    Old Sages

    [Excerpt from a private session for Diane on August 16, 2010] Diane: So...is my true Role Sage or Artisan? MEntity: We still see your records as showing that which would be a Sage as your Essence Role, though we realize you may not find resonance to the typical stereotype of the Sage. Diane: Yes, I don't like the limelight. Does my scholar casting influence this? MEntity: That lack of resonance to the stereotype is because the descriptions that most of our students read are the "average Sage," or the Young Sage. You are not Young, and the qualities related to how Young Sages usually manifest are not appealing to you. Yes, your Casting plays a major part in how your Role shows up, especially on a day-to-day basis. ... Diane: Any additional suggestions for self expression for this Old Sage? MEntity: You may not enjoy being in "the limelight," but one consistency of Sages is that it is rare to get through a lifetime without having been a model of example for at least one other person in some way. It could be said that the one consistency of a Sage is they are their own Teaching, in any lifetime, and the integrity of the Teaching is very important to uphold. It is not so much a literal teaching, but a sense of ambition and a knowing that even when not in the spotlight, they are being watched. That sense of being constantly watched, ironically, is one of the reasons the older Sages retreat into more intimate, personal forms of expression, but the integrity and importance of honesty in "who I am" remains strong. ### Note: You may comment on this material within the original post.     The 7th Level Teaches

    [Excerpted from a private session posted by Diane on May 23, 2016.] Diane: It is interesting to me that I have had a lot of level 7 souls around me in primary relationships. My late husband, mature 7, oldest son young 7, youngest son mature 7 and my sister Maureen old 7. What is the significance? MEntity: They are your teachers. 7th Level fragments tend to be in some position of influence, even if only passively. Each has a kind of teaching to offer, and you can learn from each in some way that is beneficial, either in terms of what to do, or not to do. The theme of study from the influences of these teachers appears to be a kind of "BE WHERE YOU ARE" thread. Each appears to exemplify a sense of allowing themselves to be where they are at the moment, in terms of self-development and growth. It is not that they do not strive for more, but that there is no apology for where they are in that progress.     Core Values of Sage

When we had the session on manifesting essence you stated something along the lines of the role having core values as a foundation to build upon. You gave me some examples for the Sage but I was wondering if I can have the core values of the other roles as well. MEntity: Yes ... SAGE - Communication, Expression, Fun, Levity, Innocence, Teaching, Learning, and being a living example of One's Personal Philosophy. ... Keep in mind that these Core Values will be upheld in some way, even if they are upheld in desperate and unhealthy ways.   4. OMW - Aug 6, 2011 - Validating Your Profile Channel: Troy Tolley [MEntity] Hello to everyone. We are here. We will begin with discussion about the concept of Validation. We have shared on this subject many times, but will do so again, as it is a subject worth revisiting on a regular basis, or as necessary for rekindling the active process of validating. We have described the processes of Validation to include INTERNAL Validation, EXTERNAL Validation, and TRUE Validation. INTERNAL Validation is the process of determining what is valid and true for the self, and this does not have to be valid and true for anyone else. EXTERNAL Validation is the process of determining what is valid and true for others, and this is not always valid or true for the self. TRUE Validation is the process of matching Internal and External Validation into a kind of wholeness. The Validation process is never about absolutes, and is always about personal truths. Truth that is from the Global or Universal Levels of Truth require no validation for them to be Truths, but Internal and External Validation can help one to work with those truths, reject them, work around them, etc. For instance, Gravity is true for your planet and everyone on it, regardless of whether you have validated this for yourself, or not. However, if you fall down, you now have an experience that may validated the truth of Gravity for you, Internally validating it. If you see someone else fall down, you may then have witnessed the validity of Gravity for others, Externally validating it. This is True Validation. But in terms of Validation, it only means that it is now "true for you." However true and valid Gravity may be, there may be some who refuse to validate it for themselves, or they ignore the implications of what falling down may mean. This kind of logic and equation, if you will, remains the same for Universal, Global, and Personal Truths. NONE of them are true and valid for YOU until you Validate them. Validating from only one side, Internally or Externally, does not mean a truth is half-valid, or not valid, but that it is only true IN THOSE CONTEXTS. For instance, Love is a Universal Truth. You may have validated that it exists Externally, because you see it play out around you, and hear about it, and know others claim to have experienced it, but you have never truly grasped the validity of it for yourself. This means that Love is true and valid Externally, but not Internally. For YOU. Conversely, you may have grasped the magnitude of what Love truly is, moving unconditionally and with agape through your social and intimate relationships, accepting yourself and others, but having a hard time seeing this same state played out among your fellow humans in the world; seeing a great lack of love around you in others' lives. You know that Love is True. For YOU. But you have not Externally validated it in a way that it shows up in the world around you. Keeping this difference between Internal Validation and External Validation in mind can free you from a great deal of confusion and frustration when one is lacking. We often see our students using Validation as a form of defense against participation in the world, or as a means to delude themselves, or resist ideas and insights, because they have decided what is true Internally, but forget that it can also be validated Externally. Some of our students decide what their Overleaves and Role are, and regardless of feedback or evidence to the contrary, or evolving understanding through study, will continue to uphold that those Overleaves are valid. And they are. To them. And some think this is as far as Validation needs to go. Others may receive an inaccurate set of Overleaves from a channel and then work hard to make those Overleaves fit, because this set has been presented as valid, Externally, via the channel. Some think this is as far as Validation needs to go. In other words, Validation is reduced to "If I say it is true, that is all that matters." or "If [a channel] says it is true, then it must be." To some extent, both of those statements are true and valid, but only if you decide they are. Determining what is true for you, or accepting as truth what is true for others, are fair ways to work through experiments and explorations of the Physical Plane, but neither of these bring wholeness, and neither of these allows you or Essence to be fully present in your world. True Validation is not "easy," and it is often a dangerous obstacle to evolution, but it is also one of the only ways to truly evolve. When we say that it is "not easy," we mean that it is not often the case that you can find Internal and External agreement for validation. When we say that it can be a "dangerous obstacle to evolution," we mean that sometimes when both Internal and External validation matches up, those involved can resign from validating or questioning beyond that. An example of the first might be a homosexual teen who knows "who he is," and yet his family insists he is wrong about, or for, his sexuality. An example of the latter might be something like that which comes from cult thinking, such as "Jim Jones," "Manson," or "Heaven's Gate." This is why we build into our teaching an insecurity or instability that will always remain as a means to keep our students questioning, grappling, trying to make sense, taking separate stances, etc., because it is a teaching that supports your evolution, and is not meant to provide comfort and sanctuary. As soon as all of our students would agree, this teaching would no longer be a teaching. We share all of this with you because the process of Validation is not as simple as deciding what the truth is, and it is not as simple as someone else deciding what the truth is, and it is not as simple as everyone agreeing. It could be said, then, that Validation is "an active, conscious, constant navigation of Internal and External truths that can never be presumed conclusive." Before we get into the Overleaves, we will share one more consideration regarding Validation. Validation is a Monadal Process: a process of returning to a state of wholeness that is compromised of seemingly contrary or divided forces or states. This Wholeness is ultimately greater than the sum of the parts. Validation, then, is a constant dance between Internal and External truths. When one insists on one or the other, division is the result, regardless of how true something may be Internally or Externally. But there is a solution, even if only temporary, along the way to True Validation. And along the way through True Validation. And that is through the truth of: I DO NOT KNOW. Or: THEY MAY NOT KNOW. Taking the example of the homosexual teen who has struggled with accepting his sexuality, and has done so with great love, but is rejected by family for having done so, with their insisting he is wrong or bad, how can Wholeness for the teen come from this? He would embrace these conflicting truths, allow them to exist, under the umbrella of "THEY MAY NOT KNOW" and "I DO NOT KNOW. In this case, "They May Not Know" would refer to the fact that the family may simply not understand that that this difference in sexuality is of no threat, no consequence, no sin, and nothing more than a small part of him. This grasping of their lack of knowing can help to cultivate patience, and to help deflect the personal feelings of rejection and hurt that come from their lack of knowing. "I DO NOT KNOW" might refer to the fact that he does not have the skills right now to manage the rejection, the necessity to educate them, the impact of their words, etc. NOT KNOWING is always a viable bridge between conflicting truths. It "buys you time," allows for patience, compassion, effort, awareness, insight, perception, etc to come into the process. To be even more inviting of those helpful qualities, it might be helpful to add: "It is okay for now... that I do not know." or "It is okay for now, that they do not know." All of what we have shared above can help in the process of validating your Profile, Overleaves, Essence, and all channeling that might come through our channels, as well as your explorations of self, relationships, choices, and life. It can also help you in moments of conflicting truths where the battle to impose an External Truth over yourself, or to impose an Internal Truth over others, is simply useless and pointless. True Validation never comes through imposition, but through education and invitation. If you find that you are uncomfortable with a truth, or trying to force a truth, it does not necessarily mean that this truth is not valid, but that you "do not know." And that is as profound to embrace as knowing. Now we will move this into application for validating your Overleaves. Before we take on specific questions, we will say that the above can be applied in this way: Your Overleaves can be Internally Validated by you through your understanding of the terminology and how those accurately describe and lend insight into how you understand yourself. Your Overleaves can be Externally Validated by others through your seeing the behavior and feedback of others in relation to you, as you gain this self-understanding. External Validation of your Overleaves does not necessarily mean that someone else decides, "yes, that term fits." To rely only on confirmation of terminology would never give you True Validation. But if you find that your Internal Validation of the terms as they help you understand yourself is also affecting how others respond and react to you, as well as how you respond and react to them, then you may have found True Validation. In any case of terminology where you may not KNOW, the next steps are education and invitation. Which is why we are here with you today. We will leave it to Geraldine to choose the order of the questioning, but we will now open the floor to your questions about specific elements of your Profile. We will offer what we can for help in your, at least, Internally Validating the term, and then your External Validation may come in time. FLOOR IS OPEN [Martha] my question is about true vs public/private - is that on the table? [MEntity] Yes, Martha. Formulate your question about this and we will respond. [Martha] some of the overleaves for me are so different between true - public - private that it seems it speaks to me not having my subs integrated or something along those lines especially the centering was completely different for each one so some help with understanding that is what I'm looking for [MEntity] The Public and Private sets of Overleaves are shortcuts to understanding how, in general, one wishes to be seen, and how one is seen. They do not speak to sub-personalities, but do speak to the facets/personas that one may have developed. In your case, your sets describe the distance between how you see yourself vs how others see you, or how you wish to present yourself vs how you tend to be received. [Martha] So I act like a server and look like a warrior? LOL [MEntity] Though personas/facets may be related to sub-personalities, they are not necessarily connected. [Martha] or act like a warrior and look like a server? [Martha] but all sage cast :) [Martha] it's confusing [MEntity] In your case, the profiles speak more to the fact that you find yourself falling into positions of subservience and nurturing on a rather regular basis, but because of the resentments that may come from that, you can show up as harsh, frustrated, coercive, pushy. To respond to the Sage Casting for both, it would simply mean that you will still be expressive in either case, and often in loud ways. [Diane_H] I would like more clarity on Server casting. How I use it, etc. You previously mentioned I mainly serve myself, which I agree with. But most of my days I act more Scholarly. [MEntity] Though the Role is how one "shines" in the world, it requires the presence, or Manifestation, of Essence for that to happen on any regular basis, and this is something a Personality may or may not strive to do in a lifetime. However, Casting will always show up, as it is how the Personality defaults to functioning on a day-to-day basis. To help with Validation of any Role or Casting Position, it can help to look at other qualities that describe that Axis. In the case of the Server, you would want to look at the fact that this is an Ordinal Casting, first. It is Ordinal/Inspirational, next. This means that on a day-to-day basis, you may find that you naturally gravitate toward one-on-one scenarios, rather than group scenarios, and because you are Inspirationally-Cast, it would mean these one-on-one scenarios may require some sort of Meaning for them to be at all. [Diane_H] That's true, I hadn't thought about the Inspirational aspect. [MEntity] If something of Meaning can be brought to the exchange, then it may be more comfortable or pursued, but meaningless or random social or intimate contact is usually not of interest to the day-to-day functioning. The Priest seeks to bring Meaning to the masses, or a path to the creation of Meaning, whereas the Server seeks to bringing Meaning to the individual, or at least a path to the creation of that Meaning. [Diane_H] That really fits. [MEntity] If Server Casting is valid for you, it may show up as your being an important contact person for an important handful of fragments over time as you connect them to Meaning. Looking further, it might show up as a Re-evaluation in your pursuit of your Goal, Reserved in your Relationships, Stoic in your Perceptions, and even Self-deprecating, in general, in your day-to-day functioning. Re-evaluation of your Goal would show up as your constantly ebbing and flowing, halting and launching, always questioning the progress of your pursuit of your actual Goal in terms of the Overleaf, but also in terms of general goals, such as career. [Diane_H] Wow, that's a bull's-eye [MEntity] Reservation in your Relationships would mean always monitoring yourself, sometimes with Restraint, and sometimes with Inhibition, as you build yourself up in contexts of intimacy and resonance. The Stoicism in Perceptions might show up as your always keeping cool, or appearing cool, unfazed, no matter what you see, or how something is perceived, sometimes through Tranquility, and sometimes through Resignation. Though you will have your spectrum of Overleaves that describe you in much more detail, your Casting Position is like a packaged form of that entire Axis, and it will permeate the other Overleaves in some way. [Diane_H] But I also have all neutral overleaves, how would I begin to tell the difference between sliding and effects of casting? [Diane_H] Or perhaps I slide to the Server overleaves more easily? [MEntity] Neutral Overleaves ALWAYS appear like other Overleaves, hence their being Neutral. Neutral Overleaves will always "slide" as a means for functioning, and they may often go to the Axis of the Role or Casting. In your case, for you to truly Flow, you will slide to Growth or Dominance. Both of these are on the Axes related to your Casting and Role. The GOAL will remain the same, which is to Flow, but your means of Flow is to sometimes turn your challenges into opportunities for Growth/Evolution, and sometimes into opportunities to return yourself to a position of Dominance/Leadership. Validating Neutral Overleaves will always go back to looking at the Positive and Negative Poles as descriptions of where you land. For example, you tend to "take charge" and move into Dominance because you have fallen into Inertia, or feeling like life is not going anywhere, or is moving in a direction you would rather alter, and though you will use Dominance to alter that Inertia, it is still for the sake of Freedom, or returning yourself to a state of peace, not a state of control. [Diane_H] Very true [ClaireC] My "True Work/Life Task" seems rather abstract, no doubt because it probably relates to the "Big Picture". I'm able to validate that I do find commonalities amongst apparently disparate people and groups of people, however, could you give me other examples of how the pursuit of my "Task" has manifested in my life? [MEntity] Yes, Life Tasks are deliberately broad in scope, because we do not wish to define for you how you fulfill your Tasks, but our descriptions should still be able to be found in evidence, if valid, and if the Task is actually pursued. In some cases the evidence is obvious and grand, and in some cases, it is "right under your nose," and completely missed. In your case, the pursuit of this Life Task is still being explored, and there are only hints of its fulfillment at the moment. Most paths of fulfillment of a Life Task are rather subtle in the beginning, and are often not even clear until retrospect is possible. Your pursuit seems to show up most often in two ways: through being "in the middle" between those who are divided in some way, and by pulling together concepts from various systems that can then be translated into something useful for yourself or someone else. You seem to do this so naturally that you might even take it for granted. [ClaireC] Yes, this really resonates with me. [MEntity] Some may dive into a system and that becomes a core around which other systems must adapt, which is just as valid a means of exploration as any, but in your case, your Life Task is to bring systems together like gears in a clock. And by "systems," we also include people. For now, with minimal evidence of your Life Task, we can offer this up as a means to help with your Validation: Beneath your relationships and philosophies, you may find a dominant undercurrent question that may be something like, "Now, how and where does THIS fit..." [ClaireC] That's exactly how I function....like a giant jigsaw puzzle [MEntity] Others may relate to that kind of questioning, as well, but in your case, it shapes a great deal of your choices and pursuits, all funneling into the Life Task to find or create commonalities/common ground within various systems. [carolyn] Hello it's vey good to meet you here. I would like to ask if stepping into a designated "space of information" regarding the nine realities, could be used as a valid way of creating greater understanding around the True Validation of Overleaves. Particularly if this involved working in tandem with an entity mate or someone from your Circle of Support [MEntity] If we are understanding you correctly, we would say that is a valid means for bringing True Validation. This would be a process of recognizing that you may not share the same understanding, insight, experiences, "reality," but that your intention to invite and educate so that you can build some shared understanding, insight, experiences, and even "reality," then. It can also be the same if you already share these things, so that feedback is felt to be trusted and honest when exploring who you are to yourself and someone else. [carolyn] Share the same Overleaves? [carolyn] Well an aspect of your overleaves to be more precise. [MEntity] If you already share a reality with someone, share truths, share perceptions, it can be helpful for the validation process, but only if the intention is for validation, and not justification. [carolyn] By "inviting" say the Enlightenment position from your Circle of Support to assist, could this help further validate as opposed to justify? [MEntity] Those who share the same overleaves may show up as completely different Personalities because of how those Overleaves are used, so this would need to be considered, but there would be core traits that can be used by both. An Enlightenment Position from your Support Circle, such as we are for you and our students, is quite helpful for validation of such esoteric, philosophical, and intangible elements of the self and life. The Enlightenment Position helps one to develop the structures through which experiences are organized, understood, and processed, and having that in place can help a great deal when seeking True Validation of anything. Have we understood your questions accurately? [carolyn] Yes, thank you. [Geraldine] I've never completely validated to my satisfaction that I'm Sage-casted Sage; however, I think that is in large part due to poor definitions for Old Soul Sages in positive poles. I've validated my saginess more from how I acted when younger more than as I've been during the past 20 years or so. Although, I'm accepting that Old Sages may be far more wise and involved with truth than we give them credit for being. But, I liked how you worked with Diane's casting based on her Axis. Would you do similarly for me, even though I have matching casting/role? [MEntity] First, we will say that in the case of Sage for Casting or Role, the "packaging" would include Acceptance, Power, and Idealism, even Greed. In your case, these would show up not only when you "shine," but as a means for functioning on a day-to-day basis. Regardless of Soul Age, Sages will ALWAYS be affected by issues of Acceptance, and regardless of the Goal, will always move in directions that support or encourage Acceptance. This progresses in cycles of pushing for Acceptance of the self and of pushing for Acceptance of others. Beneath every motivation of a Sage is somehow connected to the pursuit of being Accepted. [Geraldine] Yes, I'm prone to a sweeping feeling of being rejected on a heartbeat. [MEntity] In other words, Dissemination or Oration will always be related to a Sage's navigation of Acceptance. For example, most Sages who Orate do so as a means to compensate for a sense of not being Accepted. [carolyn] I was cast with Sage as a discarnate Essence Twin, Priest role and Artisan cast. They all seem to fit on some level. [MEntity] Common to the motivation of all Sages would be statements that might go something like "I am telling you this so you can accept me;" or "I am telling you this so you can accept that;" or "I am telling you this so you can accept you;" or "I am telling you this so I can express my acceptance." [Martha] Oh yeah, that fits [Martha] A Sage must have come up with the "Like" button [MEntity] Going further, all Sages take a stance of Authority or Oppression in terms of relating information to you. Sages RELATE to the world, or to others, in terms of Expression in the face of Oppression, or sharing information as an Authority on that particular information. Power Mode is about being Present, and this is how Sages make their presence known. This is why Sages can come across as "obnoxious" and as "know it alls," because this is their nature: to be themselves, even when you wish they would not, and to speak or communicate with confidence, even as they know there may be more to learn. Sages have PRESENCE, or in our system, POWER. Sages cannot relate to others without feeling PRESENT. Otherwise, they are invisible, and invisible equals non-existent. No other Role (or Casting) requires their Presence to be known as a means for experiencing existence. Sages must show up somehow, to someone, or they die, either or both metaphorically and literally. Going further, all Sages, regardless of Soul Age, see the world in terms of how it can be improved. Regardless of the Attitude of the Personality, there will always be a theme of communicating for the sake of improving what has been deemed in need of improvement, whether this is a slow conversation, an awkward moment, a relationship, or a paradigm. Sages may do this through telling you all of the steps necessary for that improvement (coalescence) or by simply telling you it needs to improve (naivety). To Geraldine: are you finding resonance with these descriptions? [Martha] (I know I am) [MEntity] We will continue. In terms of the validating your Overleaves, will offer up statements and questions that can help in determining the validity of your set of Overleaves: [Geraldine] (and yes, I was) [MEntity] For your GOAL, a helpful way to understand how it shows up in your life is to ask: Is this a state to which I constantly strive to return my life, or the lives of others? For instance, those with a Goal of Acceptance will always find a theme of effort to be accepted, accept themselves, accept others, and encourage others to accept each other. Always. No matter what is going on in the life, the pursuit of this quality represented by the Goal is always a motivating factor in every choice. The Positive Pole is usually the most obvious way to find the validation in terms of your aim, and the Negative Pole is usually the most obvious in terms of when you feel the most ineffective or defeated. In other words, someone in Discrimination may see it most obviously in terms of moving his life into a state of refinement, or Sophistication, but can also validate Discrimination by seeing that he turns to Rejection as a way of dealing with defeat or ineffectiveness. Acceptance can see that he aims for bringing more affection or Agape into his life and the lives of others, but responds with Ingratiation when feeling defeated or ineffective in doing so. For your MODE, it can most often be validated by what you seek to encourage out of others, and what you often see is missing in others. For instance, Passion Mode would tend to encourage Passion out of others, and may gravitate toward others who lack Passion. Observation Mode might encourage others to pay more attention, and often gravitate toward those who have a hard time seeing clearly. For the ATTITUDE, it may be most easily validated by seeing what it is you most often find yourself trying to convince in others. The Spiritualist will try to convince others to the possibilities, and the Cynic might try to convince others to see the other side of the obvious, while the Idealist would try to convince others that the self, relationship, life can always be improved upon. We do not have time in this format to go through each overleaf, but these efforts to convince can show up in both positive and negative ways, relative to the poles. For instance, the Spiritualist would seek to convince others of possibilities, and can do so through helping others verify those possibilities, or by encouraging blind faith, or belief. In another format, in another time, we can describe all of the overleaves in terms that are far more capable of use for validation. We will conclude here for today. Our channel is fading in focus. The transcript identifies it as part 1, but there has never been a part 2 as of July 2017.] February 7, 2002 Troy Tolley, Channel Education Part One [M_Entity] The topic of Education is a broad one. We will be sharing some basic considerations we believe would help fragments begin a life with optimum potential and development of personal tools. “Education” begins within 48 hours of Physical Birth. The Body is a complete sensory unit and focal point “into” the Physical Plane for Essence at that time. We say the Body is “complete” as a sensory unit at that time because, relative to later influences, certain senses may or may not be heightened or diminished over time. For the first 7 years of a life, in general, the Essence gradually “moves in.” Essence does not live through the Body before that period of time, though there are exceptions. During the first 7 years, past life Personalities of relevance, as well as Essence, “care” for the Body and direct it and those fragments of importance around it for as many opportunities for imprinting as possible. When we say the “Essence and past Personalities direct those of importance,” we do not imply this is done through deceit or imposition. It is done through Agreement formation and fulfillment in most cases, or Karma. However the Body is cared for and guided, between the ages of 2 and 3 the Centering has become habit. This then would become one of its Overleaves. This is the first Overleaf of importance in determining the beginnings of Education on a higher level than primal. Children, then, can easily be said to be from three basic groups: Moving Centered, Intellectually Centered, and Emotionally Centered. There are, of course, those who are Instinctive Centered, and we will address these rare fragments another time. If intentional Education is addressed to fragments before the age of 7, it is helpful to acknowledge their primary Centering during that time as the priority. Moving Centered children, indicated many times by Physical symptoms in the skin (barring basic “diaper rash”) and tendencies to hit, bounce, stand, and/or pull more strongly, would gain more from focus on toys that encourage the EARS or HEARING. Intellectually Centered children, indicated many times by far more vocalizations, screaming, and “tantrums,” would do well with an emphasis on toys that require physical contact, touching. Emotionally Centered children, indicated many times by more quiet, smiling, and “good” babies, would do well with an emphasis on toys which require balance, combining, and color. (Emotionally Centered children see color far earlier than other children.) Before we continue, we will pause for questions about educating children up the age of 7. Are there any questions? [ClaireN] How does the environment affect learning? [M_Entity] If you consider the basic route of education for the child under 7 years of age, then it could be said that any emphasis on the more distracting influences could diminish learning. It