    The Conditions to Shine

Written on July 2015: After reading a bit about how to shine as essence, conditions must come together, as described by the personality dynamics of each axis, I wanted to write a little something on it. For a Server to Shine, she must have a refined awareness of the others feelings, and stay calm in the face of any crisis, boiling down to what is most needed to effectively serve. When not shining, the Server inhibits herself to invisibility, resigns to the scenario and doesn't feel alive in her nurturing. For an Artisan to Shine, the form wished to be created must be brought in consciously and intently, so he asks the questions that must be determined to bring it and chooses with calculation what is best for it. When not shining, the Artisan falls into phobic paranoia, concludes what is not to be trusted and rejects outright reality, or having too much, because he doesn't deserve/want it. For a Warrior to Shine, undying loyalty, an opposing force and a direction through which he will submerge in and devote himself must be required. When not shining, the Warrior lets few into the life, opposes for the sake of feeling a challenge and gives his energy totally to the cause. For a Scholar to Shine, she must live, rather than watch her experience, and stay adaptable and open, using what's been learned as a way to further learn. When not shining, the Scholar watches herself experience, continues to do what simply isn't working and feels she is stuck, apathetic and struggling. For a Sage to Shine, she must feel present by being who she is, always communicating what and how to improve and sharing her acceptance with others. When not shining, the Sage is overbearing, obnoxious, or a know it all, does not take any steps to improve and ingratiates herself to the audience's wishes, or the audience to her own wishes. For a Priest to Shine, it must feel that he's creating a meaningful, significant experience, seeing the truly possible and encouraging growth. When not shining, the Priest loses himself in the experience totally, blindly enforces the truth and lives life overwhelmed by how much things (must) matter. For a King to Shine, he must use his energy in his pursuits purposefully, initiating new directions to move in, and being objective about what he experiences. When not shining, the King forges ahead without concern for or support from others or even the self and sees only from personal bias.
  2. This material originated with the March 2010 Michael Speaks. Special thanks to BrianW for posting his copy of the session or the content would have been lost. Although this session suggests that the missing content will be added, this has not yet been done. The roles covered in this session are those that were represented by session attendees. MEntity: Hello to all of you. We are here. We will begin with a discussion on the topic requested. Before doing so, we would like to point out that while it may seem to be the case, it is actually impossible to misrepresent, misunderstand, or misapply our teaching. When we say "impossible," we speak in relative terms that describe the fact of so many nuances and dynamics that go into representation, understanding, and applying our teaching. Our teaching cannot be misrepresented because it is either represented, or it is not. Beyond that, it cannot be misrepresented because if the student is not discerning and questioning beyond the representation, then he or she is not learning anyway. Our teaching cannot be misunderstood because this implies that there is a standard method and means for understanding. The only time this teaching is "misunderstood" is if one standard is held up against another. You will understand this teaching as you understand it. However, we will add to that statement that your understanding is never complete, and to presume that it is would be the end of learning. Our teaching cannot be misapplied, as again, this would imply a neat standard that describes how it "should" be applied. Even when our teaching is used as a platform for justifying behaviors, or to seek a sense of specialness, it is being applied on your terms, and those are the only terms we encourage. However, we would add to that statement that your terms are never fully understood, and to presume that your terms are static is to halt growth. When we say "halt growth" and "the end of learning," we mean these as temporary conditions of the Personality, and not permanent on any meaningful level for Essence. Though Troy's introduction was not intended to provoke this clarification from us, we do think it important to distinguish our channels' opinions from our own. That being said, there is validity to the fact that there is little recorded from us through our channels about the distinctions among the Roles in how they manifest through the Soul Ages, and we can address that today. We must point out, though, that anything we describe about any aspect of our teaching will, by necessity, be "generalized," as there is simply no way to describe ALL Old Sages, for instance. Numerous factors go into the manifestation of a Personality and Essence within a lifetime. Our Teachings can best be understood in both CONTEXTUAL and HOLISTIC terms. Contextual in that each phrase, term, or polarity is distinct within a specific context, and that context is an entity in itself, so to speak. Holistic in that this is a system that works dynamically, "organically," and when understood as a system, comes to life in a way that cannot be fully understood in its parts. For instance, if one were to be described or dismissed as being only a Kidney, it would not capture the full humanity of that individual, but to understand the functioning and purpose of the Kidney is vital on its own. Furthermore, lacking comprehension of the full humanity of that individual leaves one lacking understanding in how that particular Kidney actually functions for that particular person. We say all of this to you before delving into the topic at hand because what we will describe today, for the most part, is CONTEXTUAL. Within the time limits, we will cover Mature and Old Soul contexts for each Role, but will complete the subject with Troy so that Infant, Baby, and Young are included in exploring each Role. Each of the Roles through the Soul Ages could best be understood as manifesting more and more Essence through the Personalities that are created. Essence Manifestation can and does happen within all Soul Ages, but the degrees to which that manifestation occurs does grow. What we will describe today are what those degrees might look like for the Mature and Old Roles, in both positive and negative ways. Keep in mind that regardless of your technical Soul Age, you may be manifesting younger Soul Ages at various points within the life, or for the entire lifetime. For the most part, manifestation of various soul ages is proportional to the various contexts of your life, so that if you work within a Young Soul environment, you may call upon the Young Soul aspects of your Essence, and in Intimate circles, you may call on more of your actual Soul Age. "Manifesting Soul Age" is not static, and is not a description of limitations. It is simply a description of emphasis and resource for the lifetime, a relationship, a career, project, etc. What we describe today is a Role manifesting its actual Soul Age. Because of Personality, this may show up wildly different among that Roles "in the world," so what we describe may only be obvious to you privately. The progression through the Soul Ages for the Roles could be described as a progression of emphasis from DOING to HAVING to BEING. Infant and Baby emphasize DOING. Young emphasizes HAVING. Mature emphasizes the reconciliation between HAVING and BEING. And Old emphasizes BEING. Understanding this can help lend insights into the various Soul Ages and how the Roles manifest. Now we will walk through the Roles as they might be understood in Mature and Old Soul contexts. MATURE SERVERS Mature Servers tend to find themselves struggling with the reconciliation of Having Recognition, and Being Helpful. Over the course of the Young Soul Age, it finally occurs to the Server on a profound level that it is okay to be recognized, praised, rewarded, and that a reciprocating circuit of energy is vital to sustaining Service. Service is not a one-way circuit. One cannot serve where it is not received, and one cannot continue to serve without some form of exchange of nurturing at the very least. For many lifetimes previous to the Young Soul Age, this nurturing is either neglected until it cannot be any longer, or it is found in breaks between Serving. The Young Server then tends to use that entire Age to "catch up" on self-service to the extent that it can. In the Mature Age, then, the reconciliation begins between having that necessity of exchange in nurturing, and the core Being that seeks to serve in meaningful ways. Mature Servers, then, tend to be extremely busy, pulled in many directions, internally and externally, while they struggle with issues of utter availability and ineffective over-extension. The eventual reconciliation comes when the Mature Server only offers service when it can. OLD SERVERS The Old Server now emphasizes Being, and in this case, Being Helpful. At the very core of the Server is the design to HELP. (An aside: At first, all design in the early Soul Ages is manifested as compulsion as the default design is relied upon, but eventually becomes impulsion as the capacity for conscious choice grows.) Old Servers often do not "serve" at all in the capacity that one would think of as serving. The Mature Soul is ACTIVE. The Old Soul is PASSIVE. In this case, the Old Server "passively" Helps. The Old Server then begins to use exemplification as his or her means of offering Help. The entire life, self, and Being become the manifestation of Essence in that the Old Server WILL NOT allow himself or herself to suffer. If help can be gained from that by another, then the Old Server may extend upon that, but it has learned that suffering is a useless experience and will refuse to Help at the expense of self, but will unconditionally Help those who are willing to give up suffering. That may sound conditional, but it is not. It is simply a hard lesson learned that those who suffer most often choose not to be helped in any meaningful way. We define "suffer" here as that state of intellectual and emotional overwroughtness that leaves no room for solutions. Those who suffer in that way eventually learn that they are the only ones who can transform that experience, and all other influences are merely salves or addictions. The Old Server does not cater to that endless dynamic. MATURE ARTISANS The Mature Artisan has just come from an Age where it experienced being able to create and have everything it could possibly imagine within the constraints of resources at the time. The Mature Artisan now enters into an Age that must reconcile Having What It Wants and Being Who It Needs. Previous to this Soul Age, simply wanting something was often enough to have it, because it could either be created, or it could be discovered, and most of what was wanted was tangible and all "new" to the Artisan. In the Mature Soul Age, nothing tangible is "new" anymore, and what is most wanted is often intangible. This causes a struggle for the Mature Artisan so that cravings can often show up as a distraction with "things" as a means to compensate for the intangible, or as rejection of "things" as a means to hold out for the intangible. Mature Artisans can often find themselves in desperate relationships, devastating patterns of collapse and destruction, and manipulative methods for finding ways to be special. More than any other Role, this Role, in general, struggles with the inner battle between Specialness and Uniqueness. What the Mature Artisans eventually realize is that it is THEY whom they crave, desire, and want more than anything "in the world." Therein lies the reconciliation between Having and Being for the Mature Artisan. Artisans tend to develop patterns that leave them functioning only as conduits, often feeling as if "they" are left out, or left behind. During the Mature Soul Age, it is the first time in a long time that they "come home to themselves." And recognize their vital part in the equation of their desires and wants. Until that realization has been comprehended, there will be many instances where the Mature Artisan develops symbiotic relationships that continue to enforce the loss, or blurring, of self with environment or another. OLD ARTISANS The Old Artisan is often no longer concerned with creating tangible things, but struggles to make the entire life the creation, the work of art. Everything around the Old Artisan becomes symbolic and every symbol has meaning in relation to the self. The Old Artisan, then, is often tireless in the effort to showcase the life, the Personality, and even the relationships as symbolic extensions of the Soul. They become extremely sensitive to any deviation or distraction from their own symbology, and can often find themselves bewildered, hurting, and profoundly confused by these things. They develop systems of symbology that work, but often do not realize that these are not always the same symbols or meanings that others will tend to use. Eventually the Old Artisan realizes that there are a multitude of symbols and meanings for symbols that cannot be truly standardized, and this is when the Artisan is finally free. In conclusion for the Old Artisan, if the freedom is not found through the realization of various symbolic systems, then that Artisan may find he or she begins to tunnel-vision into a closed network that only supports his or her system of symbols, and anything beyond that is either a threat, or is ignored. Due to time constraints, we will do our best to streamline the details for each of the following Roles, and Troy will "flesh it out" for the final transcript. We will address Old Warrior, Old Scholar, Old Sage, and Old Priest now. We will include the rest in the final transcript. OLD WARRIORS The Old Warrior has now moved through the Mature Age that helped to reconcile the struggle between HAVING AMBITION and BEING SAFE. During the Mature Age, both of those terms become profoundly redefined so that "ambition" becomes "enthusiasm" and "safe" becomes "loved." The Old Warrior then begins to naturally generate enthusiasm over emphasis on accomplishment and ambition, and begins to persuade circles of love from the self and from others as opposed to circles of protection and safety. Protection is no longer seen in terms of defense against physical threats, but as a transformation of strengths through the capacity to love. This may go counter to what is often understood as a Warrior, but the Old Warrior is done fighting, and seeks to share what it has found to be the most bountiful resource and strength in the universe: Love. Of course, this can show up in many different ways and to several different degrees, but when the Old Warrior is manifested, it has a profound sense of safety in the world and seeks to extend that validity to others. If the Old Warrior has not comprehended that sense of safety, he or she will often show up as emphasizing warnings, concerns, preemptive strategies, and constant over-anticipation. OLD SCHOLARS The Old Scholar has now moved through the Mature Age that helped to reconcile the struggle between HAVING EXPERIENCE and BEING INTIMATE. During the Mature Age, the reconciliation between Experience and Intimacy is a long, often painful, road for the Scholar. Much of what is considered necessary by the Scholar for Experience is to have as "clean" an experience as possible, which often means leaving others out of the inner world that processes these experiences. QUESTION: Could you define intimacy in the sense of your meaning? MEntity: Intimacy here is meant as any form of Resonance, from sharing common ground to sex. The key being that it is INCLUSIVE, in that what is shared is not only mutual, but experienced as mutual. More than any other Role, the Scholar struggles with issues of Intimacy, of feeling connected to others, of finding common ground, and of feeling embraced. The Old Scholar has realized that Experience and Intimacy are not mutually exclusive, but Intimacy has been put off for so long for the sake of experiments, exploration, etc., that the world of Intimacy as an Old Soul is entirely new for the most part. Because the nature of the Scholar is to observe objectively, then this search for Intimacy may often be approached from the angle of provision, in that IF it exists, then it must be something provided for the Scholar, and not something he or she must work to generate from the self. Intimacy is such an amorphous concept to the Scholar that in the Old Soul Age, it will either feign intimacy as a means to have any kind of human contact at all, often leaving it to others to sort out the details, or to nurture that intimacy, or it will finally realize that he or she IS the source of intimacy, and begin to develop this from "the inside, out." The issue for the Scholar is often that if it is not found externally, then it is not a valid Experience, and therefore is not to be trusted. Ironically, anything that is already deemed as so amorphous that it cannot be trusted when generated within will also be deemed suspicious when generated from others. Therefore, the key for the Old Scholar in his or her embrace of Being Intimate is to begin comprehending TRUST. Trust is a mix of anticipated results and past experiences. It is not blind, and therefore it can be used by the Scholar. When the Old Scholar begins to recognize his or her embrace of himself, he or she can then begin to embrace others. If the embrace of others is attempted before the embrace of self, then there will always be an equation that returns the Scholar back to the beginning. They are highly mathematical that way. Trust comes in as the gathering of experience grows to show the Scholar that he or she will not die because he or she reached out, and that one is not alone just because one might actually like oneself. In short, the validity of Being for the Scholar cannot be proven through others, but the validity of others can be proven through the embrace of Being. OLD SAGES The Old Sage has now moved through the Mature Age that helped to reconcile the struggle between HAVING FUN and BEING HONEST. Now the Old Sage begins to emphasize Being Honest, even if it means at the expense of Fun. Old Sages often begin to withdraw from the "stage" and move into tighter circles that value honesty and true communication. It is no longer appealing in any way to simply perform the life. For the first time, the Old Sage values the importance of truly being SEEN. Even if there are a myriad of personas from habit and skill, the emphasis will still be there underlying every relationship and every opportunity: PLEASE SEE ME. This starts out as a kind of panic for some Sages entering the Old Soul Age, in that their existence depends on the utter honesty and rawness of being SEEN, and this can show up in desperate attempts to be understood, clarifying themselves, over-explaining, etc. This eventually levels out to a simple state of invitation. The emphasis moves from needing to be seen exactly how the Sage sees himself or herself to an emphasis on understanding how others actually see. This comprehension frees the Old Sage from the panic and loneliness of not being seen, and moves him or her into simply BEING HONEST. Once the Sage realizes that he or she cannot control how others interpret others, then Being Honest stands as an invitation, not as a prompt. QUESTION: How much of this "role in essence" material applies to casting? MEntity: All of what we have described can be extrapolated to apply to understanding Casting and Imprinting, in terms of Roles. INTERJECTION: I've never thought of Imprinting being a co-equal on use of role descriptors MEntity: For many who live as the Role that most influenced them, it can be helpful for freeing the self by transforming the dynamic that keeps the imprinting locked in place. Imprinting will always supercede Role and Casting, as Personality has the most control and influence while Physical. We should say, Imprinting will always supercede Role, Casting, and Overleaves. INTERJECTION: So, that's why it's especially important to figure out one's parents' profiles :) MEntity: Not necessarily. What would be more important is honest self-examination to determine just how conflicted one is within himself or herself. When Imprinting is useful, there is no conflict. When Imprinting is harmful, there is often pain ranging from apathy to tremendous turmoil. Harmful Imprinting ALWAYS shows up as the reprimanding voice that undermines your efforts. ALWAYS. Harmful Imprinting ALWAYS shows up as any conclusive voice within that divides you and defeats you. Your inherent nature, when free from harmful Imprinting, is truthful, loving, and energetic. When weighed with harmful Imprinting, you become divided with a dishonest, shameful, and undermining force against that inherent nature. However, it must be understood that Imprinting is NEVER PERMANENT and can be shed at any moment. If one struggles for any length of time with that Imprinting that is harmful, then some part of the self finds some value in it. We define "harmful Imprinting" as any Imprinting that has been kept beyond the 3rd Internal Monad that does not serve the Personality and Essence in any helpful way. QUESTION: why and how is it that a personality tends to manifest more essence as it progresses through the soul ages? QUESTION: still don't understand this... QUESTION is personality designed that way by essence? MEntity: The progression of Soul Ages is our way of describing a regaining of consciousness that allows for bridging between the Essence and Personality. That regaining of consciousness is done through experience. Therefore, in early lifetimes that have less experience, then it goes that less consciousness is involved, and thus less manifestation of Essence. Even the Oldest of Souls must regain consciousness within a single lifetime, yet that regaining of consciousness is accelerated because of the sheer weight of experience previous to that lifetime. It is not that manifestation of Essence does not happen within earlier lifetimes, but that the manifestation is specific to the degree of consciousness, relative to the degree of experience. So an Infant Soul can manifest Essence fully into the lifetime, but most of that manifestation would still be within the contexts (or degrees) of Survival. When an Old Soul is born into a body, that infant body is going to drool and wail and poop itself as it focuses on surviving. To that degree, that Personality's consciousness can manifest Essence. As that body grows, so does its capacity for consciousness. In that same way, the ROLE grows for ESSENCE. The Role and Essence are two different things. Therefore, the "body" that is the Role must grow over lifetimes as a means to manifest more of its Essence.

    2007 Overleaves

2007 OVERLEAVES Here is our perspective of the energy for the time period of your new year 2007 in terms of "Overleaves." Though energies shift, change, and adapt all year, there is a general energy that can be said to affect the calendar year, at least in terms of your shared reality. Our Overleaves system can be used to describe any collection of energies, ranging from the dynamics of the actual Personality to the general “mood” of a room, society, fictional character, theme of groups, or a planet’s general atmosphere of consciousness. In addition to this, when a block of time is selected, that time frame can be translated into a description of energies based on what we perceive as the momentum of events, consciousness, and choices that will POTENTIALLY contribute to that period of time. The Overleaves for a year, then, are our interpretation of those events, consciousness, and choices as we see that they are most likely to be brought to bear in your world. The more participating one is in “the world,” the more likely these energies will be of concern, though one’s inactivity does not exempt one from world or local energies, anymore than staying inside can take away the fact of a rainstorm. The rainstorm outside can have as much an effect on one inside as on one who is outside, depending on personal interpretations and experiences of that rainstorm. The very basic energy, or basic context, of a year can be described in two Overleaves: the Role and the Center. These two basic energies are those that can contribute to your year feeling "comfortable" or "challenged" during the year unfolding, depending on your own Overleaves and your method of participation in "the world." These two energies are most obvious in the first three months of a year, but their effects will remain steady throughout the year. In addition to these basic energies, the GOAL of the year will become implemented in those first three months, approximately. It can be said that ALL of the Overleaves we use to describe the year are in effect ALL year, but the particular frames of time described below are the "seasonal" emphasis of those particular Overleaf qualities. General “Seasonal” Energy emphasis: The ENTIRE YEAR is based within the energies of the ROLE and CENTERING. January through March implements and emphasizes the GOAL. April through June implements and emphasizes the MODE. July through September implements and emphasizes the ATTITUDE. October through December implements and emphasizes the CHIEF FEATURE. With all of that being explained, we would describe the highest probable energy for the year 2007 with these Overleaves: 2007 OVERLEAVES ROLE: Warrior CENTERING: Higher Intellectual PART OF CENTER: n/a GOAL: Dominance MODE: Observation ATTITUDE: Realist CHIEF FEATURES: Stubbornness While we do not, and cannot, "predict", we can share with you what these energies may mean for you in the year ahead, but first, we will look at the previous year as a means to help put the current year into perspective. Last year started and ended within the context of Emotional energies, following the Higher Emotional energies of 2005. In years described as Higher in Centering, there are events that show up as fairly global in impact and shock, while in years of Lower Centering, the emphasis is usually cumulative and local. With the impact of the Indian Ocean Tsunami at the near-beginning of 2005 and Hurricane Katrina later in 2005, the year of 2006 may have seemed fairly quiet. In any year with Higher-Center emphasis, the impact is usually of a global nature, and any Emotional-oriented year tends to manifest itself literally and symbolically through the element of Water. One can see that 2005 was water-oriented in terms of global impact; however, 2006 was Emotionally-centered, yet there were fairly few water-related disasters, or disasters, in general. We would say in response to this observation that the additional Emotional year of 2006 that followed the previous two years of emotional energy (following the Emotional Centering of 2004, the Higher Emotional Centering of 2005) was actually an attempt at respite for grounding the emotions back into something bearable again. In other words, if one were to look at last year’s Centering, we described it as Emotionally Centered, Intellectual Part. As there was a general, collective interest in healing emotional wounds from the past, this could only be done through the grounding provided by the addition of Moving energy. Bringing in Moving energy helped bridge the Emotions and Intellect. For instance, movies began to be released in 2006 as expressions of this grounding, depicting the most devastating disasters of the most recent years in ways that helped many come to terms with, explore, or face their feelings. This is a very simple example of the Moving part expressing itself as a form of healing the rift between Intellect and Emotion. With this undercurrent of Moving Energy, the common denominator among most accidents and disasters throughout 2006 was actually GRAVITY-related or GROUND-related. Mining disasters; collapses of buildings; dropping, or misguiding, of airplanes; ground wars; etc. were the more local, cumulative effects of 2006. In your personal world, the emotional energy of 2006 may have manifested in literal leakages, plumbing issues, small floods, and even random, emotional breakdowns that led to tears, though you may have also brought in the balance of Moving Energy through physical ailments, physical accidents, falling down, collisions, etc., anything that brought your attention to the processes of the Body in relation to your Emotions and Intellect. However it manifested for you in 2006, the point was to bring to the surface the emotions relating to the past as a means to help make room for your future. Now we will look at the basic energies that appear to be unfolding for 2007: With the context of WARRIOR being emphasized this year, order, structure, police forces, protection, loyalty, judicial systems, politics, home, and family will most likely be highlighted throughout the year. For the most part, we see a strong momentum for a major, global debate with one side emphasizing tradition and the other side emphasizing progression, in varying contexts. What has come to be passively accepted as a basic structure of society in many areas of the world will most likely find an emphasis on a complete revamping of that structure, with conflict arising between those who wish against any change (or, at least, a return to past traditions), and those who wish to support an evolution and update to accommodate the necessity of empathy in a Mature world. While this could be said to have been going on in the world for a long time, we merely point out that 2007 will find this to be a stronger emphasis than usual on settling the debate. Because this is an Ordinal Role year, the impact of this debate will most likely permeate even the most passive of homes, bringing up personal issues of structure, order, loyalty, and politics within the individual home and family. Many issues that may have been hidden, repressed, or tolerated will now find themselves brightly highlighting the home and requiring a creative solution for all to find peace. As this is a Warrior year, we also see a strong emphasis on self-help, personal development, and relationship improvements. Anything that stands in the way of loyalty within or without will most likely be brought out for examination. We also see a return to physical objects over intangible objects, such as a need to hold books and newspapers as a means for gathering knowledge, rather than just through the internet. In light of that, we have seen a new line of electronic products to be released that emphasizes this very tangibility, giving retrospective designs to more intimate electronics so as to return a sense of touch. With the Warrior energy of the year being highlighted, we can also state that this year would be, in general, a year of TOUCH, bringing a sense of importance to texture, environment, and human interactivity in ways that may have been missing for some time. The Warrior energy will also bring about a prominence of attention for those deemed to be “underdogs,” or in need of strong support. We believe this will be most apparent in the continued announcements of those who wish to make a difference in the political and social circles affecting large populations. Underdogs who would normally have no chance in politics will now have a chance to generate strong support for elections to come. On the less-comfortable side of all of this, weaponry will also be highlighted throughout 2007, with announcements revealing warring tools that might be deemed “terrifying.” Gun use, gun abuse, and gun accidents may also find a strong rise in numbers over 2007. Those who work in fields of politics, order, justice, authority, guidance, will most likely find PERSUASION to be of utmost importance, which is an emphasis on encouraging others to CHOOSE to do what is best for them, rather than push them, bully them, or scare them into doing what has been deemed as “best.” We believe a strong shift in politics and media will have communication geared toward the encouragement of intelligence of individual choice, rather than as pre-packaged concepts and perceptions expected to be consumed without question. On the more restrictive side of the Warrior energy for the year, some may express this as COERCION, which is a forcing of direction upon another, and this will most likely not be met with passivity. 2007 brings a shift toward a feeling of motivation, purpose, meaning as a result of the Warrior energy, so we suspect that this will bring up a great deal of exciting prospects for most of our students, though some of you may simply interpret this supportive energy as a “slam” against you, emphasizing your failures and distance from your intended goals. However you experience this wave of energy for the year, it will do you well to remember that how you experience this is YOUR interpretation, as the energy is neutral. You are not trapped by your interpretations. As usual, it is not uncommon for the Role of the year to also bring to the media those who have strong Overleaves or Role that is resonant to that energy. As this is a Warrior year, it will not be surprising to have a great deal of Warriors brought into the media’s light, with varying reasons, along with a higher proportion of Warriors exiting the planet over the year. In addition to this, it will not be surprising to find yourself in contact with more Warriors or in more intimate contact with Warriors in your personal life. The year ahead is centered in the HIGHER INTELLECTUAL, which is an emphasis on higher inspiration and TRUTH. As we have stated before, a year that emphasizes a higher center is a year that tends toward global impact of events, disasters, revelations, shifts, etc. This will most likely be another of those years with a startling focus on exposure, the “truth,” and deep, personal meaning behind the force of Choice, individually and collectively. Another angle of exploration regarding this energy would be through the highlighting of TELEPATHY. In this case, telepathy may be as simple as the word implies, with the paranormal capabilities of humans being showcased in some way, or it may have varying meaning, such as surprising cross-species communications and revelations. For those who wish to remain locked in tradition and familiarity (as mentioned earlier), the Higher Intellectual energy may be quite uncomfortable to process, as it will be very difficult to reconcile refusing to change after knowing “the truth.” With a strong focus on the importance of Truth, this year may bring a great deal of tears, as tears are the biological reaction to the acceptance of Truth. It may help you to remember that your seemingly unwarranted tears may actually be a higher function of embrace as the year unfolds. DOMINANCE will be the underlying theme of emphasis this year, and especially over the first few months of your year. Most fragments seem to be experiencing this as a “soft determination” for making much-needed changes in the life. We state “soft determination” because we can also see that many of you are quite exhausted, uninspired, and this determination will require some patience and time to fully find its footing. As January passes, most of you will probably find that footing and begin to sense a renewed control over your choices, your feelings, and your futures. In the world, this energy will most likely show up as prominent personalities taking very powerful and deliberate stances in the media as a means to implement some form of transformational change. Of course, there will be those who do this through genuine leadership, and those who simply stand as dictators, wishing to impose their force. Not only does this have a strong possibility of standing out in your media, but in your personal life, as well. As you open to the changes you wish to implement in your life, you will either find yourself embodying Dominance, or attracting another person to help guide you through those changes. It will be up to you to discern whether you have turned to a dictatorial version of yourself, or a dictatorial person, as a form of guidance. If you find yourself in that position, it will do you will to return yourself to a state of “soft determination,” bringing a gentleness, silence, and patience to the motivation for change. With WARRIOR, HIGHER INTELLECTUAL, and DOMINANCE being the most emphasized energy in these first few months, we would suggest two specific approaches to help you benefit from that energy: ONE: EMBRACE CHANGE. This appears to be another pivotal year in terms of directions for personal lives, societies, and countries. It is not a time of peace or rest, but a time of shifting and evolution. This energy can be experienced as turbulent, or exciting, but it is as natural and as neutral as the collective growth of your own body. It is not an imposition, but it is natural. Those who embrace change tend toward adaptability and improved maturity of intelligence and emotions, while those who refuse change, or find it to be an imposition, tend to retreat into regressive positions of intelligence and feelings. While both choices are valid, it can do wonders for the individual living within a world of change to actively participate in those changes. TWO: DO WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO. In a year that emphasizes truth, change, leadership, and inspiration, it will help your position within your life, your community, and your world to actually DO what you intended to do. Follow through. Make a plan. Set up a chart for progress. Get started. Do just that ONE thing that you’ve always put off. The fulfillment within the progress of that active participation in your life will greatly increase your sense of adaptability to change, since you will be gently leading your choices in directions you wish to create, rather than merely rolling with the shifts that may appear to be happening around you. In light of all of this energy to start the year, it may be helpful to think of CHANGE and DOING and TRUTH as ingredients of PEACE. To the extent that one, or all, can adapt, do what is wanted to be done, and evolve to embrace higher truths, is the extent to which a world has the capacity for true peace. Happy New Year. -Michael

    Warriors and Action

[Excerpt from Energy Report: January 2018] MEntity: Warriors are all about taking care of themselves and their loved ones through Action. It is not enough to give lip-service, promise, or wax philosophical. Warriors have to DO something and they expect you to do something, too, at least eventually. They know better than any other Role that things do not “just happen.” You have to participate. Warriors have a Positive Pole of Persuasion and a Negative Pole of Coercion. Warriors can be relentless in their push for you to take care of yourself and your life, to understand why and how. When Warriors push for you to act without your understanding why or how, they are in Coercion. When Warriors push for you to act, but help you or allow you to understand why and how, they are in Persuasion. Coercion pushes people to act without understanding. Persuasion pushes people to act with understanding.

    Warriors and Warfare

[Extracted from: Warriors and Warfare] GeraldineB: ... I'm grappling with the concept of Warriors and warfare. In cultures that do not have organized warfare, i.e., standing armies, what role does the "role of Warrior" play? I would like a brief overview of the expansion of warfare in human history. Expansion from inter-tribal conflicts or refugee movements due to crop failures or climate changes, etc., to outright "empire-building," such as was exhibited by Alexander "the Great." MEntity: First, our choice of the term "Warrior" was chosen from how we learned the term, rather than how the term has come to be fractured. Much like "Slave," the "Warrior" is often mistaken for its cultural and historic stereotype, which is a fraction of the range that is the Role. This is true of all of the Roles, of course, to some extent. Warrior, in our system, refers to those who, at their core, can rally for a cause, bring energy to a direction, encourage loyalty and compassion, invoke courage as a platform for change, etc. All of this can be used in war, but that is not the goal of the Warrior. It just happens that war requires this same kind of energy and loyalty to a cause. So in a culture where there is no war or standing armies, there are always causes, loyalties, need for protection, encouragement of courage, strength, anchoring, grounding, etc, that are needed and provided. GeraldineB: thank you for the clarification MEntity: Warriors, ironically, are often of the most passive and peaceful of Roles, but will burst forth without question or concern if there is necessity for protection, loyalty to an accepted cause, or defense of an underdog. In earlier Soul Ages, the Warrior is much easier to provoke in this regard, and therefore has come to be synonymous with fighting and warring, but it is the Priests who often exploited this in the Warriors. Most wars are are generated by the invocations of Priests. GeraldineB: ISIS . . .shit, I hadn't thought of that MEntity: In earlier Soul Ages, the Priest Roles are regarded as rather superior in access to vision and long-term causes, so the younger Soul Ages will leave the instruction up to the Priests to give. This is one of the reasons there is an inherent distrust between many Warriors and Priests as the Mature Soul Age comes around for them, and these Roles will often keep each other at a distance. Though that distance is kept in place as often as possible, the Karma generated between these Roles compels them to find one another and burn the Ribbons.

    Core Values of Warrior

[This material was originally posted by NickG as a private session transcript on May 18, 2016. Permission was granted for placement in the Study Library.] Nicholas33: Hello to you too Michael. When we had the session on manifesting essence you stated something along the lines of the role having core values as a foundation to build upon. You gave me some examples for the Sage but I was wondering if I can have the core values of the other roles as well. MEntity: Yes ... WARRIORS - Influence, Action, Responsibility, Results, Rebellion, Consideration, and being living examples of Triumph. ... Keep in mind that these Core Values will be upheld in some way, even if they are upheld in desperate and unhealthy ways. These can be upheld in ways that serve only the self, serve only others, or serve a balance between the two. ### end of transcript ### Note: You may comment on the original post. 7. [Excerpt from: Ask Michael: TLEGG Live Channeling] Daniela: You have said that, "Scholars within any Entity or Cadre tend to act as record keepers and act as the responsible party for updating the Akashic Records involving events within and throughout the Entity and/or Cadre." Regarding Priests you have said that, during the disclosure and merging process on Astral Level 5, they are the "fragments who run these meetings, and help to direct the healing." So, if Scholars function as information processing units and Priests as facilitators and counselors, what functions do Servers, Artisans, Warriors, Sages, and Kings perform for their Entity/Cadre? MEntity: ... Warriors tend to be the bonding factors for a great many fragments across the Entities and Cadre. Warriors clear or help to clear the bullshit from all of the things that keep you from getting closer to each other, whether this is done in a persuasive way or a coercive way. But the work of the Warrior in the Physical Plane among its relationships in the life and between lives is part of what helps to allow for the Astral Plane reunion to happen in a way that is less chaotic than it would be otherwise. They are the glue for the Cadre.

