A new beginning

Lad the hon [memorial profile]

Hello all

Some of you remember me (as Lad the Hun, a name I would not choose now), some have forgotten me, and with some new members we never had any contact.

Anyway, I have been away for a long time. Now back in the midst of great changes.

I left because of some things I didn´t like. They don´t matter at all now, pure background. Some other things (few) matter so much more. New priorities, in other words.

I am not in a good state of health. Right at the moment I don´t want to name the problem. Some few of you know, and I might change my mind. Please allow this vagueness.

So what matters? In one word: Heart. Much more to say, but a bit too tired now. Very little energy for "small talk" nowadays...

So bye for now. Warmth and hugs and harmony to all of you!

Ladislaus

Glad to see you back. It's never too late to have a change of heart.... yeah yeah yeah, I know.  Tell that to a heart transplant recipient, right?  😉

I would love to hear more of your story/journey if you care to share.  It's a journey we're all going to make eventually so I think it could be beneficial to everyone here.

Happy Holidays to you and may you enjoy as much comfort as possible.

Thank you for your _words_, Bobby. Not just a "like/love" (which never raised my spirits... will write a blog post about this).

Which journey are we talking about? The one all are going to make towards death? Not interested in going in that direction .-)

There is the journey with a Love Monad, a very special one. And then there is the journey away from Rejection and finally discovering that the heart is more important than brains and being "smart".

very tired greetings from the tired fingers of

Big fat mooshy and cuddly hugs to you, @Ladislaus (formerly Lad the Hun) !! You know I've always had a soft spot in my heart for you and I know the feeling has (almost) always been mutual. I always had such affection for you. It's great to see your aliveness and presence again!

Glad to see you back @Ladislaus (formerly Lad the Hun). I remember many things... among them your discerning mind and your beautiful photography. Love to you!  💞

Thanks Maureen! Also for mentioning the qualities.

Discerning goes as the bright side of Rejection, which otherwise if not an easy one.

Photos I have taken/ take much pleasure in. The picture, alone against a background, more as an invitation to stop and reflect than to admire the Photoshop pyrotechnics... Hope you allow me the slight ego-fulfilment to

What is about to be added now, it seems, is the ability to CRY! A gift indeed.

Big hug

Ladislaus

You know what, Troy? (and everybody else) That mooshy feeling would probably and hopefully be so much bigger if BODIES were in the picture = We really met. Internet is body-free, almost antiseptic.

Anyway, I felt the moment felt right to dip my toes in the Michel-waters again.

And I can give this much info about my health: Tumour of the more difficult kind. Don't want to discuss it so much, I think. It almost seems to bring "highly sensitivity" (simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highly_sensitive_person) with it. Maybe it's the lack of protective body fat or something. Anyway, not sure about this.

The way I see, the way forward for me, if not humanity, is the HUG. free hugs.jpg

Greetings from the heart, not the head this time.

Ladislaus

Good to "see" you again, Lad. I have fond memories of getting angry with you and  enjoying the heck out of you, too!

Much love and respect,

It's nice to see you back, Lad.  I remember you well.  😊

I remember myself less, which can be a good thing. Stuff sinking into Unimportant Oblivion.

Unfortunatly names and faces sometimes go the same way...  Spelling, hower remains. How was it, good spelling is the last thing that leaves man? (no spell check here)

However, I long to have my muscle power and mobility back.

Balance, then?

Anger is an infantile, snotty sort of love, I like to believe that.

I tried to dry my nose since then!

Dry hugs!

Love the name change!  Love and hugs to you.

I like to think of it as an up-, not an downgrade. Going for the mysterius Yin...

Hello Jeroen! Let's see what I can contribute this time, not trying to steal attention and energy.

It´s easy to SAY "new beginning". May we both bloom as fresh flowers!

Very good signature! Since it is rhymed, I would write it;

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better, it's not". - Dr Seuss

I indicates that, contrary to what most people want to believe, the effort needed needs to come from us, more precisely ME! Scary! But scary realism. We cannot delegate the improment of the world to committees and specialists.
