements is to dismantle a great many of those "higher" Agreements. And by "fulfillment" we mean that there is an awareness in place that brings gratitude for those necessities being fulfilled. The kind grocer. The begrudging, tired check-out woman. The trash men. The drive-through attendant. The gas station attendant. The secretary or receptionist. The Customer Service representative. The smile from a stranger. The more one ignores, dismisses, rejects, and denies the value of Agreements in the life that are fulfilling necessities, the more one tends to miss the 'higher" Agreements that are in waiting. So our first round of encouragement for participation in the workshop is: Consider 3 Agreements of Necessity that you can describe from your past few days for which you know were fulfilled, and for which you can now generate a sense of gratitude. We will suggest Geraldine assign an order to the responses, and we include Geraldine and Bobby in this workshop. [GeraldineB] Start from the bottom up -- Maureen [Maureen] 1&2) agreement with client - their support to me & vice versa [Maureen] 3) healthcare (minor) for husband (stuff he couldn't do on his own) [MEntity] Those would not fall into the category of Agreements of Necessity. Agreements of Necessity are those that fulfill the basic necessities of your days. [Maureen] I can't think of any - offhand then?? [EricM] it's hard, yes? we tend to take then for granted [MEntity] The experiences you describe ARE Agreements, but of an higher order, and are not necessities. That is our point. Most of you do not give them a second-thought, and then wonder why you cannot discern those of a higher order. [Maureen] putting a bandage on my husband's head is "of a higher order"? [MEntity] Go as far back into your recent past as you have to go, but there will easily have been 3 Agreements fulfilled from positions that would normally be dismissed as basic errands, or basic services, or "insignificant." This is from where we suggest your Agreements of Necessity be acknowledged. Maureen, to help clarify: Agreements of Necessity are those which tend to be taken for granted, and are often with people that you feel are simply props in your life to fulfill basic needs, such as a check-out girl, a waitress, a customer service representative; [Martha] I think I have it [MEntity] But they can also extend into those people in your life that you give little credit for all of the service and/or support that they give on a continuous basis that caters to your most-basic needs. Such as those who may be providing a shelter, food, social interaction, even if you resent them or take them for granted. This is not to say that Agreements of Necessity are not tied into those of a "higher" order, but we are starting with the emphasis on those areas of the life that are taken for granted, first. To make this even clearer: IF those who are in these positions that fulfill these Agreements of Necessity do not fulfill the Agreement, your entire day can be "completely ruined." If the check-out girl refuses to take your money, the Agreement is not fulfilled, and your day can be completely thrown off. If services that you count on are not fulfilled, your entire day can be thrown off. If a stranger scowls at you instead of smiles at you, it can throw off your day. If the trash is not picked up, it can become a serious issue. Yet all of these can so easily be taken for granted. So we will ask again: In your most-recent past, can you describe 3 Agreements of Necessity that were of such a level that they would normally be taken for granted, but if they had not been fulfilled, could easily have affected your days? [GeraldineB] I'll go out of turn to get the ball rolling — my real life necessity agreements span a longer period of time as I don't have much outside contact -- but I would include the maintenance man who shovels my walk of snow; my potential care coordinator — preliminary contact made, although this will develop into a stronger agreement; my last trip to Freddie's where I purchased groceries; and several weeks ago the Customer Service rep who handled my payment for internet and reactivated my service due to shut-off [Martha] IRS agent who didn't make me feel like an ass, Dentist who did a great job on my implant, Pharmacy tech that helped unscramble Morgan's acne med approvals [MEntity] These would be Agreements that fall into Agreements of Necessity. [Maureen] The Apple customer service guy who helped me over the phone to order something (wouldn't have received the goods otherwise). [MEntity] Now we can say we are reading valid examples. We suggest that each of you share three, at least. [Maureen] To be honest (and fair) — I take my husband much more for granted — I am usually "hyper-aware" of these smaller agreements. I feel I do notice them – often when those around me aren't. I'm not saying I see ALL of them — but I don't miss much. [LisaC] my parents; our shoddy newspaper deliverer; and, um, people on the internet, maybe? [Liisa] all I can think of are my fellow students at university, that I don't know that well, whom have spontaneously talked to me or smiled at me. Also the help I received at the place where I am doing my teaching practice. [EricM] post office lady who prepped and sent my package overseas, the credit union tellers every time I have an errand there, the sushi girl at HEB (temptress of tempura though she is) and my parents largely fit into this category as well [Janet] There was a guy at Petco this week who helped me find some items for my dog, and one was not on the shelf to be easily located. The folks at Amazon.com — my go to place for almost anything. The friendly stranger at the carwash who commented to me about how proud my "poised" daughter should make me. [MEntity] Based on your understanding of your elaboration, then, Maureen, list your three Agreements of Necessity again so that we see all three. [Diane_HB] The waitresses at the Vietnamese restaurant we go to once a week; cashiers at our neighborhood coffee shop (who kept it open in the snow); our mailman. [EricM] I guess the energy company guy who stopped by about an hour ago to ask if we'd showcase our house might fall under that too, though that'd be more of an inconvenient agreement [AnnH] Rich the building maintenance guy who shoveled the snow, the lady at the dry cleaners who signs for and holds the packages, the check-out people at Target and Michael's. [Maureen] The checkout guy at a reportoire theatre took a Credit card -- and was very helpful. The guy that installed our under-sink filters (very, very bright) and helpful... [MEntity] Bobby is encouraged to participate, as well, if he is present. [Bobby] My neighbor, whose boat I helped rake snow and branches off of when a limb from a tree in my yard collapsed due to icing. A grocery check out lady. A fast food cashier. [EricM] The power guys who got you back from the land of cold and dark [Bobby] oh yes, especially those! [Janet] And Troy's internet service people. [Bobby] all listed were storm related though, too [Maureen] The Filter Guy — had to come back another day ( I should have been "put-out — but I didn't feel that way) — I was extremely impressed with him — and told him so [MEntity] As you can see, it is quite easy to miss even the most-obvious of benefits from those who fulfill Agreements of Necessity. As you can see from Troy's experience, the lack of fulfillment of the Agreements is quite an impact. If the Agreements had been fulfilled, it would have been easily overlooked as someone simply "doing their job." When those who are in positions upon which you rely are not "doing their jobs," it can be quite profound in impact. So these Agreements of Necessity are the lubrication that allows your life to work within the paradigm you exist so as to then fulfill the higher Agreements. [Bobby] We get the point... now Michael, please turn Troy's internet service back on! [MEntity] We do not have control over such things, but we can assure you that we have not dropped our connection to the channel, regardless of how he might have to find a way to bring it to you. But each of you have Agreements on a higher order to fluctuate with Troy's life as a means for working with him and with us, as each of you "know' he is working through the 6th Level of his Soul Age. We will return to this in a moment. Before we move into those higher Agreements, we will ask each of you if you sense a "shift" within as you consider just how much of your day exists as a result of those Agreements being