could also be said that an OVER emphasis can be damaging. For instance if an Emotionally Centered child has a focus on Hearing, they may lose the important development from the more complementary route of Color, Balance, and Combining. Then again, if they are overexposed to harsh colors and chaos, they may tend to inhibit all interest in anything to complement their Centering. If an Intellectually Centered child has more of a focus on Hearing and Music, for another example, they may lose the important shaping from the more complementary need for Touch and Physical Interaction; though if they are carelessly touched, or indifferently cared for, they can be greatly damaged. As you can see, most caretakers intuitively provide ALL of the possible complementary toys and methods for education. But we can say that if an emphasis of a healthier development is a consideration, the more specific suggestions are important. Did this answer your question? [ClaireN] Yes, thank you. [M_Entity] You may have noticed that what we have suggested as educational focus is not primary to the Centering that is developing. Instead, it is complementary in that the emphasis will create a contrast to create a “rounding out” of the Center, creating less of an opportunity for the Center to live in a TRAP or PART, later. By the Age of 7, the Part is a habit. The greater the comprehension and strength of the Center by that time, the less it depends on a Part, but instead, uses ALL Parts appropriately. From the Age of 7, the focus of Education would best be geared toward defining the “Primary Essence Influence.” We say “Primary Essence Influence” because Essence may or may not be supported by the Overleaves as they rest on a predominate Axis. When it comes to a lifetime, especially before the 4th Internal Monad, the Personality, as the OVERLEAVES define it, is the most important concern, not necessarily the Role of Essence. Emphasizing discovering the Personality and its focus is key in allowing Essence to manifest as clearly and consistently as possible later in life. With that being said, it must be considered that past the age of 7, Education must address 3 very vital areas of the Personality: The Goal, the Mode, and the Attitude. Currently, those with an emphasis on Overleaves resting on the Inspiration, Expressive Axes are lost to the emphasis on the Moving and Assimilative Axes. Creative, Inspiring activities and outlets are not available in any meaningful way until after what is called High School, in most cases. Because the system is focused on only supporting only the Moving or Assimilative Axes, even if programs are in place for Expression and Inspiration, they are ridiculed, belittled, and under-funded, separating that group of Personalities in potentially detrimental ways. We suggest an overhaul of this basic inconsiderate system of education by not only creating methods of teaching that accommodate each Axis, but also accommodate each area of important development in terms of the Goal, Mode, and Attitude. This would mean teaching children from the primary axis of Inspiration through methods that encourage Emotional associations, feelings, and intuition. Teaching children from the primary axis of Action to be taught through sports, physical interaction, and tactile methods. Teaching Expressive Axis children through stories, expression, acting, communication, art, performance and stage. This is highly simplistic, but we realize the time frame we have through this channel is limited. Using the appropriate methods based on Axis, the school “day” would then be emphasized in 3 segments, each focusing on either the Goal, Mode, or Attitude. This basically means developing and encouraging the basic tendencies and interests of the child as he or she has shown interest (the goal), teaching the very basics of intimacy, sexuality, relationships, and exposure to varying cultures (the Mode). Teaching the 7 basic philosophies on the planet (the attitude). We cannot emphasize enough the importance of teaching the 7 basic philosophies before or during the teen years. If there is one, single aspect of education that condemns a society to unhealthy development and division, it is in the lack of understanding your own personal perceptions/philosophy and those of others. We will add here that we have not forgotten the Assimilative Axis. This Axis, of all of them, is the most adaptable and would gravitate itself toward the Axis most meaningful at varying points of development. The irony is in the “backward” approach to using, instead, the whole of Assimilation as the means to teach, rather than allowing those who are naturally Assimilative to adapt. We will pause here for questions, noting that this topic is far from concluded here, though the time is running out. If there are no more questions, we will conclude here. [JNelson] How do the Overleaves figure into how to teach a specific subject matter that a culture has already decided to teach? For instance, how would you teach Inspiration or Emotionally inclined fragments about math? [M_Entity] The premise of a subject would not change. In the case of Math, of course the focus must be on objects and their relation to each other. For each Axis, it is not necessarily that the means to teach would vary so wildly, but that the emphasis in the environment would change. For instance, the Inspirational children would learn Math based in an environment that is less structured, more intuitive, and made room for feelings. The Expressive children would learn through socializing, acting out the theories in story or song, and playing. A stereotypical classroom for the Inspirational children would be calmer, working with 3 dimensional representations, and using discussion, guessing, and emotional language. A Stereotypical classroom for the Expressive children would be boisterous, loud, using humor, food, and smells and lots and lots of personal associations to learn. The difference we propose is that a room with structure, pen and paper, and facing forward, are only specifically beneficial to Assimilation, and secondarily to Action. Beanbags chairs, toys, and stage, regardless of the subject, would keep a Sage’s or Artisan’s attention in any subject all the way through High School.   6. May 21, 2001 Troy Tolley, Channel Open Floor THANKS TO MaryBV for Moderating and Transcribing! [Michael_Entity] We are here. One moment. Hello to all of you. The format tonight appears to be set in the “open floor” context, so we will simply open the floor and begin taking your questions as they come. You may begin. We do not have any comments to begin with. [MaryBV] I would like to know if there are any combination of Overleaves that cause people to be tardy for things, i.e., those perpetually late people. [Michael_Entity] Though there can be many factors involved, it is usually the effects of the “exalted” Overleaves that creates a lack of linear perception of Time. Ordinality is usually “closer” to comprehending Time and its implications, since Ordinality is more focused. This is not completely consistent, but it is a factor to consider. The primary Overleaf determining the experience and utilization of Time is the ATTITUDE. Exalted Attitudes can become quite “lost” in the restricted frameworks. Many who have an Exalted Attitude with a self-karmic situation to contend with concerning Time will create a challenge through the Chief Features of Martyrdom and Impatience. This will create the wonderfully-charged issues around Time and Space for them. We would think many would assume that the more exalted Roles might have “trouble” with Time, or that the more Inputs an Essence has, the more trouble they might have, but this is not consistent and is surprisingly more of the opposite. Those with One Input (Warriors, Kings, and Scholars) will have more trouble with Time than other Roles. Priest and Servers will be next, and Sages and Artisans having the least. Again, this is not a rule, but a reference. We have observed that those with one input are more likely to have trouble “multitasking” or “shifting gears” as they create routines and schedules to accommodate life. Those with more Inputs can gauge Time while they function on other levels. What we have mentioned in our response are just suggestions, not answers. Observe these for validation, if you choose. It is a place to start. [Nick] Is there a method that can be used to become more creative? [Michael_Entity] There is never a time when you are not being Creative. What most are asking when they ask such a question is, “how can I feel more alive?” Determining the context in which you are trying to specifically channel your creativity is a first step. This can be done by noticing what it IS that makes you “feel alive.” Therein lies the clues to what you may have “inside you” longing to take form. We believe understanding your Role in Essence is a good place to start. Each Role has a basic NEED to create and a default Creation. PRIESTS and Servers NEED to create Inspiration, with the Priest defaulting to Guidance in the Positive and Steering in the Negative; Servers with Nurturing in the Positive and Manipulation in the Negative. Sages and Artisans NEED to create Expression, with Sages defaulting to Fun in the positive and Turbulence in the Negative; Artisans to create Structure in the Positive Pole and in the Negative, Stricture. Kings [and Warriors] NEED to create ACTION, with Kings defaulting to creating Progression in the Positive Pole and Enforcement in the Negative; Warriors creating Cohesion in the Positive, while creating Protection in the Negative. Scholars NEED to create ASSIMILATION, with Transformation in the Positive and Consumption in the Negative. There are many words to choose from to capture the spectrum from positive to negative in terms of anything, but these words are accurate to their point. Knowing your Role will give you, at least, a context to get started in permitting yourself to FEEL the creativity that is “natural” to you. As with many questions asked in an “open floor” forum, we will only be able to touch partially on the vastness of what is possible to explore. [ShannonB] I'm asking this for a friend, so I hope I get the gist of it right. Up to what point do roles remain significant or cohesive? Do Cadres have roles, or do the fragments in them retain their roles? [Michael_Entity] Although the Roles will remain a part of Essence throughout an entire Cycle, Essence Roles remain meaningful only as long as there are attachments to the individual Personalities in differentiation. To help explain: Essence as ROLE is the functioning aspect of “you” that is geared toward experiencing division/resistance, while CASTING is geared toward experiencing union/surrender. Essence as ROLE will “think” of all of its incarnations in the way a mother may think of her children. This sense of regard for all of the Personalities experienced lasts through the Causal to some degree. Up to and through the Causal, ROLE will be a reference, though less and less. Upon graduating the Causal, (and even while experiencing the Causal Plane) Casting becomes your primary reference. Once an Entity is entering the Causal, the experiencing of all of the Personalities shifts to a far more united mind, so to speak. Once the Entity begins “thinking as one,” (again, so to speak) only your position within the Entity is then referenced. Entities do not have Roles, though a predominance of Roles does give each Entity a “flavor.” Your ROLE is what you came to incarnations to make “shine” and “manifest,” while Casting is what you simply ARE. To put it another way, you will find that you PLAY your Role, and LIVE your Casting. [JNelson] Michael has mentioned that it is one of their agendas to redefine the current context of the educational system. Would Michael care to elaborate? [Michael_Entity] It is not a primary agenda as we have come across in some of our channeling and channels, but it is an impact we have chosen as our context in most of our incarnations in other parallels as a Transcendental Soul, so this “spills” into our parallels as a nonphysical teacher as well. We believe the incorporation of comprehending the various learning natures of each Essence could do greatly in healing much of the intellectual divisions on your planet. Currently the schooling system is geared toward the methods of Scholars, Warriors and Kings, though the Personality Overleaves may concur or not. Artisans, Sages, Priests, and Servers have no means to learn in a way that is conducive to them. Because of their fluidity, they can manage, but there is a toll. We believe it not to be GOOD WORK to identify children as Roles and start them along an education geared toward that Role, but rather allow the children to gravitate toward and define their Role as they discover it, making all forms of education available in some form at least through the age of 7. It will be obvious early on as to what direction a child may gravitate. Currently, all education before the age of 7 is geared toward the four Roles that are then “left out” as “formal” education begins. We would be willing to outline our entire concept of this in a session focusing on this topic, but this is a glimpse at our basic premise. [Dewliet] Hi Michael – Since I’m due with my second child in July, I was wondering if you could give me some tips on pain management and/or other aspects of childbirth, including techniques and medication that might not be covered in traditional texts? [Michael_Entity] Most of these techniques and medications or meditations for that matter, have been covered. There have been many births on your planet. Ourselves, having given birth hundreds of thousands of times, found that chewing on licorice root relieved a great deal of stress during labor, while the pain was found to be surprisingly easily forgotten. You have medications now that we did not have, and while we do not wish to affect your choice, we do believe enduring the “natural” pain is worth the health of the child. Many children have been given birth while the mother is under heavy medication and the results are not conclusive or consistent, so this would be your choice to use them or not. In your case, we see your knowledge that it is a passing pain, however lightly experienced or difficulty endured, will help. There will be a “knowing” in you that will be calming. This is not a prediction, but rather a comment on your nature. If you look at most of your most painful and difficult changes in your life, most mothers can see a parallel in their birthing. In your case, regardless of what appears, you have a calming knowing that it will pass and you are safe. [Annette] I know that there are special cameras that photograph the aura, and I have witnessed and photographed pictures with shapes, shadows/clouds, and orbs in them 11 days after my father passed away. Are these guides or spirit entities and can you comment on why we are able to see them like this? Are they making attempt to communicate? [Michael_Entity] The Kirlian Photography is a special technique, while flash photography is simply flash photography. Kirlian Photography allows you to see the bioenergetic (etheric) fields of your body in much the same way that iodine allows certain photography to see into the body. In the case of Kirlian Photography, there is a high frequency, electrical charge run through the object to help amplify its energetic emissions. Any camera that is used to photograph the “aura” that does not include the electricity running through the object is simply an EMULATION or simulation and is invalid. They are the equivalence of a kaleidoscope, to some degree. In Flash Photography, there is validity to much of what is seen as a paranormal phenomenon. Much of what are seen as “orbs” are actually microscopic dust particles in that moment, amplified by the flash. When the images are valid, they are not necessarily consciousness trying to communicate, but rather energetic emissions in the environment. When mourning is involved, the emissions can be great. Much of what are valid orbs, in the case of mourning, are merely the releasing of energetic “pockets,” if you will, that allow the fragment passing to “gather themselves.” Letting go of someone is most literal in mourning, even if the fragment being “let go” is still incarnating. Though some patterns are a form of consciousness, most are not, at least in terms of guides and spirits. If a “guide” or “spirit” is able to be photographed, then it is not of Essence, but of Personality as it is attached to the object of interest. That would mean they are not actually guides or spirits, but more like “echoes” of living aspect of themselves. [Annette] How do you know the difference then? [Michael_Entity] Again, another topic that we will not be able to exhaust in this forum. In being able to tell the difference, if there is a consciousness involved in those terms, dreams are more likely their medium of exchange. We dare say that Spirits and Guides (as we know the term) do not hover mid-physical making pretty lights. [JNelson] Would Michael care to outline the ways in which various Roles in Essence learn? [Michael_Entity] In another chat or as a topic on your list, as the time constraints on this session will not permit. Michael Speaks, October 28, 2012 Open Floor Questions 12:41 PM 10/28/2012 [tkmppi] As the votes in municipal elections are just being counted, I'd like to hear a short comment from Michael on the populist party Perussuomalaiset (”The Finns”), with candidates of foreign background as well as those opposed to immigration, which appears to be the only winning party in these elections, although not as many votes as it got in the parliamentary elections last year [MEntity] We will offer a short comment: This Party appears to be comprised of early Mature souls who are working to clarify what they deem is an optimal balance between the social and economic contexts. If it were put into terms familiar to our teaching, it might be described as the "self-karmic" Party, with those feeling resonance with it working through internal conflicts that go hand in hand with evolving consciousness that also wants to retain familiarities. This is just a short comment with no emphasis or direction, so if you would like for us to clarify, or if you do not find this valid or relevant, you may say so, if you choose. [tkmppi] It's relevant, and clarifies my own feelings about the party. [Ingun] Could you share some of the overleaves or any comments on what Anders Behring Breivik did, the perpetrator of the 2011 attacks here in Norway. [MEntity] This appears to be an early Young Priest in the Negative Poles who could not fathom a direction of a world away from his own ideals, which appear to have been imprinted heavily and never questioned. It goes beyond this, in that it was not about the world moving in a direction away from his own ideals, but about removing those who represented that move away from the ideals. When one has deemed oneself a keeper of an ideal that does not allow for variations or inclusion of differences, it can lead to delusional violence that range between the acts of this Priest to political maneuvers to enact oppressive laws. With a Goal of Submission, Mode of Passion, Attitude of Idealism, and Chief Features of Impatience and Martyrdom, all of which were in the Negative Poles, were used to funnel a violent assault that was consciously chosen with conviction and with a sense of justification. [Maureen] Michael – you said: “Every Entity 5 is themed in Expansion vs Adventure, and in this case, this Entity is scattered across the planet, constantly moving, with not too many fragments from that entity getting too close together.” Considering we are usually spread out around the world, I know of 7 C1E5s (including me) living in Toronto. I feel like we are starting to gather together for some reason as many of us have had first contact or have gotten back in touch in the last 2 years. Is this a high number for one location or is this just a “coincidence”? One thing of note -- we do have different levels of contact with each other (i.e. I've never met one of the other Entity 5 members, in person). [MEntity] Maureen, many entity members who can, will manage to cross paths in some way, or be brought to the awareness of, the 7th Level Old who may or may not return. This is not unusual, and it is one of the "fun things" that is attempted for one who is 7th Level Old. Especially if that entity has been themed in keeping intimacy across time and space barriers throughout lifetimes. [Maureen] Thank you! [MEntity] That is not the only reason, of course, because these fragments have lives that are being shaped by their own choices, but it is part of the consideration. And though this entity can tend to be scattered, as the entity members age in Soul Age, the gravity of the reunion begins to become priority. [Diane_HB] When people are regressed into the Theta state, they remember their time between lives and the procedures that they go through to reincarnate. They talk about taking a certain amount of energy to earth -- between 35% to 75%. Why do people under hypnosis experience themselves as choosing new lives and not Essence making new fragments? [MEntity] When the regression is valid, there is little differentiation between the Personality and Essence, much in the same way that one might begin to live when Manifesting Essence. The "I" is Essence. The Essence includes the current Personality. The differentiation is moot. In those descriptions of quantifiable "energy," it may be a description of the Instinctive Center being carried forward after Review, or the uploading of the relevant data, so to speak. Beyond that, the perception would, naturally, TEND to be from the perspective of the current Personality, regardless of how deep the state. [Diane_HB] I thought uploading of data is from personality to essence, whereas the Michael Newton books talk about "bringing down energy" in terms of the "soul" using a percentage of its energy to incarnate. [MEntity] Both would be true. Data can be "uploaded" from Personality, especially while still incarnated, but is often still in charge of that work during Review, after a lifetime. This is, basically, a dumping of all data relative to the Chakras used by that Personality. The Instinctive Center, sans those extensions that were the Chakras for that lifetime, is then moved into another life and Personality, which will then extract and build its own relative Chakra system. Imagine the Instinctive Center as a kind of Annual Plant that always returns with new growth, but always from the same starting point. In terms of incarnation, that plant grows faster and stronger in each successive life, if you will. Every incarnation takes a certain amount of energy, and each lifetime comes with a certain amount built in from which to then build from, either with or without Essence. That allotted energy tends to be relative to the amount of data extracted from the Instinctive Center from the previous life and Personality, if we are going to describe this in a linear way. For example, if 75% of the Instinctive Center was usable data that was completion of Monads, Karma, etc, or as data that must be returned to in much later incarnations, then when the incarnation is set up, it might be said to have been sent with "75%" energy. That would be because 25% of the Instinctive Center is being carried forward, with 75% of new Essence energy for new experiences, plans, momentum, etc. [Diane_HB] Would somebody with "75%" energy *feel* more energetic than someone with "35%" energy? [MEntity] It is not that it is 75% of Essence, but rather a description of that which is refreshed in the Instinctive Center. For instance, those who are in the 6th Level of a Soul Age tend to have carried over a rather full Instinctive Center, whereas those in the 5th Levels tend to have a higher percentage of new space in their Instinctive Center. Again, this is a crude and limited description, but it is valid enough for beginning to understand. The amount of "new energy" versus carry-over of Instinctive data has no bearing on the feeling of "energy" of a lifetime, because everyone responds to either of these extremes in different ways. For example, there are those on the 6th Level with "jammed-packed" Instinctive Centers carried over so that as much Karma (both internally and externally) can be addressed as possible, and some will feel the weight of this and feel the pull below the water, while others keep their heads above water and gain a kind of optimistic strength, even as they tread the exhausting waters of that life. The feelings of "energetic" are shaped by choices, health, priorities, diet, geography, projects, etc. not by past lives or energy dynamics of Essence or Instinctive Center. [ClaireC] Hello, Michael. We touched on Dementia at last Wednesday's POF. Since this is such a difficult Choice to understand and knowing that a lot depends on the individuals' soul ages, can you elaborate more on this in view of our aging Baby-Boomer population and the dismal statistics facing us? Is there a large physical component too? [MEntity] Though we tend to emphasize the more metaphysical components of an ailment, disease, or injury, there are basic physical factors that are involved that matter. We can expound upon the metaphysical matters that are behind a person who is hit by a bus, but the fact that will remain that anyone hit by a bus is probably going to get injured, or die. A bus is a large object that, when hurdling through space toward a softer object, may tend toward devastating results. And so it is with the Human body: as it moves through time and space, it does not regenerate and renew in ways that enable it to live "forever," but as the time frame for life expands, so does the body begin to house a brain with diminishing capacities for functioning as it used to function. For many fragments, however, this is not as ugly an experience as it would seem to be, anymore than birth is an ugly experience. The developing brain in a "useless" body is no different than a diminishing brain in a "useless" body. The return to an infantile state can be greatly liberating to a Personality who may have repressed a great deal over the lifetime. The development of some form of Dementia tends to be relative to the level of repression that may have been involved in the life, relative to the denial of dependency, relative to the insistence on control, and so many other factors. It is as diverse in "reason for having" as any other condition. But we can say that diet contributes greatly to the eventual condition. [ClaireC] I thought so. Thank you. [Martha] Yesterday I met Damien Echols and his wife Lorri Davis, and read Damien's very priest-y book about his spiritual journey while on death row for nearly 20 years in brutal conditions. Their story seems full of major karma, monads, and the makings of an epic tale. His focus on staying an awake and growing spiritual person, while surrounded by what sounds like much younger souls and/or those who never progressed through even the earliest internal monads, is very inspiring. He's had some truly amazing support as well from lots of people. I know some of their story may still be private due to ongoing karma, but can you share something about what all is going on here? He and the rest of the West Memphis 3 were recently released but not exonerated. I think Arkansas does not want to admit how badly they fucked up. [MEntity] This is an example of a Server and how one lifetime can be the equivalent of 30 for other fragments. This is a cluster of "classic" Monads come to full completion (or near completion) in one lifetime for the fragments involved: Attacker/Victim; Healer/Healed; Rescuer/Rescued; Dependent/Independent; Pivotal Facilitator, Facilitated; Passive/Aggressive; Artist/Patron; Deserter/Abandoned; Defender/Defended; Player/Pawn; Hidden/Disclosed; Slander/Slandered; Jailer/Prisoner; Tandem Monads. [Martha] is he a Michael student? [Martha] not this life, but in general? [MEntity] Yes, he is. He is from Cadre 11. [Martha] I had a recognition hit with him and his wife [MEntity] Your Cadre 11. This is not to say that this was planned or imposed upon the Personality, but that once there was a situation that presented itself as being optimal for "making the best of it," these Monads were pulled in over time. [Janet] My attitude is Stoic and I have found little documentation -- only generalities -- as to what this attitude entails. (For example: “sees life as if they have seen it all before”.) Most of the references to Stoic that I've found are in association with those who are Spiritualist and need to use the positive pole of Stoic to get out of negative pole of Spiritualist. For the benefit of all of us Stoics, can you perhaps provide little more info about this attitude? Are there identifiable degrees between the positive and negative poles? [MEntity] Janet, the Stoic is one who interprets life in terms of behavior and character vs claims and descriptions. Character and behavior must take priority over other facets of interpretation. For instance, it will not matter what one says, but what one does, who one IS. The Stoic explores the world of ethics as sustained and nurtured through self-management, self-awareness, self-control. This realm of ethic evolves from being standardized in the younger Soul Ages to being highly individualized by the Old Soul Age, with nuances granted. We have described the Stoic as "one who sees the world as if it has been seen before" because the Stoic uses one's "nature" as the defining force against which to measure ethics and authenticity. This nature is a constant, even if individualized. In short, the older Soul Stoic might simply see the world in terms of how true one is to oneself. And "oneself" is one's nature, and this is fairly constant, if not completely constant. It can be built upon, evolved, expanded, destroyed, crippled, wounded, but it is a constant that is fairly easy to discern by the Stoic. The Stoic interprets life with a spectrum of understanding that one's nature is naturally limiting, that one's environment is naturally constricting, that one's upbringing has its effects, and so on, and that all of these things contribute to the character and behavior of a person in a way that is somewhat deterministic. That a person is the way he is because that is what he has to work with. [Janet] I assume the Stoic applies this yardstick both to herself and to others. [MEntity] In the Positive Pole, Tranquility, the Stoic is not disappointed, not disoriented, and not reactionary to the ups and downs of life, or the behavior and choices of others. This Stoic does not see these as "good" or "bad" things, but as symptoms of the nature of someone or something. This Stoic works with that. As this is an Ordinal, Inspirational Attitude, it can see itself in anyone around, as Inspiration is merely reflection of potential used for benefit. The Negative Pole Stoic has moved into Resignation and no longer bothers with the nuances and potential, but determines that everyone is the same, or potentially the same, and that there is no use or hope in seeing anything differently. And, yes, this is both internal and external, Janet. None of this is to say that a Stoic is not expressive or that she does not wish for more, have opinions, experience expectations, because there are several elements at play in a Personality, but the older Stoic in the Positive Pole WILL tend to aim for that recognition of the nature of a person or situation over the expectations and demands of that person or situation, while the older Stoic in the Negative Pole will tend to dismiss any effort to consider beyond a conclusion drawn. Do you relate? [Janet] Yes. Very much so. [jesuislulu] Hello Michael, I felt the recent divergence quite viscerally. Feeling like I had begun walking away from this city and overall almost all aspects of political polarization. I would like you to elaborate on what the effects were regarding the current crossroads we are finding ourselves with such a polarized political situation. I have been living in a highly republican state feeling a fish out of water and am going tomorrow for a job interview in yet another state with a similar political climate. I was asked the other day