    What Warriors WANT and NEED

[Extracted from: NYC Michael Speaks: Wants & Needs of Essence Roles] MEntity: We understand that Troy has asked for us to discuss what we might describe as the WANT and the NEED of each Essence Role, so we’ve looked at this in a way that we hope will be easy to validate for each of you and your Roles. ... Next we will speak to Warriors: The WANT of the Warrior, the conscious motivation and navigation, can be described as … we need one moment here … we were just assessing the differences in the terms that we might present here, and we will go with the word COMMITMENT, though we may change that word. We're not finding the exact word we're looking for in this channel at the moment. It could also be “loyalty” but that is further from what we are intending to say. So we will go with “commitment” at this point, that the conscious motivation, the WANTS of a Warrior, tend to lean toward COMMITMENT. There tends to be full on commitment by the Warrior: commitment to a person, commitment to a cause, commitment to responsibilities. This want is not just in terms of their personal navigation, but in terms of what is expected of others as well: that commitment to be reciprocated, mutual commitment. If someone has a term that describes mutual commitment to help us get that through more succinctly, you are free to speak up. But we will describe it as mutual commitment. This is vital to the Warrior in terms of Wants for the navigation of the life. They will move in directions where there are those mutual commitments capable of being fulfilled. What the Warrior NEEDS, and will tend to subconsciously navigate toward, is HUMILITY. Warriors, more so than any other roles, tend to fall into positions of self-questioning regarding the level of commitment that is being experienced in their navigation of the world. Humility is that experience that puts them into a position to assess more accurately what they were expecting, what they were anticipating, what they were strategizing for, what they were looking for. So what they WANT is MUTUAL COMMITMENT and what they NEED is HUMILITY. We're using that word quite specifically because the Warrior whose expectations are failed or found to be in need of adjustment can often experience this as a result of overshooting or undershooting in terms of mutual commitments. When they find themselves in that position that humility is being explored and fulfilled, they are much more likely to communicate more clearly what was expected, more clearly what it was that they wanted, much more clearly what it is that they would like to bring to that relationship of commitment. So humility puts them back into a position of necessity to speak up about, or to clarify, their definitions of mutual commitment. [Question] Would “support” be a word that could be used? MEntity: In place of what? Mutual Commitment? [Comment] Mutual Commitment I guess. MEntity: We would still have to say “mutual support” then. [Comment] Cooperation? MEntity: That is a little too detached. There is a … [Question] What about submission? How is that different from commitment? MEntity: Submission, in terms of the Goal, is a search for something to be devoted to, to treat as a worthy cause towards which you turn yourself over to. So in terms of mutual commitment versus submission, there is much more of an expectation of reciprocation than when there is submission. Does this clarify? [Comment] Yes. MEntity: Again, if we are to use “devotion” we would still say “mutual devotion” so we will leave it at “mutual commitment” for now, although it could be “mutual” many different terms that indicate commitment, support, devotion. It's the mutuality that is key here. We feel we are missing a word, but we may not be. We may just be working through Troy's brain. Any questions or comments about the Warriors? Or from the Warriors? [Question] So is the Warrior needing to experience humility in another, or is it humility in himself or herself? MEntity: Again it goes in both directions. It depends. That humility may be something looked for in another or experienced from the self … more often than not in the self. But it is also a form of bonding if another expresses that or displays a form of humility to that Warrior. [Question] Can you please clarify Humility? MEntity: In this case, we are using that term to describe the need to own and clarify one's expectations and anticipations so that humility is felt when those are not met and the breaking down of that sense of mutual commitment comes into play. It's often because the Warrior forgot, or did not own, or did not communicate the expectations of that mutual commitment. So they fall into humility. In other words, they have to take responsibility for it. They learn to take responsibility for those expectations in terms of mutual commitment. [Comment] That sounds like being humbled and disappointed at the same time? MEntity: That is one way of describing it, yes.

    How Warriors Create

[Excerpt from Michael Speaks: May 2010] Nick: Is there a method that can be used to become more creative? MEntity: ... We believe understanding your Role in Essence is a good place to start. Each Role has a basic NEED to create and a default Creation. ... Kings [and Warriors] NEED to create ACTION, with Kings defaulting to creating Progression in the Positive Pole and Enforcement in the Negative; Warriors creating Cohesion in the Positive, while creating Protection in the Negative.

The 1 Input of the Scholar

[Extracted from Michael Speaks: Inputs] MEntity: ... First, we will define “INPUT” as a channel or frequency through which an Essence becomes aware, processes, and comprehends. ... 3 of the Roles in Essence have ONE INPUT; these are the Scholar, Warrior, and King Essences. ... The strange distribution of Inputs has to do with the Roles themselves acting as “sensory units,” so to speak, for Tao. Because the Physical Plane is of the most unique and densest of all Planes, three Roles in Essence are distributed with ONE INPUT so as to gain awareness, Process, and Comprehend FROM BEGINNING TO END in a linear fashion inherent to the Physical Plane. ... The Scholars (who are the memory cells of Tao in many ways) have ONE INPUT so as to maintain a direct link to the Akashic Records/Plane. Because Scholars are specifically designed as ambient, experiential “sponges”, this ONE INPUT allows them to act as excellent, direct, recording devices and conduits between the Physical Plane and the Akashic Plane. Although all fragments update their own records (usually having to be done between lives or through conscious awareness), Scholars do so for themselves, their Entity, and/or Cadre. Because Scholars, Warriors, and Kings are by nature inclined to focus on very specific themes for study, conquest, or mastery (respectively), having One Input allows them to excel in the Task at Hand (by standards of Essence.) With this understanding, it would not be amiss to say that ALL FRAGMENTS have at least One Input focused on NOW, or in other words, capable of being focused on the present, the task at hand, the moment, etc. The following information was appended to the original Michael Speaks transcript from which this material was extracted: MEntity: In general, Kings, Warriors, and Scholars, can "only" process one theme at a time, whether the Personality is submerged in several experiential themes or not. If needed, the focus of the Input can change for some lengths of time, but these Roles will not find the comfort and adaptability to be submerged in several themes at once. We are not speaking of their being capable of watching TV while sewing. We are speaking of actual life themes as they apply to Essence's digestion of them. Scholars, Warriors, and Kings move steadily and enduringly through their experiences until comprehension is attained. We say "comprehension" as it applies to ESSENCE, not necessarily Personality. Until the Older Soul Ages, Personality is not so concerned with comprehension simultaneously to Essence's comprehension. Question: This is a generic Michael question beyond just Inputs, but I'm wondering how Scholars keep "records" differently from other Roles. MEntity: Scholars not only manage their own Records, but as each Essence updates its own records within the Entity and Cadre, the Scholars update the Akashic Records. In other words, each Essence has its own "personal library", but the Scholar extends on that to make that information "universal". Keeping that information as up-to-date, so to speak, as possible allows many versions of consciousness and sentience to draw from it. This is the stuff of new universes. Scholars have One Input as having One Input increases the durability to indulge in specific experiences, rather than touching briefly on a theme, and then moving to new ones, then returning later with new awareness. Scholars complete their themes so as to have a "purer" experience.

    Old Warriors

[Excerpted from Michael Speaks: The Roles for Mature and Old Souls] MEntity: ... there is little recorded from us through our channels about the distinctions among the Roles in how they manifest through the Soul Ages, and we can address that today. ... Understanding this can help lend insights into the various Soul Ages and how the Roles manifest. ...