quietly fulfilled? [LisaC] yeah, somewhat [Bobby] Yes. [Martha] I think is something I'm aware of already, but could do with more conscious attention [Diane_HB] Yes, I feel more love for those service workers I take for granted. [Liisa] yes, a different perspective [EricM] somewhat. I try to acknowledge them at the moment, but the shift is thinking about it more often [MEntity] These Agreements of Necessity are in place precisely so that you do not "have" to think about them. [GeraldineB] I may not do the old fashioned "give a Christmas gift" to all of these people; however, I'm well aware of how much I need them and go out of my way to express pleasant gratitude at the time of contact [AnnH] Yes. Now I know why I often tell myself I should be kinder and more attentive. It's been a subconscious awareness perhaps? [Janet] Having been one of those service people I have been fairly aware of them but I never realized there were Agreements surrounding those interactions. [MEntity] But as the Soul grows older, so does the gradual sensitivity toward all that goes into a lifetime, even when the lifetime is not exactly as one would wish for it to be. [EricM] Agreed with Janet [MEntity] It becomes more and more difficult to ignore or underplay the benefit that even the most-remote stranger brings to your life by simply "doing his or her job," or sharing a smile with you, or being patient that one moment longer, or giving you the space and freedom and basic necessities that allow you to exist on your own terms. [EricM] so what about those interactions that tend to interrupt the day, like sales calls, jehovah's witnesses or the energy guy from an hour ago? [MEntity] If any of our students were to take even a few moments at the end of his or her week to assess what went into that week's existence on the most-basic of levels, it would be overwhelming in scope as to just how many Agreements had to have been fulfilled. We share this insight with you regarding the Agreements of Necessity so that, when you are feeling lonely, confused, lost, frustrated, exasperated, depressed, etc., you can take a moment to truly grasp just how much of the universe, your life, and the spectrum of participants in it, are actually "on your side." For the most part, except in extreme scenarios of Karma, every fragment is a part of a network of Agreements of Necessity that span across the entire Design. These Agreements of Necessity are what help to build relationships beyond your Cadre, and beyond your Energy Ring. They are often fulfilled by those far beyond your Cadre. This is the way of Sentience for beginning the networking that will continue to grow through the Astral and Causal Planes. We point this out so that you can know that these Agreements of Necessity are far more than simply returning your home to power, or fixing your plumbing, or being patient and helpful from a service position: they are contributions to our return to Tao, together. To us, this has been one of our "favorite" observations to comprehend, as the dynamic involved here is beyond most individual concepts of what is beautiful about humanity. For those in this workshop, and for those paying attention, this appears to be in the works to be showcased over 2012. The simplicity of your connections among you has gone far too long without recognition and awareness, and as the Mature Soul paradigm stabilizes further in the year ahead, this thread of resonance among you is one that may be pronounced. As you go about your days, taking any moment to find the gratitude for these basic Agreements of Necessity can literally transform your life over time to allow for a greater infrastructure of your existence so that the more complex Agreements can be fulfilled. Gaining the capacity to recognize these Agreements of Necessity will help you to gain the awareness and sensitivity for finding, attracting, and nurturing your more complex Agreements. AGREEMENTS OF PERSONALITY The next level of Agreements, then, would be those made by the Personality. These are the Agreements that are not planned, but become important and meaningful for the Personality, based upon the choices being made within the life. They tend to be spontaneous, based upon a limited scope of information. That scope of information would be the capacity to perceive the future, to be present, and to interpret the past. Depending upon the Personality's capacity for processing the future, present, and past, the Agreements of Personality, or Spontaneous Agreements, are made. Or not made. Personality Agreements are those that tend to be based upon concepts of the Personality that are either beneficial or destructive to the Personality, but always significant and meaningful. For instance, one may feel wounded by his past relationships, and rather than doing the work of healing that before taking on a new attempt at a relationship, he may find the next attractive, available person to be acceptable for Matedness. He will then have generated a Mate Agreement with this acceptable and attractive fragment, and bring with him the weight of the work of the previous relationship's wounding. This is perfectly acceptable by Essence, of course, as it brings to the life the creativity and adventure and learning that cannot possibly be gauged as necessary before the life begins. For the most part, Spontaneous Agreements, or Agreements of the Personality, are those that seek to fix something in the Personality. They are often rooted in a necessity for healing, repair, fixing, and also, often, as a means of escape. If the Agreements are generated from a place of need for repair, healing, fixing, etc., then these Agreements can be quite helpful for the Personalities involved, especially if it is eventually recognized that the Agreements were made from that place of need. If the Agreements are generated from a place of need for escape, these tend to eventually "blow up," or fall by the wayside in anti-climatic or dramatic ways. Nearly all Agreements of the Personality are indirectly, or directly, to serve the processing of Karma, both externally or self-Karma. Only Personality can choose to fulfill Agreements that burn Ribbons, or help to bring balance to one's Self-Karma. Essence cannot impose the burning of Ribbons, or the scenarios necessary to help bring resolve to one's Self-Karma. For most older souls, the more one is in conflict with someone, the more likely that is speaking to an Agreement of such a nature. If one is caught up in an on-going conflict with someone, regardless of how one might think circumstances have pushed one into having to deal with that person, there is clearly an Agreement being fulfilled. The irony here is in the fact that some of the most-intense, long-term conflicts are with those fragments who care enough to endure such a process so that one or both of you can evolve beyond your limitations. For help in discerning if you are in an Agreement of Personality, it is often marked by compulsion. You continue to make choices to remain involved, even when you think you do not wish to do so, or even when you know you "should not," or even as you know you do not have to do so. This would include those of a beneficial and pleasant nature, too, of course. One does not have to "put up with" Troy's constant obstacles, but many choose to do so because there is mutual benefit and pleasure gained in the end, and everyone involved is left with a rise beyond previous limitations. These Agreements, such as those with Troy, are constantly in assessment, renewal, and establishment, even among those who have become his friend over the years. And this is another symptom of Agreements of Personality: they are questioned on a fairly regular basis. "Do I really want to be with this person?" "Do I really have to react like this?" "Why do I put up with this?" "Why do I love this person so much, when he/she continues to frustrate me?" "Why does this person's behavior not bother me at all, when I think it should?" "I really don't know why, but I stick around because I know I'm gaining something in the end." . . . and so on. For our next round of workshop interaction, we ask each of you to consider at least one Agreement of Personality that is a part of your life that you know you continue to choose to support, nurture, endure, even as you do not have to do so, whether it is pleasurable or challenging. You may respond in any order. [Janet] Can the agreement be with yourself as well as with another person? [EricM] My agreement with my parents seems to fit that bill [Maureen] with my mother [Martha] Troy (or is that too easy?) [LisaC] my long distance friends [AnnH] Dave [MEntity] Janet, not in this context. Self-Karma will always be "about yourself," but it often requires the help of another fragment to do the prompting and provocation that helps you to work through your Self-Karma. [Diane_HB] My father, probably. [Maureen] your sister Martha? [Martha] oh yeah [EricM] Martha, what about your sister? [Martha] of course [Janet] I'd say Troy fits. And perhaps my continuing involvement with dancing. [Martha] Morgan's dad, Kelly [GeraldineB] I'm pretty pragmatic about most of my relationships — i.e., "what's in it for me?" — so, I tend to withdraw from relationships that are fairly complete frustrations. So, I'd definitely start my list with Troy. [MEntity] We know that Troy is on this list for most of you. [Maureen] my esthetician [Maureen] who is my friend as well.. [GeraldineB] I'd say my neighbor friend, Barbara, is one where I carefully tread fulfilling our mutual needs of necessity, and avoiding too much contact. [AnnH] My friend Joann, whom I love but can be frustrated by. My brother-in-law. [MEntity] Your Agreements of Personality are rooted in a deep desire for wholeness. They are often prompted from the search for that wholeness. And we describe that search for wholeness as one that is inherent upon being a fragment, particularly while in the Physical Plane; it is not intended to describe a dysfunction. It is a function. If you continue to "do your best" in a relationship of conflict, you are fulfilling the function of desire for wholeness. Keep in mind that we are not including abusive relationships in the scope of "relationships of conflict." [Bobby] Susan.... definitely ? [MEntity] However, technically, they do fall into that category. What we meant by our clarification is that "doing your best," even if in a relationship of abuse, may include the distancing from that person. To help in simplifying your assessment of those Agreements of Personality, we will say that, like it, or not, these Agreements tend to be Teachings. The process toward Wholeness is a process of learning, and learning can only truly be done through experience, and these Agreements tend to bring the experiences necessary for the learning. That process toward Wholeness may come from a desire for healing and repair, but that process is still a teaching. To simplify even further, Agreements of Personality are those that tend to be chosen, either passively or actively. These can be broken, ignored, and rejected, but "for some reason," you continue to choose to fulfill them. Acknowledging that these Agreements are CHOSEN is an even further step in the direction toward alignment with Essence, and the Agreements of Essence. Acknowledging that you CHOOSE to continue in the Agreement, as best you can, whatever that may mean for you, is an invitation for manifestation of Essence. And that is because when one takes responsibility for the choices in the life, and extracts from experiences the important and meaningful elements of those Agreements that are a result of choices, one is moving toward a wholeness that allows for Essence to manifest. These are the most obvious examples of the Agreements of Personality, but there are other examples that fall into the same category, such as those Agreements made with us to explore channeling, even as there was no original Agreement with Essence. Those Agreements seek to explore the same process and results: a process of healing, learning, and a return to a sense of wholeness. These are no less important or valid or solid than our Agreements with those before their births, but the dynamic, nature, and process of fulfillment would be quite different. It would be a process of choice, rather than a process of unfolding. For those involved with Agreements with us to Channel, as they have been made by Personality, must continue to make the choice on a regular basis to fulfill the Agreement, and may often question the choice to do so. [Maureen] What about when one acknowledges that one has "had enough" — and sees no more "productivity" in the relationship anymore - it's genuinely "run its course" — even when/though the other person doesn't acknowledge it?? It that a breaking of an agreement? [MEntity] Maureen, sometimes that is part of the Agreement. However, a relationship that is fulfilling an Agreement, or Agreements, is never over before it is over, if you will. If that relationship is still in the life in any meaningful, significant, or impacting way, it is probably still in the realm of Agreements. When an Agreement is abdicated, rejected, or fulfilled, the relationship ends, or transforms. Otherwise, SOMETHING is being fulfilled or served. Sometimes the Agreement can be serving a sense of justification for the choice to say "no." And the continued practice is saying so. So we will simplify the Agreements of Personality as being those marked by your active or passive choice to fulfill. The more one can recognize the process of Choice involved in these, and grasp that which is being learned by those choices, whether through painful or pleasurable ways, the more one opens a path to Essence. AGREEMENTS OF ESSENCE And that leads us to the Agreements of Essence. The Agreements of Essence are made long before you are born, and before "you" have any say in the matter. The older the soul, the more the Essence can anticipate the value that Essence's Agreements might have for that Personality, and this can help the Personality to eventually align with Essence. The older the soul, the more creativity is involved so that the Personality is actually run as a kind of beta program before the birth, with dialog involved in a way that can allow for alteration, if necessary, before the birth. In nearly all cases, all experiences and influences in a lifetime before the age of 7 are those made entirely by Essence. Once that activation is complete, the Agreements, choices, and plans of Essence are no longer running the lifetime. Only those of Personality. So the greater the capacity for consciousness in the Personality, the greater the capacity for aligning with the choices and Agreements of Essence. As older souls have had so many lifetimes, the tendency toward early awareness and consciousness is higher. This skew between the maturity of consciousness, even as the body has yet to mature, is a matter that can be discussed in another exchange. Agreements of Essence are those that still fall within our description of Agreements, but simply HAPPEN. They are managed by Sequences and Vectors, which are a kind of gravitational force that pulls all factors into place for fulfillment of the Agreements. The choices of Personality either move one toward those Sequences and Vectors, or away from them. Or, put another way, the awareness of one's Agreements of Personality, and Agreements of Necessity, can either move one toward Agreements of Essence, or away from them. Those Agreements made by Essence require no effort, except for that effort necessary to allow for the unfolding. For instance, the Sage known now as Troy made Agreements with all of you before birth to eventually be a vehicle for our teaching in some way, yet choices had to be made by each of you along the way that allowed for that to be fulfilled. Necessities had to be fulfilled, and then the Choices to continue in directions that led you to the same virtual space, and now the Essence Agreements unfold. There is only effort necessary on the levels of Personality Agreements. Another example is the difference between those with whom we share Agreements before birth as our channels, versus those with whom we made Agreements as Personalities: For those made before birth, the process simply "happened," even as the Personality may have been distracted by its own growth and interests. As long as there was an allowance of fulfillment of the Agreement, it simply happened. For those made after birth, the process does not simply "happen." The Personality must continue to make the choice to pursue it and to do the work that fulfills the Agreement in a way that is useful for the Personality. For most who fulfill the Agreement of Personality, the Personality is quite a present part of the process, and can tend to dominate over our teaching, even as we legitimately work with that channel. In most cases, these Agreements are for the sake of the individual and this works well. For those who choose to then take it publicly, it becomes a matter of continuing to fulfill the healing of the Personality that sought the Agreement in the first place. And the continuation of that work with us can tend to take many starts, stops, and effort, as it is one that requires the Personality to continue to choose it, and that is not always easy. It does not take away from the legitimacy of our work with the channel, but it is a consideration that would be helpful to understand when validating channeling. For each of you, there are Agreements of Essence that are obvious from when you were children and "had no choice," but as you moved into adulthood, the Agreements of Essence would tend to be those things that simply "happened" without your conscious intent, but that became meaningful, significant in some way. These are often marked by the staggering path of synchronicities that would have had to have been in place for you to find, attract, and nurture that Agreement. When one fulfills an Agreement of Essence, the path to it is not always pretty, because Essence does not mind how an Agreement is found or attracted, if it can be fulfilled. We will ask each of you now to consider at least one Agreement that you know was of Essence, because it simply happened, and may even have had some impressive pattern that had to be in place for it to have happened. [Maureen] meeting my husband [Martha] are these always planned before birth, or does this include those "miraculous" guide sponsored events? [GeraldineB] For me, my multiple Abandonment External Monads that transitioned multiple generations, included a highly synchronous marriage, etc — Even meeting my birth mother quite unintentionally after I was grown. This entire process has always had the clear marks of something well beyond my own choice(s). [Bobby] We (Michael Entity and I) have already discussed this and it was my "awakening" this lifetime ? [MEntity] Guides tend to help fulfill those Agreements of Personality, but those of Essence tend to require nothing more than the allowance by Personality through its choices. [AnnH] The college I ended up attending as well as teaching at. [Martha] yeah, the ones I'm seeing as Essence just seemed to come up through friends and "normal" stuff [MEntity] Guides are entirely for the sake of Personality. Essence is a part of that system of support, but Guides for Essence are on a different scale than Guides for Personality. [Diane_HB] Meeting Tex, and moving to the US from Taiwan was probably an Essence agreement. [Janet] I have had several occasions in my life where I visited a new place and "knew" I would live there eventually. All of those came true, and not all by conscious decision to move to a location ahead of time. [Martha] living in the same dorm as a future best friend - twice [Martha] etc [Martha] meeting boyfriends through friends [Janet] And I suspect meeting my husband also was Essence Agreement. It felt predestined even at the time. [EricM] my mom setting me up with my viola instructor in elementary school [Martha] maybe even Morgan's father being her father - that certainly had a short window [Martha] where it was possible [AnnH] I had that with one man I was involved with. I remember noticing his name even before I met him. [MEntity] All of these are valid examples of Agreements of Essence. This is Good Work. [Liisa] There's someone I used to know that had an impact on me, and whom I still think about a lot. No relationship came out of that however, so I'm wondering if there was an abdication of an agreement there [Janet] My path to the Michael teachings, which I believe began in my teens. [Martha] yes, me too in my 20s [MEntity] All of you who are here had Essence Agreements with us and with Troy that are being fulfilled. [EricM] yeah, stumbling into TLE was pretty serendipitous [Martha] and each other too I bet [MEntity] Keep in mind that even as Essence Agreements are fulfilled, the Agreements of Personality are in constant force and can support or deny the Essence Agreements. [AnnH] yes, me, too, when I was 30 (1987?), abandoning it, [MEntity] And so now we will bring all of this together into a whole awareness of Agreements. There are no tiers of Agreements that are better or more important to fulfill than any others. If you choose to abdicate all Essence and Personality Agreements, and ignore the fulfillment of Agreements of Necessity, your life is still rich with experience, value, and learning. Because YOU exist. That can never be undone. You may never have the density of an incarnation again, but you continue with your mind, feelings, and richness of "life" long after death. Your philosophies, interpretations, lessons, teachings, meaning, and experiences continue to grow beyond this life. However, the freer one becomes within a lifetime through the acknowledgement and gratitude for fulfillment of Agreements of Necessity, and through the choices that are fulfilling the Agreements of Personality, allowing for the unfolding of Agreements of Essence, the more profound the extension of life for the Personality beyond incarnation. This is one of the reasons religions have discouraged suicide as a solution for a lifetime's issues, as it speaks to the fact that Personality does not gain relief by doing so. This "sin" may be cloaked in the terminology of the Baby Soul, but the point is valid: you do not end. To grasp the magnitude of "you" as you exist beyond the current life is to occasionally allow for the unfolding of Essence Agreements, and to be aware of these. This is the closest to "proof" of your existence on a higher level than most any other tangible means of proof: when you watch your life unfold in a way that shows that "something" is at work beyond your capacity to control it. As we said: Essence does not mind how an Agreement comes into position for fulfillment, so this can happen through complete resignation or surrender in the lifetime, or through conscious co-creation of the life. This is because Essence is not Physical. It knows that pain is temporary, and that suffering is growthful. It does not mind that path. It does not prefer it, but it does not mind it. But when a Personality has resigned the life over to Essence, it tends to work with what it can, and that means working through the paths and patterns of fear. And so it is that the Older Soul, who has grown decidedly weary of suffering and pain, begins to choose to co-create the life through active choices. It will take whatever path is available, but has carefully and lovingly worked to create "you" as extension of itself, and greatly prefers a co-creative process, if you would choose to do so. So for you to Find, Attract, and Nurture your Agreements is as simple as: gratitude for the Agreements of Necessity being fulfilled; active recognition of those choices that are fulfilling Agreements of Personality; and allowing the awe for those Agreements of Essence that have been fulfilled. If you are interested in bringing in any specific kind of Agreement, such as a Mate, support for the publication or acceptance of your art, a healing circle of support, guidance for clarity and quality of channeling, or any other matter of interest, it need only be brought to the attention of Essence, however that would be comfortable for you to do, and then go about your gratitude and active choices, which would eventually find, attract, and nurture those Agreements requested for fulfillment. It is not a magical prayer, or a "send it out to the universe" kind of irresponsibility; it is an active process that would find, attract, and nurture your Agreements. The greater your appreciation, the greater your active process of choices, the greater your opening to those requested or planned Agreements of Essence. For those who mean "send it out to the universe" as a means for diffusing the charge around a request, it is a fair description, but for those who use the phrase to describe placing an order from a cosmic vending machine, it would be a useless and immediately undermining phrase. YOU must be a part of any fulfillment of Agreement, be it one of Necessity, Personality, or Essence. YOU are the key. We will suggest for each of you to continue in the days ahead to actively recognize any moments of gratitude for the Agreements of Necessity, and to be kind to your processes of choice involving those Agreements of Personality that are intended to help you heal or grow, and playfully find the awe for those Agreements of Essence you know have come to fulfillment. We will conclude here for today, but our Agreements with you continue if you would allow.
  3. Just saw J. B. Priestley’s play ‘An Inspector Calls’ in a BBC One adaptation from 2015. If you enjoy the subtle unpleasantness of suppressed emotions and quietly cracking façade, I highly recommend it. Naturally it's all about humanity, as usually with Priestley. Excellent actors with Miranda Richardson, David Thewlis and Ken Stott among others.
  4. Michael Speaks Live Chat Sunday, November 13, 2011 Troy Tolley, Channel The 7 Planes of Existence MEntity: Hello to each of you. We are here now. We will share with you on the requested topic: The 7 Planes of Existence. We know that most of you are familiar with the 7 Planes as they have been described in our teaching, and are familiar to many teachings, even if in slight variation and understanding. Those 7 Planes are: Physical, Astral, Causal, Akashic, Mental, Messianic, and Buddhic (or Buddhaic). Each Plane is a Plane of Existence, and is a definite medium for consciousness to explore, learn, and evolve. These Planes exist one within the other, and overlap to some extent, with the Physical Plane being "in the center" and the densest, and the Buddhic being the outermost existence that permeates all Planes within it. It is often easier to imagine this as spheres within spheres. All 7 of these Planes ARE Tao. It is often described as Tao encompassing these 7 Planes, and that would be fair to say, but technically, Tao IS those 7 Planes. The whole that is greater than the sum of the parts, if you will. As you will see from our sharing of details about these Planes and their design, there will be a micro and macrocosmic consistency. Keep in mind that when we use the term "consciousness," it is often inclusive of all forms of consciousness, and not specific to Sentience. In other words, consciousness exists in a multitude of forms in your Physical Plane and in other planes. Rocks have a form of consciousness that is just as valid as Sentience. There are many lines of evolution of consciousness, and not all of them are Sentient. The greatest difference between Sentient and non-sentient consciousness is in terms of the extent of fragmentation and "direction" that the consciousness is actively moving. Sentience tends to be the most individualized of consciousness (most fragmented), generating within that consciousness a profound desire for return to Tao, or Oneness. Therefore, Sentient Consciousness is "on its way back" to Tao, and most other forms of non-sentient consciousness do not require such passages; non-sentience can be "absorbed" immediately back into Tao, if you will, and does not necessarily evolve. Sentience evolves. In other words, Sentience is the furthest and farthest one can get from Tao in terms of fragmentation. The return "home," then, for Sentience, is a long journey by most standards of measurement. Passage through these Planes of Existence are passages of reunion and union. It could be said, then, that the 7 Planes are the 7 Levels of Tao, as Tao evolves in its own way precisely through the collection of experiences gained through these fragments. Once one has become a Fragment, regardless of the return to Tao and the profound oneness that this entails, that unit of consciousness is its own thing "forever." Drops of water in an ocean who leave no boundaries between themselves and ocean, or each other, but existing as an identifiable unit of consciousness now. This is how "Grand Cycles" can happen. A Grand Cycle is a single journey of separation from Tao, incarnation through a species, and the subsequent return through the 7 Planes. Though we would have a difficult time describing this in terms of physics, each Plane is merely a variation of vibration of energy that is consistent among all Planes. Because of its vibrational state, it is "separate" enough that it exists as its own state. This would be similar to how ice, water, and steam could exist as the same, but different. For simplicity's sake, we can say that all Planes are made of Matter (Energy), and each Plane is a variation on Matter. The combination of what might be akin to molecules and how they function with one another generates each Plane. And differentiates each Plane. The consistency among all Planes is based on a set of physics that is reflected in the Physical Plane in many ways. Though there are a few places from which we could start, we will use your Carbon-base as the model. We will return to this reference to Carbon in a moment. First, we will state that every Planet has its own Physical, Astral, and Causal Plane. Particularly if there is Sentience evolving on that planet. Those Planes are variations on a theme, and each is mapped similarly. For the most part, these Ordinal Planes are themed in Densities, Tangibilities, and Identities. That is an oversimplification, but it is accurate. The Physical Plane is these themes in terms of Actions. The Astral is these themes in terms of Emotions. The Causal is these themes in terms of Intellect. The Akashic Plane is not a Plane in which any consciousness resides, but is a memory bank. Rather than passing through this Plane, it is central to both the Causal and Mental Planes' use for evolution. It could be said to be the ordinal version of Tao. The Mental Plane expands to encompass what we will describe as a Galaxy. A Galaxy would be a collection of 49 Planets of Sentience in proximity. The Messianic Plane expands to encompass what we will describe as a Galaxy Group, or 49 Galaxies that house Sentience. The Buddhic Plane is relative to a Galaxy Cluster, or 49 Galaxy Groups. Tao, then, could be said to be the Cosmos, or the manifest Universe. From what we have learned, there are boundaries on our Universe, as there are other Universes. We use "Universe" here in the sense of organized Planes for Sentient development, and not whimsically referencing different parallels or emotional perceptions. This is literal. We know that each Universe must be a closed "space," if you will, as the patterns that are generated indicate interference patterns, indicating reflection. The patterns are far too consistent not to indicate this, as far as we can see. Returning to Carbon as the building block, not only are forms within the Physical Plane relevant to the building blocks of Carbon, but so are all forms of consciousness born of, or returning to Tao through, Carbon. Much of our own Teaching reflects this, as we use the dodecaphonic scale, which is a musical counterpart of Carbon, for most aspects of our teaching. Our systems of 12, 7, and 9 (which are still systems of 12) are related to this dodecaphonic/carbon scale/ratio, and while there is not an obvious element of 5 in our teaching, it is built in on many levels, which we can expound upon at another time. For now, we will reference the 5 Soul Ages before cycling off, and what we refer to as Clusters (of lives) that are in groups of 5. These numbers will be relevant for building upon. We can return to them in further explorations with us. For now, we will return to the details of the Planes. The 7 Levels of the Physical Plane are the 7 Soul Ages: 5 of which are done before cycling off, and two of which are completed by returning as a reunited entity, and as a representative of Tao. All fragments will move through those 7 Levels of the Physical Plane (7 Soul Ages). There are 7 Levels of the Astral Plane, as well. As every Plane bleeds through, so to speak, to each bordering Plane, the 1st Level of the Astral could be said to be the Level of Imagination. This is from where each fragment accesses Imagination. At its best use, it is what you are familiar with in terms of "imagination," but it is also where those who induce altered states through drugs can tend to go, as well as where troubled Personalities can often bleed into, and where suicides are processed, and from where hauntings are sustained. It is the Level from which "heaven" and "hell" are generated, and other such nonsense. The 2nd Level of the Astral is where most go between lives, and when dreaming. The 3rd