The quantum mechanics of bird navigation

This article about how scientists are coming around to the idea that bird navigates via geo-magnetism but more through a process of quantum entanglement. Quantum entanglement is an idea that if you set up an experiment in location A and location B half a world away, and you change the direction spin of that particle at location A, location B particle will also change its spin to the same orientation. Spooky action at a distance as Einstein described it.

 

The article suggests an insight. I know some people can 'see' or 'feel' people/places from a different time/space. I wonder if it is a case quantum entanglement that we can sometimes connect to.

I've played a game series that revolved around this.

They called it Morphic Resonance. And it is a concept that states invisible fields of energy connect all, and when one part resonates at a certain frequency, so do all the others, or at least some.
It was used to explain how animals for instance, know how to act according to their genetics and from a collective memory.
It also allows people to connect with each other across time and space via a sort of telepathy.

It's mostly considered a pseudoscience though, but I've always believed it had merit.
The term was coined by Rupert Sheldrake.
