One of my favourite cards in the Tarot deck is the 6 of Cups. It speaks to me of Innocence.

I wouldn't mind more explanation.   What I notice about innocence is that it can be overtaken by fault finding, criticism, disdain, taking things unnecessarily seriously or just following the herd mentality.  Is that the excuse being referred to.  Or is the excuse more about justifying not seeing the innocence.  Or is it about feeling you need an excuse to see the innocence when others may not. 

 

I just had to get this out and perhaps if I dream on it and give it time I'll find clarity.  Other opinions I wouldn't mind either.