Level is where one resides when cycled off. It is also the level in which one will complete any Karma that did not require Physical incarnation. The Mid-Astral or 4th Level is what is accessed between lives by fragments as a means for planning and studying and review. Even if one is on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Levels, this 4th is accessed in ever more refined ways for the evolution of the Essence, and creation of a life. It is also from which one's guides tend to reside, and where your partially-reunited entity resides. Even if your guide is not cycled off, if acting as a guide, it is functioning through the use of this Level. Or, at least, trying to. The 5th Level is one of Comprehension, and it is where your Entity members work through full disclosure. Everything that was never known, kept secret, private, personal, for any Personality is now brought forth as the entity prepares for reunion. This is a chaotic and quite emotional process. The 6th Level is the Healing, or the actual Reunion process. Though the more chaotic aspects of reunion have been processed, this can actually be even more painful. The 7th Level then is the full union of the Entity, in terms of its Emotional intimacy. The 5th, 6th, and 7th Levels are the only levels that are free from living counterparts, or incarnating fragments. The first three can be accessed fairly easily by Personalities from the Physical Plane. The Causal Plane also has 7 Levels, but these become more difficult to clarify in terms that are easy to convey, as the linear aspect begins to break down, even as it does not. The Lower, or Ordinal, Causal Plane could be said to be a process of refining our ideas and ideals. Now that we have united emotionally, we then build a new identity from that. Though "identity" is a crude term in the context of the Causal Plane, it is still valid. This is because, even as we speak as one, we are well aware of our parts, and our differentiation from other entities on our Plane. We still experience a passage of time and space, though in vastly different ways from what is familiar to the Physical Plane, but still a passage, nonetheless. Over the course of the first three Levels, entities take different lines of evolution that are in groups: some of which are Guides, some of which are Teachers, some of which are Healers, some of which are Muses, and so on. We chose to Teach. The 4th Level, then, is from where every Entity of the Causal will put into effect its ideas and ideals, through Guiding, Teaching, Healing, Musing, etc. From this Level, we begin our direct access of the Akashic Plane. The Akashic exists within every Plane in some form. Even within the Physical Plane, the Instinctive Center is a line to the Akashic Plane, or a part of it. The high Causal Plane, then, is from where Transcendental Souls incarnate, or the 6th Soul Age. Transcendental Souls incarnate from the 5th, 6th, or 7th Levels of the Causal. Keep in mind that a Transcendental Soul is a single fragment incarnated as a representative of the collective knowledge of the Entity from the Causal. This incarnation is still subject to all of the scathing, distractions, and problems of being Human, however, but will have the entire Entity as direct support, if the Personality allows for it. There are many Transcendental Souls who incarnate who fail in that respect, though they certainly "have a good time." The Mental Plane is the exalted Causal Plane, where direct Intellectual contact is made with Tao. The Messianic Plane is the exalted Astral Plane, where direct Emotional contact is made with Tao. The Buddhic Plane is the exalted Physical Plane, where direct contact is made with Tao, or merging. Infinite Souls incarnate from one of these Planes, when incarnated, and bring the Logos of Truth, Love, or Energy, respectively. There are 7 Levels within each of these, but they are even more difficult to convey in any linear terms than the Causal Plane's Levels. It is easier to understand them in terms of Lower, Mid, and Higher. The Lower tend to be about introductions to that Plane, and a refining of focus, with the mid-plane being the implementation of that focus, and the higher being the comprehension of the results of all of that. We will pause now for your questions on this subject. We know this is a vast subject that can be difficult to package, but it is a subject that is relevant and can be comprehended. Question: How “fine” does this get -- Do the 7 Levels of each Soul Age relate in any way to the 7 Levels of Existence? MEntity: They are, all, related in some resonant way, or they could not build upon each other. It is all music. The 7 Internal Monads within the 7 Levels within the 7 Soul Ages within the 7 Planes. The 7 Levels of a Soul Age, can be understood when superimposing the 7 Planes as ways to understand those Levels. Comparing the Physical Plane to the 1st Level of a Soul Age can be helpful. Comparing the Astral Plane to the 2nd Level can be helpful. Comparing the Causal to the 3rd Level can be helpful. And so on. Keep in mind that there will be resonance, but not definition. In other words, clues and insights can be gained through these comparisons, but Soul Level is very different from Age, and Plane. Our system is designed for "mixing and matching" as a means to gain more insight. Question: Not to put too fine a point on the terminology that was developed today, but I would like a reiteration or confirmation that the use of the terms by you of Galaxy, Galaxy Cluster, or Tao as a Universe has little in common with our scientific astrophysics use of these terms and that further the use of Tao isn't equivalent to “All that is.” MEntity: There are some correlations. We think that some Astrophysicists are onto something in terms of organizing the universe. Consciousness equals Gravitation, to some extent. Consciousness is the gravitational force that holds together matter. Galaxies are grouped and clustered in terms of gravity and consciousness, and this is parallel to some working theories or observations. Comment: Except you define these by groups of 49 MEntity: So while we are not drawing direct parallels to the more mundane use of these terms, there are some similarities that are relevant. We think that some Astrophysicists choose the same number. Though we do not think it has become a standard. Question: So would our "Big Bang Theory" be an oversimplification of the Buddhaic Plane in action and is the theory even close to being accurate? MEntity: It is quite close, at least in terms of the fragmentation that then moved into forms. Though there are scientific details that will always be lacking in terms of describing or defining these origins, it works very well in symbolic ways. Question: How are suicides processed on the 1st level astral, and where do they go from there? [note corrected from 2nd Level to 1st Level] MEntity: They are processed in a multitude of ways that would be similar to experiencing dreams that play out all varieties of scenarios that help to comprehend the process of choices that led to the death, as well as an observation of all of the parallels remaining that are not dead. The Astral Plane is very similar to "Earth," or the Physical Plane, and feels very "real" on many levels, though it is far more malleable in terms of matter. Many who experience suicide then will start the entire life over on the Astral, playing out new choices. We designated Suicides to the 1st Level, but all fragments incarnating will move among the first three Levels during and between lives. Lives that do not end in Suicide tend to move directly into the 2nd, while Suicides tend to move into the 1st. Question: can they get stuck there, as well? MEntity: This is because of the attachment to the life. No fragment is ever "stuck," but depending upon the processes necessary for that Personality to heal, it can take quite some time. The reason for those who have exited using Suicide tending to remain in the 1st