ENERGY REPORT: March 2018

I'm very angry and pissed off today.

I both know why I would be & don't (for both personal and global reasons). I'm just trying to process it and ride it.

I do feel very motivated to do something on one hand, but also chronically tired and exhausted.

I know I have been very cold to others today because public displays of anger are frowned upon in this culture and I tend to express passive-aggressively instead.

But exploding, crying and screaming isn't exactly a productive use of energy around others. It can be cathartic though.

How's everyone else doing?

How are you coping?

I've been having a hard time with irritation, anger, and anxiety. I've been projecting it on my manager (for reasons I mentioned in the last MMW), but I think it's also some kind of collective energy because it just seems to permeate everything. I was talking to Tex today about it and it occurred to me that I am giving too much of a shit for a business that's not mine and I don't really care that much about. So I'm telling myself it's not my fucking business, and that helped a lot. Tex says when it is my business then I can be hell on wheels. 😉

Our president has resigned due to a corruption scandal  😕 Seems like we have hit rock bottom ....and we can only go up.

Corruption never lasts. Systems crumble so we can create new ones. Balance and  wisdom come after pain and chaos. These are growing pains, and things DO get better.  I'm holding that vision at random times of the day...so it can expand in depth and time, contributing to the collective energy as well.

I'm focusing on nurturing my health, finishing my degree, working, enjoying my life. I'm loving my new swimming practice  ☺️

About corruption sometimes I think that all Brazilian politicians are corrupt. That the political system here are so comtaminated that even those who enter with good options ends up corrupting themselves.

Sometimes I think that such a mature soul ploy will not happen in Brazil anytime soon. So I really prefer to focus on my inner change. In my inner change I can do something.

My reaction to the first sentence was, "wait, he resigned??" And the next second, "oh, wrong president." Sigh.

Weird thought that occurred late last night while I was having trouble sleeping-are most of those who have come forward after voting, realized their mistake and made public announcements of regret also the ones doing the Mass Monad? And is this one way of showing they've completed it?

Haha! Ok, some peruvian game of thrones ahead...so bear with me 🙂

It all started 30 years ago. Our economy was at its worst and we had a wave of terrorism… blackouts, killings, bombings in the streets, kidnappings, etc. Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) even infiltrated in public universities. They killed and raped many indigenous people of the mountains. Suddenly, an outsider candidate appeared: Alberto Fujimori. He was charismati and appealed to the masses.   Soon he was elected, and helped stabilize the economy, we even thrived. He also sent troops to those places to kill terrorists,…but they also abused people and ended up raping and killing innocents. Fujimori promised rural women vaccines for their health, but they were sterilizing them. And he even had ties with many corrupt businessmen that financed his campaign and kept his enemies at bay, and payed the education in USA of his daughter Keiko and son Kenji.

When the situation turned against him …he flew to Japan! And resigned from there!!

In 2007 or so,  he was extradited and convicted on charges of human rights abuses and others. 25 years of prision. But now, Keiko is all grown up and hungry of power. She’s been trying and trying to become President the last decade. And she also wanted to free her father.  Her younger brother, Kenji, is on politics as well, in the same party of her.

Last year, Keiko and Pedro Pablo Kuczkinsky (PPK for his initials) were running for presidency. Keiko equals corruption-everyone knows that- so we elected PPK. He is like 80 years old, looks like a nice, progressive grandpa...But the “fujimorists”- as we call their party- are the majority in congress and wouldn't let him work, would object his decisions, etc...and they found some info that linked PPK accepting bribes from multinational Odebrecht.

PPK was impeached on December of last year. If he was kicked out, it would mean a blow to everything....

The fujimorists divided in "keikists": wanted PPK to resign....and "kenjists": wanted to free Alberto Fujimori, who was old and ill. Apparently, "all" of them agreed on PPK destitution. But kenjists voted against it,  so PPK stayed. Keiko was furious...."Suddenly", Alberto had a complication in his health, went to emergency...and fujimorists asked for a pardon.

And guess what....

Just 3 days after being saved from destitution, PPK pardoned Alberto Fujimori "for humanitarian reasons".

On Christmas Eve!!  You can imagine the indignation of victims' families...and all the country.

Just days ago, Keiko and her asslickers released videos that showed PPK's allies, including Kenji , attempting to buy the vote against impeachment from one official.

Chaos!

PPK resigned yesterday and today we have Martín Vizcarra as president. He was our embassador in Canada and has a great resume of education programs.

Ahhh, we just hope for the best.

