@Marigold That’s awful! Maybe the nexus will play a positive role? One can hope right?
Either way, keep us posted, will you?

Lots of love! Be safe! <img src=">

Thank you, @Jorgen.❤️

The vote, unfortunately, passed. This is the first time a vote of no confidence succeeds in this country and it is for the wrong reasons. This was a very irresponsible thing because now many laws will not and cannot be passed which were supposed to help people to deal with the rising inflation prices and we will miss out on receiving a  large sum of money from the EU (billions). Our PM said that it was an honour to be taken down by the oligarchs and Russia's ambassador (alluding to the Kremlin's influence here through political parties) because it meant that the government was doing the right thing by disrupting their comfort.

The regressive forces will do everything they can to stop progress and fill their pockets. There are two protests happening at the same time. But the protest in favour of progress was much larger than the other protest in favour of setting us back. I hope that this energy will last until the next elections and people won't fall prey to complacency. Maybe this could be the positive effect of the Nexus IF it indeeds empowers citizens to act.

The new general elections will likely happen in September and in the meantime a caretaker government must be formed by the President (who is himself kind of Pro-Russain sounding and this is not good). Before then according to our Constitution there should be made another attempt to form a government majority within the current parliament by the parties but many are skeptical that this could happen.

Imo, as a message to anyone who is just "waiting" for things to get better (and don't worry, I am too), the nexus dates don't reflect unforeseen events, but the highest probable RESPONSES to those events.

In other words, because of all the work we've done in the last 2-5 years, we've built up a Nexus where the RESPONSE is highest in terms of empowerment, nurturing a sense of possibility for renewal and openness.

And this is regardless of what events may happen, because the response is what matters.

Let's keep responding without being fueled by the fear. 🙂We do the most disservice by not responding.

This gave me a bit of hope when I saw it today. ✨

Scientists have revived a plant from the Pleistocene epoch. This plant is 32,000 years old

The oldest plant ever to be regenerated has been grown from 32,000-year-old seeds—beating the previous recordholder by some 30,000 years A Russian team discovered a seed cache of Silene stenophylla, a flowering plant native to Siberia, that had been buried by an Ice Age squirrel near the banks of the Kolyma River (map). Radiocarbon dating confirmed that the seeds were 32,000 years old

Mood for today:  Shame!   Shame!  Shame!

OK....22 minutes later...it's time to turn despair into action - so, I'm choosing a new mood:  this action today will not stop us, it will not defeat us.  The growth and evolution of the Human Design continues:

Blessed Be The Froot Loops

Because the US Supreme Court today...🤬

"The Handmaid's Tale" is actually filmed here, in various cities located within Canada's province of Ontario.
A lot of locations used by the show are places I've been and recognize.
Most never expected such a dark reality to hit so close to home, as it has today.

What a sad day indeed, when the highest court of the nation that portrays itself as “the leader of the free world” de facto abolishes the right to have an abortion. Now it is up to the states, further deepening the divide between ‘progressive’ states and the rest of them, while this right is probably most needed in those states where it already has been and will be abolished. The hypocrisy of it is just too vast to comprehend.
Can’t we just get all the extremists, of every nation, who apparently miss the dark ages so much, to live together in one country? Ah, how I long for a world without religion and other kinds of fundamentalist persuasions…

By the way, for the fellow jurists on TLE: the reasoning behind the court’s decision that this is not up to the federal level, but belongs to the states, is to my mind an obvious construct, a mere means to an end, because this is not a state vs. federal issue. Another of many examples of how having a federal structure can be misused or abused or just misunderstood.

I am fucking heartbroken and enraged. I live in a blue state (Illinois), surrounded by states that have trigger laws--meaning that abortion is now illegal in those states. Many women are going to be coming here for medical services. Fuck the US Supreme Court (except for the 3 good ones).

Yes. I dreamed about my mother, father, and brother last night, all of whom are dead. It was my father's funeral, and he was lying on a slab in a bright room. He sat up and told me how much love there was where he is now. My father died in 2000, my mother in 2004, and my brother in 2016. (My sister in 1997, but she wasn't in this dream). I think I really let go of my father last night.

That sounds really beautiful, @AnnH.  My parents have both passed (2010 and 2015) and I've had similar dreams (although not recently) about my father; in the dream he put his hands on my shoulders and I just understood that he was "in a good place" and that "everything was going to be all right", it was much more the feelings of love and connection than words.  Sounds like this was a really great message for you (and for us all) right now.

Too true Evelin!   If we had a court that would tell men they don't have a constitutional right to viagra or that they would be held truly accountable for their children, then this decision would never have come down.

These so-called "justices" (and it makes me choke to use that term to refer to them) are just terrified to see the comforts of their young-soul world and unquestioned privilege slipping away.   They can only feel superior if they can make others feel "less than"

So sad and disappointing; I can only hope this propels us to action.  How many wake-up calls do we need?

Cross posting this from Discord in case it helps someone:

Yes, today is an exceptionally shitty day in America’s history and I empathize with all the lives that will be affected by this. I also see it as more and more cracks in the institutions that will eventually fall. They did not win. They are, in fact,  digging their own graves.

For those in our TLE community and lives who find themselves directly impacted by this ruling, please share this far and wide: https://vajenda.substack.com/p/stop-talking-about-coat-hangers-and

Down at the bottom are concrete steps you can take to help. Do what you can, if you can. 💗

As for the the comments made by Clarence Thomas to “reconsider all of this court’s” cases that establish rights to contraception, gay marriage and sex, I’m reminded of the wise words of Maya Angelou: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” If overturning Roe v. Wade just happened, this isn’t a warning, it’s a prediction. Use that as motivation to act, to vote, to make change. I for one, am so fucking tired of having my agency taken away. Fuck. That. I don't even think they are operating on fear or whatever. I think it's pure greed. I think these judges who were recently shoehorned in by republican senators under trump got their posts by making some deal or another. - hey we'll vote you in only if you overturn this ruling. And we need it overturned because XYZ person/LLC donated thousands of dollars to our campaigns for this specific purpose. I really think it's as simple as that. They sold out the entire country to advance their careers. I don't think these judges actually care if people with uteruses who are middle class, working class get abortions or not. People with money will do what they have always done - send their pregnant people away for a couple weeks or months to have their procedures done in secret and tell everyone they are "vacationing."

Justin Trudeau's Tweet. ✨🇨🇦✨

The news coming out of the United States is horrific. My heart goes out to the millions of American women who are now set to lose their legal right to an abortion. I can’t imagine the fear and anger you are feeling right now.

Great point!   I hadn't considered this as a potential motivator - but I definitely can't say I disagree.  Thank you!

People in the U.S., please call your state representatives and senators - let them know what you expect of them!

I just called rep. Jimmy Panetta, and senators Alex Padilla and Dianne Feinstein. We're in CA, so they're already working hard on women's reproductive rights and stronger gun laws, but they have not given any indication about how they're going to handle the Supreme Court. I would like to see (among other things) stronger checks and balances on the Supreme Court, including term limits and stronger ethics rules about when justices should recuse themselves, etc.