Level is because that is the easiest for those who were a part of that life, and who remain incarnated, to access that person. This helps contribute to the healing. Once the healing begins, the replaying of the life begins. This is a subject in itself, but that is the basic idea. Question: At 5th level Astral, is the anguish experienced more by the individual fragments as they are laid "naked and exposed" to the other members of the Entity, or by the other members of the Entity as they learn all there is to know of everyone else? Are there still harsh judgments to overcome at that stage of evolution? Also, it has been said that Priests "come into their own" on the Astral. Does this usually occur at this stage, helping themselves and others through the difficult 5th level and then healing in the 6th level? MEntity: The difficulty is experienced in both ways. It can be quite terrifying and painful to have everything revealed, and just as terrifying and painful to learn what one did not know while alive. This is especially difficult for those Personalities who were incarnations during the Baby and Young. The Mature and Old Souls eventually lose the interest in dishonesty, secrets, and privacy. The Personalities of Essence who were the most honest, vulnerable, and comfortable with exposure tend to work with those younger Personalities in resolving the shocking revelations. Every Personality of every lifetime is represented as its own identity and speaks for itself, so to speak. Comment: I wonder if this is then repeated at each merge after that MEntity: What you might experience as great halls are used for these processes, with all of the Personalities organized into tiers of emotional honesty for then working with mediating among all of those who had the most difficult times with those qualities. Comment: this sounds as much an intra-Essence process as inter-Essence. MEntity: It is often quite upsetting to find out that "best friend sally" had been exploiting you for access to your "loving husband bill" and that you knew none for the better. But all of you will know "everything" at some point. None of this is Karmic, but entirely focused on healing. In terms of Priests, they are the fragments who run these meetings, and help to direct the healing, as they tend to have the greatest extremes of Personalities that range between manipulatively dishonest and painfully honest. Priests quite often have a theme of "knowing what is good for you," or "the highest good," and doing whatever it takes to impose that. Every Role has a part in the processes of the Higher Astral, but it is organized and directed by the Priests. Question: How and in what form is the information on the Akashic Plane stored and accessed, and is there a way for us to visualize it? MEntity: We do not know how to describe this, but we can try to describe it in relative terms: We would have to say that it is database that is like an ocean of light that has no form until directly accessed. The closest we can come to describing this to you is in how your own imagination works. Your imagination gives rise to form from an ocean of light, if you will. However, Imagination is not information, and it is emotional. The Akashic Plane behaves in a similar way to imagination, except that it is in response to Thought. That is why it is such a tedious process for learning to access and interpret the data, because if any element of emotion is involved, the data is "tainted" or distorted with imagination, and is not pure information. In much the same way that the Physical Plane must be transcended while diving into the utter profundity of emotions in the Astral, so must the Emotional Plane be transcended while diving into the utter profundity of intellect in the Causal. It is not that one is better or worse than the other, but simply different processes of focus and experience. The way it works for us is that each of you have a "room" here that is your personal part of the Akashic. When we work with you in a way that requires our accessing this, we open that room and it reveals to us the details necessary for us to respond to your questions. Those details are revealed to us in two ways: your way, and our way. We get to see the data in your terms, first, which is often rich with emotional elements. We must then strip the emotional embellishments away from that data to get the most refined and accurate responses delivered to you. The more emotional your questions, the more difficult that process is. This is why your questions about relationships and mate agreements and other desired, longed for, craved, grieved, etc. can be difficult for us to deliver clearly to you. Add to that the fact that as soon as data includes another fragment and his or her data, we have to double the work of that process. Of course, that description is not as complicated as our description sounds, but it is a fair description. On the most basic levels, we can say this: The Akashic Plane of a fragment (instinctive center) or of an entire Universe are simply interfaces for recording, accessing, and interpreting all of the variations on the interference patterns that exist. The actual medium is the medium, itself. Question: Is it possible for higher plane teachers to physically, suddenly manifest without being born on the physical plane? Or is that a myth? MEntity: We have never heard of such a thing. That is not to say that they cannot "appear," but this would be generated from through the lower astral, or the Imagination, and can be just as effective. Question: So if consciousness is the gravitational force that holds matter together, what is it that pushes them apart? Astrophysicists have deemed this "dark energy" and "dark matter" in that it is so dark and non-interacting that we don't know anything about it. What is your interpretation of this? MEntity: We must first say that the concept of "dark matter" will eventually be replaced with better terminology and understanding, as it is found to be far more active than suspected. For the sake of working with current terminology and understanding, we will say that it could be said to be the unconscious. Not the subconscious, but the unconscious. And by "unconscious," we simply mean the unformed, and the medium from which form is formed. Question: like unrealized potential energy? MEntity: And realized. It is a resource. Question: In what ways and what type of karma can be resolved on the third level astral that do not require a physical plane experience? MEntity: Any Karma that did not require a body. A Physical Body, that is. Question: and what would that be? MEntity: Mind Fucking, Betrayal, Emotional Abandonment or Neglect, etc. Philanthropic Inspiration, Emotional Healing, etc. Question: how would these be resolved? MEntity: Often in quite similar methods as would be used through a Physical Plane body, but simply not actually being Physical. The familiarity of the Physical Plane is replicated as a fairly consistent and large mapping of the Astral for just such things. What we spoke about in the Levels was specific to that 3rd Level, in that once discarnate, further Karma can continue to be burned, but that is not the only Level that can address non-Physical Karma. Some of this happens even as you are incarnated. We know of many of you who have awakened from a rather profound dream of affection and love from some unknown relationship, or have played out scenarios that have no bearing on your current life, but felt like lifetimes lived, or have shared profoundly erotic and intimate moments with a "famous" person that were clearly more than fantasy. These can often be a burning of a ribbon. Question: So even after cycling off, there is opportunity to burn off any remaining karma that does not require physical form? MEntity: Often those Karma addressed on the 3rd Level after cycling off are much like "bonus" rounds that both parties had dropped as requiring balance, but are then addressed for the sheer sake of experience.

On the suicide of Dick Hein

[Excerpt from TT: 1999-11-18] [Luna2ne] Does Dick Hein have a message for us at this time? (our recently departed scholar friend?) [Michael_Entity] We do not convey messages from the dead. This fragment will contact those with whom the Personality feels a message might be meaningful. [kath821] Concerning this fellow Michael student, Dick Hein, what, if anything, can you share with us to explain the motivations and benefits or disadvantages of what happened with him? Is this self-karmic? [Michael_Entity] Yes, this was a personally meaningful self-karma. This fragment faced few fears in this life, even with all of his capacity for intellectualizing it. It was considered a great leap to “commit” to the study in a way that the Personality perceived as “the truth”. In this commitment, all that had been feared and passed over could be said to have been symbolized in this one personal crossing. What the fragment sought, he will find. His answers may be surprising, but the satisfaction and knowledge gained from this event was ‘worth it’. The self-karma here was about overcoming fear. [kath821] I’m sorry, was this self karmic in completion (his death) or self karmic in creation? [Michael_Entity] Self-Karma only exists within the life. This means certain issues are either carried over from another life or created DURING the life that seek resolution; either way, it is within the life that it is addressed. When Self-Karma is “carried over” from another life, it is rarely resolved as an extension of the original imbalance. It must then be recreated again and balanced from there. This makes the actual death scenario a particularly immune event from Self-Karma, even if the death is used to balance a self-karma. It is not possible yet within your species to be resurrected with any meaning enough to resolve an internal conflict over the method of death. Conflicts that may be created because of a death is simply the Negative Pole or incompletion of the 6th or 7th Internal Monad and will be addressed in that context in the next life. Did this help your question? [kath821] Can you say if it was essence driven or personality drive, this exit? Yes it does thank you. [Michael_Entity] This was allowed by Essence, but certainly a conscious choice of the Personality.

    Karma and Self-Karma

November 30, 2004 I’ve wanted to have Michael respond to this (and several other questions) for some time now, so here we go: ALAN ASKED: If a person abandons his/her partner and the partner commits suicide does that person who leaves incur any karma? Does the person committing suicide incur self karma? MICHAEL: Abandonment can lead to Karma if the abandoned party was left with an obvious interference to his or her ability to choose. Many who choose to “abandon” another fragment are simply choosing a different path, which is healthy and natural in the process of a lifetime; however, those “left behind” by the fragment will usually generate Self-Karma as a result, unless (as stated) an interference to his or her ability to choose is a direct result of that “abandonment.” Karmic Abandonment can be seen in instances where a helpless child or invalid is left to die or starve as a result of the Abandonment (or Neglect). An adult who is simply attached to another fragment who is choosing another path cannot hold the “abandoning” fragment as responsible for the feelings that are generated from that experience. Suicide is a choice. If a person has the means, the power, and the tools to commit suicide, he or she also has the means, power, and tools to choose otherwise. Therefore, suicide is rarely a direct result of Abandonment, but more a direct result of False Personality and the self-convincing of worthlessness. Suicide is chosen for one of two reasons: the individual has determined that she will absolutely NEVER have the one (or more) things that would finally, absolutely prove she is worthy; or the individual has profoundly determined that she has gained everything that can possibly be gained from the current lifetime and that she is “done.” Suicide extends from Self-destruction, but at its more peaceful end of the spectrum can also arise from the qualities of Greed, and is usually restricted to those who have heavy Intellectual Centering with very little ability to funnel the processes of thought appropriately. Self-Karma is never directly related to a past life. All Self-Karma is generated WITHIN the current lifetime. This does not mean there are no resonances, patterns, and themes across lifetimes as related to Self-Karma, but all Self-Karma is created by the Personality throughout the dynamics of remembering how to choose again within the current lifetime. This is why we call it Self-Karma, as it has to do with that particular “self”, or Personality. Self-Karma is the list of “issues” you have acquired that divide the self into two polarities and you may or may not seek to resolve that polarity within the lifetime. Self-Karma is always a matter of being able to see two sides to an issue, being aware that you are choosing only one side, but eventually seeking to comprehend the spectrum of that issue, and learning to choose appropriately within that experience. Self-Karma is always about YOU in relation to You, Others, Situations, or Events. An example from each might be: Self-Karma in relation to YOU I eat too much/I enjoy eating Self-Karma in relation to OTHERS I am unlovable/I am lovable Self-Karma in relation to SITUATIONS I can’t do it/I can learn Self-Karma in relation to EVENTS The world is getting worse/I see potential and can effect changes Each of these examples would have a “middle ground” to be found that acknowledges both ends of the polarized experience, yet resolves the issue; therefore relieving the Personality of that Self-Karma. We can speak more thoroughly about Self-Karma in future exchanges or in a class, but we believe this will give you enough for consideration in relation to the question.
