PLATFORM AFTER PARTY 2016

So I wanted to have a central place beyond the individual blog entries for people to share their feelings and thoughts about their Platforms. You don't have to repost them here, but you can post a link to your blog entry if you discuss it. I know the video chat turned out to be some trouble so we'll work on finding better ways to host large conferences (it seems to work very well for up to 10 people, so please use it!).  Thank all of you for coming and being patient over the past few weeks. And for those few were added late to the list (or were missed - I'm looking at you, Paul ) I will get your Platforms to you by Monday. I want to say I'll get them out tonight, but I know my brain is fried from the 40+ sessions, so I might need a bit of a rest before I cause an aneurysm. Great Party!! Share what you experienced! I hope the Platforms have some meaning in the year ahead.

I loved my platform of Harmony. I need a year of harmony more than words can express. When my wife gets her platform back, i will be interested to see if its related to mine, as we both have had a traumatic year dealing with my son having seizures at school. I look forward to harmony.

Ugh, I took a nap this afternoon and totally missed out on the party! I can't believe I did that! Super bummer.  After much anticipation, I was all ready to jump and and chat with everyone. It's like tripping at the finish line. Oh well, hope everyone had fun with it anyway. The new chatroom is interesting. If it's like the old ning "lower chatroom" was, that'd be cool. We could drive each other nuts with beeping again! Huzzah!

Anyway, guess I'll be in queue for a Monday platform then. Until then, there seems to be plenty new reading material in the activity feed.

It looks like it was a great event! I was able to log into the chat, but had an issue with my phone and couldn't post anything, so the Sage in me was frustrated, but the Scholar happy to observe. Glad to see so many positive platforms! It's about time 2016 perked up a bit.

Great party, Troy. It was nice to virtually mingle. Thank you. My Platform is excellent; like a jab in the bottom with a pointy stick! A real wake up. Motivation, motivation, motivation! Michael's reference to stuttering was 'woohoo', too. I'd forgotten about that til the other day. Thanks, Troy. You are the Michael Man. ?

Ah, cool.  Okay, I double checked, and sure enough it has arrived!  Confirmed. Thanks Troy!  Yay, new stuff! 

 

Lol, the moment I saw migration I was like "how the hell do they know this?" The internal push-pull of moving/outgoing vs secure/comfortable has been weighing particularly heavily on my mind recently (it has in the past too, but this year it seems to be particularly front and center). On one hand, I have indeed felt myself breaking out of my comfort zone in new ways (mostly socially in terms of the movement from being "hidden" to "open"). On the other hand, especially in terms of physical location and means, I've felt very anchored and moored in comfort and it's made me anxious that I've stalled, failed, or that I'm "wasting" or "running out of time" (Self-dep's a bitch ). I'm glad in the way they presented this platform, because it kind of allays those fears, especially by mentioning that essence is still getting stuff out of life, and that the energy of migration will be available in future cycles as needed.

Only a couple of days after the Platform Party, I asked Michael a few questions about my platform - True Trust. 

 

It was very helpful to get a wording for my Blind Spot, Terror, and elaborate on the dynamics behind it. Absolute resonance!

 

Except the practical information about how to start working with these dynamics, what I found very interesting was the impact that this process may have on my future!

 

From Michael:

"Your Essence sees the dynamic is vital to you. It will not push you into or through your Healing, but this is a pivotal year in terms of what you do over the next 15 years and how you do that. "

 

I have until now been working "around" my Platform, adding some pieces of the puzzle to built up the strength, or rather daring, that I imagine I need to confront my Terror. My next step now is to have a few focused sessions about my progression maybe through POFs or in some other session format.
