I watched the Conan O'Brien show from 19th April just now, and they had a band on at the end who I hadn't heard of before - X Ambassadors, playing a song called "Hoping". It managed to sum up a lot of how I feel about the way the world is going, the crazy fairground ride that all those fear driven younger soul have us hand-cuffed to right now. Have a listen:
