You may find that reading in search of the miraculous  , by Mr Ouspensky, in French will provide you with  a lot of Michael terminology . Anyway I enjoyed your translation very much. It reminded me of the time I was part of a Gurdjief commune, near Paris. One expression I always found hilarious was  rappeler à soi-même ,for self remembering.

When I was a young child (approximately 3 - 5 years old in the late 70s) my parents were involved in a Gurdjief group and I often accompanied them.

I remember that while my mother was in her nightly drumming/yoga session, I would sit on a tall stool at the adjacent kitchen bar busily drawing pictures, and sell them to people as they left the session.

My parents soon turned away from the group, but that imprinting remained.