    Warrior: Power of Correction

[Excerpted from OMW: Manifesting Power] MEntity: We will discuss the concept of Power with you today. First, we will clarify what is meant by Power in our teaching, which we think is a meaning that extends to include most uses of the word. In our teaching, Power is an Expression Axis term. This is because Power can come from any number of sources and be implemented through any number of methods, but it requires Form, Expression, for it to be in existence. All terms on the Expression Axis require a move into Form for existence. The terms we choose for our Overleaf system are part of every individual life in some way, even as each Personality is a particular combination of emphasized terms. For example, one grows in a lifetime even if one does not have a Goal of Growth. Each fragment will have to contend with his or her relationship to Power, even if the Mode is not Power. Power is a spectrum that describes one's presence. The form of any kind of Power can range from between violent oppression that destroys to a quiet lucidity that awakens. Each Essence comes with a kind of built-in source of Power. How that comes into form is up to that fragment, and we have seen that every fragment will explore the entire range from violence to lucidity. Each Essence Role has a specific source or style of Power. We will share these with you, now. Keep in mind that Power is either GENERATED or EXTRACTED. There are other terms that could be used to describe these, but these terms will do. Power either comes from within, or without. Power that comes from within is regenerative and unlimited. Power that comes from without is dependent and limited. Keep this in mind as we describe the various Power of each Role. ... WARRIORS WARRIORS carry within them what we might call the Power of Correction. When this Power is Extracted, it shows up as PUNISHMENT. This Power of Correction is a keen awareness of where one may be out of alignment within, or without, and the Warrior can help to bring that alignment back. When this Power is dependent, then this Correction is done through punishment, shaming, and withholding. This is also how the Warrior experiences Correction, if offered by others, particularly if imprinting has come from caretakers who corrected in this fashion. As the Warrior shifts toward an internal, regenerative source of Power, this shifts toward being CONSEQUENTIAL. It is a Power of consequences; an awareness of the impact of choice, action, etc. When dependent upon feedback, the Warrior's Power of Correction is only seeking to avoid punishment, shame, or withholding. It has no real concern for consequences beyond the avoidance of this. When the shift turns toward an internal Power, there is a broadening of awareness of consequences. Punishment is no longer the incentive for Correction in self or others. As the Warrior comes into Manifestation, it comes to be determined that even if punishment is potential, there are better or worse consequences about which to be concerned. In fact, punishment may come to be considered "worth it," if it means a valid Correction. For both the King and the Warrior, this Power tends to come into effect in terms of DOING. What the King or Warrior DOES, or what others are DOING, is where this Power comes up, either positively or negatively.

    Living as Essence: Warrior

[Excerpted from Michael Speaks: Living as Essence.] MEntity: Today we will speak to you about "living as Essence," or "manifesting Essence," which essentially translates into living from the Positive Poles of your Overleaves. What we will share today is relative to the Essence Roles, so your particular dynamic of Overleaves is not relevant to how one's Essence Manifests, as there are consistencies to the core qualities of each Role. However, because of your own Overleaves' dynamics, you may find variations on what we share. ... If one thinks of each life being a story, then what we can do to help each of you understand how you live as Essence is to put this in light of the story of your life. ... We will speak about the WARRIOR now: For the Warrior, the question would tend to be: IS THIS THE STORY I REALLY WANT TO DEFEND/PROTECT? Warriors, more often than most Roles, will live a life that eventually begins to include walls around it, so to speak. Their personal story starts to be marked with shame, guilt, secrecy, and sometimes regret. For the Warrior to live as Essence, he must look at the story of his life in a way that determines if he is simply nurturing integrity, or if he is hiding shame and guilt. When there is a nurturing of integrity, there is a quiet calm in the Warrior that owns his or her past, experiences, and knows that the details do not define the person, but what one does with those details defines the person. In asking, "Is this really the story I want to defend?" he is really asking, "Is it okay if I grow to like myself, and accept the choices I have made?" The Warrior, more than most other Roles, will turn to defense of a story of another person as a way to play out his defense of his own story. The Warrior will be quick to question the integrity of your story, if it is your own, but just as quickly defend it if it is questioned by someone else. This is because he or she is playing out the dynamic that exists with the self that he or she must contend with on a daily basis. The Warrior constantly questions the integrity of his own story, all while preparing to defend it with great strength. So if the Warrior who seeks to live as Essence remembers to ask, "Is this really the story I wish to defend?" the Warrior can shift his attention away from protecting or hiding his or her shame, or guilt, and aim for the integrity and depth that has come from those experiences.
  16. So, I'm a Warrior-cast Scholar. I've always had the impression that those with strong Warrior elements in their personality were supposed to be attracted to confrontation and challenge, and when it's me against circumstances or the environment around me, I think that's true to an extent. But when it comes to confrontations with other people, debates and such, I'm not much of a fan. In fact, I hate that sort of confrontation. Even if it's a totally respectful difference of opinion and everything stays civil, having to "attack" the beliefs another person holds (and having mine attacked in return, of course) is a profoundly uncomfortable position for me. The more heated the discussion becomes, the more I hate it. I'll still defend my opinions to the best of my ability, but I don't at all enjoy it like I imagine other Warriors or Warrior-cast might. It just strikes me as odd. Which Roles do you guys feel are the most confrontation-averse?

WARRIORS - Loving and Being Loved

[Excerpted from: OMW: Loving and Being Loved] MEntity: Before we go into the dynamics of the Personality and how Loving and Being Loved works within each Lifetime, we will point out the general themes for each Role and how that pursuit of Loving and Being Loved shows up over lifetimes. Every Role has its blind spot to love, and when that blind spot finds light, that Role usually experiences a profound exposure to Love. … WARRIORS, more than any other Role, tend to require you to WIN THEM OVER to Love as a means to bring light to their blind spot. This is different from "proving" Love, in that it does not require proof as much as it does endurance. Of course, that endurance is often experienced as Loyalty, and Loyalty is Love to the Warrior. WARRIORS - need to be Won Over - defaulting to Reciprocal Love KINGS - need you to Let Them Love - defaulting to Agape Love These needs are correlated to MARTYRDOM and IMPATIENCE, which are about Losing Control of Space, and Losing Control of Time. In other words, the Warrior needs shared "territory" to Love, and The King needs shared "time" to Love.
  18. Note from Janet: This topic was originally posted by Geraldine on September 29, 2014. I have elected to post it under the same forum section that Geraldine chose. Note from Geraldine: I had my Team POF session today, and, while I didn't have anything personal that seemed pressing, I did want to continue with some of my "Timeline Project" work, too. Warfare and Warriors isn't exactly that, but it does fill in a couple of blanks as it opens up some new Questions. GeraldineB: I'd like more context for the constant warfare that I've been aware of that goes back to recorded history and that has become progressively more genocidal -- just kill the others rather than conquer. I'm grappling with the concept of Warriors and warfare. In cultures that do not have organized warfare, i.e., standing armies, what role does the "role of Warrior" play? I would like a brief overview of the expansion of warfare in human history. Expansion from inter-tribal conflicts or refugee movements due to crop failures or climate changes, etc., to outright "empire-building," such as was exhibited by Alexander "the Great." (i do realize that session is not long enough for a full elaborate discussion, but should give some groundwork for future Qs.) MEntity: First, our choice of the term "Warrior" was chosen from how we learned the term, rather than how the term has come to be fractured. Warfare has really not expanded much over the course of history. It fluctuates in its horrors, but it is still the same in terms of conflict. All of this warfare is based on the fulfillment of the Nine Needs. In most cases when there is war, there is a Need being fulfilled to some early degree. This is a learning process for Humans, and we realize the process is slow. In most cases, the more obvious of the warfare includes the lower ends of POWER, EXPANSION, and SECURITY, but war is by no means limited to these Needs. Other Needs help to exacerbate the scenarios, such as the lower ends of Expression as a means of propaganda, for example. If you look at the first 3 degrees of each of the Nine Needs, you will find the clue to all wars. Only when the Needs find a way to be fulfilled from the 4th degree or higher does war begin to fade. We think this would have to be our most succinct response in light of the current format of exchange. GeraldineB: thank you -- the "reasons" were other than I expected also, I can better visualize Warriors in some of the Grand Cycles where war didn't seem to be an issue MEntity: We can address those expectations in further exchanges. Your expectations should not be discounted. Sharing them may bring more expanded and in depth understanding. GeraldineB: I'm not discounting them -- just always trying to find the "truth" that underlies seemingly incredibly counterproductive behavior Do Priests also earn ribbons for the wars they incite but may not participate in? MEntity: Many actions are counterproductive relative to the intention, but they are always productive relative to the learning. Yes, they do. Not necessarily to all individuals involved, but to those with whom they have the closer bonds that were exploited. There are many instances of "collective Karma" in that a fragment who was the source of inspiration for great waves of Ribbons to be generated will then find a way to balance this through great waves of benefit. For example, Steve Jobs was balancing a collective Karma for a lifetime when his position of creativity only served to invent greater forms of torture. This lifetime was a means of helping to balance his life during the Inquisition. These Ribbons behave differently, but similarly, and they are as compelling. We must conclude here for today. GeraldineB: Interesting :) -- Not exactly philanthropic, such as doctors w/o borders . . .but, still of great benefit MEntity: The balance here was in uniting people through technology, rather than dividing them through technology, as was the case in the past. The irony here is that inherent in his creativity is still the suspicion that this technology still acts as a means of dividing. But it is a start to the balancing of those Ribbons. "He" will be back to do more. GeraldineB: LOL -- there will always be Luddites

    WARRIOR ESSENCE

*This is a summarized description using my own interpreted understandings and a mix of many quotes from Michael that can be read+studied in the source material below. Feel free to check in for updates, as more information may be gathered on this topic from newer sessions. The Warrior Role in Essence shines when there are opportunities to rally for a cause, invoke courage as a platform for change, and bring energy to a direction. This is a Role with 1 Input- oriented to Conquering whatever task/experience/difficulty is faced. The Warrior highly values Loyalty, Compassion and Commitment, encouraging these in themselves and others- but they are just as keen at rushing over to serve needs for protection. Despite being called Warriors, they are often the quietest and most peaceful of the roles- that is, until there is a cause to be taken up, such as in the support of an underdog. When Warriors manifest -Coercion, they push a divide between those/that they’re loyally protecting from those/that deemed a threat, through force, bullying, scare tactics, conquering, manipulative strategies, or even punishment, shaming or withholding. This Coercion can even be directed at a loved one by protecting them from themselves, or towards the Warrior themselves, to protect them from others. Coercion forces direction upon another, and it often isn’t met with passivity. As Coercion is all about Protection, this Warrior can begin to question the integrity of others actions, but always quickly defend others just the same when they’re threatened, as a reflection of their own self-protection/hiding of shame/guilt/regret over the integrity of their past choices. When Warriors manifest +Persuasion, they encourage the self and others to CHOOSE to do what’s best for them, with active intelligence and freedom of movement. This Warrior no longer sees punishment as the only method of Correcting actions, but sees correction can be brought through the awareness of choice and consequence- the ability to “shift gears”, “change lanes”, move/see in opposite directions as a means of realigning beliefs, organizations, parts of self etc. and nurture integrity(own their past and the choices made). In short, the details don’t define them, or anyone- what one does with those details does. -------------------------- SOURCE MATERIAL: Conscious Connection to Warrior Essence 1 Input Living as Warrior Essence Core Warrior Values Wants+Needs of Warrior- Commitment and Humility Warrior Power- Correction 7 Facets of Warrior Role Old Warriors Loving and Being Loved- Warrior- Win Over Warrior- Cohesion vs Protection Member: Bobby- Sage-cast Warrior 2007 Overleaves Warriors and Warfare- What IS a Warrior?

    WARRIOR CASTING

**This is a summarized description using my own interpreted understandings and a mix of many quotes from Michael that can be read+studied in the source material below. Feel free to check in for updates, as more information may be gathered on this topic from newer sessions. The Warrior-cast functions on a daily basis as a conscious/subconscious attraction to what brings a sense of meaningful challenge. You might then, take life on as if it's territory to conquer- dealing with questions of loyalty, needs for defense, and alignments: always strategically scanning ahead for how to best navigate. Being on the active-axis, this Casting relates to Ordinal Action and thus embodies the qualities of Cynicism (Opposition to present the other side of situations.), Submission (Giving energy to a fulfilling cause/direction.) and Perseverance (An undying courage+loyalty to those you deem worthy.) You’re keenly aware of the sense of challenge to face, and the Authenticity and Sincerity in those around, using your natural talents of +Persuasion to move through experiences and difficulties and make a difference through your efforts, while also encouraging others to help participate in & solve those. As supported by an embrace of healthy +Contradiction, +Devotion and +Persistence. However, you are also prone to -Coercion, resorting to manipulative strategy for the sake of your cause, protection, and expecting others to prove themselves to ever be let into your life. And this can lead to strong needs to burn off energy on the regular, due to frustration. As supported by a fall into -Denigration, -Subservience, -Unchanging and general Martyrdom. -------------------------- SOURCE MATERIAL: Warrior Casting Function Young Son- Essence Report(Warrior-cast Sage) Member: NickF- Essence Report(Warrior-cast Scholar)

    Artisan Casting

This material was obtained in a POF session on December 21, 2014. Janet: ... you have given some general information about the effect of Artisan casting. I suspect there is a flavor associated to the role that has Artisan casting. My sister is a Server, I work with a man who is an Artisan-cast Warrior, and I of course am an Artisan-cast Artisan. Can you briefly explain how Artisan casting provides flavor to the Server vs. the Warrior vs. the Artisan? Or is there no real difference to the effect of casting to each role? MEntity: As for Artisan Casting: the Role makes a definitive difference in how Casting is used, yes. In the simplest of terms, it could be said that: The Server would be CREATIVELY NURTURING/SERVING, or DELUSIONALLY BOUND/TRAPPED. The Artisan would be INNOVATIVELY/INGENIOUSLY/PRODUCTIVELY CREATIVE, or UNREALISTICALLY/CONFUSINGLY/NEUROTICALLY/PARANOID DELUSIONAL. The Warrior is CREATIVELY PERSUASIVE, or DELUSIONALLY COERCIVE. The Scholar would be CREATIVELY EXPERIENCED/KNOWLEDGEABLE, or DELUSIONALLY THEORETICAL/LOGICAL/ABSTRACT. Sages would be CREATIVELY DISSEMINATING/PROPAGATING/COMMUNICATING, or DELUSIONALLY ORATING/LECTURING/SOAPBOXING. The Priest might be CREATIVELY COMPASSIONATE/WARM/BENEVOLENT, or DELUSIONALLY ZEALOUS/EARNEST/STRIDENT. The King would be CREATIVELY MASTERFUL/SKILLFUL, or DELUSIONALLY TYRANNICAL/REPRESSIVE/OPPRESSIVE.
