Troy

Late last night we noticed Glyph was acting strange and we knew something was wrong. Animals show symptoms long after they are sick as a defense mechanism, but because Rabbits are prey, they do not show symptoms at all until it's nearly too late. We made plans for an emergency specialist vet to see Glyph today, but... as I was getting his carrier ready he died this afternoon. I won't go into the details, but it was awful.

Just another thing to add to the shit show of 2016.

Glyph was the sweetest rabbit I've ever known. Of course, our two unfriendly white evil rabbits survive him.

Whether losing a human or animal or our Rights, this year of mourning and grief is just too much sometimes.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Troy. Our pets are our "fur children" and the loss cuts deep. What a cute bunny rabbit Glyph was - love those ears!

Troy and Bobby,

I can truly imagine (& feel) how profound the loss of Glyph must be.  Yes, its been a really rough year, with so many losses.  Big hugs to you both.

I often find comfort for my lost animals by thinking of what Michael has once told me; the animal is likely to come back to you, and it's not even a matter of finding the animal - it will find you again! So I hope you and Glyph will soon be reunited, and my heart goes out to you. The death of an animal friend is so, so painful. A big hug and best of thoughts and wishes.