what would be any different. Could you speak to the overall energetics of the Wilmington NC area? [MEntity] All Old Souls are going to experience the "fish out of water" experience to some degree in a world that currently hosts only a maximum of 10% of an Old Soul perspective (mostly found in science fiction and non-religious metaphysical circles), no matter where one lives. This will probably not change in your lifetimes. One of the challenges of an Old Soul is how to balance the higher perspective of life that works for the Old Soul, while teaching it, which is inherently a part of every Old Soul to do in some way. So the matter is not so much about what the rest of the world, or state, or county, or province, or city or town is doing or believing or practicing, but how you go about teaching what you want to teach. [jesuislulu] ok I get this [MEntity] Some of the truths learned by Old Souls is that their perspective (teaching) cannot be imposed, cannot be forced, and cannot be immediately understood or accepted. [jesuislulu] hence the fish outta water [MEntity] And that the teaching must come naturally, not from reaction, urgency, or manipulation. By "naturally," we mean that it is born of example, conversation, encouragement, education, etc. And most importantly: that not everyone wants to, or can, understand or learn your teaching. Yet. If an Old Soul is in a body, he or she is teaching. It is not something that is necessary to organize or focus. It is quite difficult for most Old Souls NOT to live their own teachings, and this is their most consistent means of teaching. However, some of the Old Souls' most difficult and challenging teachings is to move beyond the focus of how others are failing, and to continue learning, themselves. The Old Soul who is distracted with the failings of others has stopped learning. Not literally, but figuratively, in many ways. All of this is barring the conditions of someone, or a group, somehow interfering with, or removing, your capacity for choice, or your Rights within that shared paradigm. In that case, it is no longer a matter of teaching, then, but a matter of putting into effect everything relevant that you have learned, as best you can. You may not change the city, but you do not have to diminish your value as a person for the sake of someone else's imposed beliefs put into action. Beliefs are one thing, but when put into action that may interfere with your choice or Rights, then the choice to counter this, or not, becomes its own teaching. We are speaking in broader contexts than your city in question, of course, but this is relevant to all of our students in the world, wherever they are. The United States is quite clearly divided in its embodying of the shift from Young to Mature, with the Baby and Young on "one side" and the Mature and Old on the other. This is the most definitive we have seen it in a long time, but tends to be one of the symptoms of a paradigm shift forward, not backward. By "forward" we mean more inclusive. The more inclusive a paradigm, the more blatantly the exclusive are allowed to be. This is true of your own Personalities, as well. You can be in your Positive Poles, and still throw a tantrum, because you know you will, eventually, make the choice that is the best you can make. You can be in your Positive Poles and still worry about a job interview, because it is fair to be uncertain about the future when it is dependent upon the decision of someone else, all the while still knowing you will adapt and evolve with whatever you may encounter. The greater the inclusivity, the louder the exclusivity, both in the world, and in yourselves. Because it knows it is safe, so to speak. You are in the middle of an area that is quite unlike yourself, not for any other reason than that you have evolved to a point where this can be allowed in your world, even as you find great distaste for it.     Ask Michael Open Floor Chat August 3, 2014 Channel: Troy Tolley [Ty] I've been interested in the not-so-commonly held Historicist interpretation of the Book of Revelation lately: Could Michael comment on their perspective of what exactly is the deal with that piece of writing? (like what it means, etc) [MEntity] To examine this writing, particularly in terms of its reinterpretations of reinterpretations, would be quite a task, as there are such personal and nuanced symbolism within it that builds upon itself within particular contexts set. For example, if one were to explore the meaning of a dream where one sees a red wand that is suspended by light while swimming in a lake, one would have [MEntity] several elements here to explore before fully comprehending the symbolic language in its parts and as a whole as a message. [MEntity] So for simplistic purposes, we will say that, overall, the writing is a personal account of this individual's sense of his world ending, or transforming. It is not prophetic, and was never meant to be prophetic. [MEntity] It was never meant to refer to the world beyond his known world. [Ty] So things that appear to match up quite well historically would be coincidence? [MEntity] To apply this individual's dreams to relevance in time beyond himself is about as useful as reading any one of our student's dream journals in your community as a means to gain insight into your own life. [MEntity] Historically, there may be significance, but not beyond his own time. [MEntity] Depending on the version one is reading, the altering of words to retrofit more recent history (relatively speaking) can be fairly high. [MEntity] It is natural for imagination to find patterns, and then this must be navigated with intelligence to sort through which are valid. For example, there are many who feel that there is significance to a particular time seen on a digital clock when that is rarely the case. It simply happens that it is a pattern that you can extract from your experiences. [MEntity] Some patterns are ignored because there is intelligence involved. For example, going in and out of your front door of your home is not a startling event of significance, even though it is far more likely a pattern of signifance and consistency than a digital clock read out. [MEntity] And though a digital clock read out will never amount to more than an amusing synchronicity, many will impose mysterious significance upon it. [Ty] Sounds like you're talking about Angel Numbers [GeraldineB] 11:11 [MEntity] We use these more accessible examples as a means to point to the same process being used when interpreting writing, dreams, and records from the past as seen as prophecy. [Ty] Some of the writing claim in themselves to be prophecies, such as he book of Daniel from the OT [MEntity] We once described a "future" to our students as including homes that were partly triangular shape, connected by strands of light that were used for instant travel. This was met with oohs and ahhhs until we pointed out that we were describing the roofs of homes currently on the block, connected by cables of electricity and television and internet, which allowed for instant "travel." [MEntity] Our point being that our description of the present in more poetic terms could be interpreted outside of time and in any number of ways. This is how some historic writing is in nature, as well. [GeraldineB] I'd like to ask for followup information about how wide-spread Transcendental Souls are spread out through out society. You've alluded to it previously as many are unknown people outside of their local area. Recently, you said that several comedians were TSs -- is this in the full sense of being O6s or in a particular way they are functioning? [MEntity] We do not think we referred to these fragments as Transcendental Souls, but as teachers/channels for Entities. [MEntity] These are distinctly different contexts. [GeraldineB] ooh ok -- I thought the term TS was used -- [GeraldineB] then, please explain what you did mean [MEntity] For example, Troy is not a Transcendental Soul, he is a channel for us. Troy is not of our Entity, and therefore will never be a Transcendental Soul representing us. For us to be a Transcendental Soul, a fragment from our own Entity must incarnate. A Transcendental Soul is born, not channeled, though the fragment born does act as a channel for his or her Entity. [GeraldineB] oooooh [GeraldineB] But, you are cycled off [MEntity] Many comedians, healers, dancers, artists, etc are teachers/or channels for Entities with a teaching, just like us. [MEntity] Different Entities teach in different ways through different Centers. Our Teaching is Intellectually-based, while including the Emotional and Moving. More Movement-based teachings require channels who move, use the body more, and/or have more direct access to students, such as dancers and healers. [MEntity] And so on. [MEntity] All True Teachings include all Centers, but are based in different ways. We do not provide healing energy, nor do we inspire through a pirouette, but we still heal and inspire. [Maureen] Which center did Seth teach through? [MEntity] Intellectual, of course. [MEntity] If the teaching is vocal, it is Intellectual. [MEntity] All Entities as they pass through the Causal will teach the Physical Plane in some way, so there must be a multitude of channels and methods of teaching. [MEntity] The variation of Parallels allows for all Entities to have sets of parallels that are focused on their collection of students. Within that set, there will be at least one parallel where the incarnation as Transcendental Soul is fulfilled. [MEntity] As for the state of Transcendental Souls on the planet, there are very few in this parallel. [Kurtis] Hi Michael, in the OMW section of this site I found some nifty information on how Aggression and Power Modes evolve intimacy. [Kurtis] "...Aggression is an exalted action Overleaf. Aggression evolves intimacy by way of constant change, movement, activity, progress. One must be able to "keep up." [Kurtis] Intimacy is nearly impossible with someone who might wish to slow you down, tame you, or fault you for constant change of focus and directions." [Kurtis] "...Power Mode is about Being Present. It is an Expressive Overleaf, not an action, so it will be about making your presence known in some way. [Kurtis] It is about owning your presence, being comfortable in your skin, "being yourself." [Kurtis] In other words, how you might evolve intimacy is in how much of "you" can be present, be permitted, allowed, without shame, silencing, etc." [Kurtis] I was wondering if you could provide the same info for how the other modes evolve intimacy like those examples. [Kurtis] Particularly Observation, Passion and Reserve, as most students here are or slide to those modes. [Kurtis] I don't want to take too much time off of others questions so if all other 5 can't be fit in, just cut some off of course and I can ask for them another time. [MEntity] For Observation Mode, it is a matter of truly seeing and being seen. The key, however, is that it is not a static state. It is an evolving, shifting, and adaptive state of seeing and being seen. Intimacy for Observation Mode is killed if someone locks him or her in one version of himself or herself. If the one in Observation does not allow for the variations and facets of others, but locks them into one preference or expectation, this begins to repel the other. [MEntity] For Passion Mode, intimacy is evolved through each being extensions of the other. This can show up in a range between co-dependency and co-creation. Co-dependency expects the other to represent himself or herself. Behaving in ways that are outside of the range of Passion's own behavior can be startling and divisive. This can still lead to intimacy, depending upon the relationship, because some are drawn to Passion precisely for that context of personal transformation. If this is not an understood dynamic, it can be messy. [MEntity] This is usually the case when Passion is used or sought for teaching. [MEntity] Co-creation is a dynamic of inspiration that feeds from one another as Passion learns about the self through other. This is more appealing, as both are learning then. [MEntity] Both are teachers. [MEntity] Reserve evolves in intimacy through layers of reveal. It must be experienced and processed as layers, not as a dive into a deep pool, but as a cool or warm sip at a time. [MEntity] As you can see, the reason Obvservation cannot be static is because it can slide to any of these, and each of these are valid paths of intimacy. [MEntity] We can eleborate upon all of these as a topic of focus, if that is requested. [ViP1] Why is it necessary for an Entity to reunite before cycling off the Astral plane to the Causal plane, as compared to fragments being able to reside on, or move to, the Causal plane without that happening first? (Or even before that, if I remember correctly, possibly by the 6th level of the Astral?) Is the sheer amount of input on the Causal plane too much for a single fragment to process without the bonding and resonance with the rest of the Entity in place? [MEntity] There could be two valid responses to that question. One is that your latter suggestion is true. To move through the Causal as a fragment would "destroy" the fragment. The density of the Plane is such that the physics would disintegrate the fragment. There may be more accurate words to describe this, but it is fair enough in terms of understanding it here. We can only speculate on this, of course, as no individual fragment has resided in the Causal. [MEntity] In much the same way that your Physical Body could not be sustained in the Astral, neither can the Astral Body be sustained in the Causal. At least, not in the way it was used in the Astral. [ViP1] ok (I thought individual fragments also had Causal bodies, but perhaps these are built such that they must "hook in" to the Causal body of the Entity as a whole?) [MEntity] Your response here leads to our second answer. [MEntity] The reason one is referred to as a fragment is because one is already a part of a whole. That whole already exists, and as one moves beyond the denser planes, that fragmentation is naturally left behind, even if the "individual" is not. [MEntity] Your "Causal" Bodies ARE your Entity. [MEntity] It is a field shared across all fragments of that Entity. [MEntity] As a Physical Incarnation, this may be more nuanced in its relevance to the fragment, but it is still connected across all fragments. [MEntity] Imagine an ice cube tray that could produce 1000 cubes. Your Entity is a perpetually-replenished pitcher of water poured into that tray, divided into cubes. When frozen, that is like an incarnation. When thawed, that is like the Astral. When poured back into the pitcher, it is the Causal. [MEntity] So it is not so much that the fragment would be "destroyed" as an individual in the Causal, but that the very nature of progression to the Causal, naturally, requires a different state. [MEntity] As an ice cube, "you" are destroyed. But everything that made up that ice cube is never lost. [ViP1] and all ice cube shapes are stored in the Akashic [MEntity] We realize these are crude analogies, but they work. [MEntity] To include how the Akashic fits into this, we would have to move to a different analogy or metaphor, as it is not a Plane in which anyone resides, but is only accessed. [MEntity] It is more like the center of a vortex that exists because of what is spinning around it. A donut hole, if you will. [ROYCEonROIDS] Art as I know it at its best is a reflection of the mysterious, the wonder, the beyond words . As the world begins to approach an old soul paradigm in a few hundred year or so...how would art change. would it still be necessary in the ways we know it? as more PEOPLE become the reflection of that WONDER that art encapsulated, what place will ART have in that world? [MEntity] Though this varies among Old Soul worlds, Art escalates in range and importance among all of them. It is often no longer confined to a specific range of media or obvious creativity, but comes to include the entire life of an individual, how he or she creates his or her day, etc. This is already being glanced at in your current paradigm, though colored heavily by Young Soul filters. [MEntity] "Reality TV" is, at its heart, a glimpse of Old Soul Art. [MEntity] Becoming a celebrity only because one has become a celebrity is also a distorted form of Old Soul Art. [MEntity] These things may be repulsive to older souls as they are being presented now, but these hint at an undercurrent of acknowledgement of the LIFE as ART. [MEntity] In many Old Soul worlds, Art is entirely experiential and temporal. Exhibitions are sunsets that can never been seen again, or gatherings where spontaneous suggestions are matched up with random individuals who must then perform, create, or do the suggestion, even if it is well outside of their talents. [MEntity] This leads to great rounds of humor and levity that is often at the core of Old Soul arts. [MEntity] Interactivity is highly important to the Old Soul world of art, as well. For example, one installation we know of is something like a steep hill of xylophone-like panels that are carefully arranged in ways that an individual could dance down this hill in any number of ways to create his or her song of spontaneity. [MEntity] Collaborative art is highly important to the Old Soul world of art, as well. In many probabilities, holographic-like galleries are "online" for contributors to create projects that can be altered by anyone from anywhere. No walk through that gallery is met with the same version of the art. [MEntity] Interactivity, Collaboration, Temporal/Amorphous, and spontaneous are key traits for Old Soul arts, though we caution against presuming these traits are definitive. There is more we can say to this subject. [Maureen] I just realized that my question may tie in (indirectly) with Royce’s question. [Maureen] "The "rise of the selfie" is pretty well accepted now as a big part of our culture, but I can see the “darker side” of it representing a self absorption and self-indulgence that seems "boundless" some days, especially on facebook where some choose very little actual dialogue and over-posting is like an epidemic. It's a one way blast of "me-ness"." [Maureen] Do you see that so much “self-interest” is related to 1) incomplete 4th Internal Monads, 2) the average Soul Age being Mature (including manifested Soul Age as well), 3) narcissism, 4) pure, unfettered self expression, or 5) all of the above, 6) something else? Any comment on this would be appreciated as I would really like to understand this phenomenon. [MEntity] At no other time in your history has there been such a shared space of celebration of the self. This is a transitional state between Young and Mature. It is beautiful to us. There was a time when it was sinful, shameful, and even evil to look in a mirror, as well as dangerous to be photographed. There was a time when disowning the self in disgust was Holy. Now you are in a time when the mundane is being celebrated. The self is being allowed to be seen, not just in terms of how others see that self, but in terms of how that self wishes to be seen. [MEntity] Yes, there is a clamoring of noise in this celebration, but that is the nature of celebration. [MEntity] You are in a time of liberation, which often comes before freedom. True Freedom. Liberation is the relief that comes with surges of noise while still anchored in some restrictions or extremes, often with great displays for the external world, while True Freedom is owned, experienced, and known, often in quiet, internal ways. [MEntity] It is beautiful to us because it is a step in the direction of acknowledging that you are important, that the mundane is important, that a moment is important, that context exists beyond preordained contexts. [MEntity] Our Species has long been subject to the notion that only the next world is important, or that *things* are important, or that only that which is deemed important is important, and those things are important, but not at the expense of the singular joy in sharing, of expressing, of being, of capturing a moment of mundanity. [MEntity] The species knows that privacy is a concept of the Young Paradigm, and that a Mature and Old Paradigm must embrace a lack of privacy in a healthy way for evolution to continue. [MEntity] Willingly offering up yourself in the most mundane of ways may seem to be a bumbling or chaotic, self-absorbed step, but it is a step in the direction of evolution. If the emphasis were to remain only on privacy and protection, then true invasion is much more likely. But in the same way that hackers teach systems better how to manage its delicate systems, so does constant exposure help the species to learn better how to manage its delicate identities. [Maureen] If Liberation is the "negative" pole and Freedom is the "positive" pole -- what are they the poles of? [MEntity] Among your options for describing the motivations of those contributing to the visual cacophony of "selfies" and other related sharing, we can say that "all of the above" would naturally be included because those motivations are reflective of the various fragments and Personalities among you. [MEntity] In response to the last question, it could be said to be the poles at either end of whatever was being oppressed: innocence, power, sexuality, etc. [Maureen] Thanks Michael. That was an interesting answer. [MEntity] When any of these oppressed states are liberated, there is "noise" that then moves into a more peaceful state.
