EMOTIONAL CENTER: MOVING PART

Recommended Posts

KurtisM

*This is a summarized description created from the many sessions that can be found+read in the source material below. I tend to update these summaries often, so feel free to check in as more information may be gathered on this topic from newer sessions.

An Emotionally Centered, Moving Part habitually processes life, things, people, events in terms of how those move+inspire them, and bypass their prejudices and logic to reach a place of direct perception. In short they process how they feel about what’s right, wrong, dangerous, safe, trusted or not.
They will then act on those feelings; either in agitated, frustrated and repetitive ways- or in productive and graceful ways. In short, they will then direct their energy out of themselves to act in the environment. The Moving Part turns inspirations into impulses, hunches, intuition, activity.

The TRAP of this Center/Part combo is that life becomes filled with reactions and feelings, but there is no organization that helps to give a voice to these. There is only over questioning, overwhelm, indecisiveness and a sense of dependence on the body, life+others to give cues as to what direction to feel or go.
The key to balance is in Intellectual Meditation; anything from Cross-word puzzles and Brain teasers, to Transcendental or Focused Meditations, to a night of Hilarity+Comedy.

Thanks for this summary @KurtisM  It really hits the nail squarely for me. It’s good to read this entire description. It is highly accurate from my experience. The Trap is where I find myself sometimes:

The TRAP of this Center/Part combo is that life becomes filled with reactions and feelings, but there is no organization that helps to give a voice to these. There is only over questioning, overwhelm, indecisiveness and a sense of dependence on the body, life+others to give cues as to what direction to feel or go.

It is also validation for me to read through the list in the key to balance. All of the things mentioned have always been quite helpful. Glad I read this. I appreciate all your efforts in research and summaries here. It really is nice to find information like this so readily. 🙂
