Here are your study library "mystery links" for August.

 

Tips:

  • While the linked article itself might not offer a nugget for you, we are in the process of adding links from the articles back to the original sessions. I encourage you to follow those links when they exist to see if there is a 'message' for you there.
  • Use these links in whatever synchronistic manner appeals to you. For example, instead of choosing a link for the current date, try choosing a link randomly.

About these links: The admin view of the Study Library lists all articles by the sequence they were created, regardless of each article's category. I use a random number generator to select the number of each article to be included for a month, and then a random number generator to assign each article to a day. While I do see the articles briefly while copying the links, I make it a point not to read the articles at the time I create this calendar, so that I can make use of the links myself when I want a dose of Michael without knowing what it is that I want to research. Sometimes I note patterns -- one month may have more articles about internal monads and another month may have more articles about soul ages. My hope is that these randomly selected patterns represent the needs of Michael students in their current research.

Omg, this system totally did! I randomly selected a date...and well, Essence must've been quite involved without my realizing it. I hit the Warrior section, & lol, being one AND needing some input (which was spot on for what I needed!) was perfect.

A number appeared in a dream last night and I selected it out of this list. The session was related to the effects of the body being "bombarded" by technology. This was a topic that my co-worker and I talked about recently and one I have been curious about.

How funny that people are getting 'hits' from this page and August hasn't even started yet!

 

I am a big fan of randomness and synchronicity. When I create these calendars, I use two random number generators to pick library articles and assign them to dates. The current method I'm using pulls up each article as it is selected, so I do briefly see the topics while creating the calendar. This month I noticed a topic reappearing that I know has been on recent calendars more than once. Given that there are currently 966 articles to choose from, I think it's interesting that one number would appear more than twice during a short time frame. I have to assume it's a useful article for someone who maybe hasn't found it yet. (And, no, I'm not going to say which one it is -- unless perhaps someone notes it as being significant to themselves.)

 

The other interesting thing this month was August 22. The date randomly appeared and I randomly chose a number for an article -- and it was 202. The nature of my selection method means that a date can appear more than once while I'm selecting articles. So August 22 appeared again. And the article randomly selected for it was 202. Again. That article is significant to me right now, and I'm curious if others feel the same way. 

 

(By the way, I should admit that if the same article number shows up twice for different dates in the same month, I select another article rather than listing it twice. So perhaps I'm interfering in the randomness, but I personally think having more articles accessible is a bit more useful than having repeats.)
