I'm a Michael Student. Why is it that all the videos and articles on MT (not just on this site) slow down around 2009-2011? I really want to find a semi-active community to join. Majority of the post on here were made months/years ago. Does anyone know of any podcast that were made recently? Where did all these channels go? Are they dying off? Just curious.

Posts have only increased in the form of text.  Text is searchable and overall more useable.  It's simply easier to scan through as well.

 

technology now will allow you to turn any text document into a spoken format if you feel you must have it that way though :)

@mahoganygipson which site are you talking about? This community is incredibly active and constantly pumping out material. I really have no idea what you are talking about. Hundreds and hundreds of posts and new material monthly for decades, even up to and including today. 6+ live events every month for years. I'd love to return to creating a podcast and more videos, but as Bobby pointed out, the majority of students prefer written material for the convenience and ease of access, sorting, searching, etc. But there will be more videos and a reboot of the podcast at some point because I love doing them.

 

I have to presume you thought you were at some other site when you asked this question?

Definitely must be thinking of another Michael site. TLE is an incredibly active and vibrant community. An ongoing sharing place with community discussion and lots to learn. It never stops being active here! :wink:

You're probably thinking of Dave's Michael Teachings site, which is the second major repository of MT information. Dave ran into a very time-consuming real life situation and had to let nurturing the site go for a while. That situation resolved a few months ago, and he's back working on it.

 

There is a lot of activity in some other areas, but I've noticed the same thing: most of it isn't visible on the internet. For example, the transcripts of the original Michael group were published a couple of years ago, but finding out about it is rather hit-or-miss. Reading them in comparison to what Yarboro published is very enlightening. This site is the only one I know of that shows a lot of publicly visible life at the moment.

 

I wouldn't know about videos or podcasts; I'm very much a text person. If you want someone to actually talk to, Troy has a chat room, and I'm in Dave's chat room from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Mountain time on Sunday and Wednesday night. Those are the only two active Michael Teachings chat facilities that I'm aware of.