@Rosario  So wait... the Fujimorists are right-wing, obviously.  But then, based on what I've read, PPK (both the person and the party) is also right-wing.  So where's the Left in all this?

My whole year has been an oppressive stressful  chaotic mess because of work so March is no different. I guess the only thing new really is the stress showing up on my skin what with new liver spots and rashes, and dryness. I’m sick with a cold - again for the fifth or seventh time since September. I’m not sure, I’ve lost count. I’ve not yet acclimated to the germiness of kids. Experienced teachers keep telling me the first year is the hardest and that it will get easier but I feel like their definition of hard and my definition of hard are different things. I’m also working on a grad degree and one of the mentors from the university said that I and another teacher are good at sharing complaints but not solutions which hurt but she’s right, so instead of literally crying and whining from stress all the time we decided to figure out better ways to cope. I did finally get anti-anxiety medicine that I started taking this week but it’s too soon to tell if it’s working. She’s going to take more “me” time. As for the energy shifts at work, all the kids have been a little off behavior wise. Not bad but just different and the constant energy shifts explain why. Spring break is in a week. I can’t wait for March to be over. June is around the corner.

@Sam K I really don't know, LOL!  Between Alberto and PPK, we had slightly leftists Alejandro Toledo and Ollanta Humala...they also accepted bribes from Odebrecht and others, did monery laundering, etc 🙄. Toledo has an extradition order, and Humala and wife Nadine Heredia are in jail ....all thanks to Keiko 😂. Ollanta's story is worth another tv show haha, his father is a communist leader (he hated Nadine), brother Antauro is a former army major who lead occupations to police stations... and of course, Nadine was the real "man in charge", people joked about her usurpation of power.

@ckaricai thanks! 🙂 Whole situation is hilariously infuriating. The Congress would be a great spin-off. We have people with incomplete primary studies, fake degrees, plagiarized thesis, etc, a dog killer, an electricity thief, a TV cable pirate who sold the signal in rural zones (she has released a trailer of a movie based on her side of the story 🤣!!)  Even a papaya could be a better politician, for Tao's sake!

Amidst all the turmoil of March, this made me feel a bit better - Re June-July Turning Point (from a March 18, 2018 POF)

"Uma:  Can you tell us if there is any change in the probability of impeachment: it was at 56-58% last time I asked. And the probability of indictment and prison? You also indicated a possible turning point in June or July. Can you update us in any way?

MEntity:  There are no changes of significance at this point. A Turning Point of some sort from some angle is fairly imminent by June or July, but we do not know what that is."

Maybe this is it?

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/03/after-a-year-in-washington-ivanka-and-jared-are-isolated-on-kushner-island

Now the current bet is that the Trump-Kushners will stay through May or June, until school wraps up, if they can make it that far.”

“As Mueller’s investigation narrows in on Trump’s closest advisers, and closes in on answers to key questions—Was there collusion with Kremlin agents? Was there obstruction of justice?—the West Wing may soon become a zero-sum environment pitting colleagues and, perhaps, even family members against one another.”

“According to one former Trump adviser, the president is keeping Kushner around, in part, because he fears letting him out of his sight—particularly if he gets indicted. Which invites the question: If Ivanka Trump had to choose between her husband and her father, what would she do?”

I have been experiencing a sense of grief throughout the year which has been amplified in March. I have had this nagging feeling that I should do something more or that I should consider making a change in my life but have not been feeling well enough to focus on what that might look like. My job continues to be unfulfilling and it has been wearing down on me. During my off hours, I have been trying to shift my focus to more interesting things like hobbies, learning, exercise, etc. and this has helped a bit.

This part here from the energy report resonates as true to me.

"You are having to do the processing of these variables in a way that leads to choosing from the variables rather than branching out in exploration. This leads to your closing off paths of exploration that would normally be generated. This leads to a grieving of the closure of those variables. In other words, many of our students are watching potential paths “die off.” However abstract, there will be grieving."

I  felt so shattered all of last week, physically, mentally, emotionally - I have not often in my life felt that desperate, sad, tired and just fed up with everything as I have last week. I hope it will pass with April....

Here is a pic that never fails to make me laugh when the situation calls for it:

I was going to ask about that very thing @DianeHB.

Yesterday, was chaotic with visiting with relatives for lich Jesus day.

But when I feel asleep last night..I wasn't anxious.  It felt like a relief that so much turmoil was done.

Again...like many things, I have no interpretation for that.  I just woke up feeling more optimistic than I have in a long time.

What have y'all noticed?

I find everything that happens to me so individual. At most times I think my issues are well deferents of the majority.

I've been a little confused lately. But I do not think it has anything to do with the situation in the world. These are internal changes.

but with me good things are happening too. Vomo for example the improvement in my relationship with my cadence mate.

The next Energy Report should be coming out soon and the season for focusing on the Mode-POWER (Apr, May, Jun) is here.  The quote below I found very helpful in considering what may be at play over the next 3 months:

More On Power Mode

Power is Presence, then.

When one owns one's presence, or power, there is Authority. This is simply the management of expression in a way that is responsible, considered, and aware of its impact on others.

When one depends on others as their source of presence, or power, then it falls into Oppression.

This is true on the scale of oppression that one sees regarding minorities or non-sentient creatures, as well as in terms of the self.

To Oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission one seeks or takes from others.

Put another way: To oppress the self is to defer power and presence to the permission for expression one seeks or takes from others. Or, to oppress others is to draw power and presence from restricting expression of others.

For one to move out of the Negative Pole of Power, one needs to slide to the Positive Pole of Caution, Deliberation. When this is regarding self-oppression, it is when one chooses a specific way or context of expressing oneself, rather than not expressing oneself at all. When this is regarding oppression of others, it is the ownership of how one has interpreted the expression or presences of others as deliberately affecting oneself, when, in fact, it has not.

Deliberation is merely the slowing down of thought so as to be careful in how one experiences or delivers expression.

Inspired by Bobby's post above, I had to read a little more on Power Mode, and then I made a summary for myself, which I thought I could share here as well. It's all from Michael, I've just collected pieces from all over, put it together and made it easier to read for myself. No links this time, which I usually add, but I hope it can be useful for others too. I kind of think that the Overleaves for each season is actually supporting us whereever we are with ourself to bring out the best in us if we intend it to be so. At least I play with that in my mind. So while waiting for the Energy Report for April....

We're into the Mode season - meaning; Relationships and Relating

Power is an Exalted, Intellectual, Expressive Mode

Power is about:

  • Expression, Self-expression, Presence, Confidence, Ownership, Honesty, Responsibility
  • the sense of consolidation of truths or ideas
  • the formation of ideas into something that can be shared (Confidence, Self-expression)
  • the capacity to communicate in a way that conveys your Presence
  • the shift from invisible to visible
  • the shift from watching to exchanging. In short, it is Confidence.
  • the capacity to translate intangible patterns into something meaningful and recognizable (Expression)

+Authority is the inclusion of ideas, thoughts, and expression into form as a means of resource and a means of relating.

+Authority is the composing of thoughts, ideas, and expression into form

+Authority is Confidence/Presence that conveys full self-responsibility. Ownership for one's own thoughts in relation to others.

+Authority is Honesty and is a resource of strength that can be shared.

-Oppression is the exclusion of ideas and expression as a means of disconnecting from and controlling thoughts, ideas, and expression into form.

-Oppression is the imposing of thoughts, ideas, and expression onto form.

-Oppression is Conveying someone or something else responsible for you and your actions OR imposing responsibility upon others.

-Oppression is Insecure with their own beliefs so they reason and oppress your beliefs.

-Oppression is Disconnected, Defensive, Blaming others for their own thoughts and ideas.

-Oppression is when Power feels their presence isn't taking form, being acknowledged or in control, they'll either try to force their presence upon others or shrink in the shadow of something deemed more powerful as a way to gain some sense of false power.

I think my co-workers are also having a hard time dealing with these overleaves.

I'll summarize what I just witnessed.

I am part of a group on what'szapp aimed at syndicated people.

I work in a hospital. So there are people from all walks of life in this group. And a lot of people I do not even know.

There was an endless argument there for a bullshit, in my opinion, discussion with a right to personal offenses. I had never seen anything like it there.

Now the group administrator arrived and told us to stop the discussion. Whoever wanted to argue that he was outside the group

I noticed something similar in a facebook group today.  A post blew up, people were getting offended at the slightest things.

everything finally calmed down about 8 hours later when the poster was removed from the group.   It was chaos.

the people yelling the loudest were screaming about how they weren't be heard or included and the poster's posts were triggering and what have you.  I will state given the nature of the group....that could be literal psychological triggering.   While at the same time. not seeing how their actions were hurtful or oppressive.   It became humorous because I just kept asking can't you see.

Given, that I have had more than my share of moments of that over recent years.   Often, I realize it days or sometimes weeks later.

Sorry,  just seems like something that may be brewing.  Bigly changes.

Weird, a post blew up in one of my groups regarding someone's behaviour on a page and it resulted in a mass banning of the offended party